<v Speaker 1>Jared, Katie and Josh had.
<v Speaker 2>A nice little night last night. Took my daughter out
<v Speaker 2>for her birthday dinner.
<v Speaker 3>We like to take the kids out to dinner, like
<v Speaker 3>their choice on their birthdays.
<v Speaker 1>Where'd she go?
<v Speaker 3>Well, it's funny because we kind of like try to
<v Speaker 3>sway her.
<v Speaker 2>Oh it's really not her choice. Then, yeah, it's really not.
<v Speaker 3>So she was listing off a few places and we're like, oh.
<v Speaker 2>But have you thought about this? And what do you
<v Speaker 2>think about this?
<v Speaker 3>No, I'd really like to go here, Like, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 3>that that's a good spot, but boy, this one's much closer.
<v Speaker 2>And don't you like this, you know, at this restaurant?
<v Speaker 2>And I don't want.
<v Speaker 3>To name the ones we didn't want to go to,
<v Speaker 3>but we ended up at Tappadol last night, which is
<v Speaker 3>one of my favorite spots.
<v Speaker 1>It is weird how it worked out like that. Funny.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, she didn't even want pizza.
<v Speaker 3>Beer here, yeah, which I actually got a happy hour
<v Speaker 3>beer there you go. You know, yesterday was a day,
<v Speaker 3>so I was just like, I'm gonna have a beer
<v Speaker 3>on a Wednesday night. So yeah, yeah, pretty much happy birthday, honey?
<v Speaker 3>Is it happy hour?
<v Speaker 1>Is it Happy hour?
<v Speaker 3>She got some fun gifts. She got those viral. All
<v Speaker 3>the kids are wearing them. They're like really big, oversized,
<v Speaker 3>sloppy hoodies.
<v Speaker 2>Have you seen these things?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, but they're like it's like wearing a comforter essentially,
<v Speaker 3>and they're really thick and heavy and they like go
<v Speaker 3>down to her ankles. And this is what a lot
<v Speaker 3>of the girls are wearing in elementary school. It's not
<v Speaker 3>for me, you know me, I'm like, you know, have
<v Speaker 3>some respect for how you look.
<v Speaker 2>But hey, that's what she wanted, so that's what she got.
<v Speaker 3>And then we took a major step because this was
<v Speaker 3>a TV birthday.
<v Speaker 2>We got her own TV for her room.
<v Speaker 1>That's exciting, you.
<v Speaker 3>Know, growing up, that was a big deal when you
<v Speaker 3>finally got a TV in your room. So I spent
<v Speaker 3>a majority of the evening trying to set that up.
<v Speaker 3>And it's funny because it's no longer you just plug
<v Speaker 3>it in and turn it on. You got to go
<v Speaker 3>through forty five minutes of setting up apps and permissions
<v Speaker 3>and logging into all your accounts and then it like
<v Speaker 3>gives you advertisements on the screen and everything, and you
<v Speaker 3>got to turn all those off. Like buying a TV
<v Speaker 3>now is a b och.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it is.
<v Speaker 1>It really is.
<v Speaker 3>You got to set all your preferences and then I'm
<v Speaker 3>trying to figure out the NETFLIXX password NERD.
<v Speaker 2>So anyway, she was pretty darn excited about that yesterday.
<v Speaker 2>So it was a good day. It was a good
<v Speaker 2>little evening for us. I saw on the instagrams.
<v Speaker 3>It was a great little afternoon for Josh. I saw
<v Speaker 3>a picture of you and two dudes, which I'm pretty
<v Speaker 3>tapped into sports you are, And I had no idea
<v Speaker 3>who those two dudes were. I thought we had a
<v Speaker 3>couple of new sales guys starting then. I just wanted
<v Speaker 3>to get a picture with it.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, Oh, these guys look nice. Are they
<v Speaker 2>starting at the station?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Who was it?
<v Speaker 1>So it was a little meeting of Nathan McKinnon.
<v Speaker 4>I heard of him. He's a pretty decent hockey player.
<v Speaker 4>I think he'll be all right in a few years.
<v Speaker 4>And then Tyson Barry, who was an ex Avalanche and
<v Speaker 4>NHL player for a long time. In his retirement, he
<v Speaker 4>kind of got into the beer business. He created his
<v Speaker 4>own beer company called Chili Ones. And it's a little
<v Speaker 4>play on words. A lot of hockey players have different
<v Speaker 4>slang and things, and after hockey games, they would in
<v Speaker 4>the locker room go hey, anybody want to go for
<v Speaker 4>some chili ones afterwards? And he's like that name's I
<v Speaker 4>love it too, and his name, that name stuck with
<v Speaker 4>him and I tried it.
<v Speaker 1>Uh, good beer, we do. Yeah, they're actually in the fridge.
<v Speaker 1>Good beer.
<v Speaker 4>It's a light logger. And then obviously, because Nathan McKinnon
<v Speaker 4>is known for being such a health freak, really he
<v Speaker 4>also created a non alcoholic version of it too. So
<v Speaker 4>they stopped by yesterday just to.
<v Speaker 1>Tire on the fridge.
<v Speaker 4>Now yeah, they're here in the fridge now okay, Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>so he started, he started talking about those beers and
<v Speaker 4>they were they Katie, they could not be nicer. Tyson
<v Speaker 4>Barry I never got a chance to talk with or
<v Speaker 4>interview because he ended his career with the Avalanche earlier
<v Speaker 4>than when I started working. And then obviously Nathan McKinnon
<v Speaker 4>my idol. Yeah, like that dude is a hockey god.
<v Speaker 4>It was so freaking cool to meet him outside of
<v Speaker 4>the locker room. I've had interactions with him the last
<v Speaker 4>seven years of my career here, interviewing him in and
<v Speaker 4>out of the locker room. But to see the way
<v Speaker 4>he worked and to see the way he talked. Outside
<v Speaker 4>of that. I've never seen Nathan McKinnon smile, and he
<v Speaker 4>was actually happy and started smiling.
<v Speaker 1>You grabbed one. There we go.
<v Speaker 4>He was happy and started smiling and was talking with
<v Speaker 4>me back and forth. And I got a compliment. They
<v Speaker 4>both liked my hoodie that I was wearing yesterday. So
<v Speaker 4>it was a great day.
<v Speaker 1>There you go. You are actually cracking it open. Oh yeah,
<v Speaker 1>what do you think?
<v Speaker 3>Six am?
<v Speaker 2>Jesus. Okay, Jeremy's taking a nap halfway through the show.
<v Speaker 1>Now, Jeremy, he's he's gonna start texting Nicole at eight am.
<v Speaker 4>You up.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's pretty good though.
<v Speaker 2>Right, I'm not mad at that.
<v Speaker 1>That's really tasty. I like it actually, at six o
<v Speaker 1>seven in the morning. I can't believe you did that.
<v Speaker 2>I just want to let you guys know.
<v Speaker 1>I love you guys.
<v Speaker 2>I love you guys so much.
<v Speaker 1>We love you too. We'll drive them home, please,
