<v Speaker 1>Jar you, Katie and Josh six one hundred. Are you
<v Speaker 1>feeling this morning? A little thick?
<v Speaker 2>Got some LB's hanging on you? I know when I
<v Speaker 2>woke up today my pants felt a little bit tighter.
<v Speaker 2>I thought I had been doing good. Oh what't you
<v Speaker 2>hate those days? And you're like, man, I've.
<v Speaker 1>Been doing pretty good.
<v Speaker 2>I've been eating healthy and and then I was like,
<v Speaker 2>but I wouldn't put my pants on.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, man, he's a little tight. No, no,
<v Speaker 1>the hell is going on?
<v Speaker 2>Well, they're saying, if you want to start losing those LB's,
<v Speaker 2>just get those steps in each and every day, and
<v Speaker 2>they give you a number eighty five hundred daily structured steps.
<v Speaker 2>They say that'll help promote people keeping those pounds off
<v Speaker 2>long term. Okay, and pun intended. It's baby steps. They said,
<v Speaker 2>start at eighty five hundred steps. Once you start feeling
<v Speaker 2>good about that, you can bump it up to ten
<v Speaker 2>thousand steps, twelve thousand steps. It's essentially just getting you
<v Speaker 2>moving a little bit, one foot in.
<v Speaker 1>Front of the other, literally one foot in front of
<v Speaker 1>the other. Yeah, you put one in front of the
<v Speaker 1>And that's the thing, though.
<v Speaker 3>Is like walking is such good exercise and I think
<v Speaker 3>people knock it because it's not like it doesn't take
<v Speaker 3>a lot of endurance.
<v Speaker 1>Pretty much everybody can do it.
<v Speaker 3>But it is so good for your mental health, your
<v Speaker 3>heart health, like all of it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and you gotta go outside and walk. You can't
<v Speaker 2>just walk to the cinebuon.
<v Speaker 1>I mean you could could if it's a mile away.
<v Speaker 2>Still counts as steps sports.
<v Speaker 1>What's going on in the world of sports.
<v Speaker 4>Well, this is an exciting story about prom season. It
<v Speaker 4>is still prom season, and prom is looking a little
<v Speaker 4>bit different these days, especially thanks.
<v Speaker 1>To one school last year.
<v Speaker 4>So a school in Georgia could not have their normal
<v Speaker 4>prom due to a pipe bursting a couple of days
<v Speaker 4>before the event actually happened. So the school reached out
<v Speaker 4>to a local minor league baseball team and said, hey.
<v Speaker 1>We're in a bit of a pickle here.
<v Speaker 4>We need help and we need to there it is
<v Speaker 4>look at that, take me out to the ball game.
<v Speaker 4>We need help. We don't have a venue for prom.
<v Speaker 4>And so this minor league team said, come to a
<v Speaker 4>baseball game. We will host you and have the prom
<v Speaker 4>king and queen out on the field. We can have
<v Speaker 4>them maybe even throughout the first pitch, and we can
<v Speaker 4>take pictures with them as well, and so they did that.
<v Speaker 4>And because of that happening last year, not only did
<v Speaker 4>they go back this year for senior Prom. Now schools
<v Speaker 4>all over the nation are kind of doing this and
<v Speaker 4>instead of the average you know, high school gym prom
<v Speaker 4>that people are going to, the Dodgers hosted senior Prom
<v Speaker 4>this year. Many other baseball stadiums around the country also
<v Speaker 4>hosted senior Prom and I love this. I think this
<v Speaker 4>is such a unique experience for students instead of just
<v Speaker 4>going to the normal you know, gym and stadium. I
<v Speaker 4>know in power Field does this, but it's not during
<v Speaker 4>a game. They have events hosted there. But being able
<v Speaker 4>to actually attend an actual baseball game during this event,
<v Speaker 4>I think that's a really unique thing for a memorable
<v Speaker 4>thing for the students.
<v Speaker 1>Right the Rockies.
<v Speaker 2>The Rockies need to get unless you get hit by
<v Speaker 2>a ball at prom.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, but memorable, get to keep the ball. If you're
<v Speaker 1>not knocked out, you'll remember it.
<v Speaker 2>There you go, guys, there's your sports report this morning.
<v Speaker 2>The new swimsuit models are here. The new swimsuit models
<v Speaker 2>are here. I guess this is still a thing. Sports
<v Speaker 2>Illustrated revealed their four swimsuit cover models. Yesterday, we got
<v Speaker 2>you Hillary Duff. Here, we got a little Tiffany Hattish,
<v Speaker 2>we got Alex Earl.
<v Speaker 1>And Nicole Williams.
<v Speaker 2>English covers hit stores tomorrow. I believe they say they
<v Speaker 2>are focusing and celebrating individual individuality.
<v Speaker 1>Use your words, Jared.
<v Speaker 2>From Tiffany's deeply human story rooted in joy and honesty,
<v Speaker 2>to Alex's evolution of access into influence, to Nicole's commitment
<v Speaker 2>to authentic growth, and Hillary's quiet reinvention marked by confidence,
<v Speaker 2>humor and great beautiful.
<v Speaker 1>Now look them up. But look those stories really do
<v Speaker 1>ring true with each one of those ladies. They really do.
<v Speaker 3>That's really hard, you know, especially like I love that
<v Speaker 3>Hillary Duff is included in it.
<v Speaker 1>And Tiffany Hattish.
<v Speaker 3>I thought she was kidding because she's a comedian and
<v Speaker 3>she tells you she got jokes. And so when I
<v Speaker 3>saw her story and it was her with the long
<v Speaker 3>hair and everything, I'm like, did she put herself on?
<v Speaker 1>I didn't realize that she was on the cover. Like
<v Speaker 1>good for her? They all, whatever, are we still okay?
<v Speaker 1>A thing I mean celebrating is that what we're celebrating.
<v Speaker 3>It's for us it's not for you, yeah, I know
<v Speaker 3>it's for you. It's also for us, as much as
<v Speaker 3>you can take what you want for it from it,
<v Speaker 3>but it is also for us.
<v Speaker 2>It's a big at a boy, I hate to say,
<v Speaker 2>at a boy. For these ladies, it's a it's a girl.
<v Speaker 1>It's a a girl. For these ladies to be on
<v Speaker 1>an iconic cover, you know.
<v Speaker 3>And I think like ladies can celebrate other women, like
<v Speaker 3>I am like clapping for Hilary does me too, Tiffany
<v Speaker 3>Hattish and.
<v Speaker 1>I look at that.
<v Speaker 3>And grace, but all of them, I am like, it
<v Speaker 3>takes work to look like that straight, even alex Earl,
<v Speaker 3>as much as everybody's like, oh, she's so perfect, Probably
<v Speaker 3>it doesn't have to do a thing she talked about,
<v Speaker 3>but she said, like Dancing with the Stars got her
<v Speaker 3>in tip top shape for that cover, so she even
<v Speaker 3>had to work at that. And it just you got
<v Speaker 3>to applaud effort because they put a lot of effort.
<v Speaker 1>I am applauding. I know you are. I am.
<v Speaker 2>All about their confidence, humor and grace, oh yeah, and
<v Speaker 2>joy and honesty.
<v Speaker 1>That's really nice to you, Jeremy. That's a really nice
<v Speaker 1>of you.
<v Speaker 3>Both of you make us proud to look at that stuff.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like that. There's a lot of humor and grace
<v Speaker 1>right there, a lot of it. Boys.
<v Speaker 2>Alex earl Man, she might be my new Sydney swing.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I might be bumping Sydney to the side
<v Speaker 2>here eventually.
<v Speaker 1>For Alex earl Is, she's really pretty.
<v Speaker 2>She doesn't beat My first crush though, of all time,
<v Speaker 2>Weird Al Yankovic. He is gonna be doing a stage musical.
<v Speaker 2>It is called Dare to Be Stupid, The Weird Al Musical,
<v Speaker 2>an original story co written by Al himself and featuring
<v Speaker 2>songs spanning his career. And I have been a fan
<v Speaker 2>of Al since the eighties. Yeah, absolutely love that guy.
<v Speaker 2>One of my most special moments was being at a
<v Speaker 2>concert and he came up the aisle and stood on
<v Speaker 2>a chair right next to me.
<v Speaker 1>I got to gaze up at it.
<v Speaker 2>And then he was in town doing a meet and
<v Speaker 2>greet or something, and one of our promotions people got
<v Speaker 2>him to sign like one of his set lists to
<v Speaker 2>Jeremy you.
<v Speaker 1>Know, love Awl or whatever, And I haven't laminated at
<v Speaker 1>my house. They do very much. There is a quote
<v Speaker 1>from him. He says, one thing.
<v Speaker 2>People always say about Broadway is that it is severely
<v Speaker 2>lacking in weird ol based entertainment, and I think this
<v Speaker 2>music should fix that problem.
<v Speaker 1>Immediately.
<v Speaker 2>I will be there, My booty will be in a
<v Speaker 2>seat for sure, and then I think I got one
<v Speaker 2>more thing for you, just because I.
<v Speaker 1>Love No Doubt so much.
<v Speaker 2>I don't so many stories coming out right now about
<v Speaker 2>No Doubt in their Las Vegas Sphere residency right now?
<v Speaker 1>Are they good stories? Tell me they're fantastic stories. It
<v Speaker 1>is uh.
<v Speaker 2>Fans are treating it basically like a giant nostalgia event
<v Speaker 2>for people who grew up in the late nineties early
<v Speaker 2>two thousands. The amount of social clips I've seen from
<v Speaker 2>opening weekend online, the concert looks incredible.
<v Speaker 1>It does like that is incredible.
<v Speaker 3>One I would go to Las Vegas for.
<v Speaker 1>And the music is saying.
<v Speaker 3>Come on, okay, you beat No Doubt, say Tragic Kingdom
<v Speaker 3>is still in my you know, repeat of running playlists
<v Speaker 3>like I listened to that album front to back, no skips.
<v Speaker 1>In my seat, flip book in my car in high school.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah when Stefani. So any way, I don't know how
<v Speaker 2>long she's out there. I don't know the deats on
<v Speaker 2>that but man, I might have to I might have
<v Speaker 2>to try to get out there, and.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that might be one I get out to as well.
<v Speaker 1>It's going on locally, okay.
<v Speaker 3>So remember we talked about that Harry Potter bar that
<v Speaker 3>was coming to town, and it was I was gonna
<v Speaker 3>go Hogwarts and influenced, and it was it looked so
<v Speaker 3>neat the candles floating.
<v Speaker 1>Well it got shut the crap down.
<v Speaker 3>Warner Brothers came in and said, not today, Hagrid like
<v Speaker 3>for real. So someone with the reservation was told it
<v Speaker 3>was quote too magical, and Warner Brothers asked nice restaurant.
<v Speaker 1>To take it down.
<v Speaker 3>So no trips to Hogwarts on the docket now.
<v Speaker 2>And if they have a marketing person that like, thank you,
<v Speaker 2>crush your t's dot your eyes.
<v Speaker 3>Don't you think they figured this out before they made
<v Speaker 3>a big deal about opening a Harry Potter.
<v Speaker 2>Themed did they one check with Warner Brothers. That's fine,
<v Speaker 2>shut it down. We'll star Wars one.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly like we'll go under the radar.
<v Speaker 3>We'll be telling the local news stations and raid stations
<v Speaker 3>about it, so they tell everybody about it and Warner
<v Speaker 3>Brothers will never find out.
<v Speaker 1>We'll do a Barbie one next or something. It'll be fine.
<v Speaker 3>I know it's a bummer though I know a lot
<v Speaker 3>of people were looking for I was excited for it,
<v Speaker 3>not only that they put a lot of work into it.
<v Speaker 1>If you look at the pictures, man, did it look real?
<v Speaker 1>Props and everything they did the.
<v Speaker 3>Bannered food food, they went all out hired a chef.
<v Speaker 1>I am bombed that it is not going to be
<v Speaker 1>a thing.
<v Speaker 3>Hopefully they get to work something out to where they
<v Speaker 3>can bring it back in a smaller capacity or something.
<v Speaker 1>But right now, rival this is not happening.
<v Speaker 3>Another funny story, a lady tried to buy a car
<v Speaker 3>off TikTok and got scammed. Scammed on does not mean
<v Speaker 3>that's on TikTok's teamssed.
<v Speaker 1>On Instagram, never on TikTok. But Alicia.
<v Speaker 3>She's a twenty two year old nursing student from Florida
<v Speaker 3>and she tried to buy a vehicle through drive Cheap
<v Speaker 3>Cars USA off TikTok.
<v Speaker 1>Seems like exactly right there, right.
<v Speaker 3>Like, but I feel bad for her, Like she wrote
<v Speaker 3>an email to a local news station here because she
<v Speaker 3>purchased this vehicle, they were like, we need you to
<v Speaker 3>pay these things and when she paid those things, they
<v Speaker 3>stopped communication immediately.
<v Speaker 1>I'm shocked.
<v Speaker 3>So this local news station did some digging of their own,
<v Speaker 3>and this online company didn't return their calls either. The
<v Speaker 3>reason they reached out to our local news company is
<v Speaker 3>because the address listed for this company is in Aurora, right,
<v Speaker 3>So they go to this address. It's just an apartment complex.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, I have no idea what the hell you're
<v Speaker 1>talking aboactly, it's.
<v Speaker 3>Just not even a dealership. So it has been confirmed
<v Speaker 3>to not be a business. And they've had to come
<v Speaker 3>out and.
<v Speaker 1>Say that, Like, this girl is not the only one
<v Speaker 1>who's fallen for it.
<v Speaker 2>Question, yes, did she have the address of the supposed
<v Speaker 2>dealership off of TikTok?
<v Speaker 1>I believe so. Yeah. Isn't this the same marketing person
<v Speaker 1>for the Harry Potter game?
<v Speaker 2>Don't you just for a second go, I think I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna google this address you where lands before I send
<v Speaker 2>mountains dollars in cash to that.
<v Speaker 3>Again, if you're not familiar with the area, maybe it
<v Speaker 3>pops up a little differently on your Google maps.
<v Speaker 1>And I get it. Because she's a.
<v Speaker 3>Young person, she probably really needs this car. She's a
<v Speaker 3>nursing student, so money's probably tight. So sometimes you believe
<v Speaker 3>things that are too.
<v Speaker 2>Nursing students are generally pretty bright though, I know, I know,
<v Speaker 2>but that's kind of what.
<v Speaker 3>They were talking about red flags because the Colorado Attorney
<v Speaker 3>General had to come out and say, hey, this is
<v Speaker 3>a scam.
<v Speaker 1>It's not only this person.
<v Speaker 3>It is that scammers are attaching themselves to dealership online
<v Speaker 3>and creating this fake profile. But there are a lot
<v Speaker 3>of things that you can look out for. Prices that
<v Speaker 3>seem too good to be true, obviously, and then if
<v Speaker 3>they demand payments through like a Venmo app a Zella,
<v Speaker 3>you know, a gift cards, that's a good red flag.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of car for her second question, man, what
<v Speaker 2>kind of car was it?
<v Speaker 1>It was a Honda, like a Honda Civic. Yeah, yeah, exactly,
<v Speaker 1>and that's what she was hoping for.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, so she got scammed out of quite a
<v Speaker 3>bit of money.
<v Speaker 1>Well give me one more really quick.
<v Speaker 3>Rattlesnake by at Horsetooth Reservoir. Cody and Niedert. He was
<v Speaker 3>hiking up in that area Sunday on Mother's Day with
<v Speaker 3>his two kids and his wife and then after reaching
<v Speaker 3>the top, he was a bit by a rattlesnake on
<v Speaker 3>the way down.
<v Speaker 4>My wife and fun were ahead of my daughter and
<v Speaker 4>I and they went over him fine, and then my
<v Speaker 4>daughter went over and fine, and then he got me.
<v Speaker 1>Oh it sounds I know, well he sat getting.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and Cody suffers from ophadophobia, which is a fear
<v Speaker 3>of snakes, like an of course that's what he suffers.
<v Speaker 3>And yeah, he was definitely tripping out, but they were
<v Speaker 3>in cell phone service, so that's fortunate. Obviously called nine
<v Speaker 3>one one immediately and they have a whole video of
<v Speaker 3>the people getting the venom bringing it up to him.
<v Speaker 1>They have pictures of him on the stretcher.
<v Speaker 2>Up and my worst is getting bit by or else snake,
<v Speaker 2>being out in the middle of nowhere and just dying
<v Speaker 2>on the ground.
<v Speaker 3>We're going to reach ninety like a month quicker than
<v Speaker 3>we normally do.
<v Speaker 1>Here in Colorado season. They are out even earlier now,
<v Speaker 1>so just be aware.
<v Speaker 3>And again they're just they will be sunning on the
<v Speaker 3>rocks a lot of the time, So just be aware.
<v Speaker 1>If you're gonna be on hiking, I'm a hiking all
<v Speaker 1>the time, bring a stick with you. Oh my goodness.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, thankfully, Cody's fine. He is recovering, but be
<v Speaker 3>aware of those snakes out there.
<v Speaker 1>There you go.
<v Speaker 2>Guys, there's your mile high hype this morning. You're up
<v Speaker 2>to date on everything. You're in the know with JKJ
<v Speaker 2>You're at Mix one hundred, Jerry, Katy and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Thanks for hanging out with us on a Wednesday morning.
<v Speaker 2>You're in the middle of ninety minutes of commercial free entertainment.
<v Speaker 2>That means more of Denver's best music and more of Jeremy,
<v Speaker 2>Katy and Josh. So thank you so much, you guys
<v Speaker 2>for having a good time with us each and every day.
<v Speaker 2>If you're getting ready for work, school, whatever, you got
<v Speaker 2>that pants suit laid out, you might want to rethink it.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna be like ninety degrees today.
<v Speaker 3>Oh but look at you being fashioned forward with the
<v Speaker 3>pants suit.
<v Speaker 1>I might go for the skirt today instead of the
<v Speaker 1>pants suit. Just gonna say that I was talking to
<v Speaker 1>Katie yesterday. I've been I stink lately. It's been two
<v Speaker 1>days in a row, eight days in a row.
<v Speaker 3>He sits down, smells his armpit, and says, I smell food.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I gotta get some new deodorant.
<v Speaker 2>I had a long sleeved shirt on today to come
<v Speaker 2>in because we got a meeting.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I don't wear a nice shirt. I
<v Speaker 1>immediately took it off before I left the house. Yeah, nope,
<v Speaker 1>it's a T shirt day. Yeah, because Jeremy's a stinky boy. Well,
<v Speaker 1>and it's hot, You're right hot, and I get moist.
<v Speaker 3>They said we're gonna hit ninety a month earlier than normal.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, sorry, ladies, I'm taking not a good day
<v Speaker 2>to leave a bunch of condiments out in your car.
<v Speaker 1>I will tell you that.
<v Speaker 2>And the reason I'm telling you this is because there
<v Speaker 2>is a funny story out this morning. It's a mom
<v Speaker 2>on Instagram going viral for explaining how she learned about
<v Speaker 2>car ranch.
<v Speaker 1>It's something called ranch. Oh, and she was horrified by it.
<v Speaker 1>Here's a little clip of her from the ig for you.
<v Speaker 5>You were having dinner and my seventeen year old daughter
<v Speaker 5>says to me, there's no ranch, And I said, I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 5>I guess we're out of ranch. So she says, hold on.
<v Speaker 5>She gets up, and she walks out of the house,
<v Speaker 5>and she walks right back in and she goes, I
<v Speaker 5>just remembered I have car ranch. When I go to
<v Speaker 5>chickil A, I just get extra packets. Of ranch, and
<v Speaker 5>I just keep them in my car. I said, how
<v Speaker 5>long has that ranch been in your car? She's like,
<v Speaker 5>I don't know. Months. You can't just eat ranch.
<v Speaker 1>It's been sitting in a view in Florida.
<v Speaker 5>That is a recipe for explosive diarrhea. She goes, it's fine,
<v Speaker 5>open that up.
<v Speaker 1>No, don't no eating.
<v Speaker 3>I was gonna say, sometimes I leave the extra condiments
<v Speaker 3>in my car.
<v Speaker 1>But in the winter.
<v Speaker 3>Sometimes like summer, like, it's fine, right, Like they keep.
<v Speaker 1>Them out on I mean, they're not refrigerating anything with
<v Speaker 1>a time.
<v Speaker 3>I know at the rest don't they keep them on
<v Speaker 3>the counter.
<v Speaker 1>They are not refrigerated. They also keep that restaurant at
<v Speaker 1>sixty eight degrees. But I'm just saying, during the winter, when.
<v Speaker 2>It's cold, your rancher's fine.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, in the summer months, maybe keep that.
<v Speaker 2>And Mom is right there though at the end, that's
<v Speaker 2>a little poopoo.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah for sure, Little Poopa is gonna be your new
<v Speaker 1>rap name if you do that. All right, what's going
<v Speaker 1>on with your daughter?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, So she just got back from a little trip
<v Speaker 3>to Punta Kana. Loved it, she was a big fan.
<v Speaker 3>But when she came home, I noticed she didn't go
<v Speaker 3>straight home from the airport, and she told me that
<v Speaker 3>her and her friends immediately went and had hot pot
<v Speaker 3>because they couldn't eat anything while they were in the
<v Speaker 3>Dominican Republic. And the reason why is because they've fed
<v Speaker 3>them a lot of pigeon. She said that the first
<v Speaker 3>time she tried it, she's like, I didn't know what
<v Speaker 3>it was, and then you know, I took a few
<v Speaker 3>more bites and then they said, well, that's pigeon. That's
<v Speaker 3>a pretty gamy local delicacy. Actually, Like they eat it
<v Speaker 3>almost every meal. So she said that the second meals,
<v Speaker 3>like I couldn't really choke it down, and then they
<v Speaker 3>just stopped kind of eating all together. They'd eat the
<v Speaker 3>sides and whatnot, but they really tried not to eat
<v Speaker 3>the pigeon.
<v Speaker 2>It's one of those things like I feel like if
<v Speaker 2>you were eating it and you didn't know what it was,
<v Speaker 2>you'd be just fine and dandy, right and chicken.
<v Speaker 3>Again, Like there was something off about it, like it
<v Speaker 3>looked like chicken.
<v Speaker 1>But she was just like, I don't know if it's
<v Speaker 1>just it's chewy and not so chicken. Have you had pigeons,
<v Speaker 1>I've had it. I've had it. Yeah, oh yeah, when
<v Speaker 1>he lived on the streets, you have all of us.
<v Speaker 1>I would not thank you. Didn't they did. It was
<v Speaker 1>a local delicacy down there.
<v Speaker 4>No, it's just chewier and it's not so when you
<v Speaker 4>bite into a chicken, it's very a distinct taste. This
<v Speaker 4>is much more rubbery. That's all I remember about it.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, it's not it's not like you're biting
<v Speaker 4>into it and going, this is chicken. You're biting into
<v Speaker 4>it and going, it's not breaking.
<v Speaker 3>There's something wrong.
<v Speaker 1>Flavor, according to the Google a nutty flavor. I did
<v Speaker 1>not expect that. They say it is succulent.
<v Speaker 2>It's a dark meat that has its tender and moist
<v Speaker 2>very dark cross between chicken and duck, often compared to
<v Speaker 2>venison due to its deep red color. But hey, a
<v Speaker 2>bird's a bird, Like, what's the difference for her? Like
<v Speaker 2>she's eating chicken.
<v Speaker 3>Well, but she kind of gets grossed out and we
<v Speaker 3>will be eating something and she'll just look at me
<v Speaker 3>and she's like, oh, it tastes like bird.
<v Speaker 1>I can't eat it now.
<v Speaker 3>Like that's actually the phrase she says, it tastes it
<v Speaker 3>tastes too much like birds. So I know, like she
<v Speaker 3>has just a weird thing about food anyway. But I'd
<v Speaker 3>never heard of pigeon being a delicacy, So I guess
<v Speaker 3>I'm a little shocked now to know that you've tried
<v Speaker 3>it like other people, just like venison.
<v Speaker 1>Huh.
<v Speaker 2>It's got a silky texture. With a silky texture, It's
<v Speaker 2>it's a little unsettling, yeah, because I think you just,
<v Speaker 2>you know, you associate the pigeon with, you know, just
<v Speaker 2>being around town and eating.
<v Speaker 1>All the scraps that are around. They're dirty birds, that's it.
<v Speaker 1>They're like a raven almost.
<v Speaker 3>In other parts of the world. Are they not like that?
<v Speaker 3>Are they not scavengers? And so they don't have the
<v Speaker 3>beau is that's what you are what you eat, right,
<v Speaker 3>So when I think of pigeons, I'm like, you know, like.
<v Speaker 2>What are they eating in the city, Like old gum,
<v Speaker 2>little bits of asphalt, maybe cigarette butts.
<v Speaker 1>I've seen them eat cigarette but I've seen him Ea,
<v Speaker 1>cigarette butts too, are like yeah, you don't even have
<v Speaker 1>to throw them on the trigger to smoke him. They're
<v Speaker 1>already smoked.
<v Speaker 3>Just trash like on the ground in general.
<v Speaker 1>So our trash bird.
<v Speaker 3>Again, I think like in other places of the world.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe they're viewed different, they have a different diet.
<v Speaker 2>So obviously we're we're puckered here, you know where we
<v Speaker 2>know we like our chickens and our cows.
<v Speaker 1>And that's about it.
<v Speaker 2>Right, exactly, Like what's the cappy bara. Isn't that the
<v Speaker 2>one where they eat in like Venezuela and stuffs, the
<v Speaker 2>big hamsters they eat. Yeah, my brother in law is
<v Speaker 2>from Venezuela and he's he's like, oh yeah, we eat
<v Speaker 2>those down there.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, I don't know. I haven't tried. It's hard
<v Speaker 1>to eat animals that are cute. It is.
<v Speaker 3>Well, now I'm.
<v Speaker 1>Put a little sweet baby rays on it. Give it hell.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, I love that.
<v Speaker 2>All of our carnivore experts are chiming in on the
<v Speaker 2>text line. Somebody said, but chickens also eat other chickens.
<v Speaker 2>They're cannibals. That's gross too, you know, that's a solid point.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know they ate each other. I find that slight.
<v Speaker 2>Those little beaks they're they're pecking each other. Somebody called
<v Speaker 2>pigeons the rats of the sky, and then I said
<v Speaker 2>something about how it's hard to eat animals that are cute,
<v Speaker 2>and Christine wrote in and said cows and bison are
<v Speaker 2>so cute and I will not think twice about eating them. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>then she wrote, and then she said in a gift
<v Speaker 2>that said get in my belly again.
<v Speaker 1>Another solid point.
<v Speaker 2>I've seen some really cute cows and put that on
<v Speaker 2>a bun with some pickles, and I know, ketchup mao
<v Speaker 2>and give me some.
<v Speaker 1>This factor doesn't affect me not being a vegetarian. I
<v Speaker 1>guess is what it is. I think it's part of it.
<v Speaker 2>Is there big too, Like the big cuteness is different
<v Speaker 2>than small cuteness to me, like the cappy bar or
<v Speaker 2>somebody chimed in and said guinea pigs.
<v Speaker 1>You know, like the small cuteness gets me.
<v Speaker 2>It would be harder to eat a small cute animal, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>than like a big stinky cow.
<v Speaker 1>You can eat a little.
<v Speaker 3>Baby chicken, but a big fat chicken.
<v Speaker 1>Fat chicken. Yes. You know what.
<v Speaker 2>One thing that I have no problem eating, and I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if you've noticed this is the ice cream,
<v Speaker 2>like the sandwich.
<v Speaker 1>Select ice cream sandwiches.
<v Speaker 2>Have you noticed the selection anymore in the grocery stores
<v Speaker 2>with ice cream sandwiches.
<v Speaker 3>I walked through the freezer section the other day and
<v Speaker 3>was shocked with the amount of offerings we now have.
<v Speaker 3>It used to be just, yeah, the ice cream sandwich,
<v Speaker 3>the two chocolate wafers with the vanilla in between. Sometimes
<v Speaker 3>it was the Neapolitan flavors in between that want it
<v Speaker 3>was strawberry ice.
<v Speaker 1>Plimole, Yes, exactly.
<v Speaker 3>But now we're not even talking like the ice cream
<v Speaker 3>in the middle being unique. We're talking about the actual
<v Speaker 3>sandwich just being out of bounds.
<v Speaker 1>I never would have thought rice crispy treats for.
<v Speaker 3>An ice cream sandwich, Like in the frozen food section
<v Speaker 3>they are selling these.
<v Speaker 1>How does that work with your teeth? Have no idea?
<v Speaker 2>How do they keep it soft? That would ship a
<v Speaker 2>tooth all they want dentist, Yes.
<v Speaker 3>And I know that, like certain things are needed when
<v Speaker 3>it comes to the ice cream sandwiches, like just the cookie, right,
<v Speaker 3>like the traditional chocolate cookie we were just talking about.
<v Speaker 3>They have to do things a little different than your
<v Speaker 3>normal cookie in order for them to say nice and
<v Speaker 3>soft and everything, and they do.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, so I'm sure that they add something into
<v Speaker 3>the rice crispy treat to keep it soft even though
<v Speaker 3>it's frozen, because it has to be unappealing if it's
<v Speaker 3>frozen regular rice crispies. But now you're talking, maybe we
<v Speaker 3>get up the game with some cocoa oh my, and
<v Speaker 3>even just away from the rice crispy variety, like what
<v Speaker 3>about some golden grams?
<v Speaker 1>This is crazy crazy ice cream pop tarts? Also are
<v Speaker 1>the pop tart ones now that the ice cream.
<v Speaker 3>Sandwich has reached out and ventured into And I'm just
<v Speaker 3>a huge fan of this. Like again, I like when
<v Speaker 3>we are evolving when it comes to the food, Like,
<v Speaker 3>let's make the food better.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know why we wait, we're progressing nicely as
<v Speaker 2>a society. Yeah, and we can make ice cream sandwiches
<v Speaker 2>out of rice Christmas trees?
<v Speaker 3>What else can we make ice cream sandwiches out of?
<v Speaker 3>So we have pop tarts and rice crispy trees? What
<v Speaker 3>else do you think would be a good go to?
<v Speaker 1>God, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>You're putting me on the spot. Well, if we can
<v Speaker 2>go back to the cows, how about hammerger pat no joke.
<v Speaker 2>The probably the best ice cream sandwich is the fat Boys.
<v Speaker 1>Do you know the fat boy ones are thick? Yes?
<v Speaker 1>Those are things well, and they have a lot of
<v Speaker 1>varieties too. I'm looking at a lot of them.
<v Speaker 3>The true ice cream sandwiches that Fat Boy where they're
<v Speaker 3>the cinnamon kind of outer and then in the middle
<v Speaker 3>there's actually a swirl of cinnamon caramel goodness, shut your
<v Speaker 3>face right there in the ice cream too. So yeah,
<v Speaker 3>even just the ice cream in general, they are really
<v Speaker 3>up in their game.
<v Speaker 1>So I'm a fan. I'm a big fan of this.
<v Speaker 2>Well, it's fantastic pick going lactose intolerant in this conversation.
<v Speaker 1>We're sorry conversation Sorry about that, Jerry, Katie and Josh
<v Speaker 1>one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Well, text of the day goes to Steph because we
<v Speaker 2>were just talking about all the unique ice cream sandwiches
<v Speaker 2>out there, and I did make a comment about being
<v Speaker 2>lactose intolerant and probably hating that segment, but Steph wrote
<v Speaker 2>in and said, yeah, guys, I have a dairy allergy,
<v Speaker 2>so screw you respectfully.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, texts of the Davis staff bringing this sas you.
<v Speaker 2>Guys ever want to sound off on what we're talking
<v Speaker 2>about here on the morning show. Same number for text
<v Speaker 2>line and Colonis. We're very accessible three or three six
<v Speaker 2>nine one one mix three oh three six nine one
<v Speaker 2>sixteen forty nine. Story here says we're all just looking
<v Speaker 2>for a little more fun in our day.
<v Speaker 1>We need more fun.
<v Speaker 2>It's just work, work, work, Yeah, I think that's about right.
<v Speaker 2>I could use a little more fun for sure. But
<v Speaker 2>the problem is is once you start factoring in going
<v Speaker 2>to work, coming home, doing your chores, dealing with family stuff,
<v Speaker 2>doing the laundry, blah blah blah blah blah, you don't.
<v Speaker 1>Have any time left in your day to have some fun.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and this survey says about forty percent of Americans
<v Speaker 2>want more fun and they think they can achieve that
<v Speaker 2>by just having two.
<v Speaker 1>And a half more hours per day of whatever they
<v Speaker 1>want to do of fun essentially. Okay, so let's wave
<v Speaker 1>the magic.
<v Speaker 2>Wand there you get two and a half hours to
<v Speaker 2>go have some fun. What are you gonna do? The
<v Speaker 2>first thing on the list watch TV? Come on, Fat America.
<v Speaker 1>I'll play it for you. It's Fat America.
<v Speaker 2>Go outside, go touch grass, hug a tree. The other
<v Speaker 2>fun things people want to do, dine out, follow personal
<v Speaker 2>hobbies did make the lists.
<v Speaker 1>If you're into pottery for three D, printing, playing games yatzi,
<v Speaker 1>who know?
<v Speaker 2>And then enjoying outdoor activities also made the list there
<v Speaker 2>at the bottom, So going camping or something.
<v Speaker 1>But I think that's about right. What would you do
<v Speaker 1>with two and a half hours a day?
<v Speaker 3>No, Like, I just am so by myself now, like
<v Speaker 3>that's my free time is filled with that. So I
<v Speaker 3>think I would like to add someone to it, Like
<v Speaker 3>I would really like a man to have more fun
<v Speaker 3>with on for two and a half hours a day,
<v Speaker 3>someone to do these things with, like you know, actually
<v Speaker 3>go out and be outside and touch grass and touch a.
<v Speaker 1>Tree, but with a man.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so you've been texting with that one dude the
<v Speaker 2>past couple of days, Like what happened with that?
<v Speaker 1>You were like hot and heavy with this guy.
<v Speaker 3>We were just getting to know each other and can
<v Speaker 3>you name him met, Let's call.
<v Speaker 2>Him Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike Mike.
<v Speaker 3>So we were yeah, chatting a little bit and things
<v Speaker 3>were progressing to the point where we're like, hey, let's
<v Speaker 3>go ahead and meet.
<v Speaker 1>And we did meet over the weekend, and I.
<v Speaker 3>Have to tell you it was kind of fabulous in
<v Speaker 3>the sense that we sat there for three hours and
<v Speaker 3>just talked and talked and talked, and he was so
<v Speaker 3>much fun to talk to. But the thing is, immediately
<v Speaker 3>I sat down and within fifteen thirty seconds of meeting
<v Speaker 3>this guy, I could tell there wasn't really a spark
<v Speaker 3>there right like that fast. Yeah, just I mean it
<v Speaker 3>like there was something about it where when we met
<v Speaker 3>in person, I just immediately was like, you know what,
<v Speaker 3>I feel like this guy could be just a really
<v Speaker 3>good friend, almost like a brother vibe, Like I get
<v Speaker 3>along really well with my brother, and that's what he
<v Speaker 3>reminded me of.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry, were you saying what you were talking about?
<v Speaker 2>Like what were everything?
<v Speaker 1>Does everything?
<v Speaker 3>Because we got like we are both huge into just
<v Speaker 3>the food culture around towns. We like to go to
<v Speaker 3>different restaurants and whatnot. He's also a big sports fan,
<v Speaker 3>so we were talking about sports.
<v Speaker 1>He loves to hike.
<v Speaker 3>We were talking about hiking and just match.
<v Speaker 1>No, it wasn't the romantic was not spar it was and.
<v Speaker 3>It was like immediately I was like I want to
<v Speaker 3>be this guy's friend. Like I just felt like he
<v Speaker 3>could be such a fun person to hang out with.
<v Speaker 1>Because also it's you know, I come.
<v Speaker 3>Across this a lot and when I want to go
<v Speaker 3>have fun, A lot of times people associate going out
<v Speaker 3>and having drinks and stuff with that, like immediately that's
<v Speaker 3>part of their having fun and I don't do that.
<v Speaker 3>And this guy also wasn't super focused on that, Like
<v Speaker 3>his idea of fun is actually going out and doing
<v Speaker 3>things like we're talking, and so that's where a lot
<v Speaker 3>of the oh my gosh, we should be friends came from.
<v Speaker 3>So here's the thing is, we went on this date,
<v Speaker 3>talked for three hours, and I really sat there and
<v Speaker 3>thought about it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, is it weird if I messaged this guy.
<v Speaker 3>We didn't exchange phone numbers, but we were still talking
<v Speaker 3>on the app. It's like, is it weird if I
<v Speaker 3>message him and say, hey, I didn't feel a spark,
<v Speaker 3>but I really want to be your friend. I think
<v Speaker 3>we should be homies.
<v Speaker 1>And it's kind of a first impression.
<v Speaker 2>It's kind if I if there was nothing there romantically
<v Speaker 2>and I got that back from a lady, I'd be like, well,
<v Speaker 2>that's kind of cool, Like I can carry a conversation.
<v Speaker 1>And at least show somebody a good time.
<v Speaker 2>In another way, yeah, that's I would find that kind
<v Speaker 2>of heartwarming.
<v Speaker 3>So that's the way I thought about it, and then
<v Speaker 3>I talked to a few people.
<v Speaker 1>Well here's the thing.
<v Speaker 3>So I sat on the idea for a couple of days,
<v Speaker 3>and I talked to a few people about it. The
<v Speaker 3>baby Nana actually gave me the best advice because she's like,
<v Speaker 3>you know, you come across a lot of people in
<v Speaker 3>your life were when you meet them, they're your friend
<v Speaker 3>and you know that.
<v Speaker 1>So this is just like that.
<v Speaker 3>You know, this is just because you went out with
<v Speaker 3>the assumption that it could be romantic doesn't mean I mean, why.
<v Speaker 1>Not let the spark maybe build a little bit.
<v Speaker 4>I mean a lot of times the best relationships start
<v Speaker 4>with just the friendship. Why not be friends and then
<v Speaker 4>see if something builds later on, Like it doesn't have
<v Speaker 4>to be the initial, like you could be my husband,
<v Speaker 4>you know.
<v Speaker 3>And I don't want to put out because like we've
<v Speaker 3>talked about this before or like the ick.
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't the dick. I don't want to say that,
<v Speaker 1>but I.
<v Speaker 2>Just you had you could not envision him laying on
<v Speaker 2>top of you, Yeah, because.
<v Speaker 1>That's the itck is so mean.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like that's not the way it was.
<v Speaker 1>But I and.
<v Speaker 3>I know a lot of relationships can build from a
<v Speaker 3>solid friendship connection.
<v Speaker 1>But again, I just feel like this will be just
<v Speaker 1>a friendship. And so did you send him the text?
<v Speaker 1>I did?
<v Speaker 3>I sat on in a few days, and then I
<v Speaker 3>sent him not only a message, but along It was like, Hi,
<v Speaker 3>I don't know if this is weird or not, but
<v Speaker 3>I really like talking you. Now. I didn't feel a spark,
<v Speaker 3>but I really feel like we could be friends. And
<v Speaker 3>then I kept on saying I never do this with anybody,
<v Speaker 3>like if I don't like somebody.
<v Speaker 1>But I explained that to him.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, if I don't like someone, I'll do
<v Speaker 3>the adult thing and move on. But I really thought
<v Speaker 3>that I wanted to reach out to you because you
<v Speaker 3>don't have a three hour conversation with somebody for nothing.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like your messages are pretty darn genuine. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>it's totally going to depend on the person on the
<v Speaker 2>they're in it, you know how they're reading it. But
<v Speaker 2>I've received messages from you, and I feel like that
<v Speaker 2>would probably be a pretty darn sweet message.
<v Speaker 1>I wanta do you reply back? He is not replied back.
<v Speaker 1>He hasn't replied back.
<v Speaker 3>You sure he hasn't unmatched? Just so well let me see.
<v Speaker 3>Let me go ahead and look real quick. So he
<v Speaker 3>did not reply back. It's been about a day.
<v Speaker 1>Oh no, hold up, he replied back.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my gosh, I'm gonna wait.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, so I want you to read it beforehand. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>read it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna play a song. Okay, we'll be back about
<v Speaker 2>two minutes and thirty seconds. Read it now and see
<v Speaker 2>if we can come back and read it.
<v Speaker 1>Because it's this is personal, this is this guy's life.
<v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, that's fine.
<v Speaker 1>It's a nice message back. Actually, all right, I want
<v Speaker 1>to know how he feels about just being a friend. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>he's just a good guy. Let's talk about it, all right,
<v Speaker 1>let's find out. Let me.
<v Speaker 3>Actually, I want to redo my message because again, it
<v Speaker 3>was long, kind of windy. Sure, so, Hi, I've been
<v Speaker 3>debating on whether or not to send this. I had
<v Speaker 3>so much fun talking with you. That being said, I
<v Speaker 3>did not feel a spark between us. I really liked
<v Speaker 3>hanging out.
<v Speaker 1>With you, though.
<v Speaker 3>You can totally tell me if this is too weird
<v Speaker 3>or not. But I was wondering if you'd like to
<v Speaker 3>be friends.
<v Speaker 1>Da da da da da da da da dada.
<v Speaker 3>You can totally just unmatch this if you're not feeling it.
<v Speaker 1>Just thought i'd.
<v Speaker 3>Ask so again.
<v Speaker 1>Okay.
<v Speaker 3>A few days for him to finally respond, and just
<v Speaker 3>this morning he did and he said, Okay, haha, anytime
<v Speaker 3>I can sit down with anyone for three hours, that's
<v Speaker 3>a friend to me.
<v Speaker 2>No friends, friend zone, friend zone, and he he really
<v Speaker 2>was fun.
<v Speaker 3>And again, like my thought process is too and maybe
<v Speaker 3>this is overthinking it, but I feel like being in
<v Speaker 3>a like his friends probably are a little like him, right,
<v Speaker 3>so you know, maybe I could be friends with this
<v Speaker 3>and then.
<v Speaker 2>But if his friends are like him, you might meet
<v Speaker 2>his friend group and find one dude within that friend
<v Speaker 2>group that also likes to eat and hike and that
<v Speaker 2>you would like to have him lay on top of you.
<v Speaker 1>You pick it up.
<v Speaker 3>What I'm putting.
<v Speaker 1>Brilliant. So it's all part of a master plan. But
<v Speaker 1>I do like friends friends, don't sleep with one of
<v Speaker 1>his friends. Okay, that's really good. Hey, let me let
<v Speaker 1>me just tell you.
<v Speaker 2>My wife actually just texted during that last break and
<v Speaker 2>she said, uh, tell Katie, just remind her that you
<v Speaker 2>and I were friends first, as in me and her
<v Speaker 2>friends first.
<v Speaker 1>We were friend zoned. But you guys didn't like each
<v Speaker 1>other at first. There's not a lot of spark there. Yeah. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so we like to do the same things.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, maybe it is something that could grow.
<v Speaker 2>And then she grew to love me and she found
<v Speaker 2>me incredibly attractive. It's so funny and the best part
<v Speaker 2>is is she laid on me.
<v Speaker 3>Her Jar Katy and Josh one hundred Katie.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like this is right up your alley because
<v Speaker 2>it deals with women's restrooms.
<v Speaker 1>Although I've been known to lurk, yeah, you a hey,
<v Speaker 1>what are you doing in here?
<v Speaker 3>You are a creeper out of here? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Uh, they say in this story that public restrooms have
<v Speaker 2>become an unexpected center of female social interaction, generating approximately
<v Speaker 2>two point four billion connections annually across America.
<v Speaker 1>In the ladies room, Yeah, because.
<v Speaker 2>Y'all are in there getting old chatty, put your lip glass?
<v Speaker 1>Is that unexpected?
<v Speaker 3>When you see somebody in the restroom, you at least
<v Speaker 3>say hi?
<v Speaker 1>It's just kind of given.
<v Speaker 3>And the times that sparks up a conversation. A lot
<v Speaker 3>of time it's because.
<v Speaker 1>Of what you're wearing.
<v Speaker 3>Oh love that necklace, and then you well, where'd you
<v Speaker 3>get it?
<v Speaker 1>Like that stuff? You know, it just sparks the conversations.
<v Speaker 2>No, saying ladies are having an average of four positive
<v Speaker 2>encounters on a monthly basis in a random women's restroom
<v Speaker 2>in a public facility with another lady. About four times
<v Speaker 2>a month you're meeting up with a rando stranger in there.
<v Speaker 1>You're like only gunning on.
<v Speaker 3>Your Okay, I think that's a high number.
<v Speaker 4>I don't necessarily like bars and going, you know, the
<v Speaker 4>drunk conversations.
<v Speaker 1>If people were.
<v Speaker 3>Out and about in the bar setting, I can see
<v Speaker 3>this a lot more like when you're out partying.
<v Speaker 1>Your best friends.
<v Speaker 3>They're all best for you need best friends every night,
<v Speaker 3>so that most I would agree.
<v Speaker 2>The most frequent exchanges include giving compliments, receiving compliments, carrying
<v Speaker 2>feminine products huh, and just generally providing emotional support. So
<v Speaker 2>maybe you're in there bawling your eyes out or.
<v Speaker 1>You had a bad deal, that's it.
<v Speaker 3>And then someone comes in and they're like, girl, he's
<v Speaker 3>not worth it, and you're like that you don't need
<v Speaker 3>no man.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, that is exactly it.
<v Speaker 3>There's a lot of camaraderie within the ladies restroom, especially
<v Speaker 3>when we're talking smack about you guys.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, let's go gets.
<v Speaker 3>Exactly I tell you what though, there is and I
<v Speaker 3>don't know if it's like this with guys, but when
<v Speaker 3>you're in like say you're talking to the lady at
<v Speaker 3>the sink, and then all of a sudden you have to
<v Speaker 3>go into the restroom and do your little tinkle. When
<v Speaker 3>you're doing that, you don't talk like that's where the
<v Speaker 3>conversation ends.
<v Speaker 2>I talked constantly as I was just in the bathroom
<v Speaker 2>with our engineer, and we had a full conversation about
<v Speaker 2>what he's got to do today, mid street, midstream. Everything
<v Speaker 2>was great, zip up, zip down, whatever.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And then I was still going because I'd had a
<v Speaker 2>lot of coffee, and he walked over to the sink
<v Speaker 2>was washing his hands, and we were still talking.
<v Speaker 1>See, I just.
<v Speaker 3>Don't even think I have the concentration like it's like,
<v Speaker 3>it's not I know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even use my hands when I'm in there.
<v Speaker 1>I just stand there. I have my hands in my pockets.
<v Speaker 2>Actually at the against the I'm fine, completely fine.
<v Speaker 1>But that surprises me with you guys.
<v Speaker 2>You're talking so much as you're putting on your makeup
<v Speaker 2>and talking about all the crap in your life and yeah,
<v Speaker 2>those great Lululemon yoga pants.
<v Speaker 1>As soon as you hit the stall. It's like me,
<v Speaker 1>I don't.
<v Speaker 3>Know if oeather ladies feel this way. I don't want
<v Speaker 3>to speak for all of us. But for me, yes,
<v Speaker 3>I'd like to at least pause the conversation while I
<v Speaker 3>tinkle because.
<v Speaker 1>It's it's hard.
<v Speaker 2>Let me ask you something I've seen a couple times
<v Speaker 2>in the men's room, which is unsettling. I'll walk there
<v Speaker 2>in there in the morning and there'll be a dude
<v Speaker 2>like kind of getting ready, like doing his hair, and yeah,
<v Speaker 2>we're kind of primping for the day.
<v Speaker 1>Do you experience that in the ladies room? That's where
<v Speaker 1>you do it? Like it and that's the thing Like
<v Speaker 1>for me, I come in so early.
<v Speaker 3>You would think that I would be putting on my
<v Speaker 3>makeup a lot in there, but I am fortunate I
<v Speaker 3>get to do it at home, but I bring my
<v Speaker 3>makeup with me just in case I need to do
<v Speaker 3>it time. It's a touch later, but I come in
<v Speaker 3>to this restroom specifically, we've got ladies who put on
<v Speaker 3>their full face when they get to work. Every building
<v Speaker 3>I've worked at, I don't think every building I've worked
<v Speaker 3>in somebody does that. And I just think, like, again,
<v Speaker 3>it's maybe their busy mom and their kids keep them
<v Speaker 3>so busy at home that they don't.
<v Speaker 1>Have time to put their makeup on. So when they
<v Speaker 1>get to work.
<v Speaker 3>It's their first free moment of the morning, so I
<v Speaker 3>completely understand.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, like I.
<v Speaker 3>Don't currently put my makeup on in the bathroom.
<v Speaker 1>But I've been there. I've definitely been in that situation.
<v Speaker 2>And you're on your mate on company time, so you're
<v Speaker 2>getting paid. But it's like that old rhyme that people go.
<v Speaker 2>They don't poop at home, they wait until they get
<v Speaker 2>to work. Right.
<v Speaker 1>Where is that rhyme?
<v Speaker 2>Boss makes I make a nickel, Boss makes a dime.
<v Speaker 1>That's why I poop on company time. So that's why
<v Speaker 1>they do it, Katie.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, this is by far my most favorite time of
<v Speaker 2>the show, Katie.
<v Speaker 1>Really is.
<v Speaker 2>We get to meet some of our incredible listeners and
<v Speaker 2>talk to your kiddos if they're in the car with you.
<v Speaker 2>But I want you to call in right now, especially
<v Speaker 2>if you've never played before, if you've never made it
<v Speaker 2>on the air with us.
<v Speaker 1>This is fast five.
<v Speaker 2>So three oh three six nine one one mix three
<v Speaker 2>oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine will get
<v Speaker 2>you in the studios.
<v Speaker 1>We'll get you on the air. Hopefully I'll throw a category.
<v Speaker 2>At you and start a ten second timer and within
<v Speaker 2>those ten seconds, you gotta give me five things that
<v Speaker 2>have to do with that category. You think you're awake
<v Speaker 2>and you can pull this off, would love to meet you.
<v Speaker 2>Three oh three six nine one one mix three oh
<v Speaker 2>three six nine one, sixteen forty nine. Now for people
<v Speaker 2>who have never heard this before, Katie, give us some
<v Speaker 2>examples of ones that we've done.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, so the categories are all over the place. You
<v Speaker 3>ask for things like five snacks that start with the
<v Speaker 3>letter D. You've also said, quick, name five bands that
<v Speaker 3>have a bird theme in their name, and the one
<v Speaker 3>that went to yesterday that was just five brand mascots,
<v Speaker 3>and Matt came out with the wind. Yeah, Matt came
<v Speaker 3>in high Yeah, yeah good. And a couple times you
<v Speaker 3>asked that, so sometimes that happens too. You never know
<v Speaker 3>with the categories.
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy, I'm all over.
<v Speaker 2>The place, you really are, I'm all jacked up on
<v Speaker 2>mountain dew uh huh uh three oh three six nine
<v Speaker 2>one one mix three oh three six nine one, sixteen
<v Speaker 2>forty nine. As always, looking for the newbies, people that
<v Speaker 2>have never played before, and what are we playing for today?
<v Speaker 3>It is an epic prize because it's two tickets to
<v Speaker 3>that taste of elage for this weekend. So it's happening
<v Speaker 3>both Saturday and Sunday, and it's over thirty different chefs
<v Speaker 3>on hand to feed you with seven unique cuisine zones. O.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'll go anywhere with a cuisine zone. Seven of them, Jeremyne,
<v Speaker 2>that's a lot. I've only been to ones with five
<v Speaker 2>and six. So six seven, six, seven.
<v Speaker 1>Three oh three, six nine one, sixteen forty nine. I'll
<v Speaker 1>get you in.
<v Speaker 2>If you get placed on hold, do not hang up,
<v Speaker 2>and we will start with.
<v Speaker 1>Eddie high Ed.
<v Speaker 6>Yo, what's up?
<v Speaker 3>Guys?
<v Speaker 1>Yo dog, I see on my screen you're headed to
<v Speaker 1>Mount Rushmore. Yes, we are.
<v Speaker 6>I've got my wife and my son and his girlfriend
<v Speaker 6>in the car. I just picked them up up the
<v Speaker 6>side of the road. I don't know what they were
<v Speaker 6>doing it that way.
<v Speaker 2>They had their thumb out and they're like, let's go
<v Speaker 2>see some rock, some faces on rock exactly.
<v Speaker 6>We're gonna go stare at rock faces for a couple hours.
<v Speaker 1>You know. I took the family up there three four
<v Speaker 1>years ago. We had a blast. Oh yeah, it's so
<v Speaker 1>magical up there, it really is. It is.
<v Speaker 6>Oh yeah, we're gonna have a blast.
<v Speaker 1>Are you gonna go?
<v Speaker 2>Last year, were yeah, yeah, yeah, you're gonna go to
<v Speaker 2>Bear Country, USA and reptile gardens.
<v Speaker 6>Bear Country. Absolutely, we're talking about reptile gardens too. And
<v Speaker 6>then he's letting the old man play some golf.
<v Speaker 2>I would recommend my birthday week age your birthday.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, well it's next week, but they you know, they
<v Speaker 6>had to celebrate it now, so you know.
<v Speaker 1>That's all right. I still got to give you this. Here,
<v Speaker 1>we go celebrate it all week. It's birthday.
<v Speaker 7>There you go in.
<v Speaker 2>We'll have fun. And yes, go to Bear Country and
<v Speaker 2>reptile gardens.
<v Speaker 1>Those are both.
<v Speaker 3>And make sure you put up on the side of
<v Speaker 3>the road and pan for gold as well, because that's
<v Speaker 3>always fun.
<v Speaker 1>No really, okay, you could do that.
<v Speaker 6>We got a whole agenda now, thanks guys.
<v Speaker 1>All right, buddy, everyone's like, give to the stupid game.
<v Speaker 1>All right, you're right, Are you ready?
<v Speaker 4>Ed?

<v Speaker 2>his girlfriend.

<v Speaker 6>Uh, yeah, that one that she was in the other
<v Speaker 6>one that she was in.
<v Speaker 1>Oh man, yo, that one boy, you really crapped. You
<v Speaker 1>crap the bet on that one. You don't think she's
<v Speaker 1>in that?
<v Speaker 6>Man?
<v Speaker 1>That was Meg Ryan.
<v Speaker 6>Oh well, epic failure. But at least it's my birthday,
<v Speaker 6>your birthday.
<v Speaker 1>Hold on, you want another one? Here you go. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's ship birthday.
<v Speaker 6>I love it.
<v Speaker 1>I love it. Safe.
<v Speaker 6>You guys could be my best friends. We could hang out.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely love that Eddie and safe travels to you and
<v Speaker 2>your family.

<v Speaker 1>of town. What are you doing today?
<v Speaker 7>We're going to school and then the orthod honest later.
<v Speaker 1>Oh bar, that's not fun at all.
<v Speaker 7>Actually, my kids are excited.
<v Speaker 6>They all want braces.
<v Speaker 8>They think it's a right passage. You know.
<v Speaker 2>They're not as uh. I mean, my son has braces,
<v Speaker 2>my daughter had to have braces. They're not like dorky
<v Speaker 2>like they used to be, like the one's like, yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 2>you got braces.
<v Speaker 1>Great, you know, don't.
<v Speaker 8>Eat because everybody has them now I don't know.
<v Speaker 7>They get to put cool colors on.
<v Speaker 3>They do, and they consider them fashionable. A lot of
<v Speaker 3>the kids do, so it's.
<v Speaker 2>Like, yeah, yeah, my wife growing up had to have
<v Speaker 2>the full head gear though, like the whole thing.
<v Speaker 7>I think they should bring that back.
<v Speaker 1>It's so fun. They don't have to do that part.
<v Speaker 2>And I always talk like this when she starts talking
<v Speaker 2>about the kids doing breaks and it's I was like, honey,
<v Speaker 2>does this bring back memories when you had to wear
<v Speaker 2>the full head gear? And Betty certainly dies. I love that.
<v Speaker 8>I love that list so funny.
<v Speaker 1>Good luck today, Jennifer. All right, what do I make
<v Speaker 1>for you? I use this one the other day. I

<v Speaker 1>Jean's into turds.

<v Speaker 2>Oh okay, but I hope that all works for you
<v Speaker 2>with that, Yeah, totally good.
<v Speaker 1>Luck with that.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 6>I think I was doing the last time I got through,
<v Speaker 6>I was doing the same thing.
<v Speaker 3>That's remember sounds familiar, it does?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yes, you're still doing it. Well that's good. Good,

<v Speaker 7>Pinky in the brain.

<v Speaker 2>Good luck with all your treatments. I'm gonna put you
<v Speaker 2>on holding. We're gonna come back and tell you about
<v Speaker 2>your prize. So don't go anywhere, all right.
<v Speaker 9>Thanks good people today, such good people, and we'll meet
<v Speaker 9>new people tomorrow morning, seven point thirty here at Denver's
<v Speaker 9>Mix one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>Thanks for hanging out with us, you guys.
<v Speaker 2>This list is floating around online and people are sounding
<v Speaker 2>off on it. It must be a Reddit thread or something.
<v Speaker 2>The craziest thing you've done in the buff And somebody
<v Speaker 2>said this one's pretty good. Painting a bedroom. I just
<v Speaker 2>didn't want to mess up any of.
<v Speaker 1>My clothes, was the quote on here.
<v Speaker 2>So there they are with their roller and their bucket
<v Speaker 2>of Shurwin Williams and they're completely naked painting the room, which,
<v Speaker 2>when I think about it, not a bad idea, not
<v Speaker 2>a bad idea at all. Somebody said they played a
<v Speaker 2>dancing game on Xbox in the nude. They were home alone,
<v Speaker 2>it was a hot summer day, and they grote, why
<v Speaker 2>the hell not.
<v Speaker 1>That's a lot of baluncy.
<v Speaker 2>That's got to be careful. Covered the dog's eyes on
<v Speaker 2>that one. Scuba diving and that doesn't seem too crazy.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lot of skinny dipping and stuff that goes on.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Somebody said they lost a bet and had to fry
<v Speaker 2>bacon in the nude couch.
<v Speaker 1>I love this lady. She said, I went tubing in
<v Speaker 1>Colorado in the nude.
<v Speaker 2>Um.
<v Speaker 1>That one seems a little dangerous. I don't think i'd
<v Speaker 1>want to do that. I want a little coverage if
<v Speaker 1>I hit a rock. Yeah, something I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Somebody said they decided to run around naked in their
<v Speaker 2>backyard during a hailstorm.
<v Speaker 1>They did it for ten bucks, Okay, whatever.
<v Speaker 2>Swimming in the Everglades, dancing naked in front of a
<v Speaker 2>full length mirror.
<v Speaker 3>We've all done that yesterday, don't judge.
<v Speaker 2>I think by far my most favorite one on here, though,
<v Speaker 2>everybody thinks get a visual of like your best friend
<v Speaker 2>doing this, okay, riding a horse.
<v Speaker 3>Lucky horse, I mean there's a saddle on. Maybe not
<v Speaker 3>a lucky horse. I don't know, but they think.
<v Speaker 2>Everybody pictures someone you would not want to see naked
<v Speaker 2>on your best friend?
<v Speaker 1>Is that horse? I think depends on what you got.
<v Speaker 1>Say it out loud. Who do you not want to
<v Speaker 1>see on the horse naked?
<v Speaker 3>Oh my gosh.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, well I'll tell I'll tell you mine off the air.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, right, let's get you updated on all the big
<v Speaker 2>stories floating around.
<v Speaker 1>I got some national stuff for you. The new swimsuit
<v Speaker 1>models are here day. I've been waiting a year for this.
<v Speaker 1>They're beautiful, They're really nice.
<v Speaker 2>The Sports Illustrated revealed their four swimsuit cover models yesterday.
<v Speaker 1>I guess this is still a thing with Sports Illustrated.
<v Speaker 2>We got Hillary Duff, we got Tiffany Hattish, Alex Earl,
<v Speaker 2>and Nicole Williams. English stores hit the cover's hit stores tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>I like it? Do you? Love it. I do. I
<v Speaker 1>like it too.
<v Speaker 3>I like Hillary Duff a lot because she's making such
<v Speaker 3>a comeback, Like this moment with Hillary Duff in it,
<v Speaker 3>I just love everything about it.
<v Speaker 2>She's not an epic PR team because yes, she's making
<v Speaker 2>a big bounce back right now.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, ah, that's funny.
<v Speaker 3>Like, and she has like became a fan of a
<v Speaker 3>lot of different groups of people, like the Hillary Duff crowd,
<v Speaker 3>but alsobu yeah, lizdie Maguire, yes, and then also the
<v Speaker 3>you know, younger crowd that she's on on that show
<v Speaker 3>Younger that you know. So I think that she just
<v Speaker 3>appeals to so many people.
<v Speaker 2>Well, the magazine's editor in chief says, there is four
<v Speaker 2>covers focusing on celebrating individuality. Why can't I say that today?
<v Speaker 2>Celebrating being an individual? There we go from Tiffany's deeply
<v Speaker 2>human story rooted in joy and honesty, to Alex's evolution
<v Speaker 2>of access into influence, to Nicole's commitment to authentic growth,
<v Speaker 2>and Hillary's quiet reinvention marked by confidence, humor, and grace.
<v Speaker 3>Well, and they were really smart with how they picked
<v Speaker 3>the women too, because you have the Alex Earl, who's
<v Speaker 3>the influencer, you have the other. I'm sorry, Natalie was
<v Speaker 3>her name correct, But she's one of the real housewives,
<v Speaker 3>I believe, the famed Nicole William Yeah yeah, yeah. So.
<v Speaker 3>And then you have the comedian in Tiffany Hattish and
<v Speaker 3>the musician and superstar and Hillary Duff.
<v Speaker 1>So they really covered all, you know, we covered it
<v Speaker 1>all like it.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm looking at all these covers and I'm I'm like, man,
<v Speaker 2>there's a lot of humor and grace here.
<v Speaker 3>You're gonna buy every one of them for their humor
<v Speaker 3>and grace.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, back that grace up. That's what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 3>I know, ladies, get it.
<v Speaker 1>Alex. I'm not gonna lie. Great, they look great.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, but even Alex ahead shape to be on
<v Speaker 3>the cover swim suit the s I like she had
<v Speaker 3>to be in Dancing with the Star shape to be, she.
<v Speaker 1>Said, And of course you do. But she's still pretty.
<v Speaker 2>Alex is up there though she is gorgeous. No denying
<v Speaker 2>it now, I will say, I think out of all
<v Speaker 2>those ladies and including my wife, my first love, made
<v Speaker 2>the hype today, weird Al Okay, I'll push Alex to
<v Speaker 2>the side if weird Al is there, So I guess
<v Speaker 2>he's doing a stage musical. He's got a stage musical
<v Speaker 2>in the works. It's called Dare to Be Stupid, The
<v Speaker 2>Weird Al Musical. It's an original story written by himself,
<v Speaker 2>and it's gonna have a ton of his songs that
<v Speaker 2>have spanned across his career. Now, I've been a fan
<v Speaker 2>of his since the eighties. I've got a couple of
<v Speaker 2>VHS tapes of Weird Al that are nothing but his
<v Speaker 2>music videos on Vhso those Oh my god, so good.
<v Speaker 1>Amish Paradise Yeah, gets in my head, Jeopardy Yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>they're all so good.
<v Speaker 2>His little quote about this, he says, the one thing
<v Speaker 2>people always say about Broadway is that it is severely
<v Speaker 2>lacking in weird out based entertainment.
<v Speaker 3>They do.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and I think this musical should fix that problem immediately.
<v Speaker 1>So I'm gonna get my booty in a seat and
<v Speaker 1>go check it out. So need he fixed? It's going
<v Speaker 1>on locally, kykay.
<v Speaker 3>So we talked about that Harry Potter bar that got,
<v Speaker 3>you know, a pop up bar that was coming to town,
<v Speaker 3>and we're super excited about it.
<v Speaker 1>Right, Yeah, I was gonna go it got Shut the
<v Speaker 1>crap down, Shut the crap down.
<v Speaker 3>Warner Brothers came in and was like not today. So
<v Speaker 3>someone with the reservation was told that it was quote
<v Speaker 3>too magical, and Warner Brothers asked the restaurant to take
<v Speaker 3>it down. Now, we were very excited about this because
<v Speaker 3>it was supposed to go through June. You mean, they
<v Speaker 3>were talking it was going to be so busy, Uh,
<v Speaker 3>you would not be able to get in, only walk
<v Speaker 3>by and take pictures. So the fact that they didn't
<v Speaker 3>do their due diligence and check with Warner Brothers before
<v Speaker 3>they put on elaborate thing, did they.
<v Speaker 2>Not have a marketing or pr person that was like, hey, guys,
<v Speaker 2>first step, should we call Warner Brothers and see if
<v Speaker 2>they're cool with this?
<v Speaker 3>You know, the people who own this whole thing. Like,
<v Speaker 3>don't you think we should run it by them?
<v Speaker 1>At least?
<v Speaker 3>Like none of that appearently, No, yes, is that one job?
<v Speaker 3>No trips to Hogwarts on the docket now, Like.
<v Speaker 10>Don't don't worry about it, guys, We're just gonna do
<v Speaker 10>a fast and furious pop up and still don't worry
<v Speaker 10>about it.
<v Speaker 3>You know that's what's gonna happen.
<v Speaker 10>And if that one fails, we're just going right into
<v Speaker 10>Star Wars. We'll find an old Beth and beyond into
<v Speaker 10>a Star Wars experience.
<v Speaker 3>They really went all out for this, Like if you
<v Speaker 3>look at the pictures, there are candles floating on the ceiling,
<v Speaker 3>just like in the book.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they had food theme to it. They went
<v Speaker 1>all out the fishing line and hung all those candles.
<v Speaker 1>It looks so neat, Jeremy, like, you have no idea.
<v Speaker 1>They needed the cloak of invisibility. They no one could
<v Speaker 1>see it they did.
<v Speaker 3>That's exactly what they were missing out. But big bummer
<v Speaker 3>for fans of Harry Potter there. Hey, big bummer for
<v Speaker 3>this lady too. She tried buying a car off TikTok
<v Speaker 3>obviously got scammed. Alicia is a twenty two year old
<v Speaker 3>nursing student from Florida, and she tried to buy a
<v Speaker 3>vehicle through drive Cheap Cars USA.
<v Speaker 1>Oh that's legit. I know. I feel bad for her though.
<v Speaker 3>Like so, she wrote an email to a local news
<v Speaker 3>station here who did some digging of their own because
<v Speaker 3>the address that the company is listed to is in Aurora.
<v Speaker 3>So but it's not like once they went and did
<v Speaker 3>an investigation into this. The Aurora address listed is an
<v Speaker 3>apartment complex.
<v Speaker 2>Is this the same person that was putting on a
<v Speaker 2>Harry Potter experience and didn't.
<v Speaker 1>You know what that tracks? Actually? Would that be your
<v Speaker 1>first thing?
<v Speaker 2>Is like if you're buying a car off TikTok and
<v Speaker 2>there's an address on there, that you'd be like, hey,
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna do a quick.
<v Speaker 1>Google of where this place even is. Well, absolutely, especially
<v Speaker 1>it's local. I can drive by, you can. But she's
<v Speaker 1>not local.
<v Speaker 3>She's in Florida.
<v Speaker 1>This story.
<v Speaker 3>The reason it's local is because the address is listed
<v Speaker 3>in Aurora. So that's why the local news station did
<v Speaker 3>the digging, and the Colorado Attorney General had to come
<v Speaker 3>out with a warning because she is not the only
<v Speaker 3>person who's been caught in this scam.
<v Speaker 1>So wow, Yeah, it's insane. That's sad. And it's also
<v Speaker 1>very concerning though that that like like a that's going
<v Speaker 1>on you.
<v Speaker 3>Know, well yeah, I mean they say that, like the
<v Speaker 3>there's people who use AI and stolen photos to convince
<v Speaker 3>fake dealer website. So this is the thing. That's why
<v Speaker 3>the AG had to come out and say something about
<v Speaker 3>it to get people at least noticing that you can't
<v Speaker 3>buy cars off TikTok or at least if you do
<v Speaker 3>what was little digging.
<v Speaker 1>She's a nursing student, so fairly bright.
<v Speaker 2>I would feel like when you're in a pinch, she
<v Speaker 2>got you see a good deal.
<v Speaker 3>I guess it someone that young and you know you
<v Speaker 3>desperately need a car. Maybe that's her transportation to and
<v Speaker 3>from school. You know, she's like, here's a good deal.
<v Speaker 1>Question, yes, what kind of car it?
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, just be on the lookout for that, because
<v Speaker 3>that's pretty scary that that. And they took her for
<v Speaker 3>thousands of dollars between five and six thousand dollars that
<v Speaker 3>she got scamed.
<v Speaker 2>To find those people that did that and stand them
<v Speaker 2>up in the street and run them over.
<v Speaker 1>That is the only option escalated.
<v Speaker 3>She's got the mic, the moxie, and a brain full
<v Speaker 3>of doctor Phillery runs.
<v Speaker 1>She's on me like a duck on a boom bug.
<v Speaker 8>But can you take down Katie?
<v Speaker 1>In Top culture SmackDown?
<v Speaker 3>Is Katie Crush?
<v Speaker 1>Oh and she's a massive diva too.

<v Speaker 2>of Katie winning.
<v Speaker 3>And also Tiffany's awesome. Let's just focus on that.
