<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katie and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>It's funny off the air here in the studio. We've
<v Speaker 2>been talking about chicken salad like crazy.
<v Speaker 1>Rooling and dreaming.
<v Speaker 2>It's actually on my menu tonight. I'm gonna be throwing
<v Speaker 2>a couple hold chickens on my tragger and shredding them
<v Speaker 2>up and making some chicken salad sandwiches tonight. Yeah, Mazo, classy, af.
<v Speaker 1>Smunk chicken chicken sound you no, either of I.
<v Speaker 2>Actually, so this is gonna be a first so we'll
<v Speaker 2>see how it turns out.
<v Speaker 3>I guess it goes sounds really really good. It does.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Josh had some chicken salad san which is yesterday
<v Speaker 2>I did.
<v Speaker 4>So we have talked about the chicken salad chick that
<v Speaker 4>has been around here for a little bit now, and
<v Speaker 4>the old GF she was begging to go. She's like,
<v Speaker 4>I've heard about this, I want to go, and I
<v Speaker 4>was like, you know what, let's go. Last night we
<v Speaker 4>decided to take the trip down to DTC where they
<v Speaker 4>just where they just recently opened, and uh, it lived
<v Speaker 4>up to the hype. I got there first of all,
<v Speaker 4>I love how they do it. They have a section
<v Speaker 4>that's all a cart, which is basically all of their
<v Speaker 4>chicken salad there and you can just grab and go.
<v Speaker 4>I love that, and I think I might do that
<v Speaker 4>again because of how much I loved it. But then
<v Speaker 4>ther menu super simple. They have the one scoop, the
<v Speaker 4>two scoop of the sandwich meal. I got the sandwich meal,
<v Speaker 4>and on the sandwich meal you can get two different flavors.
<v Speaker 4>So I was like, Okay, I want to try this,
<v Speaker 4>and I ended up getting the kick in Kaylin and
<v Speaker 4>the Olivia's Old South, so it was like a spicy
<v Speaker 4>jlapeno one and then the other one was like the normal,
<v Speaker 4>like you have egg and some pickle and all that
<v Speaker 4>type of stuff in the chicken salad.
<v Speaker 2>Do they have weird flavors like skittles, No.
<v Speaker 5>They don't stare out usually nothing strange, some strange trollium jelly.
<v Speaker 4>No.
<v Speaker 3>No, they have apples and apples.
<v Speaker 2>We put we put a dollup of Vix on it.
<v Speaker 2>Clease your sinuses.
<v Speaker 3>They do have the smoke version, though, which is what
<v Speaker 3>you're having tonight. They didn't go vix.
<v Speaker 4>The best part though, Katie, which I don't know if
<v Speaker 4>you can attest to this. Their desserts are insane they got.
<v Speaker 4>They have a whole red velvet cake for you can use.
<v Speaker 3>So good. And then on top of that, the cookies that.
<v Speaker 5>They make, yeah, the cookies them and they give you
<v Speaker 5>a cookie with each meal you order, so you have
<v Speaker 5>a little cookie on the side.
<v Speaker 1>But it's not even I mean, their chicken salad is money,
<v Speaker 1>so they do.
<v Speaker 5>It is so good, But they're bread that they put
<v Speaker 5>the homemade.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if it is.
<v Speaker 2>But I want to start making my own bread. You should,
<v Speaker 2>I really do. That's kind of on my list of
<v Speaker 2>things to start doing, is making my own bread because
<v Speaker 2>I just feel like being amish. But you keep I
<v Speaker 2>keep reading about how bad like store bought bread is
<v Speaker 2>for you. It's horrible, full of sugar and preservatives and
<v Speaker 2>fillers and all this crap, and I feel like, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I've got one of those fancy kitchen aid mixers, the
<v Speaker 2>ones that sit on the counter, you know, just to
<v Speaker 2>impress your friends. I want to start using that and
<v Speaker 2>make bread.
<v Speaker 3>You should reach out to Taylor Swift and try to
<v Speaker 3>give the sour dose.
<v Speaker 2>I want to make biscuits. I want to make rolls
<v Speaker 2>you can and bread for toasts.
<v Speaker 5>And from what I understand is once you start, you
<v Speaker 5>can't stop. You are then a bread maker. Oh we
<v Speaker 5>just brag about it to all your friends. You give
<v Speaker 5>bread as gifts.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, I would do Yeah, I would change my Instagram.
<v Speaker 2>It's like Denver Radio personality slash breadmakers.
<v Speaker 5>You go two ways, right, You either watch birds or
<v Speaker 5>you make bread.
<v Speaker 1>These are your two options I have.
<v Speaker 2>I've already started watching birds.
<v Speaker 1>Oh no, Geordie.
<v Speaker 2>I've been carrying candy in my pocket too. Somebody put
<v Speaker 2>me in a home, do you know what? Just for funies,
<v Speaker 2>I might put one of those electric wheelchair like ramp
<v Speaker 2>things up my stairs, you know, doing?
<v Speaker 3>Yes?
<v Speaker 2>Why not? Why starting out? Well, I'm sitting on it,
<v Speaker 2>going up. I can eat bread. Yeah, life is good.
<v Speaker 2>We'd like to give you a little sports report each
<v Speaker 2>and every day to JKJ. I got a couple things
<v Speaker 2>real quick before we get to joh. Good god. This
<v Speaker 2>soccer is still going on. But luckily they're starting to
<v Speaker 2>talk about the closing ceremony. Thank god. News is trickling
<v Speaker 2>out now that post Malone has been announced as the
<v Speaker 2>headliner for the FIFA World Cup closing ceremony on Sunday
<v Speaker 2>the nineteenth. In just a few days at MetLife Stadium. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>oh my god, wrap it up. I can't even tell
<v Speaker 2>you how sick I am of hearing about soccer well.
<v Speaker 5>And how does it go with closing ceremonies? Does he
<v Speaker 5>have to sing certain songs or does he get to
<v Speaker 5>sing his songs?
<v Speaker 2>That's a good question.
<v Speaker 3>Don't know. We haven't had one here since like ninety four.
<v Speaker 2>Some of some of the songs are failfy, I know
<v Speaker 2>those are the best ones.
<v Speaker 1>What is he gonna say?
<v Speaker 4>I'd probably do his country. The country are the family
<v Speaker 4>friendly ones.
<v Speaker 2>They say they have a larger entertainment lineup that includes
<v Speaker 2>Tom Cruise, what's he going to say, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira,
<v Speaker 2>BTS and Cold Play. So anyway, that's all wrapping up
<v Speaker 2>on Sunday if you want to joys some sweet tunes
<v Speaker 2>and finally put the nail in the coffin for the
<v Speaker 2>World Cup. I do have one more World Cup story
<v Speaker 2>that makes me giggle. Senegal, I believe it. Say you
<v Speaker 2>can ask the country out in West Africa. They're taking
<v Speaker 2>some heat right now because they just found out that
<v Speaker 2>their main team doctor that has been treating all these
<v Speaker 2>dudes on and off the field is actually a licensed gynecologist.
<v Speaker 3>Look to me.
<v Speaker 2>So apparently there's some drama behind the scenes during the tournament.
<v Speaker 2>He was removed from the team. Now, the Sports Medicine
<v Speaker 2>Association is defending this doctor, saying that whoa, whoa, whoa,
<v Speaker 2>hold on, he also has a little bit of experience
<v Speaker 2>in sports medicine and biology.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he's still a doctor, he's qualified.
<v Speaker 3>He knows biology.
<v Speaker 2>But it sounds like the gynecologist is taking heat because
<v Speaker 2>the country lost and they're kind of looking for a
<v Speaker 2>scapegoat right now, and all signs are portant to their guy. No,
<v Speaker 2>you know, because after each game he'd put the boys
<v Speaker 2>up in the stirrups.
<v Speaker 1>I guess for.
<v Speaker 2>Some reason, like but I pulled a hammy?
<v Speaker 1>Why am I right here?
<v Speaker 2>My elbow hurts? Yeah, is in his mouth. Sounds like
<v Speaker 2>he's not the only fall guy. The coach has also
<v Speaker 2>been fired from the team. But it is kind of
<v Speaker 2>funny that the guys there on the sports ball team
<v Speaker 2>have a guy of collegist on deck.
<v Speaker 3>Ready, good, something doesn't look.
<v Speaker 1>Like you twisted an ankle and you're pregnant.
<v Speaker 3>Stir up, Oh my god.
<v Speaker 1>Take this?
<v Speaker 2>What else is going on?
<v Speaker 4>We have a really neat golf story here that has
<v Speaker 4>some Colorado ties. The Open Championship, which is one of
<v Speaker 4>PGA tours for majors that has played throughout the season,
<v Speaker 4>is starting today and the major golfers there, like Scottie Scheffler,
<v Speaker 4>he's in the lead right now, and that's you know,
<v Speaker 4>they're all kind of running the leader board right there.
<v Speaker 4>But I have a cool story about Marcus Plunkett. He
<v Speaker 4>is a graduate from West Point where he did play
<v Speaker 4>golf in college. However, he served in the Army and
<v Speaker 4>actually made a tour in Afghanistan, and after spending his
<v Speaker 4>first year in South Korea, then he was transferred to
<v Speaker 4>Fort Carson, Colorado Springs.
<v Speaker 3>That's where he really started to take up golf.
<v Speaker 4>After a six month deployment in Afghanistan, he made his
<v Speaker 4>way back and was like, Hey, I could either re
<v Speaker 4>sign and kind of keep my military career going, or
<v Speaker 4>I could really try to push my golf career forward.
<v Speaker 4>He said that he started falling back in love with
<v Speaker 4>the game of golf at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs,
<v Speaker 4>and then once he was discharged, he was like, I'm
<v Speaker 4>going to start, you know, really pushing for my pro
<v Speaker 4>tour here in golf. He started making cuts on the
<v Speaker 4>Cornferry Tour, which is kind of like the minor leagues
<v Speaker 4>for the PGA Tour, and he started kind of piling
<v Speaker 4>up these wins or top ten finishes and things like that.
<v Speaker 4>And today he is going to be making his first
<v Speaker 4>PGA appearance in a major, which is a huge deal.
<v Speaker 4>There's like golf tournaments and then there's major tournaments. So
<v Speaker 4>he went from the road from Halalabad, Afghanistan to Colorado.
<v Speaker 4>Now he is in England right now with a chance
<v Speaker 4>to possibly win a major tournament in the PGA Tours.
<v Speaker 2>To him, I think that is so cool for me,
<v Speaker 2>very cool.
<v Speaker 3>I love that.
<v Speaker 4>I love golf obviously, and to see someone come from
<v Speaker 4>Colorado serving our country first of all, which really neat
<v Speaker 4>to go kind of chase his dream there.
<v Speaker 2>So we salute him. For sure.
<v Speaker 4>It's a long shot, but he's got a chance. So
<v Speaker 4>hats off to you, Marcus Plumb.
<v Speaker 2>And he's a kind of college yes sidework, Here go, guys.
<v Speaker 2>There's your sports report this morning with JK J, Jeremy,
<v Speaker 2>Katie and Josh Live and local at a Lone Tree, Colorado.
<v Speaker 2>Thanks for hanging out with us here.

<v Speaker 2>is officially celebrating ten years since Stranger Things first premiered. Wow,
<v Speaker 2>it's been a decade, my goodness, gracious to celebrate, you
<v Speaker 2>can watch the entire first season in a VHS special edition. Now,
<v Speaker 2>it doesn't mean they're sending out VHS tapes. What they've
<v Speaker 2>done is they've gone in and remastered the original first
<v Speaker 2>season to make it look like a VHS like you
<v Speaker 2>rented it back in eighty three or something. Anyway, there's
<v Speaker 2>tracking lines, some color bleeding, monitored distortion, kind of that warm,
<v Speaker 2>fuzzy audio crack that you got from the old school VHS's,
<v Speaker 2>and you can watch it, you know, all over again. Hey,
<v Speaker 2>guess guess what I'm not gonna do? Less quality, less quality,
<v Speaker 2>And they're like, I get the stick since that was
<v Speaker 2>set in the eighties, you know, so it might be
<v Speaker 2>kind of fun to watch one or two episodes like that,
<v Speaker 2>just all the hell's to the.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly know why in the world when I do that?
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, Hey guys, Julia White is coming back RCLE from
<v Speaker 2>Family Member Family Matters.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, Stephan Erkel, right, yeah, I loved him though.
<v Speaker 2>He's going to host a new HG TV series called
<v Speaker 2>Totally Nineties House, where two teams of nineties TV stars
<v Speaker 2>will compete to renovate homes that are stuck in the nineties.
<v Speaker 2>Those honeyoat cabinets and sponge painted walls.
<v Speaker 5>Let me tell you what punge in the feathery sponge
<v Speaker 5>and then the feathers mirrored closet doors.
<v Speaker 2>The one team is going to earn twenty five thousand
<v Speaker 2>dollars for a charity of their choosing the star. So
<v Speaker 2>they are bringing back air quotes. Brian Austin Green, Beverly Mitchell,
<v Speaker 2>Jody Sweeten, Yes, Melissa joon Hart, Matthew Lawrence, Oh my goodness,
<v Speaker 2>Keisha Knight poll Man, I know all these people and
<v Speaker 2>Joey Lawrence.
<v Speaker 1>I know every single one of those people.
<v Speaker 2>So six episodes premiere's Wednesday, August twenty six. You know what,
<v Speaker 2>that one might hook me?
<v Speaker 1>Melissa Joan Hart like, I just adore her?
<v Speaker 2>So do you absolutely right up your ally?
<v Speaker 4>Yes?
<v Speaker 2>And how about this? A new study is shown that
<v Speaker 2>the Toy Story franchise has produced fifty one billion dollars
<v Speaker 2>in global economic activity since nineteen ninety five. O seems less,
<v Speaker 2>does it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, that's a lot of money. My goodness.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, I know it's a long period of time
<v Speaker 5>to make that money, but still, yeahs seems low.
<v Speaker 2>I should I should fact check this story.
<v Speaker 1>How much did they say?
<v Speaker 2>Fifty one billion?
<v Speaker 1>That's a lot of money, Like, remember, way more than
<v Speaker 1>a million?
<v Speaker 2>Really, thank you.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for that, math my math.
<v Speaker 2>Be math fat your Facebook status today?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if you know?
<v Speaker 5>All marked a million, way more way more than I
<v Speaker 5>got a snake in my bt Okay water World.
<v Speaker 3>We love that.
<v Speaker 5>That's where you spend your summer, right and the brand
<v Speaker 5>new Summit Canyon area that's going to be open July
<v Speaker 5>twenty fifth.
<v Speaker 1>They're having a big ceremony.
<v Speaker 2>My son was just there for an entire day with
<v Speaker 2>a bunch of his buddies, and he was so bummed
<v Speaker 2>because he's like, we wanted to do that new area
<v Speaker 2>and he's like, it opens in just like a few days.
<v Speaker 5>It does, oh no, and it's a really big deal.
<v Speaker 5>They're going to have a whole party kind of thing
<v Speaker 5>going on that day. So it's July twenty fifth. They'll
<v Speaker 5>have a DJ, drinks, laid back vibes, it's a sunset
<v Speaker 5>swim and it is a week from tomorrow, so yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 5>make plans for that. My god, that just sounds like
<v Speaker 5>so much fun. Chow twenty fifth.
<v Speaker 1>I guess that would be the Saturday Saturday. This is
<v Speaker 1>twenty fifth. It is July twenty fifth, so I don't
<v Speaker 1>know when worth more than a million?
<v Speaker 4>Yes?
<v Speaker 1>Friday?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>Thanks?
<v Speaker 2>Say? Is the twenty fifth that's next the next Saturday?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, definitely check it out.
<v Speaker 3>It's water World.
<v Speaker 5>That's where you stay, you know, beat the heat for sure.
<v Speaker 5>Shy in Frontier Day, So that starts tomorrow and that's
<v Speaker 5>a big deal around here. We've got all kinds of
<v Speaker 5>acts coming through. Alex Warren is starting things up there,
<v Speaker 5>so he's gonna be alongside Noah.
<v Speaker 1>Cyrus, I believe so yeah.
<v Speaker 5>Blake Shelton, my guy, Riley Green also there, yes, yes, yes,
<v Speaker 5>so across the ten days stand they're gonna have all
<v Speaker 5>kinds of acts up there at chy in Frontier days.
<v Speaker 1>But that is a fun, fun time.
<v Speaker 2>Always wanted to go able to because you know, work
<v Speaker 2>gets in the way. But you've never been able to
<v Speaker 2>go to Shyne kids. I mean it's one of those
<v Speaker 2>things where I'd want to could just me and Nick
<v Speaker 2>Naco have fun or wait till.
<v Speaker 1>They get a little older, so yeah, you know, do
<v Speaker 1>their own thing up west.
<v Speaker 2>We passed it heading out out of town and even
<v Speaker 2>then it was like Nicknack was like, hey, we got
<v Speaker 2>to go there someday.
<v Speaker 1>You absolutely do well. Blake Shelton, Riley Green, this might
<v Speaker 1>be a good time.
<v Speaker 5>And I will simmer down because it is so day
<v Speaker 5>hot and Boulder especially okay, so so hot. The pavement
<v Speaker 5>is buckling on the roads as well as the bike paths.
<v Speaker 1>I mean it's like a drawbridge going up. If you
<v Speaker 1>see the pictures, it is.
<v Speaker 2>Like you ever take that off any sweet.
<v Speaker 5>Jumps, Like there's multiple spots in Boulder County that are
<v Speaker 5>I want to go there I'll make a buddy lay
<v Speaker 5>there on the other side on his back and I'll
<v Speaker 5>jump him. It's not that I mean seriously, think of it.
<v Speaker 5>Sidewink raised maybe six inches if that.
<v Speaker 1>But the thing is they say that the pavement is
<v Speaker 1>going to rise and then fall at night, it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>go back down.
<v Speaker 5>I won't do swee jumps at time, circol. But it's
<v Speaker 5>still busted. Just so you know, like the pavement still busted.
<v Speaker 5>If you come across a buckled pavement, hit up the
<v Speaker 5>city a boulder, they're asking for a heads up.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I just say pedals, You're gonna call.
<v Speaker 1>Your friend, You're gonna do sweet jumps pedal faster. Well,
<v Speaker 1>there you go, there's Jamal.
<v Speaker 2>You're up today this morning.
<v Speaker 3>Jake Jay.
<v Speaker 2>I highly doubt anybody is going to do this, but
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna be pleasantly surprised if I get a handful
<v Speaker 2>of pictures of guinea pigs. Why because I'm really Katie.
<v Speaker 4>No.
<v Speaker 2>Today is a National Guinea Pig Appreciation Day.
<v Speaker 1>Today everything gets a day something of the.
<v Speaker 2>Freaking cutest things, Like if you watch a guinea pig
<v Speaker 2>head on, well they eat something there, you know, it's
<v Speaker 2>the cutest thing.
<v Speaker 1>Ever, I will say they are an upgrade from the
<v Speaker 1>hamster off.
<v Speaker 5>I've had both with me speak Baby Nana, and yeah,
<v Speaker 5>the guinea pigs are way more interactive.
<v Speaker 2>A life span on a guinea pig, I like it. Remember,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, I don't know. I don't like that.
<v Speaker 2>Did Baby Nana take you care of the guinea pig?
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't like a dropping incident, like actually the life
<v Speaker 2>spans about six.
<v Speaker 5>Months, I know, right, Yeah, I don't know, because we
<v Speaker 5>didn't make it that far. No, Baby Nana and her
<v Speaker 5>cousin both had guinea pigs, and.
<v Speaker 1>So they would have little piggy dates and it was
<v Speaker 1>so little.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, they were so put a little top had on
<v Speaker 2>one over over, a little wedding dress, a little.
<v Speaker 1>Table with a candlestick. Oh, it's adorable.
<v Speaker 2>Here's what I want. If any of our listeners have
<v Speaker 2>guinea pigs, I will put their pictures of the guinea
<v Speaker 2>pigs and you, if you want to take a selfie
