<v Speaker 1>Jared Katy and Josh one hundred. I'm reading this story
<v Speaker 1>right now. This makes me sad.
<v Speaker 2>Bands that are now considered dad rock okay on the list,
<v Speaker 2>I can see that.
<v Speaker 1>If you're not familiar.
<v Speaker 2>Dad rock is a slang term describing nostalgic, accessible rock
<v Speaker 2>music favored by middle aged men. And it's heavy and
<v Speaker 2>guitar and drums. Right, here's the list now. Blink one
<v Speaker 2>eighty two is now officially dad rock. Creed, Fallout Boy,
<v Speaker 2>Foo Fighters, Green Day, Incubus, and Corn Katie a couple
<v Speaker 2>of our favorites.
<v Speaker 3>Lincoln Park made the list.
<v Speaker 2>Offspring and Weezer all now considered dad rock.
<v Speaker 1>So whatever, let your light shine exactly, you know, throw
<v Speaker 1>it on while you're grilling forth.
<v Speaker 3>At least you're still rocking out.
<v Speaker 1>Right Fallout Boy, and that makes me.
<v Speaker 3>I think that got everyone.
<v Speaker 1>Down a little. All right. So Katie came in this
<v Speaker 1>morning and she was so excited.
<v Speaker 2>She's like, we gotta talk about how me and baby No,
<v Speaker 2>now we're talking about campfires?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, all right about it?
<v Speaker 3>We will. Your summer's part of your you know, best
<v Speaker 3>memories are the ones that you create around the campfire,
<v Speaker 3>right right, Come on, the food, the stories you tell
<v Speaker 3>like when you're actually out there camping, that's when everyone
<v Speaker 3>gathers and you relax and you have a good time.
<v Speaker 1>Right, So ghost stories, right.
<v Speaker 3>They know, can till last time? Remember the last time
<v Speaker 3>I told the ghost stories?
<v Speaker 2>Smut and you smell like smoke and you got that
<v Speaker 2>one person where the smoke always blows.
<v Speaker 1>On that person no matter where they move, and like
<v Speaker 1>I'm attracted to the smoke. You know what I'm talking. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we all know.
<v Speaker 3>That's kind of where this came about. Because the little baby,
<v Speaker 3>Nanna and I we are going to be around a
<v Speaker 3>campfire a lot this summer. So part of our vacation
<v Speaker 3>you burn your track, No, We're going to be hanging
<v Speaker 3>out at a campfire. That's part of our summer plans.
<v Speaker 3>And so we were just talking about all the things
<v Speaker 3>that we can grill in the campfire, and the list
<v Speaker 3>does really increased since you know, back in the day.
<v Speaker 3>So when we're talking about savory things, have you heard
<v Speaker 3>of the charcuterie board on a stick? So essentially it
<v Speaker 3>is just taking all of the things that you would
<v Speaker 3>put in a charcuterie board and putting them on a stick.
<v Speaker 3>So they say take it, well, no, like a mini
<v Speaker 3>bree bite or like the baby bell cheese. Right, you
<v Speaker 3>put that on there, and then you put a little
<v Speaker 3>cracker on the side, and then you have salabby or
<v Speaker 3>a preshiudo that you put with the baby bell as well,
<v Speaker 3>and so you toast it on the campfire. You put
<v Speaker 3>it on your cracker and then you drizzle it with
<v Speaker 3>hot honey, a little fig jam. So all the charcuterie
<v Speaker 3>board flavors camping the campfire. Well, it's not dumb. People
<v Speaker 3>are doing it. People are doing this area. They're also
<v Speaker 3>taking the fruit and making sweet and salty. So you
<v Speaker 3>can take apples and pears and tea that up with
<v Speaker 3>cheese as well if you want that on the campfire. Okay,
<v Speaker 3>if you are strictly when it comes to your campfire treats, jar,
<v Speaker 3>I've got you, okay. So they have the campfire rice
<v Speaker 3>crispy treats. Have you heard about this? Oh? That sounds good, okay,
<v Speaker 3>but people are split on it apparently.
<v Speaker 4>No.
<v Speaker 1>First of all, I have not heard about it.
<v Speaker 3>Okay. So yeah, you take a rice crispy street, you
<v Speaker 3>put it on a stick, and you put it in
<v Speaker 3>the campfire. It already has some marshmallow and everything, right,
<v Speaker 3>But can.
<v Speaker 1>I put some fig jam on it?
<v Speaker 3>If you could, you could up that game however you want.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, the rice Krispy treat is a viral flicking
<v Speaker 3>well they because again like when you burn it, it's
<v Speaker 3>just a lot of people don't like that Rice Crispy treat.
<v Speaker 3>Bert marshmallows are okay, but the actual you know, rice Crispy,
<v Speaker 3>that's where people are like, I don't know if I
<v Speaker 3>really enjoy that. But there's all kinds of stuff. So
<v Speaker 3>there's the cookie dough scower what so, yeah, you just
<v Speaker 3>take it does well, you just warm it and then
<v Speaker 3>you put it in between the marshmallow or the crackers,
<v Speaker 3>the Graham crackers.
<v Speaker 2>It is not no, this is this is instagram TikTok
<v Speaker 2>thing where somebody did it once at a campfire. They
<v Speaker 2>meet in their backyard and now they think everybody's doing
<v Speaker 2>this everybody else. We've been backing a complete charcouterie board
<v Speaker 2>to cook on the fire.
<v Speaker 3>Nobody people I know. I have seen people do the
<v Speaker 3>waffle cone boats. Have you seen that? Wait a minute,
<v Speaker 3>back up board a waffle cone and then you just
<v Speaker 3>put it full of all of your favorite small treats.
<v Speaker 3>So you've got the chocolate, you've got the marshmallow, you've
<v Speaker 3>got the waffle cone is the base. You can even
<v Speaker 3>put other things in there if you'd like, like em
<v Speaker 3>and ms, if you want some recist pieces in there,
<v Speaker 3>chocolate chips you'd like if that's what ails you little, yes,
<v Speaker 3>but the waffle boats and then with those, you just
<v Speaker 3>take them and you wrap them in tinfoil and you
<v Speaker 3>put them on the ground and melts and it gets
<v Speaker 3>all gooey like an ice cream cone. You like, cool
<v Speaker 3>down a little bit, but you eat it and people
<v Speaker 3>are loving it. And then there's one there's these people
<v Speaker 3>and me, I am these people. There's there's also like
<v Speaker 3>so people are saying, if you take the marshmallow fluff,
<v Speaker 3>that's a game change, game changer. So you take it,
<v Speaker 3>and then you're just gonna take it like a Reese's
<v Speaker 3>Peanut butter cupe doup it in that marshmallow fluff. Put that.
<v Speaker 3>You take the Reese's Peanut butter cup, you yump it
<v Speaker 3>in the marshmallow fluff, you put it on the stick
<v Speaker 3>and you get that all warm.
<v Speaker 1>And but again that's gonna drip it right into the fire.
<v Speaker 1>Is Okay, I've got one more for.
<v Speaker 3>You, because this was completely out of bounds.
<v Speaker 4>Like I never would have thought to put a starburst
<v Speaker 4>on a stick and throw that in the campfire, because
<v Speaker 4>it becomes all like, you know, the outside is nice
<v Speaker 4>and crispy, but the inside's all melty and gooey, and
<v Speaker 4>kids love it.
<v Speaker 3>Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside. If you've
<v Speaker 3>never had a starburst in a campfire.
<v Speaker 1>Do it.
<v Speaker 3>It's so good. It's so good.
<v Speaker 1>So you're doing all this this summer, huh exactly?
<v Speaker 3>Oh my gosh, already planning it. We've got it all
<v Speaker 3>mapped out.
<v Speaker 2>So what you should probably get some camp chairs with
<v Speaker 2>like excessive weight limits.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe you're going to say that, but.
<v Speaker 1>Get yourself some camp chairs like that hold about six.
<v Speaker 3>You go ahead and put a cucumber on a stick
<v Speaker 3>and put that in the fire. Tell me how much
<v Speaker 3>you like that.
<v Speaker 1>So I gotta ask you going back to you.
<v Speaker 2>And your daughter going out camping this summer, yep, which
<v Speaker 2>I would love to be a fly on the wall.
<v Speaker 3>But okay, like, are you just gonna.
<v Speaker 2>Pack like the traditional stuff too, like wieners?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, scores not going like in the sense we are
<v Speaker 3>going to be around a campfire a lot like where
<v Speaker 3>we're staying. So it mean like where so we're staying
<v Speaker 3>at a house, but it has a fire pit back
<v Speaker 3>and so we're going to be hanging out there a
<v Speaker 3>lot at night, and so we're going to be toasting
<v Speaker 3>things in the fire. And so that's where it all
<v Speaker 3>came up.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, yes, you were going to be under the stars
<v Speaker 1>in a.
<v Speaker 3>Tent to get like camping, camping.
<v Speaker 1>So is it a wood burning fire pit?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's got wood. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Or is it like fake wood with and it's a
<v Speaker 1>gas pit.
<v Speaker 3>No, it's a pit.
<v Speaker 1>And then we put you.
<v Speaker 3>Gotta get in there and you know.
<v Speaker 1>Do some work, create the.
<v Speaker 3>Little tepee with wood and make the fire happen.
<v Speaker 2>I instantly went to, like you guys renting an Airbnb
<v Speaker 2>with a fire pit. But like you find out later
<v Speaker 2>after you're melting all this stuff into the pit, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>candies dripping in.
<v Speaker 1>There, and there's marshmallow fluff.
<v Speaker 2>Then it's a gas powered fire pit and the bottom
<v Speaker 2>of it is just caked and go.
<v Speaker 3>And I lose my deposits.
<v Speaker 1>You think we're getting our deposit.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, not like that, not like that, but definitely trying
<v Speaker 3>some new things with camp. Oh, you guys are cute.
<v Speaker 3>That's gonna be good like mother.
<v Speaker 1>Daughter bonding time. Yeah, it's gonna be really sweet for
<v Speaker 1>you guys. See, I'm glad you around the stick with
<v Speaker 1>my daughter.
<v Speaker 3>That's so cute.
