<v Speaker 1>Jerry Katy and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Katie.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like this is right up your alley because
<v Speaker 3>it deals with women's restrooms. Yeah, although I've been known
<v Speaker 3>to lurk, yeah you hey, what are you doing here?
<v Speaker 1>You are a creeper out of here?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Uh.
<v Speaker 3>They say in this story that public restrooms have become
<v Speaker 3>an unexpected center of female social interaction, generating.
<v Speaker 2>Approximately two point four billion connections annually across America. In
<v Speaker 2>the ladies room, yeahs, y'all are in there getting all chatty,
<v Speaker 2>put your lip glass?
<v Speaker 3>Is that unexpected?
<v Speaker 1>When you see somebody in the restroom you at least
<v Speaker 1>say hi? It's just kind of given times that sparks
<v Speaker 1>up a conversation. A lot of time it's because of
<v Speaker 1>what you're wearing. Love that necklace and then you well
<v Speaker 1>where'd you get it? Like that stuff? You know, it
<v Speaker 1>just sparks a conversation.
<v Speaker 3>No, saying, ladies are having an average of four positive
<v Speaker 3>encounters on a monthly basis, and a random women's restroom
<v Speaker 3>in a public facility with another lady about four times
<v Speaker 3>a month, you're meeting up with a rando stranger in there.
<v Speaker 3>You're like only gunning on your shoes.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I think that's a high number. I don't necessarily
<v Speaker 1>like bars and going, you know, the drunk conversations. If
<v Speaker 1>people were out and about in the bar setting, I
<v Speaker 1>can see this a lot more like when you're out partying,
<v Speaker 1>you're best friends. They're all best for you need best
<v Speaker 1>friends every night, so that most I would agree.
<v Speaker 3>The most frequent exchanges include giving compliments, receiving compliments, caring
<v Speaker 3>feminine products huh, and just generally providing emotional support. So
<v Speaker 3>maybe you're in there bawling your eyes out or you
<v Speaker 3>had a bad dal that's it.
<v Speaker 1>And then someone comes in and they're like, girl, he's
<v Speaker 1>not worth it, and you're like that, you don't need
<v Speaker 1>no man. Yes, that is exactly it. There's a lot
<v Speaker 1>of camaraderie within the ladies restroom, especially when we're talking
<v Speaker 1>smack about you guys. Yeah, let's go get.
<v Speaker 3>Exactly.
<v Speaker 1>I tell you what, though, there is and I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if it's like this with guys, but when you're
<v Speaker 1>in like say you're talking to the lady at the
<v Speaker 1>sink and then all of a sudden you have to
<v Speaker 1>go into the restroom and do your little tinkle. When
<v Speaker 1>you're doing that, you don't talk right, like that's where
<v Speaker 1>the conversation ends.
<v Speaker 3>I talked constantly. I was just in the bathroom with
<v Speaker 3>our engineer and we had a full conversation about what
<v Speaker 3>he's got to do today, mid street, midstream. Everything was great,
<v Speaker 3>zip up, zip down, whatever. Yeah, And then I was
<v Speaker 3>still going because I had a lot of coffee, and
<v Speaker 3>he walked over to the sink was washing his hands,
<v Speaker 3>and we were still talking. See.
<v Speaker 1>I just don't even think I have the concentration like
<v Speaker 1>it's like it's not the water. I know.
<v Speaker 3>I don't even use my hands when I'm in there.
<v Speaker 3>I just stand there. I have my hands in my
<v Speaker 3>pockets actually at the against the fine, completely fine, but
<v Speaker 3>that surprises me with you guys, you're talking so much
<v Speaker 3>as you're putting on your makeup and talking about all
<v Speaker 3>the crap in your life and yeah, those great Lululemon
<v Speaker 3>yoga pants as soon as you hit the stall.
<v Speaker 1>It's like me, don I don't know if other ladies
<v Speaker 1>feel this way. I don't want to speak for all
<v Speaker 1>of us, but for me, yes, I'd like to at
<v Speaker 1>least pause the conversation while I tinkle, because it's it's hard.
<v Speaker 3>Let me ask you something I've seen a couple times
<v Speaker 3>in the men's room, which is unsettling. I'll walk there
<v Speaker 3>in there in the morning and there'll be a dude
<v Speaker 3>like kind of getting ready, like doing his hair, and yeah,
<v Speaker 3>we're kind of primping for the day. Do you experience
<v Speaker 3>that in the ladies' room?
<v Speaker 1>That's where you do it? Like it, and that's the thing.
<v Speaker 1>Like for me, I come in so early. You would
<v Speaker 1>think that I would be putting on my makeup a
<v Speaker 1>lot in there, but I am fortunate I get to
<v Speaker 1>do it at home, but I bring my makeup with
<v Speaker 1>me just in case I need to do a time.
<v Speaker 1>It's a touch later, but I come in to this
<v Speaker 1>restroom specifically, we've got ladies who put on their full
<v Speaker 1>face when they get to work. Every building I've worked at,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think every building I've worked in somebody does that.
<v Speaker 1>And I just think, like, again, it's maybe their busy
<v Speaker 1>mom and their kids keep them so busy at home
<v Speaker 1>that they don't have time to put their makeup on,
<v Speaker 1>so when they get to work, it's their first free
<v Speaker 1>moment of the morning. So I completely understand. So yeah,
<v Speaker 1>like I don't currently put my makeup on in the bathroom.
<v Speaker 1>But I've been there. I've definitely been in that situation.
<v Speaker 3>And you're on you're on company time, so you're getting paid.
<v Speaker 3>But it's like that a rhyme that people go. They
<v Speaker 3>don't poop at home, they wait until they get to work. Right,
<v Speaker 3>when is that rhyme? Boss makes I make a nickel,
<v Speaker 3>Boss makes a dime. That's why I poop on company time.
<v Speaker 3>So that's why they do it, Katie,
