<v Speaker 1>Only appropriate here for the clash in Italy stream that
<v Speaker 1>we have some music that makes you feel like you're
<v Speaker 1>right at your grandmother's kitchen. Since we can't be there,
<v Speaker 1>in turn with everybody else, I thought I would bring
<v Speaker 1>Italy to all of you. Tonight. We had tribal combat,
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. We weren't sure
<v Speaker 1>what Jacob fought To's status was going to be. Suffered
<v Speaker 1>a back injury the other night at a live event
<v Speaker 1>in a match against Solo Socoa, who I believe he's
<v Speaker 1>going to be seeing quite a bit of on television
<v Speaker 1>very soon, so there was some speculation about what his
<v Speaker 1>condition would be, would he be able to go for
<v Speaker 1>the match. We got the match tonight, and first half
<v Speaker 1>of the match honestly was kind of boring, picked up
<v Speaker 1>nicely a little bit later on. They ended up having
<v Speaker 1>a good match. I'm not going to sit here and
<v Speaker 1>tell you it was anything great, and we had the
<v Speaker 1>very predictable outcome. We had Roman Reigns retaining the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Chainampionship. Jacob fought two drops too straight to the
<v Speaker 1>tribal chief in the same month. This man cannot beat
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns, which of course, now means that Jacob Fought
<v Speaker 1>Two must serve Roman Reigns. Maybe he's going to serve
<v Speaker 1>him an Italian dinner. I don't know. I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>but he's gonna have to serve him. He's going to
<v Speaker 1>have to acknowledge him. That will happen on Raw tomorrow night.
<v Speaker 1>And I watched the end of that match, and again
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't shocked, which is why I went with Roman
<v Speaker 1>and my predictions when I went over the predictions for
<v Speaker 1>this show. But doesn't mean I wasn't disappointed to see it.
<v Speaker 1>I was more disappointed in what we are really looking
<v Speaker 1>at now coming out of the match, because I told
<v Speaker 1>all of you, I said, you know, if Jacob Fought
<v Speaker 1>two were to actually win the World Championship on this show,
<v Speaker 1>as per what Roman Reigns said on television last week,
<v Speaker 1>he would have to fall back. He would fall in
<v Speaker 1>line and basically become number two, and Jacob FAUGHTU would
<v Speaker 1>become essentially the tribal chief, right, he would be the
<v Speaker 1>guy in the driver's seat, and we were still gonna
<v Speaker 1>get bloodline lore and that was not going to go away,
<v Speaker 1>but it would be a little bit of a different
<v Speaker 1>spin on things. Right with Roman having to take a
<v Speaker 1>back seat to somebody else. At least that would freshen
<v Speaker 1>things up, make things a little more interesting. If Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns were to win this match. Well, now you've taken
<v Speaker 1>Jacob Fatu, You've beaten him twice, You've made it very
<v Speaker 1>clear that this man cannot be the world heavyweight champion,
<v Speaker 1>and now he falls in line like everybody else in
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns continues on, you know, doing the same stuff
<v Speaker 1>that Roman Reigns has been doing for the last six years,
<v Speaker 1>and nothing really appreciably changes here. Everything pretty much says
<v Speaker 1>the same. And that's what they did tonight. Roman went
<v Speaker 1>over and he was very full of himself, and he
<v Speaker 1>glances over and who do we see in the crowd
<v Speaker 1>when the match is over, looking at Jacob fought to
<v Speaker 1>and shaking his head like a disappointed dad. Solo Socoa.
<v Speaker 1>The MFTs are in the crowd, and Roman looks over
<v Speaker 1>at them and says, we'll take care of them. They're next.
<v Speaker 1>My heart sank when I heard him say this, and
<v Speaker 1>I realize what it was that we were looking at
<v Speaker 1>here now going forward, or at least what it appears
<v Speaker 1>to be. My heart sank. I felt like I was
<v Speaker 1>being transported back to wargames in twenty twenty four. I
<v Speaker 1>felt like I was actually going backwards. It's like when
<v Speaker 1>you're kind of driving up a very steep hill and
<v Speaker 1>it's as if the engine cuts out on you, and
<v Speaker 1>now you get that feeling like, oh shit, the car's
<v Speaker 1>rolling backwards. That's kind of what I feel like now
<v Speaker 1>with WWE. And I said this on X Twitter whatever,
<v Speaker 1>that a conversation has to be had about this company's
<v Speaker 1>reluctance refusal to shine a spotlight on any other real
<v Speaker 1>majors when it comes. I'm talking about like main event,
<v Speaker 1>top line stories, like the story of the company, right,
<v Speaker 1>because it's been so focused on the Bloodline for so
<v Speaker 1>many years now, and I understand like that was their
<v Speaker 1>golden goose for so long. Not that they still can't
<v Speaker 1>make money off of it, right, but we're far beyond
<v Speaker 1>the peak years of the Bloodline story and it worked
<v Speaker 1>out so well for them for so long, and I
<v Speaker 1>get it, I get it. I understand it. It's like
<v Speaker 1>WCW with the nWo. It worked for them for so
<v Speaker 1>long until it didn't, until it didn't, and they went
<v Speaker 1>so long with it that people got sick. And tired
<v Speaker 1>of it, and they kept adding more members and it
<v Speaker 1>just wasn't the same. And they had strayed so far
<v Speaker 1>away from what had worked with that story when it
<v Speaker 1>first started. And then we ended up with splinter factions
<v Speaker 1>and we had nWo two thousand and I'm like, what
<v Speaker 1>the fuck are we doing here? But they held onto it.
<v Speaker 1>They squeezed it for every last drop they could. This
<v Speaker 1>is WWE's version of that. They can't let go. Everything
<v Speaker 1>has to revolve around the bloodline. The bloodline vortex is real.
<v Speaker 1>It's a real thing, and it's one thing to continue
<v Speaker 1>the bloodline story. It's a completely different thing to focus
<v Speaker 1>so heavily on it that we are still closing shows,
<v Speaker 1>We are still closing ples with Roman Reigns putting his
<v Speaker 1>finger in the air in the usso's flanking him as
<v Speaker 1>his young boys right as Seampunk called them, and new
<v Speaker 1>people falling in line behind Roman and now teasing another
<v Speaker 1>bloodline civil war. And that is how Clash in Italy
<v Speaker 1>went off the air tonight with a very very apparent
<v Speaker 1>tease of a bloodline slash MFT feud yet to come,
<v Speaker 1>potentially with Jacob Fatu being caught in the middle. I
<v Speaker 1>guess that's the interesting little wrinkle that they might be
<v Speaker 1>putting into this. And I'm like, these people can't be serious,
<v Speaker 1>Like you cannot seriously be teasing this. Are we so
<v Speaker 1>devoid of idea? Are we so out of fresh ideas
<v Speaker 1>in this multi billion dollar company with an entire creative team,
<v Speaker 1>that everything is still revolving around the fucking bloodline this
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six when Roman came back as the tribal
<v Speaker 1>chief with Paul Hayman by his side, it was August
<v Speaker 1>of twenty twenty. We are approaching six years, six years
<v Speaker 1>since this whole story started. Remember Roman and Jayu, So
<v Speaker 1>that's where it all began. Six years of this and
<v Speaker 1>they still keep going back to that same well. And
<v Speaker 1>when the show was over again, there was nothing about
<v Speaker 1>the show that made me kind of sit back and
<v Speaker 1>take stock and go, well this this feels fresh, This
<v Speaker 1>feels like something different, This feels like something new. No,
<v Speaker 1>it was more of the same. It was more of
<v Speaker 1>the same. It was your typical wwepl e. It was
<v Speaker 1>your typical you know, bloodline main event. And now we'll
<v Speaker 1>get more of this lore, you know that'll play itself
<v Speaker 1>out on television And look, I don't know where they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna take it. You don't know where they're gonna We
<v Speaker 1>have kind of a sense of where it might go,
<v Speaker 1>and maybe they'll end up taking a detour and it'll
<v Speaker 1>go a completely different way. That's actually interesting and it'll
<v Speaker 1>add a completely new dimension to things. But as things
<v Speaker 1>currently stand, I watched Jacob Fatu lose that match tonight
<v Speaker 1>and I see where they appear to be going with this,
<v Speaker 1>and none of this excites me. And this is what
<v Speaker 1>everything is built around this. This is what they close
<v Speaker 1>the show with, is what they're going to open role
<v Speaker 1>with tomorrow night. And I'm like, they are just so
<v Speaker 1>out of ideas. And to illustrate my point when the
<v Speaker 1>show is over, we had Roman Reigns as the show
<v Speaker 1>was going off the air making comments about QB one
<v Speaker 1>fuck that, I'm the tribal chief, I'm the guy, this
<v Speaker 1>and that, And on the post show they asked Cody
<v Speaker 1>Rhodes about this because Cody didn't hear what Roman had
<v Speaker 1>Sae said, and Cody made some comments about Roman, Right,
<v Speaker 1>I'm hard to be easy to find, hard to beats.
<v Speaker 1>You know, if he wants to get in the line,
<v Speaker 1>I'll give him a rematch too, you know, because we're
<v Speaker 1>one win apiece. He kicked my ass, I kicked his ass.
<v Speaker 1>He wants in line, go ahead, step in line. And
<v Speaker 1>then they had a little face to face confrontation. They
<v Speaker 1>ran into each other in the back. No words were exchanged,
<v Speaker 1>but it was sort of a glance and then Cody
<v Speaker 1>walked off, so leaning into the tease of yet another
<v Speaker 1>match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. And I don't
<v Speaker 1>know when that match would come. That could be the
<v Speaker 1>Crown Jewel match, if we assume there's going to be
<v Speaker 1>a Crown Jewel Show in Saudi later this year. If
<v Speaker 1>things were to stay exactly the way they are right now,
<v Speaker 1>you got Roman Reigns as the champion on one brand,
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhodes of the champion on the other brand. As
<v Speaker 1>of this moment, we are headed for a Crown Jewel
<v Speaker 1>title match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. Do I
<v Speaker 1>think they'll still be champion by that point? Probably not,
<v Speaker 1>But that's the way things are shaping up. Maybe it's
<v Speaker 1>not Crowned. Maybe they're giving a little hint of what's
<v Speaker 1>to come at Saudi Mania next year. And look, the
<v Speaker 1>first two matches that Roman and Cody had were great matches.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying that they were bad matches, But what
<v Speaker 1>I'm saying is you find all these examples where it
<v Speaker 1>just feels like you're watching shit on a loop. Nothing
<v Speaker 1>ever really feels like it changes. They're running, They're running
<v Speaker 1>the greatest hits basically of the last few years, over
<v Speaker 1>and over again. You just get to a point where
<v Speaker 1>it's like, is this really exciting anymore? Is this really
<v Speaker 1>what we're building to? Is this what the next six
<v Speaker 1>to twelve months of WWE television is going to look like?
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns is still the World Heavyweight Champion, Cody Roads
<v Speaker 1>is still the WWE Champion. I thought we would get
<v Speaker 1>I didn't think both titles would change hands. I thought,
<v Speaker 1>if anything, one title would change hands, I thought it
<v Speaker 1>would be Cody's belt. As it turned out, none of
<v Speaker 1>the top titles changed hands tonight. One of the women's
<v Speaker 1>mid card championships that changed hands. That was it. But
<v Speaker 1>speaking of the Cody match, we had a controversial finish
<v Speaker 1>to the WWE title match. Gunther lost the man who
<v Speaker 1>had not lost a single match since losing the CM
<v Speaker 1>punk at Summer Slam last year. The man who sent
<v Speaker 1>John Cena off into the sunset, who sent aj Styles
<v Speaker 1>off into the sunset, has now lost, and he lost
<v Speaker 1>in the most unremarkable way to Cody Roads. It was
<v Speaker 1>one of those finishes where you saw it and it's like, eh,
<v Speaker 1>what what was it when this happen here? But they
<v Speaker 1>did it in the way because they want to run
<v Speaker 1>it back again. That's probably going to be your Night
<v Speaker 1>of Champions main event. So now they get to do
<v Speaker 1>Cody and gun through at least one more time. But yes,
<v Speaker 1>in the meantime, Gunther has lost on a controversial finish
<v Speaker 1>at the end of that opening match tonight. Then we
<v Speaker 1>had what they were billing as the rematch of the century,
<v Speaker 1>the greatest rematch in wrestling history. He beat Goldberg too, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>well fuck Goldberg. We had what they called the biggest
<v Speaker 1>rematch of all time, Brock Lesnar against Obafemi Part two.
<v Speaker 1>And I laid out a whole thing going into this
<v Speaker 1>about why Obafemi did not have to lose this match.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, sure he might, but I think everybody was
<v Speaker 1>assuming that, Okay, Brock's back, We're gonna get the trilogy.
<v Speaker 1>So so Brock has to win match number two and I'm like, no,
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't. He doesn't have to lose match too. This
<v Speaker 1>is actually a perfectly fine story you can tell where
<v Speaker 1>he wins match number two and then he goes on
<v Speaker 1>to win match number three as well. And of course
<v Speaker 1>WWE did what you would expect WWE to do, and
<v Speaker 1>they had Brock Lesnar beat Obafemi. So not only did
<v Speaker 1>Gunther suffer his first loss tonight in almost a year,
<v Speaker 1>Obafemi suffered his first loss on the main roster. Now
<v Speaker 1>they went out there and they had what I thought
<v Speaker 1>was a really fun match, had an excellent match, a
<v Speaker 1>better match than the one they had at wrestle Media,
<v Speaker 1>although not that much longer. The WrestleMania match was about
<v Speaker 1>four minutes. This one was about six. It didn't even
<v Speaker 1>go full two minutes longer. It was marginally longer, but
<v Speaker 1>it was all action from bell to bell. You know
<v Speaker 1>what it reminded me of, speaking of Goldberg, it reminded
<v Speaker 1>me of the Goldberg Brock match from WrestleMania thirty three,
<v Speaker 1>which also went six minutes, and that was all action
<v Speaker 1>from bell to bell. It was finished her spam, but
<v Speaker 1>it was exactly what it needed to be. That's exactly
<v Speaker 1>what this match was six minutes smash Mouth Rock wins,
<v Speaker 1>same outcome, and so now of course they're not at
<v Speaker 1>up one win apiece, so ge I wonder how this
<v Speaker 1>is going to end. Of course, they're going to run
<v Speaker 1>it back at Summer Slim. Although there is a little wrinkle.
<v Speaker 1>There is a little wrinkle in things. I'll talk about
<v Speaker 1>that here in a second. We had two very good
<v Speaker 1>women's title matches on this show. Jade Car Gill had
<v Speaker 1>what I thought was the best match that I've ever
<v Speaker 1>seen her have in her career in yet another loss
<v Speaker 1>to Rhea Ripley, which is exactly what it needed to be.
<v Speaker 1>And soul Ruka is the brand new Women's Intercontinental Champion.
<v Speaker 1>She finally won one. I mean, Becky was making fun
<v Speaker 1>of her on television for weeks and she was winless.
<v Speaker 1>Not only did she win, she actually hit her finish
<v Speaker 1>and it looked good, so good for her. So she
<v Speaker 1>is now the Women's Intercontinental Champion. This show, I thought, overall,
<v Speaker 1>it was actually it was a good show if you
<v Speaker 1>base it entirely on the inn ring, if you look
<v Speaker 1>at the matches that we got tonight, because like storyline wise,
<v Speaker 1>there was nothing here. But if you look at the
<v Speaker 1>Inn Ring. I can't say it was a bad show.
<v Speaker 1>It was a bad show in certain other ways, but
<v Speaker 1>in terms of the matches we got it. It was
<v Speaker 1>good in terms of the Inn Ring. Now on the
<v Speaker 1>post show, we got the brackets for the King and
<v Speaker 1>Queen of the Ring tournaments, which are going to commence
<v Speaker 1>this week on television. The finals will take place in
<v Speaker 1>Riot at Night of champions. The winners of each tournament
<v Speaker 1>will then get a world championship opportunity at Summer Slim. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so they've already laid all of that out. They are
<v Speaker 1>doing fatal four ways instead of doing singles matches, which
<v Speaker 1>is again I wish they would do straight singles matches. Here,
<v Speaker 1>this is how they do things. If it's not a
<v Speaker 1>fatal four way, it's a triple threat. And they do
<v Speaker 1>it because they have no fucking balls. They don't have
<v Speaker 1>balls to beat people with names. They don't want to
<v Speaker 1>beat them straight up. So what do you do when
<v Speaker 1>you put some of these big names in these tournament matches, Well,
<v Speaker 1>you make it a three way or you make it
<v Speaker 1>a four way, so that way you can protect them
<v Speaker 1>because again they have no balls. So in this tournament
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna have a bunch of fatal four way matches.
<v Speaker 1>Let me show you the Queen of the Ring bracket first.
<v Speaker 1>All right, we're gonna start with this. This is the
<v Speaker 1>bracket for the Queen of the Ring tournament. And I
<v Speaker 1>would like to draw your attention if I may, to
<v Speaker 1>the top left corner of your screen. Yes, you are
<v Speaker 1>not seeing things. That is the Women's World Champion, Live Morgan,
<v Speaker 1>who is entered into the Queen of the Ring tournament. Now.
<v Speaker 1>On the post show, Live was there. She didn't have
<v Speaker 1>a match tonight because they haven't done fuck all with
<v Speaker 1>her since WrestleMania, but she was there, and so they
<v Speaker 1>had her go out and explain on the post show
<v Speaker 1>that she wanted to enter herself into the Queen of
<v Speaker 1>the Ring because she wants it all. I want it
<v Speaker 1>all because that's the There's no other way to explain it.
<v Speaker 1>It's the only way you could possibly explain her being
<v Speaker 1>in this tournament. You'll notice she's in the tournament, but
<v Speaker 1>I don't see Rhea Ripley in this tournament. In fact,
<v Speaker 1>if you look at the King of the Ring tournament,
<v Speaker 1>there's no Men's World Champion in there, but there's Live Morgan.
<v Speaker 1>Why the fuck she needed to be in the Queen
<v Speaker 1>of the Ring tournament. I have no idea. Maybe it'll
<v Speaker 1>set up an actual feud for her on the raw
<v Speaker 1>side coming out of this, because she certainly had none
<v Speaker 1>since WrestleMania. With any luck, we'll get Stephanie Vacare back
<v Speaker 1>on TV, so this woman could actually have something to do.
<v Speaker 1>So that was the first weird fucking thing I noticed
<v Speaker 1>here in this bracket. And I got to be honest
<v Speaker 1>with you, when I initially looked at this, I looked
<v Speaker 1>at this the wrong way, and I foolishly I was like, wow,
<v Speaker 1>I go look at all these matches that we have.
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking at this bracket when I first laid eyes
<v Speaker 1>on it, and I thought they were singles match. So
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, wow, Live Morgan against Becky Lynch. And we
<v Speaker 1>have what else we have here? We have Charlotte Flair
<v Speaker 1>against Jade Cargill one on one. My goodness, look at
<v Speaker 1>these matches that we have. And then I realize, ah, fuck,
<v Speaker 1>it's a bunch of fucking four ways. But yes, they
<v Speaker 1>are putting Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill in the same
<v Speaker 1>four way match, and it's not at all surprise that
<v Speaker 1>these two would be, you know, wrestling coming out of
<v Speaker 1>this show. But what I was not expecting was that
<v Speaker 1>they would be part of the same opening round match,
<v Speaker 1>which means that at least one of them, if not
<v Speaker 1>both of them, are getting batter bounced in the opening
<v Speaker 1>round here. So yes, that's one interesting thing. When you
<v Speaker 1>look at the bracket, We've got Charlotte and Jade in
<v Speaker 1>that match. You look at the other side of the bracket,
<v Speaker 1>we got Eosky and Julia, They're gonna be in the
<v Speaker 1>same match along with Lash legend in Rox, Sane Perez Bailey,
<v Speaker 1>Raquel Rodriguez, j C Jane, Keana James. And then to
<v Speaker 1>go back to the other side, Live Morgan, Becky Lanch,
<v Speaker 1>Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green, which means Alexa Bliss and
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte Flair could very well end up in the semi
<v Speaker 1>finals against each other, which is kind of interesting. You know,
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking at this and I'll be able to go
<v Speaker 1>into more detail about this, you know, during the week.
<v Speaker 1>It's I analyze this further, but just taking a cursory
<v Speaker 1>look at what we have here, it just seemed to
<v Speaker 1>me the Summer Slam match on the SmackDown side, Rhea
<v Speaker 1>Ripley against Charlotte Flair is the one that makes sense. Now.
<v Speaker 1>That doesn't mean Charlotte to win Queen of the Ring,
<v Speaker 1>although I would say with the raw women's champion being
<v Speaker 1>in this tournament, probably a better chance of someone from
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown winning. So Charlotte Flair has to be the favorite.
<v Speaker 1>Doesn't mean she has to win it, but I would
<v Speaker 1>say that she's got to be the favorite right now
<v Speaker 1>to win this thing. You can't count out Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 1>because Becky Lynch is no longer the Intercontinental champions. So
<v Speaker 1>you wonder if they took the belt off of her
<v Speaker 1>to move her into a position where she could challenge
<v Speaker 1>for the world title. That's a possibility, I suppose, although honestly,
<v Speaker 1>it would make more sense for Live to drop the
<v Speaker 1>belt back to Stephanie before summer. Slimy do Stephanie and Becky,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't know that I see them doing that.
<v Speaker 1>But to me, it's Charlotte. You got EO and the
<v Speaker 1>other one, and I mentioned her name the other day,
<v Speaker 1>jac Jane. Don't count out jac Jane. She's my dark
<v Speaker 1>horse pick here for this tournament. The other names I'm
<v Speaker 1>looking at here outside of Charlotte Eo and jac I
<v Speaker 1>don't think they have a chance, But this is what
<v Speaker 1>the women's bracket looks like. Now, let's flip over to
<v Speaker 1>the King of the Ring tournament bracket. This one was
<v Speaker 1>even more confusing to me when I initially looked at
<v Speaker 1>it and I thought I was looking at a bunch
<v Speaker 1>of singles matches. I'm like, why the fuck would you
<v Speaker 1>be doing Oba Femi against Penta in the opening round
<v Speaker 1>of this tournament? And then again I realized that we're
<v Speaker 1>looking at a bunch of four ways here. Oba Femi
<v Speaker 1>is in the King of the Ring. But after what
<v Speaker 1>they did tonight, how much worse would it be if
<v Speaker 1>they were not doing a third match with Brock? Think
<v Speaker 1>about that. If Oba is in this tournament and you're
<v Speaker 1>of the opinion that Oba Femi should be winning the
<v Speaker 1>King of the Ring, how the fuck does it make
<v Speaker 1>any sense for him to go in there tonight and
<v Speaker 1>lose to Brock Lesner. You've got to do the third match. Now,
<v Speaker 1>you can't not do the third match, which means Oba's
<v Speaker 1>in here. Obviously, a fatal four way makes it a
<v Speaker 1>little bit easier for him to lose because he's not
<v Speaker 1>being beaten directly, because again, no fucking balls, Not that
<v Speaker 1>I want to see that, but I'm just saying that's
<v Speaker 1>why they do this. But these are the matches Obafemi, Penta,
<v Speaker 1>Solo Socoa and Carmelo Hayes. Then we have Dominic Mysterio
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker, Trick Williams and Damian Priest. Other side of
<v Speaker 1>the bracket we have seth Rollins, Javan Evans, Talatonga and
<v Speaker 1>Ricky Saints. You can imagine my confusion when I thought
<v Speaker 1>this was singles matches and I saw Ricky Saints against
<v Speaker 1>Tala Tonga, I was like, who put this bracket together?
<v Speaker 1>And then we have jay usso La Knight, Royce Keys
<v Speaker 1>and Finn Balor or shall I say Pinbalor because he's
<v Speaker 1>not winning a damn thing. Honestly, my first thought and
<v Speaker 1>looking at this, I think they may be setting up
<v Speaker 1>for a bron breaker seth Rawlins final. And if that's
<v Speaker 1>what they're setting up for, then we may be looking
<v Speaker 1>at Roman reigns and seth Rawlins at Summer Slim that
<v Speaker 1>may well be your world heavyweight championsh imagine Summer Slim
<v Speaker 1>this year. Seth Rollins against Roman Reigns. That to me,
<v Speaker 1>just looking at this initially here just seems like the
<v Speaker 1>likeliest scenario. I know, all the La Night fans are
<v Speaker 1>not gonna want to hear that, but I mean again,
<v Speaker 1>let's let's just be honest. He's probably not even making
<v Speaker 1>it out of the first round. Okay. It's just it's very,
<v Speaker 1>very unlikely that that's going to happen. But I think
<v Speaker 1>that may be what we're looking at here. I'm just
<v Speaker 1>I'm taking a look at all these names. Trick williams
<v Speaker 1>Ain't going to Summer Slam for the world title, Talatanga,
<v Speaker 1>Ricky Sains, Damian pre jay Usso you can knock so
<v Speaker 1>many of these names right out right off the bat. Dominic, Mysterio, Solo, Socoa,
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god. Okay, so let's go back to what
<v Speaker 1>we saw at the end of the show tonight. Can
<v Speaker 1>you fucking imagine can you fucking imagine them setting up
<v Speaker 1>King Solo to challenge Roman Reigns again at Summer Slam
<v Speaker 1>for the World Heavyweight champion ship. I mean, probably not,
<v Speaker 1>but this is a possibility, now, this is a very
<v Speaker 1>real possibility. Now I don't even want to think about that.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even want to think about that anyway. These
<v Speaker 1>are the brackets, you know, I don't know. There's some
<v Speaker 1>questions with these brackets obviously, and there's the potential. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, there's the potential for some good matches in there. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I like King of the Ring. I'm a fan of
<v Speaker 1>King of the Ring. I want them to continue to
<v Speaker 1>do it every year. But I have some questions and
<v Speaker 1>we'll explore some of them as we go along here
<v Speaker 1>and we get into some of these match results. I
<v Speaker 1>want to come back to the Obafemi stuff here in
<v Speaker 1>a little bit, but let's go through this entire thing. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>this is your Clash in Italy twenty twenty six review.
<v Speaker 1>I am the solemn monster here as we close out
<v Speaker 1>what has been a very good month of May here
<v Speaker 1>on the channel. I thank you for joining me here
<v Speaker 1>on a Sunday night. Usually the sound of drops on Sundays.
<v Speaker 1>Sound Off episode nine to sixty five dropped on Saturday instead,
<v Speaker 1>So if you missed it, you got a full podcast
<v Speaker 1>to go back and check out. But do me a
<v Speaker 1>favor right now, Hit that subscribe button, hit that like button.
<v Speaker 1>Superchats are open, thankfully. Our bonus Superchat goal Counter is
<v Speaker 1>now working again. It was broken for the last week.
<v Speaker 1>People were dropping bombs and then the number was still
<v Speaker 1>stuck on zero. But thankfully it's actually working now. I'll
<v Speaker 1>be yes, superchats are open. I'll be reading all of
<v Speaker 1>your messages as they come in, so go ahead and
<v Speaker 1>get them on in, and let's find out what the
<v Speaker 1>likes goal is going to be here for Clash in Italy,
<v Speaker 1>shall we. It would be kind of sad if we
<v Speaker 1>went through a Clash in Italy review and we didn't
<v Speaker 1>have a chance to do be the booker. Let's see
<v Speaker 1>what we need. Five point fifteen heyrhyes, Brown, just subscribe
<v Speaker 1>to the channel. Everybody to welcome Reese. Well, we're already
<v Speaker 1>closing in on four hundred likes, so I mean if
<v Speaker 1>five point fifteen should be a shoe in, take those thumbs,
<v Speaker 1>put them to good use, and let's see if we
<v Speaker 1>can break the goal. Lord of Dogtown says the vision
<v Speaker 1>shit bores me to death. I would rather watch Sola
<v Speaker 1>Monster take a ship. Nah. I don't think you would.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think you would. It is it is boring, though,
<v Speaker 1>Thank you Nico Nico Samuel dropping a twenty dollars super chef,
<v Speaker 1>thank you brother, hashtag king solo trending worldwide. Let's not
<v Speaker 1>put let's not put that into the universe. Can we
<v Speaker 1>not do that? Can we not put that into the universe?
<v Speaker 1>So Clash in Italy to that, in case you didn't know,
<v Speaker 1>was brought to you by Scary Movie because that was
<v Speaker 1>the giant logo on the mat and they had a
<v Speaker 1>bunch of previews for Scary Movie. So Scary I think
<v Speaker 1>Scary Movie is what coming out this Friday. I think
<v Speaker 1>right same day as Masters of the Universe. I think
<v Speaker 1>they opened on ESPN with Cody Rhodes defending the WWE
<v Speaker 1>Championship against Gunther And you knew from the opening entrances
<v Speaker 1>here on the show. I haven't mentioned the crowd yet.
<v Speaker 1>You knew from the opening entrances on this show that
<v Speaker 1>this crowd was going to be something special, and they were.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm sure people will be comparing the crowd in
<v Speaker 1>Italy tonight to the crowd in Leon, France for Backlash
<v Speaker 1>a couple of years ago. That was a great crowd,
<v Speaker 1>and this show had a great crowd as well. They
<v Speaker 1>were chanting, they were singing, they were up for everything,
<v Speaker 1>well most everything, most everything on this show. Actually, there
<v Speaker 1>were various points during the main event where they were
<v Speaker 1>actually quiet more so than they were for any other
<v Speaker 1>match on the show, which was kind of surprising, but
<v Speaker 1>then again not really because they were definitely boring stretches
<v Speaker 1>of that main event. Gunther's song has no words, and
<v Speaker 1>somehow the crowd was singing him to the ring. Very impressive.
<v Speaker 1>Cody Roads wore his WrestleMania a skull mask for his entrance,
<v Speaker 1>and they mentioned that these two were also the most
<v Speaker 1>two recent King of the Ring tournament winners. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if they mentioned the fact that they also had
<v Speaker 1>a magic Crown jewel a couple of years ago, which
<v Speaker 1>Cody won. So some things never change. But yes, Cody
<v Speaker 1>Roads one King of the Ring last year and gun
<v Speaker 1>thro one King of the Ring the year before that.
<v Speaker 1>That is true. So the fans were reacting to basically
<v Speaker 1>everything these guys were doing. Gunter cut off a Cody
<v Speaker 1>Cutter attempt by chopping him down, and he was dominating
<v Speaker 1>the early portion of the match until Cody caught him
<v Speaker 1>with a power slam and that he hit him with
<v Speaker 1>a pedigree for a near fall. Gun through with a
<v Speaker 1>power bomb and a stack for a near fall of
<v Speaker 1>his own. He went for a diving splash off the top.
<v Speaker 1>Cody gout then knees up, followed that with a disaster
<v Speaker 1>kick and then a crossroads, but only for a two count,
<v Speaker 1>So Cody went for another Cody cutter. He got caught though,
<v Speaker 1>in a sleeper hold, and Cody was struggling. He was
<v Speaker 1>trying to get out of it. Gunther got it reapplied,
<v Speaker 1>though when he did get out of it, Cody got
<v Speaker 1>back up to his feet, he fell backwards and he
<v Speaker 1>broke the hold. But again Gunther locked in the sleeper.
<v Speaker 1>This time he got the body scissors applied. Cody looked
<v Speaker 1>a little bit like he might be fading, but he
<v Speaker 1>managed to get his foot on the bottom rope for
<v Speaker 1>the break. So they got up and we had a
<v Speaker 1>chop battle here between these two men. Cody dropped him
<v Speaker 1>with a Cody cutter, then he dropped him with a
<v Speaker 1>hard clothes line, and he hit a second crossroads. Now,
<v Speaker 1>after Gunther landed on the crossroads, you could tell that
<v Speaker 1>something was about to go down here because he had
<v Speaker 1>to position his body a little bit closer to the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>He wasn't quite close enough to the ropes so he
<v Speaker 1>kind of moved his body over a little bit and
<v Speaker 1>I thought a rope break was coming. Yeah, I thought
<v Speaker 1>he was going to put his foot on the bottom
<v Speaker 1>rope or something. Instead, Cody covered him, He hooked the
<v Speaker 1>leg right, He covers him, and he pinned him. Even
<v Speaker 1>though even from the initial camera angle you could kind
<v Speaker 1>of tell Gunther put his right foot under the bottom rope,
<v Speaker 1>his foot was under the rope. Referee didn't see it,
<v Speaker 1>so his foot was under the rope. The referee kept
<v Speaker 1>counting and Gunher was trying to plead his case. When
<v Speaker 1>the match was over and they showed, you know, a
<v Speaker 1>replay of what happened, the foot was indeed under the
<v Speaker 1>bottom rope. But when the referee counted two, Cody pulled back.
<v Speaker 1>He kind of leaned to the left. He pulled back
<v Speaker 1>on Gunther's other leg and it caused Gunph's right leg
<v Speaker 1>to come up, so it was no longer under the rope,
<v Speaker 1>and the referee counted three and that was it, and
<v Speaker 1>just like that, Cody Rhoades retains the WWE Championship. The
<v Speaker 1>referee was having none of what Gunther was selling. Referee's
<v Speaker 1>decision only when they feel like it Obviously, we have
<v Speaker 1>situations where another referee sometimes will come out. That only
<v Speaker 1>happens when they feel like it. Most of the time, though,
<v Speaker 1>the referee's decision is supposed to be final. And that
<v Speaker 1>was it, and Gunther stormed off a very underwhelming finish
<v Speaker 1>to what I thought otherwise was a good match for
<v Speaker 1>the time they got, which was not nearly enough. They
<v Speaker 1>gave these guys eleven minutes. But the WWE Championship match
<v Speaker 1>on this show, they gave these guys eleven minutes. And
<v Speaker 1>this is the problem with being in that opening match
<v Speaker 1>on the ESPN hour. They don't give you as much
<v Speaker 1>time as you would get later in the show. You're
<v Speaker 1>very limited, or you're more limited in the time that
<v Speaker 1>you have when you have two matches, and of course
<v Speaker 1>in between the matches you got fucking twenty five minutes
<v Speaker 1>of fucking ads and entrances, so you only have so
<v Speaker 1>much time in that ESPN hour. These guys got eleven minutes.
<v Speaker 1>And part of it also was okay, this is the
<v Speaker 1>first clearly they're going to run this back again, and
<v Speaker 1>they didn't want to ge too much away, right, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not saying they had to go twenty five minutes eleven
<v Speaker 1>fucking minutes. I mean, you're only gonna get so much
<v Speaker 1>in eleven minutes. I thought for the eleven minutes that
<v Speaker 1>we got it was good, but it was not nearly
<v Speaker 1>enough time as far as the finish is concerned. Look,
<v Speaker 1>if they if they were gonna beat Gunther, there had
<v Speaker 1>to at least be some controversy to it. There was
<v Speaker 1>controversy to it. I just thought the way that it
<v Speaker 1>came off and the way that they did it was
<v Speaker 1>very lame. It was just very lame. Like when I
<v Speaker 1>watched it, it took me a few seconds to process,
<v Speaker 1>like wait what, And then when I realized what they
<v Speaker 1>had done, I was like, that's it. It's fucking lame.
<v Speaker 1>You know. I understand they want to run this back
<v Speaker 1>again at some point, but I don't know. I just
<v Speaker 1>think the way it came off and the way they
<v Speaker 1>chose to do it very very underwhelming, very underwhelming. And
<v Speaker 1>also I guess they wanted to do it this way
<v Speaker 1>instead of having him put his foot on the rope,
<v Speaker 1>because in the very next match they were doing the
<v Speaker 1>rope stuff with Jade and Rhea foot on the rope,
<v Speaker 1>foot not on the rope, foot on the rope. Foot
<v Speaker 1>not on the rope. They did this in back to
<v Speaker 1>back matches, so in this case they had him put
<v Speaker 1>his foot under the rope. I guess just to be
<v Speaker 1>a little bit different. These two work well together. I
<v Speaker 1>don't mind them, you know, running it back again. But
<v Speaker 1>for this show man, this was a groner is what
<v Speaker 1>this was. And I am not a fan of beating Gunther.
<v Speaker 1>I am not a fan of beating him in the
<v Speaker 1>way that they did, and that this is how he
<v Speaker 1>suffers that first loss since he became this you know,
<v Speaker 1>kind of unstoppable force on the roster. He just got
<v Speaker 1>moved over to the SmackDown brand, his first big match
<v Speaker 1>on SmackDown, and they fucking beat him. Controversy or not,
<v Speaker 1>That's not something that I would have done. Obviously they
<v Speaker 1>felt differently. After this, we had a WRESTLEMANI a rematch
<v Speaker 1>with Rhea Ripley defending the WWE Women's Championship against Jade Cargill.
<v Speaker 1>These two got more time than Cody and Gunther did.
<v Speaker 1>But to be fair, this was the blowoff. Whereas the
<v Speaker 1>Cody and Gunther thing that was the first match. Rio
<v Speaker 1>was super old and when is she not super over?
<v Speaker 1>Jade got good heat. Ria was super over. They mentioned
<v Speaker 1>her grandparents were from Italy and then later moved to Australia,
<v Speaker 1>so she has some roots there and Jade was dominant
<v Speaker 1>for the early part of this match. Here she charged
<v Speaker 1>it Rhea in the corner. Rea moved and Jade posted
<v Speaker 1>herself shoulder first. Jay ducked out to the floor. Ripley
<v Speaker 1>followed her with a cannon ball off the apron, which
<v Speaker 1>she had tried earlier in the show didn't work. This
<v Speaker 1>time it did. Back inside, Ripley tried for a razor's edge. Cargil,
<v Speaker 1>though backdropped out of it. Riea then dropped her with
<v Speaker 1>a boot. Both ladies were down and then they both
<v Speaker 1>rose up. We got the ya boo dueling strikes. Ripley
<v Speaker 1>escaped the Jaded attempt, she got off a razor's edge
<v Speaker 1>and then Riha got her up in an electric chair.
<v Speaker 1>What ended up happening, though, is Jade flipped them both
<v Speaker 1>over the top rope Ria, though landed on her feet,
<v Speaker 1>still had Jade on her shoulders, and then dropped her
<v Speaker 1>down face first onto the ring apron. So back inside,
<v Speaker 1>Ripley went for riptide again. Jade escaped. She went for jaded.
<v Speaker 1>This time, Rihea escaped, Jade countered the counter into a
<v Speaker 1>spike DDT for a near fall, and then Jade followed
<v Speaker 1>with a blue thunderbomb for another near fall. Jade went
<v Speaker 1>for something off the top. Riha, though, cut her off
<v Speaker 1>and delivered a backdrop superplex, and she folded this woman's
<v Speaker 1>neck up real good only for a two count though,
<v Speaker 1>And so here comes Meechin and Befab, So now fuckery
<v Speaker 1>is abound. And here they come down to the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Jade connects on a pump kick. Ripley, though, escapes another
<v Speaker 1>Jaded attempt into a roll through, and then she jumps
<v Speaker 1>up and does the double stomp to the chest. Rhea
<v Speaker 1>finally hits riptide and Jade lands close to where the
<v Speaker 1>ropes are, which also happens to be the same side
<v Speaker 1>of the ring where Meechin and BFAB are outside. So
<v Speaker 1>Ria goes to make the cover and BFAB was supposed
<v Speaker 1>to place Jade's foot on the bottom rope right, which
<v Speaker 1>seems like a very simple spot. So she had one
<v Speaker 1>job and she fucked it up because in fact, BFAB
<v Speaker 1>did not place Jade's foot on the bottom rope. She
<v Speaker 1>kind of sort of reached in to do it, and
<v Speaker 1>then realized that her foot was too far away, and
<v Speaker 1>then she kind of panicked and she went to do it.
<v Speaker 1>The referee had to hold up his count, so the
<v Speaker 1>referee stops his count. Jade had presence of mind to
<v Speaker 1>also put her foot on the rope, so they tried
<v Speaker 1>to save the spot. But yeah, this did not look good.
<v Speaker 1>Suffice it to say this did not look good. So
<v Speaker 1>the referee then ejected Meechin and bfab, who turned around
<v Speaker 1>to find Charlotte Flair diving off the barricade, taking both
<v Speaker 1>of them down with a crossbody. That's revenge, I guess
<v Speaker 1>for what Jade did to Alexa Bliss on SmackDown. This week,
<v Speaker 1>Jade finally hit Jaded again near the ropes, and this
<v Speaker 1>time Charlotte took Rhea's foot very easily and placed it
<v Speaker 1>on the bottom rope for the rope break, so she
<v Speaker 1>prevented Jade from regaining the championship. There. Ria then hit
<v Speaker 1>one last riptide and pin Jade to retain outside of
<v Speaker 1>that unfortunate botch there towards the end, which wasn't their fault.
<v Speaker 1>This is very good. I would even go as far
<v Speaker 1>as to say this is the best Jade Cargill match
<v Speaker 1>in her WWE run, And this is the best Jade
<v Speaker 1>Cargill match probably that she's had in her entire career.
<v Speaker 1>Her and Ria, they just they have a certain chemistry
<v Speaker 1>where they work well together. Part of it is Riha.
<v Speaker 1>But you can't just say it's all Ria because again,
<v Speaker 1>like you're in there with another person, right, You've got
<v Speaker 1>a dance part. You've got to be able to do
<v Speaker 1>the dances, you know what I mean. Like, you can't
<v Speaker 1>just say, well, you do all the work, because I
<v Speaker 1>know some people are going to look at this and go, well,
<v Speaker 1>you know, it's all Ria. That's why it was so good.
<v Speaker 1>Like no, it's because Aria and Jade and they work
<v Speaker 1>well together. They had a good match at WrestleMania. This
<v Speaker 1>one was very good. This one was better than their
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania match. So you got to give credit where credit
<v Speaker 1>is due. So the best match that Jade has had
<v Speaker 1>in the cut. Now you could say that it's still
<v Speaker 1>below you know, some of the elite women in the company,
<v Speaker 1>But who gives a shit in this match? I thought
<v Speaker 1>they had a very good one. Now, I will point
<v Speaker 1>out that they got seventeen minutes. They gave these two women.
<v Speaker 1>Stead they gave them six minutes more than Cody and
<v Speaker 1>Gunther had okay for their match, so it probably was
<v Speaker 1>Jade's longest singles match of her career. I don't remember
<v Speaker 1>her having a singles match fucking seventeen minutes long, right,
<v Speaker 1>find me one like that. Jade attacked Charlotte backstage after.
<v Speaker 1>I think they showed that on the post show. And
<v Speaker 1>again they're part I'll put the bracket have one more
<v Speaker 1>time here. They're part of the same opening fatal four
<v Speaker 1>way match here in the Queen of the Ring tournament.
<v Speaker 1>I was actually thinking, you know, before I saw this bracket,
<v Speaker 1>I was thinking that they were actually preparing for Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>and Jade in the finals. Which, yeah, maybe some people
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't want Jade to go all the way to the finals,
<v Speaker 1>but it would have made sense, right, would have made
<v Speaker 1>sense for the two of them to both be competing
<v Speaker 1>for a title shot. But they've been beefing, and so
<v Speaker 1>you know, it all culminates at Night of Champions. But instead,
<v Speaker 1>again at least one of them, if not both of them,
<v Speaker 1>are getting bounced out of the opening round here, So
<v Speaker 1>we'll see how that plays out. I don't know when
<v Speaker 1>these matches, by the way, are taking place. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if they've announced which tournament matches are happening when
<v Speaker 1>I just know the tournament or tournaments are kicking off
<v Speaker 1>this week. Then we had, yeah, another wrestle MANI a rematch.
<v Speaker 1>You know, this was more backlash than backlash, brock Lesner
<v Speaker 1>one on one with Oba Femi. The fans sang Lesner
<v Speaker 1>to the ring, and again his song has no lyrics,
<v Speaker 1>but they sang him to the ring. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>that I've ever heard brock Lesnar being sung down to
<v Speaker 1>the ring before. They were even louder barking for Oba.
<v Speaker 1>I like how the announcer they just laid out and
<v Speaker 1>they just let the crowd reaction speak for itself. These
<v Speaker 1>people were going nuts. He got a superstar reaction coming
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring. So we got the big title
<v Speaker 1>match intros even though there was no title on the
<v Speaker 1>line here. I don't even think they gave that to
<v Speaker 1>the main event now that I think about it, right,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think they did the traditional in ring title
<v Speaker 1>match intros for Roman and Jacob as far as I
<v Speaker 1>can remember, but they did it here for Brock and Oba.
<v Speaker 1>So Lesner rushed Oba in the corner before the bell
<v Speaker 1>even rang, so just right out of the gate, were
<v Speaker 1>off to the races. Here hot start to this. Brock's
<v Speaker 1>trying to put this to bed early. He remembers what
<v Speaker 1>happened to WrestleMania. Immediately he hoists Oba up onto his
<v Speaker 1>shoulders f five, then another one, then a third one,
<v Speaker 1>and then a fourth one. And this is all in
<v Speaker 1>the opening thirty seconds of the match. Four f fives,
<v Speaker 1>which is what he put him down with on Raw
<v Speaker 1>a few weeks ago. And he covered Oba, and Oba
<v Speaker 1>kicked out. And I'm sure there were people watching this
<v Speaker 1>who had a freaking heart attack watching this, thinking they're
<v Speaker 1>tell me they're not going to do this. Can you
<v Speaker 1>can you imagine? Yeah? The sad thing is I can,
<v Speaker 1>But I was gonna say, can you imagine the uproar
<v Speaker 1>if in the first thirty seconds of this match, four
<v Speaker 1>f fives and he pins Oba Femi? Remember that sign
<v Speaker 1>from one night's stand of Sino wins we riots? Have
<v Speaker 1>you ever seen an online riot before? You would have? Oh,
<v Speaker 1>you would have if that would have happened. So Oba
<v Speaker 1>he struggled to his feet, and Brock he leapt up.
<v Speaker 1>He jumped up and he locked down the Kimora lock
<v Speaker 1>and he takes Oba down to the mat with it.
<v Speaker 1>He's gonna break this fucking guy's arm. Then, Oba, though,
<v Speaker 1>with one arm, he powers Brock up to his feet.
<v Speaker 1>He slams him down, he breaks the hold. Brock, though,
<v Speaker 1>got the hold and reapplied. Oba forced him backwards into
<v Speaker 1>the corner to break it again. So Oba went for
<v Speaker 1>a choke slam. Brock, though, he fights out of it,
<v Speaker 1>and he fights out of it into a fifth F
<v Speaker 1>five and he covers him and Oba kicks out again,
<v Speaker 1>and we got another F five at ten, but this
<v Speaker 1>time Oba slipped out. He went for a choke slam
<v Speaker 1>with his one good arm, and unfortunately Brock jumped a
<v Speaker 1>little too soon, so it didn't look great. But he
<v Speaker 1>still kind of sort of got a choke slam, just
<v Speaker 1>not a great one, didn't get the full impact on it,
<v Speaker 1>and he covered him anyway, and Brock kicked out, so
<v Speaker 1>Oba clothesline Brock out of the ring. He took himself
<v Speaker 1>out over the top rope because of all the momentum.
<v Speaker 1>The momentum took him over to the floor as well.
<v Speaker 1>Oba's pissed and he rips off the lid of the
<v Speaker 1>Italian announced desk. Brock sends him into the ring post.
<v Speaker 1>They'll face first, so Brock locks the Kamora lock on again.
<v Speaker 1>Oba smashes him backwards into the post to break the hold.
<v Speaker 1>Oba was going to choke slam him through the table.
<v Speaker 1>Brock slipped out. He picked him up. He delivered an
<v Speaker 1>F five through the announced desk. That is number six, F five,
<v Speaker 1>number six. So Lesner gets back into the ring and
<v Speaker 1>he's celebrating what he thinks is going to be a
<v Speaker 1>count out win, right. He'll take it anyway he can
<v Speaker 1>get it, and he's instructing the referee to begin his count.
<v Speaker 1>Chad Patten lays the count on. Referee gets up to
<v Speaker 1>six and Oba there's no struggling to his feet. He
<v Speaker 1>just pops back up to his feet and he slides
<v Speaker 1>back into the ring. Brock has this look on his
<v Speaker 1>face like he's all shocked. Oba charges in with a
<v Speaker 1>running upper cut, a second running upper cut, a third
<v Speaker 1>running upper cut. He lifts up like he does with
<v Speaker 1>all of his other opponents, and he just flings him
<v Speaker 1>across the ring. Fucking beals him halfway across the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and then he popped Lesner up onto his shoulders in
<v Speaker 1>a power bomb position. He is going for the fall
<v Speaker 1>from grace and as he goes to lift up Brock
<v Speaker 1>to finish the move, Brock slips out. He lands on
<v Speaker 1>his feet and he hoists up Oba again for a
<v Speaker 1>seventh F five hooks the leg and he pins Oba
<v Speaker 1>Femi six minutes a little over six minutes or so
<v Speaker 1>into this match, so they did go longer than WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>but again not by much. The six minutes that we
<v Speaker 1>got here, though, I think was excellent. After the match
<v Speaker 1>is over, Brock is outside the ring. He's staring down Oba,
<v Speaker 1>who's on the mat holding his arm. He's selling, and
<v Speaker 1>Brock looks at him and he says, is what he said?
<v Speaker 1>He goes one plus one. You're done, bitch. I just
<v Speaker 1>thought to myself, Well, they don't pay him to do math.
<v Speaker 1>They don't pay him to do math. What can I say? Look,
<v Speaker 1>this was NonStop action. I'll talk about the good stuff.
<v Speaker 1>This was NonStop action from start to finish. And they
<v Speaker 1>topped the F five count on Roman reigns from WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>thirty four. If you remember that terrible fucking main event,
<v Speaker 1>I do. I remember, and I was there when they
<v Speaker 1>wrestled to WrestleMania thirty four, it took six f fives
<v Speaker 1>in a shitty match for Brock to beat Roman. This
<v Speaker 1>was not shitty, but he topped the WrestleMania total. So
<v Speaker 1>it took seven to put down Oba Femi here, this
<v Speaker 1>was an excellent match. They knew that they were beating Oba,
<v Speaker 1>and so they said, well, if we're gonna beat this guy,
<v Speaker 1>what can we do to try to keep him looking strong.
<v Speaker 1>I know, we'll just do what We'll spam Brocks finish
<v Speaker 1>her over and over again. He'll keep kicking out after
<v Speaker 1>the seventh one right, that'll be one two many, and
<v Speaker 1>the Camorra Locke, he'll fight out of the Camora lock
<v Speaker 1>three or four times. So they did a whole bunch
<v Speaker 1>of stuff to try to keep you know, Oba looking strong.
<v Speaker 1>And they wanted him to still come out of this
<v Speaker 1>looking like a world beater, except by doing the one
<v Speaker 1>thing that really would have made him look like a
<v Speaker 1>world beater, which is, you know, not beating him. But
<v Speaker 1>if they were going to beat him, at least they
<v Speaker 1>tried to protect him. I maintain what I said coming
<v Speaker 1>into this show. As much as I like the match,
<v Speaker 1>I thought the match again was very good. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think Obafemi should have lost this match. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>Olba Femi had to lose this match. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>Obafemi should have lost this match, and you would have
<v Speaker 1>made more of a statement and I think shocked more people,
<v Speaker 1>frankly by having Broco in there and lose again, because
<v Speaker 1>most people coming into this probably expected that Brock was
<v Speaker 1>going to get his win back, and so that's exactly
<v Speaker 1>what they did. They followed the formula, They followed the
<v Speaker 1>typical blueprint. They want to get to a third match, well,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta have one guy win, you gotta have the
<v Speaker 1>other guy win. And I just think there was a
<v Speaker 1>story there to tell where you know, you didn't have
<v Speaker 1>to do that, and look in the end, Oba is
<v Speaker 1>gonna be fine. We'll get the third one at SummerSlam,
<v Speaker 1>probably with a stipulation, you know, whether whether Brock puts
<v Speaker 1>his career on the line this time or not. And again,
<v Speaker 1>most people won't believe it anyway, because they just I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they just screwed you over a few weeks ago. If
<v Speaker 1>you were one of those people that bought into the
<v Speaker 1>idea that Brock really was retired, they just basically said
<v Speaker 1>fuck you. So for them to turn around and say, well,
<v Speaker 1>this time we really mean it, it's like, yeah, fuck off.
<v Speaker 1>But you can add another stipulation, like, you know, last
<v Speaker 1>man standing. Brock had a great last man standing match
<v Speaker 1>at SummerSlam a few years ago at Roman Reigns right,
<v Speaker 1>so I would anticipate there being some sort of of
<v Speaker 1>stipulation when they have their third match, except you got
<v Speaker 1>to leave open the possibility that maybe there won't be
<v Speaker 1>a third match at Summer Slam because Oba Femi is
<v Speaker 1>in the King of the Ring tournament. Now, Obafemi being
<v Speaker 1>in the King of the Ring tournament in a four
<v Speaker 1>way match means that he can lose without really losing.
<v Speaker 1>Somebody else could take the losing fall instead of Oba.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure people are going to look at this and go, well,
<v Speaker 1>you could always have Brock Lesner interfere. He could fuck
<v Speaker 1>Oba Femi over, he could cost him his opening round
<v Speaker 1>match and the King of the Ring tournament. Boy, that
<v Speaker 1>would put some real heat on that match. Except one thing.
<v Speaker 1>There's one flawed little thing I have to point out
<v Speaker 1>with that, which is that if that's the case, and
<v Speaker 1>if we see Brockolesner involve himself in Oba Femi's opening
<v Speaker 1>round match in the King of the Ring tournament. Would
<v Speaker 1>it not have made more sense than to have Oba
<v Speaker 1>win here to give Brock the incentive to want to
<v Speaker 1>do something, to really stick it to this guy. Just
<v Speaker 1>just picture it. Picture Brockolesner losing again tonight, and now
<v Speaker 1>he is just beside himself because he cannot believe that
<v Speaker 1>he lost again to this man. Leave it, it's never
<v Speaker 1>been done. Now he doesn't know what to do. The
<v Speaker 1>whole reason he came back is because he said, I
<v Speaker 1>can't go out like that. I cannot allow myself to
<v Speaker 1>go out like that. Now he just lost for a
<v Speaker 1>second time. What the fuck am I gonna do? I
<v Speaker 1>know this guy thinks he's gonna be challenging for the
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslim and by the way, so
<v Speaker 1>does everybody else. I know. I'll get involved and I'll
<v Speaker 1>fuck him over. That'll teach him, and then he'll really
<v Speaker 1>have a reason to want to get his hands on me.
<v Speaker 1>And Obafemi will be I mean, he'll be a man
<v Speaker 1>possessed coming out of that match. Man, he will want
<v Speaker 1>to kill Brock. By the way, he said he was
<v Speaker 1>coming to Italy to kill Brock. He failed, he didn't
<v Speaker 1>do that. But see, but that's my thing. If that
<v Speaker 1>ends up happening, I'm gonna look back at this and
<v Speaker 1>go see, see it would make It would have made
<v Speaker 1>more sense than for Oba to win. Now, we don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe Brock is not gonna get involved, it is can't
<v Speaker 1>get the ring match. Maybe OPA's gonna win the opening
<v Speaker 1>round match and he'll get fucked out of it in
<v Speaker 1>the semi finals or the finals. I you know, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, but I'm just saying if that, if that
<v Speaker 1>that is what they end up doing, I'm just gonna
<v Speaker 1>look back. I want you all to look back at this,
<v Speaker 1>and we're gonna fucking laugh. We're just gonna laugh because
<v Speaker 1>it just would have made so much more sense to
<v Speaker 1>have a different outcome here in this match, if that's
<v Speaker 1>the case. But Oba, here in this match, he got
<v Speaker 1>tossed around for like seventy five percent of it. The
<v Speaker 1>guy is so over right now that one loss is
<v Speaker 1>not gonna sour him, you know, on the audience. It's
<v Speaker 1>not like he's buried or anything like that. But honestly,
<v Speaker 1>a lot of what happens from here on out is
<v Speaker 1>going to depend on what they do with him coming
<v Speaker 1>out of this show. I said, like he told Paul
<v Speaker 1>Hayman our role last week at WrestleMania, I wanted to
<v Speaker 1>beat Brock. Now I have to kill Brock and he
<v Speaker 1>didn't do that. Now we get to find out, like
<v Speaker 1>what this guy is really made of. He's lost, he's
<v Speaker 1>been embarrassed. How does he respond to that, because he
<v Speaker 1>certainly shouldn't be strutting out to the ring on Raw tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to see him strut if he comes out,
<v Speaker 1>if he wrestles on Raw tomorrow night, he'd better not
<v Speaker 1>be strutting on his way down to the ring. He
<v Speaker 1>should be mad coming out of this because he said
<v Speaker 1>he was going to go in there and he was
<v Speaker 1>going to kill him, and he failed and he didn't
<v Speaker 1>do it. So let's see how he responds to that.
<v Speaker 1>That's gonna be the key question now coming out of
<v Speaker 1>this match. That they show a bron Breaker and Austin
<v Speaker 1>Thory sitting in the crowd with their Raw tag team titles.
<v Speaker 1>They showed Julia sitting in the crowd. She got a
<v Speaker 1>nice reaction. She waved, Hi, Hi, everybody wish I were wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>But at least, I'm happy to be here. They have
<v Speaker 1>to at least give her a match on Friday, SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>is in Italy. Can we find something for this woman
<v Speaker 1>to do in the ring place? Can we put her
<v Speaker 1>in there with somebody, doesn't matter who, Just get her
<v Speaker 1>a match. She actually is in one of the opening
<v Speaker 1>round Queen of the Ring matches. Maybe they'll have her
<v Speaker 1>Queen of the Ring match on smack Down this week.
<v Speaker 1>But then she would be nice if she won. But
<v Speaker 1>I think her and EO Sky are in the same match.
<v Speaker 1>You give me the choice. EO's got to go over there.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry. I'm sorry to Julia, but I can't vote
<v Speaker 1>against EO. And they showed the director of Authority for
<v Speaker 1>TNA Wrestling, Yes, Santino Morella. They flew him all the
<v Speaker 1>way to make a quick cameo in Italy, which is
<v Speaker 1>where he won his first match. Actually on Raw he
<v Speaker 1>won the Intercontinental title. I think they were in Milan
<v Speaker 1>now they were in turn. Then they aired a recap
<v Speaker 1>of the Mask versus Mask match at the Triple A
<v Speaker 1>show last night, which was tremendous. I tweeted about it
<v Speaker 1>last night during the show, I'm going to save my
<v Speaker 1>full thoughts on the map. I have a lot to
<v Speaker 1>say about this match, and I'm gonna save my thoughts
<v Speaker 1>on that for the Uncrowned Wrestling show on Tuesday. I
<v Speaker 1>think I'm gonna open the show with it right off
<v Speaker 1>the top. We're gonna get into the Triple A show
<v Speaker 1>in the Triple A main event, and so I'll save
<v Speaker 1>my full thoughts and review for that, So you'll definitely
<v Speaker 1>want to tune in for that. That'll be on Tuesday.
<v Speaker 1>We have Becky Lynch against Soul Ruka for the Women's
<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental Championship. You know, you would think at this point
<v Speaker 1>that management they wouldn't put Jessica Carr in these matches
<v Speaker 1>with Becky Lynch, Right, there's always something that happens, something
<v Speaker 1>that goes wrong, there's some sort of controversy, something always happens,
<v Speaker 1>and yet she's always the referee, which makes me think
<v Speaker 1>that maybe Becky is not wrong and maybe there really
<v Speaker 1>is some sort of conspiracy here against her. So Ruka,
<v Speaker 1>who's had a rough month, right, she botched the Soul
<v Speaker 1>Snatcher and she's zero for two, and she won her
<v Speaker 1>first match, but it was some lame dq finish. She
<v Speaker 1>hasn't had a great month, so they needed this or
<v Speaker 1>she needed this right, They needed this for her. She
<v Speaker 1>had to go in there tonight and have a great
<v Speaker 1>match and come out with a w Seul tried to
<v Speaker 1>springboard off the ropes early on. Becky, though tripped her up,
<v Speaker 1>so Becky went up top. This was actually the funniest
<v Speaker 1>part of the entire match, because Soul's down on the
<v Speaker 1>mat and the camera pulls away from her and they
<v Speaker 1>show Becky on top, and Becky starts screaming, other way,
<v Speaker 1>other way. She's four times she said this other way,
<v Speaker 1>other way, other way, other way. I guess Soul was
<v Speaker 1>not laying in the right position, and once she was
<v Speaker 1>in the correct position, Becky did her top rope leg drop.
<v Speaker 1>Soul went for a soul snatcher not long after this,
<v Speaker 1>but as she came down, she landed right into an
<v Speaker 1>arm bar by Becky that looked good. Becky caught her.
<v Speaker 1>Ruka countered out into a cross face, Becky escaped, Lynch
<v Speaker 1>took Ruka up top. Soul though hit Becky with a
<v Speaker 1>top broke diving X factor. Ruca went back up top
<v Speaker 1>and at that point Becky shoved the referee into the ropes,
<v Speaker 1>which caused Soul to lose her balance and she fell
<v Speaker 1>and she crotched herself. So Becky landed a super plex.
<v Speaker 1>She went for a DDT Soul though was able to
<v Speaker 1>avoid it. Becky rolled out to the floor. And so
<v Speaker 1>after Becky's on the floor, Soul is going to do
<v Speaker 1>a dive out of the ring. And so she pulled
<v Speaker 1>out the old tiger mask special here the space flying
<v Speaker 1>Tiger drop. But she actually landed a little bit short,
<v Speaker 1>and so she didn't really hit Becky all that much.
<v Speaker 1>Becky sold it anyway. She went down Ruca, though she
<v Speaker 1>springboarded back into the ring once Becky was back inside.
<v Speaker 1>So here comes Soul. She springboards in but right into
<v Speaker 1>a manhandle slam and only got a near fall out
<v Speaker 1>of it. Then it was Becky teasing a soul snatcher.
<v Speaker 1>And I will tell you that I would pay good
<v Speaker 1>money to see Becky Lynch hit a picture perfect soul snatcher.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how much, probably maybe not more than
<v Speaker 1>like ten or eleven dollars, but I would pay. I
<v Speaker 1>would pay to see Becky Lynch try to hit a
<v Speaker 1>soul snatcher, just flush. That would be something. Ruka the
<v Speaker 1>caught her with a man handle slam of her own,
<v Speaker 1>only for a two count. Becky went for another man
<v Speaker 1>handle slam Soul, though jumped onto the middle rope. She
<v Speaker 1>hit the soul snatcher perfect covered her, got the win
<v Speaker 1>and snags her first championship here on the main roster.
<v Speaker 1>So Becky Lynch is not only now the longest raining
<v Speaker 1>women's Intercontinental champion of all time, she is now officially
<v Speaker 1>the shortest raining women's intercontinental champion of all time. Congratulations,
<v Speaker 1>she now owns both records. I'm just glad that Soul
<v Speaker 1>hit the soul snat at her perfectly this time. I
<v Speaker 1>was starting to really feel bad for her because there
<v Speaker 1>were a couple of times where even in their last match,
<v Speaker 1>you know, things didn't go quite the way they wanted
<v Speaker 1>it to go. It didn't look good. So I was
<v Speaker 1>happy that she hit it perfectly here and they had
<v Speaker 1>a very good match and Soul look, I would not
<v Speaker 1>have put the belt on her now. I think it's
<v Speaker 1>too early. I think you build to it a few
<v Speaker 1>more months. Right, wouldn't have killed you. But they had
<v Speaker 1>no choice. Everything they did up to this point, it
<v Speaker 1>didn't make Soul look very good. And you have Becky
<v Speaker 1>on television mocking her and making fun of her for
<v Speaker 1>being winless. Oh, you should go back down to NXT.
<v Speaker 1>You imagine if this girl went in there and lost again,
<v Speaker 1>like what a fucking loser, she would look like she
<v Speaker 1>had to win. They had no choice, They had no
<v Speaker 1>choice but to put the championship on her here, and
<v Speaker 1>the crowd in turn went crazy for it, and they
<v Speaker 1>reacted big to it, and so it was a nice
<v Speaker 1>moment for her to have. But yeah, if she would
<v Speaker 1>have lost this match, hmmm, that would have looked bad.
<v Speaker 1>So Ruka gets in the win column and now I
<v Speaker 1>guess we wait to see if they run it back
<v Speaker 1>one more time, which I really don't think is needed.
<v Speaker 1>I'll tell you what we need. There's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>things we need. Okay, we need a proper rival for
<v Speaker 1>the women's World champion on Monday Night Raw is what
<v Speaker 1>we need. But what we also need is some sort
<v Speaker 1>of payoff between Becky Lynch and Jessica Carr. I don't
<v Speaker 1>see how we don't end up getting a match between
<v Speaker 1>these two. But how much longer are they going to
<v Speaker 1>drag this out for? How many matches? Now? Is this? Okay?
<v Speaker 1>More than the number of fingers I have on this hand.
<v Speaker 1>It has to be maybe two where there's been some
<v Speaker 1>sort of issue in a Becky Lynch match because Jessica
<v Speaker 1>Carr has been the referee. Jessica Carr either oh, she
<v Speaker 1>cheated or she screwed me, or Jessica Carr took a bump.
<v Speaker 1>How many fucking times have we seen this goes back
<v Speaker 1>to last year? At what point do we get a
<v Speaker 1>payoff between these two? Just put them in the ring
<v Speaker 1>and have a match, Like, we have to be getting
<v Speaker 1>this match soon. How many more times are we going
<v Speaker 1>to get this again? They like, this is one of
<v Speaker 1>the problems right now with WWE. There are certain things
<v Speaker 1>they do and they keep doing it, and they do
<v Speaker 1>it and they do it and they do it and
<v Speaker 1>they do it until you're fucking blue in the face,
<v Speaker 1>and it's like, why are we still doing this? When
<v Speaker 1>are we going to get past this? When are we
<v Speaker 1>going to pay this off? So hopefully that'll happen soon.
<v Speaker 1>We don't need to see Becky Lynch in soul ruke again.
<v Speaker 1>We need to see Becky Lynch against Jessica Carr so
<v Speaker 1>they could get it all out of their system and
<v Speaker 1>we can move on from here. The main event was
<v Speaker 1>tribal combat. John says, I have not seen her wrestle.
<v Speaker 1>Is she any good? I think I vaguely remember seeing
<v Speaker 1>her wrestle. Yeah, I mean she's a good wrestler. Again,
<v Speaker 1>one of the evolved tapings not that long ago, she
<v Speaker 1>wrestled under a mask. I forgot what her name was,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah, Jessica. As many referees are or have been,
<v Speaker 1>Jessica's a trained wrestler, so to do one match, she
<v Speaker 1>could totally do it. But the main event was Remember
<v Speaker 1>they were gonna I guess they weren't going to, but
<v Speaker 1>I think Thunderosa many years ago reached out to them
<v Speaker 1>about potentially coming into referee. He had a lot of
<v Speaker 1>referees who either were wrestlers or they at least have
<v Speaker 1>gone through the training to be a wrestler. It's not
<v Speaker 1>like they don't know what they're doing in there. The
<v Speaker 1>main event was tribal combat for the World Heavyweight Championship.
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns defending against Jacob Fatu. The only way to
<v Speaker 1>win is by pinfall or submission only, and he appears, Wow, hey, Barry,
<v Speaker 1>what's going on? The only way to win in tribal
<v Speaker 1>combat pinfall or submission. If fau wins the time Roman
<v Speaker 1>reigns will surrender the Ula falla ooh. But if Roman retains,
<v Speaker 1>Fatu will have to serve him as his tribal chief,
<v Speaker 1>whatever the hell that means. Now. Fatu hurt himself the
<v Speaker 1>other night in Liverpool, and there was some question about
<v Speaker 1>it was a back injury, and there was some question
<v Speaker 1>about whether or not he'd be ready to go. And
<v Speaker 1>I said it the other day, like you'd have to
<v Speaker 1>kill this man, Like this man would have to be
<v Speaker 1>incapable of standing up on his own two feet. It
<v Speaker 1>would like it would have to be like the worst
<v Speaker 1>case of sciatica pain that you could possibly imagine for
<v Speaker 1>this man not to be in that ring for this match.
<v Speaker 1>But evidently, and I think it was a false finish,
<v Speaker 1>HQ that reported that one of the ideas discussed as
<v Speaker 1>a potential pivot if Fatu was not able to go
<v Speaker 1>in this match was to put Drew McIntyre in there.
<v Speaker 1>Thankfully though it didn't come to that, and so they
<v Speaker 1>didn't have to do that. Not much of a reaction
<v Speaker 1>for Fatu coming out, but they were singing to Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reign from the moment his music hit and the moment
<v Speaker 1>he came out to the ring and he's got some
<v Speaker 1>Italian roots himself, his mom. His mom is Italian Italian American.
<v Speaker 1>After some we got some graps to start things off
<v Speaker 1>here in tribal combat. After that, they ended up in
<v Speaker 1>the crowd and they had a like a concession stand,
<v Speaker 1>just like a random concession stand, and there were no
<v Speaker 1>fans there, but it's in the in the crowd on
<v Speaker 1>the lower level, and Roman started tossing free bags of
<v Speaker 1>candy out to the crowd, trying to buy crowd support
<v Speaker 1>by tossing candies to the fans. So they fought back
<v Speaker 1>down to ringside. They were chanting tables. Roman pulled one
<v Speaker 1>out and fought to cut him off. Roman made a
<v Speaker 1>quick comeback though he slid the slim gym table into
<v Speaker 1>the ring, but he was taking his sweet ass time
<v Speaker 1>in doing so. That allowed Fat too. I was wondering,
<v Speaker 1>what's he taken so long for? He literally just like
<v Speaker 1>slid the table in and it was like right in
<v Speaker 1>the corner still and he's just standing there. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>what is he What's he waiting for? And so evidently
<v Speaker 1>what he was waiting for was for fought two to
<v Speaker 1>send him into the ring. Steps, which Fought to then
<v Speaker 1>placed inside the ring. Crowd got real quiet here. I
<v Speaker 1>mean again, this was a hot crowd for pretty much
<v Speaker 1>the entire night, and this was the first of several
<v Speaker 1>points during this match where they got very very quiet
<v Speaker 1>and things were moving very very slow, very sluggish. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. Maybe part of it had to do with
<v Speaker 1>the fact that Jacob really was hurt and he was
<v Speaker 1>kind of pacing himself, or it could just be that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, it's they knew they were going a certain
<v Speaker 1>amount of time and so they were just slowing things down.
<v Speaker 1>But it got kind of boring here. Roman in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>he picked up the steps and he tossed them outside.
<v Speaker 1>He hit Fought two right in the head with them.
<v Speaker 1>Then Roman delivered a drive by knock Fought Two backwards
<v Speaker 1>into the ring. Post back inside, Roman set up for
<v Speaker 1>a Superman punch. Jacob ducked it. He went to work
<v Speaker 1>on him running hip attack in the corner, and he
<v Speaker 1>popped Roman up. I guess he was going for the
<v Speaker 1>Samoan drop, but on the way down Roman caught him
<v Speaker 1>with a superman punch and so Roman got a near
<v Speaker 1>fall out of it. Now Roman set up for a
<v Speaker 1>spear too, met him with a superkick instead, and then
<v Speaker 1>the dreaded Tonguan death grip. The Tonguan death grip a
<v Speaker 1>move so deadly, so lethal that he has yet to
<v Speaker 1>win a match with it, but he got it applied
<v Speaker 1>here on Roman reigns and Jacob sent him out backwards
<v Speaker 1>over the top rope, and then when Jacob tried to dive,
<v Speaker 1>Roman cut him off with another Superman punch in the
<v Speaker 1>ropes and Jacob sort of flopped out of the ring
<v Speaker 1>and crumbled to the floor. Roman pulled a toolbox out
<v Speaker 1>from under the ring and he started smashing Fatu's death
<v Speaker 1>grip hand with it, and he's shouting, you can't do
<v Speaker 1>shit with that, now, can you. So again he smashed
<v Speaker 1>the hand with the toolbox, and again the crowd got
<v Speaker 1>real quiet. At this point, Roman propped the slim Gym
<v Speaker 1>table up in the corner in the ring, which I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I know these are the tables they use all the time,
<v Speaker 1>but still have fucking we got tribal combat here, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking at two giant slim Gym logos propped up
<v Speaker 1>at the quarter of the ray like this is just
<v Speaker 1>fucking ridiculous. So he sat up for a spear. Fatu, though,
<v Speaker 1>ended up crushing him in the corner, and so Fa
<v Speaker 1>two was getting a second wind. Roman spelled outside over
<v Speaker 1>by the timekeeper's barricade, and fat Tou sees this and
<v Speaker 1>he gets that little twinkle in his eye. Oh, they're
<v Speaker 1>by the timekeeper's barricades. You know what's coming up next.
<v Speaker 1>So Jacob rolls out to the floor and he's in
<v Speaker 1>the aisleway like he's gonna get a real like running
<v Speaker 1>head start here, and he makes a mad dash. He comes,
<v Speaker 1>he circles the bend, but before he could even get
<v Speaker 1>to Roman by the barricade, Roman catches him with a
<v Speaker 1>superman bunch. Roman then speared fought too through the barricade,
<v Speaker 1>but not that barricade. He speared him through the regular barricade,
<v Speaker 1>and there were two security guys sitting on the other
<v Speaker 1>side of it and they got crushed underneath the barricade,
<v Speaker 1>so that was different. Back inside, we got the the
<v Speaker 1>ooh ah. And then Roman went and hit the spear
<v Speaker 1>at least once. When you do a review of a
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns match, you gotta do you gotta do the
<v Speaker 1>the ooh ah. You gotta do it, or you could
<v Speaker 1>do it the way that al Pacino did in sent
<v Speaker 1>of a Woman and go whoah, could do that too,
<v Speaker 1>that's actually funnier. I think Roman should start doing that
<v Speaker 1>in his matches. He should just go ooh ah and
<v Speaker 1>then just hit the spear. Jacob kicked out, so Roman
<v Speaker 1>starts talking, shit, you think I need the buckle? Right,
<v Speaker 1>he's referencing the way that he ended up beating Jacob
<v Speaker 1>a backlash because Jacob ended up going face first into
<v Speaker 1>the exposed buckle. So he goes and he rips three
<v Speaker 1>of the four top turn buckle pads off. The only
<v Speaker 1>one that he didn't rip off is the one that
<v Speaker 1>was hidden in the other corner behind the slim gym table.
<v Speaker 1>So another fucking superman punch. I lost track of how
<v Speaker 1>many we got here in this match. At least half
<v Speaker 1>a dozen Superman punch. Jacob no sells it. Roman started
<v Speaker 1>ramming him into the exposed buckles and again he's got
<v Speaker 1>the hard Samoan head, so that didn't really do anything.
<v Speaker 1>And he catches Roman with a spear of his own,
<v Speaker 1>and he goes for the pin and Jacob kicks out,
<v Speaker 1>so FA two, He's going to go for the Mighty
<v Speaker 1>Moon Salt. Roman though rolled out of the way. Fatu
<v Speaker 1>did a belly flop on the landing spear attempt. Jacob, though,
<v Speaker 1>popped him up into a Samoan drop, and this time
<v Speaker 1>he goes for the Mighty Moon Salt and it connects
<v Speaker 1>and Corey Graves and I knew that this was not
<v Speaker 1>going to be the end of the match. Do you
<v Speaker 1>know how I knew that, because as soon as Jacob
<v Speaker 1>landed the Mighty Moon Salt, I had to listen to
<v Speaker 1>Corey Graves go, We're gonna have a new champion. We
<v Speaker 1>got a new champion, which of course means we don't
<v Speaker 1>have a new champion, and we didn't have a new champion.
<v Speaker 1>And Roman kicked out, but in getting the arm up
<v Speaker 1>on the kickout, Roman delivered a low blow. Now was
<v Speaker 1>that unintentional? Was that on purpose? Not the first time
<v Speaker 1>we've seen Roman Reigns do that in a match, and
<v Speaker 1>it would be legal anyway. It doesn't really matter because
<v Speaker 1>it's tribal combat. But you could rip the other guy's
<v Speaker 1>nuts off with your bare hands. It's notice qualification. So
<v Speaker 1>the tongue in death grip is applied and Roman starts
<v Speaker 1>ramming him headfirst over and over into the exposed buckle
<v Speaker 1>and then he spears fat to through the slim gym table.
<v Speaker 1>He snapped into it, but Fought two was back up
<v Speaker 1>on his feet pretty quickly. Roman then gave him one
<v Speaker 1>spear and that's all it took, and he got the
<v Speaker 1>pin to retain the World Heavyweight championship. And if that
<v Speaker 1>wasn't bad enough, right, we just saw Jacob fa Tu
<v Speaker 1>drop two straight to Roman reigns in the span of
<v Speaker 1>one of less than a month. Backlash was only a
<v Speaker 1>few weeks ago. As if that wasn't bad enough, we
<v Speaker 1>have Michael Cole on commentary hit us with this line
<v Speaker 1>just to shovel some more dirt on the poor guy.
<v Speaker 1>The Samoan were wolf has been neutered and domesticated. Amazing,
<v Speaker 1>he has been neutered. He just dropped too straight and
<v Speaker 1>now he has to be the man's basically man servant.
<v Speaker 1>He was neutered, He was neutered and domesticated. So the
<v Speaker 1>ussos hit the ring. They placed I think Jay placed
<v Speaker 1>the ulafalla around Roman's neck. Michael Cole said, now we
<v Speaker 1>turn ours to Monday Night Raw where Fought too will
<v Speaker 1>have to honor Roman as his tribal chief. Roman was
<v Speaker 1>just a total heel here acting like a total heel,
<v Speaker 1>looking down at FOT two, talking all kinds of shit,
<v Speaker 1>you know, as he was leaving, all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>they cut to a shot of the crowd, and who
<v Speaker 1>do we see in the crowd The fucking MFTs. We
<v Speaker 1>see Solo so CoA, we see Tomatanga, and we see
<v Speaker 1>Talatanga because that's all that's left of the MFTs. There's
<v Speaker 1>no more Tonga Loa, and there's no more j. C. Mitteio,
<v Speaker 1>but the fucking MFTs. And Solo is looking over he's
<v Speaker 1>judging Jacob. He's shaking his head again, like a disappointed dad,
<v Speaker 1>shaking his head in disappointment. He wasn't the only one.
<v Speaker 1>And Jacob was staring back at Solo, probably pondering some
<v Speaker 1>of his life choices Roman as he was leaving, and
<v Speaker 1>he spotted the MFTs. He's basically, in so many words,
<v Speaker 1>he said they're next. He's like looking at the Usso's going, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they're next. And I'm like, oh my god, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>please no, please, I can't. I can't do this anymore. No,
<v Speaker 1>we can't. We can't. We can't be going back to this.
<v Speaker 1>We can't be going back to this bloodline civil war stuff.
<v Speaker 1>I just with a group that's more dead than whoever
<v Speaker 1>is laying under that fucking tarp in Dan Hausen's lab.
<v Speaker 1>Are we really going back to this now? On the
<v Speaker 1>post show, Roman cut a promo he acknowledged guys like
<v Speaker 1>la Night and Royce Keys. I guess as he specifically
<v Speaker 1>name drop those two guys, I guess name I mean
<v Speaker 1>potential challengers for his championship. All Walfa too stood behind
<v Speaker 1>him in the background and he was just staring a
<v Speaker 1>hole right through him. I should also mention that Roman
<v Speaker 1>was as he was walking to the back before the
<v Speaker 1>show went off the air. This is what I mentioned
<v Speaker 1>at the beginning of the review. He was again just
<v Speaker 1>talking all kinds of shit, and he goes, now they
<v Speaker 1>know who the head of the table is. Who the
<v Speaker 1>captain of the ship is. QB One? Fuck that noise,
<v Speaker 1>it's the tribal chief. So on the post show, QB
<v Speaker 1>One himself, Cody Rhodes was on set with Biggie and
<v Speaker 1>Joe Test was there and they had to fill him
<v Speaker 1>in on what Roman had said, and they wanted his response.
<v Speaker 1>So this is what Cody said, said, I think it's
<v Speaker 1>a unique position for me to be in, for me
<v Speaker 1>to say something negative or for him to say something
<v Speaker 1>negative about me, for the simple fact that he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have two wins over me. I don't have two wins
<v Speaker 1>over him. He beat me once, I beat his ass once,
<v Speaker 1>So I don't know add him to the list. We said,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther can get a rematch whenever he wants it, come
<v Speaker 1>and get it, easy to find, hard to beat. That
<v Speaker 1>goes for Roman Reigns as well. And then the two
<v Speaker 1>of them ran into each other in the backstage area
<v Speaker 1>for ten seconds. They had a tense maybe not even
<v Speaker 1>ten seconds, and they had like a tense little stare
<v Speaker 1>down and then Cody kept walking and Roman just kind
<v Speaker 1>of laughed and then he kept walking. So they're definitely
<v Speaker 1>teasing a third match here between Roman and Cody. Is
<v Speaker 1>that going to be a Crown Jewel match? Are we
<v Speaker 1>even getting a Crown Jewel later this year? Because usually
<v Speaker 1>it's the top champions wrestling each other. I still find
<v Speaker 1>it hard to believe that both these guys are going
<v Speaker 1>to beat champions. Let's say in the fall. Roman remember
<v Speaker 1>what Roman said coming out of wrestle Mania after he
<v Speaker 1>beat Punk, He goes, he got me through the summer, okay,
<v Speaker 1>which is code for I'm losing at Summerslap. So I
<v Speaker 1>doubt very seriously that like in September October, Roman's still
<v Speaker 1>gonna be the world champion. I mean, anything's possible. So
<v Speaker 1>I don't know about Crown Jewel, but like, could this
<v Speaker 1>be the wrestle Media match next year? Are they clinging
<v Speaker 1>to hope that maybe the Rock is going to wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Roman a WrestleMania next year because the Saudis might want
<v Speaker 1>Dwayne Johnson on the show. So and there's been talked
<v Speaker 1>by the way that there were negotiations going on about
<v Speaker 1>getting him on the Wrestle Media card. I just don't
<v Speaker 1>waste any oxygen even talking about it because it's fucking pointless.
<v Speaker 1>We go through this every year. But is this one
<v Speaker 1>of the reasons maybe why they insist on continuing with
<v Speaker 1>the Bloodline stuff, because they're building towards the hope that
<v Speaker 1>maybe just maybe at the end of all this, at
<v Speaker 1>the end of the rainbow here, we're gonna get the
<v Speaker 1>big match between Roman and Rock. And I'm like, you
<v Speaker 1>know what, whether we get it or not, And it's
<v Speaker 1>one of those matches where it's like I'll believe it
<v Speaker 1>when I see it. But like, whether we get it
<v Speaker 1>or not, that doesn't mean that we have to come
<v Speaker 1>instantly be subjected to bloodline shit every single week on television.
<v Speaker 1>But this is this is where we are. This is
<v Speaker 1>how Clashing Italy went off the air, teasing a bloodline
<v Speaker 1>civil war. And the big story going into Raw tomorrow
<v Speaker 1>night is will Jacob Fatu do what he is supposed
<v Speaker 1>to do and will he acknowledge his tribal chief and
<v Speaker 1>will he serve his tribal chief or are they gonna
<v Speaker 1>shoot some kind of big angle where he just cannot
<v Speaker 1>bring himself to do it and we get some kind
<v Speaker 1>of big twist. It would be welcome, It would be welcome.
<v Speaker 1>But see, I no longer give them the benefit of
<v Speaker 1>the doubt because they don't deserve it. They don't deserve
<v Speaker 1>it because every time you think, oh, well, maybe they'll
<v Speaker 1>do this, or maybe they'll they'll surprise us and they'll
<v Speaker 1>go they'll zig instead of zag, or they'll do something
<v Speaker 1>other than what they always do, they always fall back
<v Speaker 1>on their tried and true and they always stick to
<v Speaker 1>the formula. They just they just they they're so afraid
<v Speaker 1>to take risks, you know, and they just constant play
<v Speaker 1>it safe. Triple H constantly plays it safe when it
<v Speaker 1>comes to the booking that I don't give them the
<v Speaker 1>benefit of the doubt. So sure, it'd be great if
<v Speaker 1>they made you think that this is what they're going
<v Speaker 1>to be doing and then boom they hit you between
<v Speaker 1>the eyes with something completely different. But my god, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>can you blame me for sitting here and not believing
<v Speaker 1>that that's what we're going to end up getting. I
<v Speaker 1>think this is exactly what we're going to end up getting,
<v Speaker 1>and it sucks. It sucks. Six years later, we are
<v Speaker 1>still doing this bloodline. We are still milking the cow,
<v Speaker 1>trying to extract every last little drop that we can
<v Speaker 1>out of this because we are incapable, we are incapable
<v Speaker 1>of trying to come up with an idea that could
<v Speaker 1>rival the bloodline stuff from three or four years ago.
<v Speaker 1>So we're just going to keep beating a dead horse
<v Speaker 1>here and we're going to keep going back to that. Well.
<v Speaker 1>We'll cycle in a couple of new faces every now
<v Speaker 1>and then, but you know, we got Roman who hasn't
<v Speaker 1>changed at all. By the way, Roman hasn't evolved, He
<v Speaker 1>hasn't changed. He's still a dick. The usos are backed. Basically,
<v Speaker 1>the Ussos have have devolved, They've devolved back to where
<v Speaker 1>they were a few years ago. You're a couple of lackeys.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they're Roman's boys. Jacob's a newer face, I get.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he's been there for a couple of years already,
<v Speaker 1>but he's still kind of a newer face and all
<v Speaker 1>of this. But you got solo and you get it's like, like,
<v Speaker 1>what are we doing here? That's why I said, like
<v Speaker 1>it feels like we're on an infinite loop. You play
<v Speaker 1>a song on your Spotify playlist and you hit that
<v Speaker 1>button where when the song is over, it just keeps
<v Speaker 1>looping it over and over again. That's the song of
<v Speaker 1>the Bloodline. That's what we're doing here with this product,
<v Speaker 1>and everything else is a distant number two. Everything else
<v Speaker 1>just plays number two to the Bloodline stuff. So in
<v Speaker 1>a few weeks or a few months, we'll have another
<v Speaker 1>acknowledgment ceremony and there'll be another battle over the Ula Falla,
<v Speaker 1>and we'll just keep doing this until you know, we
<v Speaker 1>have gray hairs growing out of our face and it
<v Speaker 1>just gets tiring after a while. Nothing ever feels like
<v Speaker 1>it really changes. That was Clash in Italy. I put
<v Speaker 1>a pole up, and again I can't show them anymore
<v Speaker 1>because for whatever reason, I can't log in two x
<v Speaker 1>through OBS. But I will check out right now. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>what the results of the pole are thumbs up, thumbs
<v Speaker 1>in the middle, thumbs down for Clash in Italy, And
<v Speaker 1>according to you guys, thirty five point seven percent thumbs up,
<v Speaker 1>forty three percent thumbs in the middle, twenty one percent
<v Speaker 1>thumbs down. Not a great score for Clash in Italy.
<v Speaker 1>I like the mouse, says, I already have gray hairs growing. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>you know why. This is why. Because you've been watching
<v Speaker 1>the WWE product for far too long, your gray hairs
<v Speaker 1>will only get that much grayer. Actually, they might start
<v Speaker 1>falling out. That's the next step. Anyway, let's go to
<v Speaker 1>your super chats. See what you guys thought. Where is
<v Speaker 1>Raw tomorrow night? By the way, it was Raw also
<v Speaker 1>in Italy. I know SmackDown is I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>Raw is also in turn. I think it is. I
<v Speaker 1>think Raw is in Turn. Well, then good. At least
<v Speaker 1>we'll have a hot craft for Raw tomorrow night. Oh well,
<v Speaker 1>don't forget Raw two pm Eastern start on Netflix, so
<v Speaker 1>you don't need a VPN for that. It'll be two
<v Speaker 1>o'clock Eastern on Netflix. We're gonna do tomorrow what we
<v Speaker 1>did today, so I will go live at about eight
<v Speaker 1>pm Eastern. I'm not going live immediately after eight o'clock tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>We'll bump up the raw review and we'll go live
<v Speaker 1>on YouTube. Oh, we got Nico with us. But before
<v Speaker 1>we get to Nico, we gotta go to the real CS,
<v Speaker 1>said Solo, with JR. Admitting that he had another fall
<v Speaker 1>before Double or Nothing said, my thing is, how is
<v Speaker 1>he still able to live by himself? He's been open
<v Speaker 1>about it, and it feels like no one is doing
<v Speaker 1>a thing about it. Is that just me? Well, it's
<v Speaker 1>not anybody's decision to make except his. He's a grown
<v Speaker 1>ass man. If he wants to live alone, I mentioned
<v Speaker 1>like the other day, I said, I think it's time
<v Speaker 1>for him to have a live in aid. And I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if that's something that he's considered or people
<v Speaker 1>have suggested to him, but it's his call. He doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have to do what he doesn't want to do. This
<v Speaker 1>week's episode is sponsored by Wicks. If you own your

<v Speaker 1>is why it's important to get it right. You only
<v Speaker 1>get one chance to make a good first impression, so
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why you would be using anything other

<v Speaker 1>that's Wix dot com slash harmony. Uh, Niko, thank you
<v Speaker 1>for the super chats, got a bunch of them. Here, says,
<v Speaker 1>was gonna watch Clash in Italy in the theater, But
<v Speaker 1>I said, Nat, I'm gonna watch the stream and give
<v Speaker 1>you a bunch of superchats. Thanks as all the way. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I like that plan, I like that plane, and I
<v Speaker 1>got you all caught up on everything. Now we are.
<v Speaker 1>We are thirteen out of fifteen. By the way, on
<v Speaker 1>that bonus goal, what was the the main one? The
<v Speaker 1>main one was what five hundred and fifteen likes? Oh yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we've we blew past that. We're almost a seven fifty.
<v Speaker 1>A monu is a monu or manu? Say monu? Welcome
<v Speaker 1>to the channel, Biko says. But I'm gonna watch Obsession later.
<v Speaker 1>I think the movie will be done by the time
<v Speaker 1>the stream starts. I'll give you my non spoiler review
<v Speaker 1>in super chat for well you do that, You're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have a good time, Philip Bowman. While I do think
<v Speaker 1>one person having excess power is bad, I wanted to
<v Speaker 1>ask you objectively, how different with wweb if Tony Kahan
<v Speaker 1>actually bought it. I mean, just watch aw that'll give
<v Speaker 1>you a sense of how WWE would be. He has
<v Speaker 1>he has a you know, he has a style, he
<v Speaker 1>has a preference of how he likes his wrestling. All
<v Speaker 1>you have to do is watch aw and that's a
<v Speaker 1>mirror into a WWE would look like. But again, no
<v Speaker 1>one person or entity should be able to consolidate that
<v Speaker 1>much power within one industry. That's my concern with the
<v Speaker 1>whole Cyber Agent thing. They just bought or bought into
<v Speaker 1>New Japan Pro Wrestling you know them and TV is
<v Speaker 1>sah he each own I believe forty six point three
<v Speaker 1>percent now of New Japan. Bushy Road had about seventy
<v Speaker 1>percent of the stock and they sold it off. The
<v Speaker 1>Cyber Agent also owns DDT and no uh Tokyo Joshi
<v Speaker 1>Pro and now they own a big chun of New Japan.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that's a good thing. Plus, the company
<v Speaker 1>is called cyber Agent. Does that not like give people pause?
<v Speaker 1>The fucking company is called cyber Agent. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>It's a little it's a little scary. Ace of Masta
<v Speaker 1>says yeah about that Oba winning again with a sad face.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised. Abystle Zones says huge
<v Speaker 1>waste not to have lived on the show, given how
<v Speaker 1>over she was on the pre show. All it would
<v Speaker 1>have needed was EO or Bailey making a challenge on Raw. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>my brother, this is this is Paul Levec that we're
<v Speaker 1>talking about here. Can't be having six matches on these
<v Speaker 1>shows unless it's WrestleMania or SummerSlam. You're not allowed. Five
<v Speaker 1>is the cut off. Five is the cutof, and you
<v Speaker 1>get no matches on the pre show either. But you
<v Speaker 1>can listen to Peter Rosenberg talk there you go. Alexander
<v Speaker 1>says it's a shame that Jacob is now required to
<v Speaker 1>join Roman's Kiss My Ass Club. Lord have mercy. Nika
<v Speaker 1>says glad I did not spend that thirty dollars. I'll
<v Speaker 1>see you have to pay for ESPN unlimited m That sucks.
<v Speaker 1>Aaron says, bloodline MFTs again a rerun of a rerun.
<v Speaker 1>It's like a copy of a copy. You ever see
<v Speaker 1>the movie Multiplicity with Michael Keaton. It's a copy of
<v Speaker 1>a copy which is never as good as the original.
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy Rose says, fuck this company. This show was cookie cutter.
<v Speaker 1>Why do they not evolve any of the main characters?
<v Speaker 1>Cody and Roman, for example, are still the same as
<v Speaker 1>they were in twenty twenty two and twenty twenty three.
<v Speaker 1>Because I'm over this shit. It was the main reason
<v Speaker 1>why I can never bring myself to care about the MFTs.
<v Speaker 1>You know, there's nothing. I don't have any issue inherently
<v Speaker 1>with the people in the group. They never bothered to
<v Speaker 1>evolve any of them. Solo is really the only one
<v Speaker 1>that they even bother to focus on, and they have
<v Speaker 1>him completely miscast. Solo Sokoa is not the Godfather, you know.
<v Speaker 1>I can't look at him and not see like again,
<v Speaker 1>like a wish Roman, like he's trying to play Roman
<v Speaker 1>for Halloween or something. That's not the right role for him.
<v Speaker 1>But they never bothered to evolve any of the other
<v Speaker 1>people in the group. Tomatonga, tongaloa J. C. Matteo, they
<v Speaker 1>either never spoke, they stood in the background. They put
<v Speaker 1>the face pain on. Who gives a shit. The reason
<v Speaker 1>the bloodline worked was because everybody had their own personality
<v Speaker 1>and everybody had their own story going. That's why it worked.
<v Speaker 1>A Pumpkin Ryan, thank you, GMB is with us. Roman
<v Speaker 1>is worse than Reign of Terror Triple H at least
<v Speaker 1>triple h put over ben Wa and Batista multiple times.
<v Speaker 1>Roman doesn't want to work with anyone outside of his family.
<v Speaker 1>It seems that way sometimes, doesn't it. It sure seems
<v Speaker 1>that way. Johnny Burney solo openning Oba in the King
<v Speaker 1>of the Ring moves me. I fear, Yeah, it moves
<v Speaker 1>you to the insane asylum. That's where it moves you.
<v Speaker 1>Magnificent Matt, what is your favorite kiss song? War Machine
<v Speaker 1>Gabriel says, I told you Cody will retain because there's
<v Speaker 1>a bigger story in place for that title. Comes Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slam in Randy winning number fifteen. Only then you'll realize
<v Speaker 1>that it was worth it. Dude, I don't give a
<v Speaker 1>shit anymore. I don't even care, don't care, don't care
<v Speaker 1>if Randy wins fifteen, could not care any less. If
<v Speaker 1>it happens, great, If it doesn't happen, I don't give
<v Speaker 1>a shit. You lost me. Bas Bears says, thank you,
<v Speaker 1>brock death Syth because I'm sorry, but Gunther retired Goldberg,
<v Speaker 1>John Cena and aj Styles and then loses to Cody.
<v Speaker 1>That's like brock Lesnar ending the streak at WrestleMania thirty
<v Speaker 1>and losing to John Cena at SummerSlam. Kind of yeah,
<v Speaker 1>in a way, I guess you could look at it
<v Speaker 1>that way. Uh. Philip says the best WWE video game
<v Speaker 1>soundtrack SmackDown versus Raw two thousand and seven or two
<v Speaker 1>K nineteen. I mean, from what I remember of two
<v Speaker 1>K nineteen, I gotta go two K nineteen. Death Sythe says,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not a Triple H fan, but I will give
<v Speaker 1>the man credit because the only other wrestler he has
<v Speaker 1>truly elevated besides Batista was Jeff Hardy back at Armageddon
<v Speaker 1>in two thousand and seven and throughout two thousand and eight.
<v Speaker 1>Would you agree? I don't remember what he did for
<v Speaker 1>Jeff in two thousand and eight, but I I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I'll give you Armageddon, I guess, but I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't really see. And I know he also lost
<v Speaker 1>the Intercontinental title to him in two thousand and one.
<v Speaker 1>You want to go back all the way to A one?
<v Speaker 1>I mean you could technically inclin that too, but again,
<v Speaker 1>you know, getting somebody over is more than just like
<v Speaker 1>letting them beat you in a match. Like Batista, he
<v Speaker 1>he took the time and effort to really help get
<v Speaker 1>that guy over. They built a whole story around Batista
<v Speaker 1>breaking out of evolution and then beating Triple H and
<v Speaker 1>then beating him again, and then beating him again. That's
<v Speaker 1>putting somebody over. Losing a match to somebody, it can
<v Speaker 1>be elevating them to that next level. But it all depends.
<v Speaker 1>It all depends on the situation. It depends also on
<v Speaker 1>how you lose. You can lose a match, but it's
<v Speaker 1>like a slip on a banana peel finish, and what
<v Speaker 1>does that really accomplish, you know what I mean. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not saying that's what he did for Jeff. I'm just
<v Speaker 1>saying I think sometimes people mistake just losing a match,
<v Speaker 1>oh that you know, they elevated somebody, or they they
<v Speaker 1>got them over. No, they put them over. Putting them
<v Speaker 1>over is not necessarily the same as getting them over.
<v Speaker 1>Phillips says, I would prefer the aw finish your kickouts
<v Speaker 1>over seven f fives. Well, I mean, look, there was
<v Speaker 1>nothing on this show that even came close to the
<v Speaker 1>best matches that we just had, you know, a week ago,
<v Speaker 1>at double or nothing. I mean, I'll give you that,
<v Speaker 1>but I mean spamming moves is spamming moves, you know,
<v Speaker 1>no matter who it is. Dried Chicken says Nicky Freeman.
<v Speaker 1>Equals that don't work for me. Brother obsession, great movie
<v Speaker 1>Triple H puts some flavor on this show. Yeah, not really.
<v Speaker 1>Death Site says, my grandmother passed away on my sixteenth
<v Speaker 1>birthday back in twenty ten. She's been dead for sixteen years,
<v Speaker 1>and she still looks fresher than the Bloodline does. Now
<v Speaker 1>shout out to death Site's grandmother. I don't really know
<v Speaker 1>what else to say to that, so we're just gonna
<v Speaker 1>move on. Philip Bowman, the Bloodline has passed nWo levels
<v Speaker 1>of redundant, not until they get the shirts they all
<v Speaker 1>have to get, like their own shirts. That's the one
<v Speaker 1>thing that the Bloodline. They haven't had their own custom
<v Speaker 1>shirts yet where they all wear them at the same time.
<v Speaker 1>Alexander says, you already know Roman is going to be
<v Speaker 1>the World heavyweight Champion until WrestleMania. No, I don't know that,
<v Speaker 1>because if he's here until the summer and he's gonna
<v Speaker 1>go away, then I don't want him to have the
<v Speaker 1>World heavyweight championship. If he's going away after summer, slimon,
<v Speaker 1>he's not going to be full time. Get that fucking
<v Speaker 1>belt off of him. That is the last thing we need.
<v Speaker 1>Base Bears says, I have blue balls from Cody versus Gunther. Well,
<v Speaker 1>that sounds like a problem to take up with your
<v Speaker 1>doctor face Pears Drew Drew mackincock one plus one. You're done,
<v Speaker 1>bitch wise words from brock Lester. Yeah, I mean look again,
<v Speaker 1>he he's a farm boy. He's a farm boy who
<v Speaker 1>probably you know, didn't take advance calculus. So although this
<v Speaker 1>is very basic remedial math that we're talking about here, so,
<v Speaker 1>but he's not being paid to do math. Nico says, Hey,
<v Speaker 1>Solo just got done with obsession. Holy shit, WTF in
<v Speaker 1>a good way. I recommend it to everyone to watch
<v Speaker 1>the movie as you should. It's my favorite movie of
<v Speaker 1>the year and hard to believe, but again, on a
<v Speaker 1>budget of under a million dollars, it is poised, if
<v Speaker 1>you can believe, it to gross in excess worldwide, in
<v Speaker 1>excess of two hundred and fifty million dollars. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know that there has ever been a movie in cinema
<v Speaker 1>history that will turn a profit the way that this
<v Speaker 1>movie will turn a profit. Like it's unbelievable. It's unbelievable.
<v Speaker 1>And I saw that they were they were supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be coming out with the movie on digital this week,
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, they got to push that shit.
<v Speaker 1>You can't. You cannot have the movie come out on
<v Speaker 1>digital this week. And so sure enough they pulled it
<v Speaker 1>from the schedule. I mean, it's look at the business
<v Speaker 1>it's doing. You got to keep that shit in theaters.
<v Speaker 1>So now they're giving it the full forty five day
<v Speaker 1>like theater release that all the big movies get. We'll
<v Speaker 1>see how how high they can run that score up. Man,
<v Speaker 1>two hundred and fifty maybe maybe three hundred million. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>they can do three hundred million worldwide on a budget
<v Speaker 1>of seven hundred and fifty thousand. Also made more in
<v Speaker 1>its third weekend than it did in each of the
<v Speaker 1>previous two weekends. And as far as I know, I
<v Speaker 1>think the only movie that has ever done that where
<v Speaker 1>its third weekend in release was its biggest weekend. I'm
<v Speaker 1>pretty sure the only movie ever to do that was ET,
<v Speaker 1>and that may be it. Besbier says, this is the
<v Speaker 1>most redundant decade yet. It may be at least in
<v Speaker 1>WWA Abystle Zones says, my depressing king of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Prediction is that Seth wins and they do the same
<v Speaker 1>match they supposedly wanted to originally do at WrestleMania this year. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, look, the best thing I can say about
<v Speaker 1>that is, at least it wouldn't be Bloodline against Bloodline.
<v Speaker 1>Chris did Triple H book himself to win every match
<v Speaker 1>on this card he was still active, he might have
<v Speaker 1>Kid Villain thirty dollars for three matches. Triple A is
<v Speaker 1>free on YouTube. It is. It's quite great. Actually, you
<v Speaker 1>know that's not gonna last for much longer, though only
<v Speaker 1>a matter of time. They gonna be putting that shit
<v Speaker 1>behind a paywall somewhere. Maybe they'll find a completely different
<v Speaker 1>streaming service that they'll force you to subscribe to. You
<v Speaker 1>then to watch Triple A. I don't think we have
<v Speaker 1>enough of those. Maybe we could add one more to
<v Speaker 1>the list. Spartan Sprinkles coming in hot with a five
<v Speaker 1>dollars super chip. By the way, we did hit the
<v Speaker 1>bonus goal. I didn't notice that. I did, indeed shout
<v Speaker 1>out to Noah Noah the mark in the chat. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what Blair Witch Project did worldwide on I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what the budget for that was or what
<v Speaker 1>the final global total was. But I don't know. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>maybe it's in the conversation. But Spartan says, Roman reigns
<v Speaker 1>forced to the top of the card, Brock spams finishers,
<v Speaker 1>best wrestler in the company, loses to Generic. Uh what,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. That means I thought that said Hawktua
<v Speaker 1>is like what Vince McMahon Booking Lives Retro. Koh Oba
<v Speaker 1>could have won, Brock could have cost Oba the tour,
<v Speaker 1>put his career on the line in a third match.
<v Speaker 1>F this booking, it all just made sense. That's why
<v Speaker 1>I laid it out. That's why I laid it out.
<v Speaker 1>We gotta let brocket his win back. Nico says, glad
<v Speaker 1>I watched the Grande Americano match while I was at
<v Speaker 1>a concert last night. Well worth it. Indeed it was Leo.
<v Speaker 1>I'm very convinced that they have just given up on
<v Speaker 1>the Keana and Julia breakup storyline. I'm so confused whether
<v Speaker 1>this company sees Keana as a future world champion or not.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know about future world champion, but I definitely
<v Speaker 1>think they see her having a bigger upside than Julia. Also,
<v Speaker 1>I really hope Charlotte is fighting for Keana backstage because
<v Speaker 1>I am getting worried. Yeah, I know the two of
<v Speaker 1>them are are good friends. I think Keano will be okay.
<v Speaker 1>I think they'll have plans for her. Julia, I'm less
<v Speaker 1>certain of. Jam says, like to see Lyra against EO
<v Speaker 1>in the Queen of the Ring finals. These two have
<v Speaker 1>such great chemistry and would probably be the best match
<v Speaker 1>in the tournament and the women's Match of the Year contender. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't mind that with EO going over. Alexander says,
<v Speaker 1>Gable is not on the King of the Ring either, sad. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>McIntyre's not in there, Orton's not in there, Batu's not
<v Speaker 1>in there. Gable's not in there. Yeah. Death sythe says,
<v Speaker 1>how's this for an idea? Obo wins the semi but
<v Speaker 1>he gets taken out by Brocks so he can't make
<v Speaker 1>it to the final and he gets replaced by Randy Orton,
<v Speaker 1>and Randy wins King of the Ring, so Randy just
<v Speaker 1>gets a buy right into the semi finals. I'd be
<v Speaker 1>pissed if I were the other people in the tournament.
<v Speaker 1>You know what I would rather see at this point
<v Speaker 1>at Summer Slim, and we still don't know exactly where
<v Speaker 1>he's gonna land, but I think SmackDown is the best
<v Speaker 1>place for him. Cody Rhoads against Cmpunk, how about we
<v Speaker 1>get behind that for your WWE Championship match at Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slim or is there not enough time to really build
<v Speaker 1>that up? I think there is. I'd rather see that
<v Speaker 1>at this point. Nko says, my little sister saw back rooms.
<v Speaker 1>In her own words, she enjoyed the first and second act.
<v Speaker 1>The third act was an interesting choice. If you know,
<v Speaker 1>you know, one of these days, I'm gonna go and
<v Speaker 1>watch it. You should. It's a very good movie. Not
<v Speaker 1>as good as Obsession, though, Philip Bowman, the vision is
<v Speaker 1>looking like a smacked ass, The team is looking like
<v Speaker 1>a smack that what it was that supposed to me?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what that means. Aaron says, wish they
<v Speaker 1>would have made King and Queen of the Ring special
<v Speaker 1>one night events. Yeah, but they haven't done that in years.
<v Speaker 1>Why would you think they would change and do that now?
<v Speaker 1>Nika Sasolo, do you enjoy the spoof and parody genre?
<v Speaker 1>If so, do you have a favorite spoof or parody
<v Speaker 1>movie Spaceballs? Yeah? I mean Spaceball's Airplane Naked Gun. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't see all of the scary movies, though I think
<v Speaker 1>I saw the first one might have been the only
<v Speaker 1>one that I I saw them. I don't think I
<v Speaker 1>saw any of the other ones. Chris Bars said, why
<v Speaker 1>is the son of Dusty never involved in a Dusty finish?
<v Speaker 1>Tonight would have been the perfect opportunity. That's a good question,
<v Speaker 1>Asu Amy. There are only two hundred thousand people in Samoa.
<v Speaker 1>The fact that there were seven Samoans on the screen
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the show is wild and extremely boring.
<v Speaker 1>At this point, the ratings in Samoa must be off
<v Speaker 1>the hook. It's a good point. I feel like maybe
<v Speaker 1>half the population of Samoa is actually on WWE television
<v Speaker 1>any given week. Dried Chicken says, Triple H is a caveman?
<v Speaker 1>Is Fred Flintstone? Sidrow, who was not a caveman, says
<v Speaker 1>it became vegan now every meal feels like a missed steak.
<v Speaker 1>My God, and bought a Humpty dumpty toy from all
<v Speaker 1>the It even came with all the kings horses and
<v Speaker 1>all the king's men. You had that one coming. That
<v Speaker 1>one was deserved. Brock should have cheated to win. How
<v Speaker 1>about Brock should not have won? I fixed it for you,
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy Rose. Just like Triple Ah's booking, I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>loop my chats Okay, Pumpkin Ryan Day with a nine
<v Speaker 1>to ninety nine the botch Snatcher whenever Simps get off her. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I know she hit it perfectly tonight, she nailed it tonight,
<v Speaker 1>But you know the next time she botches it, sure
<v Speaker 1>people are gonna jump down her throat. Jeremy Rose, this
<v Speaker 1>shit is trash. Thanks Triple H, Bruce and ps Hayes.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't be surprised if part of it was TKO,
<v Speaker 1>also TKO wanting, hey, you know you need more bloodline
<v Speaker 1>on these shows. I wouldn't be shocked if they had
<v Speaker 1>something to do with this. The oofman says, do you
<v Speaker 1>think Soul was messing up on purpose doing the soul
<v Speaker 1>Snatcher all these weeks to finally hit it correctly on
<v Speaker 1>the pl No, No, I don't, because then they would
<v Speaker 1>have made it more of a story, because you know
<v Speaker 1>the way WWE does things like subtlety is not their specialty.
<v Speaker 1>They have to beat you over the head with everything.
<v Speaker 1>They would have spelled that whole story out for you.
<v Speaker 1>They would have been showing her botching it on replays
<v Speaker 1>and stuff. Now she fucked it up, and tonight she didn't.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully she won't. Barry says in the Mask versus Mask match,
<v Speaker 1>can you tell me who it was that did the
<v Speaker 1>guitar hit. I haven't seen a lot of Triple A,
<v Speaker 1>so I didn't know who that was in the story.
<v Speaker 1>Why did they attack? I don't know who that was.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know who that was. I knew who the
<v Speaker 1>blind comedian was because he had been beaten up previously
<v Speaker 1>by Gable and Pimpinella. S Carlotta. I mean, come on now,
<v Speaker 1>I remember Pimpinella from the Luca Underground days. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>the person who hit him with the guitar, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know who that was. Jeremy says the this
<v Speaker 1>shit is trash. Thanks Triple AH to Bruce and PSA.
<v Speaker 1>He's looping his chats. He's staying true to what he
<v Speaker 1>said he was gonna do. Bender mc simpson did take
<v Speaker 1>her have any booking experience before Triple A. No, By
<v Speaker 1>the way, I would be very curious how much of
<v Speaker 1>this is everyone's giving Undertaker all the credit for this.
<v Speaker 1>You know, Jeremy Borash is also involved behind the scenes,
<v Speaker 1>and maybe it's more I feel like he's got many
<v Speaker 1>different hats that he wears, probably production wise as well.
<v Speaker 1>But I would not be surprised if Jeremy Borash had
<v Speaker 1>a little something to do with the booking as well.
<v Speaker 1>This is not all Triple Ah, is that like the
<v Speaker 1>sole booker of Triple A. We got to start showing
<v Speaker 1>Borash some love too. His name doesn't get mentioned enough.
<v Speaker 1>Prince Vegeta says In One Chris Benoi and Stone Cold
<v Speaker 1>Steve Austin had two WWF title matches. I think it
<v Speaker 1>would have been a great moment if ben Wah won
<v Speaker 1>one of those matches and had a short run dropping
<v Speaker 1>it back to Austin at the King of the Ring.
<v Speaker 1>Do you agree? No? No, Plus, it would have taken
<v Speaker 1>away from what he eventually won the title in O four.
<v Speaker 1>I think I think it worked out the way it
<v Speaker 1>was supposed to. He was not He was not the
<v Speaker 1>right person at that time to be taking the bell
<v Speaker 1>from Austin. Nico said regarding obsession, be careful what you
<v Speaker 1>wish for. Well, I wish for a good SmackDown last
<v Speaker 1>night night or the other night and it didn't work.
<v Speaker 1>I think I did it wrong. I think I must
<v Speaker 1>have I must have used my one wish Willow incorrectly.
<v Speaker 1>So but it's okay though, because I have another one
<v Speaker 1>that's being delivered to me, so I think it's coming
<v Speaker 1>not this week but next week, so I'll get to
<v Speaker 1>try again. Also, he says, anytime I see Tallatanga on TV,
<v Speaker 1>I chuckle and say, hey, I went to high school
<v Speaker 1>with that dude. Did you really was he as tall
<v Speaker 1>in high school as he is? Now? Oh? Was it Pimpinella? Who? Uh?
<v Speaker 1>All right it was it was? Are you trying to
<v Speaker 1>say it was Pimpinella who hit Gable with the guitar? Show?
<v Speaker 1>Was it was it Pimpanella? Maybe it was? Ah, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so it was Pimpinella who hit him with the guitar.
<v Speaker 1>So then I do know who it was. That's right.
<v Speaker 1>He was disguised, all right, So it was Pimpinella as Carlata,
<v Speaker 1>one of the great exotic goes in Lucha libre. Alright,
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy Rose, this shit is trash. Thanks Triple Ah for
<v Speaker 1>Bruce Mpsas Alexander says, the spirit of Tangaloa lives on
<v Speaker 1>in BFAB telling you man, you did one job one
<v Speaker 1>anti m Bishop watching the Triple A show, great effort.
<v Speaker 1>Why are we getting blood line? Mft reducts, h Og
<v Speaker 1>needs to come to Houston soon, Go, Spurs go. There's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be some there's gonna be some heartbreak coming to
<v Speaker 1>h town. I'm sorry to say We'll be in Houston
<v Speaker 1>at some point. I definitely have had conversations about that.
<v Speaker 1>The Uffman says, what inning are we at with the bloodline?
<v Speaker 1>I believe it is the top of the fourth Beace
<v Speaker 1>Beer says sixth inning. If we're being on no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>top of the fourth, we still got a waste to go.
<v Speaker 1>Aaron says, buy or sell, Paulovec, Vince Russo, don't do
<v Speaker 1>this to me. Don't do this to me. David says
<v Speaker 1>trash in Italy. I hated every single booking decision on
<v Speaker 1>this show. Jacob should have won Roman without his Island
<v Speaker 1>is better than reheated stale bs. The booking on this
<v Speaker 1>show is very questionable. Pumpkin, Ryan Day, you think you're
<v Speaker 1>leaving without hitting your goal? Well apparently not. Apparently not,
<v Speaker 1>thank you, Roy Ryan feeding into the goal here. Terry
<v Speaker 1>Funk you know that's true. Actually, the old Terry Funk
<v Speaker 1>quote applies perfectly to the blood Life Forever, forever, forever.
<v Speaker 1>How long will this Bloodline story go on? For forever?
<v Speaker 1>Bass Bears? I miss seven. I miss seven of the
<v Speaker 1>eight matches plus segments on pay per view. Even if
<v Speaker 1>short Brother, I think we all do, even six matches
<v Speaker 1>would be welcome. I don't need ten matches on a card,
<v Speaker 1>But fucking it's ridiculous. I mean, five matches on every
<v Speaker 1>show and they're charging some people thirty bucks for this stuff?
<v Speaker 1>Are you fucking kidding me? And they're given the first
<v Speaker 1>hour away on ESPN? What are we doing here? Uh? Pumpkin,
<v Speaker 1>Ryan Day, not on this Pumpkins watch. Appreciate you man.
<v Speaker 1>He pushed us, He pushed us to that goal. Thank you, Ryan,
<v Speaker 1>Tone C with a ten no message, just showing love.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Tone C, M and M two hundred one
<v Speaker 1>eighty three. What's better than Cody versus gun thre double
<v Speaker 1>be the Booker'd be kind of funny if we actually
<v Speaker 1>landed on Cody versus Gun through in our main event.
<v Speaker 1>We got big Kine twenty three. Can't understand why they
<v Speaker 1>buried Jade. We already saw rha Verse Charlotte and they
<v Speaker 1>need to bring back tom alaw Well, you mean Tongolo,
<v Speaker 1>Barry Jade. Jade'll be fine. Jade had her run and
<v Speaker 1>it was time for the title to come off for her.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to cry over the end of Jade
<v Speaker 1>Cargill's title run. When is ESPN Unlimited being integrated into
<v Speaker 1>YouTube TV supposedly not until the fall. It's ridiculous. Hey, Jeremy,
<v Speaker 1>thank you be man. The champ Roman leads o G
<v Speaker 1>Bloodline FA Too Bloodline Wolfpack with what like Solo's crew.
<v Speaker 1>Jacob's going to go back and usurp Solo is the leader?
<v Speaker 1>Is that really going to be radically different? Mike with
<v Speaker 1>a ten dollars super chat. Everybody's saying Oba needed to
<v Speaker 1>lose because being too dominant would hurt him long term. However,
<v Speaker 1>Braun has destroyed Seth since Mania and it hasn't hurt
<v Speaker 1>Braun just saying that's one of the reasons why I
<v Speaker 1>could see Rollins and Breaker in the finals. Honestly, with
<v Speaker 1>Rollin's getting his win back, I think there's a very
<v Speaker 1>good chance of that. Pumpkin, Ryan Day Blair Witch cost
<v Speaker 1>an estimated thirty thousand to sixty thousand and made two
<v Speaker 1>hundred and forty eight million. All right, well, obsession. If
<v Speaker 1>it adds fifty million more, I think that'll be even
<v Speaker 1>more impressive. Was it really only sixty thousand dollars for
<v Speaker 1>Blair Witch? I mean, I guess they didn't really have
<v Speaker 1>to worry about different set pieces or anything. Right, it's
<v Speaker 1>pretty much the same shed over and over again, super pony.
<v Speaker 1>Roman wins, Jacob falls in love or fall falls in love.
<v Speaker 1>You know Italy is a very romantic country. Ah, let
<v Speaker 1>me try that again. Roman wins, Jacob falls in line,
<v Speaker 1>not falls in love. What year is it? I could
<v Speaker 1>have sworn it was twenty twenty six. I could have
<v Speaker 1>sworn it was twenty twenty six. But maybe it's twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty one. But let's stop complaining and let it play out. Lol.
<v Speaker 1>Yes lol. Indeed, that would certainly be a different spin
<v Speaker 1>on the storyline if Jacob fought to ends up falling
<v Speaker 1>in love with Roman reigns. See, that's a different type
<v Speaker 1>of bloodline story that I don't think that we're really
<v Speaker 1>prepared for. It's not really the story I'm looking for here.
<v Speaker 1>Death syth If they insist on doing brock Oba at SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>Here's an idea. They face each other on night one
<v Speaker 1>and the winner faces Roman for the world title on
<v Speaker 1>night two, and it makes Oba look like a bigger
<v Speaker 1>star than before. You know, even the teas of another
<v Speaker 1>Brock and Roman match sends a shiver down my spine.
<v Speaker 1>It's an interesting idea. They're not going to do it.
<v Speaker 1>I definitely, you know, expect that they are going to
<v Speaker 1>want to have a Roman reign's main event to promote
<v Speaker 1>weeks in events. And again, we may have Roman's opponent
<v Speaker 1>solidified in the King of the Ring and it may
<v Speaker 1>not even matter. So it's an interesting It's an interesting thought,
<v Speaker 1>but not one that I see them doing. Oh we
<v Speaker 1>got Miles Woods. Thank god for alternative wrestling promotions. Always
<v Speaker 1>good to have competition retro koh unrelated because I was
<v Speaker 1>absent on Friday. Can we refer to Trick Williams as
<v Speaker 1>a champion named Trick back after that backhand? Yeah, he
<v Speaker 1>backhanded the shit out of Ricky stains be Man the champ.
<v Speaker 1>I miss Jeremy Borash doing ring announcing Man was a
<v Speaker 1>highlight of old TNA papers. Made the main events feel huge.
<v Speaker 1>He did Anti m Bishop says Mets are better than WWE. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, let's not get carried away. Now, Let's not
<v Speaker 1>get carried away now, Devin says, why is Triple H,
<v Speaker 1>one of the greatest heels in company history now afraid
<v Speaker 1>of being booed at these post show panels. Yeah, he's
<v Speaker 1>terrified of going out there now in front of the people.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think they brought him out in front of
<v Speaker 1>the fans, did they. He's he's been running scared. He's
<v Speaker 1>been interviewed in the back by like Kathy Kelly at
<v Speaker 1>some of these things. He refuses to go out in
<v Speaker 1>front of the people. I figure maybe in front of
<v Speaker 1>these Italy fans he would pop out there. But according
<v Speaker 1>to Devon, I guess not Vontelle biggest political power or
<v Speaker 1>Roman Triple H or Hogan. Hogan is just I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Hogan is that he will forever be the king of that.
<v Speaker 1>The man who had creative control in his contract can't
<v Speaker 1>beat that. Hogan will always be the master. You know
<v Speaker 1>who found out about that, Shawn Michaels. Even Shawn Michaels
<v Speaker 1>cannot out politic the great Hulk Hogan. But I would
<v Speaker 1>say Triple H is a close second. Jeremy says, you
<v Speaker 1>like how they put half the roster in seats just
<v Speaker 1>to get on the show but can't book more matches. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they flew them out there, but they couldn't get them
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. Link master X. I'm paying thirty dollars
<v Speaker 1>for pay per views and I get ads. Why you're
<v Speaker 1>asking the wrong person? I don't know you don't enjoy
<v Speaker 1>your big ad breaks in between all the matches. Jeremy says,
<v Speaker 1>I love you Solo will be back by the end
<v Speaker 1>of the year. I think I love you Solo will
<v Speaker 1>be back by the end of the week. At this point,
<v Speaker 1>fucking Jacob behind the scene, one says was Austin Wright
<v Speaker 1>for not jobbing to Brock in two uh yes and no,
<v Speaker 1>yes and no. His rationale for not wanting to do
<v Speaker 1>the job for Brock. He was one hundred percent correct.
<v Speaker 1>It was a stupid idea. Him walking out and taking
<v Speaker 1>it as far as he did. That was not the
<v Speaker 1>right move to make. But I think him not wanting
<v Speaker 1>to job to Brock because it was an advertised it
<v Speaker 1>was a King of the Ring qualifying match on a
<v Speaker 1>random TV show, and feeling like there was money to
<v Speaker 1>be made with them in main events on a pay
<v Speaker 1>per view. He's one hundred correct, you know, but you
<v Speaker 1>don't pack your bag and go to the airport and
<v Speaker 1>fly home. Aaron says, wwe is doing Live versus EO
<v Speaker 1>versus Soul in a title match on house shows and
<v Speaker 1>instead have Live in the crowd on the plees. It's
<v Speaker 1>like they want to keep the show's average. I Love
<v Speaker 1>You Roman, Yeah, we might get I Love You Roman
<v Speaker 1>tomorrow night or tomorrow afternoon. I'm sorry, Bender mc simpson.
<v Speaker 1>Mass versus Mask was great, but the two second delay
<v Speaker 1>on commentary reacting and calling moves was quite annoying. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna get into that on Tuesday. That was the
<v Speaker 1>one blight on the show for me. That was like,
<v Speaker 1>that was a real issue and I just don't understand.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I understand Corey Graves was was there in Italy.
<v Speaker 1>He was calling the show here with Michael Cole, So
<v Speaker 1>I guess maybe for him to be live in Mexico
<v Speaker 1>and Monterey and then have to fly for an afternoon show, oh,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it was a nighttime show in Italy, but
<v Speaker 1>logistically maybe that was impossible. But then get Wade Barrett
<v Speaker 1>to do the show here with Michael Cole, like, there
<v Speaker 1>was no reason for your announcers on a big show
<v Speaker 1>like this to not be there live in the arena.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that was a huge mistake. Pumpkin, Ryan Day
<v Speaker 1>Jade couldn't sell a dollar snow cone to a resident
<v Speaker 1>of Hell. We okay, and Jaba Femi lost to Timu
<v Speaker 1>Rock's Timu Rock Saints and Toni Spaghettio. Let's quit acting
<v Speaker 1>like he's unbeatable. Go Brock go, Yeah, Brock's going home
<v Speaker 1>in a few months. Brock's gonna be done momentarily. It's
<v Speaker 1>time to ship Brock off into the sunset. We got
<v Speaker 1>the Pats number one fan MFT and Bloodlines merge like
<v Speaker 1>the nWo Elite in ninety nine. That sounds absolutely deplorable.
<v Speaker 1>Bender mcsimpson. Who was the better commentator when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to not knowing the names of moves, Vince McMahon or
<v Speaker 1>Eric Bischoff. Oh, it's Vince McMahon. It's not even close.
<v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon was just objectively a better announcer in every
<v Speaker 1>way than Eric Bischoff. Like, it's I don't like I'm
<v Speaker 1>offended that that's even a question. God Phoenix sixty six
<v Speaker 1>can we let Hulk Hogan. Can we let Hulk Hogan
<v Speaker 1>rest in peace? Please? Who's not letting Hulk Hogan rest
<v Speaker 1>in peace? I don't know. Why don't you tell that
<v Speaker 1>to Netflix? They did a whole four part documentary on him.
<v Speaker 1>So guess what people are going to have opinions on it.
<v Speaker 1>You don't like it too bad? Uh, super Pony, imagine
<v Speaker 1>Ko is ready to come back. He's excited. He says,
<v Speaker 1>what plans do you have for me? A feud with
<v Speaker 1>Punk maybe? Or a world title run? They say, how
<v Speaker 1>about Bloodline? Again? He says, I'm good. My next still hurts.
<v Speaker 1>I saw his tweet earlier, he says, I miss wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>So I tweeted him back. I said, well wrestling missus
<v Speaker 1>you We could certainly use him on SmackDown right now?
<v Speaker 1>Oh thank you, super Pony. And I think that we
<v Speaker 1>are all caught up now. I do believe that we
<v Speaker 1>are all caught up for now. Now. The likes goal,
<v Speaker 1>I just got to show we smashed it. But I
<v Speaker 1>just got to show you guys. It was five hundred
<v Speaker 1>and fifteen likes. We are currently sitting at eight hundred
<v Speaker 1>and forty three. You know, this is kind of like
<v Speaker 1>obsession where it was made like on a very low budget,
<v Speaker 1>but then it just completely blew past all expectations. The
<v Speaker 1>goal was five point fifteen. Is it possible that we
<v Speaker 1>could hit a thousand likes before we get out of here?
<v Speaker 1>Is that possible? We have seventeen hundred people still here,
<v Speaker 1>so I would say it is very much possible. Reekinson,
<v Speaker 1>what's going on? Man? Fifty four months? He's a sound
<v Speaker 1>of legend. Did you ever listen to sneaker Pimps? I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what that is, so I'm gonna say no
<v Speaker 1>because I feel like I would remember that name if
<v Speaker 1>I knew what that was. So while you guys marinate
<v Speaker 1>on that, you've got a couple of rounds to be
<v Speaker 1>the booker coming your way. So let's get to it.
<v Speaker 1>Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>Let's do it clash in Italy. Can we book a
<v Speaker 1>better card than Paul of K I think we can.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna do a Paul of VEC didn't have the
<v Speaker 1>balls to do tonight. I'm gonna book a tag team match.
<v Speaker 1>At least I have a division. I didn't say it
<v Speaker 1>was a great one, but I did say I have
<v Speaker 1>a division. Uh too cool? Too cool was very popular
<v Speaker 1>once upon a time, Grandmaster sex A and Scottie too Hottie.
<v Speaker 1>They are going to be booked against who? What does
<v Speaker 1>our tag team match here be? The booker is over
<v Speaker 1>after the Wyat six massacred A man, oh, no ah, No,
<v Speaker 1>I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't
<v Speaker 1>believe it. The Wyat six has massacred the entire roster.
<v Speaker 1>A man, boy, I'll tell you what though, I'll tell
<v Speaker 1>you what. Well, First of all, that answers the question
<v Speaker 1>of can we book a better card than Paulovac. What
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna say is the good thing is that
<v Speaker 1>you guys unlocked a bonus round and this does not
<v Speaker 1>affect the bonus round. It does affect this round. This
<v Speaker 1>round is out the window. However, we do have a
<v Speaker 1>bonus round, so we will we will move on to
<v Speaker 1>the bonus round. I can't do that to you. I can't.
<v Speaker 1>I can't. We can't lose both rounds. But these are
<v Speaker 1>the rules. Though. You know, when you land on that,
<v Speaker 1>it's over. That's it. We've got a couple of those
<v Speaker 1>in there. Okay, Well, onto the stipulations we go hopefully
<v Speaker 1>we'll stay away from that. There we go. Anarchy in
<v Speaker 1>the arena. We just had one of these. We just
<v Speaker 1>had stadium stampede last week. Anarchy in the arena. That
<v Speaker 1>means I have to book five on Oh my god. Wait,
<v Speaker 1>oh man, all right, well, here's what we're gonna do.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna keep We're gonna keep it to five on.
<v Speaker 1>So we're making up for the round we just lost.
<v Speaker 1>Because now I got a book, a five on five
<v Speaker 1>anarchy in the arena match, and we're gonna go to
<v Speaker 1>the men. Oh boy, five on five. All right, pull
<v Speaker 1>your pencils out, everybody. I need you to keep track
<v Speaker 1>of these teams in case I forget Anarchy in the
<v Speaker 1>arena Team number one? Are you fucking Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, you have got to be shitting me.
<v Speaker 1>You have got to be shitting me. This cannot this
<v Speaker 1>cannot be real. This that did not just happen. Tell
<v Speaker 1>me that did not just happen. I can't. I can't
<v Speaker 1>believe that. How can I How can I do that
<v Speaker 1>to you guys? How can I do that to you guys?
<v Speaker 1>We can't, we can't do this. I cannot allow this
<v Speaker 1>to stand. I cannot allow this to stand. So I'll
<v Speaker 1>tell you what I'm gonna do. We're gonna start this
<v Speaker 1>round over again, because that is impossible. That is impossible
<v Speaker 1>for that to happen. Do you know how many options
<v Speaker 1>are in these things? Dozens, hundreds. The fact that we
<v Speaker 1>landed on that twice is literally unbelievable. We're gonna start over.
<v Speaker 1>We lost anarchy in the arena. I am bound and
<v Speaker 1>determined to give you this round that you unlocked. We
<v Speaker 1>go from anarchy in the arena to kennel from Hell?
<v Speaker 1>Are you kidding me? We made it worse. We actually
<v Speaker 1>made it worse. We have a Kennel from Hell match
<v Speaker 1>with the Nature Boy Rick Flair. By do I have
<v Speaker 1>a segment on him coming up on the Young Crown
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling Show on Tuesday. Ric Flair is going to be
<v Speaker 1>in Kennel from Hell though, and he's going to be
<v Speaker 1>wrestling Malachi Black in a kennel from Helma. It's kennel
<v Speaker 1>from Hell. Take two. Two great wrestlers like this, they
<v Speaker 1>deserve more than kennel from Hell. I can't give that
<v Speaker 1>the bell. I can't do that. Well, only it's only
<v Speaker 1>up from here, right, brawl for all? We go from
<v Speaker 1>Kennel from this is this is like an Attitude era
<v Speaker 1>edition to be the booker here we go from Kennel
<v Speaker 1>from Hell to Brawl for All. It's like it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be in all mens, be the booker here because I
<v Speaker 1>cannot in good conscience allow the ladies to go into
<v Speaker 1>Bra for All. We have tired Mike Tyson. It's over
<v Speaker 1>like it. It's fucking Bra for All. It doesn't matter
<v Speaker 1>who was on the other side of the ring with him.
<v Speaker 1>That person is done and they're dead. It's over fucking
<v Speaker 1>Mike Tyson in Bral for All. I don't want to
<v Speaker 1>be in the ring with him, even if he is
<v Speaker 1>tired and yawning. Who's Mike Tyson knocking out androde l
<v Speaker 1>Ideloh hey, you know what? That couldn't be a fun one. Androtte, Look, Androtti,
<v Speaker 1>he didn he punch out or sucker punch Sammy Gavara
<v Speaker 1>wants backstage. He's still gonna lose, but I think Androte
<v Speaker 1>might put up an interesting fight. Some of these matches
<v Speaker 1>are just unbelievable. Oh God, it gets worse. How what
<v Speaker 1>is going on tonight? Kennell from Hell to Brawl for
<v Speaker 1>All to a Yappa Pie strap match. This is when
<v Speaker 1>hul Cogan cut that promo on Rick Flair talked about
<v Speaker 1>and I quote the strapation. Get ready for the strapation?
<v Speaker 1>Are you ready to? Are you ready for the strapation?
<v Speaker 1>From hul Cogan? These matches are horrible, absolutely horrible. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what's going on here. I really don't. Am
<v Speaker 1>I cursed by Dan House? I don't. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>I'm cursed by Dan Holsen. I think be the Booker's
<v Speaker 1>been cursed by Dan Holsen. All right, a Yappa Pie
<v Speaker 1>strap match. That's it. We've that's it, We've We've just
<v Speaker 1>gone completely off the rails. I don't. I don't even know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know what else to say. Every time
<v Speaker 1>I say that it can't possibly get any worse, it
<v Speaker 1>has progressively gotten worse. We we just got done talking
<v Speaker 1>about Hulk Hogan and the Strapation and we land on
<v Speaker 1>gangrel is watching you masturbate spin again. Look at the
<v Speaker 1>look on this man. Look at the look on this
<v Speaker 1>man's face. What is this? What is this? Be the Booker?
<v Speaker 1>What is happening here? How did we get here? Hogan
<v Speaker 1>in the strap match? And again, stop watching me? Why
<v Speaker 1>are you watching me? It's that face gangrel Stop, you
<v Speaker 1>have a problem, you need help. Oh, try again, he's
<v Speaker 1>out of control, he really is. Okay, curd Angle and Hulkogan.
<v Speaker 1>Fuck it, finally, way decent match here. Oh my God,
<v Speaker 1>get me out of here, please enough. That's the worst.
<v Speaker 1>That is the worst Be the Booker we've ever done.
<v Speaker 1>It was just one disaster after another. It just somehow
<v Speaker 1>it kept getting worse. But I couldn't. I couldn't, you know,
<v Speaker 1>once we unlocked that second goal. I couldn't take that
<v Speaker 1>second round away from you guys, even though I should have,
<v Speaker 1>per the rules, but I couldn't do that to you. Well,
<v Speaker 1>that was one for the books. I'll say that last
<v Speaker 1>few super cheats here, Jeremy says, do you think Hayman
<v Speaker 1>would book better than Triple H? Yes? Q Dog sixty
<v Speaker 1>months of channel membership, a new reason to hate, the
<v Speaker 1>new reason to hate the Wyatt six. Now they're still
<v Speaker 1>in there. They're still in there. One of these days
<v Speaker 1>they're going to cost you an entire be the Booker again.
<v Speaker 1>We have never landed on that twice in a row though.
<v Speaker 1>That is a first. That is the first time that's
<v Speaker 1>ever happened. Maybe forty one eighty one while things got
<v Speaker 1>hot and heavy in the elevator for Kaiser and his woman,
<v Speaker 1>the other guy should have played Mark Henry's old love
<v Speaker 1>theme on his phone. I think things got a little
<v Speaker 1>hot and heavy in that last round of Be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker There, Eric says, joining the stream just now? Was jarring?
<v Speaker 1>Was it was? It was a gangrel watching you? Is
<v Speaker 1>that with it naked naked dried chickens as Triple h
<v Speaker 1>is using voodoo magic? Be the Booker Death sith, what
<v Speaker 1>do you think of Batista scene of brock and Orton
<v Speaker 1>being inducted into the Hall of Fame in the same year.
<v Speaker 1>It would make sense since they are the class of
<v Speaker 1>O two. Uh, that's not gonna happen because WWE is
<v Speaker 1>not going to put that many big names in in
<v Speaker 1>one class. You know, there's only so many names left,
<v Speaker 1>big names left to go in, and so they're going
<v Speaker 1>to want to divide that up, so there's no way
<v Speaker 1>they're going to put them all in together. They got
<v Speaker 1>Mega X zero forever have you seen Mask versus Mask?
<v Speaker 1>Miss p l E had a family emergency. Thank you
<v Speaker 1>for the podcast. They helped a lot today. Well hopefully
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't anything too serious. I did see Mask versus Mask,
<v Speaker 1>and I will be reviewing it and commenting on the
<v Speaker 1>on Crowned Wrestling Show on Tuesday. I would have commented
<v Speaker 1>on it on the sound Off today, however, because of
<v Speaker 1>this fucking ple I had to get the sound off
<v Speaker 1>up a day early, and so I saw the Triple
<v Speaker 1>A show after the fact. But that's the beauty of
<v Speaker 1>having two podcasts now in one week. I could comment
<v Speaker 1>on it on the next show, and we got Ray
<v Speaker 1>Kwan with a dollar ninety nine. Jacob will be Roman's butler,
<v Speaker 1>like on Seinfeld's what I said the other day. I
<v Speaker 1>mentioned that the other day, I mentioned when George got
<v Speaker 1>in that car accident and he had to be that
<v Speaker 1>guy's butler. It's basically what the storyline is. So Tomorrow Tomorrow,
<v Speaker 1>Raw airs at two pm on Netflix, and if you dare,
<v Speaker 1>I may have scared some people off here tonight, but
<v Speaker 1>I'll be live again about eight pm Eastern, just like
<v Speaker 1>tonight for the Raw recap tomorrow, since there's no need
<v Speaker 1>to wait to go live until eleven o'clock. And so
<v Speaker 1>that'll be tomorrow, and then yes, there'll be a brand
<v Speaker 1>new episode of The Uncrowned Wrestling Show dropping on Tuesday
<v Speaker 1>on its own again. It's got its own dedicated podcast feed,
<v Speaker 1>or you can get it if you're sub to the
<v Speaker 1>aerial hell Wani show feed for his audio podcast. It's
<v Speaker 1>posted there as well. And then we got Tuesday Night
<v Speaker 1>TNT with myself and JD Tuesday Night Titans. We have
<v Speaker 1>the Dynamite post show this week. We got SmackDown Post
<v Speaker 1>Italy which is in Italy on Friday, and that will
<v Speaker 1>also very likely be an earlier stream, just like it
<v Speaker 1>was this past Friday. Cause again this month there's a
<v Speaker 1>lot of international dates, so just keep that in mind.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of these streams will probably end up being
<v Speaker 1>two or three hours earlier than usual. I won't be
<v Speaker 1>going live immediately after the shows, but probably around eight
<v Speaker 1>eight thirty ish is one you can expect to see
<v Speaker 1>me live, So just make sure you're sub to the
<v Speaker 1>channel notification bell is turned on and that way you
<v Speaker 1>won't miss a thing. So thank you, guys. I hope
<v Speaker 1>I entertained you here for these two and a half
<v Speaker 1>hours or so, maybe more so than wwe did. Go
<v Speaker 1>check out the sound off from yesterday. Be well, stay safe,
<v Speaker 1>have yourselves a great rest of your night, and I
<v Speaker 1>will try to shake off some horrible images that we
<v Speaker 1>had there and be the booker, and we'll come back
<v Speaker 1>and do it again tomorrow. Until then, take care, guys,
