<v Speaker 1>What is going on everybody? A big win for the
<v Speaker 1>US in the World Cup. For those of you who
<v Speaker 1>have been paying attention to what has been going on,
<v Speaker 1>I know many of you have big win for the
<v Speaker 1>US over Bosnia. So it's a good night. It's a
<v Speaker 1>Wednesday night, and I am glad that you are with
<v Speaker 1>me for yet another Dynamite review. This Dynamite happens to
<v Speaker 1>be coming after a pay per view, and there have
<v Speaker 1>been many post pay per view Dynamites that frankly have
<v Speaker 1>not been very good. Thankfully, this was one of the
<v Speaker 1>better ones that they have done. But you'll notice there
<v Speaker 1>was no review. I did not do a live review
<v Speaker 1>for Forbidden Door on Sunday. I did do a full
<v Speaker 1>review for the pay per view as part of the
<v Speaker 1>Uncrowned Wrestling Show yesterday, which you can go check out.
<v Speaker 1>But just some top line thoughts here, because again we
<v Speaker 1>are coming out of this Forbidden Door show, which it
<v Speaker 1>was nothing like Double or Nothing. Double or Nothing to
<v Speaker 1>me is still we'll see we're only halfway through, but
<v Speaker 1>to me, Double or Nothing is the pay per view
<v Speaker 1>of the year so far. Double or Nothing was just
<v Speaker 1>from top to bottom a tremendous show. Forbidden Door really
<v Speaker 1>what put it over the top were the three as
<v Speaker 1>they build them, the three main events of the show,
<v Speaker 1>which were the finals of the Men's and the Owens,
<v Speaker 1>the Men's an Owen Men's and Owen I don't even
<v Speaker 1>know what I'm saying, the Men's and Women's Owen Hard
<v Speaker 1>Final and the twelve man six on six cage match,
<v Speaker 1>which I thought was fun and I enjoyed that more
<v Speaker 1>than I thought I would. And the main event with
<v Speaker 1>will Osprey and Swerve Strickland. Will Osprey going to Wembley
<v Speaker 1>Stadium he will be challenging for the aw World Championship,
<v Speaker 1>which I think everybody and their mother knew was going
<v Speaker 1>to be the case. But those two guys, they have
<v Speaker 1>chemistry for days. They went out there had a tremendous match.
<v Speaker 1>My personal match of the night, though, I will say
<v Speaker 1>the one that I enjoyed the most Mercedes Monet and
<v Speaker 1>My World. My World, who was not even on the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight. My World will be on Collision tomorrow because
<v Speaker 1>Maya World is going to end up in the women's
<v Speaker 1>Gauntlet match that Tony Khan is doing next week to
<v Speaker 1>crown a number one contender for Tekla at Redemption later
<v Speaker 1>this month in Montreal, so we will see Maya World.
<v Speaker 1>Mayo World had a star making performance on Sunday. I
<v Speaker 1>thought that match was tremendous, especially down the stretch and
<v Speaker 1>the drama and the near falls and everything. I loved it,
<v Speaker 1>and so that really is what helped put that pay
<v Speaker 1>per view over the top for me. Also very happy
<v Speaker 1>that Tony Khan, starting with Redemption, is going to be
<v Speaker 1>doing these pay per views an hour earlier. So the
<v Speaker 1>next show we'll start at seven Eastern pre show at
<v Speaker 1>six pm. Of course all In is going to be
<v Speaker 1>a little bit different because they're going to be in
<v Speaker 1>the UK, so that's going to probably be a one
<v Speaker 1>o'clock Eastern start would be maybe twelve pm for the
<v Speaker 1>pre show, so that's going to be a whole different
<v Speaker 1>ball of wax. But from Forbidden Door we get Dynamite tonight.
<v Speaker 1>And on this Dynamite we had a World Championship match.
<v Speaker 1>Why because Mjf's team lost to Team brisco on Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>which guaranteed Mark Briscoe an aw World Championship match here
<v Speaker 1>tonight on this show, and they opened the show with it,
<v Speaker 1>and we would find out why that would be the
<v Speaker 1>case because it was a show long angle that they
<v Speaker 1>shot and I love it when they do that, and
<v Speaker 1>it's smart to do that. It gives the fans a
<v Speaker 1>reason to stick around for the entire two hours. MJF
<v Speaker 1>and Mark Briscoe they went to war. MJF is still
<v Speaker 1>the AW World champion. Kenny Omega wants next. MJF agreed
<v Speaker 1>to give it to him under one condition, and that
<v Speaker 1>condition is the same condition that he chose for the
<v Speaker 1>match the Texas Deathmatch that he had a few months
<v Speaker 1>ago with Hangman Adam Page, which is that if Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Omega goes in there next week and it will be
<v Speaker 1>next week on Dynamite, they're not waiting until redemption, which
<v Speaker 1>is bullshit. I still have every expectation that we're going
<v Speaker 1>to see this match of redemption, but next week they're
<v Speaker 1>going to wrestle for the AW World title. If Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Omega cannot beat MJF, and I remember how they phrased it,
<v Speaker 1>if you can't beat him, or if he can't win
<v Speaker 1>the championship, but if he can't beat MJF, he can
<v Speaker 1>never again challenge for the AW World title. He will
<v Speaker 1>fall into the same category as Cody Rhodes and Hangman
<v Speaker 1>page two other members of the Elite, and they're doing
<v Speaker 1>this match in Clearwater, Florida on the Beach Break episode
<v Speaker 1>of Dynamite next week. That was the biggest surprise of all,
<v Speaker 1>not even that MJF would select that stipulation. It was
<v Speaker 1>the timing of the match. And I look at this
<v Speaker 1>and I just say to myself, there is a literally
<v Speaker 1>a pay per view coming up called Redemption. Kenny Omega
<v Speaker 1>has been dropping many redemption mentions in his promos over
<v Speaker 1>the last couple of weeks. There is no way, there
<v Speaker 1>is no way that Kenny O in Montreal does not
<v Speaker 1>challenge MJF for the World Championship or I suppose could
<v Speaker 1>be defending that championship frankly on that show, But he
<v Speaker 1>has to challenge for it on that show because that's
<v Speaker 1>the whole point of him getting his redemption. His redemption
<v Speaker 1>arc is him winning the belt back by finally beating MJF,
<v Speaker 1>which is something that he has never been able to do.
<v Speaker 1>And MJF made that very clear on the show tonight
<v Speaker 1>that you're zero for two against me, buddy, You're about
<v Speaker 1>to go oh for three. So I don't think that
<v Speaker 1>whatever happens next week is going to be the end
<v Speaker 1>of it. I'm looking in next week, frankly, I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>at next week and I'm seeing some sort of finish
<v Speaker 1>that gives Omega a win without him outright pinning MJF
<v Speaker 1>and winning the belt. It could be a DQ it
<v Speaker 1>could be some kind of screwy finish. Look, it could
<v Speaker 1>be a time limit draw. We have seen MJF on
<v Speaker 1>this very television program Russell will ospray in a match
<v Speaker 1>that went of sixty minutes before. He's done this already
<v Speaker 1>in a World championship match, you have a sixty minute
<v Speaker 1>time limit. Who's to say that they don't go out
<v Speaker 1>there next week and they don't have the marathon match,
<v Speaker 1>no winner, nothing's been decided, and it extends out to
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view. That's what I'm expecting. But that's
<v Speaker 1>a major match for them to promote for next week show,
<v Speaker 1>and again it was smart to keep people tuned in.
<v Speaker 1>Kenny came out of the end of the show, he
<v Speaker 1>cut this in passion promo and he accepted the chet,
<v Speaker 1>which of course he was going to accept the challenge.
<v Speaker 1>The Babyface coming out and saying, you know what, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think I want to do this, not exactly a
<v Speaker 1>Babyface promo, so they set that up well, I thought
<v Speaker 1>for next week's show. Meanwhile, the actual main event in
<v Speaker 1>Ring Maine event on this show was to decide a
<v Speaker 1>brand new TBS champion. The championship has been vacant for
<v Speaker 1>over a month. Tonight was the first ever survival of
<v Speaker 1>the fittest match in an AW ring. We have a
<v Speaker 1>new U TBS Champion and thy name is Hikarushida, the
<v Speaker 1>former aw Women's World Champion. I am not a fan
<v Speaker 1>of this. I was very disappointed by the outcome of
<v Speaker 1>this match. I think there were better options to go with.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry to all the Shida fans out there, but
<v Speaker 1>she is the new TBS champion. And they also seem
<v Speaker 1>to set up a future match, if not a future
<v Speaker 1>program between Chris Statlander and Persephone, which I'm here for.
<v Speaker 1>And to be honest with you, watching the match tonight
<v Speaker 1>as the match progressed, and I'm a Persephone fan, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm watching this match and I'm like, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>if it's not gonna be Ami Nada, who is my
<v Speaker 1>pick going into it? I would have loved to have
<v Speaker 1>seen Persephone walk away with that championship and I'm kind
<v Speaker 1>of bummed that it didn't work out that way, but
<v Speaker 1>at least now we have an actual champion. The funny
<v Speaker 1>thing is the entire reason that we had this match
<v Speaker 1>in the first place to crown a new champion, because
<v Speaker 1>Willow Nightingale got hurt and so they stripped her of
<v Speaker 1>the championship back in May. Meanwhile, they've been airing vignettes
<v Speaker 1>on TV promoting her return, and Fightful had a report
<v Speaker 1>about a week ago saying that she's expected to be
<v Speaker 1>back in July this month, And now we just so
<v Speaker 1>happened to have a women's Casino Gauntlet next week on Dynamite,
<v Speaker 1>where the winner will challenge Tekla Redemption for the championship.
<v Speaker 1>My money is on Willow Nightingale to return in that
<v Speaker 1>match next week and win and go on to win
<v Speaker 1>the world championship at Redemption. I think there's a very
<v Speaker 1>good chance that it's gonna be Willow Nightingale going into
<v Speaker 1>the ring with Mercedes Bonett at all in to defend
<v Speaker 1>that world title. But it begs the question if I'm right,
<v Speaker 1>and whether she wins or not. But if she's back,
<v Speaker 1>let's say next week, if Willow is coming back so soon,
<v Speaker 1>was it a situation where they thought her injury was
<v Speaker 1>more serious than it was. Maybe they thought she needed
<v Speaker 1>surgery and she ended up not having surgery. Otherwise, it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't make any sense. It doesn't make any if we
<v Speaker 1>assume that it's all on the up and up, and
<v Speaker 1>that this wasn't a work from the very beginning, which
<v Speaker 1>I honestly don't believe it was. I don't believe it was.
<v Speaker 1>Can't discount the possibility that it was all set up
<v Speaker 1>this way to get the belt off her without losing it,
<v Speaker 1>just to get the world title on her. But assuming
<v Speaker 1>that this was all legit, I can only imagine the
<v Speaker 1>injury turned out to be less severe, because otherwise it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't make any sense to take the belt off of
<v Speaker 1>her if you weren't even going to cry a champion
<v Speaker 1>until the beginning of July, and then she comes back
<v Speaker 1>next week or in two weeks, you know what I mean, Like,
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Speaking of
<v Speaker 1>people coming back, one of the things that I really
<v Speaker 1>liked about Forbidden Door was the return of Switchblade J
<v Speaker 1>White now every single pay per view. I believe if
<v Speaker 1>it was like he would go on social media and
<v Speaker 1>he would post ready. He was teasing people for months
<v Speaker 1>and every time we had a pay per view where
<v Speaker 1>every single time there was a casino gauntlet, it's like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>Jay White's gonna come back tonight, Tonight's the night that
<v Speaker 1>Jay White return and he would never show up. And
<v Speaker 1>he did the same damn thing on Sunday. But this
<v Speaker 1>time it was for real and he actually came back,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm very happy to see him back. He's been
<v Speaker 1>snake bitten with injuries since he debuted here. I really
<v Speaker 1>hope he can stay healthy. Came back on Sunday. He
<v Speaker 1>was here tonight. He cut a promo, very good promo,
<v Speaker 1>I thought, andrede aliedelo if you saw the pay per
<v Speaker 1>view on Sunday. Out of the don Kallis Family, the
<v Speaker 1>full babyface turn now has been completed. He made an
<v Speaker 1>appearance on the show tonight. Darby Allen came out. He
<v Speaker 1>wants next for Kevin Knight and the TNT Championship. Don
<v Speaker 1>Callus says no, you and I say yes. It's only
<v Speaker 1>a matter of when. Is that the redemption match? Do
<v Speaker 1>they want to carry this out until Wembley? It's only
<v Speaker 1>a matter of time, so they're setting that match up
<v Speaker 1>for the future. Again, a lot of times these post
<v Speaker 1>pay per view episodes of Dynamite, they fall flat. There
<v Speaker 1>are people who don't even like major names, who don't
<v Speaker 1>even show up on the show. They're beat up, maybe
<v Speaker 1>they're injured. Tony Khan has said in the past like
<v Speaker 1>sometimes on these pay per views, he knows that they're
<v Speaker 1>going to go balls out, and so it's hard for
<v Speaker 1>him to really book a Dynamite show not knowing who's
<v Speaker 1>going to be available, like physically who's going to be available.
<v Speaker 1>So that's part of the problem. But so many of
<v Speaker 1>these shows end up being just a fucking bore compared
<v Speaker 1>to like the adrenaline rush that you get coming off
<v Speaker 1>this pay per view, this show here. I like the
<v Speaker 1>way they opened. They opened with a World Championship match
<v Speaker 1>and a big angle and actually there was an opening
<v Speaker 1>segment that even came before the opening match that I liked,
<v Speaker 1>which we'll get into. And so I liked everything they
<v Speaker 1>did at the beginning. A lot of what was in
<v Speaker 1>the middle was like, Eh, it was a mixed bag,
<v Speaker 1>very much a mixed bag, but we got some good stuff. Again,
<v Speaker 1>the Jay White promo and some of the key people
<v Speaker 1>that you would want to see on the show, like
<v Speaker 1>andrade Ja White. They made appearances Leo Rush. I know
<v Speaker 1>some people don't like the Leo Rush stuff. I'm a
<v Speaker 1>Leo Run I'm a black Heart fan. Sorry, not sorry.
<v Speaker 1>And then they closed the show out with the six
<v Speaker 1>way women's match and then the Kenney Omega promo. The
<v Speaker 1>decision not as big as the Lebron decision many years ago,
<v Speaker 1>but this was his version of the decision. So I
<v Speaker 1>thought the way the show was structured was a lot better,
<v Speaker 1>and we just had a lot more to sink our
<v Speaker 1>teeth into on the show where this felt like az
<v Speaker 1>and not just because we had a world title match,
<v Speaker 1>but it felt like an important show. It didn't feel
<v Speaker 1>like a throwaway like so many of these post pay
<v Speaker 1>per view episodes tend to feel. Let's talk about this
<v Speaker 1>entire thing from top to bottom. This is your aw
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite review. It is the first day of July. It
<v Speaker 1>is a hot day. I turned the AC off before
<v Speaker 1>I went live, and I'm already regretting that decision. It
<v Speaker 1>is still eighty two degrees here in New York. It
<v Speaker 1>is expected to go up above ninety tomorrow and then
<v Speaker 1>almost one hundred on Friday. So wherever you are, stay
<v Speaker 1>cool and stay safe because this is very dangerous and
<v Speaker 1>it sucks. But it's summer. This is what happens in
<v Speaker 1>the summer. Uh, do me a favor. Hit that subscribe
<v Speaker 1>button if you have not already done so, hit that
<v Speaker 1>like button. We always have a goal that we try
<v Speaker 1>to attain. We'll find out what that is here in
<v Speaker 1>a moment. Let's spind this wheel and get this party
<v Speaker 1>started here, shall we. Let's find out how many likes
<v Speaker 1>we need to do. Be the booker, which is also
<v Speaker 1>a struggle on Wednesdays sometimes Spin Spin, Spin, All right,
<v Speaker 1>here we go. Four hundred and seventy five is the
<v Speaker 1>goal for tonight. Where are we were at? Two forty nine?
<v Speaker 1>All right, okay, that's the goal. Four hundred and seventy
<v Speaker 1>five likes we'll get you be the booker. We got
<v Speaker 1>the bonus supertat goal going in the chat pinned up top.
<v Speaker 1>You guys know what to do, so move things along here.
<v Speaker 1>And I said that there was a segment that preceded
<v Speaker 1>the World Championship, meant that opened the show tonight that
<v Speaker 1>I liked, So we'll start there. Dynamite came on the
<v Speaker 1>air and the announcers welcomed us, and they pitched it
<v Speaker 1>to footage from after Forbidden Door. They do this sometimes
<v Speaker 1>where they'll they'll take us back to something backstage after
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view that they record. So in this case,
<v Speaker 1>it was Renee who was in the back to interview
<v Speaker 1>Will Osprey who happened to come walking by. His face
<v Speaker 1>was still caked in blood. He walks in with his lady. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>he walked in with Alex Windsor by his side, and
<v Speaker 1>Osprey said, man, words cannot describe what this feeling is
<v Speaker 1>like him winning the owen Hart Tournament. John Moxley showed
<v Speaker 1>up his locker room was right there. So all of
<v Speaker 1>a sudden he appears out of nowhere, and so the
<v Speaker 1>ladies depart. Now it's just the two guys. A few
<v Speaker 1>weeks ago, Moxley said that he's starting to see it
<v Speaker 1>in ospray. Osprey wants to know, what does you mean
<v Speaker 1>by that? Moxley said that he who defines himself can
<v Speaker 1>never know who he really. Why do I feel like
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley when he's cutting these promos, He's getting this
<v Speaker 1>stuff from like a fortune cookie. This sounds like something
<v Speaker 1>I don't have to put a quarter in one of
<v Speaker 1>those old machines and then like you know, like a
<v Speaker 1>little ball pops out with a piece of paper inside
<v Speaker 1>of the message in it. It's like Buddha or something.
<v Speaker 1>He's always he has these, he has these little nuggets
<v Speaker 1>of knowledge that he likes to drop on will ospray here.
<v Speaker 1>It make himself sound smarter than he really is. He
<v Speaker 1>goes this place, aw can be something great. This can
<v Speaker 1>be the greatest sport in the world, even though it's
<v Speaker 1>filled with carnes and backstabbers. It's up to them to
<v Speaker 1>protect and preserve this craft. Moxley said that look, we
<v Speaker 1>took a vote on it, and he pulled out a
<v Speaker 1>death Rider's patch. I just had terrible flashbacks here to
<v Speaker 1>the the aces and Eights, every the aces and Eights
<v Speaker 1>and their vests they're cut. My god, let's let's let
<v Speaker 1>let's not go back to that. But he pulled out
<v Speaker 1>this little death Rider's patch and he, you know, hands
<v Speaker 1>it over to Osprey. He says, if Osprey takes it,
<v Speaker 1>he can ride with them, He can ride with Moxley anywhere.
<v Speaker 1>Moxley hands the patch to him and he walks away.
<v Speaker 1>Osprey is just staring at it. Right, pondering what he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna do here, and he goes and starts walking down
<v Speaker 1>the hallway and he bumps into Kenny Omega. So Omega
<v Speaker 1>said that Osprey has no idea how proud he is
<v Speaker 1>of him. Osprey cuts him off. He's kind of a dick,
<v Speaker 1>to be honest with you. He goes, you're not my dad,
<v Speaker 1>and he could also see Omega is eyeballing the patch
<v Speaker 1>that Moxley gave to him. Says that just because you've
<v Speaker 1>given up on yourself doesn't mean that I will. So
<v Speaker 1>Omega takes exception to this. MJF. All of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>he walks out. It's funny because I'm watching this and
<v Speaker 1>behind them you can see in the locker room there
<v Speaker 1>someone's someone's arm. So it was MJF. He was just
<v Speaker 1>standing there, wait, and he was just like eavesdropping. And
<v Speaker 1>so now he walks out of the room and he
<v Speaker 1>walks over to these guys. He's very amused by all
<v Speaker 1>of this. Omega said that if MJF somehow survives Mark
<v Speaker 1>Briscoe tonight, guess who's coming to knock on his door. MJF.
<v Speaker 1>He looked right past Kenny, right at Osprey and He
<v Speaker 1>told them, I'll see you at Wembley, Brev, see you there, Brev.
<v Speaker 1>He walks off. Omega tells Osprey He'll always be his friend,
<v Speaker 1>take care of yourself, and I'll see you on Wednesday.
<v Speaker 1>I like this. I like this will Osbury taking the patch?
<v Speaker 1>You know, the question is would he accept it? The
<v Speaker 1>answer is yes, because they had a tag team match
<v Speaker 1>later in the night and he already has it on
<v Speaker 1>his tights. He's got the patch on his leg, on
<v Speaker 1>the leg of his tights. So the question I have is,
<v Speaker 1>and something that I have been talking about for a while,
<v Speaker 1>is do they do a match before we get to
<v Speaker 1>Wembley between Osbury and Moxley? Is like one final test
<v Speaker 1>to see if he truly is ready and if he
<v Speaker 1>truly has, you know, accepted all of the training and
<v Speaker 1>everything that they have kind of ingrained in him over
<v Speaker 1>these last few months. Is he truly ready to step
<v Speaker 1>in the ring and challenge for the world Championship? And
<v Speaker 1>at Redemption, you do Osprey against Moxley or do they
<v Speaker 1>hold off on that and maybe they make Moxley Osprey's
<v Speaker 1>first challenger coming out of all in, which is the
<v Speaker 1>other way they could go with it. There's also a
<v Speaker 1>third way, which is that there's a breakdown at some
<v Speaker 1>point and the Death Riders are just inevitably going to
<v Speaker 1>turn on will Osbury and try to kill him again,
<v Speaker 1>and then we'll get another match that way and Osbury
<v Speaker 1>will win. So there's a few different ways that they
<v Speaker 1>could go with it. I'm partial to the idea of
<v Speaker 1>they don't have to turn on him again. It could
<v Speaker 1>be as simple as like one final test before he
<v Speaker 1>gets to London. But again, I don't know exactly when
<v Speaker 1>we're going to get the match. I have to imagine
<v Speaker 1>we will absolutely get the match, so I guess for now,
<v Speaker 1>he kind of, I guess, is a full fledged member
<v Speaker 1>of the Death Riders. But we'll see where it goes.
<v Speaker 1>They have put together a story here now as we
<v Speaker 1>head into these next two pay per views that I
<v Speaker 1>am interested to see where they're going to go with it.
<v Speaker 1>And I wouldn't have said that a year ago when
<v Speaker 1>it came to the Death Riders. I was done with
<v Speaker 1>the Death Riders when they didn't break them up coming
<v Speaker 1>out of all in you know, it worried me because
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they had just dominated the show so much
<v Speaker 1>and it was just such it's like, one of the
<v Speaker 1>good things about Moxley having the Continental title now, which
<v Speaker 1>I don't give a shit about, but him having that
<v Speaker 1>belt as opposed to the World Championship is so much
<v Speaker 1>better because under Continental rules you don't have the death riders.
<v Speaker 1>They're interfering in every single one of his matches, right,
<v Speaker 1>nobody is allowed at ringside, nobody can interfere. So when
<v Speaker 1>Moxley is out there, we're getting these just straight singles matches,
<v Speaker 1>which is a big relief compared to what we were
<v Speaker 1>getting a year ago, year and a half ago. So
<v Speaker 1>but here we are now, and I find myself interested
<v Speaker 1>to see where they're going to take this story. Now,
<v Speaker 1>look what they did here in this opening segment. They
<v Speaker 1>teased a couple of different things. They teased Omega and Osprey,
<v Speaker 1>they teased MJF and Omega, and they tease MJF and
<v Speaker 1>Osprey And I sit here now and I rack my brain, like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>assuming they put the championship on Kenny and it's not
<v Speaker 1>going to be MJF in the main event at Wembley Stadium,
<v Speaker 1>what do you do with MJF on that show? And
<v Speaker 1>like I said on TNT last night, the match that
<v Speaker 1>right now. If he's not in the World title match,
<v Speaker 1>the match that would make the most sense I think
<v Speaker 1>would be him and Androte on the undercard. But if
<v Speaker 1>we're being honest here, MJF needs to be in that
<v Speaker 1>main event. There's really no reason for him not to
<v Speaker 1>be in that main event. Him and Androti are gonna wrestle,
<v Speaker 1>and I actually think Arena Mexico is the best place
<v Speaker 1>for it. And it doesn't even have to be for
<v Speaker 1>the championship. Who's to say that the title has to
<v Speaker 1>be on the line, right, but what an atmosphere it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be in that building. The problem is the
<v Speaker 1>Grand Slam Show is the beginning of August, so if
<v Speaker 1>he loses the belt next week, or if he loses
<v Speaker 1>the Belt of Redemption, he won't be the champion, but
<v Speaker 1>you can still do the match. So we have to
<v Speaker 1>get that at some point, and that's going to be
<v Speaker 1>tremendous stuff. But this entire year, all of twenty twenty
<v Speaker 1>six so far, MJF has been in the championship picture,
<v Speaker 1>whether as the champion or the challenger. He has been
<v Speaker 1>in all of these pay per view main events. He
<v Speaker 1>has been carrying this company. They have a lot of
<v Speaker 1>great wrestlers, but MJF is one of the few actual
<v Speaker 1>draws that they have, and you got to believe that
<v Speaker 1>he knows that, and Tony Khan knows that, and everybody
<v Speaker 1>else knows it too, and he's all over the show tonight.
<v Speaker 1>That tells you right there they know that he is.
<v Speaker 1>He is their big draw and attraction on the show.
<v Speaker 1>You could tell by how many segments they have devoted
<v Speaker 1>to him. But all year long, from the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the year against Brody King, to the stuff with Kenny Omega,
<v Speaker 1>to the stuff with Darby Allen, and now to this
<v Speaker 1>stuff with will Osprey and Omega again and androde and
<v Speaker 1>all of these other people that are coming after him.
<v Speaker 1>It's been the MJF show. How do you not include
<v Speaker 1>him in the main event of the biggest show of
<v Speaker 1>the year. A three way match would actually make a
<v Speaker 1>lot of sense. And I know Tony Khan doesn't do
<v Speaker 1>too many of them. He's not like a big triple
<v Speaker 1>threat guy or anything like that. But MJF, Kenny Omega,
<v Speaker 1>will Osprey headlining all in all in the same match together,
<v Speaker 1>that would seem to make a lot of sense to me.
<v Speaker 1>But a lot can change in these next two months
<v Speaker 1>and maybe a month from now, it won't make sense
<v Speaker 1>and it'll make more sense to do one on one
<v Speaker 1>ome again, Ospray. I'm just telling you as I sit
<v Speaker 1>here right now, everything revolves around these three men. So
<v Speaker 1>a three way match with all of them involved, that
<v Speaker 1>would be. If the option is to either leave MJF
<v Speaker 1>out or do a three way, then you do a
<v Speaker 1>three way. That's what I would do now. They opened
<v Speaker 1>after this it was the World Championship on the line,
<v Speaker 1>MJF putting his title up against Mark Brisco because Brisco
<v Speaker 1>earned the win Team Briscoe did in the cage match
<v Speaker 1>on Sunday, and so we ended up here with this
<v Speaker 1>championship match. And again after this match was over, we
<v Speaker 1>would learn why they would do this at the beginning,
<v Speaker 1>because I know some people were complaining, why are they
<v Speaker 1>opening the show with this? First of all, they did
<v Speaker 1>that with the MJF and Roosh match a few weeks ago.
<v Speaker 1>My first thought was, Okay, there's a World Cup game
<v Speaker 1>starting at about eight o'clock when Dynamite was going on
<v Speaker 1>the air, and maybe Tony was like, all right, better
<v Speaker 1>to do this at the beginning of the show and
<v Speaker 1>not wait too long until they get deeper into the game.
<v Speaker 1>But the real reason they did it is because they
<v Speaker 1>had to the set up the angle at the end
<v Speaker 1>of the show. You had to get this match out
<v Speaker 1>of the way first. Brisco bled early. I know, what
<v Speaker 1>a shock. He's kind of taken the mantle over from
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley. But MJF started biting at the bloody wound
<v Speaker 1>from the cage match and he just opened up right away,
<v Speaker 1>blood pouring down the man's face. Brisco pulled the table
<v Speaker 1>out from under the ring. He tossed MJF into the
<v Speaker 1>ring steps and then set the table up. He put
<v Speaker 1>MJF on top of the table. He went up top,
<v Speaker 1>but MJF quickly got off that frigging table and he
<v Speaker 1>scurried up onto the apron and he tossed him down
<v Speaker 1>onto the apron, landed right spine first on the apron.
<v Speaker 1>Then he placed the table back under the ring. Big
<v Speaker 1>heat from the crowd for that. After a break, they
<v Speaker 1>fought on the outside. Briscoe attempted a j driller on
<v Speaker 1>the exposed concrete because the mats had been pulled up.
<v Speaker 1>Mjfow reversed out of that with a back body drop
<v Speaker 1>he went for a tombstone on the concrete. Brisco, though escaped,
<v Speaker 1>slammed him on the concrete. Brisco followed up with a
<v Speaker 1>cactus elbow off the apron, which is hilarious. Actually, I
<v Speaker 1>just watched earlier today with lunch the Sting cactus Jack
<v Speaker 1>match from Beach Blast in nineteen ninety two, because on
<v Speaker 1>the WCW channel they had put together a few weeks
<v Speaker 1>ago a compilation of Sting matches from WW in nineteen
<v Speaker 1>ninety two, which is just I mean, what a year
<v Speaker 1>for that company in terms of like in ring and
<v Speaker 1>the star power they had. There was so much good stuff.
<v Speaker 1>This is part two. So months ago they put a
<v Speaker 1>video up, like a three hour compilation. I think it
<v Speaker 1>was the best of Sting nineteen ninety two, and that
<v Speaker 1>was only part one. So I'm watching part two earlier,
<v Speaker 1>and it's Stinging Cactus. He get the cactus elbow and
<v Speaker 1>all the cactus jack trademark spots, and so here's Mark
<v Speaker 1>Brisco doing a cactus elbow off the McK foley will
<v Speaker 1>likely be doing a cactus elbow soon enough in aw
<v Speaker 1>off the apron. Mark Briscow won't have to do it.
<v Speaker 1>McK foley himself will be doing it. You just wait,
<v Speaker 1>It's not going to be very much longer before we
<v Speaker 1>see that on TV. So back inside, Brisco landed a
<v Speaker 1>high angle death Valley driver for a close near fall.
<v Speaker 1>He attempted a jade riller on the apron. MJF escaped.
<v Speaker 1>They ended up back out on the floor. Brisco again
<v Speaker 1>set MJF up on the table. This time he hit
<v Speaker 1>a froggy bow off the top rope and connected and
<v Speaker 1>it looked like JF. I mean, he got put through
<v Speaker 1>that table. That thing exploded upon impact. He sent MJF inside,
<v Speaker 1>He covered him and then MJF was able to get
<v Speaker 1>his foot on the ropes. So Brisco hits another froggy
<v Speaker 1>bow and then he hits the j drailer and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, oh man, because I knew, you know, it
<v Speaker 1>was only gonna be for a near fall. And so
<v Speaker 1>sure enough, you know, MJF kicks out. He's protected that
<v Speaker 1>move ever since his brother died. I don't remember offhand
<v Speaker 1>if anybody else is kicked out of it. It's possible
<v Speaker 1>somebody has, and I'm just not thinking of them, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm not sure it's been largely protected since then. So
<v Speaker 1>I thought maybe he would tease it, he would go
<v Speaker 1>forward in this match, but since he's not winning the match,
<v Speaker 1>he won't actually hit it. I feel like it's one
<v Speaker 1>of those moves that should be protected, you know, like
<v Speaker 1>in WWE, if the fucking end of Days for Baron
<v Speaker 1>Corbin can be protected for so many years, you can
<v Speaker 1>protect the Jay Driller. There is just certain moves I
<v Speaker 1>feel like that should be shielded from being kicked out of.
<v Speaker 1>So I was like, eh, I don't know if I
<v Speaker 1>would have done that, but he kicked out of the
<v Speaker 1>j Driller, dragged the MJF to the corner. He set
<v Speaker 1>up for an avalanche Jy Driller, MJF escaped and after
<v Speaker 1>some pen attempts, he delivered a heat seeker and he
<v Speaker 1>won the belt clean as a sheet right in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of the ring. MJF is still the aw World Champion.
<v Speaker 1>They had a good match. They had a good match.
<v Speaker 1>All the insanity though that we just saw in the
<v Speaker 1>cage match on Sunday. This was a come down from that.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, he was bleeding and he did the froggy bow.
<v Speaker 1>That was a big spot, you know, down through the
<v Speaker 1>table and everything. But again we saw so much, so
<v Speaker 1>much more in that cage match on Sunday that it
<v Speaker 1>was like, okay, we just saw a match like this,
<v Speaker 1>but with ten other people involved doing stuff that was
<v Speaker 1>far crazier than what we got here. So this was good.
<v Speaker 1>This wasn't anything that I would put, you know, up
<v Speaker 1>there his match of the Year or anything like that.
<v Speaker 1>But they had a good match. But again, part of
<v Speaker 1>what also I heard it is that there was no
<v Speaker 1>drama about what the outcome was going to be. We
<v Speaker 1>literally just had a segment to open the show where
<v Speaker 1>they were already overlooking Mark Briscoe. You know, Kenny Omega's
<v Speaker 1>telling him like, if you get past brisco tonight, I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>all right, cut the shit, you know what I mean.
<v Speaker 1>So everybody already knew how this was going to end
<v Speaker 1>before the bell rang, so there was no real drama
<v Speaker 1>with the near false. After the match, MJF took Briscoe
<v Speaker 1>and he punched him in the head with the Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>diamond ring. He shoved some officials around as they came
<v Speaker 1>in to try to get him off of brisco He
<v Speaker 1>was teasing that he was going to attack him yet again.
<v Speaker 1>Before he could, though, Kenny Omega he ran out to
<v Speaker 1>make the save Omega got on the mic. He'd challenged
<v Speaker 1>MJF tonight to another match, because since you're so fond
<v Speaker 1>of ladders and tables and rings, let's do it tonight
<v Speaker 1>in the main event. So MJF said that it was
<v Speaker 1>bad enough he had to come to California to wrestle
<v Speaker 1>a white trash hick. But he couldn't believe that Omega
<v Speaker 1>thought he deserved another title shot after he beat him
<v Speaker 1>the last time. So he refused the match, and he said,
<v Speaker 1>Omega is no god, he is a fraud. He's already
<v Speaker 1>beaten him twice. And he kicked out of the one
<v Speaker 1>winged Angel, kicked out like it was nothing. But suddenly
<v Speaker 1>he had a change of heart. As he was walking out,
<v Speaker 1>he stopped. He had an epiphany, and he turned around
<v Speaker 1>and he says, I got a great idea. He'll wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega next week, but under one condition, and that
<v Speaker 1>is that if MJF wins, the same thing happens to
<v Speaker 1>Kenny that happened to his friend Hangman Adam Page, which
<v Speaker 1>is where he can never again challenge for the World
<v Speaker 1>Championship in aw same stipulation. So he gave Omega until
<v Speaker 1>the end of the night to make a decision, and
<v Speaker 1>I thought, well, that's an interesting little wrinkle. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>not talking about the stipulation. I'm talking about the timing
<v Speaker 1>of this match, because I don't put it this way.
<v Speaker 1>I think most of us were expecting this match. Nobody
<v Speaker 1>was expecting it next week. And immediately my mind begins racing, like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>you've got this Redemption pay per view coming up in Montreal.
<v Speaker 1>There's no way that Kenny Omega is not in the
<v Speaker 1>main event wrestling for the World Championship. How are they
<v Speaker 1>going to come up with a finish to extend this
<v Speaker 1>out to the end of the month. That's really the
<v Speaker 1>only question. And like I said at the beginning, are
<v Speaker 1>we looking at a dq? Were looking at a count
<v Speaker 1>out would be so fucking lame. But are we looking
<v Speaker 1>at some sort of and it doesn't even have to
<v Speaker 1>be a time limit draw. There could be something where
<v Speaker 1>they brawl off and do some kind of big spot
<v Speaker 1>and the referee calls for a stoppage, or they both
<v Speaker 1>failed to make it back in time, they're just kind
<v Speaker 1>of brawling. Well, look, the show is Beach Break next week,
<v Speaker 1>and if they don't take advantage of where they're going
<v Speaker 1>to be They're going to be right by the water,
<v Speaker 1>Like I'm actually really looking forward to what this show
<v Speaker 1>looks like next week. I'm just happy they're finally doing
<v Speaker 1>a beach break show from the fucking beach or a
<v Speaker 1>beach like location, because this is a company that in
<v Speaker 1>the past has literally done beach break shows in Chicago
<v Speaker 1>in January, and I'm like, why the fuck do you
<v Speaker 1>even bother with it if you're not going to try
<v Speaker 1>to create an atmosphere that fits the theme of the show.
<v Speaker 1>And so they're finally doing that. Who's to say that
<v Speaker 1>Omega and MJF don't brawl into the fucking water or something.
<v Speaker 1>Remember when alse Though and Bob Holly brawled into the
<v Speaker 1>Mississippi River. Maybe we get something like that and there's
<v Speaker 1>no winner and they have to run it back again,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't know if they would run it back
<v Speaker 1>with the same stipulation, but maybe they run it back
<v Speaker 1>again at Redemption. That's the only thing I'm trying to
<v Speaker 1>wrap my head around and try to figure out how
<v Speaker 1>do they get out of this so they can do
<v Speaker 1>it again, because to blow it off next week makes
<v Speaker 1>absolutely no sense, right, So that's really the only question here,
<v Speaker 1>But that's a big match for them now to promote
<v Speaker 1>for next week's show. You know, the goal here is
<v Speaker 1>to keep people tuned into the television show, So how
<v Speaker 1>do you do that? Use your big guns, use your
<v Speaker 1>biggest names. The aw world title should not be defended
<v Speaker 1>on this show every single week. They don't need to
<v Speaker 1>be making a habit out of this. We just had
<v Speaker 1>a title match tonight, we got another one next week
<v Speaker 1>all of a sudden So that's something that you can't
<v Speaker 1>be doing every single week. But I have to assume
<v Speaker 1>it's an angle that's going to lead to the main
<v Speaker 1>event of the next pay per views, So it's fine.
<v Speaker 1>So after this backstage, Renee asked MJF about his big
<v Speaker 1>win and are you prepared if Kenny Omega accepts your
<v Speaker 1>challenge for next week? MJF addressed androte, now, I want
<v Speaker 1>to stop here for a second. I want to point
<v Speaker 1>out to you that we are only talking about the
<v Speaker 1>third segment now on this show. MJF has been in
<v Speaker 1>all three segments. He was in the opening segment backstage,
<v Speaker 1>he was in a world championship match, and he's in
<v Speaker 1>this segment here and he wasn't done yet. So you're
<v Speaker 1>gonna tell me that he isn't the big attract, and
<v Speaker 1>not just because he's the champion. You canna tell me
<v Speaker 1>he's not the big attraction. And Tony Khan doesn't realize
<v Speaker 1>that MJF is his guy. Title or no title, MJF
<v Speaker 1>is his guy. That's why MJF belongs in the main
<v Speaker 1>event at all. In nothing else really makes sense. Him
<v Speaker 1>in a random undercard match doesn't really make any sense.
<v Speaker 1>But he addressed Andrade first. He said revenge is coming
<v Speaker 1>for him and he won't even see it coming. Then
<v Speaker 1>he ran down the list of all the names that
<v Speaker 1>he's beaten over the years, including Cody Rhoades. He snuck
<v Speaker 1>his name in there on that list because why not.
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna say, why not put the WWE champion
<v Speaker 1>on there? But he ain't the WWE champion right now,
<v Speaker 1>at least not for a few more days. And Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Omega was on there twice because he has beaten him twice.
<v Speaker 1>He then addressed Omega. He said he doesn't have to
<v Speaker 1>worry about him because he was literally gutless. I laughed
<v Speaker 1>at that. I'm sorry, I thought that was funny. Literally gutless,
<v Speaker 1>and he would not accept his challenge. Will Osprey walked
<v Speaker 1>up and confronted Max. Said, Max is gonna break his
<v Speaker 1>neck sucking himself off like that. It's quite the visual
<v Speaker 1>one that I did not need. He said, why why
<v Speaker 1>that stipulation. MJF said, It's because I'm the champion, so
<v Speaker 1>I called the shots, and he says he'll see Osprey's
<v Speaker 1>pale ass at Wembley Stadium. They're doing a good job
<v Speaker 1>of building the tension between these two so much so
<v Speaker 1>that I want to see them in the ring. Trep
<v Speaker 1>Bull Thrat, Trep bull Thrat, Trip bull Thrat, make it happen.
<v Speaker 1>Winston says, could MJF have a realistic match with guntherro
<v Speaker 1>Why the hell not? Why would he not be able
<v Speaker 1>to have a realistic match with gun through He can
<v Speaker 1>have a realistic match with anybody on that roster. He
<v Speaker 1>can have a realistic match with anybody on any roster.
<v Speaker 1>The answer is yes, of course, and it would be great.
<v Speaker 1>In the arena, Tony Schavani was on stage and he
<v Speaker 1>introduced androde l Idelo walked out there and he said
<v Speaker 1>that he was done with the don Kallis family and
<v Speaker 1>it was time to beat MJF. And become the AW
<v Speaker 1>World champion. People in the crowd were chanting, how you know,
<v Speaker 1>how you know? Catching on man? So he looked in
<v Speaker 1>the camera he goes, how you know? Then he got ambushed,
<v Speaker 1>so apparently he didn't know. He didn't know the ambush
<v Speaker 1>was coming from the don Kallis family and they dragged
<v Speaker 1>him to the ring. Brian Cage, who looks as massive
<v Speaker 1>as ever. Somehow, I don't know, he keeps getting bigger.
<v Speaker 1>He keeps getting bigger, this guy, you know. I do
<v Speaker 1>have to say, I do have to say one thing.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't see the entire interview yet. Brian Cage sat
<v Speaker 1>down with Chris van Vliet, and I did see part
<v Speaker 1>of the interview where he had like a belt sitting
<v Speaker 1>there that he had made, I think a couple of
<v Speaker 1>years ago, like a big band belt, and he was
<v Speaker 1>talking about what the concept was behind it. And he
<v Speaker 1>hasn't been allowed or able to use it in AW yet.
<v Speaker 1>But if you remember the last time we saw him
<v Speaker 1>on the show last week or the week before, he
<v Speaker 1>had I think a medal around his neck because he
<v Speaker 1>had done some sort of fitness or bodybuilding competition recently.
<v Speaker 1>And so he's just on the show, he's got the
<v Speaker 1>metal around his neck and this is This is not
<v Speaker 1>to say the WWE doesn't allow their talents to do
<v Speaker 1>stuff like I think Tiffany Stratton is either is or
<v Speaker 1>was in training recently for some sort of fitness competition. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>I was not expecting that death Sithe activating Bremode. Thank
<v Speaker 1>you death sythe But I do like how, like you know,
<v Speaker 1>some of these guys are allowed to just go out
<v Speaker 1>and do stuff like that and then bring the shit
<v Speaker 1>with them on television. They're gonna be an independent contractor.
<v Speaker 1>Well you may as well actually treat them like independent contractors,
<v Speaker 1>which they're still not true independent contractors, but a lot
<v Speaker 1>of them do go out and do kind of outside
<v Speaker 1>things like that that maybe they wouldn't be allowed to
<v Speaker 1>do if they want other places. So he's been doing
<v Speaker 1>a whole bunch of different of different things, and so
<v Speaker 1>he's doing these competitions and he is, he's fucking gigantic.
<v Speaker 1>I always just look at him and I go, man like,
<v Speaker 1>he's another one who's been snake bitten with injuries for
<v Speaker 1>whatever reason, and hopefully he can stay healthy because I
<v Speaker 1>do feel like he still has yet to have a
<v Speaker 1>real proper run in aw if Tony Kahm wanted to
<v Speaker 1>give him a decent push like he was doing with
<v Speaker 1>Mark Davis right now. Unfortunately, he's dealing with visa issues,
<v Speaker 1>so we haven't seen him in a month. Hopefully they
<v Speaker 1>get him back soon. This could be an opportunity. Now,
<v Speaker 1>you know, they kicked on Rode out, Mark Davis is
<v Speaker 1>out for the time being. Wardlow still isn't back. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what's going on with him. Who knows. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>Brian Cage will get some sort of, you know, halfway
<v Speaker 1>decent push. He's never going to get any sort of
<v Speaker 1>significant push in this company, but yeah, he's got to
<v Speaker 1>stay healthy. But he's out there. He's just fucking massive.
<v Speaker 1>And so anyway, he's posing as Don Callus gets on
<v Speaker 1>the mic, and Callous is mocking him and making fun
<v Speaker 1>of him, and they end up announcing, by the way
<v Speaker 1>that on Collision, which is airing tomorrow, we are going
<v Speaker 1>to get a match between Androde and Brian Cage. So
<v Speaker 1>Brian Cage is going to be defeated by Androde tomorrow. Again,
<v Speaker 1>not much of a push. I'm just saying, like I
<v Speaker 1>liked it when he and Lance Archer were together for
<v Speaker 1>that period of time as the Murder Machines. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>all right, that's a cool team. It's a cool name.
<v Speaker 1>We don't get a lot of team names like that
<v Speaker 1>these days. But again, I think he got hurt and
<v Speaker 1>I think Archer got hurt too, So somebody got hurt.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if they're going to put them back together.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe that's a good role for him to be in
<v Speaker 1>instead of just being on his own as a single
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, but anyway, callous he told his men
<v Speaker 1>get Androde out of here because Kevin Knight has a
<v Speaker 1>match coming up for the TNT Championship. And so it
<v Speaker 1>was Kevin Knight defending the TNT title against the Blackheart
<v Speaker 1>Leo Rush, who came out with a backpack. When the
<v Speaker 1>match starts guarded, Knight opened the backpack very carefully. He
<v Speaker 1>didn't want to repeat of what happened on Sunday. I
<v Speaker 1>think it was Darby's. They all came out, all the
<v Speaker 1>members of Team Briscoe came out with backpacks, and every
<v Speaker 1>backpack had something different in it except Takeshtis, which which
<v Speaker 1>had nothing except he pulled out the middle finger, which
<v Speaker 1>I thought was great. But the big spot in that
<v Speaker 1>match was Kevin Knight climbing to the top of the cage.
<v Speaker 1>There's a backpack up there, and he's going through it
<v Speaker 1>to see what's inside, and it explodes in his face.
<v Speaker 1>He falls through the table down below. So he's treading
<v Speaker 1>very carefully as he's opening this thing, and he pulls
<v Speaker 1>out a blackened version of the Ring of Honor television
<v Speaker 1>title because Leo Rush just won the Ring of Honor
<v Speaker 1>TV title a few weeks ago, and whatever they did
<v Speaker 1>to it looks like it was burned in a fire.
<v Speaker 1>It's like just it's completely just blackened now. And he
<v Speaker 1>was distracted by this and he's looking at Don Kallis
<v Speaker 1>outside or whoever it was he was looking. He got
<v Speaker 1>rolled up and almost got pinned here by Leo Rush.
<v Speaker 1>Jake Doyle maybe he was looking at Jake. Jake Doyle
<v Speaker 1>was out there. He pulled Night out to ringside to
<v Speaker 1>give him a breather. Leo did that creepy gallop that
<v Speaker 1>he does into a low suicide dive. Later on in
<v Speaker 1>the match, Doyle he caught Leo diving off the top
<v Speaker 1>out to the floor, but he got sent into the
<v Speaker 1>ring post. But this did give Night the opening that
<v Speaker 1>he needed, and he ended up putting away with a
<v Speaker 1>putting the match away with a stout power bomb and
<v Speaker 1>then the rock Bottom. I don't know if he has
<v Speaker 1>a name for this, but the urinagi for the win
<v Speaker 1>didn't go very long. He was kind of selling a
<v Speaker 1>knee injury. I think coming out of the cage match
<v Speaker 1>on Sunday was Kevin Knight again. The Blackheart stuff is
<v Speaker 1>not going to be for everybody. Your mileage will vary
<v Speaker 1>on what Leo Rush is doing right now. I like it.
<v Speaker 1>I find it amusing, kind of in the way I
<v Speaker 1>find Dan Housen amusing in WWE, although I do worry
<v Speaker 1>about over ex bosure. Gotta be careful with that. But
<v Speaker 1>every single week again you listen to these crowds and
<v Speaker 1>they're chanting Leo Rush, or they're chanting Leoh Leah. Right,
<v Speaker 1>the gimmick is over. More people now are talking about
<v Speaker 1>Leo Rush and chanting his name than they ever did
<v Speaker 1>when he just came out there as plain old Leo Rush.
<v Speaker 1>That's all I'm saying. His part in that cage match
<v Speaker 1>was one of my favorite parts of that entire show
<v Speaker 1>on Sunday, when they unzipped the bag and he came out.
<v Speaker 1>He popped out of the bag and everybody popped and
<v Speaker 1>they did some comedy spots with him and then stuffed
<v Speaker 1>them back in the bag. He's great, he's committed to
<v Speaker 1>the gimmick. I enjoy it. I understand if not everybody
<v Speaker 1>is going to. But I am very happy that Tony
<v Speaker 1>Kahan has been giving him consistent television time. When he
<v Speaker 1>started doing this, and this is something he was doing
<v Speaker 1>on the indies previously, but when he started doing this
<v Speaker 1>on television Collision, I said, man, this could get over.
<v Speaker 1>He gotta get him on the show consistently. And he's
<v Speaker 1>done that, and he got a spot in one of
<v Speaker 1>the main events on Sunday on the pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>Just keep doing it. He'll get more and more over,
<v Speaker 1>a little bit more and a little bit more each week.
<v Speaker 1>I'm happy. I'm happy for him. He's doing a hell
<v Speaker 1>of a lot better now than he would have been
<v Speaker 1>doing a year ago. Nobody would have been talking about
<v Speaker 1>Leo Rush a year ago in this company. When the
<v Speaker 1>match was over, Darby Allen walked out onto the stage.
<v Speaker 1>He told Kevin Knight he wanted a shot at the
<v Speaker 1>TNT Championship. If Knight says no, he says, what happened,
<v Speaker 1>I forbidden door will keep happening. So Knight said, look,
<v Speaker 1>I'm tired of dealing with your jackass stunts. He was
<v Speaker 1>about to accept, and Don Callus pulled the mic away
<v Speaker 1>from him, and Callus said that the stunt that Darby
<v Speaker 1>pulled that nearly killed Kevin Knight, that crossed the line.
<v Speaker 1>He crossed the line from wrestler to criminal at that point,
<v Speaker 1>and the Callous family does not reward criminal behavior, so
<v Speaker 1>he will never get a title shot so long as
<v Speaker 1>Don Callous has a say so. The same fucking stipulation
<v Speaker 1>that we were just talking about with the world title
<v Speaker 1>at the beginning of the show. I think I think
<v Speaker 1>we gotta we gotta cool it a little bit with
<v Speaker 1>the stipulation. Darby at that point had a big smile
<v Speaker 1>on his face and he said that Knight just dug
<v Speaker 1>his own grave, and Callous was screaming that you should
<v Speaker 1>be in jail. You're a criminal, you should be in jail,
<v Speaker 1>and that's how they left it. Uh, they're gonna do
<v Speaker 1>this your redemption. Darby's gonna get his match. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if they're gonna put the TNT title on him.
<v Speaker 1>I hope not. You know, he just had the World Championship.
<v Speaker 1>What the fuck does he need the TNT title for.
<v Speaker 1>He's already had it twice before. Anyway, Kevin Knight is
<v Speaker 1>the one who they are trying to elevate. I don't
<v Speaker 1>see any reason. I know, I know people are gonna
<v Speaker 1>look at it and go, well, Darby has to get
<v Speaker 1>his revenge. He's like, eh, does he does? He? Though
<v Speaker 1>hopefully at the end of all this Kevin Knight is
<v Speaker 1>still in possession of that belt. I think anything else
<v Speaker 1>would be a mistake. They aired footage it's it's like
<v Speaker 1>Big Show. It's a Big Show all those years ago.
<v Speaker 1>I have footage when he won the Rumble that year.
<v Speaker 1>I have footage see in today's world. You know, that's
<v Speaker 1>a very unrealistic segment, because if it were a twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty six segment, there would be no physical media the
<v Speaker 1>Big Show would have. They're phasing out all of the
<v Speaker 1>physical media, PlayStation, Xbox. It's very sad. They're not phasing
<v Speaker 1>out Chris Jericho though he's still around, and so they
<v Speaker 1>showed footage of him tapping out J. D. Drake on
<v Speaker 1>collision and using him. Tony Schavani to send a message
<v Speaker 1>to Tamaso Champa, forcing them to say that he was
<v Speaker 1>better than Champa, which they did. So now we go
<v Speaker 1>backstage live. Champa was being interviewed by Renee when Jericho
<v Speaker 1>ambushed him. There was a trash can that just flew
<v Speaker 1>in from off camera from out of nowhere, hit him
<v Speaker 1>right in the head. So they brawled outside into the
<v Speaker 1>parking lot, where officials tried unsuccessfully to stop them and
<v Speaker 1>to pull them apart. Next week on Beach Break, these
<v Speaker 1>two were going to have a match. They announced this
<v Speaker 1>a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if there's
<v Speaker 1>any stipulation attached to the match, but they are going
<v Speaker 1>to have a match next week. And look, this is fine.
<v Speaker 1>You know, like Jericho, he had the feud with Ricochet,
<v Speaker 1>now he's having a feud with Shampa. This is what
<v Speaker 1>you would expect Jericho and hope Jericho would be doing,
<v Speaker 1>because what's the alternative another faction Jericho challenging for a championship.
<v Speaker 1>Nobody wants to see that. Jericho having matches with people
<v Speaker 1>that he's never worked with before is perfectly fine. You
<v Speaker 1>don't have to be a huge fan of the feud,
<v Speaker 1>but I would much rather he be doing this than
<v Speaker 1>the alternative. We go backstage Renee, who had a very
<v Speaker 1>busy night, she walked into the Elite locker room. She
<v Speaker 1>found the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega deep in discussion
<v Speaker 1>here about what choice Omega would be making later in
<v Speaker 1>the show. Has he made a decision yet? Matt Jackson
<v Speaker 1>said that two Elite comrades have already fallen to this stipulation,
<v Speaker 1>those being, of course, Cody Rhodes and Hangman Adam Page.
<v Speaker 1>While Nick Jackson said Kenny's got this, Omega said he's
<v Speaker 1>not made his decision yet, said that if you can't
<v Speaker 1>challenge again for the world title, what's left for him
<v Speaker 1>to do? When Omega looks back on his first reign
<v Speaker 1>as champion, he says he needed help, he had to
<v Speaker 1>go to a dark place to get it done. So
<v Speaker 1>if he takes this match, he wants to do this
<v Speaker 1>on his own, and the Bucks say they support him
<v Speaker 1>no matter what he decides. Yeah, I saw, I saw,
<v Speaker 1>I saw the PlayStations there. It is bullshit. It is bullshit,
<v Speaker 1>aren't they When GTA six comes out, aren't they selling
<v Speaker 1>a physical box? And when you open the box, there's
<v Speaker 1>like a code inside you're buying a box. Basically, it
<v Speaker 1>sounds so preposterous. Ah, it's just so ridiculous. Will Osprey
<v Speaker 1>and John Moxley. They were tag team partners tonight against
<v Speaker 1>your favorite team, everybody, your favorite flavor of ice cream,
<v Speaker 1>the Swirl, still one of the most horrendous names in
<v Speaker 1>all of wrestling. Blake Christian and Lee Johnson with Jay
<v Speaker 1>Lethal in their corner. Marina Shaffir at one point during
<v Speaker 1>the this match, gave Lethal a suplex. I think it
<v Speaker 1>was a t bone. She tea boned? Did I think?
<v Speaker 1>On the floor, Blake Christian, he's springboarded into the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Osprey shoved Moxley out of Harm's way and caught Christian
<v Speaker 1>on the way down with a cutter, which led to
<v Speaker 1>Moxley and Osprey hitting a stereo paradigm shift hidden blade
<v Speaker 1>combo for the wind. Hey, Randy, Bobandy, no message, just
<v Speaker 1>showing love with a nineteen ninety nine Randy is He's
<v Speaker 1>in like a competition here with death Site tonight. This
<v Speaker 1>is better than Omega and Osprey, These two going out
<v Speaker 1>it here tooth and nail. Osprey had the death Rider
<v Speaker 1>patch on his tights right by his his right thigh,
<v Speaker 1>so he is wearing it for how long? Is the question?
<v Speaker 1>When does this implode? We all know it's going to
<v Speaker 1>It's only a matter of time. Post match, we had
<v Speaker 1>comments here from I think this was recorded on Sunday
<v Speaker 1>backstage with the still aw tag team champions Adam Copeland
<v Speaker 1>and Christian Cage, and Christian asked like, what the hell
<v Speaker 1>is the deal with Jay White? Copeland said he owed
<v Speaker 1>him a favor and they're even now. Christian said that
<v Speaker 1>before Jay White collected a paycheck sitting at home for
<v Speaker 1>a year, Christian had a serious problem with him and
<v Speaker 1>he still does. So then Christian walked away and he
<v Speaker 1>left Copeland alone with Renee, and Cope was like goodbye,
<v Speaker 1>and the fans in the arena left. Copeland, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>is going to be tagging with Jay White and his
<v Speaker 1>crew on Collision tomorrow against Shane Taylor Promotions. I assume
<v Speaker 1>they're taping Collision tonight. I mean, I don't think they
<v Speaker 1>say Collision Tomorrow is live, So I want to say
<v Speaker 1>they're taping it tonight. I believe. And we just unlocked
<v Speaker 1>the bonus be the Booker goal thanks to Randy Bobandy.
<v Speaker 1>He put us over the top, like a beast. Thank you,
<v Speaker 1>Randy Bonus be the Booker. Now, where are we on
<v Speaker 1>the main goal? That's the question. I don't have it
<v Speaker 1>in front of me. I shall check. I shall check
<v Speaker 1>really quickly for you. We're still behind three sixty three,
<v Speaker 1>four seventy five, so we only need a little over
<v Speaker 1>one hundred more likes? Can we get a hundred more
<v Speaker 1>likes to get us to where we need to be?
<v Speaker 1>You figure that out. I'm going to let you know
<v Speaker 1>what happened next, which is it was time to breathe
<v Speaker 1>with the switchblade. He's back finally. It only took a
<v Speaker 1>year plus to get him back, but he's back and
<v Speaker 1>he was out next with the rest of the Collision Cowboys.
<v Speaker 1>Here Juice, Robinson, Ace Austen and the guns. It was
<v Speaker 1>four hundred and fifty nine days away from him. We
<v Speaker 1>had four hundred and fifty nine days with no j White.
<v Speaker 1>Mystic Jay is mystified by the fact that we are
<v Speaker 1>getting a Bonus be the booker on a dynamite stright.
<v Speaker 1>I know it's crazy, it's crazy. I'm telling you, man.
<v Speaker 1>Nobody gave a shit going into Forbidden Door. Nobody gave
<v Speaker 1>a shit now the Forbidden Door is in the rear view,
<v Speaker 1>and we are heading into this first ever redemption pay
<v Speaker 1>per view, heading into Wembley businesses. Feels like it's starting
<v Speaker 1>to pick up. This is what I have been waiting for.
<v Speaker 1>Put that in the rear view and let's get to
<v Speaker 1>what matters here. And I feel like now we're finally
<v Speaker 1>entering that territory. But he said a lot can change
<v Speaker 1>in four hundred and fifty nine days. It seemed like
<v Speaker 1>the people hated and couldn't stand the day Riders, but
<v Speaker 1>now they like them, and they also love that fraud.
<v Speaker 1>But he's not here to talk about him, Billy. He
<v Speaker 1>didn't expound upon why will Osprey is a fraud. Just
<v Speaker 1>because the hardcore diehards know and the new japan fans know,
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't mean that everybody else knows. He said, he's
<v Speaker 1>out here to talk about Austin, Gunn, Colton, gun Ace,
<v Speaker 1>Austin and Rockhard, Juice Robinson and the Switchblade. Now he
<v Speaker 1>also has a question, and he's going to say it properly.
<v Speaker 1>Who let the dogs out? And everybody in the crowd
<v Speaker 1>they barked, when did that song come out? I know
<v Speaker 1>that that was the song for the Mets that had
<v Speaker 1>to be ninety nine or two thousand, that's how old
<v Speaker 1>that song is. It was one of those two seasons
<v Speaker 1>for the Mets that they played that just NonStop, that
<v Speaker 1>fucking song. Just it lives, rent Free and head. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>he's also talking about Clark Conners, Gabriel Kid or no
<v Speaker 1>Gabriel Gabrielle Gabrielle Kid, and his good friend David Finley.
<v Speaker 1>They both entered the new Japan Dojo at the same time.
<v Speaker 1>They trained together, they even learned each other's tricks. But
<v Speaker 1>things change. Finley was born into this business fourth generation,
<v Speaker 1>but it doesn't change the fact that Finley is still
<v Speaker 1>just a NEPO baby bitch boy. There's another NEPO baby reference.
<v Speaker 1>How many NEPO baby references are we up to this
<v Speaker 1>year in wrestling and promos? Too many? But Finley's only
<v Speaker 1>been here for four months and the stench has lingered
<v Speaker 1>on for far too long. So someone has to get
<v Speaker 1>rid of that, and why not? The Switchblade says Finley.
<v Speaker 1>What happened to you at Forbidden Door is going to
<v Speaker 1>keep happening if you want to get in my way
<v Speaker 1>and dogs, and for that matter, anyone else who wants
<v Speaker 1>to step up to us the Collision Cowboys and the
<v Speaker 1>Switchblade have two words for you, guns up, and everybody
<v Speaker 1>did the chant. They were super over here. Everybody was
<v Speaker 1>doing the Chapman. They were very happy to see Jay
<v Speaker 1>White back. I thought this was a good promo. And
<v Speaker 1>again I just I put my hands together here and
<v Speaker 1>I pray to the wrestling gods that this man can
<v Speaker 1>stay healthy, because if he can stay healthy, he can
<v Speaker 1>contribute a lot, and there are some great matches that
<v Speaker 1>he can partake in, and so let's hope. Let's hope.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. Six months from now, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what Jay White will be doing. I mean, the roster
<v Speaker 1>is so loaded. He can be anywhere on the card.
<v Speaker 1>They have so many championships, I mean, take your pick.
<v Speaker 1>He could be competing for any of them. Is he
<v Speaker 1>going to be a heel? Is he going to be
<v Speaker 1>a babyface? Right now? He's a babyface. Obviously. The next
<v Speaker 1>match to do is him against David Finley. I would
<v Speaker 1>think that that we're going to be getting that match
<v Speaker 1>very soon, one on one, but because they're both part
<v Speaker 1>of a group, you know, we'll get some sort of
<v Speaker 1>tag match along the way. But the match to do
<v Speaker 1>is going to be Findley and j White one on one.
<v Speaker 1>They closed the show in terms of in ring with
<v Speaker 1>the six way Survival of the Fittest Match crown a
<v Speaker 1>new TBS champion. We are guaranteed to have a new
<v Speaker 1>champion here on this show. Chris Statlander, Hey, Karushita, Persephone,
<v Speaker 1>Harley Cameron, Queen, Ami Nada, and Micah representing Stardom. She
<v Speaker 1>picked up a win over sky Blue. They had a
<v Speaker 1>qualifying match on the pre show on Sunday, so she
<v Speaker 1>stuck around for a few extra days before she flies
<v Speaker 1>back to Japan, and so they wanted a little bit
<v Speaker 1>of more extra international flavor. I guess beyond Shida and
<v Speaker 1>Persephone in this match, because she's the CMLL Women's World Champion.
<v Speaker 1>So we got Micah. Now, as I said at the beginning,
<v Speaker 1>the reason that we were even in this situation in
<v Speaker 1>the first place is because Willow Nightingales supposedly got injured
<v Speaker 1>and was forced to vacate her TBS championship. She was
<v Speaker 1>pulled from the Owen which is how we ended up
<v Speaker 1>with Mercedes Monet in there as a wild card entry,
<v Speaker 1>which is probably why a lot of people think that
<v Speaker 1>maybe the injury was a work and it was not
<v Speaker 1>a shoot. And I can't sit here and tell you
<v Speaker 1>that one hundred percent. I believe it was a shoot.
<v Speaker 1>But given that she is supposed to be coming back
<v Speaker 1>any week now, I don't know what to believe. I
<v Speaker 1>tell you what I believe. I believe that we're going
<v Speaker 1>to get her back in the Casino Gauntlet match on
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite next week, and my pick to win is Willow Nightingale.
<v Speaker 1>She hasn't even been announced for yet, but I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>throw that out there and say that she wins the Gauntlet,
<v Speaker 1>she gets techlet redemption. That's my prediction on that Survival
<v Speaker 1>of the Fittest. Originally, this was a concept that dates
<v Speaker 1>back to two thousand and four in Ring of Honor.
<v Speaker 1>It's nothing new, but it's the first time that we've
<v Speaker 1>seen one on an AW show. They just did one
<v Speaker 1>actually in May, I believe whatever was the Supercard Supercard
<v Speaker 1>of Honor, whatever that Ring of Honor pay per view
<v Speaker 1>was in the middle of May. I think it was
<v Speaker 1>May fifteenth, and Athena defended her Forever Championship in a
<v Speaker 1>Survival of the Fittest match, and of course she beat
<v Speaker 1>everybody and she kept the belt, so This is the
<v Speaker 1>first time we're seeing it in an aw ring. Pinfalls
<v Speaker 1>and submissions only until one woman is left standing, so
<v Speaker 1>basically notice qualification. Harley Cameron formed an alliance early on
<v Speaker 1>here with Persephone that didn't last very long. Persephone snuck
<v Speaker 1>up behind her when Harley had her back turned she
<v Speaker 1>was on the ropes. She grabbed her under her her
<v Speaker 1>arms and she dropped her and folded her up with
<v Speaker 1>a razor's edge and she pinned her. So Harley Cameron
<v Speaker 1>see you later. First elimination here of this match, Micah
<v Speaker 1>and Sheda. They had a back and forth. She'da tried
<v Speaker 1>to use her kendo stick, she doesn't leave home without it. Statlander, though,
<v Speaker 1>grabbed it away from her. Persephone then grabbed the kendo
<v Speaker 1>stick and she y Statlander off the apron to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>So they were beefing pretty early in this match. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we'll come back to the two of them
<v Speaker 1>later on. Sheida used a referee distraction to roll up
<v Speaker 1>Micah and pin her. That was the second elimination here
<v Speaker 1>of this match. Ami Nada missed a double stomp to
<v Speaker 1>Shida from the top rope, and Shida landed a running
<v Speaker 1>knee strike. Ami Nada came back with a headbutt. Persephone
<v Speaker 1>then rolled up Ami Nada as she was trying to
<v Speaker 1>follow up with Sheida, and she stole the pin. That
<v Speaker 1>was Persephone's second elimination here of this match, so that
<v Speaker 1>left her, Chida and Statlander as the final three. A
<v Speaker 1>dark Star, thank you, says the best stream in the IWC.
<v Speaker 1>I like the sound of that, and Warhawks says, I
<v Speaker 1>am promoting the stream all over the place. Please do
<v Speaker 1>tell your friends, tell your enemies, tell everybody. I love it.
<v Speaker 1>So we're down to the final three and Sida and
<v Speaker 1>Persephone they joined forces to try to take down Statlander.
<v Speaker 1>Statlander ended up taking them both down with the back elbow,
<v Speaker 1>so there were a whole series of pen attempts here.
<v Speaker 1>Statlander eliminated Persephone with a modified roll up, and that
<v Speaker 1>took the wind out of my sales because once Ami
<v Speaker 1>Nad I got pinned because I thought they were going
<v Speaker 1>to give her the win. Ami Nod is another one
<v Speaker 1>who unfortunately has been snake bitten with some injuries. She
<v Speaker 1>had a neck injury late last year. I think I
<v Speaker 1>think there was some other injury prior to that, but
<v Speaker 1>the neck injury was severe enough that she ended up
<v Speaker 1>missing many months, took her out of blooding guts, and
<v Speaker 1>it sucked because she was getting she was getting a push,
<v Speaker 1>She was getting a bit of a push at that time.
<v Speaker 1>So I just thought, man, this would be a good
<v Speaker 1>way to get her going again. You know, she's been
<v Speaker 1>back a few months, but she hasn't done anything of
<v Speaker 1>any note. And I feel like that TBS Championship could
<v Speaker 1>really benefit someone who has not been a world champion.
<v Speaker 1>It can benefit someone who is not in that upper mix.
<v Speaker 1>It can help elevate a new talent in the women's division.
<v Speaker 1>Why not Ami Nada? I just didn't think it was
<v Speaker 1>gonna be persephone just because she has the CMLL title.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they don't want Maybe politically, there's a reason why
<v Speaker 1>they wouldn't want to put a mid card belt on her.
<v Speaker 1>If she's got the World Championship and another promotion, and
<v Speaker 1>then maybe losing becomes an issue. You never know. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>these companies, AW has these partnerships, but still there's a
<v Speaker 1>lot of politics involved and who's winning and who's losing,
<v Speaker 1>and they're very sensitive about that sort of thing. So
<v Speaker 1>who knows. Maybe there was a political reason for her
<v Speaker 1>not to win but if it wasn't gonna be Ami Nada,
<v Speaker 1>I was kind of hoping it would be Persephone. And
<v Speaker 1>when she got dumped and we were down to the
<v Speaker 1>final too, I was like, Eh, now I'm pulling for Statlander.
<v Speaker 1>It's Chris Statlander or Kyroshida here they were the final,
<v Speaker 1>two former friends who have been feuding over the past
<v Speaker 1>couple of months, although I think they had their blowoff
<v Speaker 1>match a few weeks ago on Collision, maybe a month ago.
<v Speaker 1>She'da planted Statlander with a Falcon arrow for a close
<v Speaker 1>near fall. She'da went out to the Florida grab the
<v Speaker 1>TBS belt. She attempted to use it, Statlander knocked it
<v Speaker 1>away and Sheida applied an ankle lock. Statlander got to
<v Speaker 1>the ropes, but she gets to the rope, but she's
<v Speaker 1>kind of hanging out of the ring. And so here
<v Speaker 1>comes Persephone, who never left ringside, and she flies by
<v Speaker 1>like a drive by with the belt and she blasts
<v Speaker 1>Statlander right in the head with the TBS Championship. Statlander
<v Speaker 1>is out. Sheida drags her back to the center of
<v Speaker 1>the ring. She reapplies the submission and she's out. So
<v Speaker 1>the referee has no choice, but to call for the
<v Speaker 1>stoppage and hand Hikarushita her very first TBS championship. She's
<v Speaker 1>been world champion before, but she's never been TBS champion
<v Speaker 1>until now. The match itself, I thought that it was solid.
<v Speaker 1>It was not as good as the opening match, so
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was solid. Persephanie was the standout for me.
<v Speaker 1>I'm a big fan of her work. I think she
<v Speaker 1>can be a really big player in that women's division.
<v Speaker 1>She could be a player in any division really, But
<v Speaker 1>once Amy Nada got bounced, I was really hoping she
<v Speaker 1>would win, and so I just I wasn't thrilled with
<v Speaker 1>the fact that they went with Chidah for the win.
<v Speaker 1>Here doesn't do anything for me, and I don't think
<v Speaker 1>it really does a whole lot for the TVs title.
<v Speaker 1>And maybe she won't have it for very long. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>she'll end up losing it to Chris Statlander. Maybe the
<v Speaker 1>two of them are going to have a match at
<v Speaker 1>some point, But it just feels to me like the
<v Speaker 1>match to do now is going to be Statlander and Persephone.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I suppose after that they could get back
<v Speaker 1>to Hida and Statlander, but it's not like it was
<v Speaker 1>light in the World on fire the first time they
<v Speaker 1>did it, so I don't really care to see them
<v Speaker 1>revisit it. I'm down for a Statlander Persephone match though.
<v Speaker 1>I'm all in on that, so that should be good.
<v Speaker 1>But Sheida is champion. That just it doesn't do anything
<v Speaker 1>for me, you know. I think they made the wrong
<v Speaker 1>choice here. There were better options to go with, so
<v Speaker 1>that was kind of a downer. I mean again, even Statlander,
<v Speaker 1>who's been TBS champion before, even her winning the belt
<v Speaker 1>back would have at least given her something to do,
<v Speaker 1>or she could be defending the belt against Persephone. But
<v Speaker 1>they went in a different direction with it, and in
<v Speaker 1>my opinion, not a great one. Now, after a break,
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega he was ready to give us an answer
<v Speaker 1>for mjf's challenge, as if it was ever going to
<v Speaker 1>go another way. Omega was about to make his entrance.
<v Speaker 1>They had a camera on him, filming him from the
<v Speaker 1>back and you can hear them play his music out
<v Speaker 1>in the arena. Will Osprey shows up though, and he says,
<v Speaker 1>cut it, cut his music. He told Kenny he wants
<v Speaker 1>him to win the world title and wrestle. He wants
<v Speaker 1>to wrestle him at Wimbley Stadium, But does he really
<v Speaker 1>think this is a good idea? And Omega takes offense
<v Speaker 1>to this, and he says, are you trying to tell
<v Speaker 1>me that you don't think I can do it? Will says, well,
<v Speaker 1>of course I believe in you, but I don't think
<v Speaker 1>that you believe in yourself. So Omega told him he
<v Speaker 1>was out of time. Is that at a time this
<v Speaker 1>could be my last shot? What he's standing on right now,
<v Speaker 1>this is my death ground. So he's gonna go out
<v Speaker 1>guns blazing. Hopefully he's got Will's support. Osprey tells him, look,
<v Speaker 1>you always have my support, and the two of them
<v Speaker 1>hugged and they cued up Kenny's music again. He made
<v Speaker 1>his way out to the ring by himself, and so
<v Speaker 1>here we go. It was Kenny Omega show closing promo.
<v Speaker 1>What's he going to say? What's he gonna do? He says,
<v Speaker 1>believe it or not. He's done this for almost thirty years,
<v Speaker 1>more than half his life. There's been no greater passion
<v Speaker 1>or pleasure than stepping through these ropes and giving the
<v Speaker 1>fans everything he's got, whether it be when he was
<v Speaker 1>fourteen years old or forty two years old as a
<v Speaker 1>broken down man, the fans still get the same one
<v Speaker 1>hundred percent Kenny Omega. Every single time he's won titles.
<v Speaker 1>He's broken records, records that may never themselves be broken.
<v Speaker 1>He's had a career that he can look back on fondly.
<v Speaker 1>But there's this selfish part about him that he knows
<v Speaker 1>it's just not enough, a part of him that thinks
<v Speaker 1>that there's still a little bit left in the tank.
<v Speaker 1>That if he can believe, if will Osprey can believe,
<v Speaker 1>if the young Bucks can believe, if all you people
<v Speaker 1>can believe, we believe, we believe. Are we believing in
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendry anymore? Or has that? Has that pretty much died?
<v Speaker 1>I feel like that's kind of died out. Hopefully he
<v Speaker 1>can kind of rekindle that. Joe's a good guy, He's
<v Speaker 1>a nice guy, but boy, boy, is he been cooled
<v Speaker 1>off anyway. He's getting the crowd into it right, everyone
<v Speaker 1>believes in Kenny Omega. Then he knows that he could
<v Speaker 1>be a champion the fans can be proud of, and
<v Speaker 1>he can go to Wembley Stadium representing aew where the
<v Speaker 1>best wrestle, and where he can face Will Ospray and
<v Speaker 1>all he has to do is put it all on
<v Speaker 1>the line against MJF. If he fails, he will become
<v Speaker 1>just like Cody, just like Hangman, just another man that
<v Speaker 1>can never challenge for that belt again. And the question
<v Speaker 1>is the cost too high? The answer he said is no,
<v Speaker 1>you want me to put it all on the line.
<v Speaker 1>Max says if he loses this time, we'll never see
<v Speaker 1>him in a title match ever again. And boy wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>that make MJF happy. But here's the one thing that
<v Speaker 1>he hasn't considered. He's still the best bout machine, he's
<v Speaker 1>still the cleaner, He's still, to somehow there the god
<v Speaker 1>of pro wrestling. So is he going to accept his offer?
<v Speaker 1>The answer is yes. So next week, bring the triple B,
<v Speaker 1>bring yourself, and get ready to pass over what's belonged
<v Speaker 1>to him since the last time they wrestled. And he
<v Speaker 1>hits his closing line, you know, bid you ad do
<v Speaker 1>and all this other stuff, only for MJF then to
<v Speaker 1>ambush him from behind. And MJF was still in his
<v Speaker 1>bloody gear from earlier in the show. He pulled out
<v Speaker 1>the dynamite diamond ring. He went to go use it.
<v Speaker 1>Omega double legged him to the mat security and referees.
<v Speaker 1>They flood into the ring to separate these two Omega.
<v Speaker 1>He breaks free, he jumps on the pile in one corner.
<v Speaker 1>They get separated. Now it's mjf's tarrant to break free
<v Speaker 1>and he dives on the pile in the corner and
<v Speaker 1>then they separate them again. Rinse repeats. I've seen so
<v Speaker 1>many of these types, the segments, thank you, death sith
<v Speaker 1>and that is how the show went off the air.
<v Speaker 1>So we got the decision from Kenny Omega, the big
<v Speaker 1>baby Face makes the only babyface choice that there was
<v Speaker 1>to make, which is yes, of course I accept your
<v Speaker 1>challenge and you and I are going to wrestle for
<v Speaker 1>the World Championship next week. And so we got a
<v Speaker 1>big ass main event for Dynamite on the Beach Break
<v Speaker 1>Show next week, and it just has to go in
<v Speaker 1>a way that will lead to a rematch at Redemption.
<v Speaker 1>There is no other main event that makes sense for Redemption.
<v Speaker 1>The entire Kenny Omega story, the entire arc that they've
<v Speaker 1>been telling with this man since he came back at
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of the year and since he had that
<v Speaker 1>last match with MJF and lost in Vancouver, is one
<v Speaker 1>of redemption. That's why they He's mentioned the word redemption
<v Speaker 1>in his own promos before. The entire pay per view
<v Speaker 1>is set up for Kenny Omega to get his redemption
<v Speaker 1>against MJF. For it to happen next week in Florida
<v Speaker 1>and not in Montreal does not make any sense. So
<v Speaker 1>they have to figure out a way to get out
<v Speaker 1>of this and extend this out. And the logical way
<v Speaker 1>to do it would be either a total non finish
<v Speaker 1>or I guess this would be a non finish you
<v Speaker 1>go to a time limit draw. Would they dedicate sixty
<v Speaker 1>minutes of TV time to this one match? Well, let's
<v Speaker 1>see what are they announced so far for next week.
<v Speaker 1>They've announced MJF and Omega for the World Championship. They've
<v Speaker 1>announced Jericho against Shampa. They've announced to Keshta against Kyle Fletcher.
<v Speaker 1>They're doing that match next week for the International Championship.
<v Speaker 1>And they're doing a women's casino gauntlet, And we don't
<v Speaker 1>know how long the gauntlet. Mean, the gauntlet could be
<v Speaker 1>over in two minutes, the gauntlet could go twenty minutes,
<v Speaker 1>we don't know. But they're doing a gauntlet to crown
<v Speaker 1>a new number one contender for the women's world title
<v Speaker 1>at Redemption. That's a lot, and I don't see them
<v Speaker 1>sacrificing because those are some big matches. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>they're just gonna, oh, we run out of time, we'll
<v Speaker 1>bump it off the show for next week. If we
<v Speaker 1>assume we're getting all of this, I don't. I find
<v Speaker 1>it hard to believe that Omega and MJF are going
<v Speaker 1>to go the full sixty, but that would be one
<v Speaker 1>way out of it, and that way we have no winter.
<v Speaker 1>They got to run it back again at Redemption. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not expecting a title change next week. That's too big
<v Speaker 1>to be doing on Dynamite. We already had a world
<v Speaker 1>championship change in April on Dynamite when Darby Allen beat MJF.
<v Speaker 1>So having Kenny Omega beat MJF for the belt on
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite doesn't make any sense at all to me. It's
<v Speaker 1>more about how do they go about doing this finish.
<v Speaker 1>But that's still a huge main event for next week.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully they will close the show with that and not
<v Speaker 1>open the show with that. And I'm also again looking
<v Speaker 1>forward to just seeing what this Beach Break show looks
<v Speaker 1>like now that they're in an actual kind of outdoor
<v Speaker 1>summer location. I don't know why it took them this
<v Speaker 1>long to do that, but there's some big matches on
<v Speaker 1>the show next week, so that's good. That's good. I'm
<v Speaker 1>excited to see what they do with some of that stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Collision tomorrow is a pretty big card, I mean in
<v Speaker 1>terms of like how much shit they're stacking on there.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, this is what the lineup is, androde against
<v Speaker 1>Brian Cage. The Death Riders may be Claudio and Pack
<v Speaker 1>taking on Shingo Takagi and Drella Maloney. A lot of
<v Speaker 1>these talents are sticking around for a few extra days.
<v Speaker 1>That's why they're going to be on these shows. Athena
<v Speaker 1>is going to be wrestling. Is it Rena representing stardom?
<v Speaker 1>Is that how you pronounce it? She's from stardom. The
<v Speaker 1>winner of that match is gonna get the number one
<v Speaker 1>spot in the women's Casino Galtland match on Dynamit next week.
<v Speaker 1>Also Maya World, who is not on the show tonight,
<v Speaker 1>but she will be on the show tomorrow. She is
<v Speaker 1>going to be wrestling Julia Hart for the number two
<v Speaker 1>spot in the gaulet, which means that we could very
<v Speaker 1>well open the Casino Gauntlet next week with Athena and
<v Speaker 1>Maya World. Teacher and Student could be one and two,
<v Speaker 1>and honestly, looking at this, it should absolutely be Athena
<v Speaker 1>in Myo World. Like it can't be anything else. You're
<v Speaker 1>not gonna have Athena and Julia Hart. You're not gonna
<v Speaker 1>have Arina in Maya World. No one gives a shit.
<v Speaker 1>They want to see Athena and they want to see
<v Speaker 1>Maya World. Those are the two that should open that
<v Speaker 1>match next week. What else we got here? We got
<v Speaker 1>Adam Copeland and the Bang Bang Gang are going to
<v Speaker 1>be taking on Shane Taylor Promotions. Kyle Fletcher is wrestling
<v Speaker 1>El Fantasmo and Speedball, Mike Bailey, Mistico and Bandido are
<v Speaker 1>taking on the Rascals. That's a lot of shit on
<v Speaker 1>Collision tomorrow, So if you are so inclined, show is
<v Speaker 1>airing a couple of days early. The reason for this
<v Speaker 1>is because there's some sort of new and that is
<v Speaker 1>it boxing. It's some sort of new fighting league that
<v Speaker 1>is starting and they're airing these events on some Saturdays
<v Speaker 1>on TNT going forward. So there's going to be some
<v Speaker 1>weeks where at least once, if not twice a month.
<v Speaker 1>I think for the foreseeable future, Collision is probably going
<v Speaker 1>to get preempted to Thursday and somewhere Carlos Silva is
<v Speaker 1>just throwing furniture all over the place, because, if he
<v Speaker 1>is to be believed, that is the reason why he
<v Speaker 1>pulled those AW talents from those independent matches they were
<v Speaker 1>having with T and A Stars a few months ago,
<v Speaker 1>because apparently this is a declaration of war for me,
<v Speaker 1>which of course it's a bullshit excuse, so just roll
<v Speaker 1>with it. But I'm sure he won't be happy though,
<v Speaker 1>because it is going to be more competition for impact.
<v Speaker 1>But again, it doesn't sound like an AW decision if
<v Speaker 1>they're airing this new Fight League on Saturdays and there's
<v Speaker 1>not a whole hell of a lot they can do.
<v Speaker 1>Is it boxing? It is? Boxing? Was the world asking
<v Speaker 1>for another Boxingly we have Zoofa Boxing and now we
<v Speaker 1>have whatever the fuck this is. I don't know boxing
<v Speaker 1>was even still that popular. So those are your lineups
<v Speaker 1>for the upcoming shows. A big improvement this show was
<v Speaker 1>tonight over a lot of their recent post pay per
<v Speaker 1>view dynamites, so keep it up. Hopefully they will improve
<v Speaker 1>from here and I am genuinely looking forward to the
<v Speaker 1>show next week. Now. The likes goal here for this
<v Speaker 1>stream was four hundred and seventy five likes. We are
<v Speaker 1>currently at four hundred and forty three. We're close. We're close,
<v Speaker 1>but you're guaranteed one round regardless, because you guys have
<v Speaker 1>been absolute monsters tonight with the gifted memberships which are
<v Speaker 1>always welcome here, and the super chats, which I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>read right now, got a bunch of them to go through,
<v Speaker 1>and then we got to be the booker, so we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have some fun here. I'd love to see it.
<v Speaker 1>We'll start with death Sith who I think death Sith alone?
<v Speaker 1>What is it? Twenty six channel memberships gifted here so
<v Speaker 1>far Tonight says I think will Ospray should beat both
<v Speaker 1>MJF and Kenny Omega at all in because it could
<v Speaker 1>be Aw's version of Ben While winning the World Heavyweight
<v Speaker 1>Championship of WrestleMania twenty and Daniel Brian winning the WWE
<v Speaker 1>title of WrestleMania at thirty. It could be, but I'm
<v Speaker 1>not even comparing it to anything else. I just think
<v Speaker 1>logically it would make the most sense to have all
<v Speaker 1>three of them in the ring together. All three of
<v Speaker 1>them have had issues recently. All three I think belong
<v Speaker 1>in the title match on that show. Most of all MJF.
<v Speaker 1>He's put in the work this year. He's been their guy.
<v Speaker 1>He belongs in the main event at Wembley Stadium, not
<v Speaker 1>to win, but he should be in that match. Also,
<v Speaker 1>he says, if I was asked about Oh, if I
<v Speaker 1>was asked, how I would have booked theories money in
<v Speaker 1>the bank, cash and talking about Austin Theory. Now it
<v Speaker 1>was on Logan Paul's podcast says, I know people are
<v Speaker 1>gonna laugh, but a wrestle Mini at thirty nine after
<v Speaker 1>he beat Sena on night one and now he's over confident.
<v Speaker 1>He comes out on night two, Cash is in during
<v Speaker 1>the main event. You lost me, brother, you lost me there,
<v Speaker 1>but let's continue on. Then gets pinned by Roman and
<v Speaker 1>it accomplishes a few things. It gives theories when overseen,
<v Speaker 1>a meaning. It gives Cody an out and Cody can
<v Speaker 1>say that Roman didn't beat me, he beat Austin theory
<v Speaker 1>and I would have won had Theory now gotten involved. Overall,
<v Speaker 1>it gives theories failed cash in a purpose by progressing
<v Speaker 1>to Cody and Roman story. And I know theory of
<v Speaker 1>technically main event in WrestleMania, but it's not like we
<v Speaker 1>haven't had people who had no business in the WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>main event before. Well, first of all, that would be
<v Speaker 1>a very cheap way for Roman to keep his title,
<v Speaker 1>But is it really that much worse than Solo Socoa
<v Speaker 1>spiking Cody in the throat? But it would completely bury
<v Speaker 1>Austin theory. There are ways to have a failed cash
<v Speaker 1>in that don't completely bury the person. And I just
<v Speaker 1>feel like, yes, he's cashing in the WrestleMania main event,
<v Speaker 1>but he's he's gonna look like such a fucking loser.
<v Speaker 1>And so if I was going to have him get
<v Speaker 1>a win at WrestleMania over John Cena, I would not
<v Speaker 1>want to waste that. And you're wasting it by sending
<v Speaker 1>him out there like a fucking geek the next night
<v Speaker 1>to get pinned to me, You're you're wasting whatever value
<v Speaker 1>a John Seen a WrestleMania win would have had for
<v Speaker 1>Austin theory. So like, I get your log behind it,
<v Speaker 1>but I still think it's a flawed idea. I would
<v Speaker 1>not have done that. Uh yeah, give me backshot solo
<v Speaker 1>Monster No says Roman retires tonight. What happens then to
<v Speaker 1>the business and his family? The business continues on, The
<v Speaker 1>business will always continue on. WWE's business will take a
<v Speaker 1>dip without Roman around, but the bloodline is vast. There
<v Speaker 1>are lots of bloodline members and so I think the
<v Speaker 1>bloodline would live on. I think Jacob thought too would
<v Speaker 1>be in that title spot. I don't even mean literally
<v Speaker 1>with the title. I mean like that headline, that title
<v Speaker 1>spot in the family. There's been rumors of Zilla possibly
<v Speaker 1>signing with WWE soon, and it doesn't take a genius
<v Speaker 1>to figure out where he's going to ultimately end up
<v Speaker 1>in this Right if he comes a WWE like g
<v Speaker 1>I wonder what they'll have him doing. So the business
<v Speaker 1>this will go on. The business will continue to generate
<v Speaker 1>lots and lots of money. The bloodline will continue to
<v Speaker 1>generate money. But they'll take a hit. You know, Roman's
<v Speaker 1>their guy, and if he's not around anymore, they will
<v Speaker 1>they will take a hit. This week's episode is sponsored

<v Speaker 1>Site says Also, I forgot at least Theory would have
<v Speaker 1>cashed in for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the
<v Speaker 1>main event of WrestleMania instead of cashing in for the
<v Speaker 1>US title on a random episode of Raw. True. But
<v Speaker 1>still you're still burying him. You're still making him look
<v Speaker 1>terrible by doing it this way. Nico says, Hey, solo,
<v Speaker 1>Happy Bobby Bonia Day. That's right, Yes, July first is
<v Speaker 1>Bobby Bonia Day. Every year Former New York met Bobby
<v Speaker 1>Bonia because the way they structured or restructured his deal
<v Speaker 1>twenty five years ago or whatever. It is. Actually more
<v Speaker 1>than that, he gets a check for over a million
<v Speaker 1>dollars every year. He just walks to his mailbox. Imagine
<v Speaker 1>just every year on July first, you get to walk
<v Speaker 1>to your mailbox and you pull the little door down.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see I don't have one of those mailboxes.
<v Speaker 1>Those are the mailboxes, and like fucking Mayberry. The mailbox
<v Speaker 1>here is a little bit different. You had to pull
<v Speaker 1>the thing up and then you kind of reach in.
<v Speaker 1>You never know what's going to be in there. But
<v Speaker 1>imagine you reach in and you pull out, ah, your
<v Speaker 1>annual check for a million dollars. Not bad, Not bad?
<v Speaker 1>Says I don't know if you saw this, but this Friday,
<v Speaker 1>back Rooms is having its everything Must Go edition release
<v Speaker 1>with fifteen minutes of additional footage in a post credit scene.
<v Speaker 1>I did hear about this. So is it fifteen more
<v Speaker 1>minutes of just exploring various rooms here in the movie
<v Speaker 1>or fifteen minutes of what exactly? That's what I'm not
<v Speaker 1>sure of Boots. Boots says, I'm hoping he has direct
<v Speaker 1>deposit by now, and maybe he's like, venmo me bro,
<v Speaker 1>you can just venmo me zell. Maybe he went to
<v Speaker 1>the Mets and said, hey, here's my email address, you
<v Speaker 1>can zell me the money. Yeah, but where's the fun
<v Speaker 1>in that? That would be like the best trip every
<v Speaker 1>single year, the trip from your front door to the mailbox.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't want to give that up. The only thing
<v Speaker 1>is to check that big. You're not exactly going to
<v Speaker 1>take a picture with it and do a mobile deposit.
<v Speaker 1>There are mobile deposit limits. I don't think you can
<v Speaker 1>mobile deposit a check for over a million dollars, so
<v Speaker 1>he would have to then walk to the bank. It
<v Speaker 1>would be a whole paint in the ass. You're probably right,
<v Speaker 1>cash app, Yeah, he could do cash app. Nico says
<v Speaker 1>brought a he had brought a ticket. I think he
<v Speaker 1>means bought a ticket to see you on the Friday
<v Speaker 1>smd O. What see? I asked this in the chat.
<v Speaker 1>What is smd OS bought a ticket already to see
<v Speaker 1>you on the Friday? Smd OS. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>that means. Nico. You got to explain to me what
<v Speaker 1>you're trying to say there, dead Side. What is your
<v Speaker 1>favorite wrestling video package? Mine is Jeff Hardy The Rooftops
<v Speaker 1>by Lost Prophets. Yeah, well it's a it's a shame
<v Speaker 1>about lost profits. It's the reason why you'll never hear
<v Speaker 1>that again and look it up. All I will say
<v Speaker 1>about that is fantastic song, great band, but an evil
<v Speaker 1>vie Yes here we go, okay, an evil, vile, disgusting
<v Speaker 1>monster of a lead singer. May he burn in hell? Yes,
<v Speaker 1>Unfortunately that will always there will always be a dark
<v Speaker 1>cloud now over there. Their usage of lost prophets, that's
<v Speaker 1>a good one, though not my favorite. I have a
<v Speaker 1>few favorites actually. I mean, of course, Austin rock My
<v Speaker 1>Way WrestleMania seventeen is just iconic. Of course, the Daniel
<v Speaker 1>Bryan Monster one from WrestleMania thirty is fantastic. A little
<v Speaker 1>jealous though, because if I decided to start training and
<v Speaker 1>wanted to follow in his footsteps, he stole my song.
<v Speaker 1>That's the song I would want them to use for
<v Speaker 1>me in my video package. But I forgive him. But
<v Speaker 1>that's a great one. And then the other one I
<v Speaker 1>always come back to is Running Up That Hill, the
<v Speaker 1>cover version that they use for the WrestleMania twenty six
<v Speaker 1>rematch with Shaw, Michaels and the Undertaker. It's fantastic stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Skywalker says, wishing you a late happy Bobby Bonilla Day.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, brother. I love how your everyone's wishing like
<v Speaker 1>all day, like on Twitter and everything, everyone's wishing me
<v Speaker 1>happy Bobby Bonia Day. I'm like, I'm not getting a
<v Speaker 1>check for a million dollars, but see, I got people
<v Speaker 1>like Boots and we got Randy Bobandy and we got
<v Speaker 1>death Side. You know it may not be a check
<v Speaker 1>for a million dollars, but you guys are putting a
<v Speaker 1>smile on my face, so I appreciate that. Do you
<v Speaker 1>mean Monster by Skellet? No, I mean Monster by Imagine Dragons.
<v Speaker 1>Monster by Skellet is a different song that they used,
<v Speaker 1>I think for a different pay per view. Johnny Burney
<v Speaker 1>says Jay is back and got the fans to do
<v Speaker 1>his own fandangoing. I was in the crowd that night
<v Speaker 1>for that post wrestle media roa where everybody was doing
<v Speaker 1>the fandango that was popular for a hot minute. Death
<v Speaker 1>Site says, also on Monday, I'm surprised Paul Hayman didn't
<v Speaker 1>quote JBL and say to Austin Theory, you can't polish
<v Speaker 1>a turd. I tried as if he hasn't been buried enough,
<v Speaker 1>must we bury him deeper beneath the earth. We got
<v Speaker 1>dirty dried chicken without flavor, which sounds awful. Five dollars
<v Speaker 1>super chat, Hello Sola Monster and everyone in the chat.
<v Speaker 1>Continue to hit the like button. I'll be back next Wednesday.
<v Speaker 1>Happy fourth of July week and go team USA. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I'm wishing you and everybody else a very happy holiday weekend.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully you are doing something interesting and exciting and not
<v Speaker 1>working like I will be preparing for the Sunday show.
<v Speaker 1>But may you all have a great holiday weekend. PGH
<v Speaker 1>Chris TV, MJF versus Osprey versus Kenny at Wembley, great review.
<v Speaker 1>I agree, though, I think a three way is the
<v Speaker 1>way to go, and we very well may end up
<v Speaker 1>with one. That's my hope. Iron Guidgen deal with it
<v Speaker 1>with a two dollars super chat. How would you grade
<v Speaker 1>AW from January to June of this year? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>if I had to ascribe a grade, probably maybe something
<v Speaker 1>like a B plus would be fair. I mean, there
<v Speaker 1>have been weeks of Dynamite that are tough to get through. Right,
<v Speaker 1>you get great wrestling matches every fucking week, Sometimes that's
<v Speaker 1>just not enough. You look at an episode like Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>tonight and there was enough story to go with, like
<v Speaker 1>what we got in the opening match, and that's the
<v Speaker 1>sort of thing I want to see them, you know,
<v Speaker 1>do more of. But I can't say, oh, yeah, ay, plus,
<v Speaker 1>everything's been great, No, because there's been some boring shit
<v Speaker 1>too that hasn't really interested me. Something like a B
<v Speaker 1>plus I think would be fair. It's not a bad grave. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>Justin G says, Happy Canada Day and Brett Hart Day.
<v Speaker 1>That's right, July second, It is officially July second. It
<v Speaker 1>is Brett Hart's bur How old is Brett Hart now? Sixty?
<v Speaker 1>What damn man? I should know? This today should be
<v Speaker 1>a national holiday just for that alone. Happy Canada Day,
<v Speaker 1>owns to all the Canadians out there. Linklex with a
<v Speaker 1>nine to ninety nine says Tekla should have been in
<v Speaker 1>the women's owen so her and Mercedes could have their
<v Speaker 1>rematch a few weeks later, and Will was supposed to
<v Speaker 1>put aside his world title match. Who taught Tony Kahn
<v Speaker 1>how to book? We got a funny guy here in
<v Speaker 1>the super Jets. Yes, Tecla should have had a spot
<v Speaker 1>in the tournament. Is that how we're doing things now?
<v Speaker 1>Boots with the one hundred, I'm gonna give him this
<v Speaker 1>a thing because how can I not one hundred dollars
<v Speaker 1>bomb from earlier. Let's start the second half of twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty six with a bang. Thank you, Boots, You're awesome,
<v Speaker 1>but you already knew that. And Justin G says he
<v Speaker 1>is sixty eight years. Justin's not sixty eight, but Brett
<v Speaker 1>Hart maybe maybe he is. I shouldn't say that, but
<v Speaker 1>Brett Hart is sixty eight years old. God bless him. Men.
<v Speaker 1>So many of his family members and his friends and
<v Speaker 1>co workers, they never made it to their sixty eighth birthday.
<v Speaker 1>Every time I see that image, there's this image from
<v Speaker 1>an episode of Raw where all the members of the
<v Speaker 1>Heart Foundation are in the ring and they're all holding
<v Speaker 1>up each other's arms, and the entire image is black
<v Speaker 1>and white except Brett. Brett's the only one in color,
<v Speaker 1>because Brett's the only one that's still alive. Oh when
<v Speaker 1>he's gone. Bulldog is gone, Anvil is gone, Pilman is gone.
<v Speaker 1>And it's depressing as fuck to look at it. But
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad that Brett is still around in kicking men.
<v Speaker 1>He is. He is the goat Randy Bobandi with a
<v Speaker 1>fifty dollars gunhar bomb. Wednesdays are known as the slow day.
<v Speaker 1>Let's hope that gets the ball running. It ain't no
<v Speaker 1>slow day tonight. You guys made sure of that. And
<v Speaker 1>I believe we just hit the like skull, which means
<v Speaker 1>we're getting a double. We're getting a double. He'd be
<v Speaker 1>the booker. I love it. The real CSO two with
<v Speaker 1>a four ninety nine says, running back a stipulation they
<v Speaker 1>did seven months ago, and people say WWE is lazy
<v Speaker 1>and out of ideas. They literally made the match next
<v Speaker 1>week predictable. Well, I'm not gonna say it's predictable because
<v Speaker 1>I don't Thinkkenny Omega is winning the time next week.
<v Speaker 1>I think that would be stupid for him to win
<v Speaker 1>the belt on Dynamite next week. That would be dumb.
<v Speaker 1>You know what we didn't talk about the possibility that
<v Speaker 1>he keeps bringing up Hangman and he keeps mocking Hangman
<v Speaker 1>for the fact that he can't challenge for the championship again.
<v Speaker 1>Are we looking at a Hangman return as part of
<v Speaker 1>all this? You know, if he wins the championship, let's
<v Speaker 1>say not next week. Let's say they find a way
<v Speaker 1>to extend it out to redemption. Is that where Hangman returns?
<v Speaker 1>Does Hangman play a role in mjf's downfall as revenge
<v Speaker 1>for what MJF did to him? We already know the
<v Speaker 1>history and the friendship that Kenny and Hangman had together,
<v Speaker 1>he says, But since this is aw it's okay well,
<v Speaker 1>it's part of the story. I assume it's going to
<v Speaker 1>play out next again, we may get the return of
<v Speaker 1>Hangman here. If they could tie it all together, then
<v Speaker 1>it'll make sense. If they don't, then it won't. It's
<v Speaker 1>very simple. The uffman says. By the time you read this,
<v Speaker 1>happy birthday to the best there is, was and ever
<v Speaker 1>will be. Brett Hart sixty nine, sixty nine. So I'm
<v Speaker 1>getting mixed messages here. I had one person say he's
<v Speaker 1>sixty eight and now apparently he's sixty nine, which it's
<v Speaker 1>a hell of an age. Krispy Kreme with the four
<v Speaker 1>ninety nine, Hey, solemn Monster, thank you so much for
<v Speaker 1>all your hard work. I love all your content. Just
<v Speaker 1>wanted to show some love. Appreciate that. I appreciate that,
<v Speaker 1>Krispy Kreme. I'm glad you enjoy it. I got a
<v Speaker 1>really nice email earlier from someone who said they had
<v Speaker 1>never heard any of my shows before or any of
<v Speaker 1>my content. They became aware of me through the Young
<v Speaker 1>Crown show that I do, and so now they're, you know,
<v Speaker 1>sub to the channel and they're following all the other content,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, that was one of the goals in
<v Speaker 1>the hopes when I accepted the offer to start doing
<v Speaker 1>the Young Crown Show in the first place. It was like,
<v Speaker 1>there's two separate audiences there. Although I know a lot
<v Speaker 1>of you enjoy the Young Crowned Show and I love
<v Speaker 1>the overlap. I love the people that are like, man,
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to support because there is, you know, overlap
<v Speaker 1>with some of the news. It's unavoidable, Like, there's overlap
<v Speaker 1>with some of the news. How do you cover the
<v Speaker 1>news but do it in a way that's not exactly
<v Speaker 1>the same as you do it on Sunday. It's not easy.
<v Speaker 1>There tends to be more stuff that comes out on Monday,
<v Speaker 1>and so that helped, you know, stuff that drops on
<v Speaker 1>Monday that I didn't get a chance to cover on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>This weekend was a great example of it, because I
<v Speaker 1>didn't go live for Forbidden Door, and I'm so fucking
<v Speaker 1>happy I didn't because, oh my god, the fucking main
<v Speaker 1>event didn't go out to the ring until twelve thirteen
<v Speaker 1>in the morning. Like, fuck, you would have ruined my
<v Speaker 1>Monday if I would have stayed up to first go
<v Speaker 1>live at fucking one fifteen am. I'm so happy I
<v Speaker 1>didn't do that. I'm like, why we'll just save it
<v Speaker 1>as an exclusive this week for Uncrowned, and so that's
<v Speaker 1>what we did. So that's also the benefit of doing
<v Speaker 1>the show on Tuesday, where it comes in handy sometimes.
<v Speaker 1>But anyway, I'm glad you guys are enjoying the content. Hogdog,
<v Speaker 1>thank you very much. Death Side says. For those who
<v Speaker 1>say it was ridiculous that Steve Austin won the ninety
<v Speaker 1>seven Royal Rumble and did not get a WWF title shot,
<v Speaker 1>I disagree. He got something better. He got Brett Hart. Well,
<v Speaker 1>now you're just kissing up to Brett Hart. Now, Well,
<v Speaker 1>the reason he didn't get a title shot is because
<v Speaker 1>he cheated. He did not technically win the Royal Rumble.
<v Speaker 1>He was eliminated. He didn't deserve it. He didn't deserve
<v Speaker 1>a title shot. It's not Brett's falt that the referees
<v Speaker 1>were so incompetent they didn't see him dump the man
<v Speaker 1>out to the floor. Randy Bobandi with a nine ninety nine.
<v Speaker 1>My coworker gave me a prick. My coworker, let's start
<v Speaker 1>over again. My coworker gave me a pack of Pokemon cards.
<v Speaker 1>Thank god, Solo doesn't work with me because he would
<v Speaker 1>have taken those immediately because Pokemon cards are not allowed
<v Speaker 1>at work. That is true. That is true. They are
<v Speaker 1>not allowed at day camp. You remember that story. I
<v Speaker 1>was a very strict counselor those are the rules, and
<v Speaker 1>they're not allowed at work either. Walter Palasios, Here's to
<v Speaker 1>a better month. Always here on Wednesdays, Walter Saluti, Sir,
<v Speaker 1>thank you. Walter is reporting for duty every Wednesday. Warhawk,
<v Speaker 1>Rambo Aces and Eights owns the Bloodlines. Sorry not sort. Well,
<v Speaker 1>let's not get carried away now here. You know what,
<v Speaker 1>I always used to compliment them on this one thing,
<v Speaker 1>no matter what, no matter how awful some of the
<v Speaker 1>segments were, they had kick ass music. They had really
<v Speaker 1>good theme music. I enjoyed that theme more than I
<v Speaker 1>do this deaf rebel garbage that we have now. Was
<v Speaker 1>it Dixie's husband, Surge, who was doing most of the
<v Speaker 1>music at that point? I know he was involved in
<v Speaker 1>the music during that time period. Good job, Serge. Can
<v Speaker 1>we get Surge back to do the music for WWA debt? Sithe?
<v Speaker 1>Max is gonna god Osprey into putting his title shot
<v Speaker 1>on the line against him at Redemption, isn't? I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>as hell hope, Now, that would be incredibly stupid. Them
<v Speaker 1>wrestling is not anything that would be too crazy, but
<v Speaker 1>him agreeing to put his shot on the line, that
<v Speaker 1>would be very dumb. And I say the same thing
<v Speaker 1>about anybody, like any Royal Rumble winner who would be
<v Speaker 1>willing to do that, Like Sewn Michaels did that one year,
<v Speaker 1>he put his shot on the line against Owen Hart,
<v Speaker 1>because that's what the babyface does. I'm like, yeah, if
<v Speaker 1>your baby face is a fucking moron, you just went
<v Speaker 1>through this grueling tournament and you're gonna allow yourself to
<v Speaker 1>be goaded into putting your championship match on the line
<v Speaker 1>in one match, You're an idiot. You deserve to lose
<v Speaker 1>your shot if you do that. Asu Amy, the cat
<v Speaker 1>abuse in the movie you keep pushing is disgusting, really
<v Speaker 1>super strange. You want everyone to see that says a
<v Speaker 1>lot about you. I have no idea what you're talking about.
<v Speaker 1>Are you talking about obsession? Come on, get over it.
<v Speaker 1>It's a fucking movie. Seriously, get over it. This is
<v Speaker 1>what you're complaining about. This is what you're bitching about. Please,
<v Speaker 1>says a lot about you. Yes, it makes me a
<v Speaker 1>bad person. That I put over a movie that I
<v Speaker 1>enjoyed because there's a few fake scenes in the movie
<v Speaker 1>where a cat gets killed. Give me a fucking break. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>now you piss me off. Seriously. Yeah, it's one thing
<v Speaker 1>to say that you didn't enjoy the movie because of it,
<v Speaker 1>you didn't enjoy the scene, or how can you recommend
<v Speaker 1>something like that? To say, oh, says a lot about you. Seriously,
<v Speaker 1>take take that shit somewhere else, Get off your high
<v Speaker 1>horse and cut the crap. Randy Bobandi with a nineteen
<v Speaker 1>ninety nine If Billy Gunn did not get hurt in
<v Speaker 1>two thousand, do you see the Hardy's, the Dudley's and
<v Speaker 1>edgend Christian getting the spotlight and title reigns like they did?
<v Speaker 1>The Outlaws had the stranglehold over the titles at the time. Um,
<v Speaker 1>Billy Gunn, what was the injury that he had? I
<v Speaker 1>don't remember him. I don't remember what the injury was
<v Speaker 1>that he had. Honestly, do they get the Do they
<v Speaker 1>get the rain that they did? I think they probably do.
<v Speaker 1>I think they do. I think it all works out
<v Speaker 1>in the end. I think they were looking for something
<v Speaker 1>fresh and something new. Maybe the Outlaws would have been
<v Speaker 1>involved in some of those matches. Maybe maybe it would
<v Speaker 1>have been a four way instead of a three way,
<v Speaker 1>you know, TLC. Who knows, but I think I think
<v Speaker 1>it all would have worked out okay for them. Uh.
<v Speaker 1>Stadium Jay says, this stipulation that Max has been using
<v Speaker 1>is diabolical. That's like a gen Z thing. I see.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody loves using that word diabolical. Death Side says, since
<v Speaker 1>the next stream is on Friday, since I am late
<v Speaker 1>giving my three hour SmackDown eulogy, I say, now quaintest
<v Speaker 1>thoughts and queerest fancies come to life and fade away.
<v Speaker 1>What care I have as SmackDown reduces. I am drinking
<v Speaker 1>ale today. That kind of brings it a little tear
<v Speaker 1>to my eye. There. That's deeply moving. Death Side. I'm
<v Speaker 1>very impressed. Good morning, Chezzah, good morning to you. Nick
<v Speaker 1>Grossa says, just the obsession. Uh, oh, you better be careful.
<v Speaker 1>Some people don't like that. It's just the obsession. And wow,
<v Speaker 1>what a wild movie. But I thought it was great
<v Speaker 1>and deserves all the praise it gets. Ten out of ten. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>well says a lot about you, Nick. Thank you. Nick.
<v Speaker 1>Death Side says, I hope we can get at least
<v Speaker 1>one segment with Roman Reigns and Dan Housen as Tribal
<v Speaker 1>Housen also, So how do you think that segment would
<v Speaker 1>play out. I don't think Roman Reigns would would would
<v Speaker 1>allow it if they I think if they pitched it
<v Speaker 1>to him, he would just flat out reject it and say, no,
<v Speaker 1>we're not doing that. I mean, the Sammy stuff was comedic,
<v Speaker 1>but it it worked in a way that this. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not saying it wouldn't be entertaining, but I don't think
<v Speaker 1>they want to drag it down to comedy levels. So
<v Speaker 1>I don't think Roman would would okay it. Hey EJ
<v Speaker 1>coming in with the four ninety nine, thank you EJ.
<v Speaker 1>The Bloodline stuff. Right now, they're in there. They're in
<v Speaker 1>their cinema phase. They're not going to reduce it to
<v Speaker 1>comedy fodder. On the show, death Side says I thought
<v Speaker 1>the Rock versus Big Show no way out was there
<v Speaker 1>way of getting Big Show out of the way. But
<v Speaker 1>they had Big Show win lol WWF. Well, we had
<v Speaker 1>to have a McMahon in every corner. It was very important.
<v Speaker 1>Randy with a nineteen ninety nine and then another one
<v Speaker 1>and says I'll be the team player tonight bonus goal unlocked.
<v Speaker 1>He was the one that put us over the top.
<v Speaker 1>Hat tip to Randy Man. Randy is he's taking a
<v Speaker 1>victory lap? What he's doing that side says when a
<v Speaker 1>male wrestler is either the champion or just won the
<v Speaker 1>championship and he's about to be cashed in on how
<v Speaker 1>come they kicked the guy in the dick for the
<v Speaker 1>DQ because they want to keep their title? Are you
<v Speaker 1>talking about the person trying to save their title? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>if you were going to incapacitate your opponent, that's kind
<v Speaker 1>of what you would do. And as we've learned, many
<v Speaker 1>of these wrestlers they don't know any better, so they
<v Speaker 1>don't wear any protection down there. Warhawk Rambo MJF against
<v Speaker 1>Omega is going to end it a DQ or something, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>some sort of screwy finish, Warhawk says Solo. Does Carlos
<v Speaker 1>Silva make Dixie Carter look like Paul Hayman, Boy, that's
<v Speaker 1>a mental photoshop image right there that this flashed before
<v Speaker 1>my eyes. Dixie Carter, either Dixie Carter made out to
<v Speaker 1>look like Paul Hayman, or Paul Hayman made out to
<v Speaker 1>look like Dixie Carter's that's quite the quite the image.
<v Speaker 1>Does Silva make Dixie look like Hayman? Silva is a
<v Speaker 1>corporate guy, you Knowie, Dixie came from the world of
<v Speaker 1>public relations, that was her experience, and all of a
<v Speaker 1>sudden she was the head of a wrestling company. Silva
<v Speaker 1>Silva is a corporate guy, you know, and he was
<v Speaker 1>brought in to do things like what they're doing, where
<v Speaker 1>you kind of trim the fat, you cut costs, you
<v Speaker 1>make the company look very attractive for a future sale,
<v Speaker 1>even if it's not happening right now. He's doing everything
<v Speaker 1>they brought him in to do. He's not He's not
<v Speaker 1>a wrestling guy any more than Dixie was. EJ says
<v Speaker 1>to me Stan Hansen is the greatest guid gin ever
<v Speaker 1>because he paved the way for every guidgin who followed. Also,
<v Speaker 1>did anyone throw a better lariat? No? Jbl for a
<v Speaker 1>pretty mean one, but Hanson. Hanson's number one. He's at
<v Speaker 1>the top of the list. I wouldn't argue with you
<v Speaker 1>if that was your argument that he's the greatest, you know,
<v Speaker 1>foreign talent to hit Japan Super Pony four ninety nine.
<v Speaker 1>I'm calling ko versus Sammy at SummerSlam. I genuinely don't
<v Speaker 1>know what else Sammy does after oh after he if
<v Speaker 1>he drops the if he drops the title. I don't
<v Speaker 1>see another triple threat. Probably not, probably not, but uh yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean we'll, we'll, we'll address it next week. I
<v Speaker 1>won't get into any of the spoilers here. E J says,
<v Speaker 1>based on Tony Khn's booking style, which of my Mount
<v Speaker 1>Rushmore would have would he have pushed the best? I
<v Speaker 1>see which member of your Mount Rushmore would Tony Khan
<v Speaker 1>have pushed the best? Harley Race. I assume he means
<v Speaker 1>Harley Race, not Harley Cameron, Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkle, Terry
<v Speaker 1>Funk or Brett Hart. I you know, I would say Brett. Honestly.
<v Speaker 1>From that list, I would say Brett. He want us
<v Speaker 1>to know in what order? Actually it might be Funk.
<v Speaker 1>It's definitely Funk or Brett in the number one spot,
<v Speaker 1>and whoever's number one, the other guy's number two, and
<v Speaker 1>then I would say Bockwinkle and then Harley at the bottom.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like that's how he would rank them, or
<v Speaker 1>that's the order in which he would really push them.
<v Speaker 1>We have super Pony owed to the Mets by the
<v Speaker 1>Strokes is such a great song for such a shitty
<v Speaker 1>baseball team. I can't stand watching them anymore. They've caused
<v Speaker 1>me so much pain. I know, brother, I know, they're
<v Speaker 1>a terrible team. They're a terrible disappointment, nothing but pain.
<v Speaker 1>I sent a tweet to Dan Housen today asking him
<v Speaker 1>because he had uncursed the Mets back in April. And
<v Speaker 1>I sent him a tweet today and I said, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think you're uncursing of the Mets worked. So I
<v Speaker 1>asked him if he could do it again. I said,
<v Speaker 1>I have human monies. He hasn't replied to me yet,
<v Speaker 1>so I don't think we're gonna I think there are
<v Speaker 1>just certain curses that are just too powerful for even
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen to lift. Justin says Happy Canada Day and
<v Speaker 1>Brett Hart Day. That's the one from earlier. Thank you. Justin.
<v Speaker 1>EJ says wish you would have gotten the Milwaukee versions
<v Speaker 1>of Peralta, Williams, and Sterns. They lost all three to
<v Speaker 1>the Mets, their manager to the Cubs and still keep winning.
<v Speaker 1>Good for them, warhow Rambo? How many likes came from
<v Speaker 1>discord links. I was on a bunch of my servers
<v Speaker 1>promoting the stream just curious. Oh, I have no way
<v Speaker 1>of knowing. There's no way to know who who are,
<v Speaker 1>where the likes are from. It doesn't there's no list,
<v Speaker 1>The number just goes up. There's no way for me
<v Speaker 1>to know. But I appreciate you spreading the word for
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure. I'm sure some of them came from that,
<v Speaker 1>So I appreciate that. Death Sithe. I have an anime
<v Speaker 1>recommendation for everyone. It's called Angels of Death. There's sixteen
<v Speaker 1>episodes and it's essentially what happens when the final girl
<v Speaker 1>teams up with the slasher villain. Wow, like a swerve?
<v Speaker 1>How about that? That sounds interesting? Angels of Death? If it,
<v Speaker 1>where is it airing? Is it on Netflix? EJ Slims's
<v Speaker 1>Happy Birthday Brett? I love Brett more than solo, Monster
<v Speaker 1>loves the ninety two rumble. Well, that is just impossible.
<v Speaker 1>I find that very hard to believe. And death Sithe
<v Speaker 1>with another learning tree, says sorry, I meant to say,
<v Speaker 1>how come the champion who was about to be cashed
<v Speaker 1>in on never thinks to wait until the bell rings
<v Speaker 1>and then goes low on the money in the bank. Winner. Well,
<v Speaker 1>if it's a babyface, that's just not the way WWE
<v Speaker 1>books their babyfaces. See, if you had a smart babyface,
<v Speaker 1>then that's what they would do. Because you do what
<v Speaker 1>you need to do to keep your title. It's already
<v Speaker 1>unfair that you're being cashed in on. You just wrestled.
<v Speaker 1>I would have no issues doing that. I would kick
<v Speaker 1>him in the dick. I would do whatever it takes.
<v Speaker 1>I would break the eyes, I would hook the tights,
<v Speaker 1>bash them in the head with a ball, peen hammer,
<v Speaker 1>you know, whatever it takes. You're not wrong, but you're
<v Speaker 1>also looking for common sense where common sense typically does
<v Speaker 1>not exist. Spanish Goddish, Did you see that New York
<v Speaker 1>lost Mitchell Robinson to Boston? Yes, I did see that.
<v Speaker 1>Of all the teams for him to go to, why
<v Speaker 1>did it have to be the Celtics? Why did it
<v Speaker 1>have to be the Celtics. Literally, he could have gone
<v Speaker 1>anywhere else, but he had to go to the Celtics
<v Speaker 1>and boots with another five. I'm looking at a listing
<v Speaker 1>of WWF no mercy on the N sixty four. Part
<v Speaker 1>of the description reads as jump into the ring with
<v Speaker 1>the biggest, baddest JOm Broni's around or Jam Bronie's Jam
<v Speaker 1>Bronie's Well, I mean, they didn't hire a copy editor
<v Speaker 1>for the video game, so this is what happens, tem Gen,
<v Speaker 1>What's going on? Temjen? He says, has anybody seen The Furious?
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to. People recommended it and I checked and
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't. I think it's just out of the theater here,
<v Speaker 1>so it's not showing now, so I'll have to wait
<v Speaker 1>until it hits digital, which probably won't be too much longer.
<v Speaker 1>But I am thinking about reserving my tickets for the Odyssey.
<v Speaker 1>It's not out for another two weeks, two and a
<v Speaker 1>half weeks, and I just happened to go look and
<v Speaker 1>it's already like the theater is already almost sold out.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm like, do I want to see it? It's
<v Speaker 1>a long movie, but it's Nolan Nolan. Nolan is just
<v Speaker 1>one of the best directors in the world. Do I
<v Speaker 1>see it in Imax? Know? Like the theater that I
<v Speaker 1>normally go to has one of these we call them Limax.
<v Speaker 1>They're not really Imax. It's like marginally bigger than Imax,
<v Speaker 1>but it's really it's it's a small Imax screen and
<v Speaker 1>I know this was shot in some different formats seventy
<v Speaker 1>millimeters or something, so I'm like, doesn't even matter, you know,
<v Speaker 1>Like these Imax tickets are like fucking thirty forty dollars?
<v Speaker 1>Should I see it in Standard? Should I see it
<v Speaker 1>in just you know, Limax? I don't know. Everything's so complicated.
<v Speaker 1>I just want to go see the fucking movie. Now.
<v Speaker 1>I gotta figure out, like what format I want to
<v Speaker 1>see it in. It's get the fuck out of here.
<v Speaker 1>Man EJ says. I'm convinced Hogan was never really a babyface,
<v Speaker 1>and Brett was never really a heel, at least not
<v Speaker 1>in cam Hogan. I told you for years on the
<v Speaker 1>show this would come up. Hogan was never a real babyface.
<v Speaker 1>He was a heel masquerading around as a babyface. If
<v Speaker 1>you ever watched him wrestle, dude, he wrestled like a heel.
<v Speaker 1>He cheated all like Jesse Ventura was right. He cheated
<v Speaker 1>all the time, eye gouges and backbreaks. He would not
<v Speaker 1>hesitate taking a shortcut, and the people fell for it.
<v Speaker 1>Spanish Godtish said, Hey, the Celtics made one of the
<v Speaker 1>worst trades ever today. Lol. Don Stony shout out to
<v Speaker 1>Don Tony Wrestling Soup Spitball Media and as always, rest
<v Speaker 1>in peace Kevin Castle. Yes, indeed rip to keV and
<v Speaker 1>I missed that guy. Thank you Don Stony and HEJ
<v Speaker 1>Slimp says Brett main evented a bigger crowd than Hogan
<v Speaker 1>andre his international drawing power shuts down the he wasn't
<v Speaker 1>a draw argument fast well, he drew that crowd working
<v Speaker 1>an Englishman on a stadium show in London. So I
<v Speaker 1>think Bulldog had a lot to do with that. That's
<v Speaker 1>the only reason they ran Wembley. They were going to
<v Speaker 1>run Brett and Sean in a ladder match in DC,
<v Speaker 1>and once they realize, okay, we're gonna do Brett Bulldog here,
<v Speaker 1>they made the decision to do it in London. And also,
<v Speaker 1>you know, in ninety two business was not good. Business
<v Speaker 1>was not good, and they had a lot of names.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they had Hogan for a while there, they
<v Speaker 1>had Savage and Flair, and Brett was kind of on
<v Speaker 1>the ascent. They still had Piper, Undertaker, Jake. It's a
<v Speaker 1>great fucking roster they had, but business was not great.
<v Speaker 1>Internationally though, business was tremendous for them, so they would
<v Speaker 1>go to Europe, and they would work all of these
<v Speaker 1>different cities and these different countries, and business was a
<v Speaker 1>hell of a lot hotter for them overseas at that
<v Speaker 1>time than it was here in the States. So there
<v Speaker 1>were a lot of reasons that went into them running Wembley. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I'm as big of a Brett fan as anybody, but
<v Speaker 1>you can't say that that is some sort of end all,
<v Speaker 1>be all argument for why Brett was some big draw.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, eh, I can't really say that was all
<v Speaker 1>Brett in Spanish Goddish. So I was at Forbidden Door
<v Speaker 1>on Sunday, a solid eight out of ten show. I
<v Speaker 1>feel like they could have cut back time on some
<v Speaker 1>of the match O. Yeah, you think every match on
<v Speaker 1>the show went twenty minutes? Says also shout out to
<v Speaker 1>Rocky Romero. Got to take a photo with him. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Rocky's a nice guy. Rocky Romero. He does a lot
<v Speaker 1>more these days outside the ring than he does inside
<v Speaker 1>the ring. And you know, obviously works with New Japan.
<v Speaker 1>He's sort of a liaison between the two different companies,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the go between. You know, he's an important
<v Speaker 1>person and by all accounts, he's a nice dude, bulldog
<v Speaker 1>won that match, whether he wanted to or not. That's right.
<v Speaker 1>Oh where is that kid today? What a haircut on
<v Speaker 1>that kid too. They were interviewing fans before the show
<v Speaker 1>at Wemble and there's this one kid and look, I
<v Speaker 1>I don't even remember it if that was a boy
<v Speaker 1>or a girl. That was another that was a whole
<v Speaker 1>other thing. Like people thought it was a boy, but
<v Speaker 1>I think it was a girl. But maybe not. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. But the British bulldog is gonna win, whether
<v Speaker 1>he wants to or not. I'm like, what a weird
<v Speaker 1>thing to say. I wonder where that person is today.
<v Speaker 1>All right, so we are at five hundred and eighteen
<v Speaker 1>likes and the wheel said four seventy five. So we
<v Speaker 1>blew past that and we hit the bonus goal, which
<v Speaker 1>means we got a couple of rounds here coming our
<v Speaker 1>way and be the booker. I got a good feeling
<v Speaker 1>about this tonight. Now time to be the book Thank
<v Speaker 1>you Spanish Scottish. It was a girl. She did the
<v Speaker 1>thing as an adult a while ago. Wow, it was
<v Speaker 1>a girl. Yeah. Sometimes when you're a kid and you
<v Speaker 1>have these haircuts, it's you don't want to offend somebody.
<v Speaker 1>You just don't know. I remember there was a kid
<v Speaker 1>in my elementary school class, the boy, but the haircut
<v Speaker 1>that he had. Everybody thought he was a girl and
<v Speaker 1>he got picked on and he was terrible. Kids can
<v Speaker 1>be very cruel, let me tell you, especially girls is
<v Speaker 1>one thing that I know. I mean, not that boys
<v Speaker 1>are much better, but like the girls were like brutal
<v Speaker 1>to each other. My goodness, it's awful. I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what it is. All right, here we go,
<v Speaker 1>tag team, be the booker. The bowl haircut. Look, there
<v Speaker 1>was a point in time where I wanted a bowl haircut.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it might be a good look for me.
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad I was talked out of it. Can you
<v Speaker 1>imagine me with a bowl haircut? Is Obafemi and be
<v Speaker 1>the booker? Yes he is. We got the Luca Bros.
<v Speaker 1>We got Penta, and we got Ray Phoenix. Maybe one
<v Speaker 1>day we'll see these two back together, the Luca Brothers.
<v Speaker 1>Tag team be the booker against the Usos. Now would
<v Speaker 1>that be considered a dream match? Because it's a doable match? Right?
<v Speaker 1>They all work for the same company. Now, people throw
<v Speaker 1>that word around so much. It's a big one though.
<v Speaker 1>That's a big one. Do we get Alex Abrahantes Now
<v Speaker 1>he's too busy. He's busy on QBC promoting all of
<v Speaker 1>the HP laptops. I saw him the other day flipping
<v Speaker 1>around like there's Alex. There's Alex. He's selling the latest
<v Speaker 1>HP laptop. All right, women's be the booker. We have
<v Speaker 1>Becky two belts. It is Becky Lynch. It's a big
<v Speaker 1>one right there. That's a big name. So we need
<v Speaker 1>another big name for her to step into the ring with.
<v Speaker 1>Get We need a drum roll for a big name.
<v Speaker 1>We gotta bust out the drum roll. Becky Lynch against
<v Speaker 1>Page and you know what, that's another one that is
<v Speaker 1>absolutely doable now because they're both under the same roof,
<v Speaker 1>they're working for the same company, Becky and Page. That
<v Speaker 1>could be a thing at some point. And our night
<v Speaker 1>one main event, we got another one coming up. We
<v Speaker 1>gotta do this one first. Darby Allen. This will be
<v Speaker 1>a very polarizing one. Some people don't think he should
<v Speaker 1>be in the main event. He's too small. I can't
<v Speaker 1>take him seriously. I heard this when he was the champion.
<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen in the main even Hey, you know Sting
<v Speaker 1>isn't be the book or wouldn't that be something if
<v Speaker 1>we landed on sting. I don't know why it always
<v Speaker 1>freezes on that. It always like briefly freezes on that
<v Speaker 1>with the rock and his his soul. Let's try that
<v Speaker 1>again here threw me off, Darby Allen against the honorary
<v Speaker 1>oose Sammy Zain the WWE. I can actually sit here.
<v Speaker 1>I may not be able to say this a week
<v Speaker 1>from now, so I'm gonna say it now. The WWE
<v Speaker 1>champion Samy, and that, by the way, is I almost forgot.
<v Speaker 1>That's a clean sweep. That is a clean sweep. Not
<v Speaker 1>a bad match either, not bad at all. Okay, you
<v Speaker 1>guys earned it, you unlocked it, you put the key
<v Speaker 1>in the hole, the door opened, and now we get
<v Speaker 1>a second round of be the Booker. Can we go
<v Speaker 1>for the double sweep? Can we do? It? Doesn't happen
<v Speaker 1>very often. We're gonna pick a stipulation. This is what
<v Speaker 1>we do with the bonus round. By the way, we
<v Speaker 1>have a and I have to update this, but we
<v Speaker 1>have a stipulations round. So we're starting with last man's standing.
<v Speaker 1>So we have to do a singles match here. We
<v Speaker 1>have no choice. I mean, I guess you can technically
<v Speaker 1>do a last man standing tag team match, but that
<v Speaker 1>would be kind of dumb. Yeah, the booker the other night,
<v Speaker 1>it shows violence. We did monsters ball, we did what
<v Speaker 1>else did we do? Was there an exploding barbed wire
<v Speaker 1>death match in there? And there was some other hardcore stipulation?
<v Speaker 1>It was out for blood? All right? We have Kane.
<v Speaker 1>You know, we just passed the anniversary the twenty was
<v Speaker 1>it twenty eight years? Twenty eight year anniversary of Caine's
<v Speaker 1>twenty four hours as the WWF champion. Caine is going
<v Speaker 1>to be in a last man standing match against Ooh,
<v Speaker 1>this is a good one. This is a good one.
<v Speaker 1>Og Kin. Actually he's from ninety eight to this version
<v Speaker 1>of Sting og Kane against Crow Sting from ninety eight. Basically,
<v Speaker 1>if you took this Sting that year and put him
<v Speaker 1>in the ring with Kane, this is what we just
<v Speaker 1>booked here and be the booker. How's that for a match?
<v Speaker 1>That's awesome? All right? Stipulation number two is a stretcher match.
<v Speaker 1>Put your opponent on the stretcher. You gotta wheel the
<v Speaker 1>stretcher over the yellow line, and you win the match.
<v Speaker 1>That doesn't sound like a wrestling match. That sounds like
<v Speaker 1>some sort of obstacle. Course, we'll do the women. How
<v Speaker 1>about that, We'll do a women's stretcher match. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know that there ever has been a women's stretcher match,
<v Speaker 1>now that I think about it, not in WWE anyway.
<v Speaker 1>All Right, we have Julia. Oh I'm missed this version
<v Speaker 1>of Julia. Where has this version of Julia gone? Can
<v Speaker 1>we get her back? Please? What have they done to her?
<v Speaker 1>That's stardom? Julia in a stretcher match against Ivory Ivey
<v Speaker 1>was the hell of a wrestler her days ago, all
<v Speaker 1>the way back to Glow in the late eighties. All right,
<v Speaker 1>Gina already glow Ivory against stardom Julia. I like it.
<v Speaker 1>I think we're gonna forego the tag team match. We're
<v Speaker 1>gonna go right to our main event. Now, this is
<v Speaker 1>what we're gonna do. We're gonna pick one last stipulation.
<v Speaker 1>And actually, I think, in addition to this, because you
<v Speaker 1>guys have just been killing it all night tonight, I
<v Speaker 1>think we'll do a fourth match, and we'll make it intergender.
<v Speaker 1>How does that sound? We have a ladder match. Okay, see,
<v Speaker 1>let's see what we got we've got the Big Boss Man.
<v Speaker 1>We landed on him the other night. We just landed
<v Speaker 1>on the Big boss Man the other night in a
<v Speaker 1>ladder match. Oh my goodness, the Big Boss Man in
<v Speaker 1>a ladder match against the Beast Mortos. Mortos is awesome.
<v Speaker 1>But unfortunately he's dealing with visa issues, which is why
<v Speaker 1>he just dropped off the face of the earth. So
<v Speaker 1>we haven't seen him lately. Mercedes has been keeping him busy.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure, but I said we were going to book
<v Speaker 1>an intergender match. We went three out of three back
<v Speaker 1>to back times. Are we going to ruin it though?
<v Speaker 1>Because if we add the one more match and we
<v Speaker 1>fuck it up, then technically that sweep that we just
<v Speaker 1>beld doesn't really count, all right, So this is going
<v Speaker 1>to be an intergender match. We don't do these very often.
<v Speaker 1>So let's see on the women's side first, Let's see
<v Speaker 1>who's going to be in this match. Here we go
<v Speaker 1>Chris Statlander. Funny enough, she has the TBS Championship in
<v Speaker 1>her hand here in this image, the TBS Championship that
<v Speaker 1>she failed to win tonight on Dynamite. So we have
<v Speaker 1>Chris Statlander on one side and on the other side,
<v Speaker 1>should be very interesting here Statlander is going to get
<v Speaker 1>in the ring with oh my god, big Papa Pump
<v Speaker 1>Scott Steiner. Fuck it, I'll give it the bell anyway.
<v Speaker 1>That would be quite the contest, you know, Chris Statlander
<v Speaker 1>is she's a powerful lady herself, but against Big Papa Pump.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think the chances are very good. For in fact,
<v Speaker 1>he'd be giving us some of that Steiner math right now,
<v Speaker 1>telling us she only has a thirty percent chance of
<v Speaker 1>victory here in this match. Look at this man's arms
<v Speaker 1>like it is. It's just it's inhuman. It is inhuman.
<v Speaker 1>It's just it's not possible. This looks like AI. But
<v Speaker 1>it's a real image. That would be something I'm trying
<v Speaker 1>to picture that Scott Steiner and Chris Statlander in the
<v Speaker 1>ring together. Spanish Goddish says, add doctor Wagner Junior to
<v Speaker 1>be the booker, Eh, why boring? There's more exciting people
<v Speaker 1>that we could be adding to be the booker. It's
<v Speaker 1>been a while since I've given the Men's round or refresh.
<v Speaker 1>I'll have to work on some updates to it and
<v Speaker 1>the state I have other rounds I've been meaning. I
<v Speaker 1>want to add a manager's round, So every now and then,
<v Speaker 1>maybe for an extra goal or something, we could add managers,
<v Speaker 1>multi generations of managers to choose from there. Bobby Heenan,
<v Speaker 1>Captain Lou Jimmy Hart, Paul bar Gary Hart, Paul Hayman, Sable,
<v Speaker 1>Sonny Marlena, JJ Dillon. The list is endless. Is Blackheart
<v Speaker 1>Leo Rush he is not. Thank you for reminding me.
<v Speaker 1>I will have to add Blackheart Leo Rush to the
<v Speaker 1>list of names. Any suggestions that you have, maybe I
<v Speaker 1>haven't thought of any recent people that might not be
<v Speaker 1>in there. I'll take those suggestions. You can email me
<v Speaker 1>the Solomn Monster at gmail dot com or leave a
<v Speaker 1>comment below this video. Hey, this was fun. This was
<v Speaker 1>a fun review. This was the liveliest Dynamite review we've
<v Speaker 1>had in a while, which was good to see and
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate all the support. This is the way you
<v Speaker 1>kick off a brand new month. Now there's no WWE
<v Speaker 1>pay per views this month. Well, I'm sorry, plees. Saturday
<v Speaker 1>Night's main event is not technically a pl I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>but we do have that coming up on July eighteenth.
<v Speaker 1>We have Redemption coming up on the twenty six I
<v Speaker 1>guess those are the two big shows Beach Break next
<v Speaker 1>week shaping up to be a big one. There's going
<v Speaker 1>to I will tell you this, There's gonna be a
<v Speaker 1>big match on Raw in Chicago next week. So we
<v Speaker 1>got that coming up, and otherwise we should we should
<v Speaker 1>be basically following a normal schedule. I don't really foresee
<v Speaker 1>there being any preemptions. There's no hog shows that are
<v Speaker 1>taking me away this month. That'll be uh, that'll be
<v Speaker 1>the following few months we have coming up. But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>hit that like button on your way out if you
<v Speaker 1>have not already done. So, as I mentioned earlier, we
<v Speaker 1>have get out of here fucking wheel. The Uncrowned Wrestling
<v Speaker 1>Show went up yesterday on the Ariel Helwani Show feed
<v Speaker 1>or the separate feed for the Uncrowned Wrestling Show specifically,
<v Speaker 1>you can get the show in either place. It's the
<v Speaker 1>same show, just two different ways of streaming it. And
<v Speaker 1>so the full Forbidden Door review is up there, plus
<v Speaker 1>I talk about TNA slam Avers and of course a
<v Speaker 1>lot of the WWE stuff as well a couple of
<v Speaker 1>other news and notes in there. So be sure to
<v Speaker 1>go ahead and check that out. And then the next
<v Speaker 1>time I'm live with you, even though it's a tape show.
<v Speaker 1>On Friday, I will be live for SmackDown. Thankfully, SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>is back to two hours this week, so it's eight
<v Speaker 1>to ten. I'll be live around ten thirty. We get
<v Speaker 1>to go live about an hour earlier than usual, and
<v Speaker 1>we'll talk about SmackDown. It sounds like there'll be some
<v Speaker 1>eventful stuff going on there from what I understand, and
<v Speaker 1>then we have the sound off coming up this weekend,
<v Speaker 1>episode nine seventy, and onward we go. So Tempton says,
<v Speaker 1>I'll listen to Uncrowned at work later today. So that's
<v Speaker 1>a good idea. You don't want to be doing work.
<v Speaker 1>Work is boring, right sitting in an office, maybe a
<v Speaker 1>cubicle board, out of your mind. That's where the Uncrowned
<v Speaker 1>show will come in very handy. Be well, stay safe,
<v Speaker 1>have yourselves a great rest of your night. If you
<v Speaker 1>are in a place where it's going to be very
<v Speaker 1>hot tomorrow, like it will be here out on the
<v Speaker 1>East Coast, do hydrate. That's a very real thing. I
<v Speaker 1>had family members that have forgotten to hydrate and then
<v Speaker 1>they pass out, and so it's not a good situation.
<v Speaker 1>So it's gonna be ninety something degrees here in New York.
<v Speaker 1>Just be safe and I'll see you back here for
<v Speaker 1>the smackdownstream on Friday night. So until then, take care, guys.
<v Speaker 1>Thanks for the love.
