<v Speaker 1>Jerry Katy and Josh six one hundred Off the ear.
<v Speaker 2>You were telling me something about your daughter and how
<v Speaker 2>she's mad at you, and I was like, well, ho ho,
<v Speaker 2>hold on, don't tell me now, I know, just tell
<v Speaker 2>me on the air what was going on. So, what's
<v Speaker 2>the deal with baby Nana this time?
<v Speaker 3>Well, because I am trying to be an adult and
<v Speaker 3>book a therapy session, right, Like, I'm I'm really trying
<v Speaker 3>to be an adult over here. So I was looking
<v Speaker 3>into our insurance and it's I was on the phone
<v Speaker 3>with our insurance company for forever, just trying to figure
<v Speaker 3>out what is covered with my benefits. Right, So I
<v Speaker 3>found out that deductibles are a dumb thing. I like,
<v Speaker 3>just me adulting over here, like uh, it just like
<v Speaker 3>what it did is it got me so worked up
<v Speaker 3>because there are a lot of things I need to
<v Speaker 3>do to even get in front of a therapist, which
<v Speaker 3>I think is stupid, Like why am I even paying
<v Speaker 3>for insurance? It just it got me going. So then
<v Speaker 3>I was just thinking, I was like, listen, I know
<v Speaker 3>all the gen z and you know, even younger millennials.
<v Speaker 3>They I will just ask chat GPT to help them
<v Speaker 3>with their problems and I was like, you know, that's
<v Speaker 3>free ninety nine. I'm all about back. So I just
<v Speaker 3>started asking the robot the things I would ask a therapist, right,
<v Speaker 3>And so I'm sitting there on chat GPT and I'm
<v Speaker 3>just entering in things that I've already got locked and
<v Speaker 3>loaded for a therapy session.
<v Speaker 2>Oh Chat, why do I cry so much? And it
<v Speaker 2>gave me, but.
<v Speaker 3>It gave me some really, really good stuff, and so
<v Speaker 3>I thought I was super smart. I'm over here saving money,
<v Speaker 3>I'm getting advice. I'm trying to better myself. And so
<v Speaker 3>when the baby Nana called me and we're catching up
<v Speaker 3>with our days, right, we're catching up with each other,
<v Speaker 3>I told her it's like, you'll never guess what I did.
<v Speaker 3>I actually asked the robots for something, and they gave
<v Speaker 3>me some pretty solid advice. So I told her the
<v Speaker 3>story and she immediately was like, mom, No, you can't
<v Speaker 3>do that. You can't ask the robots for advice when
<v Speaker 3>it comes to therapy because they're always going to agree
<v Speaker 3>with you. They're never gonna give you the straight up
<v Speaker 3>advice you need because they want you to be in
<v Speaker 3>their favor, right, Like you don't know that they do.
<v Speaker 1>They always positive reinforcement. There's a video that went viral
<v Speaker 1>yesterday that got millions of views where this guy he
<v Speaker 1>goes on and asks chat GPT says, hey, what's going
<v Speaker 1>on with my face here? I put it into a
<v Speaker 1>filter and it makes me look really ugly. Chat GPT
<v Speaker 1>immediately went, yes, you know what, it does make you
<v Speaker 1>look rather silly, blah blah blah. And then he goes
<v Speaker 1>on and goes, you know what, I actually wasn't using
<v Speaker 1>a filter, that's just my face, and chat GBT goes
<v Speaker 1>on and goes, oh, well, you know what, the shadow
<v Speaker 1>and the lighting, the lighting was kind of bad, so
<v Speaker 1>your face actually looks great. And the guy gets so
<v Speaker 1>sad because he's like, it just destroyed me basically. So
<v Speaker 1>it always gives you that positive reinforcement and it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>necessarily maybe give you the things that you need to do.
<v Speaker 2>Kind of questions.
<v Speaker 3>Really Okay, So here's the thing is, I have a
<v Speaker 3>possible trip coming up where I'm gonna have to see
<v Speaker 3>members of my family and it just kind of gets
<v Speaker 3>a little dicey around, like for me, I hold verything
<v Speaker 3>in until I don't and then it boom, right, And
<v Speaker 3>so that's kind of it with my family too, and
<v Speaker 3>so I was telling chat GPT, like, how do I
<v Speaker 3>go about it this time so that doesn't happen, and
<v Speaker 3>it it actually gave me a lot of good advice
<v Speaker 3>as far as you know, it's not that I'm just
<v Speaker 3>blowing up and getting angry. It's a normal reaction. It's
<v Speaker 3>just I'm not addressing it the right way. Like when
<v Speaker 3>I get to a one or a two, I'm ignoring it,
<v Speaker 3>and then a three or four, I'm still ignoring it
<v Speaker 3>and trying to keep it in because I don't want
<v Speaker 3>to offend anybody. I think I'm complaining or whatever. And well,
<v Speaker 3>but that's the thing, is it said, there's a difference
<v Speaker 3>between complaining and communicating, Like so if you're communicating, that's
<v Speaker 3>just you communicating your feelings, so you don't get to
<v Speaker 3>a nine before you open your mouth. But still, but still,
<v Speaker 3>when I shut up and I don't say anything and
<v Speaker 3>then all of a sudden something literal setting me off,
<v Speaker 3>that's kind of what they were giving me advice towards.
<v Speaker 3>And also something I screenshotted something they said because I
<v Speaker 3>was like, I'm gonna use that. They said, your feelings
<v Speaker 3>are always valid, it's your behavior that's not a robot.
<v Speaker 2>Told me that's a pretty solid. Yeah, that's really solid.
<v Speaker 2>That's like the hole. Leave it at the door before
<v Speaker 2>you come in. I just leave it at the door in.
<v Speaker 3>Therapy fees just getting a robot for free.
<v Speaker 2>So I just this was good.
<v Speaker 3>As much as I agree with Little Baby Nana in
<v Speaker 3>that I probably shouldn't just write an essay to chat
<v Speaker 3>GPT every night about how I'm feeling, I think it
<v Speaker 3>was good for me to at least get what was
<v Speaker 3>off my chest going into a situation I'm uneasy about,
<v Speaker 3>right it.
<v Speaker 2>Really, it's just going to go search the entire web
<v Speaker 2>on advice to give you positive or negative. It's just
<v Speaker 2>going to take the information and regurgitate it to you.
<v Speaker 2>And I think that's fine with you to have it
<v Speaker 2>in a more positive light as it is presenting it
<v Speaker 2>to you. Yeah, I think that's good for you. I
<v Speaker 2>think so too.
<v Speaker 3>I honestly thought that it gave me me a good
<v Speaker 3>starting point at least. And not only that, but then
<v Speaker 3>you go back to the positive reinforcement because you know
<v Speaker 3>it kept because chat GBT will be like, you know,
<v Speaker 3>do you want me to give you some examples of
<v Speaker 3>what you can say? And blah blah. We get to
<v Speaker 3>that point and I was like, yeah, I think I'm good.
<v Speaker 3>I think I have a really good stance on how
<v Speaker 3>I'm gonna approach this, and its response was well, I
<v Speaker 3>just want to let you know that I'm proud of
<v Speaker 3>you for being so self aware that you know that
<v Speaker 3>this is a thing that you're you know that you're
<v Speaker 3>addressing something before it even happens, because that shows maturity,
<v Speaker 3>the fact that you know this is something that could
<v Speaker 3>happen before you even experience it. Like that is self
<v Speaker 3>awareness and you need to give yourself props for that.
<v Speaker 2>I'm just like, okay, Robot, let me too bad myself
<v Speaker 2>on the back, and then it was like, now can
<v Speaker 2>I suggest a playlist to cry to? And can I
<v Speaker 2>design T shirts for you with witty saying.
<v Speaker 3>Really looking out for me?
<v Speaker 1>I love it.
<v Speaker 3>A therapist could never thanks Chat
