<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katy, and Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Now Katie is our resident couch potato on the show,
<v Speaker 2>and she's got another Netflix recommendation, but she got our
<v Speaker 2>little potato.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I do my part, guys, just saying I am
<v Speaker 1>so sucked into this show sixty days in have you
<v Speaker 1>heard of it?
<v Speaker 3>Okay?
<v Speaker 1>So it is essentially regular people who are going undercover
<v Speaker 1>in prison, all right, So they.
<v Speaker 3>Are attend I know, I know that.
<v Speaker 1>So what it is is they're actually attempting to eliminate
<v Speaker 1>like rival gangs, drugs, and corruption within their facilities.
<v Speaker 3>So it is like the cops.
<v Speaker 1>And the sheriffs and the people who are within the
<v Speaker 1>prison system who set all this up and they have
<v Speaker 1>regular normal people spend sixty days in the prison trying
<v Speaker 1>to figure out what's wrong with it so that they
<v Speaker 1>can then correct it. But the part about this that
<v Speaker 1>just like blows my mind are the people who've.
<v Speaker 3>In teer to go in there for sixty days.
<v Speaker 4>Are they like little Mousie, like nerdy guys.
<v Speaker 1>Or you know, immediately I thought it was like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>rich people who have too much money, too much time
<v Speaker 1>on their hands, and they've just run out of thrills, right,
<v Speaker 1>They're like, I'll go into prison for sixty days, it's fine.
<v Speaker 3>But no, it is normal, regular day people. I just
<v Speaker 3>started uching it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm two episodes in and they're focused on this woman
<v Speaker 1>who was a mom of.
<v Speaker 3>Six, and her whole thing is, I'm a mom of six.
<v Speaker 3>I can handle prison. Just wait a minute. I don't
<v Speaker 3>think you know.
<v Speaker 1>What you're getting yourself into. Is this you just trying
<v Speaker 1>to day exactly? I think she's just trying to get
<v Speaker 1>a vacation from her family. I don't think she knows
<v Speaker 1>what she's getting herself into.
<v Speaker 2>But they actually put them, like in the cell, and yeah,
<v Speaker 2>we did.
<v Speaker 3>They're for ten prisoners.
<v Speaker 1>They have a backstory when they go in, Like this
<v Speaker 1>woman who's a mom of six. Her backstory is she
<v Speaker 1>ran over her ex husband and that's why she's president.
<v Speaker 3>So they have a backstory.
<v Speaker 4>They go in, why did she run over it?
<v Speaker 3>No, she did it.
<v Speaker 1>That's just that's her backstory. It's her fake backstory to
<v Speaker 1>go in and be a part of. That's what she
<v Speaker 1>tells all the other inmates.
<v Speaker 3>But they do a strip search, like they're cavity searching hers.
<v Speaker 3>She goes into this thing, so it is no. They
<v Speaker 3>have to do every where.
<v Speaker 1>Do I sign up Netflix? You can go watch it
<v Speaker 1>on Netflix. But they're doing it in no, no where
<v Speaker 1>do I sign up Arizona? So it's in Arizona. So
<v Speaker 1>if you want to be a part of it, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you just go ahead.
<v Speaker 4>And you look at my Penal County.
<v Speaker 3>Pinal County, Arizona, Pinal County.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if I'm saying that right, but it's
<v Speaker 1>a e but it's filmed around the clock, so they're
<v Speaker 1>constantly filming these people.
<v Speaker 5>They don't give shame.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, no, but it is in.
<v Speaker 4>Touch go Touch Cress.
<v Speaker 5>I should sign up for this.
<v Speaker 4>Please? Would you be gone if you did.
<v Speaker 3>This thirty to sixty days?
<v Speaker 2>Is the I'm I don't think you could do.
<v Speaker 3>I don't think you could come out all jacked whatever.
<v Speaker 5>I think a lot of people go to prison and
<v Speaker 5>get fatter.
<v Speaker 3>I know I would not.
<v Speaker 4>You wouldn't that would be possible.
<v Speaker 3>You have to watch it.
<v Speaker 4>Okay.
<v Speaker 2>So the CPW Colorado Parks and Wildlife reporting an increase
<v Speaker 2>in in vehicle the car versus bear.
<v Speaker 4>Incidents across the state right now.
<v Speaker 2>Wildlife officials are saying drought conditions in some areas, population
<v Speaker 2>growth and expanding suburban development, pushing bears closer and closer
<v Speaker 2>to roads and neighborhoods, and now people be hitting bears
<v Speaker 2>like crazy.
<v Speaker 3>Oh no, not hitting them. I thought they were just
<v Speaker 3>like seeing them.
<v Speaker 4>They're getting hit, Like they say.
<v Speaker 2>You usually think about people just tagging deers and elks
<v Speaker 2>and things like that. But I guess the bears are
<v Speaker 2>coming down closer and closer to town and people keep
<v Speaker 2>running into them, and they say the bears are big
<v Speaker 2>and they'll do some serious damage to your car.
<v Speaker 5>I feel like the bear would be okay, we No,
<v Speaker 5>I'm so.
<v Speaker 1>Sad for the bear. O bear Nana's like, I'm very
<v Speaker 1>sad for them. I didn't know they were getting hit.
<v Speaker 2>I thought, wasn't there one recently you were talking about, Well,
<v Speaker 2>there was.
<v Speaker 1>One in Castle Rock that was just like they had
<v Speaker 1>a video of it climbing into the Castle Rock Police station,
<v Speaker 1>their parking lot where all their vehicles are stored. They
<v Speaker 1>climbed the fence, got in and just ran across the
<v Speaker 1>parking lot and that was it.
<v Speaker 4>And then they had that he was looking for cocaine.
<v Speaker 1>It's a cocaine Bear Bear Necessities song in the background playing, Well,
<v Speaker 1>they had the video up. So, but yeah, they are everywhere,
<v Speaker 1>and there are more and more this year because of
<v Speaker 1>the warm winter we had, they woke up early and
<v Speaker 1>they're a lot more just visible this year.
<v Speaker 3>So but I didn't realize that they were getting here.
<v Speaker 4>They're getting hurt. Do you do what's where you're going?
<v Speaker 3>Do we need bear crossings like we have the Do
<v Speaker 3>we need to put up some signs?
<v Speaker 4>It was plushing, it was crossing.
<v Speaker 2>I guess there's a bunch of posts of people just
<v Speaker 2>shooting videos and pictures of bears running through their neighborhood.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of that's getting posted on the social and
<v Speaker 2>somebody actually woke up to a bear in their hot
<v Speaker 2>tub out on their bare. Little reaction in my muscles
<v Speaker 2>because I was hit by a car exactly. We were
<v Speaker 2>zipping around our neighborhood on our bikes the other day
<v Speaker 2>and we went kind of down into a little ravine
<v Speaker 2>area by like a golf course and it puts you
<v Speaker 2>out by four seventy. So we were riding along four
<v Speaker 2>seventy kind of and as we went down into that
<v Speaker 2>little ravine area, we had to all throw on our
<v Speaker 2>brakes because there was like six deer right there. Yeah, like,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, like right there, and we stopped and they
<v Speaker 2>started getting all weird on.
<v Speaker 3>Them because you never know what they're going to do.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, they look all friendly right out, but you
<v Speaker 2>don't want to they're just sitting there eating their leaves. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>but one of them started like putting his head down
<v Speaker 2>and like going.
<v Speaker 4>That, well, it's like that whole bring it deer?
<v Speaker 3>If not friend? Why friend? Shaped exactly? I know, I
<v Speaker 3>just want to pet you? Why are you so?
<v Speaker 2>And the whole time, you know, I was thinking, like,
<v Speaker 2>what are those scenarios that we talk about all the
<v Speaker 2>time on the air.
<v Speaker 4>If I had to fight this deer?
<v Speaker 3>If you if you could fight six of them?
<v Speaker 2>Though, could I fight this deer? I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>they'd all come at me. I think we at least two,
<v Speaker 2>so you could take deer. I'd put the bike in
<v Speaker 2>front of me, right yeah, and then I don't.
<v Speaker 5>Know they kick though, because on their hind legs they would.
<v Speaker 4>The moment I was like I could fight that deer
<v Speaker 4>right now.
<v Speaker 3>You think you could stand a chance, But wouldn't they
<v Speaker 3>take you out?
<v Speaker 4>Local radio host trampled by deer? How the sight of
<v Speaker 4>four seventy and you know.
<v Speaker 1>All the other radio people would be like, oh deer, okay.
<v Speaker 4>It's going so good. It was, I was having fun.
<v Speaker 2>Duncan is rolling out some new summer items, including its
<v Speaker 2>limited edition Barbie Pink Strawberry cold Foam.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, cold Foam's like a big thing.
<v Speaker 4>Cold foam is having a moment right now, isn't it.
<v Speaker 3>Cold foam is everywhere?
<v Speaker 4>Is it?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah?
<v Speaker 4>I got some around Thanksgiving.
<v Speaker 2>We had like a pumpkin cold foam or something and
<v Speaker 2>you can get it in the can and you.
<v Speaker 4>And then you read the ingredients on the side and you're.
<v Speaker 3>Like, my body, I know, yeah, didn't need that.
<v Speaker 4>H This one says the sweet creamy topping.
<v Speaker 2>You're a creamy topping can be added to many iced drinks.
<v Speaker 2>It appears in the new offerings such as the Ultimate
<v Speaker 2>Pink day Dream, Double Strawberry Daydream, Pink Mango Daydream, and
<v Speaker 2>Pink Cherry Daydream Refreshers ox with oat milk.
<v Speaker 3>It says, so different flavors but all pink.
<v Speaker 4>Can you imagine.
<v Speaker 2>Mostly specifically you and me Josh a grown man rolling
<v Speaker 2>up to Duncan and being like, hey, give me a
<v Speaker 2>large pink Cherry day Dream refresher and put some of
<v Speaker 2>that barbie cold foam on.
<v Speaker 5>It immediately, taken immediately.
<v Speaker 3>It's so fine. You can get your pink on.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, sure, tough guys were pink. Tough guys drink pink.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, buddy, alright, you know do you two pink? You
<v Speaker 4>go first, Chuck you go order and let us know
<v Speaker 4>how it is.
<v Speaker 5>It's so good, y'all.
<v Speaker 2>Take that pink cherry daydream please in my diesel truck.
<v Speaker 3>The nitro everything all right, guys.
<v Speaker 4>We'll be backing about two minutes and fifty seconds.
<v Speaker 2>We'll get our fast five on and have some fun
<v Speaker 2>here with JKJ mixed one hundred. So I got this
<v Speaker 2>story here in front of me. We all like snacks
<v Speaker 2>and stuff? How about uh about snacking on bugs. Researchers
<v Speaker 2>are finding people who try insect based foods for the
<v Speaker 2>first time often enjoy them more than anticipated. This is
<v Speaker 2>amongst a group uh well. They only had a sample
<v Speaker 2>size of about thirty eight adults who had never eaten
<v Speaker 2>insects before, but they sampled both insect protein bars and
<v Speaker 2>insect cereal bars while scientists monitored their brain activity and
<v Speaker 2>heart rates, and the results showed that.
<v Speaker 4>They loved them.
<v Speaker 2>They became more attentive and engaged while eating insect based products,
<v Speaker 2>they had increased heart rates and heightened arousal.
<v Speaker 3>Oh what whoa cricketing?
<v Speaker 4>This is a cereal bar?
<v Speaker 2>Oh baby, I had no idea that you'd have heightened
<v Speaker 2>arousal if you're eating insects.
<v Speaker 1>I think I'd enjoy it more if they did make
<v Speaker 1>it a bar or a powder or something though, Like
<v Speaker 1>I imagine just eating a straight cricket or.
<v Speaker 2>Beat the chocolate covered cricket, grind them up, put them
<v Speaker 2>in your Yeah, protein shapes like.
<v Speaker 3>Cereal and stuff like that.
<v Speaker 1>I could probably get on board with a lot more
<v Speaker 1>than just eating a straight insect.
<v Speaker 2>And researchers are calling the findings very surprising. And you
<v Speaker 2>can mash all sorts of stuff up be in there,
<v Speaker 2>like yellow meal worms, locusts, crickets that's been a thing forever,
<v Speaker 2>like chocolate dipped crickets and stuff like that. But you're
<v Speaker 2>gonna become more attentive, and your heart rate's gonna spike,
<v Speaker 2>and you're gonna become incredibly aroused if you eat these
<v Speaker 2>insects cereal bars. I think you come home and your
<v Speaker 2>wife's like watching insect videos.
<v Speaker 5>What are you doing?
<v Speaker 4>I'm just watching videos. What are you watching?
<v Speaker 5>I'm glad I got caught watching insects now.
<v Speaker 3>I think it'd be bad.
<v Speaker 1>Like, as long as you name it something fun, I
<v Speaker 1>think people would.
<v Speaker 3>Be on board with it.
<v Speaker 1>Which part like a protein bar made of crickets, Like
<v Speaker 1>we could call it like a crick cat crick cat,
<v Speaker 1>you know, come up with a fun name and people
<v Speaker 1>will be okay eating it.
<v Speaker 3>I think that's part of it, you know. Do you
<v Speaker 3>think do you think?
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Well, here's where we say wayne to you telling us
<v Speaker 2>about your snack you've been eating.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I have been eating a high protein snack and
<v Speaker 1>my kid is like grossed out by it. It's not
<v Speaker 1>even gross, it's just a little unorthodox. And it is
<v Speaker 1>my protein bread, which is fabulous.
<v Speaker 3>By the way.
<v Speaker 1>I love it, my peanut butter, and then blueberries, not jelly,
<v Speaker 1>actual fruit on the peanut butter, and then I smash
<v Speaker 1>it and I make a sandwich and it is like
<v Speaker 1>my favorite thing.
<v Speaker 3>I get protein, I get fiber. But for whatever reason,
<v Speaker 3>my kid is grossed out by it. She's like, why
<v Speaker 3>are you putting fruit in it when you could.
<v Speaker 4>Just it's no different than jam or jelly.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, fruit bas and then you got the peanut butter,
<v Speaker 2>and it's like, it's a peanut butterry jelly sandwich.
<v Speaker 1>It's got a little bit more texture in it too, right,
<v Speaker 1>because I throw a whole handful of blueberries.
<v Speaker 5>And people do the peanut butter and banana sandwiches for decades.
<v Speaker 3>And shut up.
<v Speaker 1>But I asked a few other people asked my brother.
<v Speaker 1>I was talking to my brother last night, and I just, hey,
<v Speaker 1>what do you think about a peanut butter sandwich? But
<v Speaker 1>instead of jelly, you put blueberries? And then it's like,
<v Speaker 1>why wouldn't you.
<v Speaker 3>Just put jelly. That's everybody's answer to me.
<v Speaker 1>I just wanted to ask you, guys, if you were
<v Speaker 1>okay with my peanut butter and blueberry sing.
<v Speaker 4>I'm so fine with it.
<v Speaker 3>And I can add crickets and we're even better.
<v Speaker 4>Right, What do you need to tell? Baby?
<v Speaker 3>No, no, shut up. I love you.
