<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katy and Josh.
<v Speaker 2>We got to normalize these three day weekends.
<v Speaker 3>I think, Oh, I did so much yesterday, did you
<v Speaker 3>so much?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, we need to normalize this. We got quite a
<v Speaker 4>bit done as well, and it was just nice to
<v Speaker 4>have that extra day to get everything accomplished. How do
<v Speaker 4>we make this happen?
<v Speaker 3>I don't know who have to We have to petition,
<v Speaker 3>if there's a letter we need to write to our
<v Speaker 3>congressmen or women. I'm down, though, I'm down to get
<v Speaker 3>it started. I feel so much better today than I
<v Speaker 3>usually do on Monday.
<v Speaker 4>Refreshed, I feel the same way. I just feel accomplished.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like I have a certain goal glow to
<v Speaker 2>me right now.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, like adulted like the best of them this weekend,
<v Speaker 3>Like I did so many. I cleaned my floors like scrub.
<v Speaker 4>Oh stop, this incredibly sexy.
<v Speaker 3>I just like if we had an extra day to
<v Speaker 3>do stuff, I could do all the fun stuff on
<v Speaker 3>the other two days Cinderella, and then Monday could be
<v Speaker 3>totally dedicated to.
<v Speaker 4>Getting my life in order. Yeah, you know, like it
<v Speaker 4>was such a good, good weekend. Yeah, pretty solid. Josh,
<v Speaker 4>tell us about that Star Wars event you were at it?
<v Speaker 5>Was one of the sweetest things I've ever experienced. So
<v Speaker 5>on Friday night, I dressed up, gotten my nice clothes
<v Speaker 5>and took the GF down to Becher Hall and we
<v Speaker 5>saw a Star Wars symphony with the Colorado Symphony and
<v Speaker 5>it was unreal like the amount of Star Wars fans there,
<v Speaker 5>the amount of people that were just there because they
<v Speaker 5>like the actual series of movies. One of the coolest
<v Speaker 5>things I've ever experienced. Not only right when you walk
<v Speaker 5>in are you greeted by stormtroopers, which was right awesome,
<v Speaker 5>but you also got the opportunity to take pictures with
<v Speaker 5>like R two D two, Boba Fett, many other characters
<v Speaker 5>of this Star Wars galaxy. So we sit down in
<v Speaker 5>Becher Hall and what they essentially did was you watch
<v Speaker 5>the entire movie of Return of the Jedi, but there's
<v Speaker 5>no soundtrack to at all. They played the entire movie
<v Speaker 5>from start to finish. I had never seen anything like this. Usually,
<v Speaker 5>if you go to a symphony or concert, you know,
<v Speaker 5>they play for a little bit, do a nice little,
<v Speaker 5>you know, thirty minute intermission, and then come back and
<v Speaker 5>play some more. This was the entire soundtrack, So the
<v Speaker 5>entire movie that you were watching. Every sound thing that
<v Speaker 5>you heard other than the actual dialogue was what they
<v Speaker 5>were playing. The director directed for two and a half hours.
<v Speaker 5>I was like, I've never seen his Like, I was
<v Speaker 5>almost distracted by that. Like for the entire two and
<v Speaker 5>a half hours of the movie, I was distracted by
<v Speaker 5>thinking of.
<v Speaker 6>This guy's got to be exhausted. This is jacked. You
<v Speaker 6>know what. I couldn't tell he was in Star Wars robes.
<v Speaker 5>He was in Jedi clothes, So I was like, okay,
<v Speaker 5>first of all, major yeah, major problems. He was doing
<v Speaker 5>both arms, Katie. This guy was going at it for interact.
<v Speaker 5>It was so funny because at the end of the
<v Speaker 5>entire symphony, he has like I didn't even know notices,
<v Speaker 5>has like his bath towel and he dabbed his whole
<v Speaker 5>head in his face and I was.
<v Speaker 6>Like, this guy's probably drenched in sweat.
<v Speaker 4>I don't think of that.
<v Speaker 6>It was.
<v Speaker 4>Were cute.
<v Speaker 2>So you went with Princess Pilot.
<v Speaker 6>I did.
<v Speaker 5>And we all know I'm a Star Wars nerd and
<v Speaker 5>my birthday is coming up, and so this was the
<v Speaker 5>only weekend that they were able to do it, so
<v Speaker 5>it was a little bit of an early birthday present.
<v Speaker 5>But it was so sweet of her. She knows I'm
<v Speaker 5>a star wars nerd. I had the time of my life.
<v Speaker 5>We went on beforehand.
<v Speaker 6>Well we dressed yeah, we dressed up like nicely. We
<v Speaker 6>didn't dress up and.
<v Speaker 4>Like didn't wear like costumes. He looks fabulous.
<v Speaker 5>So you think symphony, you need to dress up and
<v Speaker 5>kind of wear like the nicer clothes.
<v Speaker 6>Uh.
<v Speaker 5>We were probably the nicest dressed couple there. That being said,
<v Speaker 5>I mean everybody brought like their kids to this, which
<v Speaker 5>I thought was really cool. First of all, you're bringing
<v Speaker 5>your kids to a symphony and they get to hear
<v Speaker 5>really good music. But on top of that, like they
<v Speaker 5>were dressed up as the Luke and the LEAs and
<v Speaker 5>the dots Vaders, and I love that.
<v Speaker 6>It made me a lot of jahwas, yeah, you can
<v Speaker 6>actually meet a Jawa. It was cool.
<v Speaker 5>But I like that they brought their kids. And on
<v Speaker 5>top of that, I wanted to go home and change
<v Speaker 5>into my Jedi clothes.
<v Speaker 6>I was like, oh, I.
<v Speaker 4>Can't wait to go home and change into my stormtrooper out.
<v Speaker 4>I wanted to bring my light capers short to be
<v Speaker 4>a stormtrooper. Right. Alright, guys, it's time for your mixed
<v Speaker 4>one hundred sports report really quick. This story out this
<v Speaker 4>morning talking about pickleball courts across the Denver metro continuing
<v Speaker 4>to see record demand, with the parks departments reportedly struggling
<v Speaker 4>to keep up with the requests for more court space.
<v Speaker 5>Uh.
<v Speaker 4>Neighborhoods also are fighting with the city because of noise
<v Speaker 4>complaints coming from the pickleball that has become so extremely popular.
<v Speaker 4>It's definitely moved from a retirement hobby to a full culture.
<v Speaker 2>Worll takeover. Yeah, well, everybody's playing it.
<v Speaker 3>What's I think upsetting to a lot of people who
<v Speaker 3>have been outside, who've been playing outside, is it is
<v Speaker 3>taking over the outdoor hockey rinks. A lot of basketball
<v Speaker 3>courts are being taken over by pickleball courts, and I
<v Speaker 3>think that that is where the frustration lies. Is it's like,
<v Speaker 3>find your own court, homie, you ain't got to take ours,
<v Speaker 3>you know.
<v Speaker 4>And it's not just the elderly out there trying to
<v Speaker 4>get some exercise. They say it's for full on young professionals. Yeah, couples, families,
<v Speaker 4>and entire friend groups that are organizing these pickleball leagues. Uh,
<v Speaker 4>in their training like they're gonna play it in the Olympics.
<v Speaker 4>I know your daughter's doing it right, and.
<v Speaker 3>It's a little easier to do than like full on
<v Speaker 3>tennis or you know, something like that. So I can
<v Speaker 3>see why just standing well, not everybody like and it
<v Speaker 3>is fun to do. But I think that, yeah, there
<v Speaker 3>just needs to be a little bit of you know,
<v Speaker 3>like let's get uh some kind of rules them regulations
<v Speaker 3>when it comes to what we should pickleballs. Balls are
<v Speaker 3>the pickles are a columns.
<v Speaker 4>The pickles areis a pis are the smart dog pis
<v Speaker 4>are over there? Pickles are Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>I do think maybe some rules and regulations can help.
<v Speaker 3>But I understand it's a fun thing to play.
<v Speaker 4>It really is, you know it is I get it.
<v Speaker 4>From pickleball to the Boulder Boulder Josh.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, over the weekend, actually yesterday the largest event happening
<v Speaker 5>in Boulder Boulder, as over one hundred and thirty thousand
<v Speaker 5>people strolled, ran, walked, crawled their way up there for
<v Speaker 5>the massive Boulder Boulder ten K. Fifty three thousand participants
<v Speaker 5>and then eighty thousand spectators excuse me made their way
<v Speaker 5>up there for the annual Boulder Boulder Race. And I
<v Speaker 5>love looking at the times for the international pros that
<v Speaker 5>are the ones that come from all over the world
<v Speaker 5>and they want to finish this race as fast as possible.
<v Speaker 4>I love off the air. Josh was reading the times.
<v Speaker 4>He's like, oh my god, they finished this in ten minutes.
<v Speaker 6>I was like, how did he do this so quick?
<v Speaker 4>Mile?
<v Speaker 6>Like, this guy's freaking driving. What is going on?
<v Speaker 4>No?
<v Speaker 5>So Patrick kiptoo kid prop I hope I'm pronouncing it correctly.
<v Speaker 5>He was the first overall finisher with twenty eight to
<v Speaker 5>thirty five, which is still under a half hour. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>running six miles ish. That is unbelievable. Sprint man, You're
<v Speaker 5>literally sprinting for six straight mile. I can't imagine doing that.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, Katie, you're you're the runner here and you
<v Speaker 5>like to run all the time. How what's your fastest mile?
<v Speaker 3>I'm like eleven minutes and thirty seconds on my mile,
<v Speaker 3>So I'm not.
<v Speaker 6>That's I am.
<v Speaker 4>Oh my god, the grass like a whole song. I
<v Speaker 4>gotta catch my breath. I'm not kidding.
<v Speaker 3>So I am just so impressed with people who can
<v Speaker 3>do this Boulder Boulder.
<v Speaker 5>Oh yeah, And it's one of those things there's the
<v Speaker 5>international the pros. But then there's also just the normies
<v Speaker 5>us out there, and they can walk it or run
<v Speaker 5>it or stop it every beer station on the way there.
<v Speaker 4>So we were watching some of the coverage on the TV,
<v Speaker 4>and you know, they had everybody lining.
<v Speaker 2>Up there at the starting line, starting gate or whatever
<v Speaker 2>you call it.
<v Speaker 4>Nichol's like, we got to get back up there, just
<v Speaker 4>take the kids and go do this. And then they
<v Speaker 4>just hid go and there was you know, thousands of
<v Speaker 4>people running and I looked at her. I was like,
<v Speaker 4>I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but I
<v Speaker 4>was like, there's no chance in hell, yeah that I'm
<v Speaker 4>gonna go up there. This looks horrible. Yeah. I was like,
<v Speaker 4>look at this crowd right now. Everybody's probably in their twenties.
<v Speaker 4>She's like, well, there's one bald guy. I was like,
<v Speaker 4>there's one guy on the screen out of about forty
<v Speaker 4>five hundred people that they're showing. Yeah, every one of
<v Speaker 4>them's in their twenties. I go, I'm not doing this. Well,
<v Speaker 4>I'm not gonna go do this. I'm like, look at
<v Speaker 4>the crowds, look at the ages of everybody.
<v Speaker 2>And I'll go. Now try to go find a porta
<v Speaker 2>potty in that mess.
<v Speaker 3>I know, but you screw there are ages the.
<v Speaker 4>Whole wo she told me the different ways here is
<v Speaker 4>well and.
<v Speaker 3>Even that, like I saw there's like someone in their
<v Speaker 3>nineties who's computing in a Boulder, Boulder every year since
<v Speaker 3>she was like, you know whatever, So there is an
<v Speaker 3>entire range of people.
<v Speaker 4>It's not for me. Yeah, I go into full dad mode.
<v Speaker 4>I'm like, look at that crowd. Yeah, look at where
<v Speaker 4>all the porta potties are? You know there's not enough? Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>and parking.
<v Speaker 3>Also, like people when they're doing that, everyone's in their
<v Speaker 3>own little world. So imagine sixty thousand people running in
<v Speaker 3>their own little world.
<v Speaker 6>Walk it out again.
<v Speaker 2>I would be a Debbie Downer.
<v Speaker 6>I get it. I get the appeal.
<v Speaker 4>I get the excitement to say you did it, and
<v Speaker 4>to say you did it.
<v Speaker 2>She's done it.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, that's pretty cool.
<v Speaker 4>She ran in, she got her beer and her hot
<v Speaker 4>dog and all that crap. But for me, I'm like,
<v Speaker 4>let's go walk Park Meadows speed. That's more my speed.
<v Speaker 4>I think I didn't watch a second of this this weekend,
<v Speaker 4>but people are talking about it online. The American Music Awards,
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, I guess Billy Idol came out at the
<v Speaker 4>end of it and just blew the roof off the place. Unfortunately,
<v Speaker 4>viewers had to wait about three hours to Billy. But
<v Speaker 4>the good news is this morning you can find all
<v Speaker 4>the recaps on the Socials. Anyway, he accepted a Lifetime
<v Speaker 4>Achievement award and closed out the show with two songs,
<v Speaker 4>eyes without a Face and dancing with myself, and the
<v Speaker 4>crowd was just on their feet, moving like crazy.
<v Speaker 2>No question, dude still has it.
<v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, still, I love that for him. So I
<v Speaker 3>got to interview him long ago. I got to go
<v Speaker 3>backstage at Red Rocks and talk to him in like
<v Speaker 3>the most iconic place, insane.
<v Speaker 4>But he was such a down to earth guy for me.
<v Speaker 3>In the level of rock star that he is and
<v Speaker 3>the things that he's seen and done, he still just
<v Speaker 3>like looked at me the entire time we talked.
<v Speaker 4>A lot of artists like, you.
<v Speaker 3>Know, they're busy, they got other things going on, they're
<v Speaker 3>not really paying attention to you. But I swear he
<v Speaker 3>and I were the only two connects on the entire
<v Speaker 3>point moment, and there are two other people in the
<v Speaker 3>room with us, and he's still like I felt like
<v Speaker 3>he and I were one.
<v Speaker 4>So yeah, That's what I said.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, I loved you in the Wedding's greatest movie.
<v Speaker 4>Appealed to a whole new generation because of that. So
<v Speaker 4>good on Billy Idol, we're making waste. Oh what else happened?
<v Speaker 4>Mean it was Billy Idol and then nineteen ninety eight exploded.
<v Speaker 4>Hoody and the Blowfish were there, new kids on the block,
<v Speaker 4>the Pussycat Dolls. I saw that. What the what is
<v Speaker 4>going on? What's that nostalgia thing I think going on
<v Speaker 4>in the retro feeld? So maybe that's why they did it.
<v Speaker 4>Keith Urban was there and did a version of Seals
<v Speaker 4>and Cross classic Summer Breeze. That's going back to the seventies.
<v Speaker 4>Oh anyway, Bieber was there one Best Male Pop Artist,
<v Speaker 4>Sabrina one Best Female Pop Artist. I love that And
<v Speaker 4>oh I know parents everywhere loved this song Golden from
<v Speaker 4>the K Pop demon Hunters one song of the Year.
<v Speaker 4>It bad?
<v Speaker 6>Did it better?
<v Speaker 7>Better?
<v Speaker 4>Much?
<v Speaker 6>Play it more?
<v Speaker 4>This weekend, the Mandalorian and Grogu won the box office
<v Speaker 4>with a solid hundred million. But even though it made
<v Speaker 4>that much, the critics and the Star Wars franchise people,
<v Speaker 4>the Disney people are saying it's basically a flop. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>everyone hates it.
<v Speaker 6>I saw it.
<v Speaker 4>I liked it. I still end up being the worst
<v Speaker 4>opening for a Star Wars movie in the Disney era.
<v Speaker 4>I was reading an entire thing about this this weekend,
<v Speaker 4>and they are just really pointing to fan fatigue with
<v Speaker 4>Star Wars, like everybody's.
<v Speaker 2>Just kind of burnout on it.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, and everything that they're releasing is just kind of
<v Speaker 4>whole hum like they're just throwing scrap out.
<v Speaker 6>You know, throw slop. What's a bummer about that is?
<v Speaker 5>I remember watching some behind the scenes footage from the
<v Speaker 5>old Star Wars, like the Lucas days, the George Lucas days,
<v Speaker 5>and they would train and work on things for years
<v Speaker 5>leading up to actual filming. Now it just feels like
<v Speaker 5>they throw it out every three weeks, you know, they
<v Speaker 5>throw out much Star Wars.
<v Speaker 6>And you're right, and I look, I'm like the number
<v Speaker 6>one fan of Star Wars. But it is fatigue. You're
<v Speaker 6>spot on there.
<v Speaker 4>M Oh, then I get to play this for you, Yes,
<v Speaker 4>talk about nostalgia. General Mills is bringing Saved by the
<v Speaker 4>Bell characters from the halls of Bayside.
<v Speaker 6>High to the Cereal Aisle.
<v Speaker 4>They're going to be throwing the characters up on Cinnamon
<v Speaker 4>Toa's Crunch, Cheerios, Lucky Charms. The list goes on and
<v Speaker 4>on with Zach Morris, Kelly Kapowski, Slater, Jesse, Ah Screeches
<v Speaker 4>not on my list. I don't know there was that
<v Speaker 4>whole adult film industry, get it.
<v Speaker 5>But.
<v Speaker 4>That franchise. You can't just forget it research. I hope
<v Speaker 4>Screeches on there.
<v Speaker 6>Anyway.
<v Speaker 4>They're really pushing the box tops for education. Remember that
<v Speaker 4>they've been doing that for like thirty years where you
<v Speaker 4>could mail in the box tops of these cereal boxes
<v Speaker 4>and General Mills would donate to schools, Like over the
<v Speaker 4>past thirty years, I think they've done something like one
<v Speaker 4>billion dollars for schools. And this is just kind of
<v Speaker 4>a re energizing of that program. And they're throwing all
<v Speaker 4>this Saved by the Bell characters on it because I
<v Speaker 4>mean that oo's his school, right.
<v Speaker 3>Remember I had ziplock bags full of those box tops,
<v Speaker 3>like so many box times.
<v Speaker 4>I remember doing that.
<v Speaker 3>You go to a teacher, I go to my grandma's
<v Speaker 3>house and get her.
<v Speaker 6>Box We did that too.
<v Speaker 4>She saved the box tops for us.
<v Speaker 2>Went to Katie's Grandma's house.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, she's a big fan of Josh. I'm excited about
<v Speaker 4>that more Kelly Kapowski.
<v Speaker 6>Yes local.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, remember when we talked about that car parking garage
<v Speaker 3>that you know it was it sunk in Remember back
<v Speaker 3>in like March, this happened. So that parking garage collapse
<v Speaker 3>down in the downtown area.
<v Speaker 4>There are still cars in there from that I know.
<v Speaker 3>So the parking garage owner says it's unsafe to remove
<v Speaker 3>the cars that are close to where the actual garage collapsed.
<v Speaker 3>So that's why some of them are still there. But
<v Speaker 3>the people who own their car are kind of out
<v Speaker 3>of luck at the moment. So a woman named Michelle,
<v Speaker 3>she was the source of this story, but she is
<v Speaker 3>dealing with that reality. And she says her Lexus is
<v Speaker 3>one of the cars that are stuck in this parking garage.
<v Speaker 3>And she says she still has to make her car payment,
<v Speaker 3>well it's up there since March, still paying for insurance,
<v Speaker 3>and she has to pay for a rental car. Here's
<v Speaker 3>the thing, the person who owns that parking garage is
<v Speaker 3>out of Florida and.
<v Speaker 4>They're not helping people a whole lot.
<v Speaker 3>So she says she's got emails and phone calls into
<v Speaker 3>this parking garage owner to try and do something with
<v Speaker 3>her car. She's not getting any kind of communication back
<v Speaker 3>and forth.
<v Speaker 2>That's gonna be so frustrated.
<v Speaker 4>No, could you imagine? I don't want to imagine. And
<v Speaker 4>she says she's.
<v Speaker 3>Arm exactly even with her own insurance, Like she's not,
<v Speaker 3>because they're trying to deal with the company's insurance.
<v Speaker 4>Obviously, it's like this is just not safe to go
<v Speaker 4>back in there and get these cars. So they're trying
<v Speaker 4>to figure out how to get them out. Yes, but
<v Speaker 4>in the meantime without it, the whole place collapsing.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, but this person who does not have a close
<v Speaker 3>car and she doesn't even know her insurance, can't move
<v Speaker 3>forward without the purchase the car owns the parking garage. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>so they're like, we're not gonna pay for a car
<v Speaker 3>if it's not totaled out, and the parking garage owners like, well,
<v Speaker 3>I'm not gonna do anything until my insurance. So it
<v Speaker 3>is such a cluster. We feel for the people dealing
<v Speaker 3>with it. But yeah, that's the latest as far as
<v Speaker 3>that one. And then a good story because yelps elite
<v Speaker 3>top one hundred barbecue in the US A list.
<v Speaker 4>Can you got me? Yes?
<v Speaker 3>So we do have a spot in Colorado that made
<v Speaker 3>the top twenty five. Avery Barbecue in Boulder was the
<v Speaker 3>highest on the list.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know if.
<v Speaker 6>You're going to try it. I haven't had it.
<v Speaker 3>I love barbecue, so as soon as I saw that one,
<v Speaker 3>I also was like, yes, please, we have a few
<v Speaker 3>closer to home to further down the.
<v Speaker 2>List, Avery Brewing.
<v Speaker 4>Have you with the beer? Okay? Yeah, I had that.
<v Speaker 4>Oh my god, if I scroll back on my Instagram,
<v Speaker 4>there's probably a picture of it. Okay, I have had
<v Speaker 4>that barbecue sandwich with the fries. That's a solid sandwich. Okay,
<v Speaker 4>So you agree that place is a must. If you're
<v Speaker 4>up in Boulder, go to the Avery Brewing Company and
<v Speaker 4>get yourself a cold one and some of their barbecue.
<v Speaker 4>They got the smokers outside and everything so you can
<v Speaker 4>smell it as you're walking up. Yeah, that place is money.
<v Speaker 3>Well, YELP agreed. YELP readers will agree with you there.
<v Speaker 3>So that is number twenty five on the list. We
<v Speaker 3>have further down Uncle Henry in Denver. Uncle Henry that's
<v Speaker 3>ranked at number forty. And then we also have scooters
<v Speaker 3>smokehouse barbecue scooter.
<v Speaker 4>Coming in at number ninety seven. So did everyone just
<v Speaker 4>visualize a dog dragging their butt across the carpet. That's
<v Speaker 4>the only thing I think I would you say, scooter,
<v Speaker 4>really get a barbecue? Okay, my mine's elsewhere. Sorry, scooter.
<v Speaker 3>In case you're wondering, number one on that list, tell
<v Speaker 3>me all the way in Phoenix, Arizona.
<v Speaker 4>Well, miss Barbecue. The name of that go to Avery
<v Speaker 4>in case you want to check it out.
<v Speaker 3>But room time for one more, Give me one more quick.
<v Speaker 3>One quick one is the shuttle from Denver to Red
<v Speaker 3>Rocks that started up this past weekend. So there's a
<v Speaker 3>couple of them. West Tracks is the free and that
<v Speaker 3>gets you from the Jefferson County Government Center all the
<v Speaker 3>way to Red Rocks. And then you have another one
<v Speaker 3>that is a paid one, the Discover Denver Tours. That's
<v Speaker 3>a Red Rock shuttle, a two hour round trip from
<v Speaker 3>Union Station to Red Rocks. And that's geared more towards
<v Speaker 3>tourists and couples who just want a quick trip to
<v Speaker 3>see Red Rocks before coming back to the city. But again,
<v Speaker 3>that one is gonna cost you money. Where West Tracks
<v Speaker 3>is the free service they're offering, and both of those
<v Speaker 3>just kicked off this last weekend. There you go ride
<v Speaker 3>the shuttle this summer.
<v Speaker 4>There's my hig Hype Jair, thank you, Katy, Jerry.
<v Speaker 1>Katy and Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Speaking of the three day weekend, I was doing a
<v Speaker 4>lot of wholesome things with my family and Katie came
<v Speaker 4>in this morning. She's like, I went to Naughty Bingo
<v Speaker 4>some adult toys I did. We actually won this time,
<v Speaker 4>and I was so excited.
<v Speaker 6>Did you get it?
<v Speaker 4>I love hanging out.
<v Speaker 3>So my friend Amy, she's like one of my besties,
<v Speaker 3>and it's like he's one of those people that we
<v Speaker 3>could just hang out the whole day and I could
<v Speaker 3>hang out the whole next day with her and the
<v Speaker 3>next day.
<v Speaker 4>She's just so much fun. So we went and stuffed our.
<v Speaker 3>Face full of dumplings and noodles, and then we went
<v Speaker 3>to Naughty Bengo and that place is just so much
<v Speaker 3>fun because it's just like regular bingo, but they have
<v Speaker 3>adult themes, right, Like the bingos that you get are
<v Speaker 3>not just straight across across or blackout. There's a little
<v Speaker 3>bit more involved with it. So it is so much fun.
<v Speaker 3>And we do it, you know, a couple times a month.
<v Speaker 3>It's every Saturday. So we try and go as much
<v Speaker 3>as we can. But this time, this time kind of
<v Speaker 3>threw a wrench in our game plan because we get
<v Speaker 3>to the Naughty Bingo thing and immediately I walk in
<v Speaker 3>and I.
<v Speaker 4>See somebody that I don't care for.
<v Speaker 3>Oh no, right, like somebody who I've known for many,
<v Speaker 3>many many years.
<v Speaker 4>I wasn't there. No, but and it hates a strong word.
<v Speaker 3>I don't really hate anybody, but I just like, you know,
<v Speaker 3>you just want them to ve, You just want them
<v Speaker 3>to do even that you just don't see eye to
<v Speaker 3>eye with this is that what it is? Right?
<v Speaker 4>And so you see them, you make eye contact with them,
<v Speaker 4>you know that they see you.
<v Speaker 3>And then immediately I'm like, oh, I'm gonna do you do?
<v Speaker 4>I know, like, what do you do?
<v Speaker 3>Do? I have to go say hi to them because
<v Speaker 3>it's like clearly I know them and they know me,
<v Speaker 3>and there's history. But I just like I was kind
<v Speaker 3>of caught off guard a little bit because it was
<v Speaker 3>also my brain trying to compute what are they doing
<v Speaker 3>in my place?
<v Speaker 4>Right? Like two words colliding? Only I exactly, only I
<v Speaker 4>could do this, so it like struck me off guard
<v Speaker 4>just a little bit. But then I started to think.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, if I go say hi now when
<v Speaker 3>everything's just going on, that means I have to say hi.
<v Speaker 4>The whole time, you know what I mean. Then I'm
<v Speaker 4>just like.
<v Speaker 3>Obligated to be friendly to him the whole time, whereas
<v Speaker 3>if I wait to just say goodbye, well.
<v Speaker 4>Then it's just goodbye and then you can run out, Yeah, salutations,
<v Speaker 4>that's it. I'm out, you know.
<v Speaker 3>And so and I also thought, I was like, well,
<v Speaker 3>this is risk because if he comes up and says
<v Speaker 3>hi to me, then I'm the bad person, right then
<v Speaker 3>he's the better person because he said it high. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>So I was really contemplating, but I stuck to my guns.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, I'm not going to say hi. And
<v Speaker 3>then while I was leaving, I did end up saying hi.
<v Speaker 3>And it was awkward because he was just like, so.
<v Speaker 4>Do you win anything? Is that's something I want him
<v Speaker 4>to know?
<v Speaker 6>You know? Right?
<v Speaker 8>Right?
<v Speaker 4>You think about that?
<v Speaker 6>So would you way?
<v Speaker 4>Exactly? He's making eye.
<v Speaker 3>Naughty toys, that not a big walking out with the
<v Speaker 3>biggest bag there. I was just like, So that was
<v Speaker 3>awkward in itself, but it lasted all of ten seconds,
<v Speaker 3>So that was way better than I think saying hi
<v Speaker 3>and then having the whole time just being awkward because
<v Speaker 3>they know I'm there, right, But I think.
<v Speaker 4>I would have I like making things awkward though, I
<v Speaker 4>know you feel like I would have gone all in
<v Speaker 4>and just gone right up in the beginning. Yeah, hey,
<v Speaker 4>old Zoe, and.
<v Speaker 6>So we don't let anybody in here.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you know, and it's funny, that is the way.
<v Speaker 3>Like, those were the two routes I was contemplating.
<v Speaker 4>Would want to make it weird?
<v Speaker 7>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>Am I gonna make it weird? Or am I just
<v Speaker 3>gonna ignore him until the very end?
<v Speaker 4>Especially at that event. I know it's not like, you know,
<v Speaker 4>a wholesome like wedding or a funeral, like I would
<v Speaker 4>have made it.
<v Speaker 2>Let's like, let's start the night off by making it weird.
<v Speaker 4>Well, it's funny.
<v Speaker 3>Because they leave like little party favors on the table,
<v Speaker 3>and I was like about just like throwing him at him. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>make it fun and lighthearted, and then I'd say Hi.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, maybe that's my end for the situation. But
<v Speaker 3>the party favors in themselves. I don't know if you
<v Speaker 3>want those flying at your face.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you know that one time in college, you know,
<v Speaker 2>oh God.
<v Speaker 4>Over the weekend we made our way down to beautiful Golden.
<v Speaker 4>Absolutely adore that little town.
<v Speaker 1>Man.
<v Speaker 4>I love Golden so damn much. We did that little
<v Speaker 4>clear Creek trail that goes right along the river there.
<v Speaker 4>I don't even know it goes fifteen miles or something nutty,
<v Speaker 4>but next to the brewery and everything, all that, the
<v Speaker 4>businesses and the hotel. We just went and walked around
<v Speaker 4>for a couple hours down there. Absolutely fantastic. The cyclists
<v Speaker 4>were out in numbers. Good lord, Yeah, and y'all like
<v Speaker 4>yelling at the walkers. I'll tell you that much. He's
<v Speaker 4>laught on your left on the laft. I appreciate them
<v Speaker 4>letting me know.
<v Speaker 1>I do too.
<v Speaker 3>And I mean, but sometimes you're like, how much farther
<v Speaker 3>can I get over you?
<v Speaker 4>I am more in the grass, I was in the
<v Speaker 4>river at one point.
<v Speaker 3>Just what I'm saying, They can't go any more over
<v Speaker 3>on the left.
<v Speaker 4>So we did that, and then we went to a
<v Speaker 4>little place down there for lunch. They had this burger
<v Speaker 4>special where you order a burger and you get any
<v Speaker 4>beer for a dollar with the burger.
<v Speaker 6>And I was like Hills to the s.
<v Speaker 9>Yes.
<v Speaker 4>Special. So I got a corpse light, which I feel
<v Speaker 4>like you have to get a course when you're down
<v Speaker 4>and go too it's straight out to tap. Yeah, you know,
<v Speaker 4>so I did that.
<v Speaker 2>That was really nice.
<v Speaker 4>Now here's the thing. While we were sitting at this restaurant,
<v Speaker 4>a party of probably god, twenty people came in and
<v Speaker 4>they took up the giant table there in the middle
<v Speaker 4>of the restaurant, and you know, they're having the time
<v Speaker 4>of their life and yucking it up. And one woman
<v Speaker 4>showed up towards the end. Well, everybody's already seated getting
<v Speaker 4>their drinks and everything, and they're like, little Karen, Karen's here,
<v Speaker 4>and about five or six people got up and ran
<v Speaker 4>over and hugged Karen. Now, out of those six people,
<v Speaker 4>at least four of them kissed Karen on the lips.
<v Speaker 4>Oh Karen gets around, what what the what?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>I was watching this go on.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, oh, well, she just kissed her on
<v Speaker 4>the lips. Oh, she's kissing that one. And then two
<v Speaker 4>guys came up killed. I was like, is this a
<v Speaker 4>swinger's party going on? Salutation kiss or like a long lingering?
<v Speaker 2>It was not long and lingering, but it was like
<v Speaker 2>like this, here go.
<v Speaker 4>But it was on the lips. I don't know if
<v Speaker 4>I like that straight on the lips for the people.
<v Speaker 4>And I feel like if more had gotten up, they'd
<v Speaker 4>be kissing her on the lips too. What is that
<v Speaker 4>all about. I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I have people that, you know, in my small town
<v Speaker 3>I'm from, they do that when I go back, like
<v Speaker 3>they're the lip kisser people, and I will go out
<v Speaker 3>of my way to give him my cheek, like yeah,
<v Speaker 3>thank you. Don't kiss me on the lips, like here's
<v Speaker 3>my face. That can get awkward because they can get
<v Speaker 3>your ear or your chin. Yeah, not my face, not
<v Speaker 3>my lips, because that is weird.
<v Speaker 4>My grandpa may he Rest was always the lip kisser.
<v Speaker 4>You know, in his older years he had old people lips,
<v Speaker 4>so you know he'd have like crumbs on there.
<v Speaker 2>He'd be coming at you and he'd.
<v Speaker 4>Give you not on me, but mostly the ladies.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, no, no, no, I don't want to kiss No.
<v Speaker 4>But I don't know, maybe I'm a prude or something,
<v Speaker 4>but I don't go around when I'm out with a
<v Speaker 4>group of friends and start kissing them on the lips.
<v Speaker 4>I won't even kiss my kids on the lips is
<v Speaker 4>uncomfortable for me.
<v Speaker 3>And I see parents that do it and it's obviously
<v Speaker 3>normal in their family and it's fine. But I'm with you.
<v Speaker 3>I never maybe not, I never kissed her on the lips,
<v Speaker 3>like so affectionate towards that child, but never, never on
<v Speaker 3>the lip.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's definitely. Here's my thought process on it, though, is.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like it is the older crowd, right, and
<v Speaker 3>you get to a certain point where you're probably not
<v Speaker 3>getting a whole lot of action.
<v Speaker 4>Maybe you just like the European but they were definitely
<v Speaker 4>not European. They were not a lot of camouflage, and.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe there's just a certain point where you're like everybody's I.
<v Speaker 4>Would say that they were probably like your age really
<v Speaker 4>probably really within that bubble, yeah, within you know, it's
<v Speaker 4>not the older generation, not not. Now you saw what
<v Speaker 4>it was as I was sipping my Core's Light and
<v Speaker 4>Nicole said too, and it was just one of those
<v Speaker 4>things where I'm sipping it in my mouth is like
<v Speaker 4>on the on the my glass, and all I kept
<v Speaker 4>doing it was going huh uh huh. And then by
<v Speaker 4>the fourth one different. They really like Cardens, like the
<v Speaker 4>life of the party.
<v Speaker 6>She really did want to kiss.

<v Speaker 1>Jerry katy And josh six one.
<v Speaker 4>Hundred here's What tessa had to. SAY a few months,
<v Speaker 4>ago my best friend AND i decided to get matching
<v Speaker 4>tattoos together as kind of a friendship loyalty. Thing, honestly
<v Speaker 4>it was mostly her idea in the, beginning and she
<v Speaker 4>kept talking about how cool it would be to have
<v Speaker 4>something permanent that symbolized our friendship. Forever the plan was
<v Speaker 4>That i'd get half of a butterfly tattooed on the
<v Speaker 4>side of my, hand and she would get the other
<v Speaker 4>half on her, hand so when we put our hands.
<v Speaker 2>Together it would make one. Butterfly oh that's not tacky at.
<v Speaker 4>All that's. Beautiful that's so magical, girl right, there something
<v Speaker 4>that people would.
<v Speaker 2>Do we went together to the tattoo.
<v Speaker 4>SHOP i went, first but while they were tattooing, me
<v Speaker 4>she started getting really anxious and. Queazy she said that
<v Speaker 4>she felt sick and that she might pass, out and
<v Speaker 4>that she didn't think she could do it that day her.
<v Speaker 4>TATTOO i, understood AND i told her that we could
<v Speaker 4>always come back at another.
<v Speaker 2>Time well now it's been three, months you.
<v Speaker 4>Guys not only has she still not gotten the, tattoo
<v Speaker 4>but now she avoids talking about it. Completely And i'm
<v Speaker 4>getting more irritated because of this tattoo is right on
<v Speaker 4>my hand AND i can't hide. It it's embarrassing having to.
<v Speaker 4>Explain what makes me even more upset is that she's
<v Speaker 4>the one who originally pushed this whole. IDEA i probably
<v Speaker 4>would have never gotten a hand tattoo in the first
<v Speaker 4>place if we weren't just doing it. Together, oh she.
<v Speaker 2>Said i've talked to my.
<v Speaker 4>Friends they're. Split some say nobody should ever feel pressured
<v Speaker 4>into getting a tattoo they don't want and to let it.
<v Speaker 4>Go others think if she changed her, mind at least
<v Speaker 4>she owes me an honest. Conversation so NOW i need
<v Speaker 4>to Know AM i wrong for being upset that she backed?
<v Speaker 2>Out or DO i need to accept that she changed
<v Speaker 2>her mind and move?
<v Speaker 4>On she put or in all? Caps how DO i
<v Speaker 4>make her? Go get her damn? Friendship tatts? Right would
<v Speaker 4>love your. Thoughts that's From. Tessa if you want to
<v Speaker 4>sound off about. This oh, LORD i wish you. WOULD
<v Speaker 4>i know this is. Good you got THREE o three
<v Speaker 4>six nine, one sixteen forty. Nine tessa and her. Bestie
<v Speaker 4>should we give her bestie a? Name, Yeah, Jenessa, Tessa Jenessa, Tessa.
<v Speaker 4>Jenesa you, Guys tessa went, in got half the butterfly
<v Speaker 4>on her. Hand jenessa got sick and anxious and, SAID
<v Speaker 4>i can't do it. Now and now it's been three
<v Speaker 4>months and there's no friendship. Tattoo which is really classy ourse,
<v Speaker 4>tattoo isn't. It that's a classy.
<v Speaker 3>Take you can fly away. Together we would love to.
<v Speaker 4>Hear from, you.
<v Speaker 2>Guys sound off for show wants to know what Should
<v Speaker 2>tessa do about?
<v Speaker 4>This three oh three six nine one one mix three
<v Speaker 4>oh three six nine, one sixteen forty, Nine, katie what
<v Speaker 4>DO i feel? Like this is something you would have
<v Speaker 4>done In North dakota with? GOOD i have a friendship
<v Speaker 4>tattoo LIKE i, Do thank YOU i.
<v Speaker 3>Do it's the frog instead of the, monkeys but it's
<v Speaker 3>see no speak no, here no, evil but got.
<v Speaker 4>Frogs we got. Frogs did you do with two other? Friends?
<v Speaker 4>Yes which is? Yours so mine is the speak no?
<v Speaker 4>Evil ironically? Enough AND i talk for a.
<v Speaker 3>Living but, yeah So i've done the friendship. Tattoo thankfully
<v Speaker 3>they did their where's the?
<v Speaker 4>Frog it's on my? Ankle how HAVE i never seen?
<v Speaker 4>This put your foot up, there get that size twelve
<v Speaker 4>up there and let me take a look at. That
<v Speaker 4>it's a. Frog it's a. Frog it looks like it
<v Speaker 4>looks like a lily. Pad, honestly not. It it looks
<v Speaker 4>just like a cartoon. Frog. Different, Yeah i've been, There
<v Speaker 4>i've done, it so this is interesting to.
<v Speaker 6>Me at.
<v Speaker 4>Least she didn't back, out But tessa's Friend jenessa. Did
<v Speaker 4>tessa was gonna go with her best friend to get matching,
<v Speaker 4>tattoos and it was the best friend's.
<v Speaker 2>Idea we're calling Her. Genessa So tessa And, genessa.
<v Speaker 4>We're gonna go to the two shop and get butterflies
<v Speaker 4>half a butterfly on one hand and a half a
<v Speaker 4>butterfly on the other hand for the.
<v Speaker 2>Friend and then when they put them, together oh.
<v Speaker 4>My, god it's the whole. Butterfly we get a. Flyway
<v Speaker 4>sounds kind of, tacky but, uh you want to IT'S
<v Speaker 4>i don't wonder there's probably a lot of people out
<v Speaker 4>there like, that but, YES i got a friendship.
<v Speaker 3>Tattoo it's a little, Tacky, JOSH i did too, well
<v Speaker 3>at least you guys follow through with, it so That's
<v Speaker 3>janessa did.
<v Speaker 4>Not so what Should tessa do about? THIS u THREE
<v Speaker 4>o three six nine, one sixteen forty. NINE i will
<v Speaker 4>say we had a few people on the, line but
<v Speaker 4>we answered a few off the air, too and they
<v Speaker 4>had potty, mouths so we can't put that on the.
<v Speaker 4>Air so if you are clean spoken three three six
<v Speaker 4>nine one sixteen forty. NINE i did not want to
<v Speaker 4>take the risk with. Those but, Hi, pam welcome to.
<v Speaker 7>The, Show, hie thank you for having.
<v Speaker 4>Me well top of the, Morning, tulia what do you
<v Speaker 4>Think tesla should do about this tacky?
<v Speaker 7>TATTOO i, said first of, all thinks she should just
<v Speaker 7>get it removed and be mad at the.
<v Speaker 4>Friend, okay, well who's praying for?
<v Speaker 1>That?
<v Speaker 4>Though like to go to get it? Removed?
<v Speaker 7>NOW i don't know. It JUST i think hand tattoos
<v Speaker 7>are kind of, yeah you have to, explain you have
<v Speaker 7>to explain them, all you have to explain them all the.
<v Speaker 7>Time SO i just think she can be mad at
<v Speaker 7>the friend and Just i'd say get the darn thing.
<v Speaker 7>Removed that's my. Opinion most of the People.
<v Speaker 4>I'm seeing on the text line are saying that the
<v Speaker 4>friend is essentially just maybe ghosting her in. General now
<v Speaker 4>it's not about the tattoo. Anymore your friend is just
<v Speaker 4>slowly backing away from, you. Period SO i don't know
<v Speaker 4>if there's been a reconsideration on the friends, side if
<v Speaker 4>she wants to be friends With. Tessa the whole thing's
<v Speaker 4>a little. Weird the whole thing is a terrible idea
<v Speaker 4>to begin.
<v Speaker 3>With, WELL i mean, again if you're following, through it's
<v Speaker 3>not so bad because that's something that you can have
<v Speaker 3>for the rest of your friendship.
<v Speaker 4>Together you.
<v Speaker 3>KNOW i know a lot of friends who stayed friends
<v Speaker 3>and they have their.
<v Speaker 4>Tattoos you, know are they all in prison?
<v Speaker 6>Now?
<v Speaker 3>No, Stop, like it is not not completely uncommon thing to,
<v Speaker 3>do is WHAT i.
<v Speaker 4>Mean, YEAH a lot of people are, saying if she
<v Speaker 4>talked you into, it then, yeah she kind of owes.
<v Speaker 5>You.
<v Speaker 4>Uh and then a lot of people are, saying at this,
<v Speaker 4>point just go in and finish the butterfly another way
<v Speaker 4>and move on with your. Life.
<v Speaker 2>YEAH i don't know how they would do. That how
<v Speaker 2>would they do?
<v Speaker 3>That?
<v Speaker 4>Pam but the other half on the palm side or
<v Speaker 4>MAYBE i have no.
<v Speaker 7>IDEA i don't.
<v Speaker 3>Know but If tessa just gets the other half on
<v Speaker 3>her back of her, hand and then she's got the whole,
<v Speaker 3>butterfly and then she can just exactly just get it
<v Speaker 3>going by.
<v Speaker 4>Yourself she doesn't need nobody to.
<v Speaker 2>Tattoo that looks tacky and ridiculous when you're doing.
<v Speaker 1>That what do you?
<v Speaker 4>Mean it's my metamorphosis. Moment i'm Going i'm flying into the.
<v Speaker 4>Sky you get metamorphosis put on your back like you
<v Speaker 4>cross your, shoulder but it's spelled.
<v Speaker 2>Wrong, yeah that's. Hilarious, uh good, morning thank, You, Pam
<v Speaker 2>good morning.
<v Speaker 4>Mixed who's?
<v Speaker 6>This It's?
<v Speaker 9>Vanessa Hi.
<v Speaker 2>Vanessa what do you Think tesla should?
<v Speaker 5>Do?
<v Speaker 9>Vanessava so, HERE i just talpped in my. Mind do
<v Speaker 9>you REMEMBER i might be dating? Myself remember it's this
<v Speaker 9>sounds like a case For Judge wachner and The people's courtdone.
<v Speaker 2>Undone she is like like how how? Why?
<v Speaker 4>No you, Know she's, LIKE i could sue you because
<v Speaker 4>of this mal plaintiff coming in. Undone so, no but,
<v Speaker 4>really what Should tessa do about?
<v Speaker 1>This?
<v Speaker 4>Vanessa she.
<v Speaker 9>Can't, well here's the, deal, right obviously she can't do anything.
<v Speaker 9>Right messa's girl steps up and does the right thing
<v Speaker 9>and offers to like at least pay for. It what
<v Speaker 9>can you? Do she's she's up a. Creek, yeah up a.
<v Speaker 4>Creek, huh she can get a little creek tattooed on
<v Speaker 4>her other.
<v Speaker 9>Hand, yeah row boat or something where the butterfly lands
<v Speaker 9>on the. Rowboat you only need for.
<v Speaker 3>That, see that's you're, right thank you the box here.
<v Speaker 2>All, right, well thank you for you have a great day.
<v Speaker 4>Here, Okay SO i think the logical explanation on, this
<v Speaker 4>and multiple messages coming in they, said just get the
<v Speaker 4>other half of the butterfly on your other. Hand so
<v Speaker 4>the metamorphosis dot. Com that's it's going to be your, Logical,
<v Speaker 4>Yes tessa is give your friend the boot and then
<v Speaker 4>just get it on your other. HAND i, think, WELL
<v Speaker 4>i think maybe your next, tattoo you get it in
<v Speaker 4>a place where so you can.
<v Speaker 3>Hide it Wrap genessa go, First genessa, first or whatever
