<v Speaker 1>AW Redemption was the newest pay per view that AW
<v Speaker 1>added to its lineup many months ago. They added it
<v Speaker 1>to the calendar, the last stop pay per view wise,
<v Speaker 1>the last stop before we get to All in London.
<v Speaker 1>Redemption was a pay per view that had no reason
<v Speaker 1>to exist the moment that Kenny Omega beat mjf at
<v Speaker 1>Beach Break to win the AW World Championship. And there
<v Speaker 1>was nothing on this show tonight that we'll change my
<v Speaker 1>mind on that. This was the weakest pay per view
<v Speaker 1>that AW has produced all year, even though we had
<v Speaker 1>plenty of good matches on the show. They've had some
<v Speaker 1>great pay per views. This here and this one I
<v Speaker 1>would have to rank at the bottom of that list.
<v Speaker 1>Certainly one of the weaker shows that they've done. Like
<v Speaker 1>I said, not without some good matches. It was a struggle, though,
<v Speaker 1>I gotta tell you, it was a struggle with some
<v Speaker 1>of the matches on this show. And you could tell
<v Speaker 1>struggle even for the people in the building because they
<v Speaker 1>were very quiet for some of these matches in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of the show. And this is a show, by
<v Speaker 1>the way, that started an hour earlier. Tony Kahn said
<v Speaker 1>he was going to experiment by starting the show an
<v Speaker 1>hour earlier than usual, and they still went almost five
<v Speaker 1>full hours, So it didn't really make a difference in
<v Speaker 1>the end, I mean, at least this time. It didn't
<v Speaker 1>end at one o'clock in the morning, I guess. But
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the day, it didn't really make
<v Speaker 1>all that much of a difference. Kevin Knight rather and
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega, they were in the main event tonight. We
<v Speaker 1>had the TNT champion fighting for the aw World Championship.
<v Speaker 1>The outcome was never in doubt. It was never in doubt.
<v Speaker 1>So what do you expect. Do you expect to go
<v Speaker 1>into a match like this two great pro wrestlers to
<v Speaker 1>go out there and have a great pro wrestling match.
<v Speaker 1>But Kevin Knight was always going to be looking up
<v Speaker 1>at the lights at the end of it, and that's
<v Speaker 1>what happened. Kevin Knight lost. My takeaway from the match
<v Speaker 1>tonight is that Kevin Knight is in exactly the same
<v Speaker 1>spot he was in before, which is a great wrestler,
<v Speaker 1>a great young up and comer in this company who's
<v Speaker 1>had a lot of success this year and is going
<v Speaker 1>to have a lot of success in the future. But
<v Speaker 1>he is not ready to be in that spot. He
<v Speaker 1>is not ready to be in the Kenny Omega spot.
<v Speaker 1>He is nowhere near a Kenny Omega. Hopefully one day
<v Speaker 1>he will get there. This is not that time. When
<v Speaker 1>I watched Kyle Fletcher and Hangman page it all out
<v Speaker 1>last year. It was a very similar situation and I
<v Speaker 1>felt the same way then too. Kyle Fletcher, He'll get there,
<v Speaker 1>but he's not there yet. Same thing with Kevin Knight tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully he'll get there one day. He ain't there yet.
<v Speaker 1>The bigger story came when the main event was over,
<v Speaker 1>because they did this big angle with the Death Riders
<v Speaker 1>coming out to try to kill Kenny Omega. They were
<v Speaker 1>going to put him down, and will Osbury came out.
<v Speaker 1>He would not allow that to happen. Could not bring
<v Speaker 1>himself to deliver the kill shot, even though John Moxley
<v Speaker 1>had warned him earlier in the show that you do
<v Speaker 1>what needs to be done. This is the biggest opportunity
<v Speaker 1>of your career coming up. You need to do what
<v Speaker 1>you need to do. And the plastic bag came out.
<v Speaker 1>We've seen the plastic bag use before here from the
<v Speaker 1>Death Riders. Will Osprey could not bring himself to suffocate
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega to death, and so it led to Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Omega in the I mean Kenny Omega's laying there practically
<v Speaker 1>half dead anyway, but it led to will Osprey turning
<v Speaker 1>against the Death Riders. So for all these weeks that
<v Speaker 1>he's been training with them and he's been aligned with them,
<v Speaker 1>and they gave him the patch. Remember they gave him
<v Speaker 1>the patch to make it official, like he joined the club. Well,
<v Speaker 1>he's out of the club now. He beat up all
<v Speaker 1>the Death Riders. He refused to suffocate Kenny Omega and
<v Speaker 1>for his troubles. Once Kenny Omega came too and had
<v Speaker 1>a big smile on his face and the two of
<v Speaker 1>them were showing mutual respect. Right eh, we all talk
<v Speaker 1>about how boyd this is gonna get old real quick
<v Speaker 1>if the next four weeks five weeks is nothing but
<v Speaker 1>a love fest between Kenny Omega and Will Ospray. Who
<v Speaker 1>wants to see that? I don't. And when it was over,
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega decided to do what will Osprey couldn't do.
<v Speaker 1>He grabbed Ospray when he least expected it, and he
<v Speaker 1>put him down with a one winged angel and I
<v Speaker 1>saw some people, Oh my god, Kenny Omega turned heel. No,
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega did not turn heel. Kenny Omega did what
<v Speaker 1>will Osprey was unwilling to do. Kenny Omega saw the
<v Speaker 1>remnants of the plastic bag laying on the mat and
<v Speaker 1>was very upset about this. The fact that will Osprey
<v Speaker 1>would even entertain the idea of choking him out with
<v Speaker 1>a plastic bag was enough to piss off Kenny Omegas
<v Speaker 1>so much that he decided to drop this man on
<v Speaker 1>his head, on his surgically repaired neck. And so the
<v Speaker 1>one really good thing to come out of this is
<v Speaker 1>that now we have five weeks until we get to
<v Speaker 1>wimbl STU and no more lovey dovey, no more brother brother,
<v Speaker 1>I love you, I respect you. Good luck right, all
<v Speaker 1>smiles and rainbows, no more of this right now, these
<v Speaker 1>two men have reason to have heat with each other,
<v Speaker 1>and that should make the television a little more interesting
<v Speaker 1>than the two of them having a mutual admiration society.
<v Speaker 1>So I was happy to see that. And obviously John
<v Speaker 1>Moxley is going to be waiting in the wings should
<v Speaker 1>will Ospury win that championship, to be probably his first
<v Speaker 1>challenger coming out of Wembley Stadium. So they did shoot
<v Speaker 1>a big angle. They could have done the exact same
<v Speaker 1>thing though, on a big episode of Dynamite. So when
<v Speaker 1>I tell you that this was a pay per view
<v Speaker 1>that did not need to exist, that's what I mean.
<v Speaker 1>Not that there weren't newsworthy things that went down on
<v Speaker 1>this show, but the whole point of this show was redemption,
<v Speaker 1>and as soon as they bumped that match up, the
<v Speaker 1>whole point of the show was lost. They're almost better
<v Speaker 1>of renaming the show next year. They want to have
<v Speaker 1>a pay per view between Forbidden Door and All In
<v Speaker 1>call it something else because it didn't really apply here.
<v Speaker 1>We had two title changes on this show. Willow Nightingale
<v Speaker 1>is the new AW Women's World Champion. I wasn't really
<v Speaker 1>a fan of the way that she won it. I
<v Speaker 1>am happy to see her win the championship. We are
<v Speaker 1>getting the match at all in that I expected that
<v Speaker 1>we were going to be ginning. I've been telling you
<v Speaker 1>it's going to be Willow and Mercedes Monette. Tekla would
<v Speaker 1>have been great, but it didn't seem like that was
<v Speaker 1>what they were really setting up for. Question now, is
<v Speaker 1>Willow going to end up being a transitional champion? I
<v Speaker 1>actually think she won't. We still have five weeks. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>I'll change my mind, But as I sit here right now,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that people are freaking out. Oh this
<v Speaker 1>is so unfair. She won the title, She's going to
<v Speaker 1>just turn around and lose it and transition it over
<v Speaker 1>to Mercedes necessarily. But we are getting that match, and
<v Speaker 1>now that match is official for all. In the other
<v Speaker 1>title changes that we had Andrede l Edelo is the
<v Speaker 1>new national champion. He beat Mark Davis. I'm devastated. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not happy about this. Rest in peace to the national
<v Speaker 1>title run of Mark Davis and Maya World. The woman
<v Speaker 1>who had no business even being in the finals of
<v Speaker 1>the owen Hart Tournament, wasn't even supposed to be in
<v Speaker 1>the tournament went on to almost win the entire thing.
<v Speaker 1>She had her big coming out party in the finals
<v Speaker 1>against Mercedes. And now she has her first taste of
<v Speaker 1>gold in AAW and I'm happy that it's in aw
<v Speaker 1>and not on the Ring of Honor brand, but in
<v Speaker 1>AW where people will at least be able to see her.
<v Speaker 1>She beat Shidah. She is the new TBS champion. So
<v Speaker 1>we had some title changes on the show tonight. We
<v Speaker 1>had another big match made official for Wembley, which is
<v Speaker 1>Coping Christian. They're going to be defending their tag team
<v Speaker 1>titles against the Young Bucks, and we'll go through everything
<v Speaker 1>else that happened here on what was again a very
<v Speaker 1>weak show by AW standards compared to all their other
<v Speaker 1>pay per views this year. You get some good wrestling
<v Speaker 1>out of it, but I'm watching this show and I'm
<v Speaker 1>just thinking, man, this show really didn't need to take place.
<v Speaker 1>You know, a lot of the things they shot and
<v Speaker 1>a lot of the things they did on this show,
<v Speaker 1>and you got, like the big Grand Slam Mexico show
<v Speaker 1>coming up in a few weeks could have been saved
<v Speaker 1>for television, and then you just kind of build towards
<v Speaker 1>towards Wembley. There were matches on this show that as
<v Speaker 1>I'm watching them, I've just I felt like, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>and we're gonna get into what happened with the Dogs
<v Speaker 1>and the Bang Bang Gang, which is one of the
<v Speaker 1>worst things I've seen on AW pay per view ever.
<v Speaker 1>I fucking hated that match. Usually when I watched these
<v Speaker 1>pay per views, there isn't a match where I go, oh,
<v Speaker 1>I hated that that was garbage, But can't say that anymore.
<v Speaker 1>Let's go through this card. It's late. I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to keep you eyes up all night. They can't help themselves.
<v Speaker 1>So let's talk about redemption. This is your AW redemption
<v Speaker 1>pay per view review. It is now officially Monday morning,
<v Speaker 1>July twenty seventh, twenty twenty six. I am the Soloma,
<v Speaker 1>So yes, this is the pay per view equivalent of
<v Speaker 1>this could have been an email. Yes, yes, that is
<v Speaker 1>a good way of putting it. I can subscribe. Super
<v Speaker 1>chats are open. We got a couple of new ones,
<v Speaker 1>a new fourteen dollars one, a new fifteen dollars one.
<v Speaker 1>All of them are listed down to the description down below.
<v Speaker 1>If you're so inclined, I will be reading your messages
<v Speaker 1>a little bit later on here on the stream, so
<v Speaker 1>go ahead and get them on in. Let's bust out
<v Speaker 1>the Wheel, a late edition of the Wheel, so we
<v Speaker 1>can get going here and see if we're going to
<v Speaker 1>be doing our Be the Booker segment? Can we have
<v Speaker 1>a redemption version of Be the Booker tonight? Find out now?
<v Speaker 1>Maybe not? I don't know. Five hundred and thirty likes
<v Speaker 1>is quite the tall task for an AW show. It's
<v Speaker 1>quite the tall task. Hit that like button, hit that
<v Speaker 1>button five hundred and thirty times, and we'll do it
<v Speaker 1>all right, let's talk about this show now. There was
<v Speaker 1>a buy in pre show. Good morning, Antran, he says,
<v Speaker 1>good morning, there was a buy in pre show. They
<v Speaker 1>were in Montreal for this show, and they were paying
<v Speaker 1>homage to the Rougeau wrestling dynasty eighty years of the Rougeous.
<v Speaker 1>So they had Daddy Magic Matt Monard come down to
<v Speaker 1>the ring to introduce Jacques and Raymond Rougeau down to
<v Speaker 1>the ring. Tony Shavanni pointed out that ray Rougeau is
<v Speaker 1>the mayor of a nearby city. He didn't tell us
<v Speaker 1>which city, but he told us that he is currently
<v Speaker 1>a mayor. And you could tell that he's a mayor
<v Speaker 1>because as soon as he got the microphone, you couldn't
<v Speaker 1>shut him up. Spoken in French, he spoke for what
<v Speaker 1>felt like twenty five minutes. He just kept going and
<v Speaker 1>going and going and going and going and going and going.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure Jacques on the inside was burning up. Ray
<v Speaker 1>was infringing on his time. Yeah, the two brothers, they
<v Speaker 1>had a falling out many years ago. I would love
<v Speaker 1>to know what the fallout was was about. But they
<v Speaker 1>seemed to be on good terms now. So after Ray
<v Speaker 1>was done talking and he thanked Tony Kahan, he thanked
<v Speaker 1>a w Jacques took the mic. He spoke in French
<v Speaker 1>and he turned heel. He turned heel on the fans.
<v Speaker 1>Here he said, you can kiss my ass, and he
<v Speaker 1>thanked the fans around the world, who booed them like
<v Speaker 1>all the haters in the crowd. Tonight, Jacques said that
<v Speaker 1>he had a dream and he asked the fans if
<v Speaker 1>they have their phones, so they all held out their
<v Speaker 1>phones and he told the fans to put the flashlights
<v Speaker 1>on on their phones, and then he led the fans
<v Speaker 1>in singing the ololol song. So then Rocky Romero comes
<v Speaker 1>out and he took issue with the fans, celebrating with
<v Speaker 1>the rougeaus like there's something special. He got in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He said, the only family in pro wrestling that matters
<v Speaker 1>is the Don Kallis family. And then he turned to
<v Speaker 1>Jacques and this was the line of the promo. Here
<v Speaker 1>he turned to Jacques and he said, man if I
<v Speaker 1>had a roll of quarters right now, and before he
<v Speaker 1>could finish, Jacques slapped him and then he held him
<v Speaker 1>while Ray kicked him and gave him like a karate
<v Speaker 1>kick in the gut. I love the role of Quarters
<v Speaker 1>reference if you're not familiar with it. It's the old
<v Speaker 1>story about the backstage incident in WWF in the late eighties,
<v Speaker 1>like eighty eight, probably with the Rougeaus and the British
<v Speaker 1>Bulldogs and in particular Dynamite kid, who was a bully
<v Speaker 1>and just in general not a good person, and Jacques
<v Speaker 1>just got tired of putting up with a shit and
<v Speaker 1>so one day he was kind of hiding out waiting
<v Speaker 1>for him to walk, and he smacked him right in
<v Speaker 1>the face with a roller quarters. I can't remember if
<v Speaker 1>it was just the roll of quarters where he put
<v Speaker 1>him in a sock, but he whacked him good in
<v Speaker 1>the face I think knocked out a whole bunch of teeth.
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite didn't bother him again after that. It's a pretty
<v Speaker 1>famous story as far as the Rougeo brothers. Look, when
<v Speaker 1>I grew up watching wrestling, the Rougeau's were part of
<v Speaker 1>this great tag team division that they had. You know,
<v Speaker 1>in the company back then you had the Hearts, and
<v Speaker 1>you had Stripe Force and Demolition and Powers of Pain
<v Speaker 1>and the Bulldogs and there were the fabulous Rougeau brothers
<v Speaker 1>with great entrance music. So that's my memory of them. Also,
<v Speaker 1>jacquesra Jeau owns a rare clean pinfall wind over Hulk Hogan,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm saying hul Cogan when he was at the
<v Speaker 1>peak of his Hollywood Hogan nWo persona in ninety seven
<v Speaker 1>clean pinfall win. Probably Hogan figure, well, this is not
<v Speaker 1>airing anywhere, it's not airing on TV. Thankfully we have
<v Speaker 1>fancam video out there to prove that it actually happened,
<v Speaker 1>because if it didn't. If it didn't, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>that I would believe this even existed, that it ever happened,
<v Speaker 1>but you can't find it. The only match they had
<v Speaker 1>on the pre show was Orange Cassidy Roderick Stran kylo'
<v Speaker 1>riilly again to j Lethal, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson
<v Speaker 1>for the aw trios titles. The Lethal Twist Newsflash the
<v Speaker 1>Lethal Twist were not successful in winning the trios titles. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I have to say it was nice to not have
<v Speaker 1>them overstuff the pre show with like three or four matches.
<v Speaker 1>They had a special segment, they had one match and
<v Speaker 1>that was it. That's the way it should be. If
<v Speaker 1>you don't have a special segment in the future, do
<v Speaker 1>two matches. You don't need to do three or four.
<v Speaker 1>Let's get into the main card here. They opened up
<v Speaker 1>the main card with the six way ladder match, the
<v Speaker 1>crowning number one contender for the I shouldn't even say
<v Speaker 1>number one contender. You get a guaranteed future match for
<v Speaker 1>the International Championship. We had Speedball, Mike Bailey, Jack Perry,
<v Speaker 1>Nick Wayne, Commander, the Beast, Mortos el Clone. Those are
<v Speaker 1>the six men. This was twenty minutes of insane spots
<v Speaker 1>and ridiculously dangerous stunts, and the crowd ate it up.
<v Speaker 1>It was a hot start to the show. Speedball was
<v Speaker 1>the one who made the most sense to win. They
<v Speaker 1>were in his home province. Everything this man did, they cheered.
<v Speaker 1>If anybody did anything to him, they got booed. Didn't
<v Speaker 1>matter who you were, So he was super over in
<v Speaker 1>the building. He talked about later on how he used
<v Speaker 1>to come to this building to watch wrestling, you know,
<v Speaker 1>when he was a small child. At one point, Bailey
<v Speaker 1>landed a moonsaw off a ladder on the stage onto
<v Speaker 1>all five men. Commander, I mean Commander was out there
<v Speaker 1>doing Commander things. Commander is quite great. He hit a
<v Speaker 1>tight rope plancha off the rope right, so he really
<v Speaker 1>from one end of the ring, did the tight rope
<v Speaker 1>walk to the other side, and then did a dive
<v Speaker 1>off through the table that Nick Wayne was laying on
<v Speaker 1>outside the ring. The balance that it takes to pull
<v Speaker 1>off something like that is very impressive, I will say
<v Speaker 1>Jack Perry. At another point, he delivered a Canadian Destroyer
<v Speaker 1>to Nick Wayne off of a ladder onto a ladder bridge,
<v Speaker 1>so basically they tried to kill Nick Wayne in this match.
<v Speaker 1>Mike Bailey, he delivered an ultimate weapon off the top
<v Speaker 1>rope onto the Beast Mortos, who was laid out across
<v Speaker 1>a ladder bridge. Right there was a ladder that was
<v Speaker 1>horizontally placed in the corner he was laying on it.
<v Speaker 1>Bailey comes down right, knees first. On impact, it bounces
<v Speaker 1>him back up and over the top rope. Thankfully he
<v Speaker 1>caught himself or else he nearly killed himself on this spot.
<v Speaker 1>He actually looked kind of cool, but it could have
<v Speaker 1>ended very badly. So he bounced back over the top
<v Speaker 1>rope and landed on the apron. Bailey, They'll got back
<v Speaker 1>in the ring and he very quickly scaled the ladder
<v Speaker 1>to pull down the contract to a huge pop from
<v Speaker 1>the live crowd. They were very happy to see him
<v Speaker 1>pick up the win here, and with that win, he
<v Speaker 1>earns himself a future shot at the International Championship, which
<v Speaker 1>we learned from him in his backstage promo later in
<v Speaker 1>the show. He is going to cash in, I guess
<v Speaker 1>you would say on the Grand Slam Mexico episode of Dynamite,
<v Speaker 1>which is coming up on August fifth, that is when
<v Speaker 1>he will get his championship match against Kyle Fletcher, so
<v Speaker 1>who he owns a win over before, so now we
<v Speaker 1>know when that match is going to be taken place.
<v Speaker 1>That's right. That's what I usually say the end of
<v Speaker 1>these aw pay per views when I look at the
<v Speaker 1>time enough, I find myself saying that very often. How
<v Speaker 1>about it? There he is, there's Pete. How about it?
<v Speaker 1>Thank you? Brother? Who was that? There was a jersey
<v Speaker 1>authentic in the tuxedo t servo breaking in those new
<v Speaker 1>super chats there. I appreciate you guys. So a hot
<v Speaker 1>start to the show, right, Your mileage is going to
<v Speaker 1>vary when it comes to the uh, you know, the
<v Speaker 1>car crash ladder matches. If you like those matches in general,
<v Speaker 1>this was a very enjoyable one. If you don't, then
<v Speaker 1>you won't because again it's just a collection of very
<v Speaker 1>dangerous spots where I find myself sitting here hoping that
<v Speaker 1>they don't kill each other. But as these ladder matches go,
<v Speaker 1>it was very good. Then we got into John Moxley
<v Speaker 1>and Will Osprey against the Young Bucks. No elevated entrance
<v Speaker 1>for Osprey. This is the first time I can remember
<v Speaker 1>him entering with Moxley doing the traditional death rider entrance
<v Speaker 1>to Monchley's music. So there was a collision early on
<v Speaker 1>here between Osbury and Nick Jackson where they bunked heads
<v Speaker 1>and it was planned and so Nick was worse for
<v Speaker 1>wear really for the rest of the match. This became
<v Speaker 1>the story of the match where he just wasn't quite right.
<v Speaker 1>Later on, Osprey was in with Nick. Nick was on
<v Speaker 1>dream Street and the referee was trying to stop Osprey
<v Speaker 1>from doing any further damage to him. He shoved the
<v Speaker 1>referee out of the way. He was about to kill
<v Speaker 1>this man. Matt Jackson gets into the ring. He covers
<v Speaker 1>his brother to shield him and he's telling Osprey enough,
<v Speaker 1>like Cody just did right enough, so Osprey backed off.
<v Speaker 1>He tagged Moxley in, who had no hesitation whatsoever. He
<v Speaker 1>dumped Matt Jackson out to the floor. He gave Nick
<v Speaker 1>a curb stump and he covered him, but he kicked out.
<v Speaker 1>Another theme of this show, the kickout. There were many
<v Speaker 1>of them on this show, so we got the bulldog
<v Speaker 1>show complied. Crowd is not happy about this. They're booing Moxley.
<v Speaker 1>Matt Jackson gets back in. He superkicks Moxley to break
<v Speaker 1>the hold, so they ended up out on the floor.
<v Speaker 1>Osprey ducked a Matt Jackson superkick, but in doing so,
<v Speaker 1>Marina Shaffir ate the kick instead, so they get back inside.
<v Speaker 1>Moxley hits two Paradigm ships and a death Rider on Nick.
<v Speaker 1>Instead of covering him, Moxley goes outside. He grabs a
<v Speaker 1>chair and the referee tried to take it away from him.
<v Speaker 1>Moxley basically used it to shove him down and he
<v Speaker 1>was going to hit Nick with the chair. Osprey, though,
<v Speaker 1>took it away from him. He said, no, no, this
<v Speaker 1>is not what I signed up for, so Matt superkicks
<v Speaker 1>the chair back into Osprey's face. The Bucks then superkicked
<v Speaker 1>Moxley who flipped him the double bird. He ate a
<v Speaker 1>double superkick. Really, they peppered him with kicks until finally
<v Speaker 1>Matt or Nick rather fell on top of Moxley and
<v Speaker 1>they got the three count. So this was a very
<v Speaker 1>different kind of Young Bucks match in some respects. I
<v Speaker 1>liked it. I liked what they did here. Instead of
<v Speaker 1>the usual party match, they slowed things down. They were
<v Speaker 1>telling a story with the Nick Jackson injury, as ridiculous
<v Speaker 1>as it was, because the way he was selling it
<v Speaker 1>like he you could tell, like the way he was
<v Speaker 1>selling it, if you were the referee in this match,
<v Speaker 1>there was no way you would allow this man to continue.
<v Speaker 1>He was selling it like he was concussed or possibly concussed.
<v Speaker 1>He wasn't in his right frame of mind. And the
<v Speaker 1>referee allowed the match. I mean the referee allowed him
<v Speaker 1>because a tag match you could always keep him out.
<v Speaker 1>The referee allowed him to continue to wrestle and he
<v Speaker 1>allowed the match to continue. So if you can put
<v Speaker 1>that out of your mind. As ridiculous as that was,
<v Speaker 1>I expected the Bucks to win because they're going to
<v Speaker 1>be challenging for the tag team titles in London, which
<v Speaker 1>is now official. It wasn't before, But I mean, anybody
<v Speaker 1>who's been paying attention could have figured that was gonna
<v Speaker 1>be the match. So to me, it just didn't make
<v Speaker 1>any sense for them to go in here against these
<v Speaker 1>two and lose. Why would you do that? Right, Moxley
<v Speaker 1>and Ospbrey have won all of their matches. They have
<v Speaker 1>been having these enhancement matches, these quick squashes on TV.
<v Speaker 1>What do you think it's been building towards It has
<v Speaker 1>to be building to them losing. There's got to be
<v Speaker 1>a reason for them to be in there winning all
<v Speaker 1>these matches, right, Make them lose because that's gonna make
<v Speaker 1>things more interesting. I don't want to just see them
<v Speaker 1>keep going in there and winning if they're not going
<v Speaker 1>for the tag team titles, and what do I give
<v Speaker 1>a shit? Right? They have to be teaming for a
<v Speaker 1>reason because eventually they're gonna lose and it's gonna cost
<v Speaker 1>some sort of rift. It's gonna cost some sort of
<v Speaker 1>drama between the two of them. Tonight was the night
<v Speaker 1>for that. So they came out on the losing end
<v Speaker 1>of this match. Osprey the story here. He could not
<v Speaker 1>bring himself to go for the kill shot on Nick Jackson,
<v Speaker 1>Moxley had no such reservations right. He was not worried
<v Speaker 1>about that at all, and in the end it cost
<v Speaker 1>him the match, and it led to a much bigger
<v Speaker 1>angle later in the show. After the main event, which
<v Speaker 1>we'll talk about when we get there. Kyle Fletcher defended
<v Speaker 1>the aw International Championship here against the Ring of Honor
<v Speaker 1>World champion Bendido. Fletcher agreed to have all the members
<v Speaker 1>of the Don Kallis family barred from ringside because he
<v Speaker 1>wanted to show that he can do it on his own.
<v Speaker 1>So there was a brainbuster on the apron at one
<v Speaker 1>point by Fletcher and Bandido's outside the ring. Is he
<v Speaker 1>going to make it back in in time? He gets
<v Speaker 1>up to his feet. I think the referees count was
<v Speaker 1>up to like six or seven, and Bendido he kind
<v Speaker 1>of staggers to his feet and he's staring at this
<v Speaker 1>young boy who's in the front row. They're basically like
<v Speaker 1>head to head here, and the boy is giving him
<v Speaker 1>some encouragement. You got this, And Bendido is able to
<v Speaker 1>roll back into the ring before the ten count. Fletcher
<v Speaker 1>grabbed him. He gave him a last ride power bomb
<v Speaker 1>only for a near fall, but only for a near fall.
<v Speaker 1>Now that I think about it, that should be the
<v Speaker 1>title of Tony Khan's eventual memoir. But only for a
<v Speaker 1>near fall by Tony Kahan. There was a twenty one
<v Speaker 1>plex attempt. Fletcher was able to shrug that off, another
<v Speaker 1>brainbuster on the apron. There was a lot of dropping
<v Speaker 1>one on their head here in this match, and Bandido
<v Speaker 1>was able to get out of that situation. There was
<v Speaker 1>a sunset bomb attempt to the floor. Kyle was fighting
<v Speaker 1>it and fighting it, but in the end he ate
<v Speaker 1>a power bomb on the floor. So Bandido went up
<v Speaker 1>to the top rope. Kyle was down on the floor
<v Speaker 1>outside and he hit this fucker hit a frog splash
<v Speaker 1>from the top rope all the way down to Kyle
<v Speaker 1>Fletcher on the floor outside. And that did not look
<v Speaker 1>like it was a fun move to take. For your
<v Speaker 1>forearms on the landing, I mean, that's a rough landing.
<v Speaker 1>I mean I said shit when I saw him do that.
<v Speaker 1>And this is the guy who had wrisk surgery before
<v Speaker 1>I go. Please, please don't get hurt, So that was
<v Speaker 1>kind of a crazy spot. Later on in the match,
<v Speaker 1>Bandido hit an avalanche fallaway slam into a moon salt
<v Speaker 1>press for a near fall, follow that up with a
<v Speaker 1>GTS for another near fall. We had already reached a
<v Speaker 1>point by the way in this match where it was
<v Speaker 1>complete overkilled, like we're already past that point. I don't
<v Speaker 1>remember the exact move that it was, but there was
<v Speaker 1>a moment in this match where I was like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>this match should no longer be going on now. It's
<v Speaker 1>just getting very over indulgent. Both men were jockeying for
<v Speaker 1>position on the ropes. There was an avalanche Mitchinoku driver
<v Speaker 1>by Fletcher for any ear fall. Fletcher went for a
<v Speaker 1>buckle brainbuster Bandido's head, though it barely glanced the turnbuckle
<v Speaker 1>pad on the way down, but thankfully that was the
<v Speaker 1>finish finally and Fletcher retains the international title. This would
<v Speaker 1>have been a great fifteen minute match. That was my
<v Speaker 1>thought coming out of it. This would have been a
<v Speaker 1>great fifteen minute match, but they didn't go fifteen minutes. Instead.
<v Speaker 1>They can't help themselves because every match on this show,
<v Speaker 1>on these shows has to go minimum twenty, it feels like,
<v Speaker 1>no matter how early in the card it may be.
<v Speaker 1>And so these two went out there and they went
<v Speaker 1>almost thirty fucking minutes when they had absolutely no reason
<v Speaker 1>to go. Almost thirty minutes they went over, not over,
<v Speaker 1>but almost thirty minutes here in this match, especially when
<v Speaker 1>you consider how we arrived here, I might be willing
<v Speaker 1>to excuse it if it was you know, say, the
<v Speaker 1>blowoff to a long simmering feud between these two men.
<v Speaker 1>You know how this match was set up? It was
<v Speaker 1>set up on television, maybe two weeks ago, maybe because
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher was cutting a promo backstage and Bendido had
<v Speaker 1>the audacity to come wandering by and interrupting his shot.
<v Speaker 1>And so ultimately that is what led to these two
<v Speaker 1>having a championship match here on this show, not exactly
<v Speaker 1>a riveting backstory to how or why we got here,
<v Speaker 1>and then they go out there for twenty six minutes.
<v Speaker 1>Why you got ten matches on the show? You have
<v Speaker 1>matches on the show that have more story and backstory
<v Speaker 1>to it than the than this one does with these two.
<v Speaker 1>This is what I mean. There are matches on this
<v Speaker 1>show that end up being good when they could be great,
<v Speaker 1>or they end up being you know, not great when
<v Speaker 1>they could be great, because they just keep going and
<v Speaker 1>going and going, and you just get to a point
<v Speaker 1>where it's like, why is is this still happening? This
<v Speaker 1>should have ended three and a half minutes ago, five
<v Speaker 1>minutes ago. That's how I felt here. They had a
<v Speaker 1>really good match, they had a really strong match. It
<v Speaker 1>could have been even better, but they went too long.
<v Speaker 1>And I also hate this. I hate that Bandido because
<v Speaker 1>Bandido is fucking great, and I hate that Bandido is
<v Speaker 1>someone who they can just put out there because they
<v Speaker 1>know he's always going to have great matches and they
<v Speaker 1>always get over, but he constantly gets beat. We had
<v Speaker 1>the same situation at Forbidden Door. They put him in
<v Speaker 1>there with Moxley, I believe, right for the continental title
<v Speaker 1>and he lost. They put him out there with the
<v Speaker 1>international champion, and you knew he wasn't winning this match
<v Speaker 1>because everything is set up for a three way in
<v Speaker 1>London with Fletcher, Takeshta and Okada at the very least,
<v Speaker 1>to Kasha's coming back from the g one and getting
<v Speaker 1>a rematch for the title, So you knew there was
<v Speaker 1>not going to be a title jed, why are you
<v Speaker 1>sending the Ring of Honor World champion out there to
<v Speaker 1>just keep getting beat like a drum? I don't understand
<v Speaker 1>that Can we not do that? Can we start feeding
<v Speaker 1>him some significant wins? One of the better guys they
<v Speaker 1>have on this roster. I wish they would protect him more.
<v Speaker 1>And then we had the double chain match. We had
<v Speaker 1>Switchblade J White and Juice Robinson representing the Bang Bang
<v Speaker 1>Gang taking on David Finley and Clark Connors representing the
<v Speaker 1>Dogs in a match that was set up on Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>this past week. I hated this match. I hated this match.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't care for the feud between them to begin with.
<v Speaker 1>Coming into this, I cared even less about the stupid
<v Speaker 1>stipulation even when they announced it the other night. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna have a double chain match. I'm like, why, why?
<v Speaker 1>Who cares? Why do we need this? Okay, fine, maybe
<v Speaker 1>they'll go out there and they'll find a way to
<v Speaker 1>make the stipulation work and make it compelling in some way,
<v Speaker 1>and they'll go out there and they'll they'll change my mind.
<v Speaker 1>They didn't change my mind. They did go out there
<v Speaker 1>and they beat the hell out of each other. They
<v Speaker 1>did do that, But for the majority of it, it
<v Speaker 1>sounded like most of the crowd cared for this match
<v Speaker 1>about as much as I did, which is to say
<v Speaker 1>not at all. There was a dominator spot in this
<v Speaker 1>match at one point where David Finley gave Jay White
<v Speaker 1>you know the old Ron Simmons or I guess Bobby
<v Speaker 1>Lashley depending on your frame of reference. And where the
<v Speaker 1>fuck is he by the way, Holy shit, I just
<v Speaker 1>said his name out loud. I completely forgot to even
<v Speaker 1>work for this company. Where the hell is the Hurt Syndicate?
<v Speaker 1>Holy shit? Talk about out of sight, out of mind. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>he went to go give Jay White a dominator. He
<v Speaker 1>almost paralyzed him. It was a very scary landing. Hopefully
<v Speaker 1>he's okay. Pretty sure he's okay, but with Jay White,
<v Speaker 1>I mean again, this guy's had injury issues before, so
<v Speaker 1>I worry about this sort of thing. Hopefully he's okay.
<v Speaker 1>Clark Connors he wrapped the chain. Now they were bound
<v Speaker 1>by the wrist because again it was not a dog
<v Speaker 1>collar match, so they were bound by the wrist and
<v Speaker 1>Clark Connors he wrapped the chain around Juice Robinson's throat
<v Speaker 1>his neck and he started choking. And meanwhile Finley, who
<v Speaker 1>was attached to Jay White by their chain, was trying
<v Speaker 1>to keep him at bay unsuccessfully. So Jay White ends
<v Speaker 1>up taking out Finley with a sleeper suplex so he
<v Speaker 1>could save his partner. So this devolved into two on
<v Speaker 1>one beat down here on David Finley, and they are
<v Speaker 1>just whipping him repeatedly over and over again with these
<v Speaker 1>chains and to make a bad match worse right, you're
<v Speaker 1>watching this year, like, how could they make this match
<v Speaker 1>actively worse? Hm? Why don't we send out Wheeler Dah
<v Speaker 1>and Daniel Garcia to interfere in it? That'll do it.
<v Speaker 1>So the Death Riders see crew, they show up to
<v Speaker 1>get involved here in this match. They pull Switchblade out
<v Speaker 1>of the ring, then Dah drops him with a terrible
<v Speaker 1>looking Bussiku nie that barely grazed him. Here comes Austin
<v Speaker 1>Gunn and Colton Gunn to even the score of Marina Shaffir.
<v Speaker 1>She passes Finley the Schillale and he blasts Juice with
<v Speaker 1>it and he gets the three count to finally put
<v Speaker 1>an end to this. I was just bored more than
<v Speaker 1>anything else. I felt nothing watching this match and another
<v Speaker 1>match here on this show that has to go twenty minutes. Now.
<v Speaker 1>I could excuse it if the match was exciting, but
<v Speaker 1>there was nothing exciting about the match. And so when
<v Speaker 1>it's not. It just feels like an eternity. That's what
<v Speaker 1>this match felt like. It sucks because this is the
<v Speaker 1>second time now in the span of about a week
<v Speaker 1>that Jay White had a match that I think they
<v Speaker 1>really crap the bed with that match he had with
<v Speaker 1>Clark Connors last week on the Dynamite. I didn't think
<v Speaker 1>was a great match. I was bored by that match,
<v Speaker 1>and so now he's out there, He's in this tag
<v Speaker 1>team match. They got the chains and everything, and I
<v Speaker 1>again I'm not a fan of this match. I'm actually
<v Speaker 1>debating about which j White AW match is worse, because honestly,
<v Speaker 1>these are two of the worst matches I think that
<v Speaker 1>I've ever seen in AW this one and the singles
<v Speaker 1>match he had on Dynamite that one time many years
<v Speaker 1>ago with Billy Gunn. I'm pretty sure the Billy gun
<v Speaker 1>match still clears the bar on this. But unfortunately both
<v Speaker 1>matches Jay White was involved. This absolutely did not need
<v Speaker 1>to take place here on this show. When eighteen minutes right,
<v Speaker 1>because if this was on television, if this was on Collision,
<v Speaker 1>if this was on Dynamite, they're not getting eighteen minutes.
<v Speaker 1>It would get a little less time. They would have
<v Speaker 1>been able to tighten it up a little bit, maybe
<v Speaker 1>it would have been a little more palatable. I probably
<v Speaker 1>still wouldn't have had much interest in it, but it
<v Speaker 1>would have been better off actually in this This is
<v Speaker 1>one of those rare cases where this would have been
<v Speaker 1>better off on television. They would have benefited from having
<v Speaker 1>a little less time on the television show instead of
<v Speaker 1>being able to go out there and have eighteen minutes
<v Speaker 1>to bore people to death. So yes, I did not
<v Speaker 1>like this match. The Dogs had to win though, because
<v Speaker 1>if they're setting up a singles match, which I assume
<v Speaker 1>they are at some point between Jay White and David Finley,
<v Speaker 1>which hopefully Switchblade will win, the dogs had to get
<v Speaker 1>a win here. They had to throw them a bone,
<v Speaker 1>and so they did. So. I mean that at least
<v Speaker 1>was good that they gave the Dogs the win, because
<v Speaker 1>you got to give them something. But yeah, this is
<v Speaker 1>the worst thing on the entire show. I hated this match.
<v Speaker 1>Renee Piquette was backstage with Will Osprey who brought up
<v Speaker 1>Nick Jackson's head injury. Osprey said that Nick clearly had
<v Speaker 1>head trauma and he didn't want to take advantage of that. Then,
<v Speaker 1>mister Renee Piquette walks in and Osprey said, look, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not trying to kill anyone. Bruv. Moxley said that Nick
<v Speaker 1>has a history of head trauma. I'm so sorry, Nick.
<v Speaker 1>Welcome to pro wrestling. It's a tough way to make
<v Speaker 1>a living. Moxley said that Osprey has a once in
<v Speaker 1>a lifetime opportunity at Wembley Stadium. He told Osprey, you
<v Speaker 1>can't be everyone's friend or turn your back on anybody.
<v Speaker 1>Moxley said that he doesn't want Osprey to learn this
<v Speaker 1>lesson the hard way. He said, if Osbury won't pull
<v Speaker 1>the trigger, he will, and he walked off. Hikarushda and
<v Speaker 1>Maya World for the TBS Championship. Today, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>was Maya World's birthday. Had I known that coming into
<v Speaker 1>this show, I would have changed my prediction for this match.
<v Speaker 1>I did not realize that today was her birthday. Maya
<v Speaker 1>had control under over Shida when Sida suddenly went after
<v Speaker 1>Maya's knee and we even got a stretch my on
<v Speaker 1>the top rope by Sheida. You don't see that very often.
<v Speaker 1>Chidah was taking every short cut that she possibly could.
<v Speaker 1>She was biting her, she was raking the eyes. Chidah
<v Speaker 1>was looking for a falcon arrow. Maya counter with a
<v Speaker 1>cradle for a two count, but the knee was still
<v Speaker 1>bothering her. She'da got a single leg crab applied, and
<v Speaker 1>I thought I took it as a good sign that
<v Speaker 1>the crab was actually rallying behind Maya. Here, Maya hit
<v Speaker 1>Shechidah with a shining wizard. She'da rolled out of the
<v Speaker 1>ring to avoid being pinned, and she'da grabbed her kendo stick,
<v Speaker 1>but Maya stopped her from using it. Maya got Chida
<v Speaker 1>back inside the ring. She went for a moon salt.
<v Speaker 1>She'da though got her knees up, and then she followed
<v Speaker 1>with a katana covered for a near fall. Fans did
<v Speaker 1>not react to that at all. She'da hit a tombstone,
<v Speaker 1>only got a near fall. Then she got her tbs
<v Speaker 1>lock applied, and when it looked like Maya was going
<v Speaker 1>to tap out, she'da got cocky and she hooked her
<v Speaker 1>arm so that she couldn't tap out, just so she
<v Speaker 1>could dish out some more punishment. She'da hit repeated running
<v Speaker 1>knee strikes, one after the other after the other. Maya
<v Speaker 1>was basically dead and the referee could have stopped it
<v Speaker 1>if they wanted to, she'd have hit a falcon arrow
<v Speaker 1>had the pin. Maya, though, grabbed the bottom rope. So
<v Speaker 1>many near falls in this match. Chidah was bickering with
<v Speaker 1>the referee and then she charged at Maya, who picked
<v Speaker 1>her up for a fallaway slam into a bridge and
<v Speaker 1>into the pin to get the upset win and claim
<v Speaker 1>her first championship. Here in aew, we have a brand
<v Speaker 1>new TBS champion. It wasn't always pretty. There were definitely
<v Speaker 1>some sloppy moments in there. But I enjoyed it more
<v Speaker 1>than I did the last match, I'll tell you that much.
<v Speaker 1>I thought this was solid stuff. The finish surprised me
<v Speaker 1>just because she'da won that Survival of the Fittest match
<v Speaker 1>only a few weeks ago. You know, she's only been
<v Speaker 1>championed for I mean less than a month, twenty five days,
<v Speaker 1>twenty six days, something like that. By the way, Sheida
<v Speaker 1>now owns the record for the shortest reigns as AW
<v Speaker 1>Women's World Champion and AW TBS Champion. Now she had
<v Speaker 1>like over a year as the world champion, but one
<v Speaker 1>of her use she's been a three time world champion.
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember if it was her last run or
<v Speaker 1>her second run. I believe it's still the shortest run
<v Speaker 1>that anyone has ever had with that title. It's like
<v Speaker 1>twenty five days. And so now she owns the shortest
<v Speaker 1>TBS title run. Not the best record to have, I suppose,
<v Speaker 1>but she owns the record now. I was not, honestly,
<v Speaker 1>and you guys remember me mentioning this when she'da won
<v Speaker 1>the belt a few weeks ago. I was not a
<v Speaker 1>big fan of Sheida being the one that they chose
<v Speaker 1>to go with to win the TBS Belt in the
<v Speaker 1>first place. I would have much preferred Persephone or Queen Amanada.
<v Speaker 1>So I wasn't really a fan of the decision to
<v Speaker 1>go with Chidah. Anyway, her losing the TBS championship here
<v Speaker 1>and giving it to my world, I'm okay with that.
<v Speaker 1>I have no issue with that whatsoever. It's a good
<v Speaker 1>way to capitalize off whatever momentum Iyas still had coming
<v Speaker 1>out of the ozho and final against Mercedes Monette. And look,
<v Speaker 1>it's a great story, you know, the success that she's
<v Speaker 1>been able to have. It's someone new having the championship now,
<v Speaker 1>someone who has not been a champion before here in
<v Speaker 1>this company and more importantly, it keeps her on AW
<v Speaker 1>television as opposed to because they had teased the possibility
<v Speaker 1>of her maybe feuding with Athena in Ring of Honor,
<v Speaker 1>and I suppose they could still do that at some point,
<v Speaker 1>but I would much rather see her on Dynamite or
<v Speaker 1>on Collision right. And now she's got the TBS Championship,
<v Speaker 1>so she will be on TNT and TBS and not
<v Speaker 1>relegated to the Ring of Honor. Brent, I consider that
<v Speaker 1>to be a good thing, so good for her. We
<v Speaker 1>had Adam Copeland and Christian Cage against Claudio Castignolium Pack
<v Speaker 1>of the Death Riders for the AW Tag Team Championships.
<v Speaker 1>The majority of this match were the heels taking turns
<v Speaker 1>beating up the babyfaces, with Cope and Christian selling. Copeland
<v Speaker 1>selling is basically most of his matches these days. Not
<v Speaker 1>the same. Copeland put Pack down with it in paler DDT,
<v Speaker 1>another one to Claudio onto Pack. There was also a
<v Speaker 1>spot where Claudio lifted Copeland into a neutralizer position while
<v Speaker 1>Pack went up to the top rope. He came off
<v Speaker 1>for a spike neutralizer. Christian raced over to break up
<v Speaker 1>the pin attempt. Christian then speared. Claudio Pack charged at Christian,
<v Speaker 1>who popped him up into the air into a spear
<v Speaker 1>from Copeland, and Copeland got the pin to retain the titles. Again.
<v Speaker 1>It was mostly a handicap match for a good eighty
<v Speaker 1>to ninety percent of the match where they were ganging
<v Speaker 1>up on the baby Faces until the Babyfaces made a
<v Speaker 1>comeback and they retained the titles in the end. But
<v Speaker 1>it was a good match. There was no reason to
<v Speaker 1>believe the Belts or in any real jeopardy at any
<v Speaker 1>point during this match. Copeland and Cage, they were celebrating
<v Speaker 1>their win. The Young Bucks came out and they got
<v Speaker 1>into the ring and they were pointing at the Tag
<v Speaker 1>Belts and Copeland was shaking hands with them. Christian refused
<v Speaker 1>because Christian doesn't do that sort of thing, and they
<v Speaker 1>put the graphic up so it is now official. It
<v Speaker 1>is now official for Wembley Stadium for the first time ever,
<v Speaker 1>Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will wrestle the Young Bucks
<v Speaker 1>and the aw Tag Team titles will be on the line.
<v Speaker 1>They could end up adding more teams. It's entirely possible.
<v Speaker 1>FTR may come back and may get worked into the match.
<v Speaker 1>There could be new teams debuting imminently in aw and
<v Speaker 1>maybe they get added to the match, but as of
<v Speaker 1>this moment, it will be two on two for the
<v Speaker 1>tag team titles at Wembley Stadium. And I think we
<v Speaker 1>all knew this. This was the big first time ever
<v Speaker 1>Dream Attraction right edgend Christian against the Young Bucks, right
<v Speaker 1>a generational battle. I can picture it now with Copeland
<v Speaker 1>selling for eighty eight percent of the match. But it
<v Speaker 1>seemed very clear that this was the direction we were
<v Speaker 1>going in. And now it is official, as there will
<v Speaker 1>be many matches that are going to be made official now,
<v Speaker 1>so we'll see what impact that has on ticket sales.
<v Speaker 1>I believe the current update has the UH attendance count
<v Speaker 1>I believe at like thirty three thousand. I'm still sticking
<v Speaker 1>in my count of a little over forty for that show,
<v Speaker 1>somewhere between like forty and forty two, maybe somewhere in
<v Speaker 1>that range. We had The Painmaker Chris Jericho against Tamaso Champa,
<v Speaker 1>No holds barred. Jericho entered to Painkiller by Judas Priest,
<v Speaker 1>so he got Tony Kah to break out the checkbook
<v Speaker 1>for this one. He was wearing a wacky mask. He
<v Speaker 1>came out, he had a spiked jacket, barbed wire baseball bat,
<v Speaker 1>and what followed had to be I mean, maybe outside
<v Speaker 1>of one of the blood and guts matches that he
<v Speaker 1>would have been a part of, but I was kind
<v Speaker 1>of going over it in my memory bank. This had
<v Speaker 1>to be the most violent, like hardcore match that Jericho
<v Speaker 1>has ever been a part of. Has there been one
<v Speaker 1>that was more violent than what they did here in
<v Speaker 1>this match? Jericho hasn't been a part of very many
<v Speaker 1>death matches like this, so unless I'm forgetting one, got
<v Speaker 1>me think about what we had here, Between the blood
<v Speaker 1>and the barbed wire and the thumbtacks and the fucking
<v Speaker 1>power drills and the glass mirrors and the table spots,
<v Speaker 1>some pretty brutal table spots, this had to be the
<v Speaker 1>most violent match of Jericho's career. Champa he hit a
<v Speaker 1>fairy tale ending at one point, and this was early
<v Speaker 1>in the match. Off the apron put Jericho through a
<v Speaker 1>table face first. Champa starts throwing weapons into the wing
<v Speaker 1>and a hockey stick, which got a huge pop, obviously
<v Speaker 1>in front of this Montreal crowd. Champa then put on
<v Speaker 1>a Boston Bruins jersey, which got a lot of heat
<v Speaker 1>and he started beating up the stuffed animal version of Upie,
<v Speaker 1>the mascot for the Montreal Canadiens. Yes, he was beating
<v Speaker 1>up the mascot in a stuffed animal form. Big heat
<v Speaker 1>for that. Then he emptied out a bag of thumbtack
<v Speaker 1>covered hockey pucks. Jericho pulled the jersey over Champa's head.
<v Speaker 1>We got a hockey fight. He sup plexed him onto
<v Speaker 1>the pucks, and then Jericho used sandpaper to rake the forehead.
<v Speaker 1>Now I think Champa was already busted open, but now
<v Speaker 1>he's just bleeding all over the place as he's sampapering
<v Speaker 1>this man's forehead. Jericho put the Bruins jersey into a
<v Speaker 1>trash can. The crowd wanted him to set it on fire,
<v Speaker 1>but he pulled the barbed wire table out instead. Champa
<v Speaker 1>threw one of the tack covered pucks at Jericho, and
<v Speaker 1>you could see after there was a tax sticking out
<v Speaker 1>of Jericho's out of his forehead or his eyebrow. Champa
<v Speaker 1>grabbed a sack of his own that had an elbow
<v Speaker 1>pad in it that was covered in thumbtacks. Jericho, though,
<v Speaker 1>sank in the walls of Jericho before he could use it,
<v Speaker 1>and he forced Champa to crawl through the tax and
<v Speaker 1>the barbed wire to get to the barb wire bat
<v Speaker 1>and he starts smacking Jericho in the back with it.
<v Speaker 1>They fought to the apron. Jericho hit a depth valley
<v Speaker 1>driver off the apron through the barb wire table back inside.
<v Speaker 1>Champa kicked out, which I mean was just fucking ridiculous.
<v Speaker 1>But this whole match was ridiculous. I think Jericho may
<v Speaker 1>have stabbed him in the leg with a pencil at
<v Speaker 1>one point. That's, you know, look, that shit doesn't go away.
<v Speaker 1>I got stabbed right in the middle of my hand
<v Speaker 1>by a kid when I was in elementary school many
<v Speaker 1>years ago, and I could still literally still see the
<v Speaker 1>lead in my hand. That shit don't go away. It
<v Speaker 1>stays with you forever. I'm pretty sure he stabbed him
<v Speaker 1>in the leg with a pencil. Then he brought in
<v Speaker 1>a giant mirror into the ring, and he made a
<v Speaker 1>bridge with two chairs. He put the mirror between them.
<v Speaker 1>Champa caught him though with a low blow and then
<v Speaker 1>followed with an air raid crash onto the mirror. Jericho,
<v Speaker 1>of course kicked out. So while the doctor is over
<v Speaker 1>checking on Jericho. Champa pulled out the power drill. I
<v Speaker 1>told you, I told you we're gonna get it. You
<v Speaker 1>see it in the artwork I put together because I
<v Speaker 1>knew it was coming. I knew it was coming. I said,
<v Speaker 1>I gotta get a picture of Champa with that fucking
<v Speaker 1>power drill, and I'm gonna put it in the layout.
<v Speaker 1>And sure enough, out comes the power drill and the
<v Speaker 1>crowd starts chanting, this is murder. I thought maybe there
<v Speaker 1>was a Jimmy Snooker appearance. I thought maybe he rose
<v Speaker 1>from the dead. So Champa went to go use it. Jericho,
<v Speaker 1>though spat green missed at his face. Either that or
<v Speaker 1>you know, he's been hit by this cyclosporiasis outbreak that's
<v Speaker 1>been going on. But he spat some green shit in
<v Speaker 1>Champa's face and blinded him, and then he hit the
<v Speaker 1>Judas effect and say it with me now, Shampa kicked out.
<v Speaker 1>I know I was as stunned as you are. So
<v Speaker 1>Jericho brought out another mirror, this one wrapped in barbed wire,
<v Speaker 1>and he smashed it across Champa's back. Jericho then put
<v Speaker 1>the thumbtack covered elbowpad on and he hit the Judas
<v Speaker 1>effect and again again. Champa kicked out Jericho then grabbed
<v Speaker 1>the power drill and he used it on Champa's forehead.
<v Speaker 1>Aubrey Edwards calls for the stoppage. I guess I couldn't.
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't tell if Champa hadly submitted or if she
<v Speaker 1>just made an executive decision here and decided enough is enough.
<v Speaker 1>But she calls the match off and mercifully this match
<v Speaker 1>comes to an end as a wrestling match. Their Beach
<v Speaker 1>Break match I thought was much better than this. I
<v Speaker 1>enjoyed that Beach Break match better than this as a
<v Speaker 1>garbage plunder match. I don't know what else they could
<v Speaker 1>have done that they didn't do here, outside of blowing
<v Speaker 1>themselves up with Piro, you know, like MJF and Hangman
<v Speaker 1>did in their Texas Death match earlier this year. I
<v Speaker 1>appreciate them killing themselves to try to live up to
<v Speaker 1>the stipulation, but this just wasn't for me. It wasn't
<v Speaker 1>for me. I don't need to see these two guys
<v Speaker 1>out there doing this type of horse shit. I really don't.
<v Speaker 1>But I get the sense that Champ is out there
<v Speaker 1>having the time of his life because now he's got
<v Speaker 1>the freedom that he didn't have before. He's got the
<v Speaker 1>creative freedom to go out there and get booked in
<v Speaker 1>these types of to begin with, and get featured on
<v Speaker 1>the television show and actually get a pay per view match,
<v Speaker 1>which were very hard to come by for him in
<v Speaker 1>the other place, let alone a singles match on pay
<v Speaker 1>per view. I can't recall there being a single singles
<v Speaker 1>a single singles a single singles match on a pl
<v Speaker 1>that he ever had in WWE that wasn't part of
<v Speaker 1>NXT Black and Gold, right, or maybe NXT two point
<v Speaker 1>zero when they blew up Black and Gold. All that
<v Speaker 1>to say, I think he's probably enjoying himself a lot.
<v Speaker 1>He probably enjoyed himself in this match taking the abuse
<v Speaker 1>more than I did watching it again, some people, your
<v Speaker 1>mileage is going to vary on whether or not this
<v Speaker 1>match was for you or not. We go backstage. Oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, this I forgot about this. Yeah, oh boy.
<v Speaker 1>We go backstage to Mick Foley and he's standing by
<v Speaker 1>with the women's tag team champions Divine Dominion Megan Bant. Yes, yes, Eric,
<v Speaker 1>I was saying that during the Champa and Jericho match,
<v Speaker 1>not even on like the power Drill and all that
<v Speaker 1>but on the kickouts, I was screaming that enough enough.
<v Speaker 1>When we go backstage, Nick Foley is with Megan Bain
<v Speaker 1>and Leana Cross, who offer him a seat. They tell
<v Speaker 1>him to sit down. They pull up a chair, They
<v Speaker 1>tell him to sit down, and they ask him have
<v Speaker 1>you ever seen two women more dominant than them? And
<v Speaker 1>Folly thinks about it and he says, well, maybe the
<v Speaker 1>crush gals, but no none recently. So Bain asked him,
<v Speaker 1>have you ever seen two women who were more violent
<v Speaker 1>than us? Folly said I had not. Bain said that
<v Speaker 1>they're undefeated and they just are wondering why there weren't
<v Speaker 1>two women around to face the two of them, and
<v Speaker 1>Fully said, well, actually there are two women that would
<v Speaker 1>be the brawling Birds. So Lena asked if Fully really
<v Speaker 1>thought the birds stood a chance against them. Fully said,
<v Speaker 1>well maybe, and Baine then told Foley to bow down,
<v Speaker 1>and McK foley, former WWE Champion, WWE Hall of Famer,
<v Speaker 1>the Beloved Mick Foley proceeds to start barking like a
<v Speaker 1>dog literally and going woolf wolf bow Wow over and
<v Speaker 1>over again, rough bow Wow. The only thing missing here
<v Speaker 1>was a neck collar and a ball gag. And I
<v Speaker 1>don't need to see what Mick behind closed doors. I
<v Speaker 1>don't give a shit. I don't care what his kinks
<v Speaker 1>may be. I don't know if this this felt like
<v Speaker 1>some humiliation ritual to me. I know the sickos will laugh. Ago,
<v Speaker 1>come on, it's comedy. It's comedy. Sure, this was embarrassing,
<v Speaker 1>is what this was. I don't know what the fuck
<v Speaker 1>this was supposed to be. I don't even have the
<v Speaker 1>words for this. This was sad. This was sad to watch.
<v Speaker 1>We had Mark Davis against Androde l Edelo for the
<v Speaker 1>aw National Championship. Can you imagine that though Mick Foley
<v Speaker 1>on his hands and knees on all fours on a
<v Speaker 1>dog leash with like a ballgag in his mouth as
<v Speaker 1>Lean Across and Meghan Bain lead him around, if they
<v Speaker 1>asked him to do it, I think he would do it.
<v Speaker 1>I really do. He would take one for the team.
<v Speaker 1>Androde nearly scored the instant win in the first ten
<v Speaker 1>seconds of this match. He caught Davis off guard with
<v Speaker 1>the spinning back elbow. Davis, though kicked out. Thankfully they
<v Speaker 1>didn't job my guy Davis out here. I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>know some of these a lot of these matches on
<v Speaker 1>this show didn't need to be as long as they were.
<v Speaker 1>But come on, man, you know you know I get
<v Speaker 1>to beat my guy here in ten seconds. Hat of discipline.
<v Speaker 1>You make a very good you make a very good point.
<v Speaker 1>Why would I want to imagine that? You well, my
<v Speaker 1>point is you don't. You don't want to imagine it.
<v Speaker 1>But after what we saw tonight, I could actually see
<v Speaker 1>something like that happening. I wouldn't be shocked if this
<v Speaker 1>was mixed creative contribution to the show. And Tony Kahn's
<v Speaker 1>got his cup of java in his hand that he
<v Speaker 1>he I think it's glued to his hand every time
<v Speaker 1>I see him. He's got that fucking cup in his hand.
<v Speaker 1>Oh that sounds a great idea. Make sure for it.
<v Speaker 1>Go for it. Bow wow. David set up for a
<v Speaker 1>power bomb of the apron. Androde countered with a hurk
<v Speaker 1>and rona that sent Davis hurling forward into the turnbuckles,
<v Speaker 1>Androtte then raced up top. He hit Davis with the
<v Speaker 1>moon salt over the ring post to the floor back inside,
<v Speaker 1>Androte took his pants off. This got me, you know,
<v Speaker 1>me saying that coming off the mc foley stuff, I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck did I watch? What did I spend
<v Speaker 1>money on tonight? What is going on here? So Androte
<v Speaker 1>takes his pants off and he reveals trunks with how
<v Speaker 1>you know, on the back of them. He tried for
<v Speaker 1>a frog splash, Davis got the knees up. Davis set
<v Speaker 1>up for a pile of driver, Androte used a hurk
<v Speaker 1>and rona to hook him into a pin for a
<v Speaker 1>near fall, and then Androte hit the spin back elbow
<v Speaker 1>and he followed with the DM to win the championship.
<v Speaker 1>I knew it. I knew it was coming. I knew
<v Speaker 1>this was the end of the line from Mark Davis
<v Speaker 1>as the national champion. After the win, they shot off
<v Speaker 1>Pyro on stage. I thought the match was good. Androde
<v Speaker 1>finally strikes gold for the first time in aw for
<v Speaker 1>Mark Davis, this is the end of his run as champion.
<v Speaker 1>I hope it's not the end of him being used
<v Speaker 1>in a singles capacity. I could see them just putting
<v Speaker 1>him in Jake Doyle back together, because that was the
<v Speaker 1>original idea Davis and Doyle, you know, in the in
<v Speaker 1>the tag team ranks. And I mean, look, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>opposed to it. I just hope this doesn't you know,
<v Speaker 1>mark the end of him being featured in singles matches
<v Speaker 1>at all on these shows, because I enjoy his work
<v Speaker 1>and I don't expect him to win this belt back.
<v Speaker 1>He may not win another belt period, unless it's a
<v Speaker 1>tag team belt, that's point. But I enjoyed this little
<v Speaker 1>run that he had, and a lot of the matches
<v Speaker 1>that he had on TV, especially that will Osprey match
<v Speaker 1>he had when they were in the Owen together. As
<v Speaker 1>overbooked as that was, that's some of the most fun
<v Speaker 1>I've had watching Dynamite all year, and he was a
<v Speaker 1>part of that. We had Tecla against Willow Nightingale for
<v Speaker 1>the aw Women's World Championship. They showed Mercedes Monette up
<v Speaker 1>in one of the luxury boxes in the crowd. She
<v Speaker 1>had her Owenhart Foundation belt over her shoulder. It was
<v Speaker 1>an early pounce that launched Tekla out of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>She came back though with a curb stump to give
<v Speaker 1>her a chance to regroup and collect herself, and then
<v Speaker 1>she started ripping at Willow's stitched up ear and it
<v Speaker 1>started bleeding. Late in the match, Willow landed a death
<v Speaker 1>valley driver for a two count, but then pulled down
<v Speaker 1>the straps. She was setting up for the doctor bomb. Techla,
<v Speaker 1>though was able to avoid it, and the champion rolled
<v Speaker 1>Willow into a pen and grabbed the bottom rope for leverage.
<v Speaker 1>The referee They'll caught her. Came back with a spinebuster
<v Speaker 1>and then went for a top upe Moonsalt, but she missed.
<v Speaker 1>Tecla went for a spear. Willow counter with the doctor
<v Speaker 1>bomb and she covered her and had the match one
<v Speaker 1>when Sky bleww reached in and pulled her out of
<v Speaker 1>the ring. Actually no, she placed Tecla's leg on the
<v Speaker 1>bottom rope thinking of a different spot in a different match,
<v Speaker 1>but she broke up the pin attempt. Is the point,
<v Speaker 1>no Julia Hard here because Julia Hart is she may
<v Speaker 1>be over there now. I know she's on her way
<v Speaker 1>to Japan. If she isn't already there, she's taking part
<v Speaker 1>in the Grand Prix. So that's why we didn't get
<v Speaker 1>any Julia Hard on this show. Willow went to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>She gave Sky a doctor bomb, then rolled back inside
<v Speaker 1>and immediately ate a spear from Tecla, and Tecla went
<v Speaker 1>for a stomp. Willow moved and she won the title
<v Speaker 1>with a fucking backslide. After the match, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong,
<v Speaker 1>Kylo Riley, they all came out to conglomerate with her
<v Speaker 1>and to celebrate with her because she is affiliated with
<v Speaker 1>the conglomeration. Mercedes Monette was again shown up in her
<v Speaker 1>luxury box and they put the graphic up. It is
<v Speaker 1>now official at All in London. It will be Mercedes
<v Speaker 1>Monet challenging Willow Nightingale for the Women's World Championship and
<v Speaker 1>Orange Cassidy gave Willow a backpack that she immediately stuffed
<v Speaker 1>the belt into. Wonderful. We had the men's world title
<v Speaker 1>in a briefcase for a year and now we got
<v Speaker 1>the women's world title in a fucking backpack. Lovely look.
<v Speaker 1>I thought they had a good match. I'm just not
<v Speaker 1>a fan of how rush this all felt. For Willow's
<v Speaker 1>first world title win. And I know she's won matches
<v Speaker 1>before with the backslide. I'm aware of that. It doesn't
<v Speaker 1>mean I have to like it as far as that
<v Speaker 1>being the finish for the first time that she wins
<v Speaker 1>the World Championship. She wins on a fucking backslide. Are
<v Speaker 1>you for real that's the finish of this match? You
<v Speaker 1>do that in a TV match. You don't do that
<v Speaker 1>in a pay per view match when you're winning the
<v Speaker 1>world title for the first time. The sad part about
<v Speaker 1>this is her beating Mercedes and winning the TBS Championship
<v Speaker 1>on that New Year's Smash episode of Dynamite felt like
<v Speaker 1>a much bigger deal than this did here in Montreal,
<v Speaker 1>all on this pay per view world title on the line,
<v Speaker 1>and that moment and that win and that finish felt
<v Speaker 1>like a much bigger deal than what we got here.
<v Speaker 1>And that's sad. So that part of it. I did
<v Speaker 1>not like Willow against Mercedes, though it always made sense
<v Speaker 1>to me, is the match to do at Wembley. I've
<v Speaker 1>been saying it ever since she came back and won
<v Speaker 1>that gauntlet match at Beach Break, and I don't think
<v Speaker 1>that Mercedes should win the belt on that show. In fact,
<v Speaker 1>as I sit here right now, and you can call
<v Speaker 1>me crazy, I promise you I don't have anything too
<v Speaker 1>strong in this cup here. I think will Everyone's worried
<v Speaker 1>about Willow being a transitional champion and all that. As
<v Speaker 1>I sit here right now with five weeks left to
<v Speaker 1>go before we get to Wembley Stadium, I don't think
<v Speaker 1>Willow is going to be a transitional champion. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think it's a foregone conclusion that Mercedes is winning the belt.
<v Speaker 1>I understand that she won the Owen last year and
<v Speaker 1>she went and she lost. Why would they do that
<v Speaker 1>again two years in a row. Wins the Owen and loses. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I think this is a very real possibility of that. Now,
<v Speaker 1>if she goes in there and loses, then yeah, that sucks.
<v Speaker 1>But put the belt on her for the first time
<v Speaker 1>and take it away five weeks later, that's pretty shitty.
<v Speaker 1>But don't assume that Mercedes is automatically getting the belt.
<v Speaker 1>There were a lot of things that you could assume
<v Speaker 1>coming into this pay per view tonight. You could assume
<v Speaker 1>that Kenny Omega was not losing to Kevin Knight, right.
<v Speaker 1>You could assume Adam Copeland and Christian Cage were not
<v Speaker 1>losing their tag team titles. Don't assume that Willow is
<v Speaker 1>going to lose her championship to Mercedes Monete. I'll just
<v Speaker 1>say that Tekla, she had over one hundred and sixty
<v Speaker 1>day as the women's champion. I remember, for the longest
<v Speaker 1>time when she first came in, I didn't know what
<v Speaker 1>the woman sounded like I didn't hear her cut a
<v Speaker 1>single promo. Now you can't shut her up, and she's great.
<v Speaker 1>She's got more personality than most people. I don't just
<v Speaker 1>mean on the AW roster. She's got more personality in
<v Speaker 1>charisma than most people in wrestling today. She's become a
<v Speaker 1>favorite on the many of these Dynamite shows, and she
<v Speaker 1>had a good run again. One hundred and sixty days
<v Speaker 1>is nothing to sneeze out. There is speculation on social media.
<v Speaker 1>People are they're chattering, They're talking about the possibility that
<v Speaker 1>maybe now that she's not the champion, they could be
<v Speaker 1>setting up a match involving her and Kyrie Saye for
<v Speaker 1>all in London. If Kyrie is coming in. Kyrie, by
<v Speaker 1>the way, has retained the services of one Barry Bloom
<v Speaker 1>and there is a lot of speculation that that will
<v Speaker 1>lead to her eventually ending up in AWAW has the
<v Speaker 1>working relationship with Stardom. If Kyrie went to Stardom, right,
<v Speaker 1>that could also kind of be her back doorway into AW.
<v Speaker 1>And Tecla right now is one third. I believe right
<v Speaker 1>the artist of Stardom right those the trio's belts. I
<v Speaker 1>believe she's a champion in stardom. She still has her
<v Speaker 1>long running feud would start them. There could be something
<v Speaker 1>there maybe with her and Kyrie and if So, and again,
<v Speaker 1>right now it's all speculation, but if So, I could
<v Speaker 1>see that, you know, and I could get behind that.
<v Speaker 1>But she should most definitely have something for that show.
<v Speaker 1>She should be factored into that show in some way.
<v Speaker 1>Just because she's not the champion anymore doesn't mean that
<v Speaker 1>Tecla goes away. I don't want to see that. But
<v Speaker 1>Willow and Mercedes always felt like this is the match
<v Speaker 1>to do babyface against heel instead of doing two heels
<v Speaker 1>against each other. The main event of this show had
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega defending the AW World Championship against the Jet
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight, the reigning TNT champion. Knight hit Omega from
<v Speaker 1>behind during the ring intros and choked him with his
<v Speaker 1>wrist tape, and as Night was throwing punches at Kenny's gut,
<v Speaker 1>we got the obligatory diverticulitis mentioned from ex Caliber drink Omegas.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, I don't know what was going on
<v Speaker 1>with Tony Schavanni. He sounded like a fucking pullstring doll
<v Speaker 1>on this show, like he contributed nothing on this show.
<v Speaker 1>It's very weird. The commentary situation was very weird. Nigel
<v Speaker 1>was fine and then halfway through the show they swapped
<v Speaker 1>him out with Taz and Taz is always great, but yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Chevanni was just like, I mean, you could cut his
<v Speaker 1>mic and not miss anything on this show. Omega stood
<v Speaker 1>on top of the announced desk at one point, or
<v Speaker 1>he was over by the announced desk. He delivered a
<v Speaker 1>Snapdragon supplex onto the desk. Ex Caliber said that Omega
<v Speaker 1>had to get staples in his head after Knight had
<v Speaker 1>hit him with the belt on Dynamite, which is true.
<v Speaker 1>You remember that last spot at the end of Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>on Wednesday where they had that short ramp to the
<v Speaker 1>ring and Knight flew out, I mean he fucking flew
<v Speaker 1>out and whacked Kenny in the head with the belt
<v Speaker 1>might have been the TNT belt and Kenny came up bleeding,
<v Speaker 1>So that's what he was referring to there. Omega set
<v Speaker 1>up for a top rope Dragon suplex. Night, though, fought
<v Speaker 1>free and he tied up Omega in a tree of woe,
<v Speaker 1>went to the opposite corner and he delivered his Coast
<v Speaker 1>to coast dropkick. So late in the match, Knight went
<v Speaker 1>to the floor and he grabbed both belts. He placed
<v Speaker 1>one of the belts under the ring skirt and the
<v Speaker 1>referee caught him with the other belts, so Knight tossed it,
<v Speaker 1>tossed it away and when the referee went after it,
<v Speaker 1>Knight grabbed the other belt and he went to go
<v Speaker 1>hit Omega with it. Kenny, though, kicked him, and Kenny
<v Speaker 1>went for the One Winged Angel. Knight slipped out. He
<v Speaker 1>delivered to Urinagi onto the TNT title and then Kevin
<v Speaker 1>slid the belt out of the ring. He covered Omega.
<v Speaker 1>Referee made the count only for a near fall, so
<v Speaker 1>Night went for a UFO splash. Kenny got the knees up,
<v Speaker 1>Omega went for the One Winged Angel again. Night slipped out. Ultimately,
<v Speaker 1>though Kenny caught him with a leaping knee strike and
<v Speaker 1>he did finally hit the One Winged Angel and picked
<v Speaker 1>up the win. To the surprise and shock of absolutely
<v Speaker 1>no one. Kenny Obega retains the aw World Championship, a
<v Speaker 1>title that he should have retained without question, no one
<v Speaker 1>will deny that, but a title that he really should
<v Speaker 1>have won on this show, and there may have been
<v Speaker 1>reasons why it didn't happen. Again, MJF maybe has the
<v Speaker 1>bad leg and it was injury related and he wanted
<v Speaker 1>to make sure that he had plenty of time to
<v Speaker 1>rest and rehab and get ready for all In, And
<v Speaker 1>that may well be the case. I'm just saying maybe
<v Speaker 1>there was nothing Tony Ka can do about it. It
<v Speaker 1>doesn't change the fact that on a show called Redemption
<v Speaker 1>Kenny's home country, where he came out there and he
<v Speaker 1>was beloved, the moment that that creative changed and Kenny
<v Speaker 1>beat him weeks early to win the championship. That's why
<v Speaker 1>I said at the beginning of this review, the entire
<v Speaker 1>need for a show called Redemption went out the fucking window.
<v Speaker 1>It just it didn't hit the same way as if
<v Speaker 1>he would have won that belt in that building tonight.
<v Speaker 1>It's unfortunate because that would have been a great moment
<v Speaker 1>in the right place at the right time. It didn't
<v Speaker 1>work out that way. What we got here was a
<v Speaker 1>very good wrestling match, and Kevin Knight was very impressive.
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight is not where Kenny Omega is. He's not
<v Speaker 1>where Will Osprey is. He's not there yet. Hopefully he'll
<v Speaker 1>get there. He's got the tools, he's got the talent,
<v Speaker 1>and Tony Kahan obviously believes in him. He's been getting
<v Speaker 1>pushed all year long and he's held multiple championships and
<v Speaker 1>that's great. But this did not feel like your typical
<v Speaker 1>aw pay per view Maine event. This felt like it
<v Speaker 1>would have been an excellent television main event. This was
<v Speaker 1>not a pay per view main event that you go
<v Speaker 1>out of your way to think, oh man, this is
<v Speaker 1>a big deal here, like that's not what this was.
<v Speaker 1>But what it did do when it was over, was
<v Speaker 1>it set up an angle when the match was over.
<v Speaker 1>Because when it was over, Wheeler you To and Daniel
<v Speaker 1>Garcia they were back. They ran out and attacked Omega,
<v Speaker 1>packing Claudio. They joined in on the beat down. John
<v Speaker 1>Moxley and Marina Shaffir they came out. So the young
<v Speaker 1>Bucks ran out to try to help, and they were
<v Speaker 1>quickly dispatched. Claudio wrapped a chair around Omega's head. He
<v Speaker 1>was laying face down on the mat and so Claudio
<v Speaker 1>places the chair around his neck. Will Osprey enters and
<v Speaker 1>he gets in the ring and he shields Kenny and
<v Speaker 1>he's trying to tell the death Riders to back off,
<v Speaker 1>don't do this. Da tells Osprey it's okay, it's okay.
<v Speaker 1>He embraces him, and then he shoots a look over
<v Speaker 1>to Claudio, like go ahead and kill him. Claudio went
<v Speaker 1>to go kill Omega. Osprey, though, shoved him down to
<v Speaker 1>the mat. He pulled the chair off Omega's neck and
<v Speaker 1>he starts swinging the chair and the death Riders they
<v Speaker 1>all scatter. So John Moxley gets into the ring. Osprey
<v Speaker 1>is standing in front of Omega with the chair, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm watching this because Kenny is he's still he's still down,
<v Speaker 1>but he's you know, he's awake, barely, he's kind of dazed.
<v Speaker 1>And Osprey's back is turned to him and he's got
<v Speaker 1>the chair in his hand, and I'm like, oh, don't
<v Speaker 1>tell me. I'm like, don't tell me. There's no way.
<v Speaker 1>There's no way they're turning Osprey heel five weeks out
<v Speaker 1>from Wembley, right. I thought for sure my wrestling brain
<v Speaker 1>was telling me the way, just what he was positioned,
<v Speaker 1>like Kenny's gonna get to his feet, Osprey's gonna whack
<v Speaker 1>him in the head, which you know, when when you
<v Speaker 1>really think about it, there is a way to tell
<v Speaker 1>that story where he listened to what Moxley told him
<v Speaker 1>earlier in the show and he decided, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>Moxley is right, And so as soon as Kenny gets
<v Speaker 1>back up to his feet, you have Osbury whack him
<v Speaker 1>in the head with a chair. He'll be a heel
<v Speaker 1>in the building tonight, but you still have five weeks
<v Speaker 1>to where he can sort of wake up right to
<v Speaker 1>where he wouldn't be going into Wembley as the heel,
<v Speaker 1>so it wouldn't be like a proper heel turn, maybe
<v Speaker 1>a heel turn for a few weeks until he wakes
<v Speaker 1>up and realizes that the Death Riders have been feeding
<v Speaker 1>him a bunch of bullshit, and then you shoot the
<v Speaker 1>angle where he kind of breaks away from them. So
<v Speaker 1>there was a way where you could have done that.
<v Speaker 1>But in the moment, I'm like, I hope that's not
<v Speaker 1>what this is, and thankfully that's not what it was.
<v Speaker 1>But then Moxley pulls out the dreaded plastic bag of doom.
<v Speaker 1>We haven't seen the plastic bag in a while. We
<v Speaker 1>haven't seen Brian Danielson in an active capacity on the
<v Speaker 1>show outside of being a commentator since they put the
<v Speaker 1>plastic bag over his head, right. I guess, well, I
<v Speaker 1>guess last year in the Hangman match, I guess he
<v Speaker 1>ran in. He did it with Sakuni, I believe. But
<v Speaker 1>that's really what put him down as a full time
<v Speaker 1>pro wrestler was the angle they shot where they tried
<v Speaker 1>to suffocate him to death. So he pulls out the
<v Speaker 1>plastic bag and I'm sure striking fear in the hearts
<v Speaker 1>of all of the lawmakers in New York who have
<v Speaker 1>banned such a thing. But he hands the plastic bag
<v Speaker 1>over to will Ospray and he gives Osprey a kiss
<v Speaker 1>on the cheek. Osprey now is staring at this bag.
<v Speaker 1>He is staring intensely at the plastic bag. He's looking
<v Speaker 1>down at Omega, He's looking back at the bag. What
<v Speaker 1>is he gonna do? Ultimately he rips the bag in half.
<v Speaker 1>Osprey turns to Moxley and he drops him with a punch.
<v Speaker 1>He has made his decision. There will be no more
<v Speaker 1>death riders for will Ospray. Marina Shafir gets in the
<v Speaker 1>ring and he immediately throws her right out of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Uda and Garcia they charged him, and Osprey lowbridged them
<v Speaker 1>to the floor. Claudio charged at him. Osprey back dropped
<v Speaker 1>him over the top rope and then he dropped Pack
<v Speaker 1>with a hidden blade, and the death Riders retreated. Ospray
<v Speaker 1>now is looking down at the AW World Championship, which
<v Speaker 1>is laying on the mat in the corner, and he
<v Speaker 1>picks up the belt. Omega pulls himself up to his feet,
<v Speaker 1>and Kenny looks and he finds pieces of the plastic
<v Speaker 1>bag laying on the mat, and so Osprey holds out
<v Speaker 1>the belt. Kenny's got the plastic bag remnants, Like, what
<v Speaker 1>the fuck? He grabs the belt from Ospray. Osprey. Then
<v Speaker 1>he accepts the handshake that Kenny offers him. But then
<v Speaker 1>he leans in and he tells Omega says, from this
<v Speaker 1>moment on, it's about you and me and the two
<v Speaker 1>and them. They go to different corners of the ring
<v Speaker 1>and they're posing and it looks like, yeah, the pay
<v Speaker 1>per view is ending at this point, right, it looks
<v Speaker 1>like the show's going off the air. As Osprey is
<v Speaker 1>posing on the turn buckles in the corner, Omega he
<v Speaker 1>slips underneath him and he delivers a one winged angel
<v Speaker 1>and he drops Osprey down in the back of his
<v Speaker 1>neck and the fans boot this, by the way, actually
<v Speaker 1>boot Kenny Omega for doing this. He picks up the
<v Speaker 1>plastic bag pieces and he's like talking shit and he's
<v Speaker 1>pointing at them, and the young bucks get into the
<v Speaker 1>ring and they're talking to him, like what are you doing?
<v Speaker 1>And they end up posing together and that's how they
<v Speaker 1>go off the air. So let's make one thing perfectly
<v Speaker 1>clear here, because this was this was not a heel turn.
<v Speaker 1>I know, in the moment it kind of felt like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, Kenny Omega's going heel, and the fans
<v Speaker 1>did start booing him a little bit, but that's not
<v Speaker 1>what this was. I will also tell you I appreciate
<v Speaker 1>their self restraint only having this main event go twenty
<v Speaker 1>five minutes, which is a big surprise for an aw
<v Speaker 1>pay per view. To let your main event only go
<v Speaker 1>twenty five minutes took a lot of self control by
<v Speaker 1>Tony Kahn Okay and the wrestlers. I am grateful for it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm grateful that the match only went twenty five I
<v Speaker 1>thought for sure they were going forty. Thankfully that didn't happen.
<v Speaker 1>The match itself, I thought was very good, not at
<v Speaker 1>the level of their typical like top pay per view
<v Speaker 1>main events. We've had a lot of great pay per
<v Speaker 1>view matches and great pay per view main events from
<v Speaker 1>this company this year. They're sort of their own worst
<v Speaker 1>enemy in that regard, right, because it's only natural that
<v Speaker 1>as these shows take place, like you may compare and say, oh, well,
<v Speaker 1>this was not as good as that. This was not
<v Speaker 1>as good as that match, and so their reputation on
<v Speaker 1>pay per view is very good. You know, you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>get quality matches up and down these shows most of
<v Speaker 1>the time. And I'm not saying this was not a quality, man,
<v Speaker 1>it was just not up to snuff, you know, from
<v Speaker 1>what you would normally get in a main event spot
<v Speaker 1>here on the show. But as I said before, it
<v Speaker 1>would have been an excellent DYNA my main event. It's
<v Speaker 1>too bad we didn't get it there on this show.
<v Speaker 1>Knowing that the outcome was never in doubt here, it
<v Speaker 1>needed something more. It didn't have that. I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>had the post match angle, but that had nothing to
<v Speaker 1>do with Kevin Knight. We knew coming into this that
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight was a great athlete. We knew that maybe
<v Speaker 1>he's a future world champion, right, there was nothing that
<v Speaker 1>I saw from him here in this match. That makes
<v Speaker 1>me feel any different, Nothing that makes me feel any
<v Speaker 1>different than I felt coming into the show. He doesn't
<v Speaker 1>come out of it looking all that much better, he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't come out of it looking worse. He comes out
<v Speaker 1>of it. I think it's almost like he's in the
<v Speaker 1>same exact spot he was in before, except he's the
<v Speaker 1>TNT champion and he just got beat And there's no
<v Speaker 1>shame in losing to Kenny Omega. There's no shame in
<v Speaker 1>losing to the world champion. But I don't know that
<v Speaker 1>he needed to be in this position, and I do
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to assume that if MJF was healthy enough
<v Speaker 1>to work this show, the matches would have been Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Omega against MJF and Darby Allen against Kevin Knight. And
<v Speaker 1>instead they did Darby and Kevin Knight on television this week,
<v Speaker 1>and Kevin Knight just beat him. So plans plans unfortunately
<v Speaker 1>changed for this show as far as the postmatch stuff.
<v Speaker 1>In the end, the message here is that John Moxley
<v Speaker 1>was correct in what he told will Osprey earlier in
<v Speaker 1>the show. This is the biggest opportunity of your life.
<v Speaker 1>You're going into London. You need to be on point.
<v Speaker 1>You cannot be soft, you cannot be friends with people.
<v Speaker 1>You have to have eyes in the back of your head, right,
<v Speaker 1>That was the message he was trying to tell him.
<v Speaker 1>And look what happened, Kenny Omega dumped him on his
<v Speaker 1>fucking head. So the message is that John Moxley was
<v Speaker 1>telling the truth. He knew exactly what he was telling
<v Speaker 1>talking about and he turned out to be right. Right.
<v Speaker 1>You have to be willing to go for the kill shot.
<v Speaker 1>If not, the kill shot will come get you, which
<v Speaker 1>is what happened with Osprey. With Kenny, he told the
<v Speaker 1>doctors after he hit the move, go check on him.
<v Speaker 1>So it was like he was upset about the plastic bag.
<v Speaker 1>That's what he was upset about. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>he was upset that Osprey almost used it on him
<v Speaker 1>or he took too long to kind of think about
<v Speaker 1>whether or not he should use it on him and
<v Speaker 1>that pissed him off. But I'm going to assume that's
<v Speaker 1>the story we should hear from Kenny on TV this week.
<v Speaker 1>So that's what happened there. But now we have some
<v Speaker 1>real tension between them. And here's the thing I liked
<v Speaker 1>about the angle forget the fucking plastic bag or the
<v Speaker 1>little minute details of what they did. What I like
<v Speaker 1>about it is this, It's very simple. Now we have
<v Speaker 1>some real tension between Omega and Osprey. Heading into this show.
<v Speaker 1>We don't have the brother brother I love you, I
<v Speaker 1>respect you, you know, blah blah blah blah blah fucking
<v Speaker 1>gag me. Okay, like Mick Foley. So we don't have that.
<v Speaker 1>Now we want some real tension. Now we have it.
<v Speaker 1>And I said, John Moxley is going to be the
<v Speaker 1>catalyst to it. I didn't know it was going to
<v Speaker 1>go down exactly the way it did here, but Moxley
<v Speaker 1>was always going to be the one that was going
<v Speaker 1>to cause problems between these two. Osbury made his choice
<v Speaker 1>on this show that he is done with the death
<v Speaker 1>Rider seemingly, but as soon as Kenny saw that plastic bag,
<v Speaker 1>he took umbrage, right, he took offense. How could you
<v Speaker 1>even consider doing something like that to me? I thought
<v Speaker 1>I thought we were friends. I thought we were brothers.
<v Speaker 1>That's going to be the story now coming out of
<v Speaker 1>this show, and we'll see where they take it, where
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley fits into all this. Who's Moxley going to wrestle.
<v Speaker 1>Who's Moxley gonna defend his Continental title against? Are they
<v Speaker 1>just going to run back him? And hangmen, we're Swerve, Right,
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot of questions here that we don't have
<v Speaker 1>answers to. That was another thing about this show. You
<v Speaker 1>could feel that there was some really big names missing
<v Speaker 1>from this card, like MJF, like Hangman, like Swerve, like
<v Speaker 1>Okada Ta Keshta. Right, they were missing. They were missing
<v Speaker 1>a lot of names here on this show. But at
<v Speaker 1>least now we've got a new wrinkle here in this story.
<v Speaker 1>That's a good thing at least. And look, we have
<v Speaker 1>to get the eventual match between Osbrey and Moxley because
<v Speaker 1>not not just because the story dictates it, but because
<v Speaker 1>Will's got to get that win back from Dynasty. It's
<v Speaker 1>gonna happen at some point. So that was the redemption card,
<v Speaker 1>a pay per view that really did not need to happen.
<v Speaker 1>We got some we got some good wrestling, We got
<v Speaker 1>some stuff that I fucking hated on this show. You
<v Speaker 1>know what that is? We went We went over it already.
<v Speaker 1>This is going to end up being at the bottom
<v Speaker 1>of the list this year when it comes to aw
<v Speaker 1>pay per views. This will probably be rock fucking bottom,
<v Speaker 1>at least on my list, it will be. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think I was all that enamored with Forbidden Door, but
<v Speaker 1>I feel like there was more stuff I enjoyed on
<v Speaker 1>that show than I did, and that cage match, to
<v Speaker 1>be fair, that cage match at Forbidden Door, it turned
<v Speaker 1>out to be a lot more fun than I expected
<v Speaker 1>it to be. We didn't have anything like that on
<v Speaker 1>this show. They were parts of the show where I
<v Speaker 1>was fucking bored watching it, so was the crowd. And
<v Speaker 1>then there were just other things on the show that
<v Speaker 1>I just didn't care for, you know, whether it was
<v Speaker 1>some of the stuff we saw in the Jericho match,
<v Speaker 1>whether it was that awful chain match, just not great.
<v Speaker 1>But the stuff that was really good was really good.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't know where it ranks for you guys.
<v Speaker 1>For me, it's somewhere in the middle, but definitely on
<v Speaker 1>the lower side than the higher side. That was the
<v Speaker 1>story of Redemption, and that redemption is in the books.
<v Speaker 1>We don't care about Redemption anymore. Now. It's all about
<v Speaker 1>All In. It's their biggest show of the year five
<v Speaker 1>weeks away, and the card will start coming together very quickly.
<v Speaker 1>Now that there are no more pay per views between
<v Speaker 1>now and then, although we do have the Grand Slam
<v Speaker 1>Show at Arena Mexico coming up on August August fifth,
<v Speaker 1>so we'll see how that goes. All right, Let's take
<v Speaker 1>a look at your super chats and then I will
<v Speaker 1>get you guys on out of here. It doesn't look
<v Speaker 1>like we're gonna hit that likes goal, so it's looking
<v Speaker 1>like a be the Booker free night tonight. Unfortunately, we'll
<v Speaker 1>try again with Raw tomorrow, but let me get through
<v Speaker 1>your messages here. We have Athena versus Maya World at
<v Speaker 1>Wembley Stadium. You know you do that match, you're running
<v Speaker 1>into the same problem with like the bandido thing. Like
<v Speaker 1>Athena really isn't somebody who should be eating L's if
<v Speaker 1>she has this Ring of Honor World Championship that she's
<v Speaker 1>had for like, you know, ten thousand days. But I
<v Speaker 1>also don't want her going in there and beating my world,
<v Speaker 1>so I would actually avoid that match personally. Thank you,
<v Speaker 1>Rectangle Joseph Stewart showing some love tonight, Happy Sunday to
<v Speaker 1>you as well. Appreciate it. Yes, Ryan Gosling is going
<v Speaker 1>to play ghostwriter in the in the New Ghostwriter movie
<v Speaker 1>and my thoughts on Doom and Magneto finally being in
<v Speaker 1>a movie together. It sounds cool. I mean, there were
<v Speaker 1>two of my favorites when I used to collect the cards,
<v Speaker 1>so I think that's okay with me. What are your
<v Speaker 1>thoughts on Dominic Mysterio turning on El Grande Americano last
<v Speaker 1>night at Triple A. I did not see Triple A,
<v Speaker 1>so I have no comments on it. I assume that's
<v Speaker 1>the match at Triple Mania, and El Grande Americano should
<v Speaker 1>win the Triple A Mega title from dom on that show,
<v Speaker 1>and so long as he is the Triple A Mega Champion,
<v Speaker 1>Dominic Mysterio should not be losing the fucking Dan Housen
<v Speaker 1>at SummerSlam next weekend. Do you think Nick Wayne is
<v Speaker 1>going to be a big star and cross No? No,
<v Speaker 1>he's not crossover into Hollywood? Have you lost your mind?
<v Speaker 1>Do you think Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight are going
<v Speaker 1>to be big stars and crossover starting? No? No. Do
<v Speaker 1>you remember w WE had a Cane action figure in
<v Speaker 1>the nineties where you can remove his mask and his
<v Speaker 1>face was burnt. That might be worth something today. I
<v Speaker 1>don't have that myself. I did not see that. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't see those movies, Joseph, so I can't really comment
<v Speaker 1>on Julian's performance in though. Did you see the picture
<v Speaker 1>of both Dallas with Matt and Jeff Hardy at an
<v Speaker 1>autograph signing? I did. He's a free agent. Now he's
<v Speaker 1>a free man. We'll see if he decides to keep wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>And he's got some birthday shout outs for some lovely
<v Speaker 1>ladies and says, I hope you had a great weekend
<v Speaker 1>solo monster. I did, and now it's over, unfortunately, but
<v Speaker 1>thank you, Joseph. Philip Bowman, I mentioned Dark Side of
<v Speaker 1>the Ring last stream, and I just wanted to add
<v Speaker 1>Joe saying he agreed to do the match with necro
<v Speaker 1>Butcher to hang with his girlfriend now wife cracked me up.
<v Speaker 1>It was the best line of the entire episode. I
<v Speaker 1>talked about it in my full Dark Side review on
<v Speaker 1>the sound Off today. Go check it out. He says,
<v Speaker 1>what artists or bands could you personally apply and not
<v Speaker 1>apply the separate art or separate the art from the
<v Speaker 1>artist's mindset to I think there were people that would
<v Speaker 1>say that about Michael Jackson, whose music is iconic and
<v Speaker 1>timeless and great. I think that might. That's probably one
<v Speaker 1>of the better examples that you can think of. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure everybody will have their own personal favorites though that
<v Speaker 1>they can chime in with. Says. I still enjoy Deftones
<v Speaker 1>guitarist being a flat earther aside, but I'll never listen
<v Speaker 1>to RHCP because of Anthony likes some young Keatis. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>fuck that guy, Misfit Wrestling podcast with a ten. You
<v Speaker 1>mean to tell me the same? Will Osprey that hit
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega with a screwdriver that forbidden door a few
<v Speaker 1>years ago to win the United States Championship, that suffocating
<v Speaker 1>him as going too far? Evidently it is. Evidently it is.
<v Speaker 1>That's right, the dreaded screwdriver Zach the jet first time
<v Speaker 1>chatter here. I gotta be honest, Aw has fumbled Osprey's
<v Speaker 1>character heading into all in with this melodrama stuff with
<v Speaker 1>the death Riders. Well, I mean, this is the bed
<v Speaker 1>that they made months ago, and they decided to go
<v Speaker 1>with this story. They decided to go in that direction.
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad they're actually adding some story to it. Though
<v Speaker 1>I'm not gonna hate on that. I understand the story
<v Speaker 1>they're telling I think it's fairly easy to follow, especially
<v Speaker 1>after what happened tonight, and I'm glad that there is
<v Speaker 1>a story. If this is the match they were gonna do,
<v Speaker 1>you know, two babyfaces with him and Omega. You gotta
<v Speaker 1>create melo drama somehow. At least now we have some.
<v Speaker 1>I'd rather there be some The none boots Lexi Naire,
<v Speaker 1>Oh my goodness, don't let Big Bill hear you. He's
<v Speaker 1>gonna come stomp you out with his boots soon. WWE
<v Speaker 1>will buy Solemn Monster Sounds Off. It will be called
<v Speaker 1>WWE Sounds Off. Never Never Gonna happen. Ben Tucker says
<v Speaker 1>the first time in one of your live shots, Well, welcome, Ben.
<v Speaker 1>You picked a late one. I don't like it when
<v Speaker 1>we go this late, but if it's an aw pay
<v Speaker 1>per view, then you can rest asshirt. We're gonna be
<v Speaker 1>going on late. I usually don't even cover a lot
<v Speaker 1>of these shows because it's it's not worth it to
<v Speaker 1>stay up so late to talk about sometimes, but I
<v Speaker 1>figured this one. It was a new one. They bumped
<v Speaker 1>the start time up earlier, which means maybe it'll end earlier.
<v Speaker 1>Silly me. I mean it ended earlier than Forbidden Door did,
<v Speaker 1>but it's still went five fucking hours. This was the
<v Speaker 1>Tuesday in Texas. Yeah, Tuesday in Texas didn't have ten matches, though,
<v Speaker 1>tux Et Servos is. When I saw your first start time,
<v Speaker 1>I was wondering what you were drinking for the show. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>at least the review started before midnight Central Time. As
<v Speaker 1>always looked forward to the review. I knew the show
<v Speaker 1>was going to midnight. I knew it. I knew it
<v Speaker 1>in my heart. I knew it was going to midnight.
<v Speaker 1>Jersey authentic. These five hour pay per views are not it,
<v Speaker 1>and wwepls are no better. Wwepl e's are largely fucking terrible.
<v Speaker 1>I spoke a lot of weed nine here. He is
<v Speaker 1>add to be the booker. Match has been thrown out
<v Speaker 1>due to insert wrestler rep friends. Insert wrestler comes to
<v Speaker 1>even the score. Teddy Long has made this a tag
<v Speaker 1>team match player. That's not a bad one. Actually, that
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't be a bad one to head. I'll have to
<v Speaker 1>take that under advisement. Eric Dashawan with a twenty a
<v Speaker 1>rare night for me to be up this late, might
<v Speaker 1>as well give you some love so well. I appreciate
<v Speaker 1>that love, and I'm happy that you're hanging out with
<v Speaker 1>us tonight and retro Koah Solomoser just wrote the plot
<v Speaker 1>to the adult video Cactus Sack. That is a video
<v Speaker 1>that should never ever be made, and I hope to
<v Speaker 1>god it never does get made. Yeah, the Mick Foley
<v Speaker 1>thing was fucking weird. Holy shit, was that weird? But
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure you'll get people like, oh, it was funny,
<v Speaker 1>all right, listen. Uh. We had a brand new sound
<v Speaker 1>off that went up early episode nine three, talk about
<v Speaker 1>the busted Open Radio, WWE or WWE radio situation, Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slam predictions, Dark Side of the Ring review. You want
<v Speaker 1>to hear the Lost media That is the Global Force
<v Speaker 1>Gold video audio that Jeff Jarrett recorded many years ago.
<v Speaker 1>You can hear it at the beginning of the SoundOff.
<v Speaker 1>I'm only sorry I didn't find it early enough to
<v Speaker 1>include it in my Dark Side review last week, but
<v Speaker 1>I included it on the SoundOff earlier today, So go
<v Speaker 1>back and check that out. We got a lot of
<v Speaker 1>content coming this week, Raw Post Show, Uncrowned Wrestling Show
<v Speaker 1>on Tuesday, Tuesday Night Titans, the Dynamite fall out to
<v Speaker 1>this pay per view SmackDown, Friday, Summer Slam next weekend.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, there's a lot coming up, and I
<v Speaker 1>hope you guys are going to be here for it.
<v Speaker 1>So hit that subscribe button, hit that like button on
<v Speaker 1>your way out. Thank you for the super chats. You
<v Speaker 1>could always drop a super thing. Thanks after the fact
<v Speaker 1>in the comments section. That's up to you. Become a
<v Speaker 1>channel member. Got all kinds of stuff going on here.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna get out of here. We'll try again tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>We'll try to hit the goal tomorrow and do something.
<v Speaker 1>Be the Booker. I had it all revved up and
<v Speaker 1>ready to go. It was ready to go for a spin,
<v Speaker 1>and now it's just gonna sit idle until tomorrow night.
<v Speaker 1>Be well, stay safe, have yourselves a great rest of
<v Speaker 1>your night, and I will see you tomorrow night for
<v Speaker 1>the Raw review. Take care, guys,
