<v Speaker 1>Today was Championship Wednesday on Dynamite. We had four title
<v Speaker 1>matches on this show. We had the AW World title,
<v Speaker 1>we had the AW Women's Tag team titles. We had
<v Speaker 1>the AW International Championship. Actually that's three championships. I said four.
<v Speaker 1>Did they have four? I don't know. We had tons
<v Speaker 1>of championship matches that were announced in advance of this show,
<v Speaker 1>and it felt like this was some sort of special episode,
<v Speaker 1>but they really just decided Tony did to load it
<v Speaker 1>up with a bunch of title matches. So that's what
<v Speaker 1>they did here tonight. No big title changes to talk
<v Speaker 1>about here, but we had Darby Allen putting his title
<v Speaker 1>on the line in the main event against Brody King,
<v Speaker 1>and these two have a history together. Usually it's not
<v Speaker 1>very kind to Darby. They get in the ring together,
<v Speaker 1>Darby gets his ass handed to him. Tonight was no different,
<v Speaker 1>nor was the outcome of Big Surprise. I've been saying
<v Speaker 1>this for a few weeks now, you know, ever since
<v Speaker 1>they put the belt on Darby to become pretty clear
<v Speaker 1>that he's going to be defending this championship every single
<v Speaker 1>week through the end of the month, through the end
<v Speaker 1>of May, until we get to double do nothing and
<v Speaker 1>then at that point he will lose the championship. One
<v Speaker 1>would think back to MJF. But until we get there,
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna have title defense after title defense after title defense,
<v Speaker 1>and that will play into the story. I'm sure when
<v Speaker 1>he ultimately loses the championship, because what is he doing.
<v Speaker 1>It's the Orange Cassidy story when Orange Cassidy was the
<v Speaker 1>International Champion and he was defending every week on TV
<v Speaker 1>and every body part right was just hurting him. And
<v Speaker 1>this man looked like he was eighty years old walking around, right,
<v Speaker 1>How long could this guy go defending this championship at
<v Speaker 1>this breakneck pace? But I think they're going to condense
<v Speaker 1>the story and basically tell the same story here with Darby,
<v Speaker 1>So that's what it looks like we're going to be getting.
<v Speaker 1>We did have a TNT Championship match at the beginning
<v Speaker 1>of the show with the Jet Kevin Knight putting his
<v Speaker 1>title on the line against MJF. Now, when we found
<v Speaker 1>out about this match last week, if you remember, Darby
<v Speaker 1>had made a comment he said, I'm not giving you
<v Speaker 1>a rematch. You want to rematch for the World Championship,
<v Speaker 1>You're gonna have to put something on the line, right,
<v Speaker 1>That's what he told Darby, And my first instinct was, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>they're putting the TNT title on MJF. And I have
<v Speaker 1>no idea why they would do this, because what does
<v Speaker 1>MJF realistically have to give Darby or to put up
<v Speaker 1>in a match with Darby that Darby would really give
<v Speaker 1>a shit about. Right, Darby doesn't care about the Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>Diamond ring, he doesn't care about the Birdberry scar if
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't care about the fancy cars. They're gonna put
<v Speaker 1>this TNT title on this fucking guy, and we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have a champion versus champion match at the pay per view,
<v Speaker 1>and I really hope that doesn't happen. Thankfully they didn't
<v Speaker 1>do that. That was the thing I was happiest with
<v Speaker 1>tonight is the fact that they did not put the
<v Speaker 1>TNT title ONF. I was glad that those fears were unfounded.
<v Speaker 1>But what we ended up with was a hell of
<v Speaker 1>an opening match and a hell of a closing match.
<v Speaker 1>They started and they ended in the best possible way,
<v Speaker 1>because you had two matches that delivered and we got
<v Speaker 1>some other stuff in between. That was kind of a
<v Speaker 1>mixed bag. But I was really impressed with that opening match.
<v Speaker 1>I was really impressed, honestly with the crowd tonight. Now,
<v Speaker 1>they also had Coping Christian on this show. Very rare
<v Speaker 1>that we see Adam Copeland and Christian Cage wrestling together
<v Speaker 1>on television. In fact, I can't remember the last time
<v Speaker 1>that they had a tag team match together on TV.
<v Speaker 1>So we had that as well. They had over fifty
<v Speaker 1>two hundred people in the building tonight. They were in Fairfax,
<v Speaker 1>Virginia for the show, and that sounded very high to me.
<v Speaker 1>You know, when you hear about these Dynamite crowds and
<v Speaker 1>the Dynamite attendants. So I jumped on wrestle ticks before.
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to see how many people were going to
<v Speaker 1>be in the because I'm watching this opening match and
<v Speaker 1>it's super fucking loud in there, and like the people
<v Speaker 1>are into it, and I'm like, Okay, I wonder how
<v Speaker 1>many people are there. Tonight's Dynamite crowd was their largest
<v Speaker 1>domestic attendance for a Dynamite since Grand Slam in September
<v Speaker 1>of twenty twenty four. It beat every domestic Dynamite that
<v Speaker 1>they did in attendance in all of twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 1>That's pretty crazy. And they were in Virginia, so they
<v Speaker 1>didn't even have Hangman there. You would think maybe, you know,
<v Speaker 1>they would be promoting his return or something on this show.
<v Speaker 1>He wasn't even on the show. But good for them,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, by aw standards in terms of Dynamite attendance,
<v Speaker 1>that's a fucking great number and you would hope that
<v Speaker 1>they would be able to build on that. But what
<v Speaker 1>it tells you is that they're doing something right now,
<v Speaker 1>something that they weren't doing six months ago, something that
<v Speaker 1>they weren't doing nine months ago or twelve months ago.
<v Speaker 1>So what is it? What is it that is eating
<v Speaker 1>to them seeing these increases in the houses from week
<v Speaker 1>to week right Something is resonating, something is clicking. They
<v Speaker 1>have a lot of issues still and that they're very
<v Speaker 1>much you know, it's an imperfect, you know product, but
<v Speaker 1>they're doing something that is at least keeping people tuned
<v Speaker 1>in and keeping people who are watching the show keeping
<v Speaker 1>their attention and saying, hey, you know what, I'm interested
<v Speaker 1>in this. I think it all goes back to the
<v Speaker 1>world title scene. This has been the case since MJF
<v Speaker 1>had won the championship. Back there was a clear focus
<v Speaker 1>around the aw World title in that main event scene,
<v Speaker 1>which was and still is very very strong. So now
<v Speaker 1>MJF doesn't have the belt, that's only temporary. Darby has
<v Speaker 1>the belt. But you got MJF, you got Darby. They're
<v Speaker 1>roping Kevin Knight into this. Kenny Omega had his shot
<v Speaker 1>at the championship. Brody King has had a couple of
<v Speaker 1>shots now at the championship this year. That should be
<v Speaker 1>his last for a while, and so on and so on.
<v Speaker 1>Right Swab Strickland wants the bell, Will Osprey wants the bell.
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley at some point he'll probably want to get
<v Speaker 1>the belt back. Everybody wants to be the champion and
<v Speaker 1>that's great because the title should be the focal point.
<v Speaker 1>The title should be the centerpiece of the show. And
<v Speaker 1>they have a very strong main events scene right now.
<v Speaker 1>I think that has a lot to do with this,
<v Speaker 1>you know, renewed interest in the product. So hopefully they
<v Speaker 1>will continue to build on this and keep the focus
<v Speaker 1>on the championship and continue to cycle in you know,
<v Speaker 1>new challengers as we go along here. But yeah, how
<v Speaker 1>about that biggest us A dynamite crowd in a very
<v Speaker 1>long time tonight, And kudos to that crowd too, because
<v Speaker 1>they were very loud and they were very energetic throughout
<v Speaker 1>the show. And in case you were wondering, completely off
<v Speaker 1>topic here has nothing to do with AW, but I
<v Speaker 1>did check in before I went live tonight. The Mets
<v Speaker 1>got crushed by the Nationals tonight fourteen to two. They
<v Speaker 1>have now lost sixteen of their last nineteen games. They
<v Speaker 1>own the worst record in all of Major League Baseball
<v Speaker 1>ten and twenty the worst record in Major League Baseball,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, on the largest payroll three hundred and
<v Speaker 1>thirty million dollars. I think I have the perfect sound
<v Speaker 1>effect for this. You suck. Welcome tier AW Dynamite review.
<v Speaker 1>It is Wednesday, the final Wednesday here for the month
<v Speaker 1>of April, a big, big month of April that we
<v Speaker 1>have had here on the channel. April twenty ninth, twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty six. Yes, it is. It is very brutal, it is.
<v Speaker 1>It is. Yes, I'm sorry. I'm sorry to have to
<v Speaker 1>be the bearer of bad news, but I saw that
<v Speaker 1>before I went live. I said, well, I have to.
<v Speaker 1>I have to share this bit of information anyway. Thank
<v Speaker 1>you for joining me here on a Wednesday night. Hit
<v Speaker 1>that subscribe button if you have not already done, so
<v Speaker 1>hit that like button as well. Super chats are open.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how many of them there will be tonight,
<v Speaker 1>but those of you who choose to support you demand
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate it very much and I'll read your messages
<v Speaker 1>here in just a little bit. For those of you
<v Speaker 1>who may have missed it, I also want to remind
<v Speaker 1>you because some people were asking me about it if
<v Speaker 1>I was going to do it on the sound Duff
<v Speaker 1>this past weekend. I did do it the other day,
<v Speaker 1>a review with my thoughts on the Hulk Hogan Netflix
<v Speaker 1>docu series. It is up right now here on this
<v Speaker 1>channel about thirty minutes or so. So if you want
<v Speaker 1>to go check that out, that was uploaded yesterday, So
<v Speaker 1>please go ahead and do so, leave some comments and
<v Speaker 1>let me know what you thought. If you watch the
<v Speaker 1>docu series. I'd be curious to get your feedback on
<v Speaker 1>that as well. Let's go ahead and spin the wheel
<v Speaker 1>here and see how many likes we need for be
<v Speaker 1>the booker tonight. Always very hit or miss on Wednesdays.
<v Speaker 1>Don't know if we're going to do it. Find out
<v Speaker 1>is that true. Virginia has only gotten a WWE event
<v Speaker 1>once since twenty twenty three. Maybe that's why it's hot.
<v Speaker 1>So your logic is that they're just starved for any
<v Speaker 1>rest lads possible, It's possible. I don't know what the
<v Speaker 1>independence scene is like there. It's a good question. Four
<v Speaker 1>hundred likes that's usually the standard here, so that's not
<v Speaker 1>too terrible. I still don't know that we're going to
<v Speaker 1>hit that, but if we have four hundred likes, we
<v Speaker 1>will do our be the booker segment a little bit
<v Speaker 1>later on. So there you go. I think we're right
<v Speaker 1>around two seventy ish right now, So again, four hundred
<v Speaker 1>is the goal. Let's get into this show. Here. Was
<v Speaker 1>good to see Taz back on commentary. He's been gone
<v Speaker 1>for a while and so now he was back tonight
<v Speaker 1>with ex Caliber and Tony Shiavanni, and they had plenty
<v Speaker 1>of title matches to choose from tonight. They chose to
<v Speaker 1>open with the TNT Championship with MJF challenging Kevin Knight
<v Speaker 1>for the TNT title. So right out of the gate,
<v Speaker 1>MJF goes at Night right from the opening bell sends
<v Speaker 1>him outside. So Knight mounted a comeback here and he
<v Speaker 1>did this big drop kick into a kip up and
<v Speaker 1>again these people are going nuts for this guy, which
<v Speaker 1>is great to see. That's what you want to see,
<v Speaker 1>right because he's someone who's on the upswing, so they're
<v Speaker 1>going nuts for him here in Fairfax. And three or
<v Speaker 1>four different times MJF rolled out of the ring. He
<v Speaker 1>almost did like the Orange Cassidy slow roll out of
<v Speaker 1>the ring to try to avoid some sort of move
<v Speaker 1>from Kevin Knight, and Night was like, yeah, that's not
<v Speaker 1>going to work. And so each time he would do that,
<v Speaker 1>Knight ended up doing some sort of dive out of
<v Speaker 1>the ring. So the first time it was a slingshot
<v Speaker 1>crossbody and then he hit his suicide dive. I think
<v Speaker 1>he did a somersault dive and then a springboard dive.
<v Speaker 1>And each time he just took this guy out outside
<v Speaker 1>the ring. But Knight sold a knee injury on his
<v Speaker 1>feet coming off the top rope at one point, so
<v Speaker 1>MJF targeted the knee. He caught Knight with a Panama sunrise.
<v Speaker 1>I wonder who he learned that from. Night landed hiss
<v Speaker 1>Ufo splash a little while later, but was selling the knee.
<v Speaker 1>He couldn't make the cover in time. These fucking people
<v Speaker 1>in this crowd were losing their minds trying to will
<v Speaker 1>him over to MJF to make this cover, and finally
<v Speaker 1>he did, but he had let too much time go by,
<v Speaker 1>so MJF was able to kick at it too. So
<v Speaker 1>MJF now goes and grabs the TNT title from Ringsiden.
<v Speaker 1>He brings it into the ring right in full view
<v Speaker 1>of the referee and he teases that he's going to
<v Speaker 1>use it. Referee takes the belt away from him, and
<v Speaker 1>of course this is his cue to pull out the
<v Speaker 1>dynamite diamond ring. He had a big, fat smile on
<v Speaker 1>his face. Referee's attention is diverted here for a few moments,
<v Speaker 1>and as soon as MJF turns around, Kevin Knight drops
<v Speaker 1>down and he delivers a low blow and then he
<v Speaker 1>cradles him into a pin and he pins MJF to
<v Speaker 1>retain the TNT Championship and MJF sold this. He was
<v Speaker 1>in shock. His eyes were wide, he couldn't believe it.
<v Speaker 1>And then he chopped blocked Knight as he was celebrating,
<v Speaker 1>and he was about to use the diamond ring when
<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen repelled from the ceiling Like father, like son
<v Speaker 1>and he lands and he unhooks himself and he gets
<v Speaker 1>in the ring and he grabs MJF drops him with
<v Speaker 1>a scorpion death drop. So MJF he crawls up the
<v Speaker 1>aisle to the stage and he's got a microphone and
<v Speaker 1>he said, the fans suck, and he doesn't care about
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight. He wasn't even really trying in this match,
<v Speaker 1>so it doesn't really count. The only thing he cares
<v Speaker 1>about is his triple B and he wants his rematch,
<v Speaker 1>Give me my fucking rematch, And Darby tells him exactly
<v Speaker 1>what he told him last week. He goes, no, you
<v Speaker 1>get no rematch unless you put something on the line.
<v Speaker 1>So Darby says, if I make it past Brody King tonight,
<v Speaker 1>I think I know who deserves the next shot. He
<v Speaker 1>looks over in the corner and Kevin Knight is crouched
<v Speaker 1>in the corner and he's staring at Kevin Knight. So
<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen is in the ring, MJF is in the
<v Speaker 1>aisleway and here it comes Brodie King, and Brodie King
<v Speaker 1>briefly gets up in mjf's face and he continues walking
<v Speaker 1>towards the ring and he gets inside and he says
<v Speaker 1>he's got bad news for Darby, You're not gonna survive tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and then he looks over at Kevin Knight he tells him,
<v Speaker 1>I got some bad news for you too, because next
<v Speaker 1>week you're not gonna be facing this guy, You're gonna
<v Speaker 1>be facing me. And that's how they close things here
<v Speaker 1>a little teas of the world title match coming up
<v Speaker 1>later on in the show. I'm very very happy that
<v Speaker 1>they did not put that TNT title on mj I
<v Speaker 1>was convinced that that's where this was leading, and I
<v Speaker 1>just couldn't wrap my head around it, because what sense
<v Speaker 1>would that even make. It's twofold, really number one, if
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna run back Darby and MJF, there's no need
<v Speaker 1>to have any other championship on the line. There's only
<v Speaker 1>one title that matters here. That's number one. Number two.
<v Speaker 1>You're giving this big push to Kevin Knight. Don't cut
<v Speaker 1>his legs off, you know what I mean? And I
<v Speaker 1>mentioned this last week. I did the same thing with
<v Speaker 1>Tomaso Champa when he first came in, he won the
<v Speaker 1>TNT title, didn't even last two weeks with it. Don't
<v Speaker 1>do the same thing to Kevin Knight, so I was
<v Speaker 1>very happy they didn't do that, and I actually I
<v Speaker 1>also thought it was a very good match. But all
<v Speaker 1>this talk about you have to put something on the line,
<v Speaker 1>you have to put something on the line, And if
<v Speaker 1>it's not gonna be another championship, what could he possibly
<v Speaker 1>put on the line. My guess is the only logical
<v Speaker 1>thing here is that as MJF sees Darby doling out
<v Speaker 1>these title matches and giving out these title matches like
<v Speaker 1>candy to different people every single week, everybody but him,
<v Speaker 1>it will continue to drive him over the edge and
<v Speaker 1>he's gonna get desperate, and the stipulation could very well
<v Speaker 1>be that he will put his career on the line,
<v Speaker 1>or even something similar to the Hangman match where it
<v Speaker 1>was like, if you don't win, you can never again
<v Speaker 1>challenge for the title. He may do the same thing.
<v Speaker 1>He may put his own career on the line in
<v Speaker 1>that regard and say, if I can't beat you, then
<v Speaker 1>I can't challenge for this championship again. That's probably the
<v Speaker 1>type of stipulation that we're looking at here, because there
<v Speaker 1>just isn't anything else to me that really makes sense.
<v Speaker 1>So I would imagine that that's where this is all
<v Speaker 1>leading as far as when we get the announcement of
<v Speaker 1>what that stipulation is. I don't know if it's next
<v Speaker 1>week or the week after again double or nothing. Is
<v Speaker 1>May twenty fourth, I believe, And it's not even May yet,
<v Speaker 1>so they still have a little bit of time, but
<v Speaker 1>I think it may be something along those lines. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not a fan of MJF losing so many matches, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I know that that's probably a criticism that many of
<v Speaker 1>you have as well. He should not be losing constantly
<v Speaker 1>on television. They did the finish in a way that
<v Speaker 1>was designed to at least protect him because he got
<v Speaker 1>low blowed. Referee didn't see it. I actually like that
<v Speaker 1>aspect of it, because this is the second time now
<v Speaker 1>that you've had a babyface. I always talk about dumb
<v Speaker 1>babyface syndrome in wrestling, Right, there's so many dumb fucking babyfaces.
<v Speaker 1>Ww we a w it doesn't really matter, right. They
<v Speaker 1>don't learn from their mistakes, and they don't wear a
<v Speaker 1>protective cup, which MJF should probably start doing. So it's
<v Speaker 1>kind of nice that now the tables are turned right.
<v Speaker 1>Darby knows all of this guy's tricks, and he threw
<v Speaker 1>it right back in his face when he won the
<v Speaker 1>title from him. That's what Kevin Knight did tonight. He
<v Speaker 1>knows what MJF does at the end of these matches,
<v Speaker 1>and so he gave it to him before he could
<v Speaker 1>do it to Kevin Knight, and he won. So MJF
<v Speaker 1>is kind of getting his come up, and in that
<v Speaker 1>regard all the shit that he usually does to other people.
<v Speaker 1>They're beating him to the punch and doing it to him.
<v Speaker 1>That's the story here, but we get the picture, like
<v Speaker 1>I don't need to see him lose again next week
<v Speaker 1>and the week after that, you know, I mean again.
<v Speaker 1>You look at the year he's had so far. He
<v Speaker 1>got squashed by Brodie King earlier this year, right back
<v Speaker 1>in January, he got squashed by Darby. Now he's lost
<v Speaker 1>to Kevin Knight. I know he can withstand it because
<v Speaker 1>he's MJF, so he's going to be okay, But like, still,
<v Speaker 1>I would not be beating him like a drum. Hopefully this
<v Speaker 1>ends here and this is not something that becomes a
<v Speaker 1>recurring theme on this show. But again, the match was great,
<v Speaker 1>the crowd was hot, and Kevin Knight is the real deal,
<v Speaker 1>the only thing with Kevin Knight. He just needs to
<v Speaker 1>work on his promos. That's more a product of just
<v Speaker 1>getting him in the ring with people like MJF and
<v Speaker 1>putting a mic in his hand and just giving him
<v Speaker 1>more opportunities to go out there and not just address
<v Speaker 1>the crowd, but just interact with other people on the mic.
<v Speaker 1>And I think the more they do that, better he'll get,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the more comfortable he'll get at it. The
<v Speaker 1>en ring stuff. I mean, the crowd is into him
<v Speaker 1>when he's out there and he's wrestling whoever, it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>matter who it is, they're behind him. You know, he's
<v Speaker 1>been he's been someone who if you watch these shows,
<v Speaker 1>you can tell Tony Kahan is very high on him.
<v Speaker 1>If he's truly high on Kevin Knight, then just keep
<v Speaker 1>pushing him, right, don't again, don't cut off his legs,
<v Speaker 1>don't don't start beating him or we start wondering, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>you know he's not on the show every week. Like
<v Speaker 1>what he's doing with him now is great. You know
<v Speaker 1>you're featuring him on the show. You're you're having him
<v Speaker 1>interact with some of your top names. This week it
<v Speaker 1>was MJF. Next week he's gonna be wrestling Darby Allen,
<v Speaker 1>and we know he's not gonna win, so they're putting
<v Speaker 1>him in a situation where he's he's gonna lose. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I suppose mjf could could get involved, but he's not
<v Speaker 1>gonna win. We know this. But they have him in
<v Speaker 1>the main events scene, which is a great place for
<v Speaker 1>him to be. Yeah. I said this earlier this year,
<v Speaker 1>coming out of the Continental Classic. This year for him
<v Speaker 1>should be what twenty twenty five was for Kyle Fletcher.
<v Speaker 1>In Kyle Fletcher, they made a star. I'm not saying
<v Speaker 1>he's the biggest star in the company, but they took
<v Speaker 1>a guy who was part of a tag team and
<v Speaker 1>they turned him into a legitimate star for them in
<v Speaker 1>this company. They could do the same thing with Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight this year. They're well on their way. Just keep
<v Speaker 1>doing what you're doing. The fans have taken to him.
<v Speaker 1>They like him. He's super talented, so I like what
<v Speaker 1>they're doing with him right now. Hopefully they could just
<v Speaker 1>continue down that path. Jamie Hater has been medically cleared then,
<v Speaker 1>so she was back in action tonight. Her and Alex
<v Speaker 1>Windsor back as a tag team against Emily j and
<v Speaker 1>Jordan Blade. This one about as long as you would
<v Speaker 1>expect it to Brawling Birds. They made short work of
<v Speaker 1>these two women. They finished them off with their two birds,
<v Speaker 1>one stone. Not much else to say about this. It
<v Speaker 1>was a simple squash, just to get them back in
<v Speaker 1>the win column. I still think that all roads lead
<v Speaker 1>to London and then winning the tag team titles there.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's where we end up with this. But
<v Speaker 1>whenever it actually happens, these two will be the ones
<v Speaker 1>to take the tag belts off of Megan Bain A
<v Speaker 1>Leena Cross. I think Wembley would be the best place
<v Speaker 1>for it. Where else where else would the Brawling Birds
<v Speaker 1>win the tag team titles if not London. You got
<v Speaker 1>this big London show coming up in a few months.
<v Speaker 1>It just makes all the sense in the world. Backstage,
<v Speaker 1>Tekla was with sky Blue No Julia Hart, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know where she was. Tekla said, Look, I wish I
<v Speaker 1>could stop calling people dumb bitches, but there's just too
<v Speaker 1>many in aw for me to stop. That's like me
<v Speaker 1>on social media. There's a lot of dumb bitches on
<v Speaker 1>social media. And I don't mean women, I just mean
<v Speaker 1>dumb bitches all over social media, and I would love,
<v Speaker 1>I would love to stop calling them dumb bitches, but
<v Speaker 1>there's just too many of them. I can't stop. I
<v Speaker 1>can't help myself. I can relate to Tecla, so sky
<v Speaker 1>Blue said that she feels sorry for Persephone because she
<v Speaker 1>got misted last week by Julia, but it's the best
<v Speaker 1>thing that ever happened to her, so maybe you'll open
<v Speaker 1>her eyes. Tecla talked somehit about the Brawling Birds and
<v Speaker 1>said that one on one, she's everything. They are nothing,
<v Speaker 1>so stick to being a tag team. We got Kazushka
<v Speaker 1>Okada defending the International Championship against Ace Austen here on
<v Speaker 1>this show. This is only the seventh title defense for
<v Speaker 1>Okada since he won that championship uh and really his
<v Speaker 1>seventh title defense since Forbidden Door in August, and as
<v Speaker 1>far as as Austin is concerned, this is his third
<v Speaker 1>match ever on Dynamite, and his run in this company
<v Speaker 1>only really goes back to like last summer, so since
<v Speaker 1>last August, same month, only his third match here on
<v Speaker 1>this show, and he's wrestling Okada for the International title.
<v Speaker 1>Why I have no fucking idea, but this is the
<v Speaker 1>match they announced, so Austin got a you got a
<v Speaker 1>decent amount of shine here. But I mean there were
<v Speaker 1>two standing dropkicks that Okada delivered, and the first one
<v Speaker 1>was that the first one. It was the first one
<v Speaker 1>he dropped kicked him out of midair. But both of
<v Speaker 1>these dropkicks like right in the kisser. I mean, he
<v Speaker 1>fucking wrecked him with these dropkicks. I mean they were
<v Speaker 1>just they were so perfect. So Austin Doctor Rainmaker attempted
<v Speaker 1>into a backslide for a very close two count. Okata
<v Speaker 1>got up, he hit that second drop kick, followed by
<v Speaker 1>a tombstone and then finally a maker for the win.
<v Speaker 1>As Okada was celebrating with the various Kallus family members
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, Kenoski Takeshta walks out on stage, which
<v Speaker 1>is where he stays, and he looks at Okado. Okada
<v Speaker 1>looks back at him, and Takesha makes the belt gesture
<v Speaker 1>around his waist, signaling that he's coming for that International
<v Speaker 1>Championship at double or nothing. I am looking very forward
<v Speaker 1>to this match. I've been waiting for the rematch since December.
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad we're finally getting it. I'm not convinced that
<v Speaker 1>that will be the end of it, or that Takesha
<v Speaker 1>will even win the belt at double or nothing. I
<v Speaker 1>still think that Tony wants to do this match at
<v Speaker 1>Wembley Stadium. We may end up with three matches. Okata
<v Speaker 1>may win the first two and then Takesha wins the
<v Speaker 1>title at the end of the summer. I could see that.
<v Speaker 1>I just want to see the match, no tournament, just
<v Speaker 1>you have an actual story here. These two men do
<v Speaker 1>not like each other. You put them in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>you ring the bell, you let them do their thing.
<v Speaker 1>Match of the night. Can't wait. I've been waiting a
<v Speaker 1>long time for this match. We got a promo in
<v Speaker 1>the Wild West. You remember they've done these vignettes before
<v Speaker 1>for Bandido, which are very well done, very cinematic in nature.
<v Speaker 1>And so we're back to the Wild West and we
<v Speaker 1>see various patrons from the town saloon who are fleeing
<v Speaker 1>the saloon, and then this other man comes out. We
<v Speaker 1>can't see who it is, but he's got blood on
<v Speaker 1>his hands. He's walking along and he reaches down he
<v Speaker 1>picks up a wanted poster for Bandido, and the camera
<v Speaker 1>pans up and then we find out that it is
<v Speaker 1>Swerve Strickland. He's back. We haven't seen him in a while,
<v Speaker 1>although he was at the NFL Draft. Earlier in the show,
<v Speaker 1>they actually showed photos of him at the NFL Draft.
<v Speaker 1>He had a photo of Michael Keaton, f and Batman.
<v Speaker 1>They took a Where's Joseph Stewart when you need him?
<v Speaker 1>Swerve and Batman in the same photo together, So he
<v Speaker 1>is back. Prince Nana was there as well. Prince Nana
<v Speaker 1>handed him a lighter of some sort and almost like
<v Speaker 1>a little mini blowtorch, and he kind of blew a
<v Speaker 1>hole in the middle of the wanted poster and then
<v Speaker 1>he shot a death stare into the camera. It's good
<v Speaker 1>to have Swerve back on TV. But I think someone
<v Speaker 1>should probably tell Swerve that again, Darby Allen is handing
<v Speaker 1>out world title matches like they're going out of style.
<v Speaker 1>You would think that, if anything, Swerve would come back
<v Speaker 1>and would go and ask Darby for a championship match. Instead,
<v Speaker 1>he's coming after Bandido for reasons that are unexplained. I
<v Speaker 1>can't wait for that promo to find out why he's
<v Speaker 1>going after Bandido. But even if he had a good
<v Speaker 1>reason to go after Bandido, I don't know why he
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't go after Darby other than they obviously don't want
<v Speaker 1>him challenging Darby right now for the belt. But it
<v Speaker 1>just defy all logic. This man's given out title matches
<v Speaker 1>every week. Why would Swerve not be the first man
<v Speaker 1>in line? All right? We know the title is so
<v Speaker 1>important to him. Hangman can't wait in line because he
<v Speaker 1>can't challenge for the title anymore. Swerve can. But evidently
<v Speaker 1>he's going after Bandido. I do know this Swerve against
<v Speaker 1>Bandido is gonna be a great addition to that double
<v Speaker 1>or nothing card. That's another match that I very much
<v Speaker 1>would like to see. Gonna be a great match. Just
<v Speaker 1>wondering why he's choosing to go after this man. This
<v Speaker 1>man is not actually he is a champion. He's got
<v Speaker 1>the wrong belt though he's the Ring of Honor world champion.
<v Speaker 1>Is Swerve going after the Ring of Honor world title? Why?
<v Speaker 1>Why would he he picked the wrong belt? Hey, butter
<v Speaker 1>you're welcome. Butter Cream, You're welcome. I can't have butter
<v Speaker 1>cream anymore. You all can get creamed. I can't do
<v Speaker 1>that anymore. We recapped some footage here from Collision because
<v Speaker 1>you remember on Dynamite last week the death Riders kidnapped
<v Speaker 1>well ospray. We never found out what happened him, you
<v Speaker 1>would have had you have to tune into Collision to
<v Speaker 1>find out. So on Collision, there was a vignette where
<v Speaker 1>Moxley is sitting in a chair, the Death Riders are there,
<v Speaker 1>Osprey is sitting in a chair and Moxley proposes, he
<v Speaker 1>made a proposition to Osprey that he wanted to help
<v Speaker 1>make him the most dangerous version of himself that he
<v Speaker 1>has ever seen. He wants to help him. It's like
<v Speaker 1>he wants to mentor him. And so that was the
<v Speaker 1>gist of it. He had kicked the death Riders out.
<v Speaker 1>He laid down face down on the ground, left a
<v Speaker 1>chair there and told Osprey do you got to do?
<v Speaker 1>And Osprey picked up the chair. He was kind of hesitating,
<v Speaker 1>and that was the end of the vignettes, so we
<v Speaker 1>don't know what happened there. So this was the follow up.
<v Speaker 1>So they cut to the back somewhere and the death
<v Speaker 1>Riders are just sort of training. They're in like a
<v Speaker 1>hallway or something, and Osprey shows up. It's like he's
<v Speaker 1>showing up with the dojo. He walks in and Moxley
<v Speaker 1>goes over to him and he says, did you get cleared?
<v Speaker 1>And Osprey says, no, no, no, I didn't. But he goes,
<v Speaker 1>it's not stopping me from going to Japan. Me and
<v Speaker 1>my boys have a big title match coming up. Moxley said,
<v Speaker 1>I like that. It shows loyalty. So he tells Ospray
<v Speaker 1>he I should have mentioned this. So Pack is standing
<v Speaker 1>there and Pack is just stonefaced, right because he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>clearly approve of any of this. He doesn't like well,
<v Speaker 1>Osprey just a blank expression on his face, and Moxley
<v Speaker 1>is looking at Pack and he actually he poked him
<v Speaker 1>in the stomach like the fucking Pillsbury dough boy to
<v Speaker 1>try to get him to crack, and Pack is like,
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck are you doing? I thought that was
<v Speaker 1>kind of amusing. So Moxley tells Osprey, here's what you
<v Speaker 1>need to do. You need to drop everything everything that
<v Speaker 1>clouds you, all of this, everything that clouds your vision,
<v Speaker 1>everything that makes you see things that aren't there, whatever
<v Speaker 1>pulls at your heart strings, the anger that burns a
<v Speaker 1>hole in your stomach. Drop all of that excess baggage
<v Speaker 1>because we don't need it. It says Osbury's Feelings about
<v Speaker 1>Moxley drop it. Moxley doesn't promise miracles, but when he
<v Speaker 1>promises something, he sees it through until the very end.
<v Speaker 1>All he asks for is the same in return, and
<v Speaker 1>so Osprey agrees to this. He agrees to these terms
<v Speaker 1>and then he asks, so where's the ring. There's no ring.
<v Speaker 1>Claudio takes it. It's actually kind of a weird ending
<v Speaker 1>here because Moxley says, no, no, there is no ring.
<v Speaker 1>The implication is that they're just going to start like
<v Speaker 1>training and rolling around on the floor right where they are.
<v Speaker 1>But he goes, there's no ring, and Claudio at that moment,
<v Speaker 1>takes his shirt off. And then at that point Moxley
<v Speaker 1>acknowledges the camera and he says no, no, like we're
<v Speaker 1>we're not showing this right, and that's where it cuts off.
<v Speaker 1>But it's kind of like, it's kind of weird, like no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>there's no ring here. And then the last thing we
<v Speaker 1>see is Claudio taking his shirt off. It's like, what
<v Speaker 1>are they about to do here? What exactly does this
<v Speaker 1>session involve here? I don't know because it ended there
<v Speaker 1>and they cut away. I gotta tell you, you know.
<v Speaker 1>My thoughts on the Death Riders the Death Riders. It's
<v Speaker 1>it's just such a weird fucking group. They have been
<v Speaker 1>through a lot of transformations, ups and downs. The best
<v Speaker 1>thing is that they got the world title away from
<v Speaker 1>them and they're not carrying it around at a briefcase anymore.
<v Speaker 1>So that's good. I am stunned that they are still together.
<v Speaker 1>I thought by now that they would have split them up.
<v Speaker 1>It kind of felt like there was a way to
<v Speaker 1>tell that story Tony didn't want to tell. That's actually
<v Speaker 1>Moxley probably didn't want to tell that story because I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure Moxley has basically creative control and creative cart planche
<v Speaker 1>over this whole thing. I wouldn't be surprised if he's
<v Speaker 1>basically booking his own stuff. And so the Death Riders
<v Speaker 1>live on and Moxley for a while there was a
<v Speaker 1>babyface and being cheered like a baby face, and the
<v Speaker 1>other members weren't. And then Will Osprey came back, and
<v Speaker 1>all of a sudden, Moxley was back to acting like
<v Speaker 1>a heel. And back and forth we go, and back
<v Speaker 1>and forth. I'm like, what's going on here? But Moxley
<v Speaker 1>wrestles Osprey and beats him, and I look at this
<v Speaker 1>and I go, okay, I see the vision. Because if
<v Speaker 1>the vision is will Ospray winning the world title this year,
<v Speaker 1>then it's going to happen in August. So how do
<v Speaker 1>you get there? Because the Owen, you know, you got
<v Speaker 1>to remember, the All In show in Texas last year
<v Speaker 1>was in July. This year it's about a month and
<v Speaker 1>a half later, maybe six weeks. So the Owen probably
<v Speaker 1>is not going to begin until. I mean it'll be
<v Speaker 1>after double or nothing, most likely. What do you do
<v Speaker 1>with will Ospbury in the meantime? What kind of story
<v Speaker 1>do you want to tell with will Osprey before he
<v Speaker 1>punches his ticket to the main event of All In.
<v Speaker 1>They have chosen to tell the story of his neck,
<v Speaker 1>because every time he's in the ring, it's all about
<v Speaker 1>the neck, and he's got the tape all over the
<v Speaker 1>neck and he's gonna kill, nearly kill himself, and every
<v Speaker 1>single match he gets dropped on his head. They overdo
<v Speaker 1>it a bit, but it's this story of perseverance. Right.
<v Speaker 1>He went in there and he lost to John Moxley,
<v Speaker 1>the guy that he wanted revenge on. He fucking lost,
<v Speaker 1>And I said, okay, when it comes time for the Owen.
<v Speaker 1>The finals of Owen, it's gonna be Will Ospray and
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley. And so when Osbury finally gets that win,
<v Speaker 1>the very next match we see him in is going
<v Speaker 1>to be challenging for the World Championship. So now they're
<v Speaker 1>doing this almost like a little side quest now where
<v Speaker 1>he's joining in effect the Death Riders, but obviously he's
<v Speaker 1>not joining as a full fledged member. But that's basically
<v Speaker 1>the story they're telling here. And I'm watching this and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, is it like a Stockholm syndrome type thing
<v Speaker 1>where it's like he's he's bonding with his captors. He
<v Speaker 1>was literally kidnapped on the show last week, like they
<v Speaker 1>grabbed him and they took him away. He was kidnapped.
<v Speaker 1>And now he's agreeing to their terms and he's gonna
<v Speaker 1>work with them. He's gonna show up for training sessions.
<v Speaker 1>And it's a little strange, but I kind of I'm intrigued,
<v Speaker 1>I'll say that because they're telling an actual story here.
<v Speaker 1>They're trying to tell an actual story here to build
<v Speaker 1>up Ospray that much more. Going into all in my
<v Speaker 1>whole theory about this still stands. I still think at
<v Speaker 1>the end of all of this, like the ultimate final
<v Speaker 1>test that this man will pass is that he will
<v Speaker 1>beat John Moxley. John Moxley. It's like John Moxley has
<v Speaker 1>found a bird and the bird's wing is broken, and
<v Speaker 1>so now he has to nurse this bird back to health.
<v Speaker 1>And then once the bird is all nursed back to
<v Speaker 1>health one hundred percent, the bird can fly once again. Right.
<v Speaker 1>Will Osprey is the wounded animal that John Moxley is
<v Speaker 1>going to now try to heal. Now why Moxley cares?
<v Speaker 1>What is his motivations for doing so? He hasn't said,
<v Speaker 1>But I don't hate what they're doing here. I think
<v Speaker 1>it's kind of interesting. I still stand by what I
<v Speaker 1>said though. I still think at the end of all this,
<v Speaker 1>Osprey is going to beat him, and I think when
<v Speaker 1>he does, Moxley is going to look him in the
<v Speaker 1>eye and it's going to be a matter of respect.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, Okay, my job here is done. My job
<v Speaker 1>here was to bring out the best version of Will Ospray.
<v Speaker 1>I've done my job. Now you can go on and
<v Speaker 1>win the world title. And that's where I think. Ultimately
<v Speaker 1>the story is going actual death writer stuff that isn't
<v Speaker 1>death on television. They're telling an actual story here, which
<v Speaker 1>is somebody that you know, a lot of people complain
<v Speaker 1>about that there's not enough story on these shows, which
<v Speaker 1>is not entirely true. Sometimes they sell there's no story,
<v Speaker 1>and I mean they tell their own kind of version
<v Speaker 1>of stories. You can't say there's no stories on the show.
<v Speaker 1>You could say that there's no great stories on the show.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that's fine if that's how you feel. But
<v Speaker 1>in this case, at least, they're trying to tell some
<v Speaker 1>sort of story between these two. You know, it's not
<v Speaker 1>just putting the rematch together for the sake of doing
<v Speaker 1>the rematch. We'll see where it goes. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if they're going to do something a double or nothing.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if they're going to do something again
<v Speaker 1>wait until the Owen kicks in and do it there.
<v Speaker 1>It almost feels like double or nothing would be too
<v Speaker 1>soon for them to kind of be on opposing sides again.
<v Speaker 1>We'll see where the story goes. It's intriguing at least.
<v Speaker 1>Can't say that all of it makes entirely too much sense,
<v Speaker 1>but by the end of it, maybe it will. I
<v Speaker 1>want to see where it goes. This week's episode is
<v Speaker 1>sponsored by wis you Know We hear a lot about

<v Speaker 1>Adam Copeland Christian cage rare television match. They were in
<v Speaker 1>action against Rpgvice, Trent Burretta and Rocky Romero FTR and
<v Speaker 1>Stokely Halfaway. They came out before the match to observe
<v Speaker 1>the Heels went after Christian's bad forearm. But I have
<v Speaker 1>no idea why Rpgvice needed this much offense. I mean
<v Speaker 1>when they were get the heat on Christian, I mean
<v Speaker 1>it was just going on and on and on, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, this is going on for way too long here.
<v Speaker 1>You're giving these guys a little too much offense, I think.
<v Speaker 1>So in the middle of this match, the Conglomeration suddenly
<v Speaker 1>appeared in the front row. We saw Orange Cassidy, and
<v Speaker 1>we saw Roderick Strong, and we saw Kyle o'reiley And
<v Speaker 1>this was all unbeknownst to Stokely Hathaway. So Stokely sees
<v Speaker 1>them and he takes a swing. He missed Cassidy, who
<v Speaker 1>threw popcorn at him. The Conglomerration FTR they brought through
<v Speaker 1>the crowd and out of the arena, So they're out
<v Speaker 1>of the picture now. So the Heels worked over Christian
<v Speaker 1>for again way too long, until Copeland got the hot tag.
<v Speaker 1>He dropped Bretta with an impaler for a near fall
<v Speaker 1>Cage and Romero. They spilled out of the ring. Inside
<v Speaker 1>the ring, Bretta leapfrogged a spear attempt by Copeland, tried
<v Speaker 1>to pin him with his foot on the ropes. The
<v Speaker 1>referee actually caught him. For a change. Trent was arguing
<v Speaker 1>with Rick Knox. He turned around into a spear and
<v Speaker 1>Cope and Christian and they pick up the win. So
<v Speaker 1>after the match, Christian brought a chair into the ring
<v Speaker 1>and he stomps on it to break off the bottom
<v Speaker 1>bar and he gives it to Copeland with the idea
<v Speaker 1>that he wants him to use it on Trends in
<v Speaker 1>a cross face, and so he does. He puts Trent
<v Speaker 1>in a cross face with the bar across his mouth,
<v Speaker 1>and Christian on the microphone is telling you say the words,
<v Speaker 1>say the words, and Beretta starts to scream out loud.
<v Speaker 1>I quit, I quit, A little hint of what's to
<v Speaker 1>come at double or nothing. In the I Quit match
<v Speaker 1>between Cope and Christian and FTR. That was really the
<v Speaker 1>whole point of the match. They really just wanted that
<v Speaker 1>one moment at the end, and Copeland at that point
<v Speaker 1>he's outside the ring now, he's staring at the tag
<v Speaker 1>team belts which they had left behind. They're laying on
<v Speaker 1>the announced desk, and he put a popcorn bucket over
<v Speaker 1>his head. He wore it like a crown. For some reason.
<v Speaker 1>He was out there having fun old bucket head over here.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, look, the match was, it was solid, It
<v Speaker 1>was fine. Nothing terribly exciting here. Again, I think RPG
<v Speaker 1>Wece went on offense for a little too long in
<v Speaker 1>this match, but it was okay. Not lighting my world
<v Speaker 1>on fire. I can't lie. After the break, Renee was
<v Speaker 1>in the back to interview Chris Jericho. I will point
<v Speaker 1>out to you that Renee did all of the backstage
<v Speaker 1>interviews throughout the entire show, from the opening one earlier
<v Speaker 1>in the night. She was losing her voice. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why they could not substitute somebody else in there
<v Speaker 1>for at least some of these segments. This poor woman
<v Speaker 1>did all of the backstage segments on this show as
<v Speaker 1>she was losing her voice, except in this one segment
<v Speaker 1>here because she was in the back with Chris Jericho,
<v Speaker 1>who was not actually there tonight. In fair facts, He's
<v Speaker 1>actually here in New York City, he's filming something television related,
<v Speaker 1>some TV show. I don't know what it is, but
<v Speaker 1>he was not a dynamite. But it was very It
<v Speaker 1>was very funny because magically, in this one segment, which
<v Speaker 1>totally didn't get recorded last week, Rene's voice was okay,
<v Speaker 1>she sounded normal, she sounded human here in this segment,
<v Speaker 1>but then when they went back to her in like
<v Speaker 1>the later segment, she lost her voice again. So but
<v Speaker 1>here she had her voice, and she was asking Jericho
<v Speaker 1>if Ricochet's Rico Salt his version of the Lion Salt,
<v Speaker 1>is in fact an improved version of Jericho's Lion Salt.
<v Speaker 1>So Jericho started to speak Ricochet in the Gates of Agony.
<v Speaker 1>They showed up and they attacked Jericho. So Ricochet asked Jericho,
<v Speaker 1>is this what you want? Is this what you want?
<v Speaker 1>Jericho told him to eat shit and then called him bald,
<v Speaker 1>and so Ricochet tore Jericho's shirt Gates of Agony. They
<v Speaker 1>ran Jericho into a nearby equipment case. Ricochet asked Jericho
<v Speaker 1>if he thought he was being funny, and then he
<v Speaker 1>teased doing a Rico Salt onto Jericho. He actually leapt over.
<v Speaker 1>Jericho landed on his feet and then told him you're
<v Speaker 1>not even worth it, and he walked away, and the
<v Speaker 1>parting shot was Jericho laying on the ground. Yes, Jericho
<v Speaker 1>was not there tonight, so they at least found a
<v Speaker 1>way to get him on the show. I think Jericho's
<v Speaker 1>new gimmick is that basically like he kind of he's
<v Speaker 1>a smart guy, and I think if he wants to
<v Speaker 1>curry favor with the audience, what better way to do
<v Speaker 1>that than by having him go out there and lose
<v Speaker 1>all of his first matches and get his ass kicked
<v Speaker 1>every week and build up sympathy for people to want
<v Speaker 1>to see Jericho go out there and win. And it
<v Speaker 1>seems like also they're building an entire storyline around on
<v Speaker 1>the Lion Salt, which is a move that he's used
<v Speaker 1>in every single match. It's a throwaway move, it's a
<v Speaker 1>setup move. He's used it in every match going back
<v Speaker 1>thirty years, and they seem to be building to this
<v Speaker 1>big moment where when he hits the Lion Sault again,
<v Speaker 1>people are supposed to go crazy for it. We'll see,
<v Speaker 1>we'll see if it works. But yeah, watch Jericho consistently
<v Speaker 1>lose to the point where the fans want to see
<v Speaker 1>him win. Smart, very smart. Megan Bain and Lean Across
<v Speaker 1>defended the women's tag team titles against Hikarushida and Chris Statlander.
<v Speaker 1>This is clearly building to Shida turning on Statlander, or
<v Speaker 1>at least you know her not realizing what Shita is
<v Speaker 1>up to. They said, Mina Sheirakawa is trying to tell
<v Speaker 1>Chris Statlander you can't trust her, you can't trust her.
<v Speaker 1>I could see them roping Willow Nightingale into this somehow
<v Speaker 1>and working the TVs title into this. So the first
<v Speaker 1>half of this match was not good. The first half
<v Speaker 1>of this was very rough. At one point, Megan Bain
<v Speaker 1>fell down. I didn't see why. She just I think
<v Speaker 1>lost her balance. I think she tried to pick one
<v Speaker 1>of them up and she just fell down. And that
<v Speaker 1>was sort of appropriate considering how the first half of
<v Speaker 1>this match just they just did not seem to be
<v Speaker 1>on the same page. They weren't even working off the
<v Speaker 1>same book. It's very clunky, It was very rough. The
<v Speaker 1>second half was better than the first, at least, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what happened here. At the beginning of the match.
<v Speaker 1>Sheida wanted to use her kendo stick though, and Statlander
<v Speaker 1>grabbed it and said no, no, she wouldn't let her
<v Speaker 1>use it, so Sheida. So now they're in the ring together.
<v Speaker 1>She'da kicks her in the gut and she supplexes her
<v Speaker 1>into the corner. It looks like she's turning on stat
<v Speaker 1>and the crowd started to react as if, holy shit,
<v Speaker 1>she's turning on this woman right now. She supplexes her
<v Speaker 1>into the corner and Bain had been laid out, I
<v Speaker 1>think across the middle rope in the corner. She was
<v Speaker 1>in the middle rope, and so she was really just
<v Speaker 1>supplexing Statlander into Megan Baine. She was using her partner
<v Speaker 1>as a weapon. And Statlander gets up and she gets
<v Speaker 1>up at her face like what the fuck, and She'd
<v Speaker 1>is like no, no, no, go after her stay on
<v Speaker 1>top of her. So it looked like this was a turn.
<v Speaker 1>This was not a turn, not yet anyway. Late in
<v Speaker 1>the match, Statlander stacked both women up, went up top,
<v Speaker 1>hit a four point fifty splash onto the pile for
<v Speaker 1>a two count. Statlander went for the Saturday Night Fever. Shida, though,
<v Speaker 1>made a blind tag, hitting a meteora off the top
<v Speaker 1>and then a Falcon arrow for a two count. Statlander
<v Speaker 1>came in, she got wiped out with a flying boot.
<v Speaker 1>Bain and Cross then demolished Sheita. I mean they slammed
<v Speaker 1>her down hard with their double choke slamb and they
<v Speaker 1>pinned her to retain the titles. I've certainly seen better
<v Speaker 1>from Megan Bain A Lena Cross. This This was not
<v Speaker 1>the best outing for any of these four women. I
<v Speaker 1>will just say that by the end of it. It
<v Speaker 1>was at least a decent match by the end, but
<v Speaker 1>this was not great. We had Ruche against let me
<v Speaker 1>see here, what was this guy's name? Stephen Fuerte. Want
<v Speaker 1>to make sure I get it right. Stephen Fuerte was
<v Speaker 1>his opponent here at the show. Poor Stephen Ferte. He
<v Speaker 1>wanted a handshake from Ruche. I don't know why you
<v Speaker 1>would expect him to shake your hand. He didn't and
<v Speaker 1>instead Ruche She's just wrecked him with a right hand
<v Speaker 1>and they ended up on the floor. Ruche was just
<v Speaker 1>stomping the fuck out of this guy, just kicking the
<v Speaker 1>shit out of him, and then got him back in
<v Speaker 1>the ring and he gave him the bulls horns and
<v Speaker 1>that was it. It was short work for Ruche, who
<v Speaker 1>then got on the mic and he was saying some
<v Speaker 1>stuff in Spanish and then he ended with when you
<v Speaker 1>messed with the bull, you get the horns. So look,
<v Speaker 1>I could get behind more ruche television time here on
<v Speaker 1>this show. That's great. I think that Rush would make
<v Speaker 1>a great challenger in the not too distant future for
<v Speaker 1>one Kevin Knight for the TNT title. That's what I think.
<v Speaker 1>But he is someone who I would like to see
<v Speaker 1>more of on this show. Hopefully we get to see
<v Speaker 1>more of him on this show, like last week. For example,
<v Speaker 1>last week we had Leo Rush, right, Leo Rush had
<v Speaker 1>that match with Brody King. Some people may not be
<v Speaker 1>a fan of this whole gimmick that Leo Rush is doing.
<v Speaker 1>I like it because it's at least something different. He's
<v Speaker 1>clearly committed to it. It's kind of creepy, and I
<v Speaker 1>just wish they would have taken more effort and care
<v Speaker 1>to try to explain to us exactly why he has
<v Speaker 1>descended into madness. If you want to do some sort
<v Speaker 1>of vignette, do a vignette. I'm not saying you have
<v Speaker 1>to just do a sit down, serious interview with the guy.
<v Speaker 1>And they didn't do that. He literally just showed up
<v Speaker 1>on Dynamite last week, which he never shows up on,
<v Speaker 1>and he wrestled Brodie King and he lost, and then
<v Speaker 1>he was never I mean, he wasn't on the show tonight.
<v Speaker 1>He probably won't be on the show next week, so
<v Speaker 1>it was basically like a one off and again, you're
<v Speaker 1>not gonna get over that way. So I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if Tony Kind is serious about pushing him with that
<v Speaker 1>gimmick or not. Rush is somebody who we should be
<v Speaker 1>seeing more on Dynamite. We should see him more on
<v Speaker 1>the A Show because he's really good. I hope we do,
<v Speaker 1>but I wonder if he'll fall into the same category
<v Speaker 1>as Leo Rush, where it's like you'll see him every
<v Speaker 1>now and then and then you won't, and it's like,
<v Speaker 1>how do you get over that way? You don't, you know,
<v Speaker 1>you really don't. But anyway, so this was just a
<v Speaker 1>short squash as if again they were building him up
<v Speaker 1>for something. I think that something might be the TNT
<v Speaker 1>Championship at some point, or at least a shot at
<v Speaker 1>the TNT title. I don't know if he'll win it,
<v Speaker 1>but that's what I would do with him. Renee again,
<v Speaker 1>poor Renee. Let this woman rest. She was in the
<v Speaker 1>back with the Ops. Samoa, Joe is back, Katsiori Shabata
<v Speaker 1>is back from Japan. Hook is there, and the brand
<v Speaker 1>new member, the newest edition, the newest recruit for the Ops.
<v Speaker 1>If you saw Collision last week, Anthony Bowens, he's in there.
<v Speaker 1>He's standing there with the puffer coat on. Now he
<v Speaker 1>knows how to dress like the rest of the Ops now.
<v Speaker 1>And she asked Joe what's the game plan moving forward?
<v Speaker 1>And Joe said, to reassert our dominance. He put over
<v Speaker 1>Bowens as someone who's always been overlooked, and now you'll
<v Speaker 1>get to see what he's truly capable of. And Hook, meanwhile,
<v Speaker 1>is going to become the TNT champion because he has
<v Speaker 1>a TNT title match this weekend on Collision with Kevin Knight.
<v Speaker 1>And then he turned his attention to will Osprey and
<v Speaker 1>he hopes it's not a case of Stockholm syndrome with
<v Speaker 1>him and the Death Riders. He said, look, we got
<v Speaker 1>your back when you if you need it, you got
<v Speaker 1>a choice to make. Will Osprey is in a great
<v Speaker 1>demand here. The Death Riders have recruited him. Now the
<v Speaker 1>Ops is putting an invitation out there so soon the
<v Speaker 1>the Hurt Syndicate is going to want to recruit will Osprey.
<v Speaker 1>What a trio that would be. Uh, Bobby Lashley's Shelton
<v Speaker 1>Benjamin and will Osprey be like Owen in the Nation.
<v Speaker 1>I think it could work. Anthony Bowen's joining the Ops
<v Speaker 1>in the Grand Scheme. I don't know that him joining
<v Speaker 1>the Ops is going to necessarily be the thing that
<v Speaker 1>vaults him to the next level in AW. I'm happy
<v Speaker 1>that they're actually doing something with the guys. It's impossible
<v Speaker 1>impossible for me to believe that him or Max Caster
<v Speaker 1>were thrilled about AW not really getting behind them when
<v Speaker 1>they initially split them, because they didn't really in the end,
<v Speaker 1>they didn't really do much with them as singles, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure they were hopeful and maybe they had their
<v Speaker 1>own ideas it didn't work out. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>they're going to do anything with Max Cast. But Anthony Bowens,
<v Speaker 1>he's a talented guy. If adding him to a group
<v Speaker 1>like this is going to help, you know, kind of
<v Speaker 1>elevate his profile by getting him on television more great,
<v Speaker 1>I think that's a good thing. This is the sort
<v Speaker 1>of thing that they should be doing. They should be
<v Speaker 1>trying to elevate younger stars who are currently not being
<v Speaker 1>used or not being used to their full potential right,
<v Speaker 1>find something for them to do on the show and
<v Speaker 1>get behind them. And not everybody is going to become
<v Speaker 1>a Kyle Fletcher. Not everybody's going to make it to
<v Speaker 1>that level. But whether again, whether it's an Anthony Bowens
<v Speaker 1>or whether it's a Kevin Knight or somebody else, this
<v Speaker 1>is the sort of thing that they need to do.
<v Speaker 1>You know, pick certain people that you would like to
<v Speaker 1>shine a spotlight on and just invest in them and
<v Speaker 1>give them the opportunity to go out there and show
<v Speaker 1>what they can do. And if they sin, they sink,
<v Speaker 1>the swim they swim, and you've made a new star.
<v Speaker 1>But I think someone like Bowen's and even Castor, they
<v Speaker 1>didn't get a fair shake the first time. Actually Castor
<v Speaker 1>was getting over with that dumb with that dumb open
<v Speaker 1>challenge gimmick. But again it didn't go anywhere. Why would
<v Speaker 1>you squander that, you know, do something meaningful with these people.
<v Speaker 1>Stokely Hathaway was backstage and he was with FTR and
<v Speaker 1>he said that he just left Tony Kahn's office and
<v Speaker 1>he has a proposition for Orange Cassidy. Next week on Dynamite,
<v Speaker 1>it'll be Orange Cassidy against Dax Harwood, and if Cassidy wins,
<v Speaker 1>he can challenge for the tag team titles. Pick a partner,
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't matter who, probably Roddy, and you can go
<v Speaker 1>after the tag team belts. But if Dax wins, then
<v Speaker 1>FTR can challenge for the Trios titles, which is just
<v Speaker 1>what we need, by the way, more champions that have
<v Speaker 1>one set of titles now challenging for another set of titles.
<v Speaker 1>The Trios titles, by the way, the most meaningless, useless
<v Speaker 1>pieces of ten in the entire company. But if Dax wins,
<v Speaker 1>they will partner up with Tamaso Champa and they will
<v Speaker 1>go after the Conglomeration and their Trios titles. Champa walks
<v Speaker 1>in and he says, if for the last or the
<v Speaker 1>last time he teamed with FTR, he put Mark Brisco
<v Speaker 1>on the shelf indefinitely, and next time they are going
<v Speaker 1>to win the Trios titles. This all just feels very
<v Speaker 1>forced to me, and anything involving the Trios titles, it's
<v Speaker 1>almost impossible for me to give a shit because the
<v Speaker 1>trio's titles don't mean anything. The trios titles are completely useless.
<v Speaker 1>They really are, so I don't care. But the main
<v Speaker 1>event had Darby Allen defending the AW World Championship against
<v Speaker 1>Brody King. So Darby hit Brody with a shotgun drop
<v Speaker 1>kick right at the start here, Darby hit an early
<v Speaker 1>suicide dive, so he comes flying out of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He literally like he bounces into Brody. Brody doesn't even move.
<v Speaker 1>Darby bounces off of him like a rubber ball and
<v Speaker 1>just falls to the ground. And then Brody just looks
<v Speaker 1>into the camera and he barks. It was like something
<v Speaker 1>out of a cartoon. Literally like he ran into a
<v Speaker 1>wall and just went splat. So they showed Kevin Knight
<v Speaker 1>in the crowd with his TNT title over his shoulder,
<v Speaker 1>standing there and watching the match. Then they cut to
<v Speaker 1>the back they showed MJF was watching the match very
<v Speaker 1>intently on TV. So late in the match, Darby avoided
<v Speaker 1>a cannon ball and Brody ended up crashing through the
<v Speaker 1>barricade outside. They ended up on top of the announced
<v Speaker 1>desk and Darby was able to kind of wiggle his
<v Speaker 1>way out of something that King was attempting. He gave
<v Speaker 1>Brody a Code red on top of the announced desk,
<v Speaker 1>and Brody's a big guy, and the table did not break,
<v Speaker 1>so Brody regained the advantage and he was just destroying
<v Speaker 1>this little fucker. But he kept kicking out now, which
<v Speaker 1>made Brody very mad, so he launches Darby over the
<v Speaker 1>top and he actually hit the camera man on the
<v Speaker 1>way down. So now Brody is outside and he's dragging Darby,
<v Speaker 1>and Darby is clawing it like the edge of the padding,
<v Speaker 1>the protective padding outside, and as he's being dragged, he's
<v Speaker 1>pulling the padding out to expose the concrete underneath. So
<v Speaker 1>he gets Darby up against the barricade and he go
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he backs up as far as he can go,
<v Speaker 1>and he comes charging in. He gets a running head
<v Speaker 1>start and he goes for a cannon ball. Darby moves
<v Speaker 1>out of the way, and Brody crashes through the barricade
<v Speaker 1>and into the crop. So Darby goes ahead. He exposes
<v Speaker 1>more of the concrete out there on the floor and
<v Speaker 1>he ends up on the apron. Brody is up there
<v Speaker 1>with him. Darby slides out underneath him and he manages
<v Speaker 1>to I think it was a sunset bomb, but he
<v Speaker 1>power bombs Brody onto the exposed concrete outside. Then Darby
<v Speaker 1>races up to the top rope and all the way
<v Speaker 1>to the floor. On the exposed concrete, he delivers a
<v Speaker 1>coffin drop to Brody King. So King ended up barely
<v Speaker 1>breaking the count back into the ring like nine point nine,
<v Speaker 1>and he slides into the ring. He's laying on his stomach.
<v Speaker 1>Darby comes off the top with a coffin drop to
<v Speaker 1>the back. Brody rolls over. At that point, Darby goes
<v Speaker 1>back up, hits a proper coffin drop, covers him and
<v Speaker 1>gets the pin to retain the AW World title. When
<v Speaker 1>the match is over, the announcers they mentioned that Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight he better not look past hook on Collision this
<v Speaker 1>weekend because they're gonna meet for the TNT Championship. And
<v Speaker 1>also the match has been made official on Dynamite. Next
<v Speaker 1>week it will be Kevin Knight one on one with
<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen for the AW World Championship. King got up
<v Speaker 1>and Brody shook hands with Darby. Darby went to the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>He looked up at Kevin Knight in the crowd kind
<v Speaker 1>of looking in his direction. Challengers challengers everywhere, and that
<v Speaker 1>is how Dynamite went off the air tonight. This was
<v Speaker 1>a good main event. You know what you're gonna get
<v Speaker 1>in a Brody King and Darby Allen match. Darby is
<v Speaker 1>gonna get destroyed for most of it, so it was
<v Speaker 1>exactly what I expected it to be. They had a
<v Speaker 1>good match. I gotta go though, with Kevin Knight and MJF.
<v Speaker 1>That was my favorite match of the show that they
<v Speaker 1>had a very strong opening match. Again, I see where
<v Speaker 1>they're going with this. As far as the Darby stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Losing the title back to MJF, I'm almost positive it'll
<v Speaker 1>happen on the twenty fourth. I like how they's been
<v Speaker 1>able to find a way to work Kevin Knight into
<v Speaker 1>this whole thing. We know he's going to lose next week.
<v Speaker 1>He's not gonna win the World Championship. Not advocating for that,
<v Speaker 1>but we should get a very good match out of it.
<v Speaker 1>I just like the fact that he's hanging with all
<v Speaker 1>of these people because by doing that, the longer that
<v Speaker 1>goes on for or the more you know, kind of
<v Speaker 1>prominent names he gets to hang around and work with
<v Speaker 1>on this show, it just sends a message to people
<v Speaker 1>like this is how you should view somebody like him.
<v Speaker 1>So I like that he's not gonna win every single
<v Speaker 1>match necessarily, but I like how they've they've managed to
<v Speaker 1>kind of rope him into this, the Osprey and Moxley stuff.
<v Speaker 1>I'm intrigued. I want to see where the story goes.
<v Speaker 1>I again, I think I think it's leading to a
<v Speaker 1>place that ultimately will send Moxlay to the main event
<v Speaker 1>at Wembley Stadium. To get there, we have to bridge
<v Speaker 1>that gap to get there. This is the story that
<v Speaker 1>they are telling with him. You know, he had that
<v Speaker 1>big match with Moxley. He was out for blood, he
<v Speaker 1>was out for revenge and fucking lost right, and his
<v Speaker 1>neck has betrayed him half the time. He can't even
<v Speaker 1>get cleared to get in the ring. So he is
<v Speaker 1>giving himself up to John Moxley and the Death Riders
<v Speaker 1>to try to find the best version of himself. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure somebody watching this right now will have some sort
<v Speaker 1>of movie analogy, some movie I've not seen that will will.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you'll find some sort of comparison for this.
<v Speaker 1>I just I mentioned the whole Stockholm syndrome thing even
<v Speaker 1>before Joe mentioned it, because that's kind of how it
<v Speaker 1>comes off. You know, He's like bonding with his captors,
<v Speaker 1>and so this is going to be the story until
<v Speaker 1>we get to the Owen final. I do predict that
<v Speaker 1>is my prediction. The rest of the show was it
<v Speaker 1>was fine. I mean, it was solid. I wouldn't say
<v Speaker 1>it was anything great, but it was fine. It was
<v Speaker 1>completely inoffensive. Next week, though, we're getting three hours because
<v Speaker 1>we have two hours of Dynamites back to back with
<v Speaker 1>an hour of Collision kill me now here. I am
<v Speaker 1>celebrating the death of three hour smackdowns sometime in the
<v Speaker 1>next few weeks. We still don't have a date on that,
<v Speaker 1>but it sounds like the era of three hour smackdowns,
<v Speaker 1>at least until next year, is coming to an end.
<v Speaker 1>And now I've got to deal with three hours of
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite on Wednesday. It's terrible, terrible. Should not have three
<v Speaker 1>hours of wrestling, say it all the time. But this
<v Speaker 1>sports schedule, the NCAA stuff or whatever it is, it's
<v Speaker 1>gonna wreak havoc. I think this is gonna happen multiple
<v Speaker 1>times in the month of May with these three hour blocks.
<v Speaker 1>Oh joy, let's get to your super chats here. Dry Chicken,
<v Speaker 1>I see you, says when it comes to wrestling, MJF.
<v Speaker 1>You have to fight fire with fire. That's what the
<v Speaker 1>baby Faces are doing. They're they're hitting him in the dick.
<v Speaker 1>They're kicking him in the dick. You know, they're giving
<v Speaker 1>it right back to him. Yeah, Mad Max, he was
<v Speaker 1>at the show. It came across great on TV. Very hot. Crowd,
<v Speaker 1>especially for that opening match, kind of died in the
<v Speaker 1>middle for some of the stuff, but some of the
<v Speaker 1>stuff in the middle died, so it only makes sense.
<v Speaker 1>But crowd was very loud. That's what happened to me.
<v Speaker 1>You have at least five thousand people in the building
<v Speaker 1>instead of two thousand, Although to be fair, there have
<v Speaker 1>been some aw crowds that have been very small but
<v Speaker 1>very loud. It just depends on the city therein. But
<v Speaker 1>there is a difference between having a crowd of twenty
<v Speaker 1>five hundred people and having a crowd of fifty two hundred,
<v Speaker 1>you know, which is what they had tonight. Cult meet
<v Speaker 1>up we got Edging Christian versus RPG. Weis before GTA six. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Do you still think it's coming out in November? Because
<v Speaker 1>I don't. I'm expecting another delay. Dry Chickens says Oscar
<v Speaker 1>versus EO Sky at Backlash will be the most boring, mundane,
<v Speaker 1>non strong style match on that show. Will they prove
<v Speaker 1>him wrong? I love Oscar and EO, but if only
<v Speaker 1>chef Shawn Michaels was in charge of the main roster,
<v Speaker 1>he would add some more drama and some suspense. Well, look,
<v Speaker 1>Oscar and Eosky, regardless of what's going on with the story,
<v Speaker 1>I think they could be counted on to at least
<v Speaker 1>have a very good match. At least they guaranteed very
<v Speaker 1>good match if they have time. Okay, none of this
<v Speaker 1>seven minute, six minute bullshit. They get time, then they
<v Speaker 1>will have a very good match. Give me backshot, Sola monster,
<v Speaker 1>Would you let me give you a hug if I
<v Speaker 1>see you in public or if you see me in public? No, no,
<v Speaker 1>dry chick. And it's time for Rush to collect aw
<v Speaker 1>gold TNT title, National title, International title, Continental title, World title.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think we have enough titles, guys, I think
<v Speaker 1>we may need more titles. Yeah, I mean my vote
<v Speaker 1>would go with the TNT title. That gets my vote.
<v Speaker 1>Reload the page here, refresh see who else we got.
<v Speaker 1>We got a couple more Chicago for MBK. Thank you
<v Speaker 1>for the two bucks. Dev To dust thoughts on Joe
<v Speaker 1>Buck's commentary in baseball. I mean, you know, he's fine.
<v Speaker 1>He's fine, not like my all time favorite. Ready, He's
<v Speaker 1>no Gary Cohen, but he's fine. Big Hoss says by
<v Speaker 1>Will Cruz stock Solo. He's seen his styles approved. Will Cruz.
<v Speaker 1>Is he that new guy from NXT? I haven't seen
<v Speaker 1>too much of him yet. I think they debuted like
<v Speaker 1>eleven fucking people in one night in NXT. It's hard
<v Speaker 1>to keep track of all these new faces that they
<v Speaker 1>kind of threw out there in one night. They basically
<v Speaker 1>hit the reset button, which they kind of have to
<v Speaker 1>because there's a lot of call ups. I get it.
<v Speaker 1>They're losing Ricky Saints and Ethan Page and Blake Monroe
<v Speaker 1>and Fatal Attraction and who else did they as a
<v Speaker 1>soul Ruca, So they have to hit the reset butt.
<v Speaker 1>That's why Evil is now in NXT, although not by
<v Speaker 1>that name. Evil has arrived. We have EJ. Slimp buy
<v Speaker 1>or Sell, Nicky Bella versus Aja Kang or J C.
<v Speaker 1>Jane versus Manami Toyota. See. I know that all you
<v Speaker 1>Sikko's out there, you would love to see Aja Kang
<v Speaker 1>against Nicky Bella and Nicky Bella would not survive that match. However,
<v Speaker 1>J C. Jane against Manami Toyota is going to get
<v Speaker 1>my vote. I actually think that that would be a
<v Speaker 1>very good match. Don Stoney first time in the solo
<v Speaker 1>Monster live chat and joining the show. Thank you, Don Stony,
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad you are enjoying yourself, and Tuxedo t Servo says,
<v Speaker 1>at least we still have this, Yes, the Kyrie super Chatz.
<v Speaker 1>It's actually very sad now. It makes me very sad.
<v Speaker 1>The only time you're ever going to hear that again
<v Speaker 1>is on the sound off. This is it. It's the
<v Speaker 1>only place you can get it now. Oh, very sad.
<v Speaker 1>But we are at five hundred and eighteen likes and
<v Speaker 1>the goal tonight per the Wheel was four hundred, so
<v Speaker 1>we have eclipsed the goal, believe it or not, and
<v Speaker 1>we are going to go ahead and be the book
<v Speaker 1>doesn't always happen here on Wednesdays. Wednesdays can be very
<v Speaker 1>hit or miss. It's not like the WWE streams. But
<v Speaker 1>we are going to be the booker. So let's go ahead.
<v Speaker 1>Let's do it now, time to be, Let's do it.
<v Speaker 1>Oh Antioch, good to see you. My friend. I hope
<v Speaker 1>you enjoyed the review. Let's get into this be the
<v Speaker 1>booker here. We've had some interesting choices that we have
<v Speaker 1>landed on recently. I would love to get a clean
<v Speaker 1>sweep tonight. I would love to give bells and not
<v Speaker 1>buzzers for all of these matches. So I'm putting some
<v Speaker 1>good energy out there here. I have a good feeling
<v Speaker 1>about this. M or maybe not. I don't know. Have
<v Speaker 1>you seen Okay, I don't want to date myself here,
<v Speaker 1>but there was a period I don't know if they
<v Speaker 1>still do this or not, but there was a period
<v Speaker 1>of time where when there was like a child missing,
<v Speaker 1>they would put their face on the side of a
<v Speaker 1>milk carton. I don't know if that's still a thing anymore,
<v Speaker 1>any kind of milk carton that I've bought. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I have, like, you know, almond milk and stuff like
<v Speaker 1>that that I can have. I've never seen anyone's face
<v Speaker 1>on the side of it, but I'd have to make
<v Speaker 1>an exception for these two men. Where the fuck are
<v Speaker 1>the Creed brothers? I mean, where the hell did they
<v Speaker 1>disappeared to? I have no idea, but well, they've disappeared
<v Speaker 1>here to be the booker. I'm doing a better job
<v Speaker 1>of booking them than w W E is. You know
<v Speaker 1>what I think kill the Creeds. It's when Brutus Creed
<v Speaker 1>hurt Damian Priest and they have not been the same
<v Speaker 1>since the Creed brothers against the Smoking Guns. Man. I
<v Speaker 1>was looking for a star attraction here for this tag
<v Speaker 1>team match. You gave me the Smoking Guns against the Creeds.
<v Speaker 1>What are you doing? That's a colisseum video match. What
<v Speaker 1>are you doing to me? What are we doing here?
<v Speaker 1>We have to have better luck with the women's match, please?
<v Speaker 1>Can we Okay? We have Alexa Bliss. Now, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if you saw. Alexa Bliss did a cameo video
<v Speaker 1>for a fan. It was actually very well done cameo
<v Speaker 1>video and she took the time to talk to this person.
<v Speaker 1>But she mentioned that the Dark Alexa character is officially retired,
<v Speaker 1>so you will not see her as Dark Alexa again
<v Speaker 1>because she feels like it's connected to Bray and so
<v Speaker 1>to preserve that, it's only appropriate that she leave that
<v Speaker 1>in the past. So this will be the only time
<v Speaker 1>that you see Dark Alexa will be here and be
<v Speaker 1>the booker. It's got a drum roll, go in here
<v Speaker 1>find out who her opponent is going to be. We
<v Speaker 1>give you five hundred likes on a Wednesday, and this
<v Speaker 1>is the tag team match you give I didn't give
<v Speaker 1>you anything. I mean, this thing has a mind of
<v Speaker 1>its own. Uh, Lida Lida him be the booker. I
<v Speaker 1>like that match, you know, Lida and Alexa, and that's
<v Speaker 1>a quality match right there. All right, So a little
<v Speaker 1>bit of a recovery there, but it's all how you
<v Speaker 1>finish How are we going to finish this out? Let's
<v Speaker 1>find out? Ooh, you saw him At the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the review, I was playing a little clip from the
<v Speaker 1>match I did commentary for Andrade against Amazing Red from
<v Speaker 1>our first LA show back in January. Man, that match
<v Speaker 1>was a banger. I just showed you a little tease
<v Speaker 1>at the beginning of the stream. Tonight matches over on
<v Speaker 1>the House of Glory YouTube channel for free. You can
<v Speaker 1>go watch it right now, Well not right now, but
<v Speaker 1>when we're done here, androde l Idelo is gonna be
<v Speaker 1>in our main events against Juician thunder Liger. How's that
<v Speaker 1>for a match? How's that for a match? Androde and Liger?
<v Speaker 1>Hell yeah, so we went two for three, all right,
<v Speaker 1>it's not a sweep, but we we ended up doing okay.
<v Speaker 1>We ended up doing okay. You know what, you guys.
<v Speaker 1>You guys came through tonight. You guys came through tonight
<v Speaker 1>on the on the likes. So I'll tell you what
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna do. We're gonna do a bonus round of
<v Speaker 1>be the Booker, just for you guys, just for you
<v Speaker 1>guys hanging around here and killing it on the likes
<v Speaker 1>here on a Wednesday. We're gonna run it back. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna I'm gonna pull a jay usso on you and
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna run it back, only this time you're actually
<v Speaker 1>gonna enjoy it. And we're gonna start with some stipulations.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna add some steps to these matches. That's what
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna do. We're gonna have ourselves a first blood match.
<v Speaker 1>It's right, a bonus round for all of you, all right,
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna have ourselves the first Blood tag team match.
<v Speaker 1>First team to bleed loses, that's how it works. Those
<v Speaker 1>are the rules. FTR. The reigning aw Tag Team Champions
<v Speaker 1>have grace. Oh well, we we already know who's losing
<v Speaker 1>this match. Fucking Dax He's like flame. If you breathe
<v Speaker 1>on him, he starts bleeding. I don't think this match
<v Speaker 1>is going three minutes. First Blood match. Oh wow, FTR
<v Speaker 1>against the Shield, Roman Reigns and Seth Rawleigh. See now,
<v Speaker 1>tell me those belts right there in that image aren't
<v Speaker 1>belts that you would fight for. Those are belts worth
<v Speaker 1>fighting for. Those are what tag team title belts are
<v Speaker 1>supposed to look like. Now were women's match. We need
<v Speaker 1>a stipulation Monsters Ball. Oh I hope we get some
<v Speaker 1>tough ladies in this match because those Monsters balls, those
<v Speaker 1>Monsters balls, those Monsters Ball matches are pretty brutal. You
<v Speaker 1>gotta have the right women in a match like this.
<v Speaker 1>They have to be able to wrestle in the hardcore style. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know about this one. Arianna Grace not somebody
<v Speaker 1>who I would think would be, for example, in a
<v Speaker 1>Hollywood ending type match like Tony Storm and Mariah Mayhand.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see Ariana Grace doing well in a match
<v Speaker 1>like that. I already don't like where this is going.
<v Speaker 1>I already know the button up pushing. Oh wait a minute,
<v Speaker 1>hold on, now, this changes everything. This is the perfect
<v Speaker 1>stipulation for this woman, Tecla, which means we need a tiebreaker.
<v Speaker 1>We have to add one woman to this match and
<v Speaker 1>see if we get a bell or buzzer. Because Techla
<v Speaker 1>see Tecla alone. Tecla would love a monster's ball match.
<v Speaker 1>Ariana Grace, I mean, she'd be in the corner in
<v Speaker 1>the fetal position, crying. We're gonna We're gonna pick one more,
<v Speaker 1>one more woman. We're gonna make it a triple threat.
<v Speaker 1>See Tecla. Tecla changes everything about that. We're definitely giving
<v Speaker 1>this the bell. Holy shit. Now you talk about tough ladies.
<v Speaker 1>What did I say before I even took the first spin?
<v Speaker 1>I said, man, I hope we land on some really
<v Speaker 1>tough women in this match, and I land on May Young.
<v Speaker 1>Holy shit, do May Young and Tecla. These women are
<v Speaker 1>gonna beat the living shit out of each other. It's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be glorious. And Arianna Grace is just gonna sit
<v Speaker 1>in the corner and watch and she'll pick the bones
<v Speaker 1>after they kill each other. This yeah, somehow that's even better. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, Well that saved it. May Young is like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>bring it on, Bring it on, Sonny, bring it on.
<v Speaker 1>And the main event is going to be a lions
<v Speaker 1>Den match. Yeah, Arianna Grace is gonna win. She's gonna
<v Speaker 1>steal the pin. She's gonna win that match. Well, we
<v Speaker 1>got the lions then, all right, here we go. Who's
<v Speaker 1>walking into the lions Den? This should be good. Jeff
<v Speaker 1>Hardy is going to be in the because when I
<v Speaker 1>think of the lions Den, when I think of a
<v Speaker 1>an mm A style cage match, I think of Jeff Hardy.
<v Speaker 1>That's who I think of. This is not gonna end
<v Speaker 1>well for poor Jeff Hardy. Over here, Jeff Hardy and
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker in a lions Den match, I'm picking the
<v Speaker 1>Steiner to win. That's who I'm picking, poor Jeff. Jeff
<v Speaker 1>does have a new submission move, well, it's not going
<v Speaker 1>to be enough to save him, unfortunately, poor Jeff Hardy.
<v Speaker 1>All Right, we got some more super chats here because
<v Speaker 1>we stayed long, so now we got some more messages
<v Speaker 1>to read. I love it. I love it. This is
<v Speaker 1>the last stream of the week, by the way, so
<v Speaker 1>if you got questions and super chats, get him on in.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to be here Friday night. I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to be in Los Angeles. I'm going to be doing
<v Speaker 1>commentary play by play live on Triller TV. Hey, Jason Vega, welcome,
<v Speaker 1>You're joining it just the right time. I'm telling everybody
<v Speaker 1>about the Great House of Glory show on Friday Night,
<v Speaker 1>and I'll be in the booth that we got speaking
<v Speaker 1>of Amazing Red, Amazing Red and Speedball Mike Bailey for
<v Speaker 1>the first time on that show. We're bringing Jonathan Gresham
<v Speaker 1>in to challenge Charles Mason for the hog World title.
<v Speaker 1>Thunder Roses making her debut. We got Zillafat two defending
<v Speaker 1>his titles. Can be hell of a night. So this
<v Speaker 1>will be the final stream of the week. We got EJ.
<v Speaker 1>Slimp says serious question. When Shingo Takagi retires, will he
<v Speaker 1>be remembered more for Dragongate or New Japan? And if
<v Speaker 1>became stateside, which company fits him best? I mean, which
<v Speaker 1>company f it's him best? Probably? Aw which company will
<v Speaker 1>he be remembered more? I mean he spent more time
<v Speaker 1>in dragon Gate. Obviously, me personally, I'll remember him more
<v Speaker 1>for New Japan because I just wasn't following all of
<v Speaker 1>his dragon Gate stuff. If you're a dragon Gate fan,
<v Speaker 1>you probably would say dragon Gate because he spent so
<v Speaker 1>many years there. Yep, we got thunder Roses coming in.
<v Speaker 1>She's gonna be wrestling Britney Brooks. It's gonna be a
<v Speaker 1>good one. We got Crazy wrestling Cody and the Judgment
<v Speaker 1>Day before many of forty you would have been intrigued.
<v Speaker 1>How you are with Osprey joining the Death Riders before
<v Speaker 1>all before all in be impartial? What does that mean?
<v Speaker 1>What does that even mean? The Judgment Day is not
<v Speaker 1>even a ma of infection in this company. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>even sure what comparison you're trying to make here. One
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have anything to do with the other. It's like
<v Speaker 1>people fish around for reasons, like you know, I don't
<v Speaker 1>like this, so therefore nobody can like this. Like, come on, dude,
<v Speaker 1>they're actually telling a story of some sort with will Osprey.
<v Speaker 1>When they don't tell a story, they bitch, they're not
<v Speaker 1>telling a story. When they start telling a story that's
<v Speaker 1>first playing out. Oh, I can't believe they're doing this.
<v Speaker 1>Which is it? It's like a no win It's like
<v Speaker 1>a no win situation. Alex says. If Hog ran a
<v Speaker 1>show Wembley Stadium on the same weekend as WrestleMania, which
<v Speaker 1>show are you covering? You gotta go where the numbers
<v Speaker 1>are going to be, the overall interest is going to
<v Speaker 1>be in WrestleMania. It would be a terrible move on
<v Speaker 1>Aw's part to do that. Don't do that. That would
<v Speaker 1>be a terrible move because even though it might blow
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania away in terms of n ring, I have no
<v Speaker 1>doubt that it would. That would be a horrible decision
<v Speaker 1>on Aw's part. Ryan says thank you Solo, Thank you, Ryan,
<v Speaker 1>thank you, and Devin with a nine to ninety nine
<v Speaker 1>Thank you Devin. Did Will Smith tank his career with
<v Speaker 1>the Oscar slab or can he still be an atalist
<v Speaker 1>actor in the future. No, he didn't tank his career.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, why just because he can't appear at the
<v Speaker 1>Oscars for like ten years or whatever it is, Who
<v Speaker 1>gives a shit. It doesn't stop him from going out
<v Speaker 1>and making quality films. I don't think he he's necessarily
<v Speaker 1>hurting for work. He's not blackballed. Of course, he can
<v Speaker 1>still be an a list actor. I just watching the
<v Speaker 1>other day on one of the channels that movie Enemy
<v Speaker 1>of the State came on with him and Gene Hackman.
<v Speaker 1>I always liked that movie, so I was watching that again.
<v Speaker 1>Will Smith can make Oscar worthy movies and still not attend. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that's boss man he can make. He can
<v Speaker 1>make a quality film and say I'm not showing up.
<v Speaker 1>I don't give a shit. That's a boss move. Solo.
<v Speaker 1>Did you see Batman twenty twenty two? I have not. However,
<v Speaker 1>I am flying to Los Angeles on Friday and I
<v Speaker 1>have it loaded up on my iPad. I actually I
<v Speaker 1>have it downloaded offline in the HBO Max app. So
<v Speaker 1>I think my plan. I never saw the Mortal Kombat
<v Speaker 1>movie from five years ago, like I saw the original
<v Speaker 1>from the nineties. I actually stayed away from the Mortal
<v Speaker 1>Kombat movie from twenty twenty one because people told me
<v Speaker 1>that it was terrible, so I never saw. But now
<v Speaker 1>that I'm going to see the new one, I kind
<v Speaker 1>of feel like, for continuity, I think I probably have
<v Speaker 1>to see the one from five years ago. So I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna watch that on the flight in and then on
<v Speaker 1>the flight home, I'm gonna watch The Batman. So Friday,
<v Speaker 1>Friday or Saturday, I should finally see The Batman and
<v Speaker 1>then I can report back to you. This movie is
<v Speaker 1>two hours and fifty six minutes long. I finally found
<v Speaker 1>a way to kill time on a six hour flight.
<v Speaker 1>I can watch The Batman. This fucking movie is so
<v Speaker 1>long it will kill literally half of my flight from
<v Speaker 1>LA back to New York. But hey, that's okay with me,
<v Speaker 1>don't watch it. Well, even if the Mortal Combat movie
<v Speaker 1>is terrible, this one looks really good this new one.
<v Speaker 1>So that's okay. If this one is terrible, then the
<v Speaker 1>new one will look that much better when I go
<v Speaker 1>see it. Yeah, clay Face looks amazing. I almost don't
<v Speaker 1>want to watch the proper trailer when it because that
<v Speaker 1>was just a teaser trailer and it looks incredible. So
<v Speaker 1>when the official trailer drops, I almost like don't want
<v Speaker 1>to watch it. I want to try to avoid it
<v Speaker 1>because they give so much away in these trailers. Sometimes
<v Speaker 1>they give the whole fucking movie away. That teaser trailer
<v Speaker 1>was just creepy enough to where I kind of want
<v Speaker 1>to keep it creepy where I don't. I don't fully
<v Speaker 1>know what's going on in the movie, but I'll probably
<v Speaker 1>cave end up watching it anyway. Chicago for MBK, have
<v Speaker 1>a great rest of your week. Thank you, brother, you too. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of work to do a lot of
<v Speaker 1>a lot of stuff going on before I head out
<v Speaker 1>on Friday, and then I come back pretty late on Saturday,
<v Speaker 1>and then I got to turn around and do the
<v Speaker 1>show on Sunday. I have no idea how prepared I'll be,
<v Speaker 1>but we will be doing backlash predictions, So even though
<v Speaker 1>we don't have the full card yet, I will be
<v Speaker 1>doing backlash predictions on the podcast on Sunday. Talking about
<v Speaker 1>the news of the week. Actually, there's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>Nick con quotes to talk about and to get into
<v Speaker 1>from this town hall that wwe had the other day,
<v Speaker 1>so we'll talk about that as well. But yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be a very busy week and weekend. So thank
<v Speaker 1>you guys for hanging out with me. Final stream of
<v Speaker 1>the week. I appreciate it again if you have not
<v Speaker 1>already checked it out. My full thoughts on the Hulk
<v Speaker 1>Hogan Netflix docu series is up right now thirty minutes.

<v Speaker 1>always a link to the main sound Off podcast link
<v Speaker 1>and for the on Crime Wrestling show. You're wondering where
<v Speaker 1>to go? Hey Jay Vargas, what's going on? He says,
<v Speaker 1>I lost my grandmother this past Monday at ninety eight
<v Speaker 1>years old due to natural causes, and I do miss
<v Speaker 1>her dearly. Plus I was crying yesterday in dealing with grief.
<v Speaker 1>I'm very sorry to hear about your grandmother. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I can't Unfortunately, you can't relate in my family because
<v Speaker 1>so many of the people in my family didn't even
<v Speaker 1>make it out of their freaking fifties, let alone like sixties.
<v Speaker 1>Sounds like your grandmother lived a nice long life and
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna suck for a while. It's a shitty feeling.
<v Speaker 1>I'm very sorry to hear that. Anyway, be well, stay
<v Speaker 1>safe and come on back on Monday, I guess is
<v Speaker 1>the next time. I'll be here live on the channel,
<v Speaker 1>and we'll see you this weekend for the sound off
<v Speaker 1>as well, and hopefully I get to see some of
<v Speaker 1>you in La. I don't get out to La very often.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully you will be there at the House of Glory show.
<v Speaker 1>There's still some limited tickets available general admission, standing room
<v Speaker 1>only in the balcony as well. No seats, but there's
<v Speaker 1>some standing room only available, So come on down and
<v Speaker 1>we'll shake hands and we'll hang out for a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>Until then, take care
