<v Speaker 1>Jeremy, Katy and Josh makes one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Jeremy Katie Josh Emmers makes one hundred. Getting things rocking
<v Speaker 2>and rolling here for a Wednesday Morning with JKJ. It
<v Speaker 2>is Wednesday, right, It sure is hom day.
<v Speaker 3>Uh.
<v Speaker 2>There is a local weather forecaster that always makes me
<v Speaker 2>laugh because she never knows what day of the week
<v Speaker 2>it is as I listen to the local news as
<v Speaker 2>I drive into work every day, this one specific channel
<v Speaker 2>and just to kind of get caught up on what
<v Speaker 2>happened overnight, what's going on. So we're you know, in
<v Speaker 2>the know. And every morning she's like, hey, good morning,
<v Speaker 2>Happy Wednesday, everybody. We're just starting the day, kicking things
<v Speaker 2>off on a.
<v Speaker 1>Thursday, just making sure you.
<v Speaker 2>Know that single daylight clock work. And I'm like, oh
<v Speaker 2>my goodness, somebody get that poor girl a calendar.
<v Speaker 1>Put it on the teleprompter, just let it, put it on.
<v Speaker 2>Come on, it's going to be a hot one on this.
<v Speaker 1>Monday, and that one you should know.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, just got back to work rightday this one Monday. Anyway,
<v Speaker 2>Let's have some fun today with JKJ, including seven thirty
<v Speaker 2>today with our very hot prize up for grabs. Sold
<v Speaker 2>out tickets to go see mister Benson Boone at Ballerina.
<v Speaker 2>All part of Mix one one hundreds All Access Summer,
<v Speaker 2>brought to you by mister Ruders. So set those reminders
<v Speaker 2>in your phone for seven thirty. Let's have some fun
<v Speaker 2>today with JKJ Hi, guys, good morning girl. Hey, so
<v Speaker 2>the best part of my morning has already happened before
<v Speaker 2>Josh came in today.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, here, let me.
<v Speaker 2>Give you a quick backstory. We had this big topic
<v Speaker 2>yesterday about Josh sharing his password with his girlfriend. Of
<v Speaker 2>went off about things, and I think we said some
<v Speaker 2>things that could potentially jeopardize the relationship.
<v Speaker 4>She's an avid listener and.
<v Speaker 2>Really really upset her. So before Josh came in, I
<v Speaker 2>looked at Katie really quick and I said, hey, Josh,
<v Speaker 2>his girlfriend broke up with him last night.
<v Speaker 5>I don't say anything, and I am gullible as the
<v Speaker 5>day is long. Oh my god, I know, I go.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, she just like, don't bring it up. And oddly enough,
<v Speaker 2>Josh got here and he was very quiet, and he
<v Speaker 2>put his stuff down and he went into a little
<v Speaker 2>side editing room we have and didn't really talk. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and so it kind of made sense for Katie.
<v Speaker 1>So I wiped down. His whole work space is.
<v Speaker 6>Very I walked in and she's like all over not me,
<v Speaker 6>but like my space, and she's like.
<v Speaker 4>Things down. I'm like, I'm like, you haven't done this
<v Speaker 4>in a while, thank you.
<v Speaker 2>And then she went on toto the instagrams and she's like,
<v Speaker 2>oh my god, I just noticed that his girlfriend like
<v Speaker 2>blocked us and unfollowed us and everything she's not following.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I let this go for a couple of minutes, and
<v Speaker 2>then I was like, hmmm, I go, Katie, I just
<v Speaker 2>want to let you know. I was joking about that,
<v Speaker 2>but I go, my gut is telling me. I feel
<v Speaker 2>like something actually might be wrong because Josh is quiet
<v Speaker 2>in the next room. The girlfriend blocked us. I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>maybe something did happen last night, so listen. I was
<v Speaker 2>just joking, but something might have happened, something went down,
<v Speaker 2>So Josh, Josh is everything okay, alright.
<v Speaker 4>Is totally fine.
<v Speaker 6>What a lot of people do now, and what you
<v Speaker 6>guys noticed is that a lot of people do like
<v Speaker 6>the social media purge. And she just decided to take
<v Speaker 6>a month off, which I think is really healthy, is
<v Speaker 6>really good. However, that was the perfect storm, and that
<v Speaker 6>was so funny because I came back in and you
<v Speaker 6>both were like, are.
<v Speaker 2>You good last night?
<v Speaker 4>What are you talking about?
<v Speaker 2>Your girlfriend?
<v Speaker 5>Here?
<v Speaker 2>The show?
<v Speaker 7>Fine?
<v Speaker 4>Everything's good, though, totally fine. We love each other so much.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, Well, damn it. I wish now that I hadn't
<v Speaker 2>given up on the prank for you, Katie. Don't talk
<v Speaker 2>about it. You have me going the poor little heartbroken.
<v Speaker 2>Ella Langley there hul part of Denver's Best Music. Ella's
<v Speaker 2>on her Dandelion tour right now and people have noticed
<v Speaker 2>that there's this giant trailer in the parking lot of
<v Speaker 2>all of her events that is promoting an energy drink.
<v Speaker 2>I guess it's hers. She's got a new energy drink
<v Speaker 2>coming out. I don't know if it's got a good
<v Speaker 2>name or not, though I wonder if it stands for
<v Speaker 2>something that I'm just not aware of.
<v Speaker 1>What is it?
<v Speaker 2>Bum energy? Bum?
<v Speaker 1>Well?
<v Speaker 2>Bum, I got that bum energy going on.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of honey.
<v Speaker 2>It's got no sugar, it's peaches and honey flavor and
<v Speaker 2>there's an orange floral design on the can. But anyway,
<v Speaker 2>it's called bum energy, Uh stand for something? That's the thing.
<v Speaker 1>Are you seeing anything on them? Let's see yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I don't even know what that would stand for, but
<v Speaker 2>all I can think of his booty and then I
<v Speaker 2>can't out of you for an acronym.
<v Speaker 5>It comes from a nickname from its creator, professional bodybuilder
<v Speaker 5>Chris Bumstead goes by Sea Bum, which is why it's that,
<v Speaker 5>and I guess she tagged onto it.
<v Speaker 2>Should just be Chris energy. I know, like bum energy,
<v Speaker 2>like thin.
<v Speaker 5>It's so funny to me that there were that many
<v Speaker 5>adults in a room and they're.
<v Speaker 2>Like, yeah, boom the one.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, let's go with that.
<v Speaker 2>Go to the club and give me some of that
<v Speaker 2>bum energy, if you know what I'm saying. Yeah, anyway,
<v Speaker 2>shout out to Langley, She's got a lot of energy.
<v Speaker 2>Right now, it's Jeremy Katie Josh makes one hundred every day.
<v Speaker 2>We like to bring you a little bit of a
<v Speaker 2>sports update. There's a viral video going on right now
<v Speaker 2>where an older Chicago Cubs fan apparently slaps a younger
<v Speaker 2>spectator in the back of the head the remaining seated
<v Speaker 2>during the national anthem at Wrigley Field. The footage is
<v Speaker 2>up there about like seven eight nine million views. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know. The older man is in Cubs gear and
<v Speaker 2>he's appearing to order the younger fan to stand before
<v Speaker 2>whack smacking him right in the back of the head.
<v Speaker 5>That's a sense of pride, right, It's like, show your respects.
<v Speaker 1>That's why he told me.
<v Speaker 2>That's one of the things. The guy did stand up
<v Speaker 2>moments later. But I mean, really, this story is talking
<v Speaker 2>about the First Amendment generally protects individuals from being compelled
<v Speaker 2>to perform patriotic expressions, So it's fully within his right
<v Speaker 2>to sit if he doesn't want to stand. Yeah, And
<v Speaker 2>I think this was just maybe an older guy saying, hey,
<v Speaker 2>chose some respect for your country right now, and he
<v Speaker 2>whacked him. But you can't do well, no.
<v Speaker 1>No, no, you can't exactly do that.
<v Speaker 5>And I think that's the problem everyone has with this,
<v Speaker 5>is that he legitimately reaches out and smacks him in
<v Speaker 5>the back of wap. But it also just rings true
<v Speaker 5>that when people get older, they don't give a crap.
<v Speaker 1>Gave zero craps, zero f's.
<v Speaker 2>Were in that day. But you know what, you know,
<v Speaker 2>sometimes you need that older generation telling the younger generation
<v Speaker 2>to show just saying yeah, I'm just saying maybe.
<v Speaker 1>A little less violently, maybe a little.
<v Speaker 2>Lighter slap is very sensitive. He did have a good
<v Speaker 2>head of hair.
<v Speaker 1>It's okay, that.
<v Speaker 2>Cry room or something. He'll figure it out, all right, Josh,
<v Speaker 2>what else you got?
<v Speaker 4>Snap? Well?
<v Speaker 6>Hey, I want to talk about the World Lumberjack Championships.
<v Speaker 6>Those are held in Wisconsin every single year, and I
<v Speaker 6>see a lot of those highlight videos. I don't know
<v Speaker 6>how much a World Lumberjack Championship that you guys watch,
<v Speaker 6>but I see the highlight videos of the things that
<v Speaker 6>the men do, and it's it's the log roll that
<v Speaker 6>you see where they fall off into the pond if
<v Speaker 6>they can't keep up, or where they chopped down a
<v Speaker 6>tree essentially in like ten seconds, which is crazy. But
<v Speaker 6>I want to talk about the women because the women
<v Speaker 6>compete in this competition and have ever since its inception,
<v Speaker 6>and it's now starting to expand to over twenty categories
<v Speaker 6>that the women can compete in, and so over the weekend,
<v Speaker 6>three national championship competitions were broken and shattered these records
<v Speaker 6>in Hayward, Wisconsin.
<v Speaker 4>And I don't really.
<v Speaker 6>Want to even try to attempt these women's names because
<v Speaker 6>they come from the Czech Republic. Krolina, I believe, is
<v Speaker 6>one of them. She set two world records, and she
<v Speaker 6>earned the world's women's underhand chop Jeremy cutting through eleven
<v Speaker 6>inches Jeremy of White Pine, which I believe was your
<v Speaker 6>high school nickname in twenty seconds.
<v Speaker 2>Jokes in there, but we'll just keep moving along.
<v Speaker 6>She also came in first in the women's standing chop,
<v Speaker 6>cutting through nine inches Jeremy of White Pine in nineteen seconds. Wow.
<v Speaker 6>Meredith ing Bretson of Hayward, She's a native to Hayward, Wisconsin.
<v Speaker 6>Also set the world record in the women's boom run,
<v Speaker 6>which I love the name of that, the women's boom
<v Speaker 6>ram sprinting across the water on a log in back
<v Speaker 6>and over with red cedar logs in thirteen seconds.
<v Speaker 2>She ran across water. Who has you've ever been to
<v Speaker 2>Knotsbury Farm? Can do that all day long?
<v Speaker 4>Is that what you do on your weekends? Either way,
<v Speaker 4>it's giving a whole new thing to women, saying why
<v Speaker 4>do you think a man can do? I can do better?
<v Speaker 4>So shouting set in three world records.
<v Speaker 2>You know they're jacked too. Yeah, absolutely, that's a lady.
<v Speaker 2>You do not want to get in a fight with.
<v Speaker 2>What's blowing up?
<v Speaker 1>We've got received, We've got drummers. We've got Denver talking.
<v Speaker 4>It's the mile high height.
<v Speaker 5>Where the JKJ legends and icons on makes one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Well, some of the big celebrity talk yesterday is coming
<v Speaker 2>out of Tat's and Travis's wedding. Some stuff is starting
<v Speaker 2>to leak out now, and I guess one of the
<v Speaker 2>things that did leak was that Taylor and Travis performed
<v Speaker 2>a musical duet during the wedding.
<v Speaker 4>It's kind of weird.
<v Speaker 2>Jason Kelsey confirmed the rumor. He said trav can actually sing.
<v Speaker 2>He's always been able to to carry a tune, and
<v Speaker 2>obviously he pales in comparison to some of the other
<v Speaker 2>people singing that night, but he did okay. Now, it's
<v Speaker 2>unclear whether it was like a rehearse performance or maybe
<v Speaker 2>they just did some casual care gotta okay. Jason also
<v Speaker 2>didn't say what song they sang, but it sounds like
<v Speaker 2>those two love birds got up there and sang a
<v Speaker 2>little song.
<v Speaker 4>What do you think they would sing? What duet would
<v Speaker 4>they sing?
<v Speaker 2>Baby Got Back, don't go break in My Home, Anakonda,
<v Speaker 2>Don't want none unless you got buns?
<v Speaker 1>Huh.
<v Speaker 5>You gotta be one of her songs, right like maybe
<v Speaker 5>they sang love story.
<v Speaker 4>She'd be that into herself that she would sing her Oh,
<v Speaker 4>they played.
<v Speaker 1>One of her songs and she walked down the eye
<v Speaker 1>didn't know.
<v Speaker 2>I don't. There's a funny little audio clip going around
<v Speaker 2>this morning where they manipulated Taylor Swift. So when you
<v Speaker 2>listen to this, it's what Taylor Swift sounds like. If
<v Speaker 2>you're not a swiftye you know, like, if you're not
<v Speaker 2>really into Taylor Swift, you don't get it. I'll play
<v Speaker 2>a little bit of it. Dude kissing in the rain
<v Speaker 2>while the train goes to to.
<v Speaker 3>Love to speed fun gotta tickets low or you ruin
<v Speaker 3>your alignment and you spell your coke, steal your coke.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's about right for me. I guess the lyrics
<v Speaker 2>A what do you mean? Yeah, it seems about right.
<v Speaker 2>You should hear the whole thing minutes. That's funny, all right?
<v Speaker 2>What the unnecessary reboot is? This crap? Jennifer Gardner and
<v Speaker 2>Judy greer Are were photographed together on Tuesday yesterday on
<v Speaker 2>the set of Netflix's upcoming thirteen Going on thirty rebooms.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, can't wait.
<v Speaker 2>Why in the world would we need a reboot? Because
<v Speaker 2>to Ruin the original, which is one of my top
<v Speaker 2>ten favorite movies.
<v Speaker 1>Not gonna lie, No, I do like that.
<v Speaker 5>You know, they have a different way of presenting it
<v Speaker 5>to us because both Jennifer and Judy Greer are back.
<v Speaker 5>But then they also have Emily Bader. She's the young lead,
<v Speaker 5>and so it's like somebody else is going through the
<v Speaker 5>same thing, and I believe she has those two ladies
<v Speaker 5>to look up to, at least in my mind.
<v Speaker 2>That's all hilarity.
<v Speaker 3>I can't.
<v Speaker 5>I love Jennifer Garner, I love Judy read.
<v Speaker 1>Extreamly looking forward to this one, just like anchoring?
<v Speaker 2>Why ruin the first one with a stupid sequel?
<v Speaker 1>I'm for it.
<v Speaker 2>Isn't that the one where they do the thriller dance? Yes, yes, see.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, Why ruin that with Maddie?
<v Speaker 2>Why ruin that love?
<v Speaker 4>That is?
<v Speaker 2>It's gonna be what sixteen going on sixty?
<v Speaker 1>They know, well, thirty going on sixty, that's what, good God,
<v Speaker 1>it's got to be.
<v Speaker 5>That is.
<v Speaker 2>You know Ridley Green's going to be on the voice.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I do know that.
<v Speaker 5>I do.
<v Speaker 2>Then how about this Let's get in the wayback machine
<v Speaker 2>nineteen ninety five, Oasis wonderwall. What are the greatest songs
<v Speaker 2>ever made? Right? Yeah, re entered the Billboard Hot one
<v Speaker 2>hundred for the first time since nineteen ninety six. Wow,
<v Speaker 2>all driven by its adoption as the anthem for England's
<v Speaker 2>twenty twenty six FIFA World Cup fans. So that's the
<v Speaker 2>song they picked. I like to play it all their
<v Speaker 2>silly little soccer games, I guess. Anyway, it has jumped
<v Speaker 2>the charts by leaps and bounds, and it's in the
<v Speaker 2>top one hundred. Now get this, The song has now
<v Speaker 2>totaled in the United States one point five billions lifetime streams.
<v Speaker 2>One point five billion streams of this song.
<v Speaker 1>I'm excited.
<v Speaker 2>I can't even comprehend that.
<v Speaker 1>Now the younger generation needs to hear that song.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I might play it came back.
<v Speaker 1>I'm so glad it came back.
<v Speaker 2>I might play it after the hypeier you should. I'll
<v Speaker 2>probably get yelled at what do you mean?
<v Speaker 1>It's trending? It's so popular.
<v Speaker 2>Budding knows that song. One point five billion streams in
<v Speaker 2>the US.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, people know that song from play it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna do it, you should, I'm gonna get today.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna get yelled.
<v Speaker 5>Okay, we're gonna go back to Riley Green a second,
<v Speaker 5>just because he's also at chy in Frontier Days tonight,
<v Speaker 5>so he's gonna be there this evening along with Tray Sadkins.
<v Speaker 5>Just moving on from that, we also have that mud
<v Speaker 5>slide to talk about I seventy in western Colorado. So
<v Speaker 5>the entire stretch of the interstate remains closed. Exit ninety
<v Speaker 5>seven in between Silt and Newcastle, so it's in between
<v Speaker 5>Exit ninety seven and Exit one oh five. But yeah,
<v Speaker 5>Silt and Newcastle is the stretch of highway. But Highway
<v Speaker 5>six was also closed in this area because of all
<v Speaker 5>of the you know stuff on the roadway. I mean,
<v Speaker 5>they had torrential rain and hail flooding the area. It
<v Speaker 5>pushed mud, logs, rocks everything across the roadway, and then.
<v Speaker 1>It overwhelmed the local drainages.
<v Speaker 5>So if you look at the different pictures, there's mud
<v Speaker 5>and stuff all over the rough. Yeah, you can't get
<v Speaker 5>through that. I mean in some parts are saying it's
<v Speaker 5>three feet deep. So they have closed down that statch Like.
<v Speaker 1>Whoa whoa, whoa whoa Why no, whoa whoa whoa.
<v Speaker 2>Whoa whoa whoa.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, it's still closed.
<v Speaker 5>We'll keep an eye on that to see exactly when
<v Speaker 5>I seventy gets back open.
<v Speaker 1>It's causing a mess, it sure, is it?
<v Speaker 2>Sure?
<v Speaker 1>You know what else was a mess this past weekend?
<v Speaker 5>Now, we talked about this earlier this week, where all
<v Speaker 5>of the motor bikes and the e bikes that were
<v Speaker 5>riding in packs of hundreds over the weekend and like
<v Speaker 5>running red lights and doing tricks in the streets. I mean,
<v Speaker 5>it was crazy to see. I saw in person, and
<v Speaker 5>it definitely looked unsafe. Well, now Denver PD they're going
<v Speaker 5>to start cracking down on those e bikes and motorbikes.
<v Speaker 5>They're looking at Douglas County actually, because they just implemented
<v Speaker 5>some new restrictions for inspiration, they require operators of certain
<v Speaker 5>off highway vehicles to one have their driver's licenses. Is
<v Speaker 5>also insurance, and you can get fines of up two
<v Speaker 5>thousand dollars for driving on roads and sidewalks. So another
<v Speaker 5>thing that the Douglas County PD did is parents can
<v Speaker 5>face fines if they knowingly allow their children to ride
<v Speaker 5>unauthorized vehicles.
<v Speaker 1>It looks like Denver might start doing that as well.
<v Speaker 5>Aurora already is finding parents at least two hundred and
<v Speaker 5>fifty bucks for letting a minor use off highway vehicles.
<v Speaker 1>So they are.
<v Speaker 5>Starting to implement some rules when it comes to these vehicles.
<v Speaker 5>If your kid has an e bike or a motorbike,
<v Speaker 5>and you're like, oh little, you know Jackson, he's fine, he's.
<v Speaker 1>Fine on the e bike, he doesn't do anything.
<v Speaker 2>Well, there's requirements too. It's got to be like a
<v Speaker 2>Class three with no pedals. I mean there's requirements except
<v Speaker 2>you get the Class two with pedals. Do your research.
<v Speaker 2>We had to do this with my son who just
<v Speaker 2>got one. And I hate this because all these riff
<v Speaker 2>raft morons are ruining it for the kids who are
<v Speaker 2>actually just out there wanting to get some fresh air,
<v Speaker 2>have some fun, hit some trails and they're responsible. Now,
<v Speaker 2>these kids are ruining it for all the kids like
<v Speaker 2>my son who is he's actually being very courteous on
<v Speaker 2>his bike, and it pisses me off.
<v Speaker 1>And again, you've done the work in order to do
<v Speaker 1>your research.
<v Speaker 2>On what you can and can't give.
<v Speaker 4>So does this have the pedals then?
<v Speaker 2>Ja? Yes, okay, and just even just use class too.
<v Speaker 5>Being able to have that conversation with your kid because
<v Speaker 5>you can say one thing and then they can go
<v Speaker 5>out with their friends and meet up for one of
<v Speaker 5>these ride alongs here because they're organizing all this stuff
<v Speaker 5>on social media. So just be sure you know what
<v Speaker 5>your kids are doing, because you can face that fine
<v Speaker 5>as well. And then let's make it a little more
<v Speaker 5>lighthearted because we have the world's largest bounce house coming
<v Speaker 5>to Denver. What it's called the mother in Law's already here,
<v Speaker 5>Jeremy goodness, Big Bounce America. It's home to the world's
<v Speaker 5>largest bounce house. It's bringing this high energy experience to Denver.
<v Speaker 5>It's going to be out at Denver Coliseum in the
<v Speaker 5>parking lot. And I love it because it's like fifty
<v Speaker 5>thousand square feet of inflatable intractions to.
<v Speaker 2>Get any bike in there for everybody.
<v Speaker 5>It's designed for all ages, so you can be you know, younger, bigger, adults.
<v Speaker 1>Everyone can jump back to join the fun. No, it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't matter you're big, you can be big live music, laughter,
<v Speaker 1>and unforgettable fun for all memories. So I'm just so
<v Speaker 1>excited about this.
<v Speaker 5>It's going to be August twenty second through the twenty
<v Speaker 5>third at Denver Coliseum. Is have the world's largest bounce
<v Speaker 5>out you come into Denver.
<v Speaker 1>So there you go. There's your mom high hype.
<v Speaker 2>There's your hype. All right, let's do it. I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>play use some Oasis Wonderwall. This thing has. This song
<v Speaker 2>has not been on the Billboard Hot one hundred since
<v Speaker 2>nineteen ninety six, but it is jumping the charts like
<v Speaker 2>crazy because England was playing it during the FIFA World
<v Speaker 2>Cup and now it has hit one point five billion
<v Speaker 2>lifetime streams here in the United States, and it truly
<v Speaker 2>is one of the best songs ever made. Jared, You,
<v Speaker 2>Katy and Josh six one hundred. A horrible, horrible, horrible
<v Speaker 2>text message from my sister yesterday.
<v Speaker 1>What did it say?
<v Speaker 2>Like? When I saw it, I literally went oh oh,
<v Speaker 2>and then I went, oh no, get me to read
<v Speaker 2>the first sentence. Yes, hey, mom wants to get family
<v Speaker 2>photos done this year.
<v Speaker 5>Oh no, I really thought something was wrong.
<v Speaker 4>That's worse than a break. What are you, Katie?
<v Speaker 2>What's one of the worst messages you can get? And
<v Speaker 2>then from there on there was a group text started
<v Speaker 2>amongst me, my sister and her family, my parents, and
<v Speaker 2>it's been non stop fighting in regards to the family
<v Speaker 2>photos this year. How much it costs. Where are we
<v Speaker 2>gonna go get it done? What is everybody gonna wear?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, because you have to be like match.
<v Speaker 2>Non stop anxiety about this entire thing. Not to mention
<v Speaker 2>it's stupid. Why do we gotta do this? It's stupid.
<v Speaker 1>I know it's because these moments go by so quick.
<v Speaker 5>Especially I can totally imagine your mom and your dad
<v Speaker 5>they want to immortalize this moment because when you're young
<v Speaker 5>and you have your kids in the house, that can
<v Speaker 5>seem like the longest stretch of your time.
<v Speaker 1>But in reality, take it from somebody who's looking back
<v Speaker 1>on that point in their life, it goes by so quick.
<v Speaker 1>So I get it where they are.
<v Speaker 2>I'm familiar with time. Yes, I ain't got time for this.
<v Speaker 1>You need to more. You need to get a picture.
<v Speaker 1>Here's what I'll give you.
<v Speaker 2>Some tis give a picture.
<v Speaker 5>Do the white T shirt with the like when I'm
<v Speaker 5>wearing right now, white T shirt and jeans.
<v Speaker 1>That's perfect for family pictures. Every family overall, everybody wear.
<v Speaker 2>It's the dumbest thing when you walk into somebody's house
<v Speaker 2>and you see that that goofy picture about the fireplace
<v Speaker 2>where everybody's wearing matchie match pants and everything. It's the
<v Speaker 2>dumbest thing. And I know you've probably got into your.
<v Speaker 4>House, dude.
<v Speaker 6>So my family, uh, it was my last year of
<v Speaker 6>high school, so senior year. They wanted to do it
<v Speaker 6>because they're like, oh, our kids are growing up. My
<v Speaker 6>sister was already in college and we all decided to
<v Speaker 6>wear black because we did the MATCHI matchie and because
<v Speaker 6>of that, me, Jake and my younger sister Haley all
<v Speaker 6>look like we're floating heads, all.
<v Speaker 4>Floating head picture and it's immortalized.
<v Speaker 2>It's stupid and stage crew in high school where they
<v Speaker 2>have to they're all black. It's so dumb.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody you're their favorite band T shirt.
<v Speaker 2>And of course it's like, let's do it in Greeley.
<v Speaker 2>My photographer is like, Greely, Okay, well, don't come with
<v Speaker 2>your Greely nonsense.
<v Speaker 1>There's way better.
<v Speaker 2>Golden.
<v Speaker 5>There's how many mountain peaks are we near go to? Like,
<v Speaker 5>don't go to Greeley.
<v Speaker 2>She's got small children. Their outfits and everything are going
<v Speaker 2>to be literally destroyed by the time they make it
<v Speaker 2>to Greeley. You know how much like urine and boogers
<v Speaker 2>will be all over those kids.
<v Speaker 1>You don't put those outfits ontil you get there.
<v Speaker 2>No, no, no, believe me, I've gotten the messages. Well,
<v Speaker 2>we only have a certain amount of time. We're on
<v Speaker 2>a time crunch. We can't be wandering around red Rocks
<v Speaker 2>trying to find the most perfect spot.
<v Speaker 1>Well you you can't. You you know case the joint beforehand,
<v Speaker 1>you get the spine exactly. You just make sure you
<v Speaker 1>know what you're doing.
<v Speaker 2>She goes, send me GPS coordinates of where you want
<v Speaker 2>to do it. So I sent her the GPS coordinates.
<v Speaker 2>The south was plasma.
<v Speaker 4>That's good, the zoomy then that set off.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, let's all go stand in front of.
<v Speaker 4>The hot topic.
<v Speaker 1>No, I'm for this, I thought, Yes, you need to
<v Speaker 1>see what.
<v Speaker 2>You can go in my place, We'll have this random
<v Speaker 2>family photo in my parents' house with all the entire
<v Speaker 2>family and then Katie in the middle with a smile
<v Speaker 2>and a goofy thumbs like this idea. So we came
<v Speaker 2>in this morning and Katie showed us her a little
<v Speaker 2>Instagram post and she's like, isn't this beautiful?
<v Speaker 8>Yes?
<v Speaker 2>And it was literally just pitch black, and a couple
<v Speaker 2>of street lights were like, what is this?
<v Speaker 4>I can't see it?
<v Speaker 5>It's because it's been so hot out. I've been running before,
<v Speaker 5>you know, the show. So I get up and first
<v Speaker 5>thing I do in the morning is go on my
<v Speaker 5>two mile run. I mean I'm talking get up, take
<v Speaker 5>pajamas off, put workout clothes on, and leave.
<v Speaker 1>It's like that. So it is.
<v Speaker 2>What time in the morning is that three ten in the.
<v Speaker 1>Morning and I go on my two mile run and yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so I just it's so peaceful, it's so cool.
<v Speaker 5>I tried last week to go on runs after the show,
<v Speaker 5>and those ninety degreess, Oh my good.
<v Speaker 1>It's just almost impossible.
<v Speaker 5>I had to stop so many times under the shade
<v Speaker 5>just to regain my composure so I didn't faint right there.
<v Speaker 5>So yeah, so I was like, well, maybe I'll start
<v Speaker 5>doing it before the show so it can still be cool.
<v Speaker 5>I can get my run in and feel good about it.
<v Speaker 5>And I'm telling you game Changer, like, it makes me
<v Speaker 5>feel so good.
<v Speaker 2>I worry for your safety though, that earlier in the morning,
<v Speaker 2>you're running around in the pitch black. Uh, single female
<v Speaker 2>out in the wild. You be careful.
<v Speaker 5>No, It's funny though, because when you guys mention that,
<v Speaker 5>I feel like you're worried about somebody else coming up
<v Speaker 5>to me and causing me harm.
<v Speaker 2>Right be, there's bears out here.
<v Speaker 1>There are there's bears.
<v Speaker 5>And it's funny because one of our sales guys shout
<v Speaker 5>out to Bruce. He's the only one who mentioned, are
<v Speaker 5>you carrying bear spray with you? Like he was the
<v Speaker 5>only one who was worried about the annual aspect. And
<v Speaker 5>I do just so you know, I'm running around with
<v Speaker 5>pepper spray right there on my running pack, and so
<v Speaker 5>I'm ready. I wish somebody would I'm just kidding. I
<v Speaker 5>don't I don't wish what happens.
<v Speaker 2>Is some street tough comes out and tries to get you.
<v Speaker 1>That paper spray.
<v Speaker 4>I don't think that's enough.
<v Speaker 2>A false sense of security. Uh, that is not going
<v Speaker 2>to stop anybody.
<v Speaker 5>Because you're stopping people in their tracks.
<v Speaker 2>There's multiple YouTube videos and I've seen all sorts of
<v Speaker 2>stuff about if you've got somebody coming at you in
<v Speaker 2>the heat of the moment and you nail them with
<v Speaker 2>pepper spray, a lot of the times they just keep coming.
<v Speaker 2>If you're a police officer and you got a guy
<v Speaker 2>coming at you with a knife and you shoot him,
<v Speaker 2>he'll still keep coming after you. Sometimes there's a great
<v Speaker 2>video going around right now too, where there's this guy
<v Speaker 2>talking to these women on some back trail somewhere and
<v Speaker 2>they feel threatened by him. Okay, whatever, I don't know
<v Speaker 2>the backstory of the video. Whatever. Anyway, it turns out
<v Speaker 2>there's a moment in the video where one of the
<v Speaker 2>girls grabs her bear spray and straight up blast the
<v Speaker 2>guy in the face with the bear spray and he
<v Speaker 2>keeps coming at him, talking, waving his fishing pull at
<v Speaker 2>him like, he just keeps coming at him. It's not
<v Speaker 2>full proof. I would get an I'd get a machete.
<v Speaker 5>Oh, Taser's a good idea, but I've been convinced pepper
<v Speaker 5>spray slash bear.
<v Speaker 2>Spray is it? And watch the videos on the tasers
<v Speaker 2>of guys with the adrenaline going coming at you. Police
<v Speaker 2>officers pop those guys with the tasers and they keep
<v Speaker 2>coming at you. So I'm just really concerned for you.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like this could happen during the day.
<v Speaker 2>I think you need none.
<v Speaker 1>I I can't carry all this in my hip.
<v Speaker 2>Back got tom like an old time gangster. I didn't
<v Speaker 2>I want you to go well the Tommy guy. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>but I don't know. I don't know what this. I
<v Speaker 2>would need somebody from law enforcement to reach out, but
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what this. If the pepper spray really
<v Speaker 2>stops somebody or just pisses them off.
<v Speaker 1>No, I think I'm doing okay.
<v Speaker 5>I honestly I am so. I don't want to live
<v Speaker 5>my life afraid of what can happen. I'm being safe.
<v Speaker 5>I'm making sure and even where I'm running the street
<v Speaker 5>lights right, I mean.
<v Speaker 2>Well, it's easier to mug you and they can see
<v Speaker 2>the mugging.
<v Speaker 1>I just I need to get that run in.
<v Speaker 2>I do.
<v Speaker 1>It makes me feel so much better. It clears my head.
<v Speaker 2>You have a treadmill, you have access to your comp
<v Speaker 2>a treadmill.
<v Speaker 1>That's silly, Like I don't think.
<v Speaker 2>Even out running at three am on a dark path.
<v Speaker 5>I know it's not that I think it's fine. I
<v Speaker 5>think it's fine. I'm doing all the things I.
<v Speaker 1>Need to do to stay safe. And yeah, I really
<v Speaker 1>I'm in a safer neighborhood. Like I think it's.
<v Speaker 4>Fine anners out there with you ever.
<v Speaker 1>A person out there in the streets.
<v Speaker 2>But why do I feel like, why do I have
<v Speaker 2>on in the heat of the moment? Probably pull that
<v Speaker 2>pepper spray out and it would be facing the wrong
<v Speaker 2>direction and you'd fire it off right now.
<v Speaker 1>It's foolproof. It's foolproof. You can't fire it back.
<v Speaker 2>It'd be one of those situations where you start firing
<v Speaker 2>it and then you're like running at the same time
<v Speaker 2>and the wind would catch it, which is face.
<v Speaker 1>You have no faith in me whatsoever?
<v Speaker 2>Don't. I'm pretty logical person, So listen, you can. I
<v Speaker 2>think you can seriously buy a machete at Walmart.
<v Speaker 5>So not carrying a machete on my wronger, but machette's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>Come on.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how we missed this, but yesterday was
<v Speaker 2>National Junk Food Day. How did we miss that?
<v Speaker 1>That's like our favorite we celebrate.
<v Speaker 2>We love junk food. I've got lists of things coming out.
<v Speaker 2>Ohrida has announced the permanent return of their beloved Crispers Fries.
<v Speaker 2>I guess it were discontinued three years ago, so they're
<v Speaker 2>doing that. Can't FC is bringing back their popcorn chickens.
<v Speaker 2>Costco has launched a new summer treat called the Lemon
<v Speaker 2>Blondie Dessert Bars. Applebee's is Chicken wantan Tacos? Now? Dominoes
<v Speaker 2>you can order up a s'mores lava cake. That's now
<v Speaker 2>the dessert menu.
<v Speaker 1>What, oh, I'm so hungry.
<v Speaker 2>Here's the best one that I was reading. Buffalo wild
<v Speaker 2>ring wings.
<v Speaker 3>Huh.
<v Speaker 2>They are launching something called pop and Ranch.
<v Speaker 5>Oh, I saw this and they need to try it.
<v Speaker 5>I saw one of my favorite You try it.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, my popping ranch. It's savory ranch flavored popping candy
<v Speaker 2>like pop rocks, like pop rocks that you sprinkle on
<v Speaker 2>your wings and other menu items. Yes, so as you're
<v Speaker 2>eating your chicken wings, it's there, they're popping in your mouth.
<v Speaker 2>Somebody said, is it is an unexpected sensory experience that
<v Speaker 2>sounds wild and tastes delicious.
<v Speaker 5>That's kind of know what the influencer I watched said
<v Speaker 5>they put it on their chicken tender and they opened
<v Speaker 5>their mouth and.
<v Speaker 1>Was totally silent and you can hear the popping and everything.
<v Speaker 5>And they described it as not as crazy as the candy,
<v Speaker 5>like it doesn't pop as hard, but it's definitely like
<v Speaker 5>mind blowing a little because its savory.
<v Speaker 1>So it's awesome.
<v Speaker 2>How horrible is our health in this country? Has anyone
<v Speaker 2>looked around? Are you reading anything about the health of
<v Speaker 2>this country.
<v Speaker 1>I love it.
<v Speaker 2>They've all got to die. Beat us.
<v Speaker 1>Give me another reason.
<v Speaker 2>Way in Buffalo Wild Wings was like, you know what
<v Speaker 2>we need to do is we need to dump pop
<v Speaker 2>rocks on our chicken wings for people and make it
<v Speaker 2>taste like ranch.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, I need to meet that person. I need to
<v Speaker 5>beat the person who thought this up.
<v Speaker 4>That's your future.
<v Speaker 2>We can't love them body. You get one body in
<v Speaker 2>this lifetime, and this is what you're gonna do it.
<v Speaker 4>Stop with ranch, bro, Yeah, what are you talking about?
<v Speaker 2>Kimmically induced popping ranch on a highly processed chicken wing?
<v Speaker 2>Stop drop and pop it?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah right now?
<v Speaker 2>Is like talk dirty to me more?
<v Speaker 5>Je, No, exactly, tell me more about the popping ranch.
<v Speaker 2>So listen, said, I am a Cheetos slut, So, like,
<v Speaker 2>what is your go to junk food? Like, if you
<v Speaker 2>had the chance, mine is truly gonna be like a
<v Speaker 2>bag of the crunch of Cheetos. I think I could
<v Speaker 2>pop with that bag open and just go to town
<v Speaker 2>and it's gone before I know it.
<v Speaker 5>I like me, it depends on if I'm in a
<v Speaker 5>sweet or savory mood. But if it's savory, it is
<v Speaker 5>potato chips and dip. I could nash a bag of
<v Speaker 5>chips and dip like you wouldn't believe, like taco chips,
<v Speaker 5>like potato chips, blaze and dip like the French onion dip.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, flat out.
<v Speaker 5>I could eat a whole bag, and if it's sweet, gushers.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, if it's sweet, I can hammer gushers.
<v Speaker 1>Eat a whole pack at once.
<v Speaker 2>Sweet would probably be taramasou Okay. I told you guys
<v Speaker 2>a few weeks ago, I was standing in the kitchen
<v Speaker 2>in the middle of the night with the Tara Masoux
<v Speaker 2>on the counter, eating it right.
<v Speaker 4>You with classy sweet tooth.
<v Speaker 2>Ye me Rightak. Katie's over here. What's your jerky? Josh?
<v Speaker 6>I can house beef jerky and it's just so uldra
<v Speaker 6>processed and salty. But I can eat a pack like
<v Speaker 6>the big Olberta packs in four seconds.
<v Speaker 4>And that's why I go to Costco and get himcause
<v Speaker 4>I can get the two pound bags.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I think my other craving generally is tide pods.
<v Speaker 4>Though, so bubbly, so good and you're clean inside five.
<v Speaker 1>The fun starts now with fast five.
<v Speaker 9>Yes, fine, it's times look like fast five five?
<v Speaker 1>How fast?
<v Speaker 2>With Jeremy, Katie and Josh, try how fast can you
<v Speaker 2>be get to that phone to play Fast five. Here's
<v Speaker 2>our phone number if you want to try to make
<v Speaker 2>it in three oh three six nine one one mix.

<v Speaker 2>and start a ten second timer. And within those ten seconds,
<v Speaker 2>you gotta give me five things that have to do
<v Speaker 2>with that category. You think you can pull it off.
<v Speaker 2>Three oh three six nine one one mix, which translates
<v Speaker 2>to three oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine. Katie,
<v Speaker 2>give us some examples. For goodness sakes, you.
<v Speaker 5>Are all over the place when it comes to what
<v Speaker 5>you ask, like five things you'd find in a first
<v Speaker 5>aid box, or five kinds of mustard.
<v Speaker 1>The one that won it yesterday?
<v Speaker 2>Did I do that one?
<v Speaker 1>You did it?
<v Speaker 2>I did five kinds of mustard.
<v Speaker 5>It was a long time ago, but you have done
<v Speaker 5>five types of mustard in the past. The one that
<v Speaker 5>won it yesterday was Catherine coming in strong with five
<v Speaker 5>Doctor Seuss books. Hey, yeah, so you never know what
<v Speaker 5>the category is going to be It's part of the fun.
<v Speaker 2>Well hop on pop listen. Always looking for the newbies.
<v Speaker 2>If you've played like four or five times within the
<v Speaker 2>past couple of weeks, maybe chill bro let some newbies
<v Speaker 2>try to get through. It's a very popular game. Three
<v Speaker 2>oh three six nine one one mix three oh three,
<v Speaker 2>six nine one sixteen vote to nine. And the big
<v Speaker 2>news of the week is what we're playing for.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, you may do a backflip for it, cheery because

<v Speaker 2>of this summer.
<v Speaker 1>I think, yeah, I love him.
<v Speaker 5>Like the last time he was here, he put on
<v Speaker 5>a Nuggets jersey and did say I was like, that's
<v Speaker 5>how you.
<v Speaker 1>Make fans in Denver. Benson.
<v Speaker 2>He's just such a like showman, you know, like the
<v Speaker 2>guy knows how to work the crowd and just be
<v Speaker 2>an entertainer.
<v Speaker 1>He sure does.
<v Speaker 5>So. Yeah, a banger of a prize today tomorrow and Friday.
<v Speaker 2>There you go, five. Try to give us a call.
<v Speaker 2>Three oh three six nine one one mix three oh

<v Speaker 2>newbies today. Hi, Sarah, good morning, welcome to the show.
<v Speaker 2>Good morning, Hey, says you're surviving summer with the kids
<v Speaker 2>on my screen. Oh yeah, well, I was just talking
<v Speaker 2>to my wife, uh nick knack about that last night.
<v Speaker 2>She's like, wow, like school is going to be starting.
<v Speaker 7>Soon, yeah, the twelfth.
<v Speaker 1>Oh goodness, like soon soon forever. Wow.
<v Speaker 2>I was in Walmart and Target this past weekend and
<v Speaker 2>everybody's got their school supplies out. They're all out right now,
<v Speaker 2>and it smells so good. It's the best smell ever.
<v Speaker 2>I do have the new notebooks, new paper crayons. I
<v Speaker 2>love the smell of it. So I picked me up
<v Speaker 2>some crayons, Sarah, and I'm in a color today. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>I can do that, all right, you already do some
<v Speaker 2>fast five.
<v Speaker 10>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Let me pull up my list here because I actually
<v Speaker 2>had to search this one a little bit ago. So
<v Speaker 2>I want to see if you can do this. Your
<v Speaker 2>letter is why, like towards the end of the alphabet,
<v Speaker 2>there the letter why. I need five apps on your phone?
<v Speaker 2>That start with the letter.
<v Speaker 4>Why go.
<v Speaker 7>Yo YouTube?
<v Speaker 2>Come on, you know it's funny with YouTube. There's YouTube, TV, YouTube, TV,
<v Speaker 2>YouTube music, YouTube kids. Yeah, and then Yahoo male Yah Sarah.
<v Speaker 2>It was awfully nice talking to you. You go have
<v Speaker 2>a great.
<v Speaker 10>Day, all right, Thank you you too.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, byea Hi Lisa, Hello, Hello, hey, really quick, everybody.
<v Speaker 2>If you get placed on hold, don't hang up. I
<v Speaker 2>see some of you who get placed on hold and
<v Speaker 2>then you drop off. Don't do that. Three oho three
<v Speaker 2>six nine one sixteen forty nine. My note on the
<v Speaker 2>screen says, Lisa is just working. Are you at work
<v Speaker 2>right now?
<v Speaker 10>I know I'm having to work right now.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, what do you do?
<v Speaker 10>I'm a nurse.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, well, thank you for doing that.
<v Speaker 1>That's good work.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you, thinks She's like, yeah, I get me another time.
<v Speaker 2>People are always sick and have issues. What kind of
<v Speaker 2>nurse are you?
<v Speaker 10>I work in in susion and oncology.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, well, thank you for doing that.
<v Speaker 10>Yeah, thanks, you're welcome.
<v Speaker 2>You're a good human. I don't care what anybody says.
<v Speaker 2>You're good. Are you married? Do you have kids?
<v Speaker 10>I'm married. I have a twenty year old and a
<v Speaker 10>seven almost seventeen year old.
<v Speaker 2>All right, so you're in those later stages.
<v Speaker 10>Please I am. I am.
<v Speaker 2>That's going to feel though too. They're moving on and
<v Speaker 2>it is.
<v Speaker 10>It's it's like bittersweet, you're kind of ready for them
<v Speaker 10>to grow up, but then it goes really fuck.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, yes, we were just talking about that. It's like
<v Speaker 5>the blink of an eye.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. My son is doing driver's head classes right now
<v Speaker 2>where he's like at the at the place all week,
<v Speaker 2>you know, all day long. And he called yesterday on
<v Speaker 2>his lunch break and he's like, hey, I was just
<v Speaker 2>calling him, checking in and I was like, who is this.
<v Speaker 4>Kid on the.
<v Speaker 2>His voice changed and it's all deep.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, oh, I.
<v Speaker 4>Don't want him to grow up.
<v Speaker 10>It's crazy.
<v Speaker 2>It is crazy when especially when he's like, yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 2>just having my lunch. A couple of my buddies are
<v Speaker 2>walking down to the gas station. All right, let's talk
<v Speaker 2>vehicles with you, sweet Lisa.
<v Speaker 10>Okay, is that what I want to do?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, we can do that one in ten seconds. Give
<v Speaker 2>me five different parts of your car's engine.
<v Speaker 10>Go oh my gosh, the piston, the nuts, the exhaust,
<v Speaker 10>the filters, the cap.
<v Speaker 1>No idea, they're capping an engine. I mean the car
<v Speaker 1>guy Jair.
<v Speaker 2>The nuts in the exhaust, isn't there nuts.
<v Speaker 1>Exhaust and an engine?
<v Speaker 2>There's a filter, there's filter, there's your air filter, many
<v Speaker 2>oil filter, there's ol filter. But ca I mean you
<v Speaker 2>got your oil cap in there. You'd have a cap
<v Speaker 2>to your washer fluid.
<v Speaker 10>Yeah, there's so many.
<v Speaker 1>There's nuts. There literally can be nuts in your engine.
<v Speaker 10>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they're saying even if it exhaust is what comes
<v Speaker 2>out of the car. I mean your exhaust pipes. I
<v Speaker 2>guess I could give you maybe that they come off.
<v Speaker 10>The You know that I want to see Benson Boone, Like, tell.
<v Speaker 2>Me, tell me how bad you want to see Benson Boone.
<v Speaker 10>Well, I've been looking at tickets every day, just waiting
<v Speaker 10>for them to drop low enough that I can justify it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 10>even though I could, I'm all enough to be his mom, probably,
<v Speaker 10>but he's still so amazing and I would just love.
<v Speaker 7>To see him.
<v Speaker 2>He's so sexy right with those abs, and he can
<v Speaker 2>do flips. And I've been learning all week that women
<v Speaker 2>love guys that can do flips. I have no idea.
<v Speaker 2>If I'd only known this in high school, Lisa, I
<v Speaker 2>would have been on gymnastics and a hart. I would
<v Speaker 2>have had I would have had the ladies lining knew, Lisa,
<v Speaker 2>I want to I'm going to tell you something. You're lucky,
<v Speaker 2>you know why. I'm in a really good mood today.
<v Speaker 2>You caught me in a good mood today.
<v Speaker 8>Oh my god.
<v Speaker 2>I do have a question for you, though. Do you
<v Speaker 2>know what you're supposed to say to me?
<v Speaker 4>Or ask me?
<v Speaker 2>If you win fast five?
<v Speaker 10>Yes, Jeremy play the line winds down.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'll give you caps and nuts. Wow, you nailed
<v Speaker 2>it for sure. Oh my gosh, yeah, I'll give it
<v Speaker 2>to you.
<v Speaker 1>That's good.
<v Speaker 2>It was all extremely generic, but you know what it
<v Speaker 2>was cute, a good round.
<v Speaker 10>Well, now I can get off seat, geek and all
<v Speaker 10>of the stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, this is gonna be a fun little date night
<v Speaker 2>for you in the hugs.
<v Speaker 8>Oh my gosh.
<v Speaker 10>Yes, yes, my husband, I hope he'll.
<v Speaker 4>Go with me.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, but better Yeah, maybe leave him at
<v Speaker 2>home and grab a girlfriend and go.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 10>Maybe.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 10>You might not enjoy Benson doing as much as I was.
<v Speaker 2>Either way, would you do me a solid and send
<v Speaker 2>us some pictures when you're at the concert to our
<v Speaker 2>text line. It's the same number you called for this,
<v Speaker 2>so text us and we'll repost them on our socials.
<v Speaker 10>Definitely. Oh my god, you just made my day, in
<v Speaker 10>my week, you.
<v Speaker 2>Made our dailysa. You're very sweet. I'm gonna put you
<v Speaker 2>on hold. We'll come back and tell you how to
<v Speaker 2>get those tickets. All right, Okay, thank you, jaredy, Katie
<v Speaker 2>and Josh makes one hundred. I am so happy right now.
<v Speaker 2>I'm so happy. Hap he Man's on Prime Masters of
<v Speaker 2>the Verse.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's on Prime and it's free, Like.
<v Speaker 2>If you have Prime, you can just watch it. I
<v Speaker 2>was watching it during that song.
<v Speaker 4>Are you gonna watch it your hejs today?
<v Speaker 2>He was so happy? Love that? Are you so happy?
<v Speaker 8>Man?
<v Speaker 4>On Prime?
<v Speaker 2>You don't even know. I might just watch that today
<v Speaker 2>for no reason.
<v Speaker 1>I may watch it too.
<v Speaker 4>You should. It's a good movie.
<v Speaker 2>I can't believe nobody went and saw it. It's so
<v Speaker 2>good anyway. That has nothing to do with anything right.
<v Speaker 1>Now, but it makes you happy. So glad we got
<v Speaker 1>to watching it.
<v Speaker 2>On my phone. You sure we're to do this silly
<v Speaker 2>radio show? I know I might playing other songs so
<v Speaker 2>I can keep watching it songs for the rest of
<v Speaker 2>the hour. For the rest of the show. Hey, listen,
<v Speaker 2>coming up right around eight twenty or so, we're gonna
<v Speaker 2>be opening the phone lines and having you guys sound
<v Speaker 2>off and call in about the worst neighbor that you
<v Speaker 2>ever had, all based off a Netflix show that's going
<v Speaker 2>on right now, So be thinking about it if you've
<v Speaker 2>ever had a horrible neighbor in your life. We're definitely
<v Speaker 2>gonna want your calls and comments coming up a little
<v Speaker 2>later here, right around eight twenty or so with JKJ
<v Speaker 2>All right, so what's this Franklin effect? Okay, craving about.
<v Speaker 5>Well, because here's the thing, Like, have you ever been
<v Speaker 5>in the situation where somebody like compliments something you're wearing
<v Speaker 5>or something that you have on right every day and well,
<v Speaker 5>and immediately it's just like you like that person a
<v Speaker 5>little more, just like kind of catches you like a
<v Speaker 5>little bit like huh. Well, Benjamin Franklin, he kind of
<v Speaker 5>thought differently. He thought the exact opposite would work, and
<v Speaker 5>it kind of did. Ben Franklin would ask enemies for
<v Speaker 5>small favors to make them like him. They actually call
<v Speaker 5>it the Franklin effect, and he said stop pleasing people
<v Speaker 5>instead inconvenience them, and that will make them like you.
<v Speaker 1>So here's the story. Behind it.
<v Speaker 5>It was in seventeen thirty seven. He had a very
<v Speaker 5>powerful enemy in Pennsylvania's parliament. Right, so instead of flattering him,
<v Speaker 5>he asked to borrow a rare book from his personal library.
<v Speaker 5>Now the man was surprised, but he said yes, and
<v Speaker 5>a week later they were lifelong friends. This story goes
<v Speaker 5>on to say that they were very close, that this
<v Speaker 5>moment is what brought them together, and he actually cracked
<v Speaker 5>a bug. In human psychology, the person who did you
<v Speaker 5>a favor will do another one.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, they say they try to.
<v Speaker 5>We try and buy our loyalty with gifts and kindness,
<v Speaker 5>but the real currency is requests, not rewards. And it's
<v Speaker 5>pure cognitive dissonance at work.
<v Speaker 2>So the b I could see this.
<v Speaker 1>Here's why.
<v Speaker 5>Because the brain refuses to hold two contradictions at once.
<v Speaker 5>It cannot say I hate him and I helped him.
<v Speaker 5>It results with polic It rewrites the story for you.
<v Speaker 5>It says I helped him, so he must be worth it.
<v Speaker 2>And it makes you feel that, wow, this person came
<v Speaker 2>to me for something. I have something they need to
<v Speaker 2>so it almost feel superior in a way a little bit.
<v Speaker 6>And you're more inclined to help someone again if you've
<v Speaker 6>already helped them one time, as opposed to if someone
<v Speaker 6>keeps asking you for help and you're offering and offering,
<v Speaker 6>you start to kind of despise that person. Where now
<v Speaker 6>if they come to you and ask you for help
<v Speaker 6>and you have helped them that one time, you're more
<v Speaker 6>inclined to do it again. Yea, keep helping that person win.
<v Speaker 6>And Ben Franklin came up with this by doing that
<v Speaker 6>to the enemy. And it's brilliant love is it is?
<v Speaker 5>And if we think about it, like we love people
<v Speaker 5>for the good we did them, and then we resent
<v Speaker 5>people for the harm we cause them. So if you
<v Speaker 5>act like a doormat, you become convenient, useful, but never respected.
<v Speaker 5>So in relationships they say that this plays out without exception,
<v Speaker 5>like people don't value what costs him nothing.
<v Speaker 1>The Ikea effect proves it.
<v Speaker 5>A crooked chair you built yourself feels like a masterpiece,
<v Speaker 5>make people invest action and their perception of you shifts.
<v Speaker 1>So this was just fascinating to me, absolutely fascinating, and
<v Speaker 1>I've tried to It goes against kind of all logic,
<v Speaker 1>it really does. It goes against all logic, but it
<v Speaker 1>makes total sense.
<v Speaker 2>Also, right, it's almost along the lines of the whole
<v Speaker 2>keep your enemies closer, right, Sure, you're actually keeping that
<v Speaker 2>enemy closer by asking them to assist you. They feel
<v Speaker 2>some sort of power in that that they were able
<v Speaker 2>to help you, and also.
<v Speaker 1>Like you asking them signals a type of confidence.
<v Speaker 2>Well it's that, and you're almost like inferior submissive, yes,
<v Speaker 2>an inferior to them, like, oh, well you need something
<v Speaker 2>from me exactly, And it makes you feel that a
<v Speaker 2>little adrenaline.
<v Speaker 4>It puts them on a pedestal.
<v Speaker 6>It makes you kind of think, hey, you know what,
<v Speaker 6>maybe I am better than this person because they're coming
<v Speaker 6>to like they see me as better and then they.
<v Speaker 2>Kind of get to know you, and then things play
<v Speaker 2>out and then you actually are like, you know what,
<v Speaker 2>I kind of like this guy exactly, I hate him,
<v Speaker 2>so we should put his face on money.
<v Speaker 1>You're changing their perception of you.
<v Speaker 5>And it's all very you know, calculated, manipulative almost in
<v Speaker 5>a way.
<v Speaker 2>But I gotta try this. Who do I hate around here?
<v Speaker 2>Isn't that instantly get you thinking about Okay, oh my god, who.
<v Speaker 1>Do I hate?
<v Speaker 2>And who do I get along with? And what can
<v Speaker 2>I ask them for?
<v Speaker 5>No, they're saying like every small request builds a quiet dependency.
<v Speaker 5>Like you said, you know, it's just like they're they help.
<v Speaker 2>Now they're rooting for you, like say you hate I
<v Speaker 2>don't say you hate your office manager at work. Maybe
<v Speaker 2>you go to them and say, hey, can I get
<v Speaker 2>some disinfecting wipes?
<v Speaker 1>Exactly?
<v Speaker 2>Can I get baby steps?
<v Speaker 1>Or maybe could you?
<v Speaker 2>Then before you know it, you're like, hey, can you
<v Speaker 2>watch my dog?
<v Speaker 5>And here's the thing is, maybe not ask them for
<v Speaker 5>something they're already used doing for you, Like our office
<v Speaker 5>manager is already used to doing that for us. Maybe
<v Speaker 5>go to them and say something like, hey, do you
<v Speaker 5>have mail me? Like break down this email? Like I
<v Speaker 5>don't quite under can you help me with this?
<v Speaker 1>You know what I mean? Like you make them feel
<v Speaker 1>like they, like you said, are a little smarter, but
<v Speaker 1>also like they're helping you. And that makes them feel.
<v Speaker 5>Good too, like, well, we help people, it gives us
<v Speaker 5>a feeling of accomplishment, and so they associate that with
<v Speaker 5>you as well, Like I felt really.
<v Speaker 1>Good when I helped them last time.
<v Speaker 4>I do it again. Yeah, so yeah, I just.
<v Speaker 2>Love it, just twisted and I kind of like it,
<v Speaker 2>like it Okay, you're gonna have to really, I think,
<v Speaker 2>work hard at trying to reverse your thinking when it
<v Speaker 2>comes to people that you don't like and you don't
<v Speaker 2>want to be around and you don't want to ask
<v Speaker 2>for help from. You're gonna have to really rewire your
<v Speaker 2>brain to make this work positively.
<v Speaker 4>But that's each party, right, It's a thing.
<v Speaker 2>I think that it works. It's gonna work in a
<v Speaker 2>big way.
<v Speaker 1>It works.
<v Speaker 2>It doesn't negate the fact though, that he still wanted
<v Speaker 2>to make the nation's bird a turkey.
<v Speaker 5>Right.
<v Speaker 1>We can't forget that, Ben. Sorry, we're not gonna let boy.
<v Speaker 2>But this is pretty solid advice. It's pretty good. There
<v Speaker 2>you go, making me a little smarter and a little wiser.
<v Speaker 2>This morning yesterday on the show, I was talking about
<v Speaker 2>a Netflix show that I just started watching and it
<v Speaker 2>really intrigued me, really caught my eye. It's called Worst
<v Speaker 2>Neighbor Ever, and it's a four part docuseriies on Netflix
<v Speaker 2>right now. Here's the titles of the four different episodes.
<v Speaker 2>Number one is she Finally Snapped, And then you go
<v Speaker 2>into Midwest meltdown and to fear Thy Neighbor and then
<v Speaker 2>the Executor and it's all really intense, heavy stuff. When
<v Speaker 2>it comes to the world of Horrible Neighbors. I actually
<v Speaker 2>just finished episode one last night. There was a murder involved.
<v Speaker 1>Oh oh goodness.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, it's really nice, deep but it's a good show.
<v Speaker 2>It's just one of those you're like, how in the
<v Speaker 2>world does this stuff go on out there?
<v Speaker 1>Well, and you can't pick your neighbors.
<v Speaker 5>It's not like they go throughout the community and get
<v Speaker 5>a consensus on people whether they want somebody joining the neighborhood.
<v Speaker 1>It just happens and then you have to deal with it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Like if you're house shopping, you move into a
<v Speaker 2>new hood, you don't know what you're gonna get, you
<v Speaker 2>know around you you really horrible.
<v Speaker 1>Do people check what their neighbors are like before they
<v Speaker 1>buy homes? There is there a way to do that.
<v Speaker 2>I will tell you that when we were looking and
<v Speaker 2>somebody would be outside, like maybe watering their lawn or
<v Speaker 2>their bushes or something, I had no problem wandering up
<v Speaker 2>and saying, hey, how are you. How's the neighborhood complaints? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>a lot of kids on the street. Yeah, and you
<v Speaker 2>kind of get some some dirt. We actually bailed out
<v Speaker 2>of a house that we were going to buy because
<v Speaker 2>we were there for the inspection, and I just happened
<v Speaker 2>to be out front and the next door neighbor was
<v Speaker 2>there and he was out like washing his car or something.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, hey, how ari were you know? We
<v Speaker 2>made an offer and all that. He goes, Oh, it's
<v Speaker 2>a great it's a great house. It's a perfect house.
<v Speaker 2>He's like, the only problem is is well, when it
<v Speaker 2>rains that whole front yard, you should see the bubble
<v Speaker 2>that comes up under the grass. He's like, there's something
<v Speaker 2>about the drainage with that house that the entire front
<v Speaker 2>lawn bubbles up. He's like, you can see it. He's
<v Speaker 2>like I'm like, oh yeah, hey, thanks for that information. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>we actually backed out of that house.
<v Speaker 4>Oh.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't want to deal with the rast bubble, like.
<v Speaker 2>A giant water bubble in my front yard. I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>Jess is just asking for foundation issues exactly. Anyway, that's
<v Speaker 2>not what we're talking about. Foundation issues. We're talking about
<v Speaker 2>horrible neighbors. So if you've ever had one, phone lines
<v Speaker 2>are gonna be wide open right now. Three O three
<v Speaker 2>six' nine to one one mix THREE o three six
<v Speaker 2>nine one sixteen forty. Nine and, yesterday AFTER i talked about,
<v Speaker 2>This netflix, Show tiffany wrote, us and she, Says, Hey,
<v Speaker 2>JERRY i heard you talking about That netflix show about
<v Speaker 2>the worst. Neighbors get, this we have one couple on
<v Speaker 2>our street that we've barely spoken to in six. Years
<v Speaker 2>we realized a few years ago that we don't see
<v Speaker 2>eye to eye. Politically she's, like there was never screaming
<v Speaker 2>or anything like. That we just had different signs in
<v Speaker 2>our yards during election. Season, well ever since, then they
<v Speaker 2>have installed what has to be seven or eight security
<v Speaker 2>cameras around their, property with a lot of them aimed
<v Speaker 2>straight at our. House they even mounted two of them
<v Speaker 2>way up in the trees so they can see over
<v Speaker 2>our fence and into our. Backyard we're being watched, constantly she.
<v Speaker 2>Says she, says also last, FALL i happened to look
<v Speaker 2>out my kitchen window and the husband was blowing leaves
<v Speaker 2>out of his. Yard but instead of bagging him, up
<v Speaker 2>he was angling the leaf, blower so they all ended
<v Speaker 2>up in our yard AND i watched him do it
<v Speaker 2>for about fifteen. Minutes, oh when he was, finished he looked,
<v Speaker 2>around went back in his garage and acted like nothing ever.
<v Speaker 4>Happened she.
<v Speaker 2>Says here's another strange part the husband over there keeps
<v Speaker 2>writing in this little hand written. Notebook he has it
<v Speaker 2>with him all the. Time anytime someone on our street
<v Speaker 2>has company, over or gets a, package has work done
<v Speaker 2>on their, house or parks in front of somebody else's,
<v Speaker 2>house he stands there and writes things, down and then
<v Speaker 2>he sends them all to the h, away these long complaint.
<v Speaker 2>Emails he's documenting. Everything what a weirdo this. Guy she
<v Speaker 2>ends by, Saying i've lived in a lot of neighborhoods
<v Speaker 2>over the. Years i've never lived next to someone who
<v Speaker 2>makes the entire street feel. Uncomfortable loved the show and
<v Speaker 2>As tiffany From, aurora that would get super. Annoying, absolutely
<v Speaker 2>that's a horrible neighbor right. There, yeah it's with the
<v Speaker 2>trees and the cameras up in the.
<v Speaker 1>Trees he must be a heck of a time of.
<v Speaker 1>Parties huh so?
<v Speaker 2>Fun what a Dor. Yeah, anyway we're gonna open up
<v Speaker 2>the phone. Lines you guys can text, us you can call.
<v Speaker 2>In we want to hear about your. Neighbors why are they?
<v Speaker 2>Annoying why are they? Horrible three oh three six nine
<v Speaker 2>one one mix three oh three six nine one sixteen
<v Speaker 2>forty nine do you have any oh, One.
<v Speaker 5>Like as soon as we started talking about, THIS i
<v Speaker 5>went right back to When zoe was a little. Baby
<v Speaker 5>we had a condo In. Arvada so this was one
<v Speaker 5>of those areas where it was four two. Houses rather
<v Speaker 5>they looked identical and they were split into four.
<v Speaker 1>Condos.
<v Speaker 5>Right, yeah in the middle of this area was kind
<v Speaker 5>of like the courtyard for these town. Homes like we
<v Speaker 5>were all like one, community, right and three of us
<v Speaker 5>got along really. Well we had parties, together our kids played,
<v Speaker 5>together and it was so much.
<v Speaker 1>Fun but the one couple and they were in the
<v Speaker 1>house attached.
<v Speaker 5>To, ours of, Course, oh they constantly had the cops coming.
<v Speaker 1>Over they fought all the.
<v Speaker 5>Time they didn't pay their water bill, ever and because
<v Speaker 5>we shared a, house my water would get shut off.
<v Speaker 2>Consistently they could do.
<v Speaker 5>Well they only lived there for like four months because
<v Speaker 5>the property management company that we all rented, from eventually.
<v Speaker 1>They were, like, okay we got to get rid of these.
<v Speaker 1>People many.
<v Speaker 2>Problems but those.
<v Speaker 1>Four months that they lived there and they were not.
<v Speaker 5>Nice they were constantly just causing problems between. EVERYBODY i, mean,
<v Speaker 5>uh it was just such a. Headache and there's not
<v Speaker 5>a lot that you can. Do that's WHY i realized
<v Speaker 5>in that, moment is just LIKE i can't make that person.
<v Speaker 1>Pay their water.
<v Speaker 5>BILL i can't make them get.
<v Speaker 1>Along so the cops are coming to our.
<v Speaker 2>House and that's the. Thing when you watch the Show
<v Speaker 2>Worst Neighbor ever On, netflix that first, episode you're as
<v Speaker 2>you're watching, it you're, like why didn't the cops do
<v Speaker 2>anything about this crazy? Lady, yeah and their hands were
<v Speaker 2>tied exactly until she finally shot the. Neighbor, yeah, like
<v Speaker 2>don't let it get.
<v Speaker 1>That but, no it can get pretty intense and there's
<v Speaker 1>not a lot you can.
<v Speaker 2>Do, Right, well let's talk about your, guys just crazy.
<v Speaker 2>Neighbors do you have any what's going? On i've got
<v Speaker 2>no beef with none of my. Neighbors and it feels.
<v Speaker 2>Good oh, good how much she's less stress that is
<v Speaker 2>to worry, about you, know what's going on in the. Neighborhood.
<v Speaker 1>NOW i Bet i'm in the same. BELT i have
<v Speaker 1>not spoken to one of my neighbors and it's. Fabulous that's.
<v Speaker 1>Good it's so great THAT i don't know any of.
<v Speaker 2>Them, Hi, sophia welcome to the.
<v Speaker 8>Show good, Morning, well good morning to.
<v Speaker 2>You so you got a horrible. Neighbor you don't mention any, Names,
<v Speaker 2>yeah tell us about.
<v Speaker 7>It, yes it.
<v Speaker 8>Was WHEN i lived down In, houston we had a
<v Speaker 8>neighbor two doors over who was allegedly selling mes out
<v Speaker 8>of the. House her husband left her to go move
<v Speaker 8>To japan as a, doctor so she moved in with
<v Speaker 8>her high school boyfriend who was the cook at waffle
<v Speaker 8>house across the.
<v Speaker 2>Street i'm not at.
<v Speaker 8>That then she ended up like moving in with the
<v Speaker 8>waffle house. Guy and during twenty, twenty everyone was doing
<v Speaker 8>wine walks around the neighborhood as, wanted and we discovered
<v Speaker 8>a family of kittens that was living in their, house
<v Speaker 8>so we contacted animal. Control they came ended up having
<v Speaker 8>to contact the. Police, uh and they had to go
<v Speaker 8>into the house with hazmat suits on because the entire
<v Speaker 8>thing was just covered in cat specs and human feces
<v Speaker 8>the entire. Floor you could not see anything in the house.
<v Speaker 8>Whatsoever and the icing on the cake was in her living.
<v Speaker 8>Room she had a life size replica of The Last
<v Speaker 8>supper literally just hanging from the, ceiling, like not on the,
<v Speaker 8>wall hanging on the.
<v Speaker 1>Ceiling what?
<v Speaker 2>What the wildest.
<v Speaker 8>Neighbor AND i was friends with Animal, Control SO i
<v Speaker 8>was getting all of the details and everything a bit like.
<v Speaker 2>You hate hearing those situations because of the animals and. Everything,
<v Speaker 2>absolutely is it one.
<v Speaker 8>Of those the kittens got? Rescued so was it one
<v Speaker 8>of those?
<v Speaker 2>Things sophia were, like nobody knew that that was going
<v Speaker 2>on inside that. House.
<v Speaker 8>Yep it was all just, like, oh she's kind of,
<v Speaker 8>weird but, whatever like she just keeps to, herself and
<v Speaker 8>then and then these and all of, that and we
<v Speaker 8>just made that.
<v Speaker 2>Discovery and then the house was in her.
<v Speaker 7>Backyard oh, well you.
<v Speaker 8>Know as one, does in the middle of the grass
<v Speaker 8>that was like four feet tall because she didn't live,
<v Speaker 8>there because she moved in with waffle house.
<v Speaker 2>Guys, guys my, FAVORITE i guarantee you that was like
<v Speaker 2>your guys's code name for that.
<v Speaker 5>Guy the waffle guy over, there smothered in Covered, sophia
<v Speaker 5>this is what we're talking.
<v Speaker 2>About really really appreciate you calling. In what a great
<v Speaker 2>story that. Was High, eliza how are?
<v Speaker 4>You i'm?
<v Speaker 8>Good are you?
<v Speaker 2>Well we're super. Dubes do you have a horrible? Neighbor?
<v Speaker 7>YEAH i MEAN i. WOULDN'T i, mean everyone's just. Incredible
<v Speaker 7>but it was about two years AGO i think we aren't,
<v Speaker 7>moving so we aren't having to deal with. Anymore but
<v Speaker 7>it's not because it. Is don't. Worry but, UH i
<v Speaker 7>don't Think i've ever told anybody like around the neighborhood
<v Speaker 7>because it was so like. Confidential and so we have
<v Speaker 7>a neighbor HE'S i think it's like in the sixties or,
<v Speaker 7>something and he lives alone and he was leaving town
<v Speaker 7>and he's told us to look after his to like
<v Speaker 7>pop it, in like see his like twenty, cats and
<v Speaker 7>they're all they're they're all like. Crazy it was the,
<v Speaker 7>funniest like weirdest thing to. Ask and he's not offering any.
<v Speaker 7>Money he was just, like please look after my, babies like.
<v Speaker 7>Please and he honestly doesn't like our family a lot
<v Speaker 7>because when we had like, construction we had those dig
<v Speaker 7>dumpster on the side of our house that like was
<v Speaker 7>in his. YARD i, GUESS i don't, Know and so
<v Speaker 7>he would like yell at us for. That and so
<v Speaker 7>now he's expecting us to feed twenty like little. DEMONS
<v Speaker 7>i don't, Know.
<v Speaker 2>Well did you do? It did you go in his
<v Speaker 2>house and the little?
<v Speaker 7>Demons, Yeah so basically we would like go into his
<v Speaker 7>house and they're like all over all the count like
<v Speaker 7>ripping up the couch and like it was just like
<v Speaker 7>a dumpster. Fire like it looks like it was like
<v Speaker 7>rotting for twenty. YEARS i, Mean i've never gotten attack
<v Speaker 7>before BECAUSE i don't go talk to people like.
<v Speaker 2>That, obviously this is the strangest call. Ever and were, like.
<v Speaker 7>No we like go over there and feed. Them and
<v Speaker 7>then like we were leaving and like almost all of
<v Speaker 7>them started running outside the house and it was.
<v Speaker 2>Like you were literally hurting, cats.
<v Speaker 7>Right it was, yeah like walking them but, yeah and
<v Speaker 7>we had to get him all back. Inside they ran
<v Speaker 7>in the hold. Sack but, anyway and then he came.
<v Speaker 7>Home we didn't tell him any about. That but, anyway
<v Speaker 7>you just keep.
<v Speaker 2>Going you got a lot of.
<v Speaker 4>Energy wait did you get all of?
<v Speaker 8>Them?
<v Speaker 2>Though were she got them?
<v Speaker 4>All all of?
<v Speaker 2>Us she, said, yeah we got them all. That they
<v Speaker 2>got one question for, you did you finally move that ugly? Dumpster? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>okay that's the cheery on. Top thank you so much
<v Speaker 2>for that phone call. Today that's. FUNNY i kind of
<v Speaker 2>want to, run want to run out the door after
<v Speaker 2>talking with. It it's time for a mixed one undred sports.
<v Speaker 2>Report how about this, guy The scottish runner Named Josh.
<v Speaker 2>Kerr he's broken the world record for the fastest. Mile get,
<v Speaker 2>this three minutes and forty two. Seconds he's, like he
<v Speaker 2>runs like lightning.
<v Speaker 1>Man, yeah that's fast.
<v Speaker 2>Fast he beat the previous record by about half a.
<v Speaker 2>Second but, YEAH i, Mean i'm thinking about my seventeen
<v Speaker 2>minute miles AND i run and.
<v Speaker 4>Did just say seventeen minute miles that's.
<v Speaker 2>Funny minutes and forty two seconds is really really.
<v Speaker 4>Bad it's like you run twelve miles before.
<v Speaker 1>You get to it's like one of my slow.
<v Speaker 2>Walks, like, what don't judge why you're miles shaming? Me miles.
<v Speaker 1>Shamers you know, what you're still getting it. Done, chair

<v Speaker 6>Sprint good, lord that guy's actually watched him sprint, that
<v Speaker 6>and it looks like he's like a, Gazelle like he
<v Speaker 6>just glides around the track as he's flying past. Everybody,

<v Speaker 6>Floating and his Name's, josh so he's obviously super.
<v Speaker 2>Cool of what else you?
<v Speaker 6>Got, well this is interesting if you think women can't do,
<v Speaker 6>anything and probably even better than men, Can, well three
<v Speaker 6>women just set world records at the Annual Lumberjack World
<v Speaker 6>championship set In. Wisconsin this is that event where they
<v Speaker 6>essentially try to cut logs and do the log roll
<v Speaker 6>and do all that stuff as fast as. Possible, WELL
<v Speaker 6>i want to specifically talk about a couple people from
<v Speaker 6>The Czech.
<v Speaker 4>Republic.
<v Speaker 6>Carolina i'm not gonna attempt her last, name but she
<v Speaker 6>set the world record in two different. Events she earned
<v Speaker 6>first place in the women's underhand, chop which she cut
<v Speaker 6>through eleven inches of white pine wood in just twenty one,
<v Speaker 6>seconds and then she also came in first in the
<v Speaker 6>women's standing, chop cutting through nine inches of wood of
<v Speaker 6>white pine in nineteen.
<v Speaker 4>Seconds, okay that's a.
<v Speaker 6>Chop this is where they essentially take an, Axe katie
<v Speaker 6>and just try to chop that.
<v Speaker 4>Wood as well as. Possible could you do? That could
<v Speaker 4>you ever chop down a? Tree?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah i've been told this is not it's so much
<v Speaker 1>harder than it, looks so it really. Is it's us chopping.
<v Speaker 1>Wood that is not an easy.
<v Speaker 2>To Be definitely a process to, it for. Sure you gotta. Learn,
<v Speaker 2>yeah over many years of practice chopping that. Wood arm. Strength,
<v Speaker 2>Yeah katie's got massive forearms for all the years she's
<v Speaker 2>been working that.
<v Speaker 4>Wood do you like white, Pine?
<v Speaker 2>Katie you got an? Axe?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah i'm partial to all the. Pine, actually, YEAH i
<v Speaker 1>like all the.
<v Speaker 2>Pine this is not WHAT i was going. FOR a
<v Speaker 2>very serious.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah meredith also did a world record for running across
<v Speaker 6>water in the Women's Boom run sprinting across a red?
<v Speaker 4>Ceedar do you like red? Ceedar?
<v Speaker 2>Might peter And? Jen you like a Mighty?

<v Speaker 2>GO i do love this story this. Morning nostalgias. Mells
<v Speaker 2>it's the most nostalgic smells that every video store in
<v Speaker 2>the nineties. Had this is really. Good so imagine you're
<v Speaker 2>rolling into A blockbuster back in ninety two or something
<v Speaker 2>and think about. This they had The Glade Aqua waves air.
<v Speaker 2>Freshener according to many accounts, online the air freshener was
<v Speaker 2>used in MANY Us blockbuster stores throughout the. Nineties so
<v Speaker 2>if you smell that notes of sparkling, mandarin ocean, air,
<v Speaker 2>sea salt, island and island, flowers that's weird that they
<v Speaker 2>had that in. There, anyway printed paper when it comes
<v Speaker 2>from those dot matrix, printers remember they printed off your
<v Speaker 2>receipt and. Everything the smell of that ink in the
<v Speaker 2>paper stale buttery, popcorn, yes which is actually a cologne
<v Speaker 2>THAT i. Use it's From Ralph. Lauren Lauren, Lauren Ralph,
<v Speaker 2>Lauren Ralph. Lauren carpet cleaner and. Vacuums this is for some,
<v Speaker 2>reason most video shops were carpeted with that, thin industrial grade,
<v Speaker 2>carpet which required commercial vacuums and carpet. Cleaners there was
<v Speaker 2>a faint.
<v Speaker 4>Smell it was burning.
<v Speaker 2>Smell, well that one's number, one overheated, plastic and that's
<v Speaker 2>mostly due to THE vhs tapes and their cases and
<v Speaker 2>the computers, there and they'd have those movies playing NonStop
<v Speaker 2>up on those little TVs all day long and they'd
<v Speaker 2>overheat and you'd get that smell OF i miss blocked this,
<v Speaker 2>morning almost LIKE i missed going to a block bus
<v Speaker 2>there Every friday.
<v Speaker 6>Night well there's the, one but IT'S i mean it's an,
<v Speaker 6>yeah but like there was nothing. BETTER i, remember like
<v Speaker 6>weekly we'd go over to my grandparents and they would
<v Speaker 6>like six fifteen.
<v Speaker 4>Take us to The buster and we'd go to The
<v Speaker 4>buster candy and go pick. TAPE i loved.

<v Speaker 2>room with the back Room Video. City at the back,
<v Speaker 2>room you had to show your. Idea you always try
<v Speaker 2>to pack room in the. Backroom and then you see
<v Speaker 2>the guy come out of the back. Room you're, LIKE
