<v Speaker 1>Jerry Katy and Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Well, it sounds like Josh had a wild night at
<v Speaker 2>the gym last night.
<v Speaker 3>Oh dude, I have never experienced this before. So I've
<v Speaker 3>been a member with VASA and I love it. They're great.
<v Speaker 3>They do like a month to month thing, and I
<v Speaker 3>was actually one of the first members to sign up
<v Speaker 3>at the gym when it started in my area. So
<v Speaker 3>I've had like the flat rate of like ten ninety
<v Speaker 3>nine for years now. Nice, fantastic, Absolutely love it, but
<v Speaker 3>they have, you know, the people that work there, and
<v Speaker 3>they always try to get you to maybe up your
<v Speaker 3>membership or try to do like the VIP gold or whatever.
<v Speaker 3>So I'm doing just the free weights yesterday, and as
<v Speaker 3>that's going on, one of the team members approaches me.
<v Speaker 3>And I'm still thinking about it because I don't think
<v Speaker 3>this dude actually complimented me, but I think they always
<v Speaker 3>have like these words or phrases to try to make
<v Speaker 3>you feel better about yourself. And I'm doing the free
<v Speaker 3>weights and I'm doing thirty pound curls, okay, so it's
<v Speaker 3>not like anything like super super hard or whatever, but
<v Speaker 3>I'm just doing I'm getting from my reps in and
<v Speaker 3>he looks at me and he goes, dude, that's a
<v Speaker 3>lot of wait for your stature.
<v Speaker 4>And I was like, first of all, sir, what's okay?
<v Speaker 1>Just say the four year stature part was completely unnecessary.
<v Speaker 3>Completely backhanded. And also it's not like it's my first
<v Speaker 3>time at a gym ever. I'm like, what are you
<v Speaker 3>talking about, sir. And then after that, he was talking
<v Speaker 3>to me and trying and I had my headphones, well
<v Speaker 3>one headphone in. I took one out to talk to him,
<v Speaker 3>but I have a headphone in. I got music going,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm like half listening to this dude give me
<v Speaker 3>a spiel about the Vasa VIP.
<v Speaker 4>That's what I was hearing.
<v Speaker 5>It was he works there, and he said that to you.
<v Speaker 4>First of all, yes, this is a team member. He
<v Speaker 4>works there.
<v Speaker 3>And then he's trying to get me to sign up
<v Speaker 3>for He's like, it was the the whole thing was
<v Speaker 3>essentially for five dollars more, we can do this whole thing.
<v Speaker 3>And I was half listening YadA YadA whatever, and I'm
<v Speaker 3>saying no this whole time. But I feel like he's trying,
<v Speaker 3>I called it, trying to get me to like sign
<v Speaker 3>up for the Cult of like working out and all
<v Speaker 3>this stuff, and I don't know if he actually signed me.
<v Speaker 3>Like he did not take no for an answer, so
<v Speaker 3>I don't know if he actually signed me up. I'm
<v Speaker 3>waiting for an email being like, hey, you've been signed
<v Speaker 3>up for VIP here we go wow. And I'm like,
<v Speaker 3>I said no like fifteen times, like oh, you know,
<v Speaker 3>like maybe I'm not really interested, not really thank you.
<v Speaker 4>Please go away and please go away.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, And he would not take no for an answer,
<v Speaker 3>So I'm just waiting to see that I actually am
<v Speaker 3>signed up for my free three month trial?
<v Speaker 4>Was his foot to deal with it? I have no idea.
<v Speaker 3>I wasn't listening genuinely, I have no idea the extra
<v Speaker 3>anything that I get with it.
<v Speaker 4>He just kept using those phrases like oh.
<v Speaker 3>Vip pipy, and I'm like, I'm sure that works for
<v Speaker 3>some people, but dude, I just want to I just
<v Speaker 3>want to use my thirties, which you said was good
<v Speaker 3>for my stature, so thank you very much, and I
<v Speaker 3>just want to get out of here.
<v Speaker 5>I think you just get backhead.
<v Speaker 3>I think I think it, yeah, I think in three
<v Speaker 3>I think it's also you get like, uh, the red
<v Speaker 3>light therapy that they have there, and the the what
<v Speaker 3>they get's like a little tenth thing. Have you ever
<v Speaker 3>heard of that? The red light sauna what they talk about.
<v Speaker 3>There's extra things that you can do there that like
<v Speaker 3>it's like the gold membership or whatever. So I'm just
<v Speaker 3>waiting to see my credit card statement coming on.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, well yeah, I like it.
<v Speaker 2>And I know you can't say no.
<v Speaker 5>So that's it. It's so hard.
<v Speaker 2>I can't say no. That's why while you both ended
<v Speaker 2>up in the locker room making out.
<v Speaker 4>Well, yeah that was a different store.
<v Speaker 2>I can't say no. Yeah. One of the member benefits
<v Speaker 2>there was real quick, a big old shout out to
<v Speaker 2>water World, who just came in at the fifth best
<v Speaker 2>water park in all of America. Oh, very nice, splish splash,
<v Speaker 2>congratulations to water World.

<v Speaker 5>Hello, can I write a check for these?
<v Speaker 2>But that's kind of exciting. It makes it affordable if
<v Speaker 2>you can get in to go see a little hut
<v Speaker 2>hut Omaha action.
<v Speaker 4>Twenty three bucks yep.
<v Speaker 3>NFL tickets are astronomical now, and it's rightfully so, just
<v Speaker 3>because of you know, the product they put on the field.
<v Speaker 4>But twenty three bucks to go see the Broncos, I.
<v Speaker 5>Mean, yeah, I like that.
<v Speaker 2>If you can get in. I bet your knickknacks going
<v Speaker 2>to be on there. Today's a big that be. He's
<v Speaker 2>a big sports wall fan. So we shall see other
<v Speaker 2>big news with the Broncos today too, right.
<v Speaker 3>Well, yeah, keeping up with that, the Broncos are starting
<v Speaker 3>training camp officially today, which is so exciting. The first
<v Speaker 3>public training camp that you can go watch for free,
<v Speaker 3>by the way, starts July thirty first.
<v Speaker 4>However, in football terms, I'm gonna call an.
<v Speaker 3>Audible here jar because I just read this headline that
<v Speaker 3>came out about four hours ago.
<v Speaker 4>We need to talk about this.
<v Speaker 3>A hiker walks ten miles down Montana's tallest mountain after
<v Speaker 3>accidentally impaling himself on a pole.
<v Speaker 4>What all, To avoid a.
<v Speaker 3>Costly helicopter evacuation, I had to do a little bit
<v Speaker 3>more research. The thirty two year old er nurse named
<v Speaker 3>David Cafaldi was day hiking the tallest mountain in Montana
<v Speaker 3>with his boys. He accidentally slipped on a rock near
<v Speaker 3>the top of the mountain and impaled himself on his
<v Speaker 3>own trekking pole and it went clean through his lat
<v Speaker 3>So we're talking right side lat okay, with about eight
<v Speaker 3>inches sticking out both side of his body. Now he
<v Speaker 3>is a nurse, so his nurse brain kicks in immediately
<v Speaker 3>he checks himself.
<v Speaker 4>He realizes that nothing vital is hit.
<v Speaker 3>He thinks he can still breathe fine fast, so he says,
<v Speaker 3>you know what, screw that helicopter Bill, I'm gonna just
<v Speaker 3>start hiking down.
<v Speaker 4>He tracks ten miles.
<v Speaker 3>It takes six hours, as friends are spotting him on
<v Speaker 3>the walkie talkie and a camera even via satellite to
<v Speaker 3>make sure that he's okay. His kids even run ahead
<v Speaker 3>to make sure the families and other kids don't see
<v Speaker 3>the gnarly pole sticking.
<v Speaker 4>Out of his body. There.
<v Speaker 2>Hold on, no, it gets better, put that gnarly pole away.
<v Speaker 3>After about calls left, he realizes, Hey, I'm actually gonna
<v Speaker 3>make this. He starts making his own kebab jokes on
<v Speaker 3>the radio.
<v Speaker 4>This is totally jar.
<v Speaker 3>He walks himself down, makes it to the hospital and
<v Speaker 3>is able to get back and get the poll.
<v Speaker 4>Hold on, hold on, look at the picture, My god,
<v Speaker 4>there's more. Look at this picture.
<v Speaker 2>That'll get you.
<v Speaker 1>No supers, Jeremy's head off that picture because I envision.
<v Speaker 5>You walking down the trail, me on the bar.
<v Speaker 4>This is you're making. This is serious.
<v Speaker 2>This is incredible feat incredible feet. Well, congratulations to that
<v Speaker 2>guy in his poll. Done some awesome action right there.
<v Speaker 5>Really, we've got receipts, We've got drummer, we've got Denver
<v Speaker 5>talking it's.
<v Speaker 1>The mile High like with JKJ Legends and Icon on
<v Speaker 1>Mix one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Well, there's a list out this morning about Netflix and
<v Speaker 2>the most streamed shows on there. Hey, pop Demon, Sorry moms,
<v Speaker 2>what you know that's been on in your house about
<v Speaker 2>eight million times? The number one most watch show on Netflix.
<v Speaker 5>They're like, no, don't say it three times in the mirror.
<v Speaker 2>Yeahn't do it, Bloody May's. It's approaching seven hundred million views,
<v Speaker 2>so it lit'll hit a billion.
<v Speaker 4>I bet eventually.
<v Speaker 5>Wow, what is it?
<v Speaker 4>Wow?
<v Speaker 5>I've seen that movie. I saw it when it first
<v Speaker 5>came out.
<v Speaker 1>Part of it, like when it was like really hyped
<v Speaker 1>up and it was new, and I was like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>this is such a cute little movie for kids. And
<v Speaker 1>then it overtook our whole lives, like Baked.
<v Speaker 2>Working at a radio station where we played Golden all
<v Speaker 2>every day, all day.
<v Speaker 4>I know.
<v Speaker 1>Finally it moved into a subpark category to where we.
<v Speaker 2>Don't hear it is just like that movie subpar.
<v Speaker 4>It was fine. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>My daughter really got into it. She dressed up as
<v Speaker 2>one of the characters for Halloween.
<v Speaker 5>And kids loved it.
<v Speaker 1>I liked for the females, you know, the little girls,
<v Speaker 1>so they were able to look up to those you know.
<v Speaker 4>It was good.
<v Speaker 5>It was all the movie, but for it to yeah, I.
<v Speaker 1>Have twenty four to seven, control of your TV or
<v Speaker 1>any you know.
<v Speaker 5>Thing you're streaming on like now.
<v Speaker 2>The second one I can get on board with it
<v Speaker 2>was the Super Mario Brothers movie.
<v Speaker 5>But again not one that you saw twenty four to seven,
<v Speaker 5>and that was.
<v Speaker 2>Like less than half two hundred and seventy one million
<v Speaker 2>views compared to the almost seven hundred on K pop.
<v Speaker 2>Boss Baby came in third Minions and then Leo.
<v Speaker 1>I'm trying to remember which one Leo, Which the one
<v Speaker 1>about the the basketball player?
<v Speaker 5>Right, is this Steph Curry the Leo one, the Goat?
<v Speaker 2>It could be coat, I don't know, goat.
<v Speaker 5>They should just.
<v Speaker 4>Name it the goat. It looks like a lizard.
<v Speaker 5>It's a lizard.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, very similar.
<v Speaker 4>I guess Sandler plays Leo. Does the lizard played basketball?
<v Speaker 5>Oh no, no, no, it's a different movie.
<v Speaker 1>But Leo was the little iguana that Adam Sandler voice,
<v Speaker 1>and he was trying to like teach people like lifeless.
<v Speaker 4>Waiting here, it's basketball, That's what it's belong Beans dreams.
<v Speaker 4>You have many.
<v Speaker 1>Nick cute movie too, that's unworth it. Yeah, I watch
<v Speaker 1>it with the kiddos.
<v Speaker 4>I like it.
<v Speaker 2>That's random children watching movies with Adam Sandler movie. Was
<v Speaker 2>it really your twenty year old daughter?
<v Speaker 5>No, it was me watching it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's concerning.
<v Speaker 5>What do you mean it's Adam Sandler? What children's movie?
<v Speaker 5>Should I watch?
<v Speaker 4>The dating?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so this is un settling. This has been streamed
<v Speaker 2>a lot. There's a six part series on Instagram right now,
<v Speaker 2>so with six different videos showing a woman on a
<v Speaker 2>Carnival cruise scratching her foot fungus with a fork.
<v Speaker 5>I've seen it.
<v Speaker 2>It was filmed secretly by several other guests that were
<v Speaker 2>incredibly grossed out. It has attracted almost thirty million views,
<v Speaker 2>so it's getting up there. Put it on Netflix and
<v Speaker 2>it did force a response from Carnival saying that we
<v Speaker 2>can confirmed that the forks are intended for food, not
<v Speaker 2>foot care. Once we became aware of the situation, our
<v Speaker 2>team quickly addressed it with the guests and removed the
<v Speaker 2>utensils from service. How did they know they got the
<v Speaker 2>right force?
<v Speaker 5>Like we took it out of rotation, it's no longer
<v Speaker 5>in that.
<v Speaker 2>I think they would throw all the forks overboard in
<v Speaker 2>the middle of the Pacific and then buy new force.
<v Speaker 5>You would have to, I mean, how do you know.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway she was going to town with that fork. Videos
<v Speaker 2>stuff has fallen off her feet.
<v Speaker 1>The dryness from that foot is make your stomach lurks.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, if she's gonna do it, I want her to
<v Speaker 2>hold it over my salad like a little parmesan cheese
<v Speaker 2>and shred it over my salad.
<v Speaker 4>And she's gonna do it.
<v Speaker 5>More salt, please make it worth my while.
<v Speaker 2>You know, put a little protein in my salad. Could
<v Speaker 2>you imagine?
<v Speaker 4>Out?
<v Speaker 2>And I got one final thing it is local Golden
<v Speaker 2>officials and volunteers are dealing with a growing amount of
<v Speaker 2>trash along Clear Creek as visitors are crowding the water
<v Speaker 2>right now just to escape the summer heat. There's all
<v Speaker 2>sorts of stuff littering, including tubes full tubes, cans, food packaging,
<v Speaker 2>clothing and other debris being abandoned along the banks. And
<v Speaker 2>then carried downstream.
<v Speaker 5>I hate that.
<v Speaker 2>Uh so the public is outraged down there in Golden
<v Speaker 2>and I'm a little irritated by this as well.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, the.
<v Speaker 2>Cleanup is not free. I mean they're gonna have to
<v Speaker 2>hire people to get this all clean up, and then it.
<v Speaker 5>Goes into nature. I hate it.
<v Speaker 2>Like you don't want a little beaver with an inner
<v Speaker 2>tube around him that is.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that sounds but like that is one of
<v Speaker 1>the biggest rules of hiking.
<v Speaker 5>You pack out what you packed in, pack it in,
<v Speaker 5>pag it out anything where you're going.
<v Speaker 1>And the fact that people are just so casually leaving
<v Speaker 1>water bottles and like clothes, like.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, probably just bailing out on probably tubes that are
<v Speaker 2>ripped up or something.
<v Speaker 5>Do that.
<v Speaker 2>That ain't right.
<v Speaker 5>We don't like that.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, we can be parents all day and waggle
<v Speaker 2>our finger they're still gonna do it.
<v Speaker 4>But just come on, well, let's get cry.
<v Speaker 5>We don't like that. We don't like that people are
<v Speaker 5>doing that.
<v Speaker 2>We need to have a designated people along the creek
<v Speaker 2>there with tasers that tas those people.
<v Speaker 5>Do you want to volunteer for that? That's a jeremy job.
<v Speaker 2>I kind of do I like that.
<v Speaker 5>I do like that a lot.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, let's tas those sobs.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, what else is going on locally?
<v Speaker 1>Hey, We've got some fun stories for you, like the
<v Speaker 1>first ever Fat Marmot Week.
<v Speaker 5>Whoa sound fun? So it's a bracket and everything.
<v Speaker 1>It's very similar to the Fat Bear Week at that
<v Speaker 1>National Park and Preserve that they do that at you
<v Speaker 1>know where you vote for your favorite fat bear and
<v Speaker 1>it's like a bracket and they advance to the next
<v Speaker 1>round of the bracket based on the public's votes and everything.
<v Speaker 1>That's what they're gonna do with the first ever Fat
<v Speaker 1>Marmot Week. It's happening in August twenty fourth through the
<v Speaker 1>twenty ninth, and it's the scientists in a gothic Colorado.
<v Speaker 1>That's where this is taking place, if you're familiar. But
<v Speaker 1>they're inviting the public to vote for their favorite marmot.
<v Speaker 2>To the marmot's dress and I don't think so. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>mascara on no, no, Marilyn Manson T shirts on why gothic?
<v Speaker 2>Oh gothic?
<v Speaker 1>Now, I get it, get it now, I get the
<v Speaker 1>gothic marmot. He tells you all about his feelings.
<v Speaker 5>Black Bag Night will be the night that I will
<v Speaker 5>fall for you.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, like that's what.
<v Speaker 2>The marmots they walk around like, don't talk to.
<v Speaker 1>Me, yeah exactly, and then it grows out of it
<v Speaker 1>because it was just a fake.
<v Speaker 5>It was totally just a fake collar on you know. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>I want to vote for that marmot.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah collar Okay.
<v Speaker 1>August twenty fourth is when we can start. I can't wait,
<v Speaker 1>Like first ever fat marmots, which fun for you, joked, Okay.
<v Speaker 1>And then so the water levels right out at Green
<v Speaker 1>Mountain Reservoir they have revealed now, as you everyone knows,
<v Speaker 1>we are in a crazy drought here in the state
<v Speaker 1>of Colorado and it's starting to reveal things underneath the waters.
<v Speaker 5>I was like, oh, that's where that went.
<v Speaker 1>So an ATV that has been missing for five years,
<v Speaker 1>they found it.
<v Speaker 5>Found they found it at.
<v Speaker 1>The Green Mountain Reservoir. Again, it is at twenty three
<v Speaker 1>percent capacity due to the current drought. So the lost
<v Speaker 1>ATV just kind of revealed itself there. The people who
<v Speaker 1>are in charge of the park, they got a hold
<v Speaker 1>of the owner and everything, and they're like, okay, so
<v Speaker 1>we found this.
<v Speaker 5>There's also a.
<v Speaker 1>Lot of other things that they're expecting to find out
<v Speaker 1>at this reservoir, just no body I know.
<v Speaker 5>Well, that's the thing is a lot.
<v Speaker 1>Of history has passed, a lot of things have happened,
<v Speaker 1>and it's totally plausible that they would find something.
<v Speaker 2>Fun bones.
<v Speaker 1>I worked with somebody out in on the Western Slope
<v Speaker 1>and her I don't know if she ever had to
<v Speaker 1>hide a body, but she was very excited to tell
<v Speaker 1>me the story about how if she would hide a body,
<v Speaker 1>she'd do it in the Ridgeway Reservoir because every year
<v Speaker 1>it would get to like crazy low levels and then
<v Speaker 1>when the snow would melt and.
<v Speaker 5>Fill it, it would fill back up.
<v Speaker 1>And so she's like, by the time I'm like the
<v Speaker 1>water levels would uh, you know, succeed. Like she said,
<v Speaker 1>I could be out of town across the country like Receid.
<v Speaker 1>I could be out of town across the country, like
<v Speaker 1>in a whole nother world.
<v Speaker 2>And I was like, yeah, because you get out there
<v Speaker 2>take a bury it.
<v Speaker 1>She was so proud to tell me about her body
<v Speaker 1>hiding skills. So when this story started popping up, I
<v Speaker 1>was like, same thing. I thought, I wonder if they're
<v Speaker 1>going to find any bodies or just like I should
<v Speaker 1>not laugh that only goodness but yeah, ATV they found
<v Speaker 1>it no problem five years later, and then we do
<v Speaker 1>I doubt it. Man, if it did, that would be
<v Speaker 1>one heck of a commercial for that ATV company. Five
<v Speaker 1>years and two leagues later, still pump it okay.
<v Speaker 5>And then we have an update on the tatar story though.
<v Speaker 1>Yes waiting for Remember we talked about how a nonprofit
<v Speaker 1>found out that forty two thousand pounds of potatoes were
<v Speaker 1>about to be wasted. And these were potatoes that were
<v Speaker 1>grown over the Midwest. If you're not familiar potato farmers,
<v Speaker 1>that's been a weird year for them because they had
<v Speaker 1>like a very high yield and they can't get rid
<v Speaker 1>of all their potatoes. So these forty two pounds of
<v Speaker 1>taters were just going to be thrown away. And this
<v Speaker 1>nonprofit was like, well, we can't have that, can't have
<v Speaker 1>that with those potatoes. So they brought them here into
<v Speaker 1>the Mile High City yesterday and they had this big
<v Speaker 1>thing out in five Points where they're like, we've got
<v Speaker 1>two tons of taters. You bring bags and trucks and
<v Speaker 1>whatever else you need, and you come get as many
<v Speaker 1>potatoes as you need. And they were having this event
<v Speaker 1>from like ten until twelve thirty one, whenever the potatoes,
<v Speaker 1>you know, were all done, and they thought that they'd
<v Speaker 1>have some leftover and they'd have to figure out where
<v Speaker 1>to take that. These potatoes went in ninety minutes. The
<v Speaker 1>community showed up and they were able to save these
<v Speaker 1>taters that we're going to be destroyed.
<v Speaker 4>By God.
<v Speaker 2>Every tater needs a home.
<v Speaker 5>It's such an amazing story.
<v Speaker 1>And you talk to the people who went there to
<v Speaker 1>get those potatoes. It's not just people who don't have food,
<v Speaker 1>people who were in the situationation where they don't have food.
<v Speaker 5>It's you and me.
<v Speaker 1>It's just the regular Everything is so expensive right now,
<v Speaker 1>so if this is one way that you can save money,
<v Speaker 1>that was people's line of thinking yesterday and now, beef man,
<v Speaker 1>I heard people die, know or maybe some veggies in there.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I had a full balanced.
<v Speaker 1>Plate, but no, like people were talking about all the
<v Speaker 1>different potato dishes they were going to make, and I
<v Speaker 1>just was like, what an exciting thing.
<v Speaker 5>People want potato curry. So anyway, there you go. Here's
<v Speaker 5>my high hight
