<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katy and Josh makes one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>My wife this morning trying to look at the hamster
<v Speaker 2>in his cage and give him some lettuce and some
<v Speaker 2>little snacks. And she was trying to find him and
<v Speaker 2>she turned the flashlight on on her phone and he
<v Speaker 2>was blinded by the light.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, oh, sorry, little buddy.
<v Speaker 4>He popped out and was like.
<v Speaker 5>This little monster, a little hamster face when they look
<v Speaker 5>at you right, like, what.
<v Speaker 4>You're blinding here, guys, it's trying to find him. He
<v Speaker 4>means the morning lettuce.
<v Speaker 3>It's little whiskers.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, how cute body saw answer Jesus for a second.
<v Speaker 2>Morning lettuce, which is a lot of like some of
<v Speaker 2>our listeners, they get up and have a little a
<v Speaker 2>little bit of that hippie lettuce. Hey, good morning, it's Jeremy,
<v Speaker 2>Katy Josh here at Denver's Mix one hundred.
<v Speaker 4>Did you sit for ten minutes this morning?
<v Speaker 3>Katie? I did.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, it's a new thing. Well it's been going on
<v Speaker 5>for centuries, but it's new to me. They say, when
<v Speaker 5>you wake up in the morning, the first thing you
<v Speaker 5>should do is go sit in silence for ten minutes,
<v Speaker 5>like I'm.
<v Speaker 3>Talking, before you brush your teeth.
<v Speaker 5>Before you make your you go to a place that's
<v Speaker 5>completely silent and you just sit with your thoughts and
<v Speaker 5>it helps you control the day instead of.
<v Speaker 3>The day controlling you. And it really did it.
<v Speaker 5>I've done it for the past couple of days now
<v Speaker 5>and it's helped me really just feel like I have
<v Speaker 5>a little bit more control over the day.
<v Speaker 4>If you there anything you say like like a h
<v Speaker 4>you just.
<v Speaker 5>Kind of sit and like process what you're going to
<v Speaker 5>go through in that day. Like I thought about the
<v Speaker 5>show and you know, things I was going to talk about,
<v Speaker 5>and then I thought, you know, after the show, going
<v Speaker 5>on my run and you know, making sure I did
<v Speaker 5>all the things I needed to do today, Like I
<v Speaker 5>genuinely thought about each one and how I was going
<v Speaker 5>to proceed with them. I did, and it really made
<v Speaker 5>me feel I'm a little bit more grown up, a
<v Speaker 5>little bit more awake, and I've liked it the last
<v Speaker 5>couple of days, so I'm gonna keep going with it.
<v Speaker 2>Why do I feel like you were sitting there in silence, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and about four minutes in you were.
<v Speaker 3>Like I knew, I just knew you were going to
<v Speaker 3>do that.
<v Speaker 4>Well to start my day is the natural part of
<v Speaker 4>waking up.
<v Speaker 5>Jeremy, Okay, you get enough the day before.
<v Speaker 3>That's exactly how it's supposed to do.
<v Speaker 4>Make a leg a high magahi.
<v Speaker 2>Oh hey, do you guys know it's June first?
<v Speaker 4>Yes, yes, already.
<v Speaker 6>Man.
<v Speaker 2>So I was perusing some stuff on the ig and
<v Speaker 2>I saw some sort of chocolate twinkie or something katie.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, I had never, ever, ever, had ever had a
<v Speaker 5>chocolate covered twinkie. And I was down at the outlets
<v Speaker 5>and Castle Rock over the weekend and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
<v Speaker 3>You know, they've got a little shop there down in
<v Speaker 3>the outlet.
<v Speaker 2>I know that I sound stock in Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
<v Speaker 4>Smart twenty shares. Yeah, it hasn't done anything really, yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Oh I love that place.
<v Speaker 5>And the thing is is they have, you know, their
<v Speaker 5>little showcase, if you will. So they have all of
<v Speaker 5>the things that you get to pay from and just
<v Speaker 5>so overwhelming. And I wanted like a nut caramel cluster.
<v Speaker 5>That's what I went in there exactly. But when I
<v Speaker 5>went in, they had all of those fun things that
<v Speaker 5>they cover in chocolate. They had the rice Crispy treat,
<v Speaker 5>they had different candy bars and whatnot. They had the
<v Speaker 5>chocolate covered twinkie. I had never had a chocolate covered twinkie.
<v Speaker 4>And like the chocolate dial back, yes, and.
<v Speaker 3>So I just was like, I have to get it.
<v Speaker 3>I have to try it.
<v Speaker 5>At least so I hate it, made a whole little
<v Speaker 5>TikTok video about it and whatnot.
<v Speaker 3>But it was tasty.
<v Speaker 5>I have to say that, you know, Rocky Mountain, the
<v Speaker 5>chocolate factory, their actual chocolate is just so smooth and
<v Speaker 5>delicious and it has such a distinct taste.
<v Speaker 3>It kind of overpowered the twins, I would.
<v Speaker 4>Think, so, you know, I didn't really taste lost a whole.
<v Speaker 3>Lot, but it was so good.
<v Speaker 5>It was just like a very thick piece of just
<v Speaker 5>milk chocolate that I ate.
<v Speaker 4>It looked like just a block of chocolate on a stick, it.
<v Speaker 5>Did, and it was so good, like so worth it.
<v Speaker 5>I was only able to eat half of it. I know, shocking, but.
<v Speaker 3>I will eat that. Yeah, you know I will, you
<v Speaker 3>know I will. But it was worth it. It was
<v Speaker 3>worth trying it for sure.
<v Speaker 2>I had the impulse by this weekend at Sam's when
<v Speaker 2>I went in and they had, uh, this was new.
<v Speaker 2>I'd never seen these before. But the big container of
<v Speaker 2>the what was it? It was cookie dough and chocolate
<v Speaker 2>chip brownies. And then there was like a swirl to it,
<v Speaker 2>and there was like, you know, you get like forty
<v Speaker 2>of them in a container.
<v Speaker 4>And I got it you did? It was Oh my god,
<v Speaker 4>it's so good.
<v Speaker 3>Where is it?
<v Speaker 4>Well, it's at the house.
<v Speaker 2>You know what's funny is I keep clipping the lid
<v Speaker 2>open and I'll just walk by and I'll grab a square.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, and I'll just take a bite out of it
<v Speaker 4>and put it back in there.
<v Speaker 2>And then I noticed, like if I go back, there's
<v Speaker 2>like another bite out of it, And I'm like, Nick Nat,
<v Speaker 2>why are you doing that to me?
<v Speaker 3>I just following your lead, I think so.
<v Speaker 2>But I sent Katie like ten pictures this weekend of
<v Speaker 2>all the pastries and all the stuff at Sam's.
<v Speaker 3>No, I asked you to bring it in too.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well again, I take a bite out of each
<v Speaker 2>and every I don't think you're gonna want that all right.
<v Speaker 4>Time for sports?
<v Speaker 7>What do you got, Josh, Well, it's not the NFL
<v Speaker 7>season and the Nuggets and the Avalanche are out of
<v Speaker 7>the playoffs, So what do we get?
<v Speaker 4>We get Rockies news.
<v Speaker 7>The Rockies did one of the weirdest things Katie, yeay,
<v Speaker 7>the crowd goes mild. Yeah, No, the Rockies are one
<v Speaker 7>of the weirdest things. Where to end the month of May.
<v Speaker 7>They lose three straight to the Dodgers. But then they
<v Speaker 7>come back and they come back to Colorado and play
<v Speaker 7>the Giants. Now, the San Francoso Cisco Giants are not
<v Speaker 7>great this year, and the Rockies start off the series great.
<v Speaker 7>They win the first game eight to three, score eight runs.
<v Speaker 7>The next game, We're like, hey, we're going to the
<v Speaker 7>World Series. We scored sixteen runs in two games. What
<v Speaker 7>did they do yesterday? Lose nineteen to six. They got
<v Speaker 7>nineteen runs scored on The Giants just kept going around.
<v Speaker 7>It was like ring around the rosie. They just kept
<v Speaker 7>going around and a round and a round. So the
<v Speaker 7>Rockies rounded out May in a historic loss. Yeah, it
<v Speaker 7>was horrendous. It was awful. So the Rockies are starting
<v Speaker 7>June on a weird, weird note. We'll see how they
<v Speaker 7>end that month. But one thing that I wanted to
<v Speaker 7>talk about specifically was YELP just released one hundred of
<v Speaker 7>the greatest sports bars around the nation. Denver has three
<v Speaker 7>spots in the top one hundred and one spot in
<v Speaker 7>the top ten. I wanted to give a shout out
<v Speaker 7>to Esther's, Virginia Village. They came in at number eighty three.
<v Speaker 7>Ester's is a fantastic spot, Katie.
<v Speaker 3>Their carrot cake, Jeremy is out of this world.
<v Speaker 4>I want to take cary cake. Yes the sports stuff.
<v Speaker 4>Tell me more about this carry cake?
<v Speaker 8>I know.
<v Speaker 4>Have you had the Rony Rolls as well?
<v Speaker 3>My god, they have a pizza.
<v Speaker 5>It's called the Bliss Pizza and thinly sliced potatoes on it.
<v Speaker 2>And it is sliced potatoes on my carrot cake on
<v Speaker 2>top of a roll.
<v Speaker 4>WHOA Nachos also are to die for.
<v Speaker 3>At the top ten, the Fat.
<v Speaker 7>So Esters comes in eighty three Ester was amazing and
<v Speaker 7>then thirty five the Celtic on Market.
<v Speaker 4>The Celtic bar has been for forever. Celtic is fantastic.
<v Speaker 7>But I did want to give a little special shout
<v Speaker 7>out to the one that came in at number six
<v Speaker 7>in the nation. What number six in the nation for
<v Speaker 7>sports bars? The British Bulldog. Now this one is super old.
<v Speaker 7>It comes from a tavern that was here in eighteen
<v Speaker 7>eighty so it's one hundred and forty plus years old.
<v Speaker 7>And I've never been here, but it's like the number
<v Speaker 7>one spot in order to watch anything related to soccer
<v Speaker 7>here in Denver, including the Colorado Rapids or anything around
<v Speaker 7>the world. And all of their food is basically all
<v Speaker 7>British food, which I love it Way and Stout, Yes,
<v Speaker 7>Broadway and Stout right off A twenty eth.
<v Speaker 4>It's like a dinky, little old building. It looks so cool.
<v Speaker 4>I want to go here so bad.
<v Speaker 3>I think I was there one time.
<v Speaker 4>Solid.
<v Speaker 7>Everyone says their fish and chips are absolutely to die for.
<v Speaker 7>They also have to the old one twenty one esb
<v Speaker 7>on tap, which is a majorly old beer that's served
<v Speaker 7>in Britain and everybody raves about it.
<v Speaker 4>I've never had it. Yeah, but you got a pita
<v Speaker 4>dip a pita to die for.
<v Speaker 3>They have smashed peas though.
<v Speaker 9>Oh.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you're right. I don't know a dumb question.
<v Speaker 3>It's not a dumb question.
<v Speaker 7>All I know is the yelpers said this deserves to
<v Speaker 7>be a top six spot in the nation.
<v Speaker 4>The food is at ten every single time. The smash
<v Speaker 4>piece a smash piece are great. Why are people? People
<v Speaker 4>are going there for the smashed piece, That's why they're
<v Speaker 4>going Katie smash. Yeah, of course it's the old school bar, Like,
<v Speaker 4>that's what I want to go. I'm leaving.
<v Speaker 5>We can all go for different reasons.
<v Speaker 4>I'm gonna sit there at the bar and smash my
<v Speaker 4>own piece.
<v Speaker 3>You do that at every bar.
<v Speaker 4>While we were just playing a little dua lipa and
<v Speaker 4>I guess she got married to actor.
<v Speaker 2>Callum Turner on Sunday during an intimate ceremony at some
<v Speaker 2>sort of town hall in London. Photos showed the newlywed
<v Speaker 2>smiling as they left the venue while friends and families confetti.
<v Speaker 2>We Turner okay, uh, anyway, they look happy.
<v Speaker 4>I'm excited for them. Millions of young men are sad.
<v Speaker 4>I feel like we said the hots for her for sure.
<v Speaker 5>I think women look up to her too, though, because
<v Speaker 5>she's so smart, Like she's very very vocal about how
<v Speaker 5>she loves to read. She has a book club, she
<v Speaker 5>knows a bunch of different languages, Like she's super smart.
<v Speaker 3>And I like that about her a lot. So good
<v Speaker 3>for do a leap big.
<v Speaker 4>Hooray, all right, toy story five I guess is coming
<v Speaker 4>out and they're having a little what are they calling
<v Speaker 4>their sparking like excitement by maybe including Taylor Swift somehow
<v Speaker 4>in Toiler's Toiler Story, I.
<v Speaker 3>As well just name it that Taylor.
<v Speaker 4>Story Toylor story.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, they have a billboard out with the initials t
<v Speaker 2>S in Andy's bedroom. It's got the wallpaper there and
<v Speaker 2>the little clouds. Now all this swifties are speculating that
<v Speaker 2>Taylor Swift is the TS and it's a toy story.
<v Speaker 4>I just, yeah, I get it.
<v Speaker 3>I get it.
<v Speaker 5>You know, good on Pixar for taking something and running
<v Speaker 5>with it. Of course, they're going to get a lot
<v Speaker 5>of attention by even alluding to the fact that it's Taylor,
<v Speaker 5>So even if she's not going to show up in
<v Speaker 5>the movie, I think it's smarter them to capitalize on it.
<v Speaker 4>And they're making them more of this story here.
<v Speaker 2>It says they feel rumors by posting a video of
<v Speaker 2>the cowgirl Jesse dancing on the billboard with the caption
<v Speaker 2>she's making those moves up as she goes quoting lyrics
<v Speaker 2>from Taylor Swift's twenty fourteen hit.
<v Speaker 4>Shake It Off.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, so that's why people are thinking this Swift
<v Speaker 2>he might be evolved.
<v Speaker 4>And why not.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, what a great little fit you know, it
<v Speaker 2>would be for all the kids and everybody who So
<v Speaker 2>there's that. And then finally, I want to play you
<v Speaker 2>some audio of this guy. It's a social media influencer,
<v Speaker 2>Alan Farrell. It looks like he's in hot water right
<v Speaker 2>now after a stunt or he tried to eat a
<v Speaker 2>ten piece chicken nugget while on a roller coaster went viral.
<v Speaker 2>He snuck the nuggets onto the roller coaster by putting
<v Speaker 2>them in his underpants. Then he had a friend film
<v Speaker 2>him while he ate them on the ride. He even
<v Speaker 2>dunked them in sauce, which was a mess.
<v Speaker 4>Natural.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, there is honey mustard everywhere.
<v Speaker 2>They kicked him out and banned him for life. Here's
<v Speaker 2>him talking about it.
<v Speaker 4>It was definitely really hard.
<v Speaker 6>So I see why Cedar Point reacted the way they did,
<v Speaker 6>because I can see why there's safety measures and everything
<v Speaker 6>like that. It was hard. I had to try not
<v Speaker 6>to choke almost the entire ride. I had no idea
<v Speaker 6>Cedar Point even seen the video until I got a
<v Speaker 6>message saying I've been banned for life from Cedar Point,
<v Speaker 6>which really hurts because I've been going there since I
<v Speaker 6>was a little kid. I'm a season pass holder. I'm
<v Speaker 6>definitely sad about how it ended up. But I understand
<v Speaker 6>why they went the.
<v Speaker 4>Way they did.
<v Speaker 6>They don't want a bunch of other people trying to
<v Speaker 6>pull off challenges like I do.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, and they don't want anybody dying on the roller coaster.
<v Speaker 3>What not an idiot?
<v Speaker 4>Okay, he looks like someone who roller coaster. It's not cute,
<v Speaker 4>are you kidding?
<v Speaker 3>Like he could have died?
<v Speaker 4>He like, what a way to go. Huh.
<v Speaker 3>The fact that kids.
<v Speaker 5>Will do things like this just for clicks and views
<v Speaker 5>and likes and to be famous, like he could have died.
<v Speaker 5>What an idiot? And I hope he learned his lesson.
<v Speaker 4>Wow, thanks mom, say that, Come on if you care.
<v Speaker 2>He managed to eat seven of the ten nuggets during
<v Speaker 2>the ride, so he got seven down guys.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, Oh, it's fine.
<v Speaker 3>Fine.
<v Speaker 2>The funniest part is this guy had chicken nuggets in
<v Speaker 2>his underwear and then he was like, Hey, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>pull these chicken nuggets out of my underwear and put
<v Speaker 2>them in my mouth on a roller coaster.
<v Speaker 3>Idiot? What an idiot?
<v Speaker 4>Where did he keep the He.
<v Speaker 5>Got grounded for the rest of the summer, Like, I
<v Speaker 5>hope he gotten so much?
<v Speaker 3>Try mom, seriously.
<v Speaker 5>Okay, mom, Okay, when your kid does this, we can
<v Speaker 5>talk about it again because it's dumb.
<v Speaker 4>This kid would get all ten down.
<v Speaker 5>Come on, it's so stupid. But anyway, let's talk about
<v Speaker 5>something that's gonna left your.
<v Speaker 4>Underpants.
<v Speaker 5>Let's talk about something that's gonna lift our mood.
<v Speaker 3>Because the Denver Zoo.
<v Speaker 5>Welcome to a little baby orang a dang last week and.
<v Speaker 3>It was born to a little fifteen year old Hesty.
<v Speaker 5>She had her first baby, and she has such an
<v Speaker 5>interesting story at the Denver Zoo. She was born at
<v Speaker 5>the Denver Zoo fifteen years ago and had kind of
<v Speaker 5>a hard start to her life, Like the zoo keepers
<v Speaker 5>had to make sure that she was fed right. She
<v Speaker 5>wasn't being acclimated with her mom in the right way,
<v Speaker 5>so they really had to make sure that she was
<v Speaker 5>able to have a good start at the zoo.
<v Speaker 3>So a lot of the people who worked with.
<v Speaker 5>Her when she was a baby are still working there
<v Speaker 5>now and helped her welcome her first baby.
<v Speaker 3>So it's such a heartwarming story story.
<v Speaker 5>No, and they want your help naming that little o
<v Speaker 5>ringdoing No, No, No. All the options right now are rem
<v Speaker 5>buoten Oka and Joe Martin.
<v Speaker 3>Some of the name you can vote on.
<v Speaker 4>I got the best name, okay, spank. I don't think
<v Speaker 4>they like the monkey.
<v Speaker 3>No, I don't think they like that.
<v Speaker 5>Again, that's stupid, because because I know why you're doing that.
<v Speaker 3>J Martin, is what I would go with.
<v Speaker 4>Spank.
<v Speaker 5>No, No, we can't be spank. It's such a boy
<v Speaker 5>thing to say, such.
<v Speaker 3>A boy thing to say.
<v Speaker 5>It is very sweet, though, I don't you're in.
<v Speaker 4>You don't like any of my nonsense today.
<v Speaker 10>But he almost died, Okay, he could have choked to death.
<v Speaker 4>Guys, I'm on the monkey now, but just saying so silly.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, they do want your little baby monkey. So
<v Speaker 3>we vote online. You can you can vote online.
<v Speaker 5>I think you have to vote already available, So those
<v Speaker 5>ones I mentioned are the ones you have to choose from.
<v Speaker 3>I don't think you can not write in ballot.
<v Speaker 4>Sorry, I'm just going.
<v Speaker 10>To the media team named the monkey the love that
<v Speaker 10>they're gonna love you.
<v Speaker 5>And then this story, Josh, you were actually at the
<v Speaker 5>Morgan Walling concert when he flipped a piano right there
<v Speaker 5>on stage.
<v Speaker 4>I saw the Instagram videos. I think you and I
<v Speaker 4>Katie were probably the only people not.
<v Speaker 5>At the y I know I got an invite, but
<v Speaker 5>I was like, I'm making mango salsa.
<v Speaker 3>I'm kind of doing a thing.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I got an invite too.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, hell no, I'm not trying to find
<v Speaker 2>parking downtown High That's.
<v Speaker 3>Got to hell.
<v Speaker 5>That's what it was, because I knew everyone in town
<v Speaker 5>was already there.
<v Speaker 3>So my invite five minutes before the show started. Not happy.
<v Speaker 4>I can get why he sat at the piano.
<v Speaker 2>He was pissed because he had to find parking downtown
<v Speaker 2>before his concert.
<v Speaker 3>He couldn't find parking.
<v Speaker 4>They flipped that piano too.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, but.
<v Speaker 4>Reason yeah, sang it out.
<v Speaker 5>Hell of a concert though, from what I was so, like,
<v Speaker 5>you know, I heard that he had to go a
<v Speaker 5>cappella because.
<v Speaker 3>Of that piano incident, and it wasn't working.
<v Speaker 7>He wasn't doing it out of anger. It was kind
<v Speaker 7>of funny that people laughed. The piano did not laugh.
<v Speaker 7>That was the piano was broken. But I heard it
<v Speaker 7>work the next night, so it's all good.
<v Speaker 4>It was good. He sounded a great acapella.
<v Speaker 5>So people at that concert though, like my whole time.
<v Speaker 3>Rob was there too, everybody was there.
<v Speaker 4>Did you sit on Big Rob's lap? He put me
<v Speaker 4>on his knee bounce like Santa.
<v Speaker 7>I also found out my sister was in the same
<v Speaker 7>exact section as I, and I didn't even know that.
<v Speaker 4>Up everybody, everybody. It was a blast man.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, all right, there you go your mind.
<v Speaker 2>My wife just said you got an invite to the Morgan. No,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't get an invite.
<v Speaker 7>To the.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, I would have went downtown for that one.
<v Speaker 2>Come on, No, I didn't get an invite, and uh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's why we didn't go.
<v Speaker 4>You got an invite, I did you who invited you.
<v Speaker 3>Big rob? He did?
<v Speaker 4>He didn't invite me.
<v Speaker 3>He did it.
<v Speaker 4>He knew you were gonna say. Yeah, you're right. I
<v Speaker 4>can't be mad.
<v Speaker 2>You knows you if I saw that phone ring and
<v Speaker 2>I'd be like, there you go, guys, there's your hype
<v Speaker 2>this morning with.
<v Speaker 4>JKJ, Jeremy, Katie, Josh Mixed one.
<v Speaker 1>Hundred, Jeremy, Katy and Josh Mix one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>I will tell you right now you do not ever
<v Speaker 2>make fun of Katie's editing on her social media videos. Man,
<v Speaker 2>that was a stink eye of all stink euys.
<v Speaker 4>You just gave me good war. Make sure you follow us.
<v Speaker 2>On Instagram and Facebook Jeremy Katy Josh on both of
<v Speaker 2>those and you can see Katie's horrendous editing skills.
<v Speaker 4>And she did it on the fly.
<v Speaker 3>You know what, it's fine.
<v Speaker 4>I think it's great and I appreciate you doing that.
<v Speaker 4>You know what, I don't have to.
<v Speaker 5>People just get mad because that's right, you do something
<v Speaker 5>that they wish they could.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's the thing, that's the that's the anger.
<v Speaker 4>Wish I could do that.
<v Speaker 2>Like you know you just made did you have your
<v Speaker 2>eyes open like when you were just because you did it.
<v Speaker 4>I just it turned out great.
<v Speaker 2>We love our cutesy videos, So follow us on the
<v Speaker 2>instagrams Jeremy Katy Josh and then if you're over sixty,
<v Speaker 2>you can follow.
<v Speaker 4>Us on Facebook. Jeremy Katy Josh on Facebook. Speaking of
<v Speaker 4>social and.
<v Speaker 2>Messing around with your phone and stuff, you know what
<v Speaker 2>I did for about four hours yesterday, what I went.
<v Speaker 4>Through my wife's phone. I got us each new phones,
<v Speaker 4>new iPhones.
<v Speaker 2>And what I did is is I went on to
<v Speaker 2>the iCloud and I pulled off all the pictures and
<v Speaker 2>I just generally take them all off so they're not
<v Speaker 2>sitting in the cloud, and I put them on an
<v Speaker 2>actual hard drive just so they're mine. I'm not. Their
<v Speaker 2>photos just aren't out there their mind. They're on a
<v Speaker 2>hard drive. So I do that when we go and
<v Speaker 2>flip phones out, so I pull everything off and it
<v Speaker 2>makes everything transfer a lot faster. I sat there for
<v Speaker 2>four hours and I had to download and pull off
<v Speaker 2>fifteen thousand.
<v Speaker 4>Pictures and videos. Oh yeah, and I'm not even joking.
<v Speaker 2>She was at fifteen thousand stuff going back to twenty
<v Speaker 2>twenty three.
<v Speaker 3>Well, I'm sure there was like three versions of each picture.
<v Speaker 4>Well, we never talk about it.
<v Speaker 2>I had to shit my wife down and say, hey, listen,
<v Speaker 2>when we're at events, like it's cool just to go
<v Speaker 2>pow one picture.
<v Speaker 4>It's like, let's pretend like we have a film camera
<v Speaker 4>back in the day. Just take one. It'll be fine.
<v Speaker 2>Because I did go through and I mean multiples from
<v Speaker 2>like like you know, your birthday party or something.
<v Speaker 4>You're sitting there with the cake and it's.
<v Speaker 5>Like twenty pictures of the one same thing. Yes, everybody
<v Speaker 5>does it.
<v Speaker 4>Everybody does it. Do you want to?
<v Speaker 5>Everyone's a professional photographer and you need to pick the
<v Speaker 5>best picture of all the ones you took.
<v Speaker 3>Correct, Like that's our thought process. But you're right, one
<v Speaker 3>picture will suffice.
<v Speaker 2>One is fine usually, Okay, So we are in trying
<v Speaker 2>to be in that mode now because I completely dumped
<v Speaker 2>my phone too. I'm going to tell you how great
<v Speaker 2>it is to open up your photo album and have
<v Speaker 2>like no pictures in there and nothing. It's there's something
<v Speaker 2>about it that's incredibly freeing that you're not looking at
<v Speaker 2>fifteen thousand things and you're trying to sift through them.
<v Speaker 2>There's something really special about it. But we talked last night.
<v Speaker 2>We're like, we're gonna try to to you know, retro's
<v Speaker 2>big right now, Vintage is big right now. Let's pretend
<v Speaker 2>like we have twenty four shots or forty eight shots
<v Speaker 2>or whatever it used to be in the old cameras.
<v Speaker 2>You know, twenty four, I think, and just take one
<v Speaker 2>and be fine with it. Or if you do two
<v Speaker 2>or three, like immediately, like a few minutes later, go
<v Speaker 2>in and blow out the other two that you don't need,
<v Speaker 2>you know, and just keep one.
<v Speaker 3>Pick the best one, pick the best one the others.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, And I think that'll do a lot for your
<v Speaker 2>sanity and storage space, for God's sake. Her excuse was, though,
<v Speaker 2>she's like, I gotta take multiple pictures. She's like one
<v Speaker 2>because it's either you making faces yeah things which I do. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>And my daughter is so me like she's like or
<v Speaker 2>our daughter. She's like because she makes a face in
<v Speaker 2>every single picture.
<v Speaker 3>See yes, So that's what it is.
<v Speaker 4>I love it because she is so like me.
<v Speaker 2>We were trying to take pictures of her, her little
<v Speaker 2>continuation everything every picture was like.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, damn, I love that kid.
<v Speaker 2>All right over there, you gonna be okay, Yeah, she's yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 2>you can't talk. Katie was coughing up alonger. We thought
<v Speaker 2>we were gonna lose you for a second. But you
<v Speaker 2>hate that when you know you're going back on the
<v Speaker 2>air and all of a sudden you get like a
<v Speaker 2>tickle or you choke.
<v Speaker 4>That's our worst night mare, you guys.
<v Speaker 5>And then does anybody ever be like, this is it?
<v Speaker 4>We were hoping cross now you were breathing. It's fine.
<v Speaker 4>Growing backlash against having phones out at every concert, club,
<v Speaker 4>date night, dinner, A whole story about it. This morning,
<v Speaker 4>I've been perusing it. Uh.
<v Speaker 2>Phone free experiences are up about six hundred percent globally,
<v Speaker 2>with multip venues and live events leaning into the idea
<v Speaker 2>that the real flex right now is to go out
<v Speaker 2>and be able to either not have your phone or
<v Speaker 2>lock it up for at least two.
<v Speaker 4>Hours and just be in the moment.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And this caught my eye because this weekend Nick Knack
<v Speaker 2>and I had a little date night and we went
<v Speaker 2>out and saw poly Shore at the Comedy Works in Landmark.
<v Speaker 4>And this is the first time it's ever happened to me.
<v Speaker 2>But we went rolling up to hand them our tickets
<v Speaker 2>to get in, and they had the little pouches there
<v Speaker 2>for your phones.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, they take them at the comedy shows and they.
<v Speaker 4>Make you lock them up. And it was full panic
<v Speaker 4>mode for a minute. We're like, oh, what if our
<v Speaker 4>kids need to get ahold of us?
<v Speaker 2>You know what if there's something with grandma because she's
<v Speaker 2>watching them. And the guy's like, well, if it starts
<v Speaker 2>vibrating in the bag, come on out and we'll take
<v Speaker 2>it out for you. But they made us shove our
<v Speaker 2>phones in there and your smart watches.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, your watches too.
<v Speaker 5>I was wondering because I was like, well, your watch
<v Speaker 5>will tell you if you got a text you sho Okay.
<v Speaker 2>They make you get rid of your watch too, because
<v Speaker 2>I guess you can sit and record the show on
<v Speaker 2>your watch as well, which I get this too, because
<v Speaker 2>I mean, the comedy works and you've got a stand
<v Speaker 2>up comedian and they want to bring people in and
<v Speaker 2>they they don't want you posting everything on YouTube.
<v Speaker 3>Totally get it. Totally get it.
<v Speaker 2>And there was multiple times we were sitting there waiting
<v Speaker 2>for the show to start, we were talking to this
<v Speaker 2>couple next to us.
<v Speaker 4>Which side note, we're great people. We ordered shots with them,
<v Speaker 4>as a matter of fact, cinnamon toast crunch, good flavor,
<v Speaker 4>hort Shotta and fireball mixed together. Hell break else to
<v Speaker 4>the s.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, there's a few moments where like, hey, we
<v Speaker 2>need to look something up, Oh we can't, or oh
<v Speaker 2>we let's take a picture of this, Oh we can't. Yeah, like,
<v Speaker 2>how will we remember that all four of us took
<v Speaker 2>shots in this moment?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you just have to take a picture in your mind.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 4>But it was kind of nice just to have them
<v Speaker 4>locked up and you didn't have to worry about fiddling
<v Speaker 4>with your phone.
<v Speaker 5>I have to say, like, even something I did this weekend,
<v Speaker 5>I went on a hike with a friend and I've
<v Speaker 5>been on this hike a million times, but something about
<v Speaker 5>it made me just want to be in the moment.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't take any hikes of this the whole time
<v Speaker 3>we were together.
<v Speaker 5>And typically I'm out there, you know, in my hiking mentality,
<v Speaker 5>ready to make a video or something.
<v Speaker 3>But I really wanted to just enjoy the moment. So
<v Speaker 3>I'm with you, like sometime they're distracting, and uh it was.
<v Speaker 4>And I'm glad because the show with Paulie was just
<v Speaker 4>so dang good. It was so good. I left my
<v Speaker 4>butt off through the entire thing, the two comics beforehand
<v Speaker 4>to filthy, yeah, but fantastic. Paullie was a little dirty too.
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't really expecting that much, give me, but but yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't, but I kind of was.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, like that was his whole stick.
<v Speaker 5>Back in the day, like he was that you know,
<v Speaker 5>stoner surfer dude.
<v Speaker 2>Which I think I'm starting to realize. I think that's
<v Speaker 2>a lot it's an act.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, there's a lot of acting behind that. Oh
<v Speaker 4>I'm sure, I don't know, you guys.
<v Speaker 2>It was just so good and there was moments where
<v Speaker 2>he like forgot what he was saying, and then he'd
<v Speaker 2>mess with people in the front row, and then he'd
<v Speaker 2>take his mic and like rub it on their head.
<v Speaker 4>And stuff, and it was just stupid little things like that.
<v Speaker 4>You just you're in the moment, you're just cracking up.
<v Speaker 4>But it was really, really good.
<v Speaker 2>If he ever comes back to town, highly recommend going
<v Speaker 2>to see him at the Comedy Works.
<v Speaker 4>It was just phenomenal.
<v Speaker 2>Now, I will tell you. We got there a little early.
<v Speaker 2>We went down to the Landmark location. We're like, let's
<v Speaker 2>just grab dinner while we're down there. And so I
<v Speaker 2>hadn't been down there in a long time, and so
<v Speaker 2>I didn't really know much about the restaurants down there.
<v Speaker 4>But right across the way is a little it's like
<v Speaker 4>an Asian fusion. I guess they called it's a Jing.
<v Speaker 4>Have you ever been to je?
<v Speaker 3>I've heard of Jing?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, it was really good. So you walk in
<v Speaker 2>the front door there, and they got two sides to
<v Speaker 2>the jing.
<v Speaker 4>You got your restaurant's side on the left and then
<v Speaker 4>you got the lounge on the right. Oh, it's date night.
<v Speaker 4>And she's like.
<v Speaker 2>You want to take a peek at the lounge and
<v Speaker 2>see if you like it. I was like, hell's yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I want to take a peek at the lounge. So
<v Speaker 2>I pop my head in and it's like dark, dark walls,
<v Speaker 2>dark ceiling, dark furniture, little candles going.
<v Speaker 4>You're like in a dark club.
<v Speaker 2>You know, it's very romantic, beautiful bar, little subtle lighting
<v Speaker 2>here and there.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, we want the lounge.
<v Speaker 2>So we go over to the lounge and sit down
<v Speaker 2>for date night with my beautiful wife. As we sit down,
<v Speaker 2>start looking around, Josh, do not take your girlfriend to Jing.
<v Speaker 2>Why every waitress in the lounge side is approximately twenty
<v Speaker 2>two years old in the tightest and shortest black dresses ever.
<v Speaker 4>He jery. I chose poorly. I should have chose the
<v Speaker 4>restaurant side. You got it, that's when you go. It
<v Speaker 4>was dark the lounge side, and they were all blending
<v Speaker 4>when I peeked my head in in those tiny black dresses.
<v Speaker 4>We had dinner there for the next hour, and I
<v Speaker 4>was fighting it.
<v Speaker 3>Up here chair.
<v Speaker 4>I have never made so much eye contact with my
<v Speaker 4>wife ever, but my peripheral vision was on. Dudey oh no,
<v Speaker 4>its right, especially when they drop off food at the
<v Speaker 4>table next to you and they're bending over to drop
<v Speaker 4>off the food. Eye contact.
<v Speaker 3>Up here too.
<v Speaker 4>You know how many ceiling tiles there are on the.
<v Speaker 3>Ceiling up here.
<v Speaker 4>No, I know what color my wife's eyes are. I
<v Speaker 4>know every hair was you know in place? Yeah yeah,
<v Speaker 4>don't take your girlfriend to Jing Josh, and don't go
<v Speaker 4>on the lounge.
<v Speaker 2>We are in this morning after a fun weekend at
<v Speaker 2>the Denver Fan x Spo. We went home and washed
<v Speaker 2>all the nerd off and we are here ready.
<v Speaker 4>To have some fun this week. What a great experience
<v Speaker 4>that was.
<v Speaker 3>That was so much fun.
<v Speaker 4>We love the fan expo. Such killer people watching.
<v Speaker 5>The amount of work that people put into their costumes
<v Speaker 5>for that, like that has to take them all year
<v Speaker 5>to plan.
<v Speaker 4>I mean some of them elaborate, right what I just.
<v Speaker 3>Have to say, huge fan of the furries.
<v Speaker 5>I know they get a hard time, they get a
<v Speaker 5>bad rap sometimes, but I just wanted to pet them.
<v Speaker 3>So I was in love with the furries.
<v Speaker 5>I was like, you guys really go all out, like
<v Speaker 5>I love your tails, your hair looks great.
<v Speaker 3>Nice shiny coat. So hot though.
<v Speaker 5>That's the thing is, it was a little warm in
<v Speaker 5>that convention center at times, and I just can't imagine
<v Speaker 5>some of the costumes how warm it was underneath them.
<v Speaker 4>I saw a lot of sweating, a lot of smells.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't want to say, but that's everywhere.
<v Speaker 4>Was a door event that happened.
<v Speaker 5>Difference, Yeah, it just happens.
<v Speaker 4>Make wetty costumes and the fudge table.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, but a fun time. Nonetheless, like we had a blast.
<v Speaker 4>I mean that's the nerd stuff for me, is I mean,
<v Speaker 4>it's right up my own.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>But and even all just the celebrities that we saw,
<v Speaker 5>and we were like trying to sneak pictures and.
<v Speaker 2>They kept getting in my kitchen because I was trying
<v Speaker 2>to take pictures and we had press badges, okay, so
<v Speaker 2>I felt like I would be in the clear, and man,
<v Speaker 2>they still got in my face. No pictures, no pictures,
<v Speaker 2>And then I'd be like press, press badge, and a
<v Speaker 2>few of.
<v Speaker 4>Them were like, oh never mind, go ahead.
<v Speaker 2>And then these uh celebrities, they're like agents and stuff
<v Speaker 2>would come over and they're like, no pictures.
<v Speaker 3>No studio reps.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah the studio.
<v Speaker 2>I'm like press, press, press, and they're like, I don't care, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>no pictures are Ralph Maccio although I.
<v Speaker 4>Snuck a we have so many pictures.
<v Speaker 5>Matthew Lillard was there, skip already, al Rich was there, Bryce,
<v Speaker 5>Alice Howard, Oh my gosh, it was like David du Coveney,
<v Speaker 5>David do Coveny The X Files back in the day
<v Speaker 5>was like my favorite show.
<v Speaker 3>So to see him that.
<v Speaker 5>Clearly, even though we didn't really talk to him or anything,
<v Speaker 5>but just to be in their presence was kind of.
<v Speaker 4>Stars struck a little bit.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, complaint is the lack of he Man there was.
<v Speaker 2>I was expecting more he Man, especially with the movie
<v Speaker 2>coming out here at the end of the week, which
<v Speaker 2>side note I'm pierced about because I.
<v Speaker 4>Have family coming into town and you can't even.
<v Speaker 3>I've been planning to go see he.
<v Speaker 2>Man for a year on opening weekend and I've got
<v Speaker 2>family in town, jam packed from Friday morning until we
<v Speaker 2>get back to work on Monday, I will have zero
<v Speaker 2>time to go see he Man this weekend.
<v Speaker 4>I hope they appreciate.
<v Speaker 5>The sacrifice you made there, because you and I talked
<v Speaker 5>about that and I was like, you can't just like
<v Speaker 5>sneak away for three hours and go do your no no,
<v Speaker 5>And you said absolutely.
<v Speaker 4>Cause the family coming in town. Nicole is like, please
<v Speaker 4>don't leave me.
<v Speaker 2>So so you're doing something, yes, So now I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>have to avoid spoilers and stuff all weekend.
<v Speaker 4>Law it's gonna be hard and it's gonna be horrible.
<v Speaker 2>But anyway, we did find the he Man booth for
<v Speaker 2>the movie coming out, and I did press.
<v Speaker 4>I held up my press pass and.
<v Speaker 2>I did get behind the table there at the he
<v Speaker 2>Man booth and get some pictures, you know with the
<v Speaker 2>cardboard cutouts.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you had the biggest the regal cinema people.
<v Speaker 5>Oh yeah, it was awesomesh He was like a child like, yeah,
<v Speaker 5>my dear.
<v Speaker 3>He roll up to that thing. He said, take my picture.
<v Speaker 4>Like that, take my picture like that. I was holding
<v Speaker 4>the sword.
<v Speaker 3>There was three people taking pictures of him so he
<v Speaker 3>could get all the angles skeleton.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, yeah, there's pictures of that on our socials if
<v Speaker 4>you want to go. Check it out in my he
<v Speaker 4>Man t shirt.
<v Speaker 3>I know.
<v Speaker 4>It wasn't my happy place. And then they gave me
<v Speaker 4>free stuff.
<v Speaker 3>They did. They saw how happy you were about they were.
<v Speaker 3>They saw how happy you were. They gave me free
<v Speaker 3>stuff to give you. Yes, they did.
<v Speaker 4>This guy so happy. Were everybody bless his heart. There
<v Speaker 4>was a lot of blessed his heart, a lot of that.
<v Speaker 5>But they were also excited about your excitement because these
<v Speaker 5>were people who were there to promote the movie.
<v Speaker 3>So when they saw you coming, they were like, Oh,
<v Speaker 3>this is the guy.
<v Speaker 4>We got a middle aged man in the he Man
<v Speaker 4>t shirt coming in hot. Get your cameras out.
<v Speaker 3>Waiting for him, the whole time.
<v Speaker 4>Waiting for you, sir. Give this guy some free merch
<v Speaker 4>and get him the hell out of here. All right. Anyway,
<v Speaker 4>we had a heck of a weekend, So thanks to
<v Speaker 4>everyone down at the Denver Fan Expo, Jerry, Katy and
<v Speaker 4>Josh six one hundred and then we'll play this silly
<v Speaker 4>little game. I'll toss you a category and start a.
<v Speaker 2>Really annoying ten second timer and within those ten seconds,
<v Speaker 2>you gotta give me five things that have to do
<v Speaker 2>with that category. You think you can pull it off,
<v Speaker 2>Let's play three oh three, six nine one, sixteen forty nine.
<v Speaker 4>Always looking for the people who have never played before.
<v Speaker 4>We like talking to some new friends. Katie, Uh, give
<v Speaker 4>me some examples of ones that we've done in the past.
<v Speaker 5>Okay, because you are all over the place when it
<v Speaker 5>comes to the questions you ask, you say, quick, name
<v Speaker 5>five drinks that have caffeine, or five characters from the
<v Speaker 5>movie Cars Toe made. Also five characters from Star Wars.
<v Speaker 5>It was Will who won it on Friday with that question.
<v Speaker 5>So yeah, you're all over the place when it comes
<v Speaker 5>to the category's chair.
<v Speaker 4>I'm generally all over the place anyway with everything three
<v Speaker 4>zho three six nine, sixteen forty nine. Now we got
<v Speaker 4>a heck of a prize this week as well, we do.
<v Speaker 3>It's valued at three hundred dollars.

<v Speaker 5>with free slot plate, a dining voucher as well as
<v Speaker 5>bally swags.
<v Speaker 3>So gotta be twenty one to win it.
<v Speaker 5>But you're winning a heck of a prize when you
<v Speaker 5>win fast five this week.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, how about that?
<v Speaker 2>And especial shout out to Francesca as well, who works
<v Speaker 2>up there. She's a big fan of the show. So
<v Speaker 2>hi Francesca, thanks for the killer prize. We love you
<v Speaker 2>to pieces. I think we've got something else attached to
<v Speaker 2>it too, don't we sure do.

<v Speaker 4>I need five different golf club heads. Go oh but.
<v Speaker 9>Wait no, no, no, yeah, I have no Potter?
<v Speaker 4>Was it Potter? Your phone was? Now?
<v Speaker 2>I thought you called me a butthead No, but it
<v Speaker 2>was a putthead. Now that one, go live your life.
<v Speaker 2>It was nice to have you on the air.
<v Speaker 3>Thank you, my kiddos.

<v Speaker 11>in Aurora.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, what kind of stuff is there?
<v Speaker 9>They're like booths, food trucks, music.
<v Speaker 5>I love booths and food trucks, kind of like a
<v Speaker 5>farmer's market, but at night.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, okay, well that sounds fun.
<v Speaker 3>It does sound fun.
<v Speaker 4>Did you eat some of the food truck food?
<v Speaker 3>We did?
<v Speaker 9>We hadanadas I love.
<v Speaker 4>Did you buy any loot?
<v Speaker 11>No?
<v Speaker 12>I didn't nothing.
<v Speaker 2>All right, we went to Comic Con over this weekend
<v Speaker 2>or the fan expo. You're gonna talk about it here
<v Speaker 2>in a little bit. I uh, we got free loot.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah, I got hooked up?
<v Speaker 7>All right?
<v Speaker 4>You want to play fast five? Yes, it'd be funny.

<v Speaker 2>from back in the day.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, nice pull with laser lips. Your mama was a snowblower.
<v Speaker 3>That's funny.
<v Speaker 4>How do you remember these lines from the eighties?
<v Speaker 3>That's so good, Shelby, you have a super Dupe's Day.
<v Speaker 4>Thanks for calling.
<v Speaker 12>Thank you you too.
<v Speaker 4>Bye Sea Global College. Celia. Hi, all right, turned on
<v Speaker 4>your radio.
<v Speaker 9>Oh sorry about.
<v Speaker 4>That, geez rude, so good, super rude. Hi. Hey, what
<v Speaker 4>are you doing right now?
<v Speaker 8>I'm actually dropping off my son to his first day
<v Speaker 8>at his advanced learning schooling that's going to be for
<v Speaker 8>the next four weeks.
<v Speaker 4>Well, good luck. What's his name?
<v Speaker 11>Dominic?
<v Speaker 4>I dominate.
<v Speaker 5>You're telling me that your little guy is so smart
<v Speaker 5>he has to go to summer school.
<v Speaker 9>He actually volunteered to go to summer school.
<v Speaker 8>He wanted to do this because it puts him ahead
<v Speaker 8>in school.
<v Speaker 9>He loves school.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, exactly, Yeah, I got lucky.
<v Speaker 4>They don't have one of those dumb kids.
<v Speaker 2>Jare me all children with one of those dumb kids?
<v Speaker 4>But all the children is on his screen.
<v Speaker 2>Also, no, no, no, no playing roadblocks or whatever.
<v Speaker 3>But it's awesome that your guy is there though.
<v Speaker 4>Apologies all the parents out there with dumb kids.
<v Speaker 3>The children in their own.
<v Speaker 2>You bet.
<v Speaker 3>All right?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, let's get in the way back machine. I got
<v Speaker 2>a TV show. I need five characters from Are you ready.
<v Speaker 11>I'm gonna try?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, five characters from Married with Children? Go.
<v Speaker 9>Oh, there's Bud, I believe your name was Peggy.
<v Speaker 8>There was.
<v Speaker 4>Come on, m hmm, I forgot.
<v Speaker 9>I'm thinking like.
<v Speaker 8>Owl Mary Darcy, oh man, I miss so many kill
<v Speaker 8>that show too.
<v Speaker 9>I just haven't seen it in forever.
<v Speaker 3>It's a good show.
<v Speaker 4>I know it's a way back. That's a way back one.
<v Speaker 13>But dog buck, Yeah, yeah, you didn't do.
<v Speaker 4>Too bad though.
<v Speaker 3>You start talking to you.

<v Speaker 12>I sing, but I have an instrument. I'm going to
<v Speaker 12>start learning how to play.
<v Speaker 9>I just procrastinating.

<v Speaker 12>I saw the light. I been baptized by the fire,
<v Speaker 12>and you touched in the flame and your rise. I'm
<v Speaker 12>born to love again. I'm a brand new man.

<v Speaker 11>It's all good.
<v Speaker 4>You know, you know. I love you. Come on, you
<v Speaker 4>got a good country voice?
<v Speaker 3>You do, Gregory? I enjoyed that.
<v Speaker 5>Thank you for to Jeremy listen to him?
<v Speaker 4>All right, all right, you ready, cowboy?
<v Speaker 11>Yes sir, all right, and yes sir.
<v Speaker 2>In ten seconds, I need five the names of five
<v Speaker 2>different dinosaurs.
<v Speaker 12>Go Stegosaurus, t Rex, raptor trek Sarah Toopsosaurus.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, So do you know what happens when people win?
<v Speaker 2>What you're supposed to say?
<v Speaker 7>No?
<v Speaker 4>But I need you to sing it. I need you
<v Speaker 4>to sing. Jeremy play the Winny win sound.
<v Speaker 12>But sing it, Jeremy play the Winny win sound.
<v Speaker 14>Yeah, that was completely on key, Gregory, good job, that
<v Speaker 14>was real.
<v Speaker 3>That was real good that you just.
<v Speaker 4>Need to start singing jingles or something body you want
<v Speaker 4>to do.
<v Speaker 2>I need you to do something else for me. Are
<v Speaker 2>you ready what I want you to sing? Jeremy Katy
<v Speaker 2>josh On Mixed one hundred.
<v Speaker 12>Sing me that, Jeremy Katie josh On Mixed one hundred.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's amazing. We like you today. Good job.
<v Speaker 4>All right, dude, I'm gonna put you on hold. We'll
<v Speaker 4>come back and tell you about that prize and thanks
<v Speaker 4>for having some fun with us.
<v Speaker 12>Hey, is there is there any way you can send
<v Speaker 12>me the recording of this call?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah?
<v Speaker 4>We when you talk to Josh here in a second,
<v Speaker 4>he'll send.
<v Speaker 1>You all right.
<v Speaker 11>He sounds good.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Gregory.
<v Speaker 4>But I have a good day, buddy. Yeah, I love you. Well,
<v Speaker 4>you're an I asked. Oh that may be happy?
<v Speaker 2>All right, guys will play again tomorrow morning's seven thirty.
<v Speaker 2>Set those reminders in your phone so you never missed
<v Speaker 2>the opportunity to play and hear fast five here at
<v Speaker 2>Mikes one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katy and Josh Max one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>All right, so something uh, something horrible happened off the
<v Speaker 2>air here in the studio.
<v Speaker 3>Horrible for you because I'm right.
<v Speaker 4>Maybe you showed me a video.
<v Speaker 3>Listen. I know it's like you're like, that is not
<v Speaker 3>how you do that.
<v Speaker 4>That's wrong.
<v Speaker 3>It's not wrong, it's not wrong. It's so right.
<v Speaker 5>The funny thing is, I've been wrong in this so long,
<v Speaker 5>Like I've been wrong my whole life in how to
<v Speaker 5>do this, and I finally figured out how, and then
<v Speaker 5>you're telling me I'm wrong and it's totally not a okay,
<v Speaker 5>But I made mango salsa this weekend, right, and I
<v Speaker 5>was telling Jeremy that I finally know how to cut
<v Speaker 5>a mango because I've never properly cut a mango. Like
<v Speaker 5>it is a mess, Josh, like mango massacre everywhere, go suck.
<v Speaker 5>For any time I try and cut one, it's just
<v Speaker 5>a bunch of mess.
<v Speaker 4>It's like mango suck.
<v Speaker 3>They they're my favorite fruit.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, they're so delicious. But they're delicious, yeah, but they're
<v Speaker 4>hard to open.
<v Speaker 3>Exactly.
<v Speaker 4>You should just change the name of that fruit to suck.
<v Speaker 5>It is so hard to get them peeled and cut
<v Speaker 5>up and everything. But I was making mango sauce. I've
<v Speaker 5>done it the last couple of weekends with my friend Violet.
<v Speaker 5>Shut out to Violet and she showed me the easiest
<v Speaker 5>way to peel a mango, and that is with like
<v Speaker 5>a pery knife. Right, So you take the mango, you
<v Speaker 5>hold it in your left hand if you're right handed,
<v Speaker 5>and then you take that knife and you score it
<v Speaker 5>from top to bottom, and you do it multiple times
<v Speaker 5>so as to create almost.
<v Speaker 4>The leaves like it's like avocado.
<v Speaker 5>Exactly, and you're cutting it as again to create little
<v Speaker 5>leaves on it. And then you just pull down those
<v Speaker 5>leaves from top to bottom and it completely peels it
<v Speaker 5>for you. And then you're able to cut it around
<v Speaker 5>the pit and make it in slices or little squares
<v Speaker 5>as I needed for my mango salsa. But I was
<v Speaker 5>so proud of myself for being able to do this off.
<v Speaker 4>That's what I was thinking.
<v Speaker 2>You had like one of the sharpest knives on the planet,
<v Speaker 2>and your whole nest slain. It's got the little hook
<v Speaker 2>to it, and I mean that can just see it
<v Speaker 2>right going right across your wrist.
<v Speaker 3>It's a yellow mango.
<v Speaker 4>We're calling nine one one because you slit your wrists.
<v Speaker 5>The yellow part is the peel. It's not slippery mango.
<v Speaker 5>That's a yellow mango for my mango saltice?
<v Speaker 7>Is this the one where you can like peel it
<v Speaker 7>back and it's cubed like you put you know.
<v Speaker 4>See, that's the right way. That's what I thought. That's
<v Speaker 4>the right way. I'm not doing it.
<v Speaker 3>There's more than one way to cut up a mango.
<v Speaker 4>But I told you you're gonna piss me off.
<v Speaker 2>People are calling right now. The right ways you stand
<v Speaker 2>the man go up like it's just standing there, okay,
<v Speaker 2>little buddy. Yeah, And you slice down, straight down through
<v Speaker 2>it on the right side. You slice down left side,
<v Speaker 2>and you got the pit in the middle.
<v Speaker 4>That's all you get left. I know.
<v Speaker 3>But you're wasting so much.
<v Speaker 4>No, no, no, there's a there's a trick to that too.
<v Speaker 4>So then you hold it in your hand like you're
<v Speaker 4>cutting an avocado.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And you hold it and then you scour it
<v Speaker 2>with a rounded knife at the edge so you don't
<v Speaker 2>go through and slice your hand open.
<v Speaker 4>You got it. You have a rounded knife.
<v Speaker 2>But then you do you go four lines down and
<v Speaker 2>then you go four lines the other way, go horizontal,
<v Speaker 2>then vertical, and then you turn it inside out and
<v Speaker 2>it's like then it's like a flower with all the cube,
<v Speaker 2>and then you can.
<v Speaker 4>Eat it like I don't like it, and I don't
<v Speaker 4>like it.
<v Speaker 5>This way, you can slice it like you would again
<v Speaker 5>if you're chopping up an onion or a potato and
<v Speaker 5>you need it in.
<v Speaker 3>The little cubes, it's perfect.
<v Speaker 4>You're giving you little cubes the other way.
<v Speaker 3>Watch your big cubes. It's so much easier.
<v Speaker 4>And it's not. It's so much not slimy and sloppy too.
<v Speaker 3>No, no, no, this is like the way.
<v Speaker 5>This is the gangst away to make mangoes into salsa.
<v Speaker 3>I'm telling you this is the o G way. This
<v Speaker 3>is the way you do it. I'm telling you I
<v Speaker 3>will bring you in the mango salsa and your stupid difference.
<v Speaker 4>Because I guarantee you there's blood.
<v Speaker 3>No, no, there's not. I will show. I'm gonna show
<v Speaker 3>Josh the video.
<v Speaker 4>If nobody wants.
<v Speaker 2>To see you, nobody, I'm gonna tell you right now.
<v Speaker 2>I smiled, and it was very polite.
<v Speaker 3>Fast forward it. What do you mean?
<v Speaker 4>Please don't post that, Please don't show anybody else.
<v Speaker 5>I did it so I could show you I did
<v Speaker 5>it just so I could show nobody wants in the
<v Speaker 5>act of it.
<v Speaker 3>I knew you were going to come at me.
<v Speaker 5>I knew you were going to get my mango kitchen,
<v Speaker 5>and I was like, not today, Jeremy, not today.
<v Speaker 4>Somebody wrote in and said the proper way is just
<v Speaker 4>to buy it cut up and then you don't have
<v Speaker 4>to have Yes, Jeremy, I agree, but then you take
<v Speaker 4>the cubes out with a spoon.
<v Speaker 2>No no, I saved the spoon. I saved the utensil.
<v Speaker 2>One less dish to do, and you just pop it
<v Speaker 2>open and you can.
<v Speaker 5>You know what's funny is I will agree with Shelley
<v Speaker 5>who texted in and said, there are several ways to
<v Speaker 5>cut a mango. However, just get a mango slicer and
<v Speaker 5>it works fantastic.
<v Speaker 4>I will have see it on TV.
<v Speaker 5>I have a mango slicer and I've never been able
<v Speaker 5>to use it correctly.
<v Speaker 3>I couldn't figure it out.
<v Speaker 5>But after I was taught how to slice the mango properly,
<v Speaker 5>the mango slicer made so much more sense.
<v Speaker 3>So now I'm gonna go try it.
<v Speaker 5>I actually told my friend I was gonna bring the
<v Speaker 5>mango slicer over next time we make a salsa.
<v Speaker 4>That's an exciting Weekenday.
<v Speaker 3>No, we're gonna do this and we're gonna make tortillas.
<v Speaker 4>Next year, so surprising.
<v Speaker 3>Try to show you my tortilla video. I can't wait.
<v Speaker 4>You gotta find you a man immediately. This is what
<v Speaker 4>you're doing on your weekends. We need to get you
<v Speaker 4>some loving.
<v Speaker 3>What do you mean so I can make him tortillas.
<v Speaker 4>Mango?
<v Speaker 3>So I can cut him salsa.
<v Speaker 4>I'm pissed. Walk around.
<v Speaker 2>I'm reading our text line and we were fighting about mangoes,
<v Speaker 2>and Kathy wrote in and said, Jeremy, stop mango shaming.
<v Speaker 4>Which is the line of the day.
<v Speaker 2>And we're going into a topic about mom shaming. What
<v Speaker 2>are the freaking odds?
<v Speaker 3>Get ready?
<v Speaker 4>And then side note was that really mango shaming? Is
<v Speaker 4>that a thing?
<v Speaker 3>Now?
<v Speaker 4>Are we are supposed to go on to socials now
<v Speaker 4>and get mad? The funny radio guy in Denver was
<v Speaker 4>mango shaming.
<v Speaker 3>I felt, I did. I was listening to.
<v Speaker 4>The radio this morning and it's jerk on Mixed one hundreds.
<v Speaker 4>He was mango shaming the lady on the show for
<v Speaker 4>the way she was cutting her mangos.
<v Speaker 3>There's no wrong way to cut a mango.
<v Speaker 4>Deare I'm offended for her. Okay, he was shaming citrus.
<v Speaker 3>Back off my slices.
<v Speaker 4>I'm switching back over to Queasy and they love mangoes.
<v Speaker 4>That guy on the mixes is a jerk.
<v Speaker 5>You've been called out a couple of times today, called a.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah you are on one.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I kind of listen to that station anymore. Everybody
<v Speaker 4>on next doors.
<v Speaker 3>Calm down your mango, sir, lady Alex.
<v Speaker 2>All Right, So yes, from mango sha shaming to mom shaming.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, what do you go to say about that?
<v Speaker 5>That's the thing I think every parent in general can
<v Speaker 5>relate to. This can feel what I'm about to say
<v Speaker 5>mom specifically, though I don't know why it is that
<v Speaker 5>we just feel like we're never doing a good enough job,
<v Speaker 5>but that feeling hits almost daily for moms. And I
<v Speaker 5>was just thinking about a few specific instances where I
<v Speaker 5>really felt like I was not doing the mom thing right.
<v Speaker 5>And one it's funny because it's from someone that I
<v Speaker 5>still consider a really good friend. He and his then
<v Speaker 5>it was his fiance. We were all sitting at a restaurant, right,
<v Speaker 5>so we were all eating dinner and everything, and I
<v Speaker 5>don't know how the topic came up, but we started
<v Speaker 5>talking about social security numbers.
<v Speaker 4>Right and I conversation.
<v Speaker 5>I know, I don't know how it got to that,
<v Speaker 5>but we started talking about social security numbers and the
<v Speaker 5>ones that we knew, and I was like, well, obviously
<v Speaker 5>I only know my social security number, right, that's what
<v Speaker 5>everybody remembers their own. And the you know person if
<v Speaker 5>funny enough. Her name is Karen, she spells it with
<v Speaker 5>a C, and she's super sweet. I want to like,
<v Speaker 5>I just love her. But she looked at me and
<v Speaker 5>she was like, you don't know your baby? No, no
<v Speaker 5>social security number? And I was like that every mom
<v Speaker 5>knows their kids social security number.
<v Speaker 3>And I was like so.
<v Speaker 5>In the moment, like oh no, is this something I'm
<v Speaker 5>supposed to know? And I just completely missed this, like.
<v Speaker 4>I already memorized it, like while they were giving birth,
<v Speaker 4>they like gave me the number one like early.
<v Speaker 3>She's not a mom, right, so she.
<v Speaker 5>Or but wait she knew her mom's social Security number
<v Speaker 5>and her two nephews what? And I was just like
<v Speaker 5>so blown away by first of all, God, I.
<v Speaker 2>Would have given her crap, like hey, are you into
<v Speaker 2>identity theft or something No.
<v Speaker 5>I just was like really impressed with her memory skills,
<v Speaker 5>for one, because I barely remember my solid security number.
<v Speaker 5>But then I started like asking people like it became
<v Speaker 5>something in me that, like, I was so insecure about it.
<v Speaker 3>I wanted to find out if other moms knew their.
<v Speaker 5>Social Security number. And it was brought up a couple
<v Speaker 5>times after just like remember when Katie didn't know baby
<v Speaker 5>no no social security number, and I, like, you know,
<v Speaker 5>had done my research at that point, so I was like,
<v Speaker 5>I just want you to know I've asked this question
<v Speaker 5>to other moms.
<v Speaker 3>Nobody knows their kids.
<v Speaker 4>No, I don't. I don't think Nick knows our kids.
<v Speaker 5>You're right, No, from that moment, I've tried to remember
<v Speaker 5>they need at this point and I can't.
<v Speaker 4>You don't need to.
<v Speaker 5>It's just something in my mind that I cannot hold
<v Speaker 5>on too, and I have tried.
<v Speaker 3>But the good thing is I taught her to remember.
<v Speaker 5>Her own She knows her social Security number. I know
<v Speaker 5>my social Security number. But man, it is something that
<v Speaker 5>has just stuck with me.
<v Speaker 3>Really, you were mom shamed that.
<v Speaker 5>I was just kind of made to feel less than
<v Speaker 5>because of something I didn't do as a mom, and
<v Speaker 5>so it just like, you know, and I know that
<v Speaker 5>a lot of moms deal with this.
<v Speaker 3>Another time, when Zoe was super.
<v Speaker 5>Little, we were at a restaurant again and she was
<v Speaker 5>eating chicken fingers and she was less than one, so
<v Speaker 5>she was just a little baby, right, But she like
<v Speaker 5>to really just taste the ranch, like she would dip
<v Speaker 5>her chicken finger and ranch and then just suck on
<v Speaker 5>it because she just loved the ranch. And I knew
<v Speaker 5>that's fine, and I knew that's what she was doing.
<v Speaker 5>She was sitting right next to me, and I knew
<v Speaker 5>that's what she was doing. But there was another person
<v Speaker 5>on the other side of her, so terrified that she
<v Speaker 5>was gonna numb off a piece of that chicken and
<v Speaker 5>she was gonna choke on it.
<v Speaker 3>And I was just like, lady, I know what she's doing.
<v Speaker 3>She's numbing it. She's just gumming that thing down to
<v Speaker 3>the you know, the tendy. She's just sucking up. She's
<v Speaker 3>just sucking on the ranch.
<v Speaker 13>Go on, She's just sucking on the ranch. It's fine, Like,
<v Speaker 13>but she made me feel so bad. Well, what do
<v Speaker 13>you mean.
<v Speaker 4>Like she just loves the ranch, chicken freak, your mom?
<v Speaker 10>Fine, she just loves till what it's a big deal. No,
<v Speaker 10>but it happens a lot and just like yeah, laughing aside.
<v Speaker 3>I just feel like their.
<v Speaker 4>Moms have to she's eating issues like you do. No,
<v Speaker 4>what do you mean?
<v Speaker 1>No?
<v Speaker 3>I just.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna open up
<v Speaker 2>the phone lines if anybody wants to call, if any
<v Speaker 2>moms want to call him, yes, and uh talk about
<v Speaker 2>Katie's daughter sucking on.
<v Speaker 4>Ranch if that was a good idea about it.
<v Speaker 2>No, if you've ever been mom shamed, like, how were
<v Speaker 2>you mom shamed?
<v Speaker 4>What happened? You know, mom's just trying to do their
<v Speaker 4>best out there.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, give their kids a delicious chicken tendy meal exactly
<v Speaker 2>with a bottle of Hidden Valley with a straw.
<v Speaker 3>Nothing wrong with that.
<v Speaker 2>How were you mom shamed? Dig deep? Think about it.
<v Speaker 2>You know when you first started parenting? I know Nick
<v Speaker 2>Nack Scott's If I can't talk about him on the air, though.
<v Speaker 1>Why not?
<v Speaker 3>Come on?
<v Speaker 2>So what we do here and involves other family members?
<v Speaker 2>I can think of a couple of iam a couple
<v Speaker 2>that friends told her so. Anyway, phone lines are wide open.
<v Speaker 2>If you guys want to sound off about this or
<v Speaker 2>Katie's daughter's eating habits.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, happy Monday morning. Let's dive into mom shaming. It's
<v Speaker 4>mom shaming Monday with JKJ. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>We opened up the phone lines. If you're a mom
<v Speaker 2>and you want to sound off about somebody who was
<v Speaker 2>just a little bit too much of a busy body
<v Speaker 2>getting into the old business about how you're raising your kids,
<v Speaker 2>would love to talk to you. Three Zho three six'
<v Speaker 2>nine to, one sixteen forty.
<v Speaker 4>Nine no name wrote in and, SAID i missed a
<v Speaker 4>classroom volunteer. DAY i was.
<v Speaker 2>Working LATER i overheard a group of moms talking about
<v Speaker 2>how some parents let their careers take priority over their.
<v Speaker 2>Children and one of them looked directly at me when
<v Speaker 2>they said, it and she had finished by, saying, Oh, parker, moms.
<v Speaker 5>Moms and and just people in, general not even just
<v Speaker 5>a mom. Thing people just kind of get there. Sometimes
<v Speaker 5>but hold your head, high, Mom.
<v Speaker 4>Hez Here's. Tanisha, Hi, tanisha welcome to the.
<v Speaker 9>Show good, Morning good.
<v Speaker 4>Morning are you hip to the mom?
<v Speaker 9>Shaming i've been mom, shamed BUT i wanted to add
<v Speaker 9>a slight comment about the chicken bone. Thing so all
<v Speaker 9>my kids these chicken bones as, teeth the chicken wing,
<v Speaker 9>bones AND i used chicken. BONES i was as a
<v Speaker 9>kid as a, Teeter so we're all still. Here, Yeah,
<v Speaker 9>no there was absolutely nothing wrong with the bones and
<v Speaker 9>the ranch and.
<v Speaker 5>There was no chicken bones thoughis was just a chicken
<v Speaker 5>chicken tender that she would dip in the ranch and
<v Speaker 5>just kind of suck on bone.
<v Speaker 3>That, yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Now are you? Annoyed, no, No i'm a little disgusted.
<v Speaker 11>Even you, know they.
<v Speaker 9>Got to learn how to eat, food, eventually they.
<v Speaker 3>Do and you have to let them figure it, out,
<v Speaker 3>Right you can't feed them their.
<v Speaker 2>Whole make good, choices suck on a chicken tending jipped
<v Speaker 2>in ranch and make good choices, kids all, right because
<v Speaker 2>you've never done.
<v Speaker 9>It BUT i will SAY i. Did grandpa shame. MONTHS i,
<v Speaker 9>MEAN i guess he was a grandpa because he was.
<v Speaker 9>Learning but he gave my three months old, rice not
<v Speaker 9>baby cereal, rice actual, rice and he said he want,
<v Speaker 9>that he wanted him to learn how to. Eat, yeah
<v Speaker 9>that's a little young three months. Old, Yeah i'm, LIKE
<v Speaker 9>i saw him gumming. SOMETHING i was, like what's? One
<v Speaker 9>and it was? Rice, YEAH i, know onto my mom.
<v Speaker 9>Shame So i'm Native american And i'm big in our
<v Speaker 9>culture is we like to let our boys their hair
<v Speaker 9>grow out. Long, Yes so all the TIME i get
<v Speaker 9>you need to cut his hair he is a, boy
<v Speaker 9>OR i get, like just what AM i?
<v Speaker 3>Doing?
<v Speaker 9>Tom that's my mom shame THAT i get all the.
<v Speaker 4>Time would you just tell those people to shut? Up
<v Speaker 4>just shut?
<v Speaker 9>UP i WISH i could put it on the shirt
<v Speaker 9>because it's like nobody should have a say on How
<v Speaker 9>i'm raising my culture. Hair. Yeah, yeah so that's just
<v Speaker 9>what that's my little intake on the mom shaming and.
<v Speaker 5>To show you're right Because i'm Also chipwa AND i
<v Speaker 5>know how having long hair in our culture it's like
<v Speaker 5>part of our, life like it's part of our, identity
<v Speaker 5>and so cutting it.
<v Speaker 3>Is a really big.
<v Speaker 5>Deal it's not just you bring them into the barber
<v Speaker 5>and they get their hair. CUT i mean it's a you,
<v Speaker 5>know they have ceremonies for it and. Everything so, yeah
<v Speaker 5>that must have failed very very just like personal to,
<v Speaker 5>you like you have no idea why their hair is still?
<v Speaker 3>Long, yeah shut, Up, yeah it.
<v Speaker 8>Does it.
<v Speaker 9>Happens And i'm going to get, THIS i, know for
<v Speaker 9>the rest of his. Life and he's going to get it,
<v Speaker 9>too so he's probably gonna have to say you a
<v Speaker 9>million times growing. Up i'm a, Boy i'm a.
<v Speaker 8>Boy yeah.
<v Speaker 3>That was just.
<v Speaker 9>It but, yeah that's all.
<v Speaker 4>RIGHT i do want you to go out and get.
