<v Speaker 1>You know, one of these weeks, you're gonna tune into
<v Speaker 1>this stream and you're gonna be sitting in the lobby
<v Speaker 1>and it's gonna say, waiting for solom Monster sounds off
<v Speaker 1>and there's gonna be no Solom Monster, and you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>be sitting here for an hour agoing what happened to him.
<v Speaker 1>I hope he's okay. I hope he didn't suffer some
<v Speaker 1>sort of medical emergency. And what will happen is I'll
<v Speaker 1>come on here probably ninety minutes late and have to
<v Speaker 1>apologize for dozing off during the show. It's gonna happen
<v Speaker 1>one of these weeks. But tonight is not that night.
<v Speaker 1>You know why, because I'm actually pretty amped up right now.
<v Speaker 1>I'm all amped up. And it has absolutely nothing to
<v Speaker 1>do with SmackDown. It has nothing to do with the
<v Speaker 1>show that you saw tonight on USA Network or Netflix,
<v Speaker 1>I guess, depending on where you are. It actually has
<v Speaker 1>everything to do with the movie I saw before SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>which coincidentally was much better than SmackDown was tonight. I
<v Speaker 1>went to go see Obsession. Now, I didn't even know
<v Speaker 1>about this movie up until about a week ago. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't even know it existed, and I saw a lot
<v Speaker 1>of people talking about it online, a lot of a
<v Speaker 1>lot of real, you know, excitement around this movie. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't even watch a full trailer. I had a very
<v Speaker 1>very vague understanding of what it was. I knew it
<v Speaker 1>was a horror movie. I said, that's good enough for me.
<v Speaker 1>Let's go see Obsession. And you know what, I'm glad
<v Speaker 1>I did no spoilers here, but I will say it
<v Speaker 1>is the best movie I have seen in the theater
<v Speaker 1>so far this year. It is. It is the best
<v Speaker 1>movie I've seen all year. Very much enjoyed it. I
<v Speaker 1>will say it's a fucked up movie. It is, it is,
<v Speaker 1>it will it will fuck with your head. I can't
<v Speaker 1>say it was necessarily what I was expecting, but again,
<v Speaker 1>I went into it pretty pretty cold because I just
<v Speaker 1>feel like these days they give away too much in
<v Speaker 1>the trailers anyway, so I try to avoid all that
<v Speaker 1>as much as possible. But if you are thinking about it,
<v Speaker 1>or if you are a fan of that genre, I
<v Speaker 1>would highly, highly encourage you to go see it. It
<v Speaker 1>just came out well technically yesterday, but it just came
<v Speaker 1>out tonight. I hope it does well. It's funny you know,
<v Speaker 1>we have this movie called Passenger that's coming out next week,
<v Speaker 1>another horror movie, and then two weeks from tonight, the Backrooms,
<v Speaker 1>which I'm very excited about because I followed all of
<v Speaker 1>the Caine Pixels videos on YouTube years ago, and now
<v Speaker 1>Cain is directing a full fledged Backrooms movie with the
<v Speaker 1>backing of a twenty four major movie studio, and that's
<v Speaker 1>coming out in two weeks. So this is a hell
<v Speaker 1>of a month, I will say for the horror genre.
<v Speaker 1>Speaking of horror SmackDown, I guess we have to talk
<v Speaker 1>about this show. Not good, not good, very boring, but
<v Speaker 1>not without its moments. So for example, we had a
<v Speaker 1>main event tonight that Pitt Gunther against Royce Keys, and
<v Speaker 1>I thought the two of them went out there and
<v Speaker 1>had a solid ass main event. It's like Stone Cold
<v Speaker 1>has two solid ass cats on the Broken Skull ranch.
<v Speaker 1>We got a solid ass main event tonight, first time
<v Speaker 1>that Royce Keys has been in the SmackDown main event
<v Speaker 1>since he debuted on the main roster. And when the
<v Speaker 1>match was over, we found out that Gunther is going
<v Speaker 1>to Italy because this was to find out who would
<v Speaker 1>be challenging Cody Roads for the WWE Championship at the
<v Speaker 1>end of the month at Clash in Italy. Because Gunther
<v Speaker 1>has been playing games over the last couple of weeks.
<v Speaker 1>He had a contract assigned with his name on it.
<v Speaker 1>He kept playing games. As Nick all this said, he
<v Speaker 1>overplayed his hand and so now he was forced to
<v Speaker 1>fight somebody else for the right to become number one
<v Speaker 1>contender for the title. So he had to go through
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys and he did. And so now we know
<v Speaker 1>one of the main events for Clash in Italy that
<v Speaker 1>is now official. To ask you all the question, and
<v Speaker 1>I admit that in the grand scheme of things, considering
<v Speaker 1>all the problems that this show has, this is a
<v Speaker 1>minor issue, but it still bugs me. And I heard
<v Speaker 1>Joe Tessitour say this when the show was over. Cody
<v Speaker 1>Rhodes was the last one standing. He came out, he
<v Speaker 1>gave gun through a crossroads and so Cody was the
<v Speaker 1>parting shot on SmackDown tonight. And I have to listen
<v Speaker 1>to Joe testatur as the announcers every week say the
<v Speaker 1>undisputed w w WEE Champion. Cody Rhoads is the undisputed champion.
<v Speaker 1>Now let me ask you a question. At a time
<v Speaker 1>when we have two world championships on the men's side,
<v Speaker 1>and at a time where Roman Reigns is the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Champion and arguably is the number one champion in
<v Speaker 1>the company now. It certainly has felt that way since WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>and it will likely be that way going into Clash
<v Speaker 1>in Italy, where he is going to be wrestling Jacob Fatu.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure. So how is it that we are still
<v Speaker 1>calling Cody Roa it's the undisputed WWE Champion? What exactly
<v Speaker 1>makes him an undisputed champion? See? I don't think that
<v Speaker 1>they care enough to realize that they have continued to
<v Speaker 1>call this man undisputed long after it made sense to
<v Speaker 1>do so, long after he beat Roman Reigns, right, who
<v Speaker 1>had those two titles? And so sure, the man who
<v Speaker 1>beat Roman Reigns of WrestleMania is the undisputed champion. But
<v Speaker 1>we have a World Heavyweight Champion on Monday who happens
<v Speaker 1>to be the biggest star in the company outside of Cody,
<v Speaker 1>and we have the WWE champion on Friday, And why
<v Speaker 1>are we still calling him the undisputed champion. It's it's
<v Speaker 1>so stupid. Just stop. There's nothing undisputed about it. It's
<v Speaker 1>very much disputed. Now we actually have somebody on Raw
<v Speaker 1>who arguably is the top champion in the company. Just
<v Speaker 1>bugs me. I don't know why we're still calling him undisputed.
<v Speaker 1>Carmelo Hayes's bag. This was another bright spot on the show.
<v Speaker 1>We haven't seen him since before WrestleMania. He was back
<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight wrestling Ricky Saints, and they also
<v Speaker 1>had what I thought was a solid match, so that
<v Speaker 1>was good, and we had Trick Williams. He had a
<v Speaker 1>nice homecoming for himself here in the opening segment of
<v Speaker 1>the show. The rest of these three hours or some
<v Speaker 1>of the most boring television that I have had to
<v Speaker 1>sit through this entire year. And this show continues to
<v Speaker 1>limp along. It's gonna limp right into the summer the
<v Speaker 1>way that it has, with no end in sight. The
<v Speaker 1>best we can hope for is an hour less of
<v Speaker 1>this at some point next month, because we still don't
<v Speaker 1>know the exact week that smacked Down is reverting back
<v Speaker 1>to two hours last year, it happened on the fourth
<v Speaker 1>of July. I've read reports that suggest it might happen
<v Speaker 1>sooner than that. We probably have another month at least
<v Speaker 1>of this. It can't come soon enough, and that's not
<v Speaker 1>going to make the show better, But at least it's
<v Speaker 1>an hour less that we are subjected to every single
<v Speaker 1>week because the shows don't get any better. You find
<v Speaker 1>those bright spots, right Royce Keys in the main event,
<v Speaker 1>good for him. Hopefully we get to see a more
<v Speaker 1>sustained push for him. Ricky Saints, you know, still not
<v Speaker 1>getting much of a reaction when he comes out, but
<v Speaker 1>he's still new to the roster. He's out there wrestling
<v Speaker 1>Carmelo Hayes. Those are the types of matches I'd like
<v Speaker 1>to see more of here on these shows. But again,
<v Speaker 1>outside of that stuff, what else is going on right
<v Speaker 1>now on this show that you can honestly tell me
<v Speaker 1>is exciting to you, is compelling to you, is keeping
<v Speaker 1>you tuned in every week where it's like, man, I
<v Speaker 1>can't wait to see this guy, or I can't wait
<v Speaker 1>to see this story play out, or I can't wait
<v Speaker 1>to see this group, I can't wait to see the
<v Speaker 1>MFTs next week, I can't wait to see Jade and
<v Speaker 1>the Batties next week. Like what is it about this show? Honestly, truthfully,
<v Speaker 1>outside of like those one or two things that I
<v Speaker 1>mentioned that truly keeps you coming back for more. There's nothing,
<v Speaker 1>There's nothing, There's absolutely nothing. I'm convinced that the Rock
<v Speaker 1>couldn't get Cody Sol so he stole Smackdowns because this
<v Speaker 1>show has no soul. It's just limping along. That is
<v Speaker 1>the state of SmackDown. And so it continues. This is
<v Speaker 1>your Friday Night SmackDown review. It is May fifteenth. We're
<v Speaker 1>already midway through twenty twenty six. I am the solemn Monster. Hey, James,
<v Speaker 1>you better be referring to me. He says Solo is
<v Speaker 1>awesome because if I hear, if I find out you're
<v Speaker 1>talking about Solo, so I'm gonna kick you out. There
<v Speaker 1>ain't nothing about Solo so at the moment or anything
<v Speaker 1>he's doing on the show that is awesome. Solo is
<v Speaker 1>a very funny guy. There is potentially awesome stuff that
<v Speaker 1>could be done with him, but I'm not seeing any
<v Speaker 1>of it on the television show. So I hope you're
<v Speaker 1>referring to me. Oh Man talking about SmackDown is it's
<v Speaker 1>almost as bad as watching the SmackDown. But I try
<v Speaker 1>to make it entertaining for you guys, So we'll try
<v Speaker 1>to do the same tonight. Do me a favor. Hit
<v Speaker 1>the subscribe button, hit the like button. We are going
<v Speaker 1>to spin the wheel here in a moment to find
<v Speaker 1>out how many likes we need to do our Be
<v Speaker 1>the Booker segment and super chats are open as well.
<v Speaker 1>Already had a bunch of them that have come in,
<v Speaker 1>and so as more filter on in, they'll see them
<v Speaker 1>popping up on your screen and I will be reading
<v Speaker 1>them a little bit later on here in the stream.
<v Speaker 1>But we got a wheel to spin. I think me
<v Speaker 1>spinning this wheel might be more exciting than most of
<v Speaker 1>what happened on SmackDown tonight, probably a good seventy five
<v Speaker 1>percent of the show. I would wager we'll spend some more.
<v Speaker 1>I'll try to make it worth your while. This might
<v Speaker 1>be the most exciting moment of the night for you.
<v Speaker 1>Four hundred, so that is the goal. We are currently
<v Speaker 1>sitting at two fifty, so we're well past the halfway point,
<v Speaker 1>all right, So get to it. Hit that like button.
<v Speaker 1>If we passed four hundred, we will do be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker a little bit later on. Let's get into this
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown show because it kicked off and actually was not
<v Speaker 1>a bad opening because it kicked off with the homecoming
<v Speaker 1>for the United States Champion Trick Williams. Trick Williams beat
<v Speaker 1>Sammy Zain at Backlash last weekend. He's still the United
<v Speaker 1>States Champion and so he has roots here in South Carolina.
<v Speaker 1>He came out along with Lil YACHTI got a big
<v Speaker 1>reaction and the University of South Carolina game Cock's mascot.
<v Speaker 1>I guess that's a game cock. I guess is that
<v Speaker 1>what the mascot was. The mascot was a cock. So
<v Speaker 1>the cock came out with Lil YACHTI and Trick Williams,
<v Speaker 1>and Williams said he was proud to represent w. J.
<v Speaker 1>Keenan High School and the University of South Carolina growing up.
<v Speaker 1>He put over his favorite chicken and waffles restaurant. Do
<v Speaker 1>you realize I did not have chicken and waffles, I
<v Speaker 1>want to say until two thousand and sixteen. It was
<v Speaker 1>actually at a sound off meetup that we did at
<v Speaker 1>the KBH Beer Hall not too far from the Barclay Center,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't it might have been before summer Slim.
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember what event it was tied into, but
<v Speaker 1>we did a big meetup and they were actually serving
<v Speaker 1>chicken and waffles at KBH, and I'm like, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>try this. Oh, I didn't realize what I had been
<v Speaker 1>missing out. And now the problem is, of course, if
<v Speaker 1>I did chicken and waffles all the time, I'd be
<v Speaker 1>five hundred pounds. I'd have to expand the window here.
<v Speaker 1>I would be so big I wouldn't be able to
<v Speaker 1>fit in this little window on screen. But uh man,
<v Speaker 1>it was. It was very good. So anyway, he uh yeah, hey,
<v Speaker 1>it took me. It took me a while. What can
<v Speaker 1>I say, twenty sixteen first time, I mean, I had
<v Speaker 1>had chicken and I had had waffles. I just I
<v Speaker 1>never thought to combine the two. The thought never occurred
<v Speaker 1>to me. So he put over his favorite place. He
<v Speaker 1>pointed at his parents in the front row. Miss and
<v Speaker 1>Kit Wilson interrupted the celebration, and he was mocking the mascot.
<v Speaker 1>He was mocking all the gingerbread stuff from the week before.
<v Speaker 1>He said, this is wwe not sesame street. Kit Wilson
<v Speaker 1>joined in with some slam poetry. He read a poem
<v Speaker 1>about how trick wouldn't last a day on the streets
<v Speaker 1>where he came from Lil Yacht. He said, you know,
<v Speaker 1>can I try? So he fired back with some poetry
<v Speaker 1>of his own. He mentioned missus tiny balls in there somewhere.
<v Speaker 1>I can't believe this is still a thing, but apparently
<v Speaker 1>the tiny balls things has lived on. So Ms got upset.
<v Speaker 1>He called for a referee and he said he was
<v Speaker 1>gonna whoop that Trick in front of his mama. So
<v Speaker 1>Trick cleared the ring of all the heels and look,
<v Speaker 1>this was cool because he came out there, he got
<v Speaker 1>a hero's welcome right coming back home, and especially when
<v Speaker 1>they panned out, they showed a shot of the crowd.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody is just going crazy for this guy. So it
<v Speaker 1>made him look like a superstar, and no Trick comes
<v Speaker 1>out there every week and looks like a superstar. He
<v Speaker 1>get the superstar entrance, but more so than usual. He
<v Speaker 1>came off as a big deal here in this opening segment.
<v Speaker 1>But after a break, we had Trick Williams again to
<v Speaker 1>the Miz. Late in the match, Miz hit the skull
<v Speaker 1>crushing finale. Trick kicked out, so Mis went to go
<v Speaker 1>grab a kendo stick. Lil Yachty stole it away from him.
<v Speaker 1>Yachty blasted Kit Wilson with it. Instead, and in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>Williams finished off Miz with the trick shot knee for
<v Speaker 1>the wind. A very basic match, but the crowd didn't care.
<v Speaker 1>They were hot for Trick Williams. They were there to
<v Speaker 1>see Trick. They got what they wanted, So there you go.
<v Speaker 1>That's why there were more people than usual here into
<v Speaker 1>this mismatch. It was because of Trick Williams. Now backstage,
<v Speaker 1>I see Carmelo Hayes, and I am amazed because I
<v Speaker 1>had forgotten that he was even part of the show.
<v Speaker 1>But I was pleasantly surprised to see him back here.
<v Speaker 1>He wasn't mentioned in the preview. They don't give you
<v Speaker 1>a whole lot in the previews anymore like they used to.
<v Speaker 1>But there he is, and he was being interviewed about
<v Speaker 1>his match against Ricky Saints later tonight. I should say
<v Speaker 1>it may have been added to the preview very very late,
<v Speaker 1>but when I put the preview together for this stream,
<v Speaker 1>we had three things announced, and Carmelo Hayes was not
<v Speaker 1>one of them. But he was talking about how he
<v Speaker 1>wants his United States Championship back. So Ricky Saints interrupts
<v Speaker 1>and he says, it's a new world since Hayes won
<v Speaker 1>on Vacation. Mello says he sees Ricky for what he is.
<v Speaker 1>This place has a way of humbling people like you
<v Speaker 1>and me. Ricky doesn't need advice from him, though, And
<v Speaker 1>as Ricky walked off, Hayes said that it was like
<v Speaker 1>looking into a dirty mirror. I don't know what was
<v Speaker 1>going on here. Mello was like speed talking through this promo.
<v Speaker 1>It was as if there was a countdown clock off
<v Speaker 1>camera that we couldn't see. That was like counting him down.
<v Speaker 1>He was trying to get all of his shit in
<v Speaker 1>before time expired. I don't know why he was speeding
<v Speaker 1>through this. I don't know what was going on with that.
<v Speaker 1>That was a little weird. Elsewhere, Nick all this had
<v Speaker 1>a pleasant little chat with Ray Phoenix, talking about him
<v Speaker 1>doing big things in Triple A. Yeah, may as well.
<v Speaker 1>They're not doing big things with him here on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>You know, Nick is so pleasantly surprised. You would think,
<v Speaker 1>as the general manager of this show, he would do
<v Speaker 1>more with Ray Phoenix on SmackDown, but evidently he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>see fit to do so. So after he left, Sammy's
<v Speaker 1>ain't entered the picture, and he said he needed to
<v Speaker 1>do things the right way, and basically all this was like, well,
<v Speaker 1>if you want a US title match, you're going to
<v Speaker 1>have to earn it. Sammy was not very happy about this,
<v Speaker 1>but as all this pointed out, he had already had
<v Speaker 1>his rematch. This is the way it has to be.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm like, yeah, you know what, He's right. You
<v Speaker 1>just head back to back championship matches and you fucking lost.
<v Speaker 1>You go to the back of the line. That's it.
<v Speaker 1>It's over. Feud's done. Sammy apparently wanted preferential treatment, so
<v Speaker 1>all this says, Look, you're clearly dealing with stuff. So
<v Speaker 1>here's my advice. Why don't you go and deal with
<v Speaker 1>that and then you can come back, because right now
<v Speaker 1>I'm getting this sense of entitlement from you. And Sammy
<v Speaker 1>is pitching where a Phoenix comes back in trying to
<v Speaker 1>calm him down, and Phoenix says, I don't even recognize
<v Speaker 1>you anymore. Paige and Bribella, the women's tag team champions,
<v Speaker 1>were being interviewed in the back about their upcoming match
<v Speaker 1>when Nia Jackson Lash Legend walked up to them said
<v Speaker 1>that they were going to take the tag team titles back,
<v Speaker 1>and at that moment we hear bre Moode in the arena,
<v Speaker 1>bre Mode was activated and Bribella said, we got some
<v Speaker 1>business to go ten two and the champions headed out
<v Speaker 1>to the ring because it was Paige and Bribella taking
<v Speaker 1>on Julia and Keana James and what was a non
<v Speaker 1>title match. Brie late in the match went into Bri mode.
<v Speaker 1>You know, she stands there, brebound and she screams and
<v Speaker 1>everyone's like yay, and then she hit the Brian Danielson
<v Speaker 1>kicks with the Daniel Brian kicks, which Wade Barrett on
<v Speaker 1>commentary said must have come after she saw the mizz
<v Speaker 1>earlier in the show. Good call there, Wade. Nice try.
<v Speaker 1>So we got a bellabuster on James, Julia tagged in,
<v Speaker 1>then she hit Brie with a lungblower, then a Northern
<v Speaker 1>Lights bomb. Page broke up the pin. Keana then accidentally
<v Speaker 1>sent a charging Page into Julia and the two of
<v Speaker 1>them had a very ugly spill out of the ring
<v Speaker 1>that ended with Julia coming straight down on top of
<v Speaker 1>her head on the floor outside. Meanwhile, Page finished things
<v Speaker 1>off with a rampage DDT to Keana in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Not great. This was not great. Page is still finding
<v Speaker 1>her footing in the ring because she hadn't wrestled in
<v Speaker 1>quite some time until recently. And Brie Bella, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Brie is just there playing, playing the hits, and she
<v Speaker 1>didn't have a whole lot of them to begin with.
<v Speaker 1>So this is kind of where we are right now.
<v Speaker 1>But the slow moving split continues between Julia and Keana James.
<v Speaker 1>They were shown in the back after this they were arguing.
<v Speaker 1>You would have to imagine, I mean, they don't have
<v Speaker 1>to do anything, but I would I would like to
<v Speaker 1>think that if they were going to do something with Julia,
<v Speaker 1>whether it was the actual split with Keana or a
<v Speaker 1>match of some kind. I can't even imagine, though, as
<v Speaker 1>I sit here right now, what kind of match would
<v Speaker 1>Julia even have on that show, because you know, we're
<v Speaker 1>going to get five matches? Where the hell she doesn't
<v Speaker 1>fit into any of this? Now? Where is SmackDown on
<v Speaker 1>the Friday before? Now? I know the raw after is
<v Speaker 1>in Turin? Is the smell before Clashing Italy in Italy?
<v Speaker 1>Because if it is, then that's probably where they get
<v Speaker 1>her on the show. But right now, I just can't
<v Speaker 1>imagine her being on the actual pl I mean, what
<v Speaker 1>the hell would she even be doing on that show?
<v Speaker 1>Doesn't even make any sense. But they were in the
<v Speaker 1>background arguing loudly as Tiffany Stratton, the new United States Champion,
<v Speaker 1>was being interviewed in the back, and then she was
<v Speaker 1>interrupted by the returning Chelsea Green. This is after her
<v Speaker 1>heart procedure that she had recently, so it's good to
<v Speaker 1>see her back. Chelsea again tried to team up with Tiffany.
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany didn't want to have anything to do with pairing
<v Speaker 1>up with her, and I'm like, I don't know why,
<v Speaker 1>we're basically rerunning the whole like Charlotte Flair Alexa Bliss's angle,
<v Speaker 1>where they were kind of reluctant partners at first. Remember
<v Speaker 1>at first Charlotte was not interested in being tag team
<v Speaker 1>partners with her. That's essentially what we're seeing here. Chelsea
<v Speaker 1>wants to partner up, Tiffany doesn't want to have anything
<v Speaker 1>to do with partnering up with her. I'm not really
<v Speaker 1>sure why we're we're running this back, but look, the
<v Speaker 1>reality is Chelsea's on her own. Piper Niven just had
<v Speaker 1>neck surgery, Alba Fire was fired. Chelsea's all by herself,
<v Speaker 1>and you know what would make more sense to me.
<v Speaker 1>Why not have an on screen pairing of Chelsea Green
<v Speaker 1>and Matt Cardona. Why not they can support each other. Right,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying transition her into a valet and that's it,
<v Speaker 1>but like, I feel like that could be fun and
<v Speaker 1>it actually could help Cardona more than it would Chelsea.
<v Speaker 1>Chel You could plug Chelsea anywhere on the show. She's
<v Speaker 1>gonna excel. But I feel like it would actually be
<v Speaker 1>of some help to Matt Cardona if they got something
<v Speaker 1>going on screen with the two of them. But again,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think Cardona is the priority for them. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think they give a shit. But I would rather
<v Speaker 1>see that than this. Now, back to the ring. Out
<v Speaker 1>next is the.
<v Speaker 2>Undisputed, very much disputed champion, The WWE champion, Cody Wrotees
<v Speaker 2>comes down to the ring, but.
<v Speaker 1>Before he gets into the ring, he goes over by
<v Speaker 1>the announced area. He grabs an office chair and he
<v Speaker 1>throws it into the ring. He grabs another office chair
<v Speaker 1>from the timekeeper's area and he throws that into the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He goes under the ring. He pulls out a table.
<v Speaker 1>Now see, I don't remember now was it a slim
<v Speaker 1>gym table? That's usually we're all the slim gym table
<v Speaker 1>I see now, I don't remember if the Slimjym logo
<v Speaker 1>is on the table. Now, I'm very pissed at myself.
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't paying attention to that. But he went under
<v Speaker 1>the ring. He pulled out a table, put that in
<v Speaker 1>the ring. He was getting everything all set up nice
<v Speaker 1>and neat for a contract signing, and I'm just watching this.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, man, TKO is even laying off the backstage staff.
<v Speaker 1>So now the talent, Cody the champion, has to rearrange
<v Speaker 1>all the furniture in the ring now. Because they didn't
<v Speaker 1>have the usual p people to come out and do it,
<v Speaker 1>they were asked to take a seventy five percent pay
<v Speaker 1>cut by TKO and they said goodbye. Cody says he
<v Speaker 1>has all the ingredients here for a contract signing, including
<v Speaker 1>a contract for Gunther to come to SmackDown and challenge
<v Speaker 1>him for the WWE Championship in Italy. Okay, So it
<v Speaker 1>was not a slim gym table. I thought that was
<v Speaker 1>the case. That might have been the biggest surprise in
<v Speaker 1>the most amazing part of the entire show. They pulled
<v Speaker 1>a table out from under the ring and there were
<v Speaker 1>no slim Gym logos on it. This is what I
<v Speaker 1>call progress. This is good, although slim Gym may not
<v Speaker 1>be very happy about that. He has a breach of contract.
<v Speaker 1>Could be a breach of contract that could put the
<v Speaker 1>whole relationship now in peril. Gunther comes out only out
<v Speaker 1>onto the stage in the aisleway. He doesn't get in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, but he comes out and he goes. You know,
<v Speaker 1>last week talked to about how much time and effort
<v Speaker 1>went into the deal that was made with him and
<v Speaker 1>Nick alldis just for Cody to ruin the entire thing,
<v Speaker 1>the roster transfer of the best wrestler in WWE, and
<v Speaker 1>still Cody made it all about himself. Typical American, but
<v Speaker 1>he shouldn't be surprised. Cody just can't handle not being
<v Speaker 1>the center of attention, not this time though. He says,
<v Speaker 1>this is his deal, it's his title match, and that
<v Speaker 1>will be his title soon, So Golden Boy, just be professional.
<v Speaker 1>And Gunher wants him to ask nicely, don't forget to
<v Speaker 1>say please, and Cody says Gunther is the one making
<v Speaker 1>this weird by not signing like a professional. Contract is
<v Speaker 1>right here if Gunher needs a pleased and sure, please
<v Speaker 1>sign it, so gunh is guaranteed then to get his
<v Speaker 1>ass kicked in Italy. Gunther said, Gunther could feel that
<v Speaker 1>Cody didn't mean that. I don't think you meant that. Please,
<v Speaker 1>so instead, please mister Gunther. Out comes Royce Keys. It
<v Speaker 1>comes out on stage and he gets right up in
<v Speaker 1>Gunther's face and he's got a mic and he says, well,
<v Speaker 1>if you're not going to sign that contract, I will
<v Speaker 1>get it. Will will hobbs. Anyway, he comes down to
<v Speaker 1>the ring and he gets inside and Cody's like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>he's flipping the pages. He goes sign right here, and
<v Speaker 1>he's ready, got the pen in hand and he's ready
<v Speaker 1>to sign that contract. And so now Gunther runs down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring and he stops him from signing the contract,
<v Speaker 1>takes the pen away from him, and so Keys takes
<v Speaker 1>the pen back and he goes to sign again, and
<v Speaker 1>again Gunther takes the pen away from him. We have
<v Speaker 1>like a battle for the pen here. So Nick all
<v Speaker 1>this comes out and he says, this should have been
<v Speaker 1>very simple. This contract here should have had Gunther's signature
<v Speaker 1>on it, but it's not there now right, he overplayed
<v Speaker 1>his hand and so now the title match is up
<v Speaker 1>for grabs tonight in our main event. It will be
<v Speaker 1>Gunther one on one with Royce Key, and the winner
<v Speaker 1>will go on to challenge Cody Roads for the championship
<v Speaker 1>at Clash in Italy, and Gunther storms out of the ring,
<v Speaker 1>Cody tells Keys, I'm proud of you. We're friends, but
<v Speaker 1>he reminds him in case you didn't already, hear him
<v Speaker 1>say it's sixteen other times over the last two weeks.
<v Speaker 1>His new catchphrase, if it's not already on a T shirt,
<v Speaker 1>it will be very soon. It probably already is on
<v Speaker 1>a T shirt. But he tells him, I'm easy to find,
<v Speaker 1>hard to beat. It sounds like some cheesy like two
<v Speaker 1>thousand and six WWE Studios film that he would have
<v Speaker 1>been the star of Hard to Beat, starring Cody Rhodes.
<v Speaker 1>It would have made like one point five million dollars
<v Speaker 1>and then straight to DVD. But he wants you to know,
<v Speaker 1>not hard to find, but he's hard to beat. Very good.
<v Speaker 1>I like this setup for the main event here. It
<v Speaker 1>puts Roy's Keys in a prime position on the show,
<v Speaker 1>his first main event since coming SmackDown. It's a fresh
<v Speaker 1>match that we haven't seen before. It's two big guys
<v Speaker 1>getting in the ring and beating each other up, gun
<v Speaker 1>through against Roy's key. So I like that, you know what.
<v Speaker 1>I also like that because it means no Solo, Socoa
<v Speaker 1>or MFTs or any of the bloodlined lore. We kept
<v Speaker 1>it out of the main event this week. We had
<v Speaker 1>two people that had nothing to do with any of
<v Speaker 1>that in the main event. That was refreshing. That was nice.
<v Speaker 1>So I like that. Speaking of which, we go backstage.
<v Speaker 1>The Condemned. The Condemned wasn't a bad movie. The Marine
<v Speaker 1>five still marining? Yes? How many? How many Marine movies
<v Speaker 1>were there? Because I know Mis was in a few
<v Speaker 1>of them, right, was he? Jake Cage was that his name?
<v Speaker 1>Mis was in at least two of them. I know
<v Speaker 1>that I'm not hard to find, I'm hard to beat.
<v Speaker 1>Shut the fuck up. So we go backstage. Soakoa is
<v Speaker 1>there with his MFTs and they're while they're they're talking
<v Speaker 1>amongst each other around the television set, and Solo says
<v Speaker 1>that the tag team titles can wait. He asks if
<v Speaker 1>Tomatanga understands the assignment for tonight, our truth is not
<v Speaker 1>clear to wrestle now. Originally they had announced a tag
<v Speaker 1>team match. It was gonna be Damian Priesse and our
<v Speaker 1>Truth I think against the MFTs. And then we found
<v Speaker 1>out that our Truth was not medically cleared, which I
<v Speaker 1>believe is a legitimate thing, and so it changed to
<v Speaker 1>a singles match. I don't I mean, I suppose the
<v Speaker 1>whole thing could be an angle, but originally it was
<v Speaker 1>supposed to be a tag team match. So he said,
<v Speaker 1>Tomatanga there for tonight needs to take out Damian Priest
<v Speaker 1>one on one solo and Talatanga. They had out to
<v Speaker 1>go find Royce keys because You're like, I'm gonna go
<v Speaker 1>find keys, So they leave. Tomatonga is still standing there,
<v Speaker 1>which of course means that in the shadows here he
<v Speaker 1>comes Shinsky, Knackhem and old Pinske walks in to chat
<v Speaker 1>with Tomatanga. He doesn't really have a whole lot to
<v Speaker 1>say before he gets attacked by Talatanga, who says, I
<v Speaker 1>warned you to stay away from him, and he picks
<v Speaker 1>him up and he choke slams him through a table
<v Speaker 1>and that was the end of that. After a break,
<v Speaker 1>nick All, this is going at it verbally with Gunther
<v Speaker 1>in the back, who's a madman over what just happened.
<v Speaker 1>It's my title match and all this again, he reiterates that, look,
<v Speaker 1>you overplayed your hand. Now you're gonna have to earn it.
<v Speaker 1>Carmelo Hayes one on one with No No No, that
<v Speaker 1>was earlier in the show. Carmelo Hayes did not go
<v Speaker 1>one on one with with Bribella, but thank you Venom Kaitetsu.
<v Speaker 1>I think though, I think Mellow would be able to
<v Speaker 1>find a way to make that match watchable though, But
<v Speaker 1>I will say if I had to sit here and
<v Speaker 1>watch Carmelo Hayes sel for Bribella doing the yes kicks,
<v Speaker 1>I would quit. That was it. That would be it
<v Speaker 1>for me. I would stop watching wrestling. My heart couldn't
<v Speaker 1>take that. But yeah, Carmelo Hayes against Ricky Saints, It's
<v Speaker 1>about time he got Mellow back on TV. It was
<v Speaker 1>good to see him back now. Late in the match,
<v Speaker 1>Hayes attempted at first forty eight Saints blocked it and
<v Speaker 1>he hit him with this high angle driver that looked
<v Speaker 1>like he just spiked him right down on his head. Thankfully,
<v Speaker 1>at the last minute he did tuck his head so
<v Speaker 1>it was safe. But like upon impact, I think even
<v Speaker 1>the announcers reacted in such a way, like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>it looked bad when he first did, and I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>that's something that some of them probably said something to
<v Speaker 1>him about after, I would imagine. So then the match
<v Speaker 1>was interrupted and this was wild. He got Hayes I
<v Speaker 1>think like a chinlock or reverse chinlock, whatever it was.
<v Speaker 1>And they interrupt this match with a preview for the
<v Speaker 1>new Brendan Fraser movie Pressure, which I just saw a
<v Speaker 1>preview of it actually before before the movie Obsession tonight.
<v Speaker 1>It's about the seventy two hours leading up to D Day.
<v Speaker 1>If you were wondering what the movie is about, because
<v Speaker 1>we heard audio, but there was no video. So I'm
<v Speaker 1>looking at Ricky Sayin's and Carmelo Hayes in the ring
<v Speaker 1>in a rest hold, and I'm hearing a fucking movie preview.
<v Speaker 1>I'm listening to someone talking about fucking D Day and
<v Speaker 1>these two men around the mat in the ring. There's
<v Speaker 1>no video. I just hear audio. I have no idea
<v Speaker 1>what this was about. I have no idea what the
<v Speaker 1>purpose of this was other than just a piss me
<v Speaker 1>off in the middle of this match. Here, so Saints
<v Speaker 1>hit Hayes with a boot to the face, followed by
<v Speaker 1>a rebound back suplex for a two count. Saints was
<v Speaker 1>very frustrated, so he went for his revolution DDT. Hayes
<v Speaker 1>was able to counter that turned it into the first
<v Speaker 1>forty eight, only for a close near fall. So Mellow
<v Speaker 1>was struggling as he got back up to the top
<v Speaker 1>rope and he missed nothing but net. Saints followed with
<v Speaker 1>the revolution DDT. Hayes, though, was able to kick out
<v Speaker 1>at the last second, so Saints he went for Roe Chambeau.
<v Speaker 1>He couldn't get it, so he shoved Hayes into the
<v Speaker 1>corner shoulder first and then he took him down. He
<v Speaker 1>tried to get the pin using the foot on the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>Charles Robinson, though at the last second he spotted him
<v Speaker 1>and he stopped the count. Saints was arguing with the referee.
<v Speaker 1>Hay snuck up and rolled them up and he counted one.
<v Speaker 1>He counted two, and then Hayes gave him a taste
<v Speaker 1>of his own medicine, and this time the referee did
<v Speaker 1>not see it. He put his feet on the ropes
<v Speaker 1>and he got the rope assisted pin to defeat Ricky Saints. Uh.
<v Speaker 1>These are the kinds matches that I would like to
<v Speaker 1>see more of on this show. I want to see
<v Speaker 1>more Carmelo Hayes in general, but him against the newcomer
<v Speaker 1>like Ricky Saints. This is what I mean. This is
<v Speaker 1>a fresh match, right, This is this is what the
<v Speaker 1>future of SmackDown should look like in the months to come,
<v Speaker 1>as they call up these new faces and you get
<v Speaker 1>them in there with guys who can actually go out
<v Speaker 1>there and have a quality match on the show. And
<v Speaker 1>so I thought this was this was solid. There's a
<v Speaker 1>rock solid match here, Saints. I will say Ricky Saints
<v Speaker 1>is now one for three since being called up to
<v Speaker 1>the main roster. He lost to Cody Rhodes, he beat
<v Speaker 1>Matt Cardona, and here he lost to Carmelo Hayes. So
<v Speaker 1>that's going to have to change at some point, right, Nothing,
<v Speaker 1>nothing too alarming yet, but that can't keep up for
<v Speaker 1>much longer. But good for Carmelo Hayes, you know, he
<v Speaker 1>comes back with a win. My hope, my hope here
<v Speaker 1>is that they establish him again as a contender in
<v Speaker 1>the US time picture very soon, or I should say
<v Speaker 1>re established, because they had done a pretty good job
<v Speaker 1>of letting him go out there and establish himself on
<v Speaker 1>the show, and then he just vanished. So I feel
<v Speaker 1>like now it's almost like you're not that you're starting
<v Speaker 1>from scratch, but now you kind of got to start
<v Speaker 1>from the beginning and get him to a point where,
<v Speaker 1>all right, you get him in a program with Trick
<v Speaker 1>Williams or or whatever they have in mind for I'm
<v Speaker 1>not even sure what else he would be doing. And
<v Speaker 1>then Ilia dragonov is another one where he doesn't have
<v Speaker 1>to be wrestling for the US title right now. But
<v Speaker 1>let's get him back on TV as well. Let's get
<v Speaker 1>him back in the mix. I'm watching this show every
<v Speaker 1>single week, as you know, right, I do these reviews
<v Speaker 1>every week. I watch Raw, I watch SmackDown. We talk
<v Speaker 1>about the main shows. You can't talk about what's going
<v Speaker 1>on with the WWE product and not follow what's happening
<v Speaker 1>on Raw and SMACKDWN. This is what the people who
<v Speaker 1>always come at me with these dumbass comments don't understand. Well,
<v Speaker 1>if you don't like SmackDown, why do you stop watching SmackDown? Okay, sure,
<v Speaker 1>I'll just stop doing the podcast. How about that? This
<v Speaker 1>is why I do. We watch the shows. You get
<v Speaker 1>good shows, you get bad shows. Unfortunately for all of
<v Speaker 1>us who watch these fucking shows. The Friday night show
<v Speaker 1>has been worse than the Monday night show, and it's
<v Speaker 1>been bad more often than good. It doesn't mean that
<v Speaker 1>they don't have the ability to reverse that at some point.
<v Speaker 1>That's what we're all hoping for, so that one day
<v Speaker 1>I'll be able to come on here and say, holy shit,
<v Speaker 1>we got a really good episode of SmackDown tonight, or wow,
<v Speaker 1>that was the best SmackDown all year. And you keep
<v Speaker 1>hoping every week that goes by, this is gonna be
<v Speaker 1>the week. This is going to be the week. I'm
<v Speaker 1>still waiting, right, but at some point you hope it's
<v Speaker 1>gonna come. But Ron SmackDown are the two key shows
<v Speaker 1>of the week. You got to keep up with what's
<v Speaker 1>going on if you want to know what's going on
<v Speaker 1>with the key stories on the show. Yeah, that's just
<v Speaker 1>the reality of it. And Carmelo Hayes and ili You
<v Speaker 1>dragon of were two of the best parts of SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>from months from months. This show is demonstrably worse without
<v Speaker 1>them on the show. So we got Hayes back, Now,
<v Speaker 1>let's get Dragonov back in the mix. Unless he's dealing
<v Speaker 1>with an injury that we're not aware of. To my knowledge,
<v Speaker 1>I've heard nothing about him being hurt. Let's get him
<v Speaker 1>back on the show, Let's get him reestablished, and then
<v Speaker 1>at some point in the not too distant future, I
<v Speaker 1>hope maybe we could even get him in there with Gunther.
<v Speaker 1>Which is one of the parts about Gunther being on
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown that I love is that it puts him in
<v Speaker 1>Ilia Dragonov on the same brand. But this show is
<v Speaker 1>demonstrably worse since they've been banished from SmackDown. When was
<v Speaker 1>the last good or great SmackDown? Don't ask me. I
<v Speaker 1>have no idea. I have no idea. This is the
<v Speaker 1>show has been shit for much of twenty twenty six.
<v Speaker 1>In the back the Not Medically Cleared, Our Truth is
<v Speaker 1>all smiles and he finds Royce Keys and he thanks
<v Speaker 1>him for last week, and he invites Keys to join
<v Speaker 1>the Judgment Day and Key says, uh, I'll think about it.
<v Speaker 1>So Damien pre shows up as Keys walks off, and
<v Speaker 1>Truth says he invited Keys to join Judgment Day two
<v Speaker 1>thousand with them. Hm. Yeah, there was a period of
<v Speaker 1>time where all you would need to do is just
<v Speaker 1>add two thousand to the end of something, and it's
<v Speaker 1>supposed to make it sound cool nWo two thousand Judgment
<v Speaker 1>Day two that DX two thousand, just add two thousand
<v Speaker 1>to the end of it, add two thousand to the
<v Speaker 1>ed of it. Or in certain names, if you replace
<v Speaker 1>the eye with a Y. I guess that's also supposed
<v Speaker 1>to be cool. China with a Y. What was the
<v Speaker 1>other one? There was one inn Wcwall, So it was
<v Speaker 1>one of the females. It was I think it was
<v Speaker 1>one of the females in w CW. It was a
<v Speaker 1>very similar thing. Replace the eye with a Y and
<v Speaker 1>it's supposed to be cool, or put a Z at
<v Speaker 1>the end of it instead of an S. The Dudley Boys,
<v Speaker 1>the Hardy Boys. Doesn't that sound cool? Oh Man? Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>Priest doesn't trust Roy's keys yet. You know, he's been
<v Speaker 1>hanging around and Solo so Co is around, and he
<v Speaker 1>just doesn't trust this guy. So he warns Truth to
<v Speaker 1>be careful. Priest told Truth, look, you can't be at
<v Speaker 1>ringsides tonight because you're not medically cleared. He said, whatever
<v Speaker 1>happens is going to happen, but at least I know
<v Speaker 1>that you'll be back here and you'll be safe. Oh Asia, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>Asia is Asia or Medesia Madesia was one of Scott
<v Speaker 1>Steiner's freaks, I believe right as he called them. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>to change, I'm gonna change the name of the podcast
<v Speaker 1>to Slabonster Sounds with a Z off. It's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>so much cooler. Hey, lost dil Before I go on,
<v Speaker 1>I should thank lost dill Man. Lost Dell just came
<v Speaker 1>in with a fifty dollars gunhar bomb. And you know
<v Speaker 1>what for fifty dollars gunhar bomb. We're not gonna wait.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna read what he has to say right now.
<v Speaker 1>Twenty minutes behind. But if I hear Joe Hendry's entrance
<v Speaker 1>music still hasn't been played for the live TV audience,
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to lose it. Thank you for watching so
<v Speaker 1>I don't have to and acknowledge your tribal chief. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendry has just been randomly appearing. Joe Henry doesn't
<v Speaker 1>even get an entrance on TV. His entrance in song
<v Speaker 1>is basically the whole gimmick. It's kind of weird. He
<v Speaker 1>did say though, that he just recorded an entire album
<v Speaker 1>of songs through WWE that will be released this summer.
<v Speaker 1>So as long as deaf Rebel had nothing to do
<v Speaker 1>with the actual you know, writing and producing of the music.
<v Speaker 1>Then I have semi high hopes for this. Apparently he's
<v Speaker 1>got a whole album. Who was this person, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>who just came out? Apparently I saw something on social media.
<v Speaker 1>Somebody came out today or yesterday with three albums at once?
<v Speaker 1>What is this nonsense that I was reading about three
<v Speaker 1>albums at once? Who was that? Who does that? But
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen is in the back and he's again in
<v Speaker 1>his evil science lab with the cloning machine behind him,
<v Speaker 1>and he said, now for something even bigger and better,
<v Speaker 1>and he wheeled in a stretcher with a man under
<v Speaker 1>a tarp like a dead body, I guess, and typed
<v Speaker 1>away on his big computer and he hit the enter
<v Speaker 1>key and sparks flew. And so he's trying to revive somewhat.
<v Speaker 1>He should try to revive this dead show. Maybe it
<v Speaker 1>was SmackDown on to the tarp. Good luck with that.
<v Speaker 1>Speaking of dead Damian Priest against Tomatonga, it was Drake.
<v Speaker 1>See I thought it was somebody else. So why would
<v Speaker 1>Drake release three albums at once? What is the point
<v Speaker 1>of that? What is the purpose of releasing three albums
<v Speaker 1>at once? How many songs is that? It's that like
<v Speaker 1>thirty songs. It's got to be a joke, it's got
<v Speaker 1>to be a rib I don't think that's true. I
<v Speaker 1>think it's all bullshit. And anyway, Damian Priest against Tomatonga.
<v Speaker 1>So after a break there was a priest shoulder tackle
<v Speaker 1>outside that sent tom of flying over the announced desk.
<v Speaker 1>Priest rolled Toma back inside. He had it up top
<v Speaker 1>and Toma ran towards him and Priest slipped and crouched
<v Speaker 1>himself on the top turn buckle before he even got there,
<v Speaker 1>which did not look fun. Forty five songs. Oh, he's
<v Speaker 1>getting out of his record deal. Forty five songs. The
<v Speaker 1>question is are any of them good? But anyway, I
<v Speaker 1>ended up working out okay for Damian Priest in the end.
<v Speaker 1>Let's fast forward to the end of this, shall we
<v Speaker 1>The straps came down the south of Heaven hit and
<v Speaker 1>Damien Priest won the end. So Priest was slow to
<v Speaker 1>get to his feet but he got hit kind of
<v Speaker 1>not really they really they did these guys dirty with
<v Speaker 1>this camera angle because it was clear the boot didn't connect.
<v Speaker 1>But Tala Tonga mowed him down with a big boot
<v Speaker 1>and he was joined in the ring by Solo. Sokoa
<v Speaker 1>Tala then picked up Priest and shoved him towards Solo,
<v Speaker 1>who dropped him with a Samoan spike, riveting stuff. I
<v Speaker 1>don't care about this. As you can tell, I don't
<v Speaker 1>care about this. I don't care about the tag team titles.
<v Speaker 1>They have killed tag team wrestling in this company. So
<v Speaker 1>fuck these people. I don't care about their tag titles
<v Speaker 1>on Raw, I don't care about their tag titles on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>There is no division, There is no purpose or reason
<v Speaker 1>behind any of this. I don't care to see the
<v Speaker 1>MFTs continue to go after the tag team titles. The
<v Speaker 1>MFTs are barely even the thing anymore. They went from
<v Speaker 1>five to three. It needs to go from three to
<v Speaker 1>zero and let these guys go do something else. So
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying get rid of them. I'm just saying
<v Speaker 1>enough of this, enough of this. I watched Damian Priest
<v Speaker 1>out there, and it's sad. Like it is sad. The
<v Speaker 1>fall off is sad. In the react, people are apathetic
<v Speaker 1>towards him when he is out there. They don't care,
<v Speaker 1>they don't care. Library silent for the vast majority of
<v Speaker 1>this match, nobody cares, but this is like this stuff
<v Speaker 1>when I see this and the MFTs after the tag
<v Speaker 1>team titles and priests and truth, like this is consistently
<v Speaker 1>the worst part of the show every week. Like this
<v Speaker 1>is the part of the show that like, if I could,
<v Speaker 1>I would just hit the fast forward button. And I
<v Speaker 1>never would have said that before about Damian Priest. I
<v Speaker 1>have nothing against Damian Priest. I would say sad. It's
<v Speaker 1>sad to see where he was and where he is
<v Speaker 1>now and how did we get here? You know, I
<v Speaker 1>know he missed a good chunk of time last year.
<v Speaker 1>He had a bad back and they were trying to
<v Speaker 1>look out for him and they were like, you're going
<v Speaker 1>to take time, like they forced him to take time
<v Speaker 1>off and so that hurt him a little bit not
<v Speaker 1>being around as much. But that's no excuse. This is
<v Speaker 1>a guy who at one point was I would say,
<v Speaker 1>a pretty major character on the television show on Mondays.
<v Speaker 1>But ever since he got moved to Fridays, man, it's
<v Speaker 1>like it's two totally different people. It's like it's not
<v Speaker 1>even the same guy. Now we go to the back,
<v Speaker 1>Samy's ain't is sitting there complaining and venting to somebody
<v Speaker 1>who we can't see, and then the camera pans over
<v Speaker 1>and it is depressed Johnny Gargano, who was still laying
<v Speaker 1>their comatose, eyes wide open, catatonic, and Sammy is talking
<v Speaker 1>about how, man, you know, wrestling, wrestling used to be
<v Speaker 1>grea at wrestling. Hey, he was shooting here. Wrestling used
<v Speaker 1>to be great. What happened to wrestling? I asked myself
<v Speaker 1>that question every fucking week when I watch this show.
<v Speaker 1>What happened? What happened? I mean, look, I love the
<v Speaker 1>Vault channel on YouTube. Okay, I'm subscribed and it's got
<v Speaker 1>like four million subscribers. I'm not the only one, but
<v Speaker 1>it's it's unavoidable, like when new videos get posted and
<v Speaker 1>shit pops up, because it's like a it's a mix
<v Speaker 1>of different stuff. I say, the Vault, it's not just
<v Speaker 1>like eighty stuff. It's stuff from the twenty tens and
<v Speaker 1>the two thousand's and the nineties and the eighties, and
<v Speaker 1>like there'll be some SmackDown stuff that pops up, so
<v Speaker 1>even that I like, it'll pop up and I'm like, man,
<v Speaker 1>what happened? How did we go from that to this?
<v Speaker 1>How is this even the same company? How is this
<v Speaker 1>the same product. How is this a lot of the
<v Speaker 1>same people, you know, bry Pritchard and Hayes and lovec.
<v Speaker 1>I mean it's I know Vince isn't there, But my god, Like,
<v Speaker 1>what the hell happened here? I ask myself that question
<v Speaker 1>every week. Me and Sammy, we we share a lot
<v Speaker 1>in common here. We probably have a conversation about this.
<v Speaker 1>Candice Leray comes over and she says, this isn't helping Johnny.
<v Speaker 1>She wants she wants a better husband. She doesn't want
<v Speaker 1>a husband that's just gonna lay around like this, and
<v Speaker 1>she walks off, and Sammy says, Johnny doesn't need to
<v Speaker 1>listen to the noise. Remember who he is. You can't
<v Speaker 1>let anybody take that away from you. What is the
<v Speaker 1>point of this? Johnny Gargano has been laying comatose on
<v Speaker 1>a cart for it has to be six months, months months?
<v Speaker 1>What what is the point of this? Like? Is this
<v Speaker 1>still supposed to be funny? I mean there are some
<v Speaker 1>people who probably didn't find it funny to begin with.
<v Speaker 1>It was at least somewhat amusing. It ain't amusing anymore. Like,
<v Speaker 1>what are we doing here? What are we doing? I
<v Speaker 1>get it, okay, I understand, the man lost his tag
<v Speaker 1>team partner and then they fired the MotorCity machine guns,
<v Speaker 1>so now he's all by himself. If there was going
<v Speaker 1>to be some sort of payoff to this with the
<v Speaker 1>machine guns, right, that went out the window. I get it,
<v Speaker 1>But like, is he literally gonna lay there until his
<v Speaker 1>contract runs Is that the idea that he's just gonna
<v Speaker 1>lay there every week until his contract runs out and
<v Speaker 1>then he'll even go to AW. It is very enticing
<v Speaker 1>the thought of a tag team division that has the
<v Speaker 1>Young Bucks, FTR Cope and Christian, the MotorCity machine Guns.
<v Speaker 1>If they sign the New Day, if they sign Champion Gargath,
<v Speaker 1>they already have Champa Champion Gargano. That's not even all
<v Speaker 1>of them. But can you imagine, Now that's one hell
<v Speaker 1>of a tag team division. And I'm not one of
<v Speaker 1>these people like everybody should go to AW, but I mean,
<v Speaker 1>my come on, like, if he becomes if he becomes available,
<v Speaker 1>it's just it's it's just such a no brainer. It's
<v Speaker 1>just like a fucking gimme. It's a layup? Is that
<v Speaker 1>the goal here? Let's just let's just kill time until
<v Speaker 1>his contract is up. I don't know, I really I don't.
<v Speaker 1>I don't, you know, there's no reason that Johnny Gargano
<v Speaker 1>should not be contributing to the mid card on this
<v Speaker 1>show in some way. Are they in fact building to
<v Speaker 1>something with him and Sammy? Are they gonna be partners?
<v Speaker 1>Are they gonna are they gonna wrestle? Because look, when
<v Speaker 1>the moment comes if we assume that the moment will
<v Speaker 1>come where Johnny all of a sudden he responds, right,
<v Speaker 1>he sits up, and it'll get a pop and that'll
<v Speaker 1>be it, right, that'll be it. If we even get that,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not even convinced that we're going to get that.
<v Speaker 1>But like, where is there an end goal to this?
<v Speaker 1>Do they have an idea in mind? And if they do,
<v Speaker 1>can we please fast forward this because we've already had
<v Speaker 1>six months of this. Were Jade and her baddies on
<v Speaker 1>the way to the ring for a promo. Jade says
<v Speaker 1>that she's taking the title back in Italy and then
<v Speaker 1>she starts rambling on and on, and I'm like, I
<v Speaker 1>just wrote my notes. This is tough to watch. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>she was out there at one point, actually two different points.
<v Speaker 1>I think she was out there asking people basically for heat,
<v Speaker 1>like she was saying she wanted heat from the crowd.
<v Speaker 1>She wasn't getting a whole lot of it. She got
<v Speaker 1>a little bit of it, she wasn't getting as much,
<v Speaker 1>I think as she wanted to. Charlotte Flair interrupts, followed
<v Speaker 1>by Alexa Bliss because they're going to be taking on
<v Speaker 1>Meat and Befab tonight, and they both have microphones and
<v Speaker 1>they are talking on their way down to the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and Charlotte says that no one wants to hear Jade talk,
<v Speaker 1>and Bliss says that this is Flair Country. Last week,
<v Speaker 1>Jade finally pissed Charlotte off, so let's play, and Jade
<v Speaker 1>calls them the backup dancers because Ria Ripley is the
<v Speaker 1>main show. Bliss says that Jade's backup dancers can't even
<v Speaker 1>make Jade look good, so Jade calls for a referee
<v Speaker 1>and she warns that I'm getting bored of the two
<v Speaker 1>of you. Yeah, I was pretty bored by this myself.
<v Speaker 1>This was bad. This is a bad segment. After a break,
<v Speaker 1>we also got a reminderr that Blake Monroe is coming soon.
<v Speaker 1>Supposedly she could make her debut on the show as
<v Speaker 1>early as next week, so if it's not next week,
<v Speaker 1>very likely by the week after she but she is,
<v Speaker 1>she is coming. She is coming. Charlotte Flair and Alexa
<v Speaker 1>Bliss against Meechin and BFAB. If Charlotte was not on
<v Speaker 1>offense in this match, and then outside of the one
<v Speaker 1>moment where Alexa was teasing the sister Abigail DDT, nobody cared. Nobody,
<v Speaker 1>like nobody in this crowd could be bothered to care
<v Speaker 1>about anything else that was going on in this match,
<v Speaker 1>and Jade was at ringside. She just sat out there
<v Speaker 1>and observed Flare at one point counter to roll up
<v Speaker 1>into a pretty bad figure for Bliss, blind tagged in,
<v Speaker 1>BFAB ended up falling to the sister Abigail DDT. But
<v Speaker 1>then Jade yanks Alexa out of the ring and the
<v Speaker 1>referee throws the match out, So we got a cheap
<v Speaker 1>dq finish here. Charlotte, she took care of Meechin and
<v Speaker 1>b Fab. The crowd was chanting for Rhea, who wasn't
<v Speaker 1>even there, and Jade ended up staring down and Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>to close out the segment. And then we found out
<v Speaker 1>a little later on that just added to Saturday night's
<v Speaker 1>main event, not tomorrow, but a week from tomorrow, Rhea Ripley,
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will take on Jade Cargill,
<v Speaker 1>Meechen and BFAB, so that is now official for that show. Meanwhile,
<v Speaker 1>in the back, Fatal Influence is watching all of this
<v Speaker 1>on TV. Kathy Kelly shows up to talk to them,
<v Speaker 1>and Fallon Henley says that we're at the top of
<v Speaker 1>the food chain, and Laney Reid is talking about how
<v Speaker 1>there's so much better than the other teams, and jac
<v Speaker 1>Jaane is talking about loyalty and we're gonna get all
<v Speaker 1>the gold and pretty basic promo here. Then in the back,
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys is getting ready for his main event and
<v Speaker 1>Solo's Socoa, yet again, is here to annoy this man.
<v Speaker 1>Solo says he can help Keys become the champion. They
<v Speaker 1>can run smack Down together and he would hate to
<v Speaker 1>see what happened to Nakamora happened to Royce Keys. That
<v Speaker 1>line pissed off Keys. He says, I got this, and
<v Speaker 1>Solo says, okay, but Jacob Fatu said the same thing true,
<v Speaker 1>And now Jacob Fatu is actually on Raw, killing Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns and challenging for the world heavyweight Championship. Meanwhile, Solo
<v Speaker 1>Sokoa on this show has lost half his crew and
<v Speaker 1>he spends most of his time backstage, So maybe pipe
<v Speaker 1>down a little bit. Maybe this is not the best
<v Speaker 1>person to be making an offer to Royce Keys. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think Solo Soko is the best messenger here. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know why Royce Keys would even be giving this
<v Speaker 1>man the time of day. Now, they announced an unbelievable
<v Speaker 1>match for SmackDown next week. I mean, I am, I am.
<v Speaker 1>I'm very depressed that I will not be here next
<v Speaker 1>week to see this match live. I may I may
<v Speaker 1>have to talk to somebody this week just to have
<v Speaker 1>a shoulder to cry on, because I'm very disappointed that
<v Speaker 1>I won't be here to see it. Next week on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>It will be Shinski Nakamora one on one with Taalatonga.
<v Speaker 1>There it is. I mean, has there been a bigger
<v Speaker 1>match all year on SmackDown. I don't know about you, guys.
<v Speaker 1>I'm bummed I ain't gonna be here to see that
<v Speaker 1>barn Burner next week. But that's the one match that's
<v Speaker 1>been confirmed for SmackDown next week. I'm sure you will
<v Speaker 1>all enjoy Shinsk and Taalatanga. Next week, enjoy the main
<v Speaker 1>event Gunther one on one with Royce Keys. This was
<v Speaker 1>only Keys's fourth match on SmackDown and he is already
<v Speaker 1>in the main event. We got a test of strength
<v Speaker 1>here to kick things off between these two big. Keys
<v Speaker 1>was not backing down. A little bit later on, he
<v Speaker 1>got gun Through up for the British Bulldog power Slam
<v Speaker 1>Running Power Slam. Gunher ended up leaving the ring and
<v Speaker 1>I guess he wanted to get a breather. Keys was like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think so, so he followed him outside. He
<v Speaker 1>hurled Gunther over the announced desk. A little later on,
<v Speaker 1>Keys was thrown out of the ring by Gunther. Gunther
<v Speaker 1>attempted a big boot from the apron. Keys though caught
<v Speaker 1>him and he picked him up, and he slammed him
<v Speaker 1>two or three times. Then was three times on top
<v Speaker 1>of the announced desk, so back inside. Gunther climbed to
<v Speaker 1>the top, but got sent back down with a superplex
<v Speaker 1>by Keys for a near fall. Gunh there caught him
<v Speaker 1>by surprise though in a sleeper hold, and he brought
<v Speaker 1>him down solo Socoa. All of a sudden magically appears
<v Speaker 1>at ringside. He's there to root on Royce Keys. He's
<v Speaker 1>cheering him on, come on, well, come on well. And
<v Speaker 1>Solo's appearance causes a little bit of a distraction here
<v Speaker 1>for Gunther. So Keys was able to escape the sleeper
<v Speaker 1>hold dropped him with a clothesline, but again he found
<v Speaker 1>himself in the sleeper Again. Keys managed to free himself
<v Speaker 1>and he pounced him. But he pounced Gunther backwards into
<v Speaker 1>the referee. Down goes the ref. So we got a
<v Speaker 1>ref bump here. It is see everyone in this chat
<v Speaker 1>is blown away by how big of a match that
<v Speaker 1>is for next week. Like I'm just like, of all
<v Speaker 1>the things that they could announce a week out to
<v Speaker 1>get people really excited for smackdowns, that's the one thing
<v Speaker 1>they announced. She's incredible, incredible to me. So the ref
<v Speaker 1>is down. Solo Sekela goes under the ring. He retrieves
<v Speaker 1>a chair, slides it into the ring right at the
<v Speaker 1>feet of Royce Keys. He wants him to use the chair,
<v Speaker 1>go ahead, blast him with it, hit him with it,
<v Speaker 1>and Keys picks up the chair. He's got a big
<v Speaker 1>smile on his face and he decides I don't need it,
<v Speaker 1>and he chucks the chair right at Solo's head and
<v Speaker 1>Solo goes down, but Gunther is already up and Royce
<v Speaker 1>Keys has no idea and so unfortunately for him, this
<v Speaker 1>distraction proved to be his downfall. As soon as he
<v Speaker 1>turned around, he got clotheslined and then Gunther power bombed
<v Speaker 1>him with the stack and he got the pin to
<v Speaker 1>punch his ticket to Italy, and so we all knew
<v Speaker 1>where this was going. This only confirmed Gunther. Cody rhoads,
<v Speaker 1>that is one of your mainument I can't even say
<v Speaker 1>the main event, one of your main events. If guntherro
<v Speaker 1>is winning the championship, then it should be the main
<v Speaker 1>event at Clash in Italy. Cody Roads against Gunther, so
<v Speaker 1>Gunher after the match, he goes right up to the camera,
<v Speaker 1>the camera guy in the corner, and he like really
<v Speaker 1>up close, and he grabs the camera and he's speaking
<v Speaker 1>into the camera. He's yelling into the camera at Cody.
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhodes comes up from behind though, and he puts
<v Speaker 1>him in position for a Crossroads and he drops gun
<v Speaker 1>through with Crossroads, and that is how the show went
<v Speaker 1>off the air. I will say this, I thought the
<v Speaker 1>match was solid for the most part. I mean it
<v Speaker 1>dragged a little bit there, but I enjoyed the main
<v Speaker 1>event for the most part. It was good to see
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys in a prime position, and not just a
<v Speaker 1>prime position. I mean he was in what three, three
<v Speaker 1>or four I guess four technically, right, four segments on
<v Speaker 1>this show. He came out to initially try to sign
<v Speaker 1>the contract right, which led to the main event being made.
<v Speaker 1>He was approached by Our Truth in the Back, and
<v Speaker 1>then later on he was approached by Solo Sokoa, and
<v Speaker 1>then he was in the main event. And so when
<v Speaker 1>it comes to these shows, like that's more important than
<v Speaker 1>anything that would have happened in the main event on it.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if you would have beaten gun through, that
<v Speaker 1>would have been pretty big. But like it's the amount
<v Speaker 1>of time they're dedicating to you, and so for him,
<v Speaker 1>that's a good sign. And hopefully we'll get to see
<v Speaker 1>more of that, and hopefully he'll get more and more over.
<v Speaker 1>I just remember, like Carmelo Hayes when he first got
<v Speaker 1>called up to smack them right the number one draft pick,
<v Speaker 1>and then they proceeded to do practically nothing with him,
<v Speaker 1>and he just sort of meandered around on the show
<v Speaker 1>for like a year doing nothing but eventually, when they
<v Speaker 1>let him go out there and just work, what do
<v Speaker 1>you know, the guy got himself over. So it's not
<v Speaker 1>like some of these guys now that aren't getting big reactions.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't say Royce keys is getting big reactions. Ricky
<v Speaker 1>Saints not getting a lot of reactions yet over time, right,
<v Speaker 1>it all depends on the booking here. That's why I say, like,
<v Speaker 1>Ricky Saints can't keep losing. He's one for three, but
<v Speaker 1>he just debuted. Right for now, it's okay, but this
<v Speaker 1>can't continue on for much longer. The guy's got to win.
<v Speaker 1>Royce keys Man just keep putting him in positions like
<v Speaker 1>this where he can be featured. He's rubbing shoulders with
<v Speaker 1>Gun Three's rubbing shoulders with Cody Rhodes, right, that's the
<v Speaker 1>sort of thing that they should be doing with him.
<v Speaker 1>So hopefully we'll see more of that now. The downside
<v Speaker 1>of this is that it means he's about to be
<v Speaker 1>sucked into the mft's vortex and he's gonna be working
<v Speaker 1>with Solo, Soco and the MFTs.
<v Speaker 2>Now.
<v Speaker 1>The good news is he didn't join them, so at
<v Speaker 1>least we know he's not joining with them, But him
<v Speaker 1>being involved with them or feuding with them. That sounds
<v Speaker 1>pretty fucking awful to me. But I guess it's something
<v Speaker 1>for him to do, and so let's let's see where
<v Speaker 1>it goes. Let's see where it goes. This SmackDown was
<v Speaker 1>much like all the other ones. I can cherry pick
<v Speaker 1>a couple of things, two, three things maybe on a
<v Speaker 1>three hour show that I genuinely enjoyed, and the rest
<v Speaker 1>of it was just filler. The rest of it was
<v Speaker 1>very boring, very dull. It's it's just it's awful. It's
<v Speaker 1>just awful. There's just nothing. There's nothing with this show.
<v Speaker 1>There's no life with this show. It's it's just a
<v Speaker 1>very boring watch. I look at some of the people
<v Speaker 1>they have on this roster. I'm like, how it takes
<v Speaker 1>a special talent to take some of the talent that
<v Speaker 1>they have and actually create an environment where I just
<v Speaker 1>don't care about them. I don't care about most of
<v Speaker 1>the people on this show, and it shouldn't be that way.
<v Speaker 1>I keep hoping they'll come out of this rut. I'll
<v Speaker 1>tune in one week and it'll just be like, Wow,
<v Speaker 1>this show has a different feel to it. This is
<v Speaker 1>kind of nice. Then I keep waiting, and I keep
<v Speaker 1>hoping and hoping and hoping, and I get nothing. I
<v Speaker 1>get nothing. Going to two hours will help because it'll
<v Speaker 1>be one hour or less of this, but it's not
<v Speaker 1>gonna make the show better. They have to do that.
<v Speaker 1>Only they have the power to do that. All we
<v Speaker 1>can do is hope. That's all we can do. Death's side,
<v Speaker 1>one of Obafemi's open challenge opponents needs to be shamous
<v Speaker 1>and they should go for twenty minutes, hopefully during a
<v Speaker 1>commercial free hour. Yeah. I just don't know what his
<v Speaker 1>injury status is, but that would be awesome. That's what
<v Speaker 1>I'm hoping for. What a great surprise that would be
<v Speaker 1>if we heard his og music. The problem is that
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna hit his shitty, generic ass Irish music that
<v Speaker 1>def Rebel did, and no one's even gonna like what
<v Speaker 1>is that? Right until he actually walks out. Then he'll
<v Speaker 1>get a pop. It's too bad that his music sucks. Now,
<v Speaker 1>they don't seem to really give a shit. They're aware
<v Speaker 1>of the problem, They're aware of the fact that many
<v Speaker 1>of their own talents don't like their entrance music, and
<v Speaker 1>they don't give a shit. Alexandra thoughts on Mustafa said
<v Speaker 1>making a comeback in TNA. I didn't watch the show
<v Speaker 1>because f that noise, but I saw the clips online
<v Speaker 1>and it said he is still around. Yeah, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what that's about. I mean, guy, how old he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be? What sixty is shit? At this point one
<v Speaker 1>half of the Gangsters. I don't know what he's doing there.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what that's about. Dry Chicken says I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna need a cold ice bath after seeing Chelsea Green,
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany Stratton, and Kathy Kelly. Calm down, Dry Chicken, take
<v Speaker 1>a cold shower. He's sixty two, sixty two years old?
<v Speaker 1>But why did he suddenly pop up in TNA though?
<v Speaker 1>What was the reason for it? It's just so random.
<v Speaker 1>Broley Keana turns on Julia on SmackDown Italy on June fifth. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so SmackDown is in Italy on June fifth, so that's
<v Speaker 1>where that's where it's gonna happen. Then, yeah, she's not
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna said, like, she's not gonna be on
<v Speaker 1>the pl at this point. What match would she even
<v Speaker 1>be in? Doesn't make any sense. If they have TV
<v Speaker 1>in Italy, they could do it there. It was a
<v Speaker 1>cameo in a Battle Royal. All right, So basically Tommy
<v Speaker 1>Dreamer got one of his old ECW buddies a payday
<v Speaker 1>in a Battle Royal. Dry Chicken, Oh, Jackson Junior. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>has motivated Triple As to do better with the show. No, no,
<v Speaker 1>he hasn't. It's the same old shit fast Eddie solo.
<v Speaker 1>At this point, divorce has to be on the table
<v Speaker 1>for Johnny Gargano. I think divorce needs to be on
<v Speaker 1>the table for him and WWE so he can get
<v Speaker 1>his career back. That's what I think. This guy's showing
<v Speaker 1>up the television, flying, flying across the country every week
<v Speaker 1>to land a fucking crate. I don't under I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad he kept his job, but like again, to
<v Speaker 1>go back to those releases a few weeks ago and
<v Speaker 1>what makes sense and what doesn't make sense. Explain to
<v Speaker 1>me how someone like a Kyrie Saying, who is in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of a pretty key storyline on the television show,
<v Speaker 1>is released from her contract, but Johnny Gargana, who has
<v Speaker 1>no discernible story whatsoever and is paid to show up
<v Speaker 1>every week to lay on a crate, he's still there. Again,
<v Speaker 1>I would love to know what goes into making these
<v Speaker 1>decisions that are made, because they don't seem to make
<v Speaker 1>a whole lot of sense to me death side. If
<v Speaker 1>they insist on keeping CM Punk on Raw, then he
<v Speaker 1>should have a program with La Knight. It's not like
<v Speaker 1>they're doing anything with him. Yes, they're babyfaces, but when
<v Speaker 1>has that ever stopped them? Sure, I still think he
<v Speaker 1>should end up on SmackDown. But if he stays on Raw,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that's fine, he says. After all, Punk was
<v Speaker 1>feuding with Seth when he was a babyface until Seth
<v Speaker 1>turned a heel. No, you could definitely do it. Chris
<v Speaker 1>barr Is with a nine ninety nine. He's dropping bars
<v Speaker 1>here tonight. Tonight could have been worse. It really could have.
<v Speaker 1>I've been watching you for about two years solo, first
<v Speaker 1>time i've super chatted. I do love your show. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I love to hear that. Thank you, thank you, Chris. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>it could always be worse. It doesn't mean that it's good,
<v Speaker 1>but it could always be worse, which is kind of
<v Speaker 1>scary when you think about it. We got Scatman seventy nine.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for the dollar ninety nine. John Sterneker with
<v Speaker 1>a four ninety nine SmackDown was an okay show, saying
<v Speaker 1>it loosely. Have you heard of Jericho's fan video strange
<v Speaker 1>Kentucky people? What what does that mean? His fan strange
<v Speaker 1>Kentucky people. I don't know. I don't know what that is.
<v Speaker 1>Zach Black with a ten dollars super chat. It's been
<v Speaker 1>a while, man. I'm glad to be back on a
<v Speaker 1>schedule that enables me to catch your show live again.
<v Speaker 1>I would have to recommend Mortal Kombat too, and also
<v Speaker 1>Hokum for completely different reasons. That's another horror movie. I
<v Speaker 1>think that came out this month or is coming out
<v Speaker 1>this month, and I don't know too much about that one,
<v Speaker 1>but let me know if that's something that's worth seeing
<v Speaker 1>or if you think it's something I would enjoy. I'm
<v Speaker 1>actually thinking about Passenger, but I don't know when I
<v Speaker 1>would see it. I got House of Glory next Friday,
<v Speaker 1>and we got the back rooms of the week after
<v Speaker 1>so many movies coming out, some quality horror films, Wallace
<v Speaker 1>has just saw Obsessed Yesterday day. Highly disturbing. It is
<v Speaker 1>very disturbing. It's unnerving. It's like it's one of those
<v Speaker 1>movies where you watch it and I mean there's definitely
<v Speaker 1>some some jump scare moments in there, but you watch
<v Speaker 1>it and you're just kind of like on edge the
<v Speaker 1>entire time, like you're stressed out the entire time. It's
<v Speaker 1>it's a it's a wild movie. But I would highly
<v Speaker 1>recommend it if you're into if you're into horror, I
<v Speaker 1>would highly recommend it. Uh Wallace says Little People's Court
<v Speaker 1>in nine was better than this shit. Yeah, it was
<v Speaker 1>Devin from NJ I House of Glory had a mascot.
<v Speaker 1>Would it be a hog? Well, I guess it would
<v Speaker 1>have to be, wouldn't it. It only makes sense it
<v Speaker 1>would be my hug venom Ktetsu twenty five dollars twenty
<v Speaker 1>five dollars pre mode. Will you be checking in on
<v Speaker 1>or watching the MVP fights tomorrow? Haven't had Netflix in
<v Speaker 1>years myself, but decided nine bucks isn't bad to watch
<v Speaker 1>Rousey and Coronto alone. I also have a crush on
<v Speaker 1>Ronda Happy Friday. Yeah, I'm gonna be checking out at
<v Speaker 1>least their fight. I know the show starts at nine,
<v Speaker 1>and I think they're going to the cage at eleven,
<v Speaker 1>so I am planning on tuning in at least for that. Also,
<v Speaker 1>don't forget Godzilla minus zero in November. Have you seen
<v Speaker 1>the trailer yet? Yeah, with the New York at the end, right, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I saw the trailer. Yeah, I saw minus minus one, Right, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I saw minus one. So I'll have to see this one,
<v Speaker 1>Godzilla in New York, bass Bears. I tell you what,
<v Speaker 1>I was very sad though to hear that Masters of
<v Speaker 1>the Universe is coming out in a few weeks, big
<v Speaker 1>three weeks June fifth, I believe, is when the movie
<v Speaker 1>comes out, and I was planning I am planning on
<v Speaker 1>checking it out, but I was I was sorry to
<v Speaker 1>see the early projections and tracking for the movie is
<v Speaker 1>like a twenty five million dollar opening weekend, which on
<v Speaker 1>a budget of two hundred million dollars is not good.
<v Speaker 1>I hope it does well. It's not tracking well, but
<v Speaker 1>there's still time. There's still time to change things around.
<v Speaker 1>Bass Barras says a dream match that no one talks
<v Speaker 1>about is Eddie versus HBK. Plenty of people have talked
<v Speaker 1>about it. Everyone incorrectly says that was the plan for
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania twenty two. Was never actually planned for WrestleMania twenty two,
<v Speaker 1>but I hear people mentioned that match quite often actually
<v Speaker 1>lost Dill with the nine ninety nine. Hendri has been
<v Speaker 1>officially on TV for three weeks, no entrance music and
<v Speaker 1>be the booker round two hopefully, he says, well, we
<v Speaker 1>are one away from the bonus goal, so I would
<v Speaker 1>say there's a fairly good chance that that will happen here.
<v Speaker 1>But let's go through the rest of these. Arabian Night
<v Speaker 1>two thousand, Arabian Night, he said, you know what, Arabian Night.
<v Speaker 1>We didn't even know it. Arabian Night is the trendsetter here.
<v Speaker 1>He's got two thousand in his name. What's cooler than
<v Speaker 1>Arabian Night. Arabian Night two thousand, says, is Ilia still employed?
<v Speaker 1>This company doesn't deserve his talents. He's a wrestling focused
<v Speaker 1>star and a company that doesn't prioritize in ring. He
<v Speaker 1>should go to aw Yes, he is still employed, and
<v Speaker 1>I hope that they will get him back on TV
<v Speaker 1>very soon. And I will simply counter that by saying,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther is also a wrestling focused star and he's in
<v Speaker 1>a pretty good spot. So even in a company that
<v Speaker 1>does not prioritize in ring in the way that maybe
<v Speaker 1>other companies do, it is not correct to say that
<v Speaker 1>a wrestling focused performer cannot get over at a high level.
<v Speaker 1>They just have to want to push that person and
<v Speaker 1>put their muscle behind them. They've done it with gun Through,
<v Speaker 1>there's no reason they can't do it with someone like Ilia.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not even saying he has to be in like
<v Speaker 1>the Gunther spot, but like, get him on the show
<v Speaker 1>and let's get him in the mix. He brings an
<v Speaker 1>intensity that the show lacks. If anything, he's probably over intense.
<v Speaker 1>But that's what makes him unique, right, He's not just
<v Speaker 1>a really good wrestler again, he just brings this intensity
<v Speaker 1>to the table that you just don't find a lot
<v Speaker 1>of here in the modern WWE product. So what makes
<v Speaker 1>them unique. This week's episode is sponsored by wis. Up
<v Speaker 1>until recently, I had no idea what vibe coding was,
<v Speaker 1>but if you stop and think about it, it's exactly
<v Speaker 1>what it sounds like. And now, thanks to wix Harmony,
<v Speaker 1>you can vibe code an entire website just by typing
<v Speaker 1>in what you want and through the power of AI
<v Speaker 1>you'll get a website that mirrors what you've pictured in
<v Speaker 1>your head and is functional right out of the gate.
<v Speaker 1>But wix Harmony doesn't force you to use AI for everything.
<v Speaker 1>Oh no, no, no, no no. You have options. You
<v Speaker 1>can still click and change whatever you want all on
<v Speaker 1>your own, or you can click on something then ask Aria,
<v Speaker 1>your AI agent, to change it for you. It's actually
<v Speaker 1>a really smart tool. It also solved the very annoying
<v Speaker 1>problem of having to prompt AI over and over again,
<v Speaker 1>even for the smallest changes. This is a lot more
<v Speaker 1>efficient and saves you a lot of time and aggravation.
<v Speaker 1>Join the millions of businesses that already use Wix and
<v Speaker 1>try wix Harmony for free right now at wix dot
<v Speaker 1>com slash Harmony. That's wix dot com slash Harmony. Brolly,
<v Speaker 1>everyone is in a fucking vortex in this company. Every
<v Speaker 1>feud has to go for two or three months. Everyone
<v Speaker 1>has maybe two or three feuds a year in this company.
<v Speaker 1>What do they say, Brolly, You gotta you gotta let him,
<v Speaker 1>let him cook, you gotta let him marinate, let him
<v Speaker 1>cook for a couple of years. Uh huh. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why I sell my macho man. Rep. Morgan says,
<v Speaker 1>I laugh every time I hear Breeze theme. I always
<v Speaker 1>think of that time you forced yourself to listen to
<v Speaker 1>it on repeat while you got your medical skill. Yes, oh,
<v Speaker 1>believe me. I I remember it very well in the
<v Speaker 1>uh whatever it was, the MRI machine, the MRI tube.
<v Speaker 1>Don't move, you can't move, but we'll play what music
<v Speaker 1>do you want to listen? To? Play it off my
<v Speaker 1>Spotify playlist from my phone. We could do whatever you want.
<v Speaker 1>They play it over the speaker, but you can't move.
<v Speaker 1>There's like wrestling songs randomized in some playlist and fucking
<v Speaker 1>remode comes on and like you just picture like a
<v Speaker 1>single tear drop coming down my face, like something out
<v Speaker 1>of a horror movie. What do they call that stuff?
<v Speaker 1>It's it's there's a condition. They actually had a movie.
<v Speaker 1>I think Jessica Albo was the star, and I forget
<v Speaker 1>the name of it. But it's a real condition. It's
<v Speaker 1>very scary where your body is basically paralyzed but you're awake,
<v Speaker 1>but you can't move. That's what that reminded me of. EJ. Slimp.
<v Speaker 1>Twenty years ago today, Terry Funk told Mick Foley on
<v Speaker 1>Raw that WW the w W E sucks. I remember that.
<v Speaker 1>I remember that that he was saying all kinds of
<v Speaker 1>horror about Foley and his kids and his family and
<v Speaker 1>that promo. But it was when he told him the
<v Speaker 1>double yea double yue sucks. That was too far and
<v Speaker 1>that's when Foley hit him. I remember that that was
<v Speaker 1>heading into One night Stand. Right. Six truer words he
<v Speaker 1>says have never been spoken more relevant today. Funk was
<v Speaker 1>a genius. Well, it's funny you mentioned that there was
<v Speaker 1>actually a sign in the crowd on SmackDown tonight that
<v Speaker 1>said Terry Funk is a god. Sleep paralysis. Yes, that's
<v Speaker 1>a real thing, that's a real condition. Okay, the movie
<v Speaker 1>was called Awake. Yeah, that is That is one movie
<v Speaker 1>I did not see. Alexander. Hopefully Julia gets a match
<v Speaker 1>at Clash in Italy. She won't lost. Dill. I understand
<v Speaker 1>it made good TV. But if Gunther signs the contract,
<v Speaker 1>what does all this do for the main events? Lol,
<v Speaker 1>be the booker. It's a very good question. Had Gunther
<v Speaker 1>actually signed the contract, what would our main event have been?
<v Speaker 1>Probably something with Solo Soca Solo Soca again. Shinsky Nakimora
<v Speaker 1>would have been our main event tonight. And yes, we
<v Speaker 1>hit the bonus goal. Let him know, Leo. All I
<v Speaker 1>want is Keana on her own preferably as a baby
<v Speaker 1>face on a singles run winning matches. Is that too
<v Speaker 1>much to ask with this administration, Yes, it is. I
<v Speaker 1>do think that they have plans to elevate her. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know it was a baby face, though I still
<v Speaker 1>feel like Julia, if anything, would be the baby face
<v Speaker 1>when they split, and Keanu would be the heel. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, though I don't know. I still I do
<v Speaker 1>feel that way, though I feel like Julia would be
<v Speaker 1>the babyface, Keana would still be the heel. Los Dey'll
<v Speaker 1>give me a reason to renew my membership, Solo be
<v Speaker 1>the booker new content is what I mean? You want more?
<v Speaker 1>He wants more. He wants more. I should do another
<v Speaker 1>RSPW re one. Maybe we'll set that as another super
<v Speaker 1>check goal soon. I just need time to sift through
<v Speaker 1>all of the links that I still have for the
<v Speaker 1>next batch of posts. E J Slimp, My mount rushmore
<v Speaker 1>of funniest wrestling personalities, Heenan Santino, Our Truth, Eddie Honorable Mention, Yoshihiko.
<v Speaker 1>Do you like the list? I mean, it's it's okay,
<v Speaker 1>of course is on there Santino. I can see Santino,
<v Speaker 1>But where's Kurt Angle. How do you not have Kurt
<v Speaker 1>Angle on that list? You gotta have Kurt Angle. Also
<v Speaker 1>buy or sell Sena versus Dooring or Tana Hashi versus
<v Speaker 1>Sylvan Granier two legends who retired last year versus random
<v Speaker 1>guys that I love for no reason. I mean, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>he gives a shit about Sylvan Granier. But it's Tana Hashi,
<v Speaker 1>so you know he can make that into something good.
<v Speaker 1>Probably Sena Enduring. Yeah, I'll go Sena Dooring. I guess
<v Speaker 1>Bass Bears They Live is so good. Remember the fight scene.
<v Speaker 1>It's the best fight scene in movie history. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>I remember it. Roddy Piper and Keith David out in
<v Speaker 1>the alley. It is a classic. It has become a
<v Speaker 1>cult classic over the years. It wasn't at the time,
<v Speaker 1>but as the years have gone by, it's become a
<v Speaker 1>cult classic. Let's see what else we have here before
<v Speaker 1>we get to our be the booker. Here, we got
<v Speaker 1>Combat Theater, Krano or Rousey Tomorrow. And do you like Mma?
<v Speaker 2>Uh?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm not like a mega fan or anything like that.
<v Speaker 1>And I've kind of fallen out of it because it's
<v Speaker 1>not as exciting as it used to be. But I
<v Speaker 1>mean I'm a fan of it. Karana or Rowsy Rowsy,
<v Speaker 1>I'm going Rowsy for the win. I know Rowsy hasn't
<v Speaker 1>fought in ten years, but I mean Gina hasn't fought
<v Speaker 1>in seventeen years. So plus, I feel like if that
<v Speaker 1>fight had happened when both of them were in their prime,
<v Speaker 1>it would have been a Rondo win then too. So
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna stick with Ronda. She's been more active more
<v Speaker 1>recently than Gina has. Justin says Harry the Hog for
<v Speaker 1>h Harry the Hog, all right, I'll talk to I'll
<v Speaker 1>talk to Brian, and we'll see what we can do.
<v Speaker 1>Harry the Hog is the official hog mascot. How about
<v Speaker 1>the gingerbread Man. We bring him back to life and
<v Speaker 1>we have the gingerbread Man is the official hog mascot.
<v Speaker 1>James again, that one hundred dollars bomb, brother, I thank
<v Speaker 1>you very much for that. Very kind to you. Whenever
<v Speaker 1>we see a red bomb pop up, that means a lot,
<v Speaker 1>Justin says Fitt, says around two, be the booker who
<v Speaker 1>the heck can save SmackDown. At this point it is
<v Speaker 1>getting egregious. I don't know that it's anybody from this
<v Speaker 1>current administration, So I don't have a good answer for you.
<v Speaker 1>Broley says, main roster drags people down. I know it's
<v Speaker 1>Dave's ratings, but Viquerre has had two four star matches
<v Speaker 1>in the main roster nine in NXT. Julia has zero
<v Speaker 1>on the main roster. She had ten in NXT. Oh.
<v Speaker 1>I said that a long time ago, Stephanie and Julia
<v Speaker 1>were like two different people in NXT compared to the
<v Speaker 1>way they've looked on the main roster so far. Link Master,
<v Speaker 1>how did you not die laughing during the MRI laughing
<v Speaker 1>you mean crying. I didn't find any of that humorous.
<v Speaker 1>I know you did, I know all of you did,
<v Speaker 1>but at the time I wouldn't. I wouldn't exactly say
<v Speaker 1>that I was dying of laughter, was dying on the inside. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>we got West Coast James Hollywood Herrera fifty nine months
<v Speaker 1>of channel membership. There are prison sentences that aren't that long,
<v Speaker 1>but he's been a channel member for almost sixty months,
<v Speaker 1>says f SmackDown. Take me back to hog show. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we finally got to meet for the first time in
<v Speaker 1>Los Angeles at the last show a few weeks ago.
<v Speaker 1>I had the time of my life watching good wrestling
<v Speaker 1>and drinking Red Bull vodka. It's the way it goes, brother,
<v Speaker 1>That's the way it should be, says that was a
<v Speaker 1>good Friday night. They had a bar on one side.
<v Speaker 1>I think they had a Did they have a bar
<v Speaker 1>on the other side. I think there's two bars there
<v Speaker 1>inside the Globe Theater. Yeah, we'll be back there. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure we'll be back there in a few months. Venom
<v Speaker 1>Catetsu Don Frye or Ken Shamrock, Ken Shamrock mays de great.
<v Speaker 1>Look at that, he's only one month less than Jamess
<v Speaker 1>fifty eight months of membership. I'm going to a con tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>I'll be meeting Mick Foley. Is there any specific question
<v Speaker 1>you would like me to ask him? No, nothing, off
<v Speaker 1>the top of my head. He penned a very nice pend,
<v Speaker 1>a very nice tribute to Barry Blaustein, who passed away
<v Speaker 1>this week. He was the one who produced the Beyond
<v Speaker 1>the Matt documentary back, which is It's either that or
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling with Shadows, the best wrestling documentary ever made. And
<v Speaker 1>the two of them were very good friends. And I'll
<v Speaker 1>talk more about Barry a little bit. I'm not gonna
<v Speaker 1>spend too much time on him, but I'll mention him
<v Speaker 1>on the SoundOff this weekend. Very very close with Eddie Murphy.
<v Speaker 1>He was one of the writers, the key writers on
<v Speaker 1>a lot of his famous skits and sketches in the
<v Speaker 1>early days of Saturday Night Live. I think he wrote
<v Speaker 1>Coming to America and then the sequel, And there was
<v Speaker 1>another Eddie Murphy movie he worked, Oh Boomerang. He worked
<v Speaker 1>on that movie as well. So not like a big
<v Speaker 1>Hollywood guy, but he was also a big, big wrestling
<v Speaker 1>fan and fully Folly had seen him not that long ago.
<v Speaker 1>He actually went out and visited him and they got
<v Speaker 1>to hang out because he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's
<v Speaker 1>many years ago. But then he got hit with this
<v Speaker 1>this pancreatic cancer diagnosis like a month ago, and I mean,
<v Speaker 1>that's just that, that's a killer. So he wanted to
<v Speaker 1>send a letter to Barry, and then I think Barry's
<v Speaker 1>daughter was like, well, if you're going to send it,
<v Speaker 1>you should send it, send it now because he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have a lot of time left. And so I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if he overnighted the letter or whatever he did,
<v Speaker 1>but he wrote a whole letter to him and he
<v Speaker 1>sent it to him, and I think the letter got
<v Speaker 1>to his home on the day that he died, so
<v Speaker 1>he never got to see the letter. But he has
<v Speaker 1>a very nice piece. As far as what to ask him,
<v Speaker 1>I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure if you ask him about AW he's not
<v Speaker 1>going to give you a straight answer. He's been in
<v Speaker 1>the news this week. Maybe ask him, here's a question.
<v Speaker 1>Here's a question in light of this this AW stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Ask him when his Legends deal is up with WWE,
<v Speaker 1>because the belief is that it was up in June,
<v Speaker 1>which if that's the case, he wouldn't be able to
<v Speaker 1>show up at double or nothing. But maybe it's already up.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it's already up, and that's why people are talking
<v Speaker 1>about the possibility of him being on that pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>So maybe just ask him, Hey, when's your Legends deal up?
<v Speaker 1>He may not give you a straight answer, but it's
<v Speaker 1>worth asking the question. Yeah, pancreatic cancer, it's called the
<v Speaker 1>it's the number one. I think it's the number one
<v Speaker 1>deadly is cancer because by the time you know you
<v Speaker 1>have it, it's too late. I guess just where it
<v Speaker 1>is in the body, It just tends to be very hidden.
<v Speaker 1>And so when if you already have symptoms of it,
<v Speaker 1>like that's it, it's too late. You would have to
<v Speaker 1>catch it almost by accident, which some people do and
<v Speaker 1>they're very, very lucky. But it's a very very I think.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what the mortality rate on that is.
<v Speaker 1>It might be something like ten percent. It's it's it's
<v Speaker 1>not good. And if you're already sick with something else,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and he was probably seventy what was he
<v Speaker 1>seventy one seventy two, which is not that old, but still,
<v Speaker 1>you know you're older, you already have some other illness
<v Speaker 1>you're dealing with, and you know, poor guy probably didn't
<v Speaker 1>stand the chance. But we did hit not only the
<v Speaker 1>like skull tonight we smash that, but we hit the
<v Speaker 1>bonus goal. And so on that note, I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>stop blabbering on here and let's go ahead. Let's be
<v Speaker 1>the hooker, ladies or gentlemen. It is now time to
<v Speaker 1>be the booker. Yeah, you gotta get your checkups, get
<v Speaker 1>your annual physical, your colonoscopy, all that stuff. You know,
<v Speaker 1>what's crazy is that when James Vanderbiet passed away a
<v Speaker 1>few months ago. I don't know. That really scared me
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, man, I should probably get a colonoscopy,
<v Speaker 1>and most insurance companies will not cover it until you're
<v Speaker 1>forty five. You have to be a certain age, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm not there yet. So I'm like, but this is
<v Speaker 1>the question that a lot of people will face. It's like, well,
<v Speaker 1>if I just wait, if I wait a year, two years,
<v Speaker 1>three years, then I'll qualify and then I won't have
<v Speaker 1>to pay for it. But it's like, well, yeah, but
<v Speaker 1>then it may be too late. So like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>you got to you got to weigh the pros and
<v Speaker 1>cons of it, because it's all about money, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and these tests, these tests are very expensive. You know,
<v Speaker 1>it's a real issue in any event. Just do our
<v Speaker 1>tag team match here the Steiner brothers. Look at this,
<v Speaker 1>Rick and Scott. Look at those belts back when tag
<v Speaker 1>team gold meant something. Look at those titles right there,
<v Speaker 1>the former WWF Tag Team Champion, Tag Team Champions defending
<v Speaker 1>those titles. Wow, look at this? Look at this? How's
<v Speaker 1>that for a match? Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi against
<v Speaker 1>Rick and Scott Steiner. How's that for a dream tag
<v Speaker 1>team match? You know that word gets thrown around a lot.
<v Speaker 1>Dream match. This is a dream match. That's a dream match. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>we have a pretty cool match coming up at ho
<v Speaker 1>Genix Friday. I'll tell you about it in a second.
<v Speaker 1>But this is a hell of a match right here.
<v Speaker 1>This this can main event the entire show. This could
<v Speaker 1>be our main event. That's how good of a match
<v Speaker 1>that is. We got a few more to book, including
<v Speaker 1>a women's match.
<v Speaker 2>Here.
<v Speaker 1>Did somebody say Ronda Rousey a little while ago? Look
<v Speaker 1>who just popped up on screen. She's actually wrestling twenty
<v Speaker 1>four hours before she fights Gina Carano. How very nice
<v Speaker 1>of her, Ronda Rousey stepping back into the wrestling ring
<v Speaker 1>right before on the on the eve of her big
<v Speaker 1>fight to take on Athena the Ring of Honor, Women's
<v Speaker 1>Forever Champion, the Infinity Champion. How long has she been
<v Speaker 1>championed for? Now? Five thousand days? Ronda Rousey and Athena. Well, well,
<v Speaker 1>well we're on a roll, man, We're killing it so far.
<v Speaker 1>We can't mess this up. Oh did somebody say Ken
<v Speaker 1>Shamrock a little while ago? I do believe what was it?
<v Speaker 2>You?
<v Speaker 1>Venom Kotetsu? Somebody said Don fryar Ken Shamrock. I said,
<v Speaker 1>Ken Shamrock, and just like that, Look at that, he
<v Speaker 1>pops up, he appears. Ronda heard her name and she appeared.
<v Speaker 1>Ken Shamrock heard his name or heard his name, and
<v Speaker 1>there he is. It's funny how that works. I'm telling you.
<v Speaker 1>This thing, man, this thing has something, has a mind
<v Speaker 1>of its own. Actually, you know what, holy shit? I mean.
<v Speaker 1>I know he looks very Mike Tyson looks like he
<v Speaker 1>just watched an episode of smack Down here in this image.
<v Speaker 1>But how's that for a fucking main event? Ken Shamrock
<v Speaker 1>against Mike Tyson, Iron Mike Tyson and Ken Shamrock, both
<v Speaker 1>men in their prime. Who wins? Who wins that fight? Wow?
<v Speaker 1>What a round we just had Ken Shamrock against Mike Tyson,
<v Speaker 1>Ronda Rousey against Athena and the Steiner Brothers against Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Omega and Coda Ibushi. Is that not the strongest card
<v Speaker 1>we've had in a very long time. We have a
<v Speaker 1>chance to top it because we got a bonus round
<v Speaker 1>now that we got to get to. We could actually
<v Speaker 1>top what we just did. Is that even a wrestling
<v Speaker 1>MATCHI now, that's just a fight. There's no there's no
<v Speaker 1>wrestling rules, there's no boxing gloves. It's just a fucking
<v Speaker 1>fight between those two guys. Tell me that doesn't look
<v Speaker 1>like Mike Tyson just finished three hours of SmackDown. Oh boy,
<v Speaker 1>oh boy. We are booking a Tony Khan dream match.
<v Speaker 1>Tony Khan's a dream match, yes, indeed. All right, so
<v Speaker 1>this is gonna be a dream match per Tony Khan
<v Speaker 1>in a book, A tag team match. Tony is dreaming
<v Speaker 1>about Edge and Randy Orton as a tag team. I
<v Speaker 1>have to specify he's dreaming about them as a tag team.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what else he's dreaming about, nor do
<v Speaker 1>I want to know. Oh wow, Edge and Randy Orton
<v Speaker 1>against Hollywood Hulk, Hogan and the Worm. Dennis Rodman. Man,
<v Speaker 1>look at these big matches that we're booking here. We're
<v Speaker 1>gonna sell a lot of tickets. We're gonna sell a
<v Speaker 1>boatload of tickets. This is great. He has half of
<v Speaker 1>that team. Well, Dennis Rodman has made a couple of
<v Speaker 1>appearances in aw That is true. All right. Our women's
<v Speaker 1>match is going to be loser leaves town. So the
<v Speaker 1>loser of this next match is gone from the territory.
<v Speaker 1>That's the rule. There's a lot riding on this match.
<v Speaker 1>This is a career ending match, and it's going to
<v Speaker 1>include Jamie Hater. She looked very different back then. Jamie
<v Speaker 1>Hayter against Stephanie Vicaire. We're just rolling on here. We're
<v Speaker 1>on the verge of ending this week with back to
<v Speaker 1>back sweeps. Can we do it? Can we pull it off?
<v Speaker 1>Is it possible? Can we make it a reality? What
<v Speaker 1>a match that would be though, by the way, Jamie
<v Speaker 1>Hayter and Stephanie Vicaire. Oh, we're going inside Big Blue. Everybody,
<v Speaker 1>the Big Blue Steel Cage, my favorite cage. Loved the
<v Speaker 1>Big Blue Cage. I grew up on the Big Blue Cage.
<v Speaker 1>Hell yeah, this is a cage match. Participant number one
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Owens, who was greatly missed on these Friday night shows.
<v Speaker 1>Holy shit, do we miss Kevin Owens or what? Boy?
<v Speaker 1>We could use him right about now. Kevin Owens inside
<v Speaker 1>Big Blue against the American Nightmare Cody Rose. We're resuming
<v Speaker 1>this feud, aren't we. We already saw this a couple
<v Speaker 1>of times. We're running it back. He's got unfinished business
<v Speaker 1>with this man. He got killed in a ladder match
<v Speaker 1>last time, and now he wants his revenge on Cody
<v Speaker 1>inside Big Blue, and we got ourselves a double sweep.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I like to see. That's what I like
<v Speaker 1>to see. That's why, that's what I want to give
<v Speaker 1>back to you guys, only this time. If you're going
<v Speaker 1>to run the match, then he's got to win the
<v Speaker 1>WWE Championship, like that's it. You can't have Cody go
<v Speaker 1>in there and just beat him. And EJ looks like
<v Speaker 1>EJ is going to get the last word here with
<v Speaker 1>the four ninety nine. Is the story true that Cody
<v Speaker 1>Ibushi high five Vince McMahon and had no idea who
<v Speaker 1>he was? If so, I love him even more. He's
<v Speaker 1>the weirdest human who has ever lived. That story is
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent true. I don't remember what event or
<v Speaker 1>what pay per view he was I think backstage for,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah, I think he high fived him and had
<v Speaker 1>had no idea who he was. I'm sure Vince probably
<v Speaker 1>also had no idea who he was. He is a
<v Speaker 1>very very weird human being, but that's what makes him
<v Speaker 1>so special. He's also absolutely out of his mind. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know who's crazier, Coda Ibushi or Darby Allen. Can
<v Speaker 1>you imagine that tag team cruiser Oh yeah, you know,
<v Speaker 1>maybe it was the Cruiserweight That's right. I keep forgetting
<v Speaker 1>that they had a Boushie in for the Cruiserweight Classic. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but why would Vince have been there? Though maybe Vince
<v Speaker 1>was there for some of those because they did all
<v Speaker 1>that at full sale. Yeah, I just what a what
<v Speaker 1>a wonderful image that is Boushie all happy like, Hey,
<v Speaker 1>old White, I don't know who you are, but Hi
<v Speaker 1>high five turned out to be the owner of the company. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned that we have announced a very a very
<v Speaker 1>it's the word I'm looking for here, very exciting match
<v Speaker 1>for House of Glories return to New York City next Friday,
<v Speaker 1>which is why there will be no SmackDown review next Friday.
<v Speaker 1>I know I'm devastated, but for one week I will
<v Speaker 1>not be here. I will be on the call for
<v Speaker 1>HHOG at the NYC Arena, and we have it's our
<v Speaker 1>guest for the night, the raining defending ae WTNT champion
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight, who is coming in for a special one
<v Speaker 1>on one bout with Amazing Red. That is going to
<v Speaker 1>be a lot of fun to call and a lot
<v Speaker 1>of fun to watch, and I encourage you all to
<v Speaker 1>do so. If you can't be there live, we'll be
<v Speaker 1>streaming on Trailer TV Plus. So we have that match
<v Speaker 1>Shatzi is going to be an action against Lean Across
<v Speaker 1>one half of the aw Women's Tag team champions. The
<v Speaker 1>Hog Tag Team champions, Matt and Jeff Hardy are back.
<v Speaker 1>They'll be on the show as well Zillafa two. We
<v Speaker 1>haven't announced all the matches. Yeah, that'll come together this week.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, that Kevin Knight Amazing Red match alone is
<v Speaker 1>going to be worth the price of admissions. So it's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be a lot of fun. I know that the
<v Speaker 1>I think all the seats are gone unless we add
<v Speaker 1>a fifth row. I should find out if we're adding
<v Speaker 1>a fifth row, but all four rows of seats are
<v Speaker 1>sold out. Stage seating is sold out, just general admission
<v Speaker 1>right now, so you can be there. But again, you
<v Speaker 1>could also stream it live on Triller if you wish.
<v Speaker 1>But that's next Friday, so that's where I'll be. So
<v Speaker 1>the way things are shaping up, we have a brand
<v Speaker 1>new podcast on Sunday. That'll be episode nine to sixty
<v Speaker 1>three of the sound Off. And I guess if I
<v Speaker 1>have if I have any top line thoughts about the
<v Speaker 1>Ronda Genus stuff tomorrow night, I'll just talk about it
<v Speaker 1>at the top of the sounduff on Sunday. I can't
<v Speaker 1>imagine spending too much time on it, but that's where
<v Speaker 1>if I have thoughts, that's where you'll be able to
<v Speaker 1>find my thoughts. Monday we have the Raw post show.
<v Speaker 1>Tuesday will be a brand new installment of The Uncrowned
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling Show, and then Tuesday night Titans is back in
<v Speaker 1>its normal slot. We had a rare Thursday show last night,
<v Speaker 1>so we'll have two shows on Tuesday. Wednesday is the
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite post show. That will be the final Dynamite before
<v Speaker 1>Double or Nothing, and then after that, the next time
<v Speaker 1>I'm live with you after Wednesday will be Sunday for
<v Speaker 1>Double or Nothing, which I am planning on being live for.
<v Speaker 1>I will not be here for SmackDown and probably will
<v Speaker 1>not be here for Saturday Night's Made Events. So that
<v Speaker 1>is the way things are shaping up for the upcoming week.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you guys for hanging out with me on Friday
<v Speaker 1>and making this show a little more tolerable because SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>really does suck right now, unfortunately. And then yeah, Sunday
<v Speaker 1>sound Off. I'll be working on my notes tomorrow, getting
<v Speaker 1>everything together, and then back with you live on Monday.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I got for you, so again, be well,
<v Speaker 1>stay safe, Thank you for all of the support, James
<v Speaker 1>and everybody, all of you guys. You guys are awesome
<v Speaker 1>and we'll see you back here real soon for more
<v Speaker 1>Sound Off two thousand. Until then, take care, guys,
