<v Speaker 1>Jarrey, Katy and Joshi one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Everybody was dressed to the nines. It was put on
<v Speaker 2>by the Griffith Centers and their whole thing is a
<v Speaker 2>nonprofit dedicated to healing and helping people with mental health
<v Speaker 2>and especially children who have any type of behavioral disability
<v Speaker 2>and things like that. And it was such a neat
<v Speaker 2>event to see everybody come here for one cause first
<v Speaker 2>of all, which was to raise money along with the
<v Speaker 2>Griffith Center to help more and more children. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>who doesn't want to do that. And the food, Katie,
<v Speaker 2>the food was amazing. I wanted to go back for seconds.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, are we allowed to do this? It
<v Speaker 2>was so good. It was like this steak and this chicken,
<v Speaker 2>and they had chicken and waffles, which was I went.
<v Speaker 2>I grabbed like four pieces because I was like, it's
<v Speaker 2>so good.
<v Speaker 3>I love it.
<v Speaker 2>And then so many other things. The dessert was amazing.
<v Speaker 2>The drinks obviously the mint julips that everybody has during
<v Speaker 2>the Kentucky Derby. It is the drink of the Kentucky Derby, Apparol,
<v Speaker 2>Spritz is all those other ones. And then the actual
<v Speaker 2>Kentucky Derby, which was one of the craziest events that
<v Speaker 2>happened over the weekend. I mean literally going from dead
<v Speaker 2>last to first place and Golden Tempo was one of
<v Speaker 2>the coolest things to see. The people were so amazing.
<v Speaker 2>I just love the outfits because this is like where
<v Speaker 2>you can be the weirdest, craziest outfits that you can
<v Speaker 2>find you axtra I mean literally flamboyant. Yeah, you can
<v Speaker 2>be flamby. I mean the bright pinks, the yellows, the
<v Speaker 2>women with the big hats, the men with the big hats.
<v Speaker 2>It was just a spectacle to see. Everyone was so
<v Speaker 2>nice there. I met Zach and Jen, who were really
<v Speaker 2>kind of putting on the event. I cannot say enough
<v Speaker 2>about them. They were awesome. Everybody has like hearts of
<v Speaker 2>gold there, and that's that's the coolest thing to see
<v Speaker 2>is everybody there was there to give a lot of money.
<v Speaker 2>I mean one of the things it was also a
<v Speaker 2>live auction there that was going on, and one of
<v Speaker 2>the ways they started off was, hey, let's just see
<v Speaker 2>what happens. Let's start off at donating. This was not
<v Speaker 2>even for a gift, but donating ten thousand dollars and
<v Speaker 2>a hand goes up right away, and I was just like,
<v Speaker 2>oh okay, these pocketbooks are deep. Oh everybody there was
<v Speaker 2>for a good cause and I I it filled my heart.
<v Speaker 2>I loved it. I met a lot of really nice,
<v Speaker 2>neat people there and had a blast.
<v Speaker 4>Man.
<v Speaker 2>I mean it was so much fun to just see
<v Speaker 2>everybody in their outfits.
<v Speaker 3>So it was now, thank Katie for getting you the time, Katie,
<v Speaker 3>very welcome write and tel Katie. Thank you Katie.
<v Speaker 2>I missed you guys though I wanted you to be.
<v Speaker 2>I see. The entire time I was telling my girlfriend,
<v Speaker 2>I was like, you guys would have loved Like, we
<v Speaker 2>need to go back next year, because you guys would
<v Speaker 2>have loved it. It was expect Well was.
<v Speaker 3>At the dry cleaner, so oh yeah all weekends?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, I know, I was.
<v Speaker 6>Actually I was in a surprise birthday party states away.
<v Speaker 6>Otherwise I would have been there because this is an
<v Speaker 6>event that, like you said, it's been around for a
<v Speaker 6>long Emily Griffith Centers, which what it used to be,
<v Speaker 6>has been around for almost one hundred years forever, Katie.
<v Speaker 6>So they've been helping out for a really long time.
<v Speaker 6>So I'm glad you got to go ahead.
<v Speaker 3>How did you meet those people?
<v Speaker 6>Actually I met them through our nonprofit program that we
<v Speaker 6>run here, Colorado Conversations, and so they came and to
<v Speaker 6>talk about their Kentucky Derby party and some other events
<v Speaker 6>that they have throughout the year that raise funds for
<v Speaker 6>their Griffith Centers. And again, they do a lot of
<v Speaker 6>good stuff for kids and folks in our community. So
<v Speaker 6>we're very happy that we're able to hang out.
<v Speaker 3>Will let me know if you talk to them, because
<v Speaker 3>I'll try to go to the next event or something
<v Speaker 3>with him. I'd like to do something with them. Yes,
<v Speaker 3>that kind of stuff feels.
<v Speaker 5>They're great, really in a great organization.
<v Speaker 6>So again, thank you for having us out and letting
<v Speaker 6>us be a part of letting Josh hang out.
<v Speaker 3>I know behind the scenes the only reason he went
<v Speaker 3>was because Katie said free drinks a.
<v Speaker 1>Cause Jary, Katy and Josh Max one hundred.
<v Speaker 7>All right.
<v Speaker 3>I'm hesitant to do this because it is so tired,
<v Speaker 3>so tired Star Wars Day, which, in my opinion, it's
<v Speaker 3>up there with the It's Gonna be May memes, It's
<v Speaker 3>up there with Mario Day, It's up there with the
<v Speaker 3>ugly Christmas sweater parties.
<v Speaker 2>It's tired.
<v Speaker 3>But I know something you love it.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, haply there's something to be said for traditions here.
<v Speaker 3>There is. But we need new things. I'm gonna tell
<v Speaker 3>you right now. I was thinking about this on my
<v Speaker 3>drive in today. I was like, hey, it's me the
<v Speaker 3>fourth Yeah, every year, every year.
<v Speaker 2>Star Wars play Star Wars.
<v Speaker 3>We need new we need new things. You think we
<v Speaker 3>need new days. We just need new things. Everything is
<v Speaker 3>just so repetitive, right. I don't want to sound all crotchy.
<v Speaker 3>I know I am. Oh, but but don't you think
<v Speaker 3>it's like we need to freshen things up a little bit.
<v Speaker 5>It's not crotchety, though, when you want to freshen.
<v Speaker 3>Things up, fresh days, new and excite fresh excitement.
<v Speaker 6>Maybe we could do that. Maybe we could come up
<v Speaker 6>with a list of new holidays we can celebrate for
<v Speaker 6>the year that are you know, unique, that people aren't
<v Speaker 6>all just worn out on. I know, you know, I think, yeah,
<v Speaker 6>I'm with.
<v Speaker 5>You on that.
<v Speaker 6>Like I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan. I know
<v Speaker 6>Josh gets annoyed when I call him. I'm one of
<v Speaker 6>those swords guys, So you know, like, but I get it.
<v Speaker 6>I get what you would want to make things.
<v Speaker 3>You know, I'll play a little Star Wars, Star Wars, Starbucks,
<v Speaker 3>your little Star Wars music. Today, I'll play this, little guy.
<v Speaker 3>There's be a chance to do that. I got some
<v Speaker 3>more audio for you. We'll even play this for you.
<v Speaker 3>Here you go, What day is it?
<v Speaker 1>Do you really not know that I really died?
<v Speaker 3>Here's here's a never told you?
<v Speaker 8>What happens with your father?
<v Speaker 3>He no, I you father will say. It's May fourth.
<v Speaker 2>It's made the fourth. Happy Star Wars Day made the fourth.
<v Speaker 3>Be with you, enjoy Star Wars Day.
<v Speaker 5>Are the Star Wars though it's so time.
<v Speaker 9>A should have probably chopped that down.
<v Speaker 2>It's a little even at the end of it.
<v Speaker 3>I was even tired of it.
<v Speaker 2>Josh.
<v Speaker 3>You know, I can't make too much fun of all
<v Speaker 3>the dorks out there, because I mean, I collect he
<v Speaker 3>man and stuff, so.
<v Speaker 2>I get it.
<v Speaker 3>I get the appeal of collecting things, and holy crap,
<v Speaker 3>I got a ton of Star Wars action figures and
<v Speaker 3>stuff from the late seventies, you know, into the eighties,
<v Speaker 3>Like I've got old school stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Which is so cool.
<v Speaker 3>We just need we need new days, you guys, right, Josh,
<v Speaker 3>we need new days. I had a Star Wars T
<v Speaker 3>shirt on this morning. You told Joe, I had it on.
<v Speaker 5>Why didn't Why this is the day you wear that?
<v Speaker 3>I don't want to look like an idiot today.
<v Speaker 5>You're like, then I want of them.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, you know what, I still want my
<v Speaker 3>wife to find me.
<v Speaker 5>Attractive out with the shirt.
<v Speaker 3>So I took the shirt off and I put a
<v Speaker 3>Van's shirt on today. I was like, that's much more hippy.
<v Speaker 5>You're like, this is this is me?
<v Speaker 3>Enough of my complaining, Josh, what would you to say
<v Speaker 3>about Star Wars Day?
<v Speaker 2>It's I get it. I totally understand where you're coming from. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>we do need new days. But for me, like you
<v Speaker 2>with he Man, I love Star Wars. It's my fandom.
<v Speaker 2>So this makes me very happy. I mean even over
<v Speaker 2>the weekend, my girlfriend gave me a Star Wars cupcake
<v Speaker 2>and she's like, don't eat it till the fourth and
<v Speaker 2>so I have this like massive decorated Star Wars cupcake
<v Speaker 2>waiting for me at home.
<v Speaker 3>It's cute now for her because you guys are still
<v Speaker 3>on the lovey Doby Whoo each other's stage.
<v Speaker 5>Just totally wait, this is your first that's a couple.
<v Speaker 2>Oh we're going all out? Just you wait, Yeah, I
<v Speaker 2>got the star Wars blue milk. Yeah, I mean like
<v Speaker 2>I go all out. I like it. This is my day.
<v Speaker 2>It's fun for me. She had fun with it, and
<v Speaker 2>so we have a bunch of stuff going on. I
<v Speaker 2>will be watching Star Wars later today, like it's you
<v Speaker 2>know what's funny, Jeremy. I also had a shirt on.
<v Speaker 2>I had it, I had it laid out. I didn't
<v Speaker 2>put it on, but I was like, I can't do it.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to go. I got a little self
<v Speaker 2>shame there.
<v Speaker 10>I was.
<v Speaker 3>I'm just gonna throw run errands today after the show
<v Speaker 3>and I go to the DMV today. Don't be tellous.
<v Speaker 3>I'm not gonna sit at the DMV today in a
<v Speaker 3>Star Wars T shirt.
<v Speaker 2>Ye, it's not a question.
<v Speaker 3>Can't do it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, especially on today. Like any other day, I'll throw
<v Speaker 2>on a shirt at Star Wars shirt, I don't care.
<v Speaker 2>But today I was like, I don't know. I don't
<v Speaker 2>think I can do it.
<v Speaker 6>You're opening up the possibility of a lot of unwanted
<v Speaker 6>conversations if you wear a Star Wars shirt today, Like
<v Speaker 6>people will just come up to you and start.
<v Speaker 3>Not really irritating people.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know we had so many songs I know you're.
<v Speaker 5>Really going all out here with the Star Wars theme.
<v Speaker 3>For all the young kids. This is Star Trek. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I was like, this is a Star Wars.
<v Speaker 5>I didn't know.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna know that's going to piss off the Star
<v Speaker 2>Wars fans.
<v Speaker 3>Acomplished around this time, we like to give you a
<v Speaker 3>little p of my action with JKJ here. It makes
<v Speaker 3>it's a positive, a minus, and something interesting to start
<v Speaker 3>your day. Who had the P today?
<v Speaker 2>I got the P today And this one's gonna warm
<v Speaker 2>your heart because Mary Emeric, she is a a US
<v Speaker 2>veteran who is now dealing with PTSD after serving for
<v Speaker 2>a couple of years there. She teamed up with Colorado
<v Speaker 2>School of Minds and several students there along with projects,
<v Speaker 2>serve to help her deal with something. She has a
<v Speaker 2>service dog now that goes with her everywhere to help her,
<v Speaker 2>and she also serves a lot of people and other
<v Speaker 2>nonprofits as well. And she's like, I have a problem.
<v Speaker 2>I have this wagon of things that I bring and
<v Speaker 2>I have so much stuff in here that it gets
<v Speaker 2>really heavy and it's hard to go through doors and
<v Speaker 2>be able to get my dog through them because sometimes
<v Speaker 2>the door closes too quickly. So she teamed up with
<v Speaker 2>Projects Serve and Colorado School of Minds to come up
<v Speaker 2>with an apparatus that her dog, her service dog, can
<v Speaker 2>actually wear, and then it brings the wagon along with
<v Speaker 2>her and she goes. It has made everything so much easier,
<v Speaker 2>for so much better. So these students and I want
<v Speaker 2>to give them a shout out by name because what
<v Speaker 2>they did is awesome. So Hannah Gates, Karuna Owens, Kate Kudlak,
<v Speaker 2>Kira Buck Malter, and Sam Koch.
<v Speaker 3>So what is it?
<v Speaker 2>Teamed up in device that the dog can pull the wagon.
<v Speaker 2>It teamed up and created this device that the dog
<v Speaker 2>can wear. And it's it's an apple. It's it's a
<v Speaker 2>it goes around. No, it's not a rope, it's it's
<v Speaker 2>The picture shows it much better than what I can explain.
<v Speaker 2>But it's this thing that goes around the entire dog
<v Speaker 2>and it's connected to the wagon. So the dog basically
<v Speaker 2>looks like what a horse would wear.
<v Speaker 5>Like a harness to attach to the way.
<v Speaker 6>It's pretty neat and he can pull it so it doesn't,
<v Speaker 6>I guess, have any weight on.
<v Speaker 2>The actual dog.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, wheels and stuff.
<v Speaker 2>It's like, yeah, and what's So cool about this is
<v Speaker 2>these seniors got to do this for their senior capstone
<v Speaker 2>and they actually went back and forth from Nebraska where
<v Speaker 2>Mary lives to get exactly what her vision was and
<v Speaker 2>to create this thing. And they worked with her for
<v Speaker 2>almost their full school year to create this thing. And
<v Speaker 2>then they all showed it off at the senior capstone.
<v Speaker 2>Mary was there and she is so excited to be
<v Speaker 2>able to use this now because she is serving others
<v Speaker 2>along with her and her little service dog. And I
<v Speaker 2>love this story because all these seniors got to help
<v Speaker 2>work with veterans. And I love being able to help
<v Speaker 2>the veterans in any way that we can.
<v Speaker 5>Oh, and thank you Mary for your service.
<v Speaker 2>Ye, it's just very sweet.
<v Speaker 5>All right?
<v Speaker 6>Well, McDonald's is bringing us the minus today because what
<v Speaker 6>the heck are they doing with their beverage stations?
<v Speaker 5>Are you here?
<v Speaker 3>This about this too?
<v Speaker 2>This is this is horrible.
<v Speaker 6>It is horrible. And they say by twenty thirty two
<v Speaker 6>they're gonna move away from the self service beverage stations.
<v Speaker 5>Is that we all knowing law for the.
<v Speaker 3>One time year go to McDonald's. I want to walk
<v Speaker 3>up and get me some most sodis props.
<v Speaker 1>You you have.
<v Speaker 5>Your meal, and then right.
<v Speaker 6>Before you leave, you fill up your soda cup. I'm
<v Speaker 6>right there with you. You're not going to be able
<v Speaker 6>to do that anymore. Doing the soda stuff is going
<v Speaker 6>to be designated through the actual employees. So if you
<v Speaker 6>want soda, the employee is gonna have to get it
<v Speaker 6>for you and give.
<v Speaker 3>It to you.
<v Speaker 6>Give free refills, you can, but you're gonna have to
<v Speaker 6>go through the the person.
<v Speaker 5>And not only that, but a lot of.
<v Speaker 6>McDonald's are privately owned, and so it's all gonna be
<v Speaker 6>determined based on the individual ownership. So not all McDonald's
<v Speaker 6>will have free refills, and so it's not going to
<v Speaker 6>be consistent, which is something we love about McDonald It's
<v Speaker 6>usually consistent across the board. Right, So, yeah, this is
<v Speaker 6>definitely causing some ruckus in the McDonald's community.
<v Speaker 5>And I just want to.
<v Speaker 6>Point out personally, they put in all those fun little
<v Speaker 6>machines where you get to like add cherry to your sprite.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, you touch screens.
<v Speaker 6>Why did they do that if they're just gonna take
<v Speaker 6>it away from it? Why give it to us if
<v Speaker 6>you're just gonna take it away?
<v Speaker 3>How rude?
<v Speaker 2>You know what?
<v Speaker 3>I don't like this is We stop it a lot
<v Speaker 3>of times on our road trips at McDonald's because you
<v Speaker 3>can zip in and you know, have a bathroom break
<v Speaker 3>while you're there. Yeah, you know, grab yourself a little
<v Speaker 3>something something for the road, you know, then you hit
<v Speaker 3>the soda machine right before you leave and top off exactly,
<v Speaker 3>and then it's not gonna be there. And I get
<v Speaker 3>the aspect. Did you see this in the story because
<v Speaker 3>they're worried about like the cleanliness factors started.
<v Speaker 6>During COVID nineteen, That's where all this started. And then
<v Speaker 6>they just saw not only was it helping with hygiene,
<v Speaker 6>but their bottom line as well because the price point
<v Speaker 6>all the wasted soda with people who are just like you.
<v Speaker 5>Know, then there is.
<v Speaker 6>But I imagine it's not going to be lessened a
<v Speaker 6>whole lot by letting employees handle all of it.
<v Speaker 2>They will know.
<v Speaker 3>Have you seen the public go up there and just
<v Speaker 3>you know, I get it, lean over and drink out
<v Speaker 3>of the fi.
<v Speaker 6>I just feel like this, like they're gonna get so
<v Speaker 6>many pushbacks. I wonder if it's gonna be worth it,
<v Speaker 6>because already in this room, we're all mad. Guess who's
<v Speaker 6>going to Wendy's exactly.
<v Speaker 5>You know, that's what people will.
<v Speaker 3>Do to junior bacons. There you go, there you go.
<v Speaker 3>All right, well, let's wrap things up with the interesting.
<v Speaker 3>This one made me giggle, and Katie, I'm wondering if
<v Speaker 3>you're dealing this with your daughter. But gen Z is
<v Speaker 3>now being called the Christopher Columbus generation because they keep
<v Speaker 3>discovering things that have already existed. The latest one is
<v Speaker 3>silent walking, which is going for a walk without your phone.
<v Speaker 3>You mean, like the nineties.
<v Speaker 6>Christopher Columbus, Yeah, the Christopher.
<v Speaker 3>Have you guys heard of these hot pockets? Whyt quitting
<v Speaker 3>is in there, which is what people have done for years.
<v Speaker 3>They just discovered coke floats, which have been around since
<v Speaker 3>the eighteen hundred.
<v Speaker 6>I know, and they think it is if you put
<v Speaker 6>ice cream in your soda, it's like an amazing upgrade.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my god, have you even tried it? Other things
<v Speaker 3>like they're discovering digital cameras. They've recently discovered wired headphones. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>and CDs and cassettes and records.
<v Speaker 6>How about the little girl who went viral on TikTok,
<v Speaker 6>who was like, here's an idea work with Like now
<v Speaker 6>hear me out right? A phone we all share it
<v Speaker 6>and it stays in the house.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, brilliant, it's happening right now. What is happening there?
<v Speaker 3>You go, guys, as you're positive your minus and definitely
<v Speaker 3>something a little interesting and super annoying with JKJ here
<v Speaker 3>at moos.
<v Speaker 1>Kadi and Joshi one hundred.
<v Speaker 3>All right, so, by far, the biggest news of the
<v Speaker 3>morning is just enjoy the weather. Today mid seventies is
<v Speaker 3>gonna be a beautiful day. And then the bottom falls
<v Speaker 3>out starting a little bit later this evening. I believe
<v Speaker 3>they say it's gonna be like a seventy two hour
<v Speaker 3>little spell that hits us. Snow is coming forty eight
<v Speaker 3>inches forty eight four to eight inches Jeremy five to
<v Speaker 3>ten down south where I'm at, so oh, that should
<v Speaker 3>be a fun drive in. And then uh, you know,
<v Speaker 3>two feet plus up in the mountains. I don't know
<v Speaker 3>why they keep pinpointing Estes Park, but they're saying two
<v Speaker 3>feet plus. I had just taken off some netting on
<v Speaker 3>some big trees I have in my backyard. I just
<v Speaker 3>took them off this weekend because the snow like bends
<v Speaker 3>them over. And they're saying b where because this is
<v Speaker 3>limb snapping weather.
<v Speaker 6>Well, yeah, this is power lines heavy spring snow type stuff.
<v Speaker 5>That has a lot of the water moisture in it.
<v Speaker 5>So we're gonna see it just very sweat and sloppy
<v Speaker 5>and just see.
<v Speaker 3>I hate it like the spring snow. But you know what,
<v Speaker 3>say it.
<v Speaker 5>Say it.
<v Speaker 3>I'm not gonna say it. Say it. My lawn will
<v Speaker 3>say thank you.
<v Speaker 6>I say it, Oh, thank you Earth?
<v Speaker 7>Oh?
<v Speaker 3>What else is going on? Rockies were swept over the weekend.
<v Speaker 3>But the Avs holy crap, nine to six win over Minnesota.
<v Speaker 5>Take that there, wild.
<v Speaker 3>They did real good.
<v Speaker 2>It was the Oprah meme you get a goal, you
<v Speaker 2>get a goal, you get.
<v Speaker 3>A goal scoring game. Other stuff going on, good God.
<v Speaker 3>Gas prices the national average as of yesterday it was
<v Speaker 3>four forty four a gallon for regular. It's up more
<v Speaker 3>than thirty cents from last week. They say this is
<v Speaker 3>a big deal for people. Right now. People are driving
<v Speaker 3>less because of the gas prices. They've slashed household expense.
<v Speaker 3>They're changing their travel destination or vacation plans. It's going
<v Speaker 3>to be expensive.
<v Speaker 2>I filled up yesterday and after the show today I
<v Speaker 2>will be going to our boss task for a raise. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it was at.
<v Speaker 3>Cars this weekend because I hate my truck. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 3>hate it.
<v Speaker 5>You've complaining about it since you got it.
<v Speaker 3>I went back and looked at F one fifties and
<v Speaker 3>then I remember they got that thirty six gallon fuel tank.
<v Speaker 3>So I'm not going to do that. But I was
<v Speaker 3>looking at, you know, just options. When it comes to
<v Speaker 3>the gas mileage and stuff, I'm like, man, it is
<v Speaker 3>it's not getting any better.
<v Speaker 6>Well, you're at least taking it into consideration when you're
<v Speaker 6>purchasing a vehicle, because it's You're right, there seems to
<v Speaker 6>be no relief, and we thought we'd get somebody.
<v Speaker 2>Now.
<v Speaker 3>That's the one thing I love about my Barbie truck
<v Speaker 3>is that it is it's good on gas mileage. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>but my head hits the ceiling. So I'm leaning for Runner.
<v Speaker 3>You guys, that's the best decision you'll ever make me.
<v Speaker 2>Good.
<v Speaker 5>Move on your like the Forerunners?
<v Speaker 3>Ye, so you will?
<v Speaker 2>Oh god, oh that makes me so happy.
<v Speaker 3>Katie needs a car too. You want to go a
<v Speaker 3>car shopping?
<v Speaker 11>Right?
<v Speaker 6>You know what, why don't we like let's Barbie truck.
<v Speaker 5>We can make a deal happen, right, let's go.
<v Speaker 3>Speaking of money, Devil wears Prada to seventy seven million
<v Speaker 3>during its debut weekend, uh exceeding projections. They say it
<v Speaker 3>actually did pretty darn good. Post Malone has canceled the
<v Speaker 3>start of his stadium tour with Jelly. Total of six
<v Speaker 3>shows are going to be refunded. Tour is now going
<v Speaker 3>to kick off June twelfth in Indianapolis. He says, I
<v Speaker 3>need more time to finish my double album before the
<v Speaker 3>tour starts. But behind the scenes, and if you've been
<v Speaker 3>keeping track of this, ticket sales have been in the
<v Speaker 3>toilet for this show. And I don't know why, say
<v Speaker 3>I am, I don't know why.
<v Speaker 6>I am absolutely shocked because I know when post Malone
<v Speaker 6>announced that he was going to do a stadium show
<v Speaker 6>and he was teaming up a Jelly roll, I mean,
<v Speaker 6>people were beyond exciting.
<v Speaker 3>They were at mile high.
<v Speaker 10>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>But the thing is they did it last year. I
<v Speaker 2>think that's why it's the same thing. I mean two
<v Speaker 2>years in a row. He's like, nothing changes. Neither one
<v Speaker 2>of them have come out with a new album since then.
<v Speaker 2>A couple of singles, but.
<v Speaker 3>My Postman that I have been on a post Malone
<v Speaker 3>kiss's great on my Apple Music.
<v Speaker 2>It has just been nons. Ah. Yeah, you listening to
<v Speaker 2>old posty, rap posty or country posts.
<v Speaker 5>Okay, I like it post period.
<v Speaker 3>Hey, let me give you one more thing for your
<v Speaker 3>old aunt and grandma. The United States Postal Service has
<v Speaker 3>announced the new release this summer Barbie stamps are coming.
<v Speaker 5>Okay, now, now you got my attention.
<v Speaker 3>It'll feature different Barbie dolls throughout the years, dressed for
<v Speaker 3>ten iconic careers and looks. Imagine a time, Katie, when
<v Speaker 3>that was a popular song.
<v Speaker 5>I remember when that was a popular song.
<v Speaker 6>You remember that when that song would come on the radio,
<v Speaker 6>you would automatically roll down your windows and turn it
<v Speaker 6>all the way up. Because even if remember when yes
<v Speaker 6>could come back when it was trendy to be a
<v Speaker 6>Barbie girl, different time, even you were a Barbie girl,
<v Speaker 6>you were.
<v Speaker 3>I had the album Girl, I had the album. Oh lord,
<v Speaker 3>it was a different time.
<v Speaker 5>Lapping plastic.
<v Speaker 3>Do you have any more sports?
<v Speaker 2>We do a little bit. Yeah. The Kentucky Derby was
<v Speaker 2>over this weekend and Golden Tempo is the big winner
<v Speaker 2>of twenty three to one odds, but Shari de Vaux
<v Speaker 2>really took center stage here as she is the first
<v Speaker 2>woman trainer ever to win the big one in the
<v Speaker 2>Kentucky Derby.
<v Speaker 4>I'm quite overwhelmed, to be honest, as in, you know,
<v Speaker 4>I keep getting they has it set in, No, it hasn't.
<v Speaker 4>A lot has been made about a female trainer winning
<v Speaker 4>the Kentucky Derby, and I'm honored that I get to
<v Speaker 4>be that person. And I hope this just paves the
<v Speaker 4>way for any other little girl with big dreams or woman.
<v Speaker 6>With big dreams.
<v Speaker 4>I always thought that the guy was the limit. Now
<v Speaker 4>really truly is the limit.
<v Speaker 2>One of the coolest things is that there's a camera
<v Speaker 2>that stays on the trainer and the owner during the
<v Speaker 2>entire race, and to see her reaction as she starts
<v Speaker 2>dead last, I mean Golden Tempo was dead last and
<v Speaker 2>then slowly makes his way up the pack to the
<v Speaker 2>front and it finishes in first place. The emotion on
<v Speaker 2>her face was so cool. She is actually a very
<v Speaker 2>I know you're making those noises. She is actually a
<v Speaker 2>very qualified trainer. Though she has two hundred and ninety
<v Speaker 2>seven first place finishes, which totals in almost thirty three
<v Speaker 2>million dollars in prize money. And then she also took
<v Speaker 2>down a very pretty package payday on Saturday as she
<v Speaker 2>won three hundred and ten thousand dollars because she gets
<v Speaker 2>ten percent of that three point one horse.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so shout out always.
<v Speaker 3>The barn's always dirty though, and everybody's being there leaving
<v Speaker 3>their hay layer.
<v Speaker 6>Somebody's got a clean they seriously, if she did it,
<v Speaker 6>it would never get that barn is a man, yeah,
<v Speaker 6>and it would.
<v Speaker 5>Stay a mess if she didn't say something.
<v Speaker 3>Hey, everywhere in here.
<v Speaker 5>She's a legend.
<v Speaker 3>What's that smith?
<v Speaker 5>Come on, hats off to her.
<v Speaker 3>Pick up your saddle.
<v Speaker 2>She's always nagging.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, as she should. Someone's got to do it.
<v Speaker 3>Some of the best horses names throughout the years. Mister
<v Speaker 3>frisky Homeboy, Chris, I can't say that one. I can't
<v Speaker 3>say that one.
<v Speaker 5>Well, it's the one, the BC boy one this year,
<v Speaker 5>right right.
<v Speaker 3>Sir, b Bum Yeah, Doctor Devious Corn off the cob.
<v Speaker 3>There's been some great sinister minister, Yeah, that's funny.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, there's good names.
<v Speaker 6>Okay, this is really good news with the snow that
<v Speaker 6>we just talked about, because a basin is going to
<v Speaker 6>stay open.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 6>So again there's a lot of snow is supposed to
<v Speaker 6>hit this week, as we just said, so that's supposed
<v Speaker 6>to help matters, But I wonder if other resort resorts
<v Speaker 6>are going to do the same thing. A Basin just
<v Speaker 6>put out a statement on Saturday. They're like, after fourteen
<v Speaker 6>inches of snow this week, we've decided to give the
<v Speaker 6>people what they want, more time at the legend mother
<v Speaker 6>nature provided and so shell.
<v Speaker 5>The basin and we need the money. They need the money, money,
<v Speaker 5>what more weekending?
<v Speaker 6>And I hurt anybody, but yeah, you know what, A
<v Speaker 6>lot of skiers were bummed out that this season was
<v Speaker 6>so short and really nognt on existent in a lot
<v Speaker 6>of spots. So I know that there's going to be
<v Speaker 6>a lot of people heading up to the High Country
<v Speaker 6>this weekend. There you go a Basin. Water World considered.
<v Speaker 5>One of the best water parks in the country.
<v Speaker 3>We were just talking about water World this weekend because
<v Speaker 3>my kids really want to go.
<v Speaker 6>Oh yeah, and it's mostly like because they did a
<v Speaker 6>lot of revamps to it. Well, they redid a lot
<v Speaker 6>of stuff. I know you are, but maybe your kids
<v Speaker 6>can tell you about it. Because USA Today says they're
<v Speaker 6>number five when it comes onto the list of top ten.
<v Speaker 6>So it's picked by a panel of water park experts.
<v Speaker 3>How do you get on that I know that's splash tastic.
<v Speaker 5>It really does.
<v Speaker 6>So last year we were number two on this list,
<v Speaker 6>so we did fall a few spots, but still representing
<v Speaker 6>in Colorado.
<v Speaker 5>I love it.
<v Speaker 3>I am due to go back. I haven't been to
<v Speaker 3>water World. This is the eighties. Probably that eighties series
<v Speaker 3>I probably do to get back.
<v Speaker 5>I guess maybe a couple radio events there.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like we might have. But you know what
<v Speaker 3>you got in I be water since the eighties. Okay,
<v Speaker 3>that makes sure they'll bring the family's there and see,
<v Speaker 3>you need.
<v Speaker 6>To at least test out the waters a little bit,
<v Speaker 6>especially the new stuff.
<v Speaker 5>There you go, there, you go.
<v Speaker 6>Well, USA today says out of the country, this is
<v Speaker 6>where you want to do it. Okay, we've got a
<v Speaker 6>top spot right here in Colorado. Did you see this one,
<v Speaker 6>the U haul that crashed into the restaurant. Oh my goodness.
<v Speaker 6>So it was that Olim Parks the restaurant there just
<v Speaker 6>off seventeenth in Park Avenue in downtown.
<v Speaker 5>Kind of a.
<v Speaker 6>Sad situation because there are apartments upstairs. Nobody was hurt,
<v Speaker 6>but they did drive right into a support beam on
<v Speaker 6>the building. You've got the restaurant downstairs, all the apartments upstairs.
<v Speaker 6>So it's kind of a situation where they're gonna have
<v Speaker 6>they start a puzzle exactly. Yes, you don't want to
<v Speaker 6>do all that, but the driver might have had a
<v Speaker 6>medical emergency, so they're not sure what happened in that
<v Speaker 6>whole situation, but so kind of crazy that it.
<v Speaker 5>Just, you know, somebody driving right.
<v Speaker 3>Into a rest getting a meat balls.
<v Speaker 6>Absolutely well, they said the bartender was they drove right
<v Speaker 6>into the bar, and so the bartender was outside servicing
<v Speaker 6>some tables, and they said it could have been a
<v Speaker 6>lot worse if he was actually.
<v Speaker 5>Behind the bar was supposed to be.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, look, support.
<v Speaker 6>Here's the other thing about this is Alliam Parks, the
<v Speaker 6>person who owns that also owns an Italian restaurant in
<v Speaker 6>that same area.
<v Speaker 5>They just suffered a fire.
<v Speaker 6>So this poor guy, one of his restaurants got burned down,
<v Speaker 6>and so they're trying to refurbish that whole thing. And
<v Speaker 6>now a U haul crashing into this restaurant, so he's
<v Speaker 6>gonna have to take some time to good.
<v Speaker 3>Things to come. Now. I know you've had two bad
<v Speaker 3>ones and now it's you're gonna do nothing but uphill.
<v Speaker 6>Exactly exactly apartment unless the apartment.
<v Speaker 5>They're gonna have.
<v Speaker 3>To bad day.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, that puzzle on that roy if you're doing a
<v Speaker 6>puzzle on rollerskates, So.
<v Speaker 5>Really, who does that?
<v Speaker 3>Publishing it?
<v Speaker 5>Oh? Okay, you polish your ball often chair.
<v Speaker 3>To think of other things round that would be, and
<v Speaker 3>leave your watermelon on the counter on.
<v Speaker 5>The counter, okay.
<v Speaker 6>And then this last one, the Denver Zoo temporary closed
<v Speaker 6>uhls yesterday.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah it's so.
<v Speaker 6>It is back open now, but it just closed for
<v Speaker 6>the afternoon yesterday because of a threat that somebody phoned
<v Speaker 6>in something that's happening all around the country.
<v Speaker 5>Who is doing that? Who decided it was a good
<v Speaker 5>idea to call in threat?
<v Speaker 6>And it was enough serious, nothing serious, It was enough
<v Speaker 6>for them to want to check it out.
<v Speaker 3>Who was it? The laughing hyenas?
<v Speaker 5>Ah?
<v Speaker 6>Well, thankfully again, as you said, the Zoo's back open,
<v Speaker 6>open for business regular operations.
<v Speaker 3>And yeah, cheer me.
<v Speaker 5>Here's my high heights. There are always.
<v Speaker 3>It is time. It's the first one of the week.
<v Speaker 3>It's fast five. It's our fun think quick game. If
<v Speaker 3>you've never played, well, come on, let's try to call in.

<v Speaker 6>one name, or five different kinds of dinosaurs. The one
<v Speaker 6>that want it on Friday was five things that you
<v Speaker 6>find in the garage that start with the letter S.
<v Speaker 6>And it was Aaron who came in and grabbed that
<v Speaker 6>wind for Fast five on Friday.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, wasn't he like a shaker And simple syrup and
<v Speaker 3>he was like all this alcohol.
<v Speaker 6>Oh I know exactly, like all over the place, thing
<v Speaker 6>that you could find in the garage, but outside the box.

<v Speaker 6>gives you the backstory of singles and stuff.

<v Speaker 12>That's a model, or.

<v Speaker 8>I am with that.

<v Speaker 13>Ah so close? The Raptors, that's right.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, you changed it last year.
<v Speaker 13>The Rafts We fly. Sure if I would have realized
<v Speaker 13>I was on, I would have just gone faster.
<v Speaker 3>Oh well, all right, all right, I think you're gonna
<v Speaker 3>this one's very subjective. I like the subjective ones. Are
<v Speaker 3>you ready? Are you focused this time? Because this is
<v Speaker 3>all you all right?
<v Speaker 13>I am focused this time.
<v Speaker 3>With the price of gas right now, give me five

<v Speaker 3>Five things you might give up to buy gas, go.
<v Speaker 7>Alcohol, going out to eat, tobacco, lottery, tickets, massages, laundry service, travel.
<v Speaker 3>Why do I feel like that is like all your vices,
<v Speaker 3>that you just listen to alcohol, tobacco and getting a
<v Speaker 3>good rub down.
<v Speaker 5>I can't do anything fun anymore.
<v Speaker 3>I can't go to the massage parlor anymore. Jake, guess what, buddy,
<v Speaker 3>you won Hey, Jake, Jake from State Farm, you did good, got.

<v Speaker 7>All right, fantastic, Thanks guys.
<v Speaker 3>Wow who that one went a minute man, So we'll
<v Speaker 3>do all easy ones tomorrow with Jak, Jerry, Katy and
<v Speaker 3>Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 6>My sister was planning a surprise birthday party for our
<v Speaker 6>little baby brother, Bubba.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, so he was having a surprise party.
<v Speaker 6>It's not even his birthday is an until Wednesday, so
<v Speaker 6>it really was kind of last minute. And so my
<v Speaker 6>best friend and I Wifey got to come for to
<v Speaker 6>my hometown for the very first time that she's ever
<v Speaker 6>been there either. We've been best friends for gosh twenty
<v Speaker 6>two years now, and she's never been to my hometown
<v Speaker 6>in North Dakota, so that was the first time that
<v Speaker 6>she got to go back. Her and my brother are
<v Speaker 6>good friend they are so tight, so that was fun
<v Speaker 6>to like when he actually got surprised used to buy us.
<v Speaker 6>He saw me and then he saw my best friend.
<v Speaker 6>He's like, what the heck are you two doing here?
<v Speaker 6>Like it literally was like that. But it was funny
<v Speaker 6>because we flew into my little hometown of North Dakota,
<v Speaker 6>and the entire time I thought I was surprising everybody,
<v Speaker 6>Like when we booked our tickets and we're like, we're
<v Speaker 6>gonna fly in.
<v Speaker 5>To little little North Dakota.
<v Speaker 6>I just told my mom and my sister because my
<v Speaker 6>sister was throwing the party, and my mom would be
<v Speaker 6>mad at me if I didn't tell her I was
<v Speaker 6>bringing a guest home, you know what I mean, Like
<v Speaker 6>if I just showed up with somebody and was like, hey, Mom,
<v Speaker 6>she'd be so mad at me. So I gave my
<v Speaker 6>mom a heads up and my sister a heads up
<v Speaker 6>that I'd be coming into town. But I told my mom.
<v Speaker 6>I was like, don't tell anybody I'm coming. I want
<v Speaker 6>to surprise everybody for Bubba's birthday, right, And so I
<v Speaker 6>fly into town and we are staying at the hotel
<v Speaker 6>the first night, so my brother doesn't know we're there,
<v Speaker 6>And we met my mom out at a little bar
<v Speaker 6>that she frequents my brother does and go there so
<v Speaker 6>we wouldn't ruin the surprise, right, But like there's a
<v Speaker 6>bunch of people out there who I thought i'd be
<v Speaker 6>surprising as well, because I told my mom not to
<v Speaker 6>tell anybody i'd be coming out, right. So we show
<v Speaker 6>up to the bar and I was just like surprise.
<v Speaker 6>I'm like, yeah, I'm in town, just surprising Bubba. And
<v Speaker 6>everybody's like, oh, your mom told us you were coming here.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I figured your mom probably I'm mom king.
<v Speaker 6>He has secret to save her life. So everybody in
<v Speaker 6>town but Bubba knew I was coming.
<v Speaker 3>So it kind of sucks for you because I know
<v Speaker 3>how you were like an attention hound, and so you're
<v Speaker 3>probably like, I'm gonna surprise everybody, and they're gonna love it.
<v Speaker 3>They already knew it, so it probably was a big letdown.
<v Speaker 6>It was a big letdown, but not because I'm an
<v Speaker 6>attention hog.
<v Speaker 5>It's just because I've come on.
<v Speaker 6>I went through a lot of effort to surprise people
<v Speaker 6>like you don't get that opportunity often, and so that
<v Speaker 6>was what bought me out.
<v Speaker 5>And so I like, my mom's like, well I didn't
<v Speaker 5>tell your brother. I'm like, good because it's for.
<v Speaker 3>Him somebody else, somebody else.
<v Speaker 6>It Actually it actually worked out well. He didn't get
<v Speaker 6>you know, privy to the surprise until it actually happened.
<v Speaker 6>But it's just so funny, just even you know, doing
<v Speaker 6>something like that and all the things, all the working
<v Speaker 6>pieces of it.
<v Speaker 5>Right. But it was fun because like my brother, he's not.
<v Speaker 6>Married, he doesn't have any kids or anything, and he's
<v Speaker 6>the baby of the family, so he gets like.
<v Speaker 5>Babied a lot, right.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, and my sister especially, like she likes to baby
<v Speaker 6>my little brother. And so for all of his friends
<v Speaker 6>to be in a hotel banquet waiting for him to
<v Speaker 6>walk in, you know, it was just fun.
<v Speaker 5>It was a fun time. So we had a blast.
<v Speaker 3>We just did. Yeah. Was it good to be back
<v Speaker 3>in like a small hometown for you? Like, did you
<v Speaker 3>have any inkling to move away, to move back or
<v Speaker 3>nothing like that out there?
<v Speaker 5>No, why are you asking me to move?
<v Speaker 3>No, I'm just curious because I know, like when we
<v Speaker 3>go back to a small town Iowa, you know area,
<v Speaker 3>we're like, man, just life's a little slower, it's a
<v Speaker 3>little quieter, yeah, a little more peaceful.
<v Speaker 6>But you go back for a vacation, I go back
<v Speaker 6>in all of the memories of growing up in a
<v Speaker 6>small town come flooding.
<v Speaker 2>To my face.
<v Speaker 6>So That's the thing is I grew up in a
<v Speaker 6>very very small town, and I have all those memories already.
<v Speaker 5>I know what it's like to live there.
<v Speaker 6>It's one thing to go back and be there for
<v Speaker 6>a week and you have the slow pace life that
<v Speaker 6>seems like it's such a change from what you're doing,
<v Speaker 6>But when you have to live that day.
<v Speaker 5>In and day out, it's different. It's different.
<v Speaker 6>It's like when you're trying to get to the post
<v Speaker 6>office and the person in front of you has no
<v Speaker 6>reason to hurry, right.
<v Speaker 3>And then you get to the post office and that
<v Speaker 3>person's out, you know, back wandering around or something. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>on break.
<v Speaker 6>So how funny when we went to the hotel right
<v Speaker 6>like we were going to check into our hotel, and
<v Speaker 6>there was nobody at the front desk, There was nobody
<v Speaker 6>at the little bar area exactly, there was nobody there.
<v Speaker 6>And then all of a sudden, we look and we
<v Speaker 6>see there's a phone hanging on the wall and it
<v Speaker 6>says please pick up the phone for assistance. So we
<v Speaker 6>picked up the phone, and the phone at the front
<v Speaker 6>desk started ringing literally where we're at, and we're like,
<v Speaker 6>what what this?
<v Speaker 11>Even Doe behind the desk and we were there for
<v Speaker 11>fifteen minutes until somebody finally came down and they were
<v Speaker 11>cleaning the room upstairs, because not only do they check
<v Speaker 11>people in, they clean it and they help land the
<v Speaker 11>planes at.
<v Speaker 5>The airport in their spare.
<v Speaker 3>Time, like.
<v Speaker 6>Exactly, get you an, the small town feel is great
<v Speaker 6>until you live there.
<v Speaker 5>You have to buy those small town rules.
<v Speaker 6>And so I think the one like it does what
<v Speaker 6>I'd like is you can see the stars from my town,
<v Speaker 6>Like when you look at the sky, you can see
<v Speaker 6>every single star in it, and that brings me so
<v Speaker 6>much joy. And then like everybody says hi to you.
<v Speaker 6>That's also the thing is like you forget that, like
<v Speaker 6>everybody greets you, you know, and so it's that's almost
<v Speaker 6>a little exhaust scene in itself, but it's also kind
<v Speaker 6>of you know, it's sweet. It's charming because there's a
<v Speaker 6>charm to it.
<v Speaker 3>Leave your front door unlocked, leaves do.
<v Speaker 5>That, they'll still steal your car.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah you're in.
<v Speaker 5>You can't do that.
<v Speaker 3>And ask you, did you uh did you go back
<v Speaker 3>and rekindle any uh any relationships or anything from anybody
<v Speaker 3>from my high school?
<v Speaker 5>Or that's not what I go home for.
<v Speaker 3>Did he cross your mind.
<v Speaker 6>Now that's what I left. No, there's nobody there. There's
<v Speaker 6>even if I did think about it for a small second.
<v Speaker 6>There's literally nobody there. Nobody there that I would even.
<v Speaker 5>It's funny.
<v Speaker 6>So my best friend and I again, she came with
<v Speaker 6>me to my hometown and her and I went to
<v Speaker 6>the bar that I when I did go home and
<v Speaker 6>go to the bar, there was one I went to
<v Speaker 6>specifically where a bunch of people my age went to.
<v Speaker 6>I went to see one specific person, but it was
<v Speaker 6>a girl, and it was just to you know.
<v Speaker 5>Like I was hoping, I don't know, like.
<v Speaker 3>To make out. No.
<v Speaker 5>No, she's just not my favorite person. So I was like.
<v Speaker 6>You and you got fat, I'm gonna laugh at you. Sorry,
<v Speaker 6>well no, but really like you when I move up.
<v Speaker 3>With her to see if she looked horrible.
<v Speaker 5>No, I did not meet up with her.
<v Speaker 6>I want to see her just so she can see me.
<v Speaker 5>And yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 6>So that's the only person I wanted to see, and
<v Speaker 6>it was I did not meet up, but like literally
<v Speaker 6>wanted to see her. Like, didn't meet her.
<v Speaker 5>I wanted to see.
<v Speaker 3>Her so I could fletch until you saw her.
<v Speaker 5>No, did not see her.
<v Speaker 6>No, I didn't end up seeing her, but she's the
<v Speaker 6>one person I wanted to see so I could be like,
<v Speaker 6>you know, yeah.
<v Speaker 3>That's weird, No it's not. I I hope Tina's there
<v Speaker 3>because I'm fabulous.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Katie and Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 3>Katie, you got a little set up for us for this.
<v Speaker 3>What have you not outgrown? Right?
<v Speaker 10>Yeah?
<v Speaker 6>Again? Over the weekend, I went and surprised my brother
<v Speaker 6>in North Dakota for his birthday, and it was.
<v Speaker 5>Just so fun to see him.
<v Speaker 6>He wasn't expecting to have a big party thrown for
<v Speaker 6>him and all the presents that came his way and whatnot,
<v Speaker 6>but there were a few things that really just turned
<v Speaker 6>him into a little kid, and one of them was
<v Speaker 6>the hot wheels. Like that just caught me off guard.
<v Speaker 6>I didn't expect him to get on the ground and
<v Speaker 6>start playing with the hot wheels and him and his friends. No,
<v Speaker 6>they did, and then they like the chairs were some
<v Speaker 6>kind of like enemy and they're like watch out for
<v Speaker 6>the chair, you know, like they created this hot wheels
<v Speaker 6>world while they were sitting on the floor playing with them.
<v Speaker 6>And so it just made my heart smile because I
<v Speaker 6>was like, that is something he will never ever grow up.
<v Speaker 6>I feel like he's gonna be eighty years old. They
<v Speaker 6>bust out the hot wheels, He's gonna get down on
<v Speaker 6>the ground and play with them back up. It's gonna
<v Speaker 6>be harder at eighty, but you know what I mean.
<v Speaker 6>They will always try a small child. I love it too,
<v Speaker 6>and I have some things as well.
<v Speaker 3>So here's the general gist of Yes, what is something
<v Speaker 3>you thought you would have outgrown by now but you haven't.
<v Speaker 3>You're like looking at yourself, You're like, I should have
<v Speaker 3>outgrown this by now. Calls and comments always love them.
<v Speaker 3>Phone lines are wide open if you want to call
<v Speaker 3>us with yours three O three six nine one one
<v Speaker 3>mix three oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine.
<v Speaker 3>What is something you thought you would have out grown
<v Speaker 3>by now but you haven't? What yours? Well?
<v Speaker 6>And then again, Being home in North Dakota this weekend
<v Speaker 6>reminded me that I cannot walk away from a leg
<v Speaker 6>wrestling competition to save my life.
<v Speaker 5>Every time I will suit us.
<v Speaker 6>I will defend my title for leg wrestling Champion.
<v Speaker 5>Now this is I don't know if this is just
<v Speaker 5>a North Dakota.
<v Speaker 6>Thing or what, but we will like instantly drop to
<v Speaker 6>the ground.
<v Speaker 5>Oh you want to leg.
<v Speaker 2>Rest Did you do that over the weekend?
<v Speaker 5>Is this cousin leg wrestling? Just you lay on the
<v Speaker 5>ground and so.
<v Speaker 6>You've been around leg wrestle right when you lay on
<v Speaker 6>the ground and you put your leg up and you
<v Speaker 6>go one, two, three, I've never done legs and then
<v Speaker 6>whoever can flip the other one over wins.
<v Speaker 5>We should do a leg wrestle after the show.
<v Speaker 3>I don't want to beat you. I will be your thighs.
<v Speaker 3>I don't want to do that.
<v Speaker 5>I will absolutely crush you.
<v Speaker 3>I don't want to do leg wrestling.
<v Speaker 6>And I know this because over the weekend I was
<v Speaker 6>able to remind myself of what a champ I am
<v Speaker 6>at leg wrestling. So and that's the thing, like, if
<v Speaker 6>somebody challenges me to leg wrestling, let's go.
<v Speaker 5>Everything you have in your wallet, I'm going to do everything.
<v Speaker 3>That's what you chose.
<v Speaker 6>Every well, that's what it is, all right?
<v Speaker 3>All right? What is something you thought you would have
<v Speaker 3>out grown by now but you have not. We want
<v Speaker 3>your calls and comments. Can you be leg wrestling? A
<v Speaker 3>lot of people texting in with the Kraft Mac and cheese,
<v Speaker 3>the old blue box. Oh yeah, I give you that
<v Speaker 3>up forever? Are you kidding me?
<v Speaker 2>Kidding me?
<v Speaker 5>Gusher's in there too. Oh I can never ever give that.
<v Speaker 3>The fruit by the foot, come on.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, the same thing like.
<v Speaker 3>This one from Lauren. She says, saving the marshmallows for
<v Speaker 3>last when I eat lucky charms. Oh you save all
<v Speaker 3>the marshmallow.
<v Speaker 6>When are they gonna make a marshmallow only cereal? That's
<v Speaker 6>a whole sign, think you king?
<v Speaker 3>By the packages are just marshmallows?
<v Speaker 5>Really?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>They have them on it, on it like blue bonnet.
<v Speaker 3>All right, we got Sean, Sheila and Elizabeth. I would
<v Speaker 3>go to Sean first. Hi Sean, Hey, good morning, Hey buddy.
<v Speaker 3>All right, so what are you thinking? You're like, Man,
<v Speaker 3>I should have outgrown this by now. What yours? Well?
<v Speaker 12>I was sitting here with my daughter and she was
<v Speaker 12>she was like, uh, the.
<v Speaker 3>Uh the boxes dentist's office. Yeah, the treasure boxes at
<v Speaker 3>the dentist office.
<v Speaker 5>The pickuprow for.
<v Speaker 3>That's spot on. So Sean, do you wander over there
<v Speaker 3>as an adult and dig through the treasure.
<v Speaker 8>Chest Sometimes I'll see you what they're what they're poking
<v Speaker 8>around at.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my goodness, that is fantastic. Hey, I'm not gonna lie.
<v Speaker 3>I aye it. I definitely eye it when I walk by,
<v Speaker 3>but I don't get in there. Get the old finger trap,
<v Speaker 3>you know where you get the finger trap and you
<v Speaker 3>can't get your fingers out of it.
<v Speaker 5>Or the sticky hand, the bouncy ball.
<v Speaker 3>That's darn funny. Sean, that's the vampire. Who do you
<v Speaker 3>got in the car with you?
<v Speaker 8>I'm a daughter, Ella, Hi, Ella.
<v Speaker 3>Hey girl, Sean, thank you for the smile. That's a
<v Speaker 3>great one. Buddy, have a good day.
<v Speaker 8>Hey, thank you.
<v Speaker 3>Guys are great to a really good Sheila. Hi, Hey,
<v Speaker 3>what are you thinking?
<v Speaker 10>Man?
<v Speaker 3>I should have outgrown this by now.
<v Speaker 13>A bloke.
<v Speaker 3>Oh a sucker. The ones with the yeah, the gum
<v Speaker 3>in the middle. You don't want a toy pop TUTSI pops
<v Speaker 3>are for idiots, but the blowpops, the.
<v Speaker 13>Blow pops, the strawberry.
<v Speaker 3>Ones all day long. Yes, And that gum's all weird
<v Speaker 3>in the middle. I know, you know, last for about
<v Speaker 3>forty five seconds.
<v Speaker 6>It doesn't It got part of the coatine candy coating
<v Speaker 6>in there, so it's all crunchy.
<v Speaker 10>Right.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, I want to blow pop.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's been a minute. It's definitely Sheila thank you,
<v Speaker 3>Thanks for calling.
<v Speaker 12>Thanks a good one you too.
<v Speaker 3>We got Elizabeth and Paul Josh. Do you have one
<v Speaker 3>you want to give me?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, really quick. You know what's funny that just brought
<v Speaker 2>to my mind lately was I still don't mind like
<v Speaker 2>dressing up, and I thought it was so fun. I
<v Speaker 2>went to a little Star Wars theme bar with my
<v Speaker 2>girlfriend and we dressed up like as characters from the movie.
<v Speaker 2>And I remember when I was young, I'd always dress
<v Speaker 2>up as Stormtroopers and stuff like that. But when I
<v Speaker 2>brought it back as an adult, I was like, this
<v Speaker 2>is really fun. It was like a cosplay thing and
<v Speaker 2>I enjoyed it.
<v Speaker 3>That's cute. It was funs you.
<v Speaker 7>Elizabeth, good morning.
<v Speaker 8>How are you well?
<v Speaker 3>We're super dupes. What's something you thought you would have
<v Speaker 3>out grown by now but you haven't?
<v Speaker 10>A couple of board games playing Jack's the Little ball
<v Speaker 10>with the Jack Jack legos.
<v Speaker 12>And stuffies, oh, stuffy stuffies.
<v Speaker 10>What I love to do is buy the board games
<v Speaker 10>such as candy Land and Shoot the Ladders for my
<v Speaker 10>grandbabies and sit around all day and play games and
<v Speaker 10>the stuff dinosaurs and we roar around the house chasing
<v Speaker 10>each other.
<v Speaker 3>That's awkward. Hey with you on candy Land. My wife
<v Speaker 3>still has her version of candy Land from the eighties
<v Speaker 3>and uh yeah, we drag it out from time to
<v Speaker 3>time and make the kids play it. That's a solid And.
<v Speaker 10>Let go on the Legos. We'll be there all day
<v Speaker 10>playing with legos.
<v Speaker 3>I'm with you on the watch the kiddo. That's a
<v Speaker 3>choking Thank you, Elizabeth. Very nice of you to call in.
<v Speaker 3>Let's sneak in one more. We'll do Paul, Hi, Paul, Hey,
<v Speaker 3>how are you well? We're super dupes buddy. What's something
<v Speaker 3>that you thought you would have outgrown in by now?
<v Speaker 8>Definitely TCG Pokemon cards. It's basically something that I grew
<v Speaker 8>up with from my grandma buying the originals off of
<v Speaker 8>QTc and then now I'm buying it for my daughter
<v Speaker 8>and we go to tournaments and everything, so we we
<v Speaker 8>really thought. I never thought I would outgrow, but I mean,
<v Speaker 8>it seems like it's never gonna go out of.
<v Speaker 3>Fashion, but here you are still collecting Pokemon cards. What's
<v Speaker 3>your favorite character? Oh, Toga p Oh is a good one.
<v Speaker 6>Name. Yeah, I always like Jiggly Puss's favorite one.
<v Speaker 3>Which is what I call Katie behind the scenes. Paul,
<v Speaker 3>that's pretty solid, buddy, that's not bad.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 3>I wrote down three three three things. What's something you
<v Speaker 3>thought you would have out grown by now, but you
<v Speaker 3>have it. My first one is a spaghettios. I'll crack
<v Speaker 3>open a can of spaghettios with.
<v Speaker 6>The meatballs the meatballs, and I do that weird thing
<v Speaker 6>where I suck on the meatballs and I leave them
<v Speaker 6>on a napkin, and then I eat all the meatballs last.
<v Speaker 3>It's I'm a child. The second one I have is
<v Speaker 3>not letting my foot out from underneath the covers, Like
<v Speaker 3>my feet have to be underneath the covers or there
<v Speaker 3>will be a monster under the bed that licks my
<v Speaker 3>feet and tickle them, or I'll have a hobo under
<v Speaker 3>the bed and I will be safe if everything is
<v Speaker 3>underneath the covers. What is something you thought you would
<v Speaker 3>have out grown by now, but you have it? My
<v Speaker 3>final one is peeking under dressing room doors when I'm
<v Speaker 3>in stores.
<v Speaker 5>Jeer me, that's a legal You can't do that.
<v Speaker 3>You can't give it up. You guys doing it. You
<v Speaker 3>find me in a target, watch out. I might be
<v Speaker 3>peeking under the dressing room door. I just I can't
<v Speaker 3>give it a I can't.
<v Speaker 5>It's an actual problem.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, well, the risk is sounded like an old fogy.
<v Speaker 3>Let's talk about the weather. By far, the biggest story
<v Speaker 3>locally right now is the weather we're gonna go through
<v Speaker 3>like a seventy two hour period starting this evening of
<v Speaker 3>really really heavy spring snow. Oh town.
<v Speaker 5>I was not ready for this.
<v Speaker 6>Like I got off the plane from North Dakota yesterday
<v Speaker 6>and the guy who picked us up set get ready
<v Speaker 6>for some really like snowy.
<v Speaker 5>Weather this weekend. I laughed.
<v Speaker 6>I thought he was messing with me because we just
<v Speaker 6>got back from North Dakota, and I thought he was
<v Speaker 6>telling me a joke. And I didn't realize we're actually getting.
<v Speaker 3>Four eight inches in the Denver metro up to ten
<v Speaker 3>inches down south, which would be me. So I guess
<v Speaker 3>I better dig my shovel back out. Yeah, snowbrushes that
<v Speaker 3>I put away and I took off netting like on
<v Speaker 3>a bunch of my trees this weekend, thinking oh, we're
<v Speaker 3>in the clear, nothing's gonna snap now.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, Jeremy, I don't even know where I put my snowpants.
<v Speaker 5>Oh, I packed up somewhere.
<v Speaker 6>I don't know where they went.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, so they are. They are warning you though, this
<v Speaker 3>could be a heavy spring storm with a down power line,
<v Speaker 3>snapped branches. I know the Rockies game has been moved
<v Speaker 3>up to three forty this afternoon.
<v Speaker 5>I believe.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know, do your own research with that, but anyway,
<v Speaker 3>the snowstorm's coming, right.
<v Speaker 5>I thought we were done with all that, and.
<v Speaker 3>Oh what else is going on? Speaking of the Rockies,
<v Speaker 3>they were swept by the Braves at cors Field over
<v Speaker 3>the weekend. Wah wah wah. But we have our alvs.
<v Speaker 3>They they were unhinged man game one, nine to six
<v Speaker 3>over a minasorda. So many goals were scored during that game.
<v Speaker 3>So go Alves, go reluctantly. I gotta give you a
<v Speaker 3>little of this. Yes, it's May the fourth. We'll get
<v Speaker 3>the calendar. It's not funny anymore, it's not clever, but
<v Speaker 3>everybody talking about Okay, does that song not make you happy?
<v Speaker 11>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>Come on, May the fourth for me is up.
<v Speaker 3>There for with like Mario day Man dumb. It's gonna
<v Speaker 3>be May memes, dumb, ugly Christmas sweater party things, dumb,
<v Speaker 3>like it's run its course right.
<v Speaker 2>Well, no, because if there was a he Man day
<v Speaker 2>for you, you would have been obsessed.
<v Speaker 3>And you know it was just like like a week ago.
<v Speaker 3>Did you hear me mention one word about it on
<v Speaker 3>the air? No?
<v Speaker 5>Was it ago? Like it's an actual he man thing.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it was an actual Yeah. I didn't talk about
<v Speaker 3>it though, just like I'm kind of burnt out on
<v Speaker 3>all these days, right like.
<v Speaker 2>It Actually I didn't mention one word. This is Star Wars.
<v Speaker 6>I know it's so like burnt out right for you.
<v Speaker 6>But further Star four, I mean, I like, you know,
<v Speaker 6>even Josh put in his story something a little different,
<v Speaker 6>right the what was it.
<v Speaker 2>The Yeah, it wasn't. Look it wasn't there it is.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't the actual May the Fourth thing be with you.
<v Speaker 2>But it was a Star Wars planet joke where I
<v Speaker 2>was like, if you think I'm gonna make any jokes
<v Speaker 2>about this today, you're looking at all doron places. It's
<v Speaker 2>kind of a niche joke. There's a planet in Star
<v Speaker 2>Wars called al Doran, and I didn't want to do
<v Speaker 2>they Do you hear that. I didn't want to do
<v Speaker 2>the May the Fourth so I did something different.
<v Speaker 6>I hear the nerds laughing, like there was a good
<v Speaker 6>job people that know Star Wars are laughing.
<v Speaker 3>They're all laughing. Yep, they're all laughing.
<v Speaker 2>He's so funny.
<v Speaker 3>It's good they had to walk away from their girlfriends
<v Speaker 3>so they could laugh.
<v Speaker 2>Oh they don't. They don't.
<v Speaker 5>They don't have That is funny. That is funny.
<v Speaker 3>I hope they can get away from their significant other today.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, Jared, they're free, buddy.
<v Speaker 6>They've got plenty of time today.
<v Speaker 2>By down, we're watching Star Wars.
<v Speaker 3>You can live actually role playing. I'll be printy today.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, oddly enough, my girlfriend did dress up as Princess Lea,
<v Speaker 2>so we do get girls.
<v Speaker 3>But it's it's new for you guys. This is four
<v Speaker 3>months together, five months, six whatever. It's like cutty and
<v Speaker 3>fun right now, give it a year or two and
<v Speaker 3>she's gonna be like grow up.
<v Speaker 2>Oh dude, she's gonna hate it.
<v Speaker 5>Do you get your ewok away from it.
<v Speaker 2>She's already teetering on the like do we need more
<v Speaker 2>Star Wars stuff? And I'm always like, hell, yeah we do,
<v Speaker 2>No you don't. So anyway, we just need new days.
<v Speaker 2>We need new things to celebrate. We do things that
<v Speaker 2>aren't burnout and boring.
<v Speaker 3>Sorry nerds.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so what else is going on.
<v Speaker 3>Let's say, since we're bashing Star Wars nerds, let's bash
<v Speaker 3>gen Z. They are now being called the Christopher Columbus generation.
<v Speaker 3>It's because they keep discovering things that already exist. Have
<v Speaker 3>you guys just tried hot pockets? Oh my god?
<v Speaker 2>Are these new?
<v Speaker 3>The newest one is silent walking. Guys, have you heard
<v Speaker 3>of silent walking? It's when you go walking without your phone?
<v Speaker 5>I know, are you the nineties?
<v Speaker 3>No? He quiet quitting. They've just discovered coke floats or
<v Speaker 3>any sort of floats in general. Did you guys know
<v Speaker 3>about vanilla ice cream and root beer?
<v Speaker 5>Like they made something? I know what.
<v Speaker 2>That's the thing, kittie. They think they invented though. That's
<v Speaker 2>the annoying part is they're like going on TikTok and
<v Speaker 2>social media being like I just found out this new
<v Speaker 2>way to drink root beer and you're like, are you
<v Speaker 2>kidding me?
<v Speaker 3>Vanilla ice cream in it?
<v Speaker 6>I haven't done her who is a gen Zer and
<v Speaker 6>she is constantly like, mom, I need to take my
<v Speaker 6>everything shower.
<v Speaker 5>I'm like, is that a flavor of a bagel?
<v Speaker 2>Like?
<v Speaker 5>What is that even?
<v Speaker 6>And it's just when you wash and shave and do
<v Speaker 6>everything in the shower.
<v Speaker 5>That's called an every everythingower.
<v Speaker 6>I know, they just come up with a new name
<v Speaker 6>for it, and it's something we've done our whole lives,
<v Speaker 6>Like we already do.
<v Speaker 3>With they say shaving, but I gotta shave, I gotta do.
<v Speaker 5>All the stuff, and it's gonna be a long one.
<v Speaker 3>What kind of shower she generally do?
<v Speaker 5>Exactly?
<v Speaker 3>Well, yeah, I'll tell you you've probably heard it. You've
<v Speaker 3>probably heard it. Quick, get your old aunt and grandma,
<v Speaker 3>I mean iiately and have them listen to the radio,
<v Speaker 3>because the United States Postal Services announced some news stamps
<v Speaker 3>coming out this summer. Hot Dog. They're Barbie stamps featuring
<v Speaker 3>Barbie dolls throughout the years, dressed in ten iconic outfits
<v Speaker 3>and iconic careers. Did you hear that Barbie song on
<v Speaker 3>the radio? Remember when that was popular, Katie? Oh yeah,
<v Speaker 3>Like you would turn up the radio to listen to.
<v Speaker 5>That song and everybody wanted to do Ken's part.
<v Speaker 3>Come on, Barbie, Let's go party. Nineties were strange time, right, Aqua.
<v Speaker 2>I had that CD? Yeah there go?
<v Speaker 3>Oh man, that was a different time.
<v Speaker 2>Did you play that your jeep? What did you do?
<v Speaker 3>Man?
<v Speaker 5>You were the music video and everything. It was a
<v Speaker 5>whole vibe, Josh, I love it. It's a whole vibe.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, this is exciting. So on Saturday, Golden Tempo had
<v Speaker 2>a historic race at the Kentucky Derby, literally going from
<v Speaker 2>last to first place to win it all. But Shari
<v Speaker 2>de Vaux was really the one that made the news
<v Speaker 2>everywhere because she is the first woman trainer in the
<v Speaker 2>one hundred and fifty two years of the Kentucky Derby
<v Speaker 2>to win the whole thing.
<v Speaker 4>I'm quite overwhelmed, to be honest, as in, you know,
<v Speaker 4>I keep getting they has it set in No, it hasn't.
<v Speaker 4>A lot has been made about a female trainer winning
<v Speaker 4>the Kentucky Derby, and I'm honored that I get to
<v Speaker 4>be that person. And I hope this just paves the
<v Speaker 4>way for any other little girl with big dreams or
<v Speaker 4>woman with big dreams. I always thought that this guy
<v Speaker 4>was the limit. Now really it truly is the limit.
<v Speaker 2>It really is. And for her, she is.
<v Speaker 6>Don't shi right, She is in the first.
<v Speaker 2>Woman really setting the tone here, and she is a
<v Speaker 2>storied winner all in all. I mean she has won
<v Speaker 2>two hundred and ninety seven first place finishes, totaling thirty
<v Speaker 2>three almost thirty three million dollars, and that doesn't even
<v Speaker 2>include the three hundred and ten thousand dollars that she
<v Speaker 2>just wanted the Kentucky Derby, So massive payday for her.
<v Speaker 2>She absolutely earns it, and hopeful this does kind of
<v Speaker 2>pave the way for more women to be involved in
<v Speaker 2>all sports, including horse racing.
<v Speaker 5>I one hundred and fifty years the first that is
<v Speaker 5>wildly cool.
<v Speaker 2>Plus three hundred thou pay day is not too bad.
<v Speaker 5>Get it serie?
<v Speaker 6>Okay, we can get it too. Because A Basin is
<v Speaker 6>going to stay open. They announced that Saturday. Yeah, wait
<v Speaker 6>a second, that impressed the horse. We're supposed to get
<v Speaker 6>hit with snow, as we talked about, so it's gonna
<v Speaker 6>help matters as well. But I wonder if the other
<v Speaker 6>resorts are going to kind of follow suit because A
<v Speaker 6>Basin said, after fourteen inches of snow this week already,
<v Speaker 6>we've decided to give the people what they want, more
<v Speaker 6>time at the legend Mother Nature provided, and so shell
<v Speaker 6>the basins.
<v Speaker 3>And we need the cash and they need the cash.
<v Speaker 6>But again, what of the sneers, skiers and snowboarders are
<v Speaker 6>really you know, we've heard them talk about how it's
<v Speaker 6>been a crappy season up on the mountains, so this
<v Speaker 6>will help them at least hopefully end this season, wrap
<v Speaker 6>it up with a good little sessh up on that
<v Speaker 6>powder hontair.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah yeah, okay.
<v Speaker 6>Us here over on the front range water World, right,
<v Speaker 6>they're considered one of the best water parks in the country,
<v Speaker 6>and we're very excited to get in on that this summer.
<v Speaker 6>But USA Today has them in their top ten water
<v Speaker 6>parks in the USA. We are number five on the list,
<v Speaker 6>so fuck halfway down, and that is picked by a.
<v Speaker 5>Panel of water park experts in case you're wondering.
<v Speaker 6>But last year we were number two, so we fell
<v Speaker 6>a few spots we do, I don't know, and we
<v Speaker 6>did all those upgrades to it as well. I wonder
<v Speaker 6>if they were doing all the rankings when we had
<v Speaker 6>some of the stuff closed down, because remember they upgraded
<v Speaker 6>a lot of the stuff out at water World last year,
<v Speaker 6>so to wrap up the season, I believe they closed
<v Speaker 6>down part of it so they could get it ready
<v Speaker 6>for the reconstruction.
<v Speaker 5>So I wonder if that had something to.
<v Speaker 3>Do with it.
<v Speaker 6>But it's gonna be like brand new looking for next year,
<v Speaker 6>so maybe we'll claim the top spot. Huh yeah. Another story,
<v Speaker 6>this one a U haul crashing into a restaurant, Like
<v Speaker 6>the picture is insane. It was at Alian Park. So
<v Speaker 6>this is right off seventeenth in Park in downtown Denver.
<v Speaker 6>There are apartments upstairs too, And what it looks like
<v Speaker 6>is the U haul crashed into the building through the door,
<v Speaker 6>right into the bar actually, and hit a support beam
<v Speaker 6>that supports the apartment support this building. I mean, that's
<v Speaker 6>what you don't want it to hit me. And it
<v Speaker 6>looks like the driver of the U haul had a
<v Speaker 6>medical emergency, so I'm hoping everything's okay there. The owner
<v Speaker 6>of the restaurant, though, listen to this, So Allian Parks
<v Speaker 6>is the restaurant we're talking about here that got hit
<v Speaker 6>by the U haul. They're going to have to deal
<v Speaker 6>with some stuff before they open that back up. He
<v Speaker 6>also owns an Italian restaurant that not too long ago
<v Speaker 6>had a fire. He nows you had to deal with
<v Speaker 6>a fire for his Italian restaurant.
<v Speaker 5>I know, we're hoping that he figures it out there.
<v Speaker 5>So again, the Allian.
<v Speaker 3>Parks people in the apartment, I know they're walking sideways,
<v Speaker 3>they're walking down hill exactly.
<v Speaker 5>So Yeah, there's no support left. Don't make you just
<v Speaker 5>the way on top of spaghetti.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, meat don't get your marbles out right out the window.
<v Speaker 5>There, you go solid in your apartment, right.
<v Speaker 3>Out of the window.
<v Speaker 2>Probably don't have an apartment now.
<v Speaker 6>I know they're probably not even in the apartment, but
<v Speaker 6>in case they are, hopefully they.
<v Speaker 3>Even bowling balls in there because it roll right out.
<v Speaker 5>The meatballs are a bad idea.
<v Speaker 3>The meatballs.
<v Speaker 5>It's a bad idea, all right.
<v Speaker 6>And then the Denver Zoo yesterday they closed temporarily because
<v Speaker 6>of a threat.
<v Speaker 5>I guess this is.
<v Speaker 6>Happening all over the country. People are calling and threatening zoos.
<v Speaker 3>I don't like that.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I heard it was nothing serious. Was it a lighthearted
<v Speaker 3>Is it just prank calls?
<v Speaker 6>Not serious, but serious enough to where they had to
<v Speaker 6>close the zoo because of a threat. And you know
<v Speaker 6>they take it seriously, even if it is just prank
<v Speaker 6>or you know, they're trying to be funny.
<v Speaker 5>They're not going to risk.
<v Speaker 2>You're going to release the parrots.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, so they closed it for the afternoon. I believe
<v Speaker 6>they opened it for the Growing Wild exhibit that they're
<v Speaker 6>doing out there at the zoo. Right now, and it
<v Speaker 6>is open today, so you want to get the word.
<v Speaker 3>Out of it? Do you laughing? Hyaenas? I know they
<v Speaker 3>played poker at the zoo? Too many cheetahs. There you go, there,
<v Speaker 3>you call an angry monkey, furious George, George. Oh that's good. Okay,
<v Speaker 3>we gotta close this place down. She's laughing, hyenas, keep
<v Speaker 3>racking us. What a polar bears eat for lunch?
<v Speaker 5>Iceburgers?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, we're done.
<v Speaker 5>Lot of jokes.
<v Speaker 1>She's got the mic, the moxie, and a brain full
<v Speaker 1>of Doctor phil Rey runs.
<v Speaker 2>She's on me the duck on a joom bug.
<v Speaker 1>But can you take down Katie in pop culture? SmackDown?
<v Speaker 1>This is Katie Crush.
<v Speaker 3>We have made it to Katie Crush. And oh my goodness,
<v Speaker 3>is this a hot Angela on the line.
<v Speaker 1>It is.
<v Speaker 3>High hot Angela.
<v Speaker 12>I'm nervous. She's really good smart, So yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 3>I'm nervous too, because I'm talking to a hot Angela.
<v Speaker 3>All Angela's are hot.
<v Speaker 6>You should see him blush right now like you are
<v Speaker 6>doing something to him.
<v Speaker 3>Little intimidating, hot Angela, little intimidating tell us about yourself, Angela?
<v Speaker 3>Besides being hot?
<v Speaker 12>Oh you know. I'm just a mom of two boys,
<v Speaker 12>so I'm busy with sports.
<v Speaker 3>Uh do you work or just your stadium? You?
<v Speaker 8>Now, I work.
<v Speaker 12>I work for you See Health and I work in
<v Speaker 12>their health information management department as a project coordinator.
<v Speaker 3>We'll smell you a lot of words. Yeah, smell you,
<v Speaker 3>big shot, but.
<v Speaker 5>In the medical field helping people out. So that's yeah
<v Speaker 5>to you. Angela.
<v Speaker 3>You want to give your kiddos a shout out?
<v Speaker 12>Oh sure, I'll say hi to Gino and Dominic.
<v Speaker 13>They're both at school, but.
<v Speaker 5>Sure, mom, You're like, this is my time to shine.
<v Speaker 5>They can go sit.
<v Speaker 11>Yeah.
<v Speaker 12>Well, they like we play listen to Fast five every morning,
<v Speaker 12>and so they're going to be bummed that they missed
<v Speaker 12>this one.
<v Speaker 3>But that's okay. We'll turn around to make this a
<v Speaker 3>podcast and you can share it with you, okay, Angela?
<v Speaker 3>All right, hot hot Angela. And they'll be like, why
<v Speaker 3>does that guy keep going you hot?
<v Speaker 5>All right? So you say, Mommy still got it.
<v Speaker 3>That's right because you say all Angela hot kids. Okay.
<v Speaker 3>So I'll give you and Katie the same five pop
<v Speaker 3>culture trivia questions. Best out of five wins ties go
<v Speaker 3>to Katie because she's a Diva Monster. Anything you'd like
<v Speaker 3>to say before you leave?
<v Speaker 11>Kid?
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, you know what, Just come to play. I'm gonna
<v Speaker 6>bring my a game, you do yours, and we'll have
<v Speaker 6>funny let's go.
<v Speaker 12>All right, sounds good.
<v Speaker 3>Angela tell Katie to get out of the studio.
<v Speaker 12>Get out, Katie, get out, all right.
<v Speaker 3>She's leaving, Angela. Buby, Yeah, move that booty, although I
<v Speaker 3>thought you said booby, No booty, Get that booty out
<v Speaker 3>of here, all right. She goes into a room where
<v Speaker 3>she can't hear anything. I come up with the question,
<v Speaker 3>so there's no cheating, and we will find out if
<v Speaker 3>you are right or wrong. Once he we bring her
<v Speaker 3>back in the studio. All right, here we go. Here's
<v Speaker 3>your first question. Which one of the main cast members
<v Speaker 3>from Saved by the Bell passed away? Now you can
<v Speaker 3>give me his real name or his character name?
<v Speaker 12>Oh that was Screech or Dustin Diamond.
<v Speaker 3>Second question for the crush. Who is Miley Cyrus's.
<v Speaker 12>Dad Billy Ray Cyrus?
<v Speaker 3>Third question? What video game has characters named Creeper, Zombie,
<v Speaker 3>Steve and Alex.
<v Speaker 12>Oh god, my kids are going to kill me because

<v Speaker 7>I will just don't want you.
<v Speaker 12>I know, creeper, I don't know.
<v Speaker 8>Would you like Minecraft?

<v Speaker 7>Sure?
<v Speaker 3>Uh? Fourth question? What is the name of Hans Solo's ship?
<v Speaker 12>I don't know this one either, so I'll just say

<v Speaker 3>I Would you like to just say Billy Ray Cyrus? Yeah? Sure, okay,
<v Speaker 3>I'll switch to Billy Ray Cyrus.
<v Speaker 2>All right.

<v Speaker 3>Sidney Sweeney currently dating?
<v Speaker 1>Oh?
<v Speaker 12>No, I know this and I can't.
<v Speaker 10>Uh.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, would you like to say Billy Ray Cyrus.
<v Speaker 12>No, No, it's on the tip of my tongue. I
<v Speaker 12>can't you guys know because this was her cry? Isn't
<v Speaker 12>this Katie's like, I.
<v Speaker 3>Don't know what you're saying right now?
<v Speaker 2>Get I get what you're saying.
<v Speaker 12>Come on, Oh, I'll say Billy Ray Cyrus.
<v Speaker 3>Billy Ray Cyrus.
<v Speaker 2>I love it.
<v Speaker 3>How do you feel like you did hot Angela?
<v Speaker 9>Oh?
<v Speaker 7>Not good.
<v Speaker 12>The last question I remember the answer as soon as
<v Speaker 12>you put me back on hold.
<v Speaker 3>Oh no, well you can't change it. It's too late.
<v Speaker 12>I know, I know but Katie, I say, I think
<v Speaker 12>you got me on this one.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, you see how we do. Let's see, Katie, which
<v Speaker 3>one of the main cast members from Say By the
<v Speaker 3>Bell passed away? You can use his real name or
<v Speaker 3>the name on the show.

<v Speaker 3>video game has characters named Creeper, Zombie, Steve and Alex?
<v Speaker 3>I don't Steve.
<v Speaker 5>I don't know Fortnite.
<v Speaker 3>I have no idea Fortnite. No funny thing?
<v Speaker 6>Is?
<v Speaker 3>Angela completely pulled this one out of her butt? She's like,
<v Speaker 3>I don't know Minecraft?
<v Speaker 1>Is that right out?
<v Speaker 3>You got it? Not too bad? You got the first three,
<v Speaker 3>all right, Katie. Fourth question, what is the name of
<v Speaker 3>Hans Solo's ship?

<v Speaker 3>This yeah, Billy Ray Syrien. All right, here's your fifth
<v Speaker 3>and final question for the cry. Who is my girlfriend
<v Speaker 3>Sidney Sweeney currently dating?
<v Speaker 5>Oh?
<v Speaker 6>She needs to dump scootern for Riley Green, but I
<v Speaker 6>don't know what.
<v Speaker 5>They just became official this weekend.
<v Speaker 3>Scooter Braun and Sam Angela, said Billy Ray Cyrus.
<v Speaker 12>I thought Scooter Braun was your crush.
<v Speaker 5>Katie is my crush?
<v Speaker 12>Yen, remember this whole conversation the other day. But okay,
<v Speaker 12>but I remember Scooter Braun as soon as you put
<v Speaker 12>me on hold.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, well, said sadly you got crushed, though I did.
<v Speaker 3>Katie squished you. She squished you real good.
<v Speaker 5>I came to play.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it was last time you and your husband had
<v Speaker 3>a date Angela? Where's last time and your husband had
<v Speaker 3>a date night?
<v Speaker 12>You know, we went to Arizona two weekends ago, so
<v Speaker 12>I think that considers a date weekend.
<v Speaker 3>It was nice to give you this. You should have said,
<v Speaker 3>it's been years. I was going to give you the tickets.
<v Speaker 3>Now you Arizona last week.
<v Speaker 12>That's okay.
<v Speaker 3>You know what.
<v Speaker 12>We're moving. So it's going to be a very long
<v Speaker 12>time before we get another date night because we are
<v Speaker 12>moving at the end of this month.
<v Speaker 8>So be all right.
<v Speaker 3>Well, I was going to do you a solid, but
<v Speaker 3>that's okay.
<v Speaker 12>I think you anyway. I appreciate that.
<v Speaker 3>Very nice it was, Angela.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, you were fun to chat with today, So thank
<v Speaker 5>you for yes.
<v Speaker 12>Well, thank you guys. Congratulations Katie, keep up.
<v Speaker 7>The good work.
<v Speaker 3>Thank you, Angela. I have a great day. It was
<v Speaker 3>nice talking with you.
<v Speaker 2>Thanks.
<v Speaker 12>Nice talking to you guys too.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, bye, she's very very nice. Well, congratulations Katie. You
<v Speaker 3>did it again, girlfriend.
<v Speaker 5>Thank you, you did it again.
<v Speaker 3>Darn it. Ah, that's it. There is no more. We're
<v Speaker 3>out of words, we're out of stories, we're out of prizes,
<v Speaker 3>we're out of everything.
<v Speaker 5>Okay, that's it.
<v Speaker 3>We're gonna get out of here. Big Rob comes up next,
<v Speaker 3>goes commercial free for about ninety minutes at eleven thirty,
<v Speaker 3>and we gotta go play tomorrow's show. And I know
<v Speaker 3>Katie's dying to get out of here to go take
<v Speaker 3>a nap.
<v Speaker 6>I'm I flew in super late last night from North Dakota,
<v Speaker 6>some little jet lag.
<v Speaker 3>She's cranky on here, really tired, and she came in
<v Speaker 3>on hot air balloon. So it was a long journey yeah,
<v Speaker 3>But good news is we'll be back bright and early
<v Speaker 3>tomorrow morning to entertain you. Guys. We are Jeremy and
<v Speaker 3>Katie and Josh at Denver's Mixed one hundred.
