<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katie and Josh makes one hundred. I do want
<v Speaker 1>to let you know that today is National Milk Chocolate Day,
<v Speaker 1>not to be confused with National Chocolate Milk Day, which
<v Speaker 1>is on September twenty seventh, but it's National Milk Chocolate
<v Speaker 1>Day today.
<v Speaker 2>You like milk chocolate? I do. Also, I'm starting.
<v Speaker 3>To get uh, I like dark chocolate. No, dark chocolate's
<v Speaker 3>tending to be my favorite lately, and I always grew
<v Speaker 3>up loving milk chocolate.
<v Speaker 4>Go for the dark, Josh, there's a turning point and
<v Speaker 4>everybody's lives.
<v Speaker 2>You watch birds and you like dark dark chocolate.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, well the flavors.
<v Speaker 3>Just like the well yeah, and especially like because the
<v Speaker 3>milk chocolate is so much sugar, a lot of sugar,
<v Speaker 3>Like when you try and stay away from sugar, when
<v Speaker 3>you have sugar.
<v Speaker 4>It's a turning point. Well, it's just you. You grow
<v Speaker 4>up and you mature.
<v Speaker 1>Do you mature into a higher quality then running around
<v Speaker 1>with your Cadbury Easter Bunny?
<v Speaker 4>You know you're like, I'll take the dog chocolate.
<v Speaker 3>Well, I can see that you just like chocolate in general.
<v Speaker 4>What you had never mind, eggs are so okay. So
<v Speaker 4>there's a new studio too. Finding that men.
<v Speaker 1>Uh, if you're out there doing your getting your lift
<v Speaker 1>on today, bro there, you can lift heavier and longer
<v Speaker 1>if you are sniffing dark chocolate in between your sets.
<v Speaker 4>It will give you a boost.
<v Speaker 1>Guys who sniffed dark chocolate in between their reps completed
<v Speaker 1>about eighteen more reps than they did when just smelling
<v Speaker 1>like plain water, so they were able to get Ooh,
<v Speaker 1>they're bulkne by smelling chocolate, which is weird to me
<v Speaker 1>that you'd be standing in the gym trying to work
<v Speaker 1>out and you got a chocolate bar next to you
<v Speaker 1>and you're huffing it in between sets.
<v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, it's totally weird, Like that's not the way
<v Speaker 3>I thought you were going to go with that story.
<v Speaker 1>And now you're smelling it and the chocolate's like getting
<v Speaker 1>all meltsey on your fingers, and then you got brown
<v Speaker 1>all over your fingers and you're grabbing the freeways.
<v Speaker 3>Get the freeways, yeah, and then you drop them because
<v Speaker 3>all the chocolate on your head.
<v Speaker 1>You probably got a white towel, and then your brown
<v Speaker 1>fingers are all over the white towel and people are
<v Speaker 1>looking at you like this guy might have a problem.
<v Speaker 2>How are you gonna pick up any chicks, Homi.
<v Speaker 4>I swear it chocolate. I promise you it's just chocolate.
<v Speaker 2>But I'm doing more reds than ever.
<v Speaker 4>Everything is so brown. But I promise you it's just chocolate.
<v Speaker 4>You're like licking. I swear to you. I haven't been
<v Speaker 4>eating lettuce. I promise. Let's rap about our children really quick.
<v Speaker 1>I do have a quick story about my son who
<v Speaker 1>went out with a buddy last night.
<v Speaker 4>They disappeared on their bikes. I don't even know where
<v Speaker 4>they were.
<v Speaker 1>But about an hour later, I got a FaceTime thing
<v Speaker 1>pop up on my phone, you know, a call, FaceTime call.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, hey, where are you?
<v Speaker 1>And he's like, well, we're done at so and so's house.
<v Speaker 1>Little We'll call him Eddie. We're at Eddie's house and
<v Speaker 1>Eddie is known for collecting things around the neighborhood. He'll
<v Speaker 1>get into dumpsters and grab stuff out. Okay, he'll come
<v Speaker 1>to my house and if I've got stuff out by
<v Speaker 1>the trash, he takes it back home. So Eddie noticed
<v Speaker 1>that his neighbor down the street had about fifteen air
<v Speaker 1>mattresses out on the curb that said free.
<v Speaker 4>So there was like, I know right, o Hee was
<v Speaker 4>a camp they used to camp and stuff.
<v Speaker 1>So there was at that point like five boys or
<v Speaker 1>something at the house.
<v Speaker 4>So they all went and.
<v Speaker 1>Took the free air mattresses blew them up, and then
<v Speaker 1>poor Eddie's family had about fifteen air mattresses laying all
<v Speaker 1>around their front lawn. And then they found another house
<v Speaker 1>with like a coffee table that was free, so they
<v Speaker 1>took the coffee table and took the legs off of it,
<v Speaker 1>and so they just had the flat top there of
<v Speaker 1>the coffee table, which they proceeded to put on like
<v Speaker 1>re skateboards. And then they took one of the giant
<v Speaker 1>air mattresses and bungie that under the skateboards and the
<v Speaker 1>coffee table, and they were pushing each other around the
<v Speaker 1>neighborhood on it.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, that's brilliant, He's like, dad, check this outle what
<v Speaker 4>we're doing.
<v Speaker 1>That's just that a guy like it was like a
<v Speaker 1>king size air mattress and they're just getting there pushing
<v Speaker 1>it down the street.
<v Speaker 4>And I was so happy about it.
<v Speaker 2>They're playing outside.
<v Speaker 4>I got off the phone and I looked at Nicole.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, this is what life is supposed to
<v Speaker 4>be like. As a young boy. I was I am
<v Speaker 4>so happy about this right now.
<v Speaker 1>That they're out jacking around, causing trouble, picking up free
<v Speaker 1>things and pushing each other around on skateboards and air mattresses.
<v Speaker 3>Right now, it's funny the things that make us proud
<v Speaker 3>as parents, isn't it.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, this is old school, like nineties fun here.
<v Speaker 4>There's not a tablet in sight.
<v Speaker 2>And youtivity just everywhere. It makes me proud too. It's
<v Speaker 2>not even my kid.
<v Speaker 4>It was so crazy.
<v Speaker 1>And then they like built forts and stuff with the
<v Speaker 1>other air mattresses and they were throwing each other and stuff.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, this is awesome them.
<v Speaker 1>I just feel bad for Eddie's parents. I've seen pictures
<v Speaker 1>of their garage and there's it's just it's just trash
<v Speaker 1>and junk that this kid collects.
<v Speaker 3>And they're probably thinking the same thing though. You know what,
<v Speaker 3>Eddie's outside a lot. Eddie used his imagination.
<v Speaker 2>He may be a horder as he gets older, but
<v Speaker 2>it's fine.
<v Speaker 1>There was one night I wandered out into the garage
<v Speaker 1>because the camera went off in the garage and him
<v Speaker 1>and Eddie were out there, and the tailgate was down
<v Speaker 1>on my truck and I was.
<v Speaker 4>Like, what are they doing to my truck? Oh?
<v Speaker 1>And I went out there and they had found like
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of old clocks and various electronics and stuff
<v Speaker 1>out of dumpsters and they were taking them apart to
<v Speaker 1>see how they worked on the inside and trying to rebuild.
<v Speaker 4>Them and do other things. I was like, okay, that's
<v Speaker 4>just don't burn the house down. That's so early two
<v Speaker 4>thousands fun it is. I love that really good.
<v Speaker 3>And it's so funny. My kidd was also making me
<v Speaker 3>proud in a different way. But so her birthday's coming
<v Speaker 3>up on Monday, right, yeah, and she's in her you know,
<v Speaker 3>young twenties. So at that point you go out party, right,
<v Speaker 3>that's what you do at their stage. But this new generation,
<v Speaker 3>they're not really doing that. They're not partying like we did.
<v Speaker 3>They're not going out and wilding out with their friends.
<v Speaker 4>I just saw a static.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the alcohol industry is down like eight hundred billion
<v Speaker 1>dollars because kids aren't drinking and having fun anymore.
<v Speaker 3>They're not making those dumb decisions that we made in
<v Speaker 3>our young twenties. And in fact, this blew my mind.
<v Speaker 3>You know what kind of parties always wants to have
<v Speaker 3>for this next one in her young twenties.
<v Speaker 2>What is it a crochet party?
<v Speaker 1>Oh lord, no, oh lord, no, she's gotten too far.
<v Speaker 3>Not even just like crochet, but like crafts in general.
<v Speaker 2>And apparently this is a thing.
<v Speaker 3>Can go to a place and all of your friends
<v Speaker 3>can come and get like a thing a yarn, and
<v Speaker 3>they have crocheting classes and so they'll teach you how
<v Speaker 3>to crochet, and then they'll give you something that you
<v Speaker 3>can make. And within this hour, can you have drinks
<v Speaker 3>and nibblies and stuff?
<v Speaker 2>Right like you've got stuff.
<v Speaker 4>This is an event where you want to get tanged.
<v Speaker 1>I want to see people get wasted and see what
<v Speaker 1>they come.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, like a lopsided turtle.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, a thong crochet. Well that's an idea, so hot idea.
<v Speaker 2>But there are places around us that do this already.
<v Speaker 3>So I was looking up and Colorful Yarns is a
<v Speaker 3>spot where you can host regular crochet Are you getting
<v Speaker 3>paid classes? The Denver craft Michaels.
<v Speaker 2>You can have a party, Michaels.
<v Speaker 3>Nobody's paying me, but you can have up to eight
<v Speaker 3>guest set Michael's and pay one hundred and fifty dollars
<v Speaker 3>and they will supply all the.
<v Speaker 2>Yarn things do they bring there? Do you have to
<v Speaker 2>bring you to bring your ownible?
<v Speaker 4>What do you get from hundreds if you get the yarn.
<v Speaker 3>In the crochet and then the knitting class, like they're
<v Speaker 3>teaching you how.
<v Speaker 4>To do this, Grandma teaches it, they're.
<v Speaker 2>Teaching a class.
<v Speaker 3>I just thought this was genius because the thing is
<v Speaker 3>is you know baby no, no, she was having a
<v Speaker 3>little anxiety about like parties and stuff because it's not
<v Speaker 3>really her thing, Like she doesn't like to go out
<v Speaker 3>and get tanked and just like get peoples people.
<v Speaker 4>She just like she's got a serious boyfriend. There's not
<v Speaker 4>like when you have that, you don't feel the need
<v Speaker 4>to go crazy whatever. And I were dating, we were
<v Speaker 4>tearing it up. We weren't worried about.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah exactly. But I love that again.
<v Speaker 3>It's just another one of those things that makes me
<v Speaker 3>proud as a current, right, Like you want to go
<v Speaker 3>out and create something versus going out and tearing things
<v Speaker 3>down while you're all liquored up, Like there's a.
<v Speaker 4>Need some air mattresses and skateboarder.
<v Speaker 2>Creating something they still have, Like.
<v Speaker 3>Is anybody all of her friends are about that?
<v Speaker 4>I feel sorry for her.
<v Speaker 3>Even her guy friends are like this sounds like fun,
<v Speaker 3>Like okay, like that, you know they really love her
<v Speaker 3>and they're there to support her.
<v Speaker 1>And maybe that's all those guys are like talking to
<v Speaker 1>their buddies. Dude, you're but I get to go hells.
<v Speaker 3>But I mean, truly, it's mostly girls. I'm just you
<v Speaker 3>could absolutely come.
<v Speaker 2>I'm so nice. You haven't got the invite this weekend?
<v Speaker 2>Our next weekend.
<v Speaker 4>Is there a pattern to a big middle finger?
<v Speaker 2>And you know what, if there is, I'm sure you'll
<v Speaker 2>find it.
<v Speaker 4>Jeremy, babe, Na.
<v Speaker 1>Baby, well, bless her little anxiety riddled heart.
<v Speaker 4>Sounds like a good time.
<v Speaker 2>I love it.
<v Speaker 1>I got a couple stories this morning, all about our
<v Speaker 1>incredible seniors.
<v Speaker 4>How about this.
<v Speaker 1>There's a seventy one year old grandma and she had
<v Speaker 1>to jump into a river to rescue a man half
<v Speaker 1>her age, despite only learning to swim after she retired,
<v Speaker 1>so she had not really learned to swim in her youth.
<v Speaker 4>She waited until way later in life to learn how
<v Speaker 4>to swim.
<v Speaker 1>And she was standed by this river and she heard
<v Speaker 1>this guy screaming for help, and without hesitation, she entered
<v Speaker 1>the river using a life preserver to reach the man
<v Speaker 1>who resisted help.
<v Speaker 4>Actually, which is kind of weird.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if he was like, no, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>I don't you know, I don't want to harm you,
<v Speaker 1>or I don't want to bring you under because you're
<v Speaker 1>a little old lady. Anyway, she ended up overpowering the
<v Speaker 1>guy and pulled him to shore. She admitted she was exhausted,
<v Speaker 1>and her quote was, it was not a big deal
<v Speaker 1>for me. I did not tell my family for the
<v Speaker 1>fear that they would worry about me. But there is
<v Speaker 1>some surveillance footage and she was identified, and then her
<v Speaker 1>brother recognized her, and then he scolded her.
<v Speaker 4>She said, you do.
<v Speaker 1>The video went viral of this little old lady wading
<v Speaker 1>into the water to save a man who is getting
<v Speaker 1>pulled downstream.
<v Speaker 5>Oh.
<v Speaker 4>I love that.
<v Speaker 2>She didn't brag about it either.
<v Speaker 3>So many people just like immediately post their good doings
<v Speaker 3>and she's like, no, it's fine, I say it.
<v Speaker 4>Well, she immediately died. She sadly passed away. Stop it.
<v Speaker 2>I went under that water and I got him, and
<v Speaker 2>it was cold.
<v Speaker 5>He was strong, but I how powered him, bunched him
<v Speaker 5>right in the face, and I took him back to
<v Speaker 5>the show. I said, sure, you need to learn how
<v Speaker 5>to swim, so I can't be doing this all the time.
<v Speaker 4>I'm shaving you one years old.
<v Speaker 2>You should say thank you. I can't get in the
<v Speaker 2>water like these all the time.
<v Speaker 4>Shirt. You just need to be more responsible. And then
<v Speaker 4>I died stop and then how about this? I love
<v Speaker 4>the name.
<v Speaker 1>Kermit and Betty of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, recently marked their
<v Speaker 1>eightieth wedding anniversary surrounded by family at their daughter's home.
<v Speaker 1>They are both ninety nine years old. They share two children,
<v Speaker 1>five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
<v Speaker 1>Relationship began as teenagers living across the street from each other.
<v Speaker 1>Kermit enlisted in the Navy during World War Two.
<v Speaker 4>I think the Navy.
<v Speaker 1>He did survive a Kamakazi strike and uh they got
<v Speaker 1>married afterwards.
<v Speaker 4>The story goes on and on and on and on
<v Speaker 4>and on.
<v Speaker 1>Anyway, they did reach out to Kermit and his actual
<v Speaker 1>quote is we still love each other.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, we still loving each other. A Miss Babby,
<v Speaker 4>Miss Babby, I love you.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Can you imagine being with the same person for eighty years? No? No,
<v Speaker 4>I would love to pick their brains though those are
<v Speaker 4>people that you just want to sit down and talk
<v Speaker 4>with them because the stories that they can tell tell
<v Speaker 4>me secret.
<v Speaker 5>Why because they'll be like, what, oh, come on, I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 5>what did you say.
<v Speaker 1>They're tarting to pick their brains, sir, I don't care
<v Speaker 1>for the rain.
<v Speaker 4>How long have you been married? Not not that Harry.
<v Speaker 4>I'm not picking their brain at all. You're crazy, Josh
