<v Speaker 1>On back with you. I missed you guys last Wednesday.
<v Speaker 1>We had no live review last Wednesday, but we are
<v Speaker 1>back this week for aw Dynamite, which I am happy
<v Speaker 1>to say was an improvement over last week. This was
<v Speaker 1>definitely a better show than the one they had last Wednesday.
<v Speaker 1>Still not as good as Beach Break, but it was
<v Speaker 1>better than what we got before. We actually got a
<v Speaker 1>couple of really good matches on the show tonight, including
<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen challenging for the TNT Championship against Kevin Knight.
<v Speaker 1>We also had a tag team match with Brodido taking
<v Speaker 1>on Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchko Okata. We actually had two
<v Speaker 1>more women's segments than we had on Raw Monday nights.
<v Speaker 1>We had a big goose egg on Raw Monday tonight.
<v Speaker 1>We had a go home promo between Willow Nightingale and
<v Speaker 1>Tecla for their Women's World Championship match this Sunday at Redemption,
<v Speaker 1>and we had a no disqualification women's Tag Team Championship
<v Speaker 1>match Megan Bain and Lee Across defending their titles against
<v Speaker 1>the Sisters of Sin, which is more than I can
<v Speaker 1>say for. Again, the women's influence on the show on Monday.
<v Speaker 1>We also had tensions boiling over really for the first
<v Speaker 1>time between Kenny Omega and Will Osprey, and as I
<v Speaker 1>talked about in my Dynamite review. Again, I wasn't live
<v Speaker 1>last week, but I talked about Dynamite on the Sounduff
<v Speaker 1>on Sunday and I said, you know, the catalyst here
<v Speaker 1>to some tension between Kenny Omega and Will Osprey is
<v Speaker 1>going to be John Moxley, you know. I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>only made sense they would use him as a tool
<v Speaker 1>to kind of drive a wedge between the two of them.
<v Speaker 1>And we saw that really blow over for the first
<v Speaker 1>time tonight in this main event, which was Omega, Osprey
<v Speaker 1>and Moxley all on the same side against the Don
<v Speaker 1>Kallis family, and things got out of hand late in
<v Speaker 1>the match, and then after the match, things got out
<v Speaker 1>of hand with all three men, So we'll get into
<v Speaker 1>what happened there. There was some stuff on the show
<v Speaker 1>that didn't hit as well, which included the return of
<v Speaker 1>Switchblade J White. Was really good to see j White
<v Speaker 1>back in the ring in singles action for the first
<v Speaker 1>time in got fifteen months, I believe is what they said.
<v Speaker 1>I just wish it was a more exciting match. I
<v Speaker 1>can't say the match tonight was exciting. Is not a
<v Speaker 1>word I would use to describe the match that he
<v Speaker 1>had tonight with Clark Connors. We have a Redemption pay
<v Speaker 1>per view coming up on Sunday that very much feels
<v Speaker 1>like a filler show. Not that there aren't going to be,
<v Speaker 1>you know, some great matches on the car. There absolutely
<v Speaker 1>will be. Whether or not you think it's worth your
<v Speaker 1>your forty or fifty bucks is going to be a
<v Speaker 1>different story. Or you can go to my AW route
<v Speaker 1>and you can get the show for nineteen ninety nine.
<v Speaker 1>You could always do that. But yeah, we're gonna We're
<v Speaker 1>gonna run down the redemption card a little bit later
<v Speaker 1>on as well. That's coming up on Sunday. This though,
<v Speaker 1>is Wednesday, and it is your AW Dynamite review. It
<v Speaker 1>is July twenty second, twenty twenty six. I am the
<v Speaker 1>Solemn Monster. Like and subscribe. Superchats are open. We got
<v Speaker 1>a brand new one too, got a brand new fifteen dollars.
<v Speaker 1>One could check out the description down below, but to
<v Speaker 1>get the super chats on in I will be reading
<v Speaker 1>all of your messages. I also want to give a
<v Speaker 1>quick plug here for a brand new episode of The
<v Speaker 1>Uncrowned Wrestling Show, which went of yesterday. You could find
<v Speaker 1>it on the Ariel Hilwani Show feed, the podcast feed
<v Speaker 1>that is not YouTube, and I always love getting feedback
<v Speaker 1>from you guys on on Crown. We're also going to
<v Speaker 1>bust out the wheel here and see what our likes
<v Speaker 1>goal is going to be for our be the Booker segment.
<v Speaker 1>We spin the wheel, we find out how many likes
<v Speaker 1>we need as a minimum. That's what we do here
<v Speaker 1>and for tonight the number is three to ninety three
<v Speaker 1>hundred and ninety likes. What do we ad We're not
<v Speaker 1>even at two hundred yet. No bueno, No bueno. So
<v Speaker 1>you guys work on that. We got the goal, we
<v Speaker 1>got the plugs. I think we're good. I think we
<v Speaker 1>can just dive right into I have a feeling this
<v Speaker 1>is going to be an express review. That's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>up to you guys, but we're gonna zip on through
<v Speaker 1>this here. We're gonna start from the very beginning because
<v Speaker 1>we had the announcers on screen ex Caliber running things
<v Speaker 1>down for us here at the beginning of the program,
<v Speaker 1>and we had Kenny Omega, we had John Moxley and
<v Speaker 1>Will Osprey, being billed for the main event tonight. They
<v Speaker 1>were going to be closing the show against the Don
<v Speaker 1>Kallis family, and now we had a backstage segment with
<v Speaker 1>Omega and Osbury appearing together. Osbury pointed out to Kenny
<v Speaker 1>that the two of them were undefeated whenever they teamed together,
<v Speaker 1>and so they were teasing each other about reaching out
<v Speaker 1>during the match when the other one gets tired. All
<v Speaker 1>of a sudden, John Moxley walked into the shot and
<v Speaker 1>very sarcastically said, oh, there's no tension in the room,
<v Speaker 1>and then he walked away and Omega said, well, there
<v Speaker 1>wasn't until he walked in again. That's the role that
<v Speaker 1>Moxley is there to play. Moxley is there to basically
<v Speaker 1>cause problems between the two of them because this brother
<v Speaker 1>brother stuff is not going to be very interesting. We
<v Speaker 1>have many more weeks to go until we get to
<v Speaker 1>London and we need Omega and Osbury to start button
<v Speaker 1>heads and John Moxley is going to be the conduit
<v Speaker 1>to that. But they opened in ring with Kevin Knight,
<v Speaker 1>the man who was in the main event this Sunday
<v Speaker 1>challenging for the aw World Championship. He has a title
<v Speaker 1>of his own, and tonight he was defending that title
<v Speaker 1>the TNT Championship against the former champion two times. I
<v Speaker 1>believe Darby. Allen Renee was at ringside and she brought
<v Speaker 1>up Darby being forced to pull out of last year's
<v Speaker 1>Continental Classic after he sustained an injury. I believe he
<v Speaker 1>was concussed in his tournament match against Kevin Knight. Even
<v Speaker 1>before the bell, Darby just wrecked him with a low
<v Speaker 1>toe pay out of the ring, tossed him into the crowd.
<v Speaker 1>Eventually they made their way back to ringside and the
<v Speaker 1>match finally started ahead of a commercial break. Darby sent
<v Speaker 1>him outside and then he hit him with a coffin drop,
<v Speaker 1>and Darby was getting ready later on in the match
<v Speaker 1>for a scorpion death drop when Knight sent him colliding
<v Speaker 1>into the referee and that sent him out to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>I believe it was Paul Turner, if I'm not mistaken.
<v Speaker 1>So Knight went outside, he grabs the TNT title. Darby, though,
<v Speaker 1>was able to duck the belt shot. He hit the
<v Speaker 1>death drop, and then he took a long look at
<v Speaker 1>the championship. He decided against using it because he's a
<v Speaker 1>good guy. That didn't work. Out too well for Cody
<v Speaker 1>Rhoades oft WrestleMania last year. So anyway, he ditched the belt,
<v Speaker 1>opted not to use it. He went for a coffin drop,
<v Speaker 1>but he got crotched and Knight then blasted him in
<v Speaker 1>the back of the head with the belt, hung him
<v Speaker 1>upside down in the tree of woe. Knight went to
<v Speaker 1>the opposite side of the ring, opposite ends on the
<v Speaker 1>same side, and he connected on a coast to coast. Now,
<v Speaker 1>if you remember when Darby got hurt when he got
<v Speaker 1>his bell rung in the first match back at the
<v Speaker 1>C two last year against Kevin Knight, it was on
<v Speaker 1>that very move. So he hit him with the Coast
<v Speaker 1>to Coast and then he dragged Paul Turner back into
<v Speaker 1>the ring. He landed the UFO splash for the pin
<v Speaker 1>to retain the TNT title. After the match nights out there,
<v Speaker 1>he's celebrating, he's reveling in his win. Kyle Fletcher's music
<v Speaker 1>hits fellow member of the Kallus family. He makes his
<v Speaker 1>way out, followed by Kazuchka Okada. So we had Protokada
<v Speaker 1>coming out to the ring ahead of the break because
<v Speaker 1>they had a tag team match coming up. On the
<v Speaker 1>opposite side of the break. But let me stop there.
<v Speaker 1>So as far as the match itself, I still feel
<v Speaker 1>the same way that I felt last week, and the
<v Speaker 1>way that I felt last week was it would have
<v Speaker 1>made more sense and I think been better. If you
<v Speaker 1>wanted to do Darby Allen against Kevin Knight on this show,
<v Speaker 1>don't bother making it a TNT championship match. Make it
<v Speaker 1>a non title match, put the number one contendership on
<v Speaker 1>the line with the winner going to redemption this Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>I know it would be very short notice, and maybe
<v Speaker 1>they just didn't want to wait until the very last
<v Speaker 1>minute right to announce what their main event was going
<v Speaker 1>to be. Will you do a non title match and
<v Speaker 1>you do Darby Allen, you do Kevin Knight, The winner
<v Speaker 1>gets Kenny Omega in Montreal on Sunday. They opted not
<v Speaker 1>to do that. They wanted this to be a title match.
<v Speaker 1>I guess you know that. I mean, Night was going
<v Speaker 1>to win either way, but this is their way of
<v Speaker 1>giving him a big momentum win. I guess going into
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view, I just think to do it
<v Speaker 1>the other way would have made more sense. But with
<v Speaker 1>Darby losing, question now is do they run this match
<v Speaker 1>back at Wembley. I mean, he lost here, but Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight cheated right he hit him with the belt. So
<v Speaker 1>do they run this match back for the time title
<v Speaker 1>in London at the end of next month or are
<v Speaker 1>we looking at some kind of a tag team match now?
<v Speaker 1>There's been all kinds of speculation about mc foley and
<v Speaker 1>is he gonna wrestle at London? They want him, you know,
<v Speaker 1>he wants to maybe do a match on the Big
<v Speaker 1>Stadium show and I really don't have any interest in
<v Speaker 1>seeing that. Darby Allen has said he does not want
<v Speaker 1>to wrestle mc foley ever, but he would love to
<v Speaker 1>team with him. Would they get making the ring to
<v Speaker 1>do a tag team match on that show and maybe
<v Speaker 1>Darby and Mick or a tag team against the Callous Family.
<v Speaker 1>Anything's possible. They could just as easily run this back
<v Speaker 1>for the TNT title. I don't know what they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>do with Darby on that show. That's still five or
<v Speaker 1>six weeks down the road. But for this night anyway,
<v Speaker 1>Darby got his shot and he lost, and so that's
<v Speaker 1>where things stand now. When they came back from the break,
<v Speaker 1>Renee was in the ring, with what looks it looked
<v Speaker 1>like maybe half the Don Kallis family. It most definitely
<v Speaker 1>he was not all the members of the Callous Family.
<v Speaker 1>Let's say half of them. Mark Davis spoke, which is
<v Speaker 1>a rarity we never get to hear him speak on
<v Speaker 1>these shows, and he mentioned laying out Andrade on Collision
<v Speaker 1>last week. So Kevin Knight brought up having the most
<v Speaker 1>consecutive TNT title defenses, breaking Kyle Fletcher's record and how
<v Speaker 1>he did it without the help of the Callous Family.
<v Speaker 1>Fletcher says that Knight thinks he's really impressive. He thinks
<v Speaker 1>he's hot. Shit says, you know what, I hope you
<v Speaker 1>do become Jet two Belts on Sunday. Fletcher said that
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't need help from the Callus family either, and
<v Speaker 1>he's going to make sure that everybody is banned from
<v Speaker 1>ringside when he defends his international title this Sunday against Bandido,
<v Speaker 1>and even better, he's going to have some fun here.
<v Speaker 1>Everyone is banned for their match with Brodido right now.
<v Speaker 1>And he tells Kevin Knight get the hell out of
<v Speaker 1>the ring. He shoved the mic in his chest and
<v Speaker 1>he shoved him backwards, and so then there was another shove,
<v Speaker 1>and the other members of the family had to get
<v Speaker 1>between the two of them to be separated. I like that.
<v Speaker 1>I like that. I think it's okay to have some
<v Speaker 1>tension between the members, you know, when the competitive juices
<v Speaker 1>start flowing, and if it ends up with another member
<v Speaker 1>or two being sacrificed and leaving the Callus family, I'm
<v Speaker 1>all for that too, because we all know that as
<v Speaker 1>soon as you get one member gone, there's going to
<v Speaker 1>be two more that get added. It doesn't really matter
<v Speaker 1>in the end, you know, it's basically addition by subtraction
<v Speaker 1>with this faction. But it was Kyle Fletcher and Kazuska
<v Speaker 1>Okada against Brody King and Bandido. Hey King, Solovon in
<v Speaker 1>the chat, I love you too, brother, thank you my friend.
<v Speaker 1>So we had two great teams here in this match.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, what kind of match do you think they had.
<v Speaker 1>It's Brody King, Bendido, Kyle Fletcher and Ocada. I mean
<v Speaker 1>they would be incapable of having anything other than a
<v Speaker 1>very good match at the very least. Late in that match, though,
<v Speaker 1>Okada went for a rain maker and Brody ducked and
<v Speaker 1>Okada took out Fletcher with the rain maker by accident.
<v Speaker 1>Oh Okatta then turned right into a rolling elbow and
<v Speaker 1>a topey outside from Brody. Bandido tried for the twenty
<v Speaker 1>one plex to Fletcher. He got him up, he dropped
<v Speaker 1>him with it. He folded him up and he pinned him.
<v Speaker 1>His challenger got the win. He got the drop on
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher here. Tonight after the match, Fletcher got into
<v Speaker 1>it with Okada. He got up in his face. He's screaming,
<v Speaker 1>this is your fault, and he had to be held
<v Speaker 1>back by Mark Davis and Lance Archer. Okada meanwhile basically
<v Speaker 1>just bailed up the ramp and so Broddo. Now they
<v Speaker 1>were alone in the ring. They were outnumbered and the
<v Speaker 1>Kallus family was closing in. We heard androdel Itelo's music
<v Speaker 1>hit and he ran out to even up the score
<v Speaker 1>as the family thought better of it. So look we
<v Speaker 1>got great stuff here in the ring from these four.
<v Speaker 1>Broddo is always great. They're such a great team. Better
<v Speaker 1>to give ben Dido the win here, though, as they did,
<v Speaker 1>since he going to be getting one on Sunday. At
<v Speaker 1>least they gave him the win here, and they did
<v Speaker 1>the finish in a way also that puts more heat
<v Speaker 1>on Okata and Fletcher, which is going to be important
<v Speaker 1>when we come around to London next month because I
<v Speaker 1>still think we're getting a three way. I think Ocatta
<v Speaker 1>is going to be I mean, he almost has to
<v Speaker 1>be involved in that match, you know, when Takeshta comes back,
<v Speaker 1>all three of them in the ring together at Wembley
<v Speaker 1>International Title, that's the match we're looking at. And so
<v Speaker 1>they were able to work the finish in a way
<v Speaker 1>that kind of pushed that further along, which I liked.
<v Speaker 1>And the tension again with the two of them is
<v Speaker 1>only going to continue. I don't know when Takashta will
<v Speaker 1>be back on TV, may not be until a couple
<v Speaker 1>of weeks I think is when he's due back a
<v Speaker 1>couple of weeks before all. In speaking of Mick Foley,
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned him a moment ago. McK foley comes out
<v Speaker 1>and he got a nice ovation. I don't know that
<v Speaker 1>the people in the building necessarily expected him to be there,
<v Speaker 1>but he made his way out onto the ramp and
<v Speaker 1>he was there to moderate a face to face which
<v Speaker 1>took place on the stage and not in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>A face to face between the two women who were
<v Speaker 1>going to be wrestling for the Women's World Championship. This Sunday, Tecla,
<v Speaker 1>the Toxic Spider the Champion was out first and her
<v Speaker 1>challenger Willow Nightingale. So Tecla was out there calling herself
<v Speaker 1>Tecla two belts because she had the AW Women's World
<v Speaker 1>title around her waist, and then also around her waist
<v Speaker 1>just above the AW title, she had her Artist of
<v Speaker 1>Stardom belt that she won on Saturday with Sky Blue
<v Speaker 1>and Julia Hart. That's the trio's belts stardom. I'm over
<v Speaker 1>the whole two belts thing. By the way, if I
<v Speaker 1>never hear this two belts thing from anybody in wrestling
<v Speaker 1>like for a long time, I'll be okay. We have
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight, of course, who's gonna beat Jet two belts?
<v Speaker 1>After Sunday, we have Tekla two belts. We've had a
<v Speaker 1>bunch of people the two belts in ww like. I
<v Speaker 1>don't need it anymore. We don't need any more two belts.
<v Speaker 1>I'm good with it for a while. Willow said that
<v Speaker 1>it's great not only to see Mick, but everybody here
<v Speaker 1>tonight in Nashville, even you Techla. She says that there's
<v Speaker 1>only one match standing between her and her dream and
<v Speaker 1>she's gonna take the world championship on Sunday. So Techla,
<v Speaker 1>she says, she knows Willow is made up of rainbows
<v Speaker 1>and chirping birds, but she's talking to the toxic one.
<v Speaker 1>If she doesn't buy any of that, smile anyway, crap.
<v Speaker 1>She says, Willow is poisoned inside, so she's going to
<v Speaker 1>beat the poison out of her so everyone can see
<v Speaker 1>how ugly she truly is. Willow says, everyone knows this
<v Speaker 1>toxic act as a facade. Tekla may have swagger, but
<v Speaker 1>she's just a shortcut for Willow to get her belt
<v Speaker 1>at Redemption. So Foley had a step in between them,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm like, I'm watching this and good on Mick.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, he's clearly, you know, dropped a lot
<v Speaker 1>of weight, and it just seemed to be like he
<v Speaker 1>was going to be very easily bowled over if things
<v Speaker 1>got a little out of hand here with these two women,
<v Speaker 1>that he was potentially in jeopardy of being dropped here.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like watching this and I'm like, what's he going
<v Speaker 1>to do. He's getting in between them to try to
<v Speaker 1>hold them back. I'm like, what is he going to do?
<v Speaker 1>He's not going to do anything, but he says he
<v Speaker 1>sees himself in Willow. They are both or we're both
<v Speaker 1>champions on TBS. Both have taken beatings but smiled through it.
<v Speaker 1>Even if Willow had more teeth in his her mouth
<v Speaker 1>than he did in his, Tecla told him to shut
<v Speaker 1>the hell up. Willow said, look, I'm fed up with
<v Speaker 1>your disrespect. She called Tecla a dumb bitch. Tecla couldn't
<v Speaker 1>believe that she stole her line, but she says, on Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>when she's standing over her beaten and bloodied with her
<v Speaker 1>dreams pissed on, just remember smile anyway. So Techla slapped
<v Speaker 1>her folly again, got in between them, and I think
<v Speaker 1>Techla was using him as like a human shield, and
<v Speaker 1>Techla got a cheap shot in with the microphone. So
<v Speaker 1>they ended up in the ring. Tecla, she's flipping off Foley.
<v Speaker 1>She's holding up both of her belts. So Techla took
<v Speaker 1>her belt off her regular belt. She was gonna whip
<v Speaker 1>Willow with it. Instead, Willow pounced her right out of
<v Speaker 1>the ring and that was the end of that. The
<v Speaker 1>challenger stood tall here, which I don't know. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if that bodes well for Willow on Sunday. I'm
<v Speaker 1>still sticking with her as my pick. Though I thought
<v Speaker 1>this was fine. I thought this was good. It was
<v Speaker 1>good to get the back and fourth between them. The
<v Speaker 1>fact they did it on the stage and not in
<v Speaker 1>the ring. I mean, who cares. It's fine, it's just
<v Speaker 1>something different, and I thought, you know, again, it was
<v Speaker 1>it was good. I sometimes I watch. First of all,
<v Speaker 1>I love Techla. I think Techla's great sometimes in these promos,
<v Speaker 1>though I don't know if she's trying too hard. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, I don't know. It's like sometimes it's okay
<v Speaker 1>to have more of a regular promo. It seems like
<v Speaker 1>the volume with her is always up to like an eleven,
<v Speaker 1>So maybe dial it back a little bit, maybe every
<v Speaker 1>now and then. I think could probably benefit her in
<v Speaker 1>these types of segments. But I think she's great. Willow
<v Speaker 1>is just a great babyface. She's a great babyface. I
<v Speaker 1>think that she's gonna be the one walking into London
<v Speaker 1>is the champion. But if Techla order somehow still walk
<v Speaker 1>in as the champion, it's not like I would mind
<v Speaker 1>it or be upset about that. I just think that
<v Speaker 1>everything has been positioned from the big surprise return in
<v Speaker 1>the Gauntlet match to her getting this shot on this
<v Speaker 1>show for a reason. You know, I don't think it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think she was being reintroduced just to go
<v Speaker 1>in there and lose on Sunday. And there's still speculation,
<v Speaker 1>and I look, I didn't buy into it at first,
<v Speaker 1>but there could very well be something to this that
<v Speaker 1>she was never really hurt. You know, they wanted a
<v Speaker 1>way to get the TBS title off of her without
<v Speaker 1>beating her so they could get her prepped and ready
<v Speaker 1>to win the world title. And that may well be
<v Speaker 1>the case. I still think that the odds are in
<v Speaker 1>her favor on Sunday, and then in that case, what
<v Speaker 1>Tecla does at all in I just hope she's on
<v Speaker 1>the card, you know, if she's not going to be
<v Speaker 1>in the championship match, I don't know if they're going
<v Speaker 1>to be having a casino gauntlet for both the men
<v Speaker 1>and the women or just the men. You know, there's
<v Speaker 1>a gauntlet match. She could be in the gauntlet. She
<v Speaker 1>could do something with the Sisters of Sin. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't thought too much about what Tecla would do
<v Speaker 1>in the event that she drops the belt on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully I'll have a decent role for her, But I'm
<v Speaker 1>just I'm still stuck on that Willow and Mercedes match.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like that's the one that we're looking at.
<v Speaker 1>We got a video package for Hikarushida against Maya World
<v Speaker 1>for the TBS title of Redemption this Sunday. Maya looking
<v Speaker 1>to win her first championship in aw Schida says that
<v Speaker 1>it will continue to be the best. Is Shidah seeing
<v Speaker 1>TBS and they made the announcement that Maya and Willow
<v Speaker 1>are going to team up to take on Tecla and
<v Speaker 1>Chidah on Collision. This Saturday, we had Switchblade Jay White
<v Speaker 1>in his first singles bout in fifteen months, taking on
<v Speaker 1>Clark Conners. So let me say this, I am glad
<v Speaker 1>to see j White back in the ring. I'm glad
<v Speaker 1>to see him healthy again because for the longest time
<v Speaker 1>he wasn't and he was just sort of out of sight,
<v Speaker 1>out of mind. He's had a couple of different injury
<v Speaker 1>setbacks in his time in ADW. This match, though, was
<v Speaker 1>a slog to sit through. I'm sorry this match never
<v Speaker 1>got out of first gear. It didn't help that Clark
<v Speaker 1>Connors was in control for like eighty percent of it.
<v Speaker 1>It felt like this was this was a tough one. Here.
<v Speaker 1>Connors rolled out of a blade Runner attempt into a
<v Speaker 1>roll up with a handful of tights, only for two.
<v Speaker 1>He tried for a spear, ran right into a guillotine
<v Speaker 1>choke though, and White rolled into a bridge and cranked
<v Speaker 1>back on it, and he got the submission. A new finish,
<v Speaker 1>not that the blade Runner is gone, but he's incorporating
<v Speaker 1>something new in as a finish here. After the match,
<v Speaker 1>Connor's attacked. He ended up eating a blade Runner anyway,
<v Speaker 1>David Finley came out, he blasted White with the Chiallely juice.
<v Speaker 1>Robinson sprinted to the ring with the Bang Bang Gang.
<v Speaker 1>Finley and Connors they bailed out through the crowd. This
<v Speaker 1>was not great. Was not great. I won't say it
<v Speaker 1>was terrible. It was just kind of there. It's the
<v Speaker 1>best way I could really describe it. But again, it's
<v Speaker 1>good to see j Why back in the ring because
<v Speaker 1>he was gone for so long. And I would imagine,
<v Speaker 1>you know, when it comes to London next month, I
<v Speaker 1>could see them doing a singles match with him and Finley.
<v Speaker 1>They're not doing it on Sunday. In fact, they made
<v Speaker 1>the announcement in the back later. Juice Robinson was there
<v Speaker 1>with the rest of the members of the Bang Bang
<v Speaker 1>Gang and he had a chain and he pitched the
<v Speaker 1>idea of chaining the dogs up to the Bang Bang
<v Speaker 1>Gang at Redemption, and he basically made the challenge to
<v Speaker 1>what I believe is a tag team match, him and
<v Speaker 1>Jay White against Finley and Connors for what he called
<v Speaker 1>a double chain match. Now, he never used the words
<v Speaker 1>dog collar because as soon as I saw the chain,
<v Speaker 1>I just assumed this was gonna be a dog collar challenge. Right,
<v Speaker 1>They're facing a team that literally is called the Dogs.
<v Speaker 1>It would make sense if they wanted to use the
<v Speaker 1>dog collar stipulation. They went out of their way not
<v Speaker 1>to say the words dog collar. So it sounds like
<v Speaker 1>it's just going to be a chain match, a double
<v Speaker 1>chain match. Maybe it's more like a strap match, only
<v Speaker 1>with chains instead of a strap. But I don't think
<v Speaker 1>that they're going to be bound by the neck or
<v Speaker 1>anything like that, or they will, but I'm just saying
<v Speaker 1>in this case, they didn't mention that. So there's your
<v Speaker 1>ninth match. Now we have nine matches confirmed for the
<v Speaker 1>pay per view on Sunday, we had Adam Copeland and
<v Speaker 1>Christian Cage backstage starting a promo. They didn't get too
<v Speaker 1>deep into it when they were attacked by Claudio Castignolium
<v Speaker 1>Pack of the Death Riders who are going to be
<v Speaker 1>challenging for the championships. On Sunday, Copeland was he had
<v Speaker 1>his head placed down on top of a production case
<v Speaker 1>and Pack was standing on top of the case. He
<v Speaker 1>came in. He gave him a curb stop on top
<v Speaker 1>of the case, and then he asked, you know, do
<v Speaker 1>you think that you can walk with the death Ride?
<v Speaker 1>That it was going to be a cakewalk. They've bitten
<v Speaker 1>off way more than they can chew. He and Claudia
<v Speaker 1>are going to remind them on Sunday exactly what the
<v Speaker 1>Death Riders are capable of. And they're going to ruin
<v Speaker 1>their homecoming in Montreal, even though they're not from Montreal.
<v Speaker 1>But I guess any Canadian it's a homecoming when you
<v Speaker 1>head back up north. It doesn't matter if it's Winnipeg,
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't matter if it's Ottawa, it doesn't matter if
<v Speaker 1>it's Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Saskatchewan. There's that Canadian Pride, So
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't matter where you're from, what province you're from.
<v Speaker 1>It's a homecoming for Kenny Omega, it's a homecoming for
<v Speaker 1>Christian Cage, and it's a homecoming for Adam Coplan and
<v Speaker 1>the Death Riders are going to ruin the homecoming, except
<v Speaker 1>you and I both know that that's not going to happen.
<v Speaker 1>This is a bump in the road until we get
<v Speaker 1>to the real match, which is going to involve the
<v Speaker 1>Young Bucks and who knows, potentially another team that we're
<v Speaker 1>not seeing on TV yet, but at the very least
<v Speaker 1>the Young Bucks. We're getting the Young Bucks and Coping Christian.
<v Speaker 1>They're gonna build that thing up as a dream match,
<v Speaker 1>a dream match that you never thought you would see
<v Speaker 1>first time ever Wembley Stadium. It's gonna say it on
<v Speaker 1>the Marquee Claudio Impact. They have one job on Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>to literally do the job and that's it. Speaking of
<v Speaker 1>tag teams, after this, we had the aw Women's Tag
<v Speaker 1>Team Championships on the line. Divine Dominion, who I have
<v Speaker 1>to say, they have a pretty cool entrance, so they
<v Speaker 1>have these giant screens on either side of the entranceway
<v Speaker 1>and on one side on the video wall, you have
<v Speaker 1>Leana Cross speaking cutting a promo. On the other video panel,
<v Speaker 1>you have Meghan Bain speaking cutting a promo. Then they
<v Speaker 1>sort of turn inward and walk in and then they
<v Speaker 1>actually walk out from the entranceway. I like that a
<v Speaker 1>true tag team. I hate to say, the best thing
<v Speaker 1>that could have happened was the fact that they came together.
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't planned. Penelope Ford got hurt. It sucks that
<v Speaker 1>that happened, and wherever she is, hopefully she's either recovered
<v Speaker 1>or nearly recovered. The team, though, was Megan Bain and
<v Speaker 1>Penelope Ford. Ford got hurt. These two ended up being
<v Speaker 1>paired off. This is a much more natural team. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they just walk out there and it just it's such
<v Speaker 1>a natural fit. So anyway, they walk out and they're
<v Speaker 1>defending their tag team titles here against the Sisters of Sin,
<v Speaker 1>Sky Blue and Julia Hart, two heel teams. Heel against Heel.
<v Speaker 1>This was a notice qualification match that was made after
<v Speaker 1>the Sisters of Sin threw out the challenge on collision.
<v Speaker 1>They had just won titles in stardom, they wanted more gold,
<v Speaker 1>so why not they threw out the challenge to the
<v Speaker 1>Women's Tag Team Champions. So the challenger is attacked right
<v Speaker 1>away with Kendo sticks. I mean that gives you a
<v Speaker 1>sense of what kind of match we were looking at here. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Roderick says, the female Skyscrapers. That's exactly what they are.
<v Speaker 1>They walk out there a lean across, Leanacross is tall,
<v Speaker 1>Lean Across. I really like Lenacross, Leanacross is great. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>just again the aesthetics of it, just when they walk
<v Speaker 1>out side by side like that, It's true. It is
<v Speaker 1>like a female version of the Skyscrapers. They's just a
<v Speaker 1>much more natural fit the Megan Bain and Penelope Forwardward.
<v Speaker 1>Early on, we got some friendly fire. Julia had Meghan
<v Speaker 1>lined up for a screwdriver shot, but she ended up
<v Speaker 1>hitting Sky Blue with it by accident, which busted her open,
<v Speaker 1>not too badly, but she was bleeding. It looked like
<v Speaker 1>maybe from the hairline. We see a table set up
<v Speaker 1>on the ramp. Bain is standing on top of two chairs,
<v Speaker 1>and we end up getting a double team power bomb
<v Speaker 1>from the Sisters of Sin to Megan Bain through the table.
<v Speaker 1>Later on, both teams they grabbed their respective title belts,
<v Speaker 1>Julia and sky They missed when they went for belt shots,
<v Speaker 1>but they countered a double supplex attempt into a double
<v Speaker 1>DDT instead. Heart and Baine. They fought off on the floor.
<v Speaker 1>We see Lena is set up on the top rope
<v Speaker 1>and sky Blue fights her off. She hits the cheeky
<v Speaker 1>Nandos kick. So sky is gonna go to the apron
<v Speaker 1>and she wants a superplex. This table set up outside
<v Speaker 1>the ring. She's gonna be looking for a superplex. Megan
<v Speaker 1>comes over though, and she choke slams her off the
<v Speaker 1>apron and down through the table goes sky Blue. Sky Blue,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, she lives for this shit. If you've
<v Speaker 1>heard her talk before in interviews or whatever, like that
<v Speaker 1>hardcore style, you know, getting all bloody and everything. I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>go back to blood and guts. What was it the
<v Speaker 1>first ninety seconds of the match. She's bleeding a gusher.
<v Speaker 1>So she lives for this kind of stuff. This is
<v Speaker 1>right up her ally. So she took this big bump
<v Speaker 1>through the table outside and so at that point, Julia
<v Speaker 1>hard is back in. She sinks in the black Widow
<v Speaker 1>submission on Megan Bain. Bain fought Free basically just swung
<v Speaker 1>her up into position for a tombstone pile driver and
<v Speaker 1>then crossing Bain, they delivered there from Heaven to Hell
<v Speaker 1>double chokes lamp for the Wind to retain the titles.
<v Speaker 1>They worked hard to try to make this as physical
<v Speaker 1>as possible and really feel like a battle. I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the day, it was your typical
<v Speaker 1>Plunder match. We see them every week. There really was
<v Speaker 1>nothing that set this one apart from all the other
<v Speaker 1>ones that you've seen. If you've seen one, you've seen
<v Speaker 1>them all. But they were out there working their tails
<v Speaker 1>off to try to make this more than just your
<v Speaker 1>average match. It came off as one of the tougher
<v Speaker 1>challenges that Bane and Cross have had. And they're run
<v Speaker 1>together as tag team champions, but we're all just waiting
<v Speaker 1>for the obvious match in London. This is all building
<v Speaker 1>to the brawling birds Jamie Hayter, Alex Windsor. They're going
<v Speaker 1>to get their shot at all in and they will
<v Speaker 1>be the ones in the rain of the of the
<v Speaker 1>Divine Dominion. This is kind of where we are right now,
<v Speaker 1>where there's a series of matches that we can see
<v Speaker 1>off in the distance, and it's very unlikely, barring injury,
<v Speaker 1>that there's going to be any detour for any of
<v Speaker 1>these matches pulling off the road. So all we're doing
<v Speaker 1>here is we're just we're trying to stall and kill
<v Speaker 1>time until we get to the matches that we know
<v Speaker 1>are coming. I mean, that's really where we are. They
<v Speaker 1>could put these two women in the ring with anybody.
<v Speaker 1>Nobody will believe that they're dropping the belts to anybody
<v Speaker 1>other than the brawling birds. And it's felt that way
<v Speaker 1>for a couple of months now. It's not like they
<v Speaker 1>just became number one contender and or you know, this
<v Speaker 1>all just became some big revelation. We could see this
<v Speaker 1>coming from five miles away. I'm not sure who else
<v Speaker 1>they would even be working with. Frankly, in the meantime,
<v Speaker 1>they'll have a series of random matches, maybe a couple
<v Speaker 1>more title defenses, but we all know the match that
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna be getting soon. Apparently I should mention this. Apparently.
<v Speaker 1>Japanese Twitter Stardom fans on Twitter Stardom Twitter, they are
<v Speaker 1>obsessed with Julia Hart. They love Julia Hart. Now the
<v Speaker 1>sisters have sinned, well, the whole triangle of madness or
<v Speaker 1>just in Japan again. They won the Trios belts in stardom. Julia, though,
<v Speaker 1>is taking part in the Grand Prix, so she's on
<v Speaker 1>her way back to Japan. It's almost like a little
<v Speaker 1>mini excursion that she's going on, very much like Anna
<v Speaker 1>j Anna j also participated in the Grand Prix a
<v Speaker 1>couple of years ago, went to Japan, worked there for
<v Speaker 1>a while, like a matter of weeks, and then made
<v Speaker 1>her way back. So Julia Hart is on her way.
<v Speaker 1>I hope that she can level up her game because
<v Speaker 1>more so than sky Blue, you know, I watch Julia
<v Speaker 1>in these matches and she's like the weak link out there.
<v Speaker 1>I think something like this could turn out to be
<v Speaker 1>a good thing for her, you know, her going over
<v Speaker 1>to Japan and working with the folks over there that
<v Speaker 1>may yet do her some good. That would be my hope,
<v Speaker 1>you know, with her going over there. But again, you
<v Speaker 1>take one gander on Twitter and she's she's very popular.
<v Speaker 1>It's not hard to see why, but she's very popular.
<v Speaker 1>And in the main event, we had the aw World
<v Speaker 1>champion Kenny Omega teaming up with his all in opponent
<v Speaker 1>Will Osprey and the Continental Champion John Moxley to take
<v Speaker 1>on the Don Kallis family, which in this In this
<v Speaker 1>example was the CMLL world champion Hetchesero, Brian Cage, and
<v Speaker 1>Jake Doyle. So the story here, John Moxley didn't want
<v Speaker 1>to have anything to do with Kenny Omega. Kenny Omega
<v Speaker 1>didn't want to have anything to do with John Boxley.
<v Speaker 1>They didn't want to tag into each other. They were
<v Speaker 1>avoiding it. Ospbrey finally he urged Omega tag him in,
<v Speaker 1>and so finally he relented, didn't look very happy about it,
<v Speaker 1>kind of rolled his eyes, but he tagged him Boxley.
<v Speaker 1>So the Kallus family they isolated Moxley for a while.
<v Speaker 1>He recovered, he made a tag to Osprey. Doyle knocked
<v Speaker 1>Moxley off the apron and took down Omega, so the
<v Speaker 1>Heels were in control heading into the final commercial break.
<v Speaker 1>No twenty minute overrun tonight, by the way, which was
<v Speaker 1>very nice. I didn't get to watch the show live
<v Speaker 1>last week, but apparently there was a twenty two minute overrun,
<v Speaker 1>completely unnecessary. Osprey made a comeback. I had to make
<v Speaker 1>a choice, now who do I tang? So he chose Omega. Enough,
<v Speaker 1>that's right, enough of this crap, Hey Barry MK Barry says, enough,
<v Speaker 1>it's that brand new fifteen dollars super chet. Barry, thank you,
<v Speaker 1>Barry coming in the clutch. Look at that. Barry says, enough,
<v Speaker 1>is Julius still married? I don't know what you're asking
<v Speaker 1>me for that? The hell should? I know you're asking
<v Speaker 1>the wrong guy. I don't know what her marital status is,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm sure if you go and ask Japanese Twitter,
<v Speaker 1>they could probably clue you in. So anyway, he chose
<v Speaker 1>Omega to tag in, and that'll be something to watch
<v Speaker 1>if Moxley brings that up. You know the fact that
<v Speaker 1>Osprey did not tag him in, but he tagged in
<v Speaker 1>Kenny instead. Omega hit the forward roll into the slam
<v Speaker 1>and then the moon salt on Brian Cage only got
<v Speaker 1>a two count out of it. Hatchiso tagged, then he
<v Speaker 1>applied a whole series of submissions. Omega was crawling towards Moxley,
<v Speaker 1>but he couldn't make it. Moxley, though, jumped into the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He starts stomping on Hetchisera. Osprey flew into the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He took out Hetchisara and then Moxley hit a cutter.
<v Speaker 1>Osprey dove out onto Jake Doyle at ringside and Omega
<v Speaker 1>delivered a suplex to Brian Cage with a little help
<v Speaker 1>from John Moxley, but then Omega caught Moxley with an
<v Speaker 1>accidental V trigger. The accident was it the accidental knee strike?
<v Speaker 1>Osprey went to go check on his fellow death Rider.
<v Speaker 1>The Heels triple teamed Omega until Osprey made the same
<v Speaker 1>they tried for. I believe it was a double doomsday
<v Speaker 1>device on Omega and Osprey. Moxley, though, knocked Hetchisaro off
<v Speaker 1>the ropes Omega and Osprey. They delivered a V trigger
<v Speaker 1>and hidden blade combo to Hetchisaro and they pinned the
<v Speaker 1>CMLL World champion. This was the biggest surprise of the
<v Speaker 1>entire match, the entire show, Perhaps that it was Hetchisara
<v Speaker 1>who took the pin here and not Jake Doyle. Jake
<v Speaker 1>Doyle was spared, but they pinned the CMLL champion. AW
<v Speaker 1>would never, aw would never. The shoe was on the
<v Speaker 1>other foot never. So after the match, Omega handed Moxley
<v Speaker 1>the continental title. Right, everything seemed to be okay with
<v Speaker 1>these men. Tried to apologize, I didn't mean to hit
<v Speaker 1>you with that V trigger earlier. Moxley didn't want to
<v Speaker 1>hear any of this. He shoves him. Omega shoved them back.
<v Speaker 1>We got a face off between the two of them.
<v Speaker 1>Now Osprey's got to get in between them to try
<v Speaker 1>to separate them, and Omega, in the huff of everything,
<v Speaker 1>shoves Ospray down. So now Osprey gets back up to
<v Speaker 1>his feet. He's not happy. He's getting up in Omega's
<v Speaker 1>face and everything is breaking down. Here come the young
<v Speaker 1>Bucks down to the ring. Try to play peacemaker. Moxley
<v Speaker 1>shoves down Matt Jackson. Now they're all fighting. We got
<v Speaker 1>Moxley and Osprey are wrestling the Bucks on Sunday, So
<v Speaker 1>the four of them are going at it. Kenny Omega's
<v Speaker 1>looking at this going oh my god, and he's trying
<v Speaker 1>to get in between all of them and trying to
<v Speaker 1>put a stop to all this. Doyle got in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Doyle came up from behind Kenny. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>he was. I don't know what the plan was here.
<v Speaker 1>This came off very awkwardly. The Doyle really needed to
<v Speaker 1>play any role in this. Because Osprey's back was turned.
<v Speaker 1>He threw a back elbow, not realizing that he had
<v Speaker 1>hit Omega with it. Maybe maybe Doyle was out of position.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I just thought that whole sequence was
<v Speaker 1>a little weird. So he got hit with the accidental
<v Speaker 1>back elbow from Osprey, and all of a sudden, Trent
<v Speaker 1>Peretta and Rocky Romero randomly come down to the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and of course they get their asses handed to them
<v Speaker 1>by Omega, and they're both in the ropes, like draped
<v Speaker 1>over the middle rope. Omega is setting up to hit
<v Speaker 1>the ropes and come off with a couple of V triggers.
<v Speaker 1>As he hits the ropes and he comes off, Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight flies. I don't even think he was on the
<v Speaker 1>top rope. I think he flew in from the ramp.
<v Speaker 1>They had this short ramp to the ring and from
<v Speaker 1>off cameras, so we couldn't see exactly where he was,
<v Speaker 1>but it looked like he'd dove from the ramp, cleared
<v Speaker 1>the top rope and just blasted Omega right in the
<v Speaker 1>head with the TNT championship and he busted him open,
<v Speaker 1>so a belt shot right to the top of the skull.
<v Speaker 1>Knight held up the TNT title and the AW World title,
<v Speaker 1>and the show faded out with Kevin Knight holding both belts.
<v Speaker 1>Over a bloody Kenny Omega RPG weis or the new
<v Speaker 1>Patterson and Brisco. Well, Patterson and Brisco were far more entertaining.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you can't, you can't compare them. I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to be here in the comparison there. Maybe a
<v Speaker 1>Jane j Security might be a more apt comparison. Neither
<v Speaker 1>were as entertaining as Patterson and Brisco. It was, it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't It was quite the dive, I will I will
<v Speaker 1>say that visually it looked great because he just came
<v Speaker 1>flying in from out of nowhere and looks like he
<v Speaker 1>may have blasted him in the head of the belt
<v Speaker 1>a little too well. But anyway, so it was Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight standing tall. At the end of all this. They
<v Speaker 1>had to do something, you know, to give Night an
<v Speaker 1>edge heading into the main event on Sunday, because he
<v Speaker 1>has no chance of walking out as the world champion,
<v Speaker 1>and the best that you would hope for is that
<v Speaker 1>he goes in there. They have this incredible main event
<v Speaker 1>that just solidifies him in the minds of people who
<v Speaker 1>maybe are still doubters as to whether or not Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight is a future main event or in this company.
<v Speaker 1>Right Tony Kahan decided we're going to put him in
<v Speaker 1>this position. Of all the options or matches they could
<v Speaker 1>have potentially gone with here, this is the one that
<v Speaker 1>he chose. Why Why Well, I mean we kind of
<v Speaker 1>know why if fight Full is to be believed, and
<v Speaker 1>there's no reason not to believe Fightful. There was a
<v Speaker 1>report earlier today, and this was actually a reported days ago,
<v Speaker 1>but there was a new report that MJF was the
<v Speaker 1>driving creative behind the idea of having Kenny Omega defend
<v Speaker 1>the World Championship on this pay per view against Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight in the main event, and the report noted that
<v Speaker 1>MJF had long wanted whoever held the TNT championship to
<v Speaker 1>challenge Kenny after Kenny beat him for the world title. However,
<v Speaker 1>the idea wasn't tied specifically to Kevin Knight. Fightful Select
<v Speaker 1>reports that mjf's vision centered on the TNT champion filling
<v Speaker 1>that role regardless of who held the title at that time,
<v Speaker 1>and that's all well and good, and obviously MJF is
<v Speaker 1>a very influential voice. Tony trusts him. He's one of
<v Speaker 1>the few real draws that Tony Khan has in that
<v Speaker 1>company and I'm sure his voice carries a lot of
<v Speaker 1>weight and he can give his input and that's great.
<v Speaker 1>I maintained that it was foolish to not do that
<v Speaker 1>match on this pay per view, on a show called Redemption,
<v Speaker 1>with the story being built up in the way that
<v Speaker 1>it was. And again, it just it tied into this
<v Speaker 1>show so well and so perfectly and in Canada for
<v Speaker 1>Kenny to go in there and get his redemption. This
<v Speaker 1>gave Kenny a few extra weeks his champion. He hasn't
<v Speaker 1>defended it yet. This is gonna be his first title
<v Speaker 1>defense on Sunday. All it did was just it prolonged.
<v Speaker 1>It was not prolonged, but I mean it kind of
<v Speaker 1>gave us the inevitable a few weeks early. But I
<v Speaker 1>think that the timing of it and the location of it, it
<v Speaker 1>would have been so much better. It made so much
<v Speaker 1>more sense to do it this Sunday. And now they
<v Speaker 1>know they they may shoot some sort of angle at
<v Speaker 1>the end of the show that will tie into this
<v Speaker 1>whole omega Osprey Moxley thing. Maybe we see them make
<v Speaker 1>it appearance at the end, and if they could further
<v Speaker 1>that story for all in that's great. I still maintain
<v Speaker 1>it was a mistake. It was a mistake not to
<v Speaker 1>do Omega and MJF on this show, because that would
<v Speaker 1>have been the big main event on Sunday in the
<v Speaker 1>right place, at the right time. I don't care whose
<v Speaker 1>idea it was. I think that was a mistake, not
<v Speaker 1>that these two were not going to go out there
<v Speaker 1>and have a great match. But that's not the point.
<v Speaker 1>That's not the point. We know they're going to have
<v Speaker 1>a great match. I know that Kevin Knight has main
<v Speaker 1>event potential. I don't need AW to try to convince
<v Speaker 1>me of that. I've seen the guy work. I know
<v Speaker 1>what he's capable of. Clearly, Tony Khan is very high
<v Speaker 1>on him, has been since the Continental Classic last year,
<v Speaker 1>just given all the TV time he's gotten the position
<v Speaker 1>that he's been in. That's why I said, like before Dynasty,
<v Speaker 1>when they had the Gland match to crown the new
<v Speaker 1>TNT champion, I think I was the only one who
<v Speaker 1>even threw Kevin Knight's name out there. I didn't see
<v Speaker 1>anybody else mentioned Kevin Knight. I'm like, it's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight because Tony Khan is super high on this guy,
<v Speaker 1>and so he went in there and he won the
<v Speaker 1>TNT Championship. It wasn't a surprise to me. If you've
<v Speaker 1>been paying attention since December, then you would know that
<v Speaker 1>they see a lot in him. And that's great. Not
<v Speaker 1>that he's the only one. Kyle Fletcher is another. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you can go down the list of all the different
<v Speaker 1>you know, takeshta Fletcher Night. I mean, there's a bunch
<v Speaker 1>of guys that they are banking their future on in
<v Speaker 1>terms of young talents, and it's great. They have this
<v Speaker 1>nice like nucleus of young talent and Kevin Knight is
<v Speaker 1>right there near the top, and he's gonna have plenty
<v Speaker 1>of opportunities. I don't know that it had to be
<v Speaker 1>this Sunday. The fact that he's going to go in
<v Speaker 1>there and lose, that's not even the point, you know,
<v Speaker 1>because you can get over and still lose, like at
<v Speaker 1>the end of the day, that's not even that big
<v Speaker 1>of a deal. But this idea that you know, he
<v Speaker 1>wanted the TNT champion to go in there and you know,
<v Speaker 1>be the one to wrestle for the world title. Why
<v Speaker 1>you know we've seen this before. Why the desire to
<v Speaker 1>go back to this again? But anyway, As far as
<v Speaker 1>the main event itself, I thought it was solid. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>nothing great. We've had better main events on this show.
<v Speaker 1>It served its purpose, which was to further the issues
<v Speaker 1>between Omega and Moxley and in turn Omega and Osprey
<v Speaker 1>heading into London. We're going to see a lot more
<v Speaker 1>of this in the weeks to come. Right, people talk
<v Speaker 1>about story. This is the story. Everything that's happened since
<v Speaker 1>Osprey came back, it's all part of his story. His
<v Speaker 1>story was getting his neck broken last year, fighting through it,
<v Speaker 1>coming back, wanting to in his own words, when he
<v Speaker 1>came back, murder John Moxley. He was gonna murder this man.
<v Speaker 1>And not only did he not murder him, he lost
<v Speaker 1>to him. And so he was like a lost puppy.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't know, like he had no sense of direction.
<v Speaker 1>And then they started this whole like the Death Riders
<v Speaker 1>taking him under their wing, and it's all built up
<v Speaker 1>to this moment here where now John Moxley is in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of this right. As I said earlier, he's
<v Speaker 1>the conduit to the tensions that are going to begin
<v Speaker 1>to flare between these two men, and then coming out
<v Speaker 1>of all in if you assume that Osbury is going
<v Speaker 1>to win the championship. I still think Moxley will be
<v Speaker 1>right there, you know, to be that first challenger, because
<v Speaker 1>why wouldn't he be right Why wouldn't Moxley want to
<v Speaker 1>step in and get a shot at that title. I
<v Speaker 1>still maintain that's still the final test, you know, getting
<v Speaker 1>that win back over John Moxley. It's all been part
<v Speaker 1>of Osbury's story since he came back. So anyway, that
<v Speaker 1>was dynamite tonight again, an improvement over what we saw
<v Speaker 1>last week. By no means their best effort of the year,
<v Speaker 1>but we had a couple of really good matches on
<v Speaker 1>the show. We saw in the main event, again furthering
<v Speaker 1>that story. And now we have this Redemption pay per
<v Speaker 1>view on Sunday, which is in Montreal seven pm Eastern
<v Speaker 1>start time. So Tony bumped the start time of the
<v Speaker 1>show up by an hour because these shows are just
<v Speaker 1>fucking ridiculous. The last one was just beyond ridiculous and
<v Speaker 1>we went to a one o'clock in the morning. It's
<v Speaker 1>completely unnecessary. So bumping it up by an hour will
<v Speaker 1>help alleviate that a little bit. I hope that becomes
<v Speaker 1>the norm six pm start time for the buy in
<v Speaker 1>on the buy in. Apparently they are celebrating eighty years
<v Speaker 1>of the Rougeau wrestling dynasty. So Jacques Roujeau and I
<v Speaker 1>think Raymond Rougeau other members of the family will be there.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure Jacques will enjoy every moment of it. He
<v Speaker 1>loves he loves being in the spotlight. Here's the card
<v Speaker 1>for the main pay per view. Here we have the
<v Speaker 1>Death Riders. John Moxley and Will Osprey are going to
<v Speaker 1>be ticking on the Young Bucks Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going with the Bucks to get the win here.
<v Speaker 1>It's more interesting if Osprey and Moxley take the loss,
<v Speaker 1>and if the Bucks are going to be challenging Cope
<v Speaker 1>and Christian, they should get the win. Here we have
<v Speaker 1>the pain Maker. I'm sure this is going to be
<v Speaker 1>a bloody, brutal affair. Tamaso Champa is quaking in his
<v Speaker 1>boots as he prepares to step into combat with the
<v Speaker 1>pain Maker. Chris Jericho. This should be a win for Jericho.
<v Speaker 1>Jericho had sand thrown in his eyes in their first
<v Speaker 1>match of Beach Break and he lost. I think he
<v Speaker 1>gets his win back here. Watch for the power Drill
<v Speaker 1>Hikarushida will retain her TBS title over my World. I
<v Speaker 1>don't see a title change there. Cage and Cope defend
<v Speaker 1>the AW tag team titles against Claudio Impac. That'll be
<v Speaker 1>a win for Copeland and Christian in Canada. Mark Davis unfortunate.
<v Speaker 1>I think we have come to the end of his
<v Speaker 1>singles title run. Perhaps his only well hopefully it won't
<v Speaker 1>be his only one. I really like Mark Davis. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't mind seeing him one day with the international
<v Speaker 1>title or the TNT title. But he's going to be
<v Speaker 1>defending the national championship against Andrede l Edelo. I suspect
<v Speaker 1>we are going to have a new champion. Kyle Fletcher
<v Speaker 1>will defend the International title against Bandido all members of
<v Speaker 1>the Kallis family by his own word tonight ban from ringside.
<v Speaker 1>It will not help. Bandido will go down just as
<v Speaker 1>he did to John Moxley Forbidden Door. He's going to
<v Speaker 1>take the loss again here. Tekla Willow Nightingale aw Women's
<v Speaker 1>World Championship. To me, this one would be the toughest
<v Speaker 1>match to predict on the show. If I had to
<v Speaker 1>pick one match that I would look at and go
<v Speaker 1>you know, what. I'm not one hundred percent sure about this.
<v Speaker 1>This would be the one I'm gonna stick with Willow.
<v Speaker 1>This really could go either way. I don't think that
<v Speaker 1>they would bring Willow back in the way that they did,
<v Speaker 1>just to have her go in here and lose a
<v Speaker 1>lot of fanfare around her return. Very very suspect the
<v Speaker 1>way they got that TBS title off for her without
<v Speaker 1>beating her. I think it's because they had a bigger
<v Speaker 1>plan in mind for her, and the biggest thing you
<v Speaker 1>could do with her is have her go into London
<v Speaker 1>as the champion against Mercedes. I think we're gonna have
<v Speaker 1>a new champion and Kenny Omega will defend the aw
<v Speaker 1>World Championship and retain against the TNT champion, Kevin Knight.
<v Speaker 1>That is your main event. That is your card for
<v Speaker 1>redemption this Sunday. I will be live for this one
<v Speaker 1>on YouTube when it's over, so we'll have the live
<v Speaker 1>review going on Sunday night early Monday morning. That is
<v Speaker 1>the card. The Wheel earlier said three point ninety was
<v Speaker 1>the goal. We are at three seventy four, so we
<v Speaker 1>are what sixteen away? We're only sixteen off from the goal,
<v Speaker 1>so let's work on that. I'm gonna work on your
<v Speaker 1>super chats. They're super ccien Sina. Look that he's powering up. Hey, Greg,
<v Speaker 1>welcome to the channel. Look at this Joe Hendry. He
<v Speaker 1>gets more airtime on my channel than he does on Raw.
<v Speaker 1>He popped up early. We've had some new subscribers tonight.
<v Speaker 1>We're climbing very close by the way to ninety three
<v Speaker 1>thousand subs. I think we're less than fifty away. Joseph,
<v Speaker 1>Happy Wednesday to you, brother, and he says Happy Birthday
<v Speaker 1>to Sean Michaels. Yeah. How old is hbk? Now? Too old?
<v Speaker 1>I think to be singing that theme song anymore. He
<v Speaker 1>hasn't been the Heartbreak Kid in about twenty five years,
<v Speaker 1>for being honest, Maybe not twenty five, maybe fifteen. What
<v Speaker 1>are your thoughts on the clay Face trailer. I loved it.
<v Speaker 1>I loved it. I winced. I had to look away
<v Speaker 1>in the airplane bathroom scene when he pulled the scissors out.
<v Speaker 1>Can't wait. It's hard to believe that's the DC movie.
<v Speaker 1>Do you remember WWE making an Undertaker comic book series
<v Speaker 1>during the Attitude era. It had Mankind and Caine as
<v Speaker 1>the villains. I do not I remember the Ultimate Warrior comic.
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember that comic. The back Ache Kid just
<v Speaker 1>added a ladder match. What are you talking? What ladder match?
<v Speaker 1>What are you talking about? Joseph says Bo Dallas's ninety
<v Speaker 1>days is over tomorrow. Will we see him in AW
<v Speaker 1>or do you think he is done with wrestling? Do
<v Speaker 1>you see him coming back to WWE in the future.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I can't speak to what his future plans are.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think we see him in AW. I'll just
<v Speaker 1>say that first much better chance, if anything, if he
<v Speaker 1>wants to continue wrestling, we see him in TNA, We're not.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think we're going to see him in AW.
<v Speaker 1>Do I see him going back to WWE? Probably not.
<v Speaker 1>You know, this was what his second or third stint,
<v Speaker 1>But I definitely don't see him in AW. Tony has
<v Speaker 1>enough WWE people that are going to be free shortly
<v Speaker 1>who he'll have a greater desire to bring in than
<v Speaker 1>Bo Dallas. If Bo Dallas wants to wrestle, though he
<v Speaker 1>could do indies. Like I said, TNA could be a
<v Speaker 1>good landing spot for him. AW is not going to
<v Speaker 1>be that place. Do you remember Sting had his hair
<v Speaker 1>in a Ponytail when he was in the wolf Pack.
<v Speaker 1>I do it was brief though, right, I think that
<v Speaker 1>was only for a brief period of time. Yeah, Ponytail
<v Speaker 1>sting was not my favorite version of sting. How would
<v Speaker 1>you have booked wrestle many a two thousand of Austin
<v Speaker 1>an undertaker had wrestled on the show. Well, I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>have had him against each other. I would have had
<v Speaker 1>them doing other things. Austin probably would have ended up
<v Speaker 1>in the four Way. Why didn't we get hurt angle
<v Speaker 1>against Rampage Jackson in TNA? I don't know, asked Dixie,
<v Speaker 1>asked Dixie Carter. I have no idea. Do you remember
<v Speaker 1>Bulah McGillicutty from ECW? Of course? How can I forget?
<v Speaker 1>And do you remember Raven's ballet? Kimona Kimona Wanna, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>yes I do. I remember when she danced atop the
<v Speaker 1>ECW arena. I believe there was a like a blackout
<v Speaker 1>or something and they had to kill time, so they
<v Speaker 1>sent Kimona sent Kimona up there to do like a
<v Speaker 1>strip tease. It's DCW for you. D you see Tekla
<v Speaker 1>being a crossover star in Hollywood or other? No? I don't.
<v Speaker 1>Masters of the Universe is out on Prime. There you go.
<v Speaker 1>There's your public service announcement from Joseph if you want
<v Speaker 1>to see Masters of the Universe. I enjoyed it. I
<v Speaker 1>thought it was good. You can watch it on Prime.
<v Speaker 1>It's out right now, Hey, Joseph, thank you. Brother death
<v Speaker 1>Site says on SmackDown, I'm expecting Sammy Zaan to confront
<v Speaker 1>Nick all This and say, Nick, you better make this right.
<v Speaker 1>Otherwise I'm going to forget that you're my boss. Well, then,
<v Speaker 1>I guess after Summer Slim, Nick all This will have
<v Speaker 1>a second match, They'll have a second opponent to work with.
<v Speaker 1>Sammy is absolutely owed a championship match, and I think
<v Speaker 1>he should get first crack coming out of Summer Slim.
<v Speaker 1>It's the only fair thing to do. Dry Chicken says,
<v Speaker 1>I checked out some clips of WWE Unreal Season three.
<v Speaker 1>My reaction is four letters, one word neat. I'm just
<v Speaker 1>going to start saying the word neat when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to WWE. Yeah, I watched episode one. I haven't had
<v Speaker 1>time for the others. I'll get to it when I
<v Speaker 1>get to it. It was more important for me to
<v Speaker 1>watch Dark Side of the Ring, which I enjoyed. So
<v Speaker 1>we'll have that latest review coming up on Sunday. Stephen
<v Speaker 1>b oh actually dry Chicken says, I love Tekla. She's
<v Speaker 1>such a villain from the nineties. Tecla just she understands
<v Speaker 1>her character and she's very good at it. We have
<v Speaker 1>Stephen say, my Giants and your Mets are the worst
<v Speaker 1>teams ever. Yeah, I mean the Mets are garbage. Why
<v Speaker 1>you would play Brett Bady in the outfield when he
<v Speaker 1>fucking sucks and he's not an outfielder, but you put
<v Speaker 1>him out there anyway, and so of course he's bobbling
<v Speaker 1>balls and this team doesn't know what they're doing. It's
<v Speaker 1>just the gang that can't shoot straight. I just I
<v Speaker 1>don't understand it. It's like it comes so effortlessly. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think they could be this bad if they tried
<v Speaker 1>to be this bad. It just comes naturally. Devin framje
<v Speaker 1>buy or sell which Canadian great wrestler was or is
<v Speaker 1>a worse promo? Kenny Omega or Chris Benoit. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>mean they were both not great promos. Who is the
<v Speaker 1>worst promo? Omega? Ben While at least there was an
<v Speaker 1>intensity to his promos and his delivery and a seriousness
<v Speaker 1>to it that I struggle with in a lot of
<v Speaker 1>Kenney Omega promos. San Juan Wolf, I hope you're having
<v Speaker 1>a great day, he says, Today's my twenty eighth birthday,
<v Speaker 1>and it's been awesome so far. I just wanted to
<v Speaker 1>pop in and say hello, Well, I'm I'm happy that
<v Speaker 1>you're having a great birthday, and I wish you a
<v Speaker 1>very happy birthday. Here's the twenty eight more times five.
<v Speaker 1>I hope you get everything you want. Barry, thank you
<v Speaker 1>for the fifteen breaking. In the new super Chat, Barry says,
<v Speaker 1>I wish TNA did better against Raw in twenty ten.
<v Speaker 1>There was a lot of bad but TNA was a
<v Speaker 1>more interesting show than Raw at the time. Dude, it
<v Speaker 1>was a predictable disaster. You don't go head to head
<v Speaker 1>when you are ill prepared and don't have the finances
<v Speaker 1>and the resources to go head to head. They did
<v Speaker 1>to predictable results. They shot themselves in the foot, and
<v Speaker 1>they didn't have to do that. But there were people
<v Speaker 1>there who had visions of days gone by dancing in
<v Speaker 1>their heads, not realizing that that time had come and gone.
<v Speaker 1>You were never going to be able to replicate that
<v Speaker 1>and we have now? Is it Simon Simon Elijah? I
<v Speaker 1>hope I'm saying your name right. Simon s im An
<v Speaker 1>Yo Solo have been a big fan since the early
<v Speaker 1>twenty tens. Who would, in no particular order, be your
<v Speaker 1>top five wrestlers of all time? Mine is Brett Hart,
<v Speaker 1>Stone Cold, CM, Punk the Rock, and HBK. I don't
<v Speaker 1>really have a set list off the top of my head,
<v Speaker 1>but I could tell you that Brett Hart and Randy
<v Speaker 1>Savage are on the Certainly as a kid, Hogan would
<v Speaker 1>have been on there. Austin, I think that's a safe choice.
<v Speaker 1>Very few people had the swagger of Steve Austin when
<v Speaker 1>the glass would shatter and he would come walking out.
<v Speaker 1>They're airing this twenty four hour round the clock Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slim Marathon on the Vault Channel, so I just popped
<v Speaker 1>in earlier just to see what was on. It was
<v Speaker 1>the Actually it wasn't the event they were playing. It
<v Speaker 1>was like behind the scenes Summer Slim moments, but they
<v Speaker 1>showed the entrances for the Highway to Hell main event
<v Speaker 1>between Stone Cold and the Undertaker, So like Undertaker comes
<v Speaker 1>out first and then they kill the music and they
<v Speaker 1>let the tension, build and build and build, and then
<v Speaker 1>finally boom, the glass shatters. And they had for his entrance,
<v Speaker 1>they had this thing just like of glass with like
<v Speaker 1>a skeleton on it, and it just shatters, and then
<v Speaker 1>he comes sauntering on out, just with that fucking attitude
<v Speaker 1>about him. It'll never be another. There'll never be another.
<v Speaker 1>So what I say is that five or four? I
<v Speaker 1>think I gave you four. I don't know you accurd Angle.
<v Speaker 1>I would rate him pretty highly. It's it's just it's
<v Speaker 1>tough to narrow it down to just five. But good
<v Speaker 1>to hear from you. Brother. EJ. Slam drove home from
<v Speaker 1>Milwaukee listening to Uncrowned and Brett's audio book. You mentioned
<v Speaker 1>Siva Afy slash Shaft, then Brett did too. I never
<v Speaker 1>heard of him crazy timing. Yeah, that's eerie, that is
<v Speaker 1>very eerie. But yeah, I talked about the death of
<v Speaker 1>I didn't talk about it on the sound of but
<v Speaker 1>I'm Uncrowned. I did a little segment at the end
<v Speaker 1>about in WWF on TV he was actually Cbaffy, and
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned some very interesting facts about Cbaffi, especially his
<v Speaker 1>post career. So you can check out Uncrowned for that
<v Speaker 1>and the Uffman says, six way ladder match? What for redemption?
<v Speaker 1>We already had nine. We already had nine with the
<v Speaker 1>Dogs match. Now there's ten. A six way ladder match
<v Speaker 1>Jack Perry Commander Speedball, then the winners of ar Fox
<v Speaker 1>against Nick Wayne and Leo Rush against l Clone on Collision.
<v Speaker 1>That's five. You said it's a six way ladder match.
<v Speaker 1>That's only five. You're missing one. I'd love to see
<v Speaker 1>Leo rushwin that. I'm a big fan of the black Heart.
<v Speaker 1>In fact, the black Heart is coming to House of
<v Speaker 1>Glory in a few weeks and he's going to be
<v Speaker 1>wrestling on that show. Well, I guess we have nine
<v Speaker 1>matches confirmed, and I'm sure they'll be there'll be ten
<v Speaker 1>or eleven at the end of everything, because they'll probably
<v Speaker 1>add some to the pre show, although I guess if
<v Speaker 1>they're doing that rouge out thing on the pre show,
<v Speaker 1>they may not fit as many matches in there. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure we'll get to ten matches. He's not going to
<v Speaker 1>be able to help himself. Well, there you go, all
<v Speaker 1>caught up on your messages, all caught up on the
<v Speaker 1>latest updates. Oh okay, Buffman has an update for us.
<v Speaker 1>The six men in the ladder match. Beast Morte's of
<v Speaker 1>course beasts more because they're in Canada. We haven't seen
<v Speaker 1>Beast Morteas on TV because he's probably having visa issues
<v Speaker 1>in Canada. The visa issues don't apply, so he can
<v Speaker 1>appear all right, so Beast Mortos that is in. I
<v Speaker 1>still would rather see Leo Rushwin. Hoffman says for the
<v Speaker 1>number one contender, shit for the international title. So the
<v Speaker 1>winner of that match is going to wrestle Kyle Fletcher.
<v Speaker 1>I presume that would be a dynamite match and not
<v Speaker 1>not the all in match. Obviously nitty gritty with a
<v Speaker 1>four ninety nine. Weiss uploaded the Samoa Joe necro Butcher
<v Speaker 1>episode of Dark Side of the Ring. Yes, I noticed
<v Speaker 1>that this morning. It's apparently they're gonna be doing that
<v Speaker 1>for every episode, which is fucking awesome. They should have
<v Speaker 1>been doing that from the beginning. I think they finally
<v Speaker 1>realized they were losing the war against people pirrating the
<v Speaker 1>full episodes of the show, so I'm very happy to
<v Speaker 1>see that first thing. On Wednesday mornings, they're putting the
<v Speaker 1>full episodes up. That's great. So yeah, if you want
<v Speaker 1>to check out the full episode, you can go ahead
<v Speaker 1>and check it out. It's up on the Vice YouTube
<v Speaker 1>channel right now. Next week, I believe, is the Big
<v Speaker 1>Boss Man episode of Dark Side of the Ring. We
<v Speaker 1>got Misfit Wrestling podcast that with the twelve dollars Learning
<v Speaker 1>Tree says, I'll just say this, just don't be surprised
<v Speaker 1>if an emergency live stream is announced by Marigold in
<v Speaker 1>the next few hours, and if there is, you'll know
<v Speaker 1>exactly who it's for. I mean, you wouldn't be happy
<v Speaker 1>to you wouldn't happy to be talking about It's just
<v Speaker 1>a guess. EJ. Slimp coming in with a four ninety
<v Speaker 1>nine says, two years ago, my White Sox were the
<v Speaker 1>worst team in baseball history. Now they're in first. It
<v Speaker 1>can change for the Mets in a year or two.
<v Speaker 1>Keep the fit in a year or two. You don't
<v Speaker 1>how many years I've been hearing this. Well there's always
<v Speaker 1>next year. Sure, I wish I could be as optimistic
<v Speaker 1>as you. But congrats, though, that's very impressive that it'd
<v Speaker 1>go from the worst team in baseball history to being
<v Speaker 1>number one is a very impressive turnaround. All right, Well,
<v Speaker 1>we hit the main goal, so we get one round.
<v Speaker 1>Here be the booker. Thankfully, the wheel landed on a
<v Speaker 1>more reasonable number tonight that was three ninety I believe
<v Speaker 1>we're a three ninety four, three ninety five. So with
<v Speaker 1>that in mind, let's go ahead and be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>Ladies and gentlemen. Now, let's do it to be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>Let's do it and get the hell on out of here.
<v Speaker 1>We got three match the book and I want them
<v Speaker 1>to be good, good matches. See see, Tony, you don't
<v Speaker 1>need nine, well you need are three really good ones.
<v Speaker 1>We have the Dirty Heels from Impact Wrestling, Bobby Rude
<v Speaker 1>and Austin Ayres. I was a fan of the Dirty Heels.
<v Speaker 1>I like them as a team, and they will be
<v Speaker 1>wrestling and losing to the two man Power Trip Stone
<v Speaker 1>Cold Steve, Austin and Triple H against the Dirty Heel
<v Speaker 1>My God, Bobby Rude and Triple H in the ring together,
<v Speaker 1>Triple H and cosplay Triple H as some people used
<v Speaker 1>to call him, especially when he had the hair that
<v Speaker 1>was a thing for a while, Triple H Junior Triple
<v Speaker 1>H Cosplay. On the lady side, we have Zaria from
<v Speaker 1>NXT and she will be taking on Alisha Fox. Alisha
<v Speaker 1>Fox or I guess as she would be in TNA
<v Speaker 1>these days, Victoria Crawford. That's a no for me. And
<v Speaker 1>there goes the sweep wish it happy trails, there it
<v Speaker 1>goes and our main event. The man who was in
<v Speaker 1>the main event tonight on Dynamite, John Moxley. You would
<v Speaker 1>never know that he was part of the Shield. He was.
<v Speaker 1>They tried their best to cut him out of all
<v Speaker 1>those Shield video packages they did this week for the
<v Speaker 1>Roman and Seth stuff. He still worked his way into
<v Speaker 1>a few of them, but they tried their damnedest to
<v Speaker 1>cut him out of it. You would never know. It's
<v Speaker 1>as if he was never part of the Shield. The
<v Speaker 1>Shield was a two man crew. So we don't hide
<v Speaker 1>him here. There's no there's no editing or blurring of
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley. He's going to be in the main event
<v Speaker 1>against El Grandi Americano og Americano. I have to be
<v Speaker 1>very specific, O g El Grande Americano Gable against John Moxley.
<v Speaker 1>Would have been a fit. If it was Alicia Fox
<v Speaker 1>against Molina, well they're both in there could have been.
<v Speaker 1>It could have been Malina against Alisha Fox. That was
<v Speaker 1>Cameron's favorite match of all time. Remember Cameron to the
<v Speaker 1>funk of dactyls Arianne that was her favorite match, and
<v Speaker 1>stone Cold was just he was floored when she said
<v Speaker 1>this on Tough Enough floored. I tell you he couldn't
<v Speaker 1>believe his ears. Warhawk Rambo with a five. I know
<v Speaker 1>the pain. I am a Commander's fan, and Dan Snyder
<v Speaker 1>as an owner sucked. We are better now. Don't give
<v Speaker 1>up hope. It just seems to get worse and worse
<v Speaker 1>and Misfit Wrestling podcast Dan Housen sadly cannot uncurse the Mets.
<v Speaker 1>They are uncursable. Yeah, I feel like if he, uh,
<v Speaker 1>if he tried to uncurse the Mets, it's it's impossible.
<v Speaker 1>It can't be done. I think he tried earlier this year.
<v Speaker 1>It didn't work. It didn't take the first time. Dry Shacken,
<v Speaker 1>says Zaria against Victoria Crawford. Japanese commentary. Japanese commentary is great.
<v Speaker 1>There were a lot of times I would watch those
<v Speaker 1>Wrestle Kingdom shows and I would intentionally watch with the
<v Speaker 1>Japanese commentary on. It's just yeah, I don't understand what
<v Speaker 1>they're saying, but it's the enthusiasm, especially you get into
<v Speaker 1>the waning minutes of like a big main event, and
<v Speaker 1>they're just so excited. You could just you could feel it.
<v Speaker 1>It's just that energy is there. You know, I don't
<v Speaker 1>even need to understand what they're saying. Wrestling is its
<v Speaker 1>own language that in certain situations, even if you don't
<v Speaker 1>know the words, you know what they're saying without actually
<v Speaker 1>knowing what they're saying. S fallen with a five. Been
<v Speaker 1>a subscriber for five years and I haven't donated in
<v Speaker 1>two or so. Needs to change. I agree, Thank you, brother,
<v Speaker 1>It's good to hear from you. Pop in more often.
<v Speaker 1>At least city Field has great stadium food. Solo they
<v Speaker 1>got Shake Shack Man, Hey, shake Shack's got good food.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't been to city Field though in a while.
<v Speaker 1>It's been a couple of seasons. If they gave me
<v Speaker 1>a reason to go back there, I would go. Lucky
<v Speaker 1>Dog in the chat says that's why I love watching
<v Speaker 1>Ricky versus Tiger Mask in Japanese commentary, it is the best.
<v Speaker 1>It really is, man, it's infectious. Well, thank you for
<v Speaker 1>hanging out with me. Here for another dynamite stream, very
<v Speaker 1>very succinct here not even ninety minutes. See, I got
<v Speaker 1>you in. I got you out. I am going to
<v Speaker 1>get you back here with me, hopefully on Friday night
<v Speaker 1>for the SmackDown stream. I have a feeling this is
<v Speaker 1>where tensions boil over between CM Punk and Cody Roads.
<v Speaker 1>We have two very similar stories going on at the
<v Speaker 1>same time right now in both companies, two babyfaces in
<v Speaker 1>Omega and Osprey, tensions are boiling over. And then on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>two baby faces in punkin Cody with tensions boiling over.
<v Speaker 1>What was it like going to Shae Stadium? Back then?
<v Speaker 1>Shae Stadium was a dump, but it was our dump.
<v Speaker 1>I had a fondness for it. I started going to
<v Speaker 1>games at Shay Stadium when I was a wee little lad.
<v Speaker 1>I still have my nineteen what year was it eighty seven?
<v Speaker 1>My New York Mets nineteen eighty seven or eighty eight,
<v Speaker 1>eighty seven eighty seven year book? Still have it. Gary
<v Speaker 1>Carter was my favorite, Please was a catcher? Gary Carter
<v Speaker 1>was my favorite Met. And then Darryl Strawberry got a
<v Speaker 1>lot of great memories. Hey, Michael Darcy coming in with
<v Speaker 1>a twelve dollars learning tree, trying to get the last
<v Speaker 1>word in here. Look at that. I'm gonna Gi him
<v Speaker 1>a little little heart there a little heart emoji from
<v Speaker 1>the Solen Monster. Michael says, my power just went out,
<v Speaker 1>So here's the learning tree. Oh shit, that sucks. I
<v Speaker 1>guess you're on your phone. Well, hopefully it comes back on.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know where you are, but hopefully you're not
<v Speaker 1>somewhere where it's really hot and you have no air conditioning,
<v Speaker 1>because that's the worst I've had that before. We've had
<v Speaker 1>some famous blackouts here in New York City in the summer.
<v Speaker 1>Not fun Chicago for MBK. Look at this guy dropping
<v Speaker 1>a gifted membership on a very lucky person, Clint Hardy.
<v Speaker 1>Clint was gifted a membership by Chicago for MBK. You'd
<v Speaker 1>love to see it, EJ with the four ninety nine.
<v Speaker 1>I've been to twenty ballparks. City Field had the friendliest
<v Speaker 1>usher I've ever met as a New Yorker. Would you
<v Speaker 1>rather have gone to Ebbits or the polo grounds Ebbitts?
<v Speaker 1>I wish I could have gone to abbots Field Kitty
<v Speaker 1>ushers at city Field they're also very nice. Hey, I
<v Speaker 1>got to go to the SkyDome when it was still
<v Speaker 1>the SkyDome. Now it's Is it still the Rogers Center
<v Speaker 1>or did they change the name again? I went it
<v Speaker 1>was still the SkyDome. It was only five years after
<v Speaker 1>Hogan Warrior. I went to a CFL game Toronto Argonauts game.
<v Speaker 1>I still have my ticket. Stuff very cheap to get in.
<v Speaker 1>T KO would be appalled at how cheap those tickets were. Wow,
<v Speaker 1>the d lock Lockyer car. Gary Carter is my all
<v Speaker 1>time favorite baseball player. Yeah, he was my favorite. Mat
<v Speaker 1>It's still the Rogers Center. Okay, good they didn't change
<v Speaker 1>it to uh Guaranteed rate Field, which apparently now is
<v Speaker 1>just rate Field. What well? He at least the White
<v Speaker 1>Sox are number one. I guess right, So it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>doesn't really matter. Oh man, WWE fans wanted WrestleMania at
<v Speaker 1>Yankee Stadium, and I don't think it's a good idea. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>WWE at city Field would be kind of interesting. City
<v Speaker 1>Field actually had a wrestling show there that I went to.
<v Speaker 1>Basically it was an independent event. This was a number
<v Speaker 1>of years ago. They had a bunch of big names
<v Speaker 1>on there. Scott Steiner, Goldberg was there. God that this
<v Speaker 1>was right after Scott Steiner got that. Was it a
<v Speaker 1>back tattoo or I think it was a chess tattoo.
<v Speaker 1>And even from where I was sitting, like, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you could see you know what it reminded me of.
<v Speaker 1>It reminded me of venom. It looked like the SYMBI.
<v Speaker 1>It was like taking over his body. I'm like, what
<v Speaker 1>the fuck is that? Michael Darcys's power is back, Thanks Solo.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how you did how you did it? Well?
<v Speaker 1>I look, I work my magic man. Sometimes I just
<v Speaker 1>have to think of something and it just happens. I
<v Speaker 1>can like will it into existence. It was a chest yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 1>it's a chest tattoo. It was to hide his pack.
<v Speaker 1>Why would he want to hide his pecks? Though? Pexer
<v Speaker 1>sagging is now what happens while that comes with age
<v Speaker 1>and then he can buy a man's ear or bro
<v Speaker 1>either day. Either name works. Didn't TNA have a few
<v Speaker 1>shows at Cityfield at city Field now EJ wwwf used
<v Speaker 1>to have shows at Shay Stadium, not the old Yankee Stadium. Right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they ran Shay It's a famous show from Shane in
<v Speaker 1>nineteen eighty. Actually they had a Hogan Andre match and
<v Speaker 1>I believe the main event was Sam Martino and Larry Zubisco,
<v Speaker 1>said Awa used to run the old Kamiski Park, but
<v Speaker 1>not Wriggly because Vern was smart. Well, he wasn't so
<v Speaker 1>smart that he kept Hogan. He allowed Hogan to become
<v Speaker 1>disgruntled and leave, and that was an all time fumble
<v Speaker 1>by verne Ganya that Hogan may have left anyway, e
<v Speaker 1>Vince came calling, but we'll never know. Have I seen
<v Speaker 1>maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. I've seen. I saw some of
<v Speaker 1>their earlier shows, none of their recent stuff. I love
<v Speaker 1>the fact they had they had Morrow on commentary. I
<v Speaker 1>think with Callous, I think that's great, and they've got
<v Speaker 1>a very impressive roster. I got to meet Scott de
<v Speaker 1>Moore backstage in Vegas at the Pearl because they had
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of different shows were running at the Pearl Theater.
<v Speaker 1>House of Glory had the last one that night. One
<v Speaker 1>of them may have been Maple Leaf and Scott was
<v Speaker 1>hanging around on headset even during you know Hog in
<v Speaker 1>the back, so I got to meet him. Very nice guy.
<v Speaker 1>TNA never should have let him go. It's another fumble
<v Speaker 1>on their part. That show took place eleven years ago,
<v Speaker 1>and I recall seeing clips of it on social media.
<v Speaker 1>City Field did have a pro wrestling show, and that's
<v Speaker 1>the same show that you mentioned. I need to go back.
<v Speaker 1>I need to go back find the SoundOff where I
<v Speaker 1>talked about it as I went to that show, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure I spoke about it on the sound off.
<v Speaker 1>I try to remember all the details about who put
<v Speaker 1>that what promoter put that show together. I just offhand,
<v Speaker 1>I don't recall all the details. And did I see
<v Speaker 1>the new Clayface trail? Yeah, somebody asked me that earlier.
<v Speaker 1>I saw it as soon as it dropped earlier today.
<v Speaker 1>And it's even better than the first one. First one
<v Speaker 1>was more of a teaser. First one was like a
<v Speaker 1>minute long. This one's like two minutes and it's really
<v Speaker 1>really good. October twenty, third week before Halloween it comes out.
<v Speaker 1>I will be seated. DC Comics does body Horror. I
<v Speaker 1>saw someone say that it looks like the male version
<v Speaker 1>of the Substance. I still haven't seen the Substance with
<v Speaker 1>Demi Moore. I think that won some awards too, didn't it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna have to check that out at some point.
<v Speaker 1>How do I maintain my sanity while watching WWE barely? Honestly,
<v Speaker 1>it's because of what I do here. It's a great
<v Speaker 1>creative outlet for me to vent, talk about what I like,
<v Speaker 1>talk about what I don't like. You guys get to
<v Speaker 1>share your opinions and thoughts, so I know I'm not
<v Speaker 1>completely going out of my mind when I say that
<v Speaker 1>something is shit. At least I know I'm not the
<v Speaker 1>only one who feels that way, and so it's good.
<v Speaker 1>It's good to have that kind of engagement and interaction,
<v Speaker 1>an outlet to opine on various things. If I didn't,
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know that I would bother anymore, honestly
<v Speaker 1>with it. You know, what would be the point? It's
<v Speaker 1>just so far removed from what it used to be.
<v Speaker 1>But you wait for those special moments and matches that
<v Speaker 1>kind of make it all worth it. We just don't
<v Speaker 1>get enough of them anymore, you know. They don't come
<v Speaker 1>around as frequently as they used to. All Right, I
<v Speaker 1>will see you guys on Friday for the SmackDown post show,
<v Speaker 1>and then this weekend is a busy one. We have
<v Speaker 1>a brand new SoundOff coming up on Sunday, episode nine
<v Speaker 1>seventy three, and then the Redemption live stream after the
<v Speaker 1>pay per view coming up on Sunday night. Go back
<v Speaker 1>and check out the Uncrowned Wrestling show from yesterday and
<v Speaker 1>anything else you may have missed. We got the raw
<v Speaker 1>post show up on the channel here. We had Tuesday
<v Speaker 1>Night Titans over with JD on his channel last night.
<v Speaker 1>We had a great discussion about various topics, plenty of
<v Speaker 1>content for you guys. Be well, stay safe, and I
<v Speaker 1>will see you back here for smack. Until then, take care, guys.
