<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>You were out about last night having some fun, Katie.
<v Speaker 1>I sure was.
<v Speaker 3>I got to see the new Michael Jackson movie and
<v Speaker 3>it is awesome. You need to spend your money on it.
<v Speaker 3>You need to see this flick. It blew my mind.
<v Speaker 3>It's probably one of the best movies I've seen in
<v Speaker 3>quite a while. But you know, Jaffar Jackson, who is
<v Speaker 3>Jermaine Son, No, Jermaine Son. Jaffar part of the Jackson Klayan,
<v Speaker 3>part of the lineage, right. He plays Michael Jackson in
<v Speaker 3>the movie. And I found out like his coming to
<v Speaker 3>be like his coming to get that part is kind
<v Speaker 3>of funny actually, because the producers of that movie, they
<v Speaker 3>were tapped into him because he, you know, performs and
<v Speaker 3>is was semi famous before this movie, so they knew
<v Speaker 3>of him.
<v Speaker 1>But when they were like, hey, we want you to try.
<v Speaker 3>Out for this part, the producers met with him and
<v Speaker 3>they were like, he was so in character of Michael
<v Speaker 3>that we had to tell him, hey, Jaffar, are we
<v Speaker 3>we don't need you to act like Michael exactly, like
<v Speaker 3>just be yourself, be yourself. And the funny thing is
<v Speaker 3>he was being himself. He really just sounds like Michael.
<v Speaker 3>And if you listen to the Jackson family, Janet, LaToya, Jermaine, Tito, Michael,
<v Speaker 3>they were all very soft spoken, they sound very similar,
<v Speaker 3>and so he kind of leans into that.
<v Speaker 1>But it is not just a sound. I'm telling you.
<v Speaker 3>There were so many moments in this movie where I
<v Speaker 3>was so just transfixed.
<v Speaker 1>I was so into it I forgot it wasn't Michael.
<v Speaker 1>I had to remind.
<v Speaker 3>Myself that this was an actor playing Michael because we're
<v Speaker 3>talking down to the neck pop. He was hitting it
<v Speaker 3>like he looks just like him, And my mouth was
<v Speaker 3>a gape.
<v Speaker 1>It was open so.
<v Speaker 3>Much just watching this movie, like I can't believe this
<v Speaker 3>is him.
<v Speaker 1>I can't believe he's this spot on because it looked.
<v Speaker 3>Just like Michael.
<v Speaker 4>That's good that it was good, because there were so many,
<v Speaker 4>so different, so many different talks about how they had
<v Speaker 4>to reduce so much of the movie. I was kind
<v Speaker 4>of worried that. I was like, they're going to mess
<v Speaker 4>it up essentially exactly like they had to do something,
<v Speaker 4>they didn't do it.
<v Speaker 1>And that's the thing, because this is a two part movie.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't I guess until I was in there, but
<v Speaker 3>the first part of yeah perfect. So this is just
<v Speaker 3>the first part of the movie and a lot of
<v Speaker 3>what we heard because I know the you know, sexual assault,
<v Speaker 3>how the alleged.
<v Speaker 1>All that stuff that happened.
<v Speaker 3>They had to cut it out just because of something
<v Speaker 3>that happened with the alleged victim and something that they
<v Speaker 3>agreed with him. So the fact that they didn't have
<v Speaker 3>that in there, I don't know if that was part
<v Speaker 3>of the first movie or the second one, but something else.
<v Speaker 3>Joe Jackson, the actor who played Joe Jackson, he famously
<v Speaker 3>had a very light eye color, hazel green Joe Jackson,
<v Speaker 3>and so they had to go throughout the movie and
<v Speaker 3>replace his eye color throughout the whole thing.
<v Speaker 1>It cost him a million dollars to do that.
<v Speaker 2>But it is again, they just become corfect.
<v Speaker 3>Well I don't know, I think that because they really
<v Speaker 3>wanted to get it right, and so they made the
<v Speaker 3>That's the one thing that he stayed well because I
<v Speaker 3>immediately after the movie, I'm like, how much of that
<v Speaker 3>was ai? Because now we can't trust anything right, And
<v Speaker 3>so I was like, did they use.
<v Speaker 1>Computers to make him act so perfect?
<v Speaker 3>Like Michael Jackson and know the one of the only
<v Speaker 3>things I could find out was the eye color was
<v Speaker 3>the thing that they changed and it cost him a
<v Speaker 3>million dollars. But the music, Jaffar hits every note. They
<v Speaker 3>have so many times where they're just doing like a
<v Speaker 3>studio session, so they have the isolated vocals.
<v Speaker 1>Of Jafar performing. You blow your mind. He's doing a
<v Speaker 1>little like he's doing all. It is so mind blowing
<v Speaker 1>you have to see it. And really, again, the overall
<v Speaker 1>feeling of this movie.
<v Speaker 3>I can't tell you how many times I got goosebumps.
<v Speaker 1>And you know when when like.
<v Speaker 3>You used to say at the head, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 3>they didn't do smooth Criminal yet, No, no, no, not yet.
<v Speaker 1>But that's the thing.
<v Speaker 3>There's Yes, there's two parts of this movie. But again,
<v Speaker 3>like watching it and hearing the music for it to
<v Speaker 3>give me goosebumps the way that it did well.
<v Speaker 1>And I wasn't even like some of this, like Jackson
<v Speaker 1>five stuff and everything.
<v Speaker 3>I wasn't alive for that, so I've only seen it
<v Speaker 3>in you know, YouTube videos and movies and things like that.
<v Speaker 1>But the stuff I do remember the eighties Michael.
<v Speaker 2>Jackson, Yeah, it was like on fire they did.
<v Speaker 3>So that's in the first part of the movie, and
<v Speaker 3>that was so much more serious. And I think people
<v Speaker 3>remember he almost died, so that part of the movie
<v Speaker 3>is so sad and you're just like.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, Price, no, yeah.
<v Speaker 3>So that, like it literally gave me goosebumps multiple times,
<v Speaker 3>and I know that is a great standard for a movie.
<v Speaker 1>I will tell you the one thing that was weird,
<v Speaker 1>the one.
<v Speaker 3>Thing where multiple times I found myself saying, where's Janet?
<v Speaker 1>Why isn't Janet in the movie?
<v Speaker 3>Because and we talked about that already a little bit,
<v Speaker 3>just how she didn't want to be in the movie.
<v Speaker 3>So there there is no reference to Janet. But she
<v Speaker 3>was the baby of the Jackson family, and it was
<v Speaker 3>very well known that Janet Jackson was a cute little
<v Speaker 3>kid who followed around her big brothers. And they have
<v Speaker 3>LaToya in the movie and they make reference to her
<v Speaker 3>quite a few times, but there's no Janet, and that
<v Speaker 3>to me just because I know Janet Jackson is such
<v Speaker 3>a big I mean, outside of Michael, she's the second
<v Speaker 3>most famous, right, So it's like the fact that she's
<v Speaker 3>not even referenced in the movie.
<v Speaker 4>Was it because Odd didn't really want the movie to
<v Speaker 4>be made, And like she had that tiff with them.
<v Speaker 3>Right now, I think, like the fan the movie, she
<v Speaker 3>has her own movie coming out. I guess that's the
<v Speaker 3>big thing is she is her own movie. She wanted
<v Speaker 3>too much control over this. Again allegedly, they don't really
<v Speaker 3>know exactly what it was. But she is not in
<v Speaker 3>this movie. They don't reference her. She doesn't have anybody
<v Speaker 3>playing her or anything. So that was the one part
<v Speaker 3>where I was like, that's a little odd. But everything
<v Speaker 3>else money, Ah, such a good bubble.
<v Speaker 1>Bubbles was my favorite part.
<v Speaker 3>Hey, I'm back in and he just like jumps into
<v Speaker 3>it and he has a diaper on the first time. Ah.
<v Speaker 1>That monkey's adorable. Thank you for reminding me.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm just curious. I would come with a hard hitting
<v Speaker 2>questions about the Michael movie Hair on Fire and was
<v Speaker 2>the monkey.
<v Speaker 1>And well, you know what, those are really important parts.
<v Speaker 2>Those are big party I need. They's a big question.
<v Speaker 2>What did you have for snacks while you're watching the movie?
<v Speaker 3>We didn't have snacks because we went in Nate before,
<v Speaker 3>so I had a big old hot steak and cheese
<v Speaker 3>sandwich from Snarf's Actually nothing.
<v Speaker 1>Weak about nothing week about that? Are you kidding me?
<v Speaker 1>He's so good.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I'm glad you had a great time.
<v Speaker 1>It was like a fun movie, so good
