<v Speaker 1>So now, guys, it is a Wednesday night. My eyes
<v Speaker 1>are just glued to the TV. So that's why I'm
<v Speaker 1>a little bit late here because the game I know
<v Speaker 1>is in the closing moments, very exciting Game two. It's
<v Speaker 1>Game one. That's not what I don't mean Game two,
<v Speaker 1>but poor Dynamite up against Game one of the NBA Finals,
<v Speaker 1>which has turned into a hell of a game. I'll
<v Speaker 1>tell you what Dynamite though turned into. It turned into
<v Speaker 1>a hell of a show here tonight. It was a wild,
<v Speaker 1>wildly overbooked main event that we got in the Owen
<v Speaker 1>Heart Foundation Tournament with will Osbury going one on one
<v Speaker 1>with Mark Davis. And when I say overbooked, I lost
<v Speaker 1>count of how many people ran in to interfere in
<v Speaker 1>that match and the multiple ref bumps at everything else.
<v Speaker 1>You would think this was WrestleMania forty. This was WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>forty levels of overbooking. If Wrestle forty had about five
<v Speaker 1>or six more people who decided to run in during
<v Speaker 1>the match. And I gotta tell you, I kind of
<v Speaker 1>loved it. I kind of loved it. And the people
<v Speaker 1>in the building, I don't know where they were to,
<v Speaker 1>but the people in the building were losing their minds.
<v Speaker 1>They were losing their fricking mind for these two guys.
<v Speaker 1>But in the end, it was the outcome that you
<v Speaker 1>just had to expect coming into it. Will Osprey is
<v Speaker 1>going to the finals of the Owenhart Foundation Tournament. He
<v Speaker 1>has bested Samoa Joe, he has bested Mark Davis and
<v Speaker 1>now he will meet either Swerve Strickland or Brody King.
<v Speaker 1>Swerve Strickland being the one who makes the most sense,
<v Speaker 1>especially given the history these two guys have at that event.
<v Speaker 1>They had a great match two years ago that Swerve
<v Speaker 1>came out on the winning end of I suspect that'll
<v Speaker 1>be a little bit different this time around. So yeah,
<v Speaker 1>of course it was a predictable outcome, but it turned
<v Speaker 1>into a hell of a main event. And this is
<v Speaker 1>the second week in a row now that we have
<v Speaker 1>gotten a Mark Davis main event on Dynamite, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>here for it. The guy goes out there, he has
<v Speaker 1>killer matches. Tonight was no different. That match was freaking
<v Speaker 1>crazy there by the end. Again, I know there was
<v Speaker 1>a lot going on, but you have the death Riders
<v Speaker 1>running in defend off the don Kallis family, the Callous family,
<v Speaker 1>fighting back against the death Riders. It was insanity at
<v Speaker 1>the end of Dynamite. I don't know that it needed
<v Speaker 1>to go fifteen minutes overtime, but we had a fifteen
<v Speaker 1>minute overrun with tonight's show. So Osprey advances in the Owen.
<v Speaker 1>He is not the only person who moved on in
<v Speaker 1>the Owen Heart Tournament tonight, because tonight we had to
<v Speaker 1>find out who the wild card was going to be
<v Speaker 1>against Alex Windsor. Because Willow Nightingale got hurt, she had
<v Speaker 1>to vacate her TBS championship, which I'm going to talk
<v Speaker 1>about that actually in a moment, and she had to
<v Speaker 1>pull out of the Owen. Now, originally it was going
<v Speaker 1>to be Willow and Alex windsor a double or nothing.
<v Speaker 1>And the fact that they decided to not do that
<v Speaker 1>match and they did Athena against Mina Shirakawa instead. The
<v Speaker 1>one thing I said was, well, can't be Mercedes Monette,
<v Speaker 1>because if it was gonna be the big return of
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes Monet, surely they would do it at double or nothing.
<v Speaker 1>We haven't seen this woman on television since New Year's Eve.
<v Speaker 1>The fact that they didn't do the match on the
<v Speaker 1>pay per view told me, well, it'll probably be somebody
<v Speaker 1>else that doesn't have the kind of name that she does. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I'll be damned, But tonight, lo and behold, guess who
<v Speaker 1>showed up. Guess who made her return tonight to AW television.
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes Monette. She came out to enter herself into the
<v Speaker 1>Owenhart Tournament. Now the second year in a row. She
<v Speaker 1>won the tournament last year. I think we all see
<v Speaker 1>where she's headed to this year. She is moving on
<v Speaker 1>to the next round. She is going to be wrestling
<v Speaker 1>the winner of the match coming up between Persephone and Hazuki,
<v Speaker 1>which I believe is happening on Collision this weekend. So
<v Speaker 1>that was a little confusing me. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>the plan was for her to come back in this match.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why they would not have done it
<v Speaker 1>in New York in front of that crowd on that
<v Speaker 1>pay per view. That's a little confusing to me. But
<v Speaker 1>we have those two names that are moving on in
<v Speaker 1>the tournament. Meanwhile, MJF defended his AW World championship against
<v Speaker 1>Rusche and Mark Briscoe made it very clear that he
<v Speaker 1>is coming for MJF and that AW World Championship. He
<v Speaker 1>cut a hell of a promo tonight, a very serious
<v Speaker 1>promo which was a little jarring because he's out there
<v Speaker 1>doing redneck kung fu and wrestling Leo Rush, who's doing
<v Speaker 1>this blackheart gimmick. And we go from that to again
<v Speaker 1>what was a very serious post match promo, but one
<v Speaker 1>that I thought was very effective and very good. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know that I see that as the aw World
<v Speaker 1>title match for Forbidden Door, even though it looks like
<v Speaker 1>we're probably headed in that direction. But again, hell of
<v Speaker 1>a promo that we will talk about a little bit
<v Speaker 1>later on. And Kevin Knight, he defended his TNT title
<v Speaker 1>against his now former partners Speedball Mike Bailey, but not
<v Speaker 1>before joining the Don Callus family. Oh yes, oh yes,
<v Speaker 1>because if you thought that Takeshta leaving the family was
<v Speaker 1>going to mean there were one man down, we can't
<v Speaker 1>have that. We have to replace him. We have to
<v Speaker 1>have there's a certain number of Callous family members. It's
<v Speaker 1>like a quota that you have to fill. You can't
<v Speaker 1>drop below that number. You're not allowed to. They're contractually
<v Speaker 1>obligated to stay at a certain number. Fuck if I
<v Speaker 1>know what that number is at this point. But yes,
<v Speaker 1>the one thing that the don Kallis Family needed more
<v Speaker 1>of is yet another member, and that member is Kevin Knight. Now,
<v Speaker 1>having said all of that, as ridiculous as it is
<v Speaker 1>that we're still adding members to this fucking faction, it's
<v Speaker 1>not all it's not all bad. It's not at least
<v Speaker 1>not for Kevin Knight. Maybe for the other members of
<v Speaker 1>the don Kallis family who were a little below him,
<v Speaker 1>but for Kevin Knight. Look, at the end of the day,
<v Speaker 1>it's very clear that Tony Kah loves Kevin Knight and
<v Speaker 1>he's gonna push Kevin Knight. So whether Kevin Knight has
<v Speaker 1>Don Kallus in his corner, whether he has nobody in
<v Speaker 1>his corner, if he would have joined the Hurt Syndicate,
<v Speaker 1>if they would have had him doing any number of things,
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight is in for a big push here in
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six, no matter what. So if you're a
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight fan, it's not like, oh my god, he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna get lost in the shuffle. I'm not worried about
<v Speaker 1>him getting lost in the shovel. If I were one
<v Speaker 1>of the lesser members of this group, I would be
<v Speaker 1>a little concerned, But if I were Kevin Knight. It's
<v Speaker 1>not as if it's gonna harm him. It's just ludicrous
<v Speaker 1>that we continue to add people and yet we're not
<v Speaker 1>subtracting enough at the same time. It'd be one thing
<v Speaker 1>if we were shedding members. It's almost like a turnover,
<v Speaker 1>you know. There's like a certain turnover that happens every
<v Speaker 1>few months. They lose three guys, they gain three more.
<v Speaker 1>It's not even that they're just adding and adding and adding.
<v Speaker 1>It's unbelievable. They keep multiplying, they keep multiplying. There was
<v Speaker 1>a very funny moment tonight that with Don kallis very embarrassing,
<v Speaker 1>but very funny, that we'll talk about. I thought this
<v Speaker 1>was a very good show tonight. There was a lot
<v Speaker 1>going on. There was some really good wrestling. We'll talk
<v Speaker 1>about it. We had quite the night last Wednesday here
<v Speaker 1>on the stream, especially with that five hundred dollars bomb
<v Speaker 1>that we got from KB Good. I don't think it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be quite that crazy tonight, but hey, you
<v Speaker 1>never know. This is the aw Dynamite review. Here. It
<v Speaker 1>is Wednesday, it is June third, it is twenty twenty six.
<v Speaker 1>I am a solid monster. Let me do a very
<v Speaker 1>quick check of where we are in this game. Oh
<v Speaker 1>my goodness, a little over a minute left and the
<v Speaker 1>Knicks are up by three. This is a hell of
<v Speaker 1>a game, I gotta say. You know, the backstage of Dynamite,
<v Speaker 1>there was a monitor or something that was on and
<v Speaker 1>they were all crowded around it watching this game tonight. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>hit that like button, Hit that subscribe button. Super chats
<v Speaker 1>are open. I'll be reading your messages as I always do.
<v Speaker 1>I know we got a bunch of them that came
<v Speaker 1>in earlier, and I appreciate that. But we got to
<v Speaker 1>spin the wheel. We got some business to transact here.
<v Speaker 1>Before we go any further, we must find out what
<v Speaker 1>our goal for tonight is with the likes. Le's find out, spin, Spin,
<v Speaker 1>Spin three point fifty. Okay, that's a little more reasonable
<v Speaker 1>than what we had the other night. But we're to
<v Speaker 1>twelve right now, two hundred and twelve likes, so let's see.
<v Speaker 1>Let's see, let's see what we can do. Fifty is
<v Speaker 1>the goal. I think that's attainable, but that's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>up to you guys. Oh, it looks like they pulled away.
<v Speaker 1>It looks like they pulled away. It's gonna be a
<v Speaker 1>good day in New York tomorrow. It's gonna be a
<v Speaker 1>good day in New York tomorrow. Man, from what I
<v Speaker 1>saw this, this this game was a freakin war. But
<v Speaker 1>I said it the other night. I said it last
<v Speaker 1>night actually on TNT Nixon six. That was my pick
<v Speaker 1>Nixon six. Maybe they could wrap it up a little
<v Speaker 1>bit earlier. I guess it depends on what Dan Housen does.
<v Speaker 1>M hmm. Good thing. Dan Housen isn't in AW near
<v Speaker 1>don Kallas. Yeah, we need we need Dan Housen to
<v Speaker 1>curse the don Kallis family. I feel like before Dan
<v Speaker 1>Housen left aw he put a curse on all of
<v Speaker 1>us that we have to be subjected to a constant
<v Speaker 1>stream of new members in the don Kallis family. We
<v Speaker 1>had footage that aired from earlier in the day of
<v Speaker 1>Renee backstage with Rouche and he spoke about finally getting
<v Speaker 1>a title shot, saying he's waited three years for this
<v Speaker 1>and he's willing to die in the ring if that's
<v Speaker 1>what it takes. He says, this is for his people,
<v Speaker 1>this is for his family, this is for pride, and
<v Speaker 1>he'll take the title because when you mess with the bull,
<v Speaker 1>and before he could finish, MJF interrupted and he slapped
<v Speaker 1>him in the face and he said that if he's
<v Speaker 1>the bull, that makes MJF the matador, and Rouche took
<v Speaker 1>him down and they had to be separated. So that
<v Speaker 1>was earlier. So now we're back live in the back
<v Speaker 1>with Renee and Rouche, and she informed him that they
<v Speaker 1>just found out that there would be no countouts in
<v Speaker 1>their match tonight, which is very strange. Right, disqualifications are
<v Speaker 1>are still valid, you can be disco qualified in this match,
<v Speaker 1>but there's no countouts, which I guess was just an
<v Speaker 1>excuse to allow them to fuck around outside the ring
<v Speaker 1>and not get counted out. But it's a little strange
<v Speaker 1>that they would say no countouts only it just kind
<v Speaker 1>of came about very randomly there. So Andrade walked in.
<v Speaker 1>He told Ruche to do this for his family, to
<v Speaker 1>do this for anyone who says that he can be
<v Speaker 1>a world champion. Lies little pep talk that he gave
<v Speaker 1>to Rushe And that led into our opening contest, which
<v Speaker 1>was for the AEW World Championship, MJF defending against Ruche.
<v Speaker 1>And this right here, this right here is why MJF
<v Speaker 1>is in the position that he is in. MJF comes
<v Speaker 1>out and he is dressed like Tito Santana. He comes out,
<v Speaker 1>He's got the cape, he's got the whole, the hat,
<v Speaker 1>you see it right there, the whole get up. He
<v Speaker 1>comes out dressed a Mattador and I laughed, I just
<v Speaker 1>I thought of Santana. Okay, honey bough. So he gets
<v Speaker 1>to the regged, he tells Justin Roberts to tell the
<v Speaker 1>fans that he took out their hometown boy hangman Adam Page,
<v Speaker 1>who can never challenge again for the aw World title.
<v Speaker 1>And also how all the fans put the virgin in Virginia. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I guess that answers my question from before they were
<v Speaker 1>in Virginia. Today, I was like, I don't know where
<v Speaker 1>Dadamite was. It was in the opening probo he mentioned
<v Speaker 1>it fuck in Virginia, So the fans didn't like that
<v Speaker 1>very much. Now Rouche he landed a somersault dive out
<v Speaker 1>to the floor early in the match. He ended up
<v Speaker 1>choking MJF with a camera cord before Bryce Remsburg reminded
<v Speaker 1>him it's no count out, not no disqualification. So that
<v Speaker 1>little delay, though, allowed MJF to gain the upper hand
<v Speaker 1>when he charged Rusche, though, he got taken over the
<v Speaker 1>timekeeper's barricade with an overhead throw and he kind of
<v Speaker 1>landed on and bounced off the table that was sitting
<v Speaker 1>there on the other side of the barricade. So back
<v Speaker 1>inside the ring, Ruche ripped off one of the top
<v Speaker 1>turn buckle pads. He went for the bulls horns. MJF, though,
<v Speaker 1>went to the apron to avoid it. So Ruche went
<v Speaker 1>to run MJF into the exposed buckle. Remsburg stood in
<v Speaker 1>the way to stop him from doing so. MJF shoved
<v Speaker 1>Remsbury out of the way and then he slammed Rushe's
<v Speaker 1>head into the steel buckle instead, which opened him up,
<v Speaker 1>and so Rushne was bleeding from the forehead. MJF got
<v Speaker 1>the salt of the earth armbar applied. Rushe though, broke
<v Speaker 1>the hold and he had a pile driver on the
<v Speaker 1>apron that took us into a break. So rush goes
<v Speaker 1>over outside the ring and now both guys are suffering.
<v Speaker 1>Rush's favoring his arm and MJF is hurting, and the doctor,
<v Speaker 1>the rings doctor is conferring with the referee and they're
<v Speaker 1>talking to Justin Roberts about how both men are just
<v Speaker 1>they're not in a condition to continue in this match,
<v Speaker 1>which is bullshit. Of course it's a fucking World championship match,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm like, this is kind of weak, but that's
<v Speaker 1>what they're telling justin Roberts. And before he can make
<v Speaker 1>any kind of announcement about stopping the match, Rush goes over.
<v Speaker 1>He head butts the doctor. He gave the ringside doctor
<v Speaker 1>a head butt, apparently, so the match continued. The match
<v Speaker 1>went on because apparently there's no other doctors in the building.
<v Speaker 1>The one doctor got you know, laid out, and so shit, well,
<v Speaker 1>I guess this match must continue. So Ruch hit the
<v Speaker 1>bulls horns and he covered MJF, who'll put his hand
<v Speaker 1>on the bottom rope. At the very last minute, Rushe
<v Speaker 1>went for another pile driver on the apron. MJF, though
<v Speaker 1>avoided it, and rushe was selling his left arm. He
<v Speaker 1>went for the bulls horns on the floor. MJF moved,
<v Speaker 1>He hit the barricade and in doing so he just
<v Speaker 1>basically went right through it, knocked it over into the crowd.
<v Speaker 1>MJF then picked him up. He gave him a tombstone
<v Speaker 1>pile driver on the piece of barricade or barrier that
<v Speaker 1>was laying there on the floor dumped him on his head,
<v Speaker 1>so back inside, MJF avoided a missile dropkick, got Rush
<v Speaker 1>in the labell lock, and Rouche was trapped. But he
<v Speaker 1>kind of tilted his head to look up at MJF
<v Speaker 1>and he stuck his tongue out, and MJF had a
<v Speaker 1>look on his face like he couldn't believe it. And
<v Speaker 1>then he flips MJF off with his one free hand,
<v Speaker 1>but then he starts to fade, and then eventually Rush
<v Speaker 1>goes out and the referee calls for the stoppage. You know,
<v Speaker 1>as great as a lot of those Darby Allen title
<v Speaker 1>defenses ended up being, because there were a lot of
<v Speaker 1>really good title matches that he had on Dynamite when
<v Speaker 1>he was running himself ragged every single week defending that belt.
<v Speaker 1>As good as many of those matches were, I would
<v Speaker 1>put this one up there with maybe not all of them.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying it was better than all of those,
<v Speaker 1>but I would put this up there with many of
<v Speaker 1>those matches. This is a very good match, really good
<v Speaker 1>stuff here, the biggest match of Rushe's aw runs so
<v Speaker 1>far since you joined the company, and he had the
<v Speaker 1>crowds solidly behind him. And again it's a combination of
<v Speaker 1>people I think, liking Rusche but also just don't you know,
<v Speaker 1>disliking MJF. When you're a good heal, you want people
<v Speaker 1>to be invested in the other person beating you and
<v Speaker 1>taking the title. Ruche is not the strongest challenger in
<v Speaker 1>the company. I mean, the guys that he's been beating
<v Speaker 1>on TV to build up this wind streak that they
<v Speaker 1>talked about are a bunch of scrubs. It's no one
<v Speaker 1>of any notoriety. But he beat like five, six, seven
<v Speaker 1>people in a row, and then he won that four
<v Speaker 1>way match last week, and all of a sudden, he's
<v Speaker 1>challenging for the world championship. So it's not like he
<v Speaker 1>was built up in some super strong way. But it's again,
<v Speaker 1>a lot of it has to do with the fact
<v Speaker 1>that MJF. He knows how to get heat, he knows
<v Speaker 1>what he's doing right. He's very hateable, and so the
<v Speaker 1>people A they want to see a title change, and
<v Speaker 1>B they want to see him lose the belt, and
<v Speaker 1>so it makes for a fun atmosphere. Now, after the match,
<v Speaker 1>MJF was about to hit Roushe with the belt. When
<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe ran out and Brisco he ducked a belt
<v Speaker 1>shot he got him hooked for a jay driller MJF
<v Speaker 1>got out of it. He kicked brisco and the balls.
<v Speaker 1>He was setting up to hit brisco with the championship
<v Speaker 1>until he spotted Orange Cassidy, tomohiro E, she Roderick Strong
<v Speaker 1>and Kyle O'Reilly running out, and so he bailed and
<v Speaker 1>that was the end of that. Now, Mark brisco he
<v Speaker 1>stuck around because after the commercial break he went one
<v Speaker 1>on one with the Blackheart, Leo Rush. Now as Leo
<v Speaker 1>was making his entrance, Orange Cassidy and the other members
<v Speaker 1>of the conglomeration were leaving, but they stopped in their
<v Speaker 1>tracks and they froze. Remember how back if you were
<v Speaker 1>a fan of Saved by the Bell, back in the day,
<v Speaker 1>those of you old enough to remember Saved by the Bell,
<v Speaker 1>and how in the middle of an episode, like Zach
<v Speaker 1>would like snap his fingers and everybody would freeze, and
<v Speaker 1>then he would just look at the camera and address
<v Speaker 1>us the audience. Right, I love it when people just
<v Speaker 1>sort of freeze, They're just frozen in place. What they
<v Speaker 1>did here was I guess this is kind of the
<v Speaker 1>new thing now where if you don't move the creature
<v Speaker 1>within Leo rush, I guess he won't recognize that, you know,
<v Speaker 1>you're standing there until he'll ignore you and he'll just
<v Speaker 1>leave you alone and keep walking. So you don't want
<v Speaker 1>to move a muscle, right, I guess that's the idea
<v Speaker 1>behind him. And as soon as he kind of cause
<v Speaker 1>he walked, he kind of crawled past them. They started
<v Speaker 1>moving again, but then he turned around to look and
<v Speaker 1>so they froze again. So basically this was this was
<v Speaker 1>like squid game where they're playing red light, green light,
<v Speaker 1>and then finally once the coast was clear, they fucking
<v Speaker 1>high tailed it to the back. So I yes, exactly,
<v Speaker 1>just like the t Rex from Jurassic Park. Yes, that's
<v Speaker 1>exactly what it's like. Wow, they won by ten and
<v Speaker 1>they really ran it up there a little bit at
<v Speaker 1>the end. Huh. Well, congrats, congrats to all the Knicks
<v Speaker 1>fans out there. I already hear some some fireworks outside
<v Speaker 1>my window. What is that like eleven? Now? Is that
<v Speaker 1>eleven or twelve? I think that's twelve in a row?
<v Speaker 1>Telling you man, the curse is real. Curse has extended
<v Speaker 1>now it's extended from the caves to the spurs. That's crazy. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>red light, green light. Have you not seen squid Game?
<v Speaker 1>That's exactly what they did here. Anyway, this is this
<v Speaker 1>match here Brisco Leo Rush. It was fun enough with Leo.
<v Speaker 1>He was doing all of his usual high jinks. I've
<v Speaker 1>talked about this gimmick. I like it is it? Is
<v Speaker 1>it ridiculous? Is it silly? Is a goofy Shore? I
<v Speaker 1>mean he plays it well. I don't know. I feel
<v Speaker 1>like the show could use stuff like this. It's so
<v Speaker 1>unlike anything that you would normally see on an episode
<v Speaker 1>of Dynamite. Like when they first started featuring him on
<v Speaker 1>the show, I was kind of hoping, like, look, hopefully
<v Speaker 1>this can be a regular thing where you get him
<v Speaker 1>multiple appearances on these shows. The one thing I will
<v Speaker 1>say is that I think they need to do more
<v Speaker 1>of I'm not saying fill the show with Leo Rush segments,
<v Speaker 1>but it would be nice to feature him and maybe
<v Speaker 1>in some backstage stuff now instead of just him coming
<v Speaker 1>to the ring and you know, kneeling in the corner
<v Speaker 1>and mumbling to himself if you want to, you know, again,
<v Speaker 1>try to flesh this out a little bit more or
<v Speaker 1>try to better understand exactly what's going on here and
<v Speaker 1>have other people in the back like he's trying to
<v Speaker 1>interact with them and they're all freaked out. I still
<v Speaker 1>think there's more potential to explore things with this character,
<v Speaker 1>So I'm glad that Tony is at least trying to
<v Speaker 1>give him some consistent time here on this show. He
<v Speaker 1>doesn't win, but then again, I used to say that
<v Speaker 1>about Mark Davis. There's hope. I don't have a lot
<v Speaker 1>of hope, but there is hope that at some point
<v Speaker 1>maybe this thing will catch on a little bit better
<v Speaker 1>and he could start to win some matches. The problem is, again,
<v Speaker 1>he's not He's not a big guy, and so they're
<v Speaker 1>not going to have him in there beating guys that
<v Speaker 1>are that are twice his size, you know, unless he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna push him and give him some sort of push
<v Speaker 1>to a title. But that's not something I would be doing,
<v Speaker 1>not right now. The key, though, I think, is just
<v Speaker 1>to feature him consistently and maybe we could learn a
<v Speaker 1>little bit more about what the fuck is going on here,
<v Speaker 1>because every week you kind of sit around wondering like
<v Speaker 1>we ever going to get an explanation for why he
<v Speaker 1>is the way he is hasn't happened yet. Brisco beat
<v Speaker 1>him though, beat him with a cutthroat driver. This was
<v Speaker 1>really more important to get Briscoe out there so he
<v Speaker 1>could cut the postmatch promo, which was really the important
<v Speaker 1>part of this here. So there was a cameraman in
<v Speaker 1>the ring. He wasn't looking at the hard cam, but
<v Speaker 1>we had a cameraman in the ring, and so he
<v Speaker 1>was looking dead into the camera. Hey, he goes. He
<v Speaker 1>wanted to address one man, and that man is MJF.
<v Speaker 1>He wants to take us back to January of twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty three. That was that was the day that that
<v Speaker 1>pre mode was activated. I believe it was a Tuesday.
<v Speaker 1>Venom Catetsu, thank you for the twenty five dollars pre
<v Speaker 1>mode said Dad had back surgery, so took the day
<v Speaker 1>off to get him home and run errands after being discharged.
<v Speaker 1>So a rare Wednesday off of work. I thought I
<v Speaker 1>would check out the sicko crowd and help with the
<v Speaker 1>be the booker progress. I appreciate that. I hope your
<v Speaker 1>dad's doing well. Hopefully he recovers quickly. I'm actually going
<v Speaker 1>in for something tomorrow, something minor tomorrow. They have to
<v Speaker 1>put me out for it, though. I love how they
<v Speaker 1>won't let you home unless you have a chaperone. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>is this really necessary? And they're like, yes, you're going
<v Speaker 1>to be under anesthesia, You're gonna wake up, You're not
<v Speaker 1>allowed to drive. You have to have somebody here. So anyway,
<v Speaker 1>that's where I'll be tomorrow. I'll be going under for
<v Speaker 1>a procedure. But anyway, I wish your dad the best.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully he heals quickly, but he wants to take us
<v Speaker 1>back to January of twenty twenty three, when his brother
<v Speaker 1>Jay was taken from us. He goes just like that.
<v Speaker 1>One day later it was Mark's birthday. One week later
<v Speaker 1>was what would have been Jay's birthday, and instead of
<v Speaker 1>celebrating to get like they always used to do and
<v Speaker 1>eating birthday Cake said that he was in the ring
<v Speaker 1>making his debut in aaw but he was making his
<v Speaker 1>debut alone, right because, I mean, these two guys had
<v Speaker 1>been together in the ring together for twenty years, so
<v Speaker 1>it was a very strange feeling for him to be
<v Speaker 1>out there all by himself, and you can only imagine
<v Speaker 1>the whirlwind of emotions. He said, He's got all this
<v Speaker 1>anger and rage, he has to kind of push it
<v Speaker 1>down and keep it there. AW may have saved his life, says,
<v Speaker 1>that's his therapy. That's how he got his anger out.
<v Speaker 1>But down at his core, he couldn't find any joy.
<v Speaker 1>And then he found some friends who were down to
<v Speaker 1>conglomerate and he said that his heart was full again.
<v Speaker 1>And then he crossed paths with MJF, and week by week,
<v Speaker 1>slowly but surely, with all the bullshit that was coming
<v Speaker 1>out of mjf's mouth, the rage and the anger returned.
<v Speaker 1>And he says he's never hated a man as much
<v Speaker 1>as he hates MJF. And you know what happened when
<v Speaker 1>I got my hands on you, he said, I pined
<v Speaker 1>your bloody ass in the middle of the ring, and
<v Speaker 1>then you went away, and it felt good because I
<v Speaker 1>was able to breathe again. But your ugly ass came
<v Speaker 1>back and the rage all came back. But now you
<v Speaker 1>have something that I want, that's the AW world title.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm not like you. I don't bitch and complain
<v Speaker 1>because I'm a grinder. I come to work and I
<v Speaker 1>do what I'm supposed to do. And so he's calling
<v Speaker 1>out mjf's manhood. He goes, Max, I'm calling you out.
<v Speaker 1>Feels like I've got some demons on me. He goes,
<v Speaker 1>isn't that fitting devil? And he pointed out he's got
<v Speaker 1>some Hebrew letters tattooed. Mark does on his it's like
<v Speaker 1>his upper chest and he says the letter tattoo says
<v Speaker 1>child of God. And he doesn't know if Max read
<v Speaker 1>the book or not. But the devil loses. He says, now,
<v Speaker 1>stop being a moist ass bitch and give me a
<v Speaker 1>title shot. And that was his closing mic drop moment. There.
<v Speaker 1>I thought he killed it with this promo. This was great.
<v Speaker 1>This was just a great serious promo. Again. You know,
<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscow goes out there, he's all, you know, happy
<v Speaker 1>and trying to have fun and acting all goofy. That's
<v Speaker 1>not what this was. Now. It was very clear last
<v Speaker 1>week they were going to be setting him up for
<v Speaker 1>a title match at some point with MJF. This was
<v Speaker 1>the promo to really drive it home as something serious.
<v Speaker 1>This is not just another match to him, right, this
<v Speaker 1>is personal and here's why. Right, he let everybody know,
<v Speaker 1>this is why I hate this man. All the comments
<v Speaker 1>that MJF made during their feud, and he would bring
<v Speaker 1>up Jay, you would invoke his name and his back
<v Speaker 1>before they had their Tables and Tax match last year,
<v Speaker 1>which Mark won, which I pointed out last week. At
<v Speaker 1>least there you have a reason why Mark Brisko would
<v Speaker 1>want a title shot, right, I beat you. I know
<v Speaker 1>I can beat you now. You didn't have the belt
<v Speaker 1>back then, but now you do, and so I want it.
<v Speaker 1>It's a very simple story. Now, it's not ideal because
<v Speaker 1>these guys were feuding a fucking year ago, right nine
<v Speaker 1>months ago. All this time has gone by. Mjf went
<v Speaker 1>away for a little bit, Briscoe went away a little
<v Speaker 1>bit earlier this year. I think it might have been
<v Speaker 1>a storyline injury thing, as I recall. So that's not
<v Speaker 1>ideal having all of this time go by. Kyle O'Reilly.
<v Speaker 1>I pointed this out when o'reiley had that match A
<v Speaker 1>Double or Nothing a couple of weeks ago with John Moxley.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, technically it was a well worked wrestling match.
<v Speaker 1>It was not the most exciting thing in the world,
<v Speaker 1>but it lost a lot of steam that feud because
<v Speaker 1>they were building up Kyle O'Reilly last year and kind
<v Speaker 1>of giving him a little bit of a push where
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley, who was still a heel at the time,
<v Speaker 1>was terrified of getting in the ring with this guy
<v Speaker 1>because he was going to tap out. And the story
<v Speaker 1>they tried to tell it worked. Fans were reacting. They
<v Speaker 1>gave O'Reilly the win right in blood and guts, but
<v Speaker 1>Kyle got hurt and so he went away and then
<v Speaker 1>he came back, and the whole landscape was different because
<v Speaker 1>now I don't know what the fuck the death Riders
<v Speaker 1>are supposed to be. But Moxley is more of a
<v Speaker 1>babyface now than a heel, And all of this time
<v Speaker 1>went by and it just didn't have the same you know,
<v Speaker 1>feeling that it would have had when they were doing
<v Speaker 1>this in the fall last year. It's tough when you
<v Speaker 1>let so much time go by. I thought he did
<v Speaker 1>about as good a job as you could ask for
<v Speaker 1>to try to kind of bring people back into it
<v Speaker 1>if they weren't into it. There's not much more that
<v Speaker 1>he could do or say outside of what he talked
<v Speaker 1>about here in this promo. You're either sold on this
<v Speaker 1>match or not. I'm sold on them doing it, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not sold on it as like a forbidden door title match.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I'd like to see something different. I can't
<v Speaker 1>imagine after this. I can't imagine them not doing this
<v Speaker 1>on the pay per view. Maybe they don't, maybe they
<v Speaker 1>set it up for a big episod o to Dynamite.
<v Speaker 1>It just feels to me like this is going to
<v Speaker 1>end up being that forbidden door match though. But this
<v Speaker 1>was great, This is great stuff. And then bitches Teklo
<v Speaker 1>is here, Cilencio Techlas speaking. She was in the crowd
<v Speaker 1>and she had her fellow Sisters of Sin with her.
<v Speaker 1>She says she has something very important to say. She
<v Speaker 1>said that if anybody from stardom ever came to aw
<v Speaker 1>she would wipe them off the face of the earth.
<v Speaker 1>She was known as the idol killer when she was
<v Speaker 1>in Japan, and yes she was fired from Japan, but
<v Speaker 1>this is her house. She talked about sky Blue was
<v Speaker 1>going to go on to win the Owen Hart Tournament.
<v Speaker 1>Sure thing, sky Blue is going to win the O
<v Speaker 1>and Julia Hart is going to win her TBS title back.
<v Speaker 1>Oh that's what I wanted to mention. Let me pause there.
<v Speaker 1>Forgot to mention this earlier. So they have a bounced
<v Speaker 1>what they are going to do to crown a new
<v Speaker 1>TBS champion. We are not going to get a new
<v Speaker 1>TBS champion for another month. July first, on the July
<v Speaker 1>first episode of Dynamite, they are going to have the
<v Speaker 1>for the first time ever in AW a Survival of
<v Speaker 1>the Fittest match. Now they've done these in Ring oh
<v Speaker 1>my god. They've done these in Ring of Honor going
<v Speaker 1>back many many years. I mean, they've done them in
<v Speaker 1>ROH going back to two thousand and four, and they
<v Speaker 1>actually just did one last month at Supercar to honor
<v Speaker 1>Athena beat five other women to retain her championship because
<v Speaker 1>nobody could beat this woman sept Mercedes. So now they're
<v Speaker 1>doing it in AW and they're going to have a
<v Speaker 1>series of qualifying matches over these next several weeks on TV,
<v Speaker 1>and then they'll have what will be an elimination match.
<v Speaker 1>So I think there's going to be six women, I
<v Speaker 1>believe five or six, and it'll be an elimination style
<v Speaker 1>tornado match basically to crown a new champion. I don't
<v Speaker 1>hate it because the alternative, what was the alternative in
<v Speaker 1>this situation, a one night Battle Royal. It's fucking lame.
<v Speaker 1>You're gonna do a tournament, you have two tournaments going
<v Speaker 1>on right now, you can't have a third one. It's
<v Speaker 1>at least in AW. It's something we haven't seen before, right,
<v Speaker 1>We've seen it in Roh, we haven't seen it in AW.
<v Speaker 1>The downside is we have another month with no champion.
<v Speaker 1>But it does give these matches that we'll see on
<v Speaker 1>TV now some value that they wouldn't otherwise have. Instead
<v Speaker 1>of just being a bunch of random matches, they actually
<v Speaker 1>have meaning and value. And the winners will move on
<v Speaker 1>to this match on July first, and then we'll find
<v Speaker 1>out who the new TBS champion is. Now, without knowing
<v Speaker 1>who's in the match, I can't say who that person
<v Speaker 1>is gonna be. You know, they have different options for
<v Speaker 1>who they It ain't gonna be Julia Hart, but that's
<v Speaker 1>how they're going to crown a new TBS champion. But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>Tekla said that she's not declaring war on stardom. She's
<v Speaker 1>declaring death to stardom. And if that message wasn't clear
<v Speaker 1>enough that by the time as she's cutting this promo,
<v Speaker 1>they've exited the crowd. She was kind of backing up
<v Speaker 1>down the aisleway looking into the camera. The cameraman was
<v Speaker 1>following her on the stage. Just below the screens, there's
<v Speaker 1>a ladder set up, and so Tekla begins to climb
<v Speaker 1>the ladder and on the screen they have the Forbidden
<v Speaker 1>Door graphic which has the AW logo and the new
<v Speaker 1>Japan logo and the CMLL logo and the Stardom logo,
<v Speaker 1>and she spits on the screen where the Stardom logo is,
<v Speaker 1>and then on commentary, ex Caliber apologizes to their wonderful
<v Speaker 1>partners in Stardom. I just want to take a moment
<v Speaker 1>here to apologize to the fine people in the Stardom promotion.
<v Speaker 1>So I guess she's wrestling somebody from Stardom at Forbidden Door.
<v Speaker 1>Don't know who, but at least now we know what
<v Speaker 1>she's gonna be doing it. I knew there would be
<v Speaker 1>at least one person in the chat when she spit
<v Speaker 1>on the screen. I said that there's some freaky deep
<v Speaker 1>people out there watching this show who would probably pay
<v Speaker 1>good money for her to do that to them. And
<v Speaker 1>then we see Pseudo in the chat. It should have
<v Speaker 1>been me. There's always one. There's always one. We had
<v Speaker 1>andrete L. Actually, before we even get to that, we
<v Speaker 1>go backstage the Death Riders are with Will Ospray and
<v Speaker 1>John Mosley says, look, I know Mark Davis is still
<v Speaker 1>renting space in your head. You guys used to be
<v Speaker 1>very tight, but he isn't a tokyo monster. He's a
<v Speaker 1>man with two arms and two legs. Don Callus will
<v Speaker 1>have to hire a truck driver to take you out
<v Speaker 1>if he wants to win. Mosley says, he's tired of
<v Speaker 1>all these groups around here. Yeah, tell me about it,
<v Speaker 1>and he wants Osprey to focus on Davis and he'll
<v Speaker 1>take care of the rest. Then we had Androte Ledelo
<v Speaker 1>taking on DK van Dou. Is that how it's pronounced? DK?
<v Speaker 1>Van do? I believe is the person's name. He wasn't
<v Speaker 1>in there for very long, mister van Dou over here
<v Speaker 1>eight a spinning back elbow and then a DM, and
<v Speaker 1>Androte wanted about thirty seconds, So thank you DK. After
<v Speaker 1>the match, Androdi got on the mic and he said,
<v Speaker 1>since MJF has the world title, he wants the world title,
<v Speaker 1>and he knows that MJF has beaten Rusche, But does
<v Speaker 1>MJF really think he can beat a real Latino man?
<v Speaker 1>How you know that's his catchphrase? Now? How you know
<v Speaker 1>Don Kallis walked out and he had Jake Doyle with him.
<v Speaker 1>Jake Doyle had been out for many months with a
<v Speaker 1>torn was it a bicet, It's a torn bicep. It
<v Speaker 1>was a bicep or a tricep. I'm pretty sure it
<v Speaker 1>was a bise up. And so he returned last week
<v Speaker 1>and it was very unceremonious and very random. He just
<v Speaker 1>sort of showed up. It's like, oh, Jake Doyle is back. Okay.
<v Speaker 1>So now he comes out to the ring with Don
<v Speaker 1>Callous and he tells Andrade, you know, great job, great job.
<v Speaker 1>But he's got something to say. He's very excited. Callus
<v Speaker 1>has some sort of announcement here to make, and he
<v Speaker 1>introduces the newest member of the Don Kallus family. Now,
<v Speaker 1>first I was like, he's got Doyle out there with him.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, well, Doyle's already in the family, what is
<v Speaker 1>this new member? Nonsense? No, he has a brand new
<v Speaker 1>member of the don Kallis family, the Jet Kevin Knight,
<v Speaker 1>who's already the TNT champion. He's already having great success,
<v Speaker 1>but now he has he joined the don Kallus family.
<v Speaker 1>I guess because he wants it all. He wants to
<v Speaker 1>be the world champion, and Callous is the guy who
<v Speaker 1>can help take him to the promised land. Fucking Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight is now a part of the ever expanding, grossly overweight,
<v Speaker 1>morbidly obese Don Kallis family. The best part of this
<v Speaker 1>entire thing here was he said this so excitedly that
<v Speaker 1>his teeth fell out of his fucking mouth as he
<v Speaker 1>was announcing Kevin Knight's name and fell on the mat. Now,
<v Speaker 1>this is not the first time that this has happened.
<v Speaker 1>Now it looks to me like it's a bridge. It
<v Speaker 1>looks like it's a piece that has like multiple teeth
<v Speaker 1>on it, and it just it just now. When this
<v Speaker 1>happened the first time, I'm pretty sure when this happened
<v Speaker 1>the first time, Hangman Page was in the ring, and
<v Speaker 1>I think Callous was on the stage or the the isleway,
<v Speaker 1>so he was addressing Hangman And at first I thought,
<v Speaker 1>like his gum, like he spit gum out by accident,
<v Speaker 1>Like his gum that he was chewing had fallen out
<v Speaker 1>of his mouth. And then I go on social media
<v Speaker 1>that night and everyone's like lol, like his fucking teeth
<v Speaker 1>fell out. I'm like, what are you talking about. So
<v Speaker 1>I went back and I looked at him, like, holy shit, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>his teeth fell out, Like that's pretty embarrassing. So this
<v Speaker 1>is the second time now that this has happened. This
<v Speaker 1>guy has to fucking super glue that shit in there.
<v Speaker 1>Apparently it's gonna be the only way this stuff's gonna
<v Speaker 1>stay in his mouth. I'm like, how many more times
<v Speaker 1>is this gonna happen? Ex Caliber Corpse. I'm sure he
<v Speaker 1>wasn't the only one. It sounded like all the announcers
<v Speaker 1>were trying not to draw attention to it, but they
<v Speaker 1>wanted to just bust out laughing. I don't know, man,
<v Speaker 1>he needs to use some gorilla glue because whatever he's
<v Speaker 1>using now it ain't working. But Kevin Knight comes out
<v Speaker 1>and he hugs Callous Androte looks very annoyed at all
<v Speaker 1>of this, Androtte has got one foot out the door.
<v Speaker 1>I think we've seen this for a while. He'll be
<v Speaker 1>the next guy after Takashta. He'll be the next guy
<v Speaker 1>out of the Callous family and going babyface, especially when
<v Speaker 1>and if he actually does wrestle MJF. Here's my thoughts
<v Speaker 1>on Kevin and I joining the Don Kallis Family. On
<v Speaker 1>the one hand, when you really think about it, the
<v Speaker 1>Callous crew gets more television time than anybody else on
<v Speaker 1>these shows Dynamite Collision, because there's so many of them,
<v Speaker 1>Like legitimately, he has at least fifteen members in this
<v Speaker 1>family or somewhere in that range. Has to be. So
<v Speaker 1>Callous is all over these shows. And Callous is a
<v Speaker 1>great heel manager, right, I take nothing away from him,
<v Speaker 1>don Callous. I mean, we talk about Paul Hayman doing
<v Speaker 1>his thing in WWE. Callous is a better manager than
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman at the moment, at this point in time.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying all time. I'm just saying right now,
<v Speaker 1>it's the closest thing that we have to a faction
<v Speaker 1>the size of what the Heenan Family used to be.
<v Speaker 1>But even the Heenan Family, I mean, my god, they
<v Speaker 1>weren't adding new members at the rate that the fucking
<v Speaker 1>Callous Family is. But the first point I wanted to
<v Speaker 1>make is that they get so much television time. They're
<v Speaker 1>all over these shows. And you look at someone like
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher, Kyle Fletcher has benefited from being part of
<v Speaker 1>of the Callous vortex. If you will, and so you
<v Speaker 1>can't deny that, right. I look at Kevin Knight the
<v Speaker 1>same way in twenty twenty six that I did Kyle
<v Speaker 1>Fletcher in twenty twenty five, and I think this is
<v Speaker 1>gonna be his year. It already is. It already is
<v Speaker 1>his year, and it's we're not even at the halfway
<v Speaker 1>point yet. So him joining the Callous Family isn't gonna
<v Speaker 1>hurt Kevin Knight. It's not because Kevin Knight is going
<v Speaker 1>to be one of the more feet members of the
<v Speaker 1>family that we see on TV. You've got Okada and
<v Speaker 1>you've got Fletcher, and now you can put Kevin Knight
<v Speaker 1>right in that same class. And then all of these
<v Speaker 1>other guys Andrade and Mark Davis and Brian Cage and
<v Speaker 1>Lance Archer and Trent Boretta and Rocky Romero and who
<v Speaker 1>am I missing? I know I'm missing others, Jake Doyle,
<v Speaker 1>all of them are going to be below Kevin Knight
<v Speaker 1>and Okata and Fletcher. Now that Takeshta's gone, we can't,
<v Speaker 1>you know, include him in there anymore. So I think
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight's gonna be fine. I don't see this impacting
<v Speaker 1>him in a negative way. Oh my god, he's gonna
<v Speaker 1>get overwhelmed by all the other members in the group,
<v Speaker 1>and he's going to be overshadowed. He's not now, if
<v Speaker 1>you're one of those other people I just mentioned, those
<v Speaker 1>guys are going to take a back seat now and
<v Speaker 1>take a step down. And so maybe they're not so happy.
<v Speaker 1>You know that Kevin Knight is the shiny new toy
<v Speaker 1>in the don Kallis family, and maybe some of them
<v Speaker 1>get a little less love than they were getting on
<v Speaker 1>TV before. On the other hand, though, you cannot ignore
<v Speaker 1>how comically absurd it is that Tony Kahan just keeps
<v Speaker 1>tossing people into this fucking group. I mean, it's just
<v Speaker 1>like it's like a rite of passage. If you're a heel,
<v Speaker 1>you have to join the don Kallis or at least
<v Speaker 1>pass through the don Kallis family. At some point it
<v Speaker 1>just you say enough is enough. I mentioned Hayman, right,
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned Hayman before. We still have Paul Haman guys
<v Speaker 1>here in twenty twenty six. Paul Hayman right now is
<v Speaker 1>with the Vision. The Vision sucks, but those are his guys,
<v Speaker 1>right and he still has Brock. This would be the
<v Speaker 1>equivalent of Paul Hayman adding a new heel into his
<v Speaker 1>group literally every two or three weeks. Now, they don't
<v Speaker 1>have nearly as many people running around on their television
<v Speaker 1>shows as AW does. AW has so many people they
<v Speaker 1>don't even know what to do with all of them.
<v Speaker 1>I think the Callous Family alone has a bigger roster
<v Speaker 1>than all of Monday Night all. But like if that
<v Speaker 1>was happening with Hayman again, it would be ridiculous there too,
<v Speaker 1>because you just keep adding and adding and adding, and
<v Speaker 1>it's like, what's the point of this. You're watering down
<v Speaker 1>the entire group by doing that, And that's the problem
<v Speaker 1>you run into with a group like this. You can't
<v Speaker 1>even keep track of who's part of it. I guess
<v Speaker 1>that's kind of similar to Bullet Club in a way,
<v Speaker 1>where they just kept adding members to Bullet Club or
<v Speaker 1>the nWo back in the day. But this, it's just
<v Speaker 1>it's comically absurd. It's like they have some sort of
<v Speaker 1>addiction and they need help, they need treatment, out of control.
<v Speaker 1>Stop adding members, focus on the ones that you have. Please.
<v Speaker 1>But when I mentioned like Fletcher and Okada or even
<v Speaker 1>Takeshta when he was part of the group, That's why
<v Speaker 1>I say like, I'm not worried about Kevin Knight just
<v Speaker 1>because he joined the Kallus family, because he'll be fine.
<v Speaker 1>Just like those guys were fine, and those guys benefited
<v Speaker 1>from being a part of it, he will too, So
<v Speaker 1>I'm not worried about that. I had one person like
<v Speaker 1>during the show was like, oh, why not the Hurt Syndicate, Well,
<v Speaker 1>that really would make a lot of sense, the Hurt
<v Speaker 1>Syndicate or Babyfaces now, so he can't join the Hurt
<v Speaker 1>Syndicate because he's a fucking heel. If they wanted him
<v Speaker 1>to join a group, this is the one to join.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just he didn't need it, is what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 1>It's not something that was needed, but this is what
<v Speaker 1>they chose to do that. Kevin Knight was in action
<v Speaker 1>defending his TNT championship against speedball Mike Bailey. Doyle gets
<v Speaker 1>pissed at Davis. Are they teeming Brian Cage and Jake Doyle?
<v Speaker 1>Now I saw something about that? Are they now tag
<v Speaker 1>team partners? I guess Davis and Doyle? Davis and Doyle
<v Speaker 1>is dead. Davis is the national champion, He's having success
<v Speaker 1>as a single, so he doesn't need Doyle but I
<v Speaker 1>thought I saw something where Brian Cage was now teaming
<v Speaker 1>with Doyle. Cage and Doyle doesn't really have the same
<v Speaker 1>ring to it like Davis and Doyle had a ring
<v Speaker 1>to it, Cage and Doyle not so much. They teamed
<v Speaker 1>on Collision already. Yeah, well maybe that'll be a new
<v Speaker 1>team night connected with a huge springboard lariat from the
<v Speaker 1>ring out to the floor. Right as Justin Roberts interrupted
<v Speaker 1>the crowd pop with a ten minute time call. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not blaming him, obviously, Tony conn or somebody is in
<v Speaker 1>his ear telling him, okay, ten minutes announced ten minutes,
<v Speaker 1>and so he announces it. Can we at least wait
<v Speaker 1>a few more seconds instead of killing the fucking crowd
<v Speaker 1>pop by making these announcements Like the crowd reacted. In
<v Speaker 1>the middle of their reaction, Justin comes on the mic,
<v Speaker 1>and so everybody quiets down to listen to what he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna say. Can we just like give it a few
<v Speaker 1>more seconds before we interrupted? Later on, Bailey wanted a
<v Speaker 1>flamingo driver Jake Doyle. He distracted Rick Knox, which is
<v Speaker 1>not hard to do, but he distracted him long enough
<v Speaker 1>for Don Kallis to sweet Bailey's legs, he got crotched,
<v Speaker 1>and then we got a scary spot off the top
<v Speaker 1>rope here and I have no idea what they were
<v Speaker 1>trying to do. I'm gonna have to go back and
<v Speaker 1>watch this part again. It ended horribly with Bailey being
<v Speaker 1>bent in half on a back bump down to the
<v Speaker 1>mat like a spinebuster, and I don't know if maybe
<v Speaker 1>that was the intent, but it just came off very
<v Speaker 1>rough on the landing. I mean, at least he needn't
<v Speaker 1>land on his head. And then Night followed quickly with
<v Speaker 1>a urinagi for the win, which I will say kind
<v Speaker 1>of anti climactic unless he's just you know, he's like, hey,
<v Speaker 1>work for the rock, so I guess it'll work for
<v Speaker 1>me too. But he beat him with a rock bottom,
<v Speaker 1>I guess. I'm so. I'm so desensitized to like what
<v Speaker 1>we see as a finish in so many of these
<v Speaker 1>aw matches, even Kevin Knight matches like the UFO splash
<v Speaker 1>is a spectacular finish. I don't know if they're going
<v Speaker 1>to kind of tone that down because it's more of
<v Speaker 1>a babyface move, and this is them moving away from
<v Speaker 1>that to give him something different, which is not like
<v Speaker 1>a terrible idea, But when I saw him beat Bailey
<v Speaker 1>with that, I'm like, it's kind of anti climactic. Up
<v Speaker 1>until that point though, they were having a very good match,
<v Speaker 1>and after the match, Knight took the mic. He said
<v Speaker 1>all he had to do was get rid of the
<v Speaker 1>dead weight and link up with Don Perone. I see
<v Speaker 1>what you did there some Don Perignon in his quest
<v Speaker 1>to become Jet two belts, and so he called out
<v Speaker 1>MJF and he told them, I'm waiting on you get
<v Speaker 1>in line. So is everybody else. Apparently that's what happens
<v Speaker 1>when you're the champion. Everybody wants the belt. This week's

<v Speaker 1>Finley and Clark Conners, who gloated about taking out Adam
<v Speaker 1>Copeland and Christian Cage last week. They had kazoos and
<v Speaker 1>they did their own five second pos. The Young Bucks
<v Speaker 1>showed up and apparently the Young Bucks were streaming earlier today,
<v Speaker 1>like right before Dynamite. I guess from backstage at Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>they were streaming on YouTube. They haven't streamed on YouTube
<v Speaker 1>in years. I don't know if they started streaming for
<v Speaker 1>any particular reason, but evidently people started donating a lot.
<v Speaker 1>It turned into like this big donation drive for you know,
<v Speaker 1>als and and everything. So that's what they were doing
<v Speaker 1>before the show. So they interrupt the segment here and
<v Speaker 1>Nick Jackson goes who let the dogs out? Nick Jackson
<v Speaker 1>doing his best sidrow impersonation. Matt said the dogs were
<v Speaker 1>new guys trying to make an impression. They probably thought
<v Speaker 1>that they were next in line for the tag team titles,
<v Speaker 1>but he didn't see them going to Bullet Club's worst
<v Speaker 1>ever leader and his partner, TMU Hangman. Matt said that
<v Speaker 1>he and Nick consider themselves the number one contenders because
<v Speaker 1>they just beat these guys at Stadium Stampede. But if
<v Speaker 1>you want to, we're willing to grab our gear and
<v Speaker 1>we can settle this tonight. And Finley said the number
<v Speaker 1>one contenders they will wrestle when they feel like. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>the shirts they were wearing were not great. I forgot
<v Speaker 1>what they said. They were sporting these new T shirts
<v Speaker 1>the dogs were. I don't suspect they're going to be
<v Speaker 1>selling very well. Renee was talking to MJF, who was
<v Speaker 1>in an ice bath in the back, and she brought
<v Speaker 1>up all this, all the hooplah around these recent opponents
<v Speaker 1>that have stepped forward to challenge him for his championship,
<v Speaker 1>and he said, no match for Mark Briscoe, because my
<v Speaker 1>world title is for winners and top guys like me.
<v Speaker 1>Brisco is not. So for the last and final time,
<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe stopped asking because it is not happening. See,
<v Speaker 1>so we got a few weeks before no becomes yes.
<v Speaker 1>That probably will be the Forbidden Door match. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean the last match they had was tables and tacks,
<v Speaker 1>So where do you go from there? Do you go
<v Speaker 1>from tables and tax to just a straight wrestling match?
<v Speaker 1>This feels like a grudge match, you know what I mean?
<v Speaker 1>Like this this should be the big blowoff to their feud.
<v Speaker 1>So it almost has to have some sort of stipulation.
<v Speaker 1>You would think we've already seen MJF this year in
<v Speaker 1>Texas Death. What else? What else can they do? Like
<v Speaker 1>a cage match? I mean, how do you not have
<v Speaker 1>some sort of stipulation after you're coming off of tables
<v Speaker 1>and tax match? Last year we had Alex windsor up next,
<v Speaker 1>she was facing a wild card in the Owenhart Foundation Tournament.
<v Speaker 1>Willow Nightingale out the Mystery Woman in and it was
<v Speaker 1>indeed the return of the CEO. Mercedes Monet is back.
<v Speaker 1>This was her first match all year in aw Well,
<v Speaker 1>I guess we know who's winning this thing now, don't we?
<v Speaker 1>Seems pretty clear. She came out and she had Piro
<v Speaker 1>and it sounded to me like she had new music.
<v Speaker 1>And look, people can shit on this or shit on
<v Speaker 1>her all they want. Don't get excited, Vince. People can
<v Speaker 1>shit on her all they want to. Reality is that's
<v Speaker 1>a big name for them to get back in the division.
<v Speaker 1>And Mercedes goes out there and she has very good
<v Speaker 1>matches and so this will be no different. Tonight was
<v Speaker 1>no different. These two went out there and had a
<v Speaker 1>good match, and I'm sure in the next round it
<v Speaker 1>will be no different. And in the finals, if we
<v Speaker 1>get the final, I think we're gonna get which is
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes in Athena. That's going to be an excellent match.
<v Speaker 1>This is what she does. She goes out there and
<v Speaker 1>she has great matches. If she goes on to Wembley
<v Speaker 1>and wrestles Tekla, that will be a great match that
<v Speaker 1>will be a first time ever match that we have
<v Speaker 1>not seen before. Now. I can't say she was acting
<v Speaker 1>too differently here because she would always come out and
<v Speaker 1>you know, kind of gloat and just act very heelish.
<v Speaker 1>She was kind of acting the way that she would
<v Speaker 1>normally act. She wasn't behaving any differently. She got more
<v Speaker 1>of a babyface response. People weren't booing her or anything
<v Speaker 1>like that come out. I thought she got a decent response.
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't anything you know, blow away. When they initially
<v Speaker 1>hit the music and they put Mercedes Monet on the screens,
<v Speaker 1>she kind of got a pop and then after that
<v Speaker 1>it was like it was okay. But yeah, as far
<v Speaker 1>as how she was behaving or like acting during the match,
<v Speaker 1>no different than usual. So there is history I should
<v Speaker 1>say between these two women. This was there. I want
<v Speaker 1>to say third match. Mercedes beat her in their first meeting.
<v Speaker 1>Their last meeting was on Collision last year, and that
<v Speaker 1>was the match where Windsor beat her to win the
<v Speaker 1>Rev Pro British Women's Championship. So the last time they met,
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes lost to this woman, so she was not losing
<v Speaker 1>to this woman here in this match. There was a
<v Speaker 1>three Amigos spot from Mercedes. She had done it successfully
<v Speaker 1>the first time. Second time around, though, Windsor spun out
<v Speaker 1>into a Maiden Japan for a near fall, and Mercedes
<v Speaker 1>she tucked her head like with the maid in Japan,
<v Speaker 1>you kind of go up and then on the way
<v Speaker 1>down you tuck your head and you get dropped. She
<v Speaker 1>went up and then she basically did the move herself
<v Speaker 1>before Alex did anything. So she tucked her head and
<v Speaker 1>she went down, and then Windsor followed. It was like
<v Speaker 1>a second delay, so that didn't look too great, but
<v Speaker 1>we got a running sunset bomb into the corner from Mercedes.
<v Speaker 1>She missed the meteora, though both women traded pen attempts.
<v Speaker 1>Monette hit a backstabber, she got a statement maker applied,
<v Speaker 1>and Windsor tapped out to give Mercedes to the wind
<v Speaker 1>in what I thought was a good match. It's a
<v Speaker 1>good match here between these two. After the match, she
<v Speaker 1>celebrated with I don't know if it was I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if there's more than one and she still has hers,
<v Speaker 1>or if they kind of take the same one and
<v Speaker 1>that's the one that was sitting on the little pedestal there,
<v Speaker 1>but they have the owen Hart. The pink owen Heart
<v Speaker 1>belt sitting there and she took it. I think she
<v Speaker 1>took the one that was sitting there and she was
<v Speaker 1>posing with it and she took it with her. So
<v Speaker 1>I mean, technically she is still currently the women's owen
<v Speaker 1>Hart champion from last year. She's the defending champion, except
<v Speaker 1>you don't defend it, so that's not the right word.
<v Speaker 1>She's the reigning owen Hart Foundation champion. So anyway, she
<v Speaker 1>danced all the way to the back with the belt
<v Speaker 1>and she's looking to be the first woman to go
<v Speaker 1>back to back. She won it last year. Nobody else
<v Speaker 1>has gone back to back yet she's looking to become
<v Speaker 1>the first this year. Seems pretty clear to me that
<v Speaker 1>she's probably going to be the first person to do so,
<v Speaker 1>because I was thinking Persephone, and then as soon as
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes came out, all that went out the window. She
<v Speaker 1>would be facing Persephone in the next round. If Persephone
<v Speaker 1>can beat Hazuki this weekend, and I fully expect that
<v Speaker 1>that's going to be the match Mercedes in Persephone, and
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes is going to win, and Mercedes to go to
<v Speaker 1>the finals. I mean, there's no way she doesn't at
<v Speaker 1>least go to the finals, right, They're gonna want her
<v Speaker 1>in that match at Forbidden Door. They have a pay
<v Speaker 1>per view to promote. So if you got Mercedes in
<v Speaker 1>this tournament, Mercedes is going to Forbidden Door. She's probably
<v Speaker 1>going to Wembley Stadium as well. And so yes, it
<v Speaker 1>seems very obvious now who the winners of these tournaments
<v Speaker 1>are going to be. But I think those are the
<v Speaker 1>correct winners. Like will Osprey is absolutely the correct winner
<v Speaker 1>on the men's side and on the women's side. Here
<v Speaker 1>it should be Mercedes. Sorry if you disagree or if
<v Speaker 1>you're not a Mercedes fan, but just you know, you
<v Speaker 1>gotta be honest about it when you look at who's
<v Speaker 1>left in this tournament and you're looking for the biggest
<v Speaker 1>possible match that you could do on that Forbidden Door
<v Speaker 1>show if were not Forbidden Door, but on the Wembley
<v Speaker 1>card in August. If we assume that Tecla is going
<v Speaker 1>into Wembley as the champion, Tecla and Mercedes is a
<v Speaker 1>match that has not been done. If the story is
<v Speaker 1>that Mercedes lost all of her belts and it kind
<v Speaker 1>of humbled her, right, She's got a taste of humble
<v Speaker 1>pie and Now she's trying to win the championship that
<v Speaker 1>she's tried unsuccessfully twice now to win and she has
<v Speaker 1>not been able to do it. But she hit rock bottom,
<v Speaker 1>she lost all of her belts. Now she's trying to
<v Speaker 1>work her way back up. She's got to win this tournament.
<v Speaker 1>That's the story. Athena against Tecla would be a fun match,
<v Speaker 1>but it doesn't make any sense because it's heel on heel.
<v Speaker 1>They're not gonna want to do that at Wembley. So
<v Speaker 1>the other options here are not nearly as attractive. Like
<v Speaker 1>if you're a promoter, if you're Tony Kahan, you're looking
<v Speaker 1>at this, why would you do it any other way
<v Speaker 1>other than sending Mercedes to the finals. It wouldn't even
<v Speaker 1>make any sense. And then from the finals she wins
<v Speaker 1>and she goes on to London. That's the way it's
<v Speaker 1>gonna play out. I don't have an issue with that.
<v Speaker 1>But as soon as she danced on out, that was it.
<v Speaker 1>You know, the tournament was over. But I am looking
<v Speaker 1>forward to Mercedes and Athena, though that better be the final.
<v Speaker 1>I enjoyed their first match on Dynamite, the chance to
<v Speaker 1>send them out there on a pay per view and
<v Speaker 1>give them more time. You know they're gonna get time.
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes is the first woman in the history of this
<v Speaker 1>company who got twenty plus minutes for a pay per
<v Speaker 1>view match. Send Athena and Mercedes out there for twenty
<v Speaker 1>to twenty five minutes sounds good to me. Jasta is
<v Speaker 1>convinced that Athena is winning the Owen. Why because Mercedes
<v Speaker 1>beat her the first time? MM, I don't know. I mean, look, hey,
<v Speaker 1>if they want to send Athena, I'm not gonna I'm
<v Speaker 1>not gonna hate on it. But I don't see it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see it. And they spoke with Don Kallus
<v Speaker 1>and kazuska Oka case in point. This fucking guy's everywhere.
<v Speaker 1>He's all over these shows. This is my point. If
<v Speaker 1>you're in the Callus family, you can bet on one
<v Speaker 1>thing if nothing else, well, two things. Number One, you're
<v Speaker 1>not gonna have to worry about like not getting TV time. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>we saw them here, we saw them again in the
<v Speaker 1>main event. That's number one. Number Two, you can bet
<v Speaker 1>that you don't want to be standing within five feet
<v Speaker 1>of Don Kallas or you may get hit in the
<v Speaker 1>face by his teeth. Those are the two things now
<v Speaker 1>that we know. But she spoke with Don Callus and Okada,
<v Speaker 1>and Callous put over Kevin Knight joining the family, and
<v Speaker 1>he predicted Mark Davis would beat Will Osbury in the
<v Speaker 1>main event. He said Okada was screwed and they won't
<v Speaker 1>stand for it. And Okada said that Kenoski Takesha is
<v Speaker 1>nothing without the family. He said, Takeshta won't have the
<v Speaker 1>International Championship in a backpack for very long. Then we
<v Speaker 1>showed some highlights here from last Wednesday. After Chris Jericho
<v Speaker 1>beat Ricochet, he was attacked by Tomaso Champa and then
<v Speaker 1>on collision, Champa pulled a page out of the Jericho
<v Speaker 1>playbook from many years ago, and he read from his
<v Speaker 1>list of one thousand and four reasons why he hates Jericho.
<v Speaker 1>So now we're live in the back and Champa wonders
<v Speaker 1>where Jericho could be. Maybe he's afraid to come back
<v Speaker 1>because Champa will beat his ass again. Champa has marked
<v Speaker 1>his territory and he advises that Jericho stay away, and
<v Speaker 1>if he does return, Champa might just strike first. You
<v Speaker 1>stupid idiot boy. He's just pulling out all the old
<v Speaker 1>Jericho gimmicks here I'm surprised he didn't have the list
<v Speaker 1>in his hand elsewhere on this show. Here it was
<v Speaker 1>time for the main event, and it was Will Osprey
<v Speaker 1>going one on one with his former friend Mark Davis
<v Speaker 1>in a semi final match in the owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
<v Speaker 1>Osprey beat Samoa Joe. Mark Davis beat Jack Perry last
<v Speaker 1>week in the main event. That is how we ended
<v Speaker 1>up here. Davis beat Osprey back in April on this
<v Speaker 1>show by ref stoppage. So for that reason alone, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you had to know there was only one way this
<v Speaker 1>match could possibly go. But this was also the second
<v Speaker 1>straight down to mite with a Mark Davis main event.
<v Speaker 1>Like I said before, I'm here for it. Mark Davis.
<v Speaker 1>He's taking full advantage of the opportunity that's been given
<v Speaker 1>to him. It actually looks like he slimmed down a
<v Speaker 1>little bit too, still a big guy, but you know
<v Speaker 1>he's he's taking advantage and making the most of the
<v Speaker 1>time that he is given. He's been getting a lot
<v Speaker 1>of time lately, and he doesn't win all the time.
<v Speaker 1>He's winning more now than he was previously, but he's
<v Speaker 1>just making the most of his as they say, he's
<v Speaker 1>maximizing his minutes, and I've been very much enjoying the
<v Speaker 1>matches that he's been a part of now. Late in
<v Speaker 1>this match, Davis set up for a pile driver on
<v Speaker 1>the apron. Osprey countered with a herd Carona that sent
<v Speaker 1>both men to the floor. Back inside, Osprey got a
<v Speaker 1>styles clash only for a near fall. Davis avoided an oscutter,
<v Speaker 1>and then he threw a kick that Osprey avoided, but
<v Speaker 1>it took out the referee. Down goes Paul Turner, so
<v Speaker 1>we got the ref bump. Ospray hit the oscutter, he
<v Speaker 1>got a visual pin. There's no referee and this is
<v Speaker 1>where all of the overbooking I mentioned earlier came into play,
<v Speaker 1>because we had a really good wrestling match up until
<v Speaker 1>this point. And then chaos broke loose Trent Burretta and
<v Speaker 1>El Clone. They run to the ring, they attack Ospray.
<v Speaker 1>Here comes Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuda of the Death
<v Speaker 1>Riders to back Ospray up. They cleared the heels from
<v Speaker 1>the ring. Lance Archer shows up and he took a
<v Speaker 1>Wheeler Yuda and Will Ospry. Claudio runs in. He hits
<v Speaker 1>a springboard uppercut to take out Archer. Brian Cage gets
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, he takes out Claudia with an F five.
<v Speaker 1>Pack gets in the ring. He takes out Brian Cage.
<v Speaker 1>Osprey then puts Davis down again. He covers him and
<v Speaker 1>Pack throws the referee back inside and before the referee
<v Speaker 1>could even count three, Jake Doyle is here and Doyle
<v Speaker 1>pulls the referee back out to the floor. See he
<v Speaker 1>gets in the ring. Marina Shaffir now jumps on Doyle's back.
<v Speaker 1>She's gonna try to stop him, and Doyle just kind
<v Speaker 1>of flings her over his head and she crashes to
<v Speaker 1>the mat. John Moxley comes out from behind and he
<v Speaker 1>puts Doyle down with a paradigm shift. He pops right
<v Speaker 1>back up though, selling it like he's all wobbly, uh.
<v Speaker 1>And he's backed up against the ropes so that Moxley
<v Speaker 1>and Marina Shaffir could do a double clothes line, and
<v Speaker 1>all three of them end up going ass over tea kettle,
<v Speaker 1>over the top rope and out to the floor. Now
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher shows up and he gets in on the
<v Speaker 1>party and he puts Ospray down with a half and
<v Speaker 1>half and then he pulls out the dreaded screwdriver, the
<v Speaker 1>dreaded Neon screwdriver, but Canoskate takeshta. He arrives, he pulls
<v Speaker 1>them to the floor, and so they're going at it.
<v Speaker 1>Davis picks up the screwdriver. He's going to use it.
<v Speaker 1>Ospray and by the way, in all of this, I
<v Speaker 1>think it was pack was a pack. It was pack.
<v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure who did a big moon salt off
<v Speaker 1>the top rope onto the pile outside, took everybody out.
<v Speaker 1>It was all kinds of chaos going on here. And
<v Speaker 1>so in the ring, Davis has the screwdriver, so he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna use it. But before he can, Osprey hits him
<v Speaker 1>with a hidden blade to the arm to knock the
<v Speaker 1>screwdriver out of his hand. And then he hits a
<v Speaker 1>proper hidden blade and he covers him, but there's no referee.
<v Speaker 1>A second referee runs in. I want to say it
<v Speaker 1>was Bryce. He counts. Davis kicks out. Now I'm laughing.
<v Speaker 1>Now I'm watching this and I'm like, what the fuck
<v Speaker 1>is going on here? So he kicks out Davis. He
<v Speaker 1>ducked a hidden blade to the back of the head.
<v Speaker 1>By just ducking out of the way. He put Osprey
<v Speaker 1>down with this great stuff pile driver. I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>just it looked fantastic to the point where I was
<v Speaker 1>I was upset because it really should have ended the match.
<v Speaker 1>But you'd have to be an idiot to think that
<v Speaker 1>Mark Davis was gonna win this match, Like you knew
<v Speaker 1>he wasn't winning. I almost wish he didn't hit the
<v Speaker 1>move because I just hate the fact that Osprey kicked
<v Speaker 1>out of this. This was like a couple of kickouts
<v Speaker 1>too much here, but the perfect pile driver to a
<v Speaker 1>guy with a bad neck who's been doing almost nothing
<v Speaker 1>but selling his neck now for weeks, and he fucking
<v Speaker 1>kicks out. He kicked out of the pile driver. Davis
<v Speaker 1>ran the ropes, he was going to go for a
<v Speaker 1>Larry at Osprey. He transitioned though into this new death
<v Speaker 1>ground arm bar finish that he's been using and he
<v Speaker 1>got the quick submission for the win at the twenty
<v Speaker 1>three minute mark. Holy shit, what a match that this
<v Speaker 1>turned into. Here, they were having a great wrestling match
<v Speaker 1>before all of the interference, and then all of the
<v Speaker 1>interference came and it's back and forth. Callous Family, death Riders,
<v Speaker 1>Death Riders, Callous Family, and they're just fighting each other off.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody gets wiped out outside and again all the near
<v Speaker 1>falls and the big moves, and you think it's over
<v Speaker 1>and then they kick out and the people losing their
<v Speaker 1>minds over this. And so it worked, you know what
<v Speaker 1>they did. They were trying to get the crowd all
<v Speaker 1>amped up and all fired up. They were into it.
<v Speaker 1>It worked and Osprey got the win and everybody celebrated.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody was so happy that Osprey is moving on now
<v Speaker 1>to the finals of this tournament. So was it overbooked,
<v Speaker 1>You bet you as it was overbooked. But I loved it.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that this match was was great. It was
<v Speaker 1>a lot of fun. As long as they don't make
<v Speaker 1>a habit out of doing this sort of thing. There
<v Speaker 1>are just some situations where you'll do this sometimes and
<v Speaker 1>it works. I think one of the reasons why it
<v Speaker 1>worked here for me. Anyway, we don't see this kind
<v Speaker 1>of finish in aw all the time, like the severe
<v Speaker 1>overbooking like they did tonight. We don't see this all
<v Speaker 1>the time here. Does the Kallus family get involved in
<v Speaker 1>every fucking match pretty much? Yeah, But like what we
<v Speaker 1>saw here was something very different than what we're accustomed
<v Speaker 1>to seeing. You know, many times we'll have a clean match,
<v Speaker 1>there'll be a bunch of deer falls and a bunch
<v Speaker 1>of kickouts, but we don't have fifteen people and two
<v Speaker 1>ref bumps, and you know, like all of this shit
<v Speaker 1>going on, you gotta just save it for the right situation.
<v Speaker 1>And I thought, here it worked and it ended up
<v Speaker 1>being a lot of fun. We also got a fifteen
<v Speaker 1>minute overrun. By the way, I don't know if we
<v Speaker 1>needed an extra fifteen minutes for this, but they gave
<v Speaker 1>them a lot of time. Again, the match went twenty
<v Speaker 1>three minutes. Now, as far as the Owen Tournament is concerned,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be Ospray and Swerve. We're gonna get Swerve
<v Speaker 1>and Brody King next week. Swarve's gonna win, and so
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna get the rematch, you know, only this time
<v Speaker 1>the roles are a little bit different than they were previously,
<v Speaker 1>because this time, instead of having two babyfaces, we have
<v Speaker 1>a babyface and we have a heel and Osprey is
<v Speaker 1>gonna get his win back from two years ago, and
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be a hell of a fucking match. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>think about the potential finals that have now been set
<v Speaker 1>up for these two tournaments at Forbidden Door, Ospray and Swerve,
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes and Athena. Just those two matches alone very strong,
<v Speaker 1>and that's not counting whoever MJF defends against, probably Mark Brisco.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if Kenny Omega is gonna have a
<v Speaker 1>match on the show. I don't know if they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have Fletcher and Takeshta on that show for the international title,
<v Speaker 1>but obviously that's where we're headed there. So yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>mean there's a lot of great matches that they could
<v Speaker 1>have on that card, but those two finals that I
<v Speaker 1>think were shaping up to see very very strong, which
<v Speaker 1>is what I thought the show tonight was. I had
<v Speaker 1>a lot of fun watching this show. Just had a
<v Speaker 1>certain energy and a certain vibe to it. You know,
<v Speaker 1>in the building, we got a lot of great wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>crazy ending there, Mercedes, she's finally back after all these
<v Speaker 1>months of you know, being on the sidelines. It just
<v Speaker 1>felt like there was a lot going on here. And
<v Speaker 1>that Mark Brisco promo very very strong promo. So I
<v Speaker 1>give the show tonight two thumbs up. I thought it
<v Speaker 1>was a very strong show. I think a look at
<v Speaker 1>your super chats and then we got ourselves around of
<v Speaker 1>be the booker to do because we blew past the
<v Speaker 1>likes tonight. I always like to see here on a Wednesday. Hey, Chezza,
<v Speaker 1>Good morning, Cheza. Ended like the SmackDown before Survivor series
<v Speaker 1>during the Invasion. Yes, that was, although there were far
<v Speaker 1>more people running in here than even there. Actually that's
<v Speaker 1>the ending I'm thinking about. That's still to this day,
<v Speaker 1>the greatest ending I think in SmackDown history, right with
<v Speaker 1>Austin Rock Taker, Kane, Kurt Jericho, Big Show, I think,
<v Speaker 1>right everybody running in Shane. Hey, Joseph Stewart, Happy Wednesday, brother,
<v Speaker 1>He's going to Masters the Universe tomorrow. He's very excited. Well,
<v Speaker 1>have fun. I got my tickets for Friday. So on
<v Speaker 1>that note, I'm actually glad you brought that up. Originally,
<v Speaker 1>what I was gonna do was for SmackDown, which is
<v Speaker 1>in Italy. I was gonna do what I did for
<v Speaker 1>Raw this week, which is go live around eight. We're
<v Speaker 1>gonna push that back on Friday. I don't know that
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna go live at eleven thirty, probably though, somewhere
<v Speaker 1>in that ten or eleven range, and we'll just play
<v Speaker 1>by year. I'll keep you guys posted I can't. I
<v Speaker 1>was hoping to see Masters of the Universe tomorrow, but
<v Speaker 1>since I can't drive, I'm not allowed to drive after
<v Speaker 1>the procedure, so I'm gonna go on Friday. I got
<v Speaker 1>my tickets for Friday afternoon, so I'll be watching that
<v Speaker 1>and then I can catch up with SmackDown later and
<v Speaker 1>then we'll go live. And I think it's gonna work
<v Speaker 1>out better because it's Game two Nixon Spurs. Game two
<v Speaker 1>is on Friday, and I really would rather not compete
<v Speaker 1>at least with the beginning of the game. If I
<v Speaker 1>go live closer to like ten ten thirty, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>the game probably won't be over, but I'd rather not
<v Speaker 1>compete directly with the game when it starts. So I
<v Speaker 1>think it'll all work out for the better this way.
<v Speaker 1>But anyway, enjoy the movie. Enjoy the movie, and from
<v Speaker 1>what I understand, make sure you stay for the credits
<v Speaker 1>is what I've been told. Don't leave until the credits
<v Speaker 1>are done. Just FYI, he says, I'm watching the Dolph
<v Speaker 1>Lungren Masters of the Universe movie right now to prepare
<v Speaker 1>for the new one. See, I don't know if I
<v Speaker 1>want to do that, then I just feel like I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna be comparing the two. Do you think the rock
<v Speaker 1>is the greatest wrestler to ever sing to ever sing?
<v Speaker 1>No says I'll be going to see Batman Forever in
<v Speaker 1>theaters this month for the anniversary of the movie. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't even realize it was the anniversary. And I don't
<v Speaker 1>have a I don't have a favorite Chris O'Donnell's scene either,
<v Speaker 1>or Nicole Kidman. I just like the fact that she
<v Speaker 1>was in the movie because I had a thing for
<v Speaker 1>Nicole Kidman back then. She was quite the looker. Did
<v Speaker 1>I play the Batman Forever arcade video game? It's very good,
<v Speaker 1>you could play, and I never played, no that one.
<v Speaker 1>I never think I ever did I remember ever playing
<v Speaker 1>that one? Buyer sell Billy D. Williams as Harvey Dent
<v Speaker 1>or Tommy Lee Jones's two Face Tommy Lee Jones can't
<v Speaker 1>vote against my guy, Tommy I didn't kill my wife.
<v Speaker 1>I don't care which wrestler do you think could play
<v Speaker 1>Harvey Dent and two Face? Which wrestler? I wouldn't have
<v Speaker 1>any wrestler playing Harvey Denter chude. I'd get a real,
<v Speaker 1>real good actor to play him. No current wrestlers that
<v Speaker 1>I could think of, But the best wrestler turned actor
<v Speaker 1>is Batista, So maybe Dave Batista could kind of slide
<v Speaker 1>right in there. I don't think that's the right role
<v Speaker 1>for him, though. He's probably more like more of a
<v Speaker 1>bane guy. Although he's lost a lot of mass. He
<v Speaker 1>is smaller now than he used to be. Have you
<v Speaker 1>seen the trailer to the Wolverine video game? I have not.
<v Speaker 1>The Spider Noirsia. It was really good with Nicholas Cage.
<v Speaker 1>Interesting you're a fan of the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. I
<v Speaker 1>believe I listened to it. I don't know that. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not really a fan of it, but I'm pretty sure
<v Speaker 1>I had listened to it many years ago. Uh do
<v Speaker 1>you know the song from You Two, hold Me, kiss Me,
<v Speaker 1>Thrill Me. It is on the Batman Forever soundtrack. It's
<v Speaker 1>in the closing credits of Batman Forever. No. When I
<v Speaker 1>think of you Too, I think of Triple h A's
<v Speaker 1>return in two thousand and two, and I think of
<v Speaker 1>Beautiful Day. It's the first thing that always pops into
<v Speaker 1>my head. Was I a fan of Drew Barry? Uh No,
<v Speaker 1>not really, not in that role. Dominic Mysterio for Money
<v Speaker 1>in the Bank twenty twenty six. No, did you know
<v Speaker 1>that Michael Keaton was going to return his Beetlejuice in
<v Speaker 1>the early nineteen nineties in the original Beetlejuice sequel called
<v Speaker 1>Beetlejuice Goes to Hawaii. I thought it was I thought
<v Speaker 1>it was called the Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian. That's a real thing.
<v Speaker 1>By the way they were gonna make it. I think
<v Speaker 1>there was a script, and I think the studio ended
<v Speaker 1>up passing on it because they felt like some of
<v Speaker 1>the characters were like aged out. It was some rationale
<v Speaker 1>like that. It just sounds like a terrible idea though,
<v Speaker 1>like Beetlejuice Goes to Hawaii or something. It just doesn't
<v Speaker 1>sound good. What are your favorite songs from the pulp
<v Speaker 1>fiction soundtrack? Honestly, the only one I even remember from
<v Speaker 1>that soundtrack was a jungle boogie by Cool in the Gang.
<v Speaker 1>Still remember that favorite pizza restaurant. I don't eat pizza anymore,
<v Speaker 1>but I used to be a big fan of Pizza Hut.
<v Speaker 1>They had those little personal pan pizzas. I've never eaten Dominoes,
<v Speaker 1>so't I can't speak to Dominoes. It's your favorite store
<v Speaker 1>to buy what is your favorite store to buy movies,
<v Speaker 1>music and books. It's called Amazon Movies and Music. It
<v Speaker 1>used to be a place called Fye. I don't even
<v Speaker 1>know if it exists anymore. Now it's called Amazon, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't even have to leave my house. As my
<v Speaker 1>cousin told me, he saw Jack Perry, Anna Jay and
<v Speaker 1>Lucasaurus last week and saw the Jurassic Express bus as well. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I told that story about somebody and they actually posted
<v Speaker 1>a photo. They were driving on the highway. It was
<v Speaker 1>in New York and there's like around double or nothing
<v Speaker 1>weak and there's that fucking Jurassic Express bus on the
<v Speaker 1>express wire or something. Anyway, thank you. Joseph Olivia says
<v Speaker 1>MJF against Omega against Osprey at all in is there
<v Speaker 1>a chance? Yeah, yeah, there's a chance. I still think
<v Speaker 1>it'll be one on one, either MJF and Osprey or
<v Speaker 1>Omega and Osprey. But there's there's a chance. Sure, Uh,
<v Speaker 1>we got death Sithe says favorite horror movie weapon. It
<v Speaker 1>can be as simple as a butcher knife, or something
<v Speaker 1>as creative as a power drill, or even the environments themselves.
<v Speaker 1>There are no wrong answers, well, I mean, if we're
<v Speaker 1>talking about environments, then we have to go with Jason X.
<v Speaker 1>The liquid nitrogen kill in Jason X is my all
<v Speaker 1>time favorite. We're going with like a real horror movie weapon.
<v Speaker 1>I was never really a big nightmare on ELM Street
<v Speaker 1>Guy like I was Friday the thirteenth or Halloween. But
<v Speaker 1>we gotta go Freddy's Glove. How do you not go
<v Speaker 1>Freddy's Glove with the knives? Roadrunner says, I think we
<v Speaker 1>get MJF and Hangman at all in without there being
<v Speaker 1>any title at stake? Can you do Omega and Osprey?
<v Speaker 1>I could see that. I don't know what Moxley does.
<v Speaker 1>You know they're gonna have him in a big match.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. If not him and Kenny, then I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I don't know. I don't know what he does.
<v Speaker 1>H Dry Chicken says Leo Rush and Indy Navaretti should
<v Speaker 1>do a collaboration together. Both of them make this guy
<v Speaker 1>laugh when they say no. Indi Navaretty is fantastic, She's great,
<v Speaker 1>She's very cool. Death Side says, also, are you going
<v Speaker 1>to see Evil Dead Burn when it comes out on
<v Speaker 1>July tenth? Because I just saw the one shot seen
<v Speaker 1>teaser trailer and it looks really good. I have not
<v Speaker 1>seen that trailer and I don't have any plans to
<v Speaker 1>see it, so probably not. I never saw the Evil
<v Speaker 1>Dead series. Should I I know who ashes, I just
<v Speaker 1>never got into it. Ishmael says, I don't not want
<v Speaker 1>to see MJF against Briscoe at Forbidden Doors. So far,
<v Speaker 1>it's a I don't not want to. I think you
<v Speaker 1>mean I do not want to. That's a double negative there,
<v Speaker 1>that means you do want to see. It changes the
<v Speaker 1>whole meaning of the superchat. So far, it's a lackluster
<v Speaker 1>build for the pay per view. I'm attending the event
<v Speaker 1>and like there is barely any build with the outside talents.
<v Speaker 1>This is Yeah, well this is the problem with Forbidden Door.
<v Speaker 1>Every year there's certain talents who probably can't even show
<v Speaker 1>up on Dynamite right, they can't fly them in for
<v Speaker 1>whatever reason. They're going to build matches where people won't
<v Speaker 1>even be on the shows to really promote them. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I think Forbidden Door is a concept that kind of
<v Speaker 1>wore at its welcome a couple of years ago. You'll
<v Speaker 1>still have a bunch of great wrestling matches on there.
<v Speaker 1>But the whole concept of Forbidden Door is just it's
<v Speaker 1>very dated, but it still does well for AW. That's
<v Speaker 1>why Tony keeps doing it. And he's got the relationships
<v Speaker 1>with these different companies and so he wants to keep
<v Speaker 1>them happy and feature them on the show. And I
<v Speaker 1>get it. I get it, but forbidden Door is a
<v Speaker 1>concept is not necessary anymore. You know, the forbidden door
<v Speaker 1>was opened a long time ago, and the forbidden door
<v Speaker 1>opens every single week. You got wrestlers now with dual
<v Speaker 1>contracts who work for New Japan and AW for stardom
<v Speaker 1>in AW, or maybe not stardom but for CMLL and
<v Speaker 1>AW Persephanie being one of them. The Forbidden Door swings
<v Speaker 1>open every week. And then when you have the pay
<v Speaker 1>per view, yes, you end up with several matches that
<v Speaker 1>are just sort of slapped together for the sake of
<v Speaker 1>doing them. The best you could hope for is that
<v Speaker 1>some of the other AAW exclusive matches end up being
<v Speaker 1>strong enough to support the entire card. Still a pay
<v Speaker 1>per view that they expect you to buy MYAW that
<v Speaker 1>knew MYAW service. It's not a bad deal. It's really not,
<v Speaker 1>especially if you do buy the pay per views every
<v Speaker 1>single month, and they don't have them every single month,
<v Speaker 1>but they're up to like ten I think ten ten
<v Speaker 1>per year. If you go for the annual package there,
<v Speaker 1>it probably saves you some money. Mister Rod says Nixon six.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I said. We'll see if we're right. They're
<v Speaker 1>still undefeated. Uh oh oh he's back again. Oh no,
<v Speaker 1>Sola Monster's lost son. You know he showed up on
<v Speaker 1>TNT last night, always looking for a hand out. This
<v Speaker 1>guy says, Daddy, the Knicks win, we are going to
<v Speaker 1>Game three. No, we're not. I'm not going anywhere with you.
<v Speaker 1>And I told you to leave me alone, and I
<v Speaker 1>told you to tell your mother to leave me alone.
<v Speaker 1>Derek J. Speaks. I don't mind if they do MJF
<v Speaker 1>and Brisco at Forbidden Door. The real main event of
<v Speaker 1>that show is going to be Osprey and Swerve anyway,
<v Speaker 1>probably even to close with it. That's why I said,
<v Speaker 1>like it's shaping up with the two finals for the
<v Speaker 1>Owen tournaments, like those two matches alone are very strong
<v Speaker 1>selling points for the pay per view even though they
<v Speaker 1>have nothing to do with the Forbidden Door concept. They
<v Speaker 1>have nothing to do with the concept at all, But
<v Speaker 1>those are the two matches, I'm probably going to be
<v Speaker 1>looking forward to the most venom Kitetsu again read that
<v Speaker 1>super chat earlier. All the best to your dad. Thank you,
<v Speaker 1>brother San Juan Wolf with a nineteen ninety nine SUP solo.
<v Speaker 1>Aside from Fletcher Ta, Keshta and Kevin Knight, what other
<v Speaker 1>young talents do you see Tony Khan elevating to eventually
<v Speaker 1>reach the main event level PS spurs in seven. Well,
<v Speaker 1>that's where we're going to have to disagree. What other
<v Speaker 1>young talents do you see TK elevating to eventually reach
<v Speaker 1>main event level? I mean it's impossible to know who's
<v Speaker 1>going to reach main event level. Fletcher A. Knight seem
<v Speaker 1>like they're on their way. Takeshta should be on their way.
<v Speaker 1>Why not throw him in there? You know he's the
<v Speaker 1>international champion right now, but he could go higher than that.
<v Speaker 1>Great talent super popular. You know, I understand English is
<v Speaker 1>not his first language, but that shouldn't stop him from
<v Speaker 1>ascending to even high heights in the company at some point.
<v Speaker 1>You know, somebody to keep an eye out for. And
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned her name previously because we had her in
<v Speaker 1>House of Glory only once once or twice, but I
<v Speaker 1>remember when I was preparing at the time for some
<v Speaker 1>notes for her match, and I was looking up like
<v Speaker 1>her indie work and everything, and she was a wweid
<v Speaker 1>talent for a while. Is Zeta Steele. She's very young
<v Speaker 1>and still very new to the company, but she is
<v Speaker 1>for someone who is still so new to this and
<v Speaker 1>so young, she is super charismatic, super confident, carries herself
<v Speaker 1>with confidence, at least publicly, and I think she's someone
<v Speaker 1>who if she continues to learn and improve, like in
<v Speaker 1>ring on the female side. Again, it's way too early
<v Speaker 1>to say main eventor but she has the skill set
<v Speaker 1>I think to get there. She just carries herself like
<v Speaker 1>a star. So I might throw Zeta Steele in there
<v Speaker 1>as well as somebody to keep an eye out for.
<v Speaker 1>Yee says, just dropping into show some Wednesday love. Thank you, Yee.
<v Speaker 1>Bryant Finley with a five. What about a triple threat
<v Speaker 1>match in London with Osprey, Omega and MJF. There's a
<v Speaker 1>story with all three guys and it's a match that
<v Speaker 1>we haven't seen before. Yeah, I mean Tony doesn't really
<v Speaker 1>like doing three way matches, though, I feel like in
<v Speaker 1>a big Wembley main event he's gonna want it to
<v Speaker 1>be one on one. That's just how I feel you
<v Speaker 1>could do it. It would be a big match. It
<v Speaker 1>just doesn't seem like something that he would normally do
<v Speaker 1>Arabian Night. Unlike in WWE, where they use the same
<v Speaker 1>three or four older main eventors in the big programs,
<v Speaker 1>AW was pushing and investing in all their young guys.
<v Speaker 1>In those spots they use Y two, j Omega, Hurt, Syndicate,
<v Speaker 1>Cope and Cage in spurts. Yeah, I mean there's still
<v Speaker 1>some of them that Frankly I you know, could stand
<v Speaker 1>to see less of Jericho since he came back. Is
<v Speaker 1>kind of inoffensive. It's not like he's being shoved down
<v Speaker 1>our throats. I mean that's fine. Omega we barely see so.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if anything, we don't get enough of Kenny, Omega, Frankly, Hurt,
<v Speaker 1>synd A Kit We don't get enough of them either.
<v Speaker 1>It would be nice to see them a little more
<v Speaker 1>often on Dynamite, But they're definitely investing in some of
<v Speaker 1>these talents. Again, Kevin Knight is one that stands out,
<v Speaker 1>and Fletcher, and then there are some tag teams. You know,
<v Speaker 1>there's certain people that you you kind of wish you
<v Speaker 1>would see more of and maybe you're not seeing enough
<v Speaker 1>of them, or you see them on Collision, but you
<v Speaker 1>don't see him as much on Dynamite. Even Rush seeing
<v Speaker 1>us on Dynamite the last few weeks, it's like, why
<v Speaker 1>couldn't he be featured on the Wednesday show more frequently?
<v Speaker 1>Why is this just a recent phenomenon, you know, because
<v Speaker 1>there's only so much TV time to go around. Venom
<v Speaker 1>Ktetsu Kallus Family two thousand, two thousand being the number
<v Speaker 1>of members that they will eventually have, Bryant, Finley, Mercedes,
<v Speaker 1>and Bailey as Women's tag team champions in twenty twenty seven.
<v Speaker 1>I'm convinced that Bailey is Bailey is gonna go to
<v Speaker 1>AW at some point. I think she's gonna want to.
<v Speaker 1>I think she's gonna want to work with all the
<v Speaker 1>women they have, and not just Mercedes, but she's gonna
<v Speaker 1>want to work with all these new women, Statlanders and
<v Speaker 1>the haters, Tony Storm, and Bryant says they should sell
<v Speaker 1>a T shirt saying I'm a Mark d guy. I
<v Speaker 1>think it would sell. I don't know how well that
<v Speaker 1>would sell. I'm a Mark Davis guy, and I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>wear it, so I'm just being honest. We have k
<v Speaker 1>Rob k Rob reacts with a ten fye still exists.
<v Speaker 1>I bought the Golden Girls monopoly there in Springfield, Missouri,
<v Speaker 1>at the Battlefield Mall. There's a mall in Springfield called
<v Speaker 1>the Battlefield Mall. That's awesome. I wish we had that. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>some of the malls in New York feel like a
<v Speaker 1>battlefield when you try to navigate them. Paul Carpenter, I
<v Speaker 1>finally got the season seven, got two, Season seven right
<v Speaker 1>on the Shield, and that is a great show. Vic
<v Speaker 1>Mackie is a beast. Well, I'm glad it took you
<v Speaker 1>long enough to come around to this. I've only been
<v Speaker 1>singing the praises of the Shield for oh, I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>ten or twelve years now. It's one of my top
<v Speaker 1>three all time favorite shows. It's fucking great and it
<v Speaker 1>was very kind of cutting edge for its time. So
<v Speaker 1>it came out and season one did in two thousand
<v Speaker 1>and two, and it's just even the way it was filmed,
<v Speaker 1>you know, very gritty cop drama on FX about a
<v Speaker 1>team of cops out of a fictional a fictional police
<v Speaker 1>precinct out in California. It's based on or inspired by
<v Speaker 1>a true story. If you look it up, you know
<v Speaker 1>Crooked Cops. Basically really really good show. Devin from NJ
<v Speaker 1>buy er Cell doing TNT with jd or hosting Mob
<v Speaker 1>Movie Mondays with Joseph Stewart. Oh TNT all the way
<v Speaker 1>well now, says gonna have to watch a Dynamite next
<v Speaker 1>week to see serie. I hope she goes far in
<v Speaker 1>this year. Could have some fucking sick matches with anybody.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, she'll I mean maybe go as far as
<v Speaker 1>who's she wrestling. She's wrestling a skybullet. Well, she's going
<v Speaker 1>to at least the semis. I don't see her going
<v Speaker 1>beyond that though, hopefully she's healed up with her neck.
<v Speaker 1>Justin g just paying my sorry, I'm late tax. What's
<v Speaker 1>the goal? The goal was already smashed? Do you have
<v Speaker 1>to worry about that? The bonus goal is still going
<v Speaker 1>in the chat, but the goal was already met. And
<v Speaker 1>then we have Alex says is Triple H in danger
<v Speaker 1>of dropping the ball with Mariah May just one of
<v Speaker 1>those rare talents that should immediately be in the main
<v Speaker 1>events scene. She doesn't have to immediately be in the
<v Speaker 1>main events scene. You cannot say that he's dropped the
<v Speaker 1>ball with Mariah May when she literally has not even
<v Speaker 1>made a proper debut on TV yet. So let's pump
<v Speaker 1>the brakes. Let's pump the brakes and give her some time.
<v Speaker 1>She'll be okay. I trust that she'll be okay. She's
<v Speaker 1>very talented and she's very sexy, and those are two
<v Speaker 1>very good qualities to have that I think bode well
<v Speaker 1>for her success on the main roster. We just have
<v Speaker 1>to give it time for her to actually make a
<v Speaker 1>proper debut, which she still has not done yet. She's
<v Speaker 1>still coming. She has not yet come, but she's coming.
<v Speaker 1>She has not arrived yet. Officially, she kind of did.
<v Speaker 1>She was in a backstage segment for like fifteen seconds
<v Speaker 1>a couple weeks ago. I don't really count that as
<v Speaker 1>a debut though. Anyway, thank you well again. The goal,
<v Speaker 1>as you could see here from the wheel, was three
<v Speaker 1>point fifty, and we are currently sitting at what are
<v Speaker 1>we sitting at? Why can't I see it here? It
<v Speaker 1>is four sixty six. Look at that. Alex says, apparently
<v Speaker 1>Chris van Vliet is going to interview heiden Reich. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>that is coming up on June eleventh, is when the
<v Speaker 1>interview is being uploaded. I'm sure they'll talk about that
<v Speaker 1>segment with Michael Cole and oh, Joseph Stewart is back
<v Speaker 1>because I'm back Solemn Monster with breaking new is Carmen Electra?
<v Speaker 1>Is that the new scary movie premiere? See we get
<v Speaker 1>the important breaking news here. I don't even know what
<v Speaker 1>Carmen Electra has been doing for the last ten years.
<v Speaker 1>Is she still doing movie stuff? Alex says, Julia is
<v Speaker 1>very talented and look what he has done with her.
<v Speaker 1>I do not trust him. What Yeah, but Mariah May
<v Speaker 1>speaks English and Julia does not, or she actually does,
<v Speaker 1>but like it's not her first language, and so it's
<v Speaker 1>gonna work against her. I mean, I'm sorry to say it,
<v Speaker 1>but like that will that will work against her, and
<v Speaker 1>it has worked against her, and it sucks, but that's
<v Speaker 1>the way it is. And so Mariah May is already
<v Speaker 1>in a much better position just because of that, like
<v Speaker 1>promo wise, communicating with the audience. It's a lot easier
<v Speaker 1>for her than it is for Julia. That's gonna work
<v Speaker 1>to her advantage in a way that it won't for Julia.
<v Speaker 1>That shouldn't be a reason to not push Julia. But
<v Speaker 1>I'm just telling it. I'm just telling you something that
<v Speaker 1>you already know. It's gonna work against her in a
<v Speaker 1>way that it will not work against Blake Monroe. Joseph says,
<v Speaker 1>is the Undertaker versus Raven a dream match that you
<v Speaker 1>would like to see? Because I would have loved to
<v Speaker 1>have seen that match. No, I think nineteen ninety seven,
<v Speaker 1>nineteen ninety eight Raven against Undertaker could have been a
<v Speaker 1>fun program dream match. No, no, it's not a dream
<v Speaker 1>match for me. All right, let's let's get ready here
<v Speaker 1>because we got one round coming our way on a
<v Speaker 1>Wednesday night. Guess what it is time to celebrate the
<v Speaker 1>next win with be the booker. Ladies and gentlemen, it
<v Speaker 1>is now time to be I may have to add
<v Speaker 1>Jalen Brunson to be the booker here. We land on
<v Speaker 1>Tyrese Halliburton. That's an automatic end to be the booker,
<v Speaker 1>and we can put Jalen Brunson in there. Okay, I'm
<v Speaker 1>a fan of some old school tag team wrestling. Let's
<v Speaker 1>see what we can come up with here. Oh, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I'm looking at one of the arguably some
<v Speaker 1>people might even say the greatest pro wrestler of all time.
<v Speaker 1>But he's certainly in the conversation in Terry Funk. And
<v Speaker 1>to his left, Cactus Jack, the former tag team champions,
<v Speaker 1>are kicking us off here and be the booker. Cactus
<v Speaker 1>Jack now works for Tony Kah. They are gonna be
<v Speaker 1>taking a William Regal and as stone Cold Steve Auston
<v Speaker 1>used to call him Tai Jerry always just to pop me,
<v Speaker 1>Tai Jerry, the Japanese buzz Tay Jerry. What a terrible
<v Speaker 1>t shirt? Look at that T shirt Regal is wearing.
<v Speaker 1>It's got the brass knucks born naughty. Who would buy that?
<v Speaker 1>It's a T shirt that says born naughty and it's
<v Speaker 1>got a fucking picture of brass knuckles on them. And
<v Speaker 1>who's gonna walk around wearing that? All right, women's be
<v Speaker 1>the booker. Oh no, it is all red everything. She
<v Speaker 1>has arrived. She has made her debut. Well it's not
<v Speaker 1>her debut, but let's pretend that it is her debut
<v Speaker 1>and the booker it is even Marie. I was given
<v Speaker 1>to the big build up. There all read everything, even Marie. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>everyone's buzzing in the chat. I haven't even picked the
<v Speaker 1>opponent yet. You don't even want to give it a chance.
<v Speaker 1>You see you jump the gun. Even Marie against Eosky.
<v Speaker 1>Eosky can make anything better. If anybody can bring even
<v Speaker 1>Marie to a respectable match, it is this woman here,
<v Speaker 1>and with any hope and any luck, this image right
<v Speaker 1>here that you see on your screen is going to
<v Speaker 1>be what we see in Minneapolis at Summer Slim this
<v Speaker 1>year and now our main event. Ah, look away, look away.
<v Speaker 1>It is the Painmaker. He has arrived. Chris Jericho, the painmaker.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he saw those images of CM Punk at
<v Speaker 1>the gym and he wanted to one up him. Look
<v Speaker 1>at him, Look at this. Look at this sexy beast
<v Speaker 1>flexing those muscles, look at those pecks. The painmaker. It
<v Speaker 1>is the image that causes great pain. It is the
<v Speaker 1>Painmaker against Bam Bam Bigelow. Now, if this was almost
<v Speaker 1>any other version of Chris Jericho, this would be an
<v Speaker 1>automatic bell. But I have to I have to think
<v Speaker 1>about this. Now. I'm gonna give it the bell because
<v Speaker 1>it is it is still. It is still. Uh, it's
<v Speaker 1>a sweet It is still Jericho and Jericho and Bambam
<v Speaker 1>is is a good match. I'm just not sure. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not sure about the painmaker though, the one that we
<v Speaker 1>saw there in that image. Why is Bam Bam still
<v Speaker 1>not in the Hall of Fame? It's terrible. keV says,
<v Speaker 1>two super heavyweights going guy, Yes, a super heavyweight made
<v Speaker 1>event there. Jericho had a bulk up for the match.
<v Speaker 1>Now it all makes sense. Well, there you go. You
<v Speaker 1>got yourself a clean sweep and be the booker. We
<v Speaker 1>came close to the bonus call. We didn't quite hit
<v Speaker 1>it seven out of ten. We almost got around two,
<v Speaker 1>but we had a respectable showing tonight. Joseph has not
<v Speaker 1>done yet. Joseph says where did Raven come up with
<v Speaker 1>his character and the idea of Raven's flock? I don't
<v Speaker 1>know where Raven came up with the idea. I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>it was inspired by something. I just don't know. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>maybe Kurt Cobain. Maybe, I don't know. It's a good question.
<v Speaker 1>I don't have a good answer for you. Says also,
<v Speaker 1>which batman villain do you think Carmen Electra would have
<v Speaker 1>been good as Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy or Talia
<v Speaker 1>al Goole. Carmen Electra. I mean a younger Carmen Electra
<v Speaker 1>could have worked. I think as poison ivy. I think
<v Speaker 1>the first time I ever saw Carmen Electra is when
<v Speaker 1>they added her to that old MTV show Singled Out.
<v Speaker 1>I think she replaced Jenny McCarthy, didn't she lost. Dill says,
<v Speaker 1>you've been live earlier than usual, so I haven't been
<v Speaker 1>able to catch you. But what the hell is WWE
<v Speaker 1>doing with Joe Hendry? It's been a month, a month
<v Speaker 1>and a week and no entrance, music, no singles, match, nothing,
<v Speaker 1>nothing is what they're doing with him. They don't seem
<v Speaker 1>to know what they want to do with him. They've
<v Speaker 1>completely dropped the ball so far with Joe Hendry, Like
<v Speaker 1>the entrance is a big part of his whole act,
<v Speaker 1>and the fact that he hasn't had a single proper
<v Speaker 1>entrance on the show since debuting is criminal and it
<v Speaker 1>just shows me that they just have no They have
<v Speaker 1>no idea on what to do with him at the moment,
<v Speaker 1>which begs the question, then I don't know why he
<v Speaker 1>was called up in the first place if he didn't
<v Speaker 1>know what the fuck to do with him, and you
<v Speaker 1>didn't have a real role for him on the show.
<v Speaker 1>Then why are you using him as fodder during the
<v Speaker 1>commercial breaks to sing some shitty song to Logan Paul,
<v Speaker 1>who isn't even on TV anymore because now he's hurt
<v Speaker 1>and so he got killed off by Austin theory. That
<v Speaker 1>was their grand idea on how to introduce Joe Henry
<v Speaker 1>to the main roster. The creative geniuses over there at
<v Speaker 1>the old WWE headquarters, Ladies and gentlemen hard at work. Joseph, Joseph, Joseph, Joseph, Joseph.
<v Speaker 1>I'll get to you in a second. First we got
<v Speaker 1>to go to EJ. Slump. I hate asking this, but
<v Speaker 1>if alive today, would TKO have fired Blassy, Monsoon, Fink
<v Speaker 1>and other lifers. I respect Vince honoring that promise. If
<v Speaker 1>Vince was there, no, If Vince was not there, yes,
<v Speaker 1>nobody would be safe. But there are certain people like
<v Speaker 1>Blassie and Monsoon who I think Vince's father told him
<v Speaker 1>to make sure you take care of certain people, and
<v Speaker 1>I believe he would have regardless. T KO doesn't give
<v Speaker 1>a shit. They don't care about a single one of
<v Speaker 1>those people you just named, or they wouldn't if they
<v Speaker 1>were still there. Try Chickens, says Cactus, Jack and Terry
<v Speaker 1>funk against Regal into Jerry, and the loser has to
<v Speaker 1>pay solemn monsters. Bartab I'm telling you it's a great
<v Speaker 1>tag team management. It really is Batman Jurassic aka Joseph Stewart.
<v Speaker 1>Did you know that there were two ideas that have
<v Speaker 1>Billy d Williams in Batman returns as Harvey Dent and
<v Speaker 1>have him turn into two Face, which almost involved Jack
<v Speaker 1>Nicholson returning as the Joker. I just I marvel. I
<v Speaker 1>never fail to marvel at your Batman knowledge. I think
<v Speaker 1>you should work on I think you should direct your
<v Speaker 1>own Batman movie. I think you should try to take
<v Speaker 1>a stab at writing a script for a Batman movie,
<v Speaker 1>because it would be like a passion project. It just would.
<v Speaker 1>The attention to detail would be second to none. You
<v Speaker 1>have a knowledge and just a depth of knowledge of
<v Speaker 1>these characters that even I don't have. Christian Bale was
<v Speaker 1>in talks to play Robin as well. I can see that.
<v Speaker 1>I can't. I cannot imagine that Christian Bale's like the
<v Speaker 1>alpha male, Like he ain't playing a second fiddle to
<v Speaker 1>Batman in the movie. He's either Batman or he's the
<v Speaker 1>main villain or he ain't in the movie. Morris has
<v Speaker 1>thought Tonight's Dynamite was incredible. It was a good show.
<v Speaker 1>I enjoyed it. Some great wrestling and there was a
<v Speaker 1>lot going on. And also Joseph says, have a good night,
<v Speaker 1>solemn monster, thank you for everything, and have a blessed
<v Speaker 1>day today. Joseph, same to you. Right back at you,
<v Speaker 1>my friend, right back at you, a crazy fist. Why
<v Speaker 1>would I not be live? He says, You're still alive?
<v Speaker 1>I go, are you asking me if I'm alive? Or
<v Speaker 1>am I live? I'm typically live on Wednesdays. I know
<v Speaker 1>sometimes we wrap up after an hour and we're approaching
<v Speaker 1>two hours here. That's what happens when you have a
<v Speaker 1>good Dynamite show to really kind of sink your teeth
<v Speaker 1>into and then you get a lot of questions and
<v Speaker 1>a lot of support. This is how it should always be.
<v Speaker 1>Ej says, I'm so glad Fink never went to WCW
<v Speaker 1>like me and Jean and Heenan. It just would have
<v Speaker 1>felt wrong. I'm glad he didn't. Also, just because he
<v Speaker 1>was still the primary voice through the end of the
<v Speaker 1>nineties and into the beginning of the two thousands. Lilian
<v Speaker 1>came in towards the end of ninety nine. She wasn't
<v Speaker 1>the primary voice though right away. So I'm glad that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, we had him for the entire time. But
<v Speaker 1>if the timeline would have worked out a little bit
<v Speaker 1>differently and Vince started to phase him down the way
<v Speaker 1>that he did, then I would have loved to have
<v Speaker 1>seen him do ring announcing somewhere else, because I mean,
<v Speaker 1>as long as he was in that spot, for he
<v Speaker 1>was never like fully valued and truly valued and respected.
<v Speaker 1>I just you look at the way that he was
<v Speaker 1>treated there towards the end. I don't mean like the
<v Speaker 1>very end, when he was having health issues, clearly he
<v Speaker 1>I mean he gained a lot of weight and he
<v Speaker 1>couldn't really be out there doing it anymore. Well, like
<v Speaker 1>when Vince faced him down in favor of Lily and Garcia,
<v Speaker 1>because you know, he didn't look good in a fucking bikini.
<v Speaker 1>I don't need to see Howard Finkel in a bikini.
<v Speaker 1>What a horrible vision, by the way, but you know
<v Speaker 1>that's what they were going for. They wanted the younger,
<v Speaker 1>attractive female announcer, and they wanted a phase down the
<v Speaker 1>old the old voice, right, and get rid of that.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, you know what, he's still the best fucking
<v Speaker 1>ring announcer in the history of the business, and you
<v Speaker 1>have that iconic voice. Why would you phase that down?
<v Speaker 1>Why would you get rid of that? Those are all
<v Speaker 1>your messages. I hope I did my best to answer them.
<v Speaker 1>We had a good show tonight. The next time I
<v Speaker 1>will be live with you here will be on Friday.
<v Speaker 1>EJ says, I missed one of his messages. Let's see,
<v Speaker 1>I did. I missed two of them. Actually, no, I
<v Speaker 1>missed three of them. How did I miss three? Dry
<v Speaker 1>Chicken says even Marie against EO Sky Al Bundy as
<v Speaker 1>the referee. Al Bundy is in be the booker Joseph
<v Speaker 1>Joseph lives. There was one Joseph I missed. Did you
<v Speaker 1>know Leonardo DiCaprio almost played, almost played Robin in Batman forever?
<v Speaker 1>I did not know that? And EJ says, would you
<v Speaker 1>consider Nick Bockwinkle and Bobby Eaton among the biggest stars
<v Speaker 1>to never work for WWE, not counting training or retirement appearances? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean they would be. Bobby Eaton wouldn't be the
<v Speaker 1>biggest Bockwinkle though I think that's fair. I think that's fair.
<v Speaker 1>Dry chicken, says Vince McMahon against God is a guilty pleasure. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't have any interest in ever going back to
<v Speaker 1>relive to relive those days, the good old days of
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and six. Yeah, no, thank you, I'm good.
<v Speaker 1>But what I was going to say is Friday is
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown in Bologna, Italy. So again, if you're international, or
<v Speaker 1>if you're going to watch with your VPN, you should
<v Speaker 1>be able to watch the show earlier, depending on what
<v Speaker 1>region that you're in, and I will be watching a
<v Speaker 1>little bit later. I think what I may do is
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to wait to watch the USA version,
<v Speaker 1>but I'll I'll probably end up watching the show around
<v Speaker 1>the same time, like eight PM, but I'll probably I'll
<v Speaker 1>probably watch it elsewhere so I can kind of get
<v Speaker 1>through it a little bit quicker and cut out the
<v Speaker 1>commercial breaks, and then I might be able to go
<v Speaker 1>live a little bit earlier. So we're going to go
<v Speaker 1>live probably in that ten to eleven PM range, hopefully
<v Speaker 1>closer to ten than eleven. We could avoid the beginning
<v Speaker 1>of the basketball game. But also I'm going to the
<v Speaker 1>movie that we talked about earlier in the afternoon, and
<v Speaker 1>so I'd rather just do that than watch smack Down
<v Speaker 1>at two o'clock in the afternoon. That doesn't really interest me.
<v Speaker 1>I want to say, I've been looking forward to this
<v Speaker 1>movie for a while. It's Masters of the Universe movie.
<v Speaker 1>So that's what I will be doing on Friday, and
<v Speaker 1>then when we get that done, we'll go live later
<v Speaker 1>on in the evening. So at some point after eight
<v Speaker 1>or nine or ten, I will be live here on YouTube.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully you will be there with me, and we'll talk
<v Speaker 1>about SmackDown. TNA Slammiversary this month only has twelve hundred
<v Speaker 1>tickets sold out. Well, what venue are they in? Don't
<v Speaker 1>tell me they're not back at ubs right what? You
<v Speaker 1>gotta give context here, though, What venue were they in
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the two thousands seat venue? Because
<v Speaker 1>twelve hundred tickets into two thousand seat venue is not bad.
<v Speaker 1>If they're in a building that fits ten thousand, then
<v Speaker 1>that's terrible. Context is key. There's a lot of wrestling
<v Speaker 1>that day. By the way, Slammiversary is the same day
<v Speaker 1>as the NXT Great American Bass Show and aw Forbidden Door.
<v Speaker 1>TNA show is at three o'clock in the afternoon though,
<v Speaker 1>so there's no direct competition there. They're in an eight
<v Speaker 1>thousand seat venue. Okay, well that's that's not good. That's
<v Speaker 1>actually quite terrible. Anyway, be well, stay safe, have yourselves
<v Speaker 1>a great night. All you Knicks fans out there, Enjoy,
<v Speaker 1>enjoy the celebration. That was a hell of a win.
<v Speaker 1>I gotta go check out the end of the game myself.
<v Speaker 1>I know it was very close there for a while
<v Speaker 1>and then they kind of pulled away there at the end,
<v Speaker 1>so I want to go see how that all played out.
<v Speaker 1>But it'll be there be there'll be a lot of
<v Speaker 1>smiling faces, I'm sure in New York tomorrow. So enjoy
<v Speaker 1>and I'll see you back here on Friday for more
<v Speaker 1>sound off. Until then, take care, guys,
