<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katy and Josh six one hundred the best part
<v Speaker 1>of your month for the month of June. It's a
<v Speaker 1>Friday today. We do this on the final Friday of
<v Speaker 1>every month. People get to call in and tell us
<v Speaker 1>about the best part of their month. I gotta really
<v Speaker 1>think it's been kind of a crappy month.
<v Speaker 2>Oh no, oh.
<v Speaker 3>Saturday for Jair Bear. I've had some pretty big highlights.
<v Speaker 2>Pretty big.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I think the only big highlight for me is
<v Speaker 1>that it's Dad Shirt Friday.
<v Speaker 2>Go check out the video on our Instagram.
<v Speaker 1>You're celebrating Katie Josh Honey, the ig.
<v Speaker 2>Really excited to see that.
<v Speaker 1>I come in this morning. Katie's sick, just days before
<v Speaker 1>we're all leaving for some vacation time.
<v Speaker 3>That's nice.
<v Speaker 4>I've been feeling kind of under the weather for a
<v Speaker 4>couple of days, and I've just like it's the allergies,
<v Speaker 4>it's the weather changing all over the place.
<v Speaker 3>It's hot, it's cold, it's raining, and that messes with me.
<v Speaker 4>But I woke up today and I was like a smoker,
<v Speaker 4>I know, and so I took some dake. Well I'm
<v Speaker 4>trying to fight it, you know, But yeah, here's the thing.
<v Speaker 4>It is hard for us to take a scheduled day off.
<v Speaker 4>Did you really just want me to be like, I
<v Speaker 4>can't come in today? I got the sniffle it.
<v Speaker 2>Like take days off when we're going to be taking vacation.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, so I didn't know, Like I don't. We don't
<v Speaker 3>call in sick. It's not an you know. So it's
<v Speaker 3>like I took some medicine.
<v Speaker 2>Like when you first came in, you were like, hey,
<v Speaker 2>what's up, Good Morning's good to be here Friday.
<v Speaker 3>It doesn't like even my grip I noticed.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what's wrong with it.
<v Speaker 3>I know, but I came in.
<v Speaker 4>Today and I have my water bottle and my coffee
<v Speaker 4>cup and I was trying to juggle them to open
<v Speaker 4>the door out front.
<v Speaker 3>My water bottle one f to grab it, and.
<v Speaker 4>As I did that, I poured almost my entire cup
<v Speaker 4>of coffee right across the front of my shirt.
<v Speaker 3>So if you're on YouTube, you.
<v Speaker 2>Can wet T shirt Country.
<v Speaker 3>I am dealing with a wet shirt on top of
<v Speaker 3>not feeling our.
<v Speaker 2>Viewer numbers just the way up on the YouTube tay
<v Speaker 2>to wear a white T shirt too.
<v Speaker 3>I'm here, We're doing it.
<v Speaker 2>You'll be fing okay, I know everything. Sorry to hear
<v Speaker 2>about your grip strength, though, it's gonna throw a curveball
<v Speaker 2>through our softball game after the show. No, yeah, fortunately,
<v Speaker 2>I'll be in.
<v Speaker 3>The outfield you can find.
<v Speaker 2>Hope you feel better today. There's anything else we can
<v Speaker 2>get you a cough drop, a lozenge.
<v Speaker 3>Both of those things would be one.
<v Speaker 2>Saran wrapp to wrap around your face. Anything we move
<v Speaker 2>you into the next room.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe we should give you guys a heads up that
<v Speaker 1>you're probably gonna want to tune into Channel nine today.
<v Speaker 2>I think right around noon.
<v Speaker 1>Is when Colorado and Company. We'll have to look in
<v Speaker 1>it's I think they replayed it and then replay it
<v Speaker 1>at noon.
<v Speaker 2>On channel two or nine or seven or six. Well,
<v Speaker 2>we'll get you all the details, but definitely check.
<v Speaker 1>Your TV program on your uh on your TV there
<v Speaker 1>and uh yeah, definitely ten Channel nine Colorado and Company.
<v Speaker 2>We're bringing on pizza for Slice Sliced Baby.
<v Speaker 3>This was a fun stop.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well it hasn't happened yet, Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, sure, yeah, yeah, it happens today.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, we didn't go yesterday in pre record, it'll be
<v Speaker 2>today live after the show. We're gonna be there, so
<v Speaker 2>make sure you check it out. That's funny, Katie. It
<v Speaker 2>was a lot of fun It is gonna be so
<v Speaker 2>funny a lot of days.
<v Speaker 3>I've gone a lot of medicine right now. What day
<v Speaker 3>is it?
<v Speaker 5>Like?
<v Speaker 1>I got a quick question for you guys or what
<v Speaker 1>your thoughts are with men in shorts at the workplace.
<v Speaker 1>I just walked past the sports studio, the big window there,
<v Speaker 1>all the guys over there in shorts. I'm not a
<v Speaker 1>fan of wearing shorts to a place of business. Even
<v Speaker 1>though we are in radio and stuff, we still have
<v Speaker 1>live streams. There's still clients that come in and out.
<v Speaker 1>And I looked at those clowns over there, and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, man, you guys are wearing shorts today.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, I just feel like it's not a
<v Speaker 2>good look for guys.
<v Speaker 4>I think I'm just used to it because I've worked
<v Speaker 4>in the sports radio scene for so much in my
<v Speaker 4>career that I mean, they roll in in basketball shorts
<v Speaker 4>and tank tops.
<v Speaker 2>All the time. It's such a weird look, as if you.
<v Speaker 3>Just got off from the gym and now it's time
<v Speaker 3>to go into work.
<v Speaker 2>Off the court, It's.
<v Speaker 3>Like they're always doing sports. That's part of their whole
<v Speaker 3>life style.
<v Speaker 4>I'm gonna get off of the show here and go
<v Speaker 4>play a pickup game of basketball on the street, Like
<v Speaker 4>that's their whole plan.
<v Speaker 1>So we'll find some high school kids and play a
<v Speaker 1>quick ground of rugby or nothing.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I'm just used to the fact that, you know,
<v Speaker 4>guys over on the sports station, especially wear basketball shorts.
<v Speaker 4>I tried to acclimate that whole style one time in
<v Speaker 4>my career and they sent out an email to the
<v Speaker 4>whole staff about how it's not okay to our sweatpants
<v Speaker 4>to work.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, never done it again.
<v Speaker 3>I've never done it again.
<v Speaker 1>I think we might need one of those eventually. But
<v Speaker 1>goes out at this radio station cluster, dress a little
<v Speaker 1>nicer because it is still in office in a very
<v Speaker 1>nice part of town. It's a very nice office, and
<v Speaker 1>we do have people coming in and out of here
<v Speaker 1>on a daily basis. And I'm just not a fan
<v Speaker 1>of showing off my knees.
<v Speaker 5>I remember I came from the sports side, Sharon, you
<v Speaker 5>made fun of me one time and I completely stopped. Yeah, yes,
<v Speaker 5>I completely You're like, why am I looking at your knees?
<v Speaker 2>If I might look at dude knees, yeah, I might
<v Speaker 2>go shoot a video of those guys's knees, not a
<v Speaker 2>like guy knees knees. Yeah, no joke man, only slobs
<v Speaker 2>next door. All right, speaking of sports, what you got?
<v Speaker 5>Well, the USA played last night and they actually dropped
<v Speaker 5>the match against Turkey. Now the good news about that
<v Speaker 5>is it didn't matter. They were already in first place
<v Speaker 5>in their division and they're going on to the round
<v Speaker 5>of thirty two, which is very exciting because that will
<v Speaker 5>happen Wednesday, July first, and they're playing Bosnia and Herzegovina
<v Speaker 5>longest freaking name ever.
<v Speaker 6>Good lord, that's a place, I guess.
<v Speaker 3>So first on the Google.
<v Speaker 6>Maps Bosnia and HER's a Govina.
<v Speaker 2>We're gonna I think it's hurts. Hurts it. There's a
<v Speaker 2>z there. Hurts like the rental car Is that where
<v Speaker 2>they're from? Yeah, it hurts originated the rental car company.
<v Speaker 6>It hurts anyway, So much has gone on.
<v Speaker 5>This is the most viewed World Cup of all time
<v Speaker 5>taking place in the US. All over in Canada as
<v Speaker 5>well as Mexico and Europeans are finding out about uh,
<v Speaker 5>the United States weather and just how serious it can get.
<v Speaker 5>People from Norway are coming over here and they're playing
<v Speaker 5>in Kansas City right now. And Kansas City has some
<v Speaker 5>pretty bad weather. We know the famous line, We're not
<v Speaker 5>in Kansas anymore because they're getting massive tornadoes and huge clouds.
<v Speaker 5>One Norwegian fan said really quickly, he loves Kansas, but
<v Speaker 5>the weather makes him a little scared.
<v Speaker 2>City is amazing, really amazing, but I'm afraid of the weather.
<v Speaker 5>Because it is they're getting some massive tornadoes and huge
<v Speaker 5>hail and thunderstoms which are coming from Colorado. We've been
<v Speaker 5>experiencing some pretty stormy weather here lately. Well, Kansas City
<v Speaker 5>usually gets out about a day or two later, and
<v Speaker 5>that is absolutely scary for them for people who've never
<v Speaker 5>experienced any type of tornado, you know.
<v Speaker 3>No, tornadoes are terrifying, especially if you're not used to them.
<v Speaker 3>The way they fill the sky so.
<v Speaker 4>Ominous, like yeah, oh totally yea, now it's so scary
<v Speaker 4>as Americans.
<v Speaker 5>Though. One thing that's funny and being brought by the
<v Speaker 5>World Cup is a lot of Google things are happening
<v Speaker 5>right now.
<v Speaker 2>Where what are Google things?
<v Speaker 1>A lot of Google searches, Oh, Google searches, Yeah, Google searches,
<v Speaker 1>share a lot of Google things.
<v Speaker 5>Well anyway, what else they're searching things? Like, hey, what
<v Speaker 5>is soccer actually called. Well, around the world, we call
<v Speaker 5>it football. That is a lot of people in America
<v Speaker 5>have no idea, which is kind of funny to me,
<v Speaker 5>but we call our Americans sport football. Then around the
<v Speaker 5>world other people called that football. Is the US having
<v Speaker 5>a World Cup? And is US good at soccer? Yes,
<v Speaker 5>the US is having a World Cup right now, and
<v Speaker 5>I guess we're okay at soccer right now we're kind
<v Speaker 5>of actually getting a DC.
<v Speaker 6>Well, we're getting really.
<v Speaker 5>Good matchups right now. Is not expected to win the
<v Speaker 5>World Cup. That's probably gonna be France. They are very
<v Speaker 5>very good. But right now we're getting good matchups and
<v Speaker 5>that's not too shabby. The big thing that europe is
<v Speaker 5>googling right now is is ranch an American thing? And yes,
<v Speaker 5>the Europeans are finding all about ranch and they freaking
<v Speaker 5>love it.
<v Speaker 3>Now.
<v Speaker 5>What's funny is the TSA actually considers ranch a gel,
<v Speaker 5>which kind of sounds but you do have to put
<v Speaker 5>it in your checked bag because it is a sauce
<v Speaker 5>or a gel. So make sure if you're from Europe,
<v Speaker 5>and obviously you're listening to JKJ, pack that ranch not
<v Speaker 5>in your carry on because you'll be flagged for sure.
<v Speaker 5>And then also a lot of people are asking why
<v Speaker 5>is the why are there pink their cleats so pink? Well,
<v Speaker 5>a lot of soccer players love the electric Fuchia is
<v Speaker 5>the actual term for electric, but a lot of the
<v Speaker 5>companies that are making.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, it does.
<v Speaker 5>A lot of the companies that are making the cleats
<v Speaker 5>they want they want their feet to stand out, so
<v Speaker 5>they're making very brightly colored things as well. And then
<v Speaker 5>also the final question that a lot of people are
<v Speaker 5>googling is do soccer players wear sports bras? Now, a
<v Speaker 5>lot of times in warm ups, one of the funny
<v Speaker 5>things you'll see is men that look like they're actually
<v Speaker 5>wearing a sports bra. They're not wearing their their kit
<v Speaker 5>yet or their jersey yet, And no, they're not wearing
<v Speaker 5>sports bras, everybody, Sorry to disappoint you. Their heart monitors
<v Speaker 5>and they also monitor how much they run on the field,
<v Speaker 5>and it's just a thing just to see how much
<v Speaker 5>exercise they're getting and they are really really into tracking
<v Speaker 5>all that. So sorry to disappoint everybody. Know, the men
<v Speaker 5>out there are not wearing the sports A man really hoping.
<v Speaker 3>Viral local moments, local legends, and just enough national drama
<v Speaker 3>to keep your group chats spicy.
<v Speaker 7>Hope you guys are ready for this mile high hype.
<v Speaker 1>Well, let's get you updated on all the stuff going
<v Speaker 1>on today. I will tell you today's National take your
<v Speaker 1>Dog to Work Day.
<v Speaker 2>And ironically and ironically.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, it's all National Safer Workplace Day today.
<v Speaker 2>So be careful if you're bringing that pitbull to work today, right,
<v Speaker 2>you put a little muzzle on it. What else is
<v Speaker 2>going on?
<v Speaker 1>The data Travis wedding is supposed to be allegedly a
<v Speaker 1>multi day event. Now, there's going to be an intimate
<v Speaker 1>gathering at Madison Square Garden on the second with about
<v Speaker 1>one hundred people. July third, up to two thousand guests
<v Speaker 1>for a much larger party.
<v Speaker 2>And then when's the actual wedding.
<v Speaker 3>On the for the second is the wedding and then
<v Speaker 3>the third is a party?
<v Speaker 1>Is what it says that there's an intimate gathering on
<v Speaker 1>July second?
<v Speaker 2>I think, is that at the wedding.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, the intimate gathering is the wedding.
<v Speaker 2>There's a wedding.
<v Speaker 3>You know, they're famous, they gotta be fancy.
<v Speaker 2>It's an intimate gathering, not a wedding.
<v Speaker 3>But this is going to be a two day event.
<v Speaker 4>Now, like, how can she make it any bigger? My goodness,
<v Speaker 4>you know, if anybody's gonna do.
<v Speaker 2>It, though its over multiple changes.
<v Speaker 1>People are saying that Travis is super excited, blah blah blah. Okay, So,
<v Speaker 1>despite the permits, the block streets, the reported invitations, the
<v Speaker 1>NYPD officers stationed outside Madison Square Garden remain unconvinced that Tata.
<v Speaker 2>Will marry Travis Kelce there.
<v Speaker 1>Next weekend, CNN went out and talked to a bunch
<v Speaker 1>of the officers and they were all like, they think
<v Speaker 1>this is a ruse, this is a decoy. A lot
<v Speaker 1>of them are saying she's a glamorous girl. She wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>get married here.
<v Speaker 8>I know.
<v Speaker 1>That's kind of what I said yesterday. I was like,
<v Speaker 1>why Madison Square Garden. Go somewhere intimate, off in the
<v Speaker 1>off in a forest and do something romantic and small.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, well to do that, she was up in Rhode Island.
<v Speaker 4>She had a place and then people spilled the beans,
<v Speaker 4>so she canceled it.
<v Speaker 3>So I think she's just in the you.
<v Speaker 2>Know, does that mean she was gonna have a wedding
<v Speaker 2>in Rhode Island?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah? Like they had a placebooked, like on the.
<v Speaker 5>Same day as another couple, right, yeah, the couple was
<v Speaker 5>like no, No.
<v Speaker 4>I think the word was that people found out about it,
<v Speaker 4>like people within the building, within the events center, that
<v Speaker 4>they told people. Word was starting to spread that that
<v Speaker 4>was where she was gonna get married, and she wasn't
<v Speaker 4>having it.
<v Speaker 2>But now words spreading up at work, and she's like.
<v Speaker 4>If I'm going to have the people talk about my
<v Speaker 4>wedding anyway, I'm gonna get in front of it.
<v Speaker 1>And so I should put a dollar on whether or
<v Speaker 1>it's a deco bet right now it's gonna happen.
<v Speaker 3>I think I will bet one dollar.
<v Speaker 4>I think it's gonna happen on the weekend of the second, third,
<v Speaker 4>and fourth that they are gonna get married.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna have a big part of the witness.
<v Speaker 4>Now you can msg at the garden they're gonna get married.
<v Speaker 4>I think it's a thing you are saying.
<v Speaker 1>They are saying that she is a billionaire and she
<v Speaker 1>can't afford to transform the venue into basically anything she wants.
<v Speaker 4>And the security there, I think is the biggest thing.
<v Speaker 4>Because there are no windows, people can't peek in and
<v Speaker 4>people can go park.
<v Speaker 3>Down underneath top like it's genius.
<v Speaker 2>It's kind of genius, all right.
<v Speaker 1>Well, the suspense is killing me, and I'll make sure
<v Speaker 1>I tune in for every month of it. Yeah, here's
<v Speaker 1>some news that made me smile because of the oversaturation
<v Speaker 1>of Dolly Parton. She's now got a Tennessee travel stop
<v Speaker 1>slash truck stop.
<v Speaker 2>And she was there for the ribbon cutting.
<v Speaker 1>She's surprised fans on Wednesday, and she poked a little
<v Speaker 1>fun at BUCkies.
<v Speaker 2>I guess while she was there. Oooh, don't poke the beamer.
<v Speaker 2>Don't poke the beaver.
<v Speaker 1>So they've got gas pumps and charging stations, a travel
<v Speaker 1>stop fully stocked with.
<v Speaker 2>Dolly themed merchandise.
<v Speaker 1>There's a chandelier there that's made out of bedazzled guitars,
<v Speaker 1>which sounds kind of cool. That does a restaurant, some
<v Speaker 1>grabb and go barbecue, a coffee shop, showers, laundry room,
<v Speaker 1>seating area.
<v Speaker 3>It's a whole thing.
<v Speaker 2>It's a complete truck stop. And on top of it all.
<v Speaker 1>There's some TV commercials with a little Dolly jingle and
<v Speaker 1>travel stops.
<v Speaker 3>Travel stops, come on in. You're welcome here.
<v Speaker 9>Just make your simon Tennessee and travel stops along belongs.
<v Speaker 2>Cars and buses, camper shrugs. We have hardy and you'll
<v Speaker 2>comings in and you're.
<v Speaker 3>Going now, don't forget to stop and face.
<v Speaker 10>Can I fill up?
<v Speaker 9>You know I'll always love you, so don't forget to stop.
<v Speaker 3>Visit in the sea and travel stops only Dolly Parton,
<v Speaker 3>you know what load to you in a jingle? You
<v Speaker 3>know that.
<v Speaker 2>I hear that again. I was listening to it off you.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think I'd ever go there.
<v Speaker 4>I think it sounds just like a Bucky's, like the showers,
<v Speaker 4>the coffee, the Barbie shirts, barbecue, I know exactly like
<v Speaker 4>there's a lot of things. BUCkies is famous for the barbecue,
<v Speaker 4>the massive It seems like.
<v Speaker 2>You put Dolly's name on it, some big boobs.
<v Speaker 4>Huh, cotail chair, the beaber beavers. You know it's fine.
<v Speaker 4>M hmmm, Oh, the Beaver's package is fine.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 4>Let's go to local news like the Denver affordable housing crisis.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, let's get serious for a second. I'm fine because
<v Speaker 3>they're thinking shot.
<v Speaker 4>A solution to the affordable housing crisis, and it's kind
<v Speaker 4>of terrifying, like.
<v Speaker 3>Stackable trailer houses.
<v Speaker 2>Have we not seen ready? Josh, that's immediately what I'm incredibly.
<v Speaker 1>It's a big renewable industry right now, taking containers and
<v Speaker 1>making tiny houses.
<v Speaker 2>They look rat Have you not seen them?
<v Speaker 4>Have you read the books where it starts?
<v Speaker 3>This is how it's. People start like.
<v Speaker 4>Then gas is too expensive, you can't go anywhere, and
<v Speaker 4>then you're just huddled up in this little trailer house
<v Speaker 4>and you're that anyway, you have an avatar and you
<v Speaker 4>don't even care about your real life.
<v Speaker 3>You could do that.
<v Speaker 2>Everybody day already. Oh like it.
<v Speaker 4>Denver Santa fe Art District is among the city's modular
<v Speaker 4>affordable housing complexes that they're starting up in six months,
<v Speaker 4>people could be living in these things.
<v Speaker 2>They're neat looking started.
<v Speaker 1>I follow a couple of Instagram accounts for these guys
<v Speaker 1>that take these old storage containers and they turn them
<v Speaker 1>into tiny houses.
<v Speaker 2>They're banging looking. It's like, I kind of what one
<v Speaker 2>the top of each other? Yeah, okay, you lived in
<v Speaker 2>an apartment? Yeah whatever.
<v Speaker 3>No, I just don't think that this is the way
<v Speaker 3>we want to go. I get that there's a housing
<v Speaker 3>crisis and we fix it, but.
<v Speaker 4>Gosh, do we not learn from the you know, stuff
<v Speaker 4>we've put out already.
<v Speaker 2>I just feel like it's the same thing as.
<v Speaker 3>A and AI was only a book in the eighties.
<v Speaker 3>Terminator wasn't going to happen in the eighties.
<v Speaker 4>And look here we are. It's just one step away.
<v Speaker 4>Flat cop coming to the door, chasing me down the highway.
<v Speaker 2>Like they did. They've done that anyway. You've been in jail,
<v Speaker 2>they shut out chearings.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't try and get away.
<v Speaker 2>This is just your childhood.
<v Speaker 3>No, no, no, no.
<v Speaker 4>I don't like it the minute I saw it, and
<v Speaker 4>I'm glad you thought the same thing.
<v Speaker 3>Immediately. I was like Ready Player one. I don't know
<v Speaker 3>if you read Ready Player two.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want your beach with with affordable housing.
<v Speaker 1>But man, send your hate mail to Katie about just
<v Speaker 1>making mix one hundred dot com.
<v Speaker 4>It's affordable, and I don't have to be stacked on
<v Speaker 4>top of somebody hard time about that about that year
<v Speaker 4>fall on hard time. It's not okay, not okay anyway,
<v Speaker 4>Just in case you're wondering, that's and we.
<v Speaker 2>All have avatars already, and we all sit on the
<v Speaker 2>internet already like that, and you.
<v Speaker 4>Sit on your couch all day like, no, I don't
<v Speaker 4>I'm out. I walked three miles yesterday. Well, you ate
<v Speaker 4>a Costco hot dog home?
<v Speaker 3>Talk about that.
<v Speaker 1>First hold up I got. The drink I got was
<v Speaker 1>through their Mocha freeze.
<v Speaker 3>Uh huh.
<v Speaker 1>I'm telling you that combination Costco hot Dog with a
<v Speaker 1>Mocha freeze game changer in the world of held you.
<v Speaker 3>After that, that is not a game change.
<v Speaker 2>I'll also tell you about twenty minute after having that
<v Speaker 2>for lunch, I was like, that was a bad idea. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that was a really bad idea.
<v Speaker 1>Especially when we had to go down to Channel nine
<v Speaker 1>and be on TV and I ate a big old
<v Speaker 1>gizzie before we went down.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, a good choice.
<v Speaker 3>Life.
<v Speaker 2>Anyways, curry on.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, Grand Slam Page Chiam. We're getting to it because
<v Speaker 4>that is tomorrow and Sunday real quick. It is absolutely
<v Speaker 4>free and they're telling all ages to come on down there.
<v Speaker 4>Live Mural Festival is what they're calling it, and they're
<v Speaker 4>gonna have over twenty muralists there, live art demos, interactive
<v Speaker 4>art stations, music, food trucks, all the stuff. But again,
<v Speaker 4>it is absolutely free, so we wanted to just let
<v Speaker 4>people know about it. It's gonna be right around Lawrence Street,
<v Speaker 4>so twenty third, between twenty second and twenty third and Lawrence,
<v Speaker 4>I think swear it's gonna be. But yeah, definitely a
<v Speaker 4>fun thing to bring the family to. And I know
<v Speaker 4>that everybody's looking for stuff for the kiddos, and this
<v Speaker 4>one is free.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah what's free? Okay much? Absolutely free?
<v Speaker 4>Ninety nine and then one more because Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
<v Speaker 4>has two new baby Grizzly bears. They are just like
<v Speaker 4>thirty pounds or super little. They have that ring around
<v Speaker 4>their collar like grizzly baby.
<v Speaker 2>They're incredibly cute. So yeah, it's it's a cuddle aggression
<v Speaker 2>that I have. I want to bite them.
<v Speaker 3>Well, not only you.
<v Speaker 4>There was a newscaster in Colorado Springs who was talking
<v Speaker 4>about it and it had me laughing.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, here it is.
<v Speaker 3>Oh they are so cute. Now, oh look at that
<v Speaker 3>guy with his tongue.
<v Speaker 9>Oh man, I know that you shouldn't, but I would
<v Speaker 9>love to hug one.
<v Speaker 3>I would love to hug one. So we can't hug
<v Speaker 3>them or even see them just yet.
<v Speaker 2>They've like a girl. And she looked at me, she
<v Speaker 2>was like, oh.
<v Speaker 3>Look at that guy with his tongue. O.
<v Speaker 2>Man, Yeah, she's hot.
<v Speaker 3>Jeer me.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, again, you can't really see him down there in
<v Speaker 4>the Shya Mountain Zoo because they have them in the
<v Speaker 4>Rocky Mountain Wild kind of getting their examined exactly.
<v Speaker 3>Fact, they you know there. You don't want to.
<v Speaker 2>Throw them in with the big grizzlies.
<v Speaker 3>No, they can see.
<v Speaker 4>The grizzlies through a fence though, so they're trying to
<v Speaker 4>get them acclimated with the two bigger they're like twenty year.
<v Speaker 3>Old grizzlies that were sterned as cubs too. And well,
<v Speaker 3>here's the thing.
<v Speaker 4>This is the first time cubs have been brought to
<v Speaker 4>the Shine Mountains doing over twenty years. And the reason
<v Speaker 4>they had to. It's kind of sad. Their mother was
<v Speaker 4>euthanized because of a history of conflicts with people. So
<v Speaker 4>they're hoping that this raises awareness to people though, because
<v Speaker 4>there's so many folks out there who are looking for
<v Speaker 4>that picture.
<v Speaker 3>Right, they don't care, and this stuff can happen if
<v Speaker 3>you get too close.
<v Speaker 2>They could do that to my mother in law.
<v Speaker 3>They're true, Okay, one can always help.
<v Speaker 2>She says she has a history of conflicts with people too.
<v Speaker 3>All right, Well, Jerry, Katy.
<v Speaker 2>And Josh six one hundred boy.
<v Speaker 1>Storms hit again last night in the Mile High City.
<v Speaker 2>Woke me up about.
<v Speaker 1>It was like right around eleven midnight, just that crazy
<v Speaker 1>rain and win and possible hail again last night.
<v Speaker 2>It was nutty. The lightning was absolutely ridiculous.
<v Speaker 4>Well, I saw a lot of areas across the state
<v Speaker 4>getting hit with floods, like unexpected floodwaters.
<v Speaker 2>Bad weather again, real bad weather.
<v Speaker 3>So hope everyone's safe out there.
<v Speaker 2>Well, and then right around one thirty last night, I.
<v Speaker 1>Heard my son shuffling around and then I saw like
<v Speaker 1>lights getting flashed in the house and stuff, and he.
<v Speaker 2>Had his flashlight out. I guess the power went out.
<v Speaker 1>Oh no, right around one thirty, which is it's annoying
<v Speaker 1>because then you lay there and you're wondering, you know, well,
<v Speaker 1>how's this morning going to go and when's it gonna
<v Speaker 1>come back on? But thank god, Excel called me seven
<v Speaker 1>times to let me know what was going on. My
<v Speaker 1>phone rang it was I should go back and look.
<v Speaker 1>I think it was seven times, and I keep my
<v Speaker 1>phone on silent, but I do still have it on
<v Speaker 1>vibrate in case there's an emergency. So you know, I'm
<v Speaker 1>laying there and I get them. Yeah, and then you
<v Speaker 1>feel it in you here, you know, as I'm trying
<v Speaker 1>to doze back off because I'm already thinking about the
<v Speaker 1>power off. But they called me to let me know
<v Speaker 1>that my power went out. They called me again to
<v Speaker 1>let me know that they are working on.
<v Speaker 2>Restoring my power.
<v Speaker 1>They called me again and said the power beyond by three,
<v Speaker 1>and then they called me again and said four.
<v Speaker 3>Oh.
<v Speaker 1>And then they called me again and said five oh. No,
<v Speaker 1>And then I heard the power come back on. And
<v Speaker 1>then I got another.
<v Speaker 2>Phone call to let me know that the power had
<v Speaker 2>been turned back on. So thank you Excel for keeping
<v Speaker 2>me updated on my power situation.
<v Speaker 3>Do they do this in the daytime hours?
<v Speaker 6>Two?
<v Speaker 3>Do they keep you updated?
<v Speaker 1>I've never I think they do. Yeah, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I got sucked into something. I must have signed up
<v Speaker 1>for something. It must alerts. Yeah, where I'm getting calls
<v Speaker 1>and it's not fun when it's two in the morning
<v Speaker 1>and my phone.
<v Speaker 3>Is oh, I would be so annoyed, and it was
<v Speaker 3>so it was excessive.
<v Speaker 2>I appreciate the alerts, but hey, your power's off. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I know, I know. Hey, your powers back on? Hey? Thanks?
<v Speaker 2>They noticed what was.
<v Speaker 3>Your son doing? At one thirty in the morning.
<v Speaker 2>He gets a little freaked out when they hear the
<v Speaker 2>power go out, because you can hear it, hear everything.
<v Speaker 2>You know. He's got a fan in his room and
<v Speaker 2>it goes off, so he gets a.
<v Speaker 1>Little like I get that, So he immediately has to.
<v Speaker 2>Wake everybody up and let us know that the power
<v Speaker 2>is out.
<v Speaker 3>I thought he was like down in his little three
<v Speaker 3>D printer.
<v Speaker 1>The other thing I found extremely concerning is the amount
<v Speaker 1>of stuff that just turns on in my house after
<v Speaker 1>the power kicks on, because I went, you know, after
<v Speaker 1>I fell back asleep and went downstairs.
<v Speaker 2>Then when my alarm finally went off.
<v Speaker 1>The amount of lights that just come on when the
<v Speaker 1>power comes back on. There was a TV on, one
<v Speaker 1>of my soundbars was on. I walked in our office
<v Speaker 1>and my wife's complete work from home setup was just on.
<v Speaker 2>Lights in my garage on. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So I guess a lot of this stuff in my
<v Speaker 1>home is power sensitive. So if it goes out and
<v Speaker 1>comes back on, it's just on.
<v Speaker 4>It's automatically. I wonder if there's a switch for that
<v Speaker 4>or setting.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, but I instantly am thinking, Okay, so
<v Speaker 1>what if we're out of town for a week, or something.
<v Speaker 2>Power goes off. We get home and everything's on and
<v Speaker 2>it's been running. I want a discount from excelf. That's
<v Speaker 2>the case.
<v Speaker 3>Well at Lisa looked like someone's home and house.
<v Speaker 2>Positive an issue the post office yesterday, so I.
<v Speaker 4>Went in to mail some stuff and you know how
<v Speaker 4>you have to go up to the counter and you're
<v Speaker 4>not quite ready. So they're like, why don't you go
<v Speaker 4>out to that back counter and fill the stuff out
<v Speaker 4>and then come back right okay, So I get.
<v Speaker 3>To the front of the line.
<v Speaker 4>They tell me to do that, go fill out some
<v Speaker 4>stuff at the back counter, and then when I'm ready again,
<v Speaker 4>I go back to the line and I get into
<v Speaker 4>the back of the line.
<v Speaker 3>That's the pus you should write, exactly.
<v Speaker 4>And so I get to the back of the line
<v Speaker 4>and I await my turn again, and all of a
<v Speaker 4>sudden there's this lady and she did the same thing.
<v Speaker 4>She got to you know, she was being served at
<v Speaker 4>the counter and they told her you're not.
<v Speaker 3>Ready yet, go fill this stuff out at the back.
<v Speaker 4>She went and did that, and instead of getting back
<v Speaker 4>into the back of the line like real humans do,
<v Speaker 4>she decided she was going to stand to the side
<v Speaker 4>of everybody and just wait until the person motioned her like,
<v Speaker 4>oh yeah, you don't have to wait in line again,
<v Speaker 4>come on up to the front.
<v Speaker 3>That is not how it works, and you could tell
<v Speaker 3>the person.
<v Speaker 4>The person who was serving her like looked at me
<v Speaker 4>first to see if I was going to be okay
<v Speaker 4>with it, because I was the next person in line.
<v Speaker 4>She was cutting in front of me, and I just
<v Speaker 4>kind of smell them. It was like, it's fine, because
<v Speaker 4>I wasn't going to create a scene right there in
<v Speaker 4>the post office. But also the person in front of me,
<v Speaker 4>right they had just said, hey, you were here before me,
<v Speaker 4>why don't you go ahead, And I was like, no,
<v Speaker 4>that's totally fine, you do it. That's very nice to
<v Speaker 4>you to say, but you go ahead and get your
<v Speaker 4>stuff taken care of first.
<v Speaker 3>The person behind me.
<v Speaker 4>Even I took a little bit of extra time when
<v Speaker 4>I finally filled everything out and the counterperson said, this
<v Speaker 4>is going to take a minute, and so I turned
<v Speaker 4>around and I told the gentleman, thank you, thank you
<v Speaker 4>so much for being patient.
<v Speaker 3>I know you probably a place.
<v Speaker 2>So much kindness.
<v Speaker 4>And he was like, it's fine, take your time. I've
<v Speaker 4>got plenty of time today. So everyone was super kind,
<v Speaker 4>except for this one unhuman like lady who didn't feel
<v Speaker 4>like standing in line. She thought she was above it,
<v Speaker 4>And boy, that drives me crazy when people.
<v Speaker 2>Do in the moment.
<v Speaker 3>Well, because again, I'm not going to cause a scene.
<v Speaker 3>I just feel like this was an older woman. She
<v Speaker 3>should know. I also feel like.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to make a scene. I'm just gonna
<v Speaker 1>go on the air tomorrow morning.
<v Speaker 4>Absolutely, But I feel like once you get to a
<v Speaker 4>certain age.
<v Speaker 3>You kind of just like the rule rules anymore.
<v Speaker 2>But let me ask you something.
<v Speaker 1>Do you know if the counter attended at the post
<v Speaker 1>office said, hey, when you're done, just come right back.
<v Speaker 2>Up to the front. I don't know if she did
<v Speaker 2>or not, but we don't know that situation.
<v Speaker 4>I was in the same situation as this lady just
<v Speaker 4>moments before, and she didn't tell me that. She didn't say,
<v Speaker 4>when you're done filling that out, come right back up
<v Speaker 4>to the front. She just said, go fill out yourself, lady,
<v Speaker 4>come back when you're ready, same lady.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe she didn't like you.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know why. That's part of this conversation.
<v Speaker 4>And I know, right, come on, I'm super friendly, but no,
<v Speaker 4>it definitely irked me.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, I feel like, this is.
<v Speaker 1>Just that's common that's etiquette. It's common knowledge, common knowledge.
<v Speaker 1>You don't go right back up and cut in front,
<v Speaker 1>you get back in line because you were not prepared.
<v Speaker 4>I was not the only person who looked at this
<v Speaker 4>lady like the heck you.
<v Speaker 2>Think nobody spoke up. Nobody's speaking up.
<v Speaker 3>She was an elderly lady. I don't think anybody really wanted.
<v Speaker 1>To call her out in a loud voice because she
<v Speaker 1>probably can't hear too well.
<v Speaker 4>This was one of those those uh you know, post
<v Speaker 4>offices that served as another business.
<v Speaker 3>So it was a post office slash boutique shop.
<v Speaker 4>So I didn't know if they just didn't want to
<v Speaker 4>throw down right there in the middle of the.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know, it really was.
<v Speaker 4>I've never heard of this post offish slash slash like.
<v Speaker 4>They had closed they had little knickknacks, they had purses,
<v Speaker 4>they had shoes, they had uh you know, birthday cards, a.
<v Speaker 1>Little takes the mail though, Okay, it was the same.
<v Speaker 1>It's a post office and it sometimes I got them
<v Speaker 1>in gas stations, so.
<v Speaker 3>They had a post office within their business.
<v Speaker 2>That's kind of cute.
<v Speaker 4>Like, I didn't know if people just didn't want to,
<v Speaker 4>you know, start something right there and you know, break
<v Speaker 4>some stuff. So I was like, maybe we're just all
<v Speaker 4>being calm so we don't break nothing, you know. I
<v Speaker 4>guess it irked me, and I just like again, thankfully
<v Speaker 4>the person in front of me and behind me were
<v Speaker 4>so kind.
<v Speaker 3>That could have ended a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>I think the moral of the story for you is
<v Speaker 1>to show up prepared to the post office so you
<v Speaker 1>don't have to step to the side.
<v Speaker 3>But I needed her help, Like, that's the thing is.
<v Speaker 4>I needed to overnight something and then I needed them
<v Speaker 4>to overnight it back to me. So I needed to
<v Speaker 4>ask her what the best cheapest way to do that was,
<v Speaker 4>you know.
<v Speaker 3>So that was what I needed to talk to her about.
<v Speaker 4>And then she told me, gave you go fill this
<v Speaker 4>out and had me go fill it out.
<v Speaker 2>So what were you mailing? I was mailing passed, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>take a couple of yuine. I gotta get this to
<v Speaker 2>a guy.
<v Speaker 3>To mail it back.
<v Speaker 2>I needed to get this to a guy in Rhode
<v Speaker 2>Island immediately, and I need it back like applying for
<v Speaker 2>a job, and I need this room back quick man.
<v Speaker 2>Get out of line. On the heels of you talking
<v Speaker 2>about that lady they cut in line at the post office.
<v Speaker 1>Just in general, I think just common courtesy is gone
<v Speaker 1>out the window. I mean, I am so sick and
<v Speaker 1>tired of letting people in in traffic and they don't
<v Speaker 1>give you the courtesy wave.
<v Speaker 2>I always give you the merge too late.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I always give a little.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody's doing that anymore. I've noticed that too with a
<v Speaker 2>lot of our kids.
<v Speaker 1>My kids as friends, like if you take them places,
<v Speaker 1>drop them off, pick them up, they don't say thank you.
<v Speaker 2>What they do not say thank you? They just get
<v Speaker 2>out of the car.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, I was so grateful of a parent dropping off,
<v Speaker 4>Like I've been known to go, you're welcome, Yeah you bet, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I'm safe exactly, Like, just say something snarky.
<v Speaker 2>They just buried in their phone. They open the door
<v Speaker 2>and get out. I'm like, okay, well you're welcome, man.
<v Speaker 2>That irks me. Yeah, you know, there's been a couple
<v Speaker 2>of times I've told Nick, Nick, I don't think I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna pick that kid up anymore.
<v Speaker 4>Well, yeah, if they can have the common courtesy to
<v Speaker 4>say thank you, yeah you got two legs, use them.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's a week right done. To buy a bike.
<v Speaker 4>Exactly exactly your legs broad's broken.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you. Okay, enough complaining. Let's do fast Fight Fie, Fie, Fie.

<v Speaker 2>off like nine of them. Don't do that, so.
<v Speaker 3>Naive and I want to think the best of people.
<v Speaker 3>But Jeremy, you got it, You got it.
<v Speaker 2>Got you? Hi, Melanie, Hey, good morning. What are you

<v Speaker 12>Hopefully going to Chris Brown? And then my roommates are
<v Speaker 12>getting married?
<v Speaker 2>Give me weed, what did you get them for their wedding?
<v Speaker 12>I was in charge of the wine, so I dropped
<v Speaker 12>a couple of hundred on wine for years.
<v Speaker 2>You got a bit of a drinking problem.
<v Speaker 12>No, but I'll support everybody else's drinking problems.
<v Speaker 2>Answer, that's awesome.
<v Speaker 1>What is your like go to drink or cocktail if
<v Speaker 1>you're out having fun?
<v Speaker 12>Cranberry vodka.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, not mad at that for sure. I'm an old
<v Speaker 2>fashioned guy. I like the old fashions.
<v Speaker 12>Oh no, too strong for me.
<v Speaker 2>I'm a whim a little too much.
<v Speaker 1>And then Katie loves gatorade. Katie doesn't drink anymore.
<v Speaker 3>I don't drink.
<v Speaker 4>But actually I like sprite with boba.
<v Speaker 12>Yeah that sounds good, good, so good, not bad at all?
<v Speaker 2>All right? What what?
<v Speaker 8>Oh?
<v Speaker 12>I'm actually paying for my drink and Starbucks right now,
<v Speaker 12>I'm on the radio, say.
<v Speaker 2>Hi, aye what Starbucks?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, which at No, she's busy, she's getting her drink.
<v Speaker 12>I'm in sort and I met like one hundred and
<v Speaker 12>thirty six in Colorado.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, yes, alright, are you in a position to play
<v Speaker 2>right now? Because we're gonna play. Let's go.
<v Speaker 12>I'm ready.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, what's your coffee order?
<v Speaker 12>I like the oat milk shaken espresso.
<v Speaker 2>I alright, sounds expensive, sounds more than that Cranberry vodka.
<v Speaker 2>I'll tell you that much.
<v Speaker 11>Yeah, about the same.
<v Speaker 2>All right, do you like movies?
<v Speaker 1>Sure, give me five famous movie directors.
<v Speaker 9>Go Stephen Stilberg.
<v Speaker 7>Yep, oh, gracious, gas Curry, I don't know, never mind,
<v Speaker 7>you just admitted like defeat never mind.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I know though, Stephen Silberg really got Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna hold onto that because there's a ton a
<v Speaker 1>ton of big names.
<v Speaker 2>By Melanie, you have a good day. I think you're
<v Speaker 2>the phone was cutting out.
<v Speaker 1>Hi, Jessica, Hi, Hey, so are you cleaning your basement
<v Speaker 1>this weekend?
<v Speaker 2>What a what a lucky guess on my part? What
<v Speaker 2>are the odds? Why is your basement so messy?
<v Speaker 12>Well, because it's become a kettle and my kids moved out.
<v Speaker 8>I'm a'm nesty and yeah there it's time.
<v Speaker 3>That's where everything goes right in the base.
<v Speaker 1>Are you going to do that thing now that all
<v Speaker 1>the kids are gone? Are you going to put like
<v Speaker 1>a sewing room in or a pottery room or.
<v Speaker 8>No, no, no, no, not at all.
<v Speaker 12>Weird little dogs, that's their little domain.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, it's a dog.
<v Speaker 1>You're an Asian area down there.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, everyone's gonna come over here. Why does your basement
<v Speaker 2>smell so bad? Well, it's the dog here. That's in
<v Speaker 2>your f future. That is in your future.
<v Speaker 1>All right, in ten seconds, sweet Jessica with a messy basement,
<v Speaker 1>I need you to name five nursery rhymes.
<v Speaker 12>Go okay, humpy dumpy, Mary had.
<v Speaker 10>A little lamb bet.
<v Speaker 2>Come on, come on, spider Yep, you're on a roll.
<v Speaker 2>Jackie Jill, there you go.
<v Speaker 4>Jack Spratt could eat no fat, His wife could eat
<v Speaker 4>no bee.
<v Speaker 12>Little miss Muffet, little miss Muffish.
<v Speaker 2>She sat on that tough, didn't she. Guy sat in
<v Speaker 2>a corner, little Jack Horner.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, okay, what is he?
<v Speaker 2>What was he doing in the corner?
<v Speaker 3>That's what we're eating? His pudding in pie?
<v Speaker 2>No, it wasn't it.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, it was curds and ways.
<v Speaker 2>No, it wasn't little miss Muffet eating her curds and way.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know. They're so confused.
<v Speaker 2>I hate this one. I hate this topic. Nobody knows
<v Speaker 2>giving me directors. Well, I didn't know. Stop yelling at me.
<v Speaker 2>All right, get back to your basement. Have a good weekend.
<v Speaker 2>My god, is anybody gonna win this?
<v Speaker 3>Let's go, guys, it's Friday.
<v Speaker 1>Jason, Yes, yes, how well, super dupes? How are you Jason?
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing good, doing real good kind of.
<v Speaker 3>Need you to win this thing.

<v Speaker 1>We're doing this thing in the eight o'clock hour that
<v Speaker 1>we do on the final Friday of every month. It's
<v Speaker 1>like a feel good Friday thing where we talk about
<v Speaker 1>the best things that happened to us over the past month.
<v Speaker 2>So over June. What was the best thing that happened
<v Speaker 2>to you in the month of June. I'm totally putting
<v Speaker 2>you on the spot. It can be something big, maybe
<v Speaker 2>a good meal that you had.
<v Speaker 12>I went to uh m, trying to think only camping.
<v Speaker 5>Camp we go?
<v Speaker 2>You got out of nature?
<v Speaker 3>Where'd you go camping? Jason?
<v Speaker 8>Up? Pretty close to fair Play?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, never heard of it. Well, good for you, Jason.
<v Speaker 2>I'm just jumping. See. That's the kind of.
<v Speaker 1>Stuff we're looking for, so feel good Fridays just we
<v Speaker 1>just want to feel good.
<v Speaker 3>That's a great example.
<v Speaker 2>Like we're out camping, like we're pooping.
<v Speaker 8>In a hole with some people from work.
<v Speaker 2>So it was funny, you got to know them better.
<v Speaker 3>Perfect, that's perfect, So good Jason.
<v Speaker 1>All right, j Bone, let's do some fast five with you.
<v Speaker 1>Your letter is, oh, give me five brands, any brands
<v Speaker 1>that start with that letter.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, go.
<v Speaker 8>Oreo, oatmeal or we.
<v Speaker 12>Omega fiber and.
<v Speaker 2>Buzzer hit. And I don't know if I could just
<v Speaker 2>accept what do you say, oatmeal?
<v Speaker 3>We don't know. Maybe there's an oatmeal somewhere there.
<v Speaker 1>Well, buzzer hit. Anyway, buddy, it didn't win, but you
<v Speaker 1>have a great weekend. Okay, thank you, bye, buddy, Roger. Roger, Hi, Roger,
<v Speaker 1>howdy duty, little cutie.
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing quite well. And so, oh buddy, we're super dupes.
<v Speaker 2>We are. So what was the best part of your month?
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, this month, I'd share reading my book.
<v Speaker 2>To get out my book again.
<v Speaker 3>I'm learning to.
<v Speaker 2>Oh your phone cut out? You're learning to what? Write
<v Speaker 2>some music? Oh that's a post music I feel good Friday.
<v Speaker 2>That's amazing, good man.
<v Speaker 1>Well you see you could have participated a little later,
<v Speaker 1>but now you don't have to.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, we got your vote.
<v Speaker 2>All right, Roger. Are you still with us? Roger?
<v Speaker 1>That your letter is Oh, I need five brands, any
<v Speaker 1>brands that start with the letter.
<v Speaker 2>O, go.
<v Speaker 9>Oreo, lollipop.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my goodness, come on.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, for God's sake, Roger, get back to your music.
<v Speaker 2>Have a great weekend. Hey, Yeah, y'all take care of
<v Speaker 2>Thank you, Marcia. Marcia, we're not playing yet.

<v Speaker 2>You were practicing. What were you practicing?
<v Speaker 1>I love it doing the brands with Oh I heard
<v Speaker 1>Olive Garden in the background.
<v Speaker 12>Yes, I was practicing, getting my brain going.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, well, you can't cheat? No help? All right, no help?
<v Speaker 2>Who is that in the background.
<v Speaker 9>That's my friend Sarah.
<v Speaker 12>You guys know us, we're friends.
<v Speaker 9>We go way back to like two weeks ago when
<v Speaker 9>he came to our work.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, you've already won something from us. You gotta wait
<v Speaker 1>a little bit a while before you win again.
<v Speaker 2>You know that, right. It's like.
<v Speaker 13>Sad for you.
<v Speaker 1>Oh sure, well that you can't play today because you
<v Speaker 1>just won from us.
<v Speaker 2>But it was nice talking to you.
<v Speaker 9>Oh man, Well, Josh, let me talk to Josh.
<v Speaker 1>All right, hold on, I'll put you on holding you
<v Speaker 1>talk to Josh. Hy Here, Marcia, you got free pizza
<v Speaker 1>from us?
<v Speaker 2>Is it? Eva? Eva?
<v Speaker 3>Eva?
<v Speaker 2>E hi eva?
<v Speaker 1>Good morning, Happy Friday. Can we can we wrap this up?
<v Speaker 1>Can we hurry up and win this? I got things
<v Speaker 1>to do?
<v Speaker 2>My god? You ready?
<v Speaker 11>I hope?
<v Speaker 3>So here we go? Eva? You got this?
<v Speaker 2>Eva?
<v Speaker 1>No help, no cheating? All right, Jack, I don't think
<v Speaker 1>you can hear me very well? Can you hear me?
<v Speaker 1>She's for God's sakes, will somebody will? I'm about ready
<v Speaker 1>to do my own fast five I'll do it.
<v Speaker 2>All right, can't hear it? Jody?
<v Speaker 1>Hello, Jody? Why is everybody so confused?
<v Speaker 2>Jody? Jody?
<v Speaker 13>Hey, Harry stop, I'm here.
<v Speaker 2>Are you ready, Jody, Jody, I'm getting here.
<v Speaker 8>I'm so ready.
<v Speaker 3>She's ready, Jeremy, Jody.
<v Speaker 2>In ten seconds, give me five characters from the TV
<v Speaker 2>show Friends go.
<v Speaker 13>Oh my gosh, Rachel Marca, Joey, Taylor Ross.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah she did, Jody Joy, Jody, Yes, you're all excited.
<v Speaker 2>Do you have plans?
<v Speaker 8>Just did it? Quick?
<v Speaker 2>Dy? Jody? Do you have plans tonight?
<v Speaker 8>No?
<v Speaker 2>I do not you do now because you just won? Now?
<v Speaker 2>What do you need to do when you win this game?
<v Speaker 8>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>My god?
<v Speaker 11>Look quick right, because I'm so cloud.
<v Speaker 2>Oh say, Jeremy, play the winning win sound, Jemy, play
<v Speaker 2>the winning winning winter. Okay, that's fine, close enough. For
<v Speaker 2>God's sake, it's the game that would never end today.
<v Speaker 13>I've been trying all week too, have you.
<v Speaker 1>I love how excited you are, and I'm glad you
<v Speaker 1>don't have plans tonight because you're going to Empower Field
<v Speaker 1>to go see Usher and Chris Brown.
<v Speaker 13>Oh my gosh, that's so exciting.
<v Speaker 11>My daughter is going to be stoked.
<v Speaker 2>Excellent.
<v Speaker 1>We are very happy for you, Jody. I'm gonna put
<v Speaker 1>you on hold. We'll come back and tell you about
<v Speaker 1>that prize.
<v Speaker 2>Dang, that was a long one today.
<v Speaker 6>He was.
<v Speaker 8>Jarreny Katy and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>I got a whole stack of just odds and ends
<v Speaker 1>nonsense that we just need to chat about.
<v Speaker 14>Uh.
<v Speaker 1>It is definitely swimming season. And here's a question for
<v Speaker 1>everybody listening. Do you shower before you get into a pool?
<v Speaker 4>Uh?
<v Speaker 1>Specifically a public pool, says this story, But I think
<v Speaker 1>this would probably go for any pool.
<v Speaker 2>I Uh, well, one, I don't get in pools.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, you're against them because the word.
<v Speaker 1>Pooh is in pools, So I don't. An online poll
<v Speaker 1>was split. People were about fifty to fifty whether or
<v Speaker 1>not you should rinse off before you get in or
<v Speaker 1>if you just go cannonball get on in there. So
<v Speaker 1>the biggest factor is one you should be doing it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it helps keep the pool clean. Yeah, that's what I thought.
<v Speaker 1>If you don't shower or rinse off all the dirt
<v Speaker 1>and grime that's on you, including sweat, body oils, any
<v Speaker 1>lotion products that you have on you.
<v Speaker 2>Guess where that's going.
<v Speaker 1>Right in the pool, you're gonna have a little oil
<v Speaker 1>slick around you while you're hanging out at water World.
<v Speaker 3>Nobody likes that.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody wants an oil slick around them at all.
<v Speaker 1>And they're also saying, I've never heard this before. Then
<v Speaker 1>it really protects your hair. And here's a pool expert
<v Speaker 1>talking about.
<v Speaker 15>By rinsing off before it allows the pools to stay clean.
<v Speaker 15>The hair follicles in your hair actually absorb fresh water,
<v Speaker 15>not the chlorine water, so it's actually an.
<v Speaker 2>Extra layer of protection for your hair. When you come.
<v Speaker 15>Out, you have still a little bit of chlorine in
<v Speaker 15>your hair, so you want to make sure you wash
<v Speaker 15>it out, rinse it off as well as rinse your
<v Speaker 15>body off to get the chlorine off.
<v Speaker 2>Is that Paul Mitchell or something Hauly.
<v Speaker 4>Makes sense though, because I will tell you when I
<v Speaker 4>get out of a pool, if I don't have some
<v Speaker 4>kind of cap over my hair, it is so dry
<v Speaker 4>and brittlely and it just is no okay, So this
<v Speaker 4>is some good advice. As far as protecting it, Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I dig that. And I always how you were supposed
<v Speaker 4>to rinse off before you got in the pool, Like
<v Speaker 4>I remember in my hometo on the little city pool
<v Speaker 4>that I went to, they had showers. You had the
<v Speaker 4>locker room, and then you had the showers, and then
<v Speaker 4>you had to pool, and you had to go through
<v Speaker 4>each step.
<v Speaker 2>Just like urinate shower.
<v Speaker 3>Pool, exactly like you had to do one before you
<v Speaker 3>did the other. You don't want to urinate in the pool.
<v Speaker 2>Well, a lot of people just go right to pool
<v Speaker 2>and urinate.
<v Speaker 3>I know you're not supposed to do that.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of times I'm not even in the pool.
<v Speaker 2>I just stand on the edge and go in and
<v Speaker 2>pee it.
<v Speaker 3>See it's na anyway.
<v Speaker 1>I've never heard that when you wash your hair beforehand,
<v Speaker 1>it absorbs clean water and then it doesn't absorb as
<v Speaker 1>much chlorine water.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I like that.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 1>Now you're updated on everything pool related this morning. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I got another story for you. It has to do
<v Speaker 1>with gummy worms.
<v Speaker 4>This is what I'm afraid of because I love the
<v Speaker 4>very important news.
<v Speaker 2>I guess Trader Joe's has some banging gummy way do it?
<v Speaker 2>Now you're really really good. There's all sorts of food
<v Speaker 2>influencers trying these gummy worms right now, and there's like
<v Speaker 2>unique texture to them. They smell like like a birthday cake.
<v Speaker 2>Apparently they're very appealing, very appetizing. Now the only problem
<v Speaker 2>is a single serving of eight gummy worms. Did I
<v Speaker 2>say bears earlier gummy worms?
<v Speaker 5>Is?
<v Speaker 2>Gummy worms contain a whopping fourteen grams of dietary fiber.
<v Speaker 2>How many? How many servings are in a bag? Maybe
<v Speaker 2>that makes total sense?
<v Speaker 4>Now, actually, here's they that makes total sense.
<v Speaker 2>Let me put this into perspective. One serving of metamucial
<v Speaker 2>fibergummies contains five grams of fiber, and that'll get your rocking.
<v Speaker 1>These gummy worms, which are highly addictive and delicious at
<v Speaker 1>Trader Joe's. Fourteen grams of fiber per serving, let's say
<v Speaker 1>four servings per bag. People are comparing it to the
<v Speaker 1>medicine that you take before a colonoscopy. One person says,
<v Speaker 1>I ate a serving and a half and confirmed, and
<v Speaker 1>I can confirm it cleans you out fast.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, it does.
<v Speaker 3>It's so funny.
<v Speaker 4>I just tried these gummy worms and now I feel
<v Speaker 4>way better about myself.
<v Speaker 2>I know I'm skinny. One commenter said, I ate several
<v Speaker 2>handfuls and my stomach has been a wreck for days.
<v Speaker 3>Gotta be careful about this stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so read the label. Why would Trader Joe's do
<v Speaker 2>us dirty? Like that?
<v Speaker 3>Literally dirty?
<v Speaker 2>Somebody else said, fiber be working overtime in these worms.
<v Speaker 3>But they're so good, they're so hard to put down.
<v Speaker 3>That's the thing is. It's like I.
<v Speaker 1>Watched the video this morning from a TikToker that was
<v Speaker 1>trying these. She's just sitting in her cars like I'm
<v Speaker 1>trying these new viable gummy worms. She had no idea,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and I'm just laughing. She's like, oh these
<v Speaker 1>are good, all these tasty and she's doing like nine, ten,
<v Speaker 1>eleven gummy worms.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, oh no, she doesn't know, no, she does.
<v Speaker 3>About to find out though, all.
<v Speaker 1>Right, So Peyton wrote in on the text line, she says,
<v Speaker 1>I was out running some errands one day.
<v Speaker 2>Trader Joe's was one of my stops. I grabbed those
<v Speaker 2>gummy worms, munching on them while I was running errands.
<v Speaker 2>I ended up getting stuck on I twenty five traffic Jerre.
<v Speaker 2>I was fighting for my life is what she wrote.
<v Speaker 3>Poor Peyton.
<v Speaker 2>Oh god, yeah, those things sound like they take effects pretty.
<v Speaker 3>Darn fast, almost instantly.
<v Speaker 4>And I think again, I'm just so grateful for that
<v Speaker 4>information now, because really, you know, I.
<v Speaker 1>Like to provide public service. Good on you, j I
<v Speaker 1>got one more funny story for you guys. It has
<v Speaker 1>to do with our buddy Big Rob, who comes on
<v Speaker 1>after us each and every day.
<v Speaker 2>Good guy. We love Big Rob. So we've teamed up
<v Speaker 2>with Elich Gardens.
<v Speaker 1>We're doing a lot with Elitches this summer, and one
<v Speaker 1>of the things they're doing for.
<v Speaker 2>Us, which is very cool, is they're like.
<v Speaker 1>Essentially decorating the entire theme park with mixed one hundred
<v Speaker 1>banners and slogans, and there's giant.
<v Speaker 2>Pictures of all of us up at Elish Gardens, which
<v Speaker 2>is pretty neat for us. Yeah, kind of cool, you know.
<v Speaker 3>Nice little local place.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly love it.
<v Speaker 1>So he sent me a picture yesterday because he stopped
<v Speaker 1>by to check out some of the banners and stuff
<v Speaker 1>that they put up, and by some of the swimming
<v Speaker 1>areas out there, they've got like these giant like sheds
<v Speaker 1>looking things, and there's like three or four of them
<v Speaker 1>sitting there and one of them is a big banner
<v Speaker 1>of Nina that says, listen to Nina afternoons, Mix one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>It's really nice boom front and center. And then there's
<v Speaker 1>us next to Nina, okay, JKJ in the morning, have
<v Speaker 1>some morning lasts. And then next to us is a
<v Speaker 1>banner of Big Rob and a giant boy in front
<v Speaker 1>of the shed in front of his banner.
<v Speaker 3>Oh oh no.
<v Speaker 2>And he sent me a picture yesterday and I saw
<v Speaker 2>it and I was like.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god. I started laughing. I had tears in
<v Speaker 1>my eyes because it's like Nina, jk J, Big Rob
<v Speaker 1>behind a bush.
<v Speaker 4>It's like the monster's ink.
<v Speaker 2>I was thinking of.
<v Speaker 1>Wilson from the old school TV shows, like you see
<v Speaker 1>It's like, oh, you don't see Big Robin all.
<v Speaker 2>So I told him, I was like, do you think
<v Speaker 2>you could sneak some like bush trimmers in there?
<v Speaker 3>I know the bright we need to some product place.
<v Speaker 2>You gotta trim the bush.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, Jerry, Katie and Josh one hundred. Oh.
<v Speaker 1>There's always just every day, so much crap and nonsense
<v Speaker 1>that we're reading on social media. Everybody's mad at each other,
<v Speaker 1>everybody's down in the dumb, and we try to fight
<v Speaker 1>that a little bit with something that we call feel
<v Speaker 1>Good Friday, where we take the final Friday every month.
<v Speaker 2>And have people call in and tell us.
<v Speaker 1>All the good stuff that happened to them over the month. So,
<v Speaker 1>if you want to participate in feel Good Friday three
<v Speaker 1>oh three six nine one one mix three oh three
<v Speaker 1>six nine one, sixteen forty nine, I would love it
<v Speaker 1>if you called right now. I would encourage you to call.
<v Speaker 1>Let's let's spread some smiles, some love, some joy. Three
<v Speaker 1>oh three six nine one, sixteen forty nine. Now here's
<v Speaker 1>the thing with feel Good Friday as well. It doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have to be something huge, like you made partner. You
<v Speaker 1>don't have to tell us that. Yeah, well, it can
<v Speaker 1>be something small, you know, like a meal that you had.
<v Speaker 3>Or you cleaned your whole house, right, Like that's a
<v Speaker 3>good feeling.
<v Speaker 10>Sure?
<v Speaker 2>Why not? Yeah, it's your life, it's your world.
<v Speaker 4>Whatever, put the biggest smile on your face. That's what
<v Speaker 4>we want to hear about, right.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, even something that happened with your kiddos, your parents, anything.
<v Speaker 1>Will accept anything, but it only works if you call in.
<v Speaker 2>So don't be scared. We're very nice. We're nice people.
<v Speaker 3>They want to talk to you. We want to hear
<v Speaker 3>about your good stuff.
<v Speaker 1>And I know there's like a million people listening right now.
<v Speaker 1>So call us three O three six nine one one mix,
<v Speaker 1>which is three three six nine.
<v Speaker 2>One sixteen forty nine. Think back over the past twenty
<v Speaker 2>six days and be like, what was something that really
<v Speaker 2>was good in my life? Katie? How about you?
<v Speaker 4>I would have to say my new car that I bought,
<v Speaker 4>my new old car from the nineteen hundreds.
<v Speaker 3>It is perfect, good car. I love it so much.
<v Speaker 3>And the best part.
<v Speaker 4>About it is, you know car guys, right, you are
<v Speaker 4>a car guy, Jeremy, Josh, you like cars as well.
<v Speaker 4>And when I roll up and people see my car,
<v Speaker 4>they're also impressed.
<v Speaker 2>Like, wow, look at you. I tell I know. It's
<v Speaker 2>like when you got it, you were so happy.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah I was, and well in the deal I got
<v Speaker 4>also made me happy on top of it.
<v Speaker 3>So there are so many good things that you know,
<v Speaker 3>are with this car.
<v Speaker 4>And I'm just even driving it around now like it
<v Speaker 4>puts the biggest smile on my face.
<v Speaker 3>So and I gave it a name. Do you want
<v Speaker 3>to hear my?
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, it's your name.
<v Speaker 3>It's Cookie.
<v Speaker 2>Cookie Cash helped me with that actually Cookie.
<v Speaker 3>It was going to be cook them because that's chip
<v Speaker 3>Awa for Grandma.
<v Speaker 4>That's what I called my grandma. But then he'd said,
<v Speaker 4>what about Cookie. I'm like like Cookie. So Car's name's
<v Speaker 4>Cookie and I love her.
<v Speaker 1>And no joke, guys, she puts a club on it.
<v Speaker 1>There's a club like old school.
<v Speaker 3>That's the Fice Club.
<v Speaker 2>So funny line full lines are ringing. I love you, guys.
<v Speaker 1>Come on, let's spread some joy and some smiles on
<v Speaker 1>a Friday. Yeah, let's push all the craft to the
<v Speaker 1>side that we're reading on Facebook.
<v Speaker 2>It's probably AI.
<v Speaker 1>Anyway, I get out of here, I to hear ay,
<v Speaker 1>I slap Okay. So, as of right now, I've got
<v Speaker 1>one open phone line if you want to call in
<v Speaker 1>for Feel Good Friday three oh three six nine to one,
<v Speaker 1>sixteen forty nine. We're just talking about the little things
<v Speaker 1>that happened to you over the past twenty six days
<v Speaker 1>the month of June that were really special to you, big, small, medium, whatever.

<v Speaker 9>collector cuser nine dollars.
<v Speaker 11>That niet big mash.
<v Speaker 1>Your highlight of the month is McDonald's collectors cuffs.
<v Speaker 2>You know what why? It's bringing your joy.
<v Speaker 3>That's fine exactly.
<v Speaker 9>That is living some ways.
<v Speaker 2>That's what I'm hoping.
<v Speaker 10>He's been talking about it, and I'm like, I love you.
<v Speaker 10>I'm not spending ninety dollars for collector cups at McDonald's.

<v Speaker 13>my twins through the National Charity League, and we just
<v Speaker 13>started this beginning of June and we've done a couple
<v Speaker 13>of volunteer events, one at the Gabriel Foundation out in
<v Speaker 13>the is a bit volunteering for a bird sanctuary, and
<v Speaker 13>then recently for Hyline Scamber, and it's been so much
<v Speaker 13>fun to see how much joy they have in their
<v Speaker 13>hearts for serving their community and being parted something. And
<v Speaker 13>they just had such a blast.
<v Speaker 2>So that's really you're raising a couple of good humans
<v Speaker 2>right there.
<v Speaker 3>Just warmed mind.
<v Speaker 2>Trying hard hard and Katie loves birds.
<v Speaker 3>I love I think it's.
<v Speaker 13>You should go out there. It's crazy. They have like
<v Speaker 13>over two hundred some birds. They like have really fancy
<v Speaker 13>food for them. It's like farmer's dog for birds. It's
<v Speaker 13>the funniest thing. But yeah, it's so good.
<v Speaker 1>I was just talking on the show the other day
<v Speaker 1>that I feel like I'm becoming an old man because
<v Speaker 1>I went out on my back patio on a Saturday
<v Speaker 1>morning having a cup of coffee and I was just
<v Speaker 1>sitting there listening to the birds and watching them fly around,
<v Speaker 1>and I had the best time of my morning, of
<v Speaker 1>my life that morning.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I was like, this is really cute. It's fascinating.
<v Speaker 2>I like birds.
<v Speaker 13>There are some birds of characters there for sure. There
<v Speaker 13>is one that if you go and make the rock
<v Speaker 13>on sound and goes rock, that make.
<v Speaker 3>Me happy too.
<v Speaker 2>So this is this is really good, Tessa.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you so much for calling in this morning and
<v Speaker 1>sounding off.
<v Speaker 2>For Feel Good Friday. Very very much appreciated. Here is Samantha. Hi, Samantha,
<v Speaker 2>good morning. So what made you feel good in the
<v Speaker 2>month of June?
<v Speaker 7>Girlfriend, I just got back from vacation.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, very good. Where'd you go?
<v Speaker 7>So?
<v Speaker 12>We did a road trip Vegas, calie Reno and came
<v Speaker 12>back through Utah and the Wyoming.
<v Speaker 4>Oh so you drove all the way through all these
<v Speaker 4>spots we did?
<v Speaker 10>Yeahn yes?
<v Speaker 3>What was your favorite part about it?
<v Speaker 8>I went to my first Dodger game, so that was
<v Speaker 8>pretty cool.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, got the show Hay pitching?
<v Speaker 2>There you go.
<v Speaker 3>Did you get to see show Hay pitch?
<v Speaker 8>Yes? Yes they did.
<v Speaker 2>Car Yeah, that's.
<v Speaker 1>I got a question for you two. What was the
<v Speaker 1>best road trip food that you had? What was the
<v Speaker 1>best thing you snacked on?
<v Speaker 8>Oh?
<v Speaker 12>I get those sweetheart chewies still around one.
<v Speaker 1>Not mad at that at all, Not mad at that
<v Speaker 1>at all. That's what we're talking about, Samantha. Thank you
<v Speaker 1>so much for.
<v Speaker 2>I was trying to think of mine and a pretty.
<v Speaker 1>Couple special moments this month with my son. I took
<v Speaker 1>him out for the first time.
<v Speaker 2>And let him drive, which was a lot of fun,
<v Speaker 2>Like the first time, got him behind the wheel, and
<v Speaker 2>it was special, you know, to see him kind of
<v Speaker 2>freak out being behind a car wheel.
<v Speaker 3>Because we all remember, I know, right, that's so good
<v Speaker 3>for you.
<v Speaker 2>It was really good.
<v Speaker 1>That was a cool It was just me and him too,
<v Speaker 1>great father son time. And then the other thing is
<v Speaker 1>is he bought a brand new e bike with his
<v Speaker 1>own money he's.
<v Speaker 2>Been saving up. It was like seven hundred bucks or something.
<v Speaker 2>And then him and I got in the garage and
<v Speaker 2>put the damn thing together for an hour.
<v Speaker 4>There working on cars in the garage instead we're putting
<v Speaker 4>the bikes together.
<v Speaker 2>Very special father son moment. Hi, Debbie, good morning, Well,
<v Speaker 2>good morning to you. It's feel good Friday. What was
<v Speaker 2>the best part of your month.
<v Speaker 11>I got to fly back to Portland, Oregon, pick up
<v Speaker 11>one of my four year old grandsons and fly him
<v Speaker 11>back to Colorado for some special time just about him.
<v Speaker 2>Oh wow. And we're a pilot too. That's awesome.
<v Speaker 11>I know to gad I really was, and it saved
<v Speaker 11>me a lot of money.
<v Speaker 2>Right, what kind of things did you guys do together?
<v Speaker 11>We went to the zoo and we said that giraffe
<v Speaker 11>and we pet the steam rays and he slept a lot.
<v Speaker 11>I think the altitude got to him.
<v Speaker 1>Well, that's actually great because you had some fun and
<v Speaker 1>then you went home and he just slept the rest
<v Speaker 1>of the day.
<v Speaker 11>So exactly, there's two four year olds. I did one
<v Speaker 11>in May, one in June, and next month I bring
<v Speaker 11>an eight year old out.
<v Speaker 2>Ah, you're such a good grandma.
<v Speaker 5>You are I am.
<v Speaker 4>I have to say, like I remember, like staying with
<v Speaker 4>the grandma was like a highlight for all the grandkids.
<v Speaker 3>I know you're doing them a solid. They're gonna remember
<v Speaker 3>this their whole life.
<v Speaker 2>Debbie, that's a great one. Thank you for calling in.
<v Speaker 2>Here's Tiffany, Hi.
<v Speaker 3>Tiff tiff Hello, Hello.
<v Speaker 2>All right, feel good Friday. What was your feel good
<v Speaker 2>part of June?
<v Speaker 12>My daughter made me a grandma for the first time.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, another grandma.
<v Speaker 1>So many grand we should just call this Grandma Friday.
<v Speaker 2>So what's the little baby's name?
<v Speaker 12>Ann Alie, Oh, how keen, And.
<v Speaker 3>It's your first grandchild, so you're like super excited.
<v Speaker 1>Huh, yes, that's cute. All right, well, thank you for
<v Speaker 1>calling grandma. That's a good one.
<v Speaker 2>Hi, Linda, Hello, did you become a grandma too?
<v Speaker 7>I did not.
<v Speaker 14>Think that'd be hard since I don't have children.
<v Speaker 2>That would be very difficult. That would be very unique.
<v Speaker 2>We'll call that unique Friday. All right, So what was
<v Speaker 2>the best part of June for you?
<v Speaker 14>I went to peter Rappids, Iowa and ran a half marathon.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, good for you when you're strong.
<v Speaker 14>Half marathon?
<v Speaker 3>Whoa damn? How long is a half marathon? Again?
<v Speaker 14>Thirteen point one?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that is a lot?
<v Speaker 3>Is so impressive.
<v Speaker 14>And I ran my first one. I ran my first
<v Speaker 14>one the day after I turned sixty two. Okay, oh
<v Speaker 14>and then yeah, no, I'm sixty eight and I'm still
<v Speaker 14>out there.
<v Speaker 3>It's there. Fifth one.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, we're very impressed. I get winded walking up the
<v Speaker 2>stairs sometimes.
<v Speaker 3>I know running it's hard.
<v Speaker 4>I actually and I can only do two miles at
<v Speaker 4>a time. So for you thirteen and a half miles,
<v Speaker 4>we are in epressed.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah for calling in all right, I'm gonna try to
<v Speaker 1>sneak one more in before we got to get to
<v Speaker 1>the break.
<v Speaker 2>Is it Maine?
<v Speaker 12>Yes, Hi Maine.
<v Speaker 1>Feel Good Friday, tell us something good that happened over
<v Speaker 1>the past month.
<v Speaker 12>I was just alerted that after being six months with
<v Speaker 12>my company, I have been promoted.
<v Speaker 3>After just six months.
<v Speaker 8>Smell you and I'm one of the youngest texts there.
<v Speaker 2>What do you do?
<v Speaker 14>I'm a now a leaf flebottomis so I go around
<v Speaker 14>to nursing homes and I drop people's blood.
<v Speaker 2>Oh good, fantastic, congratulations and the lead flebottomus a break
<v Speaker 2>on your business card. I knew a lot about vain placements.
<v Speaker 3>That is awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Congratulations, yay for me, Thank you for calling in. Oh
<v Speaker 1>that's a good group of people, Josh, really quep. We
<v Speaker 1>gotta get to a break. What was your best part?
<v Speaker 6>Probably my birthday felt very loved and appreciated. So that
<v Speaker 6>was very nice.
<v Speaker 2>You go you hey guys, good news. We'll do it
<v Speaker 2>all again next month. Feel Good Friday with JK.
<v Speaker 1>Time for a very quick, mixed one hundred sports report.
<v Speaker 2>What you got?
<v Speaker 5>All right, We're gonna blast through this. The World Cup
<v Speaker 5>has been going on. USA played last night. We're about
<v Speaker 5>halfway through it. Now, we still got about two weeks
<v Speaker 5>left to go, and there have been so many mimable
<v Speaker 5>and viral things that have happened. At the match last
<v Speaker 5>night in USA taken where they lost that match unfortunately
<v Speaker 5>against Turkey, Edward Norton and Brad Pitt they were there
<v Speaker 5>and it's funny because they were sitting next to each
<v Speaker 5>other and a lot of fight club references I'm made
<v Speaker 5>as they were like, oh, Edward Norton's sitting there with
<v Speaker 5>himself and all that stuff.
<v Speaker 2>So that was funny.
<v Speaker 6>Unfortunately USA did lose.
<v Speaker 5>But the funny thing about the World Cup now is
<v Speaker 5>so many people have come over here. Americans are learning
<v Speaker 5>so much about other cultures and even soccer itself. Google
<v Speaker 5>has been flying off the charts and some of the
<v Speaker 5>things that have been the most googled things so far
<v Speaker 5>have been like, hey, is soccer actually called football? Because
<v Speaker 5>we as Americans we have our own version of football.
<v Speaker 5>All the Europeans that have come over are like, what
<v Speaker 5>are you calling a soccer fut it is? You're right good, Joe, Katie,
<v Speaker 5>look good, you culture queen over there. And then the
<v Speaker 5>number two thing is ranch an American thing. All the
<v Speaker 5>Europeans here have been obsessed with ranch and they want
<v Speaker 5>to know if they can bring it back to Europe
<v Speaker 5>because apparently they have nothing like it over there. And
<v Speaker 5>just remember, if you're a European, listen to the JKJ
<v Speaker 5>Morning Show. You gotta you cannot bring it out your
<v Speaker 5>carry on, Okay, you gotta pack that thing because it's
<v Speaker 5>considered a gel I guess by the TSA, which makes
<v Speaker 5>it sound so much more unhealthy.
<v Speaker 2>That's disgusting.
<v Speaker 5>And then the last thing that I think is the
<v Speaker 5>funniest thing being googled on here is a lot of
<v Speaker 5>the soccer players like to warm up without a shirt on.
<v Speaker 6>It's already hot here.
<v Speaker 5>They just like to get a good warm up going
<v Speaker 5>and they wear a monitor, but it really does look
<v Speaker 5>like a sports bra, and so Americans all over are
<v Speaker 5>asking why are they wearing sports bra?
<v Speaker 6>So that's the number five thing googled here.
<v Speaker 5>And it's not a sports bra, people, it's a heart
<v Speaker 5>monitor and it checks like all all the you know,
<v Speaker 5>laps you've ran or anything like that. How many steps
<v Speaker 5>you get in, Katie, You're a big steps girl, right,
<v Speaker 5>I am got to get those steps in. So no,
<v Speaker 5>Americans are not running around here in their sports bras
<v Speaker 5>and just you know, and showing up.
<v Speaker 6>The exactly the pink pink sports bras, right, Katie.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, that's interesting though, clearing a lot of stuff up
<v Speaker 4>because I don't know a lot about the World Cup.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Same apparently no Americans, no sports bras.
<v Speaker 3>Mile high hype on mixed one hundred starts.
<v Speaker 1>Now, just a heads up. Today is National take your
<v Speaker 1>Dog to Work Day, and oddly enough, it's also National
<v Speaker 1>Safer Workplace.
<v Speaker 2>Day today, so be careful out there. Okay, don't step
<v Speaker 2>on any little doggies, all right.
<v Speaker 1>The NYPD, they say they're a little skeptical that Taite
<v Speaker 1>is actually going to have her wedding at Madison Square
<v Speaker 1>Garden over the fourth of July. Essentially, a lot of
<v Speaker 1>the police officers are saying that she's a glamorous girl, she.
<v Speaker 2>Would never get married. Here is the quote. But then
<v Speaker 2>a lot of people are saying, you know what, she's
<v Speaker 2>a billionaire, so she could pretty much transform that entire
<v Speaker 2>venue however she wants.
<v Speaker 3>I think it's part of it.
<v Speaker 4>I think she's trying to get people to think she's
<v Speaker 4>not gonna have it there, so they'll start sniffing around
<v Speaker 4>elsewhere so she can have it there the whole time
<v Speaker 4>because it has everything she needs, so much security. They
<v Speaker 4>can park down underneath the windows.
<v Speaker 3>Well, there's like she's.
<v Speaker 4>Really concerned with people taking pictures and releasing them before
<v Speaker 4>she does. Yeah this out, you know, Well they can't
<v Speaker 4>do that there. There's no windows, there's no way to
<v Speaker 4>get in unless you're in.
<v Speaker 2>I guess we're just gonna have to wait and see.
<v Speaker 2>I know the suspense is killing me. It is killing
<v Speaker 2>me too.
<v Speaker 1>Katie Dolly Parton has her first ever truck stop that
<v Speaker 1>she opened up in Tennessee.
<v Speaker 2>It sounds very familiar. It sounds exactly like a Bucky's
<v Speaker 2>essentially a lot of gas pumps, charging stations, and then
<v Speaker 2>a restaurant, some grabbing go barbecue, coffee shop, a trucker's lounge.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah hmmm. I was suspicious when she released the Dolly.
<v Speaker 4>Nugget, so I was like, wait a second, that's too closed,
<v Speaker 4>really big, oversized, I.
<v Speaker 2>Would think, So.
<v Speaker 1>You get to them, and then finally I gotta give
<v Speaker 1>you since we just did Feel Good Friday. This is
<v Speaker 1>a sweet little story coming out of Tennessee as well.
<v Speaker 1>There's a senior living community out there that just hosted
<v Speaker 1>an awesome event.
<v Speaker 2>Where residents took part in a giant slip and slide
<v Speaker 2>day before you.
<v Speaker 3>Freak out, it's freaking out.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, they weren't actually running and jumping on there as
<v Speaker 2>seniors like, oh, I'm just going to break break.
<v Speaker 3>I broke my hip. They can't have fund.
<v Speaker 1>They What they do is they put like an inner
<v Speaker 1>tube on the giant piece of plastic with like ropes
<v Speaker 1>attached to it, so they let the seniors sit in
<v Speaker 1>the inner tube. They grab the ropes and then run
<v Speaker 1>along with them and just pull them along. But listen
<v Speaker 1>to the audio and how happy they are.
<v Speaker 15>We created this giant slipping slide.
<v Speaker 8>They're going for a great ride as fast as we
<v Speaker 8>can to.
<v Speaker 15>Murphy's where a fire department comes out and they hose
<v Speaker 15>it down and they helped to assist the seniors on
<v Speaker 15>and off the tube.
<v Speaker 3>I can follow in to it.
<v Speaker 6>This is crazy, it's fun.
<v Speaker 15>And then they get to ride down on the tubes
<v Speaker 15>like like they get to be a kid again.
<v Speaker 3>We call it the ride in Fly because I just
<v Speaker 3>had the times from my last.
<v Speaker 2>They slid me right into the pearlegate.
<v Speaker 4>So so excited and I could follow to it. I
<v Speaker 4>can't imagine they're excitement if they were going at full speed.
<v Speaker 3>So maybe it's a better ship along slash fell out.
<v Speaker 3>They're so happy, they are so happy, I'm telling you.
<v Speaker 2>When you watched the video, there's these little old dudes
<v Speaker 2>in straight up jeans and tucked in dress shirts sitting
<v Speaker 2>on their little inner tube like getting zipped down like
<v Speaker 2>little old guys do.
<v Speaker 10>Great ride.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, timamana, I'm so glad show shaf They want to
<v Speaker 3>have fun too, got me right in a grave. Careful
<v Speaker 3>with all the.
<v Speaker 1>Fun you're having though, Okay, if you're gonna go out,
<v Speaker 1>that's the way you go out right for real.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not even joking. Dig a hole in the ground
<v Speaker 2>for me. Line up a slipping slide that goes right in.
<v Speaker 3>That's how you want it.
<v Speaker 2>That's how I want it to end, doesn't how bad?
<v Speaker 2>Not too shat.
<v Speaker 3>I'd like to sign up for that as well. Here come,
<v Speaker 3>I would like that package.
<v Speaker 2>Alright, I talked way too much. Give me a couple
<v Speaker 2>quick ones.
<v Speaker 3>Well, let's do just the fun.
<v Speaker 4>One down at Shyane Mountain Zoo because they have two new.
<v Speaker 3>Baby grizzly bears. Exactly.
<v Speaker 4>I'm not excited to do h these they joined the
<v Speaker 4>two twenty something year old bears already there, so Emmett
<v Speaker 4>and Digger have been at the zoo since two thousand
<v Speaker 4>and seven. That's also almost the last time the Shine
<v Speaker 4>Mountain Zoo got little Grizzly bears that were orphaned cubs.
<v Speaker 4>Oh their mama had to be euthanized. But again they
<v Speaker 4>brought these cubs to Shine Mountain Zoo. They're going to
<v Speaker 4>be out of the guests view and his quarantine period's
<v Speaker 4>going to help them adjust, right, so it helps them
<v Speaker 4>with their examinations of vaccinations and the necessary medications, and
<v Speaker 4>it also helps protect the other zoo animals. So they
<v Speaker 4>are going to introduce the little baby Grizzly bears and
<v Speaker 4>Emmett and Digger. They'll be behind a fence so they
<v Speaker 4>won't be able to get to each other, but they'll
<v Speaker 4>be able to get to know each other a little bit.
<v Speaker 4>You gonna say, so cute, and you won't be able
<v Speaker 4>to see them in Rocky Mountain Wild for many weeks
<v Speaker 4>just because again the acclamation period. They don't have names
<v Speaker 4>for him yet and they haven't even released the sexes,
<v Speaker 4>but their adoor.
<v Speaker 2>They're really cute. They're so cute. Oh my goodness.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, a couple new little Berry nanas at the
<v Speaker 4>China Mountain Zoo.
<v Speaker 3>So that's exciting.
<v Speaker 2>Oh that's cute. All right, well there's a really quick
<v Speaker 2>mile high hype.
<v Speaker 3>It's you versus a Katie.
<v Speaker 5>Unless your brain runs on TikTok reality TV and Red
<v Speaker 5>Carbon Drama.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, you might already be too.
<v Speaker 3>Let's play Katie Crush on mixed.
<v Speaker 1>Oh it is definitely time to play this silly game.
<v Speaker 1>It's Michelle who just joining us?
<v Speaker 8>Hi?
<v Speaker 1>Michelle, Heygrey Bibby, what are you doing today?
<v Speaker 8>Actually? I just left Vegas finishing our drive to Cali.
<v Speaker 2>All right, well you're on the open road?
<v Speaker 3>You are?
<v Speaker 2>Wow?
<v Speaker 8>I am. My kids were ignoring me, so I called in.
<v Speaker 1>All right, good ignore him back, I say, you leave
<v Speaker 1>him at the next rest stop and hit the road.
<v Speaker 8>I think, thanks.
<v Speaker 2>So tell us a little bit about yourself, Michelle.
<v Speaker 8>Well, we're originally from Cali. We moved to Denver about
<v Speaker 8>ten years ago, and now we're going back for some
<v Speaker 8>beach time. And my two girls are fifteen and sixteen,
<v Speaker 8>So here we go.
<v Speaker 2>Do you work? Do you have a gig? I?
<v Speaker 8>Do I do my medical underwriting?
<v Speaker 2>Oh? Well that sounds important.
<v Speaker 3>It sounds.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not a Yeah, I didn't want to say it.
<v Speaker 1>So well, here's what's gonna happen. I'm gonna give you
<v Speaker 1>and Katie the same five questions, best out of five wins.
<v Speaker 1>Ties go to Katie because why she's a diva in
<v Speaker 1>a monster.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, there it is. Katie. Got anything to say to Michelle?
<v Speaker 3>You know? Better? Pull over, focus, pay attention, because I
<v Speaker 3>bring it.
<v Speaker 2>I come to Oh, all right, Katie, get out of here.
<v Speaker 2>Get out of here, Katie.
<v Speaker 1>So Michelle, she's gonna go into a room where she
<v Speaker 1>can't hear anything. I come up with the questions, so
<v Speaker 1>there's no cheating, and I'm watching her get in there.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 1>We'll find out if you are right or wrong once
<v Speaker 1>we bring her back in.
<v Speaker 2>So are you ready to play?
<v Speaker 8>I'm ready?
<v Speaker 2>All right?
<v Speaker 1>Michelle, tell me what brand of boots originated in Australia.
<v Speaker 1>They're made from sheep and they're very trendy.
<v Speaker 6>I'd be.
<v Speaker 2>All right. What movie is the famous quote? Show me
<v Speaker 2>the money.
<v Speaker 8>From Jerry Maguire?
<v Speaker 2>Your third question? What's the Grinch's dog's name?
<v Speaker 8>Oh? No clue, but I'm gonna go is Odie. I
<v Speaker 8>know that's Garfield's dog.
<v Speaker 9>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Just throw out any dog's name exactly.
<v Speaker 1>Here's your fourth question. What is Kinzy's signature move on
<v Speaker 1>Love Island.
<v Speaker 8>Kinsey signature move probably kissing, that's all they do.
<v Speaker 2>I know, right, all right, I'll put you down for
<v Speaker 2>making out? How about that?
<v Speaker 9>All right?
<v Speaker 2>Making What is Justin Bieber's clothing line? What's the name
<v Speaker 2>of it?
<v Speaker 8>Uh? No, Justin Bieber Heather clothing. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Would you like to say, Odie?
<v Speaker 4>Sure?
<v Speaker 2>Odie? It is all right. We're gonna bring Katie back in.
<v Speaker 2>I'm waving her in. Hello, Hi, welcome back, Hi.
<v Speaker 5>Hi.
<v Speaker 2>What were you doing in there? Like tooting or something?
<v Speaker 4>We're just sitting there and I drink my tea and
<v Speaker 4>just drinking reflection.
<v Speaker 2>Alright, all right? Were you ready to bring it?
<v Speaker 3>Michelle?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? How do you feel like you did? Michelle? How
<v Speaker 2>do you feel like you did?
<v Speaker 8>I start, I started agreeing and it just kind of
<v Speaker 8>went downhill.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's all right, all right, let's do it.
<v Speaker 3>Let's see how it works out.
<v Speaker 1>What brand of boots originated in Australia. They're made from
<v Speaker 1>sheep and they are super trendy. They're odd boots, right, yeah, Michelle,
<v Speaker 1>you said that too.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, a a Katie.
<v Speaker 1>What movie does the famous quote show me the money
<v Speaker 1>come from?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>It's uh did Jerry McGuire shall.
<v Speaker 2>The Michelle also said that she's right, she did start
<v Speaker 2>off strong. Katie, Katy, Katy, it's Christmas time?
<v Speaker 3>Uh huh?
<v Speaker 2>What was the Grinch's dog's name?
<v Speaker 3>Oh? I don't know what his name was? Was it?
<v Speaker 3>I don't know Pat?
<v Speaker 2>It actually was Pat. No, I'm just joking. No, not
<v Speaker 2>a chance in hell, No, no, no no.
<v Speaker 1>And then Michelle said, Odie, you're right, that was Garfield's
<v Speaker 1>dog's name.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, it was Max.
<v Speaker 3>Right now, I remember Mark, I remember Katie.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you might know this one since you've been watching
<v Speaker 1>this show.
<v Speaker 2>What is Kinzie's signature? Move on Love Island?
<v Speaker 4>No, I don't get to watch the show because my
<v Speaker 4>rok who's old, and I just get snips of it
<v Speaker 4>on YouTube.
