<v Speaker 1>It was until my fourth month, I mean four thousand
<v Speaker 1>dollars and I was like, okay, let me make a plan.
<v Speaker 1>And then I think my fifth month, that's when I
<v Speaker 1>started making five figures and a hey.
<v Speaker 2>Babe, it's Asha Christina. This is Quality Queen Control.
<v Speaker 3>What is happening?
<v Speaker 2>Hello, Hello, everybody, Welcome back to Quality Queen Control. We
<v Speaker 2>have a special guest today, my girl Ayana Supreme. Now
<v Speaker 2>she is a extremely successful TikTok shop star creator. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>we're sitting at two point six million followers and counting
<v Speaker 2>at the moment.
<v Speaker 3>What the heck? Take me back?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, first of all, you're only how old. I'm twenty four,
<v Speaker 2>she's twenty four. Okay, like this, it's kind of crazy.
<v Speaker 2>Like I'm like, I feel like I give els be
<v Speaker 2>your mom. Okay, that's so dramatic. I feel like I'm yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I'm vig sus. Yeah. So, Iyana and I actually met
<v Speaker 2>because my girl Sylvia and her are like besties. So
<v Speaker 2>she introduced us and I was like, wait, we went
<v Speaker 2>to the Fenti masterclass and the girl you were sitting
<v Speaker 2>next to is my friend really Chrissie.
<v Speaker 3>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>So I was like, So I was like, wait, does
<v Speaker 2>mind you we Christy and I met at a TikTok
<v Speaker 2>shop event that I was invited to from my other
<v Speaker 2>friend who's a TikTok shop of hiliate as well.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, So then I was like, wait, does Christine know her?
<v Speaker 3>Because Christy and I.
<v Speaker 2>Like we only will see each other like at events
<v Speaker 2>or things like that, you know what I mean. And
<v Speaker 2>I was like, wait, is she sitting next to a
<v Speaker 2>girl that I follow on TikTok?
<v Speaker 3>Is that her?
<v Speaker 2>But then when they gave you the mic, I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>that's Iyana Sabrina. I was like, okay, I'm Heirian. So yes,
<v Speaker 2>that is literally how we met. And she is, first
<v Speaker 2>of all, I have to say, the most down to
<v Speaker 2>earth person ever. Take notes a lot of you content
<v Speaker 2>creators and influencers out there. It ain't tricking if you
<v Speaker 2>got it, I say, because you don't have If you
<v Speaker 2>truly have it like that, you don't have to walk around,
<v Speaker 2>nose up in the air, pompous all the things like,
<v Speaker 2>just be down to earth. And so for you to
<v Speaker 2>be this successful, this young, and it's you're so grounded
<v Speaker 2>is actually insane. Like I'm fascinated because I've never seen
<v Speaker 2>anything like it. So all right, take me back to
<v Speaker 2>the beginning. So how did you get involved in the
<v Speaker 2>TikTok shop world.
<v Speaker 1>So, actually, even before I even got into TikTok shop world,
<v Speaker 1>I was actually on YouTube. YouTube was my thing. I
<v Speaker 1>wanted to be a YouTuber. Oh I don't even know
<v Speaker 1>what a TikToker was. Yeah, on YouTube. I was blowing
<v Speaker 1>up on YouTube because I shaved my head board, Like
<v Speaker 1>I had got a million video of views from like
<v Speaker 1>shaving my head board. And literally all my friends were like,
<v Speaker 1>you need to be on TikTok and I'm like, uh,
<v Speaker 1>isn't that like old musically? They're like, girl, you will
<v Speaker 1>blow up on TikTok. Just go ahead on get on TikTok.
<v Speaker 1>And I think within my first year I had a
<v Speaker 1>million followers in my first year hopping on TikTok.
<v Speaker 3>Absolutely crazy.
<v Speaker 1>I did not expect that, But you know what it
<v Speaker 1>really was because I already knew like YouTube, I knew
<v Speaker 1>how to edit. At the time, I think twenty twenty,
<v Speaker 1>nobody was editing their videos.
<v Speaker 3>No one knew how to edit.
<v Speaker 1>Oh. So it's like I came on the platform, like
<v Speaker 1>had a whole production, the lights, the cameras, everything, but
<v Speaker 1>most people just had their phone in their bed, you know.
<v Speaker 3>So it was just like my.
<v Speaker 1>Videos are really like they were very high quality when
<v Speaker 1>I first came on, because.
<v Speaker 3>That's all I knew because of YouTube.
<v Speaker 1>So I was doing I think a lot of anonymous
<v Speaker 1>story times. I was known for doing a lot of
<v Speaker 1>story times. They're all on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. They've
<v Speaker 1>been reposted everywhere, like literally, if you were to look
<v Speaker 1>up Ayana, you'll see all these story times. But they
<v Speaker 1>weren't posted by me. They were posted by me on
<v Speaker 1>these other platforms. I didn't post them. Yeah, but I
<v Speaker 1>have like YouTube compilations, that's what it's called. I never
<v Speaker 1>thought in my life that I would become a compilation,
<v Speaker 1>Like there's compilations of me everywhere.
<v Speaker 3>I used to watch those YouTube compilations.
<v Speaker 1>What were those vines? Yeah, yr yeah, bndes, And never
<v Speaker 1>in my life I thought that I would be one.
<v Speaker 1>Oh And at first I thought I was a little
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was like a little weird.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, wait, why they're posting me on here?
<v Speaker 1>But then I was like, wait, they liked my video,
<v Speaker 1>Yeah they're reposting it. But yeah, that was happening for
<v Speaker 1>a while. I did a non mystory Times for I
<v Speaker 1>think two years.
<v Speaker 3>So wait, tell me what that means an a MYS
<v Speaker 3>story time. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So basically, my followers would submit their stories to me.
<v Speaker 1>It could be about an ex boyfriend or your family trauma,
<v Speaker 1>like crazy stuff, and I would tell their stories in
<v Speaker 1>first person while I would do my makeup.
<v Speaker 3>Why did I not know that was a thing. That
<v Speaker 3>was a thing. It was a It still is a
<v Speaker 3>thing people doing Reddit stories now.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, right, wait, so you basically if I were
<v Speaker 2>to just view it, I would think that's your story time.
<v Speaker 1>Well, all of my followers knew that they were not
<v Speaker 1>in the story times because I had so many stories
<v Speaker 1>I'm talking about I'm forty years old, I'm twelve.
<v Speaker 3>They know I'm not twelve. I'm reading them in first person.
<v Speaker 1>Oh and sometimes I would also do advice videos too,
<v Speaker 1>Like somebody would ask me for advice for their situation. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and I would ask the public because someone is looking
<v Speaker 1>for like a response back from people, like they're.
<v Speaker 3>Looking for validation without being known.
<v Speaker 1>Some people are like they want to tell their stories
<v Speaker 1>without people knowing who they are because they may be
<v Speaker 1>embarrassed about a couple things that have happened to them,
<v Speaker 1>but it made them like I feel like, finally someone knows.
<v Speaker 3>People know that this happened to me and my voice
<v Speaker 3>was heard. So yeah, that was that. Wow.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, So that was YouTube. That was your YouTube Anonymous
<v Speaker 2>story time.
<v Speaker 1>TikTok anonymous three times, but they were reposted onto YouTube.
<v Speaker 1>Oh everybody posted them on to YouTube. I didn't post
<v Speaker 1>them on to YouTube. Oh yeah, yep. Those videos have
<v Speaker 1>millions of views, but they were not, like I didn't
<v Speaker 1>post them up there.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, yes, I know it's I watch the compilations. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I actively watch compilations on YouTube of TikTokers. Oh my gosh. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>now that clicked in my head. I know exactly what
<v Speaker 2>you're what you're saying. So then how did you find
<v Speaker 2>out about TikTok shops?
<v Speaker 3>Okay?
<v Speaker 1>So I was getting a lot of emails sent to me,
<v Speaker 1>Like I was already doing collaborations, but I would get
<v Speaker 1>emails sent to me like hey, we'll send you this
<v Speaker 1>product and we'll give you like twenty percent commission.
<v Speaker 3>And I was like, I don't really know what this is.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't really understand it.
<v Speaker 1>I would say linked and I'm like, I still don't
<v Speaker 1>know what this is. I would see people post about, oh,
<v Speaker 1>I'm a twenty K from TikTok shop this, and my
<v Speaker 1>brain wasn't registering because I'm like, I just still don't
<v Speaker 1>know what that is.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, but I was.
<v Speaker 1>Apparently already in the TikTok shop for months, and I
<v Speaker 1>didn't know it was until I met Angie Roman. She's
<v Speaker 1>another really popular TikTok shop affiliate. I met her in La.
<v Speaker 1>I got flown out to go to this TikTok shop event.
<v Speaker 1>They brought me out there. Not like I said, I
<v Speaker 1>knew nothing really about TikTok shop for real. And she
<v Speaker 1>had showed me physically that she made twenty K the
<v Speaker 1>previous month, and I was like, Okay.
<v Speaker 3>Let me go ahead and get on it. Now.
<v Speaker 1>That was about two years ago. She's probably making way
<v Speaker 1>more now.
<v Speaker 3>But wow, that's crazy. Wow.
<v Speaker 1>After I had that conversation with her, that's all I
<v Speaker 1>needed to get going.
<v Speaker 3>That's all I needed.
<v Speaker 1>Some people you may need to teach them the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>No one needed to teach me anything. I figured it out.
<v Speaker 1>You know.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, So you learned about having to have a hook
<v Speaker 2>and like sales, Like, did you feel like there was
<v Speaker 2>a learning curve for you when you had to start
<v Speaker 2>making the videos.
<v Speaker 1>So I was already doing hooks back in twenty twenty
<v Speaker 1>with my three Times. Ah, that's right, Yeah, I was
<v Speaker 1>already doing the hooks as far as call to actions.
<v Speaker 1>Whenever I would do collaborations, they would always tell me like, hey,
<v Speaker 1>let your followers know to click the link in a bio.
<v Speaker 1>What that was a call to action. So when it
<v Speaker 1>came to me going into TikTok shop, it kind of
<v Speaker 1>wasn't really that difficult. They it just more videos needed
<v Speaker 1>to be put out than what I was used to. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I was posting maybe like with the three Times, I
<v Speaker 1>was posting maybe three to four videos a day, but
<v Speaker 1>I would do that maybe two or three times a week,
<v Speaker 1>not every single day.
<v Speaker 3>With TikTok Shop, I was putting out.
<v Speaker 1>Three videos every single day first starting out, because I
<v Speaker 1>knew what other creatives were doing, so I was like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>let me test this sell. But honestly, my first couple
<v Speaker 1>months I was making great videos, but I.
<v Speaker 3>Was not making seals my first couple months.
<v Speaker 1>And you would think, well, somebody would like two million
<v Speaker 1>followers would have made sales within their first month. Second month, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>third month. There were some people making like ten thousand
<v Speaker 1>dollars within the first week. I wasn't one of those people.
<v Speaker 1>And it's and it's surprising to people. But one thing
<v Speaker 1>when it comes to the TikTok shop, it's not your
<v Speaker 1>followers buying, right, it's the for you page buying. Did
<v Speaker 1>you guys hear that? It is not your followers? It
<v Speaker 1>is the for you page?
<v Speaker 2>Because your TikTok shop videos are not going to your followers,
<v Speaker 2>They're going to the for you page.
<v Speaker 3>You don't want them to go to your followers first
<v Speaker 3>of all. Anyways, I mean.
<v Speaker 2>But on occasion, but yeah, you don't want because think
<v Speaker 2>about it, that's the same ecosystem it's hitting every single time. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So I think that's why they know, no, we want
<v Speaker 2>this to reach a broader audience.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So when I came out the way I approached it,
<v Speaker 1>I approached it in a way where I thought that
<v Speaker 1>they already knew me. Oh yeah, like hey guys, the Sigiana, Like, no,
<v Speaker 1>they don't know me, compared to my followers would see me.
<v Speaker 3>They already knew who I was.
<v Speaker 1>So my videos were being shout out to people that
<v Speaker 1>had no clue I even existed. So I'm talking and like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know this girl scroll. I was selling everything
<v Speaker 1>that everybody was sending me from, like kitchen supplies here, stuff, clothing, shoes.
<v Speaker 1>I sold everything. I had no strategy. I'm like, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just posting. I was posting three times a day consistently.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>My first month, I think I made like thirty five dollars.
<v Speaker 1>My second month, I think I made like one hundred.
<v Speaker 3>I may be lying. My first month I think was
<v Speaker 3>three dollars. I'm lying.
<v Speaker 1>Third month, second month, it was thirty five. My third
<v Speaker 1>month was one hundred dollars.
<v Speaker 3>There you go.
<v Speaker 1>It was until my fourth month I made four thousand
<v Speaker 1>dollars and I was like, okay, let me make a plan.
<v Speaker 1>And then I think my fifth month, that's when I
<v Speaker 1>started making five figures and wow, Yeah, I think I
<v Speaker 1>made like ten twelve K that fourth month, and then
<v Speaker 1>it went to fifteen K, eighteen K, twenty K, and
<v Speaker 1>I believe November is when I hit my first forty K,
<v Speaker 1>and then December it was like around fifty K. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>absolutely crazy. And this is not including the collaborations in
<v Speaker 1>partnerships I was doing at this time.
<v Speaker 2>Either.
<v Speaker 3>That's strictly TikTok shop.
<v Speaker 2>My laughing because it's like wow, like yeah, wait, that
<v Speaker 2>is guys. She's being very serious here, like this is incredible. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>Like you've seen fifty k months from TikTok shop.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm saying more like the most I've ever seen
<v Speaker 1>from TikTok shops so far has been eighty.
<v Speaker 2>K Did you hear what she just said? Oh right now,
<v Speaker 2>this is crazy.
<v Speaker 1>It is well, like I said, not including paid partnerships
<v Speaker 1>at all.
<v Speaker 3>It's amazing. Oh my goodness. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>So once in the fourth month, you decided let me
<v Speaker 2>have a strategy.
<v Speaker 3>What did that strategy consist of?
<v Speaker 1>So I decided let me focus on and niching down. Now,
<v Speaker 1>I already had a niche with those story times with
<v Speaker 1>TikTok shop. Okay, I need to have a niche in
<v Speaker 1>like the beauty space.
<v Speaker 3>Okay. So at that time, I was already doing makeup
<v Speaker 3>and I was doing my hair too.
<v Speaker 1>I have them here, but I was like, I need
<v Speaker 1>to step away from here because these here companies they're
<v Speaker 1>a little bit cheap. They don't don't they don't, and
<v Speaker 1>they commission don't be there either. They want you to
<v Speaker 1>sell two three hundred dollars wig for three dollars commission, yes,
<v Speaker 1>and so I was like, okay, I need to follow,
<v Speaker 1>you know, focus on five dollars or more.
<v Speaker 3>So I was like, okay, five dollars more in commission.
<v Speaker 1>That's the start, and it needs to be beauty products
<v Speaker 1>and I'll throw on a dash of like fashion. But
<v Speaker 1>I stopped doing it here completely. Yeah, stop doing the here.
<v Speaker 1>So that was my thing for a while, beauty in
<v Speaker 1>a little bit of fashion, and I like did well
<v Speaker 1>in that that space. And then I believe, like November December,
<v Speaker 1>I started doing electronics. The electronics. Now I don't do
<v Speaker 1>electronics no more, but there's money in electronics.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>One thing I will say about the electronics beauty, it's
<v Speaker 1>more women focused, you know. And I would say young
<v Speaker 1>women were like a little bit of mature. But electronics
<v Speaker 1>that's e for everyone. It doesn't mean how old you are,
<v Speaker 1>your race, your ethnicity, your gender. It is the evergreen product.
<v Speaker 1>It does not matter who was going out to We
<v Speaker 1>all have buy electronics. Yeah, Like there's no gender attached
<v Speaker 1>to this mic, Yeah that's the fine, but there may
<v Speaker 1>be a gender attached to this phone cases like most
<v Speaker 1>girls would have it. This outfit for women, Yeah, this equipment. Yeah, everybody,
<v Speaker 1>So that's true. Wow, I love that.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, it's so funny because I do remember
<v Speaker 2>I stayed up late one night and I from Amazon
<v Speaker 2>would always use these eyewalk chargers. I was already familiar
<v Speaker 2>with it, so I accepted it as a sample. The
<v Speaker 2>next day it had like overnight, it already had twenty
<v Speaker 2>thousand views, and I go a charger, a charger for
<v Speaker 2>my phone, Like, I was so shocked by Like I
<v Speaker 2>still am, because I'm still I'm only like three months in.
<v Speaker 3>I'm still so shocked at what is selling.
<v Speaker 2>And for me, I also am like a wellness girl,
<v Speaker 2>So I like beauty, but I like wellness as well.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm like the supplements also really like do well
<v Speaker 2>for me, like chlorophyll.
<v Speaker 3>People like chlorophyll.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm like, wow, like I it's just so fascinating
<v Speaker 2>to see. And then I also feel like what you
<v Speaker 2>actually use, your followers can kind of tell because you
<v Speaker 2>naturally sell it better whether you realize it or not.
<v Speaker 2>You know, so when you have the strategy of like, Okay,
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna niche down to beauty, all of a sudden
<v Speaker 2>you just started seeing crazy like a return on your
<v Speaker 2>investment of deciding I'm gonna niche down.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, beauty definitely has catapulted me. But I'll say skincare
<v Speaker 1>I decided, huh see, it wasn't actually my I'm not
<v Speaker 1>gonna say it wasn't my decision to move toward skincare.
<v Speaker 1>But I have an SPM, which is basically a Star
<v Speaker 1>Creator manager. Like, once you start making more than one
<v Speaker 1>hundred and fifty thousand dollarsand G ANDV can get into
<v Speaker 1>the Star Creator program and you get a manager who
<v Speaker 1>lets you know what products you should focus on, and
<v Speaker 1>they also suggest like new up and coming cells and
<v Speaker 1>things like that. And one of one of my SPMs,
<v Speaker 1>one of her associates, who is also SPM, she's not
<v Speaker 1>my SPM, she was telling me, you need to be
<v Speaker 1>doing skincare and I'm like, I don't know. I've done
<v Speaker 1>a couple of skincare videos that did really well, but
<v Speaker 1>I was like, people would think it's just my skin.
<v Speaker 1>My skin is just great. No one's gonna want to
<v Speaker 1>buy the skincare for me. They said, yes, they would.
<v Speaker 1>They said, because you have good skin, they'd rather buy
<v Speaker 1>it from you than someone who.
<v Speaker 3>Has like crazy agne. You know, because at least from you.
<v Speaker 1>They can look at your skin and see something that
<v Speaker 1>reflects the skincare that you're putting on your face.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So I was like, okay, Literally, my second skincare video,
<v Speaker 1>blew Up, has twenty over twenty million views right now.
<v Speaker 1>Twenty million views my second skincare video. Yes, do you
<v Speaker 1>guys hear this immediately expeditiously, expeditiously, And.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, Okay, this is for the money. Is
<v Speaker 3>that exact? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>No, Like the thing is with skincare, especially their bundles.
<v Speaker 2>The bundles are crazy. Ayana, you saw that a New
<v Speaker 2>A set. I saw you post it. I got sent
<v Speaker 2>that and I thought, is this like a mistake? Like
<v Speaker 2>it was so many products and that is fire.
<v Speaker 3>I love.
<v Speaker 2>All of these Korean skincare lines are actually quality.
<v Speaker 3>It is so good. I actually use them, yeah, just
<v Speaker 3>in the video like I used them every day. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I saw you had the the a New A set
<v Speaker 2>and you had the creams and stuff, and I was like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>she really does use this.
<v Speaker 3>It's so good. Wow. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Skincare definitely is amazing and where it's at and it
<v Speaker 2>just feels like wow.
<v Speaker 3>Like another thing.
<v Speaker 1>Skincare is also evergreen because it's not just it's not
<v Speaker 1>strictly beauty focused.
<v Speaker 3>Men by skincare too.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, older women buy skincare, Younger women buy skincare.
<v Speaker 3>It's evergreen.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody wants to clear their skin, that's true.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, everybody wants to clear their skin.
<v Speaker 2>Everybody wants to anti age, everyone wants to have a
<v Speaker 2>youthful appearance. And so that is actually really really special.
<v Speaker 2>One of the things too, I know that you I
<v Speaker 2>think you have two pages. I think three now, three
<v Speaker 2>pages now, so go on locket.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, wait, how do you manage all of that?
<v Speaker 1>I really don't know how I'm really managing. Okay, I
<v Speaker 1>know how to manage my main page because I post
<v Speaker 1>on that every day, five times a day. My second page,
<v Speaker 1>it's a bottom of funnel page. I just started that
<v Speaker 1>a week ago, and literally I've already made over one
<v Speaker 1>hundred dollars on that page. So tell us what that means.
<v Speaker 1>Bottom of funnel. Bottom of funnel is focused on selling
<v Speaker 1>the cell. Like currently, Anah has this bundle that's over
<v Speaker 1>two hundred dollars right now, okay, but it's on sell
<v Speaker 1>for under one hundred dollars okay, So it's like a
<v Speaker 1>fifty five percent off, huge discount, probably the biggest discount
<v Speaker 1>they have done this year. And so there's some people
<v Speaker 1>who already know about the product already. So when they're presented.
<v Speaker 3>A sell, it's just okay, let me go ahead and
<v Speaker 3>get it.
<v Speaker 1>Like I've already been eyeing this product for a while.
<v Speaker 1>I've already been seeing it. Usually bottom of funnel content
<v Speaker 1>is given or sent out to people who have already
<v Speaker 1>seen the product. You know, they already are familiar with it.
<v Speaker 3>You know.
<v Speaker 1>That's why those videos are getting pushed to people who
<v Speaker 1>look at skincare, because they already have seen those skincare videos.
<v Speaker 3>You know.
<v Speaker 1>So it's just like when they see it's on the deal,
<v Speaker 1>it's like, okay, let me just add the card. I've
<v Speaker 1>already seen somebody else review it. I've seen somebody talk
<v Speaker 1>about it. It's on cell. Now let me go ahead
<v Speaker 1>and buy it. Wow, oh my goodness. Okay, so that
<v Speaker 1>actually makes so much sense. Okay, so you have the
<v Speaker 1>bottom of the funnel page, your main page.
<v Speaker 3>It's the top of funnel. My okay.
<v Speaker 1>I will say my main page is mostly top of funnel.
<v Speaker 1>I would say like eighty percent top of funnel, twenty
<v Speaker 1>percent bottom and kind of middle of funnel, like I
<v Speaker 1>kind of do both.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, tell us what the top in the middle means.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So top of funnel is mostly brand awareness and
<v Speaker 1>even me just testing out the products and me describing
<v Speaker 1>what these products do. It's like an introduction to what
<v Speaker 1>this is. And the middle of funnel is a mix
<v Speaker 1>of like, oh, what the products are and here's the cell. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>and I look at it this way. If someone is
<v Speaker 1>watched a top of Funnel video and they make it
<v Speaker 1>all the way to the end, more than likely they're
<v Speaker 1>already interested in the product. So it's like, okay, you
<v Speaker 1>just hit them with that cell. It's like, okay, it's
<v Speaker 1>a good product and it's on, so let me go
<v Speaker 1>ahead and get it. So it's just like I like
<v Speaker 1>to do both, you know, right now it's like a
<v Speaker 1>fight between which one is better, which one you shouldn't do?
<v Speaker 3>I do both? Yeah, yeah, do whatever works for you.
<v Speaker 2>So would you say there are like specific tips and
<v Speaker 2>tricks that you've learned along the way that helped to
<v Speaker 2>create a successful video or do you think it just
<v Speaker 2>really is up to that person and it's kind of
<v Speaker 2>like a luck thing.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think TikTok and TikTok shop is lucky anymore.
<v Speaker 3>I used to think it was. Back then.
<v Speaker 1>I used to think that people were getting lucky, like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>this person's gorgeous, they're blowing up. I mean that is
<v Speaker 1>a possibility, But I see gorgeous people on TikTok all
<v Speaker 1>the time now.
<v Speaker 3>And no one's engaging with their content.
<v Speaker 1>People want value, and I feel like if the content
<v Speaker 1>the content that you're giving, especially with TikTok shop, my
<v Speaker 1>main focus is converting okay, making sure they click and
<v Speaker 1>add that, you know, item to cart. And the way
<v Speaker 1>to do that is like the hooks, you know, get
<v Speaker 1>their attention first to even to pause to even watch
<v Speaker 1>the video. I'm constantly hooking people in, throwing in multiple hooks,
<v Speaker 1>visual hooks as well describing what the product does. And honestly,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna say this, like when it comes to TikTok shop,
<v Speaker 1>TikTok shop versus like YouTube, you kind of have to
<v Speaker 1>withhold information. You gotta have them asking questions, Like there's
<v Speaker 1>certain things that you may not even want to talk about.
<v Speaker 1>Only talk about a few of the products, don't talk
<v Speaker 1>about all of them. Have them asking you questions in
<v Speaker 1>the comments sections to engage back into the video, even
<v Speaker 1>ask questions to get people engaged in, because the engagement
<v Speaker 1>is what pushes the video, and when you have so
<v Speaker 1>many people that are interested, TikTok is going to push
<v Speaker 1>that video out to more and more people. So, like
<v Speaker 1>I said, my whole goal is like converting, which is
<v Speaker 1>why like middle funnel, middle funnel is just like a
<v Speaker 1>good sweet spot.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, I definitely agree, especially given the explanation of
<v Speaker 2>what middle of the funnel is, Like, I think that
<v Speaker 2>makes a lot of sense. And I think also just
<v Speaker 2>being on TikTok shop, like there is a strategy. There
<v Speaker 2>definitely has to be a strategy, and you start to
<v Speaker 2>learn that like organically, you know, again, I am brand
<v Speaker 2>new to it, and I feel like I already started
<v Speaker 2>to see like, wait, this is this can really be
<v Speaker 2>something like this is really really amazing and highly rewarding
<v Speaker 2>as well. And so to also learn that, to highlight
<v Speaker 2>what you said, it is not about followers only, because
<v Speaker 2>followers does not mean conversions and followers also does not
<v Speaker 2>equal money either. So to realize that it's like wait
<v Speaker 2>a second, there are people that have I see people
<v Speaker 2>with five thousand followers and they have videos that are
<v Speaker 2>converting really really well, and they're bringing in ten k
<v Speaker 2>months and it's like wait, okay, like what's going on
<v Speaker 2>Mike count or whatever, So you really honestly can't even compare.
<v Speaker 2>But it's really important to have those hooks, especially the
<v Speaker 2>visual ones. That's why when that whole salmon DNA the
<v Speaker 2>medicube face mask, everybody was like stretching the soap the
<v Speaker 2>cleanser like away from their face.
<v Speaker 3>Everybody was doing that.
<v Speaker 2>Because that visual hook is like literally everything and then
<v Speaker 2>asking questions to you know, intrigue people, cause curiosity or
<v Speaker 2>even like stirring the pot just a little bit in
<v Speaker 2>a healthy way so that you can respond to those
<v Speaker 2>videos and then make another video out of it. Is
<v Speaker 2>I'm assuming what you were trying to say. So I'm
<v Speaker 2>learning all of these things myself, and I'm just like, wow,
<v Speaker 2>this is an actual business. So with the opportunities that
<v Speaker 2>you've gotten from TikTok Shop, like the first thing that
<v Speaker 2>you were ever invited to, you said you met your
<v Speaker 2>front Angie.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, I've met Angie. I've met so many girls us
<v Speaker 1>in this space and going to these events.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, the free samples are great. I know you wanted
<v Speaker 3>to go to that other event.
<v Speaker 1>Those samples, but connecting with these brands and the creators
<v Speaker 1>are like my biggest goal. That's like my main focus
<v Speaker 1>because once you're kind of locked in with the brands,
<v Speaker 1>you will get the free samples. The free samples will
<v Speaker 1>come once you build that relationship. The more events that
<v Speaker 1>you will go to once you build more relationships with creators.
<v Speaker 1>You know, there have been events I've gone to because
<v Speaker 1>of other creators. You know, they say, hey, this is
<v Speaker 1>going on, Hey come with me. I would have never
<v Speaker 1>gone to that event if that person did not invite me.
<v Speaker 3>You know.
<v Speaker 1>That is why it's so good to build relationships within
<v Speaker 1>this space.
<v Speaker 3>I know a lot of people are like.
<v Speaker 1>About becoming friends with other affiliates or like social media influencers,
<v Speaker 1>because I mean, we've all had bad experiences. But I
<v Speaker 1>think bad experience is going to come and go. It's
<v Speaker 1>a life, you know, it's life. But I'm not going
<v Speaker 1>to let small experiences with other people ruin my future
<v Speaker 1>or potential relationships I could build with other creators in
<v Speaker 1>the future, even brands as well, because once I get
<v Speaker 1>in there and I'm in the room with these brands,
<v Speaker 1>I'm asking you Hey, what's your discords? What's your future
<v Speaker 1>plans for Black Friday? Hey, do you have any sales
<v Speaker 1>coming up? What are you known for? What product? Like
<v Speaker 1>what is your top selling product hashtag? But that's the
<v Speaker 1>information that I need to know. So I need so
<v Speaker 1>I know what products I need to focus on for
<v Speaker 1>the future for their brand, you know, Yeah, because my
<v Speaker 1>whole thing is conversions. Like we like to see the numbers,
<v Speaker 1>we like to run the numbers, and.
<v Speaker 2>That's what makes you a valuable asset to the brand's
<v Speaker 2>period though, because there is an ROI and so I
<v Speaker 2>think that when it comes to promoting these products as
<v Speaker 2>well and connecting with the brands, Like first of all,
<v Speaker 2>side quest here, I did not realize how prevalent discord
<v Speaker 2>lark would be if you have a TikTok and what's
<v Speaker 2>app Yeah, I had no idea. And speaking of conversions period,
<v Speaker 2>like you converted me into the nails I just cause
<v Speaker 2>I was like, wait.
<v Speaker 3>Her nails look more like acrylic.
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying to get into the press on world, you know, Okay,
<v Speaker 2>And I was like, I want something that's like more
<v Speaker 2>salon quality, no offense to the traditional ones that we
<v Speaker 2>buy at CBS and stuff, but it's not the same.
<v Speaker 2>And I like the fact that I found nails finally,
<v Speaker 2>and I feel like I crack the code now because
<v Speaker 2>of this where I'm like, all right, I found this,
<v Speaker 2>So that was a conversion because you're the one that
<v Speaker 2>put me onto the nails the nails people, and I
<v Speaker 2>was like, oh.
<v Speaker 3>And then that connected me to the brand. They actually
<v Speaker 3>just sent me nails.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, So the girl really is doing her job out here.
<v Speaker 3>Okay. Proof. So conversions really is everything?
<v Speaker 2>And do you feel like there are any special tips
<v Speaker 2>and tricks and advice that you have when it comes
<v Speaker 2>to those conversions. So I know you mentioned it is
<v Speaker 2>the visual hooks and also the hooks.
<v Speaker 3>That people need to have.
<v Speaker 2>But there's a lot of controversy around posting a certain
<v Speaker 2>amount of times a day. Does it matter what time
<v Speaker 2>you post? Does it matter how often you post? Because
<v Speaker 2>I'm hearing all types of things. First it was three,
<v Speaker 2>then it was six. Then we're hearing about the girl
<v Speaker 2>that's posts twenty five times a day, plus she has
<v Speaker 2>a nine to five job. You said you recorded three
<v Speaker 2>hundred videos the other day and you were gonna post
<v Speaker 2>one hundred times a day.
<v Speaker 3>How do you make that happen.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So I guess I have multiple different pages. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>So I actually spoke about that conversation, the posting time,
<v Speaker 1>the amount of times to post on my third page,
<v Speaker 1>which is like another page where I also teach affiliates
<v Speaker 1>how to do TikTok shop or anyone that wants to
<v Speaker 1>learn how to do TikTok shop.
<v Speaker 3>I've done a lot of.
<v Speaker 1>Audits and one thing I talked about was posting time
<v Speaker 1>and how posting time does not matter if you look
<v Speaker 1>at your analytics, right, and you look at the timestamp,
<v Speaker 1>and you may see, oh, the followers are available, like
<v Speaker 1>they're mostly on my page around five pm, six pm.
<v Speaker 1>But when you go ahead and check your analytics of
<v Speaker 1>your videos, you will see that over ninety eight percent
<v Speaker 1>of those views that audience was all from the for
<v Speaker 1>you page. So it's like, why would you, you know,
<v Speaker 1>base your posting time based upon the one or two
<v Speaker 1>percent of people that watch you.
<v Speaker 3>So it's just like it makes no sense.
<v Speaker 1>I've even shown this, like I've I've shown screenshots of
<v Speaker 1>my videos of like, hey, over ninety nine percent of
<v Speaker 1>these people are from the for you pagees are not
<v Speaker 1>my followers, So why am I basing these one percent
<v Speaker 1>of followers. It just doesn't make any sense. Yeah, it
<v Speaker 1>just doesn't align. So I literally will post at three
<v Speaker 1>o'clock in the morning and I'll literally post some back
<v Speaker 1>to back to beck to beg. It does not matter.
<v Speaker 1>I don't care anymore. I used to hate one of
<v Speaker 1>those people. We're like, Okay, I'm an both said this time.
<v Speaker 1>Wait wait wait, I'm a way to hour. I'm way
<v Speaker 1>to hour another two hours giving myself anxiety.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, suh, I'm just like, oh my gosh, forgot the post.
<v Speaker 3>Like no, they're all going up right now.
<v Speaker 2>So we're all living the same life that I'm free
<v Speaker 2>from the shackles of that. I want to say, free yourself. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>I'm free because I was.
<v Speaker 3>It happened organically.
<v Speaker 2>We're actually one of my friends, my friend Emma, she
<v Speaker 2>also is she's a mom, but she's I don't know
<v Speaker 2>if she considers herself a content creator. I think she
<v Speaker 2>kind of just does it just to do it. She
<v Speaker 2>ended up randomly having a video go viral for alt
<v Speaker 2>fragrances like the bakara thing, like her video went crazy
<v Speaker 2>and they started to push it out, and then I
<v Speaker 2>remember her and I were having a conversation and she
<v Speaker 2>was like, I'm rage I'm rage posting right now. I
<v Speaker 2>have so many samples to do. And I was like,
<v Speaker 2>what's that, Like, what do you mean I'm rage posting?
<v Speaker 2>So she was saying, I'm filming. I'm gonna be posting
<v Speaker 2>back to back. I go, well, how far apart are
<v Speaker 2>you posting? She was like like five seconds, like I'm
<v Speaker 2>just going and I was like, don't do that. My friend,
<v Speaker 2>my other friend told me that your account's gonna get flagged.
<v Speaker 2>She goes, I've been posting like this from like ever
<v Speaker 2>since I started posting. Nothing's ever happened. And that was
<v Speaker 2>months and months and months ago. She shared that with
<v Speaker 2>me one day. I was having a bad day recently
<v Speaker 2>and I was like, I don't care, post post, post, post, post,
<v Speaker 2>like and I was like, nothing happened to me.
<v Speaker 3>So I was like, I'm gonna do it again. I'm
<v Speaker 3>gonna do it again and I won't be stopped. And
<v Speaker 3>I can't be stopped.
<v Speaker 2>Oh. I just kept doing it and now I'm like
<v Speaker 2>a rage poster. And also I love posting at crazy
<v Speaker 2>times in the in the in the day too, so
<v Speaker 2>I will start posting sometimes at midnight MM hmmm, saying,
<v Speaker 2>and who's gonna stop me? What's the problem?
<v Speaker 1>And I'm gonna say this too, right, So, if it
<v Speaker 1>was bad to I guess rage post post back to
<v Speaker 1>back to back. Yeah, if it was bad to post
<v Speaker 1>at two o'clock, three o'clock in the morning, mm hmm,
<v Speaker 1>it would be like one of TikTok guidelines. Oh, don't
<v Speaker 1>post that three o'clock in the morning. Don't post back
<v Speaker 1>to back to back. If we were not allowed to
<v Speaker 1>do it, we would not be able to do it.
<v Speaker 1>You get what I'm saying. So it's just like TikTok
<v Speaker 1>allows us to post whenever. However many videos you want
<v Speaker 1>to post. You know, it's not in a TikTok guidelines. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>you can't post no more than ten videos. That's not
<v Speaker 1>in the guidelines.
<v Speaker 3>Do you hear that, guys? Is it in the guidelines? Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>Is it in the guidelines? That should be a shirt?
<v Speaker 3>Is it in the guidelines? No?
<v Speaker 2>I absolutely love that. And I want to kind of
<v Speaker 2>actually backtry now and take a little side quest. So
<v Speaker 2>I do remember you talking to me about your college journey.
<v Speaker 2>So did you go to school, where'd you go to school?
<v Speaker 2>What's your journey with that, well, how has that been?
<v Speaker 3>Okay?
<v Speaker 1>So after high school, I took a gap year and
<v Speaker 1>I really was focused on TikTok and I had a
<v Speaker 1>business at the time, and I was making a lot
<v Speaker 1>of money, you know, at that time.
<v Speaker 3>So I was de baking, don't.
<v Speaker 1>Want to go to school. But my parents was like, oh, no,
<v Speaker 1>you should go to school.
<v Speaker 3>Have a backup plan. Da da da dah. You know
<v Speaker 3>how that go? Do you know? So you've been a
<v Speaker 3>business girl.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I always been a business girl. He always had
<v Speaker 1>that mindset. So I was like, I'm going back to school.
<v Speaker 1>My parents want me to go to school. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>really care to go to be honest, and I was
<v Speaker 1>paying for it.
<v Speaker 3>I was paying for it. I go to school.
<v Speaker 1>I was paying like twelve hundred dollars a month to
<v Speaker 1>go to a school that I didn't want to go to.
<v Speaker 1>But I went to Lincoln University HBCU. I did love Lincoln.
<v Speaker 1>Lincoln was pretty fun. It was parties literally every single day.
<v Speaker 1>Them kids is crazy. I also was Miss Lincoln MS freshman,
<v Speaker 1>which is like, uh, you would consider it like the
<v Speaker 1>president of like your class, but like I represent like
<v Speaker 1>the student body of women. So I was Miss freshman.
<v Speaker 1>I also was, So that's like to student council.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, wait, I have to ask, is that your photo
<v Speaker 2>on your email?
<v Speaker 1>Like when I oh the cram. Yeah no, that's actually
<v Speaker 1>I took that picture in high school.
<v Speaker 3>That's it.
<v Speaker 1>Oh I still had that picture. People keep asking me, like, girl,
<v Speaker 1>take that picture down. I'm like, no, that's staying there forever.
<v Speaker 1>That is a that's a statement that means queen, like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>the crown on. But I did a lot in college.
<v Speaker 3>What was your major?
<v Speaker 1>I was business. I did business and I didn't learn anything.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't learn anything. The most I learned was like
<v Speaker 1>stocking cups and it didn't make any sense to what
<v Speaker 1>I was doing. I was back on the internet side.
<v Speaker 1>They were stuck in the nineteen nineties. Yeah, they weren't.
<v Speaker 3>That's when I was born.
<v Speaker 1>They weren't there, so they weren't really teaching us anything
<v Speaker 1>that was real. I'm like, I'm still doing business to
<v Speaker 1>this day, and everything that they were teaching us was
<v Speaker 1>not relevant, right, So everyone leaving will leave out with
<v Speaker 1>old information. So it's like I felt like I was
<v Speaker 1>wasting my time. Yeah, and also I really wanted to
<v Speaker 1>move to Atlanta, so I literally dropped out after the
<v Speaker 1>first semester, and I was doing well. I was a
<v Speaker 1>straight A student in college too, was all yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>was really I took school seriously, like when I'm if
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it. I did
<v Speaker 1>it and didn't realize, like, this is not gonna be
<v Speaker 1>worth the investment. I think I'm just gonna focus on
<v Speaker 1>social media because I think that year, I think I
<v Speaker 1>probably made like six figures when I was in college
<v Speaker 1>those four months from your own business, from my business,
<v Speaker 1>and so you might be asking, like, what was that business?
<v Speaker 3>Makeup?
<v Speaker 1>I sold makeup, eye shadow, I sold Concillers brushes.
<v Speaker 3>Was it your own line?
<v Speaker 1>More like, oh, I did everything myself, but my family
<v Speaker 1>did also help. So when I was at school in
<v Speaker 1>my dorm room, I was focused on the marketing. I
<v Speaker 1>was focusing on building up my website. They were packaging
<v Speaker 1>my orders for me, you know, back at home, and
<v Speaker 1>it was very helpful. And that happened for like four
<v Speaker 1>months from like August I think to December. When I
<v Speaker 1>was at school, I lived in a dorm room, so
<v Speaker 1>it's like I couldn't physically be there in my office.
<v Speaker 3>My office was at my.
<v Speaker 1>Parents' house, so it was just like they were there,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the products were there, polymelos were there. So
<v Speaker 1>I would literally just send them like, hey, this is
<v Speaker 1>the person order package it. They would send it out
<v Speaker 1>for me, and I was very very thankful that they
<v Speaker 1>did that for four months because that's a long time and.
<v Speaker 3>They had a lot of orders to pack. You know,
<v Speaker 3>it was a job.
<v Speaker 1>But I did pay them, you know, I didn't like
<v Speaker 1>they weren't just working for free.
<v Speaker 3>You know.
<v Speaker 1>But after a while, after I sold out of all
<v Speaker 1>my products, I didn't want to do the business anymore.
<v Speaker 3>Because I was so stressed out.
<v Speaker 1>Between school, I was still doing social media full time,
<v Speaker 1>you know, as a creator. I was still running my
<v Speaker 1>business and I was this freshman. And then I also
<v Speaker 1>had this burnt incident that happened at my school. Ended
<v Speaker 1>up getting burnt by some hot order. My whole thigh
<v Speaker 1>had to go to the hospital and everything. So I
<v Speaker 1>was like trapped in somebody dorm for like a good
<v Speaker 1>two months, but I was still getting my work done.
<v Speaker 1>It was just I was so stressed out and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, I don't want to be at the school anymore.
<v Speaker 1>I want to leave. So I literally went to Atlanta
<v Speaker 1>the next month. I like, I moved as soon as
<v Speaker 1>I left school. I didn't even tell my parents that
<v Speaker 1>I dropped out. I was like, I'll be doing online classes. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and they were like, okay, and I just I moved.
<v Speaker 3>I just moved. Yeah. I did so much, just back
<v Speaker 3>to back to back. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And that was a good experience to moving. Was I
<v Speaker 1>was kind of trapped, but I mean it was fun
<v Speaker 1>for the most part.
<v Speaker 3>So did you So now you don't live in Atlanta anymore?
<v Speaker 3>What means you combine? So I was in this relationship.
<v Speaker 1>It was a really bad relationship, most toxic relationship of
<v Speaker 1>my life. This was three years ago, back in like
<v Speaker 1>I was with this person from like when I was
<v Speaker 1>in high school up until like twenty twenty two, before
<v Speaker 1>I even turned twenty one. Yeah, before I turned twenty
<v Speaker 1>I think I right before I turned twenty one. But
<v Speaker 1>I was essentially like stuck in that situation dealing with
<v Speaker 1>that toxic relationship. That relationship taught me so much. It
<v Speaker 1>taught me everything I would never deal with. Okay, I've
<v Speaker 1>learned all of the red flags of all the red
<v Speaker 1>flag I think the biggest red flag of my life. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>but after that experience and that person that I was
<v Speaker 1>with was still there. Yeah, I was like, I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to be in this area. I don't want to
<v Speaker 1>be surrounded by this person, Like I just want to
<v Speaker 1>distance myself. So I moved back home, Oka home, and
<v Speaker 1>with me moving back home, it was like he knew
<v Speaker 1>he couldn't talk to me once I moved back home. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he knew he couldn't bothered me, So he found another
<v Speaker 1>victim at least that wasn't me. I was reading from
<v Speaker 1>the shackles of the jail, And so were you guys
<v Speaker 1>living together when you were out there? Yeah, kind of
<v Speaker 1>like he'd be like in and out, but I was
<v Speaker 1>the main one there. But I felt like I couldn't
<v Speaker 1>go I don't know where. He didn't want to go to
<v Speaker 1>new parties, I couldn't make no new friends.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I was like just I felt like, you know, I
<v Speaker 1>think at that time, I had this thing in my
<v Speaker 1>head was, well, I'm in a relationship, and so if
<v Speaker 1>I don't follow these things, these rules like yeah, now
<v Speaker 1>I would never deal with that. Yeah, but at that
<v Speaker 1>time It's like I still have friends to this day
<v Speaker 1>who won't even travel somewhere, but just because their boyfriend said, oh,
<v Speaker 1>he said I can't go.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and I used to be that way.
<v Speaker 1>Well, he said I can't go out to the party,
<v Speaker 1>so I can't go, like he was. My own parents
<v Speaker 1>never even did that. Yeah, but it's just like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that was like he said, I he Now my freedom
<v Speaker 1>means everything to me. I wish somebody would tell me
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't go nowhere. I'm going to go there on purpose.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah that's because you said I couldn't go.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that has taught me, like I really value my
<v Speaker 1>freedom so much at that experience. Now that was three
<v Speaker 1>years ago, and I'm like, I'm a completely different person now.
<v Speaker 1>You will never catch me. I do everything on my
<v Speaker 1>own terms. Now my mind is just yeah. But you're
<v Speaker 1>also very advanced because you're so young. You already had
<v Speaker 1>a business that was bringing in six figures when you
<v Speaker 1>were in college.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>That was a wild ride and I learned so much
<v Speaker 1>from that experience.
<v Speaker 3>That was my last real relationship.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but like I said, you're so mature, and it's
<v Speaker 2>so amazing that you learn these things early on and
<v Speaker 2>you don't stay stuck on stupid. You know, like a
<v Speaker 2>lot of people they just have to keep on repeating
<v Speaker 2>the same cycle, learning the same things all over again.
<v Speaker 2>But when you are a woman, that especially you're at
<v Speaker 2>a young age, you've achieved so much. Like let's be
<v Speaker 2>real here, independence stems from financial stability and security, and
<v Speaker 2>that blanket will then set the trajectory for you to
<v Speaker 2>be able to make decisions and be on your own terms.
<v Speaker 2>So were you paying were was he paying for the apartment?
<v Speaker 2>Or were you paying for it? Or was it like
<v Speaker 2>a split thing?
<v Speaker 3>So is that paying for it? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Like when I broke things off, I end up, you know,
<v Speaker 1>with the least having to pay for it, you know,
<v Speaker 1>once things ended, which honestly wasn't too bad because I
<v Speaker 1>was only there for like the last two months anyway,
<v Speaker 1>So okay, had the last two months. I'm just gonna
<v Speaker 1>make my parents hof Yeah. But the rent was like
<v Speaker 1>crazy expensive. The rent was like thirty six hundred dollars
<v Speaker 1>a month.
<v Speaker 3>Really at that time too.
<v Speaker 1>But I lived in a really nice high rise in
<v Speaker 1>midtown Atlanta, which is probably the most expensive part to
<v Speaker 1>live in I know, Buckhead in Midtown the most expensive
<v Speaker 1>place is to live in Atlanta, and I was in
<v Speaker 1>the center of it. I had a high rise on
<v Speaker 1>the twenty second floor Floridas selling windows.
<v Speaker 3>I love my apartment, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, had two beds, two bathrooms almost like my office
<v Speaker 1>space and my beauty room, and the other space was
<v Speaker 1>like my bedroom.
<v Speaker 3>So at this time, you were on TikToker, now I was.
<v Speaker 3>I was on TikTok.
<v Speaker 1>I was okay, and he knew that he was on
<v Speaker 1>He he honestly all his family was watching my.
<v Speaker 3>Videos, you know, Okay.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, was he supported that like he supported me, like
<v Speaker 1>doing social media, but he never wanted me to post him.
<v Speaker 1>He never wanted me to post him. Well, honestly, there
<v Speaker 1>was the reason why though.
<v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, okay, I figured, yeah, I didn't want no
<v Speaker 3>one to He didn't want no one to know that, and.
<v Speaker 2>He probably wanted you in the house so you couldn't
<v Speaker 2>meet anyone that he was with, probably too because Atlanta
<v Speaker 2>is small, Yeah, very very small, you know. Oh, okay,
<v Speaker 2>that makes sense. So were you doing TikTok shop then too. No,
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't doing TikTok shop at the time.
<v Speaker 1>It was just I was still doing my business and
<v Speaker 1>just doing like regular collaborations like that was my main focus.
<v Speaker 2>So how did you go about, by the way, like, uh,
<v Speaker 2>negotiating collaborations, because that's a separate subject where a lot
<v Speaker 2>of the times we tend to like not know how
<v Speaker 2>to negotiate.
<v Speaker 3>Blowball ourselves. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, So what I learned I learned this a long
<v Speaker 1>long time ago from another creator I used to be
<v Speaker 1>close with.
<v Speaker 3>We're not friends anymore. We kind of like spill off.
<v Speaker 1>It was this big thing that had been there anyway,
<v Speaker 1>But she had told me to shoot extremely high. And
<v Speaker 1>at that time, I'm like, shoot high. I'm like, why
<v Speaker 1>not just give him rate? She said, if you shoot high,
<v Speaker 1>they'll just probably give you your race. So I'm like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>so I would like three times the amount that I
<v Speaker 1>would normally charge. Yeah, and I'll be like, oh, I
<v Speaker 1>charged eight K for a video. Yeah, and they'll probably
<v Speaker 1>shoot as well as like around like three K or
<v Speaker 1>whatever two K. And I was like, okay, that's probably
<v Speaker 1>around the range that I want to go for anyway.
<v Speaker 1>So I was saying, when it comes to these deals,
<v Speaker 1>shoot high, Okay, start really high, yeah, because they will
<v Speaker 1>go low.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, So things will go.
<v Speaker 1>Low when they go low, you go high.
<v Speaker 3>Wow.
<v Speaker 2>That is honestly amazing And just to see you be
<v Speaker 2>so successful and again so down to earth Like, I
<v Speaker 2>was like, wait, is that Ayana Serna in the building,
<v Speaker 2>because your videos actually showed up. It was your other
<v Speaker 2>TikTok that showed up, the one that you are helping.
<v Speaker 3>You're helping affiliates.
<v Speaker 2>Mm hm, And I was like, this girl looks so
<v Speaker 2>familiar to me.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like I've seen her actual page.
<v Speaker 2>I'm pretty sure I follow her actual page, but I
<v Speaker 2>couldn't figure what the name was for some reason. So
<v Speaker 2>then when you showed up, I booked marked it. I
<v Speaker 2>was like, oh my gosh, Okay, that is the same girl. Like, okay, wow,
<v Speaker 2>this is amazing. And I didn't want to be creepy
<v Speaker 2>because I know you said you were doing like audits
<v Speaker 2>and things like that, and I was like, should.
<v Speaker 3>I do an audit? I'm not sure. I don't know
<v Speaker 3>if she's starting it yet, but I was just yeah,
<v Speaker 3>it took me some time when building up the page.
<v Speaker 1>I wanted people to recognize who I was, yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to at least put some things out there.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like ever since I started, I didn't realize
<v Speaker 1>I only do audits on Mondays and I didn't do
<v Speaker 1>it because I've been traveling. Yeah, I didn't realize how
<v Speaker 1>much time goes into like each person.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, So I was like, yeah, I'm just doing it.
<v Speaker 3>Mondays Yeah, yeah, because.
<v Speaker 1>I would be on call the entire time because my
<v Speaker 1>thing is like, I want to give you your money's worth. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I want to give you everything. If we're talking here,
<v Speaker 1>you need to have a questions lined up. I'll be
<v Speaker 1>asking is there anything you want to ask me or
<v Speaker 1>any other information? And it did have any questions. I'm like, Okay, well,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna just start giving you stuff because I feel
<v Speaker 1>like these are things that you should know because a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people don't know.
<v Speaker 3>Even what to ask or what to look for.
<v Speaker 1>So honestly, I me personally, I will go through their
<v Speaker 1>entire page and write down things that I see that
<v Speaker 1>they're doing wrong, things that they can fix, things that
<v Speaker 1>they can add. I suggest products as well that they
<v Speaker 1>should use. Curated to who they are, you know, as
<v Speaker 1>a person. Like I saw one girl she was a
<v Speaker 1>bartender and a bottle girl.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, you need to be promoting those bottle tops.
<v Speaker 3>You know those bottles yo, they had I love that
<v Speaker 3>bottle top. I'm like, you literally deal with bottles all day.
<v Speaker 1>Why aren't you not popping them open with the bottletop
<v Speaker 1>that's on TikTok shop.
<v Speaker 3>You can easily do that.
<v Speaker 1>People trust you, you have credibility because you're a bartender.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, you're opening bottles all day.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so it's just like people love that. Like I
<v Speaker 1>was telling, like, you can build a whole niche around
<v Speaker 1>you doing this, Like even how.
<v Speaker 3>Like you dress up like yeah outfits.
<v Speaker 1>Like you could make this into like curated to your
<v Speaker 1>life so it could be easier for you. So that
<v Speaker 1>was like my main focus when doing these audits, because
<v Speaker 1>it is something curated for that person and their life
<v Speaker 1>and who they want to be as a creator. How
<v Speaker 1>many times they want to post all those things and
<v Speaker 1>what they should be focused on the next couple months.
<v Speaker 3>Wow.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, I And honestly, all of Ayana's information will
<v Speaker 2>be down below.
<v Speaker 3>I highly suggest that you guys have her audit.
<v Speaker 2>She's only gonna do it on Mondays, Okay, I don't
<v Speaker 2>forget that she's a busy girl.
<v Speaker 3>But highly it's booked up pretty fans. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I remember the first time I had put it out there,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't expect for all those people to like want
<v Speaker 1>an audit. Really, yeah, I expect that more people to
<v Speaker 1>want the course, but no, they wanted.
<v Speaker 2>The audiit the audit because it's like one on one,
<v Speaker 2>you know what I mean. So that's why it makes
<v Speaker 2>it a lot more appealing because it's like, oh my gosh,
<v Speaker 2>I want her to look at my page like all
<v Speaker 2>the things.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, definitely check her out.
<v Speaker 2>I'll have all her information in the show notes down below,
<v Speaker 2>where you can get an audit from none other than
<v Speaker 2>Ayanna Sabrina, a Tick Talk Shop star creator.
<v Speaker 3>Ayana, thank you for coming on this show aging me.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, absolutely, and this is not going to be the
<v Speaker 2>last time that you will see us. So with that
<v Speaker 2>being said, do not forget that I love you and
<v Speaker 2>God loves you, and I will speak to you, beautiful
<v Speaker 2>angels in my next podcast episode A Bye
