<v Speaker 1>You know, it was Josh Carlos in the chat who
<v Speaker 1>actually made a very astute observation. If you saw Triple
<v Speaker 1>H tonight on this show, he was in the opening segment,
<v Speaker 1>he did nothing. He did nothing. He contributed absolutely nothing,
<v Speaker 1>although he contributed so much tonight, just not in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>But he's starting to grow his hair back in. Is
<v Speaker 1>you notice that he's got the whole peach fuzz thing
<v Speaker 1>going on on top of his head. And I think
<v Speaker 1>Josh has a very astute point that the bald fraud
<v Speaker 1>comments have gotten to him because after all these years,
<v Speaker 1>he is starting to grow his hairback in. I think
<v Speaker 1>the comments have finally gotten to him. I suspect he's
<v Speaker 1>going to get a lot of them after the show tonight.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of bald fraud comments are probably gonna be
<v Speaker 1>coming his way on social media. You know what my
<v Speaker 1>biggest regret is, honestly, other than watching this show, of course,
<v Speaker 1>it's nights like this where I really wish I did
<v Speaker 1>have a serious XM subscription so that I could wake
<v Speaker 1>up in the morning and I could listen to bust
<v Speaker 1>at Open Radio just to see if they bust a
<v Speaker 1>nut to that concert segment. I need somebody to update
<v Speaker 1>me tomorrow on what I need to know what that
<v Speaker 1>conversation is going to be like when they talk about
<v Speaker 1>the concert that we had on Raw here tonight, Please
<v Speaker 1>update me on what is discussed there. Yeah, they're really
<v Speaker 1>gonna be putting that WWE radio thing to the test
<v Speaker 1>tomorrow coming off of this. What was the go home
<v Speaker 1>episode of Raw, the final Raw before Summer Slim. We
<v Speaker 1>have one show left to go. Summer Slim is on
<v Speaker 1>Saturday and Sunday. We have SmackDown on Friday. May the
<v Speaker 1>wrestling Gods be with us if the show on Friday
<v Speaker 1>is anything like what we had tonight. And here's the thing, Like,
<v Speaker 1>I think people expect me to come on here and
<v Speaker 1>kind of rip the entire thing to shreds, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and go on some sort of like epic meltdown or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>Because clearly there were a lot of people, just judging
<v Speaker 1>from the chat and others on social media, who were
<v Speaker 1>not enamored with this Raw show tonight and why should
<v Speaker 1>you be? Why should you be? It was the typical
<v Speaker 1>uninspired drivel that we typically get. But the thing about
<v Speaker 1>it is this we had on this this is the
<v Speaker 1>final push to Summer Slim. We had the final face
<v Speaker 1>to face between Roman Reigns and Seth Rawlins in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>They said absolutely nothing different than we've heard from them
<v Speaker 1>in every other segment that they have had up until tonight.
<v Speaker 1>They said the same stuff over and over again. Seth
<v Speaker 1>Rolins said the same stuff. Roman reign said the same stuff.
<v Speaker 1>I have to beat you, I have to beat you
<v Speaker 1>from my family. Seth Rollins talked about how I'm in
<v Speaker 1>your head, I've beaten you before, blah blah blah blah blah.
<v Speaker 1>We've heard this all before. We had brock Lesnar and Obafemi.
<v Speaker 1>Hell in a cell, right, I'm matter that I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>forward to this weekend as Summer Slim and they had
<v Speaker 1>the cell. They actually had the Giant Cell. They were
<v Speaker 1>there tonight in the Into It Dome in Los Angeles.
<v Speaker 1>If you didn't know that, I don't know how you
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't know that, because they constantly told you about all
<v Speaker 1>the celebrities that they had in attendance tonight, one of whom,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, took part in one of the worst
<v Speaker 1>television segments of the year, which we will get to.
<v Speaker 1>But they were in La the Giant Cell. I mean
<v Speaker 1>this thing is as big as I've ever seen it,
<v Speaker 1>so much so that it actually makes these guys look small.
<v Speaker 1>That's the drawback of having a cage that tall. It
<v Speaker 1>makes these guys who were gigantic look tiny. But they
<v Speaker 1>brought in the cell the time that it took them
<v Speaker 1>to assemble the cell and raise it and then lower it,
<v Speaker 1>and for what. So we had one last face to face.
<v Speaker 1>Brock wouldn't get in the cell. Oba was in the cell,
<v Speaker 1>so he had that visual of you know, the Oba's
<v Speaker 1>trying to get to him but he can't. And we
<v Speaker 1>have Paul Hayman on the microphone. Paul Hayman is saying
<v Speaker 1>the same thing over and over again. And to me,
<v Speaker 1>this is the greatest sin of WWE television right now.
<v Speaker 1>And this is nothing new, but it's nights like this
<v Speaker 1>where really gets driven home. They say the same shit
<v Speaker 1>over and over and over again the same way. Right.
<v Speaker 1>We hear the same basic beats that they hit in
<v Speaker 1>all their promos, and they just drive it home over
<v Speaker 1>and over and over again. So when you watch these
<v Speaker 1>television shows and sometimes I get this feeling. I know
<v Speaker 1>about you guys, but I'll get this feeling that, man,
<v Speaker 1>I feel like I've heard this before. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>I've watched this segment before. Where have I seen this?
<v Speaker 1>Where have I heard this on the show? Probably many
<v Speaker 1>times before. It's the same thing on repeat, over and
<v Speaker 1>over again. At this point, I mean, you didn't even
<v Speaker 1>need tonight's show. You're all up to date on what
<v Speaker 1>these stories are. You're either into the stories for these
<v Speaker 1>matches or you're not. It's as simple as that. They
<v Speaker 1>didn't do anything on this show tonight. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>to really get anybody to change their mind one way
<v Speaker 1>or the other as to whether or not they were
<v Speaker 1>going to carve out time this weekend coming up to
<v Speaker 1>watch Summer Slim. Right, you're either watching it or not.
<v Speaker 1>It's very simple. But that's what they did for the
<v Speaker 1>two big matches here on this show. Basically it was
<v Speaker 1>rinse repeat, and then there's Dan Housen. Now I like
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen. Dan Housen. I mean, the guy came into
<v Speaker 1>the company at the end of February and we are
<v Speaker 1>now in July. They strapped the rocket to this guy
<v Speaker 1>and they have just they have him everywhere, right, they
<v Speaker 1>got lucky with the nick stuff, but they have him everywhere.
<v Speaker 1>They literally now have a Dan Housen ice cream truck.
<v Speaker 1>Did you see this? I wish I would have pulled
<v Speaker 1>the photo of this thing. This thing looks horrifying. It's
<v Speaker 1>like his giant face on the front of a truck,
<v Speaker 1>and apparently they're gonna be driving it around the Minneapolis area.
<v Speaker 1>They have this new horror movie coming out, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>I think called ice Cream Man, and that's kind of
<v Speaker 1>what this reminds me of. Like, I wouldn't go up
<v Speaker 1>to this thing. But he is everywhere, and good for him,
<v Speaker 1>you know again, I'm happy for him and all the
<v Speaker 1>success that he's having. And I'm sure he's selling a
<v Speaker 1>shitload of merchandise because that's why they're featuring him so heavily,
<v Speaker 1>and they're pushing him so hard. So that's great for
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen. The problem is they're pushing him everywhere, and
<v Speaker 1>at some point, right people get burned out on that.
<v Speaker 1>So you have Dan Housen all over these shows, whether
<v Speaker 1>it was SmackDown Raw. He's in his laboratory, he's in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, he's stealing people's money, he's wrestling the occasional match.
<v Speaker 1>He's putting a curse on this guy. He's putting a
<v Speaker 1>curse on that guy, and all of these things are
<v Speaker 1>going on, and then I see last week that they
<v Speaker 1>promote a concert for Raw tonight where Dan Housen is
<v Speaker 1>going to be in concert with Joe Hendry, and I
<v Speaker 1>thought to myself, well, I thought a few things to myself.
<v Speaker 1>I said, first of all, that sounds absolutely terrible. Number one.
<v Speaker 1>Number two, I thought to myself, what is the purpose
<v Speaker 1>of Dan Hausen being in concert? And is Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 1>going to get an actual entrance on this show? Now
<v Speaker 1>I already knew the answer to the question. I just
<v Speaker 1>have to ask it out loud anyway, because it's a
<v Speaker 1>running joke here on these shows. I talk about it
<v Speaker 1>every week. Will Joe Hendry ever get a proper entrance
<v Speaker 1>for an actual match or really any segment on this show?
<v Speaker 1>The answer is no, by the way, But they announced
<v Speaker 1>this concert, and I said, this is either gonna be
<v Speaker 1>really really fun or this is gonna be really really terrible.
<v Speaker 1>They are not the Rock. The Rock is the only
<v Speaker 1>person outside of that one time that Elias had that
<v Speaker 1>great segment with Kevin Owens in Seattle. I mean, more
<v Speaker 1>heat than I've ever seen in my entire life. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>on Monday night Raw. There are rare exceptions, Okay, usually
<v Speaker 1>it's the rock who knows how to carry this sort
<v Speaker 1>of thing. And I know that the concert is it's
<v Speaker 1>the Joe Hendry thing. He was doing it in TNA.
<v Speaker 1>The reality of it is this WWE has made it
<v Speaker 1>very clear to you and me and the entire viewing
<v Speaker 1>audience what they think of Joe Hendry, which is to say,
<v Speaker 1>he's a nice guy, and he's a creative guy, and
<v Speaker 1>he gets a lot of credit for just sort of
<v Speaker 1>organically getting himself over and getting himself to the point
<v Speaker 1>where he got a contract with ww A. And I've
<v Speaker 1>had the chance to meet the guy and shake his hands.
<v Speaker 1>Super nice guy, right, I got nothing bad to say
<v Speaker 1>about him, But it's very very clear on the main
<v Speaker 1>roster in this company, he has no future. If you're
<v Speaker 1>a Joe Hendry fan who really wants to see him
<v Speaker 1>doing more, right, this guy's a former world champion in TNA,
<v Speaker 1>it ain't happening. What you see right now is as
<v Speaker 1>good as it's gonna get. I don't even know if
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna see him on the show a year from now,
<v Speaker 1>but put that on the side. They announced this segment
<v Speaker 1>and to start the segment. I thought fucking Elias was
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. We hear the fucking guitar strum, and
<v Speaker 1>then it's Joe Hendry and they proceed, He and Dan Housen. Right,
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendry has his guitar. Dan Housen is playing with
<v Speaker 1>his organ. I'm not so sure that that wouldn't have
<v Speaker 1>made for a better show than what we had tonight,
<v Speaker 1>But that's not the organ he was playing with. So
<v Speaker 1>to get your mind out of the gutter, he's playing
<v Speaker 1>with his organ and they're singing a song about how
<v Speaker 1>you know I believe that you are cursed. I believe
<v Speaker 1>that you are cursed. And I'm looking at the fans
<v Speaker 1>behind them in the crowd and they're sitting there and
<v Speaker 1>they look completely unamused by this. And it's going on
<v Speaker 1>and on and on and on, and finally we have
<v Speaker 1>the mini Housens come out, and now they're all dancing around,
<v Speaker 1>and then all of a sudden, there's a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>women in the in the fucking aisle with masks on
<v Speaker 1>their faces and they're waiting for their cue. And now
<v Speaker 1>they come running down to the ring and they're doing
<v Speaker 1>a whole dance routine outside the ring, and I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck am I watching? What the fuck am
<v Speaker 1>I watching? And how is this supposed to get me
<v Speaker 1>interested in anything that Dan Hausen is doing at Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slim because he actually does have a match at Summer Slim.
<v Speaker 1>So this is going on for an extended period of time.
<v Speaker 1>All of the everyone's dancing, they're singing this song. It's
<v Speaker 1>the same fucking lyrics over and over and over again,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm banging my head against the desk and I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>this is this is this is awful, this is terrible.
<v Speaker 1>It's like a stand up comedian doing a routine at
<v Speaker 1>a comedy club and the joke just doesn't land. So
<v Speaker 1>instead of moving on to the next joke or getting
<v Speaker 1>the hell off stage, he just continues to extend the joke.
<v Speaker 1>But then finally we had the Judgment Day come out
<v Speaker 1>because we're gonna try to tie this into this match
<v Speaker 1>that Dan Housen is having this weekend against Dominique Mysterio.
<v Speaker 1>And of course they love their celebrities, so they had
<v Speaker 1>this boxer who was there, and I know he's got
<v Speaker 1>a big following. He's got like one point two or
<v Speaker 1>one point three million followers on social media and he
<v Speaker 1>gets involved in the segment that he hits Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 1>from behind with the guitar and helps the judgment day.
<v Speaker 1>I don't give a shit. Who cares? And the worst
<v Speaker 1>part about it is because Dan Housen got left laying
<v Speaker 1>at the end of all this, It probably means he's
<v Speaker 1>winning this weekend, means he's gonna beat the Triple A
<v Speaker 1>Mega Champion. I'm sure that thrills the Undertaker to no
<v Speaker 1>when they have room on that show this weekend for
<v Speaker 1>that match. I guess because Dan Housend is super over.
<v Speaker 1>We have three sets of tag team titles in this company.
<v Speaker 1>Do you realize that we have three? We have a
<v Speaker 1>tag team title on Raw, we have a tag team
<v Speaker 1>title on SmackDown. We have a women's tag team championship,
<v Speaker 1>which just changed hands at Saturday Night's main Events. So
<v Speaker 1>at least that got defended on that show. Not that
<v Speaker 1>I give a shit, I mean those belts, give me
<v Speaker 1>a break, please, But nonetheless, three sets of tag team titles.
<v Speaker 1>You got two nights of Summerslim this year, twelve matches,
<v Speaker 1>I believe so far. I thought maybe they were going
<v Speaker 1>to announce a thirteenth match tonight they didn't, which is fine.
<v Speaker 1>Hey it twelve matches, cool, not one of them? Do
<v Speaker 1>you see a tag team title defense? I mean, we
<v Speaker 1>can go up and down the list of all the
<v Speaker 1>different people who were missing and who were not on
<v Speaker 1>that car. Don't get me started on the car. Oh
<v Speaker 1>hey stuff and other people who have been missing from
<v Speaker 1>the show. But we have Dominic Mysterio and Dan Housen
<v Speaker 1>and we have a new stipulation that was just added
<v Speaker 1>to the match tonight, Human monies on a pole. Yeah yeah, oh,
<v Speaker 1>I bet there's a certain someone who got a warm,
<v Speaker 1>tingly feeling going up his leg. Bro. Yes, we have
<v Speaker 1>a pole match. It is now a pole match. I
<v Speaker 1>wanted to take a poll and whoever wrote that segment,
<v Speaker 1>and I beat them over the head with it. But
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the day, right as I go
<v Speaker 1>on about this segment, and I get very animated about
<v Speaker 1>this segment because it was genuinely awful television. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>in all honesty, whoever was responsible for that segment should
<v Speaker 1>not be allowed to put their two cents in. For
<v Speaker 1>a while, it was terrible television. But at the end
<v Speaker 1>of the day, it was just one segment. There's a
<v Speaker 1>larger problem right, because it's one bad segment, but it's
<v Speaker 1>one bad segment on a show that just isn't very good.
<v Speaker 1>And that's the real sin right now when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to WWE television, for all the talented men and women
<v Speaker 1>they have on that roster, and every now and then
<v Speaker 1>you may get a gem of a segment. And even tonight,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I'm trying to look at this show, which
<v Speaker 1>I'm not enjoying as it's going on, and I'm trying
<v Speaker 1>to find little rays of light. Javon Evans and Russev
<v Speaker 1>had themselves a solid match tonight. Raymisterio and Ethan Page
<v Speaker 1>had themselves a solid match tonight with the right outcomes
<v Speaker 1>by the way. Javon won his match, Ethan won his match.
<v Speaker 1>That's good. Four men who are not even on the
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam card this weekend, on this final raw before SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>Not one of those men are actually wrestling this weekend.
<v Speaker 1>But okay, Raquel Rodriguez against Soul Ruka. We have a
<v Speaker 1>brand new Women's Intercontinental Champion, which I think I may
<v Speaker 1>I said last week, we're probab going to get a
<v Speaker 1>title change here. And there were a couple of people
<v Speaker 1>who are like well, what are you talking about? Sold
<v Speaker 1>just won the belt not that long ago. Why are
<v Speaker 1>you going to change the title? Look, I'm not the
<v Speaker 1>one book in the show. I'm just telling you what
<v Speaker 1>I thought was gonna happen here, because we already had
<v Speaker 1>a match between them a few weeks ago and they
<v Speaker 1>were running it back, and I didn't think they were
<v Speaker 1>gonna beat Raquel for a second time. It just felt
<v Speaker 1>to me like we might be getting a title change
<v Speaker 1>on this show, and we did. Neither of those women
<v Speaker 1>are also on the SummerSlam card this weekend, but I
<v Speaker 1>was very happy for Raquel. Raquel has really if you
<v Speaker 1>think about where she was a couple of years ago, well,
<v Speaker 1>especially when she was a babyface. I'm talking like pre
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day, coming out smiling right. She put that the
<v Speaker 1>muscles up so you could see her back muscles and everything.
<v Speaker 1>That was her whole gimmick. She would come out and
<v Speaker 1>show you her back muscles. Oh okay, cool, What else
<v Speaker 1>can you tell me about her? She was on the
<v Speaker 1>road to nowhere. Her going heel and joining the Judgment
<v Speaker 1>Day did wonders for her, and apparently the criticism that
<v Speaker 1>she had gotten from Kevin nat which she took to heart,
<v Speaker 1>also did wonders for her and she upped her game,
<v Speaker 1>so I thought it was cool to see her actually
<v Speaker 1>win her first championship here tonight. It did not come easy.
<v Speaker 1>She got her nose busted up by Soul. It opens
<v Speaker 1>up other questions too, now that they've taken the title
<v Speaker 1>off of soul Ruka two months after she won it.
<v Speaker 1>You know, is she just going to get a rematch
<v Speaker 1>and win it back or you know, where are they
<v Speaker 1>going to go with it. I don't know. Sol Ruka
<v Speaker 1>has really not done much of anything since Becky worked
<v Speaker 1>with her and she beat Becky to win the championship.
<v Speaker 1>But we can point to different people on these shows
<v Speaker 1>where you look at their booking and how they're being used,
<v Speaker 1>if they're being used, certain people who just sort of vanished,
<v Speaker 1>and why did they vanish? It is an injury issue?
<v Speaker 1>Is there something else going on? And I don't know
<v Speaker 1>the answer to all that, But at the end of
<v Speaker 1>the day, the greatest sin of these shows is that
<v Speaker 1>they're just not good. They're not good and in some
<v Speaker 1>cases they're actually quite boring. And I find myself sitting
<v Speaker 1>here as we go into the second biggest WWE event,
<v Speaker 1>of the Year this weekend, and I can't wait for
<v Speaker 1>it to be over so we can get beyond these
<v Speaker 1>current stories and we can move on to whatever those
<v Speaker 1>next stories are going to be. We know Obafemi is
<v Speaker 1>going to beat brock Lesner this weekend. Anything else would
<v Speaker 1>be an unconscionable decision on their part, unconscionable. So when
<v Speaker 1>he beats brock Lesner, I'm wondering where to next with Obafemi. Right,
<v Speaker 1>everyone is easy to sit here and talk about WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>They're going to do Obafemi in Roman reigns. I worry
<v Speaker 1>about what the next six months are going to look like.
<v Speaker 1>I worry about that with a lot of these people.
<v Speaker 1>I look at some of the people who were building
<v Speaker 1>momentum and seemingly, you know, they were at a position
<v Speaker 1>where okay, these guys, they're on the cusp, right, They're
<v Speaker 1>on the cusp of being elevated into that next level,
<v Speaker 1>and we get some new faces there at the top
<v Speaker 1>of the card. I look at a Jacob Fatu, I
<v Speaker 1>look at a bron Breaker, and I look at where
<v Speaker 1>they are now and I just again, I shake my head.
<v Speaker 1>I look, bron Breaker may be the worst example of this,
<v Speaker 1>you know, And in his case, I understand that the
<v Speaker 1>hernia didn't do him any favors and he was gone
<v Speaker 1>for a few months there, but still that was months ago.
<v Speaker 1>To see where he is now, to see where he
<v Speaker 1>is right now at this moment relative to where he
<v Speaker 1>was at the beginning of the year, it's startling. It
<v Speaker 1>is startling. And he's not the only one I could
<v Speaker 1>say that about, right, I've talked about Gunther. This is
<v Speaker 1>a company that we talk a lot about how they're
<v Speaker 1>built on moments, viral moments. They love, they love their
<v Speaker 1>viral moments. They love when they can bring a celebrity in.
<v Speaker 1>There are certain things they love to do and Triple
<v Speaker 1>Ah as a booker, has a certain reliance on certain
<v Speaker 1>tools and techniques. Right, He's very big on returns or
<v Speaker 1>turns or masked men. Right. He always goes back to
<v Speaker 1>his bread and butter and true. And we see a
<v Speaker 1>lot of this repeated on these shows. But then you
<v Speaker 1>also see people these start and stop pushes or they're
<v Speaker 1>starting to get behind somebody, but then they kind of
<v Speaker 1>get cold on them, and you're just you're kind of
<v Speaker 1>scratching your head wondering why and what we're left with
<v Speaker 1>here with these week to week television show and I
<v Speaker 1>don't even get me started on again all of the braak.
<v Speaker 1>I know, everyone bitches and moans about the commercials and everything.
<v Speaker 1>It's a necessary evil. It's not going away. It is
<v Speaker 1>what it is. Does it help the shows? It sure
<v Speaker 1>doesn't help the shows at all when you're constantly breaking
<v Speaker 1>in the middle of matches and stuff like that, so
<v Speaker 1>that only makes it worse, right, But I don't even
<v Speaker 1>talk about that, you know too much, because what are
<v Speaker 1>you gonna do? Right, Every television show has commercials. It
<v Speaker 1>feels like there's more of them now than ever before.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm talking about the quality of the actual television shows.
<v Speaker 1>I want these shows to make me feel something for
<v Speaker 1>some of these people. I want to be invested in
<v Speaker 1>as many characters as possible on the show, whether they're
<v Speaker 1>a heal or a babyface. There's one character you gotta
<v Speaker 1>think I'm nuts or maybe not, maybe you agree with me,
<v Speaker 1>but there's one character that was actually on the show tonight.
<v Speaker 1>And for all the shit that I talked about the
<v Speaker 1>MFT stuff on SmackDown and how awful that was, and
<v Speaker 1>they went with it for far too long. Again not
<v Speaker 1>interesting television. That's another great example of what I'm talking about,
<v Speaker 1>where you have a faction on that show on Fridays
<v Speaker 1>for months and months and months, right the MFTs, and
<v Speaker 1>they're going out there to the ring, and I'm not
<v Speaker 1>sure what they're supposed to be. I'm not sure how
<v Speaker 1>I'm supposed to feel about them when they're on my
<v Speaker 1>television screen. Am I supposed to really hate these people?
<v Speaker 1>Because I don't. I don't like them either, I'm just
<v Speaker 1>sort of indifferent towards them. I find myself being indifferent
<v Speaker 1>towards a lot of people on these shows. But like
<v Speaker 1>that was one of the worst examples of it, because
<v Speaker 1>they couldn't even respect the audience enough to kind of
<v Speaker 1>bring you in and and tell you more about like
<v Speaker 1>who these guys are and why you should give a
<v Speaker 1>shit about them, right. They couldn't do it. They couldn't
<v Speaker 1>do it. So it was the same old shit week
<v Speaker 1>after week, month after month, until finally they started firing
<v Speaker 1>some of them, and these guys lost their jobs. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not even sure Talatoga and Tomatoga are safe from that.
<v Speaker 1>They're still employed for the time being. But the MFTs
<v Speaker 1>was a complete waste of time, and Solo Sokoa is
<v Speaker 1>someone who was completely miscast on the show, and I
<v Speaker 1>always said, man, this guy has a babyface run in him,
<v Speaker 1>and you're starting to see some of that bear fruit, right.
<v Speaker 1>He actually got some light Solo chants tonight at the
<v Speaker 1>end to it, Dome what he's doing right now, Keep
<v Speaker 1>doing what you're doing with him, and I think he'll
<v Speaker 1>continue to get over as a babyface. Of course, my
<v Speaker 1>fear now is that WWE is gonna end up having
<v Speaker 1>him do some big shock turn back heel and enjoin
<v Speaker 1>the bloodline and fuck the whole damn thing up. But
<v Speaker 1>like I looked at him tonight on the show and
<v Speaker 1>I said, you know, you know what, I'm digging what
<v Speaker 1>he's doing. For the first time in months, I'm digging
<v Speaker 1>what Solo Socoa is doing. So work on that, right,
<v Speaker 1>focus on that, go in that direction, maybe that could
<v Speaker 1>be something. And I'm trying to find different people on
<v Speaker 1>the show where it's like I like what this guy's doing,
<v Speaker 1>or hey, I like her, she's kind of cool, right,
<v Speaker 1>she's different. Focus on that person. Let's get something going here,
<v Speaker 1>because these shows there're so monotonous and it's it's like
<v Speaker 1>there's no real life, there's no pulse to it. Every
<v Speaker 1>single week, they're going through the motions from segment to segment.
<v Speaker 1>They're trying to sell you on this and sell you
<v Speaker 1>on that. Now, we're gonna get WWE radio plugs up
<v Speaker 1>the ass now every week, So now we're gonna be
<v Speaker 1>hearing about that constantly, and they're they're shoving all of
<v Speaker 1>this in your face, one right after the other after
<v Speaker 1>the other. It's one giant infomercial when as a viewer,
<v Speaker 1>all I want as a wrestling fan is for you
<v Speaker 1>to tell me why I should give a shit about
<v Speaker 1>this and that and that person and that, And I
<v Speaker 1>don't know that there has ever been a time, certainly
<v Speaker 1>not in many years where it was this bad, where
<v Speaker 1>it's just like I don't care. I don't care, and
<v Speaker 1>I want you to make me care. And that's a problem.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I feel when I watch so many of
<v Speaker 1>these shows. From week to week. We joke about how
<v Speaker 1>awful the weekly television is. And it used to be
<v Speaker 1>a situation where you would get to the pay per
<v Speaker 1>views and well, you know, at least the pay per
<v Speaker 1>reviews to get some big matches, and the pay per
<v Speaker 1>views are these like great shows, and you can't even
<v Speaker 1>really rely on that all the time anymore. I feel like,
<v Speaker 1>more often than not, you do get some really good
<v Speaker 1>matches on those shows, but it's not a guarantee. It's
<v Speaker 1>not a guarantee, especially when you get these four match
<v Speaker 1>cards five match cards. I don't know, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what this product these days, and I hear from other
<v Speaker 1>people because I think maybe it's just me, right, There'll
<v Speaker 1>be a WWE diehard fan will be like, well, just
<v Speaker 1>stop watching, just stop watching. Yeah. Lex Luger used to
<v Speaker 1>come out when he was doing his all American gimmick
<v Speaker 1>and he was feuding with Ludwig Borga. I remember they
<v Speaker 1>had a face to fit or maybe I've even been
<v Speaker 1>him and Yokozuna, but I think it was him in
<v Speaker 1>Borga and he had that line he goes, love it
<v Speaker 1>or leave it right. So he got the WWE die hards.
<v Speaker 1>Every time is any sort of critique or anything, and
<v Speaker 1>they'll be like, basically, love it or leave it right,
<v Speaker 1>And I'm like, well, I've loved it for so long.
<v Speaker 1>I think that I've at least earned the right to
<v Speaker 1>stick around long enough to voice my opinion and hope
<v Speaker 1>maybe that things will improve and things will get better,
<v Speaker 1>and it doesn't. And I don't know that there's any
<v Speaker 1>reason to be optimistic that anything is going to radically change,
<v Speaker 1>especially especially in this TKO era of WWE. This just
<v Speaker 1>may be the way it is. Truby watching Unreal Season three,
<v Speaker 1>which I finally just wrapped up this morning, it struck
<v Speaker 1>me watching it. And when they take you into the
<v Speaker 1>writer's room and they take you to the gorilla position
<v Speaker 1>and you see some of those same thing you see
<v Speaker 1>obviously Triple H is there, and you know, there's Bruce
<v Speaker 1>Pritchard and there's Michael Hayes, and it's the same faces
<v Speaker 1>and the same voices. How much of that is the problem.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe we need an overhaul in that department. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what is missing, the spark that is
<v Speaker 1>missing from so many of these shows. It's depressing, it
<v Speaker 1>really is. So the Dan Housen stuff is just one
<v Speaker 1>segment on a show. Why a lot of people are
<v Speaker 1>going to be dumping on it, rightfully so talking about
<v Speaker 1>how awful it was. It's one bad segment on a
<v Speaker 1>television show. But it's a television show that on the
<v Speaker 1>whole has not been very good for some time now,
<v Speaker 1>and that's the bigger issue. How do you fix that?
<v Speaker 1>How do you fix that? Everyone's got ideas on like, well,
<v Speaker 1>they should do this, and they should do that right,
<v Speaker 1>fewer commercials or you know, push this guy, or let's
<v Speaker 1>you know, merge the tag team title. These are all
<v Speaker 1>fine ideas. These are all fine ideas, but they're not
<v Speaker 1>going to do that. How do you fix this? I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I don't know right now. I'm just hoping
<v Speaker 1>that we can get a really good Summer Slam card
<v Speaker 1>this weekend and then coming out of that show, push
<v Speaker 1>the reset button. And now you've got that period from
<v Speaker 1>post Summer Slam heading into Rumble and wrestle Menia season,
<v Speaker 1>and there are a lot of times where that tends
<v Speaker 1>to be a very dead period in WWE as you
<v Speaker 1>get closer to the end of the year. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't know that they're necessarily going to be giving us
<v Speaker 1>anything that is going to be radically different and radically
<v Speaker 1>more exciting than what we're We probably will see some
<v Speaker 1>people disappear too, rock Lesnar Roman reigns, they'll probably go away.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it's a good opportunity for some of the other
<v Speaker 1>faces to step up. But do you trust Triple H
<v Speaker 1>and WWE to actually put their foot on the gas
<v Speaker 1>and let those guys excel and let those guys try
<v Speaker 1>to make it to that next level. Based on the
<v Speaker 1>way some of them have been booked this year and
<v Speaker 1>what they have them doing right now, I'm not very
<v Speaker 1>optimistic about that. This is your Monday Night Raw review.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, before I even move on here, for
<v Speaker 1>those of you who are YouTube TV subscribers, you'll be
<v Speaker 1>happy to know supposedly you have access now to ESPN
<v Speaker 1>Unlimited like YouTube TV was like the last holdout, and
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people have had access to ESPN Unlimited
<v Speaker 1>for almost a year now. Supposedly, now YouTube TV you do.
<v Speaker 1>I don't at OVI as subscriber. I tried it. I
<v Speaker 1>don't see the option for it. I went through all
<v Speaker 1>the steps, So either it's all bullshit or they just
<v Speaker 1>have I'm one of the lucky ones who I guess
<v Speaker 1>it hasn't rolled out to you yet, so I guess
<v Speaker 1>I'll have to VP at it and watch Summer Slam
<v Speaker 1>on Netflix this weekend. But this is your Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>Raw review. It is July twenty seventh, twenty twenty six.
<v Speaker 1>I am the Solemn Monster. Thank you guys forgetting me.
<v Speaker 1>If you didn't notice to ninety three thousand subscribers, I
<v Speaker 1>appreciate it very much. Now the March to ninety four begins.
<v Speaker 1>That wasn't a great year for WWE business wise. We
<v Speaker 1>did get some really good matches that year, though, But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for ninety three k. Superchats are open. Get
<v Speaker 1>them on in and if they come in, I will
<v Speaker 1>be reading your messages a little bit later on got cuts.
<v Speaker 1>Fock there, Brandon, there he is fuck thatch, Hey, Brandon,
<v Speaker 1>thank you? Oh who is it? Arabian Night just mentioned
<v Speaker 1>that awful chain match last night at Redemption, and here
<v Speaker 1>I thought that that was gonna be the worst thing
<v Speaker 1>I saw all week on wrestling television. Boy was I wrong.
<v Speaker 1>Actually it still may have been, because that one went
<v Speaker 1>a lot longer than the concert did. The best thing
<v Speaker 1>I can say about the concert tonight is that at
<v Speaker 1>least they didn't go twenty minutes. That chain match was
<v Speaker 1>fucking awful last night. Oh my god. Anyway, there's a
<v Speaker 1>couple of new super chats. You'll see them listed down
<v Speaker 1>in the description below. I think those are the fourteen
<v Speaker 1>and fifteen dollars ones And yes, I did review Redemption
<v Speaker 1>last night, so if you missed it, my live review.
<v Speaker 1>The video is up right now talking aw Redemption. For
<v Speaker 1>those of you who are interested in that, you're certainly
<v Speaker 1>not gonna hear about that on WWE Radio. I had
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people message me and go not one
<v Speaker 1>moment of discussion about Redemption this morning, And I say, well,
<v Speaker 1>it's called WWE Radio. What did you expect? Spin the wheel?
<v Speaker 1>See how many likes we are gonna need for tonight.
<v Speaker 1>I think this wheel spin is more exciting than the
<v Speaker 1>concert that we had on TV tonight. In fact, I
<v Speaker 1>know it is five hundred and fifteen likes, very doable.
<v Speaker 1>We're already closing in on four hundred, so five point
<v Speaker 1>fifteen is all we need. I feel pretty good about that.
<v Speaker 1>I wish I could say I felt pretty good about
<v Speaker 1>this show, but that would be a lie. They opened
<v Speaker 1>the show with the Way in We're gonna go segment
<v Speaker 1>by segment here and break this boy, Dan, We're gonna
<v Speaker 1>start with this. We had the way in. Triple h
<v Speaker 1>was in the ring, not to weigh in, but he
<v Speaker 1>was in the ring with Adam Pierce and the hell
<v Speaker 1>in a cell was above the ring and it was
<v Speaker 1>slowly ominously being lowered, and I just thought, fuck, I
<v Speaker 1>forgot how tall this new cell is. It's like I
<v Speaker 1>said before, it makes these guys like Brock and Oba
<v Speaker 1>are two big dudes, and it makes them look tiny
<v Speaker 1>because it's just so big. I don't know why they
<v Speaker 1>made it so big. I'm just glad it's not red anymore.
<v Speaker 1>Remember the red cell era, God, that was awful. I'm
<v Speaker 1>glad they actually went back to the gray. So they
<v Speaker 1>cut to a shot of Obafemi and he was walking
<v Speaker 1>through the back. Then we got a split screen. We
<v Speaker 1>had Brock walking on one side, we had Oba walking
<v Speaker 1>on the other, and they were playing that dramatic music
<v Speaker 1>in the background that they used to play like when
<v Speaker 1>somebody would be in the back, and they might still
<v Speaker 1>use it in NXT, but they used to play it
<v Speaker 1>in the background like dun as somebody was walking. So
<v Speaker 1>they were playing that. I think that adds a lot
<v Speaker 1>to the presentation. So I kind of liked that. So
<v Speaker 1>Oba strutted to the ring first, and he disrobed to
<v Speaker 1>step on the scale. He weighed in at three hundred
<v Speaker 1>and two pounds, after which Pierce introduced Brock, Lesner and
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman to the ring. They came down. They didn't strut,
<v Speaker 1>but they came down, and just before Brock was about
<v Speaker 1>to enter the cage, he shut the door. He locked it.
<v Speaker 1>Oba jumped out of the ring and he was trying
<v Speaker 1>to open the door, but the door was locked and
<v Speaker 1>he was basically face to face with Brock. He couldn't
<v Speaker 1>get to him. Brock's just laughing at him. So Hayman
<v Speaker 1>cut a promo as Brock circled the cell outside and
<v Speaker 1>Hayman said that there was a change in plans. And
<v Speaker 1>Brock had the key in his mouth, a key to
<v Speaker 1>the door, and he climbed on top of the announced desk.
<v Speaker 1>Hayman's microphone kept cutting out on him. It happened at
<v Speaker 1>least twice. I think he got two different microphones, just
<v Speaker 1>kept happening to him. Freaking billion dollar company with equipment
<v Speaker 1>worth tens of dollars. So Hayman ran through Brock's accolades
<v Speaker 1>and he repeated the same stuff that we always hear
<v Speaker 1>him say. It's the same shit over and over again.
<v Speaker 1>You know, my client ended the Undertaker's undefeated streak at wrestle.
<v Speaker 1>Many of the conqueror and blah blah blah blah blah,
<v Speaker 1>the same shit every week. He's the beast of the Broctagon,
<v Speaker 1>undefeated inside hell in a cell. He's had two matches.
<v Speaker 1>The man is wrestled twice in twenty five years inside
<v Speaker 1>the cell against the same person. Don't last twice. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>he's undefeated. It's not as impressive as it sounds, though.
<v Speaker 1>Haymon said, Lesnar already weighed in backstage. Yes, they had
<v Speaker 1>a weigh in on this show. They had a scale
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, and he said, oh, he already weighed
<v Speaker 1>in backstage. Three hundred and three pounds one pound more.
<v Speaker 1>Three oh three is what they used to announce Hogan
<v Speaker 1>at He was every bit of that too. You look
<v Speaker 1>at him back in eighty six. He was every bit
<v Speaker 1>of that three oh three. So Lesner took the mic
<v Speaker 1>and he said, I'll see you at SummerSlam. Bitch. He
<v Speaker 1>loves saying that word. So they went to go walk away,
<v Speaker 1>and Oba told Lesner, yeah, run away like you always do.
<v Speaker 1>Lesner headed back towards the cell. Obit told him just
<v Speaker 1>remember he's not going to be locked in the cell
<v Speaker 1>with Brock. Brock is going to be locked in the
<v Speaker 1>cell with him, and that's what I love, bitch. Lesner's
<v Speaker 1>yelling at him and laughing. They're like, face to face,
<v Speaker 1>that's what I love, bitch. And then Lesner flips him
<v Speaker 1>the double bird and so Oba flips him the double
<v Speaker 1>bird back, and I'm just like, I'm watching this and
<v Speaker 1>I'm just thinking to myself between that and the shirt
<v Speaker 1>that Brock was wearing, because he was wearing his talk
<v Speaker 1>shit get hit shirt. Boy, these Netflix sensors, they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>be working overtime this week. They're going to be earning
<v Speaker 1>that paycheck with all the editing that they're going to
<v Speaker 1>have to do with this show. So Oba started beating
<v Speaker 1>up all the fake police officers in the ring. I
<v Speaker 1>guess now we're supposed to believe that they are real
<v Speaker 1>cops after we were told last week that the rent
<v Speaker 1>to cops on the show were paid for by Hayman.
<v Speaker 1>But I guess these were real cops, right, because real
<v Speaker 1>cops would just stand there like a bunch of fucking
<v Speaker 1>idiots and let this guy beat them up. Oba would
<v Speaker 1>be tased then on the ground in five seconds. But
<v Speaker 1>they're just dead and they're like punching bags and he's
<v Speaker 1>kicking him and throwing them around. There was one one
<v Speaker 1>of the cops slash indie wrestlers who almost got hurt
<v Speaker 1>on a botched fall from grace attempt. He went up
<v Speaker 1>for it wrong and so Oba had a reset and
<v Speaker 1>then he finally hit the fall from grace, but it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't graceful when he tried to do it the first time.
<v Speaker 1>And that was it a very whole hum segment. There
<v Speaker 1>wasn't anything particularly wrong with it. We got that visual
<v Speaker 1>of the two of them being separated only by the
<v Speaker 1>thin mesh of the cage, right, so we got no
<v Speaker 1>physicality between them. They wanted to keep them apart. That
<v Speaker 1>visual was kind of cool. I don't know why Triple
<v Speaker 1>H was in the ring other than oh, he's Triple H,
<v Speaker 1>and so his mere presence means that this is an
<v Speaker 1>important segment. Okay, sure, I guess this just all felt
<v Speaker 1>very pointless. The alternative was you don't have them on
<v Speaker 1>the show and you just run a couple of vignettes.
<v Speaker 1>We already got that up and down the show. We
<v Speaker 1>had vignettes from Chad Gable and Penta and EO and
<v Speaker 1>Live and it's like, how many vignettes are you going
<v Speaker 1>to run, right, you want to have them in the building.
<v Speaker 1>So I'm not saying like I would have had them
<v Speaker 1>have a pull apart brawl or anything like that. I'm
<v Speaker 1>just saying, Hayman out there doing his usual spiel. Brock
<v Speaker 1>didn't even weigh in in the actual ring. It was like, Eh, okay, whatever,
<v Speaker 1>I'm already excited to see the match. I'm excited to
<v Speaker 1>see the blowoff. I'm excited to see this over and
<v Speaker 1>done with. Oba Femi should be wrestling Roman Reigns this weekend,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, for the World Heavyweight Championship. I don't
<v Speaker 1>give a shit if you disagree with me on that.
<v Speaker 1>When I talk about how these shows are very boring
<v Speaker 1>and there's a sameness to them, this is why you
<v Speaker 1>want to shake things up. You want to know, don't
<v Speaker 1>be afraid to push new people and put them in
<v Speaker 1>situations that maybe they ordinarily wouldn't be in. Uh oh,
<v Speaker 1>I gotta save it for Mania next year. Really, this
<v Speaker 1>product can really use a kick in the ass right now.
<v Speaker 1>Opa Femi should be wrestling Roman Reigns after winning King
<v Speaker 1>of the Ring for the World Heavyweight Championship. This weekend,
<v Speaker 1>we had Otis and Tozawa against Bron Breaker and Austin Theory.
<v Speaker 1>This was a non title match. Crowd popped when Otis
<v Speaker 1>made the hot tag into the match and he hit
<v Speaker 1>both guys with avalanches in the corner. He did the
<v Speaker 1>caterpillar you know, splash or elbow drop whatever to bron Breaker.
<v Speaker 1>Tozawa hit Theory with the dive out to the floor
<v Speaker 1>and then he goes up top. He's going to go
<v Speaker 1>for the giant senta on he gets the height on this.
<v Speaker 1>We talk about montes Ford and the height that he
<v Speaker 1>gets on the frog splash. I don't think Tozawa gets
<v Speaker 1>enough love for the height that he gets on that
<v Speaker 1>centa holy shit. So he comes jumping off the top rope.
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul though, distracted him first and that little delay
<v Speaker 1>caused him when he came down to land on Theory's knees.
<v Speaker 1>So on the floor, Breaker sent Otis into the barricade.
<v Speaker 1>Theory then held Tozawa in the ring open for the
<v Speaker 1>big super spear by Breaker. She now calls double vision
<v Speaker 1>and Breaker got the win. So when the match was over,
<v Speaker 1>they were ganging up on Tozawa. Otis made the save
<v Speaker 1>and he climbed the ropes he was gonna give Theory
<v Speaker 1>of Vaderbambine, though distracts Otis and so Theory and Breaker.
<v Speaker 1>They are able to then lift him for a double
<v Speaker 1>power bomb, and then Otis ate a super spear from
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker, so the vision we're leaving. Theory grabbed a chair.
<v Speaker 1>He smashed Otis in the head, so basically his head
<v Speaker 1>was up against the ring post and sandwiched his head
<v Speaker 1>up against the post with the chair. You know, I
<v Speaker 1>thought they might be doing this non title match here
<v Speaker 1>on this show to shoot some sort of angle, you know,
<v Speaker 1>at the finish that would then set up an actual
<v Speaker 1>title match for Summerslim because we have no tag team
<v Speaker 1>title defenses. Ah yes on this show. And that will
<v Speaker 1>still be the case because there will be no tag
<v Speaker 1>team title match. Not only did they not set anything
<v Speaker 1>up for the vision It's SummerSlam, but they seemingly wrote
<v Speaker 1>Otis off television with an injury angle at least for
<v Speaker 1>a few weeks. Otherwise, why would they do what they
<v Speaker 1>did there at the end. It's got to be at
<v Speaker 1>least a few weeks. The fall of bron Breaker is uh,
<v Speaker 1>it just has to be studied. Compared to where he
<v Speaker 1>was a year even a year ago. You even have
<v Speaker 1>to go back to the beginning of this year. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he was a guy on the ascent and I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>but you know, like the injury that he had earlier
<v Speaker 1>this year, that's not an excuse. Oh well, he got hurt,
<v Speaker 1>it stalled his momentum. Okay, fine, that was in March.
<v Speaker 1>We're in almost August now, Okay, so that excuse doesn't fly.
<v Speaker 1>He's stuck at a tag team with Austin Theory, of
<v Speaker 1>which he's not even the real focal point of the
<v Speaker 1>vision anymore. The vision doesn't have Paul Hayman, the vision
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have seth Rollins. You would think the bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>by by default, would be the lead guy, that he
<v Speaker 1>would be the focus of this group. He's not. Even
<v Speaker 1>Maxine Dupree and Austin Theory now are the focus of
<v Speaker 1>the vision. Bron Bre is a background player in his
<v Speaker 1>own group. He's part of a tag team. Oh but
<v Speaker 1>he could run the ropes really fast. Look at where
<v Speaker 1>this man was and look at where he is now.
<v Speaker 1>Will he still get to where everybody thought he was going? Probably? Probably,
<v Speaker 1>But I'm a little less sure of it now that
<v Speaker 1>maybe I would have been six months ago. It is
<v Speaker 1>quite something to see that he will not even have
<v Speaker 1>a match on the show. You got two nights of
<v Speaker 1>SummerSlam this weekend. He ain't even going to get a
<v Speaker 1>match on one night. Amazing. But as I said before,
<v Speaker 1>they have three sets of tag team titles, none of
<v Speaker 1>which are being defended at SummerSlam, which, again, and we've
<v Speaker 1>talked about what Triple H thinks of tag team wrestling
<v Speaker 1>in WWE. He doesn't give a shit about tag team wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't give a shit about tag team wrestling. You
<v Speaker 1>don't need to ask him, you don't need to know
<v Speaker 1>him personally. All you need to do is watch the shows.
<v Speaker 1>He's the ringleader, he's the puppeteer, he's the head of content,
<v Speaker 1>he's the head of creative. If he gave a shit,
<v Speaker 1>tag team wrestling would not be in the state that
<v Speaker 1>it is currently in in WWE, which is pretty much
<v Speaker 1>as bad as it has ever been. That's said, why
<v Speaker 1>we still need separated tag team titles, I'll never know.
<v Speaker 1>Now we go backstage, Jackie Redman was interviewing La Knight,
<v Speaker 1>who said that others have been calling him paranoid, which
<v Speaker 1>doesn't make any sense because every prediction that he has
<v Speaker 1>made has come true. He said his team is going
<v Speaker 1>to win their match at Summerslim Now I said, they
<v Speaker 1>were in Los Angeles, so of course got to show
<v Speaker 1>celebrity row when you're in LA. So they showed Gabriel
<v Speaker 1>Iglesias Fluffy he was there, and someone else who was
<v Speaker 1>there was Now. He may not be a mainstream celebrity,
<v Speaker 1>but he's a wrestling celebrity to me. And that is
<v Speaker 1>the mouth of the South. One of the greatest managers
<v Speaker 1>of all time, Jimmy Hart. I think the last time
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy Hart came out at the end to It Dome,
<v Speaker 1>he heard a lot of booze. Thankfully, the boo birds
<v Speaker 1>were not out for Jimmy Hart because he was there
<v Speaker 1>by himself tonight. So that was good to see. Love Jimmy.
<v Speaker 1>Love Jimmy the Ageless Wonder Jimmy Hart. And also, you
<v Speaker 1>know a lot of people give love to Jim Johnston
<v Speaker 1>for all the music that he produced during his time
<v Speaker 1>with WWE. Not enough people give love to Jimmy Hart.
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy Hart and JJ maguire. They were also very instrumental
<v Speaker 1>in some of those iconic themes, including Sean Michael's theme.
<v Speaker 1>It's so many different themes. People are like, oh, that
<v Speaker 1>Jim Johnston, and it's like, oh, Jim Johnson actually didn't
<v Speaker 1>do that theme. So I think that Jimmy Hart, as
<v Speaker 1>great of a manager as he was, deserves a lot
<v Speaker 1>of credit and doesn't get it for the music in
<v Speaker 1>WWF and WCW that he helped produce, which is another
<v Speaker 1>problem with modern day WWE. So much of the music
<v Speaker 1>fucking sucks. We see a page here after this regarding
<v Speaker 1>Chad Gable and his journey to where he now finds himself.
<v Speaker 1>He is now on the cusp of becoming for the
<v Speaker 1>first time intercontinental champion, and they took us all the
<v Speaker 1>way back to a few years ago when he was
<v Speaker 1>feuding with Gunther and he made that promise, I swear
<v Speaker 1>to God, he said, I'm gonna be intercontinental champion. And
<v Speaker 1>then he proceeded to get his ass kicked and he
<v Speaker 1>was beaten, and they showed his little girl in the
<v Speaker 1>front row. I mean she was in tear, Oh, heading
<v Speaker 1>her hands. That little girl was devastated sitting there in
<v Speaker 1>the front row. She looked like me watching Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>Raw tonight. But then all the Elgrande americanos stuff and finally,
<v Speaker 1>now this is Chad Gable is on the cusp of
<v Speaker 1>doing the one thing that he has never been able
<v Speaker 1>to do, and he can do it in his hometown
<v Speaker 1>of Minneapolis. They have one job this weekend, belt him
<v Speaker 1>up new Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable. We had a video
<v Speaker 1>promo from Eo Ski in both English and Japanese talking
<v Speaker 1>about how she's going to beat Live Morgan at SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>After this, we had Javon Evans against Russev. Rucev dumped
<v Speaker 1>Evans to the floor with a fallaway slam and so
<v Speaker 1>Evans sent Rusev into the ring post and Evans now
<v Speaker 1>was circling the ringside area coming around here. He's going
<v Speaker 1>to do some big dive onto Russev. Rusev caught him
<v Speaker 1>though and dumped him into the timekeepers area. So Evans
<v Speaker 1>came back, though he dove over the barricade onto Russev.
<v Speaker 1>That took us into a commercial break. After the break,
<v Speaker 1>Russev was in control. Evans made a comeback and he
<v Speaker 1>hit Russev with the red dot right that flip into
<v Speaker 1>the kick that he does. Russev took a powder out
<v Speaker 1>to the floor and the referee followed him outside up
<v Speaker 1>the camera off of Rusev and it was on Javan
<v Speaker 1>and usually that's a sign that somebody is hurt and
<v Speaker 1>they're trying to figure out how serious it is. And
<v Speaker 1>they were talking. Even Corey Graves on commentary was talking
<v Speaker 1>about how it might have been his eye. Maybe he
<v Speaker 1>got kicked in the eye. I thought they might stop
<v Speaker 1>the match, I mean the way they were talking. But
<v Speaker 1>then the referee got back into the ring and seemingly
<v Speaker 1>Russev was okay. He must have been, because he took
<v Speaker 1>another dive. Once Jevon knew that he was okay, he's
<v Speaker 1>like time to dive and he hit the ropes and
<v Speaker 1>he did a dive out to the floor onto Russev
<v Speaker 1>and so back inside. Russev caught him with a Machka
<v Speaker 1>kick and then he went for the accolade. Evans fought
<v Speaker 1>out of the attempt. He went for the og cutter,
<v Speaker 1>but as he came down, Russev caught him, held onto
<v Speaker 1>him and then locked him in the accolade. Evans fought
<v Speaker 1>to the ropes, he got the brake. Rusev went for
<v Speaker 1>another kick. Evans, though, was able to avoid it, and
<v Speaker 1>he ended up winning with the og cutter to put
<v Speaker 1>away Russev. I thought this was good stuff here from
<v Speaker 1>these two. Now I enjoyed. This crowd was solidly behind
<v Speaker 1>javan especially when he was in the accolade trying to
<v Speaker 1>fight out of it and make that comeback right. They
<v Speaker 1>were with him every step of the way. But again,
<v Speaker 1>neither of these guys are on the Summer Slam car
<v Speaker 1>this weekend. So for a show that really was designed
<v Speaker 1>to sell you on the matches on Saturday and Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>this just sort of existed in its own little world,
<v Speaker 1>and it existed to just give Javon something to do,
<v Speaker 1>give him a win, help get him over right. Every
<v Speaker 1>single week, every single win right, he gets over a
<v Speaker 1>little bit more and a little bit more. But he's
<v Speaker 1>got nothing to do this weekend, so it doesn't really,
<v Speaker 1>you know, tie into anything that they were trying to
<v Speaker 1>promote for this weekend. And then after this it was time.
<v Speaker 1>It was time for the concert. Everybody. We were promised
<v Speaker 1>the concert with Joe Hendry and Dan Housen, which means
<v Speaker 1>it was another week where Joe Henry is already in
<v Speaker 1>the ring and he does not get an entrance here
<v Speaker 1>on this show, and so with the lights that we
<v Speaker 1>heard the guitar strum, and I the first thing. It's
<v Speaker 1>weird how we sort of associate certain things or people
<v Speaker 1>with certain noises. I hear a certain song, and I
<v Speaker 1>can associate a year in my life, maybe when I
<v Speaker 1>was in school or something. Right, just by hearing the
<v Speaker 1>opening notes of a song, it takes you back to
<v Speaker 1>a particular place, right. It's amazing how music works. I
<v Speaker 1>heard this little guitar strum, and I thought I was
<v Speaker 1>waiting for, like, hello, my name is Elias or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>Hello I am Alias, I guess is what he used
<v Speaker 1>to say, right, Like, I'm conditioned to think it's going
<v Speaker 1>to be him. I kind of wish it was. They
<v Speaker 1>had me wishing for the Drifter here in this segment.
<v Speaker 1>It was not the Drifter though. It was Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 1>and he was in the ring with his guitar. Dan
<v Speaker 1>Hausen was playing with his organ and they performed a
<v Speaker 1>remix of Henry's theme song with the lyrics I believe,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not gonna fucking sing it, but they were singing
<v Speaker 1>I believe that you are cursed. So they're sort of
<v Speaker 1>fusing the two of them together. This whole fucking show
<v Speaker 1>is cursed. So then this is going on and on
<v Speaker 1>and on. I'm waiting for the punchline here, or I'm
<v Speaker 1>waiting for the judgment day music, or somebody's gonna come
<v Speaker 1>out and put an end to this. All that would
<v Speaker 1>have done to me anyway is turned the babyface. This
<v Speaker 1>is going on and on, and then all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>the mini houses, I guess, out from under the ring,
<v Speaker 1>you know, little people's court under there. I guess court
<v Speaker 1>was in recess, and so the mini housens they crawl
<v Speaker 1>into the ring and they're doing like a dance routine
<v Speaker 1>as they continue to sing the same lyrics over and
<v Speaker 1>over and over again to this awful, shitty song. And
<v Speaker 1>it's not like the crowd was like going bonkers for
<v Speaker 1>this or anything like that. You can hear like pockets
<v Speaker 1>of people who were kind of singing along, and that's
<v Speaker 1>that's about it. I'm sure there were plenty of people
<v Speaker 1>in the Into It Dome who were also like, what
<v Speaker 1>the fuck am I watching here? What is this? What
<v Speaker 1>is this? So this is going on and on and on,
<v Speaker 1>and then all of a sudden we cut to the
<v Speaker 1>aisleway and they have like two rows of dancers female dancers,
<v Speaker 1>and they're all wearing these white masks and off camera,
<v Speaker 1>obviously somebody gave them their cue, like go, and so
<v Speaker 1>they danced down to the ring. They don't get in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, but they're outside the ring and they take
<v Speaker 1>the masks off and now they're doing a whole like
<v Speaker 1>dance routine out there, and it just keeps going, and
<v Speaker 1>it just keeps going, and it just keeps going. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>this is like a fever dream. And I realized, like
<v Speaker 1>in the moment as the segment was going on, that
<v Speaker 1>this is easily one of the worst television segments on
<v Speaker 1>any wrestling all year long. Like, if you were to
<v Speaker 1>create a special award for worst TV segment of the
<v Speaker 1>year when we get to the end of twenty twenty six,
<v Speaker 1>if this isn't in the top three, then boy, or
<v Speaker 1>we having a shitty year. Okay, this is just awful.
<v Speaker 1>And then finally we see Ryan Garcia hops the barricade.
<v Speaker 1>Now many of you were probably going who. The only
<v Speaker 1>reason I knew who it was is because he was
<v Speaker 1>one of the celebrities that they mentioned earlier when they
<v Speaker 1>showed like Gabriel Iglesias and all that they showed him
<v Speaker 1>gotta be Zufa. It's gotta be Zufa. Every week about
<v Speaker 1>the Zufa boxing. I don't give a fuck about Zufa boxing, right,
<v Speaker 1>but this is the TKO effect. Anything under the TKO umbrella,
<v Speaker 1>it becomes the most important thing in the world. And
<v Speaker 1>so every week we have Michael Cole talking about Zufa boxing,
<v Speaker 1>and we have Joe Tessitor talking about Zufa boxing and
<v Speaker 1>going crazy for it and talking about what an amazing
<v Speaker 1>card this is gonna be. This big fight's coming up
<v Speaker 1>this weekend. I don't give a fuck. Who cares. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>Ryan Garcia hops the barricade. He starts dancing. He's like
<v Speaker 1>in a conga line with the women outside who were
<v Speaker 1>doing the dance. Okay during this segment, So he gets
<v Speaker 1>in the ring and he grabs a guitar and he
<v Speaker 1>pretends that he's playing with it, and he acknowledges Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendry acknowledges him. Joe Henry turns his back and
<v Speaker 1>Garcia smashes the guitar across his back. He has gone
<v Speaker 1>heel on Joe Hendry, and the crowd goes mild. But
<v Speaker 1>now the judgment day are here. I guess they were
<v Speaker 1>all in cahoots. He has joined the judgment Day Dominic
<v Speaker 1>Mysterio and JD McDonough. They're in the ring. They attack
<v Speaker 1>Dan House and they attack the Mini Housen's dom hits
<v Speaker 1>a frog splash on Dan Housen and that was the
<v Speaker 1>end of the segment. This was garbage, this entire segment,
<v Speaker 1>this entire sec There was a segment on a raw
<v Speaker 1>back in twenty eighteen, and I wish I could remember
<v Speaker 1>what it was. I know that the New Day were
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, and I vividly remember Kofi Kingston holding
<v Speaker 1>up a sign that had a garbage can on it.
<v Speaker 1>I think I may have even put that in my thumbnail.
<v Speaker 1>It was like worst raw. Ever, that was a whole
<v Speaker 1>other rant twenty eighteen Raw rapidly approaching that. But this
<v Speaker 1>segment here should be put in a garbage can. You
<v Speaker 1>should be taken to the landfill. You should be emptied
<v Speaker 1>out into the landfill. They should pour gasoline on it,
<v Speaker 1>set it on fire, let it burn for a while.
<v Speaker 1>Eventually it'll burn itself out right. It may take a
<v Speaker 1>few hours, it may take the majority of the day.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how big the blaze is of ventually,
<v Speaker 1>the blaze will subside, the flames will go out, and
<v Speaker 1>then at that point they should drop an atomic bomb
<v Speaker 1>on it. Like, this segment was awful, absolutely awful, one
<v Speaker 1>of those segments that as it's going on, I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>somebody actually sat in a room and they said, you
<v Speaker 1>know what would be a really good idea for this show.
<v Speaker 1>You know what would be super entertaining here. You know
<v Speaker 1>what would be sports entertaining on this show. Let's have
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen and Joe Hendry do a concert. And this
<v Speaker 1>is what they came up with. How is it that
<v Speaker 1>when he was in TNA, Joe Hendry and this is
<v Speaker 1>what helped get him over in TNA, he would have
<v Speaker 1>these ill concerts or he would be feuding with somebody, right.
<v Speaker 1>I think one of those people was probably Aj Francis.
<v Speaker 1>I remember them feuding in TNA, and like he would
<v Speaker 1>write songs about these people and they were genuinely funny.
<v Speaker 1>There might have been might even been a music video
<v Speaker 1>in there somewhere, And I got the impression that, like
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendrew is probably very hands on with it and
<v Speaker 1>probably had some level of creative freedom above and beyond
<v Speaker 1>what he may have in WWE. But this is the
<v Speaker 1>WWE version and it's not nearly as fun. How did
<v Speaker 1>we go from that to this? You mean that he
<v Speaker 1>can't do here what he was doing there? Why? Why?
<v Speaker 1>Because we have a room full of writers who know better,
<v Speaker 1>who think that, well, no, we we can do this.
<v Speaker 1>This is what we do. It's what we do. It's
<v Speaker 1>a triple h always says, what we do, it's what
<v Speaker 1>we do. Really, Hm, you might want to stop doing it.
<v Speaker 1>Then Dan Housen is going to be just fine. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen's going to be over no matter what. Right,
<v Speaker 1>the kids love him, They've got them all over the place.
<v Speaker 1>He's an ice cream trucks, he's a comic con, he's everywhere. Right.
<v Speaker 1>He had a fucking parade float in New York City
<v Speaker 1>a few weeks ago. The problem with Dan Housen, though,
<v Speaker 1>is you keep doing this stuff where he's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>all over the shows, doing all these different things, and
<v Speaker 1>you will get to a point where you're gonna start
<v Speaker 1>burning out more and more peace And there are already
<v Speaker 1>people who like are sick and tired of seeing him
<v Speaker 1>all over these shows. You're gonna burn him out. You're
<v Speaker 1>gonna burn him out there is such a thing as
<v Speaker 1>too much of a good thing, and they are rapidly
<v Speaker 1>approaching that territory with him, with a lot of people.
<v Speaker 1>They'll still make plenty of money on him, and so
<v Speaker 1>because of that, they'll continue to feature him in a
<v Speaker 1>prominent way. But you're gonna burn a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>out on this stuff when you just constantly, you know,
<v Speaker 1>constantly with the Dan Housen stuff. It's not a gimmick
<v Speaker 1>that lends itself to being on six different segments in
<v Speaker 1>one show. Let's say, I'm not saying that happen tonight,
<v Speaker 1>but it did happen last week. It's not a character
<v Speaker 1>that lends itself to being in that many segments on
<v Speaker 1>the show, Like you got to dial it back. I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>I like the guy, but you got to dial the
<v Speaker 1>shit back. It's an indictment on Joe Hendry though in
<v Speaker 1>his position on the roster. It's sad because I know
<v Speaker 1>he worked, you know, he worked hard to get that
<v Speaker 1>contract and get to where he is, and it's a
<v Speaker 1>great story of how he got himself over and he
<v Speaker 1>got himself on the music charts, you know, over in
<v Speaker 1>the UK and all that stuff, and we see now
<v Speaker 1>what his ceiling is in WWA. I never expected him
<v Speaker 1>to go to the main roster and be a world
<v Speaker 1>champion or anything like that. But again, there's no reason
<v Speaker 1>why you can't feature him in a way that's very
<v Speaker 1>similar to how he was being used in TNA, not
<v Speaker 1>when he was TNA World Champion. I'm not saying that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying like he was doing stuff that was
<v Speaker 1>actually fun and humorous. Why can't he do that here?
<v Speaker 1>Why is he not allowed to get an entrance on
<v Speaker 1>the show. Why has so much of his stuff happened
<v Speaker 1>during commercial breaks? Why is what he's doing now so
<v Speaker 1>fucking boring? Why? I know what he can do. It
<v Speaker 1>was very amusing when I saw him doing it before,
<v Speaker 1>But then he comes here and he's doing it here
<v Speaker 1>on these shows, and it's fucking boring and I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to see it. It's also an indictment on Triple
<v Speaker 1>H for thinking that this horrendous segment was good in
<v Speaker 1>the first place. He doesn't get a pass on this.
<v Speaker 1>He's responsible for this. Everything you see on that show,
<v Speaker 1>he's responsible for. Never forget that. We used to say
<v Speaker 1>that all the time about Vince Man, who wrote this segment,
<v Speaker 1>who gives a shit. It's all Vince McMahon. If you
<v Speaker 1>get a great segment, you can give him credit for it.
<v Speaker 1>If you get a terrible segment, you could probably assume
<v Speaker 1>he had a lot to do with it. But when
<v Speaker 1>you're the guy in charge, the buck stops with you.
<v Speaker 1>It's no different with Triple H. Penta had have been
<v Speaker 1>yet for him, and he talked about how he's happy
<v Speaker 1>that Chad Gable has found his way. But redemption, he says,
<v Speaker 1>doesn't come from taking his Intercontinental Championship, which is true,
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't. It actually comes from the my aw at
<v Speaker 1>for about twenty bucks. So at SummerSlam, he's not fighting
<v Speaker 1>for revenge, He's fighting for his legacy. For those of
<v Speaker 1>you who didn't see the match order for this weekend,
<v Speaker 1>that match is taking place on Summer Slam Sunday. It
<v Speaker 1>might even open the show. I know it's going to
<v Speaker 1>be happening in the opening hour, which I assume is
<v Speaker 1>airing on ESPN. Have they said that for sure? I
<v Speaker 1>assume the first hour is going to be on ESPN.
<v Speaker 1>That's what they've been doing with all these pls. So
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam Sunday is when we're going to see Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gable win the Intercontinental Championship, So then it was h yay,
<v Speaker 1>more celebrities, gotta show more celebrities. At least this time
<v Speaker 1>we actually had some real celebrities here. They had Mario Lopez,
<v Speaker 1>Ac Slater was there with his family, and they showed
<v Speaker 1>Ashton Kutcher in the crowd as well. We got one
<v Speaker 1>final vignette. We've been getting him for a few weeks now.
<v Speaker 1>This was the last one before he comes back next week,
<v Speaker 1>hyping the return of Big Casts former Big Bill. He's
<v Speaker 1>on his way back. This time we got a clear
<v Speaker 1>shot of his face here. He was standing right there
<v Speaker 1>with this real menacing look on his face here in
<v Speaker 1>the vignette. I like the fact that it looks like
<v Speaker 1>they're bringing him back as a single. I think that's
<v Speaker 1>the right move. I think that's the way to go.
<v Speaker 1>I am a little surprised if Enzo is going to
<v Speaker 1>be coming back, and maybe he's not. Maybe he's not,
<v Speaker 1>but if he is, it would be surprising to not
<v Speaker 1>link them up in some way. But I'm okay with that.
<v Speaker 1>I think if you want to give Bill a shot
<v Speaker 1>of getting over as something more than what you know
<v Speaker 1>he was previously the way to do it. You know
<v Speaker 1>him on his own, not as part of a tag team.
<v Speaker 1>Being in a tag team in this company is a
<v Speaker 1>dead end. So we'll see you next week. I guess
<v Speaker 1>if his little friend pops up with him, maybe he'll
<v Speaker 1>be his mouthpiece. But Big Bill on his way back.
<v Speaker 1>We had Raymysterio nothing big about him, rayma Sterio against
<v Speaker 1>Ethan Page. Late in the match, Ray hit a Tornado DDT.
<v Speaker 1>They ended up on top, with Page getting knocked down
<v Speaker 1>to the floor. Ray then jumped off the top rope
<v Speaker 1>and caught him with a rana on the way down
<v Speaker 1>that sent them momentum sent Ethan hurtling forward into the
<v Speaker 1>announced desk. So then back in the ring, Ray went
<v Speaker 1>for a six point nine and Ethan used the ring
<v Speaker 1>skirt to block it and catch him. So then he
<v Speaker 1>hit the ego plex and he got the three count.
<v Speaker 1>And so this was very similar to the russev match
<v Speaker 1>with Javon Evans in that we had a solid match here,
<v Speaker 1>the right person going over and a good win here
<v Speaker 1>for Ethan Page. But this was the final raw before SummerSlam,
<v Speaker 1>and so neither one of these men are on the
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam card, so it was a nice win for Ethan,
<v Speaker 1>but it just doesn't tie into anything that's happening this weekend,
<v Speaker 1>which is what this entire show really should have been about.
<v Speaker 1>That final bit of hype here for Summer Slam, which
<v Speaker 1>they did. I mean, they were running vignettes up and
<v Speaker 1>down the show, and they opened and closed with segments
<v Speaker 1>that tied into two of the bigger matches in Minneapolis.
<v Speaker 1>But you know, Ethan, I think I said when he
<v Speaker 1>popped up on RAW, I said, inside is six months,
<v Speaker 1>six months. This man is going to be the Intercontinental champion.
<v Speaker 1>So now it's been what two months that he's been
<v Speaker 1>on TV, maybe three, let's say two, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if Gable wins the championship this weekend, I
<v Speaker 1>could see Ethan being the one who eventually beat him
<v Speaker 1>for it. I would hope it's not going to be
<v Speaker 1>quite that soon, like in the next four months. I
<v Speaker 1>would hope that they would give Gable sometime with that belt.
<v Speaker 1>But I still feel that way, eventually, you know, he'll
<v Speaker 1>hold that title. Maybe it won't be within the next
<v Speaker 1>three or four months, but I would think that far
<v Speaker 1>as candidates for Gable to drop the belt to, why
<v Speaker 1>not Ethan Page. I'm already booking the end of the
<v Speaker 1>gable title. I promise you I'm not. I'm just thinking
<v Speaker 1>ahead as to like, what would be a good time
<v Speaker 1>to potentially crown ethan Page. That's all I'm saying. I'm looking.
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking to the future. Right. This man is gonna
<v Speaker 1>win the championship this weekend, and then what let's start
<v Speaker 1>thinking about who would be a good person to eventually
<v Speaker 1>be in that spot. We had the women's World Champion,
<v Speaker 1>Live Morgan. She was featured as EO was earlier in
<v Speaker 1>her own prete vignette. She said that she's the girl
<v Speaker 1>that everybody underestimated and overlooked on her weights at the top.
<v Speaker 1>She said that she may consider some may consider her
<v Speaker 1>an arrogant champion, but when you have her resume, you
<v Speaker 1>don't care what people think. She said that she knows
<v Speaker 1>how good EO is, but she's going to remind everybody
<v Speaker 1>that she is the greatest of all time. I will
<v Speaker 1>point out to you that we just passed one hundred
<v Speaker 1>days without a single title defense for Live Morgan since
<v Speaker 1>she won the championship at WrestleMania Great. I didn't even
<v Speaker 1>mention that in my little rant earlier about how awful
<v Speaker 1>Triple H has booked the women's divisions on these shows.
<v Speaker 1>Even if Eo Sky walks away from SummerSlam this weekend
<v Speaker 1>with the Women's World Championship, and I hope she does,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm picking her to win, I have no reason
<v Speaker 1>to believe that her run, her reign is going to
<v Speaker 1>be any different than the rain that Live has had.
<v Speaker 1>She may go three or four months without defending the title.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, let's be honest here. When she left WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>last year still the champion, she had that great match
<v Speaker 1>with Bianca and Rhea. I couldn't tell you a fucking
<v Speaker 1>thing that Eo did with that belt in the first
<v Speaker 1>two and a half months coming out of WrestleMania. I
<v Speaker 1>couldn't tell you a single thing that she did with
<v Speaker 1>that championship until she had that great main event with
<v Speaker 1>Rhea at the Evolution show that was in July. So
<v Speaker 1>what makes any of us think that it's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>any different. Even if they put the belt on somebody else,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be just as awful. In the back, we
<v Speaker 1>go to Dan Housen's lab, all the Mini Housens, They're
<v Speaker 1>all just laying there they're all beaten up. They're being
<v Speaker 1>tended to by the doctors. They didn't have any mini doctors,
<v Speaker 1>they were regular doctors. And so Dan Housen is also
<v Speaker 1>he's just sort of sitting there like, oh, you know,
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pierce walks in, and Pierce implores him just pay
<v Speaker 1>them the money. What like they're fucking like ransom or something.
<v Speaker 1>Just pay him the money, right, pay the judgment day
<v Speaker 1>the money you wiwed him. He goes never. But then
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen had an idea, why don't we hang the
<v Speaker 1>human monies on a pole at SummerSlam? And Adam Pierce
<v Speaker 1>he liked that idea, so he made it official and
<v Speaker 1>then he said he needed a drink. One drink is
<v Speaker 1>not enough though for this show. You got to keep
<v Speaker 1>it coming. Open up a fucking bar tab for me
<v Speaker 1>and just keep it flowing. One drink ain't gonna be enough.
<v Speaker 1>I'll sit there with Adam Pierce. We'll just drink our
<v Speaker 1>sorrows away all night. Just what we needed. Now on
<v Speaker 1>the Summer Slam card. Now we have a poll match, bro,
<v Speaker 1>a poll match. We're gonna have the human moneys on
<v Speaker 1>the pole. Great Jimmy and Jay usso they made their
<v Speaker 1>way down to the ring through the crowd. Dom's another one.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, My god, these new names keep popping
<v Speaker 1>up in my head. You know, I talked about where
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker was and where Jacob fought to was, and
<v Speaker 1>liter where dom is. Like over the last year, Dominic
<v Speaker 1>Mysterio has just basically been stuck in purgatory. It feels like,
<v Speaker 1>what have they really done with him? I know he's
<v Speaker 1>got the triple A megatitle, but like, what have they
<v Speaker 1>really done with him? Over the last year he was
<v Speaker 1>progressing very nicely, they were doing a lot with him,
<v Speaker 1>and like the last year, it's just like treading water.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you see, there's so many different examples of this.
<v Speaker 1>It's so frustrating. The usos come out through the crowd,
<v Speaker 1>they go to commercial. When they come back, they're in
<v Speaker 1>the ring. Crowd wants Jade to run it back, so
<v Speaker 1>they play the music again. They briefly run it back,
<v Speaker 1>so they run down their opponents at Summer Slim give
<v Speaker 1>him a warning shot. But then Solo Socoa appears in
<v Speaker 1>the crowd, and maybe the biggest surprise here is that
<v Speaker 1>he was not wearing red. He actually had a difference.
<v Speaker 1>He was wearing white. Yeah, Thomas says, he does not
<v Speaker 1>even defend the Triple A Mega title. Yeah, well that's WWE.
<v Speaker 1>You don't have to defend your championship in this company.
<v Speaker 1>And if you're hurt and your name is Rhea Ripley
<v Speaker 1>and Triple Ah is infatuated with you, then you can
<v Speaker 1>get away with not even having to be stripped of
<v Speaker 1>your belt. Seth Rollins got hurt last year, he got stripped.
<v Speaker 1>I suspect they don't expect her to be out as
<v Speaker 1>long as he was. But still, everyone else gets stripped,
<v Speaker 1>the title gets vacated, Rhea gets to hold onto it,
<v Speaker 1>so we'll have an interim champion. Yeah, I'm not surprised
<v Speaker 1>that Dom doesn't defend the belt. I guess in the
<v Speaker 1>eyes of WWE, it makes you a bigger star. Where
<v Speaker 1>this this really started with This started with Brock Lesner.
<v Speaker 1>Because Brock was part time, he was the Universal Champion.
<v Speaker 1>He was never fucking around. That's why for a period
<v Speaker 1>of time there, Seth Rollins was the Intercontinental Champion and
<v Speaker 1>that title had to be elevated on Mondays to like
<v Speaker 1>the top title on the brand because they didn't have
<v Speaker 1>a fucking world title. Because Brock was never around. Oh
<v Speaker 1>but Brock is the champion, and so the title therefore
<v Speaker 1>is gonna It's very prestigious now because it's being held
<v Speaker 1>by somebody who's never fucking around to defend it. That's
<v Speaker 1>really where it started. And then with Roman, it was
<v Speaker 1>a similar thing. With Roman. Roman was around more than Brock,
<v Speaker 1>kind of a little bit, but like he would take
<v Speaker 1>off and disappear, and he had the championship for like
<v Speaker 1>thirteen hundred days. That's where this shit started. They think
<v Speaker 1>it like elevates the title. Let me break So Solo
<v Speaker 1>Soko is in the crowd and he says he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>see the real bl bloodline, so whatever this crap is,
<v Speaker 1>they don't have a chance at summer. Slim Jimmy reminds
<v Speaker 1>Solo that the bloodline was the best thing that ever
<v Speaker 1>happened to him and he should run the plays or
<v Speaker 1>else or else what he said, You're gonna yeat for
<v Speaker 1>thirty minutes, and he was doing his own mocking of
<v Speaker 1>the yeats, said that he doesn't want to come back.
<v Speaker 1>He loves where he's at, and so does everybody in
<v Speaker 1>Los Angeles. And this is where he got a little
<v Speaker 1>bit of a pop and you could hear there were
<v Speaker 1>chance of Solo from the crowd. So he told the
<v Speaker 1>usos you could tell Roman to kiss my ass. La
<v Speaker 1>Knight that appeared on the stage and he told us
<v Speaker 1>how it's all going to come to an end at
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slim. So Solo starts to remove his jacket. La
<v Speaker 1>Knight takes off his jacket or vest and maybe we
<v Speaker 1>can end it right now, and so Night Solo, they
<v Speaker 1>get the advantage in the ring. They're going after the USOS.
<v Speaker 1>We hear Jacob Fatu's music and he makes his way
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring. He goes after the Uh. I
<v Speaker 1>guess babyfaces? I guess right. Solo technically is a babyface
<v Speaker 1>in this match. You know what, I shouldn't even say that.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know who. I don't know who's the look.
<v Speaker 1>La Night is obviously a babyface. Royce Keys is supposed
<v Speaker 1>to be a babyface. Solo Sokoa to me, he's a babyface,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm not quite sure what he's supposed to be.
<v Speaker 1>The usso's they feel like the heels right, but people
<v Speaker 1>still eat and they want him to run it back.
<v Speaker 1>This is the state of wrestling, by the way, This
<v Speaker 1>is what is so sad about the state of pro
<v Speaker 1>wrestling in twenty twenty six. I miss the days when.
<v Speaker 2>This is an old man yells the clouds, but tell
<v Speaker 2>me when I'm wrong. There was a point in time
<v Speaker 2>where you had heels on the shows who actually wanted
<v Speaker 2>to be heels. You had heels on the shows who
<v Speaker 2>want to get people to hate them so much they
<v Speaker 2>didn't even want them to buy their merch. They didn't
<v Speaker 2>even want to have merch. That was Jericho at one point,
<v Speaker 2>I think told wwe don't make new T shirts for me.
<v Speaker 2>My job here, my goal is to get people to
<v Speaker 2>hate me. This might have been when he had that
<v Speaker 2>great heel running oh eight and so, and it was
<v Speaker 2>very clear, like, okay, who the villains on the show were,
<v Speaker 2>and they wanted to be genuinely hated. And now it's
<v Speaker 2>just a bunch of people who it really does now
<v Speaker 2>more than ever, feel like they're just playing a part
<v Speaker 2>on a TV show, which they are.
<v Speaker 1>But it wasn't like thrown in your face, right, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking for like genuine heels, and I guess Guntherro
<v Speaker 1>was sort of the closest thing to that. And then
<v Speaker 1>they have just completely I mean, my god, he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>feel anywhere near a special now as he did at
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of the year, and now it's like there's
<v Speaker 1>so many shades of gray, and it's like, well, we'll
<v Speaker 1>just let the people decide, right, But are there any
<v Speaker 1>real genuine heels now? The only one that I could
<v Speaker 1>think of in wrestling would be MJF, who doesn't even
<v Speaker 1>work for this company. I mean, he clears the bar
<v Speaker 1>with everybody else. There's nobody in wrestling. There is nobody
<v Speaker 1>on a mainstream level in wrestling right now doing what
<v Speaker 1>MJF is doing in terms of truly being heel and
<v Speaker 1>wanting the fans to just hate them and hate everything
<v Speaker 1>that they do, no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Right there's really
<v Speaker 1>nobody else doing that right now in WWE. Who would
<v Speaker 1>be the closest example of that. Someone says Brock is
<v Speaker 1>a really Brock is a heel? Really? I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he gets a lot of cheers when he
<v Speaker 1>comes out, he's smiling, he's doing the bounce, you know,
<v Speaker 1>up and down. I don't know that Brock really strikes
<v Speaker 1>me anymore. Is just like a pure heel in the
<v Speaker 1>way that he used to be. I gotta disagree with
<v Speaker 1>you on that. WWE doesn't allow any real heels anymore.
<v Speaker 1>Oh you may be right, You may be right about that.
<v Speaker 1>Someone said Drew, I can't even look at Drew McIntyre
<v Speaker 1>as a heel because everything Drew McIntyre was saying before
<v Speaker 1>he left was one hundred percent true. Same thing with
<v Speaker 1>Sammy's ain right now, supposed to be a heel, right,
<v Speaker 1>he's the last real good guy though. You know why,
<v Speaker 1>because everything he says is true. He's constantly being screwed.
<v Speaker 1>I can't look at a Drew McIntyre or Kevin Owens
<v Speaker 1>is a real heel, not when they're making so much sense.
<v Speaker 1>So whatever these guys are supposed to be, they pledged
<v Speaker 1>their allegiance to Roman reigns, right, they're waving, everyone's waving.
<v Speaker 1>They're putting their fingers up in the air every single
<v Speaker 1>week when Roman comes out, even though he's a complete asshole.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know anymore. It's all about just catchphrases and
<v Speaker 1>hand gestures, and that's all people want to do. And
<v Speaker 1>they want to yeat, and they want to put their
<v Speaker 1>fingers in the air or up their nose or up
<v Speaker 1>their ass. I don't know. I don't know anymore. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, man, Jacob. He got the Tonguan death grip
<v Speaker 1>applied on Royce Keys when Keys came out to try
<v Speaker 1>to join in the Freaks here. Solo, though, hit the
<v Speaker 1>Samoan spike to break that up. Keys then dropped Fat
<v Speaker 1>Tou with a spinebuster, and then Night hit his BFT
<v Speaker 1>on Jacob, who fled out to the floor. So again,
<v Speaker 1>I am enjoying this new side of Solo Socoa that
<v Speaker 1>because of the role he was in before, we never
<v Speaker 1>really had a chance to see. He's got a funny personality. Man.
<v Speaker 1>I want there to be more fun on these show
<v Speaker 1>and I'm not talking like fucking Dan Housen in concert fun.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying, like, let some of these people just
<v Speaker 1>be themselves. In a lot of cases like that can
<v Speaker 1>make all the difference in the world. Just let them
<v Speaker 1>go out there and be themselves. Solo should not be
<v Speaker 1>a heal right now, he's a natural babyface. Let him
<v Speaker 1>do that. He did the heel thing for so long.
<v Speaker 1>Let him do that. We had soul Ruca. I will
<v Speaker 1>say one thing, by the way, we have the six
<v Speaker 1>man tag match this weekend, I believe on Saturday the
<v Speaker 1>six woman tag is also on Saturday or whenever the
<v Speaker 1>men's is. I'm surprised about that. I don't know why
<v Speaker 1>they wouldn't want to break that up and have one
<v Speaker 1>on one night one on the other. So it's a
<v Speaker 1>little weird to me that they're doing the two six
<v Speaker 1>person matches on the same show. We had Soul Ruca
<v Speaker 1>against Raquel Rodriguez for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. Soul came
<v Speaker 1>off the top rope with a moon salt to the
<v Speaker 1>floor early in the match, and Raquel came up busted
<v Speaker 1>open very badly from the nose, and her nose look
<v Speaker 1>pretty messed up. I don't know if it was broken
<v Speaker 1>or not, but it looked pretty bad. So they also
<v Speaker 1>started doing something new here noticed it here during this match.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they did it earlier in the show as well,
<v Speaker 1>where instead of just cutting to commercial in the middle
<v Speaker 1>of a match, which they love doing, instead what they
<v Speaker 1>did was they said that this segment is sponsored by Djorno,
<v Speaker 1>and so the match ended up in a little box
<v Speaker 1>on the screen. Not like a tiny box it was,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I would say if normally it would be
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent, now it was at like sixty or
<v Speaker 1>seventy percent, and then on the left side of the
<v Speaker 1>screen they put a Dajorn logo and the match just
<v Speaker 1>kept going and you heard the commentary and everything. But
<v Speaker 1>it was another way for them to be able to
<v Speaker 1>advertise in the middle of the matches. So this is
<v Speaker 1>their new technique now, instead of just cutting to a
<v Speaker 1>brake and instead of having the giant ads on the
<v Speaker 1>mat and the ads on the turnbuckle pads and the
<v Speaker 1>ads on the you know, the led apron and barricades
<v Speaker 1>and everything. Now we'll just kind of shrink the match.
<v Speaker 1>And it's not like a picture and picture of break
<v Speaker 1>per se, but we'll shrink the match a little bit,
<v Speaker 1>and then we'll advertise something on the side of the screen,
<v Speaker 1>and then after twenty or thirty seconds we'll put it
<v Speaker 1>back to full screen. We'll see if they start doing
<v Speaker 1>more of that. It's not delivery, that's right, it's not delivery.
<v Speaker 1>It's de journal. I don't eat pizza anymore. You guys
<v Speaker 1>know that if you've listened to this show for any
<v Speaker 1>length of time. Unfortunately, a cheese is the enemy. But
<v Speaker 1>I will say I did try Djorno many years ago,
<v Speaker 1>and I thought it sucked. So it's not real pizza.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it's because I just got so used to eating
<v Speaker 1>New York pizza, which is the best pizza in the world,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, that anything else just tastes like garbage.
<v Speaker 1>Personal pan Pizza, Pizza Hut. Way back when I was younger,
<v Speaker 1>that was the shit that was good. Dominoes. I ever
<v Speaker 1>tried Dominoes. I ever tried Papa John's. I never tried.
<v Speaker 1>But the one time I had De Giorno, Yeah, not good.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, Roxanne Perez ran out to run distraction. Jessica
<v Speaker 1>Carr was busy with her Live. Morgan then meanwhile tripped
<v Speaker 1>up Soul on the other side of the ring. Here
<v Speaker 1>comes Eo Sky. Eo comes down to the ring. Morgan
<v Speaker 1>though jumped her at like as Eo got down to ringside,
<v Speaker 1>she didn't see Live and Lived just fucking wrecked her
<v Speaker 1>and took her down to the ground. So back in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, Ruka hit Rodriguez with a code breaker. Meanwhile
<v Speaker 1>on the apron Eo hit Live with a meteora up
<v Speaker 1>against the ring post. Domino's got fifty percent. That's going
<v Speaker 1>so fast the chat, I can't see everything. Domino's crust
<v Speaker 1>is really good, okay, I haven't tried it, so I can't.
<v Speaker 1>I can't vouch for for dominoes. I know obviously they're
<v Speaker 1>very popular. God Mary making me want to eat pizza now, Man,
<v Speaker 1>you're making me want to EPA. It's been fifteen years. Man,
<v Speaker 1>you're making me want to eat pizza now. Every time
<v Speaker 1>I walk past a pizza place, I feel so left out.
<v Speaker 1>So Soul went for the soul Snatcher and Raquel grabbed
<v Speaker 1>her foot to stop her from completing the move and
<v Speaker 1>sent her headfirst into the top part of the ring post.
<v Speaker 1>Referee did not see this. Raquel then came over. She
<v Speaker 1>grabbed Ruka right out of the corner in position for
<v Speaker 1>the tehanabamb and she dropped her and she pinned her.
<v Speaker 1>And we have a brand new Women's Intercontinental Champion. So
<v Speaker 1>this is the first title that Raquel has held a
<v Speaker 1>singles title anyway in WWA. So that's a first for
<v Speaker 1>her and I have no issue with her holding the championship.
<v Speaker 1>I think that for her to go in there on
<v Speaker 1>this show after having just had a shot and then
<v Speaker 1>lose again, off it's a direction. Fuck yeah, I mean
<v Speaker 1>that's probably what she told Triple A. She's like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that doesn't work for me. I need to win, so
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad she won. On the other hand, Soul Ruka
<v Speaker 1>had won the championship at the end of May. We're
<v Speaker 1>now almost at the end what we are at the
<v Speaker 1>end of July, and I'm like, Okay, she got to
<v Speaker 1>hold it for a couple of months, but she didn't
<v Speaker 1>really do anything with this. She had a couple of defenses,
<v Speaker 1>one against Raquel and one against Lyra, who they showed
<v Speaker 1>by the way, during the match, they showed Lyra watching
<v Speaker 1>this match backstage on a monitor. This is after she
<v Speaker 1>confronted Seoul during a promo off the air during the
<v Speaker 1>commercial break last week, teasing that I'm going to get
<v Speaker 1>that belt back, right she had the belt once before,
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to get the belt back, and so it
<v Speaker 1>seemed like they were setting up Babyface against heel Lyra
<v Speaker 1>chasing after Soul and now Soeul has lost a championship
<v Speaker 1>to Raquel. Now my only hope is that Raquel is
<v Speaker 1>not going to hold this thing hostage in the judgment
<v Speaker 1>day and not do anything with it. Soeul would probably yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I would imagine get her rematch soon where Lyra fits
<v Speaker 1>into this. Now I have no idea Lyra challenging Raquel.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't know if I see that, So
<v Speaker 1>I'm not quite sure where they're going to go from here.
<v Speaker 1>I know none of these women are on the Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slim card this weekend, so we're gonna have to wait
<v Speaker 1>until after SummerSlam to find out. Can I also just say,
<v Speaker 1>you know, on the subject of Lyra Valkyria, you know,
<v Speaker 1>the follow up to her win over Bailey and Madison
<v Speaker 1>Square Garden has been terrible. Again. She couldn't even get
<v Speaker 1>on the show last week, and then this week they
<v Speaker 1>show her on screen for about five seconds watching the
<v Speaker 1>match in the back. She's not on the Summer Slam cards,
<v Speaker 1>So that's the thing. I mean, right now, she's not
<v Speaker 1>going to be a priority for them. But I just
<v Speaker 1>think the follow up to that that should have been
<v Speaker 1>a much bigger deal, or made out to be a
<v Speaker 1>much bigger deal. And I just think that the follow
<v Speaker 1>up has been terrible. And it's important because she just
<v Speaker 1>turned heel not that long ago. This is her first
<v Speaker 1>heel run and so you want to give her all
<v Speaker 1>the support that she needs to try to get over
<v Speaker 1>as a heel. They're not giving her a whole lot
<v Speaker 1>of supports so far. I hope that changes starting next week.
<v Speaker 1>So ahead of a commercial break, Roman Reigns, the world
<v Speaker 1>heavyweight champion, made his way down to the rank Yess
<v Speaker 1>what follow up? That's a good question, what follow up?
<v Speaker 1>Lyra could be pissed at Soul for losing it start
<v Speaker 1>a feud with Soul and Lyra non title brother? You
<v Speaker 1>actually think that this company has the capacity or the
<v Speaker 1>attention span to devote to a non title women's feud.
<v Speaker 1>Have you been paying attention? How many great non title
<v Speaker 1>women's feuds can you think of? Right now? They were
<v Speaker 1>doing Charlotte and Jade. Now maybe you wouldn't consider that
<v Speaker 1>a great non title women's feud. That would be the
<v Speaker 1>big one. And they were supposed to wrestle at Summer
<v Speaker 1>Salem and now they're both going to be a part
<v Speaker 1>of the ladder match. This is not a company and
<v Speaker 1>the creative team that does very well when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to women who don't have a championship. It's all about
<v Speaker 1>the title. They don't really pay much attention to anything
<v Speaker 1>the women are doing. If they don't have a championship,
<v Speaker 1>they don't give a shit. So I'm not saying it's
<v Speaker 1>a bad idea. I think that would be a fine idea,
<v Speaker 1>but it's not in their DNA. Roman Reigns comes out
<v Speaker 1>to the ring. He's, you know, soak up the aura.
<v Speaker 1>Everyone right, He's just the king of Aura. He's standing there,
<v Speaker 1>he's taking his sweet time. He's looking around. Everyone's got
<v Speaker 1>their fingers up in the air. It's time to go
<v Speaker 1>farming everybody. And Roman comes to the ring. So finally
<v Speaker 1>he spoke. After the commercial, he spoke. He was about
<v Speaker 1>to ask Los Angeles to acknowledge him. Before he could
<v Speaker 1>do it, though, we heard burn It Down. Now. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if you were hearing that from Seth Rollins
<v Speaker 1>theme music or if you were hearing that from me
<v Speaker 1>all the way here in New York as I was
<v Speaker 1>referring to this television show. But we hear I love
<v Speaker 1>it when I popped myself. We hear burn it Down.
<v Speaker 1>Outcomes Seth Rawlins down to the ring. Rollins tells Los
<v Speaker 1>Angeles to acknowledge him. Roman says, well, LA knows the deal.
<v Speaker 1>You're an asshole. Rollins says, well, guilty, you're right, You're right.
<v Speaker 1>He goes, you know what, I'm the bad guy here.
<v Speaker 1>When it comes to me and you, I'm the bad guy,
<v Speaker 1>and that's fine with me. Some of us get everything
<v Speaker 1>handed to them. Some people start on third base, not me, though.
<v Speaker 1>Some people have to hustle to get theirs. He said.
<v Speaker 1>Roman is everything that he says he is. He's the
<v Speaker 1>biggest star in the industry. He's got an edge on
<v Speaker 1>Rollins in so many ways. But one the one thing
<v Speaker 1>that he does not have on seth Rawlins is that
<v Speaker 1>Rollins is a better professional wrestler than him. Professional wrestling
<v Speaker 1>is the one thing that Roman does not have over him.
<v Speaker 1>In this ring. He owns Roman's ass, and when it
<v Speaker 1>comes to what's going on inside Roman's thick skull, he
<v Speaker 1>owns his ass there too. Roman can call him an asshole,
<v Speaker 1>but he can't call him a liar. Every single time
<v Speaker 1>he owns Roman and Roman thinks SummerSlam is going to
<v Speaker 1>be different. Why what makes you think that Summer Slam
<v Speaker 1>is going to be any different? Have you changed? Now?
<v Speaker 1>He made a great point here. I make this point
<v Speaker 1>every week, he said to Roman, have you changed even
<v Speaker 1>one tiny bit? So what are you gonna do? You're
<v Speaker 1>gonna get yourself disqualified like you did in twenty two
<v Speaker 1>back at the royal rumble. Maybe you're gonna call in
<v Speaker 1>the bloodlines. Since you can't do anything on your own,
<v Speaker 1>he said, Roman doesn't stand a chance. So Roman said
<v Speaker 1>he's the only real superstar, He's the only true champion.
<v Speaker 1>And he meant what he said. He needs to beat Seth.
<v Speaker 1>He needs his family to see him do it, not
<v Speaker 1>just and this was the great line here, This was
<v Speaker 1>the great line of the promo that I'm still trying
<v Speaker 1>to dissect. Here he said, not just this company, the
<v Speaker 1>whole industry needs me to beat you. So all those
<v Speaker 1>independent wrestlers that are up in the Portland area and
<v Speaker 1>the Pacific Northwest, all of those independent wrestlers that are
<v Speaker 1>overseas in the UK right now, and all those wrestlers
<v Speaker 1>in MLW, and all those wrestlers in TA and Billy
<v Speaker 1>Corgan's NWA, and by god, all those wrestlers, including John
<v Speaker 1>Moxley in AW they need Roman to go in there
<v Speaker 1>and beat seth Rawlins. Now he didn't explain why. He
<v Speaker 1>didn't explain why why do they need him to beat
<v Speaker 1>seth Rawlins. I think they just say shit sometimes to
<v Speaker 1>make things sound more epic and bigger than they really are.
<v Speaker 1>I also having a case of Dejavus right now as
<v Speaker 1>I sit here talking about this, because I feel like
<v Speaker 1>there was something very similar that was said in one
<v Speaker 1>of these promos, maybe last year, and I'm trying to
<v Speaker 1>remember what it was, and I'm almost positive it involves
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins, and I just I can't remember. Maybe somebody
<v Speaker 1>in the channel remind me there was some similar kind
<v Speaker 1>of line where, oh, maybe it was you know what,
<v Speaker 1>maybe it was heading into the triple threat with Roman
<v Speaker 1>and Punkin Rollins. Was that it maybe at WrestleMania last year,
<v Speaker 1>where it was like the industry, like the fate of
<v Speaker 1>the industry is on the It was some ridiculous line
<v Speaker 1>like that always makes me laugh when I hear some
<v Speaker 1>stupid shit like that on this show. The Cody, Oh
<v Speaker 1>maybe that's what it was. Okay, the Cody in Rollins feud.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe that's what it was. Even then, I remember thinking,
<v Speaker 1>like what why? They never tell you why, But it's
<v Speaker 1>like the fate of wrestling is resting on this match
<v Speaker 1>here on the outcome of this match. Oh really? Wow? Okay,
<v Speaker 1>So Seth said that Roman needs this redemption so bad,
<v Speaker 1>don't you when he suckered him into this match a
<v Speaker 1>month ago. Roman said that he needed his family to
<v Speaker 1>be there to see it, and it took him back
<v Speaker 1>down memory lane all the way to wrestle Manny at
<v Speaker 1>thirty one, when he cashed in on his ass and
<v Speaker 1>he sent Roman's whole family home in tears. Cicco was
<v Speaker 1>not very happy, by the way. That's that's legit when
<v Speaker 1>Roman got cashed in on and did not win the
<v Speaker 1>championship or wrestle Mani at thirty one. Apparently Sicca thought
<v Speaker 1>his boy was winning the belt that night and plans changed,
<v Speaker 1>and he wasn't very happy about it. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if he was in tears though, but Seth says he
<v Speaker 1>hopes Roman's family is there on Sunday because he would
<v Speaker 1>love nothing more than to watch them cry again when
<v Speaker 1>they figure out that their daddy is a fraud, their
<v Speaker 1>daddy is a loser, and their daddy will always and
<v Speaker 1>forever be Seth Rolin's bitch. There's the B word. That's
<v Speaker 1>the trigger point. And so Roman punched him in the face,
<v Speaker 1>and Roman starts to put a beating on him Superman
<v Speaker 1>punch spear. Roman goes outside, he grabs a chair. He's
<v Speaker 1>staring at the chair. This is the same chair that
<v Speaker 1>he can remember Rollin's putting in his back all those
<v Speaker 1>years ago when he broke up the shield. He slides
<v Speaker 1>into the ring with the chair, but in doing so,
<v Speaker 1>Rolin's his way to for him and Rollins stomps him
<v Speaker 1>right on top of the chair. That's how the show
<v Speaker 1>went off. Here the challenger, Seth Rollins was standing tall
<v Speaker 1>over the champion. Enjoy it because that's the only time
<v Speaker 1>that's going to be happening, because Seth Rollins is not
<v Speaker 1>beating Roman Rains this weekend to win the World Heavyweight Championship,
<v Speaker 1>but they are closing out the weekend. That is your
<v Speaker 1>Night two main event on Sunday. It will be Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns against Seth Rollins at the end of the show, which, honestly,
<v Speaker 1>now that we're here and we see the weeks and
<v Speaker 1>weeks of build for these respective main events, it makes sense.
<v Speaker 1>I said this on the sound of this Weekend. I
<v Speaker 1>was wrong. I was wrong. I said coming into this, oh,
<v Speaker 1>this this night too. Main event. It's gotta be Cody
<v Speaker 1>and Punk. They have to be closing with Cody and Punk,
<v Speaker 1>and I still feel like that's the match I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>forward to more than this one. But considering everything that
<v Speaker 1>they've done, you can't honestly say that the built like
<v Speaker 1>the build up for the Cody and Punk match feels
<v Speaker 1>like it warrants that being the night too main event.
<v Speaker 1>They've done a much better job of promoting this and
<v Speaker 1>making this feel like a bigger deal, just based on
<v Speaker 1>all the history they have. Right. They did it again tonight.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't mention it, but they had a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>these little, very brief like vignettes. Because last week they
<v Speaker 1>talked about the cash in, they talked about some of
<v Speaker 1>the other moments from over the years in the history
<v Speaker 1>of Roman and Seth. Tonight they did more of that.
<v Speaker 1>They talked about their match in twenty twenty two at
<v Speaker 1>the Rumble, they talked about their Wrestle Media Night one
<v Speaker 1>main event last year. They've done a better job of
<v Speaker 1>just getting people kind of I guess invested in the
<v Speaker 1>story of Roman reigns and Seth rollins and how this
<v Speaker 1>is the big payoff. This is it. This is probably
<v Speaker 1>the final time, right, the final battle between these two men.
<v Speaker 1>It's not the match that I'm looking forward to the most,
<v Speaker 1>but it does make sense to me that they would
<v Speaker 1>close out the weekend with it, or maybe they also
<v Speaker 1>just have a big angle plant. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>it would be, you know, I'm not going to say
<v Speaker 1>someone's turning. Maybe some debuting, I don't know, but that's
<v Speaker 1>what's going to be closing out the weekend on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>This show, this show was not good. This show was
<v Speaker 1>not good. The Dan Housen segment obviously is going to
<v Speaker 1>stand out like a sore thumb. I mean that segment
<v Speaker 1>was fucking horrendous. But these shows right now again, they're
<v Speaker 1>just they're just not fun to watch. And they were.
<v Speaker 1>It's not like they've always been like this, but this
<v Speaker 1>is generally how they are now. SmackDown was easily the
<v Speaker 1>worst show on television you go back to the beginning
<v Speaker 1>of the year. I don't want to say the show
<v Speaker 1>is so much better now. I mean it's improved in
<v Speaker 1>some ways, but SmackDown it's an hour less, thank god.
<v Speaker 1>But like SmackDown ain't that good either. It's not like
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown has had some marked improvement from a few months ago.
<v Speaker 1>They kind of waffle. They go back and forth where
<v Speaker 1>one week maybe Raw's the better show, one week SmackDown's
<v Speaker 1>the better show. But the weekly television in WWE. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know that collectively, week to week television has been
<v Speaker 1>this bad in years. Uninspired, dull, repetitive, lifeless, so many
<v Speaker 1>words that you could think of to describe these shows.
<v Speaker 1>And it sucks, you know, it really sucks because I
<v Speaker 1>don't like seeing it this way. It makes it harder
<v Speaker 1>to talk about these shows, you know, when there aren't
<v Speaker 1>enough stories or segments on there that truly get you
<v Speaker 1>excited about them. It's not like I aim at the
<v Speaker 1>beginning of each week, Oh, I can't wait for this
<v Speaker 1>week's show to be fucking trash so that we can
<v Speaker 1>just pick it apart. Oh believe me, if it's trash,
<v Speaker 1>I will pick it apart. But I'm just kind of hoping,
<v Speaker 1>like maybe they can come up with something this week,
<v Speaker 1>you know, maybe maybe they could pull a rabbit out
<v Speaker 1>of the hat. I know not every weekly show is
<v Speaker 1>going to be a home run. It's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>television to produce in the span of a year. But
<v Speaker 1>I'm not great on a curve, and neither should you.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you're investing your time in these shows, and
<v Speaker 1>I know many of you aren't. By the way, I
<v Speaker 1>know many of you don't even watch this anymore, you've
<v Speaker 1>given up. You just rely on me. You come here
<v Speaker 1>and tune in specifically because you want to be kept
<v Speaker 1>updated on what's going on, because you're not watching the shows.
<v Speaker 1>I don't blame you. I don't blame you one bit,
<v Speaker 1>But I think people genuinely want the shows to be good.
<v Speaker 1>When they're good, they breeze by. It makes it a
<v Speaker 1>lot easier to watch, makes the discussions more lively, right
<v Speaker 1>when you're kind of into it and it's like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>where's this going to go? What are they gonna do
<v Speaker 1>with this guy? Man, this guy's on the rise. Like,
<v Speaker 1>it's just very it's just very flat right now. So
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what else there is to say about
<v Speaker 1>the show that I haven't already said. Not good. We
<v Speaker 1>move on now to s on Friday. Now, we got
<v Speaker 1>one show left before Summer Slam this weekend. I'll be
<v Speaker 1>here to take you through it. I'll be here for
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam this weekend. I'll be here for Dynamite on Wednesday,
<v Speaker 1>the first Dynamite coming out of Redemption. We'll talk about
<v Speaker 1>it all, break it all down like we always do.
<v Speaker 1>It's what we do, Solid Monster for creative. I don't
<v Speaker 1>want the job. No, thank you, they need a lot
<v Speaker 1>more than that. Oh there's Joe Hendry there he is.
<v Speaker 1>He gets more airtime on these streams and he does
<v Speaker 1>unraw sad as. That is all right. So we hit
<v Speaker 1>the likes goal, we smash that. Thank you guys for that.
<v Speaker 1>Let's go to your messages before we get into any
<v Speaker 1>of that, and then we can be the booker and
<v Speaker 1>if we hit the bonus goal, we'll do two rounds
<v Speaker 1>right now out of ten on the bonus goal. Again.
<v Speaker 1>If you're joining late, thank you for getting me to
<v Speaker 1>ninety three thousand subscribers here on the channel overnight. Appreciate
<v Speaker 1>you guys very much. I hope you enjoy your stay.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for the coverage. Before this becomes WWE sounds off.
<v Speaker 1>Never gonna happen, brother, not gonna happen. We'll start with death.
<v Speaker 1>Sith says. I can see either Finn Balor or Sammy
<v Speaker 1>Zain winning the WWE Championship at money in the bank.
<v Speaker 1>At money in the bank, huh, only to drop the
<v Speaker 1>belt on the same night when they are immediately cashed
<v Speaker 1>in on. I don't know about Finn, I could totally
<v Speaker 1>see that happening to Sammy though also with Sammy it
<v Speaker 1>would make sense because it would further progress his justice.
<v Speaker 1>For Sammy a gimmick, and with Balor, at least he
<v Speaker 1>can always say that he was WWE champion. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>would rather they not even put the belt on him.
<v Speaker 1>If that's the case. I think that would be terrible
<v Speaker 1>for Sammy's ay, and I could see that. But for
<v Speaker 1>Finn Balor, I can't do that to Finn Balor should
<v Speaker 1>just say that he held the belt. That's not how
<v Speaker 1>people would look at it, though. People would look at
<v Speaker 1>it and go, man, do you remember when they fucked
<v Speaker 1>over Finn Balor money in the bank that one year.
<v Speaker 1>If you want to put the belt on Finn Balor,
<v Speaker 1>then put it on him, take it seriously and put
<v Speaker 1>it on him and give him a run with it.
<v Speaker 1>If you don't, then don't put it on. It's very simple.
<v Speaker 1>WWE wrestling and gaming predictions for money in the bank,
<v Speaker 1>I don't really have any right now. Honestly, I think
<v Speaker 1>my early prediction was Rock saying for women's money in
<v Speaker 1>the bank. I guess I'll stick with her. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if I'm as enthusiastic about that. I guess it
<v Speaker 1>ends on where things are. If they're still planning on
<v Speaker 1>building to a rift with her and live, I could
<v Speaker 1>see it being Roxanne for the men. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if it's really a favorite that I have right now. Honestly,
<v Speaker 1>you know what he just mentioned, Sammy's ay. I could
<v Speaker 1>see Samuy's a winning money in the bank and then
<v Speaker 1>walking around with a briefcase and saying I got my
<v Speaker 1>opportunity right here, and then eventually cashing it and losing
<v Speaker 1>Groovy Goose. For as nostalgic as people get. For the
<v Speaker 1>Winged Eagle belt after Shawn Michael's posed with it for Playgirl,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why anyone would have wanted to win
<v Speaker 1>it after that. I mean, you could say the same
<v Speaker 1>thing for all these people now when they win their
<v Speaker 1>belts down naked and they take pictures of it with
<v Speaker 1>the belts around their crotch. I think that's very disrespectful
<v Speaker 1>to the person who's going to hold that belt after them.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna have to disinfect that thing, Ragnarok. The only
<v Speaker 1>ones cursed are us the audience. This show sucks. Ricky says,
<v Speaker 1>you picked Dom to win money in the bank. I did,
<v Speaker 1>That's right. Well, I'm taking that back I no longer
<v Speaker 1>feel that way. Aaron's says, a great show, plenty of ads, provos, celebrities,
<v Speaker 1>video packages. Only issue was every forty five minutes or so,
<v Speaker 1>they kept doing this thing called wrestling in between. Yeah, Aaron,
<v Speaker 1>I did notice that that was actually quite annoying when
<v Speaker 1>they would interrupt all of it with a wrestling match.
<v Speaker 1>I wish they would stop doing that. It's a very
<v Speaker 1>bad habit they have. Dry Chicken says aw Redemption wasn't
<v Speaker 1>their strongest pay per view last night, says I will
<v Speaker 1>credit Tony Kahan for allowing Andrade Maya World, Kevin Knight's
<v Speaker 1>Speedball and others to step up their game. It was
<v Speaker 1>a showcase, and the pay per view was called Redemption
<v Speaker 1>for a story that ended up playing out three weeks early.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe don't call it redemption next year, becaus I'm watching
<v Speaker 1>The Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring over
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw. I'm not sure which is longer WWE
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling and Gaming. What do Roman, seth Oba, and Brock
<v Speaker 1>do after SummerSlam? Brock don't do shit. Brock's going away Oba.
<v Speaker 1>That's the million dollar question. What does Oba do? And
<v Speaker 1>how long does Roman stick around? For because I think
<v Speaker 1>he's gonna leave again for a few months. I just
<v Speaker 1>don't know when. I don't know if he's going to
<v Speaker 1>stick around until Russell Palooza, He's gonna go away after SummerSlam,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. Alex says that Hendry and Danhausen segment
<v Speaker 1>was one of the worst segments I've ever seen in
<v Speaker 1>This company. Says, this show sucks. This company is done.
<v Speaker 1>This company is not done. That's the problem this company.
<v Speaker 1>They have no incentive to change anything they do because
<v Speaker 1>they continue to make money regardless, in spite of themselves.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they continue to make money. They'll make money
<v Speaker 1>now off this new WWE radio deal that they put together.
<v Speaker 1>Doesn't really matter to them. GMB says Triple H's obsession
<v Speaker 1>with Raquel needs to be studied. I don't think an obsession.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think it's an obsession with her, not really
<v Speaker 1>push that hard. There's other people he's obsessed with on
<v Speaker 1>this show. I wouldn't say Raquel is necessarily one of
<v Speaker 1>those people. Brandon Proctor says, I can't be bothered to
<v Speaker 1>watch this shit anymore. It literally puts me to sleep.
<v Speaker 1>But I always enjoy these streams. I can understand this
<v Speaker 1>review being a lot more tolerable. I get it, Like
<v Speaker 1>I get white people who you know, become disenchanted with
<v Speaker 1>the product but don't want to completely divorce themselves from
<v Speaker 1>WWE or from wrestling. You know, would stop watching the shows,
<v Speaker 1>but then would just sort of follow along on social media,
<v Speaker 1>or they would tune into podcasts or YouTube shows. It
<v Speaker 1>keeps you connected, you know. There's a sense of community, right,
<v Speaker 1>A lot of the same people, a lot of the
<v Speaker 1>same faces every week, and then if things take a
<v Speaker 1>turn and start to get really good again, it's like,
<v Speaker 1>oh shit, things are getting good. I better jump back in, right,
<v Speaker 1>I get it. It makes sense. It's sad though, that
<v Speaker 1>there are a lot of people who have given up
<v Speaker 1>on it. Josh Carlos, we got a sicko in the chat.
<v Speaker 1>Josh Carlos says Triple h prepping for the Chaperone two
<v Speaker 1>with new hair. Don't be shocked dan Housen wins a
<v Speaker 1>belt before the end of twenty twenty six. Maybe they'll
<v Speaker 1>have Dan Housen win the Triple A Mega title from
<v Speaker 1>Dom at Triple Mania. Jeremy Rose heels playing to the
<v Speaker 1>crowd or a farming and yeating is something I can't
<v Speaker 1>ever get used to leave that to the baby Faces. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Nick Rosso instead of Solo Socoa's turning. Maybe Zillapha two
<v Speaker 1>debuts this weekend and helps Jacob and the usso's beat
<v Speaker 1>Solo Keys and Knight. Well that's going to be awfully
<v Speaker 1>hard seeing is how we have Zilla booked four House
<v Speaker 1>of Glory next Friday. In fact, we just announced today
<v Speaker 1>that Zillapha two is going to be defending his Crown
<v Speaker 1>Jewel Championship August seventh. That was me earlier tonight, ay
<v Speaker 1>Yuki oh rules, Thank you for the fifteen dollars super chat.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, we have a Zilla wrestling Red that's the
<v Speaker 1>Friday after Summer Slam defending his Crown Jewel title. Karon
<v Speaker 1>says they used to show the way they used They
<v Speaker 1>use the show to tell people to give them money,
<v Speaker 1>instead of presenting a good product to make people want
<v Speaker 1>to spend money. They tell instead of show. It's a
<v Speaker 1>good way of putting it. I mean, look, the weekly
<v Speaker 1>television shows going back to the to the nineties have
<v Speaker 1>always just been an infomercial for what used to be
<v Speaker 1>the pay per views. Part of the problem I also
<v Speaker 1>think is that WWE they don't rely on pay per
<v Speaker 1>views anymore. Right, They used to be very reliant on
<v Speaker 1>ticket sales because they were running so many live events.
<v Speaker 1>Ticket sales and pay per views. I mean, that was
<v Speaker 1>their lifeline. Now they get all this guaranteed money. They
<v Speaker 1>get guaranteed money from NBC Universal, they get guarantee money
<v Speaker 1>from ESPN, they get guaranteed money from Netflix, billions and
<v Speaker 1>billions of dollars. Now they're in bed with serious XM.
<v Speaker 1>They make all of these deals and they have all
<v Speaker 1>this money coming in. All their events are streamed. Right,
<v Speaker 1>There is no such thing in WWE anymore as pay
<v Speaker 1>per view. Right, they already have your money all these subscriptions.
<v Speaker 1>They barely run any live events. Obviously they want to
<v Speaker 1>sell tickets. But okay, SummerSlam is gonna sell probably between
<v Speaker 1>the two nights. SummerSlam this year will do probably fifty
<v Speaker 1>to sixty thousand tickets less than they did last year.
<v Speaker 1>Not gonna change anything. They're still gonna make a lot
<v Speaker 1>of money because the prices are still elevated. So they
<v Speaker 1>may not set a new gate wreker this weekend, but
<v Speaker 1>they're still gonna make a shitload of money. They don't
<v Speaker 1>give a shit, they don't care. They don't care. Phil
<v Speaker 1>with a nine ninety nine says, Hey, Solo, were you
<v Speaker 1>a fan of the first Jeepers Creepers movie? Also, the
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen segment was a dog shit. I was a
<v Speaker 1>of the Jeepers Creepers movie. Barry MK. Where's lyra Her
<v Speaker 1>and Bailey had a great match and we haven't seen
<v Speaker 1>her again. It's like New Day turn, heel and nothing? Oh,
<v Speaker 1>I forgot all about that. Yeah, man, there's so many
<v Speaker 1>examples when it comes to like Triple H booking. Geez
<v Speaker 1>I talked about the plight of the tag team division.
<v Speaker 1>I talked about the women's divisions on ball shows. Look
<v Speaker 1>at some of the heel turns that we've had, man,
<v Speaker 1>you know the John Cena heel turn, the New Day
<v Speaker 1>heel turn. He could do a memorable turn, but then
<v Speaker 1>he has no idea how to follow up on that turn,
<v Speaker 1>which is kind of the whole point, and he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>do a very good job of following up on it.
<v Speaker 1>Forgot about that New Day turn, Griga. Hey Solo just
<v Speaker 1>wanted to drop by. Thanks for the content. You're very welcome, Griga.
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad you dropped by. Z Ray I'm gonna be honest,
<v Speaker 1>this was a boring show. The only thing interesting to
<v Speaker 1>me now on Raw is Solo Socoa. I love his
<v Speaker 1>promos so much, and he's technically not even on Raw.
<v Speaker 1>He's not even part of the Raw roster. Aaronsa's buyer
<v Speaker 1>sell concert tonight or Lashly's sisters. Sadly, I will have
<v Speaker 1>to go at the concert tonight. This was, by no
<v Speaker 1>means the worst thing I've seen on this television show.
<v Speaker 1>Didn't lyra break her nose? I don't know if it
<v Speaker 1>was confirmed that it was broken. She busted up her
<v Speaker 1>nose on Saturday Night's Made Event, Bailey fucking hit her
<v Speaker 1>with a freakin forearm to the bridge of her nose.
<v Speaker 1>Man then you have Raquel tonight getting her nose busted
<v Speaker 1>up by Saul Ruka. What is going on in these matches?
<v Speaker 1>You know, someone needs to tell them that wrestling is
<v Speaker 1>a work. I mean, I know injuries happened in wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>but geez, I feel like, how many how many broken
<v Speaker 1>noses or busted noses have we had? This is getting
<v Speaker 1>out of hand here, supposed to be a work. You
<v Speaker 1>gotta work smarter. Michael Ferguson just recently got back into wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>Find your show better than anything WWE or ae W
<v Speaker 1>been listening multiple times a week. Keep up the solid content,
<v Speaker 1>my man, Well, thank you? Is it Mitchell? That's interesting?
<v Speaker 1>I think I may have said Michael first. I apologize.
<v Speaker 1>I think that might be Mitchell or Mitchill. I want
<v Speaker 1>to make sure I say it correctly. I appreciate that
<v Speaker 1>though I appreciate the compliment. Jeremy Rose says, let's say
<v Speaker 1>money in the Bank. Oba beats Roman. Oba wrestles Roman
<v Speaker 1>and money in the bank. You're gonna You're gonna do
<v Speaker 1>that matchup Money in the bank, but he gets cashed
<v Speaker 1>in on by bron Breaker who just won money in
<v Speaker 1>the bank. It good for business or bad? Too early
<v Speaker 1>for bron Oba feud. I don't, Yeah, I mean doing
<v Speaker 1>Roman Oba money in the bank. I wouldn't be doing that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm all for trying to build up bron again to
<v Speaker 1>a point where you could get people to want to
<v Speaker 1>see him against against Oba. I don't think it would
<v Speaker 1>take too much. I don't think it would take too
<v Speaker 1>much to get him, you know, hot enough to get
<v Speaker 1>to that point. But yeah, I wouldn't be you know,
<v Speaker 1>one of my thoughts was in the King of the
<v Speaker 1>Ring tournament, you could have gotten away with doing the
<v Speaker 1>first match between Oba and Bron because I think they
<v Speaker 1>were on the same side of the bracket. And there
<v Speaker 1>were some people when I mentioned that who were like, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>why are you going to blow it off from the
<v Speaker 1>King of the Ring. It's just the first match. You
<v Speaker 1>get people a taste of what's to come, and I
<v Speaker 1>think that would have been Okay, Well, you're talking about
<v Speaker 1>here is like a full blown feud with them, and yes,
<v Speaker 1>it's too early to blow that off in what is
<v Speaker 1>typically a very cold, kind of quiet period of the year.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that I would be doing that now.
<v Speaker 1>If you wanted to have Braun cash in and win
<v Speaker 1>the championship and then build to the match in early
<v Speaker 1>twenty seven between Oba and Breaker, that I could get
<v Speaker 1>behind the boy Bron Breaker is he's nowhere near that
<v Speaker 1>position right now. He is nowhere near being in that position,
<v Speaker 1>not what they have him doing. I smoke a lot
<v Speaker 1>of weed. DT solo collab. We did a show together
<v Speaker 1>a while back. Could happen again at some point. I
<v Speaker 1>do a lot of shows, dude, I do a lot
<v Speaker 1>of shows in a given week. Sound off every Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>you got Raw Monday Nights, you got Uncrowned on Tuesday's
<v Speaker 1>TNT on Tuesdays, dynamout on Wednesdays, SmackDown on Fridays. We've
<v Speaker 1>got two nights of Summer Slam this weekend and a
<v Speaker 1>sound off sandwiched in between. Like, dude, I'm about to drop.
<v Speaker 1>You're giving me more shows. I'm about to drop. I
<v Speaker 1>need a vacation is what I need. Thank you, brother.
<v Speaker 1>Shout out to DT Boots with a ten dollars super
<v Speaker 1>chat says, when I wake up at five am, my
<v Speaker 1>alarm is set to Brett Hart's WWF theme by Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>Hart and JJ maguire. I jump out of bed and
<v Speaker 1>do the gestures that Brett would do once he enters
<v Speaker 1>the ring and he looks at the crowd. That's a
<v Speaker 1>lot of information that you just shared there. That's a
<v Speaker 1>great song though. See that's another one that's a Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>Hart one the Art Foundation team man, and I thought
<v Speaker 1>I was a Brett Hart fan. This guy's waking up
<v Speaker 1>at five o'clock in the morning to his entrance music
<v Speaker 1>and doing all the gestures. I don't even do that.
<v Speaker 1>And we just hit the bonus goll ten out of ten.
<v Speaker 1>I think z Ra put us over the top there,
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, bro. There that I do believe is a double, right,
<v Speaker 1>that's a double Be the Booker right there? All right,
<v Speaker 1>So I'm gonna stop that one and we'll put a
<v Speaker 1>new one up just for shits and giggles. We'll try
<v Speaker 1>for a triple round. So we'll put a new goal
<v Speaker 1>up there. So, got two rounds coming your way. Don't
<v Speaker 1>go nowhere. Nick Grosso, with a five, says, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if you heard. Mike Santana has a new name
<v Speaker 1>and it is Cruz Montana. Why did he need a
<v Speaker 1>name change? He didn't want to license his name to
<v Speaker 1>WWE apparently. I think the whole thing is very silly.
<v Speaker 1>He has literally been on NXT television as Mike Santana.
<v Speaker 1>But at least he got to pick a name that
<v Speaker 1>had some significance to him. It has to do with
<v Speaker 1>his father, who passed away many years ago. Have you
<v Speaker 1>ever done a quadruple be the Booker. We just did
<v Speaker 1>it a few weeks ago. I kept setting goals and
<v Speaker 1>the goals kept getting met. I think we did four
<v Speaker 1>rounds in one night. Philip who just asked that question. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>Philip says, someone in the chat said WWE contributes to
<v Speaker 1>society's downfall, and I can totally see the validity of
<v Speaker 1>that statement. What is it about WWE that contributes to
<v Speaker 1>society's downfall? I can understand people saying that, which they were,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, in the late nineties, when you had
<v Speaker 1>people on television who were telling people to suck it,
<v Speaker 1>and people flipping, you know, other wrestlers off, and you
<v Speaker 1>had women walking around and skimpy bikinis and teenagers watching
<v Speaker 1>the show and get old, horny and shit. I could
<v Speaker 1>see people thinking that wrestling was going to be the
<v Speaker 1>downfall of society back then. I'm not sure how it's
<v Speaker 1>the downfall of society right now, considering society is already
<v Speaker 1>in free fall. More important things to worry about them
<v Speaker 1>pro wrestling there with my friend Philip. Thank you, Alexander
<v Speaker 1>says Triple h riha. We need to take the belt
<v Speaker 1>off you. You're hurt Ria. That don't work for me, brother, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I love I love this idea that Ria is the
<v Speaker 1>one who is She's got that creative control clause in
<v Speaker 1>her contract. Come on now, b money oh four says
<v Speaker 1>Hey solo don't know if you have heard yet, but
<v Speaker 1>ESPN Unlimited is finally available for YouTube TV. That is
<v Speaker 1>a lie, my friend, not for me. It's not I
<v Speaker 1>tried it multiple times earlier. I went through all the
<v Speaker 1>steps in the YouTube TV app settings. In the ESPN app,
<v Speaker 1>I chose the YouTube tv as my TV provider. It's
<v Speaker 1>all set. Still doesn't work. I guess I'm one of
<v Speaker 1>the unlucky ones. Oh well, Griga, I'm still not paying
<v Speaker 1>thirty bucks for that shit. Griga says. The last WWEPL
<v Speaker 1>to have a poll match was Extreme Rules in twenty seventeen.
<v Speaker 1>Kendos Stick on a Pole was Alexa Bliss against Bailey. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>I remember that being awful. That was a terrible match,
<v Speaker 1>wasn't it. Luis with a twenty two dollars super chat.
<v Speaker 1>I was trying to start a venette. Oh, that's right,
<v Speaker 1>he was there. You were there, Louise, Louis. He's out
<v Speaker 1>in the LA area. I was trying to start a
<v Speaker 1>Vanessa chant because a wild Vanessa Hudgens appeared. It backfired
<v Speaker 1>on me. He says. Also screw these arenas for making
<v Speaker 1>rideshare services unavailable anywhere near the Into It Dome Go
<v Speaker 1>Metro in Inglewood. Louise doesn't give a shit about the show.
<v Speaker 1>He's just upset that he couldn't call for an uber
<v Speaker 1>outside the arena. But she didn't tell me what you
<v Speaker 1>thought of the show, Louise. Clone Forces. My great grandma
<v Speaker 1>passed away this past Friday at ninety six. I'm very
<v Speaker 1>sorry to hear that Clone Force for the two of
<v Speaker 1>you close. I'll tell you what, though, if it's any
<v Speaker 1>solace ninety six, we should all be so lucky. There
<v Speaker 1>are very many people with my family who make it
<v Speaker 1>anywhere close to that, so that's a hell of a
<v Speaker 1>run that she had there. But I'm very sorry to
<v Speaker 1>hear that Fire Breather seven nineteen is WWE two k oh.
<v Speaker 1>I thought this a two K. Twenty six is WWE
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six getting close to reaching twenty nineteen levels.
<v Speaker 1>I always hate making this comparison because twenty eighteen into
<v Speaker 1>twenty nineteen was so fucking awful, So now I have
<v Speaker 1>to like compare levels of awfulness between the two eras.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to do that. I will just say
<v Speaker 1>that the television shows right now are just not that enjoyable.
<v Speaker 1>Back then, they were more offensive, and I think the
<v Speaker 1>big difference here is that these are not offensive in
<v Speaker 1>the way that those were. Maybe these are more disappointing
<v Speaker 1>because there's no reason for the shows right now to
<v Speaker 1>be as boring as they are. Back then, they were
<v Speaker 1>like actively offensive. How bad so many of those shows were?
<v Speaker 1>They were so bad? They were so bad Yuki oh rules.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even know about the serious thing until last week?
<v Speaker 1>But who needs that when we got the solid monster?
<v Speaker 1>Keep up the great work. See, that's the attitude you
<v Speaker 1>need to have. What the hell do you need that for?
<v Speaker 1>What the hell do you need Bully Ray for? You
<v Speaker 1>got me? You got one New Yorker over here instead
<v Speaker 1>of the other one. That's all you need. Donald with
<v Speaker 1>a four ninety nine. Best part of raw was whoever
<v Speaker 1>pink shirt was that cameraman caught during the Roman entrance?
<v Speaker 1>If you know, you know, I did not see this
<v Speaker 1>pink shirt that you're referring to. I must have looked away.
<v Speaker 1>Who was in the pink shirt? Hat of discipline? Who
<v Speaker 1>is one of the ones responsible for helping us get
<v Speaker 1>to our bonus call tonight? So thank you? Brother Randy?
<v Speaker 1>Is another example of a great turn with a shit
<v Speaker 1>follow up. We should start keeping a list of this
<v Speaker 1>new day orton Sina. Oh, I know there was another one.
<v Speaker 1>I'm proud, almost almost positive there was another one. Hopefully,
<v Speaker 1>if Cody goes heal this weekend, as I think he might,
<v Speaker 1>we don't add him to the list again and they
<v Speaker 1>can do the heel turn. But then they can't stick
<v Speaker 1>the landing on the follow up. That's what worries me.
<v Speaker 1>And then another ten dollars drop here from the hat
<v Speaker 1>of Discipline, Thank you, z Ray with a ten. I
<v Speaker 1>feel bad for bron Breaker. He has become second fiddle
<v Speaker 1>to Austin theory in Maxine, and that is a historical
<v Speaker 1>drop from the mountaintop. It's like Darby doing a coffin
<v Speaker 1>drop off the top of Mount Everest. Is what that is?
<v Speaker 1>I zone out during Roman's entrance. Now, well, I mean
<v Speaker 1>it takes them long enough to get to the rings.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not surprised. Joseph Brooks, do you remember Live Wire?
<v Speaker 1>If so, what was your favorite episode? Mine was the
<v Speaker 1>episode with stone Cold Steve Austin, and another was mister
<v Speaker 1>Bob Back. Yes, I used to wake up every Saturday
<v Speaker 1>morning and watch Live Wire when it was actually live.
<v Speaker 1>My favorite episode was probably the Bruce from Connecticut episode
<v Speaker 1>when Paul Hayman called in as Bruce from Connecticut. Another
<v Speaker 1>favorite of mine is when Jim Ross, who was wearing
<v Speaker 1>this horrible sweater, was taking calls from fans who, like
<v Speaker 1>the people were either getting nervous or they were asking
<v Speaker 1>all kinds of weird questions, and he was getting visibly annoyed,
<v Speaker 1>and that was a favorite of mine. Also, it's been
<v Speaker 1>said that wrestlemani Is seventeen was the end of the
<v Speaker 1>Attitude era. What match, moment or event in your opinion,
<v Speaker 1>ended the Hogan era, New Generation and Ruthless Aggression era.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know about Ruthless Aggression the New Generation era.
<v Speaker 1>To me, yeah, as far as the match that ended
<v Speaker 1>the New Generation era, I almost want to say when
<v Speaker 1>Sid beat Sean at Madison Square Garden to win the
<v Speaker 1>title at Survivor Series. And then as far as the
<v Speaker 1>the Golden era, the Hogan era, the match that ended
<v Speaker 1>the Hogan Era, well, I mean, you could say when
<v Speaker 1>Hogan got beat by Yoka at King of the Ring,
<v Speaker 1>it's only appropriate right that it would be a match
<v Speaker 1>that Hogan was in. I think that one would kind
<v Speaker 1>of makes sense because then he went away and they
<v Speaker 1>really I know, Brett wasn't the champion at that point,
<v Speaker 1>he had already lost it, but they kind of went
<v Speaker 1>in on Brett. They tried with Lex. You know, it
<v Speaker 1>didn't really work out, but you felt like, Okay, there's
<v Speaker 1>a changing of the guard going on here. Aaron says,
<v Speaker 1>maybe if Cody comes up short at Summerslim, they'll circle
<v Speaker 1>back to Hayman, telling Cody months ago, sooner or later,
<v Speaker 1>everyone needs a wise man. He's like the uh, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to say it, but he's like he's
<v Speaker 1>the one that gets passed around from guy to guy.
<v Speaker 1>Like that's basically what he is. At this point, we'll
<v Speaker 1>just pass Hayman around from one guy to the next.
<v Speaker 1>Boy gets he gets around this guy, doesn't he We
<v Speaker 1>need to see the problem is we need another Hayman
<v Speaker 1>instead of just always going with Hayman. Don Kallus in
<v Speaker 1>aw is the closest thing that we have to that,
<v Speaker 1>But I wish there was someone else that they had
<v Speaker 1>who could who's almost like a Paul Hayman type, who
<v Speaker 1>could fill that role instead of constantly just going back
<v Speaker 1>to Paul Hayman. In Saint James, my fiance calls Raquel
<v Speaker 1>the Mammoth and hates Live. Well, apparently with that name,
<v Speaker 1>she hates Raul too. She's calling her the Mammoth. Barry MK.
<v Speaker 1>Speaking of WWE two K twenty six, that game's story
<v Speaker 1>mode has Jordan Grace as the women's champion. Remember when
<v Speaker 1>we when we thought that that would have happened for real? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>well those days are over. Her run was over in
<v Speaker 1>this company before it even began. That's right, Big G
<v Speaker 1>says Hayman, is like the town bicycle. Everyone gets a ride.
<v Speaker 1>That's exactly what he is. Uh JM JM Man four
<v Speaker 1>three eighty five with a four ninety nine. I much
<v Speaker 1>rather watch to the rock make fun of fat women
<v Speaker 1>of Sacramento than whatever that concert was tonight. That would
<v Speaker 1>be very entertaining. Remember when Hollywood, Dave Bautista was cutting
<v Speaker 1>a promo on John Cena and he was talking about
<v Speaker 1>Sena going around kissing babies and hugging fat women, and
<v Speaker 1>he was like going on and on insulting people. But
<v Speaker 1>he's standing there in this like I don't even think
<v Speaker 1>it was a leather vest. I think it was almost
<v Speaker 1>like a like a like a gene vest or something
<v Speaker 1>like he looked ridiculous himself, but he was still able
<v Speaker 1>to pull off the look. But he's talking about Sena
<v Speaker 1>going around and kissing up to everybody. I'm like, man,
<v Speaker 1>where's that entertainment? That's what we need. We need more
<v Speaker 1>people like that on the show to help make this
<v Speaker 1>show entertaining. What happened to those larger than life personalities? Man,
<v Speaker 1>I feel like like three quarters of these shows now, well,
<v Speaker 1>first of all, three quarters of the show is commercials,
<v Speaker 1>but then the other, like quarter of the show is
<v Speaker 1>just eaten up by entrances and people that just they
<v Speaker 1>just take all the time in the world to just
<v Speaker 1>walk to the ring and they look around and they
<v Speaker 1>wait and they wait for the people to start chanting
<v Speaker 1>and singing, or they run it back or they do
<v Speaker 1>the like nothing actually ever happens on these shows. You
<v Speaker 1>ever noticed that, It's like, all this other shit is
<v Speaker 1>going on, nothing of any real significance is actually taking place. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I spy our little intruder in the chat, A wild
<v Speaker 1>JD has appeared. I'm sure that he was just in
<v Speaker 1>love with that show tonight. I don't know. We were
<v Speaker 1>texting before he texted me before he was like, man,
<v Speaker 1>this is the best Rire I've seen all year. I go,
<v Speaker 1>you must be on drugs. I'm sure he loved that
<v Speaker 1>concert now that'd see. The big question is if it
<v Speaker 1>would have if that concert would have had someone from
<v Speaker 1>Alterbridge in the ring performing with Joe Hendry and Dan Housen,
<v Speaker 1>would he have given it a better grade? That would
<v Speaker 1>have been very difficult for him not to. We got
<v Speaker 1>West Coast James is with us, celebrating sixty one months
<v Speaker 1>of membership. I didn't go to tonight's show. That's right.
<v Speaker 1>You're in California, That's right. I didn't go to tonight's show.
<v Speaker 1>I would rather go to the next Hog show here
<v Speaker 1>in LA I think that would be a fine choice.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully we will have a date to announce very shortly
<v Speaker 1>on that May's the great with sixty months of membership,
<v Speaker 1>buy or sell? Who do you think cares about the
<v Speaker 1>wrestler's next less aw or New Japan? I don't think
<v Speaker 1>New Japan gives a shit, but AW sure as hell doesn't.
<v Speaker 1>I've seen more. I've seen more near broken necks I
<v Speaker 1>think this year in that company than I've ever seen before.
<v Speaker 1>Jay White was almost paralyzed the other night because David
<v Speaker 1>Finley got his foot stuck on the chain and we
<v Speaker 1>got Ray Ray with a ten. Hats off to you,
<v Speaker 1>solo monster, because other than pl E's I hardly even
<v Speaker 1>watch these garbage weekly advertisement shows anymore. But I still
<v Speaker 1>tune into the sound off TNT in most of your
<v Speaker 1>show reviews. That's because you are a very smart man,
<v Speaker 1>Rey Ray, and I appreciate the hell out of you
<v Speaker 1>for it. You got me tonight, you got TNT tomorrow night,
<v Speaker 1>So we got you covered. We got you covered. Brother
<v Speaker 1>U K O. Rules is coming in with a five. Also,
<v Speaker 1>I know you don't care, but what happened to the
<v Speaker 1>Miz and Kit Wilson? Are they still? Are they still zombies? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Apparently w W doesn't give a shit either. They haven't
<v Speaker 1>given us an update on their condition. They were walking
<v Speaker 1>around as if they had as if they had a
<v Speaker 1>stroke or some some horrible, you know, medical malady had
<v Speaker 1>had occurred. I don't know. We haven't seen them in
<v Speaker 1>a few weeks. Perhaps they've taken a turn for the worse.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. They could be up in the hospital somewhere.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I did learn something new by the
<v Speaker 1>way I was watching. I was flipping before earlier, and
<v Speaker 1>I think it was PTI was on ESPN and they
<v Speaker 1>were talking about uh. I think it was a baseball
<v Speaker 1>player who calls himself the Miss, and I don't remember
<v Speaker 1>what team he plays for. But I'm like, I didn't
<v Speaker 1>know that there was another Miss. I thought there was
<v Speaker 1>only one. Apparently there was the Miz in MLB, and
<v Speaker 1>I just was unaware of this. We got Arc Prince
<v Speaker 1>with a ten dollars super chat. I'm late to the show,
<v Speaker 1>so I'm gonna go back in time to listen and
<v Speaker 1>catch you on the next review. Hyped for hog next
<v Speaker 1>week and perhaps I'll get to give you a fist bump.
<v Speaker 1>Are you gonna be there? Oh? You picked a good
<v Speaker 1>night to go. I know we're sold out four rows deep,
<v Speaker 1>standing room only. It's gonna be a great show and
<v Speaker 1>you all get to watch it live on YouTube, our
<v Speaker 1>first time. We're gonna be live and free on the
<v Speaker 1>official House of Glory YouTube channel. Yeah, mis Rowski with
<v Speaker 1>the Brewers. I don't know. I just I saw that
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, man, I I didn't know there
<v Speaker 1>was another Miz that they were referred to as the Mis. Unfortunately,
<v Speaker 1>I've tuned out most of the baseball stuff because the
<v Speaker 1>Mets are just so freaking horrible. It just completely soured
<v Speaker 1>me on baseball. So I like, I check in here
<v Speaker 1>and there and otherwise I just don't even want to
<v Speaker 1>know what's going on. Otherwise it'll just make me even
<v Speaker 1>more depressed. I get depressed enough watching Monday Night Raw.
<v Speaker 1>I don't need to be any more depressed watching the Mets.
<v Speaker 1>Forget how to play baseball. It's terrible anyway, got two
<v Speaker 1>rounds that you have unlocked for be the booker. That's
<v Speaker 1>how you know it's a good night. It's not a
<v Speaker 1>good night of raw, but it's a good night here
<v Speaker 1>on the channel. So let's go ahead and gearra, we
<v Speaker 1>got round number one coming your way right now. Ladies
<v Speaker 1>and gentlemen, it is now time to be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>Oh it's always a good time to be the booker,
<v Speaker 1>unless your name is Triple H and then I wish
<v Speaker 1>he would not be booking, not when we get shows
<v Speaker 1>like this. But let's see what we can come up
<v Speaker 1>with on our own, shall we. Let's see what we
<v Speaker 1>can whip up here. This is always a good time.
<v Speaker 1>Let me see those B to B emojis in the chat.
<v Speaker 1>Oh man tag teams. You know. Again, not exactly a
<v Speaker 1>Triple H special, but I do love me a good
<v Speaker 1>tag team match. They were a great team, even though
<v Speaker 1>they had the penny belts, which I hated. But we
<v Speaker 1>have Cody Rhoads and gold Dust keeping it in the family,
<v Speaker 1>kicking us off here and be the booker. The Mets
<v Speaker 1>won over JD's braves today fourteen to three. Wow. So
<v Speaker 1>then I expect them to get blown out in their
<v Speaker 1>next three games. Cody and gold Dust Up, Wait a minute,
<v Speaker 1>what is with these penny belts in every image? Choose
<v Speaker 1>two single stars to form a makeshift team? Could you imagine?
<v Speaker 1>Because I'm I'm in be the booker and JD is
<v Speaker 1>in be the booker, what if we ended up together
<v Speaker 1>as a tag team. Wouldn't that be something? Wow? And
<v Speaker 1>we would be wrestling Cody Rhoades and gold Dust. All right,
<v Speaker 1>makeshift team? Time they stop making the penny by the way. Good,
<v Speaker 1>it's a useless coin. Raymus Stereo okay, raymysteria, by the way.
<v Speaker 1>In that image that you just saw, that was from
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and six. It is now twenty twenty six,
<v Speaker 1>and he was wrestling on Monday Night Raw Tonight it's
<v Speaker 1>a hell of a career. He's had Raymistereo and the Undertaker.
<v Speaker 1>This is og Undertaker, this is permed hair Undertaker, this
<v Speaker 1>is gray Glove Undertaker, Undertaker and Ray against Cody and
<v Speaker 1>gold Dust. I like that. I like that a lot.
<v Speaker 1>All Right, women's match, what would that man? What would
<v Speaker 1>that match look like? Who gets the winning fall in
<v Speaker 1>that match? It's got to be Undertaker, right, Soul Ruca
<v Speaker 1>no longer you're Women's Intercontinental Champion. What a memorable run
<v Speaker 1>that she had with that belt. We're gonna look back
<v Speaker 1>on this years from now and think of all the
<v Speaker 1>great matches she had, all the great title defenses. So
<v Speaker 1>Ruka gonna go one on one with a j Lee
<v Speaker 1>a j Lee and take a soul snatcher. I feel
<v Speaker 1>like she's too short to take a soul snatcher. She's
<v Speaker 1>gonna go for the soul snatcher. There's gonna be nothing there.
<v Speaker 1>AJ's like five foot nothing. And in the main events,
<v Speaker 1>Jerry Curl, Undertaker, Soul Glow. We have everyone's favorites. Four letters,
<v Speaker 1>one word, uh huh yeat former World heavyweight Champion. This
<v Speaker 1>was a real thing. By the way, this is not Ai.
<v Speaker 1>This is a real image former World Heavyweight Champion jay
<v Speaker 1>Usso is once again main event. Jay Uso here in
<v Speaker 1>the main event of be the Booker. But against who?
<v Speaker 1>That is the question? Pure pure graps, pure crap. Is
<v Speaker 1>more like it? Jay Usso against Jeff Hardy. That'll sell
<v Speaker 1>some T shirts, right, that's merch heaven for WWE. They're
<v Speaker 1>gonna sell a lot of Jeff Hardy merch. They're gonna
<v Speaker 1>sell a lot of Jay Usso Yeat merch, the Yeat merchant.
<v Speaker 1>All right, you always want to sweep when we do this. However,
<v Speaker 1>you know what would be even better if we could
<v Speaker 1>do it again. We're aiming for the double sweep. Easy
<v Speaker 1>to do, but we're gonna try it first. We need
<v Speaker 1>some stipulations. Now, we have a pole match coming up
<v Speaker 1>at SummerSlam, so maybe we could land on pole match. No,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be a barroom brawl. Okay, that works too,
<v Speaker 1>That works to tag team barroom brawl. How about that
<v Speaker 1>tag team barroom brawl with the New Day, who are
<v Speaker 1>going to be free agents very shortly. Gee, I wonder
<v Speaker 1>where they'll go. See, I don't think the New Day drinks.
<v Speaker 1>They drink milk with their bootios. They're going to be
<v Speaker 1>in a barroom brawl. Oh, Mike, Oh, it's like they know.
<v Speaker 1>It's almost like Be the Booker knows. It's like Be
<v Speaker 1>the Booker is so excited about what's about to take place.
<v Speaker 1>Very soon, it got ahead of itself and it gave
<v Speaker 1>us the New Day against the Young Bucks. You got
<v Speaker 1>the new Day against the Young Bucks, and Be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker before you got it in aw Tony CON's not
<v Speaker 1>going to be very happy about this. He got scooped
<v Speaker 1>in a barroom brawl. Though. I see if it was
<v Speaker 1>a ladder match, see that I could see. It's become aware.
<v Speaker 1>I think Be the Booker became aware a long time
<v Speaker 1>ago with some of the matches that we've landed on.
<v Speaker 1>Ambulance match, this is a new one. I think this
<v Speaker 1>is one of the new stipulations. Someone is going in
<v Speaker 1>the back of the ambulance. Maybe you could just open
<v Speaker 1>the door and Strowman will just go running into the
<v Speaker 1>back of the ambulance. Then you could just slam the
<v Speaker 1>door behind him. Well, we're gonna have a women's ambulance match.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that there ever has been a women's
<v Speaker 1>ambulance match. Maybe there was one in NXT. Maybe I
<v Speaker 1>don't know Tris Stratis. She's definitely never been in an
<v Speaker 1>ambulance match before. Trish against who guess who was going
<v Speaker 1>to the local medical facility, Trish Stratus against Queen Zelena,
<v Speaker 1>and it pains me to do this. That is going
<v Speaker 1>to be a no go for me. Trish and Zelena
<v Speaker 1>in an ambulance match. Mm hmm, that's not a winner.
<v Speaker 1>We were closed, We were close. We could have had
<v Speaker 1>that double sweet Man got the new chime for it
<v Speaker 1>and everything, but it was not meant to be. However,
<v Speaker 1>you do get one more match, so let's see if
<v Speaker 1>we can. Is that with a Z or an X?
<v Speaker 1>I guess an X. I don't want to get in
<v Speaker 1>any trouble with the legal department. In WWA. We have
<v Speaker 1>a scaffold match, one of the most dangerous matches ever created.
<v Speaker 1>I am afraid of heights, so I certainly do not
<v Speaker 1>want to take part in a scaffold match. But someone's
<v Speaker 1>got to go up there. It's gonna be the Golden Boy,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be QB one. Cody Rhodes, get your ass
<v Speaker 1>up there, son, You're going up on the scaffol What
<v Speaker 1>a summer slim main Eve and that would have been
<v Speaker 1>Cody Roads against CM Punk in a scaffold match. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>let's put forty eight year old CM Punk up on
<v Speaker 1>a scaffold twenty five feet in the air. That'll end well.
<v Speaker 1>Cody Roads against Mark Henry in a scaffold match. I
<v Speaker 1>have to give that the belt. I have to see this,
<v Speaker 1>like I have to see this. Is there a scaffold
<v Speaker 1>that will be able to hold Mark Henry and Cody Rhoads.
<v Speaker 1>Can you just imagine the visual of Mark Henry up
<v Speaker 1>on the scaffold. I can't even picture it. I can't
<v Speaker 1>even picture it, but I'm sure the day after, if
<v Speaker 1>he survives it, he'll give everybody the full report on
<v Speaker 1>Busted Open Radio or WWE Radios. Were some very interesting
<v Speaker 1>combinations there, but my favorite there is New Day and
<v Speaker 1>Young Bucks. I think be the Booker knows for sure
<v Speaker 1>an impact entertainment. I was at tonight's show, thought it
<v Speaker 1>was okay except the Dan Housen stuff. But yes, this
<v Speaker 1>show could be way better. Yes it can, and that
<v Speaker 1>is the frustrating part about it. It can be a
<v Speaker 1>lot better. Henry ain't going up there, and no one
<v Speaker 1>is going to make him. I'm certainly not going to
<v Speaker 1>make him. He doesn't want to go up there, he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have to go up there. I'm not going to
<v Speaker 1>be the one to force him. Brian Zane reviewed the
<v Speaker 1>December twenty eight, two thousand and nine raw on his
<v Speaker 1>Page Today, which featured Cody Rhodes against Mark Henry Wow,
<v Speaker 1>who said that before that'd be the Booker knows. I
<v Speaker 1>think it's self aware. I think everyone's talking about AI
<v Speaker 1>and how quickly AI is advancing. I think be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker has over the years, it has learned. It has
<v Speaker 1>learned from all of these different combinations that we have
<v Speaker 1>put together, and it's it's a lot more self aware,
<v Speaker 1>I think than we may think. And Navy forty one
<v Speaker 1>eighty one. I hope the Dark Side of the Ring
<v Speaker 1>episode on boss Man has a reenactment of Cornet falling
<v Speaker 1>off the scaffold. That would be the icing on the
<v Speaker 1>cake for your next review. I don't know if they
<v Speaker 1>would do that to Cornet because he, you know, he's
<v Speaker 1>usual and probably will be in that episode. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know how he would feel about that being reenacted. They
<v Speaker 1>may not want to piss him off, or maybe he'd
<v Speaker 1>be okay with it. I don't know. I want to
<v Speaker 1>play nice with Cornette though, because he's one of the
<v Speaker 1>talking heads on these shows. They have a good relationship,
<v Speaker 1>a good rapport with him. I know that's not one
<v Speaker 1>of his finer moments. Am I sure that Triple H
<v Speaker 1>doesn't just use be the booker every week? He might?
<v Speaker 1>He very well might. I don't know. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what they're doing in that room, Aaron, what older or
<v Speaker 1>retired wrestler would be a good manager? I mean so many,
<v Speaker 1>so many to choose from. Retired wrestler would be a
<v Speaker 1>good manager. Look, I mean someone like Aj Styles could
<v Speaker 1>be a good manager. You know, he's got a good
<v Speaker 1>mind for the business. And you know, maybe Aj There's
<v Speaker 1>there's probably a lot of about there that you can
<v Speaker 1>choose from. Do you have a favorite one in mind
<v Speaker 1>that you would like to share? Because, like I said,
<v Speaker 1>we could use a really good manager in WW so
<v Speaker 1>that not everybody has to become a Paul Hayman.
<v Speaker 3>Guy Zizo says, I hadn't thought about that.
<v Speaker 1>Actually, him managing Tiffany Stratton would be hilarious. Sgt. Slaughter, Yeah, good,
<v Speaker 1>old Sgt. Maybe you get him at a retirement. I'll
<v Speaker 1>never get over that, oh Man, anyway, you guys have
<v Speaker 1>made this night far more entertaining than Monday Night row was.
<v Speaker 1>I can promise you that tomorrow there will be a
<v Speaker 1>brand new installment of The Uncrowned Wrestling Show dropping later
<v Speaker 1>in the day. I'll get that done in the morning,
<v Speaker 1>and then tomorrow night we have a brand new live
<v Speaker 1>installment of Tuesday Night Titans over on JD's channel. So
<v Speaker 1>you guys know where to go for that, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure there will be much to discuss. Go back and
<v Speaker 1>check out episode nine seventy three of the SoundOff if
<v Speaker 1>you missed. It covered a lot of ground on that show,
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam predictions, dark side of the ring thoughts, the
<v Speaker 1>Vince mcmanchanel grant stuff. There was some Global Force Gold
<v Speaker 1>audio that I included at the beginning of the episode,
<v Speaker 1>some lost media. I think we'll get a kick out
<v Speaker 1>of that. Kurt Angle Kurd Angle for Chad Gable. Kurt
<v Speaker 1>Angle is a manager. I see I look at him.
<v Speaker 1>He would be more of like a coach more than
<v Speaker 1>like your traditional wrestling manager. He could be like Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gables coach. I don't know that he would want to
<v Speaker 1>do to travel though, that's a whole other Ball of Ax.
<v Speaker 1>Tully Blanchard was a good manager yea when they had
<v Speaker 1>him with FTR. Sure, who can forget about Armed Anderson?
<v Speaker 1>Can't forget about that? Hopefully that video resurfaces. Well, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't have the video, but I did reproduce the
<v Speaker 1>audio for you, So that's at the very beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the latest sound off if you want to go back
<v Speaker 1>and check that out. All right, guys, thank you again
<v Speaker 1>for ninety three thousand here on the channel. Onward to
<v Speaker 1>ninety four. Hit that like button on your way out.

<v Speaker 1>your night. Thank you for hanging out with me, and
