<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katy and Josh makes one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>My wife this morning trying to look at the hamster
<v Speaker 2>in his cage and give him some lettuce and some
<v Speaker 2>little snacks. And she was trying to find him and
<v Speaker 2>she turned the flashlight on on her phone and he
<v Speaker 2>was blinded by the light.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, oh, sorry, little buddy.
<v Speaker 4>He popped out.
<v Speaker 3>Was like this little monster, a little hamster face. When
<v Speaker 3>they look at you right like what.
<v Speaker 4>You're blinding hair?
<v Speaker 3>Guys, it's trying to find him. He means the morning lettuce.
<v Speaker 3>It's little whiskers.
<v Speaker 5>Oh cute, Boddy saw a hamster Jesus for a second.
<v Speaker 2>Morning lettuce, which is a lot of like some of
<v Speaker 2>our listeners they get up and have a little a
<v Speaker 2>little bit of that hippie lettuce. Hey, good morning, it's Jeremy,
<v Speaker 2>Katy Josh here at Denver's makes one hundred. Did you
<v Speaker 2>sit for ten minutes this morning?
<v Speaker 4>Katie?
<v Speaker 3>I did.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>It's a new thing.
<v Speaker 6>Well it's been going on for centuries, but it's new
<v Speaker 6>to me. They say, when you wake up in the morning,
<v Speaker 6>the first thing you should do is go sit in
<v Speaker 6>silence for ten minutes, like I'm talking, before you brush
<v Speaker 6>your teeth before you make your bed, you go to
<v Speaker 6>a place that's completely silent and you just sit with
<v Speaker 6>your thoughts and it helps you control the day instead
<v Speaker 6>of the day controlling you.
<v Speaker 3>And it really did it.
<v Speaker 6>I've done it for the past couple of days now
<v Speaker 6>and it's helped me really just feel like I have
<v Speaker 6>a little bit more control over the day.
<v Speaker 4>If you anything, you say, like.
<v Speaker 6>You just kind of sit and like process what you're
<v Speaker 6>going to go through in that day. Like I thought
<v Speaker 6>about the show and you know, things I was going
<v Speaker 6>to talk about, and then I thought, you know, after
<v Speaker 6>the show, going on my run and you know, making
<v Speaker 6>sure I did all the things I needed to do today,
<v Speaker 6>Like I genuinely thought about each one and how I
<v Speaker 6>was going to proceed with them.
<v Speaker 3>I did, and it really.
<v Speaker 6>Made me feel I'm a little bit more grown up,
<v Speaker 6>a little bit more awake, and I've liked it the
<v Speaker 6>last couple of days, so I'm gonna keep going with it.
<v Speaker 2>Why do I feel like you were sitting there in silence, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and about four minutes in you were like.
<v Speaker 6>I knew, I just knew you were going to do
<v Speaker 6>that well to start my day.
<v Speaker 3>Just the natural part of waking up, Jeremy.
<v Speaker 6>Okay, you get enough fiber in the day before.
<v Speaker 3>That's exactly how it's supposed to show.
<v Speaker 2>Make a leg a high magahiy oh.
<v Speaker 4>Hey, did you guys know it's June first?
<v Speaker 5>Yes, yes, already, news man.
<v Speaker 2>So I was perusing some stuff on the IG and
<v Speaker 2>I saw some sort of chocolate twinkie or something katie.
<v Speaker 6>Yes, I had never, ever, ever, had ever had a
<v Speaker 6>chocolate covered twinkie. And I was down at the outlets
<v Speaker 6>and Castle Rock over the weekend and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
<v Speaker 3>You know, they've got a little shop there down in
<v Speaker 3>the outlet.
<v Speaker 4>You know that.
<v Speaker 2>I sound stock in Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Smart twenty shares. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it hasn't done anything really.
<v Speaker 3>Oh. I love that place.
<v Speaker 6>And the thing is is they have, you know, their
<v Speaker 6>little showcase, if you will. So they have all of
<v Speaker 6>the things that you get to pick from and just
<v Speaker 6>so overwhelming. And I wanted like a nut caramel cluster.
<v Speaker 6>That's what I went in there exactly. But when I
<v Speaker 6>went in, they had all of those fun things that
<v Speaker 6>they cover in chocolate. They had the Rice Crispy treat,
<v Speaker 6>they had different candy bars and whatnot. They had the
<v Speaker 6>chocolate covered twinkie. I had never had a chocolate covered
<v Speaker 6>twinkie and like the chocolate dial back, yes, and so
<v Speaker 6>I just was like, I have to get it. I
<v Speaker 6>have to try it, at least so I hate it,
<v Speaker 6>made a whole little TikTok video about it and whatnot.
<v Speaker 3>But it was tasty. I have to say that, you know, Rocky.
<v Speaker 6>Mountain, the chocolate factory, their actual chocolate is just so
<v Speaker 6>smooth and delicious and it has such a distinct taste.
<v Speaker 3>It kind of overpowered the twins, I would think. So
<v Speaker 3>you know, I didn't really taste.
<v Speaker 4>You lost the tie a whole lot.
<v Speaker 3>But it was so good.
<v Speaker 6>It was just like a very thick piece of just
<v Speaker 6>milk chocolate that I ate.
<v Speaker 4>It looked like just a block of chocolate on a stick.
<v Speaker 6>It did, and it was so good, like so worth it.
<v Speaker 6>I was only able to eat half of it. I know, shocking,
<v Speaker 6>but I will eat that. Yeah, you know I will,
<v Speaker 6>you know I will. But it was worth it. It
<v Speaker 6>was worth trying it for sure.
<v Speaker 2>I had the impulse by this weekend at Sam's when
<v Speaker 2>I went in and they had, Uh, this was new.
<v Speaker 2>I'd never seen these before. But the big container of
<v Speaker 2>the what was it? It was cookie dough and chocolate
<v Speaker 2>chip brownies, and then there was like a swirl to
<v Speaker 2>it and there was like, you know, you get like
<v Speaker 2>forty of them in a container, and.
<v Speaker 4>I got it you did? It was Oh my god,
<v Speaker 4>it's so good.
<v Speaker 3>Where is it?
<v Speaker 4>Well, it's at the house.
<v Speaker 2>You know what's funny is I keep clipping the lid
<v Speaker 2>open and I'll just walk by and I'll grab a square. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and I'll just take a bite out of it and
<v Speaker 2>put it back in there. And then I noticed, like
<v Speaker 2>if I go back, there's like another bite out of it,
<v Speaker 2>And I'm like, nick Na, why.
<v Speaker 4>Are you doing that to me?
<v Speaker 3>I just following your lead, I think so.
<v Speaker 2>But I sent Katie like ten pictures this weekend of
<v Speaker 2>all the pastries and all the stuff at Sam's.
<v Speaker 3>No I asked you to bring it in too.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Well, again, I take a bite out of each and
<v Speaker 2>every I don't think you're gonna want that all right?
<v Speaker 7>Time for sports, what do you got, Josh, Well, it's
<v Speaker 7>not the NFL season and the Nuggets and the Avalanche
<v Speaker 7>are out of the playoffs, so what do we get?
<v Speaker 7>We get Rockies news, The Rockies did one of the
<v Speaker 7>weirdest things.
<v Speaker 5>Katie, yeay, the crowd shows mild.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, No, the Rockies are one of the weirdest things.
<v Speaker 7>Where to end the month of May, they lose three
<v Speaker 7>straight to the Dodgers. But then they come back and
<v Speaker 7>they come back to Colorado and play the Giants. Now,
<v Speaker 7>the San FRANCICAUS Cisco Giants are not great this year,
<v Speaker 7>and the Rockies start off the series great. They win
<v Speaker 7>the first game eight to three, score eight runs. The
<v Speaker 7>next game, We're like, hey, we're going to the World Series.
<v Speaker 7>We saw sixteen runs in two games. What did they
<v Speaker 7>do yesterday? Lose nineteen to six. They got nineteen runs
<v Speaker 7>scored on. The Giants just kept going around. It was
<v Speaker 7>like ring around the rosie. They just kept going around
<v Speaker 7>and a round and a round. So the Rockies rounded
<v Speaker 7>out May in a historic loss. Yeah, it was horrendous.
<v Speaker 7>It was awful. So the Rockies are starting June on
<v Speaker 7>a weird, weird note. We'll see how that month. But
<v Speaker 7>one thing that I wanted to talk about specifically was
<v Speaker 7>Yelp just released one hundred of the greatest sports bars
<v Speaker 7>around the nation. Denver has three spots in the top
<v Speaker 7>one hundred and one spot in the top ten. I
<v Speaker 7>wanted to give a shout out to Esther's Virginia Village.
<v Speaker 7>They came in at number eighty three. Ester's is a
<v Speaker 7>fantastic spot, Katie.
<v Speaker 3>Their carrot cake, Jeremy is out of this world.
<v Speaker 5>I want to take carrot cake.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, sports stuff, tell me more about this carry cake?
<v Speaker 5>I know. Have you had the Rony Rolls as well?
<v Speaker 3>My god, they have a pizza.
<v Speaker 6>It's called the Bliss Pizza and its thinly sliced potatoes on.
<v Speaker 2>It and it is sliced potatoes on my carrot cake
<v Speaker 2>on top of a.
<v Speaker 5>Nachos also are to die for.
<v Speaker 3>The top ten the Fat tire.
<v Speaker 7>My so Esters comes in eighty three Ester was amazing
<v Speaker 7>and then thirty five The Celtic on Market. The Celtic
<v Speaker 7>bar has been here for forever. Celtic is fantastic. But
<v Speaker 7>I did want to give a little special shout out
<v Speaker 7>to the one that came in at number six in
<v Speaker 7>the nation. What number six in the nation for sports bars?
<v Speaker 7>The British Bulldog. Now this one is super old. It
<v Speaker 7>comes from a tavern that was here in eighteen eighty
<v Speaker 7>so it's one hundred and forty plus years old and
<v Speaker 7>I've never been here, but it's like the number one
<v Speaker 7>spot in order to watch anything related to soccer here
<v Speaker 7>in Denver, including the Colorado Rapids or anything around the world.
<v Speaker 7>And all of their food is basically all British food,
<v Speaker 7>which I love it.
<v Speaker 2>Rodway and Stout, Yes, Broadway and Stout right off A twentieth.
<v Speaker 2>It's like a dinky, little old building.
<v Speaker 5>It looks so cool. I want to go here so bad.
<v Speaker 3>I think I was there one solid.
<v Speaker 7>Everyone says their fish and chips are absolutely to die for.
<v Speaker 7>They also have to the old one to twenty one
<v Speaker 7>esb on tap, which is a majorly old beer that's
<v Speaker 7>served in Britain and everybody raves about it. I've never
<v Speaker 7>had it.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, but you got a pita Dip.
<v Speaker 5>A pita have to die for.
<v Speaker 3>They have smashed peas though, Oh.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, you're right. I don't know a dumb question.
<v Speaker 3>It's not a dumb question.
<v Speaker 7>All I know is the yelpers said this deserves to
<v Speaker 7>be a top six spot in the nation. The food
<v Speaker 7>is a ten every single time. The smashed piece are
<v Speaker 7>smash piece are great? Why are people people are going
<v Speaker 7>there for the smashed Peace that's.
<v Speaker 4>Why they're going Katie smash. Yes, of course, it's the
<v Speaker 4>old school bar. That's what I want to go.
<v Speaker 2>I'm leaving.
<v Speaker 3>We can all go for different reasons.
<v Speaker 4>I'm gonna sit there at the bar and smash my
<v Speaker 4>own piece.
<v Speaker 3>You do that at every bar.
<v Speaker 2>While we were just playing a little dua lipa and
<v Speaker 2>I guess she got married to actor Callum Turner on
<v Speaker 2>Sunday during an intimate ceremony at some sort of town
<v Speaker 2>hall in London. Photos showed the newlywed smiling as they
<v Speaker 2>left the venue a while friends and families tots confetti.
<v Speaker 2>We Turner okay, uh, anyway, they look happy.
<v Speaker 5>I'm excited for them. Millions of young men are sad.
<v Speaker 4>I feel like we said the her for sure.
<v Speaker 6>I think women look up to her too, though, because
<v Speaker 6>she's so smart, Like she's very very vocal about how
<v Speaker 6>she loves to read, she has a book club, she
<v Speaker 6>knows a bunch of different languages, Like she's super smart.
<v Speaker 3>And I like that about her a lot. So good
<v Speaker 3>for do a leap big hooray, all.
<v Speaker 2>Right, toy story five I guess is coming out and
<v Speaker 2>they're having a little what are they calling their sparking
<v Speaker 2>like excitement by maybe including Taylor Swift somehow in Toiler's
<v Speaker 2>Toilers story, might as well just name it that Taylor
<v Speaker 2>story Taylor's story. Anyway, they have a billboard out with
<v Speaker 2>the initials t S in Andy's bedroom. It's got the
<v Speaker 2>wallpaper there and the little clouds. Now all this fifties
<v Speaker 2>are speculating that Taylor Swift is the TS and it's
<v Speaker 2>a toy story.
<v Speaker 6>I just, yeah, I get it. You know, good on
<v Speaker 6>Pixar for taking something and running with it.
<v Speaker 3>Of course, they're going to get a lot of attention
<v Speaker 3>by even alluding to.
<v Speaker 6>The fact that it's Taylor, So even if she's not
<v Speaker 6>going to show up in the movie, I think it's
<v Speaker 6>smarter them to capitalize on it, making.
<v Speaker 5>More of this story. Here.
<v Speaker 2>It says they feel rumors by posting a video of
<v Speaker 2>the cowgirl Jesse dancing on the billboard with the caption
<v Speaker 2>she's making those moves up as she goes, quoting lyrics
<v Speaker 2>from Taylor Swift's twenty fourteen hit.
<v Speaker 4>Shake It Off.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, so that's why people are thinking this Swift
<v Speaker 2>he might be evolved, and why not? I mean, what
<v Speaker 2>a great little fit you know, it would be for
<v Speaker 2>all the kids and everybody who.
<v Speaker 5>So there's that.
<v Speaker 2>And then finally, I want to play you some audio
<v Speaker 2>of this guy. It's a social media influencer, Alan Farrell.
<v Speaker 2>It looks like he's in hot water right now after
<v Speaker 2>a stunt or he tried to eat a ten piece
<v Speaker 2>chicken nugget while on a roller coaster went viral. He
<v Speaker 2>snuck the nuggets onto the roller coaster by putting them
<v Speaker 2>in his underpants. Then he had a friend film him
<v Speaker 2>while he ate them on the ride. He even dunked
<v Speaker 2>them in sauce, which was a mess.
<v Speaker 5>Natural.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, there is honey mustard everywhere.
<v Speaker 2>They kicked him out and banned him for life. Here's
<v Speaker 2>him talking about it.
<v Speaker 8>It was definitely really hard. So I see why Cedar
<v Speaker 8>Point reacted the way they did, because I can see
<v Speaker 8>why there's safety measures and everything like that.
<v Speaker 5>It was hard.
<v Speaker 8>I had to try not to choke almost the entire ride.
<v Speaker 8>I had no idea Cedar Point even seeing the video
<v Speaker 8>until I got a message saying I've been banned for
<v Speaker 8>life from Cedar Point, which really hurts because I've been
<v Speaker 8>going there since i was a little kid. I'm a
<v Speaker 8>season pass holder. I'm definitely sad. About how it ended up.
<v Speaker 8>But I understand why they went the way they did.
<v Speaker 8>They don't want a bunch of other people trying to
<v Speaker 8>pull off challenges like I do.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, and they don't want anybody dying on a roller coaster.
<v Speaker 3>Not an idiot, Okay, he looks.
<v Speaker 5>Like someone who'd roller coaster.
<v Speaker 3>He's not cute, are you kidding? Like he could have died?
<v Speaker 4>He Like, what a way to go.
<v Speaker 6>The fact that kids will do things like this just
<v Speaker 6>for clicks and views and likes and to be famous,
<v Speaker 6>like he could have died.
<v Speaker 3>What an idiot? And I hope he learned his lesson.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, thanks mom, say that, Come on if you care.
<v Speaker 2>He managed to eat seven of the ten nuggets during
<v Speaker 2>the ride, so he got seven down.
<v Speaker 5>Guys.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, Oh, it's finny fine.
<v Speaker 2>The funniest part is this guy had chicken nuggets in
<v Speaker 2>his underwear and then he was like, Hey, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>pull these chicken nuggets out of my underwear and put
<v Speaker 2>them in my mouth on a roller coaster.
<v Speaker 3>Idiot? What an idiot?
<v Speaker 6>Where did he keep the He got grounded for the
<v Speaker 6>rest of the summer, Like, I hope he gotten so much?
<v Speaker 2>Try mom, seriously, Okay, mom, Okay, what your kid does this?
<v Speaker 3>We can talk about it again because it's dumb.
<v Speaker 5>His kid would get all ten down.
<v Speaker 3>Come on, it's so stupid.
<v Speaker 6>But anyway, let's talk about something that's gonna lift you
<v Speaker 6>is underpage. Let's talk about something that's gonna lift our
<v Speaker 6>mood because the Denver Zoo.
<v Speaker 3>Welcome to a little baby orang A Dan last week
<v Speaker 3>and it was born to a little fifteen year old Hesty.
<v Speaker 6>She had her first baby, and she has such an
<v Speaker 6>interesting story at the Denver Zoo. She was born at
<v Speaker 6>the Denver Zoo fifteen years ago and had kind of
<v Speaker 6>a hard start to her life, Like the zoo keepers
<v Speaker 6>had to make sure that she was fed right. She
<v Speaker 6>wasn't being acclimated with her mom in the right way,
<v Speaker 6>so they really had to make sure that she was
<v Speaker 6>able to have a good start at the zoo.
<v Speaker 3>So a lot of the people who worked.
<v Speaker 6>With her when she was a baby are still working
<v Speaker 6>there now and helped her welcome her first baby.
<v Speaker 3>So it's such a herdwarming story story.
<v Speaker 6>No, and they want your help naming that little oring
<v Speaker 6>doing No, no, No. All the options right now are rem
<v Speaker 6>bouten Oka and Joe Martin.
<v Speaker 1>Some of the night you can vote on I got
<v Speaker 1>the best namekay, spank.
<v Speaker 3>I don't think they like the Monkey. No, I don't
<v Speaker 3>think they like that.
<v Speaker 6>Again, that's stupid, because because I know why you're doing that.
<v Speaker 3>J Martin, is what I would go with.
<v Speaker 4>Spank.
<v Speaker 3>No, No, we can't be spank.
<v Speaker 6>It's such a boy thing to say, such a boy
<v Speaker 6>thing to say.
<v Speaker 3>It is very sweet, though, I don't.
<v Speaker 5>You're in today.
<v Speaker 4>You don't like any of my nonsense today.
<v Speaker 3>But he almost died, Okay, he could have choked to death.
<v Speaker 4>Guys, I'm on the monkey now, but just.
<v Speaker 3>Saying so silly. But yeah, they do want your little
<v Speaker 3>baby monkey.
<v Speaker 1>So we vote online. You can you can vote online.
<v Speaker 1>I think you have to vote already available. So those
<v Speaker 1>ones I mentioned are the ones you have to choose from.
<v Speaker 3>I don't think you can. It's not write in ballot.
<v Speaker 4>Sorry, I'm just going to email. Their media team named
<v Speaker 4>the Monkey.
<v Speaker 3>The love that they're gonna love you.
<v Speaker 6>And then this story, Josh, you were actually at the
<v Speaker 6>Morgan Walling concert when he flipped a piano right there
<v Speaker 6>on stage.
<v Speaker 2>I saw the Instagram videos. I think you and I
<v Speaker 2>Katie were probably the only people not at.
<v Speaker 6>The Yeah, I know I got an invite, but I
<v Speaker 6>was like, I'm making mango salsa.
<v Speaker 3>I'm kind of doing a thing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I got an invite too. I was like, hell, no,
<v Speaker 2>I'm not trying to find parking downtown.
<v Speaker 6>To my high that you go to hell, That's what
<v Speaker 6>it was, because I knew everyone in town was already there.
<v Speaker 3>So my invite five minutes before the show started. Not happy.
<v Speaker 2>I can get why. He said at the piano he
<v Speaker 2>was pissed because he had to find parking downtown before
<v Speaker 2>his concert.
<v Speaker 3>He couldn't find parking.
<v Speaker 4>Flipped that piano too.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, but the reason, yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Swang it out.
<v Speaker 6>Hell of a concert though, from what I under was
<v Speaker 6>so like, you know, I heard that he had to
<v Speaker 6>go a cappella because of that piano incident, and it
<v Speaker 6>wasn't working.
<v Speaker 7>He wasn't doing it out of anger. It was of
<v Speaker 7>funny that people laughed. The piano did not laugh. That
<v Speaker 7>was the piano was broken. But I heard it work
<v Speaker 7>the next night, so it's all good.
<v Speaker 5>He was good. He sounded great a capella.
<v Speaker 6>So people at that concert though, like my whole time.
<v Speaker 6>Rob was there too, everybody was there.
<v Speaker 4>You sit on Big Rob's lap he.
<v Speaker 5>Put me on his knee like Santa.
<v Speaker 7>I also found out my sister was in the same
<v Speaker 7>exact section as I, and I didn't even know that.
<v Speaker 4>Everybody everybody it was.
<v Speaker 5>A blast man.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, all right, there you go your mind.
<v Speaker 2>My wife just said, you got an invite to the Morgan. No,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't get an invite to the concert.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, I would have went downtown for that one.
<v Speaker 2>Come on, No, I didn't get an invite, and uh, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's why we didn't go.
<v Speaker 3>You got an invite, I did.
<v Speaker 4>Who invited you.
<v Speaker 3>Big rob?
<v Speaker 5>He did.
<v Speaker 4>He didn't invite me.
<v Speaker 3>He did it.
<v Speaker 9>He knew you were gonna say. Hell, yeah, you're right.
<v Speaker 9>I can't be mad. He knows you When I saw
<v Speaker 9>that phone ring, and I'd be like IgG you know.
<v Speaker 9>There you go, guys, there's your hype.
<v Speaker 4>This morning with jk J, Jeremy, Katie Josh Mixed one
<v Speaker 4>hundred
