<v Speaker 1>Jar you, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>I was a cool Fax marathon this weekend. I saw
<v Speaker 2>some pictures, Josh, have you out there?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it was a wild event.
<v Speaker 4>I had never really been there before, and I had
<v Speaker 4>a couple buddies and friends that were running in the
<v Speaker 4>marathon or the half marathon. So shout out to Connor
<v Speaker 4>and Ryan and his buddy Stu who all ran out yesterday.
<v Speaker 3>Awesome, awesome event.
<v Speaker 4>And to be able to do that in any capacity
<v Speaker 4>and say, hey, I completed a marathon. That's amazing. They
<v Speaker 4>did it in about four hours, just a little over
<v Speaker 4>four hours, So shout out to them. Really cool event.
<v Speaker 4>I really liked it. Thousands of people and their dogs,
<v Speaker 4>drinking beers, cheering on everybody who finished the event. Right
<v Speaker 4>before my buddy Connor crossed the finish line, there was
<v Speaker 4>an elderly man who was running across the finish line
<v Speaker 4>as well. And anybody that does this in any capacity,
<v Speaker 4>first of all, is amazing, but to see older people
<v Speaker 4>being able to do this one of the coolest things ever.
<v Speaker 3>I will say.
<v Speaker 4>Watching him als the finish line all of a sudden
<v Speaker 4>rather a foul stench, our nose waves. No, it was
<v Speaker 4>not out the mouth orifice. And I've heard that people
<v Speaker 4>will wet themselves during a marathon because they want to
<v Speaker 4>make time. I think this man did the other thing.
<v Speaker 4>And I could see see that he did that. Really Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>you could see the poop. You could see the poop poo.
<v Speaker 4>It was protruding from.
<v Speaker 3>His shirts shorts poopy.
<v Speaker 4>Which look, if you want to make time, good for you,
<v Speaker 4>that's awesome.
<v Speaker 3>But wow, that is real dedication, that serious, Like I
<v Speaker 3>had no people.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, people will definitely go number one first of all,
<v Speaker 4>but people will also just puke on the side of
<v Speaker 4>the road and not even stop like they're throwing up
<v Speaker 4>on them.
<v Speaker 2>I hit the marathon down there when Nicole was doing
<v Speaker 2>all this, and a guy came right at the finish
<v Speaker 2>line and puked right in front of me and it
<v Speaker 2>splashed all over my shoes, my shins. I mean, there
<v Speaker 2>was puke all over me, and I was like, oh, thanks.
<v Speaker 4>So one thing about this marathon specifically is they do
<v Speaker 4>a lot of the pickle shots, which are you know,
<v Speaker 4>not not like actual pickle juice. They do pickle juice. Well,
<v Speaker 4>Connor was talking about he was on mile twenty four,
<v Speaker 4>so two miles to go okay, and how he was
<v Speaker 4>coming up to a lady and she was like, oh,
<v Speaker 4>pickle shots for everybody, and he's like, I'm cramping up
<v Speaker 4>a little bit.
<v Speaker 3>That sounds great.
<v Speaker 4>She was handing out fireball shots, so he took a
<v Speaker 4>fireball shot in the last two miles and was like,
<v Speaker 4>oh man, I'm gonna start throwing up too.
<v Speaker 3>Like it was horrible.
<v Speaker 4>She totally tricked people like, I've never why would you
<v Speaker 4>do would you do that?
<v Speaker 3>Well, you could be a grown up and say no.
<v Speaker 5>Well, he thought it was pile shot cold juice and
<v Speaker 5>it was actually fireball that led him.
<v Speaker 3>Oh no, that's awful, And it's funny.
<v Speaker 5>I've ran one race and it was only a five
<v Speaker 5>k I cannot imagine a marathon. But I wanted to
<v Speaker 5>throw up after that.
<v Speaker 3>It's rough. I can't well, don't.
<v Speaker 5>You come on, I actually able to do it.
<v Speaker 2>That poor old guy, That poor old guy. You know,
<v Speaker 2>I would have ran right to the laundry mat dedication going.
<v Speaker 2>I actually wandered.
<v Speaker 3>Into a movie theater this weekend. Believe it or not.
<v Speaker 2>I haven't done that in a minute to see a movie,
<v Speaker 2>I know. I just wandered in and then hung out
<v Speaker 2>and left.
<v Speaker 3>I went with my buddy Matt.
<v Speaker 2>I hadn't seen Matt in a long time, and I
<v Speaker 2>had a couple of passes to go see Mortal Kombat
<v Speaker 2>to finish.
<v Speaker 4>Dirt.
<v Speaker 3>It was really good. It was fun.
<v Speaker 2>It was a it's just a fun, goofy movie, you know,
<v Speaker 2>and uh, incredibly violent, but that's Mortal Kombat, right, what
<v Speaker 2>you expect.
<v Speaker 5>That was the sick of Mortal Kombat.
<v Speaker 3>You beat each other up, that's right, and cut people
<v Speaker 3>in half and all that.
<v Speaker 2>So it was a good guy movie, you know, just
<v Speaker 2>a couple of guys going and hanging out. I was
<v Speaker 2>going to bring my son to it, but I was like,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, I don't know if he'd be into
<v Speaker 2>it as much as I would because, uh the nostalgia, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you know for me. And side note, let me tell
<v Speaker 2>you something really quick. I've noticed something with movie trailers
<v Speaker 2>and I'm kind of glad I didn't bring my son
<v Speaker 2>because the movie trailers were filled with profanity and nudity.
<v Speaker 2>When did that become a thing where the trailers were
<v Speaker 2>rated are?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, there was brestuces.
<v Speaker 2>Well I thought about that too, because Mortal Kombats are
<v Speaker 2>so I guess if you're in this show. Yeah, Like
<v Speaker 2>I was gonna bring my son and I did the
<v Speaker 2>you know, I searched it online. I was like, I
<v Speaker 2>don't want him to go through a bunch of sexy
<v Speaker 2>scenes and movie and all that. So I was like,
<v Speaker 2>the action is probably fine, So I would have given
<v Speaker 2>the green light to go hang out and watch an
<v Speaker 2>action movie.
<v Speaker 3>But they don't tell you anything about the trailers.
<v Speaker 2>That include a lot of brestaces and sexy time scenes
<v Speaker 2>in the trailers that are rated A.
<v Speaker 4>Really trying to get people to go to the movie,
<v Speaker 4>like WHOA, what.
<v Speaker 3>Did I just see?
<v Speaker 5>And even outside of just policing your son, I mean
<v Speaker 5>usually they don't waste all the good stuff in the
<v Speaker 5>trailers like usually.
<v Speaker 4>For the movie.
<v Speaker 3>Right, Well, you know, I enjoyed it. I got a
<v Speaker 3>little yeah right like you're bang for your butt.
<v Speaker 2>But you know, it is definitely in line with the
<v Speaker 2>the retro and vintage right now where everything is going
<v Speaker 2>back to the like the eighties and the nineties right now,
<v Speaker 2>which is great for you and I kdies I, well,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I am digging nostalgia. One of the trailers
<v Speaker 2>was for Street Fighter, and I was like, oh, I
<v Speaker 2>gotta go see that one. Another one and another one.
<v Speaker 2>I am just all into the retro and nostalgia right now.
<v Speaker 2>In fact, I'm wrapping up finishing my basement and I'm
<v Speaker 2>looking for arcade machines. I want to put like two
<v Speaker 2>or three arcade machines down there, like cris In USA,
<v Speaker 2>like CRUs In USA or Mortal Combat.
<v Speaker 3>I want the old school where you sit down to
<v Speaker 3>play pac Man. You know, my friend has.
<v Speaker 5>A pac Man came in. Really, it's like it's fun
<v Speaker 5>and then you kind of just like get used to it. Though,
<v Speaker 5>Like I haven't playing that. I have thought about that
<v Speaker 5>pac Man game in years. I mean I used to
<v Speaker 5>play it a lot more when it was first you know.
<v Speaker 3>Yea, but yeah, kind of yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I'm kind of doing like a fun room for the
<v Speaker 2>kids down in the basement and a little bit of me.
<v Speaker 2>So if anybody's getting rid of old arcade machines, let
<v Speaker 2>me know I might be interested. Speaking of the old
<v Speaker 2>school in the retro, get this Pizza Hut is bringing
<v Speaker 2>back its old school restaurant features.
<v Speaker 3>God again taking you back to the eighties.
<v Speaker 2>The red roof, the red checker tablecloths, the vinyl booths,
<v Speaker 2>the Tiffany style lamps, and yes, the.
<v Speaker 3>Salad bars and red plastic. It's a salad bar.
<v Speaker 5>The buffet right.
<v Speaker 2>Well, and the buffet, I'm sorry, this is the buffet,
<v Speaker 2>and the salad bar is coming back as well. They
<v Speaker 2>say that they're just kind of revamping all these stark,
<v Speaker 2>boring new pizza huts that are out there because they've
<v Speaker 2>revamped them over the years, trying to modernize them. But
<v Speaker 2>people want the old school eighties feel, and you know,
<v Speaker 2>into the nineties of the of the old school pizza huts.
<v Speaker 5>So many good memories from pizza hut growing up. I mean,
<v Speaker 5>they actually just tore down the pizza hut in my
<v Speaker 5>small town not too long ago, and it was a
<v Speaker 5>big deal. Because of that, you remembered all the days
<v Speaker 5>a good time. They had an arcade in the pizza hut.
<v Speaker 2>Funny enough, speaking a cruise in USA, the first.
<v Speaker 5>Time I played Crewis in USA, it was in a
<v Speaker 5>pizza hut because that was right.
<v Speaker 3>Greatest game ever wass in US.
<v Speaker 1>It was so neat, you know, but when you could,
<v Speaker 1>like they'd bring a whole pizza to your table and
<v Speaker 1>they put it on that stand, so it was like
<v Speaker 1>elevated on your table for everybody just said eyes and.
<v Speaker 2>It would strip the grease like it was the bottom
<v Speaker 2>of that pan would just be so.
<v Speaker 3>Full of grease, Katie.
<v Speaker 2>And then you'd lick your fingers and go back in
<v Speaker 2>there and play crews in USA.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, Yeah, that's those were the days. And I'm glad
<v Speaker 3>they're doing this again.
<v Speaker 2>They've done all sorts of focus groups and all this,
<v Speaker 2>and they're saying that the new pizza huts are just
<v Speaker 2>cold and stark, and they want that feel of the
<v Speaker 2>old school pizza hut. As a matter of fact, they're
<v Speaker 2>even resurrecting the boocket program.
<v Speaker 3>Remember book it.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, you had to read a book to eat a pizza.
<v Speaker 3>It was like multiple books or something, wasn't it.
<v Speaker 2>They give you the little book mark, it was a bookmark,
<v Speaker 2>and then you check off and then you can go
<v Speaker 2>in and get a free Personal Life pizza.
<v Speaker 3>They're bringing the boocket program back. So this makes me
<v Speaker 3>so happy.
<v Speaker 4>One of my best friends growing up, he worked at
<v Speaker 4>a pizza hut, and so I would stay after hours.
<v Speaker 4>We would make wings and try all different kinds of sauces,
<v Speaker 4>and so we would make like the hot and spicy
<v Speaker 4>or the buffalo, or like sweet and spie, like so
<v Speaker 4>many different, you know, ways to conjure it up. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>it was so much fun. That's like the distinct memory
<v Speaker 4>that I have of sitting in a pizza hut after hours.
<v Speaker 3>It was the hopefully they've up their health code violation game.
<v Speaker 2>Then Yeah, teenagers in the back making chicken wings to go.
