<v Speaker 1>What is going on? Guys? It is another Wednesday Night.
<v Speaker 1>Aew Dynamite review for April twenty second, twenty twenty six.
<v Speaker 1>I am the solom Mons, through which you already knew
<v Speaker 1>because you saw the logo in the corner of the screen.
<v Speaker 1>I'm in a little bit of a better mood than
<v Speaker 1>I was a couple of hours ago, because it looked
<v Speaker 1>like the Mets were trending towards another loss, which would
<v Speaker 1>have put them at OH for their last thirteen. As
<v Speaker 1>it is, they went OH for their last twelve. But
<v Speaker 1>I am happy to report they have snapped the losing streak.
<v Speaker 1>And see, I would like to think that my little
<v Speaker 1>voodoo trickery last night on TNT had a little something
<v Speaker 1>to do with their luck. Changing had my little voodoo
<v Speaker 1>doll and I was doing the dance. Who the fuck knows.
<v Speaker 1>All I know is that they won. They beat the
<v Speaker 1>Twins three to two, so maybe they could try to
<v Speaker 1>turn things around. I mean, I know it's the Mets,
<v Speaker 1>so I mean, I'm not gonna hang my hat on that,
<v Speaker 1>but at least they picked up a win. You know
<v Speaker 1>who else picked up a win tonight? Darby Allen. Darby
<v Speaker 1>Allen is the new AW World champion. I wasn't here
<v Speaker 1>last week. Of course, I wasn't here last week, so
<v Speaker 1>when I'm not here, big things usually happen. I'm here
<v Speaker 1>basically all the time, but the one time I'm not
<v Speaker 1>here we get a rare world title change on TV,
<v Speaker 1>so I didn't have a chance to talk about it. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>the first I really talked about it was yesterday. I
<v Speaker 1>talked about it on The Uncrowned Wrestling Show, which you
<v Speaker 1>all should be listening to. Talked about it a little
<v Speaker 1>bit on TNT last night, but not here on the stream.
<v Speaker 1>So I just wanted to address this before we get
<v Speaker 1>into all the things that happened tonight on what I
<v Speaker 1>thought was a strong show. I enjoyed Dynamite tonight, but
<v Speaker 1>I went back after I came back from Las Vegas,
<v Speaker 1>and I wanted to watch the entire show from start
<v Speaker 1>to finish because I had the title change spoiled from me,
<v Speaker 1>which I figured it would be. So I knew that
<v Speaker 1>Darby won the championship, but all I knew was that
<v Speaker 1>he beat MJF in two minutes. He squashed MJF basically
<v Speaker 1>to win the AW World title last week, and my
<v Speaker 1>first thought was again second time in the last three
<v Speaker 1>months that the world champion has been squashed on television.
<v Speaker 1>One time, you can make the argument for if you
<v Speaker 1>have a good enough reason for it. Twice in three
<v Speaker 1>months is not something that I would be doing. But
<v Speaker 1>I want to go back and watch the entire show,
<v Speaker 1>see how it was promoted, and see how the whole
<v Speaker 1>thing played out. And I thought they did a good
<v Speaker 1>job in terms of that key story last week. Opening
<v Speaker 1>the show last week with MJF and Darby in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>Darby cutting this impassioned promof he didn't even know he
<v Speaker 1>was going to be defending the title. See, he was
<v Speaker 1>already in a bad mood, and they were going to
<v Speaker 1>do it right at the beginning of the show, and
<v Speaker 1>then they said, well, Tony Kain is going to give
<v Speaker 1>MJF until the end of the night, so that way
<v Speaker 1>there can be no excuses and he can go in
<v Speaker 1>there and he can defend his championship. And they had people,
<v Speaker 1>you know, really hyping up Darby, you know, good luck
<v Speaker 1>tonight in there against MJF. And they brought Sting in
<v Speaker 1>for the show. And as soon as I saw a Sting,
<v Speaker 1>I said, well, if I was watching the show live,
<v Speaker 1>it would have been obvious at that point that Darby's
<v Speaker 1>not losing this match. You know, they're Ineffett Washington, they
<v Speaker 1>flew sting out there for it. He's not going out
<v Speaker 1>there and losing. And then they do the actual match,
<v Speaker 1>and what I said said last week is that Darby's
<v Speaker 1>probably gonna win, and he's going to either win with
<v Speaker 1>a headlock takeover or he's going to counter out of
<v Speaker 1>one when MJF tries for one, because it only made sense.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, the history with these two guys goes back.
<v Speaker 1>It predates AW, it predates their first match in twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty one. This goes back to their time on the
<v Speaker 1>Indies together where MJF used a side headlock takeover to
<v Speaker 1>be Darby Allen. He went to go use one and
<v Speaker 1>Darby was able to counter out of it. He gave
<v Speaker 1>MJF a little taste of his own medicine with a nutshot,
<v Speaker 1>and he gave him not one, not two, not three,
<v Speaker 1>four coffin drops and then picks him up and pins
<v Speaker 1>him with a side headlock takeover. Now, if Darby Allen
<v Speaker 1>was ever gonna win the AW World Championship from this man,
<v Speaker 1>it can only be one way. There had to be
<v Speaker 1>a side headlock takeover for the sake of long term storytelling.
<v Speaker 1>Just that alone, there had to be a side headlock takeover,
<v Speaker 1>so I thought that was clever. And then they trod
<v Speaker 1>all the roster members out for the big celebration. Sting
<v Speaker 1>comes out and he celebrates with Darby's like, Darby's like
<v Speaker 1>a son to him. I was joking last night on TNT,
<v Speaker 1>I said that backstage segment when Sting was really trying
<v Speaker 1>to hype him up, Darby looked like he was so nervous,
<v Speaker 1>and Sting was like, no, it's not showtime, it's your time.
<v Speaker 1>Now get out there and show everybody what you can do.
<v Speaker 1>And Darby went and walked off, and I said, it
<v Speaker 1>looked like a father who was trying to calm his
<v Speaker 1>son down, who was very nervous going into school on
<v Speaker 1>his first day of class, and he sends his son
<v Speaker 1>into the school that get in there and you know,
<v Speaker 1>you do the thing. That's what it kind of came
<v Speaker 1>across as to me, father and son. It was a
<v Speaker 1>nice moment, the celebration everything at the end of the show,
<v Speaker 1>the fans cheering, all the guys, you know, the baby
<v Speaker 1>faces in the rings celebrating. We've seen moments like this
<v Speaker 1>in wrestling over the years, even with world title changes
<v Speaker 1>on TV. It's been done before. This is not something
<v Speaker 1>that we've never seen before. And I know that there
<v Speaker 1>was a lot of divided opinion, a lot of negative
<v Speaker 1>opinion when it came to what they did. Having watched
<v Speaker 1>the entire thing from start to finish, I thought they
<v Speaker 1>did as good of a job as you could do
<v Speaker 1>with it, considering how sudden it all was. My issue
<v Speaker 1>with is twofold number one. I again, the idea of
<v Speaker 1>squashing MJF that way, beating him that easily. Don't want
<v Speaker 1>to use the word squash. That's fine, that's what it was.
<v Speaker 1>Doing it twice in three months. You shouldn't be doing that,
<v Speaker 1>all right, that's number one Now. It's not going to
<v Speaker 1>kill MJF. He's not buried. Oh MJF is buried. If
<v Speaker 1>all the people on that fucking roster who can absorb
<v Speaker 1>a loss like that and not be buried, believe me,
<v Speaker 1>MJF is that guy. But I wasn't a fan of that.
<v Speaker 1>And also Darby for all the years he's been in
<v Speaker 1>this company. My issue with them putting the title on
<v Speaker 1>him now isn't just that MJF was on this great
<v Speaker 1>role and had all these challengers lined up as champion,
<v Speaker 1>but Darby just coming into this has not felt as
<v Speaker 1>cold as he does right now, Like there are periods
<v Speaker 1>of his career in aaw where he was a much
<v Speaker 1>hotter babyface, and you can make the argument that maybe
<v Speaker 1>now is the time. Right now is the time too,
<v Speaker 1>if you were ever gonna put the title on this guy,
<v Speaker 1>do it now. This didn't feel like the time, but
<v Speaker 1>they picked the right city for it because they were
<v Speaker 1>in his backyard, so of course everybody was going nuts
<v Speaker 1>and they were chanting his name. The reality is that
<v Speaker 1>when even though he may not be as hot of
<v Speaker 1>a commodity as he has been at different points in
<v Speaker 1>time to their audience, he's still one of the more
<v Speaker 1>over popular babyfaces in the company. And you see the
<v Speaker 1>celebration at the end of the show last week, and
<v Speaker 1>it made for a great moment. MJF comes out this week,
<v Speaker 1>as he did on social media all week, and he's
<v Speaker 1>just livid. I mean, he's just going off on Darby.
<v Speaker 1>Give me my belt back, You're a fucking thief. You
<v Speaker 1>hit me in the dick, right, I'm going to sue
<v Speaker 1>you and all this other nonsense, because that's what you
<v Speaker 1>would expect him to do. That's what I mean, Like
<v Speaker 1>it's in the long run, it's not going to hurt him,
<v Speaker 1>especially because Darby ain't going to have that title for
<v Speaker 1>very long. If you believe the Darby Allen is going
<v Speaker 1>to be walking into, for example, Wembley Stadium this summer,
<v Speaker 1>or frankly even forbidden Door as the AW World Champion,
<v Speaker 1>it ain't happening. I think most of us can look
<v Speaker 1>at this and see it for what it is, which
<v Speaker 1>is a way to hot shot the belt onto Darby,
<v Speaker 1>give him his run, kind of get it over with
<v Speaker 1>and get that belt back on MJF as soon as possible.
<v Speaker 1>And if that's the goal here and MJF is gonna
<v Speaker 1>get the belt back in a month anyway, no harm,
<v Speaker 1>no foul. I always said, when Darby Allen wins the
<v Speaker 1>AW World Championship, he's not gonna reign for very long.
<v Speaker 1>Like Darby is not gonna ever be that guy who's
<v Speaker 1>gonna go six months or a year, because the essence
<v Speaker 1>of Darby as a character on this show, the essence
<v Speaker 1>of who he is, he crashes and he burns, there's
<v Speaker 1>no off switch. Think of when he had the TNT championship.
<v Speaker 1>I think it might have been the second time. He
<v Speaker 1>was defending that fucking belt every single week until he
<v Speaker 1>burned out and he lost it. So it's not gonna
<v Speaker 1>be any different now. We see his first title defense
<v Speaker 1>already tonight, and he's already got a second one lined
<v Speaker 1>up next week. This man is going to crash and burn.
<v Speaker 1>It's not a matter of months. It's a matter of weeks,
<v Speaker 1>and MJF will get his belt back and nobody will
<v Speaker 1>be talking about this a month and a half from now,
<v Speaker 1>and it will not take away from the moment. If
<v Speaker 1>say MJF goes to all In this summer and loses
<v Speaker 1>the championship in the main event to someone like oh,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, will Ospray, people aren't going to look
<v Speaker 1>at that and go, man, you know, this would have
<v Speaker 1>been so much better if MJF didn't drop that bell
<v Speaker 1>for six weeks to Darby Allen, Like, give me a
<v Speaker 1>fucking break. So, watching the way that they did it,
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't as against it as I initially was, just
<v Speaker 1>when I initially heard the news, but still beating MJF
<v Speaker 1>in the way that they beat him in two minutes.
<v Speaker 1>That's not something I would have done coming off what
<v Speaker 1>they did with Brody King a few months ago. But
<v Speaker 1>that brought us to tonight. This was Darby Allen's first
<v Speaker 1>week as the AW World Champion. This was their first
<v Speaker 1>title defense here for Darby and he was putting that
<v Speaker 1>title on the line against Tamaso Champa in the main event.
<v Speaker 1>And what a main event they had. These guys went
<v Speaker 1>out there for god, what was it, seventeen minutes? Eighteen minutes.
<v Speaker 1>They gave them some time and they had a killer
<v Speaker 1>main event. Before we got to the main event. I
<v Speaker 1>was looking there was a match tonight between Will Ospray
<v Speaker 1>and Mark Davis. That was my match of the night
<v Speaker 1>until Darby and Shampa went out there and did what
<v Speaker 1>they did, and then they cleared the Osprey and Mark
<v Speaker 1>Davis match. But we had two killer matches on this show.
<v Speaker 1>We had the main event, which then set up Brody
<v Speaker 1>King as the next number one contender challenger what have
<v Speaker 1>you for the AW World title on the show next week,
<v Speaker 1>So that train keeps going. Darby's going to be defending
<v Speaker 1>that belt every single week. And we also had will
<v Speaker 1>Ospray and his bad neck out there against Mark Davis. Now,
<v Speaker 1>if you've watched these reviews or listened to these reviews,
<v Speaker 1>you know that I had become a fan of Mark
<v Speaker 1>Davis over these last few months, and that was not
<v Speaker 1>the case six months ago. Six months ago, Mark Davis
<v Speaker 1>was Okay. He's that guy in the Don Kallis family
<v Speaker 1>who is sort of you know, he's kind of lost
<v Speaker 1>in the shuffle there because he had a tag team
<v Speaker 1>partner and now he doesn't. And even in January they
<v Speaker 1>gave him another tag team partner, and then he got
<v Speaker 1>hurt and I'm like, man, this guy can't catch a break.
<v Speaker 1>And in between that Davis got hurt, he was just
<v Speaker 1>a background player in the Kallus family that they could
<v Speaker 1>throw in there when they needed a guy to go
<v Speaker 1>in there and lose, and that was it. But over
<v Speaker 1>time he's actually dropped some weight too. But over time
<v Speaker 1>he goes out there and he just has these really
<v Speaker 1>fun kind of brawling type matches. And I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>there aren't too many people on that roster, or at
<v Speaker 1>least anybody that's pushed that they have like that. That
<v Speaker 1>just comes across as like a almost like an old
<v Speaker 1>school kind of brawling type. Everybody has their flashy fucking
<v Speaker 1>moves and their dives and everything else that they do,
<v Speaker 1>and that's not really his style. So I've become a
<v Speaker 1>fan of his work because he's put together this string
<v Speaker 1>of just really fun matches, none more so than tonight
<v Speaker 1>against will Osbry, who also has put together I mean,
<v Speaker 1>no surprise it's well Osprey, but has also put together
<v Speaker 1>a string of very good matches on TV recently. You
<v Speaker 1>put the two of them together, no surprise, they went
<v Speaker 1>out there and they had an excellent match. So to me,
<v Speaker 1>those were the two highlights of the show tonight. They
<v Speaker 1>also set up a TNT championship match for next week's show.
<v Speaker 1>Two title matches next week Darby and Brody King. But
<v Speaker 1>also MJF is going to be challenging Kevin Knight, and
<v Speaker 1>that one's a little a little suss to me, considering
<v Speaker 1>we know what title MJF is going after. Why are
<v Speaker 1>they diverting him to another championship. But they've already set
<v Speaker 1>up two big title matches for next week, And also
<v Speaker 1>on this show tonight, Brody King had a match earlier
<v Speaker 1>in the night and he wrestled Leo Rush. The Leo
<v Speaker 1>Rush has. I believe this was a character that he
<v Speaker 1>portrayed at one time previously. I believe I could be
<v Speaker 1>wrong about that. Even still, there has been no explanation
<v Speaker 1>on this show anyway as to why all of a
<v Speaker 1>sudden Leo Rush has lost his mind. He looks like
<v Speaker 1>Dollum when he comes out, and he's muttering to himself,
<v Speaker 1>and he's got the wild eyes, and he's kind of
<v Speaker 1>galloping around like some kind of weird creature or demon
<v Speaker 1>of some kind. And I'm watching what he's been doing
<v Speaker 1>off and on because we don't get to see him
<v Speaker 1>on Dynamite very often. It's mostly collision or ring of honor.
<v Speaker 1>And it's different enough that it's growing on me. It's
<v Speaker 1>kind of like a fungus. It's growing on me, and
<v Speaker 1>I can appreciate how he is throwing himself into this
<v Speaker 1>just wacky character. I believe that we still it would
<v Speaker 1>be nice if we had some explanation through vignettes or
<v Speaker 1>whatnot as to why all of a sudden he has
<v Speaker 1>descended into madness or descended back into madness. We haven't
<v Speaker 1>had that. It was like a switch got flipped and
<v Speaker 1>all of a sudden, this guy's out of his mind,
<v Speaker 1>but he's out there, he's wrestling Brodie King, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>enjoying the character work that he's doing because he's throwing
<v Speaker 1>himself into this thing. And again, it's differ frint enough
<v Speaker 1>on a show where I think it can be hard
<v Speaker 1>to be different because everybody wrestles the same everybody they
<v Speaker 1>have just very similar styles. A lot of the guys
<v Speaker 1>on the show look very similar, not everybody, but it's
<v Speaker 1>good to try to be different. Sometimes it works out,
<v Speaker 1>sometimes it doesn't. This is just creepy and weird enough
<v Speaker 1>to me to where I'm intrigued. And so it was
<v Speaker 1>nice to see him get some shine on Dynamite because again,
<v Speaker 1>we usually don't get to see him on this show.
<v Speaker 1>And as far as the rest of what we had,
<v Speaker 1>there was a women's match that was a little choppy
<v Speaker 1>in a couple of points. Otherwise I thought that was decent.
<v Speaker 1>The other stuff on the show was decent. It really
<v Speaker 1>wasn't anything out of you know, excellent, like out of nowhere.
<v Speaker 1>Samoa Joe is back, which is nice. He's been in
<v Speaker 1>Concussion Protocol for a while. It was great to see
<v Speaker 1>Samoa Joe back. So it was an easy two hours
<v Speaker 1>for me to watch. I think they had a hard
<v Speaker 1>cut off at the top of the hour because I
<v Speaker 1>believe they're taping Collision for this weekend as we speak.
<v Speaker 1>No big overrun tonight, which is great because we didn't
<v Speaker 1>really need one. But when it was over, I liked
<v Speaker 1>the show. I was a fan of this week's episode
<v Speaker 1>of Dynamite. I thought it was a strong show. Moved
<v Speaker 1>some other things along the death riders. I mean, we'll
<v Speaker 1>get into what happened when the Ospbury match was over.
<v Speaker 1>We'll get into everything here, but this is your Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>review here again. It is April twenty second, two thousand
<v Speaker 1>and twenty six. I am the Solomn Monster. I want
<v Speaker 1>to before I go any further, I have to thank
<v Speaker 1>everybody because earlier today we did indeed pass ninety two
<v Speaker 1>thousand subscribers here on the channel. We hit ninety two
<v Speaker 1>k faster than I thought we would, which is very
<v Speaker 1>encouraging as we climb now towards ninety three and then,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you know where we're headed here. It's going
<v Speaker 1>to take a while, but you know where we're headed.
<v Speaker 1>In ninety two. I mean, it was a great year
<v Speaker 1>in ninety two. So anyway, thank you for helping me
<v Speaker 1>get there, and let's keep climbing. So if you're not
<v Speaker 1>subscribed already, hit that sub button, hit that like button
<v Speaker 1>as well. We're going to spin the wheel here momentarily
<v Speaker 1>to find out what the goal is for be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker Tonight and super chats are open, So if you'd
<v Speaker 1>like to send one in and support what I do
<v Speaker 1>here on the channel. If you like the content, I
<v Speaker 1>sure do appreciate it, go ahead and drop one. I
<v Speaker 1>want to give a quick plug to our pal David.
<v Speaker 1>David occasionally will put together these polls that you can
<v Speaker 1>vote in. He actually goes through a lot of the
<v Speaker 1>matches that we have booked in that be the Booker segment,
<v Speaker 1>and he puts these poles together. It's almost like a
<v Speaker 1>solid monster supercard type deal. It puts a lot of
<v Speaker 1>time into it. If you would like to vote. It
<v Speaker 1>is pinned in the chat from what I'm seeing. Tell
<v Speaker 1>me if you're seeing the same thing. When I would
<v Speaker 1>pin a message in the chat, traditionally it would be
<v Speaker 1>pinned at the top, right, because that would make sense.
<v Speaker 1>Now I see it's pinned at the bottom. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if that's a me thing. I don't know. If
<v Speaker 1>that's for all of you and you're seeing the same thing,
<v Speaker 1>it annoys me. I don't know why it's pinned to
<v Speaker 1>the now, anyway, it is pinned, So go find the
<v Speaker 1>link and go vote. Voting ends tomorrow, so don't waste
<v Speaker 1>any time on that. Let's spin this wheel and find
<v Speaker 1>out how many likes we need and then we can
<v Speaker 1>get this party started. Here always a challenge here on
<v Speaker 1>these dynamite streams, So if it's a high number, we're
<v Speaker 1>probably not going to be doing be the booker tonight.
<v Speaker 1>But let's see four seventy five. It's on the bottom
<v Speaker 1>for you too. I don't know why they did that,
<v Speaker 1>pseudo though, says he sees it at the top. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>it's a glitch. I don't know. Anyway, if you don't
<v Speaker 1>see it at the top, it's at the bottom. Four
<v Speaker 1>hundred and seventy five likes is the goal for tonight
<v Speaker 1>if we are to be the booker. We are at
<v Speaker 1>two forty four, so we got some work to do there.
<v Speaker 1>Go ahead and hit that like button. Let's get into
<v Speaker 1>this here. Let's talk about this dynamite show. Because after
<v Speaker 1>highlights of last week's big title chain and Darby Allen
<v Speaker 1>winning the AW World Championship. MJF was live in the
<v Speaker 1>arena and he was not happy. He was angrily marching
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring and he referred to last week
<v Speaker 1>as the Seattle screwjob. Said that he had come out
<v Speaker 1>victorious a few days prior at Dynasty, had that forty
<v Speaker 1>minute match with Kenny Omega. He beat Kenny Omega, said
<v Speaker 1>that he called Darby a cheat, said that he hit
<v Speaker 1>him in the nuts before that skank Aubrey Edwards made
<v Speaker 1>a fast count on him. So he asked the crowd,
<v Speaker 1>do you really think that Darby could beat me at
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent? Called himself the most complete athlete in
<v Speaker 1>the sport. It's beating everyone's favorites. Made sure Hangman Page
<v Speaker 1>can never again be the AW World Champion. He reminded
<v Speaker 1>everybody that he kicked out of the One Winged Angel
<v Speaker 1>like it was nothing. So did wear Ripley by the
<v Speaker 1>way at WrestleMania, and he demanded the Darby come to
<v Speaker 1>the ring to give him back his AW World Championship.
<v Speaker 1>And he didn't give a shit about his match in
<v Speaker 1>the main event tonight with Tamaso Champa, so instead he
<v Speaker 1>got the jet Kevin Knight, the brand new TNT champion
<v Speaker 1>who made his way down to the ring. And I
<v Speaker 1>told you, I mean, this is why I went with
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight as my pick in the Casino Galin match
<v Speaker 1>of Dynasty, because you could tell that Tony Kahan thinks
<v Speaker 1>very highly of him. He has been getting a lot
<v Speaker 1>more FaceTime on Dynamite going back to December, and it
<v Speaker 1>just felt to me like, if they had to take
<v Speaker 1>the title from Kyle Fletcher, why not put the belt
<v Speaker 1>on someone like Kevin Knight, who they are very high on,
<v Speaker 1>and give him a run and see how he does
<v Speaker 1>as the champion. And so now here he is sharing
<v Speaker 1>the ring again, not the first time with mjf and
<v Speaker 1>this is something that he needs. He needs more of this.
<v Speaker 1>He needs to be on the mic and not just
<v Speaker 1>by himself like last week he got on the mic
<v Speaker 1>after his match. He addressed the crowd. He needs to be,
<v Speaker 1>you know, going one on one with people who were
<v Speaker 1>better than him on the microphone so that he can
<v Speaker 1>get better and to see how, you know, how he
<v Speaker 1>reacts when he's in there with somebody else who's better
<v Speaker 1>than him on the stick. So he came out to
<v Speaker 1>the ring, he said it's a different city, but the
<v Speaker 1>same MJF whining like a little bitch. He said that
<v Speaker 1>it was about to get real because the jet is
<v Speaker 1>to fly. Told the MJF that I look clean with
<v Speaker 1>my new title around my waist, and when you're a
<v Speaker 1>fighting champion, you're willing to defend it at any time.
<v Speaker 1>And he made the case that he had MJF beat
<v Speaker 1>in their match all those weeks ago and that he
<v Speaker 1>should be Jet two belts right now. So MJF mocked
<v Speaker 1>how eloquent he was as a speaker and how he
<v Speaker 1>thinks it's socially acceptable to be friends with speedball Mike Bailey. Obviously,
<v Speaker 1>though your memory isn't that great like mine, because I
<v Speaker 1>remember beating you with a heat seeker for the easy dub.
<v Speaker 1>But he gave props to a Night called him a
<v Speaker 1>good hand, but someone who has a ceiling, someone who
<v Speaker 1>will never be the aw world champion. So Night said
<v Speaker 1>they he'll slap mjf's big ass nose off his face
<v Speaker 1>and send him packing. Said some of the best wrestlers
<v Speaker 1>have held the TNT title, which is something that MJF
<v Speaker 1>would know nothing about. MJF has had everything handed to him,
<v Speaker 1>so how about. He hands MJF an ass whooping and
<v Speaker 1>MJF says, well, if you want to wrestle, you want
<v Speaker 1>to get me in the ring, you're gonna have to
<v Speaker 1>put that TNT title on the line. And if you
<v Speaker 1>do that, then you got yourself a match. So Night
<v Speaker 1>agreed to it, and MJF said, all right, get me
<v Speaker 1>a referee out here. And here comes Bryce Remsburg and
<v Speaker 1>he's got the title and he's holding the title up
<v Speaker 1>and before the bell could be rung, MJF takes the
<v Speaker 1>powder out of the ring and he's kind of laughing
<v Speaker 1>as he starts to make his way to the back,
<v Speaker 1>and he says, you're gonna dance with the devil, but
<v Speaker 1>not tonight. You're gonna dance with the devil next week.
<v Speaker 1>And the fans here tonight. We're not very happy about
<v Speaker 1>that in Portland, but it makes sense. Why give that
<v Speaker 1>match away unannounced? So not the best promo from Kevin Knight.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he wasn't terrible, but you could tell like
<v Speaker 1>he's still I don't know nervous, if he was nervous
<v Speaker 1>or just just a little rough around the edges in
<v Speaker 1>interacting with MJF, I wouldn't call it a strong segment
<v Speaker 1>for him. I mean, he was fine, he was decent enough,
<v Speaker 1>but this is what he needs more of if he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna go back and forth on the mic with someone
<v Speaker 1>like MJF, which I mean, to be fair, not a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people can necessarily do that because MJF is
<v Speaker 1>the best talker they have in the company. Him and Joe,
<v Speaker 1>I would say, but this is the sort of thing
<v Speaker 1>that you want. You want him to be in there
<v Speaker 1>working with the best that you have. And also MJF
<v Speaker 1>being one of their top stars. Not a bad place
<v Speaker 1>for Kevin Knight to be right sharing the ring with
<v Speaker 1>someone like him. So hopefully we'll get to see him
<v Speaker 1>in more situation like that. But MJF challenging for the
<v Speaker 1>TNT title this, I don't understand him challenging for the
<v Speaker 1>TNT Championship when he is actively trying to get back
<v Speaker 1>the aw World title and we know that that rematch
<v Speaker 1>is coming very probably a double or nothing. That rematch
<v Speaker 1>is going to be coming, So why he's challenging for
<v Speaker 1>the TNT Championship next week is a little weird. It
<v Speaker 1>just seems to me like we're going to get the
<v Speaker 1>match and We're going to get some cheap DQ finish
<v Speaker 1>because MJF doesn't give a shit about the TNT title.
<v Speaker 1>I almost feel like if the title wasn't on the line,
<v Speaker 1>it would make it a little more unpredictable. So that part,
<v Speaker 1>to me was a little weird. But I like the
<v Speaker 1>fact that they at least announced the big match a
<v Speaker 1>week in advance. I think that's smart. Now we went
<v Speaker 1>backstage and Renee was there to interview Chris Jericho and
<v Speaker 1>the Demand, and they announced a six man tag team
<v Speaker 1>match for Collision. Ricochet said that Jericho burned all of
<v Speaker 1>his bridges and he had no friends anymore, and he
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't have any partners either. So Jericho showed off his
<v Speaker 1>brand new T shirt. Now, Jericho's brand new T shirt
<v Speaker 1>has a brand new catchphrase on it that he legitimately
<v Speaker 1>filed a trademark application for. If you want to show
<v Speaker 1>how the trademark system is being abused here in this country,
<v Speaker 1>this is an exhibit A but he legitimately filed a
<v Speaker 1>trademark for this, And I want to show you right
<v Speaker 1>now a photo if you would like to pick this
<v Speaker 1>T shirt up, because I'm sure you're all dying to
<v Speaker 1>buy one. You can do so right now on shop
<v Speaker 1>aw dot com for one low price of just thirty
<v Speaker 1>two dollars that does not include shipping and handling. That
<v Speaker 1>is the T shirt. It's called Chris Jericho the Guy Shirt,
<v Speaker 1>and on it it says Jericho the guy who gets
<v Speaker 1>his ass beat by the demand every week that he
<v Speaker 1>shows up, which is something that Ricochet said to him.
<v Speaker 1>I guess last week or a couple of weeks ago.
<v Speaker 1>This is now a real thing. This is a T
<v Speaker 1>shirt that you can own if you have a fan,
<v Speaker 1>a fellow friend who's a wrestling fan, and you need
<v Speaker 1>to buy something, maybe for their birthday. I'm sure they
<v Speaker 1>would love this as a birthday gift. So there you go,
<v Speaker 1>and look, all the sizes are available up to quadruple large.
<v Speaker 1>My fucking god, how big? How big do these shirts go? Oh?
<v Speaker 1>I mean I take that back. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 1>Five X. You could go from small to five X
<v Speaker 1>for just thirty two dollars. So Ricochet said that he's
<v Speaker 1>going to beat Jericho again with a Rico salt, and
<v Speaker 1>Jericho said he doesn't have to find partners who like
<v Speaker 1>him to team with him. He could just find two
<v Speaker 1>people who don't like Ricochet. I thought that Jericho was
<v Speaker 1>going to be bringing back Big Bill and Brian Keith,
<v Speaker 1>right since there was no resolution with them, Jericho just
<v Speaker 1>went away and that was it. That was the end
<v Speaker 1>of the Learning Tree. And I'm not saying that I
<v Speaker 1>want the Learning Tree back, but he needs two partners, right,
<v Speaker 1>So I thought, Okay, this is going to be their
<v Speaker 1>way of kind of, even just for one match, sort
<v Speaker 1>of writing off the Learning Tree once and for all.
<v Speaker 1>And that was not the case because later on in
<v Speaker 1>the show, in the back, Renee asked Jericho, have you
<v Speaker 1>found your partners for this match? And out of Jericho's
<v Speaker 1>locker room comes Shelton, Benjamin, Bobby Lashley and MVP the
<v Speaker 1>Hurt Syndicate and they all nodded to Jericho. So it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be Jericho and the Hurt Syndicate who have
<v Speaker 1>history with Ricochet and the Gates of Agony, and that's
<v Speaker 1>going to be the match on Collision this weekend, which
<v Speaker 1>again I believe it's being taped as we speak. For Saturday.
<v Speaker 1>After this, we had Brody king against Leo Rush doing
<v Speaker 1>his wacky Blackhart character. Again. Leo, he's very committed to
<v Speaker 1>this thing. I give him credit. He was crouched in
<v Speaker 1>the corner here at the beginning. Brody King is in
<v Speaker 1>the opposite corner, and Leo rushes crouched down in the corner.
<v Speaker 1>He's not even looking at Brody. He's looking kind of
<v Speaker 1>at the cameras right up in his face, and he's
<v Speaker 1>muttering to himself. He said, it's his house, it's not
<v Speaker 1>his house anymore. I don't know who he's talking to.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know who this he is that he's referring
<v Speaker 1>to the man. He belongs in a white coat somewhere.
<v Speaker 1>So the bell rang. Brody finally had enough and he
<v Speaker 1>went after this man, rushed bailed to the outside. He
<v Speaker 1>tried to throw a chop and Brody no sould it
<v Speaker 1>and just demolished him with chops of his own. But
<v Speaker 1>Leo is laughing. King sits him on a chair. He
<v Speaker 1>charges he missed a running crossbody up against the guardrail.
<v Speaker 1>So Leo then jumps on top of the like the
<v Speaker 1>lid of the announced desks, crouched right in front of
<v Speaker 1>the announcers, and he tried to crossbody off the table.
<v Speaker 1>He got caught, but he slipped out and he was
<v Speaker 1>able to drive Brody into the post and then sent
<v Speaker 1>him into the railing. So Rush tried for his rush
<v Speaker 1>hour move. Brody, though, turned him inside out with a lariat.
<v Speaker 1>He went for a gonzo bomb, Leo slid out. He
<v Speaker 1>hit a kick which sent King outside and then this
<v Speaker 1>is where Leo did his creepy gallop. It's the best
<v Speaker 1>way for me to describe it. He did his creepy
<v Speaker 1>gallop around the ring into a low toe pay and
<v Speaker 1>took out Brody on the floor. I'm like, I'm watching
<v Speaker 1>him do this, and you know what it reminded me of,
<v Speaker 1>because I actually just saw the movie again, not that
<v Speaker 1>long ago. It reminds me of the movie Megan with
<v Speaker 1>the Killer with the killer doll, and that one scene
<v Speaker 1>in the movie in the woods with the little boy,
<v Speaker 1>the abusive, obnoxious little boy who learned a very valuable
<v Speaker 1>lesson that day, which is you know you don't you
<v Speaker 1>don't put your hands on a lady, and don't act
<v Speaker 1>like a dick, because when you do, bad things will
<v Speaker 1>happen to you, Like a creepy killer doll might gallop
<v Speaker 1>towards you and chase you into traffic and you will
<v Speaker 1>be hit by a car and killed. Spoiler Sorry, I
<v Speaker 1>spoiled the scene for you. That's what this reminded me of.
<v Speaker 1>So back inside, Leo hit a frog splash to the back,
<v Speaker 1>Brody kicked out at one. Brody caught him though with
<v Speaker 1>a boss Man slam, and then he hit the Big
<v Speaker 1>Corner cannon ball and then finally the Gonzo Bomb for
<v Speaker 1>the win. So after the match, King said that he
<v Speaker 1>would be watching the main event and if Champa wins, congrats.
<v Speaker 1>While he's proud of Darby Allen, he's not proud enough
<v Speaker 1>not to bring the violence again. I said this earlier.
<v Speaker 1>I think we need some vignettes. I don't think we're
<v Speaker 1>going to get them, but it would be nice to
<v Speaker 1>have have some character vignette's with Leo trying to explain
<v Speaker 1>exactly why he has descended into madness with this character,
<v Speaker 1>because I know he was doing the crew stuff right
<v Speaker 1>with Action Andretti, and I just don't know that they
<v Speaker 1>even on Collision. I mean, did they ever really explain
<v Speaker 1>how he went from that to what he's doing now.
<v Speaker 1>I don't believe they have. And frankly, even if they
<v Speaker 1>did on one of those other shows, like if he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be on Dynamite, I'd like to see that kind
<v Speaker 1>of stuff on this show, because I'd like to see
<v Speaker 1>him featured more on this show. I know there are
<v Speaker 1>some wrestlers who are very big fans of what he's doing. Now,
<v Speaker 1>Shatzi Blackhart thinks that this is the fucking greatest thing
<v Speaker 1>in the world. Like I saw her the other day
<v Speaker 1>being interviewed and she was asked about this, and she
<v Speaker 1>was like, Oh my god, this is I'm in love
<v Speaker 1>with this character. This thing is amazing and if they
<v Speaker 1>give him the opportunity, it'll be the biggest thing in
<v Speaker 1>the entire company. I don't know about that, but it
<v Speaker 1>would be nice for them to try to explain. It
<v Speaker 1>could be fun to try to explain exactly how we
<v Speaker 1>got here, cause again, it's it's it's weird, it's creepy,
<v Speaker 1>it's different. It gets my attention, which doesn't always mean
<v Speaker 1>it's a good thing, but it does get my attention.
<v Speaker 1>But now I'm just wondering, Okay, what's the why here?
<v Speaker 1>We shouldn't just be doing things for the sake of
<v Speaker 1>doing it, Like, what's the why, what's the reason behind this?
<v Speaker 1>So Renee caught up backstage with Tomasso Champa and asked
<v Speaker 1>how Tonight's main event is gonna go. He said he's
<v Speaker 1>been told his entire career, you're not big enough, you
<v Speaker 1>can't pass the airport test, which is that's a Vince
<v Speaker 1>McMahon thing. You're not charismatic enough, You're not main event material.
<v Speaker 1>Tonight is not about heroes or villains. It's about passion.
<v Speaker 1>Glass ceilings are imaginary. Tonight is about pro wrestling, and
<v Speaker 1>Shampas said that you've never seen a man more prepared
<v Speaker 1>for his moment than he is tonight. Go ask Darby
<v Speaker 1>Allen if he wants this more than Champa needs it.
<v Speaker 1>This was a great babyface promo. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>champion is supposed to be from week to week. Is
<v Speaker 1>he a heal? Is he a baby face? I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I've seen him. I've seen him basically come across both
<v Speaker 1>ways in the last couple of months. I did see
<v Speaker 1>Megan two. I didn't like it as much as the
<v Speaker 1>first one. It was okay, it was okay. I wasn't
<v Speaker 1>a big fan of it. I like the first one
<v Speaker 1>a lot more. Backstage, Adam Copeland talked about how he
<v Speaker 1>and Christian Cage they want another shot at FTR and
<v Speaker 1>the aw tag team titles, even though FTR turned them
<v Speaker 1>down last week. Copeland proposed a New York Street fight
<v Speaker 1>at Double or Nothing next month, and he goes, how
<v Speaker 1>about we do this. If FTR wins Cope and Christian,
<v Speaker 1>they are retired as a tag team. They will never
<v Speaker 1>again work together as a team. So Copeland says, he
<v Speaker 1>knows what his answer would be. And if you're the
<v Speaker 1>best tag team of all time, like you say you are,
<v Speaker 1>then he knows what the answer should be. Only one
<v Speaker 1>way to prove it, though, balls in your court, boy,
<v Speaker 1>That telegraphs the finish of that match, doesn't it. Cope
<v Speaker 1>and Christian are not retiring from anything until they win
<v Speaker 1>the AW Tag Team titles at least once, because Tony
<v Speaker 1>Khan wants those tag team titles in the history books.
<v Speaker 1>The history books are very important to Tony Khan. He
<v Speaker 1>wants Cope and Christian Edge and Christian to be tag
<v Speaker 1>team champions at least once in his company. He didn't
<v Speaker 1>get it with the Hardys. Things didn't work out with
<v Speaker 1>Jeff Hardy, and so the Hardy's never held AW Tag
<v Speaker 1>Team gold. They've held gold everywhere but AW and he's
<v Speaker 1>not going to allow that to happen with these two men.
<v Speaker 1>They just told you what the finish of that match
<v Speaker 1>is going to be Hikarushida with Chris Statlander in her
<v Speaker 1>corner taking on Mina Shirikawa. We had some joshi violence
<v Speaker 1>here in this match. In fact, before the match earlier today,
<v Speaker 1>she'd have said made the best joshi win, and she
<v Speaker 1>was also mockingly clapping for Mina as she made her
<v Speaker 1>way down to the ring. So, if you haven't been
<v Speaker 1>paying attention, and I've tried to, a lot of this
<v Speaker 1>stuff has been on collision. Sheida has been doing this
<v Speaker 1>new type. It's not really a gimmick, but she's acting
<v Speaker 1>more heelish than she has in the past, and she's
<v Speaker 1>been teaming up recently with Statlander, but you could see
<v Speaker 1>kind of where's she's trending more in the heel direction.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, there was a figure four applied late in
<v Speaker 1>the match. She'da got the ropes, Mina started arguing with
<v Speaker 1>the referee. As she'da went to go grab her kendo stick,
<v Speaker 1>Mina grabbed it away from her she was going to
<v Speaker 1>use it as a weapon. Statlander reached in and she
<v Speaker 1>snatched the kendo stick away from her and this momentary
<v Speaker 1>distraction here allowed shea to hit a leaping knee strike
<v Speaker 1>and a falcon arrow for the wind and Statlander. They
<v Speaker 1>the camera on her and she just had this look
<v Speaker 1>on her face like, oh oops, like she didn't intend
<v Speaker 1>for that to happen, but she she helped her partner win,
<v Speaker 1>but she didn't mean for it to play out that way. Hidah,
<v Speaker 1>though she was thrilled, she was happy with this. Sida
<v Speaker 1>has traditionally been a babyface basically her entire run in
<v Speaker 1>this company, so it felt to me like the fans
<v Speaker 1>didn't really they didn't really know how to take it,
<v Speaker 1>you know, kind of like who to cheer for here,
<v Speaker 1>and because they liked both these women, there were a
<v Speaker 1>couple of clunky moments in the match. It was decent
<v Speaker 1>on the whole. It wasn't that great, but it was decent.
<v Speaker 1>But you know what was not decent? You know, it
<v Speaker 1>was much better than decent this next match because we
<v Speaker 1>had will Ospray one on one with Mark Davis, and
<v Speaker 1>this was great. I very much enjoyed this match. Ex
<v Speaker 1>Caliber said that Osprey barely got cleared for Tinda. This
<v Speaker 1>is his gimmick now, by the way, every single week
<v Speaker 1>will Ospray barely gets cleared by medical. The man missed
<v Speaker 1>five months I think, I don't think it was six
<v Speaker 1>months after neck fusion surgery. And so if he's this
<v Speaker 1>close to not being cleared every single week, if this
<v Speaker 1>is his new gimmick, why was he even allowed to
<v Speaker 1>return to the ring in the first place. What does
<v Speaker 1>this say about aw Medical that every week it's a
<v Speaker 1>crapshoot as to whether or not this man is going
<v Speaker 1>to be medically cleared. Why not just let him rest
<v Speaker 1>at home for another few months until he's back to
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent. Apparently that's not the way it works
<v Speaker 1>here in aw So right out of the gate, Davis
<v Speaker 1>launched Osprey out of the ring and he wanted a
<v Speaker 1>power bomb on the stage early, but Osprey slid out
<v Speaker 1>and he ended up hitting a summrsault dive off the again,
<v Speaker 1>I say off the stage. It's not like a huge
<v Speaker 1>drop off here, but he did a summersault dive off
<v Speaker 1>the stage onto Davis. So Davis of course targeted the
<v Speaker 1>bad neck and he tried for a pile driver. Osprey
<v Speaker 1>avoided it. He landed a Spanish fly for a near fall.
<v Speaker 1>Davis answered with a pair of backdropped suplexes, and Osprey
<v Speaker 1>was grabbing at his neck. He had all the the
<v Speaker 1>fucking athletic tape on his neck and he's grabbing at
<v Speaker 1>the neck. He did manage to catch Davis with a
<v Speaker 1>hidden blade and didn't cover him right away, but he
<v Speaker 1>covered him, only got a near fall out of it.
<v Speaker 1>So Davis fired back with a lariat and he gave
<v Speaker 1>him a pile driver. Osprey, though, was saved by the
<v Speaker 1>bottom rope on the follow up pin attempt, So Davis
<v Speaker 1>then took him out to the apron and he gave
<v Speaker 1>him a pile driver variation. It was basically a version
<v Speaker 1>of a pile driver on the apron and it got
<v Speaker 1>a great reaction that the crowd gasped and Osprey slowly
<v Speaker 1>fell to the floor in a heap. Doc Samson came over.
<v Speaker 1>He rushed over to check on Osprey. Referee was holding
<v Speaker 1>Davis back and after I don't know thirty seconds went by,
<v Speaker 1>and the doc looked up at the referee and said, no,
<v Speaker 1>that's it, that's it, We're done, And so the referee
<v Speaker 1>called the match off. We had a ref stoppage. And
<v Speaker 1>how about that Mark Davis. Yes, the Mark Davis actually
<v Speaker 1>wins a match on aw Dynamite. I'm amazed. And the
<v Speaker 1>reason that the referee was forced to stop the match
<v Speaker 1>is because the doctor said that Osprey was complaining he
<v Speaker 1>had no feeling in his arm, which sounds like a problem.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe next week he shouldn't be medically cleared, but I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure they'll clear him anyway. So when the match was over,
<v Speaker 1>Davis wasn't done though. He dragged the Osprey back inside.
<v Speaker 1>He was about to deliver another pile driver because he
<v Speaker 1>has no mercy. But before he could do it, he
<v Speaker 1>has him up in a pile driver position. But all
<v Speaker 1>of a sudden, Marina Shaffir is on the apron, and
<v Speaker 1>then he turns around and again he still has him
<v Speaker 1>upside down the pile driver position. He turns around and
<v Speaker 1>now John Moxley is in the ring, and now the
<v Speaker 1>rest of the Death Riders. They surround the ring and
<v Speaker 1>Davis is out numbered here, and he's like he thinks
<v Speaker 1>better of it. He slowly sets Ospray safely back down
<v Speaker 1>on the mat and he exits because he's out numbered here.
<v Speaker 1>He's not an idiot, so he leave the ring. The
<v Speaker 1>death Riders meanwhile, they pull Ospray out of the ring
<v Speaker 1>and they carry him through the crowd out of the arena,
<v Speaker 1>and that is how this ended. First of all, this
<v Speaker 1>was an excellent match with two men who I think
<v Speaker 1>have been the television MVPs of the year so far,
<v Speaker 1>because every match that Osprey has had since he's come back,
<v Speaker 1>except maybe the first one, that first match he had
<v Speaker 1>with Oh God, who did he wrestle the swirl guy
<v Speaker 1>Blake Christian That I mean, it was fine. It wasn't
<v Speaker 1>anything special, but like the match with the hetch of
<v Speaker 1>Sero last week and some other stuff he's done. Like Osprey,
<v Speaker 1>he's had some really good matches. Mark Davis has had
<v Speaker 1>some really good matches, and you always expect he's gonna lose.
<v Speaker 1>He's gonna always be on the losing end of it.
<v Speaker 1>So it was nice that he got a fucking win
<v Speaker 1>for a change on the show tonight. Like you may
<v Speaker 1>not push the guy, but you know what, every now
<v Speaker 1>and then throw a win his way if you get
<v Speaker 1>a feature him this much on television instead of making
<v Speaker 1>him the modern day like Iron Mike Sharp, who just
<v Speaker 1>goes in there and loses every match that he's in,
<v Speaker 1>it's okay to throw him a win. You know, on
<v Speaker 1>the main show every now and then, But as far
<v Speaker 1>as Osprey and the next stuff goes, look, this is
<v Speaker 1>going to continue to be the story into the summer
<v Speaker 1>until he beats John Moxley. Is this is how I
<v Speaker 1>see it playing out. I've mentioned the finals of the
<v Speaker 1>Owen before. I could be wrong about that. It could
<v Speaker 1>just be a straight up stipulation match of some kind
<v Speaker 1>at double or Nothing. In fact, it would seem to
<v Speaker 1>me double or Nothing would be the most likely place
<v Speaker 1>for the rematch. And I mean, I suppose Osprey could
<v Speaker 1>lose again and then eventually get his win back, but
<v Speaker 1>he'll probably get his win back on that show. I
<v Speaker 1>was just thinking of the Owen just because I just
<v Speaker 1>hate the idea of them wrestling again and having the
<v Speaker 1>TNT Championship be part of that before the Continental title
<v Speaker 1>be a part of it, because it's just completely unnecessary.
<v Speaker 1>We already saw it once, we don't need to see
<v Speaker 1>it again again. That title has nothing to do with
<v Speaker 1>what the mission is for Will Osprey. I like the
<v Speaker 1>idea of him eventually beating Moxley, and when he does so,
<v Speaker 1>the more important thing is that it earns him the
<v Speaker 1>right to then challenge for the top title in the company,
<v Speaker 1>because now you've got Tomaso Champa, you've got Brodie King,
<v Speaker 1>You're gonna have people fighting for this belt every single week,
<v Speaker 1>and you're gonna tell me that Will Osprey should not
<v Speaker 1>be fighting for the World Championship. If he's fighting for
<v Speaker 1>it in August, he has to win the Owen first,
<v Speaker 1>So why not have him finally get that win over
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley in the finals where it really counts for something.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I was thinking when I sort of mapped
<v Speaker 1>it out of my head. Double or nothing at the
<v Speaker 1>earliest is when we'll see that match. But until we
<v Speaker 1>get there, the story of Will Osprey on this show
<v Speaker 1>is going to be the neck. You know, is he
<v Speaker 1>going to be able to get cleared? And then he
<v Speaker 1>gets cleared and he's in there and he's clutching the
<v Speaker 1>neck and people are dropping him on his fucking head
<v Speaker 1>every single week. This is going to continue to be
<v Speaker 1>the story until he beats Sean Moxley, and then at
<v Speaker 1>that point it may go away and the story ships
<v Speaker 1>to him trying to do the one thing he has
<v Speaker 1>yet to be able to do, which is win the
<v Speaker 1>top championship in the company. I would presume from MJF.
<v Speaker 1>Cannot discount the possibility it could be from Kenny Omega
<v Speaker 1>because that is another rumor going around that that potentially
<v Speaker 1>could be the match they want to do in the
<v Speaker 1>main event on that show. Again, a very big match,
<v Speaker 1>very big match, although I don't know where MJF falls
<v Speaker 1>and then if you do that, but that's how I
<v Speaker 1>see things playing out. Great stuff here though. Now. Renee
<v Speaker 1>was backstage with Missus Ostra, the soon to be missus
<v Speaker 1>Osprey believe they're getting married in June, Alex Windsor, and
<v Speaker 1>she was asking Alex about her loss to Tekla last
<v Speaker 1>week Jamie Hayter still not cleared after her match with
<v Speaker 1>tech Led Dynasty, Windsor said that she's gonna rip the
<v Speaker 1>legs off the Spider when Persephone showed up and she
<v Speaker 1>said that she would team with her on collision, and
<v Speaker 1>Windsor accepted and said they would challenge any two members
<v Speaker 1>of the Triangle of Madness for a collision this Saturday.
<v Speaker 1>We had after this, the return of the former two
<v Speaker 1>time aw World champion Samoa Joe, out of concussion protocol,
<v Speaker 1>back on the show here against Cody chun Yes, Cody
<v Speaker 1>chun I know he's your favorite. I can't tell you
<v Speaker 1>a damn thing about him. I wish I could. He
<v Speaker 1>wasn't in the ring along enough for me to even
<v Speaker 1>bother looking it up. Chun fought out of a musclebuster
<v Speaker 1>with an eye rake. He tried for a leaping cross
<v Speaker 1>body and Joe just noped right the hell out of
<v Speaker 1>the way. And then he finally hit the musclebuster and
<v Speaker 1>he got the quick win. That was it, barely even
<v Speaker 1>broke a sweat, And as Joe is heading to the back,
<v Speaker 1>Hook walks out, big smile on his face, applauding, very
<v Speaker 1>happy that his boy is back and the two of
<v Speaker 1>them left together. I think it's time to move on
<v Speaker 1>from this ops stuff. The ops stuff played itself out
<v Speaker 1>a long time ago. I don't really see the need
<v Speaker 1>for it anymore. But it's good to have Joe back,
<v Speaker 1>and it's good to have Joe healthy again for now.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he's gotten hurt a few times. Hopefully he
<v Speaker 1>can stay healthy for a while this time. And he's
<v Speaker 1>another one who you know if you're looking for top
<v Speaker 1>names to plug into that world title scene, because we've
<v Speaker 1>been talking about all the names that are lined up
<v Speaker 1>to challenge for the aw World title. And this is
<v Speaker 1>when MJF was the champion, but you had Kenny Omega
<v Speaker 1>and you had Will Ospray, You've got Swerve Strickland. Where
<v Speaker 1>the hell's Swerve been? Right, He's taken some time off
<v Speaker 1>once he in a show up Andrade. We never did
<v Speaker 1>get that match with MJF. And androde I said this
<v Speaker 1>month ago, I think if you do Arena Mexico again
<v Speaker 1>for Grand Slam Mexico, that should be the match on
<v Speaker 1>that show, except MJF is not the champion right now.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully by then he will have the belt back. I
<v Speaker 1>think they did that at Arena Mexico in June of
<v Speaker 1>last year, so if they do the same thing again,
<v Speaker 1>it's not that far off. So if he gets that
<v Speaker 1>belt back before then I think that's the match you
<v Speaker 1>do on that show. And now you can plug Somemo
<v Speaker 1>with Joe back in there, because I think he was
<v Speaker 1>probably going to get a rematch anyway, and then he
<v Speaker 1>got hurt and he has an argument to make like
<v Speaker 1>I was, I'm the former champion and I deserve another shot. Boom,
<v Speaker 1>there you go. Now you got another person to step
<v Speaker 1>up and challenge. It actually does make more sense. Though
<v Speaker 1>for him to step up at a time when Darby
<v Speaker 1>is the champion because Joe. Look, the fans love Joe.
<v Speaker 1>They were cheering for him tonight. I still look at
<v Speaker 1>him as a heel. I guess he's whatever the fans
<v Speaker 1>want him to be. But if he wanted, if he
<v Speaker 1>showed up on the show and said I want to
<v Speaker 1>shout at the title, it probably would make more sense
<v Speaker 1>to have him be one of those people that steps
<v Speaker 1>up to Darby in the next few weeks. I could
<v Speaker 1>see that being a TV match. Speaking of Darby, we
<v Speaker 1>had a video package here celebrating the brand new AW
<v Speaker 1>World Champion. It was set to I've got to be Me,
<v Speaker 1>highlighting his entire aw career up to winning the world
<v Speaker 1>title on the show last week. This was very good.
<v Speaker 1>I was not expecting to hear Sammy Davis Junior on
<v Speaker 1>this show tonight, but I thought it fit well here
<v Speaker 1>in this video package. Tony Shavani was in the ring
<v Speaker 1>after this to welcome the brand new AW World Champion,
<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen out to the ring and they hugged and
<v Speaker 1>then he took the mic from Tony and Darby said
<v Speaker 1>that to the fans here in Portland. First wrestling match
<v Speaker 1>he ever had was right here in this city. He
<v Speaker 1>knows that this could all end in a matter of minutes.
<v Speaker 1>When Tamaso Champa comes out here, he sees what this
<v Speaker 1>title does to people. It grows egos. But this isn't
<v Speaker 1>for him. This is for his parents, who he helped retire.
<v Speaker 1>This is for his fiance, who he met on the
<v Speaker 1>school bus. Which I think I know what he meant
<v Speaker 1>by that, but like, that's a little creepy. I'm just saying,
<v Speaker 1>maybe rephrase that a little bit. He met his He
<v Speaker 1>met his fiance on the school bus. What is this

<v Speaker 1>This is for the sherpas who helped him get to
<v Speaker 1>the top of Mount Everest, and this is for the fans.
<v Speaker 1>So MJF marches out on stage and he's screaming, and
<v Speaker 1>you know, Darby doesn't deserve shit, and he wants his
<v Speaker 1>belt back, Give me my belt back. Darby says no,
<v Speaker 1>and he refuses a rematch, says he's not giving MJF
<v Speaker 1>a rematch until he puts something on the line because
<v Speaker 1>everyone in the back deserves a shot, which is not true,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, everyone in the back does not deserve
<v Speaker 1>a shot. Okay, let's not get carried away here. This
<v Speaker 1>is your world championship. But he says he'll put the
<v Speaker 1>title on the line every single week, it just won't
<v Speaker 1>be against MJF. So Tomaso Champa his music hits. He
<v Speaker 1>makes his way out, and he and MJF pass each
<v Speaker 1>other on the way to the ring, and he gives
<v Speaker 1>MJF a kiss on the cheek and then continues walking
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring for the main event. And I
<v Speaker 1>actually am very happy that they didn't go with the
<v Speaker 1>finish that I thought they would go with I thought
<v Speaker 1>MJF was going to show up and he was going
<v Speaker 1>to get involved and we might get some kind of
<v Speaker 1>screwy finish, and we didn't. We didn't see him again
<v Speaker 1>for the rest of the night. We had a clean
<v Speaker 1>main event, which was Tomaso Champa challenging Darby Allen for
<v Speaker 1>the aw World title. Darby delivered a coffin drop to
<v Speaker 1>a standing Champa on the floor very early in the match. Champa,
<v Speaker 1>though recovered. He shoved Darby very hard into the announced
<v Speaker 1>desk and then into the barricade. Later on, Darby he
<v Speaker 1>climbed to the top of the ring post. Champa is outside.
<v Speaker 1>Champa actually came in. I think he went for a
<v Speaker 1>halluva kick over by the timekeeper's barricade, and Darby moved
<v Speaker 1>and he kind of crotched himself on the barricade, and
<v Speaker 1>so now Champa is standing on the other side of
<v Speaker 1>the barricade. So Darby is standing on the top of
<v Speaker 1>the post and he launches himself. He dives off onto
<v Speaker 1>Champa on the other side of the barricade and they
<v Speaker 1>go crashing through a table that was in the timekeeper's area.
<v Speaker 1>So after this, Champa came up and he was bleeding
<v Speaker 1>a lot. Darby delivered a suicide dive that sent him
<v Speaker 1>crashing into the side of the announced desk, and then
<v Speaker 1>he in the ring hit a scorpion death drop, but
<v Speaker 1>at the same time Champa tore off the top turnbuckle pad.
<v Speaker 1>Both men ended up on the top rope. Champa hit
<v Speaker 1>an air raid crash to the floor. This looked like
<v Speaker 1>it fucking sucked to take. I mean the way Darby
<v Speaker 1>bounced off the floor outside you could hear the thud.
<v Speaker 1>This was this was this was not good. So later
<v Speaker 1>on Darby hit a Code red, Champa kicked out At
<v Speaker 1>two and a half. Darby went for a coffin drop.
<v Speaker 1>Champa caught him coming down into a rear naked choke.
<v Speaker 1>Darby was able to escape. Champa, though avoided whatever it
<v Speaker 1>was that he was going for, and collided with the
<v Speaker 1>exposed steel in the corner. Champa then delivered a knee
<v Speaker 1>strike and he got a very close near fall. He
<v Speaker 1>followed with Project Champa and another knee strike for what
<v Speaker 1>was a very for me anyway, very convincing near fall.
<v Speaker 1>Here after that second knee strike, I did for a
<v Speaker 1>split second, they got me thinking Okay, maybe maybe, even
<v Speaker 1>though the smart part of my brain knew that it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't gonna happen, But that was the closest near fall
<v Speaker 1>of the match. So then Champa tries for a scorpion deathlock.
<v Speaker 1>He's gonna, he's gonna stings move on Darby. Darby escapes
<v Speaker 1>and he counters into one of his own and he's
<v Speaker 1>got it locked in, and Shampa is fighting and he's fighting,
<v Speaker 1>and he's trying to maneuver his way into different positions.
<v Speaker 1>He's twisting himself like a pretzel. He can't get out
<v Speaker 1>of this move, and finally he has no choice left
<v Speaker 1>but to tap out and Darby retains the title. After
<v Speaker 1>the match, Darby extended a handshake and Champa accepted, and
<v Speaker 1>he placed the title on Darby's shoulder. Brody King came
<v Speaker 1>out and he helped Darby to his feet, and he
<v Speaker 1>said he was serious when he said earlier that he
<v Speaker 1>was proud of him. But he also talked to Tony
<v Speaker 1>Kahan and with his permission, he wanted a World Championship
<v Speaker 1>match on Dynamite next week, and Darby shook his hand
<v Speaker 1>and the match was made official, so on Dynamite next Wednesday,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know where the show is, but it will
<v Speaker 1>be Darby Allen defending the aw World Championship yet again
<v Speaker 1>against Brodie King. This was one hell of a main event.
<v Speaker 1>This cleared the Osprey Mark Davis match from earlier in
<v Speaker 1>the night. Champa didn't need to bleed. But I think
<v Speaker 1>Champa looked at this and said, Okay, I'm wrestling for
<v Speaker 1>a world title here on TV. This may never happen again,
<v Speaker 1>Like I'm probably not going to be in this position,
<v Speaker 1>if if, either ever again or for a long time.
<v Speaker 1>And so I'm just gonna go out balls to the
<v Speaker 1>wall and I'm gonna bust out the blade and we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna we're gonna bleed. We're gonna get some color here
<v Speaker 1>in this match. And he got a lot of it.
<v Speaker 1>He got a lot of blood. Darby is gonna defend
<v Speaker 1>that title every week. This is what he's going to do.
<v Speaker 1>He's going to defend that championship next week and the
<v Speaker 1>week after that, and the week after that and the
<v Speaker 1>week after that. And what's gonna end up happening is
<v Speaker 1>he's going to burn himself out and he's going to
<v Speaker 1>lose the championship. I believe it double or nothing to
<v Speaker 1>MJF in New York. That is how this is going
<v Speaker 1>to be play out. I mentioned earlier when Darby was
<v Speaker 1>TNT champion. I'm pretty sure it was the second time,
<v Speaker 1>not the first time. He didn't have the belt for
<v Speaker 1>very long, but he was defending it weekly against different
<v Speaker 1>challengers until ultimately he lost a championship. And if this
<v Speaker 1>is what they're gonna do with him, then I mean,
<v Speaker 1>that's fine. It's nice to have some title defenses on TV.
<v Speaker 1>I would not want it to get to a point,
<v Speaker 1>though they have to be very careful. I don't want
<v Speaker 1>it to get to a point where he's defending the
<v Speaker 1>title against people that are even beneath like Champa and
<v Speaker 1>Brody King, just because well, I'm a fighting champion and
<v Speaker 1>so as he said, everybody in the back deserves a
<v Speaker 1>shot at the championship, No they don't. And if you
<v Speaker 1>want to do an open challenge gimmick with the TNT title,
<v Speaker 1>if you want to do an open challenge gimmick with
<v Speaker 1>any of the other you know, half a dozen championships
<v Speaker 1>that they have in this company, then fine, you know,
<v Speaker 1>knock yourself out. You shouldn't be doing that with your
<v Speaker 1>world title, though, but they have plenty of people that
<v Speaker 1>you could argue would be in line to contend for
<v Speaker 1>the title, because the world title scene in this company
<v Speaker 1>right now is very robust in a way that it
<v Speaker 1>hasn't been maybe ever. It's one of the advantages that
<v Speaker 1>AW has right now that even WWE doesn't have. There
<v Speaker 1>aren't as many obvious potential challengers at this very moment
<v Speaker 1>on either show on the WWE and that are like, Okay, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this person should be contending for the world title, or
<v Speaker 1>this person's in line, this person's number three, number four,
<v Speaker 1>and number five, and in AW. The core strength of
<v Speaker 1>these recent shows, really since MJF won the belt has
<v Speaker 1>been men. Look at all these potential people that are
<v Speaker 1>lined up to challenge for that title. This title, man
<v Speaker 1>seems like the most important thing in the world right now,
<v Speaker 1>and it should always be that way. But if Darby's
<v Speaker 1>going to go out there and start putting the title
<v Speaker 1>on the line against them me and again I put
<v Speaker 1>them over before for but fucking Leo Rush right or
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, one of the outrunners, then we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have a problem here. So no, not everybody deserves a
<v Speaker 1>shot at the world title. Hopefully hopefully they don't go
<v Speaker 1>in that direction. I thought it was a strong show
<v Speaker 1>this week. I enjoyed, you know, a lot more than
<v Speaker 1>I didn't. Two killer matches, and I thought the main
<v Speaker 1>event was great. The Osprey match with Davis was excellent.
<v Speaker 1>Leo Rush getting some Dynamite time for the wacky gimmick,
<v Speaker 1>and it's good to have some Oa Joe back. So
<v Speaker 1>that's my thoughts on Dynamite this week. Switch over to
<v Speaker 1>the super chats here again. I can no longer log
<v Speaker 1>into X within obs and so for the time being,
<v Speaker 1>no more X poles. I could put a pole up
<v Speaker 1>in the live chat, though, but I can't. Even if
<v Speaker 1>I post an X poll, I can't show it in here,
<v Speaker 1>So I don't even bother with them now. Whatever it is,
<v Speaker 1>what it is? No title shot for Gollum, Yes, no,
<v Speaker 1>no title shot for Gollum. That's right, Oh, Tony Kahan,
<v Speaker 1>here's that. Let's take a look at your super chat. Say,
<v Speaker 1>Joseph Stewart is with us on a Wednesday night, can
<v Speaker 1>we shut down X for good? I wish a lot
<v Speaker 1>of people say that and then they continue to use
<v Speaker 1>it and lurk on there, even if it's not just
<v Speaker 1>for business purposes or promotional purposes because it's addictive. But
<v Speaker 1>if somebody just sort of blew it up, you know,
<v Speaker 1>if they took the initiative and not literally, but like,
<v Speaker 1>I think that would solve a lot of problems, specially
<v Speaker 1>in the wrestling realm. Joseph says, did you see the
<v Speaker 1>Clayface trailer online? I did. I saw it a couple
<v Speaker 1>of hours ago, and it's like the biggest revelation for
<v Speaker 1>me so far this year. I didn't even know they
<v Speaker 1>were making a Clayface movie. This is the first I'm
<v Speaker 1>even hearing about it, and I wasn't sure what it
<v Speaker 1>was at first. I just started playing the video. It's
<v Speaker 1>like it's a teaser trailer. It's like a minute long.
<v Speaker 1>It's not coming out until October. I think October twenty third.
<v Speaker 1>But I was drawn in by the opening shot of
<v Speaker 1>the guy with the bandagege on his face and he
<v Speaker 1>looked all fucked up. And I started watching it and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, man, this is this is horror. This is
<v Speaker 1>not like a comic book movie. This is dark horror
<v Speaker 1>is what this is. And it's rare that you get
<v Speaker 1>like a comic book movie or a comic villain where
<v Speaker 1>they're actually doing. I'm pretty sure it's a rated R
<v Speaker 1>and it really came Across, and it's coming out in
<v Speaker 1>October no less, a week before Halloween. Like it's just
<v Speaker 1>perfect timing. So it's like body horror. So I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>forward to it. I was never like a huge Clayface guy,
<v Speaker 1>but man, this thing looks sick. I'm definitely going to
<v Speaker 1>be seeing that. Have you seen the trailer today for
<v Speaker 1>Coyote Versus Acme? It looks like John Cena is going
<v Speaker 1>to be the villain in the movie. Yes, after I
<v Speaker 1>saw the clay Face one, I saw a link to
<v Speaker 1>the Coyote Versus Acme, which was never even supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be released. Remember, David Zaslov wasn't going to release it.
<v Speaker 1>They were going to take a tax right off on it,
<v Speaker 1>and it was either going to be locked away in
<v Speaker 1>a vault or destroyed never to be seen. Imagine working
<v Speaker 1>on a movie for months on end and then oh,
<v Speaker 1>we're not even going to release it. No one's ever
<v Speaker 1>going to see it. I'm glad it's finally coming out. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>comes across as the main villain in the movie. I
<v Speaker 1>think he's the like evil boss of the the Acme Corporation.
<v Speaker 1>Do you remember when Eric Bischoff had Rick Flair arrested
<v Speaker 1>on Nitro? I remember a lot of the Flair and
<v Speaker 1>Bischoff stuff. I don't remember him being arrested though. No.
<v Speaker 1>Do you remember on Nitro where Vince Russo, David Flair,
<v Speaker 1>and Daphne took a tour in Rick Flair's house. Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>Flair was part of it as well, a young Charlotte Flair. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I do remember that. I do remember that. Happy Birthday
<v Speaker 1>to Jack Nicholson. How old is Jack's gotta be over
<v Speaker 1>eighty by now? And Happy twenty fifth anniversary to the
<v Speaker 1>movie Shrek. It was released on this day in two
<v Speaker 1>thousand and one. What are your thoughts on Roddy Piper's
<v Speaker 1>WCW run. I think he had a good run, Not
<v Speaker 1>as really as much of a fan of his work
<v Speaker 1>there as I was in WWE. Same thing with Randy Savage.
<v Speaker 1>He had a really good run there, but I just
<v Speaker 1>wasn't as much of a fan of it as I
<v Speaker 1>was his WWF work. Did you see the trailer too
<v Speaker 1>Practical Magic two with Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock? And
<v Speaker 1>have you seen the first one? I have not seen
<v Speaker 1>the first one. I don't even know. I guess it's
<v Speaker 1>about magic. I couldn't tell you anything about it because
<v Speaker 1>I never saw it. You know what, The coyote versus
<v Speaker 1>Acme thing reminds me of Who Framed Roger Rabbit because
<v Speaker 1>you have a mix of live action and animated and
<v Speaker 1>they're sort of blending them together in the same world.
<v Speaker 1>That's like the exact vibe I out watching that trailer
<v Speaker 1>who Framed Roger Rabbit. I don't think it'll be as
<v Speaker 1>good as Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but that's the vibe.
<v Speaker 1>I god. Anyway, Joseph, thank you very much for the support.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate it. The Shoulder Demon, will you be doing
<v Speaker 1>a sound off review of Mortal Kombat too? I may
<v Speaker 1>do a short maybe after I see it. Maybe I'll
<v Speaker 1>do like a short and uploaded to YouTube. I am
<v Speaker 1>planning on seeing it. My movie list has grown even
<v Speaker 1>longer after today. I think I had like seven movies
<v Speaker 1>on there. Now I have like nine. And movies are
<v Speaker 1>expensive to go see. It'll be spending some money this year.
<v Speaker 1>Javeli is with us. Javeli, it's good to hit have
<v Speaker 1>you on this channel for a change. Don't be a stranger, says,
<v Speaker 1>have you seen Brodie Lee Junior's match against Joey Janello?
<v Speaker 1>Will you'd be doing a review on the Hogan doc
<v Speaker 1>Buy Sell Rent on the best tag team match in
<v Speaker 1>aw Young Bucks versus Omega and Page, Young Bucks against
<v Speaker 1>Luca Brothers or FTR against Bullet Club Gold. Hey, those
<v Speaker 1>are all great matches. Jack is eighty nine, eighty nine
<v Speaker 1>years old, Wow, and still going to Lakers games all
<v Speaker 1>bet right, probably sitting in the front row. Me personally,
<v Speaker 1>I think I would probably go with the cage match.
<v Speaker 1>It's all out, I believe, right between the Luca Bros.
<v Speaker 1>And the Bucks. But it's probably between that one and
<v Speaker 1>the Revolution twenty twenty match. Although the FTR Bullet Club
<v Speaker 1>matches on collision. Both of them, there were two of them,
<v Speaker 1>were standing the Hogan docuseries. I'm going to try to watch.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to try to watch all of it, even
<v Speaker 1>before this weekend, but whenever I get done with it, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I am planning on checking it out. And the Brodie
<v Speaker 1>Lee Junior match, I did not see the full match.
<v Speaker 1>I have seen clips and highlights and apparently from what
<v Speaker 1>I've seen, and I'm not surprised how advanced he is
<v Speaker 1>for someone his age because he's very young. But he's
<v Speaker 1>been training with Naddy and TJ in the Dungeon. Every
<v Speaker 1>time Naddy puts out a new photo from like the
<v Speaker 1>latest Dungeon training session, and there's a bunch of wrestlers there,
<v Speaker 1>there's a bunch of WWE faces. Fucking Tatanka is there,
<v Speaker 1>Tatanka's kids are there, and there's Brody Junior, there's Negative One.
<v Speaker 1>So he's learning from the best and he seems to
<v Speaker 1>be coming along very quickly. Also, if and when Cope
<v Speaker 1>and Christian win the aw two team titles, would it
<v Speaker 1>make up for Tony Kahan not putting the belts on
<v Speaker 1>the Hardies. It doesn't make up for anything. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Tony couldn't put the belts on the Hardies, you know,
<v Speaker 1>because Jeff Hardy messed that up. That's not Tony Khn's fault.
<v Speaker 1>So it doesn't really have anything to do with the Hardies.
<v Speaker 1>I just think he wants to make absolutely sure that
<v Speaker 1>this other legendary tag team that he happens to have
<v Speaker 1>under contract working for him right now, has the opportunity
<v Speaker 1>to hold his tag team belts. Griga says Ola Solo
<v Speaker 1>Ola Buenos d Buenos Senor Jeremy Rose. Do you think
<v Speaker 1>we could get MJF and Bobby Lashley at Wembley Stadium
<v Speaker 1>if he is not in a world title match? If not,
<v Speaker 1>how about mjf's Swerve number one contender for the shot
<v Speaker 1>at all out? I think the MJF Lashley thing that
<v Speaker 1>ship has sailed that was a very weird thing. How
<v Speaker 1>that just kind of ended. I'm sure there's some political
<v Speaker 1>reason for it. Maybe one day we'll find out what
<v Speaker 1>the answer is to that question, because boy did they
<v Speaker 1>shut that shit down quickly between MJF and the Hurt Syndicate,
<v Speaker 1>and we never really got any sort of resolution to it.
<v Speaker 1>Much more likely, if anything, we get MJF and Swerve,
<v Speaker 1>not MJF and Bobby Lashley. But yeah, I could see
<v Speaker 1>that being a match combat theater. How was uncrowned? Studios?
<v Speaker 1>Also watch Batman twenty twenty two. I actually have a
<v Speaker 1>note in my phone I am going now I say
<v Speaker 1>this now. Of course, it's my one night off that
<v Speaker 1>I usually have during the week is Thursday. I am
<v Speaker 1>going to attempt I hate to even say this because
<v Speaker 1>I'll probably end up watching something else, but I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to attempt to watch The Batman tomorrow for the first time.
<v Speaker 1>I know it's a long movie, so I have to
<v Speaker 1>carve out three hours to watch this thing. I just
<v Speaker 1>never got to it, so I'm going to attempt to
<v Speaker 1>watch it tomorrow. I will keep you posting as far
<v Speaker 1>as Uncrowned studios. Yes, I had a very eventful day
<v Speaker 1>today because I got to meet the entire Uncrowned team.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, I've been doing the Uncrowned Wrestling show since
<v Speaker 1>February and we're already in the double digits of episodes.
<v Speaker 1>So I got to meet with Ariel Helwani today and
<v Speaker 1>all the great team members that he has over there
<v Speaker 1>at Uncrowned. They got to show me around. I got
<v Speaker 1>to see the studio. You guys probably saw what I
<v Speaker 1>posted on social media, so I got to sit in
<v Speaker 1>in the control room. I'm gonna talk more about the
<v Speaker 1>Rick Flair interview on the SoundOff. We'll save that for
<v Speaker 1>the SoundOff on Sunday. But of all the days for
<v Speaker 1>me to show up and hey, I'm going to sit
<v Speaker 1>in the control room here for part of the show today,
<v Speaker 1>and Rick Flair happens to be on the show. And
<v Speaker 1>if you saw that interview today because I saw all
<v Speaker 1>of it in real time. Holy shit, what did I
<v Speaker 1>pick a day to show up at the studios? That'd
<v Speaker 1>be fun to talk about on Sunday. But shout out
<v Speaker 1>to Ariel and Eric and Connor and Frank and everybody
<v Speaker 1>over there putting the work in every day and all
<v Speaker 1>those shows and my show, they're great. It was very cool.
<v Speaker 1>Food Hive says, nine days, nine days, Never forget what's
<v Speaker 1>going on? Yeah, what's going on? Food Hive says, what
<v Speaker 1>was for dinner? What was for dinner too? That's a
<v Speaker 1>good question. What was for dinner? Chicken, marinated chicken, and
<v Speaker 1>the uh crescent round not crescent rolls. They have crescent rounds.
<v Speaker 1>So I had some of those and that was it.
<v Speaker 1>Very simple. The co ninety two. Hold on a second,
<v Speaker 1>let's keep this in order, Alex says, brother solo, are
<v Speaker 1>you planning on going live for the Saturday Nights Made
<v Speaker 1>Event and Double or Nothing pay per view on that
<v Speaker 1>busy weekend. I'll be live for Saturday Nights Made Event
<v Speaker 1>most likely Double or Nothing is going to be a
<v Speaker 1>game time decision. I didn't go live for Dynasty. These
<v Speaker 1>pay per views they just they end way too late,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm already doing a lot of work that weekend.
<v Speaker 1>That weekend, in particular, if I review the Saturday night
<v Speaker 1>show I got the sound off on Sunday, I really
<v Speaker 1>don't feel like staying up until fucking twelve thirty and
<v Speaker 1>first starting and then reviewing the show, and it's just
<v Speaker 1>it's a lot double or nothing is it's fifty to fifty.
<v Speaker 1>I went live for Revolution and it just was like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, it felt kind of dead. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>what am I doing this for? You know, like what
<v Speaker 1>am I? What am I? What am I doing? What
<v Speaker 1>am I doing? If enough people want it, I'll do it.
<v Speaker 1>But I didn't get the sense that people were overly excited.
<v Speaker 1>LC five seven eighty six says MJF probably going to
<v Speaker 1>win the TNT title to make it a title versus
<v Speaker 1>title match at double or nothing, because Darby said that
<v Speaker 1>no rematch unless MJF puts something. Oh okay, you know
<v Speaker 1>that's a good point. That is a good point. I
<v Speaker 1>don't like it. I don't like that idea. What the
<v Speaker 1>hell does he need to what do you need the
<v Speaker 1>TNT title involved in this? For so the and the
<v Speaker 1>m JF wins he's got two titles, but now he
<v Speaker 1>has to drop the TNT title. What the hell is
<v Speaker 1>the point of that. I think you may be onto something, though.
<v Speaker 1>Food Hives is what happened to sound Off TV and
<v Speaker 1>movie reviews. I still remember You're Walking Dead one with
<v Speaker 1>on Rick Grimes. You've done a few here and there,
<v Speaker 1>and your reviews are entertaining, and I think you'll thrive.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't seen that many movies recently. Actually, that's not true.
<v Speaker 1>This year I saw Send Help, the Sam Raimi movie.
<v Speaker 1>I saw Scream seven, which I did review. I did,
<v Speaker 1>just didn't do a separate video on it, but I did.
<v Speaker 1>I did talk about it on the SoundOff. And I
<v Speaker 1>saw The Rip on Netflix with Ben Affleck and Matt Damian,
<v Speaker 1>which was very good. Yeah, I just I do them
<v Speaker 1>from time to time. It's not like a regular thing.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm seeing so many movies this year. I'm gonna try.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna try to review them, even if it's like
<v Speaker 1>a short and not like a full blown thing. I'll try.
<v Speaker 1>I'll I'll try to make the effort. If people are interested,
<v Speaker 1>you know, change up the contents a little bit, then
<v Speaker 1>maybe that's what we'll do. And the co ninety two.
<v Speaker 1>Could you see Tony Khan do a aw and r
<v Speaker 1>OH pay per view during WrestleMania weekend next year? No,
<v Speaker 1>what Tony Khan should do, and I would be very
<v Speaker 1>surprised if he's not already thinking about it. And if
<v Speaker 1>he's not, he should. Tony Khan has the chance to
<v Speaker 1>play wrestling hero next year, because I think that he
<v Speaker 1>should take the kind of take the leadership roll here
<v Speaker 1>and get the ball rolling down the hill and help
<v Speaker 1>organize and work with other promoters, whether it's and I
<v Speaker 1>don't just mean wrestling promotions themselves, but even like conventions
<v Speaker 1>like wrestle Khan, I think that they should all coordinate
<v Speaker 1>and have like a big delebration of wrestling, either the
<v Speaker 1>week of WrestleMania, not that weekend, so maybe the weekend before.
<v Speaker 1>I would not run opposite wrestle like shows opposite WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>That would be very stupid, but I think around that
<v Speaker 1>time period, you pick a city. I've suggested New Orleans
<v Speaker 1>because New Orleans is the one that got the shaft
<v Speaker 1>this year, but it could be it could be any
<v Speaker 1>number of places. It should be a destination city of
<v Speaker 1>some type and organize like a wrestling festival of some
<v Speaker 1>kind and he could help spearhead it. So like they're
<v Speaker 1>sort of the overseer. They're the ones responsible for it,
<v Speaker 1>but he brings people together or these promotions they all
<v Speaker 1>piggyback off of it on their own and they run
<v Speaker 1>events in the same city and basically what you see
<v Speaker 1>for WrestleMania every year, but it's it's kind of around
<v Speaker 1>the aw show as opposed to WrestleMania. I absolutely, one
<v Speaker 1>hundred percent think that he should organize something like that,
<v Speaker 1>or even if he himself is not organizing anything formal,
<v Speaker 1>but yes, run some sort of event with the idea
<v Speaker 1>that you're going to allow these other events to piggyback
<v Speaker 1>off of it, and you just create this period this
<v Speaker 1>week where you have all of these different wrestling events
<v Speaker 1>going on. I don't know why you wouldn't do that.
<v Speaker 1>More says you should consider going to double or nothing
<v Speaker 1>in person instead, should I? Why should I do that?
<v Speaker 1>Then I won't get home until three o'clock in the morning.
<v Speaker 1>You know how hard it's going to be for me
<v Speaker 1>to come home from Queens because I ain't driving in
<v Speaker 1>I gotta get on the fucking seven train to go
<v Speaker 1>into the city. To come back this way. Yeah, he's
<v Speaker 1>sticking his tonge whys Ah like, what the fuck? Yeah
<v Speaker 1>he's sticking his toe? Why was Ah like? What the
<v Speaker 1>Fuckjavili is back? I thought about it. Though I thought
<v Speaker 1>about it. I won't rule it out completely, but probably
<v Speaker 1>probably not gonna happen. I have a lot of work
<v Speaker 1>to do that weekend as it is. If I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>be live the night before and then do a sound
<v Speaker 1>off the next day, I'm not saying it's impossible, you know,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't know. I don't know. We'll see. Let's
<v Speaker 1>see here before we get to Javili. Heavili, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>get to you here in a second. E j slam
<v Speaker 1>your Mets won tonight. I agree, Hogan was never a
<v Speaker 1>true babyface, but Brett was never a real heel, and
<v Speaker 1>I love Brett more than Kojima loves bread. Brett was
<v Speaker 1>never a real heel in ninety seven. He wasn't. There
<v Speaker 1>were no lies in anything that he said. The American
<v Speaker 1>wrestling fans deserved everything that that man said to them.
<v Speaker 1>I agree. We have Arabian night refreshing to get matches
<v Speaker 1>where they are longer than six minutes. Darby and Shampa
<v Speaker 1>went longer than ninety percent of WrestleMania matches. Aw truly
<v Speaker 1>where we see wrestling be given time. Gargano watched this
<v Speaker 1>and is counting down the days, and Javili with the thirteen.
<v Speaker 1>If they didn't do Hogan Andre a moment in the
<v Speaker 1>WWE Hall of Fame, would they have done Sean versus
<v Speaker 1>Brett or Savage versus Steamboat If they weren't going to
<v Speaker 1>do Hogan and Andre this year, I think they should
<v Speaker 1>have done Seawan and Taker from WrestleMania twenty five. Then
<v Speaker 1>you can actually physically get them both there for the ceremony.
<v Speaker 1>Favorite WrestleMania ending with number two eighty six? Wait, favorite
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania ending. That's a weird question. Favorite WrestleMania ending with
<v Speaker 1>the number two eighty six, ninety six or six? So
<v Speaker 1>that would be WrestleMania two, WrestleMania twelve, or WrestleMania twenty two,
<v Speaker 1>favorite ending of those three, I mean it would have
<v Speaker 1>to be ninety six. Yeah, I would go ninety six.
<v Speaker 1>When do you expect a phone call from WWE for
<v Speaker 1>Zelopha two. It will come. It will come at some point.
<v Speaker 1>The commissioner will get that phone call at some point,
<v Speaker 1>and we'll have that conversation. And when we do, I
<v Speaker 1>will not tell you about that conversation. That will be
<v Speaker 1>a privileged conversation. A Staliano. Did you see the whole
<v Speaker 1>Cogan documentary? If so, what did you think I do?
<v Speaker 1>It just came out today, although I did see half
<v Speaker 1>of it during WrestleMania, and the portion of it that
<v Speaker 1>I saw wasn't anything special. But no, I have not
<v Speaker 1>watched it. It just came out today. I was gone all day.
<v Speaker 1>I was over at Uncrowned Studios. I only got home
<v Speaker 1>in time to have my marinated chicken and get ready
<v Speaker 1>for Dynamite. I didn't have time for anything else today,
<v Speaker 1>so I'm going to try to get it taken care
<v Speaker 1>of before the sound off this weekend. But yes, I
<v Speaker 1>will watch it. I have not yet watched it. I
<v Speaker 1>need time to sit down and watch it. Anyway. The
<v Speaker 1>Gold to the Night was four to seventy five. We
<v Speaker 1>fell just short, typical for a Dynamite stream, but it
<v Speaker 1>is what it is. We will have to try again
<v Speaker 1>on Friday see if we can do some Be the
<v Speaker 1>booker and in the meantime, go ahead and hit that
<v Speaker 1>like button if you have not already done, so go
<v Speaker 1>back and check out the WrestleMania reviews also, or at
<v Speaker 1>least skip around to the parts you want. Over one
<v Speaker 1>hundred and twenty five thousand views and counting between both
<v Speaker 1>nights of WrestleMania, So thank you for joining me for
<v Speaker 1>all of that coverage. We had a very big weekend.
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy Rose, do you think we ever get Punk MJF
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania? No, when and if MJF does eventually go
<v Speaker 1>to WWE. By that point, I don't think Punk is
<v Speaker 1>going to be active anymore, which is to say, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think we're going to see MJF and WWE for
<v Speaker 1>quite a while yet. I mean, look, I think that'd
<v Speaker 1>be a great WrestleMania match, but I'm gonna I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>say no on that. I don't think we get it,
<v Speaker 1>all right, Be well, stay safe. Oh check out the
<v Speaker 1>Uncrowned Wrestling show from yesterday. Didn't just talk WrestleMania and
<v Speaker 1>Raw on there. We also talked about the WWE Hall
<v Speaker 1>of Fame, which I did not get a chance to
<v Speaker 1>cover on the sound off because there is no sounduff
<v Speaker 1>from this past weekend. So I talked about the Hall
<v Speaker 1>of Fame very mixed feelings. You'll see what I mean
<v Speaker 1>when you listen to the show, and also talked about
<v Speaker 1>the Josh Barnett story, him shuddering, blood sport, a couple
<v Speaker 1>of other things as well. So go ahead and check
<v Speaker 1>out the Uncrowned Wrestling Show retro koh. If there was
<v Speaker 1>a WWE RPG game, which wrestler would you want to
<v Speaker 1>play as? And why? Which wrestler would I want to
<v Speaker 1>play as? Macho Man Randy Savage? Because he's macho man
<v Speaker 1>Randy Savage. I don't need to I don't need to
<v Speaker 1>say anything more than that, he's the total package as
<v Speaker 1>far as pro wrestlers go. And Alex says, how many
<v Speaker 1>backflips can you do without passing out? It's not a
<v Speaker 1>matter of passing out, it's a matter of not, you know,
<v Speaker 1>breaking my neck on the way down. Elsie says, you
<v Speaker 1>mentioned Roger Rabbit. Correct me if I'm wrong. But Bonkers
<v Speaker 1>also had a world where tunes and humans coexist? Did
<v Speaker 1>you ever watch that one? But no, I used to
<v Speaker 1>eat Bonkers. Bonkers was a great candy when I was
<v Speaker 1>a kid. I don't know if it exists anymore, but
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember watching Bonkers and Thomas says, we love
<v Speaker 1>you solo, thank you. Apparently you love me enough to
<v Speaker 1>where we just hit the goal after all, to be
<v Speaker 1>the booker. How about that talk about a buzzer beater. Well,
<v Speaker 1>on that note, I guess then it's time to be
<v Speaker 1>the booker. I didn't think we were going to be
<v Speaker 1>doing this tonight, but here we are. But you guys
<v Speaker 1>have a flair for the dramatic, don't you. All right,
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna kick things off here with Batista and Ramus Stereo.
<v Speaker 1>They remember they were a tag team at one point,
<v Speaker 1>they were tag team champions at one You were supposed
<v Speaker 1>to be my friend. You were supposed to be my friend. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know Dave was Southern. You were supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be my friend. But he's the and Ray Mysterio against
<v Speaker 1>Jurassic Express, Jack Perry and Lucasurres a very very uh
<v Speaker 1>very good tag team match. Got some star power there
<v Speaker 1>in that match. Why didn't Stone Cold make an appearance
<v Speaker 1>on WrestleMania if he was back to do what? Why
<v Speaker 1>would Austin be on this year? As WrestleMania they barely
<v Speaker 1>had any wrestling on the show. It was commercial mania.
<v Speaker 1>John Cena was already hosting. The most he could have
<v Speaker 1>done was come out on Night two and toast with
<v Speaker 1>John Cena. He didn't miss much. I don't think Austin
<v Speaker 1>was interested in sticking around. We have Miss Jackie Jacqueline
<v Speaker 1>in the WWE Hall of Fame. Jacqueline is with us.
<v Speaker 1>We picked her a few weeks ago. Jacqueline, let's give
<v Speaker 1>her a drum roll. Jackie deserves a drum roll. Oh, Becky,
<v Speaker 1>two belts? We got Becky Lynch and Miss Jackie? Are
<v Speaker 1>we actually going to end up with a sweep when
<v Speaker 1>we weren't even going to do? Be the booker? Are
<v Speaker 1>we going to get an unexpected sweep here tonight? Is
<v Speaker 1>this where we're trending? Moose? There he is? Now we
<v Speaker 1>find out who his opponent is going to be Moose,
<v Speaker 1>former TNA champion in the main event against someone who
<v Speaker 1>is from a part of the world where they have
<v Speaker 1>a lot of moose. Is it Moose or Mooses? What
<v Speaker 1>would the plural be of moose? I don't know, but
<v Speaker 1>I got to give it the bell. What would the
<v Speaker 1>plural of moose be? Would it still be moose? Wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>be Mooses? That doesn't that doesn't sound right? To me,
<v Speaker 1>we got to clean sweep everybody, so you should all
<v Speaker 1>be very happy. I'll be very proud of yourselves. Bretteart
<v Speaker 1>and moose a very Canadian main event. Moose is plural.
<v Speaker 1>Well then if it's plural, then what's the singular? Huh,
<v Speaker 1>smart guy, it can't be the same word. Mease, it's
<v Speaker 1>not me. Mease who said that to Wab said that
<v Speaker 1>more than one moose is plural? Yes, but what is
<v Speaker 1>the singular? Then there is no plural for moose. It's
<v Speaker 1>just moose. Well that's stupid. I think that needs to
<v Speaker 1>change anyway. Can be ranting on this now. Chicago for
<v Speaker 1>MBK says ha ha got to be the booker. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>and you got a clean sweep too, so congrats. Let's
<v Speaker 1>try that again on Friday. Let's see if we could
<v Speaker 1>start our new streak. We were doing really well and
<v Speaker 1>then the streak was broken on Monday night. So I
<v Speaker 1>want to start a new streak where we have multiple
<v Speaker 1>clean sweeps. Lonely, lonely moose, it's just moose. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>having this discussion anymore. Be well, stay safe. If you
<v Speaker 1>want to enjoy some dessert before you go to bed,
<v Speaker 1>you can have some Moose, and then come on back
<v Speaker 1>here for the SmackDown post show on Friday. Now gonna
<v Speaker 1>be a big SmackDown. I don't usually look forward to
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown because SmackDown is an awful, horrendous television show. However,
<v Speaker 1>this is the post WrestleMania SmackDown, which means there's going
<v Speaker 1>to be some moves, not Moose. We're gonna get some
<v Speaker 1>new faces on the show. We talked about that in
<v Speaker 1>the Raw post show on Monday night. You can go
<v Speaker 1>back and check in on that discussion. Who I think
<v Speaker 1>is very likely going to move over or be called
<v Speaker 1>up and end up on the SmackDown roster. So I
<v Speaker 1>want to see who moves over, but also what they
<v Speaker 1>do with Cody Rhodes, because his eye is all kinds
<v Speaker 1>of fucked up, and I don't know if it's bad
<v Speaker 1>enough that he's going to be forced to vacate the title,
<v Speaker 1>but there's some question about whether or not he's going
<v Speaker 1>to be able to wrestle anytime soon. So we'll hopefully
<v Speaker 1>get some answers on the Cody situation on Friday. Join
<v Speaker 1>me for that and until then, have yourselves a great
<v Speaker 1>rest of your week. Retro gets the last word, It's
<v Speaker 1>just me. Moose Day one ish, I'll see you on Friday.
