<v Speaker 1>Jery, Katy, and Josh.
<v Speaker 2>I was laughing with one of our callers for Fast
<v Speaker 2>five today because Josh had an awesome weekend, went to
<v Speaker 2>a couple sporting events, hung out with his sexy, sexy girlfriend,
<v Speaker 2>went to some bars downtown. Katie was out tearing it
<v Speaker 2>up at the Sublime concerts.
<v Speaker 3>Night two was perfect, and.
<v Speaker 1>I went carpet shopping. So oh, marriage, we win, Josh?
<v Speaker 2>Oh?
<v Speaker 1>Marriage usually.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, No, we definitely won the weekend because that makes
<v Speaker 4>some changes much fun.
<v Speaker 1>Gotta leave Nicole, you guys.
<v Speaker 4>Jeremy Friday and or no, I'm sorry, Saturday is this Sunday.
<v Speaker 3>I stayed up till three in the morn.
<v Speaker 5>Three in the morning, that's when I usually wake up.
<v Speaker 2>I learned all about nylon fiber, I learned about pets
<v Speaker 2>stained technology.
<v Speaker 4>It was like, I really am just live life, just
<v Speaker 4>grasping it by the horns.
<v Speaker 2>I saw I saw your Instagrammy's Yeah, it was fabulous,
<v Speaker 2>your journey to become an influencer.
<v Speaker 1>Well, you know, you looked really really happy.
<v Speaker 6>I was really you was really happy.
<v Speaker 1>It was beautiful views there.
<v Speaker 3>It was the perfect night.
<v Speaker 1>You had the major contact high.
<v Speaker 4>It was the vibes were so high. The vibes were
<v Speaker 4>higher than your mother in law's cholesterol. I just want
<v Speaker 4>to point that out. The vibes were great.
<v Speaker 5>But I just want to you know, it was a bucket.
<v Speaker 4>List moment for me because to be not only out
<v Speaker 4>at the best venue in the whole world, but to
<v Speaker 4>see my favorite band of all time and to be
<v Speaker 4>surrounded by like minded people. I mean, first of all,
<v Speaker 4>I just want to say I never been at Red
<v Speaker 4>Rocks when it was that busy. Okay, it was insanely packed,
<v Speaker 4>like so much so somebody that I was going to
<v Speaker 4>meet there couldn't even find park not only at Red Rocks,
<v Speaker 4>but down in the town of Morrison.
<v Speaker 1>Oh good luck, fine in any parking day.
<v Speaker 4>They were, yeah, gonna go park and then uber their
<v Speaker 4>way up, and they couldn't even find that. So it
<v Speaker 4>was the busiest I had ever seen Red Rocks.
<v Speaker 1>And did you say you had to get their crazy early?
<v Speaker 4>We left careful well because Sublime didn't even take the
<v Speaker 4>stage until ten o'clock, and there were two openers on
<v Speaker 4>Saturday night and seven o'clock. We showed up while the
<v Speaker 4>first opener was still performing, and all of the seats
<v Speaker 4>in general admission had been taken the sides there by
<v Speaker 4>all the trees and everything were starting to fill up,
<v Speaker 4>and anyone who knows Red Rocks knows that you can
<v Speaker 4>kind of trickle in there about an hour before the
<v Speaker 4>headliner gets on and you should be okay. That was
<v Speaker 4>not the case Saturday night, And I don't know how
<v Speaker 4>it worked Friday night. I know Friday night was pretty
<v Speaker 4>busy as well, but Saturday night it was like standing
<v Speaker 4>room only.
<v Speaker 1>It was just so packed.
<v Speaker 4>And so we made our way around the venue and
<v Speaker 4>we looked at all the seats in general admission and
<v Speaker 4>couldn't find anything. So we started to look on the
<v Speaker 4>side spots where the trees are and the ledges where
<v Speaker 4>you can sit, and we finally found a place by
<v Speaker 4>the tree, next to a ledge where the three of
<v Speaker 4>us could stand, and we were perfectly fine. There were
<v Speaker 4>two women in front of us on the left and
<v Speaker 4>they were sitting on a blanket, and at that point
<v Speaker 4>everyone was kind of looking at them, like you really
<v Speaker 4>think you can take up a surface area of a blanket.
<v Speaker 3>For two of you, Like that's not happening.
<v Speaker 4>And at one point there was a woman who pushed
<v Speaker 4>her way into our territory and started screaming at everybody.
<v Speaker 7>She was like, I'm a mom. I'm a mom, and
<v Speaker 7>my children need to sit on the ground. You need
<v Speaker 7>to move out of the way. I'm a mom, I'm
<v Speaker 7>and we're all looking at hers. We're like, we're all moms.
<v Speaker 3>I left my kid at.
<v Speaker 4>Home for this exact reason so I didn't have to
<v Speaker 4>scream at people and tell him I was a mom,
<v Speaker 4>Like what are you doing, lady?
<v Speaker 6>You know?
<v Speaker 4>And so she was causing quite the ruckus, so much
<v Speaker 4>so that my friend next to me looked at me
<v Speaker 4>and she's like, am I doing something wrong? And I
<v Speaker 4>was like, do you want me to stand next to her?
<v Speaker 4>And she's like I do, And so I stand next
<v Speaker 4>to this woman and I.
<v Speaker 5>Just look at her.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, lady, we're all moms. I get it,
<v Speaker 4>Like we want your kids to be safe. Like let's
<v Speaker 4>go moms rock out, and so we like fist pumped
<v Speaker 4>right like where everything's cool, Like we're cool.
<v Speaker 3>Her children are sitting on the ground. Everything.
<v Speaker 4>Kids are like fifteen, so they're teenage. They're not small children.
<v Speaker 4>One of them's holding the stuffed animal, but they're still teenagers.
<v Speaker 3>They're still teenage children.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, So after the last band before Sublime comes out.
<v Speaker 4>Pepper was on the stage right, and so everybody again,
<v Speaker 4>we are packed in and these people in front of
<v Speaker 4>us have their blankets, and everybody's cool with it for
<v Speaker 4>a second. But when that band gets done and they're
<v Speaker 4>starting to wait for Sublime to come on stage, these
<v Speaker 4>two groups of people do the weirdest thing. These two
<v Speaker 4>groups of people. The two girls on the left, they
<v Speaker 4>stand up and they walk away and leave their blanket
<v Speaker 4>on the ground, thinking that their blanket is gonna save
<v Speaker 4>their spot. And what did they do give a venue
<v Speaker 4>full of people that have no they don't know who
<v Speaker 4>you are. The mom with the two kids did the
<v Speaker 4>same thing, put a blanket down and walked away.
<v Speaker 3>But here's the thing.
<v Speaker 4>So they walk away and there's two blankets on the ground.
<v Speaker 4>It is me and my friends the front lines of
<v Speaker 4>this blanket, and the people behind us are pissed.
<v Speaker 3>We start hearing them.
<v Speaker 4>We're like, are they taking up the whole space for
<v Speaker 4>those blank Are those girls holding the place for those girls?
<v Speaker 4>Like all of a sudden, they think we're with these people,
<v Speaker 4>And so I turn around and I tell the people
<v Speaker 4>behind mom, No, I tell the people behind me. I'm
<v Speaker 4>like we're not with them, like, we're just standing here
<v Speaker 4>with you guys, like they just up and left.
<v Speaker 5>It's wild that they just left and no.
<v Speaker 4>Acts in between Pepper and Sublime taking the state all right, No,
<v Speaker 4>Pepper was the name of the band. So we're just
<v Speaker 4>standing there and again it is anarchy. It is starting
<v Speaker 4>to be anarchy behind me, like people are mad. They're
<v Speaker 4>like and like it well because they want to move
<v Speaker 4>up to that spot. Like there's there's people behind me
<v Speaker 4>pushing to make their way up.
<v Speaker 1>Can't just move mid concert.
<v Speaker 4>Though, and not get up and leave and expect a
<v Speaker 4>blanket to save your.
<v Speaker 6>Don't like any of this.
<v Speaker 4>You can't Belindy again, here's the thing they on for
<v Speaker 4>like twenty minutes.
<v Speaker 6>That's probably just the bathroom mind to be honest.
<v Speaker 4>Again, you one of you stays behind and saves your spot.
<v Speaker 4>Every buddy got up and left and was just blankets
<v Speaker 4>saving their spot.
<v Speaker 3>That doesn't count.
<v Speaker 6>No, that's ga concert etiquette right there.
<v Speaker 3>General admission.
<v Speaker 6>If two people person stays behind the seat.
<v Speaker 3>That's fine.
<v Speaker 4>You can go and use the bathroom in your seat.
<v Speaker 4>Is this is general admission? Well, here's the thing the
<v Speaker 4>person behind me because okay, so in front of them.
<v Speaker 4>There's like slivers of dirt where the blanket's not touching,
<v Speaker 4>and people start standing there. So all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 4>people are now standing in front of me because they
<v Speaker 4>see a little area, and I'm.
<v Speaker 7>Like, hold on, You're like, I'm am, just.
<v Speaker 3>Like people are gonna start standing in front of me. Now,
<v Speaker 3>I'm not gonna let that happens.
<v Speaker 4>So many people moving, are you kidding? You?
<v Speaker 1>To your same spot?
<v Speaker 6>And they had to go to the bathroom.
<v Speaker 2>It's no different than like wandering into Eastern service at
<v Speaker 2>church and throwing a jacket down on the pew there
<v Speaker 2>and saving your spot.
<v Speaker 4>They can show that has you think you can put
<v Speaker 4>a blanket down and that's gonna save your.
<v Speaker 1>Spot if you were there for beforehand.
<v Speaker 4>We were there before that mom and she elbowed her
<v Speaker 4>way up to try and get that space. And I'm
<v Speaker 4>gonna tell you again, my friends and I were standing
<v Speaker 4>in front of this blanket. And it's not like we
<v Speaker 4>just immediately rolled up and took their spot. It was
<v Speaker 4>because the people behind me finally said, if you don't
<v Speaker 4>move up, we're moving in front of you.
<v Speaker 5>And so I was like, you're not moving in front
<v Speaker 5>of me, So all of.
<v Speaker 3>Us moved up.
<v Speaker 4>I said, we need to save room for those two
<v Speaker 4>girls and crazy mom, just in case she wants to
<v Speaker 4>throw some bows, Like, let's save some spots for them,
<v Speaker 4>but not the whole surface area of a blanket for
<v Speaker 4>two people. He tried to calm the crowd and just
<v Speaker 4>get everybody on the same page, and when those two
<v Speaker 4>girls came back.
<v Speaker 1>We go, okay, it happened.
<v Speaker 5>The two girls were fine after a while.
<v Speaker 4>You could tell they were a little irritated at first,
<v Speaker 4>but once we explained to them, like listen, like those
<v Speaker 4>people were gonna take your spot altogether, we talked them
<v Speaker 4>into letting you have a spot saved because y'all just
<v Speaker 4>left you.
<v Speaker 1>No fight.
<v Speaker 3>You can't know. But Mom came back. Jeremy, I ain't
<v Speaker 3>get to Mom.
<v Speaker 4>YEA, all of a sudden, you hear behind me, because
<v Speaker 4>again me and my friends we are front of line
<v Speaker 4>now right so behind me, all of a sudden, I hear, mom,
<v Speaker 4>my kids need to sit on the ground.
<v Speaker 5>My kids need to sit on the ground. Blah blah blah.
<v Speaker 4>And I am about ready, and all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 4>I hear someone behind me start to rip into this mom,
<v Speaker 4>and then the whole crowd just starts ripping into the
<v Speaker 4>mom and telling her that she doesn't need her kids
<v Speaker 4>sitting on the ground.
<v Speaker 5>There's so many people in this concert.
<v Speaker 3>We are packed.
<v Speaker 4>I mean it is elbow to elbow and people are
<v Speaker 4>finally telling this mom, why do you even bring your
<v Speaker 4>kids to Sublime? If you wanted them to sit, you
<v Speaker 4>should have bought reserve seating. This is general admission. So
<v Speaker 4>I didn't really have to say anything, but it was
<v Speaker 4>kind of intense for a moment, and it just brought
<v Speaker 4>up a great discussion, like what is the etiquette at
<v Speaker 4>Red Rocks when it comes to that someone stays behind and.
<v Speaker 3>Saves your spot.
<v Speaker 5>If it's ga, you don't just get to put a.
<v Speaker 4>Blanket down and expect people to respect that.
<v Speaker 3>That's not it.
<v Speaker 6>That's not it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, what kind of blanket was it?
<v Speaker 4>It was just like a fuzzy blanket, Like just a
<v Speaker 4>fuzzy blanket that you would like a throw blank you know.
<v Speaker 1>What I mean, A heavy, warm blanket. I think you're fine.
<v Speaker 4>No, I don't think the size or the type of
<v Speaker 4>the blanket matters. I think it is complete etiquette.
<v Speaker 3>When it comes to concerts.
<v Speaker 4>You because again, I'm supposed to stick up for this
<v Speaker 4>blanket party like it's my job to fight the crowd
<v Speaker 4>and tell them no.
<v Speaker 1>Their blanket means you couldn't Mary Man.
<v Speaker 4>No, the crowd was turning against me thinking I was
<v Speaker 4>with blanket peeps.
<v Speaker 5>I wasn't with blanket peeps.
<v Speaker 3>That wasn't me, Like.
<v Speaker 1>You enjoy the show, my carpet shopping.
<v Speaker 2>Doesn't it seem so bad now, I'll be honest with you.
<v Speaker 1>Is it relaxing.
<v Speaker 6>Show?
<v Speaker 3>It turned out to be a fabulous show, So just
<v Speaker 3>so you know,
