<v Speaker 1>Saturday Night's main event is less than twenty four hours away,
<v Speaker 1>and it's a one match show. That's it really is
<v Speaker 1>just all about the main event Tomorrow night tag team
<v Speaker 1>match Cody Rhoades and Sea I'm Punk taken on Gunther
<v Speaker 1>and Sammy zin and tonight we found out that there
<v Speaker 1>are actual stakes on the line in this match. We
<v Speaker 1>actually had Cody and Gunther one on one in the
<v Speaker 1>main event, which broke down into chaos with all four
<v Speaker 1>men involved. We found out on this show, as amazing
<v Speaker 1>as it is, that Gunther is not fired or is
<v Speaker 1>suspended after attacking the general manager of the show last week.
<v Speaker 1>Nick Aldis, was not here today, but apparently he put
<v Speaker 1>a good word in for Gunther and didn't want anything
<v Speaker 1>bad to happen to him. So the match is on
<v Speaker 1>and now we have the stipulation that if Gunther and
<v Speaker 1>Sammy z Ain actually win their match tomorrow night, which
<v Speaker 1>they won't, but if they do, both men will be
<v Speaker 1>added to the championship match at Summer, which is looking
<v Speaker 1>increasingly likely. It'll be the Night one main event and
<v Speaker 1>it will turn into a fatal four way for the
<v Speaker 1>WWE Championship. On the one hand, I actually like the
<v Speaker 1>fact that they added that stipulation. On the other hand,
<v Speaker 1>it makes it patently obvious now who is winning and
<v Speaker 1>who was not winning tomorrow night. I do like there
<v Speaker 1>being something at stake though in that match. I do
<v Speaker 1>like that aspect of things. It is quite amazing, though
<v Speaker 1>when you look at this car. We have four matches tomorrow,
<v Speaker 1>and I was thinking about this, is this the weakest
<v Speaker 1>car the WWE has set up for a Saturday Night's
<v Speaker 1>Main event this year, last year, maybe ever? And I
<v Speaker 1>can't even bring myself to say that, because when you
<v Speaker 1>look at some of the more recent shows they've done,
<v Speaker 1>we've actually had Saturday Night's Main Event cars that have
<v Speaker 1>had fewer matches than we have tomorrow. As hard as
<v Speaker 1>that is to believe, there was one, I want to
<v Speaker 1>say at the beginning of this year where we have
<v Speaker 1>three matches. It's like they've given up with some of
<v Speaker 1>these shows because it doesn't air on NBC anymore, right,
<v Speaker 1>So it's not that shiny new toy because they're not
<v Speaker 1>on network TV either, just on Peacock now, so they
<v Speaker 1>feel like they don't have to put quite as much
<v Speaker 1>effort into it. But this is where we are, and
<v Speaker 1>that's tomorrow night. As far as SmackDown tonight, that was
<v Speaker 1>not the only piece of news that WWE made. There
<v Speaker 1>actually was breaking news before SmackDown went on the air tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and they got more into detail about it on the show.
<v Speaker 1>Rhea Ripley has not been present on this show since
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of June. Actually maybe not since Clash in Italy.
<v Speaker 1>She was wrestling, I think it was a live event
<v Speaker 1>in Italy back in early June. But we have not
<v Speaker 1>seen her on SmackDown in quite some time. And she's
<v Speaker 1>the WWE Women's Champion and now we're only a couple
<v Speaker 1>of weeks away from SummerSlam, right, two three weeks whatever.
<v Speaker 1>It is kind of odd. We got an update from
<v Speaker 1>her at the Power Slap event last week. She was
<v Speaker 1>asked about, you know, what's going on with you, and
<v Speaker 1>she said, well, you know, I've been dealing with a
<v Speaker 1>bit of an injury. You have a slightly torn meniscus,
<v Speaker 1>but it's in a very weird place, and I'm having
<v Speaker 1>trouble bending my knee and I'm getting real close, but
<v Speaker 1>like I'm not there yet, and so you know, we're
<v Speaker 1>just trying to trying to get over the hump, and
<v Speaker 1>I said this the other day. I said, that doesn't
<v Speaker 1>sound good. That does not sound like a positive update
<v Speaker 1>from somebody who is bound to be on the Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slam car defending her championship to a stripper of the belt.
<v Speaker 1>Let her take all the time she needs to get
<v Speaker 1>her knee back to one hundred percent, because obviously you
<v Speaker 1>don't want her coming back if she's not tip top.
<v Speaker 1>She's too important to that SmackDown brand. She's one of
<v Speaker 1>the biggest stars they have. And we'll just move on
<v Speaker 1>from this because it's been bad enough that we actually
<v Speaker 1>have a women's World champion who is present every single
<v Speaker 1>week on Raw but never defends her title, and then
<v Speaker 1>we have a champion on SmackDown who's injured in can't
<v Speaker 1>defend her titles. Something's got to give here, so just
<v Speaker 1>stripper of the Championship. And my suggestion was you could
<v Speaker 1>just make the Charlotte Flair Jade cargill inevitable match that
<v Speaker 1>we all figured was going to be announced. You can
<v Speaker 1>always make that a title match at Summer Slim and
<v Speaker 1>put the belt on one of them. And when Rhea
<v Speaker 1>comes back, she's got a ready made program to go
<v Speaker 1>back after her championship well, we now have an update
<v Speaker 1>on rear Ripley. She is in fact not going to
<v Speaker 1>be stripped of her Women's championship. They are doing the
<v Speaker 1>interim title bullshit that we have seen done in other
<v Speaker 1>places like UFC and ae W. We know that Tony
<v Speaker 1>Kahan loves his interim champions and now they're doing it
<v Speaker 1>in WWEE This is the update from earlier. Adam Pierce,
<v Speaker 1>actually they put a video out with him on social media.
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pierce is the interim acting general manager in the
<v Speaker 1>absence of Nick All this and he announced that rear
<v Speaker 1>Ripley again, she's been out. She's been and recovering from
<v Speaker 1>a torn meniscus and they're not quite sure. She's getting
<v Speaker 1>very close, but they're not quite sure when she's going
<v Speaker 1>to be medically clear to compete. So she's out of
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam, and so what they've decided to do five
<v Speaker 1>women are going to be decided upon. Five women are
<v Speaker 1>going to qualify for a ladder match at SummerSlam to
<v Speaker 1>create a new interim WWE Women's Champion, and then upon
<v Speaker 1>her return, Rhea Ripley will come back and we will
<v Speaker 1>effectively have a unification match to have one singular undisputed
<v Speaker 1>WWE Women's Champion. If you've heard me talk about the
<v Speaker 1>interim stuff before, and maybe I wouldn't mind it so
<v Speaker 1>much like when Tony Kahn has done it in the past,
<v Speaker 1>if it was like a one time thing or at
<v Speaker 1>every now and then thing. He loved the interim title stuff.
<v Speaker 1>And when I was talking about it even then, people
<v Speaker 1>were like, well, you know, the dude, UFC, And I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't give a shit. What does that have to
<v Speaker 1>do with my thoughts on interim titles. Because UFC does it,
<v Speaker 1>that means it's okay. Because UFC does it, I'm supposed
<v Speaker 1>to like it. I don't give a shit most of
<v Speaker 1>the time, if not all of the time. I think
<v Speaker 1>it is fucking stupid. And I'll tell you what's even
<v Speaker 1>dumber about it. They are so scared to take the
<v Speaker 1>title off of Rhea Ripley because they want so badly
<v Speaker 1>for her to still be the champion. When Crown Jewel
<v Speaker 1>rolls around, right, we could very well be looking at
<v Speaker 1>a situation where it's Rhea Ripley representing SmackDown taking on
<v Speaker 1>EO Sky representing Raw. Whatever their plans are. I think
<v Speaker 1>that's part of what's going on here, and they desperately
<v Speaker 1>want to make sure that Riha is still the champion,
<v Speaker 1>so they're gonna do this interim title nonsense instead of
<v Speaker 1>doing the most sensible thing that there is to do,
<v Speaker 1>which is, when you have a champion who was unable
<v Speaker 1>to compete and they are unable to appear, for example,
<v Speaker 1>at one of their biggest events of the year due
<v Speaker 1>to injury, you strip them of the championship and you
<v Speaker 1>do exactly what you're doing here. You can have a
<v Speaker 1>five way, you can have a six way, you can
<v Speaker 1>have however many women you want. You have a ladder
<v Speaker 1>match at Summer Slam for the vacant championship to create
<v Speaker 1>a new champion. When the now former champion is ready
<v Speaker 1>to come back, they will do so and they will
<v Speaker 1>be able to challenge for the title that they never lost.
<v Speaker 1>It's simple like this stuff does not have to be
<v Speaker 1>overly complicated. There is no need. There is no need
<v Speaker 1>for there to be a second belt created, which for them,
<v Speaker 1>it'll just be a replica they'll pull from WWE shop.
<v Speaker 1>I'm convinced most of the belts we see on TV
<v Speaker 1>now or just replicas from WWE shop. And so they
<v Speaker 1>have to Now we have another champion, and now we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have this stuff where who's the undisputed champion and
<v Speaker 1>all that. I'm like, why why she's already been out
<v Speaker 1>since the end of May. Just strip her of the
<v Speaker 1>championship and hold it up in a ladder match. But no,
<v Speaker 1>we have to do the interim title. Nonsense. Fine, idiotic
<v Speaker 1>is what it is. And actually we had qualifying matches tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Speaking of idiotic, we had qualifying matches tonight. We had
<v Speaker 1>In one of them it was Naya Jacks against Jade
<v Speaker 1>Cargill and in the other one it was Tiffany Stratton
<v Speaker 1>going one on one with j C Jane. Jade Cargill
<v Speaker 1>is going to the ladder match at Summer Slim, which
<v Speaker 1>as soon as you heard that it was going to
<v Speaker 1>be Jade Cargill and Naya Jacks, you had to figure
<v Speaker 1>that that was going to be the case, which means
<v Speaker 1>that they are absorbing what would have been the singles
<v Speaker 1>match between Charlotte and Jade into this ladder match now.
<v Speaker 1>And look, it is what it is like again, if
<v Speaker 1>this is what they're gonna do, Rhea is hurt. It
<v Speaker 1>is what it is. I get it because Charlotte and Jade,
<v Speaker 1>two of the bigger names in the division. Why wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>they be in the ladder match? Fine, I have no
<v Speaker 1>issue with that. I'll get to the actual matches and
<v Speaker 1>how those played out here at a little bit. And
<v Speaker 1>in the other match, it was Tiffany Stratton, the United
<v Speaker 1>States Champion against jac Jane. Tiffany Stratton, Minnesota girl going
<v Speaker 1>to Summer Slams. She will be in the ladder match.
<v Speaker 1>Jac Jane, thanks for coming. There is no spot for
<v Speaker 1>jac Jane in the ladder unless they do some sort
<v Speaker 1>of last chance qualifier. She will not be in the
<v Speaker 1>ladder match, which is absurd to me. But then I also,
<v Speaker 1>like I kind of scribbled down a list when this announcement,
<v Speaker 1>this news first broke earlier, of like, well, who would
<v Speaker 1>be in this match? Who would make sense to be
<v Speaker 1>in this ladder match? And you have the obvious names,
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill. Right, there's two of the five.
<v Speaker 1>Right there? You have Alexa Bliss. Alexa Bliss. They already
<v Speaker 1>shot an injury angle, right, Jade broke her arm last week,
<v Speaker 1>she's out. You ain't putting Alexa Bliz there. You already
<v Speaker 1>shot the angle, So she's off the table. You have
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany Stratton. Now, she's already got the United States Championship.
<v Speaker 1>She should be defending the US title at SummerSlam. There's
<v Speaker 1>really no need for her to be in this matt Now,
<v Speaker 1>she is a former world champion, troop. But in a
<v Speaker 1>perfect world they would have already had a program set
<v Speaker 1>up for her. But of course they don't. And so
<v Speaker 1>I get it. I understand why they would want Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>in this match. Minnesota girl, she's been going around doing
<v Speaker 1>publicity for Summer Slam, right coming to my home state.
<v Speaker 1>I can't wait to go back home. Yeah, but you
<v Speaker 1>got no fucking opponent. They've set nobody up for her.
<v Speaker 1>Who is she defending the US title against? What have
<v Speaker 1>they set up for her to do at Summer Slam. Nothing,
<v Speaker 1>So of course you're just gonna put her in the
<v Speaker 1>ladder match. So Tiffany Stratton, Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill. Right,
<v Speaker 1>that's three, right there? Who else do we have here?
<v Speaker 1>Put the batties on the side, all right, Put the
<v Speaker 1>batties on the side. Chelsea Green. Chelsea Green is not
<v Speaker 1>getting a spot in the Women's Championship ladder match. It's
<v Speaker 1>just not happening. Blake Monroe. She is allergic to wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>They have yet to have her in the ring wrestling
<v Speaker 1>a match on any episode of SmackDown. Why would she
<v Speaker 1>be in a ladder match for the women's champions And
<v Speaker 1>if she can qualify, I think that would be great,
<v Speaker 1>but realistically she's probably not getting any Julia and Keanna James.
<v Speaker 1>Julia and Keanna James are so low on the totem
<v Speaker 1>pole you can't possibly expect any of them to make
<v Speaker 1>it into the ladder match. Julia maybe has an outside shot. Realistically,
<v Speaker 1>it's probably not gonna Happenan Grace Jordan Grace is basically done.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, she she's a complete non factor at this point.
<v Speaker 1>I had to look it up to see when the
<v Speaker 1>last time was that she even wrestled. They have her
<v Speaker 1>wrestling sporadically on main event. I don't know what's going
<v Speaker 1>on with her. It's not like she's injured. If she's
<v Speaker 1>wrestling on main event, she's she's done. I mean, I'm
<v Speaker 1>sorry to say it, but basically she's out of the picture.
<v Speaker 1>So they don't really have a lot of options beyond that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I mean, you're looking at the names I mentioned,
<v Speaker 1>and then again, if you want to, I think Blake
<v Speaker 1>Monroe may have to end up being in there because
<v Speaker 1>they may not have a better option here. I mean
<v Speaker 1>beyond that again, you got Meechen b Fab fucking Candice Lay.
<v Speaker 1>Who am I missing? That's basically it. This is what
<v Speaker 1>we're looking at. As far as the last and how
<v Speaker 1>j C. Jane doesn't get a spot in this match
<v Speaker 1>is beyond me. But this is what we're looking at
<v Speaker 1>right now. As far as the women's championship is concerned
<v Speaker 1>at Summerslim it is. It is not an ideal situation.
<v Speaker 1>But again, this interim champion nonsense. I mean they're trying
<v Speaker 1>to be Oh, we're trying to be like a real sport.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna have an interim champion. But again, you don't
<v Speaker 1>have to reinvent the wheel here. There's no need for this.
<v Speaker 1>Just take the title away from her and crowning new champion.
<v Speaker 1>It's very simple. This was not a good show. It
<v Speaker 1>was very dull for the most part. Actually, the thing
<v Speaker 1>that surprised me the most about this show, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Phraxium going out there and having a good match is
<v Speaker 1>not a surprise. It was a match though between Phraxium
<v Speaker 1>and the war Raiders, which the fans did not give
<v Speaker 1>a shit about when the war Raiders came out. By
<v Speaker 1>the time this match was over, though, it was, if
<v Speaker 1>not the best thing, certainly up to that point in
<v Speaker 1>the show, the best thing, and actually, as I sit here,
<v Speaker 1>the best thing on the show as I reflect back
<v Speaker 1>on that, the best thing on the show turned out
<v Speaker 1>to be Phraxium in the war Raiders, which was nice
<v Speaker 1>because again, when was the last time the war Raiders
<v Speaker 1>really did anything of note on TV? But that's the
<v Speaker 1>best thing I could point to here on this show.
<v Speaker 1>They did certain things as far as you know, kind
<v Speaker 1>of moving things along for tomorrow night. We saw that
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the show with the big brawl
<v Speaker 1>with all four men in the main event. They have
<v Speaker 1>these qualifying matches. I liked the idea of their being
<v Speaker 1>qualifying matches. The qualifying matches were no good Wait until
<v Speaker 1>I get to the stuff with Jade and I. It
<v Speaker 1>wasn't even a match. It was an angle more than
<v Speaker 1>a match. This was not a good show, you know.
<v Speaker 1>I sat here for so long talking about how awful
<v Speaker 1>three hours of SmackDown was, and I was advocating please,
<v Speaker 1>to the wrestling gods above, please can we get two
<v Speaker 1>hours of SmackDown back? And I feel like now I
<v Speaker 1>need to start a petition to get SmackDown from two
<v Speaker 1>hours to one hour, maybe ninety minutes. We'll compromise. How
<v Speaker 1>about that ninety minutes of SmackDown. This is what I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to be advocating for from now on. I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to continue to cut time from this show until they
<v Speaker 1>can figure out a way to get it right. Ninety
<v Speaker 1>minutes of SmackDown is what we need. This is your
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown review. It is Friday night, July seventeen, twenty twenty six.
<v Speaker 1>July seventeenth, MM twenty eleven, fifteen years ago. Tonight I
<v Speaker 1>believe was the Was this the night that CM Punk
<v Speaker 1>won the WWE Championship for the first time from John
<v Speaker 1>Cena and money in the bank and then took his
<v Speaker 1>title and put it in his refrigerator? A historic night.
<v Speaker 1>Like and subscribe. Super chats are open. We will be
<v Speaker 1>reading all of your messages. At some point here during
<v Speaker 1>the stream. We're gonna hang out, we'll answer your questions,
<v Speaker 1>we'll do what we do, and then if we hit
<v Speaker 1>the likes goal, which we're going to find out right
<v Speaker 1>now what that goal is. We will be doing our
<v Speaker 1>be the Booker segment a little bit later on Hey Nico, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Nico has been going crazy here for a while. Tonight,
<v Speaker 1>all right, here we go. Just think the wheel four
<v Speaker 1>a spin. See what we have? Four fifty the wrestling. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>it's like Luca Underground. A gift from the gods would
<v Speaker 1>be ninety minutes of SmackDown. Four hundred and fifty likes
<v Speaker 1>is what we're going to need. Hey, True Crime Unleashed,
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for the super chat. Brother. We're right around
<v Speaker 1>two fifty, so we need what minimum two hundred more likes.
<v Speaker 1>I think we could do that, and we have a
<v Speaker 1>bonus goal going in the chat as well, So you
<v Speaker 1>guys work on that. I'm going to work on this
<v Speaker 1>Happy birthday? Is it Daphne's birthday? I didn't know that.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know that today was Daphne's birthday. How old
<v Speaker 1>would she have been? Oh what a sad tale that was. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>let's get into this show here. We'll start from the
<v Speaker 1>very top, and that top involved Gunther one, half of
<v Speaker 1>the tag team on the Heels. Tomorrow night, it's Saturday
<v Speaker 1>Night's main event. Coming to the ring by himself, but
<v Speaker 1>not until they recapped the events of last week's show,
<v Speaker 1>which included the Summer Slam Challenge being issued between Cody
<v Speaker 1>Rhoads and Cmpunk they will be wrestling for the WWE Championship.
<v Speaker 1>And then to close the show last week, we had
<v Speaker 1>that brutal attack by Gunther on Nick Aldis, putting him
<v Speaker 1>in the sleeper hole repeatedly until Cody Rhodes came out
<v Speaker 1>to make the save, and then the show went off
<v Speaker 1>the air, and then Brimode was activated. Thankfully, that also
<v Speaker 1>happened off the air. This one happened on the air though,
<v Speaker 1>Venom Ktetsu with the twenty five dollars Bremo. We know
<v Speaker 1>we heard Bremode tonight. I think I had my head down.
<v Speaker 1>I was taking some notes here and then I heard
<v Speaker 1>Bremo and I looked up and I was like dazed.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Venom Catetsu. So after all the recaps and
<v Speaker 1>all the bullshit, Gunther made his way down to the
<v Speaker 1>ring and he talked about, you know, priding himself on
<v Speaker 1>being a professional, but he felt that he's been mistreated
<v Speaker 1>ever since joining SMACK. Then, yeah, you don't say, you
<v Speaker 1>don't say It's been quite the journey for Gunther this
<v Speaker 1>year from how he started twenty twenty six to where
<v Speaker 1>he is right now. He said, the truth is that
<v Speaker 1>he should be the WWE champion right now, and Gunther
<v Speaker 1>blamed all this for making this very personal by forcing
<v Speaker 1>him to team with Sammy Zain Tomorrow night again Sea
<v Speaker 1>I'm Punk and Cody Rhodes. He said that Sammy was
<v Speaker 1>beneath him, so that brought out the interim general manager,
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pierce. Pierce said that on the subject of Niicol this,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther should be thanking him for sticking up for him
<v Speaker 1>and saving his job, because if it were up to him,
<v Speaker 1>he would have fired Gunther. But all this basically asked
<v Speaker 1>for him to stay keep the tag team Maine event
<v Speaker 1>Tomorrow night intact. This includes the stipulation, which was news
<v Speaker 1>to Gunther, but the stipulation that if Gunther and Sammy's
<v Speaker 1>A win their match at Saturday Night's main event, the
<v Speaker 1>two of them will be added to the main event
<v Speaker 1>at Summer Slide between Cody and Punk to make it
<v Speaker 1>a fatal four way for the WWE Championship. And so
<v Speaker 1>that announcement brought out Cody Rhodes, who ran out to
<v Speaker 1>the ring. Jacket Lists immediately double legged Gunther to the
<v Speaker 1>ground and Gunther fled out to the floor. Cody was
<v Speaker 1>all fired up. He did that thing that he does
<v Speaker 1>where he gets very angry and he screams enough. That's
<v Speaker 1>his thing now, like a like a substitute school teacher
<v Speaker 1>when the class is just out of control enough. He
<v Speaker 1>tries to he tries to sound all tough, like he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna he's gonna whoop that ass. And so he talked
<v Speaker 1>about Gunther slamming that card door on his head, which
<v Speaker 1>bloodied him up a few weeks ago on Raw. That's
<v Speaker 1>what took him out of the championship match with Sammy's Ain,
<v Speaker 1>which then paved the way for CM Punk to take
<v Speaker 1>a spot, and that's why CM punk is now the
<v Speaker 1>WWE champion. He hasn't forgotten about that said he was
<v Speaker 1>gonna drop Gunther on site. So he also said the
<v Speaker 1>road to Saturday Nights made event runs through Albany, New York,
<v Speaker 1>and he challenged Gunther to a match tonight. He looked
<v Speaker 1>to Adam Pearce to make it official, and so he did,
<v Speaker 1>and that is how we ended up with our main
<v Speaker 1>event tonight. Yes, you all like that. See Cody doesn't
<v Speaker 1>say it as deeply as that. It's it's not intimidating enough.
<v Speaker 1>That's the problem. Like I can see like if he had,
<v Speaker 1>you know, his kid or whatever is misbehaving at home
<v Speaker 1>and just you know, he starts yelling enough, like kid
<v Speaker 1>probably looks at him and just laughs and walks away.
<v Speaker 1>As far as adding the stipulation, I like it. I
<v Speaker 1>like the fact that now there's something on the line
<v Speaker 1>in this match, but there is no doubt now as
<v Speaker 1>to who's winning. At least before there was some doubt,
<v Speaker 1>you know, maybe Cody and Punk. They're not getting a lot.
<v Speaker 1>I mean even before though, I said Cody and Punk
<v Speaker 1>are gonna win because I can't see either one of
<v Speaker 1>them taking a loss. Is what I just talked about
<v Speaker 1>on the sound of I said, you know, we got
<v Speaker 1>this main event coming up this weekend, and I'm going
<v Speaker 1>with Cody and Punk to win it for no other
<v Speaker 1>reason because I cannot imagine either one of them taking
<v Speaker 1>a pinfall loss in this match. This only solidifies it
<v Speaker 1>because everything that they have done leads to a gunther
<v Speaker 1>Nick All this match at Summerslim, that match is one
<v Speaker 1>hundred percent going to happen. And though they're not having
<v Speaker 1>Gunther wrestle both Knights. We went through this with Olba Femi.
<v Speaker 1>Nobody is wrestling both knights. That's the match they're doing.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther is not wrestling for the WWE Championship, And frankly,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to see a fatal four way. I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to see a fatal four waight. I don't
<v Speaker 1>even want to see a triple thread at this point, Like,
<v Speaker 1>you've made your match. This is the match that you've promoted,
<v Speaker 1>This is the match that you promised. Just do it
<v Speaker 1>as is the biggest match they could do right now,
<v Speaker 1>Cody and Punk has not been done before, not this
<v Speaker 1>go around. So in that regard, it's a fresh match,
<v Speaker 1>two big names. Sorry for Sammy, but keep the match
<v Speaker 1>the way it is. We don't need to see a
<v Speaker 1>fatal four way. The only question really is does Nick
<v Speaker 1>All this show up to cost Gunther? Now? If he
<v Speaker 1>shows up in a way that costs gun through the match,
<v Speaker 1>that really fucks over Sammy's ay. And so what a
<v Speaker 1>terrible general manager that would make Nick All this because
<v Speaker 1>Sammy didn't do anything. Sammy's already walking around with a
<v Speaker 1>new T shirt that says justice for Sammy on it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why Nick all this would would cost
<v Speaker 1>him a potential title match at Summerslim. So does he
<v Speaker 1>interfere during the match, does he show up after the match?
<v Speaker 1>Does he show up at all? Right? What are they
<v Speaker 1>going to do next to set up this inevitable showdown
<v Speaker 1>with him and Guny? Do we see him tomorrow night?
<v Speaker 1>That's really the only question here. But the actual stipulation
<v Speaker 1>I like adding that to the match. Now at this point,
<v Speaker 1>they air the Adam Piers video that I mentioned earlier
<v Speaker 1>that dropped on social media where he told people that
<v Speaker 1>Rhea Ripley is not going to be cleared for SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>He announced that there's going to be a ladder match
<v Speaker 1>to crown this interim women's champion. Then we had a match.
<v Speaker 1>It was Finn Balor one on one with Talatanga. Last
<v Speaker 1>week Finn Balor beat Tama Tonga and this week it
<v Speaker 1>was it was Finn. I was gonna say, you know,
<v Speaker 1>it was Finn Balor against now it was not. It
<v Speaker 1>was not Finn Balor against Kyrie. Although that is a
<v Speaker 1>match I would love to see. Unfortunately we are not
<v Speaker 1>going to be able to see that match. But now
<v Speaker 1>that it's it's been presented to me, that would be
<v Speaker 1>a hell of a match. I have a feeling that
<v Speaker 1>he would be back to pin Balor if you put
<v Speaker 1>him in the ring with Kyrie Saint who remembers the
<v Speaker 1>photo shopt the image from many years ago in the
<v Speaker 1>cage of Kyrie and brock Lesnar. I think Kyrie was
<v Speaker 1>giving him a spear. Don't mess with Kyrie. She's a
<v Speaker 1>tough one. Anyway, as I was saying, maybe for be
<v Speaker 1>the booker, Yeah, Ricky, that's true. We do an intergender
<v Speaker 1>imagine be the booker. We could actually land on that.
<v Speaker 1>So Baalor beat Tomatonga last week. This week it was
<v Speaker 1>big brother. I say big brother. He's technically little brother,
<v Speaker 1>but literally he's big brother. So that's what this match was.
<v Speaker 1>Coming out of a commercial break, Taula dropped him with
<v Speaker 1>a running power slam for a two count. Balor made
<v Speaker 1>a comeback. He was looking for the Couda grass but
<v Speaker 1>but Talatanga grabbed him off the top. He was setting
<v Speaker 1>up for a Tala t bomb. Balor reversed that into
<v Speaker 1>a DDT though Tomatonga provided the distraction which gave Tala
<v Speaker 1>the chance to mow down Balor with a big boot again,
<v Speaker 1>though Baler made a comeback. He took down Tom outside
<v Speaker 1>with a sling blade on the floor and then finished
<v Speaker 1>things off on Tala with a double stump for the wind.
<v Speaker 1>And that pretty much puts the steak through the heart
<v Speaker 1>of what's left of the MFTs. Because now Finn Balor,
<v Speaker 1>who I would always call pin Balor because rarely would
<v Speaker 1>he win a match, has now gotten back to back
<v Speaker 1>wins over both remaining members of the MFT. So it
<v Speaker 1>is not looking good for those two on SmackDown. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what, if anything, is next for them, but
<v Speaker 1>it is not a good position for them to be in.
<v Speaker 1>Ceampunk confronted Nick all this backstage and just wanted to
<v Speaker 1>confirm that what I heard earlier is accurate about this
<v Speaker 1>stipulation now for this tag team match tomorrow night. He
<v Speaker 1>said he's more of an old school guy. He prefers
<v Speaker 1>it be one on one. Pierce said, look, I understand,
<v Speaker 1>but it's official, it's already made. Punk also had doubts
<v Speaker 1>about Gunther's intentions. Later he said he thinks Gunther is
<v Speaker 1>just trying to hurt Cody physically, so he said he
<v Speaker 1>was going to go find Cody for a chat, and
<v Speaker 1>as Punk turned around, he ran right into Damian Priest,
<v Speaker 1>one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, who thanked
<v Speaker 1>Punk for the shout out last week. When Punker's running
<v Speaker 1>down the list of all the names that he would
<v Speaker 1>love to defend that championship against, he mentioned every single
<v Speaker 1>name except for Cody Rhodes. Remember that he mentioned Sammy Zaine,
<v Speaker 1>He mentioned Royce Keys, mentioned Damian Priest, Trick Williams Budd.
<v Speaker 1>He wanted to make sure that Punk knows that if
<v Speaker 1>Punk is still the champion after Summer Slim, Priest is
<v Speaker 1>going to be waiting for him, and Punk said, well,
<v Speaker 1>I hope so, and I hope that you're still tag
<v Speaker 1>Team Champion because me and Cody are gonna go on
<v Speaker 1>a tear in the garden tomorrow night and then maybe
<v Speaker 1>we'll go after those tag team titles. Please, don't. I
<v Speaker 1>know we're kind of desperate when it comes to tag
<v Speaker 1>teams here in this company, but we don't need that.
<v Speaker 1>We had j C. Jane one on one with Tiffany Stratton.
<v Speaker 1>This was a qualifying match for the ladder match at
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slim. Lany Reid and Fallon Henley. They ganged up
<v Speaker 1>on Tiffany before the match, actually all three of them did.
<v Speaker 1>When we heard brem mode and here comes Page and
<v Speaker 1>Brie Bella, the women's tag team champions, they ran out
<v Speaker 1>to fight off the challengers for tomorrow night because they
<v Speaker 1>are defending against Fatal Influence. So that left Jase all
<v Speaker 1>by herself for the match to begin, and they went
<v Speaker 1>to an early commercial break after that on my screen
<v Speaker 1>in Netflix, because I was watching this with my Express VPN.
<v Speaker 1>And normally when they go to a commercial, it goes
<v Speaker 1>dark for like four or five seconds, and then it
<v Speaker 1>comes back and it gives a countdown clock. In the
<v Speaker 1>corner of the screen, it says back in and then
<v Speaker 1>it'll say three minutes, ninety seconds, two minutes, you know,
<v Speaker 1>whatever it is. They go to a commercial break here
<v Speaker 1>and in the corner of the screen on Netflix, it
<v Speaker 1>says back in one hundred eighty three minutes. Now. Now, look,
<v Speaker 1>I know that the the commercials on these you know,
<v Speaker 1>television shows, are out of control, but this is just ridiculous.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I know it feels like we have three
<v Speaker 1>hours worth of commercials every single week, but to tell
<v Speaker 1>me that we'll be back in three hours. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I mean we've just we've gone over the edge. Now
<v Speaker 1>we've just gone completely over the edge. And so by
<v Speaker 1>the way it stayed that way, it's clearly a glitch.
<v Speaker 1>It stayed that way for the rest of the show.
<v Speaker 1>It counted backwards from one hundred and eighty three minutes,
<v Speaker 1>so I never for the rest of the show how
<v Speaker 1>many actual minutes were left in these commercial breaks. It's
<v Speaker 1>at one hundred and seventy one hundred and forty go.
<v Speaker 1>These are the longest commercial breaks I've ever seen in
<v Speaker 1>my life. So late in the match, we got the
<v Speaker 1>float over into the Alabama Slam by Stratton, who headed
<v Speaker 1>up top JC They'll cut her off and followed with
<v Speaker 1>an elevated swinging DDT for a near fall. Jaz went
<v Speaker 1>for the rolling encore, but Stratton avoided it, hit a
<v Speaker 1>springboard stunner, and the prettiest Moonsalt ever followed for the win,
<v Speaker 1>which sends the United States Champion into the Women's Championship
<v Speaker 1>Ladder Match at SummerSlam. Hey, Chicago for MBK, thank you
<v Speaker 1>for the gifted membership. E Web one eighty seven was
<v Speaker 1>just gifted a membership courtesy of Chicago for MBK. Look
<v Speaker 1>that the gift of giving here on YouTube. So yes,
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany Stratton advances to the ladder match, and I figured
<v Speaker 1>Stratton was winning just because she had a belt. Jace doesn't.
<v Speaker 1>And as I said earlier, Summerslim is in Tiffany's home state,
<v Speaker 1>and she's going around doing media and publicity. And as
<v Speaker 1>I'm coming across these YouTube clips of her doing these interviews,
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, does she even have a match set up
<v Speaker 1>for that show? And the answer is no. So then
<v Speaker 1>they announced this match, and I'm like, they could have
<v Speaker 1>bounced jac Jane out of this thing before she even
<v Speaker 1>has a chance to qualify. Why would they make this match?
<v Speaker 1>Why would you not have Jace Jane in that match
<v Speaker 1>at Summerslim. There's no reason that she shouldn't be one
<v Speaker 1>of the five to five women in that match. But
<v Speaker 1>now she's gone, She's already bounced out, and Tiffany Stratton,
<v Speaker 1>who doesn't need to be in there, is now going
<v Speaker 1>to be in the ladder match. I guess that's their
<v Speaker 1>way of getting her on the show because they had
<v Speaker 1>nothing else for her otherwise. That's an indictment on the
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown writing team. You know, she's the United States champion,
<v Speaker 1>the hometown girl. You can't come up with something in
<v Speaker 1>advance for something, you know, something for her to do
<v Speaker 1>heading into SummerSlam. Boy, they're awfully lucky that Rhea Ripley,
<v Speaker 1>you know, was forced out of this show and that
<v Speaker 1>they came up with this match, because had they not,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know the Tiffany Stratton would have been wrestling
<v Speaker 1>at SummerSlam. I guess at least now she gets a
<v Speaker 1>spot on the show. But I think it's bullshit that
<v Speaker 1>j C. Jane is not going to occupy one of
<v Speaker 1>these five slots now. I expect Fallon Henley and Laney
<v Speaker 1>Reid to win the women's tag team titles tomorrow and night.
<v Speaker 1>But man, they have done no favors to this Fatal
<v Speaker 1>Influence Crew after the first like couple of weeks because
<v Speaker 1>they debuted. I thought it was good, established them pretty early,
<v Speaker 1>and it's just been kind of it's been very flat,
<v Speaker 1>if not downhill, from there. So yeah, I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>think they'll win the tag team titles tomorrow and I
<v Speaker 1>mean they don't win the tag team titles tomorrow night
<v Speaker 1>after already losing a non title match to Page and Bribella,
<v Speaker 1>then that's it. That's it. I mean, I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what to say. At that point. They
<v Speaker 1>must be winning the titles tomorrow, but I still think
<v Speaker 1>jac I should have gotten a spot here. We got
<v Speaker 1>some pre tape comments from the Learning Tree fucked up.
<v Speaker 1>Fuck that tree. No, no, no, no, the Learning Tree
<v Speaker 1>is not in the ladder match. No, we're getting the
<v Speaker 1>pain Maker. That's what we're getting. Oh boy. I can't
<v Speaker 1>wait to talk about that promo in my Dynamite review
<v Speaker 1>on Sunday, since I didn't do one on Wednesday because
<v Speaker 1>my fucking Wi Fi car decided to randomly disappear on me,
<v Speaker 1>which is why I vanished in the middle of Tuesday
<v Speaker 1>Night Titans. Thankfully, we got most of the show done
<v Speaker 1>and then I just vanished because out of nowhere my
<v Speaker 1>Wi Fi car vanished. Couldn't get it back, went to
<v Speaker 1>the drivers and everything it was, nothing was working. Took
<v Speaker 1>the laptop into a shop, said I gotta get my
<v Speaker 1>WiFi back, put a brand new card in, took it
<v Speaker 1>home and it worked. It worked for all of two hours,
<v Speaker 1>and then it fucking disappeared again. And my Bluetooth is gone.
<v Speaker 1>I have no Bluetooth anymore. I was planning on I actually,
<v Speaker 1>of course I was. I was planning on getting back
<v Speaker 1>to some soundof gamer stuff and now that's out the window.
<v Speaker 1>I can't pair the controller now with this, which means
<v Speaker 1>I have no Bluetooth. It's been quite the odyssey for
<v Speaker 1>me this week. I wasn't even going to bring it up,
<v Speaker 1>but I've been so irritated. This has been a horrible week.
<v Speaker 1>Just I mean, and again, woe is me? Third world problems,
<v Speaker 1>I know, but this has just been It's been ridiculous.
<v Speaker 1>This whole week has been ridiculous. And the money I've
<v Speaker 1>spent on adapters and stuff. Bought a Bluetooth external external
<v Speaker 1>Wi Fi and Bluetooth adapter, and the Wi Fi one worked.
<v Speaker 1>I ended up just buying an Ethernet cable and just
<v Speaker 1>running it through the entire freaking place. So, you know whatever,
<v Speaker 1>the WiFi is dead, who gives a shit? But the Bluetooth.
<v Speaker 1>I bought an adapter piece, little USB one you plug
<v Speaker 1>it in right, supposed to work. Nothing. Nothing. I've gone
<v Speaker 1>through all of the troubleshooting steps, disable the the old
<v Speaker 1>you know Bluetooth, which are hidden all of a sudden.
<v Speaker 1>Believe me, I've gone through the list of all the steps,
<v Speaker 1>nothing's worked. I'm thinking about just spending money on ten
<v Speaker 1>different ones off Amazon. I'll just buy ten of them
<v Speaker 1>and just try every single one of them until one
<v Speaker 1>of them works, I guarantee, and not a single one
<v Speaker 1>is gonna work. So I'm very sad about all this.
<v Speaker 1>But anyway, you guys are helping me maintain my sanity.
<v Speaker 1>I just had to explain what's been going on over
<v Speaker 1>the last few days. None of this makes any sense
<v Speaker 1>to me. None of this makes any sense whatsoever. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>I was about to talk about Baron Corbin, So let's
<v Speaker 1>talk about Baron Corbin. How about that. You know, if
<v Speaker 1>WWE really wanted to get on my nerves, they would
<v Speaker 1>bring up a heel from like NXT or something and
<v Speaker 1>just call them Bluetooth. That could be that they could
<v Speaker 1>trademark the name. Maybe they're legally not able to just
<v Speaker 1>call them Bluetooth. Biggest heel in the company. I will
<v Speaker 1>root against them every single match. Bluetooth managed by Wi Fi.
<v Speaker 1>Some hot blonde calls herself Wi Fi. Yeah, biggest heels
<v Speaker 1>in the business. Baron Corbin, though, after his surprise return
<v Speaker 1>last week during the trick, Williams Carmelo Hayes non title
<v Speaker 1>match on SmackDown. He had laid them both out. He said,
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people around here think that they're tough,
<v Speaker 1>but he's the real deal and he will bring reality
<v Speaker 1>crashing down upon them. He tells his opponents to smile
<v Speaker 1>when they can and enjoy what they have because he's
<v Speaker 1>coming for it all. He's coming. Blake Monroe is still
<v Speaker 1>coming every week. We'll get to hurt a little bit
<v Speaker 1>in the back though. Live. Jackie Redmond is with Trick Williams,
<v Speaker 1>and Trick calls Korb been a big bald headed bitch.
<v Speaker 1>What is this obsession on wrestling television this year of
<v Speaker 1>just calling bald men bitches? Bald men have really just
<v Speaker 1>they've been in the crosshairs this year. I think it
<v Speaker 1>started with Ricochet, but I feel like the bald insults
<v Speaker 1>have been going back and forth all year long. It's
<v Speaker 1>very strange. That sounds very TK like what having a
<v Speaker 1>heel named Bluetooth with a manager named Wi Fi can
<v Speaker 1>make it a tag team? I mean that works too.
<v Speaker 1>Carmelo Hayes interrupted. Two of them bickered back and forth.
<v Speaker 1>Hayes said that he knows Trick knows that Mellow is
<v Speaker 1>the better of the two of them. Trick says that
<v Speaker 1>Hayes hasn't done anything in two years Unsmacked Down. Meanwhile,
<v Speaker 1>he's been on SmackDown for less than a year and
<v Speaker 1>he's the hottest thing to hit the show. And then
<v Speaker 1>he ranted about grown folks talking or some such thing,
<v Speaker 1>because everybody on this show they gotta spit out their
<v Speaker 1>catchphrases every five second. Can't cut a straight promo. We'll
<v Speaker 1>just spit fucking catchphrases at every two seconds, is what
<v Speaker 1>he's been reduced to, by the way. So whatever, they
<v Speaker 1>were going back and forth, and nothing was really accomplished
<v Speaker 1>here in this segment. But Baron Corbin is coming for everything.
<v Speaker 1>He's coming for it all. We had another women's ladder
<v Speaker 1>match qualifier with a Jade Cargill against Naya Jacks. Say
<v Speaker 1>Naya Jax, who has not wrestled on this show since
<v Speaker 1>the end of May. That was in a loss at
<v Speaker 1>Chelsea Green. In fact, she hasn't wrestled anywhere since the
<v Speaker 1>end of May. Jade missed right away with a pumpkick.
<v Speaker 1>Nya caught her with a Samoan drop, then a leg
<v Speaker 1>drop only got two. Nia missed with a leg drop
<v Speaker 1>off the middle rope, and that gave Jade the opening
<v Speaker 1>to hit a spinebuster, kind of not a great one,
<v Speaker 1>but a spinebuster. Nonetheless, all of a sudden, at ringside,
<v Speaker 1>there's a commotion. I swear to you, I swear to you.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, my mind just went there. She was
<v Speaker 1>wearing like a very bright, colorful outfit. The way she
<v Speaker 1>was dressed, I thought soul Ruka had hit ringside to
<v Speaker 1>beat up the batties. I was like, what's she doing here?
<v Speaker 1>But no, it was Charlotte Flair. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>she was trying to cosplay as soul Ruka. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what she was doing. Charlotte Flair showed up. She
<v Speaker 1>beats up Mechen, she beats up Beefab, she hits the ring,
<v Speaker 1>she attacks Jade, instant disqualification. The match is over. That's it,
<v Speaker 1>just like that, And I'm watching this and I'm like
<v Speaker 1>that now sends the woman that you hate so much
<v Speaker 1>to the ladder match at SummerSlam to potentially win the
<v Speaker 1>Women's World champions or I'm sorry, the interim Women's World champion.
<v Speaker 1>Fuck this interim shit but yet not very smart, not
<v Speaker 1>very bright, but that's what she did because Jade Cargill
<v Speaker 1>now was going to SummerSlam, but Charlotte's not done yet.
<v Speaker 1>So after the match is over, Flair goes and grabs
<v Speaker 1>a chair from outside. She was about to stomp on
<v Speaker 1>Jade's arm with the chair, just like Jade did to
<v Speaker 1>Alexa Bliss last week, but the batties pulled her out
<v Speaker 1>to safety, and so they announced Jade as the winner. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>she had the hardy boys outface? Is that what it was?
<v Speaker 1>The only thing we were missing was Charlotte out there
<v Speaker 1>doing this, doing the Jeff Hardy dance. I'm sorry, she
<v Speaker 1>looked like soul Ruka. Anyway, they announced Jade as the winner,
<v Speaker 1>and angry Nya Jacks then squashed Charlotte in the corner
<v Speaker 1>and the King Kong Bundy avalanche. It's the first thing
<v Speaker 1>I thought about, the avalanche, such an old school bove
<v Speaker 1>squashes her in the corner because Charlotte had her back turned,
<v Speaker 1>and then Nya just left and that gave the batties
<v Speaker 1>the chance to get in the ring pick the bones,
<v Speaker 1>and then Jade laid out Charlotte with Jaded. This was
<v Speaker 1>fucking awful. This was terrible. I hated everything about this.
<v Speaker 1>This was such a colossal waste of time, is what
<v Speaker 1>this was. Now. In the back when this was over,
<v Speaker 1>Naya and lash legend they were complaining to Adam Pearce,
<v Speaker 1>you know about what just happened. What are you gonna do?
<v Speaker 1>And so Pierce made a match for next week. Nya
<v Speaker 1>is going to get another shot. Naya is gonna get
<v Speaker 1>another shot to qualify, but this time it's going to
<v Speaker 1>be against Charlotte Flair. And so that match is now
<v Speaker 1>official for next week. And I love how all of
<v Speaker 1>these general managers are just constantly rewarding bad behavior. Don't
<v Speaker 1>you notice this is like a trend that's been going on.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther goes out there and he physically assaults one of
<v Speaker 1>the general managers of the show. That's how SmackDown ended
<v Speaker 1>last week. Gunther went in there and beat up his
<v Speaker 1>boss and wasn't suspended, he wasn't fired. Then you had
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte Flair, actually Jade Cargill breaking Alexa Bliss's arm in
<v Speaker 1>a chair. She's then rewarded with a qualifying match to
<v Speaker 1>put potentially challenged for the Interim Women's Championship, which she
<v Speaker 1>will now do. And then Charlotte Flair interferes in the
<v Speaker 1>qualifier and is rewarded with a qualifier of her own
<v Speaker 1>next week. Is it any wonder why nobody ever learns
<v Speaker 1>their lesson, Nobody ever learns to respect authority and respect
<v Speaker 1>the rules, so they continue to break the rules and
<v Speaker 1>beat up the authority. Figures here on these shows, we
<v Speaker 1>need somebody to put their foot down. We need a
<v Speaker 1>general manager or a commissioner, or somebody who will be
<v Speaker 1>able to put their foot down and lay down the law.
<v Speaker 1>These men are clearly incapable of doing that. Stop rewarding
<v Speaker 1>bad behavior. In the back. Jackie Redman spoke with Gunther,
<v Speaker 1>who says that Cody forced himself into Gunther's business and
<v Speaker 1>so he will beat some rationality into him first tomorrow night.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't care really at all about Sammy Zay and
<v Speaker 1>give a shit about him. Meanwhile, Candae Larray wheels her
<v Speaker 1>husband over, who is still planking on a crate, and
<v Speaker 1>she's telling Gunther, you know you gotta go in there,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, the two of you, you and Sammy,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta win this match so that you can go
<v Speaker 1>on to SummerSlam and make it a fatal four way
<v Speaker 1>and challenge for the championship. She and Johnny they need
<v Speaker 1>Sammy to win. Gunther has no idea what to make
<v Speaker 1>of this. As this is going on in the background,
<v Speaker 1>I spy Blake Monroe in the shadows, lurking in the background,
<v Speaker 1>watching on. So Gunther exits and as soon as he leaves,
<v Speaker 1>Blake decides to go in for the kill, and she
<v Speaker 1>ambushes Candace Larray from behind, and she beats the piss
<v Speaker 1>out of her. Then she introduces herself to her. As
<v Speaker 1>Blake was walking away, Johnny Gargano was still laying there
<v Speaker 1>on the crate, and so she looked at him and said,
<v Speaker 1>you need a haircut, and then she walked off. Johnny
<v Speaker 1>no sold the entire thing. By the way, his wife
<v Speaker 1>was laying on the ground, having just been viciously beaten
<v Speaker 1>by this woman, and he just continued to lay there.
<v Speaker 1>We still have yet to see you. Now I've said
<v Speaker 1>my piece about the Johnny Gargano stuff. One of these
<v Speaker 1>weeks he will rise from the dead. It'll get a
<v Speaker 1>big pop, he'll wrestle the match and that'll be the
<v Speaker 1>end of it. But as far as Blake Monroe is concerned,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how many weeks it's been I've lost
<v Speaker 1>count already from the first vignette that aired. It's been
<v Speaker 1>at least six weeks, minimum six weeks, and they aired
<v Speaker 1>those vignettes. She showed up that one week on SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>and I think to run into Chelsea Green for like
<v Speaker 1>fifteen seconds in the back. Then the vignettes resumed. Then
<v Speaker 1>she attacked Julia, Then she attacked Julia and Keana James stage.
<v Speaker 1>Now she attacks uh Candice Larray. So she's been going
<v Speaker 1>around just like randomly beating up all the women on
<v Speaker 1>the roster. She has yet to wrestle an actual match.
<v Speaker 1>She's she's very good in terms of ambushing people, but
<v Speaker 1>in terms of wrestling, we still have no idea. It's unbelievable.
<v Speaker 1>And now they have women that they need to slid
<v Speaker 1>into this ladder batch, and realistically she should be one
<v Speaker 1>of them, but like what sense would that even make
<v Speaker 1>at this point. I hope she gets in. I hope
<v Speaker 1>so because I'm not sure. I'm not sure who else
<v Speaker 1>they're going to put in there. Then we had Fhraxium,
<v Speaker 1>and we had the war Raiders, the reigning TRIPAA Tag
<v Speaker 1>team champions, Oh God Side coming in high six out
<v Speaker 1>of fifteen on that bonus goal fucke Gargano making the
<v Speaker 1>easiest money that he'll ever make planking. I wish I
<v Speaker 1>could make six figures just planking anywhere. It's true, it's true.
<v Speaker 1>The base salary for a WWE star supposedly these days
<v Speaker 1>is about three hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Stands to
<v Speaker 1>reason he's probably making more than that. You know, I'm not.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure he's not making a million, but you had
<v Speaker 1>to estimate what he's making for planking, I probably would
<v Speaker 1>do the same thing. It's just a shame because we
<v Speaker 1>know Johnny Gargano can actually wrestle, and instead he's just
<v Speaker 1>literally laying around every week. But hey, money is money,
<v Speaker 1>I guess right now, Phraxium, they got the jobber entrance
<v Speaker 1>here so the war Raiders could get their full entrance.
<v Speaker 1>And the only reason the war Raiders even got a match,
<v Speaker 1>let alone their full entrance on this show is because
<v Speaker 1>a they're the TRIAA Tag Team champions and be they
<v Speaker 1>are preparing to defend their titles against Damian Priest at
<v Speaker 1>Our Truth one of these weeks, unless they do it
<v Speaker 1>as Summer Slim, which I suppose is possible. But Priest
<v Speaker 1>even said a few weeks ago, like, if we do this,
<v Speaker 1>we're doing this on Smackdowns. So this is a television
<v Speaker 1>match all the way. The only reason I say maybe
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slim is because it's title for title, and you know,
<v Speaker 1>maybe they think that's kind of a big deal, even
<v Speaker 1>though I mean it's really not. But because of that,
<v Speaker 1>they got a full entrance and they actually got time
<v Speaker 1>to go in there and remind people that they can
<v Speaker 1>actually wrestle, and they're actually a pretty damn good tag team,
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't you know now when they initially came out, nobody cared.
<v Speaker 1>Nobody cared. To their credit, and I mean Phraxium, they
<v Speaker 1>always go out there when you give them a chance,
<v Speaker 1>they always go out there and kill it, even in
<v Speaker 1>singles matches. But to their credit, all four of these men,
<v Speaker 1>by the time that this match was over, they had
<v Speaker 1>people channing this is awesome. Were people were going nuts for.
<v Speaker 1>People were really super in to this match, and deservedly
<v Speaker 1>so because it turned out to be a pretty damn
<v Speaker 1>good match. Ivar stacked Fraser and Axium on top of
<v Speaker 1>one another. Late in the match he was going up
<v Speaker 1>top for a gigantic moon Salt. They thankfully moved out
<v Speaker 1>of the way and there was nobody in the pool.
<v Speaker 1>When he landed. Fraser connected on a springboard four fifty
<v Speaker 1>though for an earfall Axiom he leapt through the air,
<v Speaker 1>but he got caught by Ivarm promptly put down. So
<v Speaker 1>Fraser went for this wild suicide dive and he sent
<v Speaker 1>himself face first and headfirst right into the side slash
<v Speaker 1>edge of the announced desk, and it made a great sound,
<v Speaker 1>It made a great thud, and he totally no sold
<v Speaker 1>it because he wasn't supposed to hit the table, so
<v Speaker 1>he just pretended like it didn't even happen. Okay, kind
<v Speaker 1>of a waste, But here comes Axiom and he hits
<v Speaker 1>a suicide dive, and at least this time he didn't
<v Speaker 1>freaking kill himself on the landing. Axiom wound up on
<v Speaker 1>the opera before Fraser joined in. They hit a double
<v Speaker 1>super plex I Forget on which Viking Fraser followed with
<v Speaker 1>a Phoenix splash. Eric though made the safe to break
<v Speaker 1>the count, but in the end they put down Fraser
<v Speaker 1>and then Axiom got put down with their Ragnarok double
<v Speaker 1>Chope slam to win it. Not only did they wrestle
<v Speaker 1>a match, they won. Boy, You see that right there
<v Speaker 1>tells you they got a big match coming up. It
<v Speaker 1>may be the only time they win a match on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>But this was the best thing on the show up
<v Speaker 1>to this point. And now that I look back at it,
<v Speaker 1>and I thought the main event was solid, this right
<v Speaker 1>here was the best thing on the entire show. And again,
<v Speaker 1>it was cold when they first came out, but they
<v Speaker 1>were able to win the crowd over because sometimes you
<v Speaker 1>just send two guys out there, or two women or
<v Speaker 1>two tag teams. You give them some time. Yes, it's
<v Speaker 1>not a three hour show anymore, but so the hell,
<v Speaker 1>what give them ten, twelve, fourteen minutes? Let them go
<v Speaker 1>out there and just have a great wrestling match. Mixed
<v Speaker 1>in with all the other gaga on the show and
<v Speaker 1>the promos and you know, the Danausen skits and everything else,
<v Speaker 1>you got to give people some really good wrestling as well.
<v Speaker 1>And it feels like we don't get enough of that
<v Speaker 1>on these shows. Sometimes we get too much of it
<v Speaker 1>on certain wrestling shows, and there's not enough in between.
<v Speaker 1>We don't get enough of it on this show. I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to sit here and say, well, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I'm grading on a curve because you know, compared to
<v Speaker 1>other matches we may have seen on television over the
<v Speaker 1>past month, this couldn't hold a candle to that. True.
<v Speaker 1>We had two excellent World Championship matches on television only
<v Speaker 1>within the last couple of weeks, but as compared to
<v Speaker 1>everything else on this show, this pretty much blew everything
<v Speaker 1>else away in ring and it was a lot of fun,
<v Speaker 1>but we don't get enough of it. I'd like to
<v Speaker 1>see more stuff like this, even when they send Ray
<v Speaker 1>Phoenix out there, you know, every now and then to
<v Speaker 1>have a triple a cruiserweight titled against somebody and he
<v Speaker 1>usually tears it up. You know, you got to have
<v Speaker 1>more of that, I think on these shows as well,
<v Speaker 1>because there's so much bad stuff on these SmackDown shows,
<v Speaker 1>you you need some actual great wrestling as a palette cleanser,
<v Speaker 1>because if you don't, if you don't even have that,
<v Speaker 1>what are you left with on these Do you see
<v Speaker 1>some of these shows, how awful some of these shows are.
<v Speaker 1>If you didn't have a couple of really good wrestling matches,
<v Speaker 1>what would you be left with? What would you be
<v Speaker 1>left with? Dan Housen in his laboratory and a bunch
<v Speaker 1>of fanatics, Fest replays, and a couple of replays of
<v Speaker 1>what happened on the Better Show on Monday Night. That's
<v Speaker 1>what you would be left with, and apparently one hundred
<v Speaker 1>and eighty three minutes of commercials according to Netflix. Cody
<v Speaker 1>Roose was in the back doing final prep for the
<v Speaker 1>main event when Cmpunk showed up and he just asked him,
<v Speaker 1>goes Gunther the night before Saturday night's main event? And
<v Speaker 1>Cody said, I got my head kicked into a car door.
<v Speaker 1>And Punk said, look, I get it, but is this
<v Speaker 1>a good idea? And Cody says, oh no, no, it's
<v Speaker 1>not a good idea. And Punk said, look, I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to go out there to make sure that Gunther doesn't
<v Speaker 1>hurt you personally. And Cody said, sure, you can watch
<v Speaker 1>from that monitor right over there. I'm going to go
<v Speaker 1>out there and take care of the whole, you know,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther stuff, and I'll see you tomorrow. And Punk said
<v Speaker 1>that right, I'll see you out there, and so this
<v Speaker 1>went back and forth as Cody left. Speaking of Dan Housen,
<v Speaker 1>we had Dan Housen in his laboratory, his traveling laboratory,
<v Speaker 1>and Jackie Redman was in there, to interview him, and
<v Speaker 1>dan Housen said that because she brought up the fact
<v Speaker 1>that you know you're going into this match and you
<v Speaker 1>know that JD mcdonoughy is going to have dominic mysterio
<v Speaker 1>in his corner. You told Matt Cardona you didn't need
<v Speaker 1>his help. Are you sure that's smart? Do you have
<v Speaker 1>someone basically to watch your back? And dan Housen said, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he has a secret weapon for the match at Saturday
<v Speaker 1>night's main event, and he went and he brought in
<v Speaker 1>a small cage with a stuffed animal inside. It was
<v Speaker 1>a stuffed cat. I don't mean an actual cat that
<v Speaker 1>at least I hope not that they that they stuffed,
<v Speaker 1>but it was a stuffed cat animal. And Jackie was
<v Speaker 1>very confused by this, and he pointed out that the
<v Speaker 1>cat would be a good weapon and you would be
<v Speaker 1>cursed if you crossed its path, which is true. If
<v Speaker 1>you will walk past a black cat, right, that's that's
<v Speaker 1>supposedly bad luck, or if a black cat goes running
<v Speaker 1>past you, it's was that seven years of bad luck
<v Speaker 1>or something like that, or is that breaking a mirror?
<v Speaker 1>I know it's supposed to be bad luck, but hey,
<v Speaker 1>so like I'm watching this, and I'm sure everybody's like,
<v Speaker 1>what the hell cat? And I'm like, hmm, cat, you
<v Speaker 1>say I know a cat. I know a cat who
<v Speaker 1>actually plays for the world Champion of New York Knicks
<v Speaker 1>won Karl Anthony Towns. So I think this was kind
<v Speaker 1>of a little wink in a nod about which New
<v Speaker 1>York nick is going to be showing up in support
<v Speaker 1>of Dan Housen since Jalen Brunson is going to be
<v Speaker 1>a little bit busy with Roman reigns and whatever acknowledgment
<v Speaker 1>ceremony they're going to be having tomorrow. I think we
<v Speaker 1>just found out who's going to be in Dan Housen's corner.
<v Speaker 1>Cat is going to be there. I'm sure there'll be
<v Speaker 1>other members of the team present as well, but anyway, no,
<v Speaker 1>we'll not. It will not be Stacey Carter. It will
<v Speaker 1>not be It will not be the cat Ah, Karl
<v Speaker 1>Anthony Towns. Yes, watching SmackDown gives you seven years of
<v Speaker 1>bad luck. It feels that way, doesn't it. I feel
<v Speaker 1>I do sometimes feel like I'm being punished. Bash Bash says, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I didn't think about that. Bash says, it
<v Speaker 1>it could be. It could be the bear Cat. It
<v Speaker 1>could be, it could be, it could be Bear Cat,
<v Speaker 1>Keith Lee. No, Ernest Miller, no, no, no, nobody would
<v Speaker 1>even know who he is? Are you kidding me? You
<v Speaker 1>think this audience would even know who the fuck he is?
<v Speaker 1>Did you see the people that go to these shows now?
<v Speaker 1>They have no idea who Ernest Miller is. I'm surprised
<v Speaker 1>that they would even know what the initials w CW.
<v Speaker 1>You mean they probably they probably figured w CW was
<v Speaker 1>the thing every Wednesday on fucking X. They have no
<v Speaker 1>idea what it actually stands for. The main event. Let's
<v Speaker 1>talk about this main event. Oh, as soon as I
<v Speaker 1>say main events, he shows up. Of course, Fuck of
<v Speaker 1>course he does. As soon as I say main event.
<v Speaker 1>He can't help himself. Jericho Mushow. Actually, to his credit, Jericho,
<v Speaker 1>since he's come back, has not been in any real
<v Speaker 1>main events. He's He's right where he should be. He's
<v Speaker 1>in the mid card working with other people. So I
<v Speaker 1>can't really complain about that. But we had in the
<v Speaker 1>main event, Cody Roads against Gunther, who entered first, but
<v Speaker 1>Cody jumped him on the stage and the fight was on.
<v Speaker 1>Cody took a hard spill though out to the floor
<v Speaker 1>ahead of a commercial break, and Gunther had control of
<v Speaker 1>things when they came back. Cody bounced back though with
<v Speaker 1>a Cody cutter and then a disaster kick and one
<v Speaker 1>more Cody cutter. Crossroads got blocked and Gunther he kicked
<v Speaker 1>the back of Cody's leg, so he was targeting the leg.
<v Speaker 1>He dragged him over towards the corner. He rammed his
<v Speaker 1>leg up against the ring post and then we heard
<v Speaker 1>and out he comes. We hear the music. Here comes
<v Speaker 1>the WWE champion CM Punk and Gunther is mocking him.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm not even sure if this may have aired
<v Speaker 1>during the commercial break, but he's mocking Well, let me
<v Speaker 1>know in the chat off this air during the show
<v Speaker 1>or if this was something I saw during the commercial.
<v Speaker 1>But Punk comes out and Gunther is mocking him. He
<v Speaker 1>puts Cody on his shoulders, He's going to give him
<v Speaker 1>a a GTS, but Cody got out of it and
<v Speaker 1>took him down and they I think at this point
<v Speaker 1>they cut to a brake. There's no way this happened
<v Speaker 1>during the break, and then they cut immediately to another break.
<v Speaker 1>Although this is WWE, so honestly, at this point nothing
<v Speaker 1>would shock me. Yes, he kicked his leg out of
<v Speaker 1>his leg, so now Gunther was punishing the bad leg
<v Speaker 1>with a single leg crab. Cody got out of it.
<v Speaker 1>He started targeting Gunther's leg with kicks, dragon screw and
<v Speaker 1>then a figure four leg lucked by Cody is applied.
<v Speaker 1>When all of a sudden, Sammy Zain we haven't seen
<v Speaker 1>him since he lost the WWE Championship, but he appeared
<v Speaker 1>at ringside again wearing a shirt Justice for Sammy. He
<v Speaker 1>attacks the mpunk Zayan. You know. Obviously, Cody sees Zaane
<v Speaker 1>outside of the ring, so Cody hits a suicide dive.
<v Speaker 1>The two of them are fighting, Cody got sent into
<v Speaker 1>the ring post and the referee call for the disqualification. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>the second time here on this show. At least here
<v Speaker 1>we got a legitimately solid match out of it. Not
<v Speaker 1>that I'm complaining that Jade Cargill and Naya Jackson didn't
<v Speaker 1>get ten minutes of ringtime on this show, but still
<v Speaker 1>that entire segment was fucking atrocious. Here we had the
<v Speaker 1>predictable disqualification, and the lesson here that I learned in
<v Speaker 1>watching this this was very very apparent here is that
<v Speaker 1>Gunther still cannot beat Cody Rhoades. He can't do it.
<v Speaker 1>He can't do it. He lost to Cody at Crown
<v Speaker 1>Jewel a couple of years ago. He lost to Cody
<v Speaker 1>in Italy. He lost to Cody on SmackDown. Now they
<v Speaker 1>had another match. Lost again. Here this man cannot He
<v Speaker 1>could beat John Cena, he could beat aj Styles, he
<v Speaker 1>could beat Goldberg, he could beat all these men at
<v Speaker 1>the very end of their careers. But if you're in
<v Speaker 1>the prime of your career, Gunther can't beat you. He
<v Speaker 1>can't do it. So at this point they were getting ready.
<v Speaker 1>Sammy and Gunther were to put Cody through the announced desk.
<v Speaker 1>Sammy cleared the table off, Gunther was going to power
<v Speaker 1>bomb him. Punk came jumping off the table. Big brawl
<v Speaker 1>with all four men spills into the ring, and here
<v Speaker 1>come referees and agents to unsuccessfully try to keep them apart,
<v Speaker 1>and it's chaos as the show goes off the air.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was a nice little bit of chaos
<v Speaker 1>there at the end all they really needed to do. Honestly,
<v Speaker 1>here it's the last SmackDown, the last show here before
<v Speaker 1>Saturday night's main event, and this was fine. This was
<v Speaker 1>exactly what they needed to do. I like the addition
<v Speaker 1>of the stipulation. I do think that it adds some
<v Speaker 1>intrigue that wasn't there before. Now as far as well,
<v Speaker 1>maybe maybe, right, maybe there's a chance I could see
<v Speaker 1>all four of these men being involved in the Fatal
<v Speaker 1>four way. If they weren't so heavily teasing a match
<v Speaker 1>between Gunther and Nick all this, I would say, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, maybe maybe they will do a Fatal
<v Speaker 1>four way. But it's very apparent that we're getting a
<v Speaker 1>match between gun Through and Nick all This, and so
<v Speaker 1>that's what Gunther is going to be doing at Summerslim.
<v Speaker 1>So they're absolutely one hundred percent now winning this match tomorrow,
<v Speaker 1>and it is one hundred percent going to be Nick
<v Speaker 1>alldis finally for the first time wrestling in WWE. I'm
<v Speaker 1>very curious just to see how they set it up.
<v Speaker 1>You know, do we see all this tomorrow and I
<v Speaker 1>do they hold off until SmackDown next week? Obviously Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slam is right around the corner, So whatever they're gonna do,
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna have to do it within the next week
<v Speaker 1>or so. And that's really the only question at this point.
<v Speaker 1>What Sammy's Ain does at Summer Slam is anybody's guest.
<v Speaker 1>The only thing, honestly that would even make sense at
<v Speaker 1>this point would be Sammy's Ain against Johnny Gargano. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not sure how they get to that, the idea of
<v Speaker 1>that even being a Summer Slam match, like in a
<v Speaker 1>different multiverse, the idea of doing a great wrestling match
<v Speaker 1>at a Summer Slam between Johnny Gargano right, Johnny wrestling
<v Speaker 1>from NXT Black and Gold against Sammy's Ain, I could
<v Speaker 1>absolutely see it, and they would go out there and
<v Speaker 1>it would be fantastic. This is a very different Johnny Gargano,
<v Speaker 1>who has literally been laying there for months. The idea
<v Speaker 1>that he would go from that to being in a
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam match, which is quite the leap. I can't
<v Speaker 1>think of anything else Sammy's a would be doing if
<v Speaker 1>if not that, I have no idea. He may he
<v Speaker 1>may not even be on the card. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. The war Raiders fraxy of match. As
<v Speaker 1>I said earlier, in my opinion, best not just match,
<v Speaker 1>best thing on the entire show outside of that, and
<v Speaker 1>maybe this ending. This was not a good show, not
<v Speaker 1>a good smack Down, a very skippable show with two
<v Speaker 1>very forgettable qualifiers for the women's ladder match. I greatly
<v Speaker 1>dislike this interim title nonsense. I don't like it when
<v Speaker 1>Tony Kahan does it. I don't like it here either.
<v Speaker 1>I just don't think any of it is necessary. And
<v Speaker 1>that's how I feel Saturday Night's main event tomorrow, I
<v Speaker 1>will be live fingers crossed. I will be live on
<v Speaker 1>YouTube after the show is over for the full review.
<v Speaker 1>This is the card as it stands. Roman Reigns will
<v Speaker 1>be on the show. He will be doing something with
<v Speaker 1>Jalen Brunson. We don't know what, but they will be
<v Speaker 1>together on the show. Dan Housen and JD McDonough no disqualification.
<v Speaker 1>We know Dominic Mysterio is going to be in JD
<v Speaker 1>McDonough's corner, and it sounds like Carl Anthony Towns of
<v Speaker 1>the New York Knicks may be making a cameo appearance
<v Speaker 1>to aid Dan Housen in what will I mean? As
<v Speaker 1>apparent as the outcome is in the main event, this
<v Speaker 1>is obviously the most predictable match on the show. I
<v Speaker 1>think if JD McDonough beats Dan Housen tomorrow, he may
<v Speaker 1>not make it Adam Madison, Square Garden in one Piece,
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen. They're going to be treating him like a
<v Speaker 1>god in New York City tomorrow and so obviously he's
<v Speaker 1>going to win them. Man, you don't need me to
<v Speaker 1>tell you that. We also have the women's tag team
<v Speaker 1>titles on the line, Paige and Bribella defending against Fallon
<v Speaker 1>Henley and Landy Reid. We will have new women's tag
<v Speaker 1>team champions. We also have Bailey and Lyrah Valkeria going
<v Speaker 1>one on one, and this should be a win for Lyra.
<v Speaker 1>Would not be surprised if maybe this is where they
<v Speaker 1>debut Tatum Pasley and if she were to show up
<v Speaker 1>to assist Lyra and the main event Cody Rosen, CM
<v Speaker 1>Punk taken on Gunther and Sammy Zain, and this will
<v Speaker 1>be a win for Cody and Punk because ain't neither
<v Speaker 1>one of them going to be losing between now and SummerSlam,
<v Speaker 1>and they're not turning this into a fatal four way.
<v Speaker 1>Do we see some sort of miscommunication? Do we see
<v Speaker 1>some sort of tension between them? The answer is yes, absolutely,
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent. We will see something of that nature
<v Speaker 1>happen either during the match after the match with Cody
<v Speaker 1>and Punk. Tempers will flare, things will heat up, and
<v Speaker 1>we have two weeks left I think it is until
<v Speaker 1>summer slim and things will hopefully really begin to build
<v Speaker 1>to where we can get that one week un smacked.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it's next Friday, but that one episode is SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>with that one truly money promo between CM, Punk and
<v Speaker 1>Cody Roads we haven't gone to yet. It's been very
<v Speaker 1>buddy buddy the way they set it up last week. Right, No,
<v Speaker 1>you know Punk saying maybe subconsciously, you know this is
<v Speaker 1>a match that we've both been avoiding because we're both friends,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't want to do anything to jeopardize that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm so happy your friends will cut the bullshit and
<v Speaker 1>let's get down to brass tacks here. Clearly, you guys
<v Speaker 1>have a lot on your mind. I'm sure to share
<v Speaker 1>about one another and the journeys that both of you
<v Speaker 1>have taken to get to where you are today. So
<v Speaker 1>why don't you talk about that. Let's hear it, let's
<v Speaker 1>have it out right. We still have to get that,
<v Speaker 1>that's what's really gonna I mean, look, people are gonna
<v Speaker 1>want to see the match regardless, but I mean in
<v Speaker 1>terms of like selling that main event. We still have
<v Speaker 1>to get that. Maybe they just do a contract signing
<v Speaker 1>like they did with Roman and Seth this week, which
<v Speaker 1>is so just trite and played out at this point.
<v Speaker 1>But as long as we get that verbal exchange, that's
<v Speaker 1>really what I'm waiting on there, because I am looking
<v Speaker 1>forward to the match. Even though they may run Roman
<v Speaker 1>in Seth as the main event on Night two, they
<v Speaker 1>have more history together. It's Roman, right, I mean, Roman
<v Speaker 1>got the Night two main event, but he got the
<v Speaker 1>Night two main event also because you know, him and
<v Speaker 1>Punk was the bigger match than Cody and Randy, which
<v Speaker 1>they sabotaged. TKO sabotaged. They didn't see it that way,
<v Speaker 1>but that's basically what happened. So it made sense for
<v Speaker 1>Roman and Punk to get most of the spotlight and
<v Speaker 1>the attention this year WrestleMania. Roman and Seth will probably
<v Speaker 1>get it this year, but the main event that I'm
<v Speaker 1>looking forward to is Cody and Punk. So let's take
<v Speaker 1>a look at your super chats. We got a bunch
<v Speaker 1>of them to go through here, and we also have
<v Speaker 1>to check where we are on the goal, which was
<v Speaker 1>four fifty. We were at four twenty eight, so we're
<v Speaker 1>still twenty or so short off the goal. We gotta
<v Speaker 1>get that up. We're very close. Yeah, it's a good point.
<v Speaker 1>We actually have two main events coming up for the
<v Speaker 1>two major shows in August in WWE and a w
<v Speaker 1>World title, main events that are based on friendship. We
<v Speaker 1>have two friends. I respect you, I love you, Brev.
<v Speaker 1>You are my inspiration, Brev. And then here we have
<v Speaker 1>two men who boy, you know, maybe we've been avoiding
<v Speaker 1>this because we're friends. It's a little much. We need
<v Speaker 1>some heat. We need some heat between these men death sithe.
<v Speaker 1>Let's start with you. Bred. Back at the twenty twenty
<v Speaker 1>two Royal Rumble, Seth came out to the Shield theme
<v Speaker 1>music and dressed up in the Shield attire to play
<v Speaker 1>mind games with Roman. What if Roman returns the favor
<v Speaker 1>by doing the same at summerslim M wouldn't really fit
<v Speaker 1>the whole tribal chief thing if he came out any
<v Speaker 1>other way but with the ulafalla around his neck and
<v Speaker 1>the way that he usually does. I mean, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying he can't come out in the tactical vest, but
<v Speaker 1>it's not something I'm expecting. GMB, will you dress as
<v Speaker 1>the Painmaker for a stream. No, I think the Painmaker
<v Speaker 1>looks completely ridiculous. Hey Nico, what's going on? Eco's got
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of super chats here? Why WWEE couldn't have
<v Speaker 1>re evacate the title? Can't stand the whole Interim Champion
<v Speaker 1>seems ridiculous because it is ridiculous. Doesn't seem ridiculous, It
<v Speaker 1>is ridiculous, says I gonna see The Odyssey tomorrow afternoon.
<v Speaker 1>How was it? That was great? I have some more
<v Speaker 1>thoughts on Sunday. You'll enjoy it very loud, as certain
<v Speaker 1>Nolan movies are known to be very very loud in
<v Speaker 1>certain scenes. He says. I saw Evil Dead Burn, very
<v Speaker 1>violent in gory, and there's a mid credit scene in
<v Speaker 1>a post credit scene for anyone who is going to
<v Speaker 1>watch it interesting. I saw Toy Story five really good,
<v Speaker 1>enjoyed it. Theater was packed and there were two scenes
<v Speaker 1>that made me shed a tear. That was also a
<v Speaker 1>great movie. Because I don't know how you felt about
<v Speaker 1>the promo between Osprey and Omega, but Will. When Will
<v Speaker 1>said they're gonna be like Goku and Vegeta, I put
<v Speaker 1>my head down and cringed. Yeah, I'll include my thoughts
<v Speaker 1>in my Dynamite review on Wednesday. On Sunday, it'll be
<v Speaker 1>on the sound off who do you got for the
<v Speaker 1>latter match at SummerSlam. We don't know all the women
<v Speaker 1>in the match yet, so it's kind of impossible for
<v Speaker 1>me to make a prediction as to who it's going
<v Speaker 1>to be until we know who's qualifying, just based on
<v Speaker 1>who it looks like is going to be in the match.
<v Speaker 1>I think we're looking at Charlotte or Jade. You know
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany's in, but it's not going to be her. Think
<v Speaker 1>you're looking at Charlotte or you're looking at Jade. It's
<v Speaker 1>pretty much one of those two. The last thing we
<v Speaker 1>need is Charlotte, or not Charlotte, but Riha and Jade.
<v Speaker 1>When we just got it a couple of times we
<v Speaker 1>had a WrestleMania, we got it in Italy. We don't
<v Speaker 1>need it again. That leaves Charlotte Flair. Someone on IG
<v Speaker 1>asked Bianca if she watches WWE since she's been out.
<v Speaker 1>She says, no, I don't blame her for not watching
<v Speaker 1>the pro well, I don't believe that. I believe that
<v Speaker 1>she does watch Montes's stuff. The rest of the show.
<v Speaker 1>The show she might not watch. I don't blame her.
<v Speaker 1>Why would she watch it? The fucking show is awful
<v Speaker 1>most of the time. Believe me, there are plenty of
<v Speaker 1>weeks where if I didn't have to, I wouldn't watch
<v Speaker 1>it either. Nico says, I don't see Joseph Stewart here, Briscilla.
<v Speaker 1>Did you see that Warner Brothers pushed The Batman Part
<v Speaker 1>two to February of twenty twenty eight. I did, I did.
<v Speaker 1>I'm still skeptical that GTASA coming out this year. People
<v Speaker 1>aren't gonna want to hear that, but I still think
<v Speaker 1>it's going to get delayed again. Death Side says, I
<v Speaker 1>guess Rhea didn't want to do the job to vacant
<v Speaker 1>Live Laugh Love Lie. I like Fallon Henley, so does
<v Speaker 1>Aaron Solo BROLLI. Based on WWE logic, why isn't there
<v Speaker 1>an interim title holder for World Women's Championship since Live
<v Speaker 1>has not defended it in over one hundred days? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I said this the other night. I think it was
<v Speaker 1>on TNT. We need to reinstate the thirty day rule.
<v Speaker 1>I know they haven't abided by it in many, many years,
<v Speaker 1>but we need to bring it back. We need to
<v Speaker 1>bring back the thirty day rule. If you do not
<v Speaker 1>defend your championship at least once every thirty days, you're
<v Speaker 1>stripped of the title. This is just out of control,
<v Speaker 1>absolutely addict. And that goes for all titles, tag team titles,
<v Speaker 1>singles titles, all titles. So Tiffany and Jade qualify cyh. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but she had to expect that that was coming. Handy
<v Speaker 1>dandy notebook. We're quoting blues clues now. When is Blake
<v Speaker 1>Monroe gonna have her debut match? I don't know. She
<v Speaker 1>may just continue to beat people up in the back
<v Speaker 1>for the rest of the year. It'll be less stressful
<v Speaker 1>on her body. She may have come up with a
<v Speaker 1>perfect way to not have to take bumps. Just beat
<v Speaker 1>everybody up in the back, don't even get in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>try chicken. I hate what WWE did with Obafemi's booking.
<v Speaker 1>It's not logical. Sometimes I feel like Triple H keeps
<v Speaker 1>trying too hard to defy define logic. Yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I talked about it on Monday, the Obafemi explanation. They
<v Speaker 1>tried the shoehorn one in there two weeks later and
<v Speaker 1>it just made the situation worse. And there are there
<v Speaker 1>are still people out there who after he said that
<v Speaker 1>on Monday, were like, oh, this is great. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why people are complaining. This is the perfect explanation.
<v Speaker 1>Those are the people that WWE is catering to. Logic
<v Speaker 1>does not come into play with these people. Deaths I says,
<v Speaker 1>I watched Evil Dead Burn it. Let me just say,
<v Speaker 1>if this was the meanest entry in the Evil Dead franchise,
<v Speaker 1>then I'm expecting Evil Dead Wrath to be on crack.
<v Speaker 1>I'm talking NC seventeen territory. Yet I never got into
<v Speaker 1>the Evil Dead movies. I probably should. It feels like
<v Speaker 1>something is a fan of the genre that I should have,
<v Speaker 1>you know, been all caught up with uncause his Solother's
<v Speaker 1>VI of Cody doing field goal kicks at Fanatics Fest.
<v Speaker 1>Hope he doesn't quit his day job. Yeah, I noticed
<v Speaker 1>that in the Fanatics Fest stuff that they showed on
<v Speaker 1>the show tonight. They conveniently left that out. They didn't
<v Speaker 1>show that. Gee, I wonder why death Side says I'll
<v Speaker 1>use two Cannibal Corpse albums as the perfect analogies. If
<v Speaker 1>Evil Dead Burn was butchered at birth, then I'm expecting
<v Speaker 1>Evil Dead Raft to be Tomb of the Mutilated. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I'll take your word for it. I'm completely lost, but okay,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure that will make sense to some people. Here,
<v Speaker 1>Eco says another SmackDown another episode Broley halfway into watching
<v Speaker 1>Obsession and holy shit, oh wait, that's all you get
<v Speaker 1>to the second half. Still my favorite movie of the year.
<v Speaker 1>Fucking great Chicago for MBK, Welcome back Solo, you fucking lot.
<v Speaker 1>There is there he is yet again. Fuck that tree.
<v Speaker 1>Fucked that tree. Indeed, now ten out of fifteen on
<v Speaker 1>the bonus goal and we are at four hundred and
<v Speaker 1>sixty three likes, which means we have unlocked one round
<v Speaker 1>of be the Booker. There you go. Hey Chicago for MBK,
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, brother Raheem Cody a five dollars super chat.
<v Speaker 1>What in ring couple will leave a bigger impact in
<v Speaker 1>wrestling history? Savage and Elizabeth for Maxine and Theory and
<v Speaker 1>can you see the similarities. I do believe that you're
<v Speaker 1>just trying to get under my skin and it's working.
<v Speaker 1>Dried chicken without flavor with a five dollars super cent.
<v Speaker 1>England fans, including the wrestlers, wanted to see the World
<v Speaker 1>Cup trophy come home, but Leah Messi from Argentina said
<v Speaker 1>that don't work for me. Brother, Yeah, I saw well.
<v Speaker 1>I watched Dynamite the other night and I saw Alex
<v Speaker 1>Windsor and Jamie Hayter brought that up. They're very upset
<v Speaker 1>that England let them down in the World Cup. Nico
<v Speaker 1>with the two bucks, Thank you, Nico. Wish Jace won
<v Speaker 1>the match. Yes, you and me both. That should have
<v Speaker 1>been JC Jane getting a spot in that ladder match.
<v Speaker 1>She doesn't have to win the ladder match, but she
<v Speaker 1>should have been in the ladder match. Ridiculous that she's not.
<v Speaker 1>Heart of Debonair with a ten hey solo, your top
<v Speaker 1>five favorite finishes today and your most iconic food nishers.
<v Speaker 1>I have no idea what that means of all times.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know the second half. I could tell you
<v Speaker 1>the first half, the Sharpshooter. It's not really a finish today.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if we're talking all time, it would be
<v Speaker 1>on my list. In terms of today. It's tough today
<v Speaker 1>because finishers aren't finishers today. Finishers don't actually finish matches anymore.
<v Speaker 1>I don't have very many current favorite finishers because they
<v Speaker 1>don't mean what they used to mean. Unfortunately, and that's
<v Speaker 1>across the board in wrestling. They're just not protected the
<v Speaker 1>way they used to be. I'm trying to see if
<v Speaker 1>I had like one favorite finishing maneuver. I mean, convoluted
<v Speaker 1>as it is, because obviously, you know, he doesn't have
<v Speaker 1>to do the flip lip's not really adding all that
<v Speaker 1>much to it. But the buckshot, Larry, It is not
<v Speaker 1>an easy move to do. Hangman manages to pull it off.
<v Speaker 1>When I see other people attempt it and it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>look quite as smooth, it makes me appreciate him doing
<v Speaker 1>it even more. I mean, the buckshot would be up there, man. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, brother, you know what, I'll go with
<v Speaker 1>the destroyer. I appreciate the fact that Penta is actually
<v Speaker 1>finishing matches with the destroyer now, even if other people
<v Speaker 1>are abusing the move. The best answer I could give
<v Speaker 1>you is the low blow. The low blow is the
<v Speaker 1>most powerful finishing maneuver in all of wrestling. The low
<v Speaker 1>blow to this day continues to end more matches probably
<v Speaker 1>than any other single move, or at least lead to
<v Speaker 1>the finish. So the nutshot would be my answer. True
<v Speaker 1>Crime unleash Blake Monroe is in dark matches before SmackDown. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>and Jordan Grace is in main event matches before SmackDown?
<v Speaker 1>What are we doing here? What are we doing? Broley
<v Speaker 1>just finished Obsession And what a great fucking movie. Indy
<v Speaker 1>is a hell of an actor. Went from having a
<v Speaker 1>crush on her to being scared of her. She's terrifying
<v Speaker 1>in that movie. She is terrifying in that movie. EJ.
<v Speaker 1>Slimp says a hot take. Even with full WCW and
<v Speaker 1>ww F rosters, the Invasion would have still sucked. Most
<v Speaker 1>invasion angles do, except CZW against ROH. What are your thoughts? No?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if the invasion angle was done proper, really,
<v Speaker 1>with the adequate number of big names involved, it absolutely
<v Speaker 1>could have been successful. The idea was to actually split
<v Speaker 1>WCW off as its own brand long term. Would it
<v Speaker 1>have worked. I don't know. I think you could have
<v Speaker 1>done it long enough at least to get to a
<v Speaker 1>true WrestleMania esque supercard. Even if you just did it
<v Speaker 1>once and not every year, you could have built something
<v Speaker 1>like that over a period of a year or two.
<v Speaker 1>It absolutely could have. It could have worked. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>the odds were against it, but it absolutely could have worked.
<v Speaker 1>Venom Ktetsu taking a very extended birthday weekend, plan on
<v Speaker 1>catching all the Solo Mooster content during this time. Here's
<v Speaker 1>to your Internet staying alive in my power staying on.
<v Speaker 1>We had an outage today and one last week. Well
<v Speaker 1>that sucks, especially in the heat. Yeah, that's that's what
<v Speaker 1>people thought happened to me the other night. They're like, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>power went out, all right, because the weather has been
<v Speaker 1>kind of crazy. Nope. I kind of wish it was
<v Speaker 1>the power that went out, because then the power comes
<v Speaker 1>back on and everything goes back to normal. But instead
<v Speaker 1>I had to deal with this bullshit this week and
<v Speaker 1>it's still not working. But it's all good because I'm
<v Speaker 1>hard wired in now. I got a wire across my
<v Speaker 1>f I gotta make sure I don't trip over the wire,
<v Speaker 1>but I got a wire, so we took care of that. Again.
<v Speaker 1>It's the Bluetooth now that is completely vanished from my
<v Speaker 1>system here and has rendered me unable to use my
<v Speaker 1>PS five controller for any sort of sound of gamer
<v Speaker 1>content that I had on the agenda. Until I can
<v Speaker 1>get that resolved, I'm unable to I have all these
<v Speaker 1>games I actually paid for in Steam, I haven't installed
<v Speaker 1>them yet there, they're sitting there, they're paid for, and
<v Speaker 1>now I can't even do anything with them. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>that's great, that's just great. That's just great. But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>happy birthday, Venom Katatsu. I hope you have a birthday
<v Speaker 1>that was much better than my week. All the fun.
<v Speaker 1>I wish you all the fun, and hopefully I don't
<v Speaker 1>know where you are, but hopefully you're not choking on
<v Speaker 1>this wildfire smoke we are choking on here. It's weird,
<v Speaker 1>Like I came out of the story yesterday and it's
<v Speaker 1>just this like orange haze, Like what what is this? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>I mean technically, I guess I could try to wire
<v Speaker 1>the controller, but I'm all tapped out on ports. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we'll see. It's not ideal, though I have a fucking wire.
<v Speaker 1>Got enough wires. Shouldn't have to do that, though, Dude,
<v Speaker 1>that's the whole point. I had the capability to do
<v Speaker 1>without a wire before. Why all of a sudden would
<v Speaker 1>I have to use a wire? No one, I can't
<v Speaker 1>seem to find an answer to this question. I can't
<v Speaker 1>seem to find a solution to this problem, and this
<v Speaker 1>is really annoying me. There's no reason for this. A
<v Speaker 1>heart of Debonair says, Hey, solo after WWE unreal. Do
<v Speaker 1>you think keeping many of Vince's creative team is why
<v Speaker 1>WWE still feels repetitive? Should creative be led by former
<v Speaker 1>wrestlers instead of TV writers? And does AW rely more
<v Speaker 1>on wrestlers? I feel like there is more of an
<v Speaker 1>ex wrestler influence maybe, but Tony Kahan is still the
<v Speaker 1>one who ultimately makes all the ideas and writes all
<v Speaker 1>the shows. There's not I mean, it's a collaboration based
<v Speaker 1>on what he has said, but it still comes down
<v Speaker 1>to him very much in the way that before it
<v Speaker 1>came down to Vince, where it's like one truly one
<v Speaker 1>man's vision. I think you definitely have some old hats
<v Speaker 1>who still work for WWE, who you know should not
<v Speaker 1>have as much influence on the creative process as they
<v Speaker 1>have in the past. Then you should get some new
<v Speaker 1>voices in the room. The thing you got to be
<v Speaker 1>careful with is there are a lot of wrestlers who
<v Speaker 1>have really terrible fucking ideas, and so just because you're
<v Speaker 1>an ex wrestler does not mean that you are fit
<v Speaker 1>to be on the creative team. So if you could
<v Speaker 1>find former wrestlers that that's great. I think that's terrific,
<v Speaker 1>but they have to have an aptitude for it. They
<v Speaker 1>have to have, you know, a creative eye to do
<v Speaker 1>that job, and a lot of these guys don't. Because
<v Speaker 1>there have been stories about wrestlers that have come up
<v Speaker 1>with ideas or pitched ideas, and or even on podcasts
<v Speaker 1>have talked about ideas they've had for their own characters,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm like, Eh, thank god that guy didn't get
<v Speaker 1>that idea through. Do you really want that on the
<v Speaker 1>creative team? Hopefully they have a good way of like
<v Speaker 1>weeding those out. Death Size says when Sammy and Gunther lose,
<v Speaker 1>it's Saturday night's main event. What if Sammy somehow becomes
<v Speaker 1>the special guest referee between Punk and Cody, you can say,
<v Speaker 1>I'm calling it down the middle, but whoever wins, I'm
<v Speaker 1>next in line. I wouldn't mind him being the referee.
<v Speaker 1>But then I think you may end up with a
<v Speaker 1>situation where we don't get a winner. It could give
<v Speaker 1>them a cop out reason to not give us a winner.
<v Speaker 1>That would be my only fear, and what a lame
<v Speaker 1>ending that would be. But yeah, you know what that
<v Speaker 1>honestly that might be the role that makes the most
<v Speaker 1>sense for him is to let him be the referee.
<v Speaker 1>It's a retread of what we already saw because he
<v Speaker 1>was already a referee, but it might be the only
<v Speaker 1>role for him on the entire show anyway. Heart of
<v Speaker 1>Debonair with a five is Macho Man underrated? Underrated feels
<v Speaker 1>like he's never in the same conversation as Hogan, Austin
<v Speaker 1>Flair Rock is either triple h or seth rawlins of
<v Speaker 1>his era. I can't I get what you mean by that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he's never in the conversation when it comes to like
<v Speaker 1>the Mount rushmore like business wise, most influential names in
<v Speaker 1>wrestling history like a Hogan or an Austin Sena would
<v Speaker 1>be a more modern example. He didn't have the kind
<v Speaker 1>of effect on business that those guys did. Believe me,
<v Speaker 1>he sold plenty of tickets in his day. Influential. You
<v Speaker 1>can't say that Randy Savage is not influential. You still
<v Speaker 1>have people to this day who love dressing up as
<v Speaker 1>Macho Man. Might have been people who weren't even alive
<v Speaker 1>when Savage was in his prime, So he's definitely had
<v Speaker 1>an influen. Was a great wrestler. He had great matches,
<v Speaker 1>you know, is often emulated, but he's just not. He's
<v Speaker 1>kind of a level below just because he just wasn't
<v Speaker 1>that type of like megastar in the way that some
<v Speaker 1>of those guys were. Like if you were to say, okay,
<v Speaker 1>if you're Vince McMahon at that time, late eighties, let's say,
<v Speaker 1>and you can only pick one who's going to be
<v Speaker 1>the guy that you're going to rely upon to be
<v Speaker 1>your top star and sell tickets. Are you going with
<v Speaker 1>Hogan or are you going with Savage? He's going with Hogan,
<v Speaker 1>And most promoters probably would have gone with Hulk Hogan
<v Speaker 1>because he was just the bigger star now he was
<v Speaker 1>given that platform. If Savage was given that platform, would
<v Speaker 1>he have gotten as big as Hogan? Maybe, but I'm
<v Speaker 1>not convinced he would have. You know, he had orrisma
<v Speaker 1>like Hogan did, but Hogan it was different. But Savage
<v Speaker 1>is one of my I mean, Savage and Bratt those
<v Speaker 1>are my guys, right. There can't go wrong with Randy Savage,
<v Speaker 1>Ossie of Steel. Two things. Number One, the interim title
<v Speaker 1>situation is stupid and unnecessary. Number Two, I hate how
<v Speaker 1>much they've cooled off Fatal Influence after the run that
<v Speaker 1>they had last year. Yeah, I don't like it either,
<v Speaker 1>but they have a knack for doing that. They have
<v Speaker 1>a knack for cooling off talent. Fatal Influence are not
<v Speaker 1>the only ones they've done this with. They did it
<v Speaker 1>with Bron, They've done it with Fatu, They've done it
<v Speaker 1>with plenty of other people. Death Side. I feel your pain, Solo.
<v Speaker 1>Last time my WiFi went down, I almost threw my
<v Speaker 1>fucking box into a blender, into an incinerator and then
<v Speaker 1>nuked it several times until this earth turns to ash.
<v Speaker 1>That's kind of how I felt this week again when
<v Speaker 1>I say Wi Fi, it's not the network, it's the
<v Speaker 1>actual Wi Fi card. Something happened and it was replaced,
<v Speaker 1>and then it happened again, which again is just very
<v Speaker 1>very bizarre to me. And then to make it even worse,
<v Speaker 1>I get it back. Oh yeah, yeah, we put the
<v Speaker 1>new card on there and everything, and now the thing
<v Speaker 1>it's it's overheating, like to where it's hot to the touch.
<v Speaker 1>I'm trying to type stuff, it's hot to the touch.
<v Speaker 1>And I run, you know, a diagnostic test, and it's
<v Speaker 1>coming back and it's different temperature readings for different cores.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you have your main CPU temperature reading and
<v Speaker 1>then you have your GPU temperature reading. The CPU temperature reading,
<v Speaker 1>and I posted somewhere and I got yelled at because
<v Speaker 1>I posted it in fahrenheits fucked me. I know, got
<v Speaker 1>to post it in Celsius. But in Fahrenheit, the CPU
<v Speaker 1>was up to I believe, I want to say it
<v Speaker 1>was one hundred and ninety four degrees fahrenheit and the
<v Speaker 1>GPU was at one hundred and ninety nine degrees fahrenheit.
<v Speaker 1>So what is that in the seventies celsius. That's not normal.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, what happened? I got my computer bag with
<v Speaker 1>a brand new WiFi card. Now it's overheating. So I
<v Speaker 1>went into the power management settings and you know, it's
<v Speaker 1>max it's maxed at one hundred percent in terms of
<v Speaker 1>like process management power, and I lowered it. I lowered
<v Speaker 1>it to ninety nine. As soon as I lowered it
<v Speaker 1>to ninety nine percent, the fans instantly got quiet. Cool.
<v Speaker 1>I swear to god, it cool to thirty degrees. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>holy shit, but you got to watch because if you
<v Speaker 1>do that even one percent, now you're sacrificing processing power.
<v Speaker 1>But this thing is a beast. So it's been it's
<v Speaker 1>been okay, even at ninety nine percent. It's amazing just
<v Speaker 1>that one little change and how things came down by
<v Speaker 1>so many degrees. I don't know what they did. If
<v Speaker 1>it's been a mess, it's just been a mess, totally,
<v Speaker 1>just totally stressed out this week, totally stressed out this week.
<v Speaker 1>But we're trying, man, We're trying to soldier through it
<v Speaker 1>and you know, keep doing all the shows. I'm way
<v Speaker 1>behind now because I lost two days to this shit,
<v Speaker 1>two days that I needed. I only first got done
<v Speaker 1>watching The Dark Side of the Ring this morning. I
<v Speaker 1>haven't even put anything together for I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to do with that, but I'm trying to
<v Speaker 1>figure it out as we go, So we'll figure it out.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what happened, but we'll figure it out.
<v Speaker 1>Venom Kotetsu, I know it's wrestling, but we are supposed
<v Speaker 1>to buy that Johnny is being dragged through airport customs
<v Speaker 1>or being loaded into a car to get from show
<v Speaker 1>to show. Yeah, you're supposed to just sh supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be quiet. Well, I mean it's the same thing with
<v Speaker 1>Dan housen. Are we supposed to believe that he drags
<v Speaker 1>his laboratory everywhere he goes. Once you're breaking ninety c,
<v Speaker 1>you're in trouble, dude. I'm telling you, well, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if it was ninety c, although I guess if that,
<v Speaker 1>what would the equivalent be of ninety CX? I flipped
<v Speaker 1>over to fahrenheit and it was pretty much right around
<v Speaker 1>two hundred degrees fahrenheit. I opened the core temps at
<v Speaker 1>the core temp app and my guy, the the alerts
<v Speaker 1>were pop it off, the alert the critical warnings were
<v Speaker 1>pop it off for like core one, two, three, four
<v Speaker 1>or five six. It's like a power plant, you know
<v Speaker 1>where like we lost we lost this one, we lost
<v Speaker 1>that one, and they're just going out one by one.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, what is going on here? This wasn't happening before.
<v Speaker 1>What did they do? What did they touch when they
<v Speaker 1>opened it up? It's not a desktop. It's not a desktop.
<v Speaker 1>I actually had a thermal paste applied like a year
<v Speaker 1>and a half ago. They were like, oh, okay, well
<v Speaker 1>then we won't bother because it's probably not that so
<v Speaker 1>Joseph Brooks. Let's say the Rocks contract in five doesn't
<v Speaker 1>expire and the Rock does commit fully to Hollywood. Yet
<v Speaker 1>I think he means doesn't commit. Do you think he
<v Speaker 1>could have gotten Sting in WWE earlier? Probably if he
<v Speaker 1>really wanted to work with him and he sent feelers
<v Speaker 1>out to him. I think he probably could have lured
<v Speaker 1>him over a lot sooner because he probably would have
<v Speaker 1>wanted to. He probably would have made it like his
<v Speaker 1>own personal pet project, you know, to want to work
<v Speaker 1>with him. Then he might have been able to get
<v Speaker 1>him in earlier. Senor Kavanaugh says, I skipped sixty four
<v Speaker 1>percent of the show tonight, bro hashtag boring. Really, I
<v Speaker 1>would have thought you would have skipped like sixty eight.
<v Speaker 1>Joseph says. Obafemi is everything Ahmed Johnson could have been
<v Speaker 1>if he could wrestle and actually speak English. Did Ahmed
<v Speaker 1>do anything good in wrestling? Yes? He did. He left
<v Speaker 1>uh Bucky freaking Dent. What's your favorite Howie Rose call?
<v Speaker 1>Mine is when he called Stefan Metteo's game winning goal
<v Speaker 1>against the Devils in the nineteen ninety four Eastern Conference Final.
<v Speaker 1>I actually don't have a specific Howie Rose call. I
<v Speaker 1>just I like how he rose, and I think he's
<v Speaker 1>a great broadcaster, but I was never really listening to
<v Speaker 1>his radio calls. I was always watching, you know, on TV.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't think I have one specific call that
<v Speaker 1>I could really point to. Good timing on the music.
<v Speaker 1>When Solo mentioned Signor's super chat, that was just a coincidence.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even notice it until you just brought it up.
<v Speaker 1>Send you your Kavanaugh, Aaron Solo, quick question, when does
<v Speaker 1>Monks close tonight? As always, thanks for what you do
<v Speaker 1>for the Solo Maniacs. Much love. Monks is open all
<v Speaker 1>night long, Brother, all night long, Alexander. One day we
<v Speaker 1>will get an episode of Raw or smack Down with
<v Speaker 1>no matches, just angles and promos. Oh, it's it's coming.
<v Speaker 1>It would be like a Vince McMahon wet dream or
<v Speaker 1>switch to MacBook for a laptom. Yeah, you know what. Well,
<v Speaker 1>here's the thing. There was a period of time where
<v Speaker 1>I would travel more with the laptop. Now, I mean
<v Speaker 1>obviously use it as a desktop, but I still have
<v Speaker 1>this machine because certainly at the time I got it,
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I want it as specked out as possible,
<v Speaker 1>because you know, running obs and doing some video editing stuff.
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to make sure, it had all of the
<v Speaker 1>power that it needed. But I went with the gaming laptop,
<v Speaker 1>even though I rarely did gaming, because the gaming laptops
<v Speaker 1>had good specs. So even even now after you know,
<v Speaker 1>all these years, it's still specs are really good, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and still got a lot of storage, you know, on
<v Speaker 1>the hard drive and everything. It's just to junk it
<v Speaker 1>over such a stupid random thing just doesn't make sense
<v Speaker 1>to me. You know. If I had more space to
<v Speaker 1>deal with, believe me, there would be a very different
<v Speaker 1>desktop set up here. But I've given thoughts to like
<v Speaker 1>I've been, I've been a Windows guy. It's kind of
<v Speaker 1>weird because like with the uh, the phone and the
<v Speaker 1>tablet and the watch, it's all Apple stuff. But I've
<v Speaker 1>never had a Mac. Never had a Mac or a MacBook.
<v Speaker 1>I've never had mac os or anything like that. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if it would be too steep of a
<v Speaker 1>learning curve, you know, there's certain things I need to
<v Speaker 1>be able to use, and and you know, do I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I've thought about it, you know, I've thought
<v Speaker 1>about it. Just fuck Windows. Maybe I'll just go Mac.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they've got these these Mac desktops. Max Studio
<v Speaker 1>whatever it is. I don't know. I don't know. I'm
<v Speaker 1>certainly open to uh too, feedback for those who have
<v Speaker 1>used it or have it, and uh and what you
<v Speaker 1>guys think. I wonder if I wonder if a lot
<v Speaker 1>of those games that I have purchased and saved in
<v Speaker 1>the steam would even work on a MAC. I know
<v Speaker 1>certain ones wouldn't. Some would, but some of them wouldn't.
<v Speaker 1>Alexander says, uh, oh, Alexander, I read your was rock Hawk.
<v Speaker 1>That was the next one. This Gargano laray stuff reminds
<v Speaker 1>me of Johnny two by four from the ed Ed
<v Speaker 1>and Eddie cartoon. Johnny two by four, don't do mac.
<v Speaker 1>If something breaks, the whole thing is dead. Geez. For
<v Speaker 1>the prices they charge, it shouldn't be. Price as they
<v Speaker 1>charge are insane, insane. EJ. Slim says, wouldn't surprise me
<v Speaker 1>if mis took the pay cut that New Day and
<v Speaker 1>Seamus refuse. He's too willing to be the company guy
<v Speaker 1>and do pr I don't respect that. Yeah, I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>be surprised if he was one of those who was
<v Speaker 1>offered and he took it. And look, I don't fault
<v Speaker 1>him for it because I'm sure, whatever, Let's just say
<v Speaker 1>hypothetically he did if he even if he was making
<v Speaker 1>forty or fifty percent less, he's probably still making really
<v Speaker 1>good money, you know what I mean. And he's always
<v Speaker 1>been willing to go out and do whatever they want
<v Speaker 1>him to do. He's a very valuable asset for them.
<v Speaker 1>Even if he's never on TV these days or rarely
<v Speaker 1>on TV. I wouldn't be surprised, but I'm not going
<v Speaker 1>to fault him for it. Jeremy Rose TKO making their
<v Speaker 1>presence felt with the interim title. Yeah, it's very annoying.
<v Speaker 1>I have a Mac for work. It's great. I would
<v Speaker 1>never have it for my main computer. But anyone's saying
<v Speaker 1>Mac isn't great, Well, that's the thing. It would be
<v Speaker 1>my main computer, so it would most definitely it would
<v Speaker 1>be my It would be my everything. Really, it would
<v Speaker 1>be my primary workstation for everything obs streaming, video editing,
<v Speaker 1>some light graphics work, word processing, some light gaming. B
<v Speaker 1>Man the Champ. I'm glad they gave the tag match
<v Speaker 1>some stakes instead of have a tag team match, just
<v Speaker 1>because now I'm actually intrigued. I thought it was a
<v Speaker 1>good idea to put that stipulation in there, so I
<v Speaker 1>mean that I liked. Bobby means my birthday is Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>so if you all would wish me a happy birthday,
<v Speaker 1>Happy Birthday Bobby means everybody in the chat wish Bobby
<v Speaker 1>a happy birthday and throw up those cake emojis. EJ.
<v Speaker 1>Slimp says, how old were you during the OJ chase
<v Speaker 1>slash trial? Do you remember it? Ten years since the
<v Speaker 1>ESPN doc and FX series rewatch both of them this week.
<v Speaker 1>The documentary is better. I will just say that, yes,
<v Speaker 1>I do remember it. I'm pretty sure that the chase
<v Speaker 1>happened during one of the NBA Finals games between the
<v Speaker 1>Knicks and the Rockets, and I remember watching that live
<v Speaker 1>and they had a split screen so that I remember.
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy Rose says, since we all know Ria is winning
<v Speaker 1>back the title, oh, they need to pick the Sammy
<v Speaker 1>z Ain version in the women's division and have her
<v Speaker 1>win the title to drop it to Ria the first SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>I mean raw that she's healthy. Well, I mean, on
<v Speaker 1>that note, who would you say would be the Sammy
<v Speaker 1>z Ain of the women's division on SmackDown? And would
<v Speaker 1>that be considered a compliment or an insult? I'm not
<v Speaker 1>sure who would be the Sami Zain of the women's division.
<v Speaker 1>Is there a samise Ain of the women's division? Who
<v Speaker 1>would that person be? Retro Kh Since you love horror,
<v Speaker 1>did you ever see pontypool. It's a mind fuck where
<v Speaker 1>the literal English language is the killer, so unlike social media,
<v Speaker 1>where the literal English language is killed on an everyday basis.
<v Speaker 1>I've not seen pontypool. I've not heard of pontypool. I
<v Speaker 1>like saying that word, though, because it sounds kind of funny. Pontypool.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what it means. I haven't seen it.
<v Speaker 1>Be man the chant. Traditional match idea Traditional Survivor Series
<v Speaker 1>Gauntlet elimination match. Two guys start team members on outside
<v Speaker 1>of the ring like lumberjack, no tags allowed. Once someone
<v Speaker 1>has eliminated, their teammate takes their place. Interesting and you
<v Speaker 1>would have to decide which teammate do They decide by
<v Speaker 1>coin flip, rock, paper scissors. I don't hate it. It's
<v Speaker 1>kind of an interesting spin on an old idea. Omber
<v Speaker 1>twelve out of fifteen on the bonus goal, we're close.
<v Speaker 1>We're not there, but we're close. Nick Grosso of the
<v Speaker 1>nineteen ninety nine I think Fallon Henley has the potential
<v Speaker 1>to be the breakout star from Fatal Influence. Also, if
<v Speaker 1>you haven't seen her interview with Cody, check it out.
<v Speaker 1>I like her even more hearing about raising her nieces
<v Speaker 1>after her sister passed away. I saw part of the interview.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't see the entire thing. I mean, obviously the
<v Speaker 1>story that Cody shared, which was very shitty of him
<v Speaker 1>to do about Aaron Solo, got a lot of play,
<v Speaker 1>but from what I saw from the rest of it,
<v Speaker 1>it was very good. I if you remember on the
<v Speaker 1>sound off in the last few years when I was
<v Speaker 1>still paying more attention to NXT, I was putting over
<v Speaker 1>Fallon Henley and saying I thought she could be a
<v Speaker 1>breakout star, and I thought that if they were gonna
<v Speaker 1>put the championship on anybody. That's why I was shocked
<v Speaker 1>when they had Stephanie Vicaire lose to j C. Jane.
<v Speaker 1>You know, in that night, I remember we were doing TNT,
<v Speaker 1>and it's obviously we do TNT on Tuesday nights. I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't watching NXT that night, and there's people in the
<v Speaker 1>chat that are mentioning, you know what happened on the show,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm like j C. Jane beat Stephanie Vicaire and
<v Speaker 1>is the new champion. I was like, I was blown
<v Speaker 1>away by this. If anything, I would have thought it
<v Speaker 1>would be Fallen Henley who would be in that spot,
<v Speaker 1>and JC, to her credit, has really grown into that role. Fallon, though,
<v Speaker 1>still has the potential I think to be a women's champion.
<v Speaker 1>Lady Reid, I haven't seen as much of her. From
<v Speaker 1>what I've seen of her, she's fine. I just haven't
<v Speaker 1>seen enough of her to form an opinion on whether
<v Speaker 1>or not she has that same potential. But I definitely
<v Speaker 1>think Fallon does. Bucky Freaking Den, Jets and Mets fans
<v Speaker 1>will one day have a great year, just like in
<v Speaker 1>nineteen sixty nine. You gotta believe the Mets and Jets
<v Speaker 1>and all the rest. So what's gonna happen? First, the
<v Speaker 1>Mets and Jets are gonna win a championship in the
<v Speaker 1>same year, or La Knight is going to win any
<v Speaker 1>world championship. I think there actually might be a chance
<v Speaker 1>that the Jets and the Mets could win a championship
<v Speaker 1>in the same year before La Knight does. Jeremy says,
<v Speaker 1>how's wwe gonna spin? The half filled Madison Square Garden tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>By calling it sold out, they can just lie and
<v Speaker 1>call it whatever they want. Look, I mean it's weird,
<v Speaker 1>like at the ticket prices that they charge. They have
<v Speaker 1>between nine and ten thousand tickets sold from Madison Square
<v Speaker 1>Guard so they're gonna make money on the show. But again,
<v Speaker 1>like they've been to the garden and have sold it
<v Speaker 1>out in recent years at fourteen eighteen thousand, and it's
<v Speaker 1>a far cry from that. Yeah, everything is relative. It's
<v Speaker 1>like I think I think it was Meltzer who mentioned
<v Speaker 1>this the other day because he's a numbers guy and
<v Speaker 1>he's always putting out, you know, the attendance averages and
<v Speaker 1>all this stuff, and it might have been in the
<v Speaker 1>Observer this week, and you know, he mentioned that when
<v Speaker 1>typically in the past, like years ago, WWE would be
<v Speaker 1>averaging somewhere in the range of six or seven thousand
<v Speaker 1>per year, would be like the average attendance, and the
<v Speaker 1>average attendance this year is somewhere in like the ten
<v Speaker 1>thousand range. So they're way above where they traditionally have
<v Speaker 1>been in terms of attendance, and they charge a lot more.
<v Speaker 1>But in the last few years they were averaging thirteen,
<v Speaker 1>fourteen thousand. So now they're down to ten, which is
<v Speaker 1>still a great number, but it's down from where they were.
<v Speaker 1>So when we say that they're past the peak, like
<v Speaker 1>you reach the peak of the mountain, you reach the summit,
<v Speaker 1>you begin the descent, right like Darby and Mount Everest,
<v Speaker 1>And so we're off the peak here for WWE. But
<v Speaker 1>the numbers are still are still very good. They're just
<v Speaker 1>not as good as they used to be. And so
<v Speaker 1>the question is why why are the numbers not as
<v Speaker 1>good as they used to be. And there's a lot
<v Speaker 1>of reasons for that. And you and I see it
<v Speaker 1>every week when we watch these television shows. They're just
<v Speaker 1>not that good. They're just not that good. They're not
<v Speaker 1>that interesting, and they've dropped the ball on certain people
<v Speaker 1>who I think they should have been pushing harder or sooner.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they've got it right for the most part
<v Speaker 1>so far with Obafemi, but there's a lot of other
<v Speaker 1>names on the roster who should be in a better
<v Speaker 1>position than they're in right now. And there's a lot
<v Speaker 1>of times where you watch the show and it just
<v Speaker 1>feels like same old, same old. People get tired of it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you feed them the same stuff over and over again.
<v Speaker 1>Eventually they just get tired of tasting the same thing.
<v Speaker 1>They want to try something different. Venom Cantetsu says, The
<v Speaker 1>Dark Knight is eighteen years old. My back hurts, man,
<v Speaker 1>you know what that means. I believe that also this year,
<v Speaker 1>Cloverfield is eighteen years old. I know for a fact
<v Speaker 1>that it's eighteen years old because I remember the movie
<v Speaker 1>poster and it was one eighteen eighteen, No. One, eighteen
<v Speaker 1>eighteen one, eighteen oh eight, I believe was the release day.
<v Speaker 1>It was two thousand and eight. Man, that's crazy. That
<v Speaker 1>whole viral marketing campaign was crazy. But yeah, the Dark Knight.
<v Speaker 1>I saw The Dark Knight more than once. But the
<v Speaker 1>first time I saw The Dark Knight in theaters was
<v Speaker 1>with a couple of buddies and there was a place out.
<v Speaker 1>It was on the Long Island Cradle of Aviation. Cradle
<v Speaker 1>of Aviation is an aviation museum. It's actually right behind
<v Speaker 1>where the Nasau Coliseum is, and at the time they
<v Speaker 1>had their own Imax screen. I don't know if they do.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think they do anymore, but at the time
<v Speaker 1>they had an Imax screen in there and they were
<v Speaker 1>showing The Dark Knight, and so we were gonna go
<v Speaker 1>there to see it, and I'll never forget it. I've
<v Speaker 1>not had a movie experience like this since we went
<v Speaker 1>in there. This it wasn't just in front of you.
<v Speaker 1>Talk about like an immersive experience. It wasn't just the
<v Speaker 1>screen in front of you. It was almost like it
<v Speaker 1>was above us, like spheric almose where it came like
<v Speaker 1>it came up, not like directly above us where I'm
<v Speaker 1>like literally looking up, but it was. It was the
<v Speaker 1>weirdest thing, but it felt like you were there. And
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if like the real genuine Imax these days,
<v Speaker 1>or that's what it is. Maybe that's what it is.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe that was like a genuine IMAX screen, and I
<v Speaker 1>haven't been to one since. I've been to the shitty
<v Speaker 1>Limax screens like I was when I saw The Odyssey yesterday.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it looked good, but it's not real Imax.
<v Speaker 1>It was incredible, especially the opening scene of The Dark
<v Speaker 1>Knight where they have the zip line. I mean, dude,
<v Speaker 1>you're it just it feels like you're in the movie.
<v Speaker 1>And so to see The Dark Knight that way was
<v Speaker 1>just fucking unbelievable. And it's Nolan's so like a lot
<v Speaker 1>of this shit is filmed for IMAX. I'll never forget
<v Speaker 1>that that was I wish I could see more movies
<v Speaker 1>like that. I think there's only one thing or in
<v Speaker 1>New York City that even has real imax. I think
<v Speaker 1>it's the AMC and Lincoln Square. EJ says two underrated
<v Speaker 1>horror movies, ghost Watch and Lake Mungo. I think you'd
<v Speaker 1>love Lake Mungo, especially if you love obsession. It's Australian
<v Speaker 1>and disturbing. There are a lot of things about Australia
<v Speaker 1>that are disturbing. And I don't mean that in the
<v Speaker 1>mean way. I just like oftentimes will come across like
<v Speaker 1>videos on like ig and stuff of these creatures and
<v Speaker 1>spiders and stuff, like all of these things, and like
<v Speaker 1>all I need to do is look at it, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, I bet you it's Australia, and like nine
<v Speaker 1>times out of ten that's exactly what it. So Like,
<v Speaker 1>as much as I would love to visit one day,
<v Speaker 1>I'm like terrified. The Kowala bears I could deal with.
<v Speaker 1>They look cute. The bugs not so much. The bugs
<v Speaker 1>are just that's that's a red line for me. I
<v Speaker 1>may have to check that out. I thought you were
<v Speaker 1>going to tell me Lake Mungo is like the Lake Placid.
<v Speaker 1>It's another movie I enjoyed. Yeah, the closest seventy milimeter
<v Speaker 1>Imax theater to us in New York City is Lincoln Square,
<v Speaker 1>That's what I said, AMC Lincoln Square. I think that's
<v Speaker 1>literally the only one they said for this movie. That
<v Speaker 1>The Odyssey, which was shot entirely in Imax seventy milimeter.
<v Speaker 1>There are literally twenty five theaters in the entire country
<v Speaker 1>that show it in true seventy milimeter, the whole country,
<v Speaker 1>twenty five theaters, only one in all of New York City.
<v Speaker 1>And I would imagine that even if I would have
<v Speaker 1>wanted to travel into Manhattan to go see this thing,
<v Speaker 1>which I would not have wanted to, but if I did,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure it's probably all booked up. It's probably we
<v Speaker 1>all sold out. So I was like, yeah, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>we'll see, We'll see it in a Limax. It was fine.
<v Speaker 1>I mean as far as again, I'm sure it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>exactly as it was intended to be watched, but I
<v Speaker 1>didn't see anybody complaining I'd have to drive to Indianapolis
<v Speaker 1>to get to a seventy milimeter IMAX bomb Blast says,
<v Speaker 1>I spent a semester there. I had a good time
<v Speaker 1>in Australia. That's good. I don't know about the Vegamite.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if I would enjoy that. I feel
<v Speaker 1>like that might be a no no. Anyway, we are
<v Speaker 1>at five hundred and twenty four likes. I believe the
<v Speaker 1>wheel with the wheel save four fifty. Yeah, the wheel
<v Speaker 1>said four fifty. All right, well, we got the one
<v Speaker 1>round coming up that we unlocked, so let's get to it.
<v Speaker 1>It's time to be the booker. Ladies and gentlemen, it
<v Speaker 1>is now time to be the booker. Yes, it is.
<v Speaker 1>That is true. Noah the mark. It is time to
<v Speaker 1>be the booker. DJ says, there's one ten minutes from
<v Speaker 1>me in Illinois. Well then, what are you waiting for?
<v Speaker 1>You should go see it. It's quite the spectacle, all right.
<v Speaker 1>We got a tag team match on tap. We have
<v Speaker 1>Matt Hardy and we have MVP, the former SmackDown Tag
<v Speaker 1>Team champions kicking things off here. Had a good storyline
<v Speaker 1>going with them there for a while on SmackDown. As
<v Speaker 1>I recall, uh oh, Randy Orton forces Adam Pierce to
<v Speaker 1>add a stipulation tier. Is that the WWE Championship that
<v Speaker 1>I see over Randy orton shoulder? How long has Adam
<v Speaker 1>Piers been in this in this job? Oh my goodness.
<v Speaker 1>So we have to add a stipulation for the match.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Matt Hardy and MVP are going to be
<v Speaker 1>in a stipulation. We have a stipulation tag team match
<v Speaker 1>tomorrow at Saturday Night's Made event. This one is going
<v Speaker 1>to be a tag team hair match. I guess the
<v Speaker 1>losing team gets shaved bald. I guess that's how it works.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Oh my goodness, Hat of Discipline is coming
<v Speaker 1>in with a pair of ten dollars superchats. Hat of Discipline. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we're going to need that hat because we're going to
<v Speaker 1>have a bald tag team here in a second. So
<v Speaker 1>he dropped two ten dollars superchess. That's two hats. That's
<v Speaker 1>perfect one for each bald head. Matt Hardy an MVP
<v Speaker 1>against the Rock and mankind, the rock and Sock connection.
<v Speaker 1>Are they going bald? Now? They're not going bald, Matt
<v Speaker 1>Hardy and MVP, you're going bald? All right, Women's be
<v Speaker 1>the Booker, we have Bailey enjoy that site, because I
<v Speaker 1>don't think that's the site we're going to see again.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not sure she's going to be in the company
<v Speaker 1>come the end of this year. Former women's champion Bailey
<v Speaker 1>will be wrestling tomorrow night in Madison Square Garden against
<v Speaker 1>Lyra Valkyria. Perhaps they could have a warm up match here, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>Bailey against Naomi. You know, I would have expected Naomi
<v Speaker 1>to be back by now. I hope we hope we
<v Speaker 1>get her back soon. She was just starting to hit
<v Speaker 1>her stride too as a heel and then she had
<v Speaker 1>to go away. That would be a great pickup in
<v Speaker 1>the women's division if they can get her back soon
<v Speaker 1>as a heel. Just pick up right where she left off,
<v Speaker 1>same gimmick. What was her catchphrase again, you've been forewarned?
<v Speaker 1>God was what was that? I forgot what it was?
<v Speaker 1>I forgot her slogan, her big catchphrase, beware of dog.
<v Speaker 1>I can't remember what it was. I can't remember now. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>we hit the bonus goal. Look at that. Look at
<v Speaker 1>that hat of discipline and Brandon Proctor got us over
<v Speaker 1>the finish line. Look at that. Fifteen out of fifteen
<v Speaker 1>bonus b to be is coming up. Proceed with caution?
<v Speaker 1>There ya guy, It was on the tip of my tongue.
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't remember. I thought, why did I say beware,
<v Speaker 1>Beware of dog? It's beware of dog dawg. And then
<v Speaker 1>her and Jimmy could be an on screen pairing. That's right,
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy did not proceed with caution. That's why Naomi just
<v Speaker 1>lost a year of her career. All right, men's be
<v Speaker 1>the booker. We have the former WWE champion Drew McIntyre.
<v Speaker 1>They basically just gave Gunther his story with Nick All
<v Speaker 1>this Drew McIntyre, Oh my god, against Hero Tanahashi. Wow,
<v Speaker 1>that's a great main event. That's a great match. Drew
<v Speaker 1>McIntyre against the Ace when he still had knees. Yiroshi
<v Speaker 1>tana Hashi. Who would have won that one? I'm going
<v Speaker 1>with the Ace. I'm going with the Ace. And now
<v Speaker 1>we have the bonus round. Clean sweep one good clean
<v Speaker 1>sweep deserves another. That's a hell of a car and
<v Speaker 1>I just put together for you there that may be
<v Speaker 1>the only one I put together for you. Tonight we
<v Speaker 1>have a Firefly Funhouse tag team match. Well, this is
<v Speaker 1>going to be a trip Firefly funhouse tag team attraction
<v Speaker 1>with well, look who it is, the mft's reborn. It
<v Speaker 1>is the Gorillas of Destiny Geo d Tama Tonga and
<v Speaker 1>the Great, the One and Only Tonga lois the number one.
<v Speaker 1>Almost Sapient knows this is his favorite tag team right here,
<v Speaker 1>Bullet Club. But it's a Firefly funhouse match. I wonder
<v Speaker 1>if they'll go through all of Togalowa's past gimmicks in
<v Speaker 1>this match. They're gonna be taken on Rob Van Dam
<v Speaker 1>and sab Boo. Sab Boo I thought he was holding
<v Speaker 1>the intercontinental title there for a second. We're still on
<v Speaker 1>a roll. We're still on a roll. We have a
<v Speaker 1>women's match, a women's dog collar Why do we keep
<v Speaker 1>doing this? We keep having these women's dog collar matches.
<v Speaker 1>I think be the booker has a certain kink. I'm
<v Speaker 1>starting to think it keeps putting the dog collars on
<v Speaker 1>the ladies here. What is wrong with you? What is
<v Speaker 1>going on here? We just had one of these the
<v Speaker 1>other day. Uh, choose four women and book a tag
<v Speaker 1>team dog collar match. A tag team women's dog collar match.
<v Speaker 1>This is getting very weird. It's getting very awkward here.
<v Speaker 1>All right, we have Harley Cameron and her tag team partner. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>Tessa Blanchard. Tessa Blanchard and Harley camera. This is the
<v Speaker 1>only way you'll ever see Tessa Blanchard in an aw ring.
<v Speaker 1>Right here and be the booker. Tessa and Harley in
<v Speaker 1>a tag team dog collar match against Sky Blue and
<v Speaker 1>her tag team partner. Who is Tessa going to be
<v Speaker 1>attached to? Is the question? The lovely Mariah May? How
<v Speaker 1>could I buzz the glamour? This is back in her
<v Speaker 1>days when she actually used to wrestle. Believe it or not,
<v Speaker 1>she was actually not a bad wrestler in her day.
<v Speaker 1>I know you would never know it these days, but
<v Speaker 1>she did used to wrestle actual wrestling matches. Tessa in
<v Speaker 1>a dog collar match sounds wild. And now we have
<v Speaker 1>come to our main event and it will be entering
<v Speaker 1>the lions Den. We are entering the lions Den for
<v Speaker 1>our main event attraction here in this installment of be
<v Speaker 1>the Booker, As we try to end here on a
<v Speaker 1>high note, who is entering the cage? Two men will enter,
<v Speaker 1>one man will leave. He has been double booked, even
<v Speaker 1>in death. The homicidal, genocidal, suicidal Saboo is going to
<v Speaker 1>enter the lions den. He's a busy guy. That means
<v Speaker 1>he gets a double payday. Saboo against Bautista, we did
<v Speaker 1>the double sweep Batista and Saboo. Who leaves the Lions
<v Speaker 1>then I think big I'm gonna go with Big Dave
<v Speaker 1>in this one. Saboo is gonna do something stupid and
<v Speaker 1>injure himself. That's my prediction. Hat of discipline Again, thank
<v Speaker 1>you for the double ten spot, Brandon Proctor, thank you
<v Speaker 1>for getting us over the finish line. And last but
<v Speaker 1>not least, justin Turley, ever thought about doing more RSPW. Absolutely,
<v Speaker 1>there will be more the next installment, and if you
<v Speaker 1>are a channel member, we had some people who were
<v Speaker 1>gifted memberships tonight. You will get early access. You'll get
<v Speaker 1>first access to the next installments of Be the Booker
<v Speaker 1>just as soon as I am able to get it done.
<v Speaker 1>People seem to really enjoy the last one. I made
<v Speaker 1>a whole new layout for it and everything, so yes,
<v Speaker 1>there will be more. There are still posts that I
<v Speaker 1>have accumulated. I haven't gone through all of them yet,
<v Speaker 1>so stay tuned. And if you are not a channel member,
<v Speaker 1>it'd be a good time to become one or again,
<v Speaker 1>you could always give the membership to a random fellow
<v Speaker 1>SoundOff fan here on the channel. It's all I got
<v Speaker 1>for you. Thank you guys for hanging out with me here.
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad to be back in the saddle after we
<v Speaker 1>miss Wednesday, I will have my full dynamite thoughts as
<v Speaker 1>part of the SoundOff on Sunday, plus all the fallout
<v Speaker 1>from Saturday Nights made event, which I will be live
<v Speaker 1>tomorrow night on YouTube talking about. So hopefully you guys
<v Speaker 1>will join me. Then less than twenty four hours from now,
<v Speaker 1>we'll talk about this not so hot card from Madison
<v Speaker 1>Square Garden and then back on Sunday for episode nine
<v Speaker 1>seventy two of the longest running episodic wrestling podcast, not true,
<v Speaker 1>one of the longest running. That is true, not the longest,
<v Speaker 1>but one of the longest. Death Sife wanted to get
<v Speaker 1>the last word in, I'm sorry Justin he beat you. See,
<v Speaker 1>I thought Justin had the honors here death side with
<v Speaker 1>the twenty six. If Sammy was the referee, Punk and
<v Speaker 1>Cody both have a reason to be weary. Sammy could
<v Speaker 1>screw over Punk because Punk won the belt from him,
<v Speaker 1>but Sammy could screw over Cody because he wants to
<v Speaker 1>be the one to win the championship back from Punk.
<v Speaker 1>That's the whole point. It wouldn't really be a situation
<v Speaker 1>where he would favor one over the other. They would
<v Speaker 1>both kind of be screwed. That's why I said, like,
<v Speaker 1>if they wanted to really cheap out and not have
<v Speaker 1>a clean, decisive winner, you just put Sammy and there
<v Speaker 1>was a referee, he could try to screw both of
<v Speaker 1>them over. I don't know how I feel about that.
<v Speaker 1>That would be a very shitty way to end your
<v Speaker 1>Summer sligh main event if we had no clear cut winner,
<v Speaker 1>But I can't think of a better role for him
<v Speaker 1>on that show. So honestly, if he's not going to
<v Speaker 1>be wrestling for the championship, you can make him the referee.
<v Speaker 1>It's not the worst idea they could come up with. Anyways.
<v Speaker 1>Be well, stay safe, have yourself a great rest of
<v Speaker 1>your night, a great weekend, and I will see you
<v Speaker 1>back here for the Saturday Night's main event review tomorrow
<v Speaker 1>night live on YouTube. Until then, take care, guys,
