<v Speaker 1>Hello, hello, hello, hello, Hello. It's another Friday night. I
<v Speaker 1>am solo Monster. It is time for another SmackDown review.
<v Speaker 1>Aren't you happy? You know, there's also a big game
<v Speaker 1>going on right now. We're all competing against the big game.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like every time we do one of these
<v Speaker 1>streams bus we're also going live a little earlier than usual.
<v Speaker 1>WWE is still in the middle of its European tour.
<v Speaker 1>So SmackDown was in Italy. They were in Bologna tonight
<v Speaker 1>and it was you know, SmackDown was the usual, but
<v Speaker 1>we have a few things to go through here. The
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhoads and Gunther. I included them on the thumbnail
<v Speaker 1>because there was controversy coming out of their title matchic
<v Speaker 1>Clash in Italy last weekend. Gunther's foot under the bottom rope,
<v Speaker 1>referee didn't see it, Cody pinned him, retained the title.
<v Speaker 1>Seem pretty clear that we were heading towards a rematch,
<v Speaker 1>most likely in Riot at Clash of Champions or Night
<v Speaker 1>of Champions. And so tonight Gunther comes out on the wall.
<v Speaker 1>He's pissed, right as he should be, because he got screwed.
<v Speaker 1>It was the Italian screwjob. And now we know that
<v Speaker 1>he is in fact going to be getting his rematch
<v Speaker 1>for the WWE Championship. We have a date, we have
<v Speaker 1>a time for when this match is going to take place.
<v Speaker 1>What we don't have is a stipulation. Now we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have to wait one week to find out what the
<v Speaker 1>stipulation is, and then in two weeks we're gonna get
<v Speaker 1>the WWE title match between Cody Rhodes and gun Throw.
<v Speaker 1>And as soon as they announced this on this show,
<v Speaker 1>I go, motherfucker, It's it's just funny to be because
<v Speaker 1>I would say, we don't get WWE title matches very
<v Speaker 1>often on television, right, I mean, it's certainly not like
<v Speaker 1>we've been getting them in aw over the last couple
<v Speaker 1>of months. It's rare to see Cody's title defend it
<v Speaker 1>on TV. This year, it's happened twice. I think, right
<v Speaker 1>this will be number three. I believe it just so happens.
<v Speaker 1>The last time that that championshi was defended on this
<v Speaker 1>show was March sixth, which was the night that Cody
<v Speaker 1>Rhodes won the belt back from Drew McIntyre. And I
<v Speaker 1>was in Chicago that night for House of Glory, so
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't here to stream live and watch the match live,
<v Speaker 1>and it was a big title match that night. And
<v Speaker 1>so here we are now, and the fucking Championship is
<v Speaker 1>going to be defended again on June nineteenth, which just
<v Speaker 1>so happens to be me back in Chicago again for
<v Speaker 1>House of Glory, and I will not be here to
<v Speaker 1>talk about SmackDown. It's like they know. It's like they know.
<v Speaker 1>But outside of that, I think it was pretty clear
<v Speaker 1>we were going to get a rematch between these two.
<v Speaker 1>I guess the big surprise to the fact that they're
<v Speaker 1>giving it away. I was it a week. I think
<v Speaker 1>it's about a week before, maybe a week and a
<v Speaker 1>half before Night of Champions, which tells me, and you
<v Speaker 1>could kind of tell based on what they did in
<v Speaker 1>the opening segment that the title match at Night of Champion,
<v Speaker 1>assuming we get a WWE title match on that show,
<v Speaker 1>maywell end up being a triple threat match involving one
<v Speaker 1>Sammy Zain, who has interjected himself into this whole story. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I know. See, I's always missed the good stuff. Man.
<v Speaker 1>When there's like a really big important match on this show,
<v Speaker 1>always time for when I'm not here, and I'm here
<v Speaker 1>all the time. This pisses me off. Oh man, Well,
<v Speaker 1>the other big thing on the show tonight, and this
<v Speaker 1>is going to have some people talking. Of course, we're
<v Speaker 1>in the middle of the King and Queen of the
<v Speaker 1>Ring tournaments, and this right here coming into the show
<v Speaker 1>tonight was the updated bracket for the King of the Ring.
<v Speaker 1>You can see Oba Femei he advanced on Monday Night,
<v Speaker 1>meaning that he would meet the winner of the match
<v Speaker 1>that we got tonight between Dominique Mysterio, bron Breaker, Trick Williams,
<v Speaker 1>and Damian Priest. Now, bron Break was already in the
<v Speaker 1>main event of Raw Monday nights. He got to close
<v Speaker 1>both shows this week. He was in the main event
<v Speaker 1>a very good match on Monday with Seth Rollins, a
<v Speaker 1>match that he lost. Seemed to me like the most
<v Speaker 1>logical conclusion to this match here was that broun Breaker
<v Speaker 1>would he would bounce back and he would get a
<v Speaker 1>win in the opening round and then we would all
<v Speaker 1>be set up for one hell of a semi final
<v Speaker 1>round match Oba Femi and bron Breaker. Right, that could
<v Speaker 1>be a WrestleMania match three years from now. Right, it
<v Speaker 1>would be the first time ever that we would be
<v Speaker 1>able to see these two guys in the ring together,
<v Speaker 1>and so it's like, Okay, that's the sort of thing
<v Speaker 1>that makes King of the Ring kind of fun because
<v Speaker 1>you could end up with a big match like that,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, again, maybe it's not going to be
<v Speaker 1>the best match in the world, because it's really it's
<v Speaker 1>part of the tournament and it's not like they have
<v Speaker 1>their own story going on. But still, right, it's those possibilities,
<v Speaker 1>the potential matches that you could end up with. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we didn't get that. We are not getting Obafemi and
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker in the King of the Ring tournament. We
<v Speaker 1>are not getting Obafemi and Trick Williams, which really wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>make any sense. And we're not getting Obafemi and Damian Priest,
<v Speaker 1>which I don't think anybody was asking for. We are
<v Speaker 1>getting Obafemi against Dominic Mysterio in the semi final round
<v Speaker 1>of the King of the Ring Torrent. So they're very
<v Speaker 1>serious about this Live Dom stuff that they really want
<v Speaker 1>you to believe we may end up with king Dom
<v Speaker 1>and Queen Live which is why you can't discount the
<v Speaker 1>possibility that Live Morgan. Although I do think Stephanie Vicaire
<v Speaker 1>is on her way back any week now to screw
<v Speaker 1>her over. Could very well advance at least to the
<v Speaker 1>semi final round of the Queen of the Ring tournament,
<v Speaker 1>just to keep hope alive. Her match, I think is
<v Speaker 1>coming up next Monday, but Dom is going to the
<v Speaker 1>semi finals. And I'm torn on this. On the one hand,
<v Speaker 1>I look at this and I say, are these people
<v Speaker 1>on crack cocaine? Right, That's my first thought when I
<v Speaker 1>see the outcome of this match. They're sniffing the good stuff, well,
<v Speaker 1>the bad stuff. Drugs are bad, Okay, drugs are bad.
<v Speaker 1>On the other hand, people will often talk about how
<v Speaker 1>everything is so predictable on these shows. You could see
<v Speaker 1>from a mile away this guy's gonna advance, and this
<v Speaker 1>guy's going to advance, and this guy's gonna win, that
<v Speaker 1>girl's gonna win, and there is there is a lot
<v Speaker 1>of predictability on these shows, and it's one of the
<v Speaker 1>things that really sucks about these shows. Although I've talked
<v Speaker 1>about before, like predictability does not automatically mean bad. Sometimes
<v Speaker 1>predictability is good. Right. You see a path for a
<v Speaker 1>certain story, someone should be, you know, going from point
<v Speaker 1>A to point B, and it makes sense for them
<v Speaker 1>to win, even if it is obvious, right, It all
<v Speaker 1>is in the way that you do. You try to
<v Speaker 1>make it exciting and try to make it interesting. This
<v Speaker 1>is one of those things where we got our first
<v Speaker 1>real upset in either of these tournaments, but they gave
<v Speaker 1>us an inferior match, and that sucks because I think
<v Speaker 1>they have the potential here to do something fun in
<v Speaker 1>the next round. Hey, you might look at this and go, oh,
<v Speaker 1>this will be fun. It'll be fun watching Dominic try
<v Speaker 1>to avoid being ripped apart by Obafemi. Right, it's a
<v Speaker 1>total mismatch, so there is something to be said for that.
<v Speaker 1>If you go back a couple of years, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if you remember this. Brock Lesner, there were rumors
<v Speaker 1>that Brocklesner was going to be wrestling Gunther at WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>That was probably gonna be the WrestleMania match, and they
<v Speaker 1>were going to kick it off in the Royal Rumble
<v Speaker 1>that year, and in between the Elimination Chamber, they were
<v Speaker 1>preparing to do Dominic Mysterio against brock Lesner, and dom
<v Speaker 1>was going to eliminate Brock in the Rumble. Right, that
<v Speaker 1>was reportedly the plan. I think I want to say
<v Speaker 1>this was for twenty twenty four didn't happen because the
<v Speaker 1>Janelle Grant thing dropped. They pulled brock from the Rumble
<v Speaker 1>and he disappeared for two years. And at the time
<v Speaker 1>I was like, man, that would have been fun just
<v Speaker 1>to see just brought. Even just the visual of brock
<v Speaker 1>Lesnar in the ring with Dominic Masterio is so preposterous.
<v Speaker 1>It's one of those like car crash, can't look away
<v Speaker 1>type things, like I gotta see what this match looks like. Here.
<v Speaker 1>This has a little bit of that. So you have
<v Speaker 1>that element to it where it's like it's like the
<v Speaker 1>freak show element. People are gonna want to tune in
<v Speaker 1>to see Dominic Masterio get pounded into the sand unless
<v Speaker 1>they really shock us and they find a way to
<v Speaker 1>get a win because brock Lesnar gets involved and what
<v Speaker 1>have you. Right, So there's a few different ways that
<v Speaker 1>you could look at this. There's gonna be some people
<v Speaker 1>who are stoked to see this match because they just
<v Speaker 1>can't envision it in their mind. I look at it
<v Speaker 1>a little bit differently. I just would have preferred that
<v Speaker 1>we got an Obafemi bron breaker match because I just
<v Speaker 1>think it would have made for a more exciting match,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and now we're not getting it, and instead
<v Speaker 1>the Judgment Day have just taken over these two tournaments
<v Speaker 1>because on the other side we have the Queen of
<v Speaker 1>the Ring and in that bracket to we had the
<v Speaker 1>match between Bailey, Raquel Rodriguez, J C. Jane, and Keana James.
<v Speaker 1>The winner would go on to wrestle EO Sky, who
<v Speaker 1>already advanced this past Monday. And you look at this
<v Speaker 1>and going into it, I said, man, I would love
<v Speaker 1>for a J. C. Jane or a Keana James win, right,
<v Speaker 1>a new face. Either way, you get a relatively new
<v Speaker 1>face in there. At least they make it into the
<v Speaker 1>next round and we get Eo against one of them. Bailey. Look,
<v Speaker 1>Bailey is I mean, she's the veteran here, She's been
<v Speaker 1>around forever. I don't think anybody's getting overly excited about Bailey,
<v Speaker 1>who's been doing the tag team thing. Anyway, moving on
<v Speaker 1>to the semi finals and wrestling EO Sky, Okay, like
<v Speaker 1>nobody really is terribly excited about that. Raquel Rodriguez she
<v Speaker 1>had heat with the earlier this year. They had a
<v Speaker 1>match on TV Raquel Beaters. There's some history there from
<v Speaker 1>a few months ago, and it's another member of the
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day and that doesn't really excite me, but that's
<v Speaker 1>what they went with. And Raquel Rodriguez is moving on
<v Speaker 1>to the semi finals and she is going to be
<v Speaker 1>wrestling EO Sky, So they're going to rekindle their few
<v Speaker 1>their heat from earlier this year. But you just look
<v Speaker 1>at these two tournaments and it's all about the Judgment Day.
<v Speaker 1>Dom's going to the semi finals, Raquel's going to the
<v Speaker 1>semi finals. Live. Morgan's the fucking world champion. She shouldn't
<v Speaker 1>even be in the tournament. She's in the opening round
<v Speaker 1>next week. She may well make it to the semi
<v Speaker 1>finals on her side of the bracket. I'm not really
<v Speaker 1>expecting any member of the Judgment Day to actually win
<v Speaker 1>either of these tournaments. But that's not even the point.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you could kind of look at it and go, man,
<v Speaker 1>this eh. You know, I wouldn't fault you if you
<v Speaker 1>felt that way, because that's kind of how I feel
<v Speaker 1>about it. Raquel winning though, I can't say that that's
<v Speaker 1>an upset though, because it kind of makes sense. I
<v Speaker 1>was hoping it would go a different way. But Raquel winning,
<v Speaker 1>I think was if you were to poll people and
<v Speaker 1>ask them who do you think is going to win
<v Speaker 1>the match? My guess is that the majority of people
<v Speaker 1>would have voted for Raquel Rodriguez. So that wasn't really
<v Speaker 1>a surprise. The DOM win was a surprise, and so
<v Speaker 1>now we'll find out. We'll find out are they gonna
<v Speaker 1>go all the way with the Raquel thing in this
<v Speaker 1>tournament where she actually wins Queen of the Ring, because
<v Speaker 1>they certainly are laying the groundwork here for not even
<v Speaker 1>laying the groundwork for tension. We're getting tension, but they're
<v Speaker 1>laying the groundwork for a big explosion between Live Morgan
<v Speaker 1>and Quel Rodriguez. Whether or not they use the King
<v Speaker 1>of the Ring and Queen of the Ring is a
<v Speaker 1>way to get her a championship match, right because she
<v Speaker 1>could choose the champion of her of her choosing. In
<v Speaker 1>theory Raquel wins, she's getting a title shot against liv
<v Speaker 1>Morgan at SummerSlam. Is that how they're gonna go about
<v Speaker 1>doing it? They again have Raquel win the entire thing,
<v Speaker 1>and that's how we finally get to her and Live
<v Speaker 1>that's a possibility as well. Dom winning the Kick of
<v Speaker 1>the Ring is not happening. So whether he gets bounced
<v Speaker 1>in the semis or he gets bounced in the finals
<v Speaker 1>kind of feels like a waste of a spot to me.
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys, he lost tonight. Now he is in the
<v Speaker 1>King of the Ring tournament. His match hasn't taken place yet.
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys lost tonight to Tallatonga. Yep, yep, he lost
<v Speaker 1>to Talatoga. And before people go ahead and jump off
<v Speaker 1>the pier, just pump the brakes a little bit, because
<v Speaker 1>as awful as that sounds, and as awful as that is,
<v Speaker 1>it was actually a good night for Royce Keys. And
<v Speaker 1>I'll get into why as we go along here. We
<v Speaker 1>got quite a bit of him on the show tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and that really is the bigger story here. I think
<v Speaker 1>there's gonna be too many people focusing on the fact
<v Speaker 1>that he lost the fucking Talatoga here and not enough
<v Speaker 1>people paying attention to the fact that he's been getting
<v Speaker 1>a lot of screen time on this show, which is
<v Speaker 1>good for him. You know who else got screen time
<v Speaker 1>on this show tonight. Chad Gable, who was conspicuous by
<v Speaker 1>his absence on Raw Monday Night coming off that epic
<v Speaker 1>match that he had on Saturday with El Grande Americano Kaiser.
<v Speaker 1>He was not on Raw. He was on SmackDown tonight.
<v Speaker 1>I got a big pop too. Even though he never
<v Speaker 1>appeared in front of the live audience, when they saw him,
<v Speaker 1>they cheered. He was there to meet with Nick Aldis.
<v Speaker 1>He was there to meet with Ray Phoenix. We'll talk
<v Speaker 1>about why and what he was doing there. Is doesn't
<v Speaker 1>necessarily mean he's on SmackDown, so we'll talk about that
<v Speaker 1>outside of the King and Queen of the Ring stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Honestly pretty standard SmackDown. And for those of you who
<v Speaker 1>may be wondering, wasn't SmackDown supposed to go back to
<v Speaker 1>two hours, I'm glad you asked. In fact, it is
<v Speaker 1>going back to two hours as of June twenty sixth.
<v Speaker 1>I was a little unclear about whether June twenty six
<v Speaker 1>was the last three hour show or the first two
<v Speaker 1>hours sho I'm pretty sure it's the first two hour show.
<v Speaker 1>But June twenty sixth, I believe, is when SmackDown goes
<v Speaker 1>back to two hours. So we got a few more weeks.
<v Speaker 1>We got a few more weeks of this before we
<v Speaker 1>get back to the traditional two hour block of SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>which again will not make the show any better, but
<v Speaker 1>at least it'll be an hour less of what we
<v Speaker 1>have to sit through every single week. That's a good thing. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>what else is a good thing. It's a good thing
<v Speaker 1>that you are here with me because we get to
<v Speaker 1>talk about SmackDown tonight, which sometimes is more entertaining than
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown itself. It is Friday night. It is June fifth,
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six. I am Solomasa. Thank you guys, a
<v Speaker 1>little bit earlier than usual, but not too much earlier
<v Speaker 1>for hanging out with me. Like and subscribe super chats
<v Speaker 1>are open. By the way, I have to show this
<v Speaker 1>because I popped when I saw this. I just thought
<v Speaker 1>this was cool. This has nothing to do with SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, but I will draw your attention to
<v Speaker 1>this and for those of you who are going to
<v Speaker 1>listen to this on the audio. First of all, you
<v Speaker 1>know The Dark Knight is my favorite movie of all time,
<v Speaker 1>So I got to give a hat tip to them
<v Speaker 1>for this poster. There is a poster that AW put
<v Speaker 1>together and put up on their social media earlier today,
<v Speaker 1>which is on your screen right now. If you remember
<v Speaker 1>the Dark Knight movie poster from back in the day
<v Speaker 1>or one of them at least. This is a takeoff
<v Speaker 1>of that with the TNT Champion the Jet Kevin Knight. See,
<v Speaker 1>this is one of the benefits of being part of
<v Speaker 1>the Warner Brothers family is being able to do stuff
<v Speaker 1>like this and tap into this ip. But you know
<v Speaker 1>what's so great about this poster and why it fits
<v Speaker 1>so well because Kevin Knight is in fact a dark Knight.
<v Speaker 1>There's no lies in that statement. So this poster works
<v Speaker 1>and just a multitude of ways. But I saw this
<v Speaker 1>because they're having their Summer Blockbusters show this coming Wednesday,
<v Speaker 1>and I said, man, that's a badass poster. So I
<v Speaker 1>had to show that chats are open. Get them on in.
<v Speaker 1>You'll see them popping up on your screen periodically here
<v Speaker 1>and I'll be reading your messages a little bit later on.
<v Speaker 1>And we have a wheel that needs to be spun,
<v Speaker 1>so we can find out how many likes we need
<v Speaker 1>to do be the booker? Later on? Will we will
<v Speaker 1>we do be the booker? That's the question. Let's find
<v Speaker 1>out five point fifteen, all right, kind of steep, kind
<v Speaker 1>of steep. We're at two thirteen right now. We need Hey,
<v Speaker 1>there's Curtis Axel with all the confetti coming out of
<v Speaker 1>his nipples. Curtis Axel, who is no longer incarcerated. He
<v Speaker 1>spent forty eight hours behind bars, but as far as
<v Speaker 1>we know he is a free man. All right. Well,
<v Speaker 1>get to work, guys. Three hundred more likes is what
<v Speaker 1>we need to hit the goal. So Michael call a,
<v Speaker 1>Wade Barrett. They checked in from the desk. Cole was
<v Speaker 1>filling in for Joe Tessitore, who he said was going
<v Speaker 1>to be calling some Zufa boxing this weekend, so he
<v Speaker 1>was unavailable. Can't wait for some Zufa boxing. I can't
<v Speaker 1>wait not to watch, so Gunther. He immediately hopped the
<v Speaker 1>barricade while the announcers were talking, and he was in
<v Speaker 1>no mood. He was throwing furniture around. He was pissed,
<v Speaker 1>as he should be after what happened to clash in Italy,
<v Speaker 1>and so he got on the microphone, jumped up on
<v Speaker 1>the announced that's first, got the mic and he mentioned
<v Speaker 1>that his foot was under the bottom rope. He intentionally
<v Speaker 1>placed his foot underneath the bottom rope in order to
<v Speaker 1>kick out, so to speak, and keep the match going
<v Speaker 1>with Cody Rhodes, referee didn't see it. He counted three anyway,
<v Speaker 1>and so he was screwed and he's just again beside
<v Speaker 1>himself here with rage. Said, the referee knows it, Cody
<v Speaker 1>knows it. He accused Cody of cheese stealing what rightfully
<v Speaker 1>belongs to him, and he looked into the camera and
<v Speaker 1>he was about to address Cody, and he was interrupted
<v Speaker 1>by Cody's music. So out comes the WWE champion and
<v Speaker 1>he does his usual entrance. He's all smiles, he's in
<v Speaker 1>his suits, he's smacking hands with the fans. It's just
<v Speaker 1>a jolly old day here for Cody Rhodes, who knows
<v Speaker 1>that he stole one on Sunday and doesn't seem to
<v Speaker 1>give a shit. So he makes his way down. Cody said,
<v Speaker 1>Gunh's right, He's right, said that if Gunh wanted a rematch,
<v Speaker 1>they could do it tonight. Sammy z Ain made his entrance.
<v Speaker 1>Actually sounded to like he got more cheers than Booze,
<v Speaker 1>and he came out. He thanked all of his rider
<v Speaker 1>die fans here in Italia. There's even a Sammy chant
<v Speaker 1>that broke out, said they. He tried to mind his
<v Speaker 1>own business, but he couldn't take it anymore. He said,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther was robbed of his championship opportunity, and again Sammy
<v Speaker 1>was making his way down to the ring. As he
<v Speaker 1>was talking here, he said he knows what that's like,
<v Speaker 1>and he also referred to Cody as the Golden Boy.
<v Speaker 1>He said Cody and Gunther both did him wrong. Gunther
<v Speaker 1>told him to shut up get out of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>So Cody told Sammy, I'm a little busy right now,
<v Speaker 1>as you could tell. Sammy told Cody, you know you're
<v Speaker 1>always blowing me off. What well, hey, uh, you're always
<v Speaker 1>blowing me off when the biggest threat to your championship
<v Speaker 1>may well be looking you right now, straight in the eyes.
<v Speaker 1>Cody asked, oh, is that so? And then Sammy brought
<v Speaker 1>up Cody one saying that he would teach him a
<v Speaker 1>lesson after he beat Gunther. He said, Cody beat Gunther,
<v Speaker 1>and he asked, when are you going to teach me
<v Speaker 1>that lesson? When am I going to learn this lesson?
<v Speaker 1>So Gunther got into the ring. He shoved Cody into Sammy,
<v Speaker 1>and Gunther fought with both of them. They ended up
<v Speaker 1>on the floor, or he and Sammy did. Anyway, Cody
<v Speaker 1>went for a suicide dive. Gunther moved, and so Cody
<v Speaker 1>in it virtually struck Sammy on the suicide dive, which
<v Speaker 1>is not going to make Sammy very happy. And Cody
<v Speaker 1>he looked like, you know, he was showing remorse for
<v Speaker 1>what he had done, and he offered his hand to Sammy,
<v Speaker 1>who blew him off and got up on his own
<v Speaker 1>and he walked away. So I was happy that again
<v Speaker 1>Gunther came out and he was all full of anger
<v Speaker 1>and rage. I mean, again, there were just times where
<v Speaker 1>people will lose matches and then they'll come out as
<v Speaker 1>if nothing ever happened didn't really phase them. They're no
<v Speaker 1>selling it. You can't do that in a situation like this.
<v Speaker 1>So that was, you know, kind of needed here. Now
<v Speaker 1>we learned later on in the show when the match
<v Speaker 1>is going to be taking place between Cody and Gunther again,
<v Speaker 1>it will not be at Knight of Champions. And I
<v Speaker 1>think you see the seeds being planted over all of
<v Speaker 1>these weeks with Cody and Sammy and you're like, where
<v Speaker 1>is this going? Right? Is what is the end game here?
<v Speaker 1>What is the end goal here? I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>it's the end goal, but it seems to me like
<v Speaker 1>the goal may be to get all three of them
<v Speaker 1>in the ring to get in Ria. It almost has
<v Speaker 1>to be that way now, right, they're doing Cody and
<v Speaker 1>gun there on the nineteenth, We'll find out what the
<v Speaker 1>stipulation is and then you either run it back with
<v Speaker 1>all three of them involved, or I suppose they could
<v Speaker 1>just blow it off on the nineteenth and then just
<v Speaker 1>do Cody and Sammy and Rhea, but that just doesn't
<v Speaker 1>seem very likely to me. It would be something though,
<v Speaker 1>at the end of all of this, you know, people
<v Speaker 1>are talking about Gun there, they're talking about Randy Orton
<v Speaker 1>might come back, and you know who else could Cody
<v Speaker 1>wrestle at Summer Slam. It could be, you know, Cody
<v Speaker 1>and Roman is being teased. It would be kind of
<v Speaker 1>funny if at the end of all of this, whether
<v Speaker 1>it's Summer Slam or whenever, Sammy's Ain, finally wins the
<v Speaker 1>big one and it's from Cody. I mean, look, he's
<v Speaker 1>in the mix, right, I'm not saying that that's what's
<v Speaker 1>going to happen. I'm just saying he's at least in
<v Speaker 1>the mix, and he's got an interesting thing going on
<v Speaker 1>here where he comes at. He's mostly booed now, although
<v Speaker 1>he does have his pockets of fans, and I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>you can call it delusion, but he comes out and
<v Speaker 1>thanking his Rider Die fans, and usually when he does,
<v Speaker 1>he gets booed like he's the only one who believes
<v Speaker 1>he has Rider Die fans. He did in Bologna tonight,
<v Speaker 1>though again he was getting cheered by a lot of people.
<v Speaker 1>So his character arc has kind of gotten it's gotten interesting,
<v Speaker 1>which is good because for a while there Sammy was
<v Speaker 1>just he was just there, right, he was just on
<v Speaker 1>the show. There was nothing terribly interesting about anything that
<v Speaker 1>he was doing. And now he's got an interesting thing going,
<v Speaker 1>you know, where he's a heel, but maybe not totally
<v Speaker 1>and it just kind of varies by the week. At
<v Speaker 1>least there's something interesting now about his character in a
<v Speaker 1>way that wasn't even just a few months ago. Then
<v Speaker 1>we go backstage and the Miz was walking and he
<v Speaker 1>was facetiming with Kit Wilson, still unable to make it overseas.
<v Speaker 1>I guess try to smuggle in too much moisturizer. Was
<v Speaker 1>that the story? Apparently he's just banned from Italy. He
<v Speaker 1>cannot get it to Italy. So MS was venting about
<v Speaker 1>the Calves losing too bad, and also Miles Garrett being
<v Speaker 1>traded by the Cleveland Browns. And then he walks or
<v Speaker 1>comes upon dan Housen's laboratory. He's still on FaceTime with
<v Speaker 1>Kit Wilson, and he walks in and he went to
<v Speaker 1>go lift up the sheet to reveal the undead baron Corbin,
<v Speaker 1>but before he could, Dan Housen told him, don't touch that.
<v Speaker 1>So then Miz started touching various things and dan Housen's
<v Speaker 1>telling him, don't touch that, don't touch that. Mis pushes
<v Speaker 1>this over, he shoves that over, and the last thing
<v Speaker 1>that he touched, dan Housen was like, especially, don't touch that,
<v Speaker 1>and he touched it and he got electrocuted. Then he
<v Speaker 1>fell to the floor, and then dan Housen picked something
<v Speaker 1>up off the floor that he ate and then he
<v Speaker 1>walked off, and then the last shot was of Mis
<v Speaker 1>just frozen and stunned on the ground and the phone
<v Speaker 1>was laying on the floor and Kit Wilson was still
<v Speaker 1>on the phone. Comedy comedy. This was. That comedy led
<v Speaker 1>into our first tournament match of the night, which was
<v Speaker 1>a Queen of the Ring match four Way Bailey where
<v Speaker 1>Cael Rodriguez, j C Jane, and Keanna James who brought
<v Speaker 1>Julia out with her. So Julia got another appearance here
<v Speaker 1>in Italy. She wrestled on Monday night, took the losing fall,
<v Speaker 1>but at least she got to wrestle, and so tonight
<v Speaker 1>it looked like she was maybe not going to come
<v Speaker 1>to the ring with Kana. Keanna kind of insisted that
<v Speaker 1>she come down with her, and so that that right there.
<v Speaker 1>That and also the issues that they've been having recently,
<v Speaker 1>should have told you that something was going to happen here.
<v Speaker 1>I think we even talked about this last week that
<v Speaker 1>or somebody brought it up, maybe in a super chat
<v Speaker 1>like on this show, because we didn't even know at
<v Speaker 1>the time that she was going to be wrestling on Monday, right,
<v Speaker 1>why would she be on raw? We figure, well, she
<v Speaker 1>has no match a clash in Italy. At least maybe
<v Speaker 1>they'll shoot the angle on this show to split her
<v Speaker 1>in Keana, which is what they did here. When this
<v Speaker 1>match was over, so late in the match, Jce hit
<v Speaker 1>Julia with a cheap shot on the floor Jacy Jane.
<v Speaker 1>Julia was not in the match, but she got hit
<v Speaker 1>with a shot by Jace anyway, So Jace climbed up
<v Speaker 1>on the apron. Bailey sent her back to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>And in the ring, Keanna rolled up Bailey and she
<v Speaker 1>was using the ropes for leverage. She put her feet
<v Speaker 1>on the ropes. Jace, who was outside, shoved her feet
<v Speaker 1>off the ropes. So Julia punched Jace. But when Keana
<v Speaker 1>turned around to see who the hell just broke up
<v Speaker 1>this pin, she didn't see Jace Jane, she saw Julia,
<v Speaker 1>and she assumed that Julia did it, and she was
<v Speaker 1>very upset, and so the two of them started arguing.
<v Speaker 1>Bailey then put Keana down with a rose plant. Jace
<v Speaker 1>dropped Bailey with her rolling encore finish, but then Raquel
<v Speaker 1>blasted her with a big boot, and Raquel put Keana
<v Speaker 1>down with the Tehana bomb, stacked her and pinned her
<v Speaker 1>to advance to the semi finals of the Queen of
<v Speaker 1>the Ring. Raquel Rodriguez is moving on. She will rekindle
<v Speaker 1>her feud from earlier this year with Eo Sky And
<v Speaker 1>as much as I want too to win EO, like,
<v Speaker 1>if you were to ask me, who do you want
<v Speaker 1>to win Queen of the Ring and who do I
<v Speaker 1>think probably does have the best shot, I would say,
<v Speaker 1>Eo Sky. I like the idea of Veo challenging frankly
<v Speaker 1>for either championship. I mean, obviously there's a story there.
<v Speaker 1>She wants to wrestle Rhea for the title at SummerSlam,
<v Speaker 1>but her and Live would be great. I think is
<v Speaker 1>a title match on that show too. So that's who
<v Speaker 1>I want to see wing Raquel Rodriguez. Though again, they're
<v Speaker 1>doing these these things where liv Morgan will make these
<v Speaker 1>comments and she did it on Mondays. She did it
<v Speaker 1>again tonight where I'm in the tournament, I want it all.
<v Speaker 1>Me and Dom are going to be the King and Queen,
<v Speaker 1>and Raquel's like, uh hello, Like I'm in the tournament too,
<v Speaker 1>and she oh yeah, yea, yea or you or you,
<v Speaker 1>either one of us will win either way the day wins, right,
<v Speaker 1>But she's always like making comments like that, and so
<v Speaker 1>again she's like poking the bear, and so they're teasing it.
<v Speaker 1>Raquel winning and then challenging Live for the championship very
<v Speaker 1>possible because they were kind of trending in that direction
<v Speaker 1>anyway a few months ago, in the lead up to
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania or even the r didn't Live eliminate Raquel from
<v Speaker 1>the rumble. I think she did. And so they were
<v Speaker 1>teasing this stuff. They were teasing this stuff a few
<v Speaker 1>months ago, and then they sort of just dropped it
<v Speaker 1>and they really got away from the living Raquel stuff,
<v Speaker 1>and so now they're finally circling back to it. You
<v Speaker 1>can't discount the possibility Raquel goes all the way. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think she needs to win Queen of the Ring
<v Speaker 1>to get there, though, you know it's not needed. You
<v Speaker 1>can still get there. She doesn't have to win the crown.
<v Speaker 1>But Julia checked on Keana, helped her to her feet. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>Vendom Cantetsu, thank you, by the way for the for
<v Speaker 1>the bre mode. Brie was on the show too. By
<v Speaker 1>the way, Bree got her ass kicked. Brie was on
<v Speaker 1>camera for like five seconds and got her ass kicked.
<v Speaker 1>Wemby is scared. Yeah, what's going on with Wemby. They're
<v Speaker 1>beating up on poor Wemby in the in the Spurs game.
<v Speaker 1>Come on, man, this is the time you got it.
<v Speaker 1>You got a nut up here. This is where boys
<v Speaker 1>become men. This is where you show your championship colors here.
<v Speaker 1>Julia checks on Keana after the match and helps her
<v Speaker 1>to her feet, and Keanu shoves her and tells her
<v Speaker 1>get off me, and so she shoves her again and
<v Speaker 1>says that we're done. The fans are booing. Julia then
<v Speaker 1>attacks her and the fans cheer, right of course they would,
<v Speaker 1>They're in Italy. So she tackles her, the fans cheer.
<v Speaker 1>She hits her with a kick, and Keana rolls out
<v Speaker 1>of the ring. So they did, in fact save the
<v Speaker 1>split for Italy. Julia got a nice pop out of it.
<v Speaker 1>Is that going to translate when they're back in the States,
<v Speaker 1>That's the question. Because one of the things about Julia,
<v Speaker 1>even when she was the United States champion, she would
<v Speaker 1>go out there and get no reaction and it was sad.
<v Speaker 1>It was sad. She would go out there and the
<v Speaker 1>crowd was dead, silent. It's like when Zelina Vega was
<v Speaker 1>the champion, you know, when she would go out there,
<v Speaker 1>no reaction. There were just some some people on the
<v Speaker 1>show will go out there and it was like, crickets.
<v Speaker 1>Is this suddenly going to change that for Julia? I
<v Speaker 1>hope she can get something going. I really at this point,
<v Speaker 1>if you were to have asked me, okay, the split
<v Speaker 1>has now happened. They're gonna wrestle, right, They'll have a
<v Speaker 1>match at some point. Who is WW going to hitch
<v Speaker 1>their wagon too? They could only hitch it to one.
<v Speaker 1>The answer is Keana James. Keana James has the potential
<v Speaker 1>to be women's World Champion, Like you could tell that
<v Speaker 1>they see her in that light too. Even going back
<v Speaker 1>to the beginning of the year, I think she had
<v Speaker 1>a really goo showing in the rumble. I believe she
<v Speaker 1>was in the chamber. Kind of reminded me of Roxanne
<v Speaker 1>Perez last year, who also had like the longest ever
<v Speaker 1>performance in a Royal Rumble, And I think she was
<v Speaker 1>in the chamber and she looked good. I think that
<v Speaker 1>they see big things in the future for Kiana. Kanna
<v Speaker 1>is She's very good and she's improving, I think with
<v Speaker 1>each performance that we see, and I think they see
<v Speaker 1>her as a future champion. I don't know that they
<v Speaker 1>look at Julia the same way. You know, if I
<v Speaker 1>had to put money down on who I think is
<v Speaker 1>going to get the opportunity to go further and who's
<v Speaker 1>going to get the bigger push out of the two
<v Speaker 1>of them, I think the answer is Keana. I think
<v Speaker 1>she's the priority over Julia. I think when they put
<v Speaker 1>them together, she was the priority. Some people just didn't
<v Speaker 1>realize it at the time, but we could look back
<v Speaker 1>on it now and say, you know what, I think
<v Speaker 1>this was just a way to get Kana into the mix.
<v Speaker 1>But for Julia's sake. Look, I hope she can get
<v Speaker 1>something going. I hope Triple H can really you know,
<v Speaker 1>get behind him. But I don't know. I don't have
<v Speaker 1>as much optimism for what her future looks like here
<v Speaker 1>as much as I do Kiana Keana. I think is
<v Speaker 1>is gonna go places in Julia right now. It's fifty
<v Speaker 1>to fifty now. Backstage, also, Sammy's name was venting to
<v Speaker 1>a comatose, catatonic Johnny Gargano. Wait wait until we get
<v Speaker 1>to the sound off this weekend. I have a small
<v Speaker 1>little news item. I'm gonna save it for later in
<v Speaker 1>the podcast, and it's not about Johnny Gargano per se.
<v Speaker 1>But uh, when I mentioned when I mentioned this, this, uh,
<v Speaker 1>this stat I'll mention Johnny's name because he's kind of
<v Speaker 1>part of it. It's just gonna it's gonna make you
<v Speaker 1>shake your head. It's gonna make you shake you It
<v Speaker 1>has to do with two K twenty six. It's gonna
<v Speaker 1>make you shake your head. But anyway, say he's venting
<v Speaker 1>to Johnny Gargano because he's waiting for Nick Aldis, who
<v Speaker 1>shows up and he tells Sammy stay out of Cody
<v Speaker 1>and Gunther's business, and all this accuses Sammy of making
<v Speaker 1>a bad situation worse, and Sammy's like, how did I
<v Speaker 1>do that? All this said, look, he had to go
<v Speaker 1>to a meeting, and Sammy was very upset about being
<v Speaker 1>blown off yet again, so he asked him, who's so
<v Speaker 1>important that I can't get a minute of your time?
<v Speaker 1>And all this says, well, if you must know, and
<v Speaker 1>he motions to someone who is standing behind Sammy, and
<v Speaker 1>it's Chad Gable. Chad Gable has appeared on SmackDown. He's
<v Speaker 1>in a suit. He gets a big pop too, you
<v Speaker 1>could hear it from the crowd in the arena. And
<v Speaker 1>so we have a brief stare down between Sammy and Chad,
<v Speaker 1>and then Nick all this motions Gable into his office
<v Speaker 1>so that they can chat chat about what we don't know, right,
<v Speaker 1>maybe the possibility of him working on SmackDown. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>This was not the last time we would see Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gable on this show, so we'll talk more about him later.
<v Speaker 1>I'll have things tightened in the game. Let's see. Ooh oh,
<v Speaker 1>my tie game. A tie game with under three minutes left. See,
<v Speaker 1>that's that's what you call exciting. Playoff basketball could go
<v Speaker 1>either way. Now. It's a must win though for the Spurs.
<v Speaker 1>Spurs have to wait. I mean, if they lose this,
<v Speaker 1>it's I mean just psychologically, that's a tough thing to
<v Speaker 1>come back from. But they have gone on a fourteen
<v Speaker 1>and oh run to tie it up? How about that.
<v Speaker 1>I'll keep you posted. But you know what's more exciting
<v Speaker 1>than this. We gotta move on. You know why, because
<v Speaker 1>we have something far more exciting than this. We have
<v Speaker 1>Roy's Keys against Tallatanga. And I know all of you
<v Speaker 1>are waiting with baited breath for me to talk about this.
<v Speaker 1>I've been waiting since I heard that this match was
<v Speaker 1>booked for this show. I have goosebumps on my arm
<v Speaker 1>for this match. Now. Talatanga had Solo Socoa and Tomatonga
<v Speaker 1>in his corner outside the ring. I'm gonna skip ahead
<v Speaker 1>and save you the pain here of the early portion
<v Speaker 1>of this keys he attempted to body slam Talatoga and
<v Speaker 1>had to pretend that he couldn't, even though we know
<v Speaker 1>he can, but he pretended that he couldn't, so he
<v Speaker 1>fell down on top of Roys Keys. He did eventually
<v Speaker 1>get him up for a power slam though, late in
<v Speaker 1>the match, and then the straps came down. Solo Soka
<v Speaker 1>gets up on the apron to run distraction while Toma
<v Speaker 1>tried to interfere, and so he ate. There was a
<v Speaker 1>weird miscommunication on this spot where Tomatonga he kind of
<v Speaker 1>ran towards the steps and he was going to launch
<v Speaker 1>himself off the steps for what I don't know, and
<v Speaker 1>then Keys kind of sort of caught him with a
<v Speaker 1>punch on the way down. I don't know if he
<v Speaker 1>was supposed to. This is very weird the way this
<v Speaker 1>sul came off. But anyway, Tomatonga he ate a punch
<v Speaker 1>from Royce Keys. So Keys gets back into the ring,
<v Speaker 1>but he gets mowed down by a big boot and
<v Speaker 1>then a choke slam and Tala Toga pins Royce Keys
<v Speaker 1>in the middle of the ring. Here on SmackDown, I repeat,
<v Speaker 1>Tala Tonga pinned Royce Keys. Now, after the match, Solo
<v Speaker 1>had the two Tongans go on the attack until our
<v Speaker 1>Truth ran out to make the save. Damian Priest then
<v Speaker 1>ran out, not to make the save for Roy's keys.
<v Speaker 1>Though he was pulling our Truth away saying, what are
<v Speaker 1>you doing? Why are you doing this? This has nothing
<v Speaker 1>to do with us, Leave it alone you, and he
<v Speaker 1>pulled him away and off they went. He didn't want
<v Speaker 1>him to have anything to do with Roy's keys, and
<v Speaker 1>so that left Keys open for the not so hidden
<v Speaker 1>blade from Tomatonga, and so Royce Keys was left lane.
<v Speaker 1>So Solo then kind of took a knee by Royce.
<v Speaker 1>And Royce is laying there on the mat and Solo says,
<v Speaker 1>it didn't have to be like this, but you just
<v Speaker 1>won't listen. He told Keys, join the family, Join the family.
<v Speaker 1>Well that's not ideal. You never want to hear the
<v Speaker 1>words Talatanga beat Royce Keys. But that's so what they
<v Speaker 1>did tonight. Now you know my thoughts on the MFT stuff.
<v Speaker 1>But the reality is this. If they're prepping the MFTs
<v Speaker 1>for some sort of battle, some sort of bloodlined civil war,
<v Speaker 1>dare I say another fucking war Games match later this
<v Speaker 1>year with bloodline two point zero over on Raw, then
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna do everything in their power to keep these
<v Speaker 1>guys looking strong, and that includes Tomatonga, Tallatanga, Solo Socoa,
<v Speaker 1>all three of them. This is what they're gonna do
<v Speaker 1>until eventually we get that battle, which they certainly teased
<v Speaker 1>come out of Clash in Italy. So that's just the
<v Speaker 1>reality of the situation. They're gonna want these guys to
<v Speaker 1>come out looking strong. But I think, here, here's my
<v Speaker 1>takeaway from all this, or maybe me trying to look
<v Speaker 1>at the half glass or the glass half full. Him
<v Speaker 1>taking the laws here, Fine, it's not a big deal.
<v Speaker 1>And the reason that I kind of say that is
<v Speaker 1>this Royce Keys had a match on this show. The
<v Speaker 1>more important takeaway is how many times he showed up.
<v Speaker 1>He had at least three different sect maybe four, I
<v Speaker 1>think three three different segments on this show he had
<v Speaker 1>this match and then I think two different backstage segments.
<v Speaker 1>And this has kind of been a pattern with him
<v Speaker 1>where he's getting screen time across the show in multiple segments.
<v Speaker 1>And I kind of mentioned this like with the judgment
<v Speaker 1>day on Raw, even when the judgment day, like the
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day is not at its peak anymore, but they
<v Speaker 1>still get a lot of screen time on that show.
<v Speaker 1>They're all over the fucking show. And that's the key
<v Speaker 1>that's to me, that tells me when it comes to
<v Speaker 1>w who they prioritize and who they don't. You don't
<v Speaker 1>see Julia in fucking three, four or five segments a
<v Speaker 1>week on Smacked, and if she gets one, she's lucky.
<v Speaker 1>But if Royce Keys is having a match and he's
<v Speaker 1>in this backstage segment with Our Truth, and he's in
<v Speaker 1>this backstage segment with Solo Siko, or he's bumping into
<v Speaker 1>Jacob Fatu, he's getting screen time on these shows. He's
<v Speaker 1>getting FaceTime. That is more important than losing here to Taalatanga.
<v Speaker 1>Unless it becomes a pattern, then it becomes a problem.
<v Speaker 1>But I look at it and go, Okay, they obviously
<v Speaker 1>you know are are you know? They have plans for him,
<v Speaker 1>they have ideas for him, they're using him, and so
<v Speaker 1>that to me is more important than him taking a
<v Speaker 1>loss here in this match. That's how we have to
<v Speaker 1>look at it. Now, Damian Priest, you know him doing
<v Speaker 1>this stuff, I get like, oh, I don't trust this guy.
<v Speaker 1>He comes off very heelish when he does this. But again,
<v Speaker 1>the more I look at all of this stuff. I
<v Speaker 1>think in the end we are gonna probably get Royce
<v Speaker 1>Key is aligning with Solo Socoa, whether it's just full
<v Speaker 1>on joining the MFTs or just sort of aligning loosely
<v Speaker 1>with them, I think that's where we're headed here. And
<v Speaker 1>I think Damian Priest in the end will probably be
<v Speaker 1>proven true, even though he looks like a dick every
<v Speaker 1>single time he's you know, blowing our truth off. No,
<v Speaker 1>I don't trust this guy. Fuck this guy. In the end,
<v Speaker 1>he'll probably be proven true, you know, right, everything he's saying.
<v Speaker 1>But I look at it and go the MFTs only
<v Speaker 1>have three guys. They have Solo Socoa, and they have
<v Speaker 1>the two Tonguins, and that's it. And if they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>go to war with the Bloodline, if they're going to
<v Speaker 1>be in a war games match with the Bloodline, they
<v Speaker 1>need a fourth person. Well who would that fourth person be?
<v Speaker 1>Who's the guy that Solo Socoa has continued to try
<v Speaker 1>and recruit every single week now for what feels like
<v Speaker 1>six weeks now, Royce Keys, and he keeps saying no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>no no, and Solo won't let up. And he's planting
<v Speaker 1>all of these ideas in his mind, and again there
<v Speaker 1>was another segment later on that I'm going to talk
<v Speaker 1>about it. Sure feels like at the end of all
<v Speaker 1>this he probably is going to end up siding with
<v Speaker 1>Solo Soco. I think that's probably where this is headed.
<v Speaker 1>Liv Morgan, Dominic, Mysterio, JD McDonough. They were all standing
<v Speaker 1>in a stairwell backstage and applauding Raquel. Rodriguez on her
<v Speaker 1>Win Live said that if they both win, they can
<v Speaker 1>meet in the finals of the tournament and then one
<v Speaker 1>of them could take the WWE Championship away from Ria Ripley,
<v Speaker 1>and Live said something about her and don being the
<v Speaker 1>King and Queen and again that upset Raquel. Little seed
<v Speaker 1>being planted there as well. Every single week. It's just
<v Speaker 1>like a little comment here, in, a little comment there,
<v Speaker 1>and Raquel is getting more and more irritated with this woman. Backstage,
<v Speaker 1>our Truth is asking why Damian Prize didn't want to help,
<v Speaker 1>and Price said that Truth is his priority because they're
<v Speaker 1>the tag team champions. Truth asked him if he should
<v Speaker 1>check on Roy's key, and Priest asked, what are you doing.
<v Speaker 1>You're not a doctor. Truth said that my brother is
<v Speaker 1>a doctor, and Priest said, you don't have a brother,
<v Speaker 1>and so Truth said, you know something about the Doctor
<v Speaker 1>of Phogonomics. You can't see me, ha ha ha. Against
<v Speaker 1>supposed to be funny, So Priest walks away. Truth is
<v Speaker 1>there by himself and enter the war Raiders with their
<v Speaker 1>brand new Triple A Tag Team championships, to no reaction
<v Speaker 1>from the crowd out in the arena, like Chad Gable
<v Speaker 1>before when they showed him on screen, big reaction, big
<v Speaker 1>cheers from the fans. The war Raiders walk in, they
<v Speaker 1>got their new belts that they just won from Psycho
<v Speaker 1>Clown and Pagano the other night. No reaction, so they
<v Speaker 1>tell our Truth, look, let us know when you want
<v Speaker 1>to put those WWE Tag team titles up against our
<v Speaker 1>Triple A Tag Team titles. And Truth blew them off
<v Speaker 1>and said that I've never met you guys before, and
<v Speaker 1>he walked off. The war Raiders are so ice cold
<v Speaker 1>nobody that nobody reacted, And there may well have been
<v Speaker 1>people who had no idea initially when they first walked it.
<v Speaker 1>Because we haven't seen them on Raw or SmackDown in
<v Speaker 1>months now, they don't look radically different from the last
<v Speaker 1>time we saw them, but still there probably were some
<v Speaker 1>people who initially were like, wait, who is that? What
<v Speaker 1>belts did that? Do they have there? Again? Like, it's
<v Speaker 1>just it's sad. It really just reminds you of what
<v Speaker 1>the state of this tag team division used to be
<v Speaker 1>on SmackDown, not even that long ago, a year ago, right,
<v Speaker 1>a little over a year ago, not even eighteen months.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you had DIY and you had the MotorCity
<v Speaker 1>machine Guns, and you had the Street Profits Phraxium. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure I'm missing you know, one or two more hot
<v Speaker 1>ten team division on SmackDown. And now we have Damian
<v Speaker 1>Priest in Our Truth as the tag team Champions, and
<v Speaker 1>now the Triple A Tag Team Champions, who are Raw
<v Speaker 1>stars who haven't even been seen on Raw in months,
<v Speaker 1>are walking in and saying, hey, we want to shout
<v Speaker 1>at the WWE tag team titles. I'm like, how did
<v Speaker 1>we get here? How did we get from where we
<v Speaker 1>were a year ago, twelve fifteen months ago on SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>to the state that we're in now. It's depressing. We
<v Speaker 1>have the WWE Women's Champion, Rhea Ripley, who made her entrance,
<v Speaker 1>made her way down to the ring. Michael Cole noted
<v Speaker 1>on commentary that Ria's grandparents were born in Italy. Eventually
<v Speaker 1>they moved to Australia. I mean, she was gonna get
<v Speaker 1>a big reaction anyway, but she gets in the ring
<v Speaker 1>and she says that Jade tried to play the numbers
<v Speaker 1>game at Clash in Italy, but she failed to take
<v Speaker 1>her out. However, Rihea said that she got a little
<v Speaker 1>help from someone unexpected, and that brought out Charlotte Flair.
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte said that she knew Rhea didn't ask for her help,
<v Speaker 1>but she had Ripley's back because she respects her. She
<v Speaker 1>said that she's had fun teaming with her lately, and
<v Speaker 1>she talked about winning the Queen of the Ring qualifier
<v Speaker 1>the sheet or or a first round match that she
<v Speaker 1>has coming up next week. Business is business. Though she's
<v Speaker 1>gonna win that match, She's gonna go to the finals.
<v Speaker 1>She's gonna win, and she's gonna challenge and beat Rhea
<v Speaker 1>Ripley for her championship. So Tiffany Stratton came out, the
<v Speaker 1>women's United States champion. Charlotte asked if Tiffany was there
<v Speaker 1>to apologize to her, and Stratton said that she was
<v Speaker 1>actually there for Rhea. I'm not here for you. Stratton
<v Speaker 1>said that she looks damn good with the US title,
<v Speaker 1>but she wants that one. That brought out Jade, Cargill,
<v Speaker 1>b Fab and Meechen. Jade said that she would make
<v Speaker 1>sure that Charlotte's side quest was rewarded, telling her to
<v Speaker 1>look at your stick friend Alexa. Alexa Bliss was not
<v Speaker 1>there tonight. Jade told Tiffany stay out of grown folks business.
<v Speaker 1>She told Ria to enjoy her title while she can,
<v Speaker 1>and she said she was coming for what was hers,
<v Speaker 1>and she started to walk towards the rink. She started
<v Speaker 1>her promo in the aisle. Nick all This came out
<v Speaker 1>and told Jade and her baddies to stop. He mentioned
<v Speaker 1>that Ria was not medically cleared. Charlotte had an idea.
<v Speaker 1>I know Ria's not cleared, but how about this, and Tiffany,
<v Speaker 1>you and I don't have to like each other, but
<v Speaker 1>what if tonight it was you and me and we
<v Speaker 1>take on Jade and one of her backup dancers, she said,
<v Speaker 1>And so all this booked Jade and Meechen against Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>and Tiffany right after this commercial break. This week's episode

<v Speaker 1>com Slash Harmony. We had a tag team at Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>Stratton and Charlie at Flair against Jade Cargill and Miechen.
<v Speaker 1>Meechin hit a styles clash. Not the first time that
<v Speaker 1>we've seen somebody recently hit a styles clash. In fact, well,
<v Speaker 1>Osprey just did one. I think did he do one
<v Speaker 1>on Wednesday in his match with Mark Davis. I know
<v Speaker 1>he did one in the match with Samoa Joe, which
<v Speaker 1>was impressive. Even aj Styles was like, yeah, I mean
<v Speaker 1>that was impressive. Giving a styles clash to Samoa Jo
<v Speaker 1>is not an easy thing to do, he said. Meechin
<v Speaker 1>doing a styles clash didn't look quite as impressive as
<v Speaker 1>Osprey doing it to Samoa Joe, but she had her
<v Speaker 1>pinned Tiffany broke up the fall. A little while later,
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany tagged in, put Meechin down with an Alabama slam
<v Speaker 1>and then hit a swanton bomb only for a near fall, though,
<v Speaker 1>so Jade tagged in. Stratton, though hit a stunner and
<v Speaker 1>had her pinned until Meachen broke things up. Jade came
<v Speaker 1>back with a sit out power bomb, only for a two,
<v Speaker 1>so Tiffany reached for a tag Michin, though yanked Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>off the apron ran Meechin into the ring post, but
<v Speaker 1>then befab dropped Charlotte with a big boot. Jade hit
<v Speaker 1>a distracted Tiffany Stratton with a pump kick and then
<v Speaker 1>set up for Jaded. Tiffany though counter it out into
<v Speaker 1>a pin attempt. Stratton then hit Jade with a rolling
<v Speaker 1>sent on. She was about to go for the prettiest
<v Speaker 1>moonsalt ever. Jade cut her off, knocked her off the
<v Speaker 1>top rope, crouched her, and then got her in position
<v Speaker 1>for Jaded, and she dropped her face first, planted her
<v Speaker 1>down on the mat for Jaded, and she got the
<v Speaker 1>pin one, two three, and Jade Cargill pins the United
<v Speaker 1>States champion. Here in this tag team match, Jade is
<v Speaker 1>out of the world title picture and she ain't going
<v Speaker 1>back into it. I just don't see that. So in
<v Speaker 1>the meantime, what they have to do is keep her
<v Speaker 1>strong because she's still in an opening round four way
<v Speaker 1>match and the Queen of the Ring tournament next week
<v Speaker 1>it's going to be her, It's going to be Charlotte,
<v Speaker 1>and then whoever else is in that match. I don't
<v Speaker 1>have the bracket in front of me. Let me put
<v Speaker 1>the bracket up real quick here. Just remind myself here
<v Speaker 1>of who is in the the match. Lyra, Valkyria and
<v Speaker 1>soul Ruka are in the match next week with Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>and Jade. So they want to keep Jade strong going
<v Speaker 1>into this match next week. Whether she wins or not,
<v Speaker 1>I can't. I don't see her winning, but that's that's
<v Speaker 1>why she got the win here. She's out of the
<v Speaker 1>world title picture, but they're not ready to start beating
<v Speaker 1>her like a drum, right. You still got to keep
<v Speaker 1>her looking strong. Maybe she'll end up challenging Tiffany for
<v Speaker 1>the US title. Now that she's not going to be
<v Speaker 1>challenging for the world title. Maybe they'll come back around
<v Speaker 1>to this and be like, hey, I pinge in that match. Remember,
<v Speaker 1>they could do that if they want to. They can
<v Speaker 1>get a TV match out of it, you know, later
<v Speaker 1>in the month next month, they could Saturday Night's Made Event.
<v Speaker 1>Next month, they could do Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton
<v Speaker 1>for the United States Championship. I'm not saying I want
<v Speaker 1>to see it. I'm just saying they can do it
<v Speaker 1>if they wanted to. Backstage j C. Jane was venting
<v Speaker 1>about her loss. She was talking to Fallon, Henley and
<v Speaker 1>Laney Read when Kathy Kelly came over wanted to interview them,
<v Speaker 1>but jac spotted something off camera. She walked over and
<v Speaker 1>it was Page and bree bella scream mode. I guess
<v Speaker 1>as some people are now calling them who were in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of a photo session. So all the clicking
<v Speaker 1>and the flashes and everything, so Fatal Influence comes over
<v Speaker 1>to interrupt and Fallon and Laney they attacked the champions
<v Speaker 1>from behind and laid them out, and then they picked
<v Speaker 1>up the women's tag belts and looked at them and
<v Speaker 1>then dropped them next to the champions at a little
<v Speaker 1>just you know, don't forget about us. We're gonna be
<v Speaker 1>coming after these belts real soon. Also backstage, Our Truth
<v Speaker 1>was talking to Royce Keys. There he is again, say
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys, he's all over the place, and he's telling
<v Speaker 1>him that Damian Priee can be a tough nut to crack,
<v Speaker 1>but you're gonna love him once you get to know him.
<v Speaker 1>And Keys was like, look, I don't give a damn
<v Speaker 1>about Damian Price. He doesn't give a damn about me.
<v Speaker 1>He goes, look, you and me were all good, but
<v Speaker 1>if priest wants an issue with me, then he's going
<v Speaker 1>to get one, and off he went. We had a
<v Speaker 1>rematch between Ricky Saints and Carmelo Hayes, who got attacked
<v Speaker 1>before the bell before he could even get his jacket off.
<v Speaker 1>Referee checked with Mellow to see if he was okay,
<v Speaker 1>then he called for the bell. Mello hit a frog
<v Speaker 1>splash for a near fall, all while still wearing his
<v Speaker 1>ring jacket, and then he closedlined Saints over the top
<v Speaker 1>rope to the floor. Later in the match, Hayes went
<v Speaker 1>up top for enoughing Bnett. Saints ran into the ropes
<v Speaker 1>and that sent Carmelo all the way down to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>So Ricky followed him out and Hayes ended up diving
<v Speaker 1>at him, but he caught him with a shot right
<v Speaker 1>to the throat. So Melo barely beat the referees count
<v Speaker 1>back inside, Ricky was arguing with the referee. He got
<v Speaker 1>rolled up only for a near fall. Then moments later
<v Speaker 1>Hayes rolled up Saints, who rolled through held the tights
<v Speaker 1>which the referee did not see and with a fistful
<v Speaker 1>of time. Heights or trunks. Trunks would be more appropriate actually, no,
<v Speaker 1>what is mellow? Mellow wears tights, Ricky wears trunks. I
<v Speaker 1>always get them confused. But anyway, he hooked the tights
<v Speaker 1>and he got the pin. He stole one, and Mellow
<v Speaker 1>couldn't believe it. So now, just to recap where we've
<v Speaker 1>been with these two men, Mello he got to win
<v Speaker 1>over Ricky in their first match. In their second match,
<v Speaker 1>we had a double count out, and now Ricky got
<v Speaker 1>to win over Mellow. So we're all we're kind of
<v Speaker 1>all knotted up here, and we're going to be either
<v Speaker 1>setting up for one more singles match or the two
<v Speaker 1>of them are now really in a position where both
<v Speaker 1>of them could challenge Trick Williams for the United States Championship.
<v Speaker 1>We could very well end up with a triple threat match.
<v Speaker 1>They could do that. Not a champions, if not a
<v Speaker 1>champions is going to have most of the titles defended,
<v Speaker 1>that would be the obvious match. You do Mellow, you
<v Speaker 1>do Saints, and you do Trick for the US title. Backstage,
<v Speaker 1>Chelsea Green was talking to Tiffany Stratton and told her
<v Speaker 1>she was surprised that she didn't have her ringside for
<v Speaker 1>her match earlier. Tiffany said well, I didn't think that
<v Speaker 1>I would need you. Chelsea hoped that Tiffany would be
<v Speaker 1>in her corner for her match later, but Tiffany blew
<v Speaker 1>her off again, which is becoming a pattern here. She
<v Speaker 1>really doesn't want to have anything to do with this woman.
<v Speaker 1>After this, we got another Blake Monroe vignette. You know,
<v Speaker 1>am I the only one who finds this very strange.
<v Speaker 1>They started airing these coming soon vignettes many many weeks
<v Speaker 1>ago for Blake Monroe, and then one week she was
<v Speaker 1>at SmackDown. She was backstage ten fifteen seconds. Maybe didn't
<v Speaker 1>say or do anything. It was very brief, but she
<v Speaker 1>was there. And ever since then it's been more vignettes.
<v Speaker 1>I don't have an issue with them doing vignettes. I
<v Speaker 1>think they should be doing more of them, frankly with
<v Speaker 1>some of these people that get called up. But why
<v Speaker 1>did they even have her show up on the show
<v Speaker 1>a few weeks ago just to go back to doing
<v Speaker 1>these videos. It doesn't make any sense. Why would you
<v Speaker 1>stick that in there? You run the vignettes for a
<v Speaker 1>certain period of time and then have her debut on Spackdown.
<v Speaker 1>That's what doesn't make any sense to me. But in
<v Speaker 1>this vignette, which again was her talking about Tiffany Stratton.
<v Speaker 1>It was pretty clear that she's coming for the United
<v Speaker 1>States champion when she debuts. This was all about Tiffany.
<v Speaker 1>She even made a comment about how they're basically like
<v Speaker 1>mirror images of each other, which I've been saying that
<v Speaker 1>for a while now. I almosts don't even know why
<v Speaker 1>you would program the two of them to wrestle right
<v Speaker 1>out of the gate and have that be her first program.
<v Speaker 1>It's like you're looking at two Barbie dolls. They may
<v Speaker 1>as well be tag team partners, but evidently they're going
<v Speaker 1>to be programming them together. I guess when Blake debuts.
<v Speaker 1>We had Lash led with Naya Jackson her corner against
<v Speaker 1>Chelsea Gree with Tiffany Stratton not in hers legend was
<v Speaker 1>rag dolling her through on the floor outside. Naya was
<v Speaker 1>able to get a shot in on her. Later in
<v Speaker 1>the match, Chelsea went up top, she hit a crossbody
<v Speaker 1>onto both women on the floor. She tossed Lash back inside,
<v Speaker 1>went up top delivered a missile dropkick. She was setting
<v Speaker 1>up for an unprettier but legend countered into her lash
<v Speaker 1>extension finish and she pinned her and this didn't go
<v Speaker 1>very long, I don't know, three, three and a half,
<v Speaker 1>four minutes, something like that. The stuff with Tiffany, it
<v Speaker 1>just seems like it's eventually going to build to Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>kind of having a soft spot for her will end up.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to say they're gonna be a tag team,
<v Speaker 1>but I think it'll end up being one of these
<v Speaker 1>sort of you know, Rock and Sock situations where they
<v Speaker 1>end up becoming friends, or even rock and Sock, even
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte and Alexa. I think it'll end up some like that,
<v Speaker 1>even though I think it should go the exact opposite way,
<v Speaker 1>where Tiffany just gets sick of all this shit and
<v Speaker 1>she teases that, you know what, she's softening up a
<v Speaker 1>little bit on Chelsea. Yeah, maybe we can't be friends,
<v Speaker 1>and then she just lowers the boom and turns heel
<v Speaker 1>on her, because Tiffany Stratton should be a heel. She'll
<v Speaker 1>be better as a heel, and it'll help elevate Chelsea
<v Speaker 1>as a babyface that much more because people like Chelsea,
<v Speaker 1>so I think if they see that all she's warming
<v Speaker 1>up to her, and then Tiffany smashes her with the
<v Speaker 1>championship people aren't gonna like that, you know what I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Like they'll they'll be sympathetic with Chelsea and then hopefully
<v Speaker 1>they'll boo Tiffany. And I think that's the right way
<v Speaker 1>to go about doing it, but I don't trust that
<v Speaker 1>that's what they're gonna do, especially if Blake Monroe is
<v Speaker 1>talking about Tiffany and Blake is probably debuting as a heel,
<v Speaker 1>so it doesn't seem like Tiffany's going to be going
<v Speaker 1>heel anytime soon. That backstage, So approached guess who Royce
<v Speaker 1>Keys yet another segment. Royce Key's on this She's all
<v Speaker 1>over the place, and Royce Keys wanted nothing to do
<v Speaker 1>with this guy, smart guy, Solo told him though Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns made Jacob Fatu kneel like a dog on Raw
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night, and Keith said, what does that have to
<v Speaker 1>do with me? And Solo's point was that has everything
<v Speaker 1>to do with you. Said, you have no one left,
<v Speaker 1>said Fatu Usso's Roman. They're not calling you. You know
<v Speaker 1>who's calling you Me and Solo took credit for bringing
<v Speaker 1>Jacob and Tomatonga and Tallatoga to WWE. Solo said that
<v Speaker 1>they need to go get ready for war keyword there
<v Speaker 1>being war. He told Keys to stop making things so difficult,
<v Speaker 1>or I would make things difficult for you. This is
<v Speaker 1>what I mean, man, I mean, it's going to be
<v Speaker 1>like the long drawn out process until we get to
<v Speaker 1>wherever we're going with this. MFTs need at least one
<v Speaker 1>more body. You're gonna do some sort of match, be
<v Speaker 1>it wargames or whatever with the bloodline. They don't have
<v Speaker 1>enough men. Who else are they gonna bring in? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>so many members of the family. I suppose you could
<v Speaker 1>always you can always recruit from the family. And no,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think Zilla is coming in anytime soon. Who
<v Speaker 1>else is there? You've been spending all of this time?
<v Speaker 1>What is the point? What is the point of all
<v Speaker 1>of these segments? Right? If Royce Keys in the end
<v Speaker 1>doesn't link up with Solo and the MFTs, he's already
<v Speaker 1>blown them off every single time, and yet he continues
<v Speaker 1>to recruit and continues to try to convince him more
<v Speaker 1>and more every single week. Why Why Because eventually they're
<v Speaker 1>probably gonna end up on the same side. Otherwise, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not sure what the point of this is. He's made
<v Speaker 1>it very clear he doesn't want to have anything to
<v Speaker 1>do with you. But there's got to be a reason
<v Speaker 1>why they keep going back to this and why Solo
<v Speaker 1>will not let this go right. And he made some
<v Speaker 1>good points too. He goes, look, you know Jacob was
<v Speaker 1>your boy. He's not here anymore. No one's calling you,
<v Speaker 1>no one's helping you. Damian Priest doesn't want to help you.
<v Speaker 1>Nobody wants to help you. Eventually it becomes a situation
<v Speaker 1>where it's like, if I can't beat him, I'll join
<v Speaker 1>him now. Elsewhere, the new Triple A Cruiserweight Champion Ray
<v Speaker 1>Phoenix was backstage talking to Axiom and Nathan Fraser, who
<v Speaker 1>pointed out, you know, we're cruiserweights too, and Phoenix said, look,
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to defend my championship all over the world,
<v Speaker 1>and if you want a shot, all you got to
<v Speaker 1>do is ask Chad Gable showed up and he asked
<v Speaker 1>for a word with Phoenix alone. So, after Axiom and
<v Speaker 1>Fraser left, Gable, you know, he remembered, it was the
<v Speaker 1>last year. I think it was you and me, Ray,
<v Speaker 1>we had this great WrestleMania match. But you know I
<v Speaker 1>didn't take it seriously. I didn't take you seriously. And
<v Speaker 1>he said that he you know, he did so under
<v Speaker 1>false pretenses. He made a mockery of Lucha Libray, but
<v Speaker 1>now he realizes what it's truly all about, and so
<v Speaker 1>he asked for forgiveness, and Phoenix forgave him, but he
<v Speaker 1>reminded him that he's not the only one who Gable offended.
<v Speaker 1>And I took this that he was alluding to his
<v Speaker 1>brother Penta, which is why I'm not so sure that
<v Speaker 1>this is a sign that Gable is going to smack Down.
<v Speaker 1>Like when he showed up with Nick all this, I'm like, oh, okay,
<v Speaker 1>all this is making some moves. They're gonna move Gable
<v Speaker 1>away from all the people he's already been working with,
<v Speaker 1>fresh coat of paint, fresh scenery on SmackDown. That may
<v Speaker 1>not necessarily be what's going on here. We may see
<v Speaker 1>him on Raw Monday, and I'm begging for forgiveness from
<v Speaker 1>Penta next. So we don't know where Chad Gable is
<v Speaker 1>going to land. The key is that Chad Gable, though,
<v Speaker 1>is back on TV. It would have been insane for
<v Speaker 1>Triple H not to have him back on TV no
<v Speaker 1>later than this coming Monday. That's what I said in
<v Speaker 1>my Raw review this past Monday. He wasn't there on
<v Speaker 1>Monday Italy. It's like, Okay, they were plugging the replay
<v Speaker 1>of that triple A mask match so much. He was
<v Speaker 1>getting a lot of attention that way. It's like, but
<v Speaker 1>if he's not back on the show by next week,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that's gonna be a huge fumble. And so
<v Speaker 1>I was happy to see him on this show, and
<v Speaker 1>then I have no reason to doubt that he won't
<v Speaker 1>be on Raw Monday Night. Where he'll end up, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. Is all of this just an act and
<v Speaker 1>he's still gonna be a heel and he's gonna turn
<v Speaker 1>on somebody, or is he gonna be a babyface? I
<v Speaker 1>think he should be a babyface. I think it's time
<v Speaker 1>for a babyface Chad Gable push on WWE television, but
<v Speaker 1>a serious one, not a half assed one where okay,
<v Speaker 1>we'll put him in some matches and then he'll he'll
<v Speaker 1>just fucking lose like he did all the fucking time
<v Speaker 1>with Gunther, Or turn him heel again and then have
<v Speaker 1>him doing comedy bullshit. If you were ever going to
<v Speaker 1>do something serious with Chad Gable ever, ever, this is
<v Speaker 1>the time to do it. He will never have more
<v Speaker 1>momentum than he has now coming out of that mask
<v Speaker 1>match last weekend, and he lost. He was the loser
<v Speaker 1>of that match, but he was more overcoming out of
<v Speaker 1>it than he was going into it. The match was
<v Speaker 1>so huge and everybody was heaping so much praise on
<v Speaker 1>it that you fucking replayed it. They weren't even planning
<v Speaker 1>on replaying it on Netflix. That was a last minute thing.
<v Speaker 1>Within a twenty four hour period, they got that shit
<v Speaker 1>up and at the end of Raw Monday night, they
<v Speaker 1>were showing that match, not the event, just the match
<v Speaker 1>because it was that great and Chad Gable was a
<v Speaker 1>very big part of why. That was the best match
<v Speaker 1>of that man's life. And he's got genuine momentum right now.
<v Speaker 1>This is not the time to squander it. It's not
<v Speaker 1>enough just to get him on TV. That's great. What
<v Speaker 1>are you going to do with him? I understand he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't really fit into the World Championship picture right now
<v Speaker 1>with Roman Reigns. To be honest with you, I could
<v Speaker 1>see him having a much better chance of doing something
<v Speaker 1>with Cody on SmackDown. They were Roman on Raw. Whatever
<v Speaker 1>you end up doing with him wherever he lands, don't
<v Speaker 1>fuck this up. Okay, don't squander this. He's too good
<v Speaker 1>to be squandered. He's been good. Anybody who was watching
<v Speaker 1>him when he was with American Alpha in NXT knows
<v Speaker 1>how good this man is. Yes, he's not the biggest
<v Speaker 1>man on the roster, so what neither was Daniel Bryan
<v Speaker 1>and he got over pretty well. He's too good to
<v Speaker 1>fuck up and he's not getting any younger. He's forty
<v Speaker 1>years old. He's been there for so many years. He's
<v Speaker 1>been there for a decade. You had him when he
<v Speaker 1>was thirty, he's now forty. Is this finally the wake
<v Speaker 1>up call for them? I hope. So main event was
<v Speaker 1>Dominic Mysterio bron Breaker, Trick Williams and Damian Priest in
<v Speaker 1>a four way King of the Ring Tournament first round match.
<v Speaker 1>Later in the match breaker, he speared Priest, Trick hit
<v Speaker 1>Breaker with a trick shot knee, He covered Priest and
<v Speaker 1>dom broke it up. So Breaker ended up clotheslining Trick
<v Speaker 1>out to the floor and he goes to the apron
<v Speaker 1>and he does the spot where he leaps from the
<v Speaker 1>apron to the announced desk, only this time he didn't
<v Speaker 1>just knock Trick Williams over the announced desk. The two
<v Speaker 1>of them went through the announced desk, the fucking thing collapsed,
<v Speaker 1>so that left Damian Priest and Dom all alone in
<v Speaker 1>the ring and Priest he lowered the straps. He signaled
<v Speaker 1>for the South of Heaven choke slam. When j D
<v Speaker 1>McDonough showed up, he was on the top rope and
<v Speaker 1>he came diving off, but he dove right into a
<v Speaker 1>choke slam from Damian Priest and then he goozled Dom
<v Speaker 1>for one. He picked him up and he's holding him
<v Speaker 1>there and Live Morgan slides into the ring. She scurries
<v Speaker 1>in and she delivers a low blo to Damian Priest
<v Speaker 1>and Michael Cole says, oh, the referee had no idea
<v Speaker 1>what just happened that. I'm like, who gives a fuck, Michael.
<v Speaker 1>It's a fucking four way, no disqualification. The referee could
<v Speaker 1>be sitting there in a lounge chair with a Pina
<v Speaker 1>colade in his hand, watching it right in front of
<v Speaker 1>his face. There ain't nothing he can do about it
<v Speaker 1>because it's no DQ. It's all legal. So he got
<v Speaker 1>Priest in position for a six to one to nine.
<v Speaker 1>He connected, He went up top, Dom hit a frog
<v Speaker 1>splash and he pinned Damian Priest for the shock win.
<v Speaker 1>Damian Priest taking the losing fall in this match was
<v Speaker 1>not a shock. Dominic Mysterio winning this match, that was
<v Speaker 1>a shock. That's the first upset that we've had in
<v Speaker 1>this King or Queen of the Ring tournament. The good
<v Speaker 1>news for Dom is that he is moving on to
<v Speaker 1>the semi finals. The bad news for Dom is that
<v Speaker 1>he is moving on to the semi finals where he
<v Speaker 1>now has to wrestle Obafemi. Good luck, Tom. I hope
<v Speaker 1>you've written up your legal papers just in case, just
<v Speaker 1>in case you don't make it out alive on Monday.
<v Speaker 1>H Look, bron Breaker lost to Seth Rollins in the
<v Speaker 1>main event on Raw Monday Night. I thought for sure
<v Speaker 1>that he was going to rebound here. It would have
<v Speaker 1>made all the sense in the world for them to
<v Speaker 1>give him a rebound win, move him into the semi finals.
<v Speaker 1>And holy shit, look at what we got in the semis.
<v Speaker 1>We got bron Breaker and we got Obafemi. Right, two
<v Speaker 1>people who many have tabbed as the future of this company, right,
<v Speaker 1>or two of the names that you consider to be
<v Speaker 1>the future of this company. We get to see them
<v Speaker 1>one on one of the King of the Ring tournament. Right,
<v Speaker 1>that's pretty cool. That's a pretty cool showdown right there. No, no,
<v Speaker 1>we're not getting that. And again I don't hate the
<v Speaker 1>idea of them giving us an unpredictable finish here, because
<v Speaker 1>I certainly didn't see this one coming, but it just
<v Speaker 1>you've now given us a weaker semi fi as a result,
<v Speaker 1>which really goes one of two ways. Either Oba smashes
<v Speaker 1>him and anybody who tries to stick their nose in
<v Speaker 1>from the judgment day and he wins and he goes
<v Speaker 1>to Riod, or we see Brockelesner show up and just
<v Speaker 1>for shits and giggles, I guess because he already beat
<v Speaker 1>him and clash in Italy. He shows up anyway, and
<v Speaker 1>he costs Oba the crown to put more heat on
<v Speaker 1>their eventual third match. And then you send dom to
<v Speaker 1>the finals in Riod. I can't see that. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>that's your big pla. You're gonna have what a seth
<v Speaker 1>rollins Dominic Mysterio final. Really, there's no way, there's no way.
<v Speaker 1>Oba almost has to win now, he almost has to
<v Speaker 1>at least go to the finals. I can't imagine Oba
<v Speaker 1>not being flown to Riod to wrestle in the finals
<v Speaker 1>of this tournament unless they're doing the third match with
<v Speaker 1>him in Brock at Night of Champions, And that doesn't
<v Speaker 1>even make any sense to me, because then what does
<v Speaker 1>Brock do with Summer Slim. You're not gonna not have
<v Speaker 1>Brock on that fucking Minnesota show. And if you do
<v Speaker 1>the third match with him and Oba in Riod, well
<v Speaker 1>you've taken Oba out of the world title picture. Then
<v Speaker 1>what the hell does he do with SummerSlam clearly going
<v Speaker 1>to happen in Minnesota, but instead of him maybe costing
<v Speaker 1>Oba next week, they wait until Night of Champions. Would
<v Speaker 1>they fly Brock? Would Brock fly all the way out
<v Speaker 1>to Rihid just to do a quick run in? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I guess if the check clears right and they pay
<v Speaker 1>him enough money, he's probably got his own private jet anyway,
<v Speaker 1>It's not like he's sitting in coach, But that would
<v Speaker 1>be kind of funny they fly him all the way
<v Speaker 1>over to Riid just to do a run in, maybe
<v Speaker 1>hit one ha FF five and then leave. He'll be
<v Speaker 1>back on the plane before the show is even over.
<v Speaker 1>But it feels to me like Oba is gonna get
<v Speaker 1>screwed over in the finals, not the semi finals. That's
<v Speaker 1>what it feels like me. This was pretty standard fare
<v Speaker 1>as far as SmackDown goes, outside of the King and
<v Speaker 1>Queen of the Ring stuff, which you know at least
<v Speaker 1>gives some of the matches more purpose than they usually have.
<v Speaker 1>That's the benefit of doing these tournaments, you know. I mean, obviously,
<v Speaker 1>most matches you would hope are they exist for some reason.
<v Speaker 1>They're advancing some kind of story. Every match you would
<v Speaker 1>hope has a purpose. But they have more purpose and
<v Speaker 1>more meeting when there's something on the line, you know,
<v Speaker 1>like a spot in the finals, or a spot in
<v Speaker 1>the next round, the chance to challenge for the championship
<v Speaker 1>of your choosing, you know, whatever it may be. That's
<v Speaker 1>the benefit of doing the King and Queen of the
<v Speaker 1>Ring tournament over a period of weeks. That's why they
<v Speaker 1>don't do them all in one Well, they can't do
<v Speaker 1>them all in one night now anyway, you got two tournaments.
<v Speaker 1>Can't have all the tournament matches in one night. So
<v Speaker 1>even if they wanted to, they really the formatch just
<v Speaker 1>doesn't work. But yeah, I mean again, the outcomes are
<v Speaker 1>the outcomes are not terribly exciting that we got in
<v Speaker 1>terms of the two tournaments tonight, hopefully we end up
<v Speaker 1>with good finals though on both sides. It's the best
<v Speaker 1>we could hope for. But that was SmackDown. Countdown is
<v Speaker 1>on back to two hours as of June twenty sixth.
<v Speaker 1>I can't wait. We're going to celebrate. That's what we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna do now. The likes goal was five hundred and
<v Speaker 1>fifteen and we are currently sitting at four point fifty two,
<v Speaker 1>so we're less than one hundred away, but we still
<v Speaker 1>were still a ways off. For those of you wondering
<v Speaker 1>where we were, we'll see if we get there, we
<v Speaker 1>shall see. Solo going to be a happy man today,
<v Speaker 1>little basketball emoji. All right, let me go through your
<v Speaker 1>messages here. I also want to let Joseph Stewart know
<v Speaker 1>because I know Joseph is with us, and Joseph, I'm
<v Speaker 1>going there's a few wrestling related ones here that I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to read. Joseph, I saw all your messages and
<v Speaker 1>I thank you very much. I'm going to do my
<v Speaker 1>best in the comments section when we're done here to
<v Speaker 1>answer the ones that I don't answer here, So just
<v Speaker 1>tune into the comment section when we're done here below
<v Speaker 1>the video, and I'll try to answer your other non
<v Speaker 1>wrestling related questions here. But I know you saw Masters
<v Speaker 1>of the University and he was very excited about that.
<v Speaker 1>I too, I too saw Masters of the Universe. I
<v Speaker 1>went this afternoon and look. I grew up a big
<v Speaker 1>he Man fan he Man and ThunderCats Man. When I
<v Speaker 1>was grown up as a kid, that was my jam.
<v Speaker 1>Those cartoons were everything. And I saw the first live
<v Speaker 1>action movie when it came out with Dolph Lungren in
<v Speaker 1>nineteen eighty seven. I liked it, didn't love it, So
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know what to expect. It's been God, you know,
<v Speaker 1>there's been a long time. It's been forty years, almost
<v Speaker 1>forty years since that movie came out, even longer since
<v Speaker 1>the cartoon came out. But I went into it with
<v Speaker 1>an open mind, just kind of hoping they would pay
<v Speaker 1>homage to what I remember. And I really enjoyed it.
<v Speaker 1>I really did not the best movie I've seen all year,
<v Speaker 1>but kind of like I enjoyed Mortal Kombat too, I
<v Speaker 1>enjoyed this. I actually thought the action was just as good,
<v Speaker 1>if not better than it was in Mortal Kombat. Like
<v Speaker 1>the action scenes the fight scenes. But I had a
<v Speaker 1>good time. It's a long movie, two hours and twenty minutes.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that it needed to be that long,
<v Speaker 1>but I enjoyed it, and clearly Joseph enjoyed it as well. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why we never got Yeah, I am kindall.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why we never got a ThunderCats movie.
<v Speaker 1>I guess. And now it's too late. Nobody's gonna give
<v Speaker 1>a shit. They were gonna make one. They should have
<v Speaker 1>made one thirty five years ago. I will say that,
<v Speaker 1>I really, I don't want to give anything away. Skeletor
<v Speaker 1>was great, by the way Skeletor. Jared Leto plays Skeletor.
<v Speaker 1>But if you didn't know that in advance, you would
<v Speaker 1>never know, like you never see his face or anything
<v Speaker 1>like that. But they did a really good job with
<v Speaker 1>Skeletor in terms of just the look and the voice
<v Speaker 1>and everything. Yeah, Evil in I thought was the weakest
<v Speaker 1>part of the whole movie. I did not like that
<v Speaker 1>character in this movie. They have Alison Brie playing Evil
<v Speaker 1>in Alison brief By the way, from God, what was
<v Speaker 1>the other wrestling show? Heal not heels? Oh God, what
<v Speaker 1>was the other one? That got canceled after a couple
<v Speaker 1>of seasons. It's been so long I already forgot the
<v Speaker 1>name of the show. But she's a really good actress.
<v Speaker 1>But I don't know if it was the casting. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if it was just the way they portrayed
<v Speaker 1>the character. Didn't like it. It was like the only
<v Speaker 1>thing in the movie I didn't like anyway, Joseph, I'm
<v Speaker 1>happy that you enjoyed the movie, and I'm gonna I'll
<v Speaker 1>drop your answers in the chat a little bit later.
<v Speaker 1>He's actually going back to see it again. Let's see here.
<v Speaker 1>I know he had a wrestling question. Here we go.
<v Speaker 1>What do you think Raven's legacy will be in wrestling?
<v Speaker 1>And what do you think he will be remembered for
<v Speaker 1>in wrestling? I think Raven's well, what he'll be remembered for,
<v Speaker 1>by far is what he did in ECW. That's where
<v Speaker 1>the Raven character was born. You know, nobody is gonna
<v Speaker 1>be talking about Scotty Flamingo, Nobody is going to be
<v Speaker 1>talking really about Johnny Polo, right, They're gonna be talking
<v Speaker 1>about Raven. They're gonna be talking about the matches and
<v Speaker 1>the feud, the Sandman and Tommy Dreamer and even in
<v Speaker 1>WCW Raven's Flock and he he won the US title,
<v Speaker 1>he didn't hold it for very long. Honestly, one of
<v Speaker 1>my favorite matches in Nitro history. He was a part of.
<v Speaker 1>You know, when Goldberg won his first belt, he won
<v Speaker 1>the US belt off Raven. That was a fun match.
<v Speaker 1>And you guys gotta go back and listen to that
<v Speaker 1>pop after Goldberg spears him the first time in that match.
<v Speaker 1>Holy shit. I mean, you want to talk about a
<v Speaker 1>crowd reaction. Everybody just rises to their feet. I was
<v Speaker 1>get goosebumps when I go back and watch that, and
<v Speaker 1>then he just lays waste to all the Flock members.
<v Speaker 1>Larry's obisco on commentary, They're out of flock. That was great. Yeah. No,
<v Speaker 1>it'll be the Raven character obviously that he's remembered for
<v Speaker 1>in ECW and and so that'll be his legacy. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>beyond that, I don't know what his legacy would be.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he was a great character. Joseph again, thank you,
<v Speaker 1>Brother def Sith, Kurt Angle faced edgend Christian and two
<v Speaker 1>King of the Ring matches, and faced Shane McMahon in
<v Speaker 1>a street fight on the same night. Why can't they
<v Speaker 1>have Oba beat Brock in the rubber match and then
<v Speaker 1>win King of the Ring. I mean technically that nothing
<v Speaker 1>is stopping them from doing that, but those are two
<v Speaker 1>big matches with him that they would be blowing off
<v Speaker 1>in one night. They didn't want to do that. You know,
<v Speaker 1>they got to drag it out. They got to promote
<v Speaker 1>it on a different show they got. They got two
<v Speaker 1>nights in Minneapolis. I think they have eighteen thousand tickets
<v Speaker 1>out for SummerSlam so far. I don't know if it's
<v Speaker 1>eight I think it's eighteen thousand per night, and the
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slim is well, it's under two months away. But
<v Speaker 1>you know they have big matches they have to promote
<v Speaker 1>for that show. They don't want to give it all
<v Speaker 1>away in one night. See but what you just said,
<v Speaker 1>Kurt Angle was a beast man. He was a beast.
<v Speaker 1>I don't mean like beast men and Masters of the Universe.
<v Speaker 1>I mean he was a beast man. That guy was
<v Speaker 1>a machine. WWE Wrestling and Gaming. Who's the John Cena
<v Speaker 1>of ae W meaning what the top top star John Moxley,
<v Speaker 1>guy who's been there from day one? You hear stories
<v Speaker 1>about him off camera behind the scenes too, and what
<v Speaker 1>a big influence he is behind the scenes as much
<v Speaker 1>as he's a big name on camera in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>For them, I think Moxley and Moxley for many years there,
<v Speaker 1>Moxley would kind of their iron men, and when shit
<v Speaker 1>would go sideway, especially with the punk stuff, they always
<v Speaker 1>fell back. Tony Khan did on John Moxley, but the
<v Speaker 1>belt on him. He was sort of that steady hand
<v Speaker 1>that he could always rely on. I think Moxlay is
<v Speaker 1>the answer. Oba Femi should destroy Dominic Mysterio. With the
<v Speaker 1>camera shot of Live Morgan screaming and crying at ringside,
<v Speaker 1>he should destroy Dominic Mysteria. You're right about that fast,
<v Speaker 1>Eddie says, Will you be covering season seven of Dark
<v Speaker 1>Side of the Ring in July? Yes? I will. Are
<v Speaker 1>you ready? Are you looking forward to it? Brolee with
<v Speaker 1>a four to ninety nine triple H can't build any
<v Speaker 1>new stars. Why is dom in the same position and
<v Speaker 1>doing the same character since twenty twenty two? Oba would
<v Speaker 1>still be an NXT if it wasn't for John Cena.
<v Speaker 1>Probably You're probably right. Nick Rosso with a nineteen ninety
<v Speaker 1>nine says, idea for the live in Roxanne split almost
<v Speaker 1>like triple H Randy Orton and O for Live loses
<v Speaker 1>the title at SummerSlam to EO or whoever. Then Roxanne
<v Speaker 1>wins money in the bank, becomes champion, and Live turns
<v Speaker 1>on her out of jealousy. That could work, just minus
<v Speaker 1>the whole you know, thumbs up thumbs down thing, the
<v Speaker 1>electric chair drop to Orton, Yeah, I wouldn't hate that
<v Speaker 1>if it worked out that way, Leo says, I'm scared.
<v Speaker 1>I just know they're going to have Keana job to Julia.
<v Speaker 1>It is a rough time being a fan of Kean. Hey, look,
<v Speaker 1>there's no shame in losing to Julia. Okay, but I
<v Speaker 1>think you're probably wrong about that. I just have a
<v Speaker 1>feeling if I were you as a Keana James fan,
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't worry too much. If you're a Julia fan,
<v Speaker 1>I would be concerned. If you're a Keana James fan,
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think she's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be okay. Randy Bobandy again, thank you brother for
<v Speaker 1>that fifty bomb. Appreciate it. Happy birthday, brother. I hope
<v Speaker 1>it's a good one, or was a good one. Now
<v Speaker 1>that it's a twelve oh one, am Asu Amy, good
<v Speaker 1>to see. Let's just fight here tonight in insert city.
<v Speaker 1>Good to see. The trope is still ubiquitous. WWE does
<v Speaker 1>it just about every show. It is such a let.
<v Speaker 1>Oh they do it every week. They will lie the
<v Speaker 1>whole Their whole product is nothing but tropes, tropes and formula.
<v Speaker 1>They have no incentive to change from it. Plug and play.
<v Speaker 1>It's the easiest form of booking. Plug and play. Solo
<v Speaker 1>Monster's lost son says, I can't wait to watch Game
<v Speaker 1>three with you. Dad. No. Now, first of all, you're
<v Speaker 1>not invited. Number one. Number two, I'm busy. I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to be streaming during Game three. I'm gonna be watching
<v Speaker 1>raw and going live. You can go watch it with
<v Speaker 1>your deadbeat mom Venom Caitetsu with a twenty five dollars
<v Speaker 1>pre mode. How would you keep Kaiser Americano occupied between
<v Speaker 1>now in September? If the endgame is indeed for him
<v Speaker 1>to beat Dom, would you have his posse branch off
<v Speaker 1>as tag team. As a tag team since he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>need the backup against Gable anymore. I mean I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>have them under masks to begin with. I mean, they're
<v Speaker 1>too good for it just like Gable. You see, my
<v Speaker 1>plans for Kaiser Americana are not really so much focused
<v Speaker 1>on Monday Night Raw. I really think that he's he's
<v Speaker 1>a Triple A guy now, you know, and whatever he's
<v Speaker 1>doing on AWE is probably gonna be fairly limited. But
<v Speaker 1>they are both on the Raw brand. But you have
<v Speaker 1>a weekly Triple A show that's really where the key
<v Speaker 1>angles should play out. But given the domb as part
<v Speaker 1>of a faction, the thing with the judgment, they only
<v Speaker 1>has though Dom and McDonough. Yeah, the rest of are
<v Speaker 1>the ladies. It's Live, it's Riquel, and it's Roxanne. So
<v Speaker 1>if Kaiser keeps Ryo and Bravo around, he's got the
<v Speaker 1>three on two advantage, which doesn't really make any sense
<v Speaker 1>from a baby based perspective. So yeah, I don't really
<v Speaker 1>think he needs Ryo and Bravo around anymore. Honestly, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what they're gonna do on RO I really don't.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that the fans are necessarily going to
<v Speaker 1>care as much as they will if they just keep
<v Speaker 1>it in Triple A, like, he's a Triple A guy now.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't I wouldn't take the mask off him ever,
<v Speaker 1>like to me, this is this is it, this is
<v Speaker 1>his career right now. You ride this wave until you
<v Speaker 1>can't ride it no more. He belongs to them now
<v Speaker 1>like he's all in. When it comes to Triple A,
<v Speaker 1>JM says, with Broun losing, I have an awful and
<v Speaker 1>bad feeling that Talatoga is going to win the fatal
<v Speaker 1>four way match off a Rollins Triple H. I think, oh,
<v Speaker 1>I think over Rollins and Triple H. I think Triple
<v Speaker 1>H sees Talatanga as the next Undertaker. No, he doesn't.
<v Speaker 1>They're trying to keep the members of the MFTs as
<v Speaker 1>strong as possible because they're going to be feuding with
<v Speaker 1>the Bloodline at some point and then they're going to
<v Speaker 1>be soundly defeated. I can assure you he does not
<v Speaker 1>look at him as the next Undertaker, nor nor has
<v Speaker 1>he shown any signs of even being the next Undertaker.
<v Speaker 1>There is no next Undertaker. I don't think you need
<v Speaker 1>to worry about that, although judging from the results so
<v Speaker 1>far of this tournament, I can't put it past them
<v Speaker 1>to put Talatanga in the semi finals. As awful as
<v Speaker 1>that sounds, Brolie says, Keana has won one match since
<v Speaker 1>getting called up. Yes, well, because most of the time
<v Speaker 1>she was, you know, spending her time in Julia's corner
<v Speaker 1>as her mouthpiece. She hasn't gotten a proper push, She
<v Speaker 1>has not gotten a proper singles push yet. Now that
<v Speaker 1>they've split, now we're going to see, like, what do
<v Speaker 1>they really have in mind for her? What is really
<v Speaker 1>her ceiling in this company? I again, I feel like
<v Speaker 1>her ceiling is going to be a lot higher than Julia's.
<v Speaker 1>Leo says, I need Dan Housen to put a curse
<v Speaker 1>on the SmackDown Women's locker room so Keana can start winning.
<v Speaker 1>It's worked for New York, it might work for Keana now.
<v Speaker 1>You know what, though, I don't know that multiple curses
<v Speaker 1>it once really works. I think it's basically like he's
<v Speaker 1>got to put all of his focus into this one curse.
<v Speaker 1>And I think if he starts cursing this and that
<v Speaker 1>and this and that too many curses at once he
<v Speaker 1>cursed them, it's too much. It's gonna weaken the current curses.
<v Speaker 1>And we can't allow that until the Knicks have secured
<v Speaker 1>the championship. And once they've won that trophy, then they
<v Speaker 1>could do whatever they want, But in the meantime, I
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't fuck with the curse. Can you imagine though, Like
<v Speaker 1>if Dan Housen, like all of a sudden, he goes,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, I've changed my mind, New York Knicks,
<v Speaker 1>you ah cursed, and then they come out in game
<v Speaker 1>three and they lose. Like, I don't think Dan Housen
<v Speaker 1>would be able to set foot in New York without
<v Speaker 1>his life being in danger like he would need he
<v Speaker 1>would need like a personal security entourage if he ever
<v Speaker 1>came into New York. Like I would worry for this
<v Speaker 1>man's physical well being. That was just saying like if
<v Speaker 1>he wanted to really fuck with people and then recurse
<v Speaker 1>the X before the series is over and then they
<v Speaker 1>suddenly start losing. I just remember poor Steve Bartman in
<v Speaker 1>Chicago all those years ago, Like the guy's just sitting
<v Speaker 1>there watching the game and on one moment, one night,
<v Speaker 1>changes that guy's entire life. People are nuts, people are crazy.
<v Speaker 1>But he'd be the biggest heel in New York City.
<v Speaker 1>Solomonster's lost son Wemby, is two years younger than me.
<v Speaker 1>I'm old dad. You see, you see what I'm dealing
<v Speaker 1>with here? Now you know why I abandoned him. Give
<v Speaker 1>me backshot Solo Monster with the dollar ninety nine. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's what got me in trouble the first time. How
<v Speaker 1>do you think I ended up with Solemn Monster's lost son?
<v Speaker 1>Says I gotta hug you this Snick's win calls for it.
<v Speaker 1>I'll give you a virtual hug. How about that we
<v Speaker 1>can virtually hug Dried Chicken, says Triple H. Loves to
<v Speaker 1>insult everyone's intelligence Devin from Njay. Back in the day,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't want the crowds to stop making noise. Nowadays,
<v Speaker 1>all I want them to do is shut up. What changed?
<v Speaker 1>I think when they decided to make the show all
<v Speaker 1>about themselves, that's what changed. It used to be about
<v Speaker 1>the actual matches and what you were seeing in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't know, over time, it just became something
<v Speaker 1>very different where they felt like, oh, we're part of
<v Speaker 1>the show. Okay, Well, justin g tried the Have you
<v Speaker 1>tried the Panda Express Cantonese brisket? No, it probably sounds
<v Speaker 1>like something I wouldn't try because that sounds spicy, and
<v Speaker 1>Solo Monster may get spicy sometimes, but he doesn't do spicy.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like that that probably would not be for me,
<v Speaker 1>although Panda Express is very good. I was JD and
<v Speaker 1>I both men when we wrapped up that Las Vegas
<v Speaker 1>show for House of Glory, which was in the Pearl Theater,
<v Speaker 1>which is which is in the Palms Casino. So when
<v Speaker 1>we left the Pearl were in the casino and it
<v Speaker 1>was late. It was had to be after midnight, and
<v Speaker 1>there there was a food court there, and the food
<v Speaker 1>court was open, and right in the middle of the
<v Speaker 1>food court is a Panda Express. Of course, they had
<v Speaker 1>the longest line. I'm like, that's where we're going. So
<v Speaker 1>we waited in the line for like twenty minutes and
<v Speaker 1>I had the best Panda Express that I think I've
<v Speaker 1>ever had in my life. And I told him, I said, hey,
<v Speaker 1>wait here, and I walked into the casino because there
<v Speaker 1>was a bar, like a giant bar, right in the middle.
<v Speaker 1>I said, I'm not buying a soda from Panda Express.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going I'm getting a Jack and Coke from over here,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm going to bring it back to the food court.
<v Speaker 1>So I was the degenerate, grabbing the Jack and Coke
<v Speaker 1>from the bar and bringing it to the food court
<v Speaker 1>to have it with my Panda Express the best meal
<v Speaker 1>ever and dried chicken, says Opa Femi needs to destroy
<v Speaker 1>dominic mysterio like a lion, smash his ego and give
<v Speaker 1>him some big booboos and make live. Morgan said, now, well,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that's going to be too difficult. Hopefully
<v Speaker 1>that's what we get. Yeah, Panda Express, I usually get
<v Speaker 1>the uh it's like Bourbon. It's like Bourbon chicken. Very good.
<v Speaker 1>Also says Right to Censor is the most underrated group
<v Speaker 1>in WWE. They had perfect heat and the funniest worst entrance.
<v Speaker 1>Mut Yeah, I didn't. I didn't like Right to Censor.
<v Speaker 1>Not a fan. I mean they try to make the
<v Speaker 1>most of it, Stevie and the rest of them, but
<v Speaker 1>I just didn't like the group. Uh EJ slam. Imagine
<v Speaker 1>Sena versus Eddie Kingston on the mic, you call me
<v Speaker 1>five moves of doom. I watched you and e she
<v Speaker 1>shot for twenty minutes and got bored. Actually, a promo
<v Speaker 1>battle back in the day with Sena and Eddie Kingston
<v Speaker 1>would be would be money, be very entertaining. Honey walnut shrimp,
<v Speaker 1>Yes that too. Honey walnut shrimp is my number one
<v Speaker 1>from Panda Express. That is my number one right Chicken says,
<v Speaker 1>I feel the Right to Censor has unintentionally foreshadowed TKO
<v Speaker 1>when it comes to criticisms. EJ says, it's been two
<v Speaker 1>and a half years since Tanahashi became New Japan president,
<v Speaker 1>and how would you rate his tenure and does you
<v Speaker 1>share blame for the cold product like Triple H does. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, well, he hasn't really done a whole lot
<v Speaker 1>to change that. The product has been called for a
<v Speaker 1>while now, so it's I think very middle of the
<v Speaker 1>road as far as you know how he's done. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know offhand all of the business decisions that he's
<v Speaker 1>been responsible for, but you know, the product is definitely
<v Speaker 1>I mean as far as like we're now six years
<v Speaker 1>removed from the start of the pandemic, and the pandemic
<v Speaker 1>hurt New Japan in a way that they still haven't
<v Speaker 1>fully recovered from. You know, wwe did, AW did and
<v Speaker 1>New Japan never really did and that was something that
<v Speaker 1>was out of their control obviously. But a lot of
<v Speaker 1>it is up you know, up to ghetto in the
<v Speaker 1>booking there and just it's ghettos booking. But of course,
<v Speaker 1>you know, if Tanahashi wanted to make a change there
<v Speaker 1>he could. I don't know who he would delegate that
<v Speaker 1>responsibility to, so he definitely bears some of the responsibility there. Absolutely, Terrance,
<v Speaker 1>go New York, Go, New York. Go, Yes, Terrence, They're
<v Speaker 1>going all the way to Game four. They may sweep
<v Speaker 1>this thing. I hope so, because that's I think that's
<v Speaker 1>the only way they're going to win in New York, right,
<v Speaker 1>I think they would have to sweep I think to
<v Speaker 1>win the championship at home. All right, if it goes
<v Speaker 1>to a Game five, it goes back to San Antonio.
<v Speaker 1>I believe EJ says. I've watched Brunson since high school
<v Speaker 1>in Villanova. I just wish he was doing this here
<v Speaker 1>in Chicago, like Derreck Rose did not New York City. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I can understand that lost dill an hour behind the live.
<v Speaker 1>Please tell me Joe Hendry was on this show either way,
<v Speaker 1>here's ten for be the booker. I'm sorry to burst
<v Speaker 1>your bubble, brother. Joe Hendry's a raw guy, though, why
<v Speaker 1>would he be on SmackDown? Joe Hendry was, in fact
<v Speaker 1>not on this show. I don't know that anybody was
<v Speaker 1>expecting him to be though Brian Finelle with a nine
<v Speaker 1>to ninety nine. Shannon and I went to an NXT
<v Speaker 1>house show tonight. Had a great time, especially when talent
<v Speaker 1>is allowed to have fun and interact with the live crowd.
<v Speaker 1>Got home just in time for your review and the
<v Speaker 1>nixt one good night solo. Well, it sounds like a
<v Speaker 1>good night. That does sound like a good night. Thank you, Brian.
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad the two you had fun. How shows her fun.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't matter if it's n XTAM main roster. How
<v Speaker 1>shows her fun and super Pony with the four ninety
<v Speaker 1>nine Gable getting a push is as likely as Rick
<v Speaker 1>Flair not making a fool of himself every two seconds.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully he'll leave next time his contract is up. Boy,
<v Speaker 1>I thought you would talk about Flair at the bar.
<v Speaker 1>I hope he'll leave next time. He doesn't want to leave.
<v Speaker 1>I keep telling him it's closing time, and he just
<v Speaker 1>keeps asking for more vodkatonics. Thank you, brother. Justin g
<v Speaker 1>says it's no spicier than the orange chicken promise. All right, Well,
<v Speaker 1>if it's not really spicy, then I may have to
<v Speaker 1>try it out one day. What would you say was
<v Speaker 1>the Cantonese. What remind me again East Ataliano. Wherever Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gable goes, does he link back up with American Maid?
<v Speaker 1>If so, would they be heels or I don't think
<v Speaker 1>he needs American Maid. American Maid is not getting a push.
<v Speaker 1>Chad Gable needs to get a push, so I don't
<v Speaker 1>think he needs to go with American Maid. Uh. The
<v Speaker 1>joker's voice. Dan Housen does have a second curse. He
<v Speaker 1>cursed the Carolina Hurricanes and the Stanley Cup playoffs as
<v Speaker 1>a Las Vegas resident. I gotta be excited, man, he's
<v Speaker 1>just cursing everybody, isn't he? Super Pony Panda is underrated.
<v Speaker 1>Always enjoy it when I get it and lost dil
<v Speaker 1>with a nine to ninety nine. I just need him anywhere.
<v Speaker 1>Him being Joe Henry, you'll get him during the commercial break.
<v Speaker 1>That's when you'll get him. So I hope you got
<v Speaker 1>your VPN. That's the only way you're going to see
<v Speaker 1>him unless you buy a ticket to go to the show.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry to say, I don't know why you would
<v Speaker 1>relegate him to the commercial breaks and not give him
<v Speaker 1>an entrance when his music is a big part of
<v Speaker 1>his act and we never get to hear it. Make
<v Speaker 1>it make sense. I find myself saying that a lot
<v Speaker 1>with WWE these days. Make it make sense. And Super Pony,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the four ninety nine. Brother. Hate to
<v Speaker 1>put you on the spot like that. You love it.
<v Speaker 1>Please hate to put you on the spot like this.
<v Speaker 1>But can you rank every Halloween sequel? I don't know
<v Speaker 1>about every Halloween sequel, but my rankings are pretty solid
<v Speaker 1>for the top four or five. And really, all you
<v Speaker 1>gotta do is just swap three and two. So the
<v Speaker 1>first one is number one, easily, it's always the best.
<v Speaker 1>The second best one is Part three, and I know
<v Speaker 1>some people are gonna laugh or challenge me on that.
<v Speaker 1>I don't give a shit. Part three is great. Part
<v Speaker 1>two I put in spot number three, and then Part
<v Speaker 1>four is number four. Part five is number five. Then
<v Speaker 1>it gets a little a little hazy. The Paul Rudd one,
<v Speaker 1>which I think is Part six. I wasn't really a
<v Speaker 1>fan of the H two O wasn't bad. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know where i'd put that one. The Rob Zombie ones
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna leave out because that's kind of a separate lore. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>you know, Halloween twenty eighteen was really good Halloween twenty eighteen. Hmm.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like, if anything, I probably would put that
<v Speaker 1>one after part four. So maybe we go one, three, two, four,
<v Speaker 1>and then twenty eighteen. The rest of them might have
<v Speaker 1>to think about. But again the top like four, maybe
<v Speaker 1>five for me or pretty rock solid. They got a
<v Speaker 1>game coming out too, by the way, in September. I
<v Speaker 1>think the Halloween game is coming out, Carrie says Nixon. Four. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I agree, Nixon four. Chris Mike sell within nine ninety nine,
<v Speaker 1>look at that Super Scienceina showing up on screen. If
<v Speaker 1>you had to choose a winner to hold the vacant
<v Speaker 1>WWF title in the fall of nineteen ninety eight, who
<v Speaker 1>would you pick? Cain or the Undertaker? Kine easily? Kay
<v Speaker 1>should have had longer than twenty four hours with that belt.
<v Speaker 1>All right, you guys ended up breaking the goal here
<v Speaker 1>five point fifty four. The goal was five point fifteen,
<v Speaker 1>So give yourselves a round of applause, because guess where
<v Speaker 1>we're going. Before we get there, there we have EJ.
<v Speaker 1>I think Dan Housen recursed the Cubs two ten game
<v Speaker 1>win streaks and a ten game losing streak this season.
<v Speaker 1>The White Sox are winning so I love it must
<v Speaker 1>be nice to have a winning baseball team. I forgot
<v Speaker 1>what that feels like. Let's be the Booker, ladies and gentlemen.
<v Speaker 1>It is now time to be the Booker. I don't
<v Speaker 1>remember that feeling Skeletor being good is nice, even though
<v Speaker 1>it's a leto. Yeah, I don't care for Jared Letto,
<v Speaker 1>but Skeletor was awesome in the movie. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>there's gonna be people who hate on it because they
<v Speaker 1>were big he Man fans when they were a kid,
<v Speaker 1>and in the movie they really do poke a lot
<v Speaker 1>of fun at themselves, like even the he Man name,
<v Speaker 1>and like Fisto, which is a Masters of the Universe character,
<v Speaker 1>but the guy's name is fucking Fisto. I mean, come on,
<v Speaker 1>We literally had like half a dozen fisting jokes in
<v Speaker 1>this movie. But how can you not The guy's name
<v Speaker 1>is Fisto, So I mean, come on. Some people aren't
<v Speaker 1>gonna like that though, all right, tag team be the Booker.
<v Speaker 1>We got Andre the Giant and Haku the Colossal Connection.
<v Speaker 1>That's a tough team to beat. Andre was past his prime,
<v Speaker 1>but Andrea is still Andre. Well, Andre has to do
<v Speaker 1>is just stand on top of you that's what he
<v Speaker 1>used to do. He would literally he would stand on
<v Speaker 1>his opponent's stomach or stand on their back. Sure that
<v Speaker 1>didn't feel too good. They're gonna be taken on the
<v Speaker 1>fabulous free Birds, fabulous free birds and the colossal connection. Hmm,
<v Speaker 1>I'll allow it. I'll give it the bell. There is
<v Speaker 1>some history there with Andre and Michael Hayes. If you
<v Speaker 1>ever hear Michael Hayes tell the story when the free
<v Speaker 1>Birds were very briefly working for WWF and fart on them.
<v Speaker 1>According to Jake Roberts, this is the story that Jake
<v Speaker 1>Roberts is told that is so disgusting. I don't even
<v Speaker 1>want to retell it. But I think he's told it
<v Speaker 1>so many times, and I think when he does, like
<v Speaker 1>one Man shows, he tells it about a rib he
<v Speaker 1>played on Rick Rude with a woman. I'm sure some
<v Speaker 1>of you know that story. Vile. Al right, Women's be
<v Speaker 1>the booker. It is timeless. When we go black and white,
<v Speaker 1>it is time for timeless Tony Storm. Boy, she disappeared,
<v Speaker 1>didn't she? Timeless Tony Storm? And who well? Timeless Tony
<v Speaker 1>Storm and Mina Shirakawa best friends now bitter enemies and
<v Speaker 1>in our main event. Never never heard that story. Don't
<v Speaker 1>know if I want to, you probably don't want to.
<v Speaker 1>We have the rula. Oba Femi is in the main
<v Speaker 1>event where he belongs. Look at this, this is his
<v Speaker 1>main event debut here and be the booker. We got
<v Speaker 1>Oba Femi. Now we just need brock Lesnar and we
<v Speaker 1>can complete the trilogy. It is not brock Lesnar, but
<v Speaker 1>it is the Godfather, and if the Godfather is smart,
<v Speaker 1>the Godfather wants no part of Obafemi. And so what
<v Speaker 1>the Godfather is going to do is he's going to
<v Speaker 1>offer one of his hoes and Obafemi will take one,
<v Speaker 1>and they will go off together and there will be
<v Speaker 1>no main event, so we don't even get a match
<v Speaker 1>out of it. They all just leave together happily ever after.
<v Speaker 1>That's how the show ends. That's that's how That's how
<v Speaker 1>it was in the attitude there, that's how it be.
<v Speaker 1>All aboard, yes, all aboard, the Ruler and the pimp.
<v Speaker 1>Just one. That's a good point. I have one pair
<v Speaker 1>of skinny jeans and I'm gonna wear them every week
<v Speaker 1>just to piss you off. Right, Big Dave is going
<v Speaker 1>to join in too, with his skinny jeans Opa could take.
<v Speaker 1>He could take them all. I'm limiting him to just one.
<v Speaker 1>E J. Slimp says, speaking of he Man, I just
<v Speaker 1>heard your l O D dark Side review this week.
<v Speaker 1>You corrected Ellering. The name came from Super Friends, not
<v Speaker 1>he Man. I corrected ell Ing. Did Ellering say something
<v Speaker 1>wrong and I corrected him? And I remember I did
<v Speaker 1>that dark Side review on l O D some time ago.
<v Speaker 1>How many years ago did I do that? Dry Chicken
<v Speaker 1>says Andrea and Haku against the fabulous free Birds, the
<v Speaker 1>winner getting a private jet. No private jet could possibly
<v Speaker 1>fit Andre the giant and also timeless Tony storm against
<v Speaker 1>Mina with Luther as the referee. Know if they ever
<v Speaker 1>pick up with that storyline, I wouldn't be surprised if
<v Speaker 1>Mina is revealed as the attacker, the one who laid
<v Speaker 1>out Tony in the first place. Ah. They say Legion
<v Speaker 1>of Doom came from he Man, but it came from
<v Speaker 1>super Yes, Okay, yes, So I believe I did make
<v Speaker 1>that correction for them. As a he Man fan from
<v Speaker 1>back in the day, I would have known that. So
<v Speaker 1>maybe that's what he's referring to. Maybe I corrected them.
<v Speaker 1>May says Yes, that was also the same review where
<v Speaker 1>you revealed it as a kid, you would dress up
<v Speaker 1>as he man and then crash into the recliner head on.
<v Speaker 1>I did that many times. You know how many rips
<v Speaker 1>and tears were in that leather recliner because I would
<v Speaker 1>just crash into it. I probably gave myself CTE. I
<v Speaker 1>crashed into it so many times. I had a battle
<v Speaker 1>cat inflatable, so I didn't even tell the best part
<v Speaker 1>of the story. Sometimes I would just run through the
<v Speaker 1>house and run through the living or the apartment and
<v Speaker 1>run through the living room and crash into the recliner
<v Speaker 1>with my with my sword and just knock myself loopy.
<v Speaker 1>But I also had a battle cat inflatable, and I
<v Speaker 1>would ride it like a horse. So I would just
<v Speaker 1>kind of ride it through the apartment with my sword
<v Speaker 1>in one hand, and I would say, you know, I
<v Speaker 1>have the power. Yeah. My father would be in the
<v Speaker 1>other room. Sometimes, shut the fuck up. I was just
<v Speaker 1>I was doing it NonStop. Probably got so sick of
<v Speaker 1>me even saying it, I have the power. Oh, it
<v Speaker 1>was good times, good times anyway, Thank you guys for
<v Speaker 1>a fun Friday night. We talked wrestling, We talked some NBA.
<v Speaker 1>There very exciting final few closing moments of the game.
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot going on here tonight, some he man.
<v Speaker 1>So the next time I am with you on this
<v Speaker 1>YouTube channel will be Monday night, which just so happens
<v Speaker 1>to be Game three in Madison Square Garden. No tickets
<v Speaker 1>for us regular folks, by the way, they shut all
<v Speaker 1>the regular fans out of buying actual tickets to this game,
<v Speaker 1>not that anybody could actually fucking afford them. But I
<v Speaker 1>will be streaming for the raw post show on Monday night.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully you can join me, or if you want to
<v Speaker 1>do the double screen, if you get to be watching
<v Speaker 1>the game on one me on the other, that's cool.
<v Speaker 1>Although I probably won't be live until eleven, so the
<v Speaker 1>game may be over at that point. I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>we'll see. But before that we have episode nine sixty six.
<v Speaker 1>We got a lot to talk about on the sound

<v Speaker 1>stay safe, have Yourself's a great weekend wherever you may be.
