<v Speaker 1>What is going on, guys? It is a Wednesday night.
<v Speaker 1>I am the Solemn Monster. Thank you for tuning in
<v Speaker 1>to the weekly Dynamite review. See, it was a very
<v Speaker 1>busy weekend and I knew it was going to catch
<v Speaker 1>up to me. I had a lot going on on
<v Speaker 1>Friday at the House of Glory show, and I had
<v Speaker 1>something to do on Saturday, and then we had the
<v Speaker 1>podcast on Sunday, and we had the pay per view
<v Speaker 1>and went to bed at four am on Monday. And
<v Speaker 1>so now I am sick. I knew this was going
<v Speaker 1>to happen. I knew this was going to happen. And
<v Speaker 1>tonight we had three hours of AW, but I wasn't
<v Speaker 1>sticking around until the end of hour three. But this
<v Speaker 1>was the post pay per view episode of Dynamite, and
<v Speaker 1>in the past AW tends to drop the ball when
<v Speaker 1>it comes to these post pay per view shows. They
<v Speaker 1>just end up not being very exciting. And so what
<v Speaker 1>Tony sometimes does is he'll, you know, love them up
<v Speaker 1>maybe with some big matches, and it looks very wrestling
<v Speaker 1>heavy and you can get some really good matches out
<v Speaker 1>of it, but you want to have a good mix.
<v Speaker 1>You want to have some good matches you want to
<v Speaker 1>have some exciting television, you want to have some storyline developments,
<v Speaker 1>and they just don't always do a good job of
<v Speaker 1>that coming out of these pay per views. This was
<v Speaker 1>not a bad episode. This was not like an offensively
<v Speaker 1>bad episode. It just wasn't very exciting. It wasn't the best,
<v Speaker 1>most exciting follow up to what I thought was the
<v Speaker 1>best pro wrestling pay per view or event period that
<v Speaker 1>I've seen of the entire year, and it was, to
<v Speaker 1>me anyway, pretty average fare. As far as Dynamite goes,
<v Speaker 1>we had Mark Davis and Jack Perry in the main event. Now, look,
<v Speaker 1>I like Mark Davis. I'm a Mark Davis fan, and
<v Speaker 1>so it's cool to see him getting all of this
<v Speaker 1>television time. Should he be wrestling Jack Perry in the
<v Speaker 1>main event of aw Dynamite. No, but that was our
<v Speaker 1>main event. Now, technically again, there was another hour of
<v Speaker 1>the show, but as far as Dynamite goes, that was
<v Speaker 1>the main event, and they ended up having what I
<v Speaker 1>thought was actually a really strong match. I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>enjoyed the match from a wrestling perspective. And Mark Davis
<v Speaker 1>is moving on to the next round. He's going to
<v Speaker 1>be stepping into the Ring with will Osprey, and then
<v Speaker 1>we had in the other men's owen Hart tournament match,
<v Speaker 1>we had Claudio Castagnoli against Brody King, which is a
<v Speaker 1>match that we've seen twice before in the C two.
<v Speaker 1>So this was effectively the rubber match here between these
<v Speaker 1>two men, and Brody King is moving on, which I
<v Speaker 1>think a lot of people probably figured he's moving on
<v Speaker 1>to wrestle Swer of Strickland that'll be taking place in
<v Speaker 1>the next round. I was more interested in two things.
<v Speaker 1>What would the follow up be with Kevin Knight coming
<v Speaker 1>out of what we saw at the end of the
<v Speaker 1>pay per view where he did a UFO splash to
<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen and were what would the follow up be
<v Speaker 1>with MJF who just won back the aw World Championship,
<v Speaker 1>And I was he's pretty unimpressed with what they did.
<v Speaker 1>In both cases here, we did get a Kevin Knight promo.
<v Speaker 1>We at least got an explanation for why he did
<v Speaker 1>what he did. It wasn't any sort of blowaway, big
<v Speaker 1>heel promo or anything like that, but we did get
<v Speaker 1>an explanation from him. With MJF, they actually lined up
<v Speaker 1>two challengers for him, and we already know what his
<v Speaker 1>first title defense is going to be. It's going to
<v Speaker 1>be taking place on Dynamite next week. And I may
<v Speaker 1>have a difference of opinion with people who think that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, he shouldn't be defending the championship. That doesn't
<v Speaker 1>bother me so much, just because if he's not on
<v Speaker 1>the show defending the championship, it makes it more likely that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, people will you know, complain about how nothing
<v Speaker 1>important ever happens on these shows or where's the excitement. Well,
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna have MJF defending the world championship and I
<v Speaker 1>can't argue with that. So he's going to be defending
<v Speaker 1>the title next week against Rouche, and Mark Briscoe showed
<v Speaker 1>up and he wants a piece of MJF as well. Now,
<v Speaker 1>storyline wise, it makes sense that you have somebody in
<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe who actually got a win on pay per
<v Speaker 1>view last year over MJF, and now MJF is once
<v Speaker 1>again the world champion. Mark Briscoe says, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>I have a win over you, and so I want
<v Speaker 1>a title match, right, Okay? Sure? Not the most exciting
<v Speaker 1>challengers to line up immediately coming out of this pay
<v Speaker 1>per view because they just haven't been built up enough,
<v Speaker 1>frankly for me to get terribly excited about it. Rush
<v Speaker 1>is a great wrestler, of course, he's a great wrestler.
<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe, Hey, I don't got anything against Mark Briscoe,
<v Speaker 1>but I can't sit here and tell you that these
<v Speaker 1>are the most exciting challengers that they have come up
<v Speaker 1>with for MJF. But look, I guess in their mind,
<v Speaker 1>they've got time to kill before they get to whoever
<v Speaker 1>that next big challenger is gonna be, Whether it's Forbidden
<v Speaker 1>Door or whenever that's going to be, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what they're doing it Forbidden Door. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>it's going to be the AW champion against the IWGP champion.
<v Speaker 1>I don't fucking know what they're gonna do. And they
<v Speaker 1>didn't give any indication to Night of what they're going
<v Speaker 1>to do either, But Forbidden Door still a month away.
<v Speaker 1>So that was the gist of Dynamite, A show that
<v Speaker 1>was kind of there. It wasn't any great shakes, but
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't sit here and call it a terrible show,
<v Speaker 1>believe me. I mean, there have been episodes of Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>that were so boring. I just can't get into anything
<v Speaker 1>that's going on. I wouldn't put this in that category,
<v Speaker 1>but you know, coming off the high of double or nothing,
<v Speaker 1>this sort of brought things down back to earth in
<v Speaker 1>a way that I wish there was a little more
<v Speaker 1>excitement on this show. But this is your aw dynamite review.
<v Speaker 1>It is May twenty seventh, twenty twenty six. And do
<v Speaker 1>you realize the significance of May twenty seventh, May twenty seventh,
<v Speaker 1>nineteen ninety six on this very day? How many years
<v Speaker 1>ago is that? Thirty years ago Scott Hall walked out
<v Speaker 1>on WCW Monday Night tro for the first time and
<v Speaker 1>say you want a war, you got it? And the
<v Speaker 1>nWo storyline kicked off thirty fucking years ago. This was
<v Speaker 1>no This was no nWo era episode of Nitro tonight.
<v Speaker 1>But that is a historical fact that I feel like
<v Speaker 1>I would have been out of place not mentioning that
<v Speaker 1>here thirty years I remember watching that live actually and
<v Speaker 1>just wondering to myself, what the fuck is going on here?
<v Speaker 1>But I guess that was the point, right to get
<v Speaker 1>people asking that very question, what the fuck is going
<v Speaker 1>on here? Is this real? Is this not real? Anyway?
<v Speaker 1>This is your Dynamite review. Thank you guys, those of
<v Speaker 1>you who are with me for hanging out again. We
<v Speaker 1>tend to look at Wednesdays as sort of the dead
<v Speaker 1>night because that's just the way it is, sadly, but
<v Speaker 1>those of you who are with me, you guys are
<v Speaker 1>the ogs and I appreciate it. So if you got
<v Speaker 1>a super chat to send in, by all means, go
<v Speaker 1>ahead and do so. It certainly helps me out, it
<v Speaker 1>helps the channel out. You got a question or a comment,
<v Speaker 1>I'll be reading them a little bit later on. Hit
<v Speaker 1>the like button as well. We're going to bring up
<v Speaker 1>the wheel. I don't know if we're going to be
<v Speaker 1>doing this tonight, but we spin the wheel here to
<v Speaker 1>see if we can do our be the Booker segment
<v Speaker 1>later on. You know, many of you are big, big
<v Speaker 1>fans of so let's find out here what the goal is.
<v Speaker 1>Huh oh, good luck with that. We need five hundred
<v Speaker 1>and fifteen likes to do be the Booker. We are
<v Speaker 1>at one seventy. Good luck. That's all I have to say.
<v Speaker 1>We look to SmackDown on Friday. Don't let me forget.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, I have to give you an update
<v Speaker 1>on Smackdan and when I'm going to be going live
<v Speaker 1>on Friday because they're in Barcelona, so we're heading into
<v Speaker 1>this international period where some of the streams are not
<v Speaker 1>going to be airing in their usual times. But they
<v Speaker 1>opened the show tonight with a segment backstage that was
<v Speaker 1>filmed at Double or Nothing on Sunday, and Rene caught
<v Speaker 1>up with will Ospray after his win over Samoa Joe.
<v Speaker 1>I got news on Samoa Jo by the way a
<v Speaker 1>little bit later on, but after his win over Samoa Joe,
<v Speaker 1>saying he was over the moon about moving on in
<v Speaker 1>the Owen Heart Tournament, and so on his way walking
<v Speaker 1>into the trainer's room, he walks into the room and
<v Speaker 1>who does he run into? He runs into Kenny Omega.
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega is in there. He's sitting there, He's got
<v Speaker 1>an ice pack on his neck. And this is the
<v Speaker 1>second time now that we have had a backstage segment
<v Speaker 1>a meeting of the minds here between Omega and Osprey.
<v Speaker 1>Hmm makes me wonder. So Omega wanted to address the
<v Speaker 1>elephant in the room, that being the death. He said,
<v Speaker 1>his worry is that Osprey can't trust them because they've
<v Speaker 1>hurt them both before, and he questions, why didn't you
<v Speaker 1>just come to me? Why'd you have to go to
<v Speaker 1>them for If you would have just come to me,
<v Speaker 1>I could have helped you out. And Osbury said, well,
<v Speaker 1>you're never around. Even though you say you feel better
<v Speaker 1>now than you felt in a long time, You're just
<v Speaker 1>never around. And Omega said, look, I can't be there
<v Speaker 1>every week, and Osbury said why. Kenny told him, you know,
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't recover the same way as he used to.
<v Speaker 1>He's not the same guy he used to be. Neither
<v Speaker 1>was Will and Omega also, he mentioned he had his
<v Speaker 1>shot at the World Championship previously and didn't work out.
<v Speaker 1>Omega said, look, I'm not telling you not to trust
<v Speaker 1>the death Riders. I'm just telling you to be careful,
<v Speaker 1>even though that sure sounds like he's telling him exactly
<v Speaker 1>that he's telling him not to trust these people. So
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley walks in and he says, that's good advice, said,
<v Speaker 1>we all have our skeletons, don't we, And he hands
<v Speaker 1>Osbury and ice pack. He tells him the truck is outside,
<v Speaker 1>and then he leaves. So Omega said, look, I'll always
<v Speaker 1>be there for you. And then Osprey told Omega don't
<v Speaker 1>give up on that world title and Omega said, you two.
<v Speaker 1>There is something about seeing Omega, Osprey and Moxley all
<v Speaker 1>together in like a backstage segment like this that I like,
<v Speaker 1>and I think we need to see more of these
<v Speaker 1>types of segments here with some of the bigger names.
<v Speaker 1>This was another good segment with these two, and it's
<v Speaker 1>the first time where I really I sat here as
<v Speaker 1>I'm watching them sitting next to each other and they're
<v Speaker 1>conversing and they're talking about the world title, and I'm thinking,
<v Speaker 1>holy shit, they're actually going to take the title off
<v Speaker 1>MJF before we even get to Wembley, and they may
<v Speaker 1>well go with Kenny Omega against Well Ospray. That may
<v Speaker 1>be our main event this year at all. In that's
<v Speaker 1>the impression I got from this. I didn't even feel
<v Speaker 1>that way after the first time they chatted backstage all
<v Speaker 1>those weeks ago, even though I guess that was the
<v Speaker 1>first seed that was being planted. I just don't see
<v Speaker 1>how anybody could watch this and come away from it
<v Speaker 1>thinking anything else that it feels like they're going to
<v Speaker 1>do another title change and instead of doing MJF Osprey
<v Speaker 1>again at Wembley, because we have seen it once before
<v Speaker 1>at Wembley. It wasn't for the world title that Tony
<v Speaker 1>really wants to do Omega and Osprey, which would still
<v Speaker 1>be a huge match, totally different dynamic because then it's
<v Speaker 1>two baby faces, two of the most popular babyfaces, if
<v Speaker 1>not the two most popular babyfaces in the entire company.
<v Speaker 1>But still a very different dynamic there. But you also
<v Speaker 1>have to think about this. They just announced a brand
<v Speaker 1>new pay per view and this was rumored for a while.
<v Speaker 1>They made it official the other day. I believe it's
<v Speaker 1>a Sunday, July twenty sixth there doing the first ever
<v Speaker 1>aw Redemption pay per view, and they're holding that pay
<v Speaker 1>per view I believe at the Bell Center in Montreal.
<v Speaker 1>So they're going to be in Canada. And now, remember
<v Speaker 1>when Kenny Omega had his title match a few months
<v Speaker 1>ago against MJF that was in Vancouver at Dynasty and
<v Speaker 1>he lost on that show, he failed to win the championship.
<v Speaker 1>And so now it just feels like the pieces are
<v Speaker 1>falling into place for Redemption to be the time that
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega finds his redemption in Canada, because they're back
<v Speaker 1>in Canada again and this time he wins the title.
<v Speaker 1>I just can't see them running that match back again
<v Speaker 1>if that's what they end up doing and having Kenny
<v Speaker 1>drop too straight to MJF. I just don't see that happening.
<v Speaker 1>And then you think about the name of the pay
<v Speaker 1>per view, the location of the pay per view, unless
<v Speaker 1>the idea is that they're going to do an Omega
<v Speaker 1>Osbury match on that show, but I don't see what
<v Speaker 1>the point of that would even be. What would the
<v Speaker 1>point of that be be nothing on the line in
<v Speaker 1>that match if you know, Osprey's gonna win the owen
<v Speaker 1>and so he's gonna end up in this sort of
<v Speaker 1>weird lame duck period. I mean to me, if it
<v Speaker 1>just makes far more sense on that Redemption show to
<v Speaker 1>build to an Osprey Moxley match, because that's where the
<v Speaker 1>story is, and if MJF is going to defend that
<v Speaker 1>title against anybody, it sure feels like it's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega to me, I don't know. I still I
<v Speaker 1>think that's a mistake. I think MJF and Osprey is
<v Speaker 1>the way to go for London. The newly heeled TNT
<v Speaker 1>champion Kevin Knight, he was out to the ring first
<v Speaker 1>up here on this show to address why he did
<v Speaker 1>what he did to Darby Allen on Sunday. And they
<v Speaker 1>were in Philadelphia tonight and the Philly fans, always very respectful,
<v Speaker 1>they were serenading him with chance of fuck you Kevin.
<v Speaker 1>Since Sunday, he says that he's heard one word and
<v Speaker 1>one word only, over and over again. Why why Kevin? Why?
<v Speaker 1>And he said, Listen, I told Darby Allen not to
<v Speaker 1>let the jet down. I love how he talks about
<v Speaker 1>himself in the third person, just like the rock. The
<v Speaker 1>rock says, the jet says he let the jet down.
<v Speaker 1>And not only did he let the jet down, and
<v Speaker 1>he told him not to in that promo on Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>last week or two weeks ago, whenever it was. He goes,
<v Speaker 1>don't let the jet down, don't let all these people down,
<v Speaker 1>and don't let the jet down. And that's exactly what
<v Speaker 1>Darby did. He blew it, he said, just like the
<v Speaker 1>Sixers did against the Knicks, and that got him some megaheat.
<v Speaker 1>Here he says he's not trusting the process anymore. He says,
<v Speaker 1>who's the last man that MJF found himself looking up
<v Speaker 1>at was him? It was Kevin Knight. So he took
<v Speaker 1>matters into his own hands. It should have been him
<v Speaker 1>in the main event on Sunday, but instead he watched
<v Speaker 1>from the bench. She was on the Sidees, does he
<v Speaker 1>look like a bench player to you? He says, is
<v Speaker 1>he not a human highlight? When he's in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>he isn't here to take part in aw He's here
<v Speaker 1>to take over the whole damn company. And he trusted
<v Speaker 1>Darby And when he got there, Darby told him, don't
<v Speaker 1>waste time, don't waste any time. So when he saw
<v Speaker 1>that Darby didn't get the job done, he wasted no
<v Speaker 1>time and he left Darby in a pool of his
<v Speaker 1>own blood. So this brought out his tag team partner, Speedball,
<v Speaker 1>Mike Bailey. So Speedball, I don't even know what he
<v Speaker 1>was wearing. He was wearing some sort of jacket that
<v Speaker 1>he looked like a character out of a Star Wars movie.
<v Speaker 1>He walks to the ring and he hears what Knight
<v Speaker 1>is saying, but he knows him. They work so well
<v Speaker 1>as a team because they want to be the best.
<v Speaker 1>But he says, Knight is impatient. He gets ahead of
<v Speaker 1>himself and he makes mistakes. And what he did to
<v Speaker 1>Darby was a mistake, but we can fix this. He says,
<v Speaker 1>if he apologized eyes and owns up to what he did,
<v Speaker 1>they can make things right. And he offers his hand
<v Speaker 1>and Knight thinks about what he just heard. The crowd
<v Speaker 1>starts chanting, say you're sorry, and Night kind of goes
<v Speaker 1>in for the handshake, but he brushes him his shoulder,
<v Speaker 1>shoulder tackles him, but he he shoulder checks. Said that'd
<v Speaker 1>be kind of funny. He shoulder checked him, and he
<v Speaker 1>made like he was leaving, and then he immediately turned
<v Speaker 1>back around and he blasted Bailey in the head with
<v Speaker 1>the microphone, and he acted like he was going to leave,
<v Speaker 1>but then he came back and then he dropped Bailey
<v Speaker 1>with a rock bottom to close the segment. As far
<v Speaker 1>as his promo goes, there wasn't a whole lot to it.
<v Speaker 1>I think at least we got the explanation. The explanation
<v Speaker 1>at least it goes back to that promo from television
<v Speaker 1>last week. And I've been saying this. I said, you know,
<v Speaker 1>he's giving off very heelish tendencies. And if you are
<v Speaker 1>going to turn any member of jetsby to hear you
<v Speaker 1>turn Kevin Knight, you don't turn Mike Bailey because Speedball's
<v Speaker 1>not a heel. It's not gonna work. So if you
<v Speaker 1>were going to turn one of them, they turn the
<v Speaker 1>right guy. And I think it's a role that he
<v Speaker 1>can grow into. I mean, he's he's not what I
<v Speaker 1>would call like a great promo where he's going out
<v Speaker 1>there and it's like, oh my god, this guy's a
<v Speaker 1>revelation with a live mic in his hand. He's not.
<v Speaker 1>But this wasn't terrible, you know. I think he got
<v Speaker 1>his point across. I think he has a certain confidence
<v Speaker 1>and a certain swagger to him. It's just going to
<v Speaker 1>be a case where you got to just get him
<v Speaker 1>out there in front of a live crab more and more,
<v Speaker 1>and as time goes on and you give him that
<v Speaker 1>exposure on the microphone, you put that mic in his hand,
<v Speaker 1>as long as he has something interesting to talk about.
<v Speaker 1>I think he'll get better and better the more he does.
<v Speaker 1>You just got you got to put him in those situations.
<v Speaker 1>But as far as like this promo itself, it wasn't anything,
<v Speaker 1>you know, blowaway, but a match with Speedball is where
<v Speaker 1>I figure they were going first. You kind of have
<v Speaker 1>to because Darby's taking a break. I think Darby's getting
<v Speaker 1>married in the next few weeks, I believe, so he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be gone for a while, and to me, that's
<v Speaker 1>that's your London match. I don't know how long Darby
<v Speaker 1>will be out for. You can keep him out for
<v Speaker 1>a little while. He doesn't have to rush back, because
<v Speaker 1>when you think about, you know, London in a couple
<v Speaker 1>of months, and well, what's Darby gonna do on that show. Well,
<v Speaker 1>you've already set up a challenger for him, You've set
<v Speaker 1>up a grudge match between him and Kevin Knight. There's
<v Speaker 1>really no need to do that match before then. So
<v Speaker 1>his Kevin Knight's direction seems pretty clear to me. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>for the next I would say two or three months,
<v Speaker 1>I think in your mind you can pretty much map
<v Speaker 1>out where they're going with him. Now we have Chris
<v Speaker 1>Jericho against Ricochet, and in this match, everybody is banned
<v Speaker 1>from ringside, so Jericho he later in the match, escaped
<v Speaker 1>the Fireman's carry in the apron, he dropped Ricochet with
<v Speaker 1>a death valley driver. Later on he got the walls
<v Speaker 1>of Jericho applied, Ricochet fought out of it, and he
<v Speaker 1>got Aubrey Edwards distracted at one and without her seeing it,
<v Speaker 1>he gave Jericho a low blow and then he delivered
<v Speaker 1>a Rico Salt and he covered him and he got
<v Speaker 1>a close near fall out of it. So Ricochet went
<v Speaker 1>for a six thirty splash or a six thirty cent
<v Speaker 1>on off the top, crashed and burned. Jericho delivered a
<v Speaker 1>code breaker, Ricochet kicked out. Then came the Judas effect,
<v Speaker 1>and then Jericho hit the Lion Salt and he got
<v Speaker 1>the win. I like how they've really they focused so
<v Speaker 1>heavily on the Lion Salt that they were able to
<v Speaker 1>use it as a believable finish here, so I'll give
<v Speaker 1>him credit for that. When the match was over, Tomaso
<v Speaker 1>Champa ran and he blindsided Jericho and he choked him
<v Speaker 1>with his T shirt. He lowered the knee pad and
<v Speaker 1>he blasted Jericho with a running knee strike. I thought
<v Speaker 1>that Jericho and Ricochet, they had a solid match here.
<v Speaker 1>You know, Ricochet has to slow it down for Jericho.
<v Speaker 1>Jericho can't keep up with somebody like him if he's
<v Speaker 1>working at his normal speed. But it was nice to
<v Speaker 1>have no interference, you know, from the Gates of Agony,
<v Speaker 1>there wasn't too much bullshit. I mean, outside of the
<v Speaker 1>low blow spot, I guess there real there really wasn't
<v Speaker 1>any bullshit in this match, so it was solid. And
<v Speaker 1>now Jericho moves on, I guess from one bald guy
<v Speaker 1>to another. Because now he's moving on to Champa. I
<v Speaker 1>think that could be a fun one. Yeah, I like Champa.
<v Speaker 1>So don't really have a whole lot else to say
<v Speaker 1>about this. Thankfully we have blown this off. The Jericho
<v Speaker 1>Ricochet stuff is now finished. I thought it seemed pretty
<v Speaker 1>finished to me as of Stadium stampede, but now it
<v Speaker 1>is officially done and Jericho can move on. And we
<v Speaker 1>go backstage to androde l Edelo, who was by himself
<v Speaker 1>said that now that the stupid stadium stampede is over,
<v Speaker 1>he can focus on winning the aw World title and
<v Speaker 1>beating MJF. Does does MJF think he's better than a
<v Speaker 1>real Latino man? How? You know? How? You know? Really
<v Speaker 1>leaning into that. But I saw this and I said,
<v Speaker 1>there it is. There's your Arena Mexico match. I've been
<v Speaker 1>saying it for months. I mean you've heard me say
<v Speaker 1>this over and over again. It's the perfect place and
<v Speaker 1>the perfect time to do this match. Grand Slam Mexico. Now,
<v Speaker 1>last year they did Grand Slam Mexico in June, so
<v Speaker 1>this is the only thing that might work against it,
<v Speaker 1>because apparently the Spanish announced team during Dynamite Tonight announced
<v Speaker 1>that Grand Slam Mexico is coming back, but it's coming
<v Speaker 1>back in August. And let's just say that Kenny Omega
<v Speaker 1>does beat MJF to win the aw World title at Redemption,
<v Speaker 1>that would mean MJF wouldn't be the champion come Arena Mexico.
<v Speaker 1>Assuming it will be in Arena Mexico. I can't imagine
<v Speaker 1>they would have it anywhere else. So that's the only
<v Speaker 1>thing actually working against it. Hopefully they don't take the
<v Speaker 1>title off MJF and they can do MJF and Androtti
<v Speaker 1>and I just think in that venue on that show,
<v Speaker 1>and they've been teasing it and kind of hinting at
<v Speaker 1>it now for a few months, it's the perfect place
<v Speaker 1>to do it. Hopefully we get to see it. They
<v Speaker 1>had what they called a Superstation Showcase four Way with
<v Speaker 1>Orange Cassidy, Brian Cage, Leo Rush, and Rush. I don't
<v Speaker 1>care when anybody says, I really don't. I'm glad they're
<v Speaker 1>giving more time to the Leo Rush Blackheart character. It's different.
<v Speaker 1>He's obviously very committed to it. It's very wacky. We
<v Speaker 1>don't have too much stuff like this on this show,
<v Speaker 1>which is probably why it stands out more. And frankly,
<v Speaker 1>I don't need anything more than this. If we had
<v Speaker 1>an army of people like Leo Rush doing this type
<v Speaker 1>of character, it would fucking suck. And if you don't
<v Speaker 1>like it, that's cool. But when he was on Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>initially several weeks ago, I said, well, this is cool
<v Speaker 1>that they're putting I think it was when he wrestled
<v Speaker 1>Brodie King and I said, well, this is cool that
<v Speaker 1>he's actually getting time on Dynamite here, but it's going
<v Speaker 1>to take more than just one appearance. And I do
<v Speaker 1>think it's a character or a gimmick that can get
<v Speaker 1>over in like a baby face way, but you gotta
<v Speaker 1>commit to it, which means you got to give him
<v Speaker 1>television time and not just on Collision every now and
<v Speaker 1>then are in Ring of Honor, but you got to
<v Speaker 1>have him on Dynamite. So he even got a little
<v Speaker 1>cameo during Stadium Stampede at the pay per view, and
<v Speaker 1>then they had him on Dynamite tonight, so I like
<v Speaker 1>what he's doing. I want to see where it goes,
<v Speaker 1>Probably nowhere, but I do think it can get over.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, the fans even tonight, the way they were
<v Speaker 1>reacting to it, were kind of into it. Late in
<v Speaker 1>the match, with Cassidy outside, Rocky Romero and Lance Archer appeared.
<v Speaker 1>Archer ate an orange punch, and then Jake Doyle showed
<v Speaker 1>up totally randomly. Jake Doyle shows up for the first
<v Speaker 1>time in months since what January I believe is when
<v Speaker 1>he tore his bicep and he blindsided Cassidy. Roderick Strong
<v Speaker 1>showed up. He fought off with Doyle, and then Archer
<v Speaker 1>carried Cassidy out with them. So now, all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>this four way is now down to a singles match,
<v Speaker 1>and it is down to, of all people, Rushe and Rush.
<v Speaker 1>We got Leo Rush in there, and Rushe doesn't know
<v Speaker 1>quite what to make of this character. So Leo he
<v Speaker 1>managed a springboard stunner and a mister X spear for
<v Speaker 1>an ear fall, and that's all he would get because
<v Speaker 1>Rushe came back with the bulls horns for the wind
<v Speaker 1>not long after this, Ivy, Let's be honest, here. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>once it came down to these two men, you kind
<v Speaker 1>of knew who was going over here, so we would
<v Speaker 1>find out later in the show. Though, as far as
<v Speaker 1>you may look at this match and go, well, why
<v Speaker 1>why did we get this match? What is this superstation showcase?
<v Speaker 1>What was the purpose? What was the point of it? Well,
<v Speaker 1>the point of it was based on what we saw
<v Speaker 1>later in the show. They wanted to set up Rouge
<v Speaker 1>for a World Championship match on the show next week,
<v Speaker 1>so they wanted to give him a big win. That
<v Speaker 1>was the purpose. That was literally the only purpose of
<v Speaker 1>this match here. Meanwhile, you know, you got Jake Doyle
<v Speaker 1>running out there making his return, and it was a
<v Speaker 1>complete afterthought. He just shows up and like immediately fights
<v Speaker 1>off to the back. No fanfare, you know, no, no, nothing.
<v Speaker 1>It's good to see him back. I wasn't even really
<v Speaker 1>thinking about him, I guess I just sort of assumed
<v Speaker 1>he would be out for a little bit longer. But
<v Speaker 1>now he's back. I think that pretty much, outside of Wardlow,
<v Speaker 1>means that all of the injured members of the Kallis
<v Speaker 1>family I believe are back. I believe right, because there
<v Speaker 1>were a bunch of them that were injured, and I
<v Speaker 1>think I think they're all pretty much back except Wardlow,
<v Speaker 1>and even Wardlow supposedly was spotted backstage visiting at Double
<v Speaker 1>or nothing. So I don't know if he's cleared and
<v Speaker 1>waiting for creative or if he's not clear yet. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. He's been gone a while, though I have
<v Speaker 1>to think he's probably physically ready to come back. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>they just haven't figured out. Oh Josh Alexander. See this
<v Speaker 1>whole fucking family is so big. I missed one, all right,
<v Speaker 1>So Josh Alexander forgot about Josh Alexander. You can't blame
<v Speaker 1>me though there's like twenty seven different members of his family. Well,
<v Speaker 1>maybe Josh Alexandra will be back soon too. When did
<v Speaker 1>he get hurt. It was only a few months ago,
<v Speaker 1>I think. But look, I mean, as far as Jake
<v Speaker 1>Doyle is concerned, I don't know what you do with him.
<v Speaker 1>Because I was starting to dig the tag team, you know,
<v Speaker 1>Davis and Doyle. I said, Okay, that's a solid addition
<v Speaker 1>to the tag team scene. And then Davis or Doyle
<v Speaker 1>rather got hurt, and Davis has actually gotten a singles push,
<v Speaker 1>and now he's the national champion. He's in the O
<v Speaker 1>in he's actually doing stuff, so I wouldn't just throw
<v Speaker 1>him back into a tag team just yet. But if
<v Speaker 1>you can't find something meaningful for someone like Jake Doyle
<v Speaker 1>to do, which I mean I said that about TNA,
<v Speaker 1>you can't find something for a guy like that to do,
<v Speaker 1>and you're doing something wrong. I'm sure they could find
<v Speaker 1>something for him to do, and then eventually if they
<v Speaker 1>want to put Davis and Doyle back together, that's fine,
<v Speaker 1>But Davis has his own thing going on right now.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't fuck with that. Renee was standing by backstage
<v Speaker 1>waiting for a word with MJF who walked in. Was
<v Speaker 1>literally dragging the aw World title across the floor and
<v Speaker 1>then he just dropped it on the floor because he
<v Speaker 1>has his triple B back over his shoulder. Kevin Knight
<v Speaker 1>walked in and thanked him for what he did on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>He knows, he knows why he did it because he
<v Speaker 1>wanted to show respect to the biggest star in the
<v Speaker 1>entire company. He goes that meant a lot to him
<v Speaker 1>and he thinks he's got a bright future ahead of him.
<v Speaker 1>So Knight told him, look, I didn't do it for you.
<v Speaker 1>I did it because Darby blew an opportunity that belonged
<v Speaker 1>to me, and one day I will beat you for
<v Speaker 1>that world title. And MJF told him, goals are good,
<v Speaker 1>said see you around. So MJF exited and then Knight
<v Speaker 1>turned around. He ran into Kyle o'ri Kyler Riley. He
<v Speaker 1>ran into Kyle Fletcher. I thought, I'm hallucinating here. It's
<v Speaker 1>the one hundred and three degree fever. So he turns around.
<v Speaker 1>Then he runs into Kyle Fletcher, who told him nice
<v Speaker 1>Belchie got there. keV don Callus walked in. He asked him,
<v Speaker 1>what's that nickname that you've got for yourself? And Knight says,
<v Speaker 1>Jet two Belts, and Kallus told him Jet two Belts,
<v Speaker 1>if you ever want to get serious about that, you
<v Speaker 1>know who to talk to. Me and Kyler are around,
<v Speaker 1>and off they went. Now Renee, after a break, was
<v Speaker 1>backstage with the brawling Birds Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor.
<v Speaker 1>Hayter says that she's got to take Techla's She had
<v Speaker 1>the chance to take Techla's head off on Sunday, Saturday, Sunday, Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what day of the week it is.
<v Speaker 1>So she's happy about that. She's not happy that she
<v Speaker 1>didn't win the world title, but she at least got
<v Speaker 1>to take Techla's head off, and in due time she
<v Speaker 1>will get her shot again. So Alex Windsor then piped up.
<v Speaker 1>She said that her heart goes out to Willow Nightingale,
<v Speaker 1>who was forced to pull out of the Owen with
<v Speaker 1>an injury, and she had a forfeit her TBS championship
<v Speaker 1>and she was really looking forward to wrestling her. She
<v Speaker 1>says that the next time, when you're healthy, you and
<v Speaker 1>me will throw down and we'll have a match. Now,
<v Speaker 1>Renee asked her, you know you're going to be facing
<v Speaker 1>off with a wild card in the tournament instead. How
<v Speaker 1>do you prepare for something like that? And Windsor says
<v Speaker 1>that she grew up getting the piss beaten out of
<v Speaker 1>her on a daily basis, which sounds horrible. So she's
<v Speaker 1>prepared herself for everything, and she isn't walking this path
<v Speaker 1>alone because her Billie, her Billy, is also going for
<v Speaker 1>the world title in the Owen, so the both of
<v Speaker 1>them are gonna win, and the two of them are
<v Speaker 1>both gonna go to Wembley in August and win the
<v Speaker 1>world Championship. I hope not. I hope that's not the plan.
<v Speaker 1>She hopes the wild card has skin in the game, though,
<v Speaker 1>and then Hater pipes up again and says, one way
<v Speaker 1>or another, the Birds will end up on top. Fuck
<v Speaker 1>the birds. I hate the birds. I don't hate these two,
<v Speaker 1>but I hate the Birds, especially on the van Wick.
<v Speaker 1>Fuck them. So that wildcard match in the Owen is
<v Speaker 1>going to be taking place on Dynamite next week, in
<v Speaker 1>case you were wondering, and go when that match is
<v Speaker 1>going to be happening. MJF was up next, the brand
<v Speaker 1>new AW World Champion for a third time, by the way.
<v Speaker 1>So he comes out like fucking King Mabel or the
<v Speaker 1>macho King Randy Savage. He's on his throne. He's got
<v Speaker 1>four ja brons who are carrying the throne underneath him,
<v Speaker 1>and they carry him to the ramp. They have the
<v Speaker 1>steps there, so he steps off and he is literally
<v Speaker 1>dragging the It's really it's Darby's world title. It's the
<v Speaker 1>regular AW World title with the black strap, and he
<v Speaker 1>is dragging it down to the ring. He goes up
<v Speaker 1>on the apron. There's a garbage can down below, and
<v Speaker 1>he drops the title into the garbage can. So this
<v Speaker 1>really does feel like Nitro from nineteen ninety six, although
<v Speaker 1>I think that happened in ninety five. Or we're going
<v Speaker 1>old school here. So MJF says that if you're looking
<v Speaker 1>for Darby Allen, he's hanging his head in shame after
<v Speaker 1>being beaten for the dreaded you know, the world Championship
<v Speaker 1>by the dreaded headlocked takeover. He's a three time champion
<v Speaker 1>professional wrestling. He says, it has been around since the
<v Speaker 1>eighteen hundreds, and since then only three men have been
<v Speaker 1>world champion three times before the age of thirty. And
<v Speaker 1>he hoped that these stupid schmucks appreciate just how great
<v Speaker 1>he is. Here in real time, Mark Briscoe walks down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring and he gets inside. He goes Friedman says,
<v Speaker 1>looking at Jews standing in this city, or a stranger
<v Speaker 1>in a strange place says, See, they're in Philly, and
<v Speaker 1>the people here, they're hard nosed, they're grinders. Some of
<v Speaker 1>the toughest people in the world live here, and you
<v Speaker 1>stick out like a sore thumb. Said, you're so self absorbed.
<v Speaker 1>You tell us that we aren't on your level and
<v Speaker 1>that you're better than us and you believe it. Well, well,
<v Speaker 1>he says that it wasn't that long ago that I
<v Speaker 1>pind your ass in the middle of this ring. Therefore,
<v Speaker 1>he didn't want to beat around the bush. He wants
<v Speaker 1>a shot at the AW World Championship, and that is true.
<v Speaker 1>By the way tables and tacks. Last year he did
<v Speaker 1>beat him. MJF says no. He says AAW is not
<v Speaker 1>just the sport. He says, it's business, and logistically speaking,
<v Speaker 1>it was bad enough that an emo freak like Darby
<v Speaker 1>held this belt. You think that somebody like you should
<v Speaker 1>be sniffing this title. He's doing Mark a favor because
<v Speaker 1>there are levels to this shit, and unfortunately for you, you
<v Speaker 1>aren't on the level of the devil. So he goes
<v Speaker 1>to leave the ring and he's heading up the ramp.
<v Speaker 1>He's backing up the ramp. So I'm waiting for somebody
<v Speaker 1>to come out, and sure enough, here comes Rouche. So
<v Speaker 1>he comes out and he gets up in mjf's face
<v Speaker 1>and he goes, you wanted to be a fighting champion.
<v Speaker 1>He goes, it's too funny. He's the chicken farmer, and
<v Speaker 1>he's pointing at Brisco in the ring. You're a chicken
<v Speaker 1>shit because I faced you before and I almost beat you,
<v Speaker 1>and now I want your title because when you mess
<v Speaker 1>with the bull, you get the herns. So MJF says
<v Speaker 1>that Ruche thinks he's funny because he cracks jokes and
<v Speaker 1>he's bilingual. So listen up, Senor. You have good hair,
<v Speaker 1>you have a good body, you're on a wind streak,
<v Speaker 1>and you have a marketable catchphrase. Do you want a
<v Speaker 1>shot tonight? He's teasing that he's gonna give him a
<v Speaker 1>title shot tonight, and he's ready for it. He's all
<v Speaker 1>psyched up, and MJF goes, psych goes, he'll face him
<v Speaker 1>next week for the World Championship. He not here in
<v Speaker 1>Philly and that was the gist of the promo there,
<v Speaker 1>and so they have set up a championship match now
<v Speaker 1>for next week. He'll be defending against Ruge. We know
<v Speaker 1>that we are and we know that he's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>defending against Brisco right, it's only a matter of when.
<v Speaker 1>So that match is coming up. And while they're very talented,
<v Speaker 1>and it's nice to see Rush, I've said this about
<v Speaker 1>Leah Rush. It's nice to see Rush getting more FaceTime
<v Speaker 1>on Dynamite or in the past, some of these guys
<v Speaker 1>they couldn't buy airtime on this show. I don't have
<v Speaker 1>an issue with that. I don't have an issue with
<v Speaker 1>cycling in people who we wouldn't ordinarily see on Dynamite.
<v Speaker 1>But they just haven't built them up well enough for
<v Speaker 1>me to sit here and get all excited about the
<v Speaker 1>fact that they're wrestling for a world championship. I can't.
<v Speaker 1>They're not the most attractive opponents to be throwing in
<v Speaker 1>there with themjf right, But if they want to do
<v Speaker 1>these matches, I'm sure the matches themselves will be very good,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm looking forward to seeing that at least, But
<v Speaker 1>it just feels like, you know, we're clearly buying time
<v Speaker 1>until we find out who that next big challenger is
<v Speaker 1>going to be, and who knows, maybe it is Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Ome get Redemption at the end of July, and we're
<v Speaker 1>just going to be doing this between now and then
<v Speaker 1>where we got roush next week, and then Mark Briscow
<v Speaker 1>will come after that, and then somebody else will step
<v Speaker 1>up and say that they want to crack at the title.
<v Speaker 1>And I talked about this at the beginning of the year,
<v Speaker 1>how refreshing it was that we had all of these
<v Speaker 1>potential challengers lined up for MJF at the time, Right,
<v Speaker 1>we had Swerved, and you had Hangman, you had Kenny,
<v Speaker 1>and you had brody King, and you had Andrade was
<v Speaker 1>starting to poke his head above ground and talk about
<v Speaker 1>wanting a shot at the world title. And it's like
<v Speaker 1>the world title scene felt invigorated in this company. So
<v Speaker 1>I don't have an issue with people wanting to go
<v Speaker 1>after the champion. They should every fucking person on that
<v Speaker 1>roster should want a shot at the aw world title.
<v Speaker 1>But coming out of the pay per view, you know,
<v Speaker 1>what do you have MJF doing. He's having a celebration. Okay, well, okay,
<v Speaker 1>sure we've seen this before, and you set up potentially
<v Speaker 1>Mark Brisco and Rouche as title challengers for MJF. Eh,
<v Speaker 1>all right, not the most exciting thing in the world now,
<v Speaker 1>as far as him defending his championship, just kind of
<v Speaker 1>the more broad idea that, oh, we have MJF wrestling
<v Speaker 1>on TV and defending his title. Yeah. It's funny to
<v Speaker 1>me when I hear people, you know, bitching about this,
<v Speaker 1>because it wasn't all that long ago that at least
<v Speaker 1>some of these same people might be found bitching about
<v Speaker 1>the fact that we never get to see MJF wrestle
<v Speaker 1>on TV. It was actually very rare, and it's still
<v Speaker 1>somewhat rare, but it was even rareer back then that
<v Speaker 1>you would see MJF even wrestling on television, and that
<v Speaker 1>was by design, you know, they wanted to keep him
<v Speaker 1>as almost like a special attraction. But if you look
<v Speaker 1>at the number of matches that he was having back then,
<v Speaker 1>wasn't very many of them. It would be the equivalent
<v Speaker 1>of like one of these part time big names that
<v Speaker 1>kind of come in for a cup of coffee in
<v Speaker 1>WWE and then go away and come back months later.
<v Speaker 1>It's the closest thing probably that you know, aw had
<v Speaker 1>to to something like that at the time. So being
<v Speaker 1>able to watch mja I've wrestled more often on television
<v Speaker 1>isn't something that I'm against. I'm all for it. It
<v Speaker 1>just so happens that he's the world champion. So yes,
<v Speaker 1>he's going to be defending the world title. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think he's going to be defending it every week. He's
<v Speaker 1>not Darby Allen that it wouldn't even make sense. Why
<v Speaker 1>would he want to defend the world title every week.
<v Speaker 1>But if they're going to have him defend it next
<v Speaker 1>week and then two or three weeks later he's going
<v Speaker 1>to have another title defense, great, what's so bad about that?
<v Speaker 1>As long as they're reasonably credible challengers. This is not
<v Speaker 1>an open challenge where fucking Ace Austen is going to
<v Speaker 1>come out and challenge for the aw World Championship or
<v Speaker 1>Leo Rush. And again I like the gimmick, but Leo
<v Speaker 1>Rush is not going to do a fucking creature crawl
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring and challenge for the World Championship.
<v Speaker 1>That's not what we're talking about here. If they want
<v Speaker 1>to do MJF and Mark Briscoe, Mark brisco at least
<v Speaker 1>has a case to be made because he beat him
<v Speaker 1>in a pay per view match last year. I think
<v Speaker 1>that was probably the last time the two of them
<v Speaker 1>wrestled was Tables in tact and brisco beat him. You
<v Speaker 1>want to get an MJF Mark Briscow title match out
<v Speaker 1>of it, that's fine. Briscoe has credibility that certain other
<v Speaker 1>people on the roster may not have, so that's the
<v Speaker 1>only thing. You want to make sure that you're putting
<v Speaker 1>him in there with reasonably big names and credible challengers,
<v Speaker 1>and then I don't have an issue with it because
<v Speaker 1>it helps make the shows a little more interesting and
<v Speaker 1>exciting when you know you got a world title match
<v Speaker 1>lined up CM Punk. Look at cmpunk Earlier this year
<v Speaker 1>we had something similar with Punk Were Punk. And this
<v Speaker 1>is why Raw really feels like it took a bit
<v Speaker 1>of a nose dive after WrestleMania because Punk hasn't been around.
<v Speaker 1>Punk was the world champion. We have Punk on television
<v Speaker 1>in the span. I think of a month, four or
<v Speaker 1>five weeks defending the championship on television against bron Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>against aj Styles, against Finn Balor, and it was exciting
<v Speaker 1>and they had really good matches, but it added a
<v Speaker 1>certain excitement that the show would not have otherwise had.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't object to it here. Yeah, it's a
<v Speaker 1>little bit different than when Darby was doing because he
<v Speaker 1>was defending that every fucking week, and I don't think
<v Speaker 1>that's what we're gonna get here. So I don't mind
<v Speaker 1>seeing MJ have defend the title on these shows. And
<v Speaker 1>if he was in some of these same people would
<v Speaker 1>be bitching about the fact that oh we, oh, we
<v Speaker 1>don't get any matches that have meaning or value or
<v Speaker 1>big matches on these shows. Yeah, well you're gonna get
<v Speaker 1>the fucking world champion defending his title. I don't get
<v Speaker 1>no bigger than that, Believe me. I'm looking on some
<v Speaker 1>of these shows for some real excitement too, and I'll
<v Speaker 1>take it where I can get it, So I don't
<v Speaker 1>object to any of that. Now, after Rushan Androde or
<v Speaker 1>Rushan de Briscoe, I think it should be Androde. It's
<v Speaker 1>just a matter of when they want to do that match,
<v Speaker 1>and then from there we'll find out if Kenny is
<v Speaker 1>the direction. It sure felt that way from the opening
<v Speaker 1>segment on the show that Kenny is going to get
<v Speaker 1>a rematch. He gets that rematch, we're gonna have a
<v Speaker 1>new champion, and then the bigger question becomes, what the
<v Speaker 1>hell is in JM do in London if he's not
<v Speaker 1>in the main event. I don't know. They had a
<v Speaker 1>vignette here where they showed the Jurassic Express bus, which,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, somebody in Philly posted a photo on
<v Speaker 1>their social media. They were driving down whatever the highway
<v Speaker 1>or whatever road it was, and I guess they were
<v Speaker 1>going to the show and the bus was on the
<v Speaker 1>road like he took a picture of the bus. He
<v Speaker 1>just so happened to be in the same location as
<v Speaker 1>the bus, which I just thought was kind of funny,
<v Speaker 1>says fucking Jurassic Express on the front of it. So
<v Speaker 1>they had a vignette here where Jack Perry was cutting
<v Speaker 1>a promo on Mark Davis for his main event match
<v Speaker 1>tonight and Lucasaurus was driving the bus. So then he
<v Speaker 1>stops the bus and he opens the door and Lucasaurus
<v Speaker 1>points to something and Perry looks outside and he goes, oh, no, no, no, don't.
<v Speaker 1>He goes, I got a match tonight, and lucas Stars
<v Speaker 1>is like nope. And so what it was is he
<v Speaker 1>wanted him to run the steps to the Rocky Statue.
<v Speaker 1>So we had a training vignette and he was running
<v Speaker 1>the steps to the Rocky Statue. He's jogging around the
<v Speaker 1>streets of Philadelphia with the bus driving very slowly behind
<v Speaker 1>him and honking him. He's drinking raw eggs. It's like
<v Speaker 1>a training vignette. It's supposed to be funny. We had
<v Speaker 1>another quarterfinal match in the owen Hart Tournament, the men's
<v Speaker 1>owen Heart Tournament, and this one was with Brodie King
<v Speaker 1>and Claudio Castignoli. The winner would advance to wrestle swer
<v Speaker 1>of Strickland in the next round because he beat Bendido
<v Speaker 1>on Sunday. Renee was ringside before the match, and she
<v Speaker 1>mentioned that both men had split wins with each other
<v Speaker 1>in the Continental Classic in twenty twenty three in twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty four, so this was effectively the rubber match here.
<v Speaker 1>And the majority of this it was really just like
<v Speaker 1>forearms and strikes and uppercuts. They were just kind of
<v Speaker 1>beating the hell out of each other, and they seemed
<v Speaker 1>to be losing steam as we got closer to the
<v Speaker 1>end of the match here. But what we got I
<v Speaker 1>thought was solid. Brody wanted a Gonzel bomb. Claudio slid out,
<v Speaker 1>he tried a springboard, he got forearmed out of mid air,
<v Speaker 1>and Brody charged into a pop up uppercut, stayed vertical
<v Speaker 1>and then landed a huge lariat and he collapsed on
<v Speaker 1>top of Claudio and he got the win. So we
<v Speaker 1>are getting Brody King and Swerve Strickland in a rematch
<v Speaker 1>from Revolution which Swerve won, and he's going to win
<v Speaker 1>again because we're getting it in the semi finals. The
<v Speaker 1>winner of that match would then go on to the
<v Speaker 1>finals of the Owen, although they I don't believe they
<v Speaker 1>announced when that match is taking place, so it might
<v Speaker 1>not be next week. But after this, we had the
<v Speaker 1>arrival of the brand new aw Tag Team Champions, Adam
<v Speaker 1>Copeland and Christian Cage. After an excellent match with FTR,
<v Speaker 1>a excellent opener on that double or Nothing card, and
<v Speaker 1>Cage told the crowd to sit down and shut up.
<v Speaker 1>So Cope jumped in and goes, who whoa whoa wha
<v Speaker 1>who No, no, no, you can't say that you listening
<v Speaker 1>to yourself, and Christians said, what it wasn't like I
<v Speaker 1>banged their mothers. They thought about it, goes, well, actually,
<v Speaker 1>maybe maybe I did, and Copeland said, well, you know,
<v Speaker 1>the nineties were pretty crazy time. So Cage then called
<v Speaker 1>FTR the toughest tag team they've ever shared the ring with,
<v Speaker 1>as Bubba Ray Dudley wept from his office or wherever
<v Speaker 1>he watches these shows. So he basically put over FTR
<v Speaker 1>and said you're top guys, but you're not tippy top guys,
<v Speaker 1>and he held up the tag team title. So Copeland
<v Speaker 1>said that they would do something that they haven't done
<v Speaker 1>in twenty five years, and then offered to do a
<v Speaker 1>five second pose and Christian initially said, now now I'm
<v Speaker 1>not doing it, and he said, they don't even do
<v Speaker 1>flash photography anymore, which made me, and in that moment,
<v Speaker 1>it made me feel very sad because it's true, the
<v Speaker 1>passage of time. It's amazing how like that used to
<v Speaker 1>be a thing and now it's not a thing anymore.
<v Speaker 1>It's actually one of the things that I do miss
<v Speaker 1>when I go back and I watch even stuff from
<v Speaker 1>like the Ruthless Aggression era, the Attitude era. You don't
<v Speaker 1>even have to go back to the Golden era, the
<v Speaker 1>nWo era, the flash bulbs, like when there was a
<v Speaker 1>big moment or a big finish in a wrestling match,
<v Speaker 1>or a big return or something, all the flash bulbs
<v Speaker 1>going off right, all the flashes from all the cameras,
<v Speaker 1>and you don't have that anymore because who the fuck
<v Speaker 1>uses flash photography. Everyone's got their fucking phone and you
<v Speaker 1>don't need your flash on. But it made me think, like, man,
<v Speaker 1>you know what that is something that is missing. It
<v Speaker 1>just made those moments feel that much more epic. So
<v Speaker 1>Cope goes, well, as a matter of fact, he goes,
<v Speaker 1>that's not entirely true. So he rolls outside the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and he goes under and he pulls out a sack
<v Speaker 1>of some kind and he said, twenty years ago, I
<v Speaker 1>went to the store and I bought these just for
<v Speaker 1>this very scenario. And he emptied it out and it
<v Speaker 1>was a bag full of disposable cameras. Another relic from
<v Speaker 1>the past. I purchased many a disposable camera, many many
<v Speaker 1>wrestling events. In fact, I took my disposable camera. And
<v Speaker 1>he starts handing them out to people in the crowd,
<v Speaker 1>and he's looking specifically for people under the age of
<v Speaker 1>twenty five, trying to explain to them how it works.
<v Speaker 1>You gotta do this, You got the knob over here,
<v Speaker 1>got to turn the flash on. And he's running around,
<v Speaker 1>he's gassing himself out, handing out disposable cameras. So eventually
<v Speaker 1>he gets back in the ring and before they could
<v Speaker 1>take the five second pose, they get attacked from behind.
<v Speaker 1>And who is it who attacks them from behind? It
<v Speaker 1>is the Dogs Wolf Wolf Bow Wow, David Finley and
<v Speaker 1>Clark Connors. See if you remember when they debuted in
<v Speaker 1>this company, the horrific way that they debuted the Dogs,
<v Speaker 1>Is it any wonder how I can't bring myself to
<v Speaker 1>really give much of a shit about this because they've
<v Speaker 1>just been booked so fucking weak. Who really cares? But
<v Speaker 1>I guess it's a first team for them to beat,
<v Speaker 1>so what the fuck, right? So they get attacked from
<v Speaker 1>behind by the dogs and Copeland gets knocked out with
<v Speaker 1>a Shaley shot. They take Christian outside and now Christian
<v Speaker 1>still has the cast I guess or some sort of
<v Speaker 1>brace from the injury that they were selling to his wrist.
<v Speaker 1>He still has that on, and Connors is holding the
<v Speaker 1>arm down with the brace on it. He's holding it,
<v Speaker 1>I think against the ring steps, and David Finley has
<v Speaker 1>the shillalely and he swings it at the arm and
<v Speaker 1>he misses on purpose. He hit the a instead of
<v Speaker 1>hitting the art because he didn't want to hurt the guy.
<v Speaker 1>But it looked fucking It looked fucking horrendous. It was
<v Speaker 1>every bit as bad as the one man Concerto that
<v Speaker 1>Austin Theory gave to Angelo Dawkins on Raw this past Monday.
<v Speaker 1>As if the camera angle wasn't bad enough on that one,
<v Speaker 1>this was just as bad. And so then they put
<v Speaker 1>Cage's arm underneath the ring steps and Clark Connors from
<v Speaker 1>the apron, dove off the apron, onto the steps. Christian
<v Speaker 1>is selling the shit out of this. He's writhing around,
<v Speaker 1>just an agony, he's screaming. Connors puts him back in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, Finley blasts Christian in the head with the
<v Speaker 1>chilly and then they pick up Copeland one last time
<v Speaker 1>to take a spear, and so the Tag Team champions
<v Speaker 1>are left laying and then Finley and Connors do the
<v Speaker 1>five second pos and you saw some of the flashes
<v Speaker 1>from the crowd. If you wanted to see flash photography,
<v Speaker 1>this is your segment here because you actually got to
<v Speaker 1>see it here at the very end. Look, I mean
<v Speaker 1>the Dogs is the first Challengers whatever I guess. I mean, eh,
<v Speaker 1>they haven't exactly been booked strong, so you'll have to
<v Speaker 1>excuse me if I'm not terribly excited about this. I
<v Speaker 1>think maybe the weirder part of the whole thing is
<v Speaker 1>that this just felt like a write off, like they
<v Speaker 1>wrote Christian off television. There's no way they didn't just
<v Speaker 1>write Christian off television for at least a few weeks,
<v Speaker 1>and they had just put the tag Team titles on
<v Speaker 1>these guys, So if they're writing them off, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>really sure what that means as far as when we
<v Speaker 1>are going to see them next here on the show,
<v Speaker 1>I have no idea. I don't know. Maybe they're going
<v Speaker 1>to take a break for a few weeks and because
<v Speaker 1>Cope and Christians should not be depending those titles weekly
<v Speaker 1>on television or I'm not advocating for that, but this
<v Speaker 1>just felt like a write off to me. And they
<v Speaker 1>just won the belts, so that was a little strange.
<v Speaker 1>Prince Naa was backstage with Swerve Strickland saying that he's
<v Speaker 1>taking the Owen and then he is heading back to
<v Speaker 1>the main event at Wembley Stadium to win back the
<v Speaker 1>AW World Championship. Hey heavy, thank you. Yeah, I heard
<v Speaker 1>part of Ariel Show today, the Ariel Hilwane Show, and
<v Speaker 1>always appreciate the love that those guys send my way.
<v Speaker 1>They were talking about AW as a matter of fact,
<v Speaker 1>So yes, I did hear that. Thank you. I appreciate it. It
<v Speaker 1>is appointment listening every single week The Uncrowned Wrestling Show,
<v Speaker 1>brand new episode up right now. But anyway, so Swerve
<v Speaker 1>is talking about how you know he's going back to
<v Speaker 1>the main event at Wembley Stadium and he's going to
<v Speaker 1>get back his aw world title, and he took credit
<v Speaker 1>for brody King, who he will now be facing in
<v Speaker 1>the next round. He took credit for him even breaking
<v Speaker 1>into the business and said he was going to do
<v Speaker 1>him worse than he did Bandido. On Sunday, he said conflict,
<v Speaker 1>he ates cash and war makes money, and he plans
<v Speaker 1>on making a lot of money with brody King. There
<v Speaker 1>was also a I don't think this aired anywhere, but
<v Speaker 1>I saw it on social media, and it was a
<v Speaker 1>very brief video of Kevin Knight walking back might might
<v Speaker 1>have been filmed earlier tonight, just walking backstage, and he
<v Speaker 1>walks right past Swerve. Swerve is leaned up against the wall,
<v Speaker 1>and Swerve looks at him, and he looks at Swerve.
<v Speaker 1>Swerve almost flashes like a like a grin at him,
<v Speaker 1>and Night keeps walking. Because there's been something between those two.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if that's going to manifest into something
<v Speaker 1>with them on television where they're going to, you know,
<v Speaker 1>form some sort of alliance or not. But it was
<v Speaker 1>almost like, Okay, now you're doing what needs to be done,
<v Speaker 1>like that's sort of not of respect from Swerve, So
<v Speaker 1>there could be something there. I'm just saying there could
<v Speaker 1>be something there with those two had now this right here.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why this was on Dynamite. This should
<v Speaker 1>have been on the third hour. This should have been
<v Speaker 1>on Collision tonight. This had no business being on this show.
<v Speaker 1>We had TJ and a Jay in Tykanti. They came
<v Speaker 1>out for a match against Ava Everett and Ali Catch
<v Speaker 1>And I will say this, it was nice to see
<v Speaker 1>Ali getting some FaceTime on aw television. I mean, she's
<v Speaker 1>been a veteran on the independent scene for I mean,
<v Speaker 1>my god, a long time, and so to see her
<v Speaker 1>on TV was pretty cool. Even though she didn't really
<v Speaker 1>do much of anything here. She didn't have a chance
<v Speaker 1>because this thing went. If it went a minute, I
<v Speaker 1>would be pretty much you know, like, yeah, that sounds
<v Speaker 1>about right. Sixty seconds, sixty five seconds, somewhere in that range.
<v Speaker 1>Just sounds about right. Ali and Ava they were finished
<v Speaker 1>off in short order. They're trying to establish TJ as
<v Speaker 1>contenders for Meghan Bain and for Lena Cross. They did
<v Speaker 1>have something on the third hour of Collision that I
<v Speaker 1>noticed before I went live here where they were off camera.
<v Speaker 1>They were attacked in the back by the women's tag
<v Speaker 1>team champions, Riveting stuff. I don't know why this had
<v Speaker 1>to be on Dynamite, this Dynamite Show, because I'm about
<v Speaker 1>to get into the main event here in a second.
<v Speaker 1>This Dynamite Show went like almost fifteen minutes overtime, to
<v Speaker 1>the point where as soon as the match was over,
<v Speaker 1>they literally they just like within five seconds, they rushed
<v Speaker 1>off the air. Did this really need to be on
<v Speaker 1>this show? We go backstage Speedball. Mike Bailey is very angry.
<v Speaker 1>He's very angry because he offered his hand to Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight and he attacked him instead. He tried to reason
<v Speaker 1>with him, but now the time for reasoning is over,
<v Speaker 1>says he wants him in the ring one on one.
<v Speaker 1>We were never told when that match would be taking place,
<v Speaker 1>and that's the natural outgrowth of him doing what he
<v Speaker 1>did at the pay per view, right, I mean, Speedball's
<v Speaker 1>got to be about it. He turns on Speedball, we
<v Speaker 1>get a match between the two former members of Jet Speed.
<v Speaker 1>I mean this is just booking one oh one, so
<v Speaker 1>that's not a shock. But we just don't know when
<v Speaker 1>the match is going to be taking place. I don't know, like,
<v Speaker 1>for example, like Forbidden Doors on June twenty eighth, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think you can wait that long. We'll probably get
<v Speaker 1>some sort of themed episode of Dynamite in the next
<v Speaker 1>few weeks. I mean, I know they're doing Beach break
<v Speaker 1>In that's in July, though, but maybe there's going to
<v Speaker 1>be some other sort of themed special episode of Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>and I could see that match happening on there. This
<v Speaker 1>week's episode is sponsored by Wicks. Have you ever heard
<v Speaker 1>of vibe coding before, because I hadn't until recently. But
<v Speaker 1>it's exactly as it sounds. You're looking for a certain
<v Speaker 1>vibe and you code your website to fit that vibe.
<v Speaker 1>You can picture it in your head exactly what you
<v Speaker 1>want it to look like, and then make it a reality.
<v Speaker 1>And the way you do that is with Wicks's new
<v Speaker 1>Harmony editor. It's pretty amazing. All you do is type
<v Speaker 1>in what it is that you want, and through the
<v Speaker 1>power of AI, you'll get a website that mirrors exactly
<v Speaker 1>what you're looking for and works right out of the gate.
<v Speaker 1>But wis Harmony doesn't force you to use AI for everything.
<v Speaker 1>You can still click and change whatever you want all
<v Speaker 1>on your own, or click on something and then ask Aria,
<v Speaker 1>your own personal AI agent, to change it. For you.
<v Speaker 1>It also solves the very annoying problem of having to
<v Speaker 1>prompt AI over and over again, even for the smallest changes.
<v Speaker 1>This is much more efficient and it saves you a
<v Speaker 1>lot of time and aggravation. So do yourself a favor,
<v Speaker 1>save yourself the stress and join the millions of businesses
<v Speaker 1>that already use Wix for their website needs. Try wix
<v Speaker 1>Harmony for free right now at wix dot com slash harmony.
<v Speaker 1>That's wis dot com slash harmony. We have the aw
<v Speaker 1>National champion in the main event, Mark Davis sporting an
<v Speaker 1>ipatch after what happened to this poor bastard during stadium
<v Speaker 1>stampede one on one with jungle Jack Perry. This was
<v Speaker 1>the men's Owen hart Toornament quarterfinal. The eyepatch did not
<v Speaker 1>stay on his eye for very long out on the apron.
<v Speaker 1>Davis dropped Perry with a suplex late late in the
<v Speaker 1>match that caused Perry's shoes to go flying off his
<v Speaker 1>feet because on the way down as he was being dropped,
<v Speaker 1>his legs hit the ropes and his shoes went flying,
<v Speaker 1>and then he tumbled down to the floor outside then
<v Speaker 1>back in the ring. The socks came off and Perry
<v Speaker 1>was forced to wrestle Barefoot. And then so we got
<v Speaker 1>some commentary from TAZ talking about, well, you know, I know,
<v Speaker 1>I know that feeling because early in my career I
<v Speaker 1>used to wrestle Barefoot and that's true. When he was
<v Speaker 1>the Tasmaniac, he used to wrestle Barefoot. That's the early
<v Speaker 1>days of TAZ. That was a very different Taz. So
<v Speaker 1>they made the match for next week. All right, so
<v Speaker 1>I guess it's happening next week. There you go, we're
<v Speaker 1>getting a I presume that's for the TNT. Well, they
<v Speaker 1>didn't say it was for the TNT Championship, so I
<v Speaker 1>can't say that for sure. I would assume it would
<v Speaker 1>be for the TNT title. Okay, so we know Speedball
<v Speaker 1>and Kevin Knight is next week. N MJF is defending
<v Speaker 1>the world title against Ruche Good Good. That sounds like
<v Speaker 1>an exciting start to putting a show together for next week.
<v Speaker 1>I will I will never argue or hate on them
<v Speaker 1>booking actual like big matches for these shows. You want
<v Speaker 1>excitement on these shows, that you gotta this is where
<v Speaker 1>you start. You got to make the matches to get
<v Speaker 1>people excited. So anyway, here the UH match continue. Both
<v Speaker 1>men fought up into the corner. Perry hit an avalanche
<v Speaker 1>DDT spiked Davis with it. Then he got a pile driver.
<v Speaker 1>Perry did, but he only got two, so the snare
<v Speaker 1>trap got applied. Davis, though, got the rope break. Perry
<v Speaker 1>tried for the sacrifice knee, but he got swatted out
<v Speaker 1>of mid air. They ended up back on the ropes again.
<v Speaker 1>Perry wanted a superplex. He lost his balance though it
<v Speaker 1>looked like he was setting up for maybe a Spanish
<v Speaker 1>fly because he stood up on like Davis is seated
<v Speaker 1>on the top rowe and then Perry instead of planting
<v Speaker 1>one foot on one side of him and one foot
<v Speaker 1>on the other side of him, he put both feet
<v Speaker 1>on the right side of Davis. So that's why I
<v Speaker 1>was thinking, okay, Spanish fly. But he kind of lost
<v Speaker 1>his footing there, and Davis took advantage. He got him
<v Speaker 1>in a pile driver position and he gave him a
<v Speaker 1>spinning avalanche pile driver off the top rope down to
<v Speaker 1>the mat. And I saw that and I said, this
<v Speaker 1>better be the fucking finish and it was, And so
<v Speaker 1>Mark Davis is moving on to the next round of
<v Speaker 1>the owen now I said, they went way past the
<v Speaker 1>top of the hour with this match, so much so
<v Speaker 1>that as soon as the bell rang and Davis was
<v Speaker 1>announced as the winner, we didn't even hear from the announcers.
<v Speaker 1>Ex Caliber did not even have a chance to do
<v Speaker 1>some sort of final hard sell. They laid out no commentary,
<v Speaker 1>they kept the camera on Davis, they put the copyright
<v Speaker 1>on the screen, and they were out of there because
<v Speaker 1>they were, as Tony Shavanni would say, once upon a time,
<v Speaker 1>we are desperately out of time. So they clearly went
<v Speaker 1>a little over what they're allotted time was supposed to be. Well,
<v Speaker 1>that's what happens to me. You put a pointless TJ
<v Speaker 1>match on the show. I mean, I still don't I
<v Speaker 1>don't understand that placement. That's just very weird to me.
<v Speaker 1>But then they picked up with Collision, so you got
<v Speaker 1>to back out of Dynamite on HBO Max and the
<v Speaker 1>you got to reopen Collision is a separate show, and
<v Speaker 1>then Boot and Collision is on before I talk about
<v Speaker 1>Before I talk about that of the three matches that
<v Speaker 1>Jack Perry and Mark Davis have now had, this was easily,
<v Speaker 1>in my opinion, the best of the bunch. This is
<v Speaker 1>the strongest match that the two of them have had.
<v Speaker 1>It was hardly a marquee main event though, you know,
<v Speaker 1>to follow up such a big pay per view that
<v Speaker 1>they just had on Sunday. But they had a really
<v Speaker 1>strong match. You know. I think I went through two
<v Speaker 1>commercial breaks. When they took that second commercial break, I
<v Speaker 1>was surprised because they were already over the top of
<v Speaker 1>the hour. Now look, I know that they had a
<v Speaker 1>third hour, so you're like, well, so what then go
<v Speaker 1>over over their allotted time? Because who gives a shit? No,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that's necessarily how it works, though, you know,
<v Speaker 1>they still have to get off at a certain time
<v Speaker 1>with Dynamite, so they can kind of convert everything over
<v Speaker 1>to Collision. And somebody will tell me, did Collision tonight
<v Speaker 1>air also on TBS? I assumed it all must have
<v Speaker 1>aired on TBS, right, they didn't force people. I assumed
<v Speaker 1>to switch over to TNT because I know TNT is
<v Speaker 1>normally where Collision would air, but on HBO Max. I
<v Speaker 1>have no ideas, so maybe somebody can clue me in there. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>Brandon Proctor, thank you for forty eight months of membership.
<v Speaker 1>He said four years and we're getting close to one
<v Speaker 1>hundred k subs, slowly but surely because of people like you.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you all TBS. All right, that's what I figured
<v Speaker 1>all TBA because normally Collision is a TNT show, so
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't sure if they switched it over there, but
<v Speaker 1>this ended up being a really strong match. It was
<v Speaker 1>not a Marquee main event, but it was a very
<v Speaker 1>strong match. Davis made more sense for the winner here.
<v Speaker 1>It just made more sense, not just for the babyface
<v Speaker 1>versus heel dynamic. In the next round you also have
<v Speaker 1>the death Rider dynamic against a member of the don
<v Speaker 1>Kallus family. But Mark Davis has a ref stoppage win
<v Speaker 1>over Will Osprey just recently, like five or six weeks ago,
<v Speaker 1>he beat him on Dynamite, So this next match is
<v Speaker 1>going to be Osprey's revenge. He gets to come right
<v Speaker 1>back and get one over on Mark Davis. It just
<v Speaker 1>made all the sense in the world. So the semiser
<v Speaker 1>set in the owen on the men's side. Tony Kahan,
<v Speaker 1>he did previously say that Persephone and Series matches their
<v Speaker 1>respective matches in the Oh, and He's gonna hold off
<v Speaker 1>on them a little bit until we get into June
<v Speaker 1>to give them enough time to heal up from the
<v Speaker 1>from the injuries that they've been dealing with, and then
<v Speaker 1>next week Alex Windsor is going to be wrestling the
<v Speaker 1>wild card, who I do not believe is going to
<v Speaker 1>be Mercedes Monet. I still maintained that if it was
<v Speaker 1>going to be Mercedes, they would have kept the match
<v Speaker 1>on the pay per view and had Mercedes come back
<v Speaker 1>at double or nothing. So I don't think it's going
<v Speaker 1>to be her. I don't know who it's going to be,
<v Speaker 1>unless you know, if they debut somebody like a like
<v Speaker 1>like Dakota Kai. But outside of that, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know who it would be. I know Camille
<v Speaker 1>came back recently and then she just vanished again. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>it's her. I don't know. So I'll tell you what
<v Speaker 1>I told you at the beginning here. This was not
<v Speaker 1>a bad episode of Dynamite. It just was not the
<v Speaker 1>most exciting follow up to what I thought was the
<v Speaker 1>best wrestling show that I've seen all year. It's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be tough to follow up on what we saw on Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>but I was hoping for a little bit a little
<v Speaker 1>bit more, and it ended up being pretty average fare
<v Speaker 1>as far as Dynamite goes. Now, I did check out
<v Speaker 1>the opening Yes, I did check out the opening minutes
<v Speaker 1>of Collision. As I was finishing my notes on the
<v Speaker 1>main event, we got a Kyle Fletcher return promo calling
<v Speaker 1>out Kenoski Takeshta, and Kenoski Takeshta came out the brand
<v Speaker 1>new International Champion after his match of the Year with
<v Speaker 1>Okata at Double or Nothing. Yes, that is my match
<v Speaker 1>of the year so far, even more than it has
<v Speaker 1>usurped Roman Reigns and Cmpunk and a couple of other
<v Speaker 1>ones that I had. So he comes out there and
<v Speaker 1>he is flanked by the Conglomeration. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>he's officially a new member of the conglomeration or you know,
<v Speaker 1>they're just sort of loosely aligned now. But he's got
<v Speaker 1>some backup, and he came down to the ring and
<v Speaker 1>the Kallis family cleared out, and Takeshta got on the
<v Speaker 1>mic and he called out Fletcher and said he want Fletcher.
<v Speaker 1>So we're obviously going to be getting that match very soon.
<v Speaker 1>Will Osprey wrestled on the show. See Tony is wising
<v Speaker 1>up when they do these three hour blocks he got
<v Speaker 1>to you gotta save some of the big names for
<v Speaker 1>that third hour. So it pisses me off because I'm
<v Speaker 1>getting ready to go live, but like it's smart, you
<v Speaker 1>want to keep people tuned in. So you know, he
<v Speaker 1>did the follow up to Takeshta and Fletcher. Here we
<v Speaker 1>got a trios match where will Osprey, Tagg, John Moxley
<v Speaker 1>and Pack to take on the rascals. That happened. I
<v Speaker 1>know later on in the show there was a lights
<v Speaker 1>out Philly street fight between Chris stat Lander and Hikarushida.
<v Speaker 1>I did not see that, but I know they I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure they closed the show with that. But the other
<v Speaker 1>the thing that they had here on a collision, we
<v Speaker 1>got an OPS promo in the back. Samoa, Joe Hook,
<v Speaker 1>Katyuri Shabata, Anthony Bowens were all there, and Joe said
<v Speaker 1>that Hollywood was calling, and so he's going to be
<v Speaker 1>stepping away for a few months to go take care
<v Speaker 1>of business, and so he is leaving the Ops in
<v Speaker 1>their hands. He's leaving it in Hook's hands, and off
<v Speaker 1>he went. So Samoa Joe, who came back not that
<v Speaker 1>long ago. He walked into Flushing, Queens the other night
<v Speaker 1>had a kick ass match with Will Osprey, and now
<v Speaker 1>he's leaving yet again, at least this time it's not
<v Speaker 1>because of an injury, but he's right back out the door.
<v Speaker 1>I would imagine he's probably filming the next season of
<v Speaker 1>Twisted Metal, I would think, So, yes, we're not going
<v Speaker 1>to be seeing Samoa Joe for a few months, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure hook will hold down the fort with Bowens
<v Speaker 1>and the rest of them as far as the the
<v Speaker 1>opos is concerned. And that's what that's what I got,
<v Speaker 1>That's what I got for you. Again, I didn't see
<v Speaker 1>the main event of Collision. I'm sure I'll check it
<v Speaker 1>out at some point, but again, I'm dying over here.
<v Speaker 1>So I was like, I can't wait any longer because
<v Speaker 1>I know exactly what I guarantee you. Collision tonight had
<v Speaker 1>an overrun as well. And I always say this is
<v Speaker 1>even about three hour WWE shows, Like you have a
<v Speaker 1>three hour block of television, you don't need a fucking overrun, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that's just obnoxious. Why does the three hour
<v Speaker 1>show need an overrun? So somebody will let me know
<v Speaker 1>if Collision had an overrun tonight, how is Joe on
<v Speaker 1>that Twisted Metal show, by the way for good things
<v Speaker 1>about him. It's just too bad they don't use his voice.
<v Speaker 1>Was it to Will Arnett? I think is the voice
<v Speaker 1>of sweet Tooth? A twenty minute over No, not twenty minutes.
<v Speaker 1>Did they have a twenty minute overrun on Collision? Oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, it's fucking ridiculous. Seventeen minutes. It's ridiculous. Hopefully
<v Speaker 1>the match at least was worth it. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>why the fuck you need a twenty minute over run
<v Speaker 1>in a three hour show. It's just ridiculous. Joe is awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Well good, Maybe he'll get more roles in Hollywood. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Twisted Metal was one of those games that I just
<v Speaker 1>I never played. I never got into the franchise, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't think I've ever played a single Twisted Metal game.
<v Speaker 1>I know nothing. I don't even know anything about it.
<v Speaker 1>I know it has to do with cars. It's about
<v Speaker 1>all I know. Take a look at your messages, and
<v Speaker 1>then I am going to attempt to get some sleep.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I gotta go to the mechanic in the morning.
<v Speaker 1>I need a new fuel pump eight hundred and fifty dollars.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know if we did fifty dollars tonight
<v Speaker 1>if we did. Most of it came from this guy
<v Speaker 1>right here, Joseph Stewart, who has assaulted me here with
<v Speaker 1>super chats, which I very much appreciate. We're going to
<v Speaker 1>run through these here, so thank you all for hanging
<v Speaker 1>out with me on a Wednesday night. We wanted to
<v Speaker 1>know if I liked Santino Morella's Sell of the Stone
<v Speaker 1>Cold Stunner. I don't remember Santino's Cell of the Stunner,
<v Speaker 1>so I guess the answer is no, is if I
<v Speaker 1>really liked it, I would probably still remember it. Lee
<v Speaker 1>Merriweather played Catwoman in the Batman sixty sixth movie. It's
<v Speaker 1>her birthday today. Happy thirty second anniversary to the Flintstones
<v Speaker 1>movies or a movie with John Goodman and Fred Flintstone.
<v Speaker 1>Well you can't forget the vivacious halle Berry Come on now.
<v Speaker 1>Used to take my Flintstones vitamins when I was younger.
<v Speaker 1>I always love the red Ones. Those are my favorite.
<v Speaker 1>It says a lot of good movies came out in
<v Speaker 1>the year nineteen ninety four. Uh yeah, actually I think
<v Speaker 1>The Shawshank Redemption came out that year. Far As Gump, God,
<v Speaker 1>what else came out in ninety four. There was a
<v Speaker 1>lot of good stuff that came out in ninety four.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe I should have taken them. Yeah, fuck you, I
<v Speaker 1>should have taken my Flinslons vitamins tonight. I could use
<v Speaker 1>some pills right about now. Hey, super Pony, thank you,
<v Speaker 1>says Masters of the Universe. Movie movie donuts are available
<v Speaker 1>to buy a krispy Kreme had some today and they
<v Speaker 1>are really good. Yeah, I don't eat Krispy Creme. I
<v Speaker 1>don't do Dunkin Donuts anymore. I've never done Krispy Kreme
<v Speaker 1>because we never had one near me. It was always
<v Speaker 1>Dunkin Donuts. It's the last thing I need to be
<v Speaker 1>eating right now. I am looking forward to the back
<v Speaker 1>rooms tomorrow. I have my ticket. I just hope I'm
<v Speaker 1>feeling okay. But I have a ticket for an afternoon
<v Speaker 1>Nune showing tomorrow, and I'm very much looking for It's funny,
<v Speaker 1>like I think it's like a mid afternoon showing. And
<v Speaker 1>when I bought the tickets the theater, I mean there
<v Speaker 1>were there were there were some blocks of seats that
<v Speaker 1>were blocked off, but it wasn't too terrible. And I
<v Speaker 1>just went back today to check out the seating map
<v Speaker 1>and it's like almost completely sold out, which I guess
<v Speaker 1>is a good sign for the movie, but I'm like, fuck,
<v Speaker 1>I kind of like it when it's mostly empty and
<v Speaker 1>now it's almost sold out. What is your favorite quote
<v Speaker 1>from The Sopranos quote Phillyotado twenty fucking years. That man
<v Speaker 1>did twenty fucking years. Two of the cast members of
<v Speaker 1>The Sopranos, Christopher and Bobby, were at the Knicks game
<v Speaker 1>last week. That's very cool. What are your thoughts on
<v Speaker 1>dominic mysterios comments on his recent booking. I did not
<v Speaker 1>hear any comments from Dominic about his recent booking, so
<v Speaker 1>I have no idea what that's in reference to. You'll
<v Speaker 1>have to fill me in. Is it true that Vince
<v Speaker 1>McMahon used Dominic to sign with w W to tollure
<v Speaker 1>rayback to the company instead of joining AEW. I've never
<v Speaker 1>heard that before. I've never heard that before. I would
<v Speaker 1>have to like know what the timeline was on that,
<v Speaker 1>Like when when did dom get signed? Do you remember
<v Speaker 1>Dominic appearing on UCA Underground? I don't, I know Ray
<v Speaker 1>was there. I remember that. What is your favorite Tony
<v Speaker 1>soprano moment? It's when he did some dental work on
<v Speaker 1>Coco in the Restaurant. If you know, you know a
<v Speaker 1>better curb stump than Seth Rollins has ever delivered in
<v Speaker 1>his entire career. Or Were you a fan of the
<v Speaker 1>Sopranos theme style? Love It, Love It. It's a great
<v Speaker 1>fucking song. Do you think the Attitude era had the
<v Speaker 1>best theme music? Probably? I mean, I'm a fan of
<v Speaker 1>a lot of the the Jimmy Hart and Jim Johnston
<v Speaker 1>Golden era themes, but the Attitude era music was I mean,
<v Speaker 1>stone Cold, the Rock, all those Undertaker themes, the Brood.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it's hard to beat that Caine. Mm hm.
<v Speaker 1>Which version of the Four Horsemen is your favorite? The
<v Speaker 1>one would Bury Wyndham. Do you remember do you remember
<v Speaker 1>the w CW faction the Filthy Animals? I do not
<v Speaker 1>my favorite faction in w CW, I will say not
<v Speaker 1>my favorite faction in w CW. Do you remember the
<v Speaker 1>w CW faction three count Evan courageous man. I haven't
<v Speaker 1>thought about that guy in years. Do you remember the
<v Speaker 1>WCW factor of the Revolution, No, I don't. The dead Pool.
<v Speaker 1>That's like late stage WCW where I tried to like
<v Speaker 1>block a lot a lot of that stuff out, So no,
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember that the Deadpool with Raven Vampiro and
<v Speaker 1>the insane clown posse. Uh. Do you remember Scott Steiner's
<v Speaker 1>valet Medaesia? I do, I do? I do remember. I
<v Speaker 1>do remember Medesia? I do. I don't know what she's
<v Speaker 1>up to these days. To read the rest of your
<v Speaker 1>super chats here, got a few more to go through.
<v Speaker 1>Make sure I don't miss anybody here, Joseph, see, I thought, Joseph.
<v Speaker 1>I think Joseph was done, and then he kind of
<v Speaker 1>dumped a few more on me. Here. Have you seen
<v Speaker 1>this iconic picture of Robert de Niro, Harvey Kite, Tell,
<v Speaker 1>Gandel Fini, and Chas Palmonary altogether? Well, I mean, unless
<v Speaker 1>you attach the photo, I can't tell you for sure.
<v Speaker 1>De Niro's performance is al Capone and the Untouchables? Were
<v Speaker 1>you a fan of it? I didn't see it. I
<v Speaker 1>hope you're having a great week, solid monster. Have a
<v Speaker 1>good night, well, Joseph, thank you, thank you very much.
<v Speaker 1>Joseph basically like single handedly bankrolled this entire stream. Tonight,
<v Speaker 1>sod Joseph, you are the man, says also, then, who
<v Speaker 1>are your top ten favorite mob actors of all time.
<v Speaker 1>I don't have a top ten. I see. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if you mean people that have played mobsters or
<v Speaker 1>actual mobsters, because I'm going to give you one answer,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm going to give you the only answer I know,
<v Speaker 1>which is Tony si Rico, Polly Walnuts on the Sopranos.
<v Speaker 1>Who I believe what was the family that he worked for?
<v Speaker 1>He was mobbed up back in the seventies, and I
<v Speaker 1>don't remember exactly which family it was for, but I'll
<v Speaker 1>go with Tony si Rico, But Joseph again, thank you, brother,
<v Speaker 1>appreciate it very much. Let me reload this list here
<v Speaker 1>and see who else we got so I don't miss anybody.
<v Speaker 1>We got a bunch more here. This is good. The Uffman.
<v Speaker 1>Uffman's always showing up and showing out. May twenty seventh,
<v Speaker 1>nineteen ninety six. Scott Hall said, you want to go
<v Speaker 1>to war, you want a war, You're gonna get one.
<v Speaker 1>It's right. Thirty years, brother, thirty years the nWo Power
<v Speaker 1>Spying Games. Congrats to Crystal Palace for winning the Europa
<v Speaker 1>Conference League. Ah, that's a pretty cool name, Crystal Palace.
<v Speaker 1>I guess that's better than Crystal meth. I could use
<v Speaker 1>some of that right now, because I'm fucking dying here
<v Speaker 1>Chicago for MBK feel better. Yeah, thank you. I just
<v Speaker 1>I fucking hate this trying to do shows and do
<v Speaker 1>streams like this when your head feels like it's going
<v Speaker 1>to explode and you're all stuffed up and you're leaking
<v Speaker 1>like a fucking faucet. It's not fun. It's not fun.
<v Speaker 1>Misfit wrestling podcasts New Japan have announced that all AW
<v Speaker 1>content will be leaving NJPW World at the end of June.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even know there was AW content on there.
<v Speaker 1>What AW content? Did they have? A New Japan World?
<v Speaker 1>Leopard toose Okada pressed the wrong button on Solo Bender,
<v Speaker 1>mc simpson, Dynamite and Collision were great tonight. Love the
<v Speaker 1>setup for Osprey and Omega, and it was cool to
<v Speaker 1>see flashbulbs in the crowd again. That might have been
<v Speaker 1>the best part of the entire show seeing the flashbulbs
<v Speaker 1>Ryan Awesome. How's this name for the New Day? The
<v Speaker 1>New Way? I said, the New Dawn. I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>guess the New Way could work unless WWE wanted to
<v Speaker 1>be petty assholes about it say that it's too similar
<v Speaker 1>dry chicken with a couple of super chats. My shower
<v Speaker 1>was very cold after watching TJ in Action, You're going
<v Speaker 1>to be getting a visit soon from some detect tims.
<v Speaker 1>Blackheart Leo Rush is creepy and awesome. I hope he
<v Speaker 1>gets the character going into Halloween season or keeps the
<v Speaker 1>character going into Halloween season. Misfit Wrestling Podcast. I'm surprised
<v Speaker 1>the bizarre nWo story did not get covered on TNT.
<v Speaker 1>That's what the sound off is for. We'll be talking
<v Speaker 1>about that on Sunday Super Pony. As a KO fan,
<v Speaker 1>I'm getting worried that we have not heard anything about
<v Speaker 1>his recovery or potential return losing hope. Should I be worried? No? No,
<v Speaker 1>And everybody also say hello to Jesse the Shytown smart
<v Speaker 1>in the chat. Hi guys, Hi Jesse, I'm sick. I
<v Speaker 1>hope you're feeling better than I am. Wow, I just
<v Speaker 1>I was just kind of speechless at that moment. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't quite know what to say. I'm still kind of speechless.
<v Speaker 1>Holy shit. Wow, that was that was k be good
<v Speaker 1>fifty seven thirty five with a five hundred dollars super
<v Speaker 1>chat bomb. I'm gonna go every fucking holy shit, every
<v Speaker 1>fucking sound effect that you can imagine. Oh my God,
<v Speaker 1>says I've been wanting to send you some lute. This
<v Speaker 1>super chat has been brought to you by DraftKings. You
<v Speaker 1>deserve it is that what happens is you win some
<v Speaker 1>money through DraftKings. That would be kind of funny if
<v Speaker 1>that's where it all came from. Brother. I don't even
<v Speaker 1>know what to say other than holy shit and thank
<v Speaker 1>you that wow wow, Yeah, it's funny. There's been some
<v Speaker 1>five some five hundo bombs over the years. They're rare.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of like a unicorn, like you don't believe
<v Speaker 1>it's real, but then every now and then you kind
<v Speaker 1>of see one. Or maybe you're sick like I am tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe you're just hallucinating. I think for a moment there,
<v Speaker 1>I thought I was hallucinating because maybe it was the
<v Speaker 1>cold medication that is that is in me, that is
<v Speaker 1>coursing through my veins right now. KB. Brother, man, shit,
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate that very much. You are the you are
<v Speaker 1>the king of the streams this week. Now you can
<v Speaker 1>get that extra special tumps. Yes, well, I mentioned earlier.
<v Speaker 1>I have to go to the mechanic in the morning
<v Speaker 1>because I need a new fuel pump because my check
<v Speaker 1>engine light went on the other day. And this was
<v Speaker 1>after the low oil pressure light came on like a
<v Speaker 1>month ago, even though I just got an oil change
<v Speaker 1>like two months ago, and so that that was Thankfully,
<v Speaker 1>that ended up just being a faulty switch. They changed
<v Speaker 1>the switch for like one hundred bucks or whatever it was,
<v Speaker 1>and it's been fine. So I see the check engine
<v Speaker 1>light and I'm like, fuck, So I guess, you know whatever.
<v Speaker 1>They check the codes for whatever is, whatever it means,
<v Speaker 1>and they're like, yeah, the fuel pump. They go, when's
<v Speaker 1>your inspection. I said, oh, it's about a month away.
<v Speaker 1>They go, well, if that check engine light is on,
<v Speaker 1>you're not going to pass inspection. I said, well that's
<v Speaker 1>a problem. I said, well, maybe we should get this
<v Speaker 1>taken care of eight hundred and fifty bucks or a
<v Speaker 1>fucking fuel pump tomorrow. KB thank you, brother man, Thank
<v Speaker 1>you for your podcast for twenty It's almost yeah, believe
<v Speaker 1>it or not, it's almost twenty years. Yeah. Endgames says
<v Speaker 1>now who single handedly carried the show. See, Joseph thought
<v Speaker 1>he was wearing the crown tonight man. He thought he
<v Speaker 1>was the king of the ring. And then in comes
<v Speaker 1>our brother KB, who's like, not so fast. He swiped
<v Speaker 1>that crown right off his head so fast, man, he
<v Speaker 1>got rugburn. It is funny how that works. Well, let
<v Speaker 1>me see where I left off with these super chats
<v Speaker 1>here before we had the bomb dropped on us? Here,
<v Speaker 1>Where did I leave off? Here we go? I think
<v Speaker 1>I was about to answer Super Ponies question about Kevin Owens.
<v Speaker 1>I would not be concerned. I know he's one of
<v Speaker 1>the judges on the new season of LFG. The fact
<v Speaker 1>that you haven't heard any updates on him is not
<v Speaker 1>really indicative of anything, because I would imagine when the
<v Speaker 1>time comes for him to come back, they may well
<v Speaker 1>want it under wraps. You know, they may want him
<v Speaker 1>to come back in secret fashion. But you got to
<v Speaker 1>keep in mind, like the surgery he had, you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>be out for a while. You're gonna be out for
<v Speaker 1>at least a year. And I don't even know if
<v Speaker 1>it's been a full year yet. I'm pretty sure he
<v Speaker 1>didn't actually have the surgery until July of last year,
<v Speaker 1>because remember there was a period of time that went
<v Speaker 1>by where I think there was some swelling and they
<v Speaker 1>had away for the swelling to go down, and then
<v Speaker 1>they went in and did the surgery, and I'm almost
<v Speaker 1>positive it was last summer, so I don't even think
<v Speaker 1>it's been a full year yet since he had surgery,
<v Speaker 1>so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think
<v Speaker 1>he'll be back. He shouldn't rush back, and he's definitely
<v Speaker 1>missed on SmackDown, that's for sure, but it doesn't mean
<v Speaker 1>he's not coming back. Iron Guidgin, thank you for the
<v Speaker 1>two bucks to go towards the fuel pump. Thank you,
<v Speaker 1>Iron Guigen. Dried Chicken says can't wait for the back
<v Speaker 1>room scary movie and Obsession. You haven't seen Obsession yet?
<v Speaker 1>What are you waiting for? Before they take it out
<v Speaker 1>of theaters. You got to go see it in like
<v Speaker 1>a pack theater. See that's a movie where you should
<v Speaker 1>see it in like a pack theater. The reactions from
<v Speaker 1>the people, I almost want to go see it again.
<v Speaker 1>The reactions from the people in the theater during some
<v Speaker 1>of the scenes was almost as good as the scene itself.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's coming out on digital in like a week.
<v Speaker 1>I hope they change that. I really hope they push
<v Speaker 1>the digital release back. I want to see how much
<v Speaker 1>money this movie can make once you release it on digital.
<v Speaker 1>You just kill all of the theater business for it.
<v Speaker 1>This movie is making more money each passing week than
<v Speaker 1>it made the week before, which is like unheard of. Says,
<v Speaker 1>it's the good Sun's scenario. Save one, let the other
<v Speaker 1>one go gold dust or hardcore Holly, you know, hardcore Holly.
<v Speaker 1>I think if I let him go, I think he'd
<v Speaker 1>find a way to kind of cling to the side
<v Speaker 1>of the mountain, and he would find a way to survive.
<v Speaker 1>He's a tough guy. I interviewed him on the SoundOff
<v Speaker 1>many years ago. He was he was a great interview.
<v Speaker 1>He was a great interview And I think I've mentioned
<v Speaker 1>this too, Like I don't remember what year it was
<v Speaker 1>that I interviewed him. It might have been it might
<v Speaker 1>have been about ten years ago, ten or eleven years ago,
<v Speaker 1>but I'll never forget, like it was totally unexpected. But
<v Speaker 1>after my mom died, he was one of the people
<v Speaker 1>I got a text message from, like an actual like
<v Speaker 1>a text message. It was like a long message too,
<v Speaker 1>from like him and his wife, very very nice message.
<v Speaker 1>So I've never forgotten that We've got Rick s Rick
<v Speaker 1>s X in your opinion, was the lead character and
<v Speaker 1>obsession the villain of the movie. Well, I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to get into spoilers. I mean I could have a
<v Speaker 1>whole discussion with you about the about this. I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to get into any spoilers here. I'll just say this,
<v Speaker 1>what you what you believe, is probably what I believe,
<v Speaker 1>and we'll leave it at that. Brian Finelli just wanted
<v Speaker 1>to give you some money for Flintstone vitamins and keep
<v Speaker 1>you here a few moments longer. Thank you, Brian. I
<v Speaker 1>appreciate the support telling even those vitamins are really good.
<v Speaker 1>They're a hell of a lot more interesting than just
<v Speaker 1>plain old cent frum vitamins. Barry MK, do you think
<v Speaker 1>WWE still needs gms? Both of them act the same
<v Speaker 1>and the shows don't fight with each other. I think
<v Speaker 1>the gms are are useful. Put it this way, I think,
<v Speaker 1>okb did they cap you, well, not cap you? You
<v Speaker 1>know what I mean? He says they captive at five hundred. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know. I think the max single super chat that
<v Speaker 1>you can send is five hundred. See. I don't know though,
<v Speaker 1>if that means the cap the single super chat amount
<v Speaker 1>of five hundred, and you can't donate any more for
<v Speaker 1>the rest of the stream or just the one donation
<v Speaker 1>is capped at five hundred, and then you can drop
<v Speaker 1>like more. I'm not saying you drop another five hundred.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying I don't know if five hundred is
<v Speaker 1>the cap for like all super chats for one person
<v Speaker 1>for one stream, I'm not sure. I'm not sure how
<v Speaker 1>that works. But anyway, on the GM stuff, like if
<v Speaker 1>they actually made more use of the GMS in terms
<v Speaker 1>of like trades and things of that nature, then they
<v Speaker 1>would I think in that case they would be a
<v Speaker 1>lot more useful. You know what, I think they're missing.
<v Speaker 1>I think they're missing a good commissioner. There's just certain
<v Speaker 1>commissioners in wrestling who know how to get things done.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying, where did we end up on the likes?
<v Speaker 1>I'm just curious, And you know what, we didn't hit
<v Speaker 1>the goal, but we came a lot closer than I
<v Speaker 1>thought we did. I'll tell you what though. You know what,
<v Speaker 1>I know the goal tonight was five fifteen. But I
<v Speaker 1>gotta tell you I think KB. I think KB just
<v Speaker 1>earned us around to be the booker. I think that
<v Speaker 1>it's the least that we can do here. I think
<v Speaker 1>we need to absolutely have one round of be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker tonight on KB, I guess courtesy of DraftKings. Let's
<v Speaker 1>do it, gentlemen. It is now time to be the Booker.
<v Speaker 1>Oh it's time, all right, it is time. I bet
<v Speaker 1>you didn't think we would be doing this tonight. It
<v Speaker 1>is time for be the Booker, which does not always
<v Speaker 1>happen here on these Dynamite streams, because the Dynamite streams,
<v Speaker 1>as compared to Ron's SmackDown, tend to be pretty fucking dead.
<v Speaker 1>But we're doing it tonight. That's right, KB for the win. KB,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, used to be my favorite toy store.
<v Speaker 1>And now you have people that are gonna watch and
<v Speaker 1>listen to this and go, what the hell's KB? And
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna make me very sad that they never knew
<v Speaker 1>the joy of KB toy and hobby. Do they have
<v Speaker 1>any toy stores anymore? Because oh god, that was not
<v Speaker 1>my intention? Are you not a B the Booker fan? KB?
<v Speaker 1>We can cancel it. We can cancel it right now
<v Speaker 1>here we go. We got Matt Hardy and he got MVP,
<v Speaker 1>the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions. We haven't landed on
<v Speaker 1>them in a while here and be the Booker. They
<v Speaker 1>had a good story going on SmackDown for a while there,
<v Speaker 1>many years ago. Toys are of course, yeah, I used
<v Speaker 1>to shop at Toys r US as well, but KB.
<v Speaker 1>There were things that sometimes Toys r US wouldn't have,
<v Speaker 1>and then KB would. I forced my mother to take
<v Speaker 1>me to KB because it was too far away to walk.
<v Speaker 1>Was it the mall? Ah? Those were the days, the
<v Speaker 1>pure unadulterated joy of just walking through the automatic doors
<v Speaker 1>at Toys r US. I knew exactly what isle I
<v Speaker 1>had to go to, and just running and making a
<v Speaker 1>bline for the isle with the wrestling figures. Oh, those
<v Speaker 1>were the days. Hulk Hogan and Brutus the Barber Beefcake
<v Speaker 1>against Matt Hardy an MVP. I feel like MVP would
<v Speaker 1>probably do a double leg and shoot on Hogan in
<v Speaker 1>this match. It's just a hunch that I have. I
<v Speaker 1>take it he's probably not a Hulk Hogan fan. Women's
<v Speaker 1>be the Booker. I take it MVP may not be
<v Speaker 1>a fan of hers either. We have Tessa Blanchard. Tessa
<v Speaker 1>Blanchard is in Be the Booker boy. Tessa Blanchard At
<v Speaker 1>one time, I would have had her within two or
<v Speaker 1>three years headlining one of the Knights of WrestleMania. Boy,
<v Speaker 1>that fall is going to have to be studied. But
<v Speaker 1>she is going to be stepping into the ring with
<v Speaker 1>Teagan Knocks and I think just as a as a
<v Speaker 1>wrestling match, I have to give that the bell. I
<v Speaker 1>have to give that the bell. I think that would
<v Speaker 1>be a good match. And in our main event we
<v Speaker 1>have are you fucking kidding me? H? Wasn't he in
<v Speaker 1>the main event? When was he in the main event
<v Speaker 1>two weeks ago? Yeah, he wrestled Seth Rollins in the
<v Speaker 1>main event. Now he's in the main event of be
<v Speaker 1>the Booker. We have Austin Theory. Why is he here?
<v Speaker 1>Why is he on my screen? Austin Theory and our
<v Speaker 1>main event we have legends in here. We have a
<v Speaker 1>legend right here, Hiroshi Tanahashi against Austin Theory, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna give it the bell because it's fucking tana Hashi.
<v Speaker 1>But if it was anybody else except Brett, this would
<v Speaker 1>have gone a very different way. I don't know, are
<v Speaker 1>we feeling this main event Tanahashi against Austin Theory as
<v Speaker 1>a main event. I'm not so sure. I'm not so
<v Speaker 1>sure about that. That was not a clean sweet? But
<v Speaker 1>why was it a clean sweet? Oh? Was it clean sweet? Oh?
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry I told you. I'm kind of out to
<v Speaker 1>lunch here tonight. All right, I guess I owe you
<v Speaker 1>a I owe you a sweep, then don't I There
<v Speaker 1>you go. See now you can't say I cheated you
<v Speaker 1>out of your clean sweep sound effect, and Alex says
<v Speaker 1>brother Sola one of my pals, Hirsh is a huge
<v Speaker 1>fan and always misses your streams. Mind giving him a
<v Speaker 1>shout out much love. Shout out to hersh. Why does
<v Speaker 1>he miss my streams? If you're a huge fan, you
<v Speaker 1>make time for the streams. You tell hersh I better.
<v Speaker 1>I expect him in the chat one of these days,
<v Speaker 1>but send him my best. Tell him I appreciate all
<v Speaker 1>of the support, and I appreciate him being a fan.
<v Speaker 1>This is all a fever dream solo. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>I'm dreaming. I feel like I'm seeing things. I'm hoping
<v Speaker 1>on Friday, I see a good wrestling show, because that
<v Speaker 1>is the next time I'm going to be live with
<v Speaker 1>you here on this channel. It will be for smack
<v Speaker 1>Oh good, I reminded myself. So on Friday, SmackDown is
<v Speaker 1>airing from Barcelona, Spain, and as far as I know,
<v Speaker 1>I believe on Netflix internationally it will be airing at
<v Speaker 1>two pm Eastern Time. So if that's the case, yes,
<v Speaker 1>I will watch the show earlier. I'm not going to
<v Speaker 1>go live immediately after. Probably going to go live rent
<v Speaker 1>eight or eight thirty on Friday night because if I
<v Speaker 1>don't have to go live at eleven thirty, I'd rather not,
<v Speaker 1>especially the way I feel, So just be aware of that.
<v Speaker 1>Probably going to go live a few hours earlier than
<v Speaker 1>usual for the SmackDown recap on Friday, and then on
<v Speaker 1>Sunday we have this show right here, actually, we have
<v Speaker 1>Clash in Italy and this is coming up on Sunday
<v Speaker 1>two pm Eastern time. Same thing. I'll probably go live
<v Speaker 1>aront eight. I don't think I'm going to go live
<v Speaker 1>immediately after. I'd rather eat first, So that will be
<v Speaker 1>the plan for Sunday. Plus, of course, because the Clash
<v Speaker 1>in Italy show is taking place on a Sunday at
<v Speaker 1>two o'clock in the afternoon, that kind of fucks me
<v Speaker 1>because that's usually my drop time for the SoundOff. So
<v Speaker 1>the plan is for the SoundOff to go up on
<v Speaker 1>Saturday at some point, So the podcast is probably going
<v Speaker 1>to go up a day early this weekend. So everything,
<v Speaker 1>you know, when they have these international shows and these
<v Speaker 1>international tours, everything just sort of gets upended. So just
<v Speaker 1>be aware of that. Make sure your notification bells are
<v Speaker 1>on that way. If you're not around, then you don't know.
<v Speaker 1>You'll get an alert and you'll know when I'm live.
<v Speaker 1>Justin g says super check cap five hundred a day,
<v Speaker 1>two thousand a week per user. Oh okay, so it
<v Speaker 1>is okay, Well there you go. Now you know five
<v Speaker 1>hundred is the capper per day per person. EJ. Slim.
<v Speaker 1>Would you agree that, besides Steamboat and Bruno, Kobashi was
<v Speaker 1>one of the only lifelong babyfaces in wrestling? I guess he.
<v Speaker 1>I guess he would have been right, and and Speedball
<v Speaker 1>because I don't see Speedball going hell anytime soon. There's
<v Speaker 1>very few people that can claim that Steamboat is one
<v Speaker 1>of the only ones. I guess he would be. I
<v Speaker 1>guess Kobashi would be. Dry Chicken says all wrestlers and
<v Speaker 1>be the booker have been transferred to the back room. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you don't want You don't want to get trapped in
<v Speaker 1>the back rooms. That is not what you want to
<v Speaker 1>be doing. Get some sleep and make some hot green tea.
<v Speaker 1>Hot green tea, I don't have green tea. Sleep doesn't
<v Speaker 1>sound too bad, though, I'll try that. What about Tito Santana.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know Tito every heel in his career, like
<v Speaker 1>even in other territories. I mean, I guess in WWE
<v Speaker 1>he was always a babyface, So yeah, Tito might be
<v Speaker 1>on there. Tito is great. Tito's actually underrated, I think,
<v Speaker 1>for as great as he was. Anyway, thank you guys
<v Speaker 1>for keeping me company and hanging out with me here
<v Speaker 1>on a Wednesday night, and for all of the support
<v Speaker 1>from Joseph and KB and everybody in between. All you guys,
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate it. We can take even a typically slow
<v Speaker 1>night and turn it into a fun night, so that's
<v Speaker 1>what it's all about. I will hopefully see many of
<v Speaker 1>you back here on Friday night again, probably around eight
<v Speaker 1>or eight thirty Eastern time. We'll talk SmackDown because I
<v Speaker 1>plan on watching it early. So maybe if you want to,
<v Speaker 1>you should try to as well, so that way you'll
<v Speaker 1>be all caught up on things when I talk about it.
<v Speaker 1>And then we got a busy weekend coming up with
<v Speaker 1>the podcast, and then clash in Italy, and then we
<v Speaker 1>start all over again. We start with Monday Night Resy.
<v Speaker 1>The cycle never stops, the cycle never ends, it just continues.
<v Speaker 1>It just goes on and on and on. And we
<v Speaker 1>got a whole new week coming up next week, so
<v Speaker 1>be well, stay safe. Yep KB, he swiped the crown
<v Speaker 1>from Joseph. Who's gonna get it next time? I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>but for tonight we know who it belongs to. Have
<v Speaker 1>yourselves a good night. I will see you guys back
<v Speaker 1>here for more sounds off real soon. Till then, take care, guys.
<v Speaker 1>I'm off to the back rooms.
