<v Speaker 1>Jaredy, Katy and Josh makes one hundred you guys night,
<v Speaker 1>it is good. Yeah, would you Katie? Good night.
<v Speaker 2>I sat on my couch and watched.
<v Speaker 1>The Circle, the horror movie.
<v Speaker 2>No, no, no, it's a reality show.
<v Speaker 1>Ring.
<v Speaker 2>The Ring is a circle that's different, that's a different,
<v Speaker 2>different time, different.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of the perfect circle exactly.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, a lot of circles now that I recall. But no,
<v Speaker 2>The Circle is a great reality TV show, and there's
<v Speaker 2>eight seasons and I just keep knocking them out. I
<v Speaker 2>just can't stop watching it. I did go on a
<v Speaker 2>four mile walk and went outside touchcass. But the highlight
<v Speaker 2>of my night was definitely a good show. Such a
<v Speaker 2>good show.
<v Speaker 1>I'll take your word for it.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, good.
<v Speaker 3>I did some adult things. I called Nordstrom to get
<v Speaker 3>my T shirts hemmed, Oh.
<v Speaker 1>I want to talk about that later. Let's talk about
<v Speaker 1>that later. This is one of the most ridiculous things
<v Speaker 1>that I've ever heard. I love doing it really all
<v Speaker 1>the time, all the time. I can't even I heard
<v Speaker 1>this story this morning. I shook my head.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, we got to talk about that. I'm
<v Speaker 4>in total dad mode today. I am this is so stupid.
<v Speaker 4>I'm so excited because every year our HOA brings dumpsters
<v Speaker 4>into the neighborhood.
<v Speaker 1>It's just kind of one of the perks that they do.
<v Speaker 4>And we've got like, I don't know, five six six
<v Speaker 4>seven six seven dumpsters throughout the neighborhood and it gives
<v Speaker 4>everybody an opportunity to just come out and dump all
<v Speaker 4>their crap in the dumpsters.
<v Speaker 2>That's amazing.
<v Speaker 4>Tree limbs, to junk in your basement, to cleaning out
<v Speaker 4>your garage.
<v Speaker 1>It is.
<v Speaker 4>It is one of the best perks and HOA can
<v Speaker 4>do I think for the community is something like.
<v Speaker 2>That because that would otherwise cost you money to bring
<v Speaker 2>a truckload of stuff to the dump. They weigh it,
<v Speaker 2>they charge you based on that, absolutely, saving you a
<v Speaker 2>lot of money.
<v Speaker 4>Absolutely, and it totally encourages homeowners to get out there
<v Speaker 4>and clean up all the crap in their yard because
<v Speaker 4>now they've got a place to put it.
<v Speaker 1>And it's falling a like such a good.
<v Speaker 4>Time because after that lasts everybody has broken branches. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>you're right, dump them in the dumpsters.
<v Speaker 2>So and we know in Colorado fire season, like you
<v Speaker 2>gotta get all that away, you.
<v Speaker 1>Know, So, isn't it. I used to be cool.
<v Speaker 2>Dumpster weakens, Dumpster weakens. It is a good perk though.
<v Speaker 1>I'm well, thank thank.
<v Speaker 4>You, it's nice of you. Katie's been talking about Boy
<v Speaker 4>Meets World.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I know, take me back right.
<v Speaker 2>I loved that show, and yeah, they have that podcast
<v Speaker 2>that's been super popular and they just came out recently,
<v Speaker 2>Pod Meets World. Yes, and Daniel Fishel who played Topanga.
<v Speaker 2>You had Will Friedel who played the older brother and
<v Speaker 2>then right right or strong all part of the show,
<v Speaker 2>and they were actually just talking about how it is
<v Speaker 2>a concern for them. They actually have a lot of
<v Speaker 2>self esteem issues when it comes to meeting people now
<v Speaker 2>because people are not shy about coming up to them
<v Speaker 2>and saying things like, oh my gosh, you look old. Now,
<v Speaker 2>what is is and how awful? First of all, people
<v Speaker 2>think that that's okay, but second they are like saying
<v Speaker 2>that this is causing them serious self esteem issues. Like
<v Speaker 2>Will specifically, it's like affected him to where he's had
<v Speaker 2>to seek professional help and whatnot. And it just reminded
<v Speaker 2>me because I know Topanga, the character on the show
<v Speaker 2>back in the day, she was told that she was
<v Speaker 2>too heavy for that role and there's a distinct difference
<v Speaker 2>in her weight between specific seasons, and it's because she
<v Speaker 2>felt pressure from producers and viewers and you know, the
<v Speaker 2>entire world about you know, her body. And she says
<v Speaker 2>that in the prom episode specifically, so I went and
<v Speaker 2>looked back on this just to get a good reference.
<v Speaker 2>But she said that they wouldn't let her wear a
<v Speaker 2>dress that didn't have sleeves on it. And I was like,
<v Speaker 2>how oftome she was, like a teenager. I can't imagine
<v Speaker 2>a whole group of probably.
<v Speaker 1>Old adults, you know, telling me how I should look. Right,
<v Speaker 1>it is kind of what you sign up for. I
<v Speaker 1>hate to say it.
<v Speaker 4>It's wrong, No, it is wrong, but I mean we
<v Speaker 4>deal with it.
<v Speaker 2>It's specifically like having them come out and talk about
<v Speaker 2>it now though, I think is where it hit me
<v Speaker 2>in the fields, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, it's therapeutic now for them.
<v Speaker 2>It is well and just like to have them be
<v Speaker 2>so honest about it. But yeah, definitely worth looking into
<v Speaker 2>their podcast.
<v Speaker 1>I hear so many good things about that podcast.
<v Speaker 2>So good, so good. And then they did the live
<v Speaker 2>version around the country. I think they came Colorado, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and so like, yeah, it's a huge success for that,
<v Speaker 2>so good for them.
<v Speaker 3>Good.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and they all look so slim and beautiful.
<v Speaker 2>Ste it looks great. They really do the tapanga, especially
<v Speaker 2>Daniel Fishel, she looks fabulous. Shout out to you girls.
<v Speaker 1>Still got a mini crush on that one.
<v Speaker 2>You should as you should.
<v Speaker 4>Well, let's go ahead and dive into our sports report.
<v Speaker 4>This is Josh's time to shine. What's going on in
<v Speaker 4>the world, is sports buddy?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, Well, the Avalanche have been obviously in the news
<v Speaker 3>this entire season. They have been at the top of
<v Speaker 3>the NHL and now they've been in the playoffs and
<v Speaker 3>absolutely crushing it. Well, one specific reason that they have
<v Speaker 3>been in the news lately is because of the goalhorn.
<v Speaker 3>We actually talked about it yesterday and how it went
<v Speaker 3>crazy when the Avs won in overtime. But this has
<v Speaker 3>been making the rounds all over social media. Now podcasters
<v Speaker 3>ESPN is talking about why this gol horn is just
<v Speaker 3>going nuts.
<v Speaker 1>So nine News tracked down the person behind it.
<v Speaker 5>My name is Brandon Mestis. Yep, I am the guy
<v Speaker 5>that hits the fun big red button for all Avalanche
<v Speaker 5>goals and Avalanche wins. Gold horn is once again all
<v Speaker 5>kind of vibes. Seeing the moment of the game, what
<v Speaker 5>goal it is, what team we're playing playoffs, regular seasons,
<v Speaker 5>so a lot of factors that go into a goal horn.
<v Speaker 5>Never once that I think about the analytics of my
<v Speaker 5>goal horn.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that audio yesterday and if you were at the game,
<v Speaker 1>it was eight times. I love this, he goes.
<v Speaker 3>I just go off vibes, which is so much better
<v Speaker 3>than being like, well, I have to hit it four
<v Speaker 3>times each goal, you know.
<v Speaker 1>I love how he goes.
<v Speaker 3>I feel the moment out, see what it kind of requires,
<v Speaker 3>and then I lay on that thing.
<v Speaker 1>It makes me so happy.
<v Speaker 3>The Abs when they played the Wild in Game one
<v Speaker 3>and they scored nine goals, we did the math.
<v Speaker 2>He hit the gold horn forty times. Brandon I know well.
<v Speaker 4>And the power he has with that horn, yes, I'd
<v Speaker 4>be hitting it all the time, dude.
<v Speaker 2>So passionate. I actually know Brandon, having worked with him
<v Speaker 2>for Mammoth games, so he is like the producer of
<v Speaker 2>that in game experience. So he gets to say, you know,
<v Speaker 2>and we've got the fire over here. No, no, So
<v Speaker 2>he is such a chill guy, and so to hear
<v Speaker 2>him have so much passion behind a goal horn like
<v Speaker 2>that just makes me so happy.
<v Speaker 4>That's a chill guy move is to definitely hit that
<v Speaker 4>horn a lot of times. I would say the biggest
<v Speaker 4>celebrity thing floating around yesterday, and I had multiple listeners
<v Speaker 4>actually sending me clips from Eric Church, who delivered the
<v Speaker 4>commencement address at the University of Northern Carolina last weekend,
<v Speaker 4>and for some reason, it is exploding right now. He
<v Speaker 4>compared string on his guitar to a pillar in life,
<v Speaker 4>and if you sit down and watch the whole speech,
<v Speaker 4>like you kind of tear up a little bit the
<v Speaker 4>wisdom and advice coming out of Eric Church.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I love this is phenomenon's great. Yeah, like one
<v Speaker 1>of the greatest concerts I've ever been to.
<v Speaker 2>I love hearing that. Like. He has been one of
<v Speaker 2>my favorite country artists of all time for a long time.
<v Speaker 4>So I'm gonna play you sixty seconds. I'm gonna play
<v Speaker 4>sixty seconds. I'm supposed to do like twenty or thirty.
<v Speaker 4>I'm gonna play a sixty seconds.
<v Speaker 2>You win.
<v Speaker 1>I'm a revel today. Yeah, here's a little.
<v Speaker 6>Six strings of life and willingness to keep them in tune.
<v Speaker 6>Six principles, six pillars. When all six are in tune
<v Speaker 6>with each other, the Cordier life makes is full and
<v Speaker 6>resonant and truth. All six will drift in their own time,
<v Speaker 6>in their own season. Your faith will go quiet when
<v Speaker 6>you need it loud. Your family will get complicated in
<v Speaker 6>a way only the people who love you most can
<v Speaker 6>complicate things. And your world will try to sand down
<v Speaker 6>the edges of exactly who you are.
<v Speaker 1>This is not failure.
<v Speaker 6>It's the inevitable universal experience of living in an imperfect
<v Speaker 6>world that doesn't stop to let us tune up, and
<v Speaker 6>the difference between a life that sounds like music and
<v Speaker 6>a life that sounds like noise. It's whether you stop
<v Speaker 6>and listen, whether you're honest enough to hear which string
<v Speaker 6>has drifted out of tune, and humble enough to make
<v Speaker 6>the adjustment instead of just turning up the volume and
<v Speaker 6>hoping nobody notices. Trust what your heart hears and is
<v Speaker 6>telling you about your song. So graduates, now, I encourage
<v Speaker 6>you to take your six strings, make it something worth hearing.
<v Speaker 6>Play your song as I leave you with mine.
<v Speaker 1>And one more thing.
<v Speaker 2>Everybody put a drink in your head. I love him.
<v Speaker 4>I encourage everybody. I will probably post it. I'll throw
<v Speaker 4>it up on our Facebook a little bit watch the
<v Speaker 4>whole thing. It was a very well done speech.
<v Speaker 3>I watched it yesterday and almost got lost in the
<v Speaker 3>story of it, and then I kind of came back
<v Speaker 3>to reality. I was like, that's Eric Church say.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, the party anthems and country drinking anthems. Like when
<v Speaker 4>he talks, he's like, wow, he's almost like a pastor.
<v Speaker 2>Well that's the thing though, is like that immediately reminded
<v Speaker 2>me of a song on his Outsiders album called dark Side,
<v Speaker 2>where he talks like that a lot, and so it
<v Speaker 2>brought me right back to a lot. He talks about
<v Speaker 2>how music is his mistress. Oh, it's such a good song.
<v Speaker 2>I know.
<v Speaker 1>That album is so good. That album. I can't even
<v Speaker 1>tell you how great his concert was.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, and then he came back to Red Rocks not
<v Speaker 4>too long ago. He did a couple of nights. It
<v Speaker 4>might have been last summer, and we missed it because
<v Speaker 4>we were out of town.
<v Speaker 2>That's off to you, Chief. I love him.
<v Speaker 4>Other than that, the only other story I have is
<v Speaker 4>Britney Spears was barking like a dog in a restaurant
<v Speaker 4>or something and holding a knife.
<v Speaker 2>No, she wasn't trying to hurt people with a knife.
<v Speaker 2>She was just cutting her burger.
<v Speaker 1>She was walking through the restaurant holding a knife.
<v Speaker 2>Cutting her burger.
<v Speaker 1>Where's that burger? I'm gonna cut it, they said.
<v Speaker 4>After she finished her her and left, they said onlookers
<v Speaker 4>said her table looked like quote a toddler had been there.
<v Speaker 2>Poor Brittany. I just feel like everybody's piling on her,
<v Speaker 2>I know. And she was barking, Oh, Brittany, we love you.
<v Speaker 1>What kind of pilot?
<v Speaker 2>Oh? I just feel bad? Okay, So what up Lenny Pierce? No, Well,
<v Speaker 2>he's a dad, a DJ, and a music producer, and
<v Speaker 2>he is bringing his beeps and boots to Red Rocks
<v Speaker 2>toddler tech. No, let's go.
<v Speaker 1>What does that mean? Is this a toddler doing this?
<v Speaker 2>And you know, I clap your hands.
<v Speaker 4>If you're happy and you know it, then your face
<v Speaker 4>will surely show it.
<v Speaker 1>If you're happy and you know, I clap your hands.
<v Speaker 2>Everybody saying it's baby Rave is what they're saying, a
<v Speaker 2>baby Rave. It is scheduled for June fourteenth. So he again,
<v Speaker 2>is a dad. His little kid loves listening to these music.
<v Speaker 2>But he's this music. But he's also a DJ.
<v Speaker 1>Kissed me off somewhere.
<v Speaker 2>I want to put a little beat under it. And
<v Speaker 2>he's had these little baby raves all over the country
<v Speaker 2>and now June fourteenth, we've got one going on that
<v Speaker 2>Red Brox God.
<v Speaker 4>Because it's so wonderful and so fantastic and such an
<v Speaker 4>easy thing to do.
<v Speaker 1>And why didn't I come up with this using me?
<v Speaker 2>I know, I'm happy and.
<v Speaker 1>I know it.
<v Speaker 2>You know it starts at ten fifteen, so that's perfect,
<v Speaker 2>right before nap time, right, get them all wilding out
<v Speaker 2>a concert open to all ages, so it doesn't matter
<v Speaker 2>how old that little one is. Bring them down. They
<v Speaker 2>will definitely have some fun. And if they're under a year,
<v Speaker 2>they don't even need a ticket. But for the rest
<v Speaker 2>of the family, tickets are on sale now if you
<v Speaker 2>want to check that out. But I think that is
<v Speaker 2>a genius idea, and I love everything.
<v Speaker 1>I don't have a toddler, and I want to check
<v Speaker 1>it out.
<v Speaker 2>I know, right, You're like, I may rent a toddler
<v Speaker 2>just so I could go, oh weird, Okay, are those
<v Speaker 2>services available?
<v Speaker 1>It's strange, say.
<v Speaker 2>My fine one use it for the afternoon. In the
<v Speaker 2>morning and you know, okay, remember we talked about that
<v Speaker 2>Harry Potter, Papa bar that got canceled.
<v Speaker 1>We're still talking about well because maybe.
<v Speaker 2>The reason is because Warner Brothers already has a plan
<v Speaker 2>to roll out of fun Time Hogwarts style. So make
<v Speaker 2>way for Harry Potter the exhibition. It's gonna start on
<v Speaker 2>June twenty sixth, right on Denver South Broadway district right there,
<v Speaker 2>and tickets are on sale now. And this looks a
<v Speaker 2>lot like what that pop up bar look like. Like
<v Speaker 2>they've got the candles floating right. It is a little
<v Speaker 2>more interactive because you even get to try your hand
<v Speaker 2>at quiddage.
<v Speaker 1>That cool.
<v Speaker 2>Like I was looking at the actual things that you
<v Speaker 2>can do, and it got me so excited because I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if you guys actually read the books or
<v Speaker 2>know anything about them. But you can brew potions. You
<v Speaker 2>can also cast a patronis charm. So if you remember, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>so that is like the you have to think happy thoughts.
<v Speaker 2>It's one of the hardest charm spells to cast, but
<v Speaker 2>you can do like Harry Potter does a stag and
<v Speaker 2>remember it helps him from the dementors, because the dementors
<v Speaker 2>are gonna kill no patronas. It's a charm. It's a
<v Speaker 2>charm that they it's again one of the hardest charms.
<v Speaker 2>So there's a lot of original costumes, authentic props, and
<v Speaker 2>just so many fun things. You get to go through
<v Speaker 2>the Great Hall Gallery, you get to go to a
<v Speaker 2>Gringots inspired vault. That's the bank that Harry Potter keeps
<v Speaker 2>all his money in, Jeremy and all. I believe you,
<v Speaker 2>it's amazing. So in the cupboard under the stairs you
<v Speaker 2>get to go there. That's where Harry lives with his
<v Speaker 2>uncle Jeremy Alert it's amazing. That's so much fun now
<v Speaker 2>people know about Harry Potter. So again, tickets on sale
<v Speaker 2>and anything from ages three to twelve. You can get
<v Speaker 2>those tickets for twenty bucks. So nice little money saver there.
<v Speaker 2>And then a lot of fun things going on in
<v Speaker 2>town this weekend and around town. Colfax Marathon is this Sunday,
<v Speaker 2>so all you.
<v Speaker 4>Runners expect closures down there too, were measures.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that happens every year. North Glenn's ninth annual Food
<v Speaker 2>Truck Carnival also going on North Glen and that is
<v Speaker 2>all weekend long, and then all the board the Colorado
<v Speaker 2>Railroad Museum in Golden they're gonna start up. They're very
<v Speaker 2>busy summer season so Colorado Crossings is the first big thing,
<v Speaker 2>and they're gonna have more than one hundred locomotives and
<v Speaker 2>cars on display.
<v Speaker 4>This is where you can find the toddlers. Toddlers and
<v Speaker 4>old dudes, really old dudes.
<v Speaker 2>Well that's the thing. I know so many kids who
<v Speaker 2>love trains and the fact that Golden is right there
<v Speaker 2>and there's so much history, it's amazing. So you have
<v Speaker 2>a little one who can recite all old man ortle
<v Speaker 2>man who can recite all the different engines and cabooses.
<v Speaker 2>Golden is where you want to be this weekend. Lots
<v Speaker 2>of things, a.
<v Speaker 1>Lot of caboose jokes, cold.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, a lot of probably from the old men.
<v Speaker 1>That's a damn find caboose right there. O baby back
<v Speaker 1>out back up. Here's the hype. JKJ mixed one hundred
