<v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure that I just got done watching the
<v Speaker 1>worst raw of the entire year, a raw that felt
<v Speaker 1>like it would never end. I want you to know
<v Speaker 1>that I went to the movies last week and I
<v Speaker 1>watched The Odyssey. The Odyssey is almost three hours long,
<v Speaker 1>and somehow that felt shorter than this show did. This
<v Speaker 1>show watching it actually felt longer. And the show went
<v Speaker 1>off the air fifteen minutes early tonight. That's the kind
<v Speaker 1>of Monday night raw that we got here to follow
<v Speaker 1>up Saturday night's main event. We had no Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>who needed time to recover after twenty five minutes of
<v Speaker 1>Aura farming in Madison Square Garden the other night, So
<v Speaker 1>he was not on the show tonight. Brockleisner was not
<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight. They're both gonna be on the
<v Speaker 1>show next week because next week is the go home
<v Speaker 1>raw before SummerSlam. So we're gonna have one last face
<v Speaker 1>to face between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, and then
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna have a way in between Brocklesner and Obafemi.
<v Speaker 1>That's going to be on the show next week. Now. No, No,
<v Speaker 1>tonight you see was raw? Is Dan Hausen. Let me
<v Speaker 1>tell you if you are not a fan of Dan Housen,
<v Speaker 1>this was not the raw for you. And if you
<v Speaker 1>are a fan of Dan Housen, you probably won't be
<v Speaker 1>for much longer if they continue to run him into
<v Speaker 1>the ground. There had to be a minimum minimum four
<v Speaker 1>maybe five minimum segments with Dan Housen on this show,
<v Speaker 1>multiple segments in the back, multiple segments in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Then they announced that it's Summer Slim. He's going to
<v Speaker 1>have a match. It's going to be Dan Housen one
<v Speaker 1>on one with Dominic mysterio that's now been added to
<v Speaker 1>the Summer Slam card because they're continuing this storyline about
<v Speaker 1>the one hundred thousand dollars that Dan Housen stole from
<v Speaker 1>the judgment day off air how many months ago now,
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know. I thought this was all wrapped
<v Speaker 1>up at Saturday Night's main event, but apparently not. So
<v Speaker 1>we had the four or five segments with him tonight,
<v Speaker 1>plus everything that happened on Saturday. We have the match
<v Speaker 1>with dom coming up at Summerslim, and and next Monday
<v Speaker 1>night we are gonna have Dan Housen singing because Dan
<v Speaker 1>Housen is going to be in concert with Joe Hendry or,
<v Speaker 1>as Michael Cole called him tonight, Joe Henry. It's all
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen all the time. Boy. They are just they
<v Speaker 1>are determined to run this thing into the ground and
<v Speaker 1>make it so that I don't even want to see
<v Speaker 1>him on TV anymore. I actually sometimes feel like I'm
<v Speaker 1>one of the people who doesn't mind getting doses of
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen on the show. They are this close to
<v Speaker 1>making it where I don't want to see him on
<v Speaker 1>my television screen anymore. They take something that's fun or
<v Speaker 1>special or works, and they just run it into the
<v Speaker 1>fucking ground. Ridiculous all over this show tonight. You have.
<v Speaker 1>The biggest sin of this episode was the biggest sin
<v Speaker 1>of this episode of Raw is that it was boring
<v Speaker 1>as shit and it made me less interested in Summer Slim.
<v Speaker 1>It should be the opposite, You should be getting me
<v Speaker 1>more excited for Summer Slim. They took a step back
<v Speaker 1>and did the exact opposite here with this show tonight.
<v Speaker 1>So that's not good. Also very interesting, no women's matches
<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight, and the one woman who just
<v Speaker 1>turned heel coming off a huge win at Madison Square
<v Speaker 1>Garden over Bailey was relegated to a segment during the
<v Speaker 1>commercial break tonight where she briefly interrupted soul Ruka and
<v Speaker 1>she vowed to get back the championship that once belonged
<v Speaker 1>to her. It's too bad none of that actually happened
<v Speaker 1>on the television show. Outside of that, we had Maxine Dupree.
<v Speaker 1>She was doing her thing with the Vision. She's the
<v Speaker 1>new leader of the Vision. Paul Hayman is not with
<v Speaker 1>the Vision anymore, clearly. And we also had liv Morgan
<v Speaker 1>in her new role of manager, because that's basically what
<v Speaker 1>she is at this point. Let's just call her what
<v Speaker 1>she is. Live Morgan is a manager on the show.
<v Speaker 1>She's a valet, she's Dom's better half. She walks around
<v Speaker 1>with a women's championship, but she hasn't defended it since April,
<v Speaker 1>So can you really call her a champion if she
<v Speaker 1>never defends her title? And that was the extent to
<v Speaker 1>which we had any female presence on the show tonight,
<v Speaker 1>because the women's division on Raw is pretty much in
<v Speaker 1>shambles right now. I was saying this about SmackDown only
<v Speaker 1>a few months ago, so it's very interesting how the
<v Speaker 1>script has flipped to where now the division on this
<v Speaker 1>show is in tatters and SmackDown. I can't say SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>is all that much better, but SmackDown at least is
<v Speaker 1>a little bit better than it was earlier in the year.
<v Speaker 1>And of course, of course, on a very phoned in
<v Speaker 1>episode of Raw, how did it end? It ended with
<v Speaker 1>the Bloodline minus Roman Reigns, who was not there, throwing
<v Speaker 1>up the ones in the air. Stop me if you've
<v Speaker 1>heard this before. If it feels like I'm describing a
<v Speaker 1>a rerun of the show, this is very good reason
<v Speaker 1>for that, because that's what Raw feels like on most weeks,
<v Speaker 1>very much so. And La Night lost in the main event,
<v Speaker 1>La Night lost to the Bloodline. I forgot to mention
<v Speaker 1>that little part there. It really does feel like Raw
<v Speaker 1>is just in rerun mode on most weeks. It's just
<v Speaker 1>awful and so the Cherry on the Shit Sunday, in
<v Speaker 1>case you couldn't tell from the title of this stream.
<v Speaker 1>On top of all of that, we have TMZ now
<v Speaker 1>reporting that Tom Brady super BOWLD Champion Tom Brady is
<v Speaker 1>in talks. He's in negotiations. He's having deep conversations with
<v Speaker 1>WWE about what they didn't specify. Although he's been going
<v Speaker 1>back and forth now for a while with Logan Paul.
<v Speaker 1>They had their little slapfest that fanatics best. The other day.
<v Speaker 1>They were both at the Word World Cup game on
<v Speaker 1>Sunday flip at each other off. It feels like they're
<v Speaker 1>building to a match something between him and Logan Paul,
<v Speaker 1>which nobody with a brain is asking for. But that's
<v Speaker 1>kind of what it feels like right now. There is
<v Speaker 1>really no scenario in which Tom Brady is brought in
<v Speaker 1>to do anything with ww Weed that I would consider good.
<v Speaker 1>All of this is just bad, not shocking though, when
<v Speaker 1>you consider that Tom Brady is repped by WME Group,
<v Speaker 1>and WME Group is of course owned and operated by
<v Speaker 1>Endeavor I E. Ari Immanuel, so of course we get
<v Speaker 1>that synergy going again. It's the Pat McAfee thing all
<v Speaker 1>over again. This is your Monday Night Raw review. It
<v Speaker 1>is July twentieth, twenty twenty six. I am the Solemn Monster.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for being with me here on a Monday night.
<v Speaker 1>We got a how many Tom terrific fans or do
<v Speaker 1>we have here in the chat? Are you excited? Are
<v Speaker 1>you excited to see Tom Brady gracier screens? I mean
<v Speaker 1>you already have him doing the announcing on Fox NFL Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>Are you interested in seeing Tom Brady in a WWE ring,
<v Speaker 1>whether it's as a wrestler. He may not even wrestle.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, the guy's forty eight years old, He's never
<v Speaker 1>wrestled before, as a referee or in someone's corner. Are
<v Speaker 1>you excited to see Tom Brady grace your TV screens?
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they could do stuff with Tom Brady and Dan.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe Dan Housen can put a curse on Tom Brady
<v Speaker 1>and make him go away. Maybe we could use Dan
<v Speaker 1>Housen for good instead of for evil, like and subscribe.
<v Speaker 1>Superchats are open, get the money. Let me know how
<v Speaker 1>excited you are at the prospect of Tom Brady being
<v Speaker 1>on WWE television. Yes, send him to NXT. I like
<v Speaker 1>that idea. That's a good idea. Actually, you know, Nick All,
<v Speaker 1>this is going to be wrestling Gunther at Summerslim, and
<v Speaker 1>I would presume that coming out of Summer Slim, he'll
<v Speaker 1>be back to his you know, general manager position on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>If they needed a new GM on SmackDown, we may
<v Speaker 1>end up with Tom Brady as the general manager of
<v Speaker 1>the of the Friday night show. Wouldn't that be something.
<v Speaker 1>We will try to entertain ourselves here on these street.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I say it every week, and I hear
<v Speaker 1>it from you guys too, where some of you don't
<v Speaker 1>even watch RAW, some of you have literally dropped off
<v Speaker 1>watching any of the television shows and you just tune
<v Speaker 1>into streams and podcasts like this one or maybe just
<v Speaker 1>this one. And if you do, I appreciate that because
<v Speaker 1>the shows are just so fucking boring. You know, you'll
<v Speaker 1>get a good one here and there, but then you
<v Speaker 1>get a show like this and it just I kind
<v Speaker 1>of sit back in awe. Like when I was putting
<v Speaker 1>the preview together for this show, I like to at
<v Speaker 1>least list that what the matches are that have already
<v Speaker 1>been announced. Maybe not all of them have been announced,
<v Speaker 1>but they give us three or four. And I went
<v Speaker 1>to go through the preview for this show tonight, and
<v Speaker 1>I was stunned at the fact that there was nothing.
<v Speaker 1>There was nothing. They announced that Seth Rollins was going
<v Speaker 1>to open the show, which he didn't. They announced that
<v Speaker 1>this person will be here, this person will be here,
<v Speaker 1>this person will be here. That was it. That was
<v Speaker 1>the preview. I'm like, what the fuck am I supposed
<v Speaker 1>to do with that. What kind of preview is this.
<v Speaker 1>You're supposed to get people excited to watch this television show.
<v Speaker 1>Where is the excitement? The excitement is gone, the excitement
<v Speaker 1>is not there, So we will try to entertain ourselves.
<v Speaker 1>Go ahead and hit that like button. I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>break up the wheel right now. Me spinning this wheel
<v Speaker 1>will be more exciting than all two hours plus of
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw tonight. And I'm not even exaggerating when
<v Speaker 1>I say that. See aren't you having fun? I know
<v Speaker 1>I am five fifty. Well, we may not be having
<v Speaker 1>fun at the end if we don't hit five point
<v Speaker 1>fifty to be the booker. We're two hundred and thirty
<v Speaker 1>something like, So five hundred and fifty likes is the goal.
<v Speaker 1>Though just out of the corner of my eye, we
<v Speaker 1>are very close to the bonus goal already, and we're
<v Speaker 1>just starting seven out of ten, so we may be
<v Speaker 1>getting beat the Booker one way or the other. But
<v Speaker 1>go ahead and hit that like button. You guys know
<v Speaker 1>what to do. Thank you again for those of you
<v Speaker 1>also who hung out with me on Saturday night after
<v Speaker 1>Saturday Night's main event and tuned into the latest episode
<v Speaker 1>of the solo Monster sounds off on Sunday, episode nine
<v Speaker 1>seventy two with my Dark Side of the Ring review
<v Speaker 1>of the finale of the Trilogy of Jeff Jarrett and
<v Speaker 1>TNA Wrestling. It was more fun actually going through all
<v Speaker 1>of the just the awful LOL TNA moments from the
<v Speaker 1>Hogan Bischoff era than it was watching this episode of
<v Speaker 1>Monday Nightral. It was very entertaining. Not not in the
<v Speaker 1>best way, but it was very entertaining. And you know
<v Speaker 1>what sucks. The show opened tonight with promise because we
<v Speaker 1>got something very unusual from Monday Night braw. We open
<v Speaker 1>with a wrestling match. I was stunned. We went right
<v Speaker 1>into the action. We had the World Tag Team Champions.
<v Speaker 1>It was Austin Theory and bron Breaker non title taking
<v Speaker 1>on the random team of Javon Evans and Dragon Lee,
<v Speaker 1>brought together by a mutual respect coming out of what
<v Speaker 1>I thought was a hell of a sprint in the
<v Speaker 1>Gauntlet match last week that the two of them had.
<v Speaker 1>So they were tag team partners this week? Why not?
<v Speaker 1>Why not? They don't have a tag team division, so
<v Speaker 1>you may as well. I can. Actually, actually that's not
<v Speaker 1>a bad team. Javon and Dragon Lee actually make a
<v Speaker 1>pretty good team. Maybe that could become a thing. So
<v Speaker 1>Evans he jumped Breaker before the bell even Rang took
<v Speaker 1>him out with a dive to the floor. Bron, though,
<v Speaker 1>got a measure of revenge a little while later. He
<v Speaker 1>blind tagged into the match took a Javan down with
<v Speaker 1>a suplex Logan. Paul was outside the ring. He was
<v Speaker 1>running distraction and after that, Dragonly got caught coming off
<v Speaker 1>the top by Breaker, who planted him with a power slam,
<v Speaker 1>and that took us into an ad break. Later on,
<v Speaker 1>Evans he dumped Breaker over the timekeeper's barricade, and then
<v Speaker 1>Javon decided to do a circle around the entire ring
<v Speaker 1>and he built up ahead of Steam and he did
<v Speaker 1>a big dive over the timekeeper's barricade onto Break, almost
<v Speaker 1>killed himself in doing so. Back inside, Maxine Dupree reaches in.
<v Speaker 1>She trips up Dragonly. That allowed Breaker to drop him
<v Speaker 1>with a clothesline. Evans then got killed with a spear,
<v Speaker 1>then the super spear, the turbo spear by Bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>followed onto uh dragon Lee cut him in half and
<v Speaker 1>that was the end of Javon, Evans and Dragon Lee. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>ex Mega Man, you missed you missed the hell of
<v Speaker 1>an open. This was my favorite episode of Raw all
<v Speaker 1>year x MEGA. Everybody in the chat will tell you
<v Speaker 1>all the wonderful things I just had to say about
<v Speaker 1>this wonderful TV show. So after the match, Alpha Academy
<v Speaker 1>comes out, Here comes Otis, Here comes Tozawa, and they
<v Speaker 1>make the save because the Vision was continuing their beat
<v Speaker 1>down on Dragon Lee. Otis was dropping everybody. He was
<v Speaker 1>knocking everybody down, and then Maxine got in the ring
<v Speaker 1>and she slapped Otis. Otis though and Tozawa. They ended
<v Speaker 1>up outside there clearing off the announced desk and Otis
<v Speaker 1>is going to deliver a power bomb to Theory through
<v Speaker 1>the desk. Breaker the rounds the bend and he spears
<v Speaker 1>Otis down to the floor before he could do anything.
<v Speaker 1>Back inside, Theory took out Tozawa with I I'm assuming
<v Speaker 1>might be his new finishing move. It's basically a discus
<v Speaker 1>forearm that got no reaction, and Breaker then cut down
<v Speaker 1>Otis with the super spear and Maxine looked on with
<v Speaker 1>a smile on her face. Paul Haymond was not on
<v Speaker 1>the show to He was probably backstage, but he was
<v Speaker 1>not on the show. Tonight outside of a pre taped
<v Speaker 1>video package for the Brock and Oba match, So that
<v Speaker 1>could be why there was no interaction with him in
<v Speaker 1>this group here. But based on what we saw last
<v Speaker 1>week where he basically blew them off and said, what
<v Speaker 1>do you need me for? You got her? She may
<v Speaker 1>well be the new leading face of the vision here.
<v Speaker 1>The vision is now. Here's the thing. The vision is
<v Speaker 1>now built around Austin Theory and Maxine Dupree, bron breaker.
<v Speaker 1>He feels like he's his partner, but he almost feels
<v Speaker 1>like a bodyguard. Now for Theory, he's playing second face,
<v Speaker 1>playing third fiddle. What am I talking about? Third fiddle?
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even know there were three fiddles. Third fiddle
<v Speaker 1>to Austin Theory and Maxine Dupray. What are we doing here?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. There's your obligatory vision segment for the week.
<v Speaker 1>We go backstage after this. We go from the vision
<v Speaker 1>to the judgment day, from the judgment day to the
<v Speaker 1>blood line, from the blood line to the vision, and
<v Speaker 1>the vision to the blood line, from the vision to
<v Speaker 1>the bloodline, and the judgment day pops up in between.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like I'm just being bounced back and forth
<v Speaker 1>between the same factions over and over again, all of
<v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure, all of which all three of them,
<v Speaker 1>have overstayed their welcome. There is not a single group
<v Speaker 1>on this show that should still be together, not one.
<v Speaker 1>And then what do we have on SmackDown? I don't
<v Speaker 1>even I don't even remember offhand do we have any
<v Speaker 1>factions on SmackDown? Who do we have on SmackDown? Why
<v Speaker 1>do we still have the Judgment Day and the bloodline
<v Speaker 1>running Monday night? Row? Can somebody explain this to me?
<v Speaker 1>Why is this still a thing? Yeah, somebody had an
<v Speaker 1>idea on the stream the other night, and I don't
<v Speaker 1>think it's going to happen, but it really intrigued me.
<v Speaker 1>Where Sammy Zay, you know, justice for Sammy. You know
<v Speaker 1>Sammy's been screwed multiple times now, and Drew McIntyre has
<v Speaker 1>been missing for a while, Kevin Owens has been out
<v Speaker 1>for a long time. What if the three of them
<v Speaker 1>came together as like a faction of guys who all
<v Speaker 1>share a common interest or have been screwed over in
<v Speaker 1>various ways. And I thought about it, and I said, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's not gonna happen, but that would be intriguing. That
<v Speaker 1>would be an intriguing group, sammy's Ay and Kevin Owens
<v Speaker 1>and Drew McIntyre coming together. At least that would be
<v Speaker 1>something different, and they're brought together by a common cause.
<v Speaker 1>Instead we get the same groups over and over again.
<v Speaker 1>Fatal Influence. That's the big group on Smack Dan. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>then oh the Batties, That's right, the Batties amazing backstage
<v Speaker 1>the judgment day had Dan Housen up against the wall
<v Speaker 1>like a bully in high school, holding the kid up
<v Speaker 1>against the wall for his lunch money. And they want
<v Speaker 1>their money, but they want their one hundred thousand dollars.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm listening to this and I'm like, are you
<v Speaker 1>fucking kidding me? Did I not just watch the blowoff
<v Speaker 1>to this On Saturday? You had Dan Housen against JD
<v Speaker 1>McDonough again, over all this money and they have their
<v Speaker 1>magic Madison Square garden. We had the New York Nicks,
<v Speaker 1>right cats, Karl Anthony Towns comes in and helps Dan
<v Speaker 1>Housen win, and all the mini Housens are running around
<v Speaker 1>like a bunch of gremlins with the paint on their
<v Speaker 1>face and everything, and I'm like, okay, well the story is, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>this was the big payoff to the story. It was
<v Speaker 1>building to Madison Square Garden right, and then the first
<v Speaker 1>we're all coming out of Saturday. The judgment day has
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen up against the wall and they still want
<v Speaker 1>their money. They're worse than a loan shark. Every week,
<v Speaker 1>where's my money? Where's my money? He told them I
<v Speaker 1>got to go find it, and Dom said, I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to give you thirty seconds to go find it and
<v Speaker 1>bring it back. Dan Housen runs off. They immediately cut
<v Speaker 1>to a four minute commercial break. That's a lot more
<v Speaker 1>than thirty seconds. First, though, we got another vignette for
<v Speaker 1>the return of Big Casts or Colin Cassidy, as we
<v Speaker 1>saw on some of the clippings that they showed. We
<v Speaker 1>had our first vignette last week. There was no sign
<v Speaker 1>of Enzo Amore. It was strictly Big Casts, and I thought, okay, well,
<v Speaker 1>this week they'll probably have one for Enzo and Greg
<v Speaker 1>because both of them have been rumored to be coming back,
<v Speaker 1>and it's hard for me to imagine that they're going
<v Speaker 1>to bring them back after all these years but keep
<v Speaker 1>them completely separated from each other. I suppose they could,
<v Speaker 1>but it would be very surprising. So This was again
<v Speaker 1>just entirely about big casts, and in this one they
<v Speaker 1>were highlighting some of the personal issues that he's had,
<v Speaker 1>and you know that really led to the end of
<v Speaker 1>his last WWE run. He had torn his acl then
<v Speaker 1>later on he had substance abuse issues with alcohol that
<v Speaker 1>was well documented. And again at the end of the
<v Speaker 1>video they flashed that August third date, which is the
<v Speaker 1>raw coming out of SummerSlam, that is where he will
<v Speaker 1>be making his return. No Enzo here, it's the voice
<v Speaker 1>in the narration sounded like Enzo to me. I couldn't
<v Speaker 1>tell if it was him or not, or if it
<v Speaker 1>was cast himself. It sounded a little like Enzo. He
<v Speaker 1>may have been the one doing the narration. I still
<v Speaker 1>think of you know, he's coming in. But if this
<v Speaker 1>is you watch this segment and your takeaway from it
<v Speaker 1>is that he is coming back as a single. I
<v Speaker 1>think that's great news. If that's what's going on here,
<v Speaker 1>I think that's great. Ah Busika, says Vukaki on the
<v Speaker 1>Boukakee ghost. There he is, Yeah, go ahead, get it
<v Speaker 1>out of your system. The Bucocky ghost he's getting out
<v Speaker 1>of He's getting it out of his system. Early. You
<v Speaker 1>know this is not the television show that I would
<v Speaker 1>be getting orgasmic to if this was a great raw,
<v Speaker 1>I can understand the ghost coming out and you know,
<v Speaker 1>touching himself and doing all the things that he was
<v Speaker 1>just doing. This raw does not get anybody excited, though,
<v Speaker 1>so I'm a little surprised to see the ghost there. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>Venom Catetsu, thank you because Venom Catetsuit not only dropped
<v Speaker 1>the sixty nine on me, but he also hit the goal,
<v Speaker 1>the bonus goal rather ten out of ten. So I
<v Speaker 1>applaud you and everybody else forgetting us there, forgetting us
<v Speaker 1>there early. Yeah, yeah, that's that's a super chat all right.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I hadn't seen the ghost in months until
<v Speaker 1>it was a Saturday Saturday night, and now we've had
<v Speaker 1>the ghost that twice in forty eight hours. He's starting
<v Speaker 1>to pop out more, he says officially thirty eight Today,
<v Speaker 1>I won't be getting sixty nine, so I thought I
<v Speaker 1>would pass a sixty nine to you, thanks for another
<v Speaker 1>lap around the sun of making what's left of modern
<v Speaker 1>wrestling entertaining same time next year with everybody saying thirty eight. Yeah, well,
<v Speaker 1>cheers to Venom Catetsu and happy thirty eighth birthday. Brother.
<v Speaker 1>I hope it was a great one. And it's almost
<v Speaker 1>over now, but I hope it was a great one.
<v Speaker 1>And thank you for the support. Bring out Mantar. It's
<v Speaker 1>not up to me. He's in there, he's in his cave.
<v Speaker 1>It's not gonna be up to me if Mantar comes out.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Well, now that we've hit that goal, I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna make a new one because you guys smash that
<v Speaker 1>one a lot sooner than I thought you would. So
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna do that where we hit the bonus bonus,
<v Speaker 1>then we'll do a second round. There you go, there's
<v Speaker 1>the new goal. So yeah, I mean, if he's coming
<v Speaker 1>back as a single, I think that's great. You've heard
<v Speaker 1>me talk about my reasoning for it. I think that's,
<v Speaker 1>you know, just gonna be better for him in the
<v Speaker 1>long run, and Enzo could do something else, or Enzo
<v Speaker 1>could be with him, you know again in his corner.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's fine. But the tag team division it's
<v Speaker 1>a dead duck right now on this show. Yeah, that'll
<v Speaker 1>be good for a little bit and then it won't be.
<v Speaker 1>So we'll see. We'll see if we get an end
<v Speaker 1>Zo vignette or maybe they're going to save him as
<v Speaker 1>a surprise, but I can't imagine that if he's coming in,
<v Speaker 1>they're not going to be together. So we get a
<v Speaker 1>recap of all of the dan Housen stuff. You're gonna
<v Speaker 1>hear me mentioning his name a lot here in this review.
<v Speaker 1>So after all the Dan Housen JD McDonough stuff from
<v Speaker 1>Saturday Night's main event, it comes out to the ring
<v Speaker 1>and he's got a leather satchel or bag or whatever
<v Speaker 1>that apparently has lots of human monies in it, and
<v Speaker 1>he said, look, I don't want this money anymore, but
<v Speaker 1>I also don't want to give it to the Judgment Day.
<v Speaker 1>So he says, would you fans like the money? And
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure many of them were like, yeah, for the
<v Speaker 1>amount of money we paid for these tickets, it sure
<v Speaker 1>would be nice to recoup some of it. So of
<v Speaker 1>course they all went wild because they wanted the money.
<v Speaker 1>The Judgment Day comes out to put a stop to
<v Speaker 1>all this. Dan Housen tried to put a curse on them,
<v Speaker 1>but dominiking JD, they put the boots to him instead.
<v Speaker 1>Liv Morgan was just laughing at all of this out comes.
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendry, and I thought to myself, Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>he's getting an entrance, which it's not really an entrance.
<v Speaker 1>It was a run in, so it wasn't a proper entrance.
<v Speaker 1>It's the closest thing to a real entrance that he's
<v Speaker 1>had in a very long time, if ever, on this
<v Speaker 1>show since he came to Raw. So he dropped Don
<v Speaker 1>with a fallaway slam live grabbed the bag with the money,
<v Speaker 1>like Haynan at WrestleMania one after the fifteen thousand dollars
<v Speaker 1>body slam man. She snatched that bag and she ran
<v Speaker 1>off with it, and so that was the end of that.
<v Speaker 1>We'll get back to this judgment. Dave dan Housen crap
<v Speaker 1>here in a little bit, we had Rollins and Rains
<v Speaker 1>chapter three, because they're in the middle of airing these
<v Speaker 1>very quick little snippets, like little vignettes throughout the show
<v Speaker 1>documenting all of their history together in this company. This
<v Speaker 1>was the cash in from WrestleMania thirty one, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>looking at this and they had the close up of
<v Speaker 1>Roman's face and I just I'm reminded of the blue
<v Speaker 1>contact lenses that Vince McMahon had Roman wearing at that time.
<v Speaker 1>Because that's just how he felt. He wanted people to
<v Speaker 1>see his top star. Put the blue contact lenses in.
<v Speaker 1>If you have blue eyes, gonna it's gonna just make
<v Speaker 1>you a bigger baby face. Blue contact lends Roman Reins.
<v Speaker 1>He looks like, I don't know, he looks like, he
<v Speaker 1>looks very alien. Honestly, he doesn't look real. He looks ai.
<v Speaker 1>It's just a very weird period of time in the
<v Speaker 1>career of Roman Reigns. So now we go to the back.
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pierce is yelling at the judgment day. Dan Housen
<v Speaker 1>and Joe Hendry they walk up, Pierce holds them back.
<v Speaker 1>McDonough he has the satchel, and so he reaches into
<v Speaker 1>his sack and he pulls out money. But he realizes
<v Speaker 1>that it's not real legal tender. It's fake money. It's
<v Speaker 1>got Dan Housen's face. I mean some of it may
<v Speaker 1>have been real actually underneath, but like on top, it's
<v Speaker 1>got Dan Housen's face on it, so it's all fake.
<v Speaker 1>He tosses the bag aside and he's ranting in rays
<v Speaker 1>and everybody has this look on their face like they've
<v Speaker 1>seen a ghost. Perhaps they've seen the Bukocky ghost and
<v Speaker 1>they're trying to get McDonough's attention to turn around, and
<v Speaker 1>he turns around and it's Obafemi because when he threw
<v Speaker 1>the bag, he inadvertently struck Obafemi with it, like that's
<v Speaker 1>basically I mean, you have a death wish. At that point,
<v Speaker 1>Oba was ready to murder this man. And so they're
<v Speaker 1>all bickering, and Pierce booked JD McDonough against Obafemi right now,
<v Speaker 1>and then Dom was protesting all this is unfair, and
<v Speaker 1>Pierce said, well, you know what, We're gonna do a
<v Speaker 1>match later in the show. It'll be you against Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 1>So we had two matches imprompt two matches booked here
<v Speaker 1>on the spot. So we had JD McDonough against Obafemi,
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendry and Dan Housen. How many times is that?
<v Speaker 1>ANDAs that three times, we're not even done yet. They
<v Speaker 1>come out and they throw the judgment Day or mcdona
<v Speaker 1>anyway into the ring because they were very reluctant to
<v Speaker 1>get inside, and Obafemi made very short work of him
<v Speaker 1>a huge back body drop. We don't get enough of
<v Speaker 1>those in wrestling today. By the way, I'm sure they
<v Speaker 1>sucked to take but I do love me a good
<v Speaker 1>back body drop with some good elevation. There was a
<v Speaker 1>pay per view. I'm trying to remember. It had to
<v Speaker 1>be a Survivor series. I'm almost positive it was a
<v Speaker 1>Survivor series, maybe ninety one maybe where Sean Michaels was
<v Speaker 1>still in the Rockers and he got he took a
<v Speaker 1>back body drop. I want to say it was the Barbarian,
<v Speaker 1>maybe the Warlord, but I think it was the Barbarian.
<v Speaker 1>He got back body dropped. I don't know that I've
<v Speaker 1>ever seen a man sent into orbit the way that
<v Speaker 1>Shawn Michaels was sent into orbit, And like I watched
<v Speaker 1>in awe, I watched in amazement at this so I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if he quite reached Shawn Michael's height, but
<v Speaker 1>he got back body dropped into the heavens. Oba picked
<v Speaker 1>him up and bealed him across the ring and then
<v Speaker 1>finally he hit the fall from Grace and that was
<v Speaker 1>the end of JD McDonough in under a minute. Thanks
<v Speaker 1>for coming. When the match was over, Oba looked into
<v Speaker 1>the camera and he said, no more bs. The money
<v Speaker 1>is at Summer Slam, Hell and a Cell. I'll see
<v Speaker 1>you there, Brock. Oba continues to tear it up. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he comes out, He's got that presence about him. There's
<v Speaker 1>a reason why he's super over because there's nobody like
<v Speaker 1>him on the roster right now. He has that hit factory,
<v Speaker 1>has that presence about him when he comes out, and
<v Speaker 1>the promos that he's cut, even the one on Saturday
<v Speaker 1>on the pre show, Stephanie McMahon was in the ring
<v Speaker 1>or Steph and they had Oba come out and he
<v Speaker 1>cut a promo and it was very good. It was
<v Speaker 1>very good. So he continues to do his thing and
<v Speaker 1>he's super Over wherever they go, which is great to see.
<v Speaker 1>Michael Cole and Corey Graves, So they were plugging various things.
<v Speaker 1>They were plugging a whole bunch of different things, including
<v Speaker 1>how great Fanatics Fest was over the weekend when when
<v Speaker 1>Oscar screamed for Kyrie Arc Prince coming in with a
<v Speaker 1>fifteen dollars super jit Hey, Arc Prince, thank you, brother
<v Speaker 1>says what's up solo ra All, once again proving to
<v Speaker 1>me that the only good wrestling shows I've been to
<v Speaker 1>this year are Hog and Stardom. I even left Saturday
<v Speaker 1>Nights made event early because of the New York Knicks
<v Speaker 1>glazing man, a New Yorker who doesn't like the Knicks.
<v Speaker 1>It's rare. It's rare, but I feel you, brother, I
<v Speaker 1>feel you. You went to a wrestling show in a
<v Speaker 1>glazing session. I haven't seen that much glaze since the
<v Speaker 1>last time I was in Krispy Kreme. Ark Prince, thank
<v Speaker 1>you for the super chat. So the announcers are talking
<v Speaker 1>in Solo Socoa. Out of nowhere, he comes just randomly
<v Speaker 1>walking into camera frame on his way into the ring,
<v Speaker 1>still donning that bright red sport code. He's been wearing
<v Speaker 1>this now for weeks, I mean, at least on Ray Works.
<v Speaker 1>I'm starting to think he sleeps in this thing. He's
<v Speaker 1>not even supposed to be on this show, but he
<v Speaker 1>has a proposition to make, and he asked Seth Rollins
<v Speaker 1>to get out here now. And it's a good thing
<v Speaker 1>that Seth just so happened to be standing at the
<v Speaker 1>gorilla position, I guess because as soon as they hit
<v Speaker 1>his music, he came out, say his name and he appears.
<v Speaker 1>Rollins came down to the ring. He said, you don't
<v Speaker 1>go here, but he'll welcome him to Monday Night. Rollins.
<v Speaker 1>And since you're on my show, what can I do
<v Speaker 1>for you? He asked, are we talking or are we fighting?
<v Speaker 1>Solo says, I'm here to talk. I'm not here to fight,
<v Speaker 1>and he asks Rollins hear me out that he's focused
<v Speaker 1>on getting ready for Roman reigns at SummerSlam, but Seth
<v Speaker 1>has to understand it's not going to be one on one.
<v Speaker 1>It's Rollin's against the whole damn bloodline, four against one,
<v Speaker 1>and Solo knows what they're gonna do because he used
<v Speaker 1>to be part of it. They're gonna make sure that
<v Speaker 1>Seth doesn't stand a chance. But it doesn't have to
<v Speaker 1>be that way. Solo says that he called Rollins out
<v Speaker 1>here to offer to watch his back at SummerSlam. So
<v Speaker 1>Seth admits, you know, you make a lot of good points.
<v Speaker 1>You're right about Roman and the Bloodlined and maybe working
<v Speaker 1>together could mean something special. So you tell Solo, look,
<v Speaker 1>I want time to think about it. And he goes
<v Speaker 1>to walk away, and Solo grabs him and spins him
<v Speaker 1>around and says, there's nothing to think about. He's just
<v Speaker 1>asking to do for Seth the same thing that Seth
<v Speaker 1>did for Cody Rhodes a few years ago. I guess
<v Speaker 1>that was when he was Cody Shield at WrestleMania. So
<v Speaker 1>here comes Jacob Fattu, Solo eggs it stage left, right
<v Speaker 1>back through the timekeeper's area, Rollins is in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>Solo is gone, but Fatu is in the ring and
<v Speaker 1>he's looking out at Solo doesn't realize that Rowlin's is
<v Speaker 1>setting up behind him, and as soon as Jacob turns around,
<v Speaker 1>Fatu eats a super kick and then Rollins leaves. So
<v Speaker 1>not a whole lot to this segment. We did find
<v Speaker 1>out later on that per Roman reigns, and this is
<v Speaker 1>very exciting. Roman was not there tonight, but he made
<v Speaker 1>it very clear to the other members of the Bloodline.
<v Speaker 1>They are not to put their hands on seth Rawlins,
<v Speaker 1>so Jacob couldn't touch him, the usos couldn't touch him.
<v Speaker 1>That was the rule. He doesn't want any of them
<v Speaker 1>to lay a finger on Rollins until SummerSlam, right, Rollins
<v Speaker 1>belongs to him, so they made that very clear on
<v Speaker 1>the show tonight. We have Penta and Chad Gable who
<v Speaker 1>are going to be opponents at SummerSlam, but they were
<v Speaker 1>partners tonight. Can They co Exist? We go from one
<v Speaker 1>Can They co Exist match on Saturday to another one tonight.
<v Speaker 1>The answer is yes, they did in fact co exist.
<v Speaker 1>They took on Ethan Page and Russev. After a commercial
<v Speaker 1>Penta managed to lay out. Russe Ve makes the tag
<v Speaker 1>incomes Chad Gable. Am I doing it right? This is
<v Speaker 1>what we're doing for Gables, God bless him. Man. He's
<v Speaker 1>trying to get this whole clapping thing over and like
<v Speaker 1>some fans are doing it, but it's not really catching on.
<v Speaker 1>I think in the way that they would like for
<v Speaker 1>it to. I think what they're hoping for is that
<v Speaker 1>once they get to that stadium and they have fifty
<v Speaker 1>that I take that back and they have their thirty
<v Speaker 1>seven thousand, still a very healthy number. But however, many
<v Speaker 1>people are going to be there in Minneapolis. I think
<v Speaker 1>they want that visual of all the people in the
<v Speaker 1>stadium doing the clap, right. They want they want the clap,
<v Speaker 1>especially if he wins the championship, which he better. But
<v Speaker 1>he gets into the ring. Here some rolling German souper
<v Speaker 1>plexus to Ethan, belly to belly suit plex angle slam follows.
<v Speaker 1>He covers him but could not get the three. He
<v Speaker 1>went for a moon salt. Ethan moved out of the
<v Speaker 1>way and Russev tagged, then he planted Gable with a uranagi.
<v Speaker 1>He went for the cover. Pentado made the save, so
<v Speaker 1>Penta sent Ethan to the floor and then he took
<v Speaker 1>him out with a topey back inside. Gable went for
<v Speaker 1>a suit plex Roussevo countered out of it into an
<v Speaker 1>accolade in the center of the ring. Gable was able
<v Speaker 1>to power out of the accolade and Russev put him
<v Speaker 1>down with a headbutt. Penta he went to the top
<v Speaker 1>rope and Russev he sent Gable into the corner, which
<v Speaker 1>then caused Penta to lose his balance and he crotched
<v Speaker 1>himself on the top rope and he fell out of
<v Speaker 1>the ring to the floor. Russev tried for the accolade again.
<v Speaker 1>Pentado countered into an ankle lock. Ethan gets into the
<v Speaker 1>ring and before he can break that up, Penta used
<v Speaker 1>Gable as a springboard to hit a Mexican destroyer to
<v Speaker 1>Ethan page. As Gable cinches on the ankle lock, he
<v Speaker 1>gets the grapevine, so he's grape vinding the leg and
<v Speaker 1>as soon as he grapeviinds the leg, Russev immediately taps out.
<v Speaker 1>There was no hesitation here. He just immediately tapped out
<v Speaker 1>to give Penta and Gable the win. And when the
<v Speaker 1>match was over, Penta and Gable they shook hands and
<v Speaker 1>they were very friendly with each other. There was no tension,
<v Speaker 1>nothing like that, nothing out of the ordinary. There was
<v Speaker 1>some controversy though, this past weekend a fanatics fest involving Penta.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure some of you at least saw the story,
<v Speaker 1>or maybe you saw the video. There was an area
<v Speaker 1>where Penta was told, I guess that it was safe
<v Speaker 1>for him to walk around without his mask. He had
<v Speaker 1>like the makeup on, but he was maskless. Meanwhile, there
<v Speaker 1>was a streamer named Neon who some of you may
<v Speaker 1>be familiar with. He was there live streaming. He had
<v Speaker 1>his crew with him. They're filming. He's walking around and
<v Speaker 1>he claims that he was told that it was a
<v Speaker 1>safe area to go ahead and film. That's what he says.
<v Speaker 1>As he's walking around. The guy's filming and there's fucking
<v Speaker 1>Penta without his mask on, walking by, and Penta is
<v Speaker 1>talking to Neon. Can't see Penta, but he's talking to
<v Speaker 1>him saying, please, you know, please don't post that, please
<v Speaker 1>don't film. I'm a mass wrestler. I don't have my
<v Speaker 1>mask on, and he, you know, Neon's all apologetic and everything.
<v Speaker 1>But apparently now, I mean, there have been this talk
<v Speaker 1>that maybe Penta might sue him. I don't know how
<v Speaker 1>accurate any of that is, but it turned into like
<v Speaker 1>a whole big, a whole big thing. So I don't
<v Speaker 1>know Penta is suing this guy or they said Penta
<v Speaker 1>wants to Yeah, he wants to face him one on one.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I don't know what's going on there,
<v Speaker 1>but an unfortunate situation. But then again, you have Tomatonga
<v Speaker 1>who goes on his Instagram and posts. You know, I
<v Speaker 1>told you guys what had happened. Like he was on
<v Speaker 1>his ig and he posted a photo from Kter backstage
<v Speaker 1>and there just without his mask on is Ray Phoenix.
<v Speaker 1>That's why he got in trouble. And they find him.
<v Speaker 1>I think they find him. What did they find him?
<v Speaker 1>They find him like one hundred grand or something? Right?
<v Speaker 1>Was it one hundred grand or ten grand? I think
<v Speaker 1>it was one hundred grand. Maybe he got the money
<v Speaker 1>from Dan Hausen, but he he got in trouble for that.
<v Speaker 1>Can't be doing that. We got our next little rollins
<v Speaker 1>in rains vignette, Chapter four, their first meeting for money
<v Speaker 1>in the bank, twenty sixteen. You know, it is pretty
<v Speaker 1>crazy to think that the two of them, you know,
<v Speaker 1>when the Shield was broken up and he planted the
<v Speaker 1>chair in Roman's back. That was in June, I believe
<v Speaker 1>of twenty fourteen. It took two years before the two
<v Speaker 1>of them had their first singles match against each other.
<v Speaker 1>That's pretty crazy, but they did, and Rollins he won
<v Speaker 1>back the championship. He said that he never lost, but
<v Speaker 1>only for a moment. No mention of what he meant
<v Speaker 1>by that, no mention of why he only won the
<v Speaker 1>championship for a moment. They conveniently left out the part
<v Speaker 1>where the championship actually went to the third member of
<v Speaker 1>the Shield. All three members of the Shield and one
<v Speaker 1>night held the WWE title. But to watch this you
<v Speaker 1>would never know there was a third member of the Shield.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, backstage seth, Rollins gets up in Jacob Faughtu's
<v Speaker 1>face and he asked, fo two, you know, if I
<v Speaker 1>win the championship, it's SummerSlam? Do I get you? Is
<v Speaker 1>my is my bag boy? Like you are for Roman?
<v Speaker 1>Then Jacob said, if there's anything left of you after SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna beat your ass, but remember he can't put
<v Speaker 1>his hands on him, so there was no physicality here.
<v Speaker 1>We come back from commercial. We got a Paul Hayman
<v Speaker 1>video package where he talked about the dangers of Helena
<v Speaker 1>Sel and he called Oba femi Oba rated said that
<v Speaker 1>brock Lesnar is undefeated inside helen His South. Correct me
<v Speaker 1>if I'm wrong. I mean he is technically correct, but
<v Speaker 1>you know, to hear him talk about this, you would
<v Speaker 1>think that Brock had some sort of great streak going
<v Speaker 1>of just undefeated matches in Helena South. I believe he's
<v Speaker 1>only had two of them, right, I mean it was
<v Speaker 1>the Undertaker one in two thousand and two no Mercy,
<v Speaker 1>and the Undertaker one in twenty fifteen. I'm pretty sure
<v Speaker 1>the only hell of a cell matches he's ever been
<v Speaker 1>in were with the Undertaker, and I think it was
<v Speaker 1>just those two. But he is undefeated. He did win
<v Speaker 1>both of those matches. So then we got yet another
<v Speaker 1>history package on Roman reigns and seth rollins. This one
<v Speaker 1>about the reunion of the Shield. So what was this
<v Speaker 1>was twenty eighteen, twenty eighteen, right, and the two of
<v Speaker 1>them said that it never should have happened. It never
<v Speaker 1>felt right. Roman called it lost time that he can
<v Speaker 1>never get back. It's funny, that's how I felt watching
<v Speaker 1>this television show tonight. We had Dominic Mysterio against Joe
<v Speaker 1>Hendry Domin Lived. They entered first, and then they cut
<v Speaker 1>to a commercial break, and you guessed it, Joe Hendry's
<v Speaker 1>entrance once again relegated to the commercial break. At least
<v Speaker 1>we had the run in earlier in the show. We
<v Speaker 1>had the save. But I was like, as as much
<v Speaker 1>as I know my own name, as soon as they
<v Speaker 1>went to commercial, I said, he's coming out during the
<v Speaker 1>car and he did. He came out during the commercial break.
<v Speaker 1>When they came back. Before they even went to the ring,
<v Speaker 1>they talked about Nick all this and Gunther being made official,
<v Speaker 1>which it was on Sunday yesterday, that was made official
<v Speaker 1>for Armerslam. So then they cut back live to the
<v Speaker 1>arena and Joe Henry is already in the ring and
<v Speaker 1>he's swaying his hands back and forth. They can make
<v Speaker 1>him in that Chad Gable a tag team. You'll have
<v Speaker 1>Chad Gable doing the clap and you'll have Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 1>waving his arms back and forth. And they can win
<v Speaker 1>the world tag team titles. Liv Morgan involved herself here
<v Speaker 1>in this match because she is a manager. Now. Dan Housen,
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen, there he is again. Dan Housen comes out
<v Speaker 1>to put a curse on Live Morgan, and I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>wait a minute, He's already cursed her before, so you
<v Speaker 1>would think with a double curse it might have the
<v Speaker 1>opposite effect. It might actually uncurse her. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how that works. I do a lot of cursing, but
<v Speaker 1>not different kind of cursing. I did a lot of
<v Speaker 1>cursing watching this television show tonight, in fact, here in
<v Speaker 1>my house. So he went to go put a curse
<v Speaker 1>on her, and before he could finish the curse, she
<v Speaker 1>decked him and Dan Housen left. After a commercial, redumped
<v Speaker 1>Dom with a fallaway slam. Live then distracted Joe Hendrew,
<v Speaker 1>which allowed Dom to catch him with a tornado DDT
<v Speaker 1>dan Hausen, I swear to God, what did I say
<v Speaker 1>at the beginning of the stream? Minimum four? I think
<v Speaker 1>I actually undercut it. It was five or six times that
<v Speaker 1>this man made appearances here on this show. Dan Hausen
<v Speaker 1>comes out in his dan Housen Mobile or whatever, the
<v Speaker 1>fuck he calls it, and he's got EO Sky with him,
<v Speaker 1>and the two of them are doing this. So now
<v Speaker 1>we have a trio. I just realized we need a
<v Speaker 1>trio in this company. We can get Chad Gable doing this,
<v Speaker 1>we can get Joe Hendry doing this, and we can
<v Speaker 1>get Eo Sky doing this, and then I'll be in
<v Speaker 1>the corner banging my head against the wall over and
<v Speaker 1>over and over again. And then over there you'll have
<v Speaker 1>Jacob Fatu doing that whatever the fuck that is. Everybody
<v Speaker 1>will just lose their minds. There you go, wave your hands,
<v Speaker 1>clap your hands, do whatever this is. So Eo comes
<v Speaker 1>running down. She and Liv Morgan they start going at it.
<v Speaker 1>She throws Live into the ring. She delivers a springboard dropkick.
<v Speaker 1>The referee is now busy with the two ladies. Dan
<v Speaker 1>Hausen sneaks into the ring and he drops Don with
<v Speaker 1>the triple D, which is the dan Hausen death drop,
<v Speaker 1>and so Joe Hendry was able to pick up the win.
<v Speaker 1>And then later on they announced officially for SummerSlam it
<v Speaker 1>will be Dan Housen going one on one with Dominic Mysterio.
<v Speaker 1>And so it continues the main event of this show
<v Speaker 1>was Jacob fought II. This was Fa Tu's first match
<v Speaker 1>on Monday Night Raw one on one with La Knight. First,
<v Speaker 1>La Knight came out to the ring and he cut
<v Speaker 1>up from he said, he's standing here in the Dirty
<v Speaker 1>d just a few weeks from Summer Oh, I just
<v Speaker 1>realized they were in Detroit and Dynamite and Collision are
<v Speaker 1>in Detroit next week the Motor City. I guess the
<v Speaker 1>Motor City is very popular this month for wrestling shows.
<v Speaker 1>But they're in the Dirty D just a few weeks
<v Speaker 1>from SummerSlam, where he Solo Socoa and Royce Keys are
<v Speaker 1>going to team up against the USOS and Jacob fa too.
<v Speaker 1>But Solo Socoa came out here earlier tonight talking about
<v Speaker 1>helping seth Rawlins. After Night told him that it's hard
<v Speaker 1>to trust him. He said, Roman reigns against seth Rollins
<v Speaker 1>at SummerSlam makes him sick. And then we got Chance
<v Speaker 1>from the crowd. He was greeted by Chance of otc
<v Speaker 1>OTC and as he's done before, because he doesn't want
<v Speaker 1>to go completely, heal on the fans. He says, look,
<v Speaker 1>I don't even blame all of you because Roman has
<v Speaker 1>you conned. He basically called the fans a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>dumbasses in so many words, and said that you're being fooled,
<v Speaker 1>You're being hoodwinked by this man. He's coming out here
<v Speaker 1>year after year after year begging for people to like him,
<v Speaker 1>and for years the people booed him year after year
<v Speaker 1>after year until he finally figured things out. Meanwhile, La
<v Speaker 1>Knight walked in the door on day one being exactly
<v Speaker 1>who he is and who he wanted to be. Not
<v Speaker 1>only is he everything that Roman Reigns wanted to be,
<v Speaker 1>He's everything everyone in the back wanted Roman to be
<v Speaker 1>but couldn't. But as much as he can't stand Roman
<v Speaker 1>or Seth, he said, Solo is focused on the wrong thing.
<v Speaker 1>He wants to help Seth Rawlins. He says it's a
<v Speaker 1>bridge too far to go help a cross eyed half
<v Speaker 1>wit like Rolins against the bloodline. So in a minute,
<v Speaker 1>here fa I is going to come out here to
<v Speaker 1>his Mortal Kombat music, and he's going to come test
<v Speaker 1>his might. But whatever he does, he can't stop La
<v Speaker 1>Night and have your little shakes. He's got the cure
<v Speaker 1>he's talking about, you know, the Jacob Fat two shakes.
<v Speaker 1>You can have your little shakes, but he's got the cure,
<v Speaker 1>smacking you back to factory settings and the whole time
<v Speaker 1>he's doing so the soundtrack is going to be the
<v Speaker 1>same all around the world, where everybody's saying La night. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So there you go. And look, they gave him quite
<v Speaker 1>a bit of promo time here, which was nice to see.
<v Speaker 1>But Jacob Fatu comes out, they go to commercial, they
<v Speaker 1>come back, they join this match already in progress. This
<v Speaker 1>is the main event of the show, and they join
<v Speaker 1>the match already in progress. Fat two set Night out
<v Speaker 1>to the floor, Dove out onto him, Night Though, whipped
<v Speaker 1>him into the steel steps knees first. Fatu manages to
<v Speaker 1>come back with a samoan drop on the apron, which
<v Speaker 1>doesn't really sound as impressive when I tell you that
<v Speaker 1>was standing on the floor outside when he delivered this
<v Speaker 1>samo and drop on the apron, So basically he just
<v Speaker 1>kind of dumped them backwards on the apron, not as
<v Speaker 1>impressive as if he was standing on the apron and
<v Speaker 1>delivered a samo and drop. So then we got another
<v Speaker 1>break come back and Fatu is in control, goes up
<v Speaker 1>top Night Though is jockeying with him for a position
<v Speaker 1>on the ropes head butt sends La Night crashing down
<v Speaker 1>to the mat. Butt he jumps back up hits the
<v Speaker 1>big superplex. Here comes Jimmy Usso down to the ring
<v Speaker 1>to cheerlead for Fa Tu and he's got his back
<v Speaker 1>to the timekeeper's barrack. He's positioned himself very conveniently for
<v Speaker 1>someone to show up, and that's someone just so happened
<v Speaker 1>to be Solo Socoa. This is the second time that's happened,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, and so Solo Sokoa appears behind him
<v Speaker 1>and he attacks Fa Tu, though takes out Solo with
<v Speaker 1>a suicide dive back inside. He gets caught with a BFT,
<v Speaker 1>but Jimmy distracts the referee. Now Royce Keys appears and
<v Speaker 1>he beats down Uso, tosses him over the announced desk.
<v Speaker 1>Now we hear main event, Jay USO's music. Haven't seen
<v Speaker 1>him in a few weeks. He's been a little busy
<v Speaker 1>with some life stuff. I'm sure TMZ will be all
<v Speaker 1>over it. But he comes out of the crowd and
<v Speaker 1>he delivers a superkick to Royce Keys. Night takes down
<v Speaker 1>Jay with a basement dropkick through the ropes back inside
<v Speaker 1>the FA two nails him with a superkick and then
<v Speaker 1>a pop up, samoe and drop and then comes the
<v Speaker 1>double jump because Fat two hits the ropes to go
<v Speaker 1>for the Mighty Moon Salt and it connects and he
<v Speaker 1>pins La Night one two three. Thanks for coming La.
<v Speaker 1>After the match is over, solo Soakowa, he immediately pounces
<v Speaker 1>on Fa two like, doesn't even give him a chance
<v Speaker 1>to get up. After the three count, Jimmy runs in
<v Speaker 1>to attack him, Jay finishing solo off with a spear.
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys comes into the ring and he mows both
<v Speaker 1>usos down with a double clothesline. Fat two turns him
<v Speaker 1>around and the two friends they start going at it,
<v Speaker 1>so they're trading shots back and forth, and then Keys
<v Speaker 1>lays him out with a really good spinebuster. Then he
<v Speaker 1>falls though to a one D. Michael Cole couldn't help himself.
<v Speaker 1>He called it a three D. I actually don't blame
<v Speaker 1>him for that. That's what the fucking move is. It's
<v Speaker 1>a three D. But Corey Graves is like, no, no, Cole,
<v Speaker 1>it's a one D, one and done. Yeah, but it
<v Speaker 1>takes three men to do the move. It's a fucking
<v Speaker 1>three D. La Night gets up and Fat two applies
<v Speaker 1>the Tonguan death grip, which I will point out to
<v Speaker 1>you he still has not won any matches with. But
<v Speaker 1>he applies the Tongan death grip and gets him down
<v Speaker 1>in the corner, and that allows each USO and FOT
<v Speaker 1>two to each come in one by one with running
<v Speaker 1>hip attacks, and then Jay finished him off with a
<v Speaker 1>Samoan splash and USO splash off the top rope and
<v Speaker 1>the Bloodline left their opponents laying as they stood in
<v Speaker 1>the center of the ring, pointing their fingers up to
<v Speaker 1>the sky. Stop me. If you've heard this story before,
<v Speaker 1>and that is how Raw went off the air. I
<v Speaker 1>want to say it was ten seventeen PM. I believe
<v Speaker 1>it was almost fifteen minutes early that they went off
<v Speaker 1>the I don't know that I've ever watched an episode
<v Speaker 1>of Raw on Netflix that went off the air fifteen
<v Speaker 1>minutes early. That felt like it was minimum fifteen minutes
<v Speaker 1>longer than it actually was. This was as short of
<v Speaker 1>a Raw episode as we have had in a very
<v Speaker 1>long time, and I felt every minute of it. It
<v Speaker 1>was one of those nights. This was a terrible show.
<v Speaker 1>This was a terrible show in the lead up to
<v Speaker 1>SummerSlam in terms of getting me really excited or interested
<v Speaker 1>in the show any more so than I already was.
<v Speaker 1>It was just a hard show to sit through. It
<v Speaker 1>was fucking boring. It was a boring phone in television show.
<v Speaker 1>You know. Yeah, they were missing some big names, but
<v Speaker 1>you could still have a great show or a fun show,
<v Speaker 1>or an exciting show even if you don't have Roman
<v Speaker 1>Rains on the show or brock Lesnar on the show.
<v Speaker 1>Because let's be honest, if Roman Rains or brock Lesner
<v Speaker 1>are on the show, they're not doing anything. Roman's gonna
<v Speaker 1>come out to the ring. He's gonna cut the same
<v Speaker 1>promo we always hear him cut, and the fans will
<v Speaker 1>sing his name and or chant OTC. He's not gonna wrestle.
<v Speaker 1>Brock Lesnar is gonna be on the show. He's not
<v Speaker 1>gonna wrestle. He's gonna stand there, he's gonna bounce around,
<v Speaker 1>and Paul Hayman will cut the same promo he usually cuts. Right,
<v Speaker 1>talk shit, get hit. Okay. You didn't need them on
<v Speaker 1>the show to have a show that was you know,
<v Speaker 1>that would grab you in some way. So yeah, this show,
<v Speaker 1>this show sucked. I don't know any other way to
<v Speaker 1>put it. This show sucked. Hopefully SmackDown will Be'd be
<v Speaker 1>hard to imagine SmackDown being any worse, but coming out
<v Speaker 1>of what happened at the Summer Slam Off yesterday, would
<v Speaker 1>see him Punk and Cody Rhodes. If we can get
<v Speaker 1>a punkin Cody in ring confrontation on Friday, I think
<v Speaker 1>that would certainly be one way that I would go.
<v Speaker 1>We have to get that segment on SmackDown sometime in
<v Speaker 1>the next two weeks. This week would be as good
<v Speaker 1>as any because now we have tensions truly boiling over
<v Speaker 1>between the two of them. Of the two Summer Selim
<v Speaker 1>main events, that's the one I'm most personally, That's the
<v Speaker 1>one that I'm most interested in. Rollins and Rains I
<v Speaker 1>know are going to have a really good match. I
<v Speaker 1>don't doubt that, But I'm just their history being the
<v Speaker 1>catalyst for this does nothing for me. I don't give
<v Speaker 1>a shit that they were in the Shield fourteen years ago.
<v Speaker 1>I don't give a shit that he cashed in on
<v Speaker 1>him in twenty fifteen. I don't care. I don't give
<v Speaker 1>a shit. Cody and Punk, I've been looking forward to
<v Speaker 1>that match for a very long time. It's a match
<v Speaker 1>we haven't seen before. They've kept them apart. They're trying
<v Speaker 1>to manufacture some tension between them coming out of Saturday.
<v Speaker 1>You know, the belt accidentally hit Cody in the face
<v Speaker 1>when Punk was leaving and all. That's. Yeah, it's a
<v Speaker 1>very thin thing, but you had to have some spark
<v Speaker 1>right to light the fuse. And so now the two
<v Speaker 1>of them are going to beat each other's throats, words
<v Speaker 1>will be exchanged. I think things are going to really
<v Speaker 1>start to get interesting on that front. So I am
<v Speaker 1>looking forward to that on Friday. Like I said, it's
<v Speaker 1>just hard for me to imagine that show is going
<v Speaker 1>to be much worse. But we've seen some terrible fucking
<v Speaker 1>smackdowns this year. I mean, WWE television in general is
<v Speaker 1>just a fucking dumpster fire right now. It's bad. It's bad,
<v Speaker 1>It's very bad. But that was wrong. Rhea's title run
<v Speaker 1>this year was reminding me of when Trish had a
<v Speaker 1>year long title reign in two thousand and five but
<v Speaker 1>was off TV for months. Aren't those the most exciting?
<v Speaker 1>How many times do we get that with Brock when
<v Speaker 1>Brock was a universal champion. That's great TV. Let's put
<v Speaker 1>the belt on someone to elevate the belt, the value
<v Speaker 1>of the belt by putting it on a name and
<v Speaker 1>never have that name on TV. Very exciting. Yeah, well,
<v Speaker 1>that rear run sounds about as good as the Live
<v Speaker 1>Morgan run. Live Morgan's run has been the worst Women's
<v Speaker 1>Championship reign that I've ever seen, at least in the
<v Speaker 1>history of that title. Again, I don't blame her for that.
<v Speaker 1>She's not booking her own stuff, but it is the
<v Speaker 1>single worst rain that I've ever seen. And the quicker
<v Speaker 1>they can transition that belt away from her unto somebody else,
<v Speaker 1>the better. But who's to say they don't do the
<v Speaker 1>same thing with e O a Vo beats her for
<v Speaker 1>the championship? Who's EO going to work with? We didn't
<v Speaker 1>have a single women's match on the show tonight. That's
<v Speaker 1>the state of the division right now now. They did
<v Speaker 1>mention that next week, Rakeel Rodriguez is going to be
<v Speaker 1>challenging soul Ruka for the Intercontinental champ be a chip.
<v Speaker 1>That feels to me like we may be getting the
<v Speaker 1>title change next week, So we're going to get that
<v Speaker 1>on the show next week. But tonight there was nothing. Again,
<v Speaker 1>Lyra Valkyria couldn't even get TV time. Tonight, she was
<v Speaker 1>in an off air segment during the commercials. You know,
<v Speaker 1>I want heal Lyra to succeed, but again, it's important
<v Speaker 1>to get her on the actual television show. I understand
<v Speaker 1>she's not in a match right now at SummerSlam unless
<v Speaker 1>they add something next week. If Bailey makes a big
<v Speaker 1>comeback and they rematch them at Summer Slim, they have
<v Speaker 1>two nights, they'll probably end up with thirteen or fourteen matches,
<v Speaker 1>so you could, I don't know if they would, but
<v Speaker 1>you could do the rematch between her and Bailey on
<v Speaker 1>that show. But to not even have her on the show,
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, that's that's a mistake. You know, now is
<v Speaker 1>the most important time that she should be appearing on
<v Speaker 1>the show and doing stuff. But evidently there was just
<v Speaker 1>not enough room with all the Danausen segments. Without six
<v Speaker 1>dan Housen segments, there was no room for any of
<v Speaker 1>them on the show. So it didn't work out. Let's
<v Speaker 1>think a look at your super chests. I didn't even
<v Speaker 1>mention the dan Housen parade that we had. The other
<v Speaker 1>day they had and it was pouring rain in New
<v Speaker 1>York City and they had this little pathetic parade flow
<v Speaker 1>that they were just pulling down. God, what was that
<v Speaker 1>was that eighth Avenue now thirty fourth Street? It was
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen in Our Truth, holding their umbrellas in the rain,
<v Speaker 1>and they did that for like an hour in the
<v Speaker 1>lead up to Saturday Night's main event. Right now, it's
<v Speaker 1>all Dan Housen all the time. And look, I'm happy
<v Speaker 1>for all the success that he's having, but he's still
<v Speaker 1>a comedy gimmick. And when you have a comedy gimmick
<v Speaker 1>like that, you have to do it in small doses.
<v Speaker 1>If you begin to overload people on it, that is
<v Speaker 1>when people begin to resent you and they begin to
<v Speaker 1>turn on you. Maybe that's their goal. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>There is such a thing as too much. Hey Joseph Stewart,
<v Speaker 1>Happy Monday, brother. Yeah, there was a there was a
<v Speaker 1>big trailer I heard that dropped today, Avengers Doomsday. I
<v Speaker 1>will I will say I was very much caught off
<v Speaker 1>guard by that Robert Danny Junior voice. But I guess
<v Speaker 1>for Victor von Doom, I guess it does make sense.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, brother. Why did Tony Khan or what did
<v Speaker 1>Tony Khan? I think is what he meant? Do to
<v Speaker 1>make people believe in Orange Cassidy and Chris Statlander as
<v Speaker 1>good wrestlers and world champions more than they see speedball
<v Speaker 1>Mike Bailey as world champion. I'm not sure I understand
<v Speaker 1>the question. Orange Cassidy has never been a world champion before,
<v Speaker 1>he's been the international champion. Chris Statlander is a great wrestler,
<v Speaker 1>so not hard to wonder why she's been the AW
<v Speaker 1>Women's World champion. Speedball Mike Bailey not the AW World Champion. Sorry,
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of people ahead of him in line
<v Speaker 1>right now. Do you think TNA should have continued to
<v Speaker 1>build the company around Raven? No? Do you think Hulk
<v Speaker 1>Cogan would have been a good he Man? No? Do
<v Speaker 1>you think Arnold Schwarzenegger would have been a good Bane
<v Speaker 1>in a Batman movie? Maybe if he was a little younger,
<v Speaker 1>probably could have made that work. Sure, Masters of the
<v Speaker 1>Universe is gonna be on Amazon Prime this Wednesday. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>anybody who wants to check it out on digital, it
<v Speaker 1>will be available on Wednesday. I'm surprised they moved it
<v Speaker 1>to digital so quick, but it bombed at the box office,
<v Speaker 1>so I guess maybe I shouldn't be that surprised. Top
<v Speaker 1>performances in the Odyssey. You know who I was impressed
<v Speaker 1>by in the Odyssey John Leguizamo playing the old blind guy.
<v Speaker 1>I thought he did really well with it. I did.
<v Speaker 1>The one who I was least impressed by was Tom Holland.
<v Speaker 1>It was okay, but I mean there was nothing special
<v Speaker 1>about his performance. Matt Damon was great, and Hathaway was great.
<v Speaker 1>The woman who played Sirce the Witch, she was good anyway, Joseph,
<v Speaker 1>thank you brother. As always the show, an Thethon says,
<v Speaker 1>did you see Odyssey? And if so, what is you?
<v Speaker 1>I talked about it at the beginning of the podcast.
<v Speaker 1>You gotta go check out the sound off from yesterday
<v Speaker 1>right at the top. I enjoyed it very much, and yes,
<v Speaker 1>I did see the trailer. Am I gonna see the movie?
<v Speaker 1>That's a different that's a different story. Apparently it's coming
<v Speaker 1>Is it coming out the same day as Doune three?
<v Speaker 1>I should probably try to see Dune one and two
<v Speaker 1>to see if I like it enough to see Dune three?
<v Speaker 1>Is Dune worth watching? I never saw it. I need
<v Speaker 1>some feedback. I know Dave Batista's in one of them.
<v Speaker 1>Is he in the second one, quizical one. What is
<v Speaker 1>Ron Jeremy's favorite beer? Bush Light expressivpn dot com slash
<v Speaker 1>Sla Monster. It's the only VPN you need, brother. I
<v Speaker 1>use it every week, every stream except except Wednesday. Wednesday,
<v Speaker 1>I just go into HBO Max and I just watched
<v Speaker 1>it Dynamite. But for Ron SmackDown, it is a must.
<v Speaker 1>I actually watched Saturday Night's main event on YouTube. I
<v Speaker 1>use the VPN and watched it on YouTube because internationally
<v Speaker 1>it's on YouTube. And I did that because I was
<v Speaker 1>worried if I watched it on Peacock, I would be
<v Speaker 1>assaulted with the usual stuff. So I'm like, I'll just
<v Speaker 1>watch it on YouTube. Death Sie says, if they need
<v Speaker 1>to add women to the latter match at SummerSlam, then
<v Speaker 1>why not Lyra Valkeria and sol Ruka. Yes, they're on Raw.
<v Speaker 1>But I said once and I'll say it again, what
<v Speaker 1>brand spout? Sure, I have no problem with that. I
<v Speaker 1>think that's fine. They've already established that there are really
<v Speaker 1>no rules that anybody is held to when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to the separation of the rosters. So sure put Lyra
<v Speaker 1>in there, Soul, I mean Soul. Well, do you know what?
<v Speaker 1>Though they have the women's US champion who already qualified.
<v Speaker 1>Stratton's in there, so why not? Why not put her
<v Speaker 1>in there? It's fine by me. Dry Chicken says it
<v Speaker 1>won't happen. It will never happen. But Tom Brady could
<v Speaker 1>be pretty tempted to get in the ring with Logan
<v Speaker 1>Paul since Logan keeps provoking him. Yeah, well, fuck that noise.
<v Speaker 1>Nobody asks for this. Nobody Also Kenny Omega versus Kevin Knight,
<v Speaker 1>I'm predicting a false finish. Kevin Knight holds the world title,
<v Speaker 1>but another referee reverses the decision and restarts the match,
<v Speaker 1>So basically the rock benoit finish from a fully loaded
<v Speaker 1>in two thousand, Death Size says, when Drew McIntyre screwed
<v Speaker 1>Cody Roads out of the elimination chamber, what did Nick
<v Speaker 1>all this do? He gifted Cody a title shot on
<v Speaker 1>the following SmackDown, Well, can you really say he gifted
<v Speaker 1>it to him if he deserved it? The shawnathan Am
<v Speaker 1>I the only one that doesn't like the TKO era
<v Speaker 1>match card graphics for Plees. Summer Slam match card graphics
<v Speaker 1>look so basic. For the second biggest shot brother, there's
<v Speaker 1>a lot that I don't like about this tko era
<v Speaker 1>and the match card graphics are pretty low on the list.
<v Speaker 1>The Sheltered Kid says, a solo settle a bet if
<v Speaker 1>I a free wrestler, is it's smarter to join SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>because the was so ass I could be the best
<v Speaker 1>thing every week or join Raw? Well, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean Ra's catching up pretty quickly. Raw. I mean
<v Speaker 1>Raw was a big glass tonight. So I still think
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown has Raw licked. I'd say SmackDown ro's playing catchup,
<v Speaker 1>though also twenty years old in college. Only things keeping
<v Speaker 1>me going the weekend, the sound off, the weekend, by
<v Speaker 1>the way he's talking about the group, the sound off,
<v Speaker 1>obsession and fantasizing about Roxane Perez. Am I going places?
<v Speaker 1>You may be going to prison? I mean depending on
<v Speaker 1>how how seriously you take that fantasizing about Roxane Perez.
<v Speaker 1>As long as you're not creepy about it, you may
<v Speaker 1>be going behind bars if you're not careful. Void Mayweather says,
<v Speaker 1>never ending bloodlines slop every week at least introduce some
<v Speaker 1>new element to it. If only there was a new
<v Speaker 1>element to introduce to it, If only cataclysmic ten dollars
<v Speaker 1>super chet joke. Question, with the right amount of zeros
<v Speaker 1>on a check, would you ever sell out to WWE
<v Speaker 1>or AW? What did the million dollar man say many
<v Speaker 1>years ago? Everybody's got a price. You put enough zeros
<v Speaker 1>on the end. There we can have that conversation. Real question,
<v Speaker 1>he says, thoughts on Cham this is a Roman losing
<v Speaker 1>at SummerSlam. Very low. The only reason I leave open
<v Speaker 1>a slight little possibility is because Roman had said months
<v Speaker 1>ago that you got me for the summer, implying that
<v Speaker 1>when the summer is over, he's going to disappear again,
<v Speaker 1>possibly until rumble season, or maybe not even rumble season,
<v Speaker 1>maybe maybe wargame season. But I'm fairly certain the answer
<v Speaker 1>is now. Also, happy belated birthday anniversary and making it
<v Speaker 1>to number one. I've been listening on and off this
<v Speaker 1>past year, but your streams keep me going every morning.
<v Speaker 1>Wishing you the best and thank you, Thank you, cataclusem.
<v Speaker 1>Belated happy birthday, Huh, that's very belated, seeing is how
<v Speaker 1>my birthday is in October. But I appreciate it. Give
<v Speaker 1>me backshots. Solomon Roman equals huge net negative to the
<v Speaker 1>other talent directly made fought to a Lackey indirectly made
<v Speaker 1>bron A Lackey probably will avoid the OBA match at WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>If we don't get that match of WrestleMania, then there
<v Speaker 1>are some very interesting political games going on. We'll find
<v Speaker 1>out soon enough. That's gotta be the match of WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>B Man the Chant The Icy title match would be
<v Speaker 1>more interesting if Gable had a despicable heel to try
<v Speaker 1>to beat. Maybe he could turn after the match if
<v Speaker 1>he actually wins, and say that it was all a
<v Speaker 1>ruse to get what he wanted. I mean, I I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, to go right back to being a heel.
<v Speaker 1>That would be kind of funny. Actually, if he's like,
<v Speaker 1>fuck all of you, I just wanted to make sure
<v Speaker 1>I got my hands on the title. Mike with a
<v Speaker 1>Ten says I have said this before and I will
<v Speaker 1>say it again. Joyce Keys should be booked so much better.
<v Speaker 1>Joyce Key is that his mom his girlfriend. He should
<v Speaker 1>be SmackDown's version of Ova, not getting laid out by
<v Speaker 1>the tiresome USO's just annoying. Prince begeta sa is seth
<v Speaker 1>Rollins made of any Night two over Punkin Cody is ridiculous.
<v Speaker 1>He's not the star that those two are. That's the
<v Speaker 1>one thing that Roman said was right. Triple H has
<v Speaker 1>always been his work. Daddy overrated as fuck. I agree
<v Speaker 1>as far as like star power in terms of n ring,
<v Speaker 1>I would disagree, But as far as him being a star, absolutely,
<v Speaker 1>he's not at the level of the other three. Nick
<v Speaker 1>Grosso with a nine ninety nine says, my god, the
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day is such a dead group. They really need
<v Speaker 1>to disband. Also, zero women's matches and they put Eo
<v Speaker 1>Sky with Dan House, and that's how you build a
<v Speaker 1>women's world title match. Brother, they don't know what the
<v Speaker 1>fuck they're doing when it comes to the Women's World Championship.
<v Speaker 1>They are completely out to lunch. This booking is horrendous. Horrendous.
<v Speaker 1>D says, imagine the promos between La Knight and Enzo.
<v Speaker 1>Ashley with a ten. My husband was Junkyard Jeff. He
<v Speaker 1>passed away this Saturday. Oh my god. What's important is
<v Speaker 1>how much he loved listening to this podcast. I can't
<v Speaker 1>thank you for how much entertainment you brought into his life. Ashley,
<v Speaker 1>I'm very sorry to hear that. That is terror. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know all the details and none of my business.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm very sorry to hear that, very happy that
<v Speaker 1>he apparently enjoyed the podcast as much as he did.
<v Speaker 1>That actually makes me feel really good, and I'm glad
<v Speaker 1>he was able to get as much entertainment out of
<v Speaker 1>it as he as he did. I try to to
<v Speaker 1>offer that to the people who listen, but that is awful.
<v Speaker 1>My thoughts are with you. I'm very sorry. Jersey Authentic
<v Speaker 1>says fuck TKO. All my homies hate TKO. You're not
<v Speaker 1>the only one. I've heard that from Eric Joseph. He says,
<v Speaker 1>my mother passed away from pancreatic cancer about three weeks ago,
<v Speaker 1>and the only way I can have any happiness right
<v Speaker 1>now would be spending this evening by hearing your reviews.
<v Speaker 1>And I do enjoy your voice, man, Eric, I am
<v Speaker 1>terribly sorry about your loss. If I may say fuck cancer,
<v Speaker 1>I will say it as loud as I can every
<v Speaker 1>single time. And I know pancreatic cancer is obviously that's
<v Speaker 1>a pretty devastating diagnosis to get. I mean, any diagnosis
<v Speaker 1>is a terrible diagnosis, but that one, in particular, I
<v Speaker 1>know is very difficult to fight. And I know what
<v Speaker 1>that feeling is like to lose your mom to cancer,
<v Speaker 1>and it sucks. It's just the worst feeling. It's the worst.
<v Speaker 1>So if we can bring any happiness to you, however
<v Speaker 1>big or small it may be, I'm very happy to
<v Speaker 1>do so because I know there are some dark days
<v Speaker 1>when something like that happens, and any little bit of
<v Speaker 1>light that you can find, I know that you'll jump
<v Speaker 1>at it. So again, I'm very sorry to hear that.
<v Speaker 1>Arabian Night says Kenny Omega's prediction might actually come true.
<v Speaker 1>We may get Tom Brady against mister Beast at WrestleMania. Man,
<v Speaker 1>this company under TKO is cooked a parody of pro wrestling. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I forgot that Omega had said that. That's that's very scary. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Here's the thing like WWE, their infatuation with celebrities is
<v Speaker 1>nothing new. The first WrestleMania was built on celebrity involvement.
<v Speaker 1>That show doesn't succeed without it. Without Cindy Lauper and
<v Speaker 1>mister t that show is not a success or at
<v Speaker 1>least not the success that it was. So we can't
<v Speaker 1>pretend like celebrities being involved in WWE is some new phenomenon.
<v Speaker 1>But the difference is like when they would do it previously,
<v Speaker 1>there was usually like a good reason for it. Even
<v Speaker 1>when they brought in lt in ninety five, like business
<v Speaker 1>was not great, and they paid him a lot of money.
<v Speaker 1>It was said to be in the range of half
<v Speaker 1>a million dollars to come in and do a wrestling match,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm sure he probably could have used the payday
<v Speaker 1>at the time, and they were just trying to drum
<v Speaker 1>up interest in a show that otherwise felt dead because
<v Speaker 1>the company in ninety five, business wise was dead. So
<v Speaker 1>even something like that, you can understand why he would
<v Speaker 1>have wanted to take a shot. You know what I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I'm bringing in a celebrity to do something on that show.
<v Speaker 1>Tyson in ninety eight demonstrably important, demonstrably made a difference
<v Speaker 1>in that company was bringing Tyson in. But it's this
<v Speaker 1>usage of them and this over reliance on them, and
<v Speaker 1>it's almost like, hey, look at me, we're so cool mainstream.
<v Speaker 1>It's it's pathetic. It's it's really pathetic. It's this over
<v Speaker 1>abundance of it every single week, every single show, the
<v Speaker 1>influencers and the celebrities and the musicians, and it's not
<v Speaker 1>even just showing them in the crowd. It's bringing them
<v Speaker 1>into the show. And I said this when it came
<v Speaker 1>to the Pat McAfee and the jelly roll stuff, I said, like,
<v Speaker 1>WWE has turned into fantasy camp. Anybody who wants to
<v Speaker 1>come in and play pretend wrestler for a day gets
<v Speaker 1>to do it. You know as a kid, when I
<v Speaker 1>was younger, Oh man, that would have been that would
<v Speaker 1>have been so fucking cool, right, But like it's this
<v Speaker 1>constant stream of like, Hey, this person's gonna come in
<v Speaker 1>and do this on this show, and we're gonna have
<v Speaker 1>so and so is gonna be in this guy's corner,
<v Speaker 1>and this person's gonna wrestle a match. For every bad
<v Speaker 1>bunny who goes in there and has a great match,
<v Speaker 1>you get like five or six other people, And I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>why why are they on my television? Like what is this?
<v Speaker 1>There used to be a show on MTV called Celebrity Deathmatch.
<v Speaker 1>This WWE has basically become like a real life version
<v Speaker 1>of that. It really is. It's like fantasy camp. This
<v Speaker 1>is a it's a very different. It's just not the same.
<v Speaker 1>The product is not I don't recognize what this product is.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what this product. In twenty twenty six
<v Speaker 1>is supposed to be. It's not a pro wrestling show.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. It's become some weird hybrid mix of
<v Speaker 1>like a bunch of different things, and I'm not sure
<v Speaker 1>what it is, but it ain't it. It's not great.
<v Speaker 1>Whatever it is, it's not great, Phil says Hi Solo
<v Speaker 1>around what year do you think the honeymoon face started
<v Speaker 1>ending for Triple H? Honestly, after Cody finished his story
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty four, EJ Slam Brewers and Mets tonight was
<v Speaker 1>a blast, Miss Pitcher, not shitty wrestler. What's amazing? Saw?
<v Speaker 1>Keith Hernandez an American family field is a jam? Yes, but
<v Speaker 1>you did not answer the most important question, who won?
<v Speaker 1>Or should I even ask? The average grunt? Birthday boy
<v Speaker 1>popping in to say hello, all the best, Well, happy birthday,
<v Speaker 1>average grunt. Now go back to enjoying your birthday and
<v Speaker 1>living it up and not watching Monday Night Raw Monday
<v Speaker 1>Night Bore. Brian h De Green Boy with a ten,
<v Speaker 1>says what's up, Solo. I was at the show tonight.
<v Speaker 1>It was a lot more fun being there live than
<v Speaker 1>it would have been watching it on TV, for sure,
<v Speaker 1>especially with Punk being on SmackDown now and no Roman appearance. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they really short changed you guys, didn't they. In the
<v Speaker 1>last few weeks on Raw, we've had Roman and Brock
<v Speaker 1>and Cody and Punk. You didn't have any of them
<v Speaker 1>tonight unless there was a dark match. The Mets lost.
<v Speaker 1>Grass is green, the sky is blue, and water is wet.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for the update, Venom Kitetsu again with that
<v Speaker 1>sixty nine drop man. That was a long time ago.
<v Speaker 1>How many of these do we have? I already read
<v Speaker 1>that message, but I want to say thank you again.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate that medium Ugly lad, what's up? Solo Raw?
<v Speaker 1>Once again proving to me that the only good wrestling
<v Speaker 1>shows I've been to this year are Hog and Stardom.
<v Speaker 1>I left Saturday Nights Made Event early because of the
<v Speaker 1>New York Knicks Galazing. Oh. I did read that one earlier,
<v Speaker 1>but it was so good I had to read it again.
<v Speaker 1>You mean you left during the main event. Put that
<v Speaker 1>in air quotes the main event Met's loss to the
<v Speaker 1>Brewers eight to three. I thought it would be worse.
<v Speaker 1>Phil Hi Solo start bench cut Eo Sky, Stephanie Viquer,
<v Speaker 1>Roxanne Perez also Maxine Dupre sucks she needs to go away,
<v Speaker 1>start bench and cut. Well, I'm gonna start EO, I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to bench Stephanie, who's bench now anyway, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna cut rock sand Since you're forcing me, you're forcing
<v Speaker 1>my hand. I don't want to cut anybody, but you're
<v Speaker 1>forcing me. So Barry MK, thank you again again. I
<v Speaker 1>read that one earlier. Thank you for the learning tree,
<v Speaker 1>the average grunt. Thank god. I don't watch a WW
<v Speaker 1>anymore because if I had to watch a rass centered
<v Speaker 1>around Dan Housen on my birthday, I would quit life.
<v Speaker 1>On the spot, well, it's a little extreme. Let's not
<v Speaker 1>be quitting life now. He means his wrestling life is
<v Speaker 1>what he would be quitting. Prince Begeta says, I know
<v Speaker 1>you don't like Mount Rushmore lists, but what's your Mount
<v Speaker 1>rush what's your Mount Rushmore? For directors, Uh, well, Nolan
<v Speaker 1>is on mine. Nolan is definitely on mine. Uh, Scorsese, Spielberg,
<v Speaker 1>maybe Michael Mann. Honestly, yeah, I'm very excited. Heat two
<v Speaker 1>is in development and they're attaching a lot of big
<v Speaker 1>names to it. I know. I think I think Christian Bale,
<v Speaker 1>DiCaprio and uh and there are others too. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and of course, and again this is not in any
<v Speaker 1>particular order here. How can I forget the man himself,
<v Speaker 1>John Carpenter. I am a horror fan. I am a
<v Speaker 1>Carpenter guy. He's got to be on the list. Put
<v Speaker 1>him wherever you want. Alex Garcia with a twenty dollars
<v Speaker 1>super chat. I was finally watching the Obsession movie before
<v Speaker 1>Raw tonight as I ate a Deli sandwich. Bad idea.
<v Speaker 1>Well what's the verdict, Alex, what's the verdict on cat?
<v Speaker 1>You have to let us know, red Emissary of Darkness.
<v Speaker 1>What's worse? Bloodline Vortex or the Jericho Vortex? Oh man,
<v Speaker 1>ah boy, Well, the Bloodline Vortex was actually quite great
<v Speaker 1>for a while there, so I'm gonna say the Jericho
<v Speaker 1>Vortex was worse. Super Pony. I agree with Prince Vajeta.
<v Speaker 1>I'll never take away from Seth how good he is
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. What was the last time his character
<v Speaker 1>was compelling? He might be the most overpushed wrestler of
<v Speaker 1>this era. I don't know that his character has ever
<v Speaker 1>been compelling. There's nothing about Rollin's and his character and
<v Speaker 1>his persona on TV that's ever compelled me, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I can appreciate the great matches that he's had. What
<v Speaker 1>he's doing now is not compelling. When he was with
<v Speaker 1>the Vision, that wasn't compelling. When he was coming out dressed,
<v Speaker 1>you know, wearing his wife's clothes, that was not compelling.
<v Speaker 1>I guess maybe it's going back to, honestly, probably the
<v Speaker 1>shield and maybe the initial period when he you know,
<v Speaker 1>went with the authority and helped break up the shield,
<v Speaker 1>that was probably it. Compelling is not a word I
<v Speaker 1>would use to describe Seth Rowland's on TV. It's just
<v Speaker 1>not Bucky freaking Dent. Thoughts on the steroid era of baseball? Also,
<v Speaker 1>what is your favorite home run derby? I don't think
<v Speaker 1>I have a specific year. The steroid era of baseball
<v Speaker 1>is a legendary. It was a lot of fun. It
<v Speaker 1>wasn't as fun after they got the juice out. I'm
<v Speaker 1>just saying, I'm sure they're hopefully all healthier now. But
<v Speaker 1>when you have look, it's very much like pro wrestling
<v Speaker 1>in that regard. So when steroids were running wild, brother,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, fucking eighty five percent of the guys
<v Speaker 1>were doing it, that came during a period of wrestling that, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I grew up on, So of course I'm always going
<v Speaker 1>to have a fondness for it because that was the
<v Speaker 1>era became a fan in. But the personalities were just
<v Speaker 1>I mean literally you would look at them on screen
<v Speaker 1>and they were so much more colorful, but just like
<v Speaker 1>the promos were so much more entertaining, and the personalities
<v Speaker 1>were larger than life. Not just the bodies fucking monsters
<v Speaker 1>and giants. Wrestling. Wrestling was just they're just better the matches. Look,
<v Speaker 1>that's the trade off, right, So if you're someone who's
<v Speaker 1>big on work rate and you know in ring, obviously
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna find a lot of great wrestling these days.
<v Speaker 1>And the style of wrestling is just a lot more
<v Speaker 1>fast paced. It's a lot more manic than it was
<v Speaker 1>back then. But wrestling back then felt like pro wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>If we're talking WWE, I don't know what this WWE
<v Speaker 1>product now is supposed to be. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>the accurate term would be to really even call it,
<v Speaker 1>because it's not really wrestling in the way that I
<v Speaker 1>knew wrestling to be. It's different. So the steroid era
<v Speaker 1>of baseball was a lot of fun to watch as
<v Speaker 1>a fan, as was the steroid era of wrestling. Not
<v Speaker 1>that there aren't people that who aren't doing steroids, but
<v Speaker 1>it was certainly more bountiful back then. It was it was,
<v Speaker 1>it was peak. It was peak baseball. There are people
<v Speaker 1>who don't want to admit it, but it was. And
<v Speaker 1>Nick Grosso WWE should take notes from Hog on how
<v Speaker 1>to book women's title matches. The Shatzi Blackhart Steph de
<v Speaker 1>Lander build was better than any WWE women's matches that
<v Speaker 1>they tried to book. Well, the thing about the independency,
<v Speaker 1>you know, so you got to keep in mind is
<v Speaker 1>that you have a lot more freedom to do certain
<v Speaker 1>things that you want to incorporate into your storyline that
<v Speaker 1>they may not have, you know, on WWE television for example,
<v Speaker 1>that helps the creativity flows more. Also when you're on
<v Speaker 1>the independency and there's a lot more collaboration. I don't
<v Speaker 1>disagree with you though, that was a very heated feud.
<v Speaker 1>I can remember being in the back of an ambulance
<v Speaker 1>in fact, after Shatzi was attacked backstage and had a
<v Speaker 1>whole conversation with her and she demanded that I'm going back.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going out there, I have a match, then I'm
<v Speaker 1>going out there and fuck Steph de Lander, and I
<v Speaker 1>tried to get her to stay in the ambulance, and
<v Speaker 1>she just threw the ice pack at me and she
<v Speaker 1>left the ambulance. And I just was sitting there in
<v Speaker 1>the back of the ambulance, wondering, did I how did
<v Speaker 1>I get here? How did I get to this point
<v Speaker 1>in my life? I'm sitting alone here in an ambulance
<v Speaker 1>with an ice pack in my hand. Oh man. But
<v Speaker 1>that's the way it goes, right, That's how it goes. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>you know what you should do? Because the next House
<v Speaker 1>of Glory show we're going to be streaming at it's
<v Speaker 1>one of our biggest shows the year. We're gonna be
<v Speaker 1>streaming it live on YouTube for the first time. It
<v Speaker 1>is the Friday after Summer Slim, the SmackDown after Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slim that night, fuck SmackDown. You should all tune into HOG.
<v Speaker 1>It'll be a much better show, or at least do
<v Speaker 1>the two screen experience. But my goal is to deliver
<v Speaker 1>a show that is going to be more enjoyable than
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown will be. I know it's a low bar, but
<v Speaker 1>that's my goal. So we got one round to be
<v Speaker 1>the booker coming to us and on the likes. We
<v Speaker 1>are at five point fifty one. The wheel said we
<v Speaker 1>needed five fifty. We have one like more than the goal.
<v Speaker 1>So we are guaranteed two rounds of be the Booker tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and we're seven out of ten on the bonus. We
<v Speaker 1>only need three more and we may get three rounds.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna leave that up to you, guys. Let's get
<v Speaker 1>started on the first round. It's time. I'm gonna whisper this. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>look around, make sure nobody can hear me. It's time
<v Speaker 1>to be the booker. Ladies and gentlemen, it is now
<v Speaker 1>time to be the booker. I don't know why I'm
<v Speaker 1>whispering watching you sleep. It's so cute when you sleep.
<v Speaker 1>All right, here we go round number one. Look at that.
<v Speaker 1>Sarah has the right idea. I will be watching Hjog
<v Speaker 1>instead of SmackDown. So watch now. WWE now is going
<v Speaker 1>to counter program House of Glory. They're gonna suddenly they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna they're gonna schedule a b cruise show the same night.
<v Speaker 1>The Raw crew is gonna be running a show somewhere
<v Speaker 1>in New york'st to counter program us like they do
<v Speaker 1>aaw all right, tag team, be the Booker we have. Well,
<v Speaker 1>this is quite the image considering where we are here
<v Speaker 1>in twenty twenty six, Edge and Christian with their tag
<v Speaker 1>team titles and this this, I can tell this is
<v Speaker 1>from SummerSlam. SummerSlam two thousand, twenty six years later, they
<v Speaker 1>are the tag team champions. They look very different. All
<v Speaker 1>that hair is gone. Christian Christian. Honestly, Christian still pretty
<v Speaker 1>much looks the same as he did when he first
<v Speaker 1>came into aaw For some reason, Copeland, it looks like
<v Speaker 1>he aged like ten years and two. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what it is. He's a lot more
<v Speaker 1>grizzled now than he was even when he first came in.
<v Speaker 1>He aged very quickly, very rapidly. Christian pretty much still
<v Speaker 1>looks the same as he did a few years ago.
<v Speaker 1>All right, here we go, Edge and Christian is going
<v Speaker 1>to be putting those tag belts on the line against
<v Speaker 1>So we got more belts. We got Miz and Big
<v Speaker 1>Show Miss. Okay, see I know they have a name,
<v Speaker 1>show Mis. Is it show Mis? We just went through
<v Speaker 1>this a few weeks ago. What the fuck was their name?
<v Speaker 1>I think it was show Miz. Yeah, not interested? Not interested?
<v Speaker 1>That may be an unpopular decision, but that gets the
<v Speaker 1>buzzer from me. I'm going to do with triple H
<v Speaker 1>was terrified of doing tonight. I'm going to book a
<v Speaker 1>women's match. We've got Becky Lynch, who is not on
<v Speaker 1>the Summer Slam card this year. Oh my goodness, we
<v Speaker 1>just hit the bonus bonus, the double bonus. We have
<v Speaker 1>not one, not two, but three rounds of be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker coming to you here. Let's let a hearty cheer.
<v Speaker 1>It was Chicago for MBK who got us over the home.
<v Speaker 1>Chicago for MBK clinched it, so we got a lot
<v Speaker 1>more be the booker to come. Oh my, Becky Lynch,
<v Speaker 1>who is Becky Lynch? Gonna be mixing it up with
<v Speaker 1>who was that? Who was that of the chat Karate
<v Speaker 1>chop Shop? You popped me. That's that's the line of
<v Speaker 1>the night right there. I couldn't figure out, you know,
<v Speaker 1>Missing Big Show. I couldn't figure out what the name was,
<v Speaker 1>and I think it was I think it was Miss
<v Speaker 1>Show and he goes shit Show and I'm like, how
<v Speaker 1>did I not think of that? That's exactly what that
<v Speaker 1>team was. Shit show. Egend Christian against shit Show. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>it still gets a buzzer. Becky Lynch is gonna be
<v Speaker 1>wrestling hmm, Dana Brook, Man, come on, man, come on,
<v Speaker 1>where are the big matches. I'm trying to book a
<v Speaker 1>card here that people are gonna want to pay to see.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna have to get shit Show back out here.
<v Speaker 1>Gangrel is watching you masturbate. Spin again. This is this
<v Speaker 1>is It's one of those nights, and be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>I don't I don't know what to say. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what to say. We go from shit show today
<v Speaker 1>Brook to Gangrell masturbating. This has been quite It's a
<v Speaker 1>good thing. We have two more rounds to go because
<v Speaker 1>this is a lost cause at this point, so we
<v Speaker 1>will try try again. Here we have demon Balor, who
<v Speaker 1>is definitely not watching you masturbate. I don't think so. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>demon Ballor is going to be in our main event.
<v Speaker 1>Is it going to be pin Balor? Depends on who
<v Speaker 1>he's wrestling. Oh, he's definitely going to be pin Balor.
<v Speaker 1>That's the damn sure, demon Balor against brock Lesnar. You know,
<v Speaker 1>damn well, it ain't going any other way but pin Balor.
<v Speaker 1>All right, So now what we are going to do
<v Speaker 1>here is move on to round number two of three.
<v Speaker 1>And those of you who have been around for a while,
<v Speaker 1>you know that in the later rounds we picked stipulations
<v Speaker 1>which were recently refreshed. So we're gonna see what we
<v Speaker 1>land on here. We're gonna find out what kinds of
<v Speaker 1>matches we're gonna be having our for Fox. You fucking
<v Speaker 1>kidding me with this? You know when I said that
<v Speaker 1>be the booker was on one tonight, I was hoping
<v Speaker 1>to leave that in the first round. I really was.
<v Speaker 1>And now we open this round with a Punjabi prison match,
<v Speaker 1>not the way that I wanted to start round number two.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna do something that Triple H is terrified of doing.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to book a women's Punjabi prison He would never,
<v Speaker 1>he would never, But I'm going to ooh, some Kong
<v Speaker 1>former TNA knockout. You know what, if there was anybody
<v Speaker 1>who would probably excel in a match like this, it
<v Speaker 1>would be awesome Kng because she gets her opponent trapped
<v Speaker 1>inside a cage. That's not a place that you want
<v Speaker 1>to be looking across the ring from her in a
<v Speaker 1>Punjabi prison match. I wouldn't want to do that. Wow, Now,
<v Speaker 1>how's that? For a match Awesome Kong against Sherri Martel
<v Speaker 1>in a Punjabi prison match. Two tough ladies. See that.
<v Speaker 1>I dig that. I have to give a bell to that.
<v Speaker 1>How can I not? Our next match is going to
<v Speaker 1>be a Lions then match. We've had quite a few
<v Speaker 1>of these lately. We had we had one just the
<v Speaker 1>other night. We had Allions that match. So we'll keep
<v Speaker 1>it to the There's got to be a singles match,
<v Speaker 1>so we'll keep it to the men. We may have
<v Speaker 1>to skip the tag teams here for this round. But
<v Speaker 1>let's see here we have a lions Den with the
<v Speaker 1>British Bulldog Davy boy Smith entering the cage. Get that
<v Speaker 1>drum roll, Get that drum roll, British Bulldog against the
<v Speaker 1>tribal chief Roman Reigns. Looks like the bulldog is going
<v Speaker 1>to fall. It looks like the monarchy is going to
<v Speaker 1>fall to the bloodline, the monarchy falls to the dynasty
<v Speaker 1>and our main event. Oh okay, I think be the
<v Speaker 1>booker has made its choice of which stipulation it likes
<v Speaker 1>the most. Really loves this Lions then match. We have
<v Speaker 1>our second Lions Then match of the night. Holy shit,
<v Speaker 1>are you kidding me? With this. What is the obsession
<v Speaker 1>with lions? The Lions then, I feel like I've booked
<v Speaker 1>four of these in the last week, talking about running
<v Speaker 1>a stipulation into the ground. Ricky the Dragon's steamboat. Oh
<v Speaker 1>he can make any match work. Look at him blowing
<v Speaker 1>that fire. Cav says Michael call the bulldog against the
<v Speaker 1>big dog. Oh my god, that's nauseating. It's nauseating that
<v Speaker 1>I could hear his voice in my fucking head, the
<v Speaker 1>bulldog against the big Dog. No Michael cole call will
<v Speaker 1>ever be more cringe inducing to me. I mean, for
<v Speaker 1>all the big dogs and the Boss times and everything else,
<v Speaker 1>nothing will ever be as cringe worthy to me as
<v Speaker 1>the call that he made in the Latin not the
<v Speaker 1>latter mess the hell in a Cell match and WRESTLEMANI
<v Speaker 1>at thirty two between the Undertaker and Shane McMahon, when
<v Speaker 1>Shane McMahon came diving off the top of the cell
<v Speaker 1>and Michael Cole is on camera after Shane lands, we
<v Speaker 1>could see him literally reading from a script for the
<v Speaker 1>love of Mankind. I'm like, dude, I wanted to crawl
<v Speaker 1>into a ball like I had secondhand embarrassment from listening
<v Speaker 1>today so forced and fake and insincere, and he had
<v Speaker 1>to read it from a fucking script. And that's what's
<v Speaker 1>wrong with WWE. And that was how many years ago
<v Speaker 1>I was ten years ago now, for the love of mankind,
<v Speaker 1>Ricky the Dragon Steamboat against William Regal in a lions
<v Speaker 1>Den match. Hell yeah, I wonder if those two ever
<v Speaker 1>wrestled in I think they did when they were in
<v Speaker 1>WCW together, like ninety four ish. I don't know. I
<v Speaker 1>wonder if they ever wrestled. Yeah, it's all Vince, but
<v Speaker 1>so what Cole was the one delivering it. It was
<v Speaker 1>fucking cringe inducing. Nothing I said was a lie. Everything
<v Speaker 1>I said was accurate. Yes, I understand he's doing his job.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't make his It doesn't make it any better.
<v Speaker 1>Still sucks, all right, Round number three good thing. We
<v Speaker 1>have that third round coming our way. Hopefully no Punjabi
<v Speaker 1>prisons here. It's the amazing goom oh god, Jerry Lawler
<v Speaker 1>loves gumhar the magnificent all hell goomfar he is back.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god. TMH. Solo Prince says, I that law
<v Speaker 1>and order stuff a while back had me crying laughing.
<v Speaker 1>I bet it did, TMH. Thank you another fifty dollars.
<v Speaker 1>Gundhar drop the fifty and the fifty, combining for one
<v Speaker 1>hundred dollars. Bomb Man. He is solidifying the top spot tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Look at all that magenta. I love it. I love it,
<v Speaker 1>and Mike, thank you for the five men. Mike Witt
<v Speaker 1>dropping some more love. You'd love to see it. I
<v Speaker 1>love to see this third round two. I love to
<v Speaker 1>see this. It is going to be a boiler room brawl,
<v Speaker 1>and I love that because I have a soft spot
<v Speaker 1>in my heart for the stipulation. I really enjoyed that
<v Speaker 1>boiler room brawl from Summer Slim in nineteen ninety six.
<v Speaker 1>It's a personal favorite of mine. Paul Behar turning on
<v Speaker 1>the Undertaker at the end of that match. But it
<v Speaker 1>started in the boiler room, and they had to work
<v Speaker 1>their way out of the boiler room and into the arena,
<v Speaker 1>and they taped the boiler room or the whole backstage
<v Speaker 1>portion of that match. I think the day before. I
<v Speaker 1>believe either earlier in the day or the day before.
<v Speaker 1>I think the day before. Then they just came out
<v Speaker 1>live as if the whole thing was done live, and
<v Speaker 1>if I remember correctly, I think Undertaker worked that match
<v Speaker 1>with a staph infection in his elbow. So anyway, boiler
<v Speaker 1>room brawl. Hmm, go with the men, Abyss. Perfect stipulation
<v Speaker 1>for Abyss. I could totally see him in a boiler
<v Speaker 1>room brawl. It's just it works. It works right, it
<v Speaker 1>works so well. I have a good feeling about this card.
<v Speaker 1>I think this card's gonna really, this card's gonna sell
<v Speaker 1>out the joint. Abyss it a boiler room brawl against
<v Speaker 1>the beast mortoas oh man, beast mortos Man. This guy's
<v Speaker 1>been dealing with visa issues. We haven't seen him, and
<v Speaker 1>I feel like I haven't seen him in months. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure Mercedes has though Abyss and the beast morteos Man
<v Speaker 1>starting in the boiler room and that those guys are
<v Speaker 1>gonna go nuts. That's gonna be great, low key man,
<v Speaker 1>that's gonna be great. And do you know that Abyss
<v Speaker 1>and the beast Mortals have more in common than you
<v Speaker 1>would think. Abyss has a brother who's a lawyer. The
<v Speaker 1>beast Morteo's happens to be a lawyer. Yeah. See, there's
<v Speaker 1>a common tie the binds there. All right, we go
<v Speaker 1>from a boiler room brawl to a hell in a cell.
<v Speaker 1>You know what I'm thinking? No, never mind, I had
<v Speaker 1>a thought, but I'm gonna not do that. We're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have a women's hell in a cell match. Change it
<v Speaker 1>up a little bit, Frank the lawyer, Yes, that's right,
<v Speaker 1>Frank the lawyer against against Joseph park Esquire, All right,
<v Speaker 1>women's helling a cell with Stephanie McMahon Helmsley. Yes, that
<v Speaker 1>is the Women's Championship over her shoulder, a former women's champion,
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie McMahon in a hell and a cell match. Oh boy,
<v Speaker 1>against Oscar? Who wouldn't want to see Oscar just murdering
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie McMahon inside the hell in a cell, picking her apart,
<v Speaker 1>limb from limb, showing her what real graps is all about.
<v Speaker 1>Oscar will show the way and this is it. It
<v Speaker 1>all comes down to this, the final match of the evening,
<v Speaker 1>the true main event. We need a good stipulation for this,
<v Speaker 1>one last man standing. Look at Triple H's hair. His
<v Speaker 1>hair is going one way, his body is going another.
<v Speaker 1>In this image. I noticed, by the way, at the
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slim kickoff yesterday he's growing his hair back. Did
<v Speaker 1>you notice that he or at least he's trying to.
<v Speaker 1>He's starting to grow his hair back. Well, since it's
<v Speaker 1>last man standing, I guess we have to start with
<v Speaker 1>the men. John Cena in a last man standing? Was
<v Speaker 1>John Cena ever in a great memorable last man's standing match?
<v Speaker 1>Let's see. I don't know, well the match with Umaga
<v Speaker 1>was last man standing? Or was that? I quit? No,
<v Speaker 1>it was last man's stand No, wait, maybe he was
<v Speaker 1>now I think it was last man standing? Right? The
<v Speaker 1>Royal Rumble match? Oh seven? Is it? Oh seven? Six?
<v Speaker 1>Oh seven? I don't remember anyway, John Cena last man's
<v Speaker 1>standing match, it's not important. Oh my god, someone mentioned
<v Speaker 1>him earlier. It's man Tar who mentioned Mantar earlier? Holy shit?
<v Speaker 1>Look at this John Cena against Mantar and a last
<v Speaker 1>man's standing match, which is impossible for Mantar to win
<v Speaker 1>because he's only half man. He's half man half Tar,
<v Speaker 1>so therefore he's not truly a man. So how can
<v Speaker 1>one win a last man standing match when one is
<v Speaker 1>not truly a man? Look at this fucking thing. You're
<v Speaker 1>gonna tell me that wrestling today is not as good
<v Speaker 1>as it was back then? And look at that image
<v Speaker 1>right there? Are you fucking kidding me. That's right, that's right,
<v Speaker 1>Mantar getting the rub, that's right. We got man. We
<v Speaker 1>didn't get him in super Chat for me. We got
<v Speaker 1>Mantar tonight. Damn it. It's going to be eating an
<v Speaker 1>attitude adjustment, is what he's going to be eating. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>believe that. Oh wait, were we done? Was that our
<v Speaker 1>main event? And fuck it? We'll do one more match?
<v Speaker 1>Why not? I don't even know what I'm talking about.
<v Speaker 1>We'll do what. We're getting a bonus match here. Look
<v Speaker 1>at that, you're getting bonus wrestling here on this card.
<v Speaker 1>I don't give a shit. We're doing one more of course.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, of course we should have ended on that.
<v Speaker 1>We should have ended on John Cena and Mantar. And
<v Speaker 1>now we have to book a Kennel from Hell match.
<v Speaker 1>Where's the British Bulldog when you need him? We already
<v Speaker 1>booked him the Bulldog and a Kennel from Hell match
<v Speaker 1>would kind of makes sense. Oh my god, Kennel from Hell. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Jersey Authentic is really excited about this. Oh next, Spin
<v Speaker 1>is the guest referee, So we are gonna have a
<v Speaker 1>This is like putting a hat on a hat. We
<v Speaker 1>have a stipulation within a stipulation, We're gonna have a
<v Speaker 1>special guest referee for the Kennel from Hell match. So
<v Speaker 1>let's find out who our referee is. Gonna be solo
<v Speaker 1>doing a Tony con over booking tonight, So then we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have a twenty three minute overrun. Is that what
<v Speaker 1>you're saying? Adam Pierce says that Be the Booker uh
<v Speaker 1>is hereby suspendered? Oh my, you know, you know, I
<v Speaker 1>actually think that's a mercy killing. I see that as
<v Speaker 1>a mercy killing. I think Be the Booker just knew
<v Speaker 1>and it knew that it was time to put this
<v Speaker 1>to an end. Yes, yes, Adam Pierce saved us from
<v Speaker 1>the kennel. Thank you. Adam Pierce finally made a a
<v Speaker 1>good decision. Well that was certainly one of the be
<v Speaker 1>the Bookers of all time. A very interesting addition, super
<v Speaker 1>Pony says, is Obsession better than any Halloween sequel? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Of course, Oh you mean all of them? Or just
<v Speaker 1>any of them? There's lots of Halloween sequels. It's better then.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, look, the original Halloween is still you know,
<v Speaker 1>it's in rarefied air. Obsession is better than most, if
<v Speaker 1>not all, of the Halloween sequels like. It's just a
<v Speaker 1>great concept, great acting. I love the way it shot,
<v Speaker 1>the lighting, the music, score, like all of it. It's great,
<v Speaker 1>fucking love it. Favorite movie of the year. Prince Begeta
<v Speaker 1>with a four ninety nine. Being a constant on WWE
<v Speaker 1>television since twenty twenty two, are you surprised they haven't
<v Speaker 1>pulled the trigger on a Logan Poll world title run yet.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if I'm surprised. I think at some
<v Speaker 1>point he will hold a world title in this company,
<v Speaker 1>but he really only signed on as a full time
<v Speaker 1>guy within the past year, and I think that maybe
<v Speaker 1>they were waiting until he made more of a commitment.
<v Speaker 1>Now that he has, I mean, he's injured now, but
<v Speaker 1>now that he has, it certainly opens up the possibility
<v Speaker 1>of that happening a lot sooner. So I'm not surprised.
<v Speaker 1>I do still think it's gonna happen at some point.
<v Speaker 1>Mike says, what pisses me off more than the bloodline
<v Speaker 1>is that these moron fans keep cheering for them when
<v Speaker 1>they are clearly the heels in this story. Get a clue, people, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they're chanting OTC over every LA Night promo they cheer
<v Speaker 1>La Night, except when he disses Roman and then they
<v Speaker 1>chant otc otc EJ says, Ridley Scott's my favorite director.
<v Speaker 1>At his best, he's in all time grade at his worst,
<v Speaker 1>absolute disasters. Is he in your top ten? I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>probably not. I don't have a ranked top ten, so
<v Speaker 1>I can't say for sure if he is. Maybe he's
<v Speaker 1>on the bottom part of it. Why do some people
<v Speaker 1>defend Barry Bonds because quote, everyone used steroids, but call
<v Speaker 1>Lance Armstrong a fraud when cycling was just as doped.
<v Speaker 1>I mean there were people out there who will trash
<v Speaker 1>both of them equally. I mean I can't speak to
<v Speaker 1>the people who defend one and out the other, probably
<v Speaker 1>because one one is their favorite and the other isn't,
<v Speaker 1>or on one was one was an asshole? Actually, I
<v Speaker 1>mean they both kind of had a referre be in
<v Speaker 1>an asshole. But it's funny to look at Bonds now though. Look,
<v Speaker 1>he's one hundred pounds, so can what Our prince just
<v Speaker 1>bought my tickets to High Intensity, taking a date who
<v Speaker 1>has never been to a wrestling show. Hopefully she enjoys.
<v Speaker 1>I think she'll love it. High Intensity, baby h O
<v Speaker 1>g Hog. I think the first four rows are sold out.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if we're adding a fifth, but general
<v Speaker 1>admission is still available. It's gonna be a packed, packed house.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna be on YouTube, is going to be packed
<v Speaker 1>in the building. I can't wait. August seventh, Hat of
<v Speaker 1>Discipline again, Thank you for the thirty dollars. Mento drop
<v Speaker 1>always puts a smile on my face. Mike says, you
<v Speaker 1>want to make Oba into a superhuman babyface, have him
<v Speaker 1>destroy Brock like Brock destroyed Sena in twenty fourteen. And
<v Speaker 1>why do they keep trying to get Austin theory over.
<v Speaker 1>It's not happening. Yeah, it's not happening. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>that destroying Brock in Minneapolis, though, is going to be
<v Speaker 1>the right move, because I don't know what the reaction
<v Speaker 1>is going to be. It's probably going to be pretty
<v Speaker 1>favorable to Brock when he comes out, and so they
<v Speaker 1>may not react kindly to that. If you're trying to
<v Speaker 1>create some super over babyface, maybe don't do that in Minneapolis.
<v Speaker 1>Just a suggestion, UH reconson with fifty six months of
<v Speaker 1>channel membership, can't believe I turned thirty today. WWE needs
<v Speaker 1>to hurry up on what night Brock is so I
<v Speaker 1>can get my ticket. Lol. Yeah, they still haven't mentioned
<v Speaker 1>who's on what night. We still don't have dates for
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania next year. We know what month it's going to be,
<v Speaker 1>we still have no dates for WrestleMania. It's July. That's insane,
<v Speaker 1>bred Heart with fifty two months solo monster whispering wrestling
<v Speaker 1>promos solos ASMR? Should I be doing ASMR content with
<v Speaker 1>that good views on YouTube? Would that speed me up
<v Speaker 1>to one hundred thousand subscribers? Because I'm on the cusp
<v Speaker 1>of ninety three, I'm not getting there fast enough. Should
<v Speaker 1>I do ASMR content? Raw was total garbage tonight? Just
<v Speaker 1>a terrible, terrible show. I didn't feel anything watching this
<v Speaker 1>show tonight, very very bad, super pony. Am I crazy
<v Speaker 1>to say the current product is worse than twenty eighteen
<v Speaker 1>to early twenty twenty two. The shows were awful back then,
<v Speaker 1>but at least I felt something. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>it was, but it was something. I feel dead inside
<v Speaker 1>watching these shows. I can't say it's worse than COVID
<v Speaker 1>because that will always be the worst to me. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>there were aspects of that era that were fun, like
<v Speaker 1>when they did some cinematic stuff. But wrestling in front
<v Speaker 1>of nobody is just like, I have no desire to
<v Speaker 1>ever go back and rewatch that stuff like that stuff
<v Speaker 1>has no replay value to me whatsoever. You gotta have
<v Speaker 1>fans in the building. I can't say this is worse
<v Speaker 1>than that, but whatever they're doing now, man, it is
<v Speaker 1>just it's fucking awful. It's just hard to sit through.
<v Speaker 1>It just feels so empty, like a shell. You crack
<v Speaker 1>it open, there's nothing inside. Darth Panic. With fifty months
<v Speaker 1>of membership, thank you all the new members that have
<v Speaker 1>signed up. And we had a bunch of gifted ones
<v Speaker 1>over the last few weeks where you could always gift
<v Speaker 1>memberships as well. They get us signed randomly, but that
<v Speaker 1>helps the channel out and probably puts a smile on
<v Speaker 1>someone's face that they wake up and they're like, holy shit,
<v Speaker 1>I got a green name on the channel. Somebody gifted
<v Speaker 1>me a membership, I got an icon of badge next
<v Speaker 1>to my name. Now I got a skull can make
<v Speaker 1>their day. E J Slamp The worst Michael Cole call
<v Speaker 1>will always be. I forgot about that one box like structure.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, WrestleMania thirty seven. Yes, that I think
<v Speaker 1>I ranted on that in my review. I'm like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he called it a it's a box like structure. I'm like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know what that is. It's a fucking box OURDH.
<v Speaker 1>Why isn't TNT on your channel? No offense to him,
<v Speaker 1>it's his show. I mean it's our show technically, but
<v Speaker 1>created on that channel. That's where it belongs. Devin says,
<v Speaker 1>could Vince Russo pull off ASMR? Absolutely not, Super Pony
<v Speaker 1>pray for Chad and Penta's match to not be on ESPN.
<v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure that's not going to be one of
<v Speaker 1>the matches that they will put on ESPN. Can't say
<v Speaker 1>for sure, but I'm pretty sure. I wouldn't be shocked
<v Speaker 1>if they wanted to open Night two with the Hell
<v Speaker 1>and a Cel between Oba and Brock on ESPN. In fact,
<v Speaker 1>I'm almost positive they're going to want Oba and Brock
<v Speaker 1>on ESPN. So take your pick on which night, and
<v Speaker 1>they probably open with it because if they're going to
<v Speaker 1>close with the championship matches, it's all about you either
<v Speaker 1>open or you close. If you're not on last, ye're
<v Speaker 1>on first. I've heard Paul Hayman say that before I
<v Speaker 1>would think Helen a Sale is going to open up
<v Speaker 1>maybe night two, and Mike says, my Brewers beat your Mets, sorry,
<v Speaker 1>so they have nothing to apologize for. The Mets are
<v Speaker 1>fucking terrible, and I think that I think I got
<v Speaker 1>through all of them. I think that's all the messages.
<v Speaker 1>You guys killed it tonight. I love it. Three rounds
<v Speaker 1>of be the Booker, a lot of great messages and questions,
<v Speaker 1>but I think the line of the night has to
<v Speaker 1>be has to be Shit Show as the real name
<v Speaker 1>of the big show Miz Tag Team. That is just priceless.
<v Speaker 1>I love that. Speaking of TNT, I will be live
<v Speaker 1>with jd Over on his channel tomorrow night for a
<v Speaker 1>brand new installment of Tuesday Night Titans. But before that,
<v Speaker 1>earlier in the evening, a new episode will be dropping
<v Speaker 1>of the Uncrowned Wrestling Show, so talking some of the
<v Speaker 1>key news of the week, fallout from Saturday nights, made
<v Speaker 1>event redemption predictions, and then a bunch of stuff that
<v Speaker 1>was not covered on the sound off. Sure I'll get
<v Speaker 1>some news on Seamus as well, and a few other
<v Speaker 1>things to dive into there. So that will be the
<v Speaker 1>Tuesday Shows and then the next time I'm live on
<v Speaker 1>this channel with you will be the Dynamite Post Show
<v Speaker 1>on Wednesday. We missed Dynamite Live last week. We should
<v Speaker 1>be back in the saddle again on Wednesday, so that
<v Speaker 1>is where I will see you guys. Hopefully I'll see
<v Speaker 1>you all over the channel this week. I got other
<v Speaker 1>content going up to including tomorrow. Be well, stay safe,
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for all the love and support. Hit that
<v Speaker 1>like button on your way out. Let's get this into
<v Speaker 1>the algorithm so other people can tune in, and I'll
<v Speaker 1>be back with you on Wednesday for the Dynamite Post Show.
<v Speaker 1>Until then, take care, guys.
