<v Speaker 1>Jary Katy and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking at the old weather forecast and it might
<v Speaker 2>get a little naxty this afternoon.
<v Speaker 1>I don't like that.
<v Speaker 2>Nasty Jennie just got a new car, and they're calling
<v Speaker 2>for baseball size hail.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, two to three inches of hail.
<v Speaker 3>I was over here trying to do it on my hands, Like,
<v Speaker 3>wait a minute, did they did they mean centimeters?
<v Speaker 1>Because two to three inches is crazy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they're saying baseball size in some areas. It's a
<v Speaker 2>level three storm, which they say usually doesn't happen within
<v Speaker 2>the Denver metro.
<v Speaker 4>Oh they need to lead with a three.
<v Speaker 1>What the heck? So where is this gonna happen?
<v Speaker 4>You better need to be more active.
<v Speaker 1>Because if it's way over on the eastern planes.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know why I wor there is some stuff
<v Speaker 2>on the eastern planes. But if you look at the
<v Speaker 2>map they put the big blob on there of like
<v Speaker 2>where supposedly things are gonna hit, Denver's within the blob.
<v Speaker 4>That's all I know. We're we're in the blog and
<v Speaker 4>it's gonna.
<v Speaker 2>Be later this afternoon. So you better go hide your
<v Speaker 2>car somewhere because you don't have a garage.
<v Speaker 4>Where are you going to go?
<v Speaker 5>Just go into an open one.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know where it's gonna hit.
<v Speaker 4>Like, honestly, look at the blob.
<v Speaker 1>The blob is like the entire state of Colorado.
<v Speaker 2>There's going to be some tornadoes were within the blob
<v Speaker 2>like tornadoes and rain are accurate seventy five mile an
<v Speaker 2>hour winter.
<v Speaker 3>Guessing where this baseball sized hail is going to be,
<v Speaker 3>they should.
<v Speaker 1>Be able to tell us.
<v Speaker 4>It'll be right over your new cards.
<v Speaker 3>Sky will open up and baseballs will fall from it.
<v Speaker 2>At this tree, the area at the Happy Camper apartment complex.
<v Speaker 1>Chrispy Yankee, what you doing to me? Homie?
<v Speaker 2>Put some blankets on it. It's coming coming right for you.
<v Speaker 2>There was two things that we were talking about off
<v Speaker 2>the air. One is cookie sheets, yeah, and then Bestie's first, Well,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know you had to replace cookie sheets?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, oh yeah, based off a TikTok.
<v Speaker 3>There is a TikTok floating around right now. A girl
<v Speaker 3>from Denver who was making chicken nuggets on a cookie sheet.
<v Speaker 3>And it's kind of funny because she is showing the
<v Speaker 3>camera her actual cookie sheet, which looks to be.
<v Speaker 1>Older than her parents.
<v Speaker 3>But there's like a black goo that is coming out
<v Speaker 3>of the side of it, and she's asking TikTok.
<v Speaker 1>She's like, what is happening. I've never seen this before.
<v Speaker 3>And they're like, oh my gosh, your cookie sheets from
<v Speaker 3>like the Great Depression, Like why you still have that
<v Speaker 3>thing because it's like a double uh what is it?
<v Speaker 3>Like a lind like a yeah, yeah, yeah, like a
<v Speaker 3>double line cookie sheet. So after a while that just
<v Speaker 3>starts to corrode in exactly whatever's in the middle of
<v Speaker 3>those two sheets and started to come out from underneath it.
<v Speaker 3>But the comments is what was getting me because she's like, I.
<v Speaker 1>Don't understand what this. You know what happened.
<v Speaker 3>I know it's double insulated, but like this literally never
<v Speaker 3>happened to meet. My mom gave me this pen. She
<v Speaker 3>had it in her childhood. I've had it my entire life.
<v Speaker 3>It's like, well, but the comments again are what get me,
<v Speaker 3>because one of them said, bestie pans are not that expensive.
<v Speaker 3>People hang onto these things like their wartime savings bonds.
<v Speaker 1>Treat yourself to a.
<v Speaker 3>New pan, girl, But all of the comments are like
<v Speaker 3>time for a new pan, bestie, bestie, bestie, bestie, And
<v Speaker 3>I'm just like that.
<v Speaker 1>Term to me.
<v Speaker 3>And I think it's because my kid says it so much.
<v Speaker 3>I mean every everywhere. We'll be driving and she'll be
<v Speaker 3>like trying to merge into a lane and she's like,
<v Speaker 3>excuse me, Bestie.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, you, you don't even know that person.
<v Speaker 4>I'd reach over and open up her door and shove
<v Speaker 4>her out.
<v Speaker 1>We don't want to do.
<v Speaker 3>That's annoying, definitely being overused. It's one of those terms
<v Speaker 3>out there. Gen Z's just kind of grabbed onto and
<v Speaker 3>everybody's their friend there.
<v Speaker 1>Oh how much can I say?
<v Speaker 2>There is somebody within our bubble that uses bestie a lot.
<v Speaker 2>She calls her daughter that and everything the daughter, the
<v Speaker 2>mom calls the daughter.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So she'd like, we're like stopping right so hard.
<v Speaker 4>We're trying way too hard.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And it comes across as such when you, like.
<v Speaker 3>Especially older people who say it, it's like, yeah, what
<v Speaker 3>are you doing?
<v Speaker 4>They're old as you, and they're so.
<v Speaker 5>All right.
<v Speaker 4>It is for some sports.
<v Speaker 2>I got a couple food related stories that revolve around sports.
<v Speaker 4>We're all familiar with the freshman fifteen, right, you go
<v Speaker 4>to college and you pack on.
<v Speaker 2>The fifteen pounds. They are calling it the FIFA fifteen
<v Speaker 2>right now, because we is well documented that thousands of
<v Speaker 2>international soccer fans have been coming to America for the
<v Speaker 2>World Cup and they've been discovering all this delicious, fattening
<v Speaker 2>American food, right it's funny.
<v Speaker 4>So they're packing on the FIFA fifteen.
<v Speaker 2>They're eating fast food and Duncan and raising canes and
<v Speaker 2>Chipotle barbecue, clamshowder Pizza, Deli sandwiches.
<v Speaker 4>We talked about Texas Roadhouse yesterday.
<v Speaker 2>They're discovering all this stuff and they are thick right now,
<v Speaker 2>and they are joking. They're trying to figure out how
<v Speaker 2>to bring a lot of these snacks and some of
<v Speaker 2>the food and even some of our booze back to
<v Speaker 2>their home countries because it is so damned tasty.
<v Speaker 6>I love it.
<v Speaker 4>But anyway, it's the FIFA of fifteen.
<v Speaker 5>Now.
<v Speaker 2>With that being said, Kraft has announced a limited edition
<v Speaker 2>TSA compliant Ranch.
<v Speaker 1>I saw that.
<v Speaker 4>Do you like this?
<v Speaker 5>Yes?
<v Speaker 1>Party in my mouth? I saw this.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, the little packets that you can bring on the plane,
<v Speaker 3>and yeah that you can get them past TSA.
<v Speaker 2>It's a unique kit that features a clear TSA approved
<v Speaker 2>court bag with multiple craft Ranch packets equivalent to a
<v Speaker 2>full bottle and a ranch themed luggage tag. And there's
<v Speaker 2>all sorts of viral videos right now showing international fans
<v Speaker 2>discovering ranch dressing for the first time. Yeah, and now
<v Speaker 2>they can pick up these tsa complainant ranch kits and
<v Speaker 2>take them back to the motherland. That's manny, isn't that
<v Speaker 2>fantastic hidden Ley Ranch.
<v Speaker 1>Party in my Mouth? Yeah? Take it from us. So
<v Speaker 1>you need a breather day. You gotta pace yourself.
<v Speaker 5>In this you do.
<v Speaker 1>You can't just jump in and go all, you know,
<v Speaker 1>balls to the wall.
<v Speaker 3>You have to really just brace yourself and pace yourself
<v Speaker 3>throughout your entire visit.
<v Speaker 4>You need a day like when God created earth, in
<v Speaker 4>the heavens and all that. You need a day of rest.
<v Speaker 1>You need a salad day is what we call it.
<v Speaker 4>The day of rest your greens to get your.
<v Speaker 3>Fiber and then you go back to Texas Roadhouse after that.
<v Speaker 1>You need that salad day.
<v Speaker 4>Did you then back into.
<v Speaker 1>The ranch hitting Raley Ranch Party in my mouth?
<v Speaker 2>Yes?
<v Speaker 4>What else you got?
<v Speaker 5>Josh? All right, So I'm gonna take a story from
<v Speaker 5>a personal page, And yesterday was the last day that
<v Speaker 5>the GF Princess Pilot is what you guys call her.
<v Speaker 5>Was here in town for a little bit. She's gonna
<v Speaker 5>go on a little bit of an extended trip for
<v Speaker 5>her job, and so we were hanging out and she
<v Speaker 5>was like, hey, you know what, I just got an
<v Speaker 5>update on email that says Rockies tickets are going for
<v Speaker 5>like twenty bucks right now. And I was like, oh, heck, yeah,
<v Speaker 5>let's grab a let's you know, dude, seriously but no.
<v Speaker 5>So we were like, heck, yeah, let's go to the game.
<v Speaker 5>They're playing the Red Sox. It's always a good match
<v Speaker 5>when they come to town. And so we're walking around
<v Speaker 5>the stadium and this is the thing. She put me
<v Speaker 5>in charge of picking where we want the tickets, okay,
<v Speaker 5>and I found a really good deal, like thirteen rows up,
<v Speaker 5>so I'm like, that's awesome. It's in the outfield. Hey,
<v Speaker 5>we got a chance for a home run ball. That's
<v Speaker 5>even better.
<v Speaker 1>I love that.
<v Speaker 5>So we pick a spot. We finally get there, we
<v Speaker 5>make a loop around the stadium, you know, like as
<v Speaker 5>one does, and we get to our seats, and immediately
<v Speaker 5>she starts complaining about the choice of seats, because apparently
<v Speaker 5>all she cares about is looking at the scoreboard and
<v Speaker 5>being able to see the games that people play. You know,
<v Speaker 5>like that game where they put a ball underneath the
<v Speaker 5>helmet and they mix it up and you have to
<v Speaker 5>choose which one is. Immediately, she starts complaining. She's like,
<v Speaker 5>we're never getting these seats again. Why did you choose it.
<v Speaker 5>I'm like, okay, of course I'm in the wrong. I'm
<v Speaker 5>messed a blah blah blah. And so I'm trying to
<v Speaker 5>watch the game. And as the players are warming up,
<v Speaker 5>we get a tap on the shoulder and they're like.
<v Speaker 1>We turn around.
<v Speaker 5>These two people approach us. They're like, hey, you guys
<v Speaker 5>look like Rockies fans. Come with us for a second.
<v Speaker 5>So they take us to this back secluded room. She
<v Speaker 5>gets chosen to play the hat game. Everybody she gets chosen,
<v Speaker 5>which is so funny. We are so different in that
<v Speaker 5>where like, I have a very public job, I'm used
<v Speaker 5>to being in front of people. Talk freezes up. She
<v Speaker 5>is this is her worst nightmare. She's like, don't say yes,
<v Speaker 5>don't say yes. I'm like, no, you're doing this.
<v Speaker 4>Guys.
<v Speaker 5>You just complained to me about wanting to watch this.
<v Speaker 5>You get to play it now?
<v Speaker 3>She do?
<v Speaker 4>She won, She got it.
<v Speaker 1>She got an awesome Rockies hat.
<v Speaker 5>A little bit behind the scenes here, they don't give
<v Speaker 5>you the one that's on the table.
<v Speaker 1>They go to the store. You can pick out whichever
<v Speaker 1>hat you want.
<v Speaker 4>It's fun. So she got for her.
<v Speaker 5>It was a very happy ending. She got text from
<v Speaker 5>all her other friends that were there, like we thought
<v Speaker 5>you on the big screen. She's like, I didn't because
<v Speaker 5>we couldn't see the big screen, so I never had
<v Speaker 5>to use the take again. But it turned out really well.
<v Speaker 5>Good for the game, and got a free hat and
<v Speaker 5>the Rockies one on a walk Off the Way or
<v Speaker 5>beat the Reds.
<v Speaker 4>Multiple happy ending for her.
<v Speaker 7>There you go from the peaks and pipe to the
<v Speaker 7>pulse of Pearl Street.
<v Speaker 1>What's good world?
<v Speaker 4>This is where the buzz meets the altitude.
<v Speaker 1>Check it out.
<v Speaker 7>JKJS mile High Hype on mixed one hundred starts now.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's all the big stories of the day nationally
<v Speaker 2>and of course locally.
<v Speaker 4>Big celebrity death yesterday.
<v Speaker 2>Music mogul Clive Davis passed away yesterday. He was ninety
<v Speaker 2>four years old. No cause of death right now, but
<v Speaker 2>he was recently facing some respiratory issues and if you
<v Speaker 2>know anything about Clive Davis, man, the amount of talent
<v Speaker 2>he discovered and nurtured over the years is absolutely incredible.
<v Speaker 2>Janis Joflin, Spring Sting, Whitney, Houston, Santana, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys,
<v Speaker 2>Kelly Clarkson, Hilly, Joel Simon, Garfunkle, Pink Floyd or the
<v Speaker 2>Winning Fire Aerosmith, Kenny g Christina Aguilera, so many and
<v Speaker 2>he was very well known for his iconic Was it
<v Speaker 2>the Grammy parties that he would throw? I think so, yeah, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it was the lavish Grammy parties. Yeah, there's an awesome
<v Speaker 2>Netflix documentary on him, if you want to ever check
<v Speaker 2>it out. You're staring at me like you just the
<v Speaker 2>hamster and the hamster stopped on that wheel in.
<v Speaker 3>There before my time or like my interest levels.
<v Speaker 1>Never bought an album from any of those people.
<v Speaker 2>So that's why I'm just ever Joel Whitney, Houston, Kelly Clarkson,
<v Speaker 2>Alicia Keys.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera maybe yeah, well, I mean,
<v Speaker 3>may he rest, May he rest.
<v Speaker 2>I think The bottom line of the story, though, is
<v Speaker 2>just what a powerhouse he was in the music industry,
<v Speaker 2>discovering all these iconic names that Katie's never heard of.
<v Speaker 1>I've heard of them.
<v Speaker 5>I think there's.
<v Speaker 2>Mainly the biggest takeaway from this story. Maybe Katie has
<v Speaker 2>no idea Simon and garfone Corps. Madonna's not about saying
<v Speaker 2>that she's not gonna get naked anymore. Are you familiar
<v Speaker 2>with Madonna?
<v Speaker 4>I mean I.
<v Speaker 1>Guess yeah, But again, why are we going so far?
<v Speaker 1>And the way back machine did?
<v Speaker 4>She's teaming up with the Sabrina Carpenter right now, hidding't me?
<v Speaker 1>I thought that was a weird move on Sabrina's part.
<v Speaker 4>Madonna's relevant right now, girl.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, anyway, she doesn't want to get naked anymore because
<v Speaker 2>she says everyone is getting naked now, and I don't
<v Speaker 2>want to do what everybody's doing, so I'm gonna stay clothed.
<v Speaker 4>Well, she's also pushing seventy so exactly. That could be
<v Speaker 4>a big part of it. Yeah, you're okay with clothes.
<v Speaker 5>Them.
<v Speaker 3>I wear them every day, So yeah, I'm a fan
<v Speaker 3>your fan.
<v Speaker 2>There's a new combination of words out there, and this
<v Speaker 2>is coming out again because some people were at Yellowstone
<v Speaker 2>and they hopped out of their car and they started
<v Speaker 2>taking pictures next to the bison that.
<v Speaker 4>Were laying there. It was a mom and her small
<v Speaker 4>child like went right up on this bison and taking
<v Speaker 4>selfies and pictures.
<v Speaker 2>And then people are calling them tourists and morons. So
<v Speaker 2>they're turons now, people that are just out and about
<v Speaker 2>doing stupid things on vacation, they're turons.
<v Speaker 4>And there's a lot of that at.
<v Speaker 1>Yellow so much.
<v Speaker 4>And you just have to familiar with Yellowstone.
<v Speaker 2>I know it's been around since the Jurassic Age.
<v Speaker 4>It's been around a long time.
<v Speaker 5>Clive Davis actually discovered it.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, also mother nature, and you got to respect mother nature.
<v Speaker 1>You don't play. Yeah, you know, like those bison don't play.
<v Speaker 4>Do you know where Yellowstone is?
<v Speaker 1>Wyoming?
<v Speaker 3>Right?
<v Speaker 1>That right?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it came Florida.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, we move over to Golden That's where this next
<v Speaker 3>story comes from, where an aggressive bear was taunting a hiker.
<v Speaker 1>Now we talked about this yesterday.
<v Speaker 3>We kind of broke the news that they closed Apex Park.
<v Speaker 3>We don't really know why they did it, just that
<v Speaker 3>a bear was reported in the area. But now we
<v Speaker 3>know there was a bear there that was like taunting
<v Speaker 3>this woman.
<v Speaker 2>She talked to her a ladys well, she really did like, no,
<v Speaker 2>I bet, I bet if we fight I could take
<v Speaker 2>care you want to try.
<v Speaker 3>It was like following her and like circling her and
<v Speaker 3>going up on high ground as to want to like
<v Speaker 3>jump on her. Anyone who's been followed by a bear
<v Speaker 3>knows that it is very terrifying to see a bear
<v Speaker 3>like that.
<v Speaker 1>Well, no, because Colorado.
<v Speaker 3>No, when you see a bear, you make yourself look
<v Speaker 3>big and you scream at it, and it'll usually turn away.
<v Speaker 1>This one did not.
<v Speaker 3>It taunted the woman and follow her and continued to
<v Speaker 3>circle her for over thirty minutes.
<v Speaker 1>Now she talked about it a little bit.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, audio she did.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, yeah, she talked about it, and again this
<v Speaker 3>is she has hiked this trail so many times. It's
<v Speaker 3>the enchanted Forest trail she talked about. Yeah, up there
<v Speaker 3>in Apex Park.
<v Speaker 2>It sounds magical, like the bear would literally talk to
<v Speaker 2>you and do you like a dance route.
<v Speaker 7>This one was not running away. It kept charging at me.
<v Speaker 7>It was circling around me.
<v Speaker 1>Back off.
<v Speaker 7>Hey, no, sir, I was trying to just like get
<v Speaker 7>back up onto the main trail so that way somebody
<v Speaker 7>could hopefully help me.
<v Speaker 4>She was ex Yeah, why she's talking?
<v Speaker 1>She no, that was her. She was crying. At one
<v Speaker 1>point she was gonna die, like it was terrifying. Back off, Hey, no, sir,
<v Speaker 1>So that part was actually the video of her she
<v Speaker 1>was recording the bears.
<v Speaker 3>It was because she was trying to get self. She
<v Speaker 3>was trying to call nine one one. She couldn't get
<v Speaker 3>anybody on the line, so she was recording the barrock
<v Speaker 3>and I love it.
<v Speaker 1>That they did.
<v Speaker 5>I don't.
<v Speaker 1>Here's something too they did.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, they were and make yourself big.
<v Speaker 3>Like she found man who was also hiking along the
<v Speaker 3>same area, and so they kind of teamed up and
<v Speaker 3>they started screaming at the bear together. And then as
<v Speaker 3>they made their way because she was trying to find
<v Speaker 3>her way to the main trail, and so she.
<v Speaker 1>Found even more people.
<v Speaker 3>There was a group of like four or five of
<v Speaker 3>them screaming at the bear. It finally turned into another
<v Speaker 3>direction and then they hurt somebody yell in the direction
<v Speaker 3>that the bear went.
<v Speaker 6>So this bear was just walking around people back off, Hey, no, sir. Well,
<v Speaker 6>but honestly, like they say that this bear was, you know,
<v Speaker 6>exhibiting having these tendencies of like they no stop you are.
<v Speaker 6>So they said that this bear is so familiar with
<v Speaker 6>humans and that says that's not.
<v Speaker 1>Normal for bears. Back off, Hey, no, exactly.
<v Speaker 3>So anyway, we're gonna move on to the next one problem.
<v Speaker 3>Diplow's coming to Denver. He's bringing a five k race
<v Speaker 3>along with them, followed by a midday race. So this
<v Speaker 3>is coming to Cheeseman Park. It's called Diplow's Run Club
<v Speaker 3>for the third time here in Denver. So it's gonna
<v Speaker 3>be hosted all over the country, but the first stop
<v Speaker 3>on the tour is right here in the mind.
<v Speaker 4>I don't want a midday rave.
<v Speaker 1>You don't know.
<v Speaker 4>That's that would ruin the rest of my night.
<v Speaker 1>You sleep for the rest of the day.
<v Speaker 4>What goes on in a midday rave? Do they have
<v Speaker 4>like brunch?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they have ecstasy and brunch, the mimosas, and then you.
<v Speaker 4>Do the ecstasy and then back off.
<v Speaker 3>Hey no, no start, no sir, but no. So they
<v Speaker 3>are going to have the run and the rave. You
<v Speaker 3>can do one or the other. You don't have to
<v Speaker 3>do both.
<v Speaker 2>And then the run.
<v Speaker 1>Don't you do the run? I don't think you could
<v Speaker 1>do the rave.
<v Speaker 2>And then what goes on at a rave is that
<v Speaker 2>where you bounce out, that's a mosh pit where you're
<v Speaker 2>bouncing off.
<v Speaker 4>Into each other.
<v Speaker 1>It's been a really long time since the raves.
<v Speaker 2>In the dark with the lasers and the smoke and
<v Speaker 2>the ecstasies, right not outside?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah right? Yeah?
<v Speaker 4>Is it inside or outside?
<v Speaker 1>Well, they can be both, like inside ouse.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like the inside raves are better because you
<v Speaker 2>get the lasers and the smokes machines in the ecstasies.
<v Speaker 1>You can have all that outside back off.
<v Speaker 3>Hey no, sorry, okay, yeah, just one more inside. This
<v Speaker 3>one's inside, but it's closing down that one up Arcade Bar, the.
<v Speaker 4>Original one up downtown.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I was reading their posts on Instagram talking about the
<v Speaker 2>financial times have kind of just hit them hard, and yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's the good news is they're opening another one in
<v Speaker 2>Bellmar exactly.
<v Speaker 3>So the Blake Street location they closed that on the
<v Speaker 3>twenty second, so it just wrapped up business. But yeah,
<v Speaker 3>the plan is to shift focus to Bellmar shopping district
<v Speaker 3>where they plan to continue next chapter.
<v Speaker 1>So that'll be later this year. Is when they plan on.
<v Speaker 4>Doing like two or three other ones too, don't they?
<v Speaker 1>I think so? Yeah?
<v Speaker 4>I think got one village.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah around the metro, but I've only been to this
<v Speaker 3>once and it was the original location, and it was
<v Speaker 3>about fifteen years ago.
<v Speaker 1>I remember.
<v Speaker 3>It's like when it first popped up, is when I
<v Speaker 3>went to the one up Arcade bar, so.
<v Speaker 2>All the OGE original arcade games and stuff. It's right
<v Speaker 2>up my alley. Yeah, I would love to go there.
<v Speaker 1>It's a lot of fun.
<v Speaker 3>It was a great little concept they had there to
<v Speaker 3>combine those two.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, that first you could have the raves there.
<v Speaker 1>You can you can have the raves and all the
<v Speaker 1>good stuff that.
<v Speaker 3>Comes to the Ecstasyson Okay, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I keep saying that
