<v Speaker 1>Jarre you Kady and Josh six one hundred. It's about
<v Speaker 1>that time.
<v Speaker 2>Little sports recap from the weekend, uh, including a couple
<v Speaker 2>ladies going at it this weekend Josh.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it was a weekend full of women's sports and
<v Speaker 3>we love that. On Saturday night, Denver Summitt FC, our
<v Speaker 3>national women's soccer team took the pitch against the Orlando
<v Speaker 3>Pride and it was a brief moment of scare their
<v Speaker 3>halfway through the matchup because the Orlando Pride ended up
<v Speaker 3>almost tying the game. And then Janine Sonis, the hometown
<v Speaker 3>hero who I actually went to high school with, scored
<v Speaker 3>her goal and brought the home team crowd to their
<v Speaker 3>feet as they won the game.
<v Speaker 4>Sodas fires and scores.
<v Speaker 3>Jannine Sonis, there's a final whistle.
<v Speaker 2>A historic night in Denver the Summit with their first
<v Speaker 2>ever home.
<v Speaker 1>Victory and good they did.
<v Speaker 3>That was a huge historic night. They got their first
<v Speaker 3>home win at Dick Sporting Goods Park, women supporting women.
<v Speaker 3>The crowd was electric, it was sold out there. Sonis
<v Speaker 3>actually recorded her second straight brace, which is scoring two
<v Speaker 3>goals in one game, and that was her second time
<v Speaker 3>so she did a back to back game, So shout
<v Speaker 3>out to the hometown here or there, we love it.
<v Speaker 3>I went to high school with her, so I'm definitely
<v Speaker 3>proud of her. That is awesome. But wait, there's more.
<v Speaker 3>As a massive bout happened in the MMA where Gina
<v Speaker 3>Carreno took on Ronda Rousey and this was like the
<v Speaker 3>first time both women fought in well over a decade,
<v Speaker 3>and this happened immediately.
<v Speaker 2>Rowsy takes Corono down, but Corono looking for the guillotine
<v Speaker 2>and Rowsey popped her head out and full mount ground
<v Speaker 2>and ground.
<v Speaker 1>Rowdy looking for the arm had already the arm.
<v Speaker 2>Mot mommon me up. People were upset by that fight
<v Speaker 2>because it ended so quick. Was it seventeen seconds or
<v Speaker 2>something like that?
<v Speaker 3>Seventeen seconds in Gina Careno was not even able to
<v Speaker 3>really get any punches off as Ronda Rousey went for
<v Speaker 3>the takedown, got it. She tried for the guillotine, could
<v Speaker 3>not get it, and then got armbard and we all
<v Speaker 3>know how devastating that can be. It can be really
<v Speaker 3>gross to see. She luckily tapped out. Damage was done
<v Speaker 3>the arm bar and you don't want that. I don't
<v Speaker 3>want your elbow in a horrendous way.
<v Speaker 2>The only armbar I know is like when you're bellying
<v Speaker 2>up to the bar and you put your arm on it.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, very different arm bar.
<v Speaker 2>But I guess everybody was but her because it did
<v Speaker 2>last so so short, well.
<v Speaker 3>Round, it was absurd. I mean they were talking about
<v Speaker 3>this for weeks and then you get all set up.
<v Speaker 3>People bought Netflix just for this, and then they go
<v Speaker 3>seventeen seconds saying it's over.
<v Speaker 1>I saw something that said this fight could have been
<v Speaker 1>an email. Literally, it's crazy, it's so funny.
<v Speaker 2>Well, there you go, guys, there's your sports recap with JKJ.
<v Speaker 2>Well here's a celebrity couple that I definitely did not
<v Speaker 2>see coming. But take it with a grain of salt
<v Speaker 2>because it's coming from the National Inquiry. People are saying
<v Speaker 2>Pamela Anderson is making room for love in her life,
<v Speaker 2>and Tom Cruise might be interested in looking up with
<v Speaker 2>Pamela Anderson.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I don't know about that.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know either. I guess he really liked her
<v Speaker 2>Golden Globe nominated performance in the drama last year.
<v Speaker 1>Was it last year? I think it was twenty four?
<v Speaker 2>Maybe the last show Girl.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah, And she's got a lot of good
<v Speaker 1>reviews for that, a lot of great reviews.
<v Speaker 2>And I guess Tom called her to congratulate her on
<v Speaker 2>her big comeback, and they've been in touch ever since.
<v Speaker 2>And an insider is saying there's a spark between them. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>we're spotted like a year ago, leaving the same New
<v Speaker 2>York City hotel, not together, but just moments apart.
<v Speaker 4>Well, and I don't you know, it's not hard for
<v Speaker 4>me to believe that he's into her. I'm just saying
<v Speaker 4>she is in such a point in her life where
<v Speaker 4>she does not put up with bs. I mean, she
<v Speaker 4>doesn't even war makeup anymore.
<v Speaker 1>She doesn't even have time for that.
<v Speaker 4>So I just don't know if she's willing to put
<v Speaker 4>up with Tom, who's his Shenanigans.
<v Speaker 2>His lifestyle and all that.
<v Speaker 1>That's where it's hard for me to believe.
<v Speaker 2>He's a little flashy, isn't he Huh?
<v Speaker 1>So who knows.
<v Speaker 2>We'll see, baby, they're hooking up behind the scene. I
<v Speaker 2>love this guy to celeberty go out there too, I'm lying. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>So there's some videos floating around this morning that got
<v Speaker 2>me all my rear endpuckered a little bit. Two fighter
<v Speaker 2>jets collided in mid air on Sunday during the Gunfighter
<v Speaker 2>Sky's air Show at the Mountain Home Air Force Base
<v Speaker 2>in Idaho, and the full base went into lockdown after
<v Speaker 2>the incident. Emergency responders on site. Investigation underway. But you
<v Speaker 2>see the video online and these two planes just smash
<v Speaker 2>right into each other and all the pilots ejecked I
<v Speaker 2>think they all are safe. But talk about a very
<v Speaker 2>expensive crash with two very expensive airplanes.
<v Speaker 1>Why is this still a thing.
<v Speaker 2>These air shows? Because we're constantly seeing videos of planes
<v Speaker 2>crashing so cool.
<v Speaker 3>When they don't crash, it's dangerous. But like if you
<v Speaker 3>ever get to see the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds,
<v Speaker 3>but they're amazing. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like there's videos all the time of these
<v Speaker 2>planes crashing into each other.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I got one more thing for you. I want
<v Speaker 2>to play a bit of an audio. This guy posted
<v Speaker 2>this video online. It's a split screen between him and
<v Speaker 2>his mental health instructor and she's doing something called laugh therapy.
<v Speaker 2>And then I saw this reposted multiple times and people
<v Speaker 2>chatting about it online. I guess this is a big deal.
<v Speaker 2>This laugh therapy.
<v Speaker 1>The best you want a couple. I need it, all right,
<v Speaker 1>I okay, alright.
<v Speaker 4>I have watched No I've watched it so many times
<v Speaker 4>and every time it makes you giggle. That cannot be
<v Speaker 4>a bad thing. Telling more people need to watch that video.
<v Speaker 4>Your mood can change your whole day. I can wrongly
<v Speaker 4>encourage you to go watch that video, and watching it
<v Speaker 4>makes it even more impactful, but totally worth it.
<v Speaker 2>It sounds a lot like when you tell a joke
<v Speaker 2>on the air and I'm like.
<v Speaker 1>Shut up. You know, at the end of it, we're
<v Speaker 1>both rolling. We're rolling, you know, having a good time there.
<v Speaker 1>What you got locally?
<v Speaker 4>Okay, Well this may not be something to laugh at,
<v Speaker 4>but a local food truck owner got scammed and this
<v Speaker 4>stinks for Miss Tanya Worth. She just launched Devrou Artisan
<v Speaker 4>Sandwiches last month, and she talked about how passionate she
<v Speaker 4>was about even just making sandwiches.
<v Speaker 1>My sisters used to make fun of me and call
<v Speaker 1>me Joey Tribani about how much I talked about sandwich
<v Speaker 1>cooking for people is my passion. So I decided to
<v Speaker 1>follow that dream and I love it so again.
<v Speaker 4>She actually started this food truck called Devaux Artisan Sandwiches
<v Speaker 4>and she's just a month in here. So she was
<v Speaker 4>hoping to be part of the North Glenn food truck
<v Speaker 4>carnival they had.
<v Speaker 1>Over the weekend, and so somebody from the.
<v Speaker 4>Carnival quote unquote quote reached out to her to be
<v Speaker 4>a part of it. They said that they required her
<v Speaker 4>to have like a four hundred dollars deposit, and she
<v Speaker 4>did all that. Then she went and bought like six
<v Speaker 4>hundred dollars worth of food for the event, only to
<v Speaker 4>find out that she showed up to it this weekend
<v Speaker 4>and they were like, yeah, you're not on the list.
<v Speaker 4>And not only that, but we are aware of the scam,
<v Speaker 4>like they did it to a bunch of people, like
<v Speaker 4>a few different food truck owners in the area.
<v Speaker 1>So completely crap.
<v Speaker 4>But we wanted to get the word out on it
<v Speaker 4>because they're gonna be at Denver Rescue Mission today so
<v Speaker 4>that food doesn't go to waste, right, So they're gonna
<v Speaker 4>do what they can to Denver Rescue Mission.
<v Speaker 1>But also they're gonna be there around noon.
<v Speaker 4>If you can go and help them out and show
<v Speaker 4>them some love because of what happened this weekend, I'm
<v Speaker 4>sure they'd appreciate it.
<v Speaker 2>You know what, The scammers sounded like after they pulled.
<v Speaker 1>Off this, gohay, they're still stupid.
<v Speaker 4>We don't like those scammers, Jeremy, Oh my gosh, but
<v Speaker 4>we do love Tanya Worth and again to row artists
<v Speaker 4>and sandwiches to go help them out if you can.
<v Speaker 4>A local food truck owner. A black bear was spotted
<v Speaker 4>in Westminster.
<v Speaker 2>Neighbor Another bear story.
<v Speaker 4>What so many bears out right now and again very
<v Speaker 4>active year for the bears because of the warm winter
<v Speaker 4>that we had. This one was at thirty second and
<v Speaker 4>Young Field and there's actual video of it. Somebody saw
<v Speaker 4>this bear just walking in the neighborhood and they were
<v Speaker 4>like it even said, They're like, I was mesmerized by
<v Speaker 4>their coat.
<v Speaker 1>Would that'd be.
<v Speaker 4>Funny if you just saw a bear hanging out and
<v Speaker 4>somebody's front porch're just like, oh my gosh, spring if
<v Speaker 4>he was wearing an actual coat, like a nice north
<v Speaker 4>face or something.
<v Speaker 2>Everybody's like, that is a good looking curt.
<v Speaker 1>That's a Colorado bear with the north face pull too.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, but yeah, be careful because again a lot of
<v Speaker 4>bears are out and about in our area. They're saying
<v Speaker 4>like as of last week they had more sightings of
<v Speaker 4>bears than all of like seventy seven percent more than
<v Speaker 4>all of last year. So it is a lot more
<v Speaker 4>bears out there, so just be careful. And then a
<v Speaker 4>Delta County crops done so, so this story popped a
<v Speaker 4>couple weeks back when we had those two days of winter.
<v Speaker 1>You remember those two days of the season.
<v Speaker 4>A lot of crops over there on the western slope
<v Speaker 4>were decimated because the change in weather.
<v Speaker 1>So here's the distinguished.
<v Speaker 4>Though, because when you think of over on the western
<v Speaker 4>slope and you think of like peaches and peaches, thinking
<v Speaker 4>where are they from PALLASI exactly, Palisade peaches were not
<v Speaker 4>affected by this.
<v Speaker 1>Oh thank god, I know.
<v Speaker 4>But that's the thing is that whole western slope, that
<v Speaker 4>whole North Fork Valley, it's a very fertile spot for
<v Speaker 4>their soil. It's like the soil is magic essentially over there.
<v Speaker 4>So that's why you get a lot of the apples,
<v Speaker 4>the cherries, the peaches.
<v Speaker 1>All of the fruit that cough, the corn from Alaitha,
<v Speaker 1>I mean all of it.
<v Speaker 4>And so they're saying like Delta County, so Olaitha, Delta hotchkiss, Paonia,
<v Speaker 4>the cherries, A lot of those crops were affected. So
<v Speaker 4>the majority of the peaches are grown in Peonia and
<v Speaker 4>even Grain Junction over there by the Colorado National Monument,
<v Speaker 4>and again those crops weren't necessarily affected, but a good.
<v Speaker 1>Number of them worse. You can expect one more thing
<v Speaker 1>to be.
<v Speaker 4>More expensive this year, probably, and that would be all
<v Speaker 4>the fruit and wonderful produce we get from the western slopes.
<v Speaker 1>Still worth it, but we might see a little bit
<v Speaker 1>of an increase on it.
<v Speaker 2>I was just talking to Nickknack this weekend because we
<v Speaker 2>a little pilgrimage out there for a long weekend last
<v Speaker 2>year out to Palisade, and I was like, I am
<v Speaker 2>dying to go back.
<v Speaker 1>You need to.
<v Speaker 2>I'd loved it so much out there, that little place
<v Speaker 2>that we stayed at and all the wineries. And She's like, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>there's multiple places that we didn't hit. The We're just
<v Speaker 2>kind of itching to get back there. It's so pretty
<v Speaker 2>out there.
<v Speaker 4>Alisades specifically is such a cute little mountain town and
<v Speaker 4>it's right there outside of Grand Junction, so all the
<v Speaker 4>amenities you need of a quote unquote big city are
<v Speaker 4>right there. But I mean it really is tucked right
<v Speaker 4>into the book cliffs.
<v Speaker 1>It's a magical little place, isn't it. And I know
<v Speaker 1>you're from those parts. You got over there, you've got
<v Speaker 1>the fields.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, so you know, it's very nostalgic for me, but
<v Speaker 4>you know, you just feel for those farmers and all
<v Speaker 4>the people who count on the crop, you know, especially
<v Speaker 4>a lot of money that comes out of so much
<v Speaker 4>money and so you know.
<v Speaker 1>Hopeful juicy peaches. Well that's the thing too, is like
<v Speaker 1>those farmers team up.
<v Speaker 4>So it really is like, you know, they'll team up
<v Speaker 4>and go to farmers markets together, so hopefully if somebody's
<v Speaker 4>crops were completely wiped out, they were able to, you know,
<v Speaker 4>be helped by another local farmer. It's kind of how
<v Speaker 4>they do that.
<v Speaker 1>It's cute.
<v Speaker 2>They show up and matching overalls. They polish their tractors
<v Speaker 2>together and.
<v Speaker 1>Go up and grab the straw to their teeth.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they were talking about squeezing peaches.
<v Speaker 3>Me in the middle. You want to.
<v Speaker 2>Squeeze my peach, Harold a little much, squeeze my peach first.
<v Speaker 1>They do take care of each other over there, and
<v Speaker 1>I do. I do love that. So yeah, there you go,
<v Speaker 1>there's your local stuff.
<v Speaker 2>There you go, guys, there's your mile high height. This
<v Speaker 2>Morning with Jeremy, Katie and Josh. Youre at Denver's Mix
<v Speaker 2>One Hunter who wants to squeeze my peach? Anybody come on,
<v Speaker 2>squeeze in that sweet peach.
