<v Speaker 1>Man big win earlier for England against Croatia in the
<v Speaker 1>World Cup, and as we are alive right now, there
<v Speaker 1>is actually a World Cup match going on as we
<v Speaker 1>speak between Columbia and Uzbekistan. I wish I was as
<v Speaker 1>into it as I know some people are. Some people
<v Speaker 1>are just like following every game, you know, all hours
<v Speaker 1>of the day. It's pretty exciting to watch some of
<v Speaker 1>the highlights. I just I don't have time to keep
<v Speaker 1>up with it all. I need somebody to give me
<v Speaker 1>a crash course and everything that's going on with the
<v Speaker 1>World Cup. We got to talk about Dynamite tonight. We're
<v Speaker 1>talking about aw on the Road to Forbidden Door, and
<v Speaker 1>we got some really good wrestling on the show. That
<v Speaker 1>was really what carried the episode tonight. We got some
<v Speaker 1>really good wrestling, the opposite of what we had on
<v Speaker 1>Monday night, where we had very little wrestling. So I
<v Speaker 1>can appreciate that we actually had some good matches tonight.
<v Speaker 1>But outside of a couple of those matches, I can't
<v Speaker 1>sit here and tell you that I'm any more excited
<v Speaker 1>for the pay per view coming up in ten days
<v Speaker 1>or whatever it is than I was a week ago.
<v Speaker 1>I wish I could sit here and tell you that
<v Speaker 1>I was, oh Man, super excited about this Forbidden Door show,
<v Speaker 1>but nah, a couple of matches on their shore. I
<v Speaker 1>think the Owen finals on the men's and women's side
<v Speaker 1>are going to be really good. And I'm sure. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I say this for every AW pay per view, right,
<v Speaker 1>we know the n ring they have that on lock, right,
<v Speaker 1>that's never really in doubt. But it's also about like,
<v Speaker 1>how hyped are you for these events? How hyped are
<v Speaker 1>you for the matches going into it. I'm not feeling
<v Speaker 1>it for this show. I'm just not feeling it. We
<v Speaker 1>had MJF and Mark Briscoe. We learned last week that
<v Speaker 1>instead of getting an AW championship match on the pay
<v Speaker 1>per view, possibly because Mf's knee is not one hundred percent,
<v Speaker 1>they don't want to do a title match. So maybe
<v Speaker 1>that's why they're not doing it. I don't know. What
<v Speaker 1>they're doing instead is we're going to be getting a
<v Speaker 1>six on six team match inside of a steel cage.
<v Speaker 1>We had a cage match that headlined last year's Forbidden Door.
<v Speaker 1>Now we're getting it again, and so tonight both men
<v Speaker 1>were going to choose the members of their respective teams.
<v Speaker 1>And not only that, but we were going to get
<v Speaker 1>a preview of that match because we got a twelve
<v Speaker 1>man tag team match in the main event tonight. So
<v Speaker 1>they gave the match away just without the cage. But
<v Speaker 1>we learn who the members are going to be, and
<v Speaker 1>on the MJF site, it's pretty much who you would expect, right.
<v Speaker 1>He went to the Kallis family, and so it's populated
<v Speaker 1>by members of the Don Kallis family. MJF is going
<v Speaker 1>to be teaming up with people like Androde Ledlow, Kevin Knight,
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle. Right, he's got his men that
<v Speaker 1>he is going to be in the ring with Okada,
<v Speaker 1>and then Mark Briscoe is going to have members of
<v Speaker 1>the conglomeration, but not all members of the Conglomeration. He
<v Speaker 1>will also have Kenoski Takeshta, and he will have Darby
<v Speaker 1>Allen and I talked about this last week. It made
<v Speaker 1>sense for both of them to be involved given the
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight and le Fletcher are going to be in there,
<v Speaker 1>so they will be a part of that match as well.
<v Speaker 1>And so again we got a preview in the main
<v Speaker 1>event tonight, which when about the way that you would
<v Speaker 1>expect because I think everybody pretty much realizes that Mark
<v Speaker 1>Briscoe of course, is going to get his championship match,
<v Speaker 1>which means his team has to win at Forbidden Door.
<v Speaker 1>They didn't have to win tonight. You've got to at
<v Speaker 1>least create the illusion that for all of this tension
<v Speaker 1>between MJF and members of the Kallis family like Fletcher
<v Speaker 1>and Androte, that they can work together as a unit.
<v Speaker 1>You have to give people the impression that they can
<v Speaker 1>put their differences aside long enough to potentially win the
<v Speaker 1>match at the pay per view. That was the entire
<v Speaker 1>purpose of them doing what they did tonight. So they
<v Speaker 1>want to show you, oh, look, yeah they can coexist, right,
<v Speaker 1>can they coexist? The answer is yes, they were mostly
<v Speaker 1>able to co exist tonight. That will not be the
<v Speaker 1>case of Forbidden Door. Mercedes Money she is going to
<v Speaker 1>Forbidden Door. The only question is who's she going to
<v Speaker 1>be in the ring with. G I wonder, Oh, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I'll take a wild guess. We won't know
<v Speaker 1>until collision, but it's going to be Mercedes and Athena
<v Speaker 1>at Forbidden Door. Mercedes, in the meantime, tonight went in
<v Speaker 1>there with Hazuki and the two of them had a
<v Speaker 1>great match couple of years ago, so this was the
<v Speaker 1>first time I think that they've been in the ring
<v Speaker 1>together since twenty twenty four. They went out there, they
<v Speaker 1>got over twenty minutes in this semi final match, and
<v Speaker 1>they tore it up in the ring. There were moments
<v Speaker 1>in the match where the camera cut to like a
<v Speaker 1>close up shot of Mercedes and she looked like she
<v Speaker 1>was just death warmed over, like she was getting her
<v Speaker 1>ass kicked here by this woman. But again, it went
<v Speaker 1>the way that you would expect it to go. That
<v Speaker 1>was the best match on the entire show. And then
<v Speaker 1>we had a face to face confrontation between the two
<v Speaker 1>men who we know will be in the finals of
<v Speaker 1>the Menzoen at Forbidden Door. And this was also really
<v Speaker 1>good stuff between Swerve Strickland and will Osprey. Those really
<v Speaker 1>were the highlights of the show tonight. A really good
<v Speaker 1>promo segment with those two wrapped up by or wrapped
<v Speaker 1>up in a couple of really good wrestling matches. But
<v Speaker 1>as I sit here and we talk about Forbidden Door,
<v Speaker 1>we're on the road to Forbidden Door again. The bloom
<v Speaker 1>is off the rose and the bloom has been off
<v Speaker 1>the Rose for a while now, these shows just seemed
<v Speaker 1>so pointless. Actually, what I was expecting is coming out
<v Speaker 1>of Dominion this past weekend, that maybe we would have
<v Speaker 1>some New Japan announcements about more New Japan talents they're
<v Speaker 1>going to be involved in the show. We got nothing tonight.
<v Speaker 1>The only announcements that we got tonight were Cope and Christian,
<v Speaker 1>who were back on the show. Are going to be
<v Speaker 1>defending their tag team titles against the Dogs, right, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>like the announcements that we got tonight were AW announcements
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley and Bandido for the continental title. There was
<v Speaker 1>nothing concerning CMLL. There was nothing concerning New Japan. It's
<v Speaker 1>just very weird and this was I feel like it
<v Speaker 1>was the same way last year where it was mostly
<v Speaker 1>AW stuff. But in order to justify calling it Forbidden
<v Speaker 1>Door again, Tony feels compelled to like, Okay, we'll include
<v Speaker 1>some talents from here and there because we have to
<v Speaker 1>justify the concepts somehow. But you know, it's basically it
<v Speaker 1>feels like an AW show. It feels like any other
<v Speaker 1>AW show that you would get any other month. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not expecting a double or nothing. Double or nothing was Honestly,
<v Speaker 1>Double or Nothing was the event of the year so far.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not anticipating that this will come close to what
<v Speaker 1>we got with Double or Nothing last month. Certainly my
<v Speaker 1>interest level is not where it was a month ago.
<v Speaker 1>This is your aw Dynamite reviewed is Wednesday, June seventeenth,
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six. Yeah, lucky dog. Look, Hazuki is a
<v Speaker 1>hell of a wrestler. She really she She won that
<v Speaker 1>crowd over pretty quickly tonight, a crowd of people that
<v Speaker 1>I would say, by and large, probably did not know
<v Speaker 1>a whole lot about her, maybe never saw her work before.
<v Speaker 1>She was very good. Hit the like button and the
<v Speaker 1>subscribe button. If you are new here, and when you do,
<v Speaker 1>make sure you put notifications on so that when I
<v Speaker 1>go live or I have a new upload, you will
<v Speaker 1>be notified by YouTube. Hopefully sometimes YouTube drops the ball
<v Speaker 1>with that. Hit that like button. Super chats are open.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to be reading your messages as I do
<v Speaker 1>on every stream. I know. We had some of them
<v Speaker 1>that came in before we went live. A Logan Logan Maples,
<v Speaker 1>welcome to the channel. See that's what I'm talking about.
<v Speaker 1>Logan has the right idea to hit that subscribe button.
<v Speaker 1>Let's bring out the wheel. It is a Wednesday, so
<v Speaker 1>you know how things go when it comes to the wheel.
<v Speaker 1>You want to try to keep the number low because
<v Speaker 1>the interest level on Wednesdays is generally lower. You don't
<v Speaker 1>want a number that's too high, otherwise we're not going
<v Speaker 1>to be able to do be the booker. Trying to
<v Speaker 1>think what is the lowest number? I think the lowest
<v Speaker 1>number on the wheel might be three fifty. Let's see,
<v Speaker 1>well that's certainly not three fifty. We have five hundred
<v Speaker 1>and we don't even have five hundred and fifty people
<v Speaker 1>in here yet, but we need somehow, we need five
<v Speaker 1>hundred and fifty likes. Hey, you know you guys have
<v Speaker 1>two thumbs. I wish you could like it twice. Do
<v Speaker 1>what you can. Five point fifty is the goal. If
<v Speaker 1>we somehow hit five point fifty, then we will do
<v Speaker 1>be the booker. So Dynamite came on the air today.
<v Speaker 1>We were backstage with Lexi Naiir Renee was not there
<v Speaker 1>tonight for whatever reason, but she was backstage with MJF
<v Speaker 1>and virtually the entire don Kallis family. I'm pretty sure
<v Speaker 1>the only people who were missing, I mean Wardlow's been
<v Speaker 1>missing for over a year now, But I think the
<v Speaker 1>main people missing were Mark Davis, Josh Alexander, and Hetcha Sero.
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember the last time we saw Hetchasaro on
<v Speaker 1>one of these shows. I don't know if there's a
<v Speaker 1>visa issue there. There have been reports about visa issues
<v Speaker 1>and that being the reason we haven't seen people like
<v Speaker 1>command during the Beast mortas. But yes, those are the
<v Speaker 1>only men I believe who were missing. Otherwise, they were
<v Speaker 1>all back there, including Don Kallis himself. MJF was there.
<v Speaker 1>MJF said that he doesn't like Kevin Knight, but he
<v Speaker 1>respects Kevin Knight. He's not afraid to stab people in
<v Speaker 1>the back to get ahead, and he kind of looked
<v Speaker 1>over at Kyle Fletcher as he was saying that Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight had the most talent as far as all the
<v Speaker 1>prospects in wrestling. Fletcher didn't like that very much, and
<v Speaker 1>then he turned to address Swerve Strickland, saying that power power,
<v Speaker 1>it's all Swerve ever talks about when he's out there,
<v Speaker 1>power power, power. What do you have Tourette's power power power,
<v Speaker 1>So he said, win the owen and then come take
<v Speaker 1>this championship if you want power. If not, go swerve
<v Speaker 1>right off a bridge. And he also is saying that
<v Speaker 1>he is hoping will Osbury somehow he wins the Owen
<v Speaker 1>and he's the one who gets the championship match at
<v Speaker 1>Wembley Stadium so that he could break his neck. It
<v Speaker 1>told Kenny Omega to hop off his kosher pickle. He'll
<v Speaker 1>never get redemption. And then he asked Don Kallus, how
<v Speaker 1>many times have I beaten Kenny Omega? And Don Kallus
<v Speaker 1>tells him twice, and he says that Omega is nothing
<v Speaker 1>but a mortal who will never get redemption. As if
<v Speaker 1>they couldn't make it any more obvious here, it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>too subtle I would say here in this promo as
<v Speaker 1>far as what the main event of that pay per
<v Speaker 1>view next month should be, hint, hint. MJF said that
<v Speaker 1>everybody that he just mentioned was the star, unlike Mark Briscoe,
<v Speaker 1>and the fans love him because they feel sorry for
<v Speaker 1>him because his brother died, which is horrible. But he's
<v Speaker 1>delusional for thinking that he has a shot at winning
<v Speaker 1>the aw World title. So Don Kallus, he names the
<v Speaker 1>members that will join MJF in this big cage match
<v Speaker 1>as well as the main event tonight. Here on this show,
<v Speaker 1>these are the members that will partner up with MJF.
<v Speaker 1>And he mentions first up, Kevin Knight, He mentions Kyle Fletcher,
<v Speaker 1>he mentions Jake Doyle, he mentions Kazuchka Okada, and then
<v Speaker 1>much to Andrade's surprise, he mentions Andrade Alitalo, who does
<v Speaker 1>not seem terribly enthusiastic about being a part of all this,
<v Speaker 1>and so again we were gonna be getting this main event.
<v Speaker 1>Later in the show, Trent Peretta was in the background
<v Speaker 1>and he looked very He looked crestfallen, like he actually
<v Speaker 1>thought he was going to be selected for this match,
<v Speaker 1>and he was very disappointed when he wasn't you could.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he kind of lingered it if everybody left.
<v Speaker 1>He was sort of lingering in the background. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if that's a leading to anything, but it could
<v Speaker 1>be something just to keep an eye on. Andrete was
<v Speaker 1>not happy. And again Callus had a comment down and say, look,
<v Speaker 1>it's all about the Denio and you're gonna get your shot.
<v Speaker 1>You just gotta be patient. You gotta do this. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>you got to be his partner. You'll get your shot
<v Speaker 1>at some point. So that led into the opening contest,
<v Speaker 1>which was Kenny Omega takeing on Tony Nice. Holy shit,
<v Speaker 1>when was the last time we saw Tony Nice on
<v Speaker 1>an episode of Dine? I couldn't tell you. I have
<v Speaker 1>no idea, but he was out there with Aria Devarian,
<v Speaker 1>smart Mark Sterling in his corner, so Nice he missed
<v Speaker 1>a springboard and moon salt and that was all that
<v Speaker 1>Omega needed. Omega took advantage of that. Two snapdragons, a
<v Speaker 1>v trigger Sterling jumped up on the apron he ate
<v Speaker 1>one as well. That knocked him backwards into Davari on
<v Speaker 1>the floor, and then a one winged angel planted Nice
<v Speaker 1>and that was it. Thank you for coming. We'll see
<v Speaker 1>you again in about eighteen months. So after the match,
<v Speaker 1>Omega was about to speak when outwalks Zach Saber Junior,
<v Speaker 1>his opponent at Forbidden Door. He is not alone, though,
<v Speaker 1>he is with bad Dude Tito, who Kenny Omega beat
<v Speaker 1>on Collision, and Mikey Nichols, and Omega realizes that he's
<v Speaker 1>out numbered here, so he slides the microphone to Saber
<v Speaker 1>in the ring and he goes to they had the
<v Speaker 1>elevated ramp in this venue, very short ramp to the ring.
<v Speaker 1>So Omega is standing on the ramp and he is
<v Speaker 1>joined by the Young Bucks and Jack Perry, who is
<v Speaker 1>in the midst of negotiations with AW. I'm sure he
<v Speaker 1>is going nowhere, but you've seen some stories about him
<v Speaker 1>and his contractual status. The belief is that he will
<v Speaker 1>remain with AW, but they are apparently working out a
<v Speaker 1>new deal. So that's where things stand with Jack Berry.
<v Speaker 1>So Saber kicked the microphone back to Omega, who spoke
<v Speaker 1>again and said that he nor anybody else even knows
<v Speaker 1>what TMDK stands for, right, which is Saber's crew. He
<v Speaker 1>respects Zach coming all this way to challenge little old him,
<v Speaker 1>and yeah, you know he has something that Kenny wants.
<v Speaker 1>Wouldn't it look good on your resume if you had
<v Speaker 1>a big, fat W by your name, But it would
<v Speaker 1>look just as good for Kenny beating somebody from his
<v Speaker 1>home away from home New Japan Pro Wrestling. So it
<v Speaker 1>looks like we have some people here and we will
<v Speaker 1>be meeting up soon. A very underwhelming promo. They seem
<v Speaker 1>to be setting up a trios match, maybe for Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>next week, but otherwise not much to this. I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>it's good to see Kenny Omega on the show, even
<v Speaker 1>if it's a squash, even if it's for ninety seconds.
<v Speaker 1>Everything that came after this, though, was very underwhelming. And again,
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega Zach Saber Junior, they're gonna go out there.
<v Speaker 1>They're not gonna have a bad match. Okay, I guarantee
<v Speaker 1>you they're not gonna have a bad match. Two of
<v Speaker 1>the best in ring performers in the entire business. Still
<v Speaker 1>to this day, they're gonna have an excellent match on
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view. I cannot bring myself to care though,
<v Speaker 1>beyond the fact that, okay, yeah, we're gonna get a
<v Speaker 1>great match. But I wish that there was a reason
<v Speaker 1>to really be kind of interested or invested in this,
<v Speaker 1>beyond the fact that they're okay, there's gonna be a
<v Speaker 1>wrestling match between them. I don't know, But again, this
<v Speaker 1>is the issue with Forbidden Door, where when you do
<v Speaker 1>get in this case, a new japan talent who flies
<v Speaker 1>over and they're going to participate in this show, it
<v Speaker 1>usually is a very last minute thing. They kind of
<v Speaker 1>slap it together. You hope it's marquee enough, maybe a
<v Speaker 1>dream match or something that maybe something we've never seen before.
<v Speaker 1>To me, this doesn't really qualify. I don't look at
<v Speaker 1>this as a dream match or anything like that. So
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I mean, how many people are going
<v Speaker 1>to be overly excited about I know there's a segment
<v Speaker 1>that we'll be super excited about this. I was hoping
<v Speaker 1>for a little something more, I guess in this exchange
<v Speaker 1>here we didn't get much of one, though, But what
<v Speaker 1>we did have after this was John Moxley teaming up
<v Speaker 1>with Daniel Garcia to take on Brody King and Bandido.
<v Speaker 1>First time we've seen Broddo back together on this show
<v Speaker 1>in a while. Moxley hit a cutter on King who
<v Speaker 1>knows sold it, and he dropped him with a lariat.
<v Speaker 1>A little while later, King teased the dive Marina Shafir
<v Speaker 1>Tho stood in the way, so he rolled out the floor.
<v Speaker 1>He started barking at her, so she barked back, and
<v Speaker 1>then he barked again, and she barked, and he barked
<v Speaker 1>and she barked. This is all I hear outside my
<v Speaker 1>window here in this neighborhood every day. So the death Riders.
<v Speaker 1>They isolated Brody king through a picture and picture break
<v Speaker 1>that they took here, and after the break he was
<v Speaker 1>able to fight his way out of things with a
<v Speaker 1>double clothesline. Bandido tagged in. He pressed Garcia over his
<v Speaker 1>head before slamming him onto Moxley, who was laying on
<v Speaker 1>the mat. Bandido went for a twenty one plex Moxley.
<v Speaker 1>They'll cut him off, and then tagged out. Later on,
<v Speaker 1>Bandido hit a top rope frog splash on Garcia, had
<v Speaker 1>him beat Moxley, though entered he hit Bandido with a stomp.
<v Speaker 1>Brody hit a German sup plex on mox who stood
<v Speaker 1>right up, but he got put down with a lariot,
<v Speaker 1>and Bandido hit a twenty one plex on Garcia at
<v Speaker 1>the exact same time that Brody hit a suicide dive
<v Speaker 1>out on to Moxley, and they followed the dive and
<v Speaker 1>we missed the finish. So he hits the twenty one plex,
<v Speaker 1>but we never actually saw it, which was certainly a
<v Speaker 1>choice by the production team here, and he got the pin,
<v Speaker 1>and so Brodido picks up the win over the death Riders.
<v Speaker 1>They gave these guys a lot of time. They gave
<v Speaker 1>them over twenty minutes for this something like twenty two minutes.
<v Speaker 1>Not too surprising when you think about the fact that
<v Speaker 1>we didn't have a lot of matches on this show.
<v Speaker 1>The ones that we did have outside of the Omega
<v Speaker 1>one were very long. They were very long. They were
<v Speaker 1>usually twenty twenty ish minutes. I think this match, the
<v Speaker 1>Owen match with Mercedes were about the same length, and
<v Speaker 1>then the main event, I think was a little last.
<v Speaker 1>The main event was like seventeen or eighteen minutes, so
<v Speaker 1>we didn't get a lot of matches on the show.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of makes sense why these would get more time
<v Speaker 1>with that win though. In the back later Brody and
<v Speaker 1>Bandito were being interviewed. Bandido was all hyped up. He's
<v Speaker 1>all amped up. He said he wanted to challenge Moxley
<v Speaker 1>for his Continental championship at Forbidden Door. Death Riders show up.
<v Speaker 1>Moxley tells Bandido, you do realize that means it's Continental rules,
<v Speaker 1>which means no Brody King, no death Riders, right, nobody
<v Speaker 1>will be with us at ringside, and Moxley tells him
<v Speaker 1>shoot your shot. And we were informed later in the
<v Speaker 1>show that Tony Kahan made it official. It will be
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley defending his championship on the pay per view
<v Speaker 1>against Bandido, yet another match that I'm sure is going
<v Speaker 1>to be very good. I mean, Bandido is Bandido was
<v Speaker 1>so much fun, you know, and not for nothing. Moxley's
<v Speaker 1>had some bangers as well this year, but and not
<v Speaker 1>just this year, even going back to the Continental Classic,
<v Speaker 1>Bandido is one of the best in the world. Every
<v Speaker 1>time I watch Bandido, I don't think I've seen a
<v Speaker 1>Bandido match that isn't just fun, that isn't fun to watch.
<v Speaker 1>So I'm sure it's gonna be good, but it just
<v Speaker 1>kind of falls out of the sky. It's like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I guess now we're getting John Moxley against Bandido at
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view, Sure, why not? Backstage, we have
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher and Kazutka Okada pro to Okata or in
<v Speaker 1>the back saying they haven't forgotten about the international title
<v Speaker 1>even though they're teaming up with mjf tonight and again
<v Speaker 1>at the pay per view, but they both know somebody
<v Speaker 1>who won't be teaming with Mark Briscoe and the camera
<v Speaker 1>pans down and we see tomohiro Ishi laid out at
<v Speaker 1>their feet. They wish brisco good luck finding another partner
<v Speaker 1>and say that they will see him later tonight in
<v Speaker 1>the main event, Big Tom, Big Tom has been taken
<v Speaker 1>out here. Oh heavens, what will Mark Briscoe do without
<v Speaker 1>Big Tom in his corner? Stay tuned to find out.
<v Speaker 1>We'll go through the teams again a little bit later.
<v Speaker 1>Tomaso Champa, he was a seated backstage, says he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>need one thousand and four reasons why he hates Chris Jericho.
<v Speaker 1>He can give him one. He used to respect the
<v Speaker 1>Lion Heart, the guy who took over New Japan Pro
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling first ever aw World champion. That guy was the
<v Speaker 1>best twenty twenty six Chris Jericho though, the jokes, the puns,
<v Speaker 1>and the desperation. He hates every bit of it. That
<v Speaker 1>guy needs to stay the hell out of Champa's world.
<v Speaker 1>But if Jericho has it in him and thinks that
<v Speaker 1>he's worthy enough, then let's dance balls in your court.
<v Speaker 1>Don't drop it. The segment between them and the ring
<v Speaker 1>last week I thought was fucking terrible. That forced, you know,
<v Speaker 1>childlike comedy calling him Tommy and talking about Tommy's mommy. Like,
<v Speaker 1>what a fucking terrible segment that was? This was very straightforward.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, not much to it really, Jericho. There was
<v Speaker 1>a segment later in the show with Jericho where yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he's not gonna say no. Of course. The only question
<v Speaker 1>is do they do it at Forbidden Door? I assume
<v Speaker 1>they do it at the pay per view. I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>think they want to leave Jericho off the show. But
<v Speaker 1>if they do it there, it's just another example, like
<v Speaker 1>it's an aw match, and again it just goes to
<v Speaker 1>the whole forbidden door thing. There's nothing forbidden door about this,
<v Speaker 1>so if they do it on the show, it's just
<v Speaker 1>another in a long line of examples of this. The
<v Speaker 1>Dogs were about to make their way out and something
<v Speaker 1>that they have taken to doing is bullying production staff
<v Speaker 1>as they make their way out to the ring. Only
<v Speaker 1>this time they tried to bully one of them, but
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't a production staff member. It was Adam Copeland.
<v Speaker 1>He had his back turned so they didn't realize it
<v Speaker 1>until he turned around, and Christian Cage was there as well.
<v Speaker 1>They got laid out a couple of weeks ago on
<v Speaker 1>TV by these guys, so this was their big return.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I wasn't expecting them back this quickly,
<v Speaker 1>so I'm glad they're back. You know, they won the
<v Speaker 1>tag team titles. They shouldn't then turn around and disappear
<v Speaker 1>for weeks on end. So anyway, they started beating up
<v Speaker 1>the Dogs. They fought them out to the ring. They
<v Speaker 1>were about to lay out Clark Connors with a double spear,
<v Speaker 1>David Finley, they'll pulled his partner out to safety, and
<v Speaker 1>the Dogs bailed through the crowd. So Christian said, you know,
<v Speaker 1>after what happened a few weeks ago and they won
<v Speaker 1>the aw tag team titles, people expect him to say
<v Speaker 1>something very unsavory about, you know, one of their family members.
<v Speaker 1>But they're wrong. Even he has standards. In the crowd booed,
<v Speaker 1>they booed standards. Wrestling fans have no standards. Cage said,
<v Speaker 1>though still he's never seen a tag team named after
<v Speaker 1>their mothers before, which see that I kind of like
<v Speaker 1>Copeland said. The Dogs are them from thirty years ago.
<v Speaker 1>So they understand wanting to make a name off their reputations,
<v Speaker 1>but don't realize that Cage and Copeland, they are their
<v Speaker 1>learning curve. They thought that they knew it all, but
<v Speaker 1>they came up against the New Age Outlaws. They came
<v Speaker 1>up against the APA, realizing that they had to learn,
<v Speaker 1>and they picked up a lot from facing those teams.
<v Speaker 1>It's very simple at Forbidden Door. They're going to use
<v Speaker 1>their old man's strength, their knowledge, and their grumpiness to
<v Speaker 1>make sure that when the Dogs enter their house, they
<v Speaker 1>will walk out as broken untrained pups. Tag team title match,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, is now official for the pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>The Dogs will get their shot against Cope and Christian See.
<v Speaker 1>At this point, we're just waiting for the New Day
<v Speaker 1>to show up and shake things up in the tag
<v Speaker 1>team division, maybe even the MotorCity machine Guns. Don't forget
<v Speaker 1>you know, you give it another I don't know, four
<v Speaker 1>or five weeks. There's going to be a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>ninety day clauses that are going to be coming up.
<v Speaker 1>There's gonna be a lot of free agents all of
<v Speaker 1>a sudden, some of them are going to be right
<v Speaker 1>here in this tag team division. We're just biting time
<v Speaker 1>basically until we get there. We got footage of Starlight
<v Speaker 1>Kid from Japan and they showed her cutting a promo
<v Speaker 1>on Tekla who she will be challenging a Forbidden Door
<v Speaker 1>for the aw Women's World Championship. And this feels like
<v Speaker 1>a Forbidden Door match, right, This is more in line
<v Speaker 1>with the spirit of Forbidden Door, and they made it
<v Speaker 1>a point the announcers did to mention the fact that
<v Speaker 1>in the past she has beaten Techla. In fact, I
<v Speaker 1>think she's beaten Tekla twice in the past. So we
<v Speaker 1>go to comments from Tekla. She's sitting backstage talking about
<v Speaker 1>how she did all that dojo life, the same dojo
<v Speaker 1>life that made Starlight Kid a star, but it got
<v Speaker 1>Tecla kicked out of stardom. Tony Khan has said that
<v Speaker 1>Starlight Kid is his favorite wrestler outside of aaw Techla
<v Speaker 1>doesn't care about that. All she cares about is the
<v Speaker 1>belt around her waist. Spitting on the Stardom logo is
<v Speaker 1>just the beginning of what Starlight Kid could be offended by,
<v Speaker 1>as she'll take her mask off and spit right in
<v Speaker 1>her face. Got a hakka lugi in se bit right
<v Speaker 1>in her face at Forbidden Door. For those of you
<v Speaker 1>who are not familiar with Starlight Kids, she is very good.
<v Speaker 1>I can, off the top of my head points you
<v Speaker 1>to any one specific match. There was a match I
<v Speaker 1>think I saw once. I don't remember how long ago.
<v Speaker 1>It was I want to say it was her and
<v Speaker 1>Azumi that was really good. But she's just she's very talented.
<v Speaker 1>She is a big name for them to be able
<v Speaker 1>to bring over from stardom, and that should be a
<v Speaker 1>very good match. Speaking of very good matches, that leads
<v Speaker 1>to the best match on this show. Probably the best
<v Speaker 1>thing on this show, maybe outside of the Osprey promo
<v Speaker 1>would swerve, which was the semi finals of the Women's
<v Speaker 1>Owen Heart Foundation Tournament. Mercedes Monet made her surprise return
<v Speaker 1>a few weeks ago. She beat Alex Winter, so now
<v Speaker 1>in this round she was going one on one with Hazuki.
<v Speaker 1>These two had a match back in two thousand twenty
<v Speaker 1>four that was very good. I think it went almost
<v Speaker 1>thirty minutes. It's been a while since these two have
<v Speaker 1>matched up in the ring together, and they went out
<v Speaker 1>there tonight and they had a hell of a match. Mercedes,
<v Speaker 1>she slowed things down very early, but it started to
<v Speaker 1>pick up when Hazuki sidestepped a charge through the rope.
<v Speaker 1>She had a DDT on the apron and then she
<v Speaker 1>followed that by three consecutive suicide dives that by the
<v Speaker 1>time she was done, I mean, she was all fired up.
<v Speaker 1>The crowd was getting fired up. She went up top
<v Speaker 1>shotgun dropkick only for a two camp, but she transitioned
<v Speaker 1>into a crossface. Mercedes was able to fight to the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>She had encountered a supplex into two of the three
<v Speaker 1>amigos before sending Hazuki through the ropes. She had a
<v Speaker 1>meteora from the ropes to the elevated ramp and they
<v Speaker 1>actually took a second commercial break at this point. That's
<v Speaker 1>how much time does match got, so even more meteors
<v Speaker 1>after this from Mercedes. You know, she spams that move
<v Speaker 1>about as much as the Young Bucks and the Usos
<v Speaker 1>do with the superkick. I would imagine those knees are
<v Speaker 1>not going to feel too good in twenty years when
<v Speaker 1>she's wrapping up her career. I mean, it's not uncommon
<v Speaker 1>to see seven or eight different meteors from Mercedes in
<v Speaker 1>a match, so she was spamming the meteors here. Finally
<v Speaker 1>she missed one because she went forward again and Hazuki
<v Speaker 1>took over. She hit a lung blower, she landed a
<v Speaker 1>top rope, sent on for a near fall again. She
<v Speaker 1>transitioned quickly into a cross face, and Mercedes was able
<v Speaker 1>to escape, so Hazuki spiked Mercedes with a spinning DDT
<v Speaker 1>and then a brain buster, and Mercedes very wisely rolled
<v Speaker 1>out of the ring to prevent the pen attempt, so
<v Speaker 1>the time that it then took Hazuki to get her
<v Speaker 1>back into the ring, it gave Mercedes a chance to
<v Speaker 1>go for a lung blower that led to a whole
<v Speaker 1>bunch of back and forth pen attempts. Mercedes she wrenched
<v Speaker 1>Hazuki down to the met very violently into a statement maker.
<v Speaker 1>Hazuki was able to roll into a pin attempt, though
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes hit a backstaber, but Hazuki slid through a monet
<v Speaker 1>maker into another near fall. Back and forth these two
<v Speaker 1>women were going. Finally Mercedes got another backstabber statement Maker replied,
<v Speaker 1>and Hazuki tried her best to hang on and fight
<v Speaker 1>out of it, but ultimately she was forced to tap
<v Speaker 1>out and Mercedes monet to the surprise of no one.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure is going to the finals of the Women's
<v Speaker 1>owen Hart Foundation Tournament in just a couple of weeks.
<v Speaker 1>This is my second favorite match of either tournament so far,
<v Speaker 1>after the will Ospry Mark Davis match that closed Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>A couple of weeks ago. This right here, this is
<v Speaker 1>number two for me. I just thought this was tremendous
<v Speaker 1>stuff here from these two. They got a lot of
<v Speaker 1>time again, the same as the opening tag team match,
<v Speaker 1>twenty two minutes, somewhere in that range. Mercedes generally she'll
<v Speaker 1>get what she wants. I remember was it stat Land.
<v Speaker 1>It might have been Statlander a World's End a couple
<v Speaker 1>of years ago. They got like twenty five minutes, and
<v Speaker 1>they said that that was the longest women's match in
<v Speaker 1>AW history. And it's not surprising to me that it
<v Speaker 1>was a Mercedes Moonet match, you know, because I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>she goes to Tony Conn and says, look, this is
<v Speaker 1>how much time you know that I want, or this
<v Speaker 1>is how much time that we need. Tony gives it
<v Speaker 1>to her because she goes out there. When you give
<v Speaker 1>her time, especially with the right person, she goes out there,
<v Speaker 1>she has these killer matches. And so this this was
<v Speaker 1>no different. They had plenty of time. It started slow,
<v Speaker 1>it built. It was very impressive that the people were
<v Speaker 1>able to get behind you know, Hazuki as much as
<v Speaker 1>they were able to, because again I'm sure many of
<v Speaker 1>them have no idea who this woman is or maybe
<v Speaker 1>they've heard the name, but they're not really super familiar
<v Speaker 1>with her work. I know some of the Sikos are,
<v Speaker 1>but she had the crowd, you know one over here
<v Speaker 1>in this match, and they just work well together. They
<v Speaker 1>should gel well together. But the outcome here was never
<v Speaker 1>in doubt. So now we look ahead and on Collision
<v Speaker 1>this coming weekend, it's going to be Athena on the
<v Speaker 1>other side of the bracket wrestling Maya World. Mayo World
<v Speaker 1>had a nice story last week, as sad as it was,
<v Speaker 1>her brother passed away. She was not supposed to be
<v Speaker 1>in that match, but Sire was not medically cleared. She
<v Speaker 1>had brought her tag team partner along with her from Japan.
<v Speaker 1>She was going to sort of pinch hit for her,
<v Speaker 1>but Tony Kahan made the decision to go with Maya World.
<v Speaker 1>She went out there with Sky Blue. They had a
<v Speaker 1>very good match last week, and Mayo World pulled off
<v Speaker 1>the big upset win. So she gets to go at
<v Speaker 1>least one more round deeper into the tournament, but her
<v Speaker 1>tournament run should come to an end this weekend. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad that she's getting the opportunity to go out
<v Speaker 1>there I think they're in Texas and Mercedes is not Mercedes,
<v Speaker 1>but Athena is from Texas. Mayas from Texas should be
<v Speaker 1>a good match. But the only match I want to
<v Speaker 1>see at Forbidden do It is not my World against
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes Monete is Athena against Mercedes. We got it one
<v Speaker 1>time on Dynamite over a year ago. It was very good.
<v Speaker 1>And now you put them in the ring on a
<v Speaker 1>pay per view in a tournament final, and you probably
<v Speaker 1>give them at least twenty minutes. They're gonna have a
<v Speaker 1>fucking kick ass match. And yeah, I'll save the Forbidden
<v Speaker 1>Door predictions for later on. I would not make any
<v Speaker 1>assumptions that Mercedes has this under lock and key, I
<v Speaker 1>don't see it that way. I think it could very easily.
<v Speaker 1>There is a scenario in which it could very easily
<v Speaker 1>swing the other way. But that is the match that
<v Speaker 1>I want to see on that pay per view. The
<v Speaker 1>other match I want to see on that pay per
<v Speaker 1>view is the men's owen Hart Final. We got those
<v Speaker 1>two two men in the next segment here, Will Osprey
<v Speaker 1>and Swerve Strickland. If if that match I just talked
<v Speaker 1>about wasn't the best thing on the show, it was
<v Speaker 1>because this was but these two segments, back to back,
<v Speaker 1>were the best parts of Dynamite. Tonight, Tony Schavani is
<v Speaker 1>in the Ring. He welcomes Will Ospray out and he
<v Speaker 1>congratulates him on getting married, because this past week, Osprey
<v Speaker 1>got married to Alex Windsor. Now they never mentioned her
<v Speaker 1>by name, even though they've shown them together on screen,
<v Speaker 1>but yes, they are now officially husband and wife. And
<v Speaker 1>Osprey said that, you know, he was supposed to be
<v Speaker 1>on his honeymoon, but his wife said, look, we can
<v Speaker 1>go to Hawaii whenever we want to. Right now, you
<v Speaker 1>need to go chase your dream. So he said that
<v Speaker 1>he took her upstairs and he smashed the life out
<v Speaker 1>of her, and then he told her to clean yourself
<v Speaker 1>up because he's got to go to Houston. See now
<v Speaker 1>there's a visual I did not need. That's a visual
<v Speaker 1>that wasn't needed for you, for yours truly. That led
<v Speaker 1>to Shavanni introducing Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana, who came
<v Speaker 1>to the Ring. Nona basically kicked Shavanni out, and Swerve said,
<v Speaker 1>it's been almost a year since he even spoke with Ospray.
<v Speaker 1>No texts no calls, and he said that he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>like what he's seen. He's changed. Osprey said nothing about
<v Speaker 1>him has changed except his hair, while something about Swerve
<v Speaker 1>has changed the way he's looking at him. So do
<v Speaker 1>we need to have a chat about something? Swerve said,
<v Speaker 1>We do everything we fought for last year against the
<v Speaker 1>Death Riders, only now I see you every single week
<v Speaker 1>here at these arenas playing Booty boot Camp backstage with
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley. Osprey never even gave a reason why. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>Brev better than Jelly Roll and Kit Wilson's mind, Well
<v Speaker 1>that is that is for damn sure, that's another visual.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't need fucking Jelly Roll in his you remember,
<v Speaker 1>I hate to even bring this up. What did he
<v Speaker 1>talk about in his slam poetry, the rolls of fat
<v Speaker 1>that he would drape over? Oh my god, I'm gonna eh,
<v Speaker 1>I'm just gonna fucking dry heave again. Yeah, I'll take
<v Speaker 1>I'll take almost anything over that visual. I actually curse
<v Speaker 1>you for reminding me, Brev. Thank you, Brev. I wish
<v Speaker 1>this was the Wembley World Title match. This would be
<v Speaker 1>a hell of a match to do in the main
<v Speaker 1>event of Wembley. You are correct, Osprey said, look, I
<v Speaker 1>haven't forgotten and I have n't forgiven what the death
<v Speaker 1>writers did to me. But he realized he had to
<v Speaker 1>let it go for the time being, and he said
<v Speaker 1>it's working. His neck feels great. But speaking of the
<v Speaker 1>night that they snapped this, Osprey said, he saw Kenny Omega,
<v Speaker 1>he saw the Ops, He saw Darby Allen trying to
<v Speaker 1>climb into the cage to help him. And then he
<v Speaker 1>made a crack about you know, Darby's able to climb
<v Speaker 1>to the top of Mount Everest, but he can't climb
<v Speaker 1>a cage. I made that very point my review last year.
<v Speaker 1>How fucking ridiculous it was that nobody could climb over
<v Speaker 1>this cage to help will Osprey from getting his neck snapped.
<v Speaker 1>So here he is poking fun at the exact same thing.
<v Speaker 1>It was ridiculous. At least they have a sense of
<v Speaker 1>humor about it. But the one person he did not
<v Speaker 1>see attempting to help him, no, Swerve, Strickland Swerve was
<v Speaker 1>nowhere to be found. Where were you? But he understands
<v Speaker 1>Swerve tore his knee up, he tore his meniscus. They
<v Speaker 1>took the young bucks out of power last year at
<v Speaker 1>all in Texas, and he said that he needed help
<v Speaker 1>to get the championship off of John Moxley and on
<v Speaker 1>to hangman Adam Page. Strickland didn't help though. Will ended
<v Speaker 1>up in a hospital that night and he saw the
<v Speaker 1>footage and then Swerve came out to help it. Will
<v Speaker 1>says that when you're his brother, he expects that you're
<v Speaker 1>going to run through a brick wall for him. That's
<v Speaker 1>what he would do for the other person as well,
<v Speaker 1>and he says, where were you. Swerve goes to speak,
<v Speaker 1>Osprey just smacks the mic right out of his hand
<v Speaker 1>and he says, on second thought, I don't want to
<v Speaker 1>hear it. He says, Swerve is looking for redemption. But
<v Speaker 1>this is his dream, bruv. This is my dream, brov.
<v Speaker 1>He worked outside of Wembley Stadium at various jobs and
<v Speaker 1>when he was fifteen years old, the kid said that
<v Speaker 1>it would be their dream to kick the winning goal
<v Speaker 1>in the World Cup. Now Osprey is one step closer
<v Speaker 1>to kicking that game winning goal at Wembley Stadium. He
<v Speaker 1>doesn't know if Strickland looks at him as a brother
<v Speaker 1>or an enemy, but he knows that Strickland would not
<v Speaker 1>hesitate to end him, and so Osprey will not hesitate
<v Speaker 1>to end Swerve. So Swerve grabs the mic. He said,
<v Speaker 1>as he's you know, not if he ends will first.
<v Speaker 1>It is basically what he said here. Swerve had to
<v Speaker 1>stand in this ring and listen to Osbury say that
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't his time, but it was Hangman's time. And
<v Speaker 1>he sat back and he listened, and they got the
<v Speaker 1>championship away from John Moxley. They got the championship on
<v Speaker 1>to Swerve or onto Hangman. But where's Hangman now? Said Hell,
<v Speaker 1>Hangman can't even challenge for the world title anymore. So
<v Speaker 1>all of your hard work was for nothing. So now
<v Speaker 1>you expect Swerve to just step aside so that you
<v Speaker 1>can take my spot. Fuck that? And they censored the audio.
<v Speaker 1>But I could read lips, just like Roman Reigns and
<v Speaker 1>Jacob fought too on Monday night. I could read lips.
<v Speaker 1>I know what he said. So Strickland said that he
<v Speaker 1>had veterans push him around when he was younger, and
<v Speaker 1>he had to sit at home for six weeks when
<v Speaker 1>he was the aw world champion because weak ass egos
<v Speaker 1>got in the way. I wonder what that's about. But
<v Speaker 1>he throws Molotov cocktails into the system and he enjoys it.
<v Speaker 1>Every time they step in this ring, they raise the bar.
<v Speaker 1>One thing is for certain. He says that he will
<v Speaker 1>be victorious over Osprey as he has been unable to
<v Speaker 1>beat Swerve for the last ten years. And when Strickland
<v Speaker 1>mows over Ospray and he wins the world title at Wembley,
<v Speaker 1>maybe Will could challenge for it and Swerve can beat
<v Speaker 1>him again and again and again. This Will Osprey is
<v Speaker 1>not better than him. On Swerve's worst day with his
<v Speaker 1>fragile ass neck and that was just one crack too
<v Speaker 1>far for Osprey. He punched Swerve in the mouth, knocked
<v Speaker 1>him down on his ass. Prince Nana handed Swerve a
<v Speaker 1>chain and he was gonna use it until the Death
<v Speaker 1>Riders came out and Moxley, Garcia, Marina Shaffir pack. They
<v Speaker 1>all surround the ring and Swerve said to Osprey, he said,
<v Speaker 1>you know you're right, you really have changed, and then
<v Speaker 1>he walked up the ramp and he took his leave.
<v Speaker 1>Ospray left with the Death Riders through the crowd. Daniel
<v Speaker 1>Garcia looked to be upset with Osprey, gus that he
<v Speaker 1>didn't put a bigger beatdown, maybe on Swerve and actually
<v Speaker 1>in the back after this, Garcia was berating Ospray. He
<v Speaker 1>was asking, what are you going to do about, you know,
<v Speaker 1>him calling you fragile? So Ospray slammed Garcia up against
<v Speaker 1>the wall. Moxley walked in. He asked Osprey, do you
<v Speaker 1>feel like you're in control? And he says he doesn't.
<v Speaker 1>Moxley said, it's only words. They use words when they
<v Speaker 1>have nothing else to use. He said, you're this close.
<v Speaker 1>Don't lose control, don't lose focus, and so at that
<v Speaker 1>point Osprey let go of Garcia. I thought this was
<v Speaker 1>a very strong promo. I really enjoyed this. Again, outside
<v Speaker 1>of the visual of Will Ospray going around and smashing
<v Speaker 1>like he's you know, Bruce Ben, but I like the promo.
<v Speaker 1>I liked the callbacks to the story last year where
<v Speaker 1>Swerve and Osprey they were they were trying to help
<v Speaker 1>Hangmen win the championship away from John Moxley so that
<v Speaker 1>he could be the savior of the company. We have
<v Speaker 1>to work together, we have to band together, even with
<v Speaker 1>the bad blood that Swerve and Hangmen had in their past.
<v Speaker 1>We have to help this man win the world title.
<v Speaker 1>We have to get that championship out of that briefcase,
<v Speaker 1>get that title away from the death riders. So I
<v Speaker 1>like them calling back to that. I like the Osprey
<v Speaker 1>calling back to the fact that Swerve, you know, never
<v Speaker 1>showed up. He was one of the people that actually
<v Speaker 1>didn't show up to try to rescue him before he
<v Speaker 1>got his neck broken in London last year. So there's
<v Speaker 1>a lot of history here. The mention of their first match,
<v Speaker 1>the fact that Will has not been able to beat Swerve,
<v Speaker 1>may mean the fact that Swerve beat him two years
<v Speaker 1>ago at this very pay per view, you know, and
<v Speaker 1>that was a very different situation back then because at
<v Speaker 1>that point it was Babyface against Babyface. Swerve was very
<v Speaker 1>early in his world title run. They were trying to
<v Speaker 1>give him some credibility. And now here we are two
<v Speaker 1>years later as a tournament final. The winner is going
<v Speaker 1>to the main event of Wembley. Swerve has been there before,
<v Speaker 1>Osprey has not. And we all know how this story ends,
<v Speaker 1>right the story at the very least, it ends with
<v Speaker 1>him punching his ticket to Wembley and being in the
<v Speaker 1>main event. It can't go any other way. Everything is
<v Speaker 1>being built around this, This tired story is building to
<v Speaker 1>Will Osprey getting into the main event in his home country.
<v Speaker 1>All the stuff with the death writers like, I'm still
<v Speaker 1>expecting there to be a match. Maybe there won't be,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm still expecting there to be a match between
<v Speaker 1>Moxley and Osprey. Is like, this is your final test.
<v Speaker 1>That could be a redemption match, not for the continental title.
<v Speaker 1>The continental title has nothing to do with any of this,
<v Speaker 1>but just to get them in the ring together so
<v Speaker 1>that Will could get that win back over Osprey now
<v Speaker 1>or over Moxley. The only reason maybe they wouldn't do
<v Speaker 1>it is if Osprey's gonna win the championship at Wembley,
<v Speaker 1>maybe they want to set up a program post pay
<v Speaker 1>per view coming out of Wembley where they work together
<v Speaker 1>for the world title, so they don't want to give
<v Speaker 1>it away. Now that's possible, right, because he's gonna need
<v Speaker 1>people to work with other than maybe swerve An MJF
<v Speaker 1>and Moxley may well be one of those people. You know,
<v Speaker 1>they could be playing the long game here where it's like,
<v Speaker 1>all right, at some point these two were going to
<v Speaker 1>wrestle for that World championship. But I really like this.
<v Speaker 1>I thought this was in terms of giving us something
<v Speaker 1>to I think get you more invested or excited or
<v Speaker 1>interested in one of the matches on that pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>To me, anyway, they haven't done a great job with
<v Speaker 1>most of the other matches. This is the sort of
<v Speaker 1>thing that you want to do right to get people
<v Speaker 1>hot for a match between them. I thought they did well.
<v Speaker 1>I thought they succeeded in what they were trying to do.
<v Speaker 1>And then we had the main event. I told you
<v Speaker 1>we didn't have a lot of matches on this show.
<v Speaker 1>That's why they were so damn long. We had Team MJF,
<v Speaker 1>which was MJF, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Kazuska Okata, Jake Doyle,
<v Speaker 1>and androde l Edelo say that ten times fast against
<v Speaker 1>Team Briscoe. But who would be on Team Briscoe? Now,
<v Speaker 1>before I tell you, MJF came out his leg heavily
<v Speaker 1>wrapped his knee, his thigh heavily heavily wrapped up. This
<v Speaker 1>is after he hyper extended his knee in that match
<v Speaker 1>two weeks ago against Rusche. So whether it was just
<v Speaker 1>for added effect or his leg is still that fucked up.
<v Speaker 1>That's the story that they want to tell going into
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view, they drew attention to it on commentary,
<v Speaker 1>so the heels had already entered. And then up on
<v Speaker 1>the big screen we see brisco and he's in the
<v Speaker 1>back and he's flanked by Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong, Orange, Cassidy, Tomohiroe.
<v Speaker 1>She was taken out earlier, so he's not there, and
<v Speaker 1>brisco says that if she will be back, they will
<v Speaker 1>avenge him. Kyle points out that if anybody gets disqualified
<v Speaker 1>in this match tonight, they're out of forbidden door, and
<v Speaker 1>this bums out Briscoe, who says that he was hoping
<v Speaker 1>to smash mjf in the head tonight with a steel chair.
<v Speaker 1>But he says, we got two partners here in addition
<v Speaker 1>to the three that you see here, actually the four,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, the four of them. Number one friend of theirs,
<v Speaker 1>the reigning international champions, somebody who can't wait to get
<v Speaker 1>his hands on Kyle Fletcher and Okata canow skates to Keshi,
<v Speaker 1>so he walks in, and he walks in and he
<v Speaker 1>says that what do you say about Fletcher? I think
<v Speaker 1>he said that with Fletcher, I want you or I
<v Speaker 1>want a piece of you. But then Okata he said,
<v Speaker 1>I hate you. I think that's what it was. The
<v Speaker 1>final member of the team is going to be the
<v Speaker 1>man who really can't wait to get his hands on
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight even more than MJF. And that is the
<v Speaker 1>former AW World champion Darby Allen and Darby comes in.
<v Speaker 1>He says, you know, I've heard that shit about the
<v Speaker 1>glass ceiling my entire life, and we're gonna go out there.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna beat their asses tonight. We're gonna beat their
<v Speaker 1>asses again at Forbidden Door so that Brisco gets his
<v Speaker 1>shot at the AW World title. And so we got
<v Speaker 1>a match here. Jake Doyle actually got more shine than
<v Speaker 1>any other single person in the entire match, and the
<v Speaker 1>announcers even brought up how dominant he was being. Late
<v Speaker 1>in the match, Doyle was holding Darby. They were on
<v Speaker 1>They had worked their way over to the stage where
<v Speaker 1>the announcers were and they have Darby. Kevin Knight is
<v Speaker 1>there as well, and he's throwing some body shots and
<v Speaker 1>kidney shots at him. Doyle and Knight then tossed Darby
<v Speaker 1>off the stage. Off the ramp. Darby hits the ring
<v Speaker 1>post on the way down and it spins his body
<v Speaker 1>as he crashes down to the floor. He just had
<v Speaker 1>to put a little something extra on that bump there,
<v Speaker 1>so that took care of him. We didn't see Darby
<v Speaker 1>again after that. In the ring, Briscoe hit MJF with
<v Speaker 1>a jade driller, dropped him right on his head, but
<v Speaker 1>don Kallus got up on the apron to distract the
<v Speaker 1>referee before he can count the fall, and so brisco
<v Speaker 1>dragged MJF over towards the corner. He went to the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>He was going to go set up for Froggy Bow. Yeah, Roderick,
<v Speaker 1>that's a good points. That's kind of what I was
<v Speaker 1>alluding to before. Could be the Moxley is going to
<v Speaker 1>want to shot at the Championship as a favor for
<v Speaker 1>all the help that he has been providing to will Osprey,
<v Speaker 1>So they may want to save them match for after all.
<v Speaker 1>In anyway, so Brisco drags MJF towards the corner. He's
<v Speaker 1>going to go for Froggy Bow. Fletcher trips him. Roddy
<v Speaker 1>tagged in strong set MJF up for something. MJF though
<v Speaker 1>he wrenched the arm and he applied the salt of
<v Speaker 1>the earth and he got the submission team, MJF picks
<v Speaker 1>up the wind. After the match, the Heels worked over
<v Speaker 1>the baby Faces. MJF put the dynamite diamond ring on
<v Speaker 1>his finger. He wanted Andrade to hold brisco Androtte didn't
<v Speaker 1>like this. He didn't like being ordered around, and so
<v Speaker 1>he argued with MJF and he gave him a shove.
<v Speaker 1>Don Caallus intervened. Finally, Androde held Briscoe and MJF hit
<v Speaker 1>him in the head with the diamond ring and with
<v Speaker 1>all the baby Faces splattered about, the Heels celebrated victorious,
<v Speaker 1>and that is how the show went off the air.
<v Speaker 1>The match was pretty much what you would expect. We
<v Speaker 1>got some good wrestling here, but it was mostly, you know,
<v Speaker 1>trying to tell the story. There was some dissension there
<v Speaker 1>as the match progressed with the callous family members who
<v Speaker 1>do not like MJF. They do not want to help him,
<v Speaker 1>they do not want to team with him. It didn't
<v Speaker 1>matter in the end, He'll still picked up the win.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of a wild match. It's gonna be even wilder
<v Speaker 1>on the pay per view because you're putting them in
<v Speaker 1>a cage now. In the past, aw the cage they
<v Speaker 1>use is huge because you think, like, man, they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>put twelve of these guys in one cage. It's not
<v Speaker 1>even blood and guts where you have two rings. But
<v Speaker 1>from my memory, they use a pretty big cage, so
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure it's not gonna be an issue. But you're
<v Speaker 1>still taking twelve guys and putting them in a cage.
<v Speaker 1>At the end of the day, it's gonna be a clusterfuck.
<v Speaker 1>And in a cage match, there's no rules, so you
<v Speaker 1>know people are gonna bleed, there's gonna be weapons. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you know what to expect. Just take a look at
<v Speaker 1>what they did last year. That was lights out. I
<v Speaker 1>think this is not, but it's gonna be the same thing.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna be. So this was a tamer version of
<v Speaker 1>what we are going to get on the pay per
<v Speaker 1>view on the twenty eighth. It was fine. It was
<v Speaker 1>not the best match of the show. It was not
<v Speaker 1>my favorite match of the show, but it was fine.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of you know, big names in there as
<v Speaker 1>far as this roster is concerned, and the Heels getting
<v Speaker 1>the win, I mean, come on, you had to see
<v Speaker 1>that coming from a mile away, because it's gonna swing
<v Speaker 1>the other way Forbidden Door. The only way this ends
<v Speaker 1>is with Briscoe's team getting the win, so that way
<v Speaker 1>he can get his championship match and they can hopefully
<v Speaker 1>just do it on Dynamite. At some point in July
<v Speaker 1>they have these themed episodes of Dynamite. You do it
<v Speaker 1>on Dynamite, you get it out of the way. The
<v Speaker 1>thing I will say that I at least like that
<v Speaker 1>they're trying to do here. If you look at the
<v Speaker 1>people who are in this who are in the match tonight,
<v Speaker 1>who are in the match of Forbidden Door, it isn't
<v Speaker 1>just like a random collection of people. I mean Jake
<v Speaker 1>Doyle being in their shore, but it isn't really just
<v Speaker 1>a random collection of people. You do have different stories
<v Speaker 1>at least that are progressing as part of this one
<v Speaker 1>match MJF and Briscoe. MJF is also not well liked
<v Speaker 1>by Kyle Fletcher. He's well liked by Andrade. He's not
<v Speaker 1>well liked by Kevin Knight, right, so he got that
<v Speaker 1>especially the Andrade element. You have that element going on.
<v Speaker 1>Is that going to cause issues between members of the
<v Speaker 1>Kallis family. Is Andrade going to you know, be it
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight's throat we don't know, Androte feels like he's
<v Speaker 1>already got one foot out the door anyway. He's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be a baby face soon enough. But then you got Takeshta,
<v Speaker 1>who doesn't like Fletcher, but he also doesn't like Okada,
<v Speaker 1>so he got that going on. You got Darby Allen,
<v Speaker 1>he hates Kevin Knight, but he also hates MJF. So
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of that going on at least, which
<v Speaker 1>I like. I'm still just not a fan of lumping
<v Speaker 1>again everybody together and running back a multiman cage match.
<v Speaker 1>And I really hope this does not become the new
<v Speaker 1>annual thing that they do on these shows. But if
<v Speaker 1>mjfsknee is not yet one hundred percent and they don't
<v Speaker 1>trust him enough or they don't want to risk it
<v Speaker 1>to put him in a singles match, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if we would have gotten this match regardless. My gut
<v Speaker 1>tells me no that you would have just done the
<v Speaker 1>title match at Forbidden Door. Just do it there, Just
<v Speaker 1>blow it off there, and if you want to take
<v Speaker 1>some of these other guys and do some sort of
<v Speaker 1>you know, match or a trios match them, you could
<v Speaker 1>always do that, because I think the direction for I
<v Speaker 1>guess it could be Redemption. But if not Redemption, then
<v Speaker 1>Wembley would be Darby challenging Kevin Knight Right, you would
<v Speaker 1>think for the TNT Championship to Keshtan Fletcher. Again, that
<v Speaker 1>feels to me like a Wembley match. But you got
<v Speaker 1>this Redemption pay per view coming up on the twenty
<v Speaker 1>sixth of July, first time they've ever had one of those.
<v Speaker 1>I'm expecting MJF and Kenny omegaan the main events on
<v Speaker 1>that show. I really I don't see how it could
<v Speaker 1>be anything else. I think you got to do the
<v Speaker 1>Brisco match on TV. That main event at Redemption has
<v Speaker 1>to be Omega and MJF. They've dropped too many hints
<v Speaker 1>for it not to be anything else would be a
<v Speaker 1>disappoint So there you go. I liked, I really liked
<v Speaker 1>a couple of the matches on this show. And again,
<v Speaker 1>if you did not see the promo with Osprey and Swerve,
<v Speaker 1>I would go out of your way to go take
<v Speaker 1>a look at that. Outside of that, yeah, pretty average
<v Speaker 1>episode of Dynamite, basically what you would have expected. Take
<v Speaker 1>a look at the wheel goal was five point fifty
<v Speaker 1>for those who joined late, and we are currently at
<v Speaker 1>three fifty eight. An admirable effort, but it does not
<v Speaker 1>look like we are going to be doing any Be
<v Speaker 1>the Booker tonight, So unfortunately, Be the Booker will have
<v Speaker 1>to wait until at least Monday, because I will not
<v Speaker 1>be here on Friday for Smack. Then I will be
<v Speaker 1>in Chicago for House of Glory Bliss. Ben says today
<v Speaker 1>marked eight years and so Alexa Bliss's last world title win. Well,
<v Speaker 1>if anybody in the chat would know that, it would
<v Speaker 1>be you. You never failed to disappoint me, Joseph Stewart,
<v Speaker 1>You never failed to disappoint me either, always showing love
<v Speaker 1>also big into the anniversaries. I see. I hope you
<v Speaker 1>enjoyed your time at the theater. I'm gonna be at
<v Speaker 1>the theater tomorrow. I'm gonna be going to the movies tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>Joseph with a pair of ten dollars Superchats says, I
<v Speaker 1>have an idea. What if Dominic Mysterio wins Money in
<v Speaker 1>the Bank Opah Femi wins the world title from Roman
<v Speaker 1>in SummerSlam, with dom cashing in on Oba at the
<v Speaker 1>end of the match and becomes the new world champion. Joseph,
<v Speaker 1>I think that would be terrible. I think that would
<v Speaker 1>be absolutely god awful, and I very much hope that
<v Speaker 1>doesn't happen. But I say, I know, Joseph is a
<v Speaker 1>big dirty dom guy. I get it. It's like Bliss
<v Speaker 1>fan is a big Alexa Bliss guy. I get it.
<v Speaker 1>It's a terrible idea, says Oba. Femi wins the Royal
<v Speaker 1>Rumble and challenges Dominic for the world title of WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>then and Oba beats dom to become the new world champion.
<v Speaker 1>What are your thoughts on this idea again, Joseph, I
<v Speaker 1>love you, brother, but that is just that is terrible.
<v Speaker 1>I think that would be a terrible idea. I mean
<v Speaker 1>there's again, there's being a fan of someone, and then
<v Speaker 1>there's just whatever that is supposed to be. If they
<v Speaker 1>made a movie about Undertaker and Kine's characters, which actor
<v Speaker 1>DC playing Undertaker or Kane? I don't know who would
<v Speaker 1>be big enough to make the Undertaker role work. It
<v Speaker 1>would have to be somebody who's close to seven feet tall.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you could always put lifts in someone's boots,
<v Speaker 1>but the lifts will only you know, lift you so much. Still,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta have a big guy in that role. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I don't know if any actors that would
<v Speaker 1>be able to size wise pull that off that I
<v Speaker 1>care enough to see in that role like good actors.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think WW two thousand is more watchable than
<v Speaker 1>what Triple H is doing in WWE right now? No?
<v Speaker 1>I think WWE right now is barely watchable. And I
<v Speaker 1>think WW two thousand, for the most part, was just
<v Speaker 1>the pile of dog shit, and I actively avoid it.
<v Speaker 1>Whenever I see they've uploaded content from that era on
<v Speaker 1>the WW Vault channel, I actively go out of my
<v Speaker 1>way to watch it. It was dog shit then, it's
<v Speaker 1>still dog shit. Today. Is Sting versus Hogan, It's star
<v Speaker 1>K ninety seven, the biggest match in WCW history. I
<v Speaker 1>you know, I don't see how. I don't see how
<v Speaker 1>it isn't you know, despite how it turned out, The
<v Speaker 1>answer is yes. The only other thing that comes close
<v Speaker 1>that I could think of is Hogan Goldberg get the
<v Speaker 1>Georgia Dome. That would be the closest thing. But Sting
<v Speaker 1>and Hogan was built up for a year and a half.
<v Speaker 1>So the answer is Stinging Hogan. Top five biggest feuds
<v Speaker 1>in WCW history. Sting and Flair, Sting, Invader Hogan's thing.
<v Speaker 1>To me, those are those are like the first three
<v Speaker 1>that I think of. I don't know if you want
<v Speaker 1>to go maybe Dusty and Flair. I mean, at that
<v Speaker 1>point it kind of gets a little fuzzier, it gets
<v Speaker 1>a little bit harder at that point. But for me again, Sting, Sting, Hogan, Sting,
<v Speaker 1>Flair Sting, Vader Sting being the common denominator in case
<v Speaker 1>you couldn't tell, That's why they called him the franchise
<v Speaker 1>of WCW. He was the guy. Yao Ming is the undertaker?
<v Speaker 1>Can Yao Ming act? So you're gonna cast Yao Ming
<v Speaker 1>as a a ginger from Texas? That's a bold choice.
<v Speaker 1>What are your thoughts on Mike Myers saying that Austin
<v Speaker 1>Powers for is going to happen? I hope not. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not a big Austin Powers guy. I enjoyed the first movie.
<v Speaker 1>I I'm pretty sure I saw the second one, didn't
<v Speaker 1>see the third, don't care to see it. Fourth Spanish
<v Speaker 1>Gottish is with us. This has been the most lackluster
<v Speaker 1>booking for a Forbidden Door. I don't get why they
<v Speaker 1>didn't target more CMLL talents for this since they are
<v Speaker 1>in San Jose, a Hispanic market. Disappointed for this upcoming
<v Speaker 1>pay per view. Yeah, I mentioned CMLL before and the
<v Speaker 1>lack of CMLL representation on the show. I'm starting to
<v Speaker 1>wonder if there's visa issues going on. Supposedly there's visa
<v Speaker 1>issues affecting WWE right now, and so I'm wondering if
<v Speaker 1>it's affecting AW because I agree, but where's the CMLL
<v Speaker 1>representation on this show? Right All the logos are on there.
<v Speaker 1>They've been working more with CMLL talents than New Japan
<v Speaker 1>talents for most of the year, and yet they're not
<v Speaker 1>represented on this pay per view. To me, that just
<v Speaker 1>it's a little odd to me, and it makes me
<v Speaker 1>one or if they're having visa issues, maybe that's why
<v Speaker 1>we haven't seen hatches. Sarah certainly wasn't there tonight Misfit
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling podcast. I really hope this is the last year
<v Speaker 1>they do the Forbidden Door concept as a pay per view,
<v Speaker 1>because I only have two promotion matches announced for the
<v Speaker 1>show when the show is next weekend. Said, yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it just feels very thrown together, and it's not the
<v Speaker 1>first time it's felt that way. It kind of happens
<v Speaker 1>every year, but it feels more noticeable this year, so
<v Speaker 1>I don't disagree. Bobert reviews again for that thirty dollars mento,
<v Speaker 1>super Chat, I shall give you another airhorn. No message,
<v Speaker 1>just showing some love. Love that super chat Spanish Gottish.
<v Speaker 1>I can't believe I bought tickets for this lackluster for
<v Speaker 1>so you're going to the pay per view? Oh no,
<v Speaker 1>wonder he's upset now It makes sense why he's so upset.
<v Speaker 1>He spent money on ticket. Look, you're still going to
<v Speaker 1>get a great wrestling show. But I agree you have
<v Speaker 1>every right to feel that way. You're not wrong. It
<v Speaker 1>is very lackluster. We have JD. Ham Solo. Tell me
<v Speaker 1>you haven't also been chasing the high of dynamite from
<v Speaker 1>two weeks ago. I almost felt guilty watching the Knicks
<v Speaker 1>game instead of that episode. Is that the episode that
<v Speaker 1>I thought was really good? Yeah? I mean that was
<v Speaker 1>a really good episode, and then they followed it up
<v Speaker 1>with one that was not And then we had this
<v Speaker 1>week's episode, which was somewhere in the middle. GMB. Is
<v Speaker 1>it true that the Mets season ends when the Major
<v Speaker 1>League Baseball season starts? According to Family Guy, the answer
<v Speaker 1>is yes, that is correct. As soon as you hear
<v Speaker 1>the crack of the bat and the season's over. The
<v Speaker 1>Pats Number one fan thoughts on when Brett won the
<v Speaker 1>US title in twenty ten. Yeah, he beat miss for it.
<v Speaker 1>I just remember as soon as he won, he was
<v Speaker 1>all excited and he went to go climb the ropes
<v Speaker 1>and he slipped, but Natty was there and she kind
<v Speaker 1>of caught him, So I thought that was kind of funny. Look,
<v Speaker 1>it was a nice moment for Brett to put a
<v Speaker 1>belt on him, and it was just a ceremonial thing.
<v Speaker 1>He basically, you know, gave it up after that. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't care to see Brett in the ring during that run.
<v Speaker 1>I hope it was cleansing for his soul at least,
<v Speaker 1>and he got something out of it instead of Montreal
<v Speaker 1>being the last time that he was ever in the
<v Speaker 1>ring for them. I guess that was kind of cool.
<v Speaker 1>But this was not the same Brett Hart. You know,
<v Speaker 1>in a way, I almost hated seeing him like that.
<v Speaker 1>But if he was out there having fun and it
<v Speaker 1>didn't last for too long, you know, but he was
<v Speaker 1>able to get back in the ring, and again there
<v Speaker 1>were rules against people hitting him in the head. There
<v Speaker 1>were things that he was obviously limited in what he
<v Speaker 1>could do. I just you know, I wasn't I was
<v Speaker 1>a fan of seeing him back. I just wasn't a
<v Speaker 1>fan of seeing him back in the ring outside of
<v Speaker 1>maybe a couple of matches. I mean, when he was
<v Speaker 1>in there with the against the Nexus, he was part
<v Speaker 1>of like a big ten man tag. I mean, that's fine,
<v Speaker 1>but I just wasn't really I wasn't really a fan
<v Speaker 1>of that that run. This week's episode is sponsored by Wicks.

<v Speaker 1>Bread work as old school attractions vers is the new
<v Speaker 1>generation wrestling? Would Brett give Andre the best match of
<v Speaker 1>his career? No, I mean you're you're talking about You're
<v Speaker 1>talking about Andre at the tail end of his career
<v Speaker 1>where he can barely move to like he wasn't mobile,
<v Speaker 1>he couldn't move. Nobody was giving Andre a great match
<v Speaker 1>at that point of his career. I don't care who,
<v Speaker 1>I don't care if it's dude. It could have been
<v Speaker 1>Ziggler in there bumping his ass off. It could be
<v Speaker 1>you could will Osprey in there. You can put ninety
<v Speaker 1>six Seawn Michaels in there. Okay, you could kent Ta Kobashi,
<v Speaker 1>pick your poison. There's nothing you could do at that
<v Speaker 1>point with that version of Andre, No one was gonna
<v Speaker 1>get a great match out of him. I don't care
<v Speaker 1>who you are, not even Brett uh Leo. Honest question.
<v Speaker 1>Am I delusional for thinking that Keana James is going
<v Speaker 1>to be a future world champion? I don't think you're delusional.
<v Speaker 1>I think there's a very good chance that'll happen at
<v Speaker 1>some point. Also, I've noticed Keana and Roxanne Perez are
<v Speaker 1>booked pretty similarly in terms of their wins and losses. Really,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I haven't noticed anything. I've noticed Roxanne has
<v Speaker 1>won a match on TV since December. I noticed that.
<v Speaker 1>But I think the potential for Kana to be a
<v Speaker 1>world champion on either show is that it's not something
<v Speaker 1>that's going to happen this year. But I do think
<v Speaker 1>the potential is therefore down the road. A lot of
<v Speaker 1>it depends on her development. Again, there's no house shows,
<v Speaker 1>So she's not working that much and that's a negative,
<v Speaker 1>that's a bad thing. She's at a point in her
<v Speaker 1>career right now where she needs to be in the
<v Speaker 1>ring multiple times a week. And I don't just mean
<v Speaker 1>it the PC. You know, that's very different than being
<v Speaker 1>in front of a live audience on the road. She
<v Speaker 1>and a lot of these other women, a lot of
<v Speaker 1>these other wrestlers are just not They're not getting that,
<v Speaker 1>and so it's kind of like trial by fire on TV.
<v Speaker 1>The problem is she's barely the ring on TV. How
<v Speaker 1>are you supposed to improve and get better if you're
<v Speaker 1>not getting that ring time in front of a live crap?
<v Speaker 1>And that is the drawback of scaling back so much
<v Speaker 1>on the live events. There has to be a happy
<v Speaker 1>medium there. So I think it's going to take a while.
<v Speaker 1>But I don't think you're crazy for thinking that anyway.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you guys. We came very close to four hundred likes,
<v Speaker 1>but the Wheel had other plans for us tonight. The
<v Speaker 1>Wheel said five point fifty you don't like it, tough shit,
<v Speaker 1>and that just wasn't going to happen tonight. So we
<v Speaker 1>will try again next time on Friday. I will be
<v Speaker 1>in Chicago calling House of Glory, Big Inferno event coming
<v Speaker 1>up in Logan Square Auditorium. Got some big matches on
<v Speaker 1>that show. Possibly the next TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>Nick Nemeth, He's going to be challenging for the Hog
<v Speaker 1>World Championship against Charles Mason, Ricky Sosa. We finally got him.
<v Speaker 1>He's coming in to make his debut. He's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>taking on the amazing Red Shatzi and Steph Delander. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>there's a bunch of great matches on it, most of
<v Speaker 1>Ali defending the TNA International title on a House of
<v Speaker 1>Glory show against Rich Swan. And of course Ali is
<v Speaker 1>from Chicago, so he's gonna be the hometown favorite. It's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be a fun night. Hog Wrestling dot Net for tickets.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how many are even left, but go
<v Speaker 1>check and see if there are any left. It's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be a lot of fun. If not, you can watch
<v Speaker 1>it on Triller TV. But I will not be here
<v Speaker 1>for SmackDown, so I will see you for the sound
<v Speaker 1>off episode nine six eight, which is coming up. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>Brian Garcia, welcome to the channel. Welcome brother. You can
<v Speaker 1>go back and watch the review from the beginning and
<v Speaker 1>all the other content. I hope you enjoy your stay.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, the next time I'm live here will be
<v Speaker 1>Monday night for the raw Post show. We'll try again.
<v Speaker 1>That's all we can do, would be the Booker man.
<v Speaker 1>We just we'll try again and see if we hit
<v Speaker 1>the goal. Joseph is back. Just when I thought he
<v Speaker 1>was gone, he came back. Look at this, I'm back,
<v Speaker 1>solemn monster. I have a question why didn't Sting go
<v Speaker 1>back to surfer Sting in late ninety nine like Hogan
<v Speaker 1>went back to the Red and Yellow. It's a fair
<v Speaker 1>question because at that point, see, when I think of
<v Speaker 1>Surfer Sting, I think of the flat Top, and the
<v Speaker 1>flat Top was not coming back that he was still
<v Speaker 1>kind of surfer Sting for a while when he grew
<v Speaker 1>his hair out like in ninety five the Sting gimmick.
<v Speaker 1>Why would you change from that? Right that he was
<v Speaker 1>one of the coolest characters in the entire company, whether
<v Speaker 1>it was the Black and White Crow, whether it was
<v Speaker 1>the Black and Red when he was with the wolf Pack,
<v Speaker 1>I think it would have been foolish for him to
<v Speaker 1>change and go back to it. Hogan was going to
<v Speaker 1>milk the red and yellow as long as he could.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he would get away from it then go
<v Speaker 1>back to it. So that doesn't surprise me. But no,
<v Speaker 1>belly me, nobody at that point was really clamoring for
<v Speaker 1>the return of Surfer Sting because this version of Sting
<v Speaker 1>was cool, you know, why would you change away from it? Also,
<v Speaker 1>was Sting a bigger draw than Goldberg? No? No, at
<v Speaker 1>his peak Goldberg as white hot as he was. I
<v Speaker 1>mean he had a shorter run than Sting did. I
<v Speaker 1>highly doubt Sting was a bigger draw than Goldberg at
<v Speaker 1>his peak. But Joseph, thank you, thank you for the
<v Speaker 1>final questions. Ah, yes, Ricky, thank you for bringing that up.
<v Speaker 1>So I mentioned Raw next Monday. Raw is airing earlier again,
<v Speaker 1>they're in London. They're in London before AW is in
<v Speaker 1>London in August wwe is in London, and so that's
<v Speaker 1>going to be a two pm Eastern start for RAW.
<v Speaker 1>So be aware of that because I'm pretty sure I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to do what I did last time, which is
<v Speaker 1>go live right after. So RAW goes what two pm
<v Speaker 1>to four thirty ish, probably five o'clock next Monday. We'll
<v Speaker 1>do an early stream. So if you want to join
<v Speaker 1>live be here early. I think after that we're back
<v Speaker 1>to normal. I think the schedule basically is back to
<v Speaker 1>normal after that. I could be wrong, but I think
<v Speaker 1>I think the international tour is basically over after that.
<v Speaker 1>But thank you for reminding me anyway. Be well, stay safe,
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for hanging out with me here on a
<v Speaker 1>Wednesday night, and keep supporting all the content. Go check
<v Speaker 1>out all the rest of the content from this week.
<v Speaker 1>Go check out the Uncrowned Wrestling Show that dropped yesterday
<v Speaker 1>on the Ariel Helwani Show feed and the Uncrowned Wrestling
<v Speaker 1>Show feed. I got some really cool feedback from some
<v Speaker 1>people who had never heard of the sound. Though they
<v Speaker 1>never heard of me before, this was their first exposure
<v Speaker 1>to me, and now they say they're hooked. It's their
<v Speaker 1>favorite podcast. They're going to tune in every way. I
<v Speaker 1>love hearing that. Love it, so if you missed it,
<v Speaker 1>go check out the Young Crown Wrestling Show. Congrats to England.
<v Speaker 1>I'm your big World Cup win earlier today against Croatia.
<v Speaker 1>That's all. I don't know where things are right now
<v Speaker 1>with the Uzbekistan Colombia game. Let me see here. Ooh,
<v Speaker 1>Colombia is doing well. I have been to Colombia. I've
<v Speaker 1>never been to Uzbekistan. I don't think I ever will,
<v Speaker 1>but I have been to Colombia. I left a piece
<v Speaker 1>of myself in Colombia, if you remember that story anyway.
<v Speaker 1>Enjoy the World Cup and I'll see you Becker on
<v Speaker 1>the channel very soon and this weekend for a brand
<v Speaker 1>new sounduff. Until then, take care, guys O.
