<v Speaker 1>Dynamite. Tonight was the fallout edition from AW Redemption. We
<v Speaker 1>are now officially on the road to Wembley, and they
<v Speaker 1>were in Detroit. Thought for sure we were gonna get
<v Speaker 1>the MotorCity machine guns on the show Tonight did not
<v Speaker 1>get them. However, Collision is live in the same building
<v Speaker 1>in Detroit tomorrow night. It is a live episode of Collision.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure Carlos Silva is punching air somewhere taking out
<v Speaker 1>a contract on Tony Kahn, even though it is a
<v Speaker 1>Warner Brothers Discovery decision. You know, there's a little show
<v Speaker 1>called SummerSlam this weekend. I'm sure they did not want
<v Speaker 1>to program AW up against SummerSlam. But in any event,
<v Speaker 1>we may get the machine guns. Tomorrow. We'll see what
<v Speaker 1>we did get tonight. Here on the show was a
<v Speaker 1>thirty five minute overrun, What are we doing? What are
<v Speaker 1>we doing? Tony? Thirty five minute overrun for tonight's show,
<v Speaker 1>a show that had John Moxley against Commander. Was it
<v Speaker 1>really necessary to have John Moxley against Commander on a
<v Speaker 1>show that went thirty five minutes overtime? I don't think so.
<v Speaker 1>But in that overrun, we had a face to face
<v Speaker 1>confrontation between the aw World champion Kenny Omega and his challenger,
<v Speaker 1>the number one contender for the title, the heir apparent
<v Speaker 1>to the throne, Will Ospray his friend or I guess
<v Speaker 1>no longer friend. The thing I liked about Dynamite tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and I liked more about the show than I didn't like.
<v Speaker 1>But so many times coming out of these pay per views,
<v Speaker 1>they're missing big names. There's a lot of thrown together matches.
<v Speaker 1>It's missing something, and there were some matches that felt
<v Speaker 1>thrown together tonight as well, But it just feels like
<v Speaker 1>it's missing something. Maybe guys are hurt, keeps them off
<v Speaker 1>the show. All the big guns were basically more or
<v Speaker 1>less there tonight, and so it felt like a bigger
<v Speaker 1>deal than it normally would. We had two different segments
<v Speaker 1>to actually we had three different segments tonight, promo segments
<v Speaker 1>to key up the top matches for all In, which
<v Speaker 1>is still several weeks away, about a month away. Cope
<v Speaker 1>and Christian and the Bucks sit down interview, good start.
<v Speaker 1>Everything was very friendly, no real you know, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>there was a little bit of tension there, but it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't like it got out of hand or anything. I
<v Speaker 1>thought that was good Will o' Nightingale and Mercedes Monette
<v Speaker 1>best thing on the entire show. We'll talk about their
<v Speaker 1>face to face. And then we had this with Omega
<v Speaker 1>and Osprey, who were in the main event of this
<v Speaker 1>upcoming pay per view. I thought the promo work for
<v Speaker 1>those key matches at all In was on point, all
<v Speaker 1>except Kenny Omega. In the closing segment. There were moments
<v Speaker 1>where I was like, Okay, this is all right with Kenny.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of what Omega was saying to me, it
<v Speaker 1>felt very forced. When Ospbury took the microphone and he
<v Speaker 1>sent it home with all the emotion and all the
<v Speaker 1>energy he fired back at Omega on the mic. That
<v Speaker 1>was much better than I felt like what we got
<v Speaker 1>from Kenny. And I've said before Kenny Omega, I don't
<v Speaker 1>look at Kenny Omega as like a great promo. That's
<v Speaker 1>not what Kenny Omega is known for. Kenny Omega is
<v Speaker 1>called the best bout machine, a wrestling god, all of
<v Speaker 1>these nicknames that he's acquired over the years. Best promo
<v Speaker 1>is not one of them. I've said this before. Tonight
<v Speaker 1>was a good example of that. I thought he got
<v Speaker 1>outshined by Osprey in that department. But what we have
<v Speaker 1>now between the two of them is he they were
<v Speaker 1>talking about how they love and respect each other. That's
<v Speaker 1>still there, But now we have two men who came
<v Speaker 1>off tonight as being angry at each other, and they
<v Speaker 1>let each other know how they feel coming out of
<v Speaker 1>what we saw at the end of that main event
<v Speaker 1>on Sunday at Redemption with the plastic bag, and they
<v Speaker 1>were going to try to break Omega's and Osprey and
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if you saw the pay per view, you
<v Speaker 1>saw how everything went down. Now, I wonder what these
<v Speaker 1>next four weeks are gonna look like, in turn or
<v Speaker 1>five weeks in terms of what they're going to do
<v Speaker 1>to keep things interesting between these two. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>But for tonight, I was just glad they were on
<v Speaker 1>the show. I was half expecting that we were gonna
<v Speaker 1>have a a half empty roster tonight. I'm just glad
<v Speaker 1>the key players were in the building. Willow and Mercedes
<v Speaker 1>and Omega and Osprey and Moxley. Right Hangman, Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>Hangman Page, who made his return on Collision a few
<v Speaker 1>weeks ago. If you didn't watch Collision and you only
<v Speaker 1>watch Dynamite, you would never even know that Hangman made
<v Speaker 1>his return a few weeks ago. You would never even know.
<v Speaker 1>But there he was tonight. And he can't compete for
<v Speaker 1>the World Championship obviously, so he's gonna involve himself in
<v Speaker 1>other things. He was involved in the Trio's title aftermath
<v Speaker 1>tonight because we have new trios champions. It is the demand.
<v Speaker 1>Ricochet has a belt here in aaw the Conglomeration are
<v Speaker 1>no longer champions, and Hangman Page came out to make
<v Speaker 1>the safe for the Conglomeration. He's got plenty of other
<v Speaker 1>championships that he could be competing for. I guess we'll
<v Speaker 1>find out where he lands. But even he was on
<v Speaker 1>the show today, so I like that promo work was good.
<v Speaker 1>All the key players were there, androde Maya World both
<v Speaker 1>had their first title defenses coming off their wins at Redemption,
<v Speaker 1>and John Moxley, as I mentioned before, he wrestled Commander
<v Speaker 1>on this show for the Continental title. Moxley in a
<v Speaker 1>promo segment later on though out in the parking lot,
<v Speaker 1>he was going on and on. He was talking about this,
<v Speaker 1>that and the other, and he just kind of threw
<v Speaker 1>it out there, the mention of this continental Cup. It
<v Speaker 1>was like, in passing almost he mentioned that there's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be a Continental Cup. I guess to decide on the
<v Speaker 1>person who will be challenging him for the Continental Championship
<v Speaker 1>at all in and I'm like, come again, the Continental
<v Speaker 1>what no context to it or anything like it was
<v Speaker 1>never mentioned. I'm like, where did this come from? What
<v Speaker 1>is this Continental Cup you speak? I know we have
<v Speaker 1>a Continental Classic at the end of the year. What
<v Speaker 1>is this Continental Cup that you speak of? It sounds
<v Speaker 1>like they're gonna do a tournament. I guess to decide
<v Speaker 1>a number one contender for the Continental Championship. And the
<v Speaker 1>whole thing, to me is just completely ridiculous because every
<v Speaker 1>single week practically, maybe not every week, but it feels
<v Speaker 1>like it. John Moxley is on television defending the Continental
<v Speaker 1>Championship against totally random people. He defended it tonight against Commander,
<v Speaker 1>who was one of six men who did not win. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>he was one of six men. One of them won,
<v Speaker 1>one of five men who did not win in the
<v Speaker 1>ladder match on Sunday to crown a challenger future challenger
<v Speaker 1>for the International title. And so I guess he was
<v Speaker 1>gifted a Continental title match tonight Commander Shane Taylor Bandido.
<v Speaker 1>How are these people being decided on as challengers? But
<v Speaker 1>now we have a Continental Cup. I guess it's special
<v Speaker 1>because it's Wembley and so we're gonna have a tournament.
<v Speaker 1>But I just was like, the way he threw it
<v Speaker 1>out there was so random and it was so like
<v Speaker 1>just off the cuff. I was like, can they at
<v Speaker 1>least explain how this is gonna work. Maybe we'll have
<v Speaker 1>to wait until Collision tomorrow night. At least we know
<v Speaker 1>we're not getting another random challenger. I guess at all
<v Speaker 1>in there'll be some there'll be some semblance of like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>here's how we're actually going to decide this. And as
<v Speaker 1>far as who possibly is going to be, my first
<v Speaker 1>guess would be Hangman. But it's way too early to
<v Speaker 1>know because we don't even know what the fuck the
<v Speaker 1>Continental Cup is. Do you win a cup, maybe you
<v Speaker 1>don't even get a title match, maybe you get a
<v Speaker 1>fucking I don't know, here, here's a cup. You want
<v Speaker 1>to win a cup? I don't know. Hangman can't challenge
<v Speaker 1>for the World Championship. Nobody said he couldn't challenge for
<v Speaker 1>the Continental title. We already had Hangman and Moxley all
<v Speaker 1>in last year. I don't really have an appetite to
<v Speaker 1>see it again this year, but that was the first
<v Speaker 1>name that popped into my head. I guess we'll have
<v Speaker 1>to wait and find out. But on the whole, I
<v Speaker 1>did enjoy the show. There were parts of the show
<v Speaker 1>I didn't enjoy as much, but to me, it was
<v Speaker 1>an improvement over some of the recent episodes of Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>and some of the other television shows. Frankly that I've
<v Speaker 1>been seeing. We'll talk about everything that happened here. I
<v Speaker 1>will say you know who the MVP was of this show.
<v Speaker 1>The MVP of the show was not Kenny Omega, was
<v Speaker 1>not Will Osprey. It was not any of the people
<v Speaker 1>that you saw on the ring tonight. The MVP of
<v Speaker 1>the show was the crowd. It was the crowd in Detroit.
<v Speaker 1>I salute you, hot crowd, great crowd tonight for Dynamoe.
<v Speaker 1>When the energy is up, it's a different vibe, whether
<v Speaker 1>it's a big arena, whether it's a smaller venue like
<v Speaker 1>this one, or are they the Masonic Temple I believe is
<v Speaker 1>where they were tonight. Great crap. This is your aw
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite review. It is Wednesday, July twenty ninth, I guess
<v Speaker 1>the final one here for the month of July twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty six. I am the solemn monster like and subscribe.

<v Speaker 1>you brother, six hundred likes. It ain't looking good, guys,
<v Speaker 1>be the booker may have to wait until SmackDown on

<v Speaker 1>a lot. We're not even We're not even halfway there.
<v Speaker 1>But if we look, miracles have happened. So go ahead
<v Speaker 1>and hit that thumbs up. It does help get the
<v Speaker 1>review in the algorithm here on YouTube. It's not just
<v Speaker 1>for show and tell. It does help out the video.
<v Speaker 1>Get into the beginning of the show. Here a Snorkel
<v Speaker 1>Snorkel gear pop, how bout it? How about it? There
<v Speaker 1>he is Barry brand new fourteen dollars super check. Hey DJ,
<v Speaker 1>welcome to the channel. Welcome brother. So we had a
<v Speaker 1>video at the beginning of the show focusing on everything
<v Speaker 1>that happened at the end of the pay per view
<v Speaker 1>on Sunday, after Kenny Omega beat Kevin Knight to retain
<v Speaker 1>the championship. But the whole angle day shot at the
<v Speaker 1>end of Redemption where the Death Riders tried to kill
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega. Will Osbury came out to make the save
<v Speaker 1>and he ended up leaving the Death Riders and then Omega.
<v Speaker 1>He got up, he dropped Osprey with a one winged
<v Speaker 1>angel and so now here we are. They showed other
<v Speaker 1>footage of John Moxley backstage with the Death Riders. They
<v Speaker 1>kind of spliced it into the highlights and he said,
<v Speaker 1>what did that take three minutes? Said He's been trying
<v Speaker 1>to tell Osprey for months now that Omega is not
<v Speaker 1>his friend. He's trying to eradicate Omega. He wanted Osprey
<v Speaker 1>to see that for himself. But it's not over yet.
<v Speaker 1>Now will Osbury might be the best wrestler in the
<v Speaker 1>world with nothing to lose. Now he is truly on
<v Speaker 1>death ground. Osprey was interviewed live outside the building by
<v Speaker 1>Missus Moxley. This will never not be funny to me,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, when you have a serious angle like
<v Speaker 1>this and John Moxley is at the center of it,
<v Speaker 1>and in this case, John Moxley attempted to murder someone
<v Speaker 1>he was going to suffocate. He was going to smother
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega after breaking his neck by the way on Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>And so everything is centered around this and the Death Riders,
<v Speaker 1>and then we go live to Renee Piquet as if
<v Speaker 1>everything is okay. She's a totally independent party in all this.
<v Speaker 1>So Renee is in the back and she is attempting
<v Speaker 1>to interview Will Osprey who is walking into the building.
<v Speaker 1>He has a look on his face like he is
<v Speaker 1>a man with a purpose. He looks very angry, very focused.
<v Speaker 1>But he runs into the Death Riders and Daniel Garcia
<v Speaker 1>tried to get in his face. He caught an elbow
<v Speaker 1>to the mouth. Moxley calmed the situation down. He asked Osprey,
<v Speaker 1>are you sure you want to do this. Ospbury told him,
<v Speaker 1>you don't get to pull the trigger for me, and
<v Speaker 1>he handed the Death Riders back their official patch. He
<v Speaker 1>gave the patch back, remember the patch that they gave
<v Speaker 1>him a few weeks ago to officially become a member
<v Speaker 1>of the Death Rids. He handed it back and he
<v Speaker 1>said I'm out. So they clear a path for him
<v Speaker 1>to walk, and as he's walking towards the building, who
<v Speaker 1>is walking out of the building, but Hangman Adam Page
<v Speaker 1>his first appearance on Dynamite since March, but it appears
<v Speaker 1>that he is wheeling his luggage out of the building,
<v Speaker 1>which begs the question, I mean, the show just started,
<v Speaker 1>where the fuck is he going? How early did he
<v Speaker 1>get to the building and what exactly was he doing
<v Speaker 1>before the show? Was he there to meet Tony Kahn?
<v Speaker 1>Was was he there to do other things? Maybe a
<v Speaker 1>photo shoot? I don't know, but it appeared to me
<v Speaker 1>that he was leaving and the show had only just begun.
<v Speaker 1>So they bump into each other. He offered Osprey help
<v Speaker 1>if he needed it. Ospbrey said, look, I appreciate that,
<v Speaker 1>but I can't trust Kenny Omega, and if I can't
<v Speaker 1>trust Kenny Omega, I can't trust you. And Hangman said,
<v Speaker 1>I understand, and he knows when Osprey gets to Wembley,
<v Speaker 1>he'll be the best he's ever been. He told him
<v Speaker 1>he hopes that he believes in himself. And I just thought, well,
<v Speaker 1>that was awfully random. But it's a little unsettling, I
<v Speaker 1>will say, seeing Hangman so jolly, I mean, considering the
<v Speaker 1>last time we saw him, he looked like an absolute
<v Speaker 1>fucking maniac. And now he's walking around. He's talking about,
<v Speaker 1>you know, his garden, and he's got a big smile
<v Speaker 1>on his face, and he's kind of joking around with
<v Speaker 1>Osprey and he's got a you know, words of encouragement
<v Speaker 1>for him. I'm like, what has he been in therapy?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, what is this man doing in his time off?
<v Speaker 1>He has found his inner chi He is a man
<v Speaker 1>at peace with himself. I missed the old Hangman. Where's
<v Speaker 1>he at? Where swerve strickling that? By the way, Where
<v Speaker 1>the fuck has he been? We got four weeks until
<v Speaker 1>Wembley Stadium? Is he gonna be on that show? But
<v Speaker 1>you know what, I have a theory about this. It
<v Speaker 1>kind of makes sense that Hangman would be very chipper,
<v Speaker 1>and he would have a smile on his face, and
<v Speaker 1>he would be in a much better mood because he
<v Speaker 1>no longer has the stress on his shoulders of having
<v Speaker 1>to challenge for the world championship. Right a giant weight
<v Speaker 1>has been lifted off his shoulders. He can't challenge for
<v Speaker 1>the title again. So it's like, well, that's one thing
<v Speaker 1>I don't have to worry about anymore. I could just
<v Speaker 1>I could just live my life and I can garden
<v Speaker 1>and I can just pick another title because there's so
<v Speaker 1>many of them to choose frohim that he could wrestle
<v Speaker 1>for See, this is the best thing that ever happens
<v Speaker 1>to this guy. So now we get into the actual show.
<v Speaker 1>It opened with a three way match for the eight
<v Speaker 1>W National Championship, but we had the brand new national champion,
<v Speaker 1>androde l Idelo defending his title against jungle Jack Perry
<v Speaker 1>and Nick Wayne. Perry and Wayne were two of the
<v Speaker 1>six men involved in the opening ladder match on Sunday
<v Speaker 1>to challenge for a shot at the international title. They
<v Speaker 1>both lost right Speedball won that match, so I guess
<v Speaker 1>this was their consolation price. We can't get a shot
<v Speaker 1>at the international title, we can get a shot at
<v Speaker 1>the national title. That's the beauty of having a national
<v Speaker 1>title and an international title. We'll just challenge for the
<v Speaker 1>other one if we fuck up and we can't challenge
<v Speaker 1>for the other. Sure, So Perry took Androti off the
<v Speaker 1>aprin at one point to the floor with a hurricane.
<v Speaker 1>Rana and Nick Wayne then surprised Perry with a destroyer
<v Speaker 1>from the ring out to the floor, which was pretty nutty.
<v Speaker 1>So things were moving at a very I think I'm
<v Speaker 1>being generous when I say things were moving at a
<v Speaker 1>very brisk pace here in this match. Perry landed three
<v Speaker 1>consecutive suicide dives and a moon salt from the top
<v Speaker 1>onto both men outside, and honestly, like, as I'm watching
<v Speaker 1>him here in this match, this is the I guess,
<v Speaker 1>the hottest hease he's ever come off here on the
<v Speaker 1>show in terms of like the crowd energy. The crowd
<v Speaker 1>was super into him and he was flying around all
<v Speaker 1>over the place. I mean again, the crowd was very
<v Speaker 1>hot for most of the show anyway. But he brought
<v Speaker 1>Nick Wayne back inside. He had a sit out power
<v Speaker 1>bomb for a near fall, Androte came back. He sent
<v Speaker 1>Perry out to the floor. Then he went for a
<v Speaker 1>top rope splash. Nick Wayne, though got the knees up.
<v Speaker 1>Wayne landed a phoenix splash. Perry, though, broke up the
<v Speaker 1>fall that followed, Androte then hit a back elbow on
<v Speaker 1>Jack Perry and then the DM on Nick Wayne for
<v Speaker 1>the win. No surprise. I mean, the man literally just
<v Speaker 1>won the championship on Sunday. This was more just sort of, hey,
<v Speaker 1>let's just throw these guys out there to have a
<v Speaker 1>banger match to open the show, and to that end,
<v Speaker 1>the crowd was into it. So right out of that
<v Speaker 1>crazy ladder match on Sunday, you have these two guys
<v Speaker 1>going out here on this show nearly killing themselves again
<v Speaker 1>for the second time in forty eight hours or I
<v Speaker 1>guess seventy two seventy two hours hot opener again. Crowd
<v Speaker 1>was pretty much into everything all three of them were doing.
<v Speaker 1>And I will say Androtti in particular, super over right
<v Speaker 1>now kind of makes me sad he's holding the national
<v Speaker 1>title because the national title hasn't been well enough established
<v Speaker 1>for me to sit here and say that, it really
<v Speaker 1>means a whole lot that he's holding it. You know,
<v Speaker 1>for Mark Davis to go out there and hold the
<v Speaker 1>national title, Mark Davis didn't hold any singles gold. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think he had any gold in this company. So
<v Speaker 1>for him to get a push of the national champion
<v Speaker 1>for him, that's meaningful. Androtti feels like he's above this,
<v Speaker 1>especially because for months this man went on television and said,
<v Speaker 1>I want the world title. Every time MJF was on
<v Speaker 1>the show, I want the world title, Don don I
<v Speaker 1>want the world title, and Don Callous would tell him
<v Speaker 1>Tronquillo Tronquillo. You'll get your shots, just just be patient.
<v Speaker 1>And now it just he shifted over where he's okay
<v Speaker 1>with winning other championships other than the world title. It's
<v Speaker 1>a very abrupt change to what I thought his mission
<v Speaker 1>statement was. But in any event, so when the mattress over,
<v Speaker 1>Tony Shavani gets in the ring and he asks androde
<v Speaker 1>you know how he feels, and he said tranquilo because
<v Speaker 1>he had screwed MJF. And he brandished the dynamite diamond
<v Speaker 1>ring that he stole from him. He still has it,
<v Speaker 1>which which tells you who MJF is going to be
<v Speaker 1>gunning for. By the way, the next time we see
<v Speaker 1>him back on TV, so he's feeling very tranquilo. He
<v Speaker 1>screwed MJF. He screwed Don calo Us by taking the
<v Speaker 1>national championship. He said he could fight anybody, but he
<v Speaker 1>wanted the best, or to be the best national champion
<v Speaker 1>that there's ever been. There haven't been very many national
<v Speaker 1>champions to begin with, so that shouldn't be too difficult.
<v Speaker 1>Tony Schavanni, this was the funniest moment on the entire show.
<v Speaker 1>Tony Schevanni then informs Andrade that there is going to
<v Speaker 1>be a casino gauntlett, which I think we all knew,
<v Speaker 1>but there was going to be a casino gauntlet match
<v Speaker 1>at all In, with the winner earning themselves a guaranteed
<v Speaker 1>shot at the aw World Championship, and next week in
<v Speaker 1>Andrade's hometown of Mexico. Yes, his home town of Mexico.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know that was the name of the town,
<v Speaker 1>but evidently it is. According to Tony Shavanni, there would
<v Speaker 1>be a qualifying match to determine who will enter the
<v Speaker 1>gauntlet in the number one spot, which is, of course,
<v Speaker 1>is a very desirable spot because these gauntlets only go
<v Speaker 1>until the first fall. It's one fall to a finish.
<v Speaker 1>So if Andrade is number one, he could beat number
<v Speaker 1>two in the first sixty seconds of the match and
<v Speaker 1>that's it. We're done. So you want to be number one,
<v Speaker 1>you want to be number two. So they're going to
<v Speaker 1>have a qualifying match. I guess at Arena Mexico next week,
<v Speaker 1>and he says, is that something that you would like?
<v Speaker 1>Androte then tells him I only have one question, and
<v Speaker 1>before he could ask the obvious question, the entire crowd
<v Speaker 1>is chanting, how you know? How you know? And indeed
<v Speaker 1>Androte asked the question, how you know in everybody Pie,
<v Speaker 1>he's got a big smile on his face. He looks
<v Speaker 1>like he's having a blast out there. He's having a
<v Speaker 1>great run. I mean, there's really nothing else to say
<v Speaker 1>about it. He's having a great run. The fans are responding,
<v Speaker 1>he's having great matches. He seems to be genuinely enjoying himself.
<v Speaker 1>He's being featured consistently every single week. You couldn't say
<v Speaker 1>that about him the first time. I didn't know from
<v Speaker 1>one week to the next what the hell was going
<v Speaker 1>on with him the first time he was in the company.
<v Speaker 1>I think at one point Matt Hardy, did Matt Hardy
<v Speaker 1>buy his group or what was the affiliation with Androd's
<v Speaker 1>LFI and Matt hart I don't fucking know. That first
<v Speaker 1>run was just a complete mess, and it's no wonder
<v Speaker 1>he wanted out. But this is a complete one eighty
<v Speaker 1>and what he's doing right now is working. So when
<v Speaker 1>you have something that's working, just keep doing it, Just
<v Speaker 1>keep doing it, and who knows, maybe one day he
<v Speaker 1>will win the world championship. But that's far down the
<v Speaker 1>road as far as Andrat and the casino Gauntlet. He's
<v Speaker 1>got to be an early favorite. I'm not saying he's
<v Speaker 1>my pick to win. I don't know who else is
<v Speaker 1>even gonna be teased for this match, But could Andrade
<v Speaker 1>potentially be a winner? Sure? Sure, it's not like they
<v Speaker 1>have announced that so and so is going to be
<v Speaker 1>in the Gauntlet and you look at him and go, oh,
<v Speaker 1>this guy's got no fucking chance of winning. He definitely
<v Speaker 1>has a chance. They've established he wants to go after
<v Speaker 1>the world title. This would be the easiest pathway for him.
<v Speaker 1>Someone said, that's an awfully big town. I hear the
<v Speaker 1>town of Mexico is quite big. I don't have the
<v Speaker 1>exact population figure hometown of Mexico. Renee was in the
<v Speaker 1>back with Don Callous and the family. She said the
<v Speaker 1>family has lost some matches lately. Kyle Fletcher says that
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't know what she's talking about because, unlike someone else,
<v Speaker 1>and Kevin Knight was right there he won his title
<v Speaker 1>match of redemption. Callous says he hopes Kevin Knight learned
<v Speaker 1>a valuable lesson when it comes to him not needing
<v Speaker 1>the family's help, and Knight says, look, it sucks that
<v Speaker 1>you know he lost but he went toe to toe
<v Speaker 1>with one of the best in the sport, and it
<v Speaker 1>won't be the last time they see him in the
<v Speaker 1>main event. So he's taunting Fletcher by telling him he
<v Speaker 1>goes you know, he's tied, you know, one and one
<v Speaker 1>with Speedball Fletcher is And next week he sure hopes
<v Speaker 1>that Fletcher retains his international title because it's going to
<v Speaker 1>be Kyle Fletcher defending against Speedball Mike Bailey at Arena
<v Speaker 1>Mexico next week. Because Grand Slam is next Wednesday, Clint
<v Speaker 1>says Grand Slam Mexico will be fourteen thousand. Is that
<v Speaker 1>the attendance. I haven't actually seen any attendance figures now
<v Speaker 1>that I think about it, for the Arena Mexico show
<v Speaker 1>next week. Are they up to fourteen thousand? Where are
<v Speaker 1>you seeing that? I haven't seen anything on Wrestle Tics.
<v Speaker 1>That was one of the most fun shows that they
<v Speaker 1>did last year, and the heat in the building was
<v Speaker 1>off the track. I think that was the night that
<v Speaker 1>Hangman came out and cut that promo in Spanish. If
<v Speaker 1>the atmosphere is anything like that next week, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure it will be, that show is gonna be a
<v Speaker 1>lot of fun. But I haven't seen the actual attendance figure.
<v Speaker 1>So Kyle says, look, I'm not afraid of speedball, and
<v Speaker 1>the international title will always stay in the family. And
<v Speaker 1>as he says that, kazuchka Okata, he walks in from behind,
<v Speaker 1>big smile on his face, and he tells Kevin Knight,
<v Speaker 1>Kyle's right, the international title is going to be staying
<v Speaker 1>with the family, and he walks away, and Kyle shot
<v Speaker 1>him a look, kind of a confused look, but also
<v Speaker 1>not a very happy look. And that is what they
<v Speaker 1>call foreshadowing. It is foreshadowing for the inevitable three way
<v Speaker 1>that we are going to get in London. We have
<v Speaker 1>the don Kallis family, Kyle Fletcher, Brian Cage and Jake
<v Speaker 1>Doyle taking on Speedball, Mike Bailey, Brody King and Bandido
<v Speaker 1>in a six man tag. All right, So Pseudo says,
<v Speaker 1>fifty six hundred, that's a that's a far cry from
<v Speaker 1>fourteen thousand. That's why I was questioning that number. Fifty
<v Speaker 1>six hundred plus general audience. Yeah, I mean, it'll be
<v Speaker 1>more than fifty six hundred by the time next week
<v Speaker 1>rolls around, but I don't know it's gonna be fourteen thousand.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know about that. What did they have last year?
<v Speaker 1>Somebody look it up. Go to a Grand Slam Mexico
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five wiki see if it has an attendance listed. Anyway, here,
<v Speaker 1>Bandido was isolated through a commercial break before finally he
<v Speaker 1>tagged in Brody King Brian Cage. He spun out of
<v Speaker 1>a gonzo bomb attempt. King though through a hard lariat.
<v Speaker 1>We had a double down Doyle and Bandido. They were
<v Speaker 1>legal and Bandido he lifted the big guy up for
<v Speaker 1>a press slam. He followed up with a splash. Doyle, though,
<v Speaker 1>rolled through on the splash and then dropped him with
<v Speaker 1>a hard body slam. So later on Doyle he was
<v Speaker 1>setting up for He was setting up Bandido in the
<v Speaker 1>corner for a pile drive. I don't know why he
<v Speaker 1>was so close to the corner, but he's basically in
<v Speaker 1>the corner with him, and he's setting him up for
<v Speaker 1>a pile driver. He did not see Speedball, who was
<v Speaker 1>on the apron right there, reach in and tag Bandido,
<v Speaker 1>so he got the blind tag. He climbs up top
<v Speaker 1>and he comes down with the ultimate weapon, the double
<v Speaker 1>knees right to the small of the back of Jake Doyle,
<v Speaker 1>and he followed up with a sunset flip with the
<v Speaker 1>arms trapped and he got the pin because that's Jake
<v Speaker 1>Doyle's role in the don Kallis family is to eat
<v Speaker 1>the pin, and so he did and the baby faces
<v Speaker 1>pick up the wing. Kyle Fletcher, he tried to make
<v Speaker 1>the save at the last minute. He didn't make it
<v Speaker 1>in time, and he was not very happy about that.
<v Speaker 1>So this was not as good as the opener. Solid
<v Speaker 1>stuff though, Still, I hope here's my hope when it
<v Speaker 1>comes to Bandido. Here's my my hope is that we
<v Speaker 1>get to see more of him with Brody King. Let's
<v Speaker 1>see more of Brodido, you know, in the tag team division,
<v Speaker 1>because I am I'm sick and tired of Bandido being
<v Speaker 1>put in these big matches and just being fed to people. Right,
<v Speaker 1>it's always fun to watch him, and honestly, I could
<v Speaker 1>sit here and talk about, well, he's the Ring of
<v Speaker 1>Honor World champion, and so why would you put him
<v Speaker 1>in these matches where he's constantly losing. Nobody gives a
<v Speaker 1>fuck about the Ring of Honor world title, not least
<v Speaker 1>of which is Tony Khan. Because if Tony Khan gave
<v Speaker 1>a fuck about the Ring of Honor World title. He
<v Speaker 1>would not be beating the Ring of Honor World Champion constantly.
<v Speaker 1>So rather than see him just be fed to people
<v Speaker 1>in these big matches and inevitably lose like he did
<v Speaker 1>to Moxley, you know, like he did this past week,
<v Speaker 1>let's see these two back together, because Brodido was a
<v Speaker 1>fun team. Brodido was one of those revelations from last
<v Speaker 1>year where they put these two guys together. It's a
<v Speaker 1>tag team that you would never expect and they just
<v Speaker 1>gelled so well, right because they're friends, they have chemistry together,
<v Speaker 1>They're a great tag team. And they got some new
<v Speaker 1>tag teams probably on their way in. There's going to
<v Speaker 1>be another tag team renaissance. It feels like here in
<v Speaker 1>aw very soon. Feels like we're kind of there now,
<v Speaker 1>but even more so as new teams are brought in.
<v Speaker 1>I'd like to see him doing more of that, especially
<v Speaker 1>if Tony doesn't have anything better for him to do Speedball.
<v Speaker 1>Winning here though, made sense, gives him the momentum now
<v Speaker 1>going into a title match next week against Fletcher. Speaking
<v Speaker 1>of the tag teams, we had our first bit of
<v Speaker 1>hype for one of the key matches on the All
<v Speaker 1>in London card. A pre recorded sit down interview between
<v Speaker 1>the two teams that are going to be wrestling for
<v Speaker 1>the AW Tag Team Championship, Coping, Christian and the Challengers
<v Speaker 1>The Young Bucks. Renee says that the term dream match
<v Speaker 1>is thrown around all the time. This is the top
<v Speaker 1>of that mountain. Nick Jackson says that he's a little
<v Speaker 1>bit nervous about this. He can now make plans for
<v Speaker 1>England for his family. They're both going to bring their families,
<v Speaker 1>their kids. They're all going to make a big vacation
<v Speaker 1>out of it. He says. They appreciate what Cage and
<v Speaker 1>Cope have done for tag team wrestling. Copland says, look,
<v Speaker 1>don't sell yourself short, because you guys revolutionize tag team wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>If you don't say it, we will. Copland says that
<v Speaker 1>this match proves that tag team wrestling is back to
<v Speaker 1>the forefront, whereas in other places it has been pushed
<v Speaker 1>into the back burner or pushed to the back burner.
<v Speaker 1>Can I get an amen? Ain't that the truth? No
<v Speaker 1>lies detected? In that statement? Christian interrupted. He said that
<v Speaker 1>they didn't come back to have a retirement tour. They
<v Speaker 1>set out to prove that they were the best team
<v Speaker 1>of any generation. Matt Jackson piped up. He said that
<v Speaker 1>they've been clawing their way back from rock bottom. They
<v Speaker 1>need to cement their legacy and win those titles for
<v Speaker 1>a fourth time. Copeland pointed out that between the two
<v Speaker 1>of them, him and Christian, they lost seventeen years of
<v Speaker 1>their careers to injuries. It's been twenty five years before
<v Speaker 1>this since they were tag team champions together. That's a
<v Speaker 1>quarter of a century. Matt said, Look, they're going to
<v Speaker 1>be more aggressive than they've ever been before. It's not
<v Speaker 1>going to be like Kobe Bryant at the end of
<v Speaker 1>his career putting up sixty points. They would be lucky
<v Speaker 1>to get on the board. Christian said it would be
<v Speaker 1>different than they thought when the lights were bright and
<v Speaker 1>they were across the ring from their heroes. Are they
<v Speaker 1>going to be able to elevate their game like they
<v Speaker 1>always do so? Rene asks why would this mean so
<v Speaker 1>much to Cope and Cage and Copeland said, Look, despite
<v Speaker 1>everything they've done, there's still this doubt. Matt Jackson said,
<v Speaker 1>there's always a chip on their shoulder, always told they
<v Speaker 1>were too small. You don't have the machine behind them,
<v Speaker 1>you're this, you're that too many super kicks, which is true.
<v Speaker 1>Cope and Cage might be bigger, but they're the young
<v Speaker 1>Bucks and they wound down the promo. It was all
<v Speaker 1>very straightforward here. Both teams had a chance to say
<v Speaker 1>their piece. Things didn't get too testy between them. But
<v Speaker 1>this is the first, right, this is the first real
<v Speaker 1>promo between these two teams. They've got four or five
<v Speaker 1>weeks whatever it is now between now and all in.
<v Speaker 1>I still think there's a chance they're going to add
<v Speaker 1>at least one more team to this match. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think they need to. Like this is the match first
<v Speaker 1>time ever Cope and Christian and the Bucks. I would
<v Speaker 1>keep it as is, but I'm just saying I would
<v Speaker 1>not be surprised if Tony wanted to add another one
<v Speaker 1>or two teams to this match, and there's still several
<v Speaker 1>weeks to do that. We had the new TBS champion
<v Speaker 1>in maya World her first title defense against the CEA
<v Speaker 1>MLL Women's Champion, Persephone, who I would have liked to
<v Speaker 1>have seen win that Survival of the Fittest match at
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of the month to win the title. Either
<v Speaker 1>her or Queen a Mi Nada. They went with Hikarashida.
<v Speaker 1>She'da lost her championship to Maya World on Sunday. A
<v Speaker 1>lot of people didn't seem to really like the match.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to sit here and lie to you
<v Speaker 1>and tell you it was a great match or even
<v Speaker 1>a very good match, because it wasn't. Something about Shida
<v Speaker 1>that's off. She's not the same as she was before.
<v Speaker 1>She came back, slower, more tentative. The match itself, though,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't think was as bad as some people made
<v Speaker 1>it out to be. And the thing that I was
<v Speaker 1>happy with the most is that Tony Kahan didn't just
<v Speaker 1>put Maya World, you know, back down the card or
<v Speaker 1>on the back burner, or relegate her to ring of honor.
<v Speaker 1>She's being featured on the shows and now she has
<v Speaker 1>a championship and she's being featured in a prominent way.
<v Speaker 1>Right she's on Dynamite. There are people who are on
<v Speaker 1>that roster who would kill to be on Dynamite because
<v Speaker 1>they never are. So she's in a good spot. Hopefully
<v Speaker 1>that will continue. And so now we have her defending
<v Speaker 1>against Persephone. When I saw that this match was announced,
<v Speaker 1>I was like he wouldn't do it, would he? Like,
<v Speaker 1>they're in Mexico next week. Persephonie is the CMLL Women's
<v Speaker 1>World Champion. Why is he doing this match on this show?
<v Speaker 1>Is he going to take the title away from from
<v Speaker 1>Maya this quickly? Like? I don't know that. I honestly
<v Speaker 1>thought he would, but I in the back of my mind,
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I wonder if I wonder if her
<v Speaker 1>reign is going to be cut short. Thankfully that was
<v Speaker 1>not the case. Persephone is someone who also I would
<v Speaker 1>not be I would not be beating her too often.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to see him make a habit out
<v Speaker 1>of this. I'm a big fan of her work, and
<v Speaker 1>I think she's very good, not just in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>but even on promos. She's got an intensity about her
<v Speaker 1>that not everybody has, so I'd like to see her
<v Speaker 1>feature more prominently. Honestly, it's just funny to me. You know,
<v Speaker 1>she's the world champion in CMLL, and if the shoe
<v Speaker 1>was on the other foot, there's no way Tony Kahm
<v Speaker 1>would have his champion losing, you know, just almost like
<v Speaker 1>it's just such a casual thing too, wasn't even like
<v Speaker 1>that big of a deal, But I don't think if
<v Speaker 1>the shoe was on the other foot that you would
<v Speaker 1>be seeing this. But here we go. We have these
<v Speaker 1>two in the ring together. Persephone locks on a half
<v Speaker 1>crab and then an ankle lock. Maya got a rope brake,
<v Speaker 1>so the challenger fought out of the bridging fallaway slam
<v Speaker 1>into one of her own sent Maya outside, where she
<v Speaker 1>met her with a topey. Maya avoided a power bomb
<v Speaker 1>counter that into a tornado DDT, after which they headed
<v Speaker 1>back to the ring. Persephone had a rain maker variation
<v Speaker 1>that turned Maya inside out and then a German Maya
<v Speaker 1>kicked out. Persephone freaked out on Aubrey Edwards. She's also
<v Speaker 1>very animated, like in the course of a match. When
<v Speaker 1>she gets very frustrated, she gets very animated. She gets
<v Speaker 1>very like, very expressive, so she was not happy. Hakarushita
<v Speaker 1>ran now with her Kendo stick, never leaves home without it.
<v Speaker 1>She tossed the Kendo stick to Persephone, and then she
<v Speaker 1>was distracting Aubrey before Persephone could swing the stick, though
<v Speaker 1>Chris Statlander magically appeared at ringside on the apron. She
<v Speaker 1>grabbed the stick away from her and then as Persephone
<v Speaker 1>turned back around. She turned into the same bridging fallaway
<v Speaker 1>slam that Maya used to win the world title on Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>and she retained the championship. And then after the match,
<v Speaker 1>Statlander raised Maya's hand. Persephone was sitting on the floor outside.
<v Speaker 1>She was absolutely livid. And if you remember what happened
<v Speaker 1>at the end of that Survival of the Fittest match,
<v Speaker 1>it looked like they were setting up something with Persephone
<v Speaker 1>and Statlander. Here we are now, all these weeks later,
<v Speaker 1>and hopefully now they're finally getting around to really juicing
<v Speaker 1>this thing up here. So based on what they did
<v Speaker 1>here at the finish, I would imagine Persephone is not
<v Speaker 1>going to be too happy about for Statlander getting involved
<v Speaker 1>in her business. Feels like this is setting up a
<v Speaker 1>tag team match. Did they announce anything, Maybe they put
<v Speaker 1>a graphic up for it. If they didn't, I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>we're going to get it at some point. Sheidah and
<v Speaker 1>Persephone against Maya and Statlander. It just seems inevitable unless
<v Speaker 1>they've already announced it for Collision tomorrow. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if they have or not, but I could have done
<v Speaker 1>without the interference at the end. If it was done
<v Speaker 1>to set up a tag team match. Then fine, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just saying I could have done without it. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't convinced that he wasn't going to take the
<v Speaker 1>title off Maya. I don't know I saw that. I'm like, hmm,
<v Speaker 1>if he was going to put the belt on Persephone,
<v Speaker 1>then he would have done it on July first. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>a tag match in Mexico could be that would make sense.
<v Speaker 1>If they have not announced anything for Collision tomorrow with them,
<v Speaker 1>then that might be the match. Next week, we had
<v Speaker 1>the former national champion Mark Davis. I was actually very
<v Speaker 1>happy to see him get promo time on this show
<v Speaker 1>because my fear was coming out of his loss to
<v Speaker 1>Androtti on Sunday. It was like to the background with you,
<v Speaker 1>Mark Davis, You're going to be relegated into the background
<v Speaker 1>of these don Kallis family promo segments in the back
<v Speaker 1>and maybe they'll put him together again with Jake Doyle
<v Speaker 1>and they may still do that, but they actually gave
<v Speaker 1>him promo time. He was standing by himself, didn't even
<v Speaker 1>have callous with him. He was in like a stairwell
<v Speaker 1>in the back, and he said that he's ten pounds
<v Speaker 1>lighter because he has no national title around his waist.
<v Speaker 1>That makes him furious. He needs to do something about it.
<v Speaker 1>He said, Hey, mister number one can tend will Ospray.
<v Speaker 1>Our record this year shows us as one in one.
<v Speaker 1>But Osprey's win, he says, came with an asterisk next
<v Speaker 1>to it, courtesy of the Death Riders. So how about
<v Speaker 1>next week at Grand Slam Mexico. He leaves Don Kallis
<v Speaker 1>at home and the two of them step into the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He said, he's gonna chew him up and spit him out,
<v Speaker 1>broken out back at Arena Mexico. You know, their last
<v Speaker 1>match was in the Owen. It's one of my favorite
<v Speaker 1>TV matches of the year. Overbooked as it was. Everybody
<v Speaker 1>was running in at the end, everybody, but they had
<v Speaker 1>this like electric atmosphere in the building. There was a
<v Speaker 1>lot of craziness there, a lot of near falls and
<v Speaker 1>such towards the end of that match, but it was
<v Speaker 1>a lot of fun. So you put those two in
<v Speaker 1>the ring together in the middle of a hot Arena
<v Speaker 1>Mexico next week. I don't mean just literally hot, but
<v Speaker 1>like it's gonna be loud in that building. That's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be a good one. I'm looking forward to that. Willow
<v Speaker 1>Nightingales championship celebration was up next, and this right here
<v Speaker 1>was my favorite part of the entire show. I think
<v Speaker 1>it was the best part of the entire show. Renee
<v Speaker 1>was in the ring to introduce us to the brand
<v Speaker 1>new AW Women's World Champion with her win over Tekla,
<v Speaker 1>who was not on the show tonight. So Willow Nightingale
<v Speaker 1>came out to the ring and they shot streamers all
<v Speaker 1>over the place for her huge ovation, huge standing ovation
<v Speaker 1>for this woman here in Detroit. She was practically in tears.
<v Speaker 1>She was getting very emotional in the ring. It's not
<v Speaker 1>very often that someone will come out on these AW
<v Speaker 1>shows and get this kind of response, and I don't
<v Speaker 1>remember Willow herself even getting this kind of sustained response before.
<v Speaker 1>They were very happy for her that she made it
<v Speaker 1>to the top of the mountain and she's the champion now,
<v Speaker 1>and what's not to like. She's the most likable personality
<v Speaker 1>on the entire show. So she was kind of taken
<v Speaker 1>aback at first by the reaction. She says, this is
<v Speaker 1>all still very surreal. This is what people dream about.
<v Speaker 1>She's grateful that they've been with her, despite their being
<v Speaker 1>doubters along the way. People would look at her as
<v Speaker 1>being too quirky and too chubby or weird and they
<v Speaker 1>just wouldn't get it. But over the past year, she's
<v Speaker 1>apparently made the fans very happy. This past year, she's
<v Speaker 1>become one half of the first ever women's tag team champions,
<v Speaker 1>beat Mercedes Monett for the TBS title. Got hurt, but
<v Speaker 1>what pulled her out of a dark place was her mom,
<v Speaker 1>who calls her a warrior princess and told her that
<v Speaker 1>she could stay down or you can get up and fight.
<v Speaker 1>She fought to get into the Casino Gauntlet. She'd beat
<v Speaker 1>a toxic champion and Techla'll win the big one. And
<v Speaker 1>she has a message for all of the fans out there.
<v Speaker 1>If life has kicked you around, don't you dare give up,
<v Speaker 1>keep fighting and pushing through because sometimes the comeback is
<v Speaker 1>even better than the dream. And she held up the
<v Speaker 1>title and everybody cheered. So she got cut off by
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes Monet's music Massive Booze for Mercedes walks out with
<v Speaker 1>a contract in her hand and she demands that Willo
<v Speaker 1>signed the contract for all in. Willo signs it right
<v Speaker 1>on mercedes chest and Mercedes then pie faced her, so
<v Speaker 1>they got nose to nose briefly, and then Renee made
<v Speaker 1>the announcement and said, well, it's official at all in
<v Speaker 1>it will be Willow Nightingale defending the championship against Mercedes Monette,
<v Speaker 1>and Willo says, look, what's your problem today? Right? Someone
<v Speaker 1>else got some attention for five seconds and took the
<v Speaker 1>attention away from you. Or is it because that you
<v Speaker 1>remember I beat you to injure TBS title reign. She
<v Speaker 1>thinks that it's uh. Now she has the one championship
<v Speaker 1>that Mercedes can't win, and this bothers her. So Mercedes said,
<v Speaker 1>look what she hates the most about Willow. It's not
<v Speaker 1>her smile. It's not the fact that people love her.
<v Speaker 1>It's that Willow's name is written all over her own story.
<v Speaker 1>And she talked about getting injured the first time they
<v Speaker 1>stepped in the ring together. She lost her TBS championship
<v Speaker 1>to Willow, and now Willow once again stands in her way.
<v Speaker 1>So she said that she was tired of her smiling
<v Speaker 1>face being in her face and she would end her
<v Speaker 1>fairy tale at all in. She took credit for making
<v Speaker 1>her She said that she gave her the greatest moment
<v Speaker 1>of her entire career, and she would take her title
<v Speaker 1>and her smile at all it. Divine Dominion showed up
<v Speaker 1>the Women's Tag Team Champions. They showed up on the apron,
<v Speaker 1>surrounded the ring three on one. Willow got some shots
<v Speaker 1>in though, but I think Mercedes clipped her knee, I believe,
<v Speaker 1>and she got put down. Willow did by a double
<v Speaker 1>chokeslamp from the tag champs. Outcome the brawling Birds Jamie
<v Speaker 1>Hayter and Alex Windsor to chase off the heels, and
<v Speaker 1>that is how the segment came to an end. And
<v Speaker 1>that match is not official yet, but that's going to
<v Speaker 1>be another match obviously for all in I think many
<v Speaker 1>of us have seen this coming for at least two
<v Speaker 1>or three months now that at Wembley it was going
<v Speaker 1>to be Jamie and Alex challenging for and winning the
<v Speaker 1>women's tag team titles from Megan Bain and Lena Cross.
<v Speaker 1>And that makes sense. If you're gonna do it, that
<v Speaker 1>is the place to do it. Makes all the sense
<v Speaker 1>in the world. In the meantime, you've had you know,
<v Speaker 1>Lena and Megan going out there and destroying people. They
<v Speaker 1>are one of the more dominant acts in the entire company.
<v Speaker 1>And I said this on Sunday. You know, when they
<v Speaker 1>were out there for their match, that just aesthetically when
<v Speaker 1>you see them and the presentation with the you know,
<v Speaker 1>they're on either side of the of the tront like
<v Speaker 1>the big screens. During their entrance, they each say a
<v Speaker 1>word or they say a quote or whatever, and then
<v Speaker 1>they walk out together or posing together. It's a superstar entrance.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it's a good act that the two of
<v Speaker 1>them have. But at some point you get so dominant
<v Speaker 1>it's like, okay, well who are you setting up to?
<v Speaker 1>You know, finally take them down. There you go, that's
<v Speaker 1>your team right there, there's your match. You don't have
<v Speaker 1>to add anybody else. Divine dominion, brawling birds. Make it official.
<v Speaker 1>We haven't gotten the graphic yet from Tony Kah make
<v Speaker 1>it official. As far as this segment goes, Willow Nightingale
<v Speaker 1>cut the best babyface promo that I've heard in aw
<v Speaker 1>in a very long time. She's a natural babyface, naturally likable.
<v Speaker 1>That's why the fans, you know, root for her and
<v Speaker 1>they're happy to see her win the championship. She had
<v Speaker 1>the advice for the fans. Don't ever give up, don't
<v Speaker 1>ever let people kick you around, right, classic Babyface promo.
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes comes out, gets great heat. Now, this is only
<v Speaker 1>one week, it's one city. We'll see where things stand
<v Speaker 1>in a few weeks. If they put them back in
<v Speaker 1>the ring. You know, was the heat still there for Mercedes?
<v Speaker 1>Are they going to be in the ring together in
<v Speaker 1>some capacity in Mexico next week? Are they going to
<v Speaker 1>be on the show next week, you know, at Arena Mexico.
<v Speaker 1>It may differ from you know, city to city, but
<v Speaker 1>this was, in my opinion, the perfect crowd for this
<v Speaker 1>type of segment because you want people to be making noise.
<v Speaker 1>The match just comes off as so much of a
<v Speaker 1>bigger deal, like they're invested in it. You have a
<v Speaker 1>genuinely likable Babyface. They don't want to see her lose.
<v Speaker 1>They don't want to see her be a transitional champion.
<v Speaker 1>To them, the worst thing would be she just won
<v Speaker 1>the belt and you're gonna take it from her and
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes is gonna get it. They don't want to see that, right,
<v Speaker 1>So that's why I said, coming into this, some people
<v Speaker 1>are very upset. Oh they're gonna beat Tekla. It's not fair.
<v Speaker 1>Tecla belongs in that match. Tecla's done a great job
<v Speaker 1>this year. Tecla had one hundred and sixty something days
<v Speaker 1>as the champion. It's not like she got jobbed out
<v Speaker 1>in a month. And I hope they have another good
<v Speaker 1>role for her at all In, you know, because she
<v Speaker 1>deserves to be on that show. But this was the
<v Speaker 1>correct outcome here. The match to do, the big match
<v Speaker 1>to do, even though it's been done before, is Mercedes
<v Speaker 1>and Willow and everybody who was saying that Mercedes is horse,
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes is gonna win. I don't think so. I don't again,
<v Speaker 1>as I sit here right now, I still feel the
<v Speaker 1>way I felt on Sunday. Don't just assume that because
<v Speaker 1>she lost last time, or because Willow has beaten her before,
<v Speaker 1>that she's automatically gonna win the championship. I agree with you,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, if you're one of those people who
<v Speaker 1>are like you're out of your fucking mind, everything is
<v Speaker 1>set up to lead you to believe that Mercedes is
<v Speaker 1>going to win the title. In London, she won the
<v Speaker 1>Oeren last year, she went to All In, she fucking
<v Speaker 1>loved lost five hundred and something days. Is TBS champion
<v Speaker 1>or six maybe six hundred something days. Who ended it? Willow? Willow? Yes, Willow.
<v Speaker 1>So you would think Mercedes is finally going to get
<v Speaker 1>her revenge. I'm not so sure. I'm not convinced. I
<v Speaker 1>hope not. Willow deserves to be more than just a
<v Speaker 1>transitional champion. The comeback story you told, the comeback story,
<v Speaker 1>the redemption arc of Willow Nightingale, injured, out stripped, back,
<v Speaker 1>wins the Gauntlet, wins the big One to turn around
<v Speaker 1>and take it away from her? Why why would you
<v Speaker 1>do that? I wouldn't do that. John Moxley, then Commander
<v Speaker 1>for the Continental Championship. Commander is an one as Perry
<v Speaker 1>and Nick Wayne were earlier, who lost in the ladder
<v Speaker 1>match on Sunday, but walk right into another title match
<v Speaker 1>here tonight for reasons reasons. Commander has a lot of
<v Speaker 1>fun to watch. He never wins any like big matches
<v Speaker 1>on these shows. We got a ten minute time call
<v Speaker 1>from Justin Roberts with Moxley in the corner. He was
<v Speaker 1>punching and biting him. Commander, though slid out and he
<v Speaker 1>hung Moxley over the top rope and then hit a
<v Speaker 1>guillotine leg drop to the back of the neck. This
<v Speaker 1>was the worst part of this entire thing. So after
<v Speaker 1>he does the guillotine spot and they end up outside
<v Speaker 1>on the floor, Commander rushes back into the ring right
<v Speaker 1>springs back inside because he's gonna go set up for
<v Speaker 1>a springboard move. Moxley follows him back into the ring,
<v Speaker 1>so Moxley rolls inside, but then inexplicably, John Moxley rolls
<v Speaker 1>over and get his body to Commander so he can
<v Speaker 1>hit his springboard four fifty splash. And believe it or not,
<v Speaker 1>this was only the second worst four fifty splash spot
<v Speaker 1>that I have seen on an aw show this week.
<v Speaker 1>It's still not as bad as what I saw in
<v Speaker 1>that Young Bucks match with Moxley and Osprey Redemption that
<v Speaker 1>was fucking awful with Nick Jackson just no selling a
<v Speaker 1>four to fifty splash to go right into the next
<v Speaker 1>spot like it's nothing. But it was just the most
<v Speaker 1>hilarious thing because again Moxley he followed. He slides in
<v Speaker 1>and then literally just turns over and lays there and
<v Speaker 1>looks up at him like, Okay, I'm ready. Can I
<v Speaker 1>ask like a favor? Can we at least attempt to
<v Speaker 1>make these types of spots look natural. Obviously, the spot
<v Speaker 1>was that you were gonna get be on the receiving
<v Speaker 1>end of a four to fifty splash. Okay, fine, there
<v Speaker 1>has to be a better way to set something like
<v Speaker 1>this upward does not look so overly fake and contrived.
<v Speaker 1>There has to be the second time now in just
<v Speaker 1>the last few days, that I have seen a four
<v Speaker 1>to fifty splash spot that wanted to make me just
<v Speaker 1>fucking bang my head on this desk, like, what are
<v Speaker 1>and this is not These are not rookies in these matches.
<v Speaker 1>This is the fucking young bucks. John Moxley like, what
<v Speaker 1>are we doing? Come on, man, come on, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I know wrestling, I know wrestling is what wrestling is,
<v Speaker 1>but come on, can we make it not look as fake? Please?
<v Speaker 1>Can we at least try? Commander went for his rope
<v Speaker 1>walk shooting star Press, Moxley moved, hit a curb stop
<v Speaker 1>death rider and then sank in the rear naked choke
<v Speaker 1>and Commander tapped out. Not much else to say about it.
<v Speaker 1>Another John Moxley titled Defence out of Nowhere another win,
<v Speaker 1>no real surprise We go backstage? Yeah, yes, four fifties
<v Speaker 1>are ineffective in aw well we already knew that. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not even talking about how ineffective they are. I'm just
<v Speaker 1>talking about either the setup of it, the reaction to it.
<v Speaker 1>It's just it's comical. It's comical. McK foley was speaking comical.
<v Speaker 1>McK foley was backstage. At least he wasn't barking like
<v Speaker 1>a dog and going bow wow on this show. He
<v Speaker 1>was backstage with the Bang Bang Gang. There was somebody
<v Speaker 1>noticeably absent here. His name is Jay White, and I thought,
<v Speaker 1>oh no, don't tell me he's already injured again. Ace
<v Speaker 1>Austin said they have big problems, and actually they did
<v Speaker 1>mention that Jay White was not there because he was
<v Speaker 1>still reeling from the end of the Chain match Redemption.
<v Speaker 1>Coulton Guns said that they've been screwed by the Dogs
<v Speaker 1>and the Death Riders. Juice Robinson issued a challenge to
<v Speaker 1>any combination of those two groups. Not that I didn't
<v Speaker 1>know that this was going to continue based on the
<v Speaker 1>finish of the match on Sunday, but I'm ready to
<v Speaker 1>move beyond this. Let's just get the inevitable Jay White
<v Speaker 1>David Finley match and then we can move beyond this,
<v Speaker 1>assuming Jay White is okay. He did almost get killed.
<v Speaker 1>On Sunday, he narrowly escaped with his life. We had
<v Speaker 1>the Conglomeration defending their aw Trios titles against Ricochet and
<v Speaker 1>the Gates of Agony. They started this match right at
<v Speaker 1>the top of the hour and we still had a
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega segment yet to come. So I knew this
<v Speaker 1>show was going long when I saw that. But it's
<v Speaker 1>the Conglomeration and it's The Demand, and it's already ten PM,
<v Speaker 1>so it was hard to really bring myself to care
<v Speaker 1>much about this. Cassidy tagged in late. He applied a
<v Speaker 1>ridiculous looking claw hole to Ricochet's head. The Lethal Twist
<v Speaker 1>showed up Blake Christian. He blasted Cassidy in the head
<v Speaker 1>with a springboard belt shot. Ricochet then followed with the
<v Speaker 1>Spirit gun. He got the pin to win the titles. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>we have new Trios tag team champions Ricochet, Toto Leona,
<v Speaker 1>and Bishop Kahn. So the Demand and the Lethal Twist.
<v Speaker 1>They put the boots to the Conglomeration after until Brody
<v Speaker 1>King ran out to the ring to make the save.
<v Speaker 1>He was overwhelmed. Hangman Adam Page's music kids, and he
<v Speaker 1>walks out and he's got a barbed wire, a chair
<v Speaker 1>wrapped in barbed wire, so the heels bailed Jay Lethal.
<v Speaker 1>He tried to sneak in and grabbed the chair and
<v Speaker 1>he pricked himself, I guess, on the bar. So he's
<v Speaker 1>selling his finger now. Meanwhile, Hangman goes to the Apron
<v Speaker 1>and he sets up for the first buckshot lariot that
<v Speaker 1>we have seen I guess since Revolution, and it was
<v Speaker 1>picture perfect, unlike whenever Logan Paul attempts to do it. Thankfully,
<v Speaker 1>I haven't seen Logan Paul even before he got hurt.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't seen him attempt this move in a while,
<v Speaker 1>and I think he should. He should probably leave that
<v Speaker 1>to the pros. So he drops Lethal with the buckshot,
<v Speaker 1>and that was the end of that. We have new
<v Speaker 1>Trios champions. Whatever. That's my attitude about it. I mean again,
<v Speaker 1>I can't really bring myself to care about the trio's
<v Speaker 1>belts all that much, moving them from the conglomeration to
<v Speaker 1>the demand. To me, it's a lateral move in the
<v Speaker 1>grand scheme of things. It doesn't really mean much Where
<v Speaker 1>Hangman fits into this. I don't know. Maybe they're setting
<v Speaker 1>up for a Hangman ricochet match. I don't know. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, but again, Hangman can do whatever he wants. Man,
<v Speaker 1>he's got plenty of titles to choose from. You want
<v Speaker 1>to go after the trio's belts, find two partners. He
<v Speaker 1>actually had two partners previously, Kevin Knight and Speedball. Remember
<v Speaker 1>they wanted to call themselves Horsecock. I forgot whose idea
<v Speaker 1>I think that might have been a was that a
<v Speaker 1>Hangman idea or a Speedball might have been a Speedball idea?
<v Speaker 1>And then the other guy shot it down, so then
<v Speaker 1>they settled on jet Set Rodeo. Jet Set Rodeo is
<v Speaker 1>better than Horsecock. But he can go after the trio's belt.
<v Speaker 1>He can go after the international belt, the national title.
<v Speaker 1>Hangman and Andrade, whoa, there's a match for you outside
<v Speaker 1>the arena. Again, we're an overrun territory. Here we go
<v Speaker 1>outside the arena. The Death Riders answer the challenge from
<v Speaker 1>the Bang Banggang for collision Tomorrow Night. Daniel Garcia then
<v Speaker 1>called out Will Osprey for a match because he got
<v Speaker 1>bitched earlier. He got bitched out earlier. I was gonna
<v Speaker 1>say bitch slapped. It was more like a fucking forearm
<v Speaker 1>or an elbow. So now we're getting a singles match
<v Speaker 1>tomorrow night between Osprey and Daniel Garcia. Moxley complained about
<v Speaker 1>the morality Police, taking issue with the way they do things.
<v Speaker 1>He said what he loves about the Continental Championship is
<v Speaker 1>that it's just about what's in your head and what's
<v Speaker 1>in your heart. He mentioned there being a Continental Cup
<v Speaker 1>to I guess determine his challenger for all in if
<v Speaker 1>his title reign ends and a hail of bullets, so
<v Speaker 1>be it. He's willing to accept that that would be
<v Speaker 1>a hell of a way for his run to to
<v Speaker 1>come to an end. For all this time that he's
<v Speaker 1>been the Continental Champion. The only thing that could take
<v Speaker 1>down John Moxley in a match is just a hail
<v Speaker 1>of bullets. You know, the way some of these plunder
<v Speaker 1>and garbage matches are going in this company, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think we're too far away from it. We just had
<v Speaker 1>Chris Jericho beat Tomaso Champa on Sunday with a fucking
<v Speaker 1>power drill. How long before we see gunfire or knives
<v Speaker 1>in one of these matches. We've had syringes, we've had
<v Speaker 1>pyro explosions, we've had barbed wire, we've had broken glass,
<v Speaker 1>We've had staple guns, We've had everything you could possibly
<v Speaker 1>think of except what I just mentioned. That's the next step.
<v Speaker 1>It's inevitable at this point. John Moxley finally he goes
<v Speaker 1>down in a hal of bullets and finally loses his title.
<v Speaker 1>And again this Continental Cup, I don't fucking know. There
<v Speaker 1>was no discussion about it, there was nothing. There was
<v Speaker 1>a fleeting mention by John Moxley. So I'm not quite
<v Speaker 1>sure what I'm supposed to do with this. We need
<v Speaker 1>more information on how this is going to work, who's
<v Speaker 1>going to be involved. Beyond that, we don't know anything.
<v Speaker 1>And then to close out the sh we had Tony
<v Speaker 1>Shiavanni in the ring finally to introduce the aw World Champion,
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega. All cheers for Omega, by the way, no booze.
<v Speaker 1>Just given the way things ended on Sunday, I was
<v Speaker 1>wondering if it might be more of a mixed reaction,
<v Speaker 1>but all cheers for Omega. He barely got any words
<v Speaker 1>out before will Osbury's music hit and the Challenger headed
<v Speaker 1>to the ring and Omega said, it's fine. Cut the music.
<v Speaker 1>Let's make it fun as they did in Kindergarten Show
<v Speaker 1>and Tell. He said it Redemption. Actually I think he
<v Speaker 1>said the kinder Garden. He said it in a very
<v Speaker 1>weird way, kind of like when he was talking about
<v Speaker 1>MJF a few weeks ago and he couldn't say the
<v Speaker 1>name Maxwell. I'll never get over that called him like
<v Speaker 1>maxib It's different things that Kenny Omega apparently is unable
<v Speaker 1>to say said at Redemption. He showed Osprey how he
<v Speaker 1>felt and it didn't matter if the fans in the
<v Speaker 1>moment misunderstood. He thought Osprey would get it. Maybe they
<v Speaker 1>move on to the tell part of Show and Tell.
<v Speaker 1>Omega said, Osbury means the world to him, and he
<v Speaker 1>brought up the promise that they made to one another
<v Speaker 1>to try their best to win the big one, win
<v Speaker 1>the world title. Every time Omega put friendship before the belt,
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent of the time goes. Let's face it,
<v Speaker 1>the whole reason that he let Osprey enter the Owen
<v Speaker 1>Heart Tournament is to see him have success on his own.
<v Speaker 1>But how did he repay Kenny? He told Kenny that
<v Speaker 1>it really sucks that Kenny gave up on himself. Does
<v Speaker 1>it look like I've given up? And he holds up
<v Speaker 1>the championship and everybody cheers. Osprey will never be one
<v Speaker 1>to talk down to him again. And even though he
<v Speaker 1>gave him plenty of warnings about John Moxley and the
<v Speaker 1>Death Riders, what's his excuse now that it blew up
<v Speaker 1>in his face? So Ospray said that he came back
<v Speaker 1>too early from next surgery because he came back for revenge.
<v Speaker 1>And when he finally thought he had it, it slipped
<v Speaker 1>through his fingers. And in that moment, he had no
<v Speaker 1>friends that he could turn to. No Kyle, no Davis,
<v Speaker 1>no Callum Newman, no Kenny Omega. But who saved him,
<v Speaker 1>the guy who took away his old life, the guy
<v Speaker 1>he had so much hatred for, the guy who gave
<v Speaker 1>him an opportunity. Osprey didn't see the guy who broke
<v Speaker 1>his neck. He saw the former four time champion who
<v Speaker 1>could take him to where he needed to be if
<v Speaker 1>Omega wants. Honestly, Osprey liked being a death writer. He
<v Speaker 1>liked it. He liked the camaraderie, he liked the training.
<v Speaker 1>He liked feeling like he did back when he was
<v Speaker 1>in Japan with a bunch of killers watching his back.
<v Speaker 1>He understood why they're so protective of this place. But
<v Speaker 1>that's where it ends, says he doesn't share their philosophy.
<v Speaker 1>When he saw Omega with or when Osprey saw Omega
<v Speaker 1>with a chair wrapped around his neck, the same thing
<v Speaker 1>the death Riders did to him. He couldn't stand by
<v Speaker 1>and watch someone he loves go through what he went through,
<v Speaker 1>so Omega says he remembers on Sunday after the match,
<v Speaker 1>he got beat up for minutes. It felt like hours,
<v Speaker 1>feeling that chair around his neck, no energy to fight back.
<v Speaker 1>All he could do was close his eyes and accept
<v Speaker 1>his fate, which is when he heard the cheers and
<v Speaker 1>somehow he knew that Osprey was there to save him.
<v Speaker 1>But when the minutes felt like an eternity, he took
<v Speaker 1>the chair off himself. He stood up and there Will
<v Speaker 1>Osprey was holding Omega's championship. And the reason it took
<v Speaker 1>Ospbury so long to help was because he even contemplated
<v Speaker 1>using the plastic bag to begin with. Now this is
<v Speaker 1>where again, this felt forced to me, and I pointed
<v Speaker 1>this out on TNT last night and uncrowned. If you
<v Speaker 1>watch back that closing segment on the pay per view
<v Speaker 1>on SID, Kenny Omega is down and Kenny Omega is
<v Speaker 1>not looking at anything that's going on in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He's facing in the opposite direction. So when will Osprey
<v Speaker 1>is handed the plastic bag by John Moxley and he's
<v Speaker 1>standing there and he's looking at it very intensely, and
<v Speaker 1>he's shaky, literally shaking and contemplating, you know, what he's
<v Speaker 1>going to do, and then ultimately he makes the right decision, right,
<v Speaker 1>he's not going to kill his friend, and he opts
<v Speaker 1>to attack the death Riders. Omega didn't see any of this.
<v Speaker 1>Omega didn't see any of it. How does he know?
<v Speaker 1>They're trying to explain it here in this segment, and
<v Speaker 1>it's just it's so forced to me. And so that's
<v Speaker 1>the thing. If they would have just handled that segment
<v Speaker 1>a little bit different on Sunday, where he actually could
<v Speaker 1>see what was going on, he's down in the corner
<v Speaker 1>or something, then I might look at it a little
<v Speaker 1>bit differently. But the way he's explaining it and getting
<v Speaker 1>all even on Sunday when he got all upset and everything,
<v Speaker 1>he's holding the plastic bag in his hand after he
<v Speaker 1>dropped ospray on his head. He's like, you know, he's
<v Speaker 1>pointing to the bag. I'm like, yeah, but how does
<v Speaker 1>he know? He sees a ripped up plastic bag on
<v Speaker 1>the floor and he assumes, wow, boy, you know you
<v Speaker 1>were you were thinking about doing it, weren't you. How
<v Speaker 1>you know how you know? He doesn't because he didn't
<v Speaker 1>see it. Omega slapped him in the face, said I
<v Speaker 1>thought you were my friend. He sounded like Batista with Raymistereo.
<v Speaker 1>I thought you were my friend, he said. Osprey said,
<v Speaker 1>I was your friend. Omega then asks, well, what am
<v Speaker 1>I to you now? And he kept on slapping, and
<v Speaker 1>he slapped him again and again, and as he went
<v Speaker 1>to go slap him one more time, Osprey returned the
<v Speaker 1>favor and knocked him down on his ass. And then
<v Speaker 1>he backed up and he teased the hidden blade, and
<v Speaker 1>when Omega turned around, Ospray stopped short and so now
<v Speaker 1>Kenny is down on the mat on his ass. He
<v Speaker 1>rolls out of the ring to the ramp like a
<v Speaker 1>heel to bail and get the hell out of there.
<v Speaker 1>Ospray now has the ring all to himself, and he says,
<v Speaker 1>no matter how much he loves Omega, if he puts
<v Speaker 1>his hands on him, he'll kick the shit out of him.
<v Speaker 1>And everybody cheered since day one. Ospray reminded the fans
<v Speaker 1>while Omega was gone that this is where the best
<v Speaker 1>wrestle and he's earned his spot to challenge for that
<v Speaker 1>world title. Standing before him is the biggest mountain that
<v Speaker 1>he's been wanting to climb for ten years. As winners
<v Speaker 1>want the ball, right, the ace wants the ball, Ospray
<v Speaker 1>wants the ball. Ninety minutes are done, extra time is done,
<v Speaker 1>they're into penalties now, and it's his turn to kick
<v Speaker 1>the ball. Ospray has an entire country depending on him
<v Speaker 1>to bor entire hometown, as Tony Schavani would say, He's
<v Speaker 1>got an entire country on his side to bring this
<v Speaker 1>thing home. They're all asking if he can pull the tree. Says,
<v Speaker 1>you're damn right. I can pull the trigger. But he
<v Speaker 1>won't do it from behind like Omega did, or like
<v Speaker 1>how Moxley wanted him to. He's pulling the trigger when
<v Speaker 1>it matters the most, when the title is on the
<v Speaker 1>line and Omega is going to see it coming. It's
<v Speaker 1>like cmpunk with Cody Rhoads. Me tell Cody, see I
<v Speaker 1>told you a long time ago. I'm not gonna stab
<v Speaker 1>you in the back. I'm gonna stab you in the front.
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot of parallels here between these two stories
<v Speaker 1>that are going on heading into SummerSlam this weekend, and
<v Speaker 1>then all in so, as far as this segment, it
<v Speaker 1>was very long. And again, there was no reason for
<v Speaker 1>this show to go thirty five minutes overtime. Okay, there's
<v Speaker 1>there's like an overrun, and then there's whatever the fuck
<v Speaker 1>this was. And I look back at the show, you
<v Speaker 1>could pick different segments that could have been cut from
<v Speaker 1>the show to get you to maybe a five or
<v Speaker 1>ten minute overrun. They didn't need to go to ten
<v Speaker 1>thirty five. I'm sorry, that's ridiculous. That being said, I
<v Speaker 1>thought it was I thought it was good. I was
<v Speaker 1>not as much a fan of Kenny's promo as I
<v Speaker 1>was Osprey's. I liked the Osprey's promo and I like
<v Speaker 1>the fire from him there at the end. He looked
<v Speaker 1>like somebody who was lock the fuck in and the
<v Speaker 1>World Championship is the most important thing in the world
<v Speaker 1>to him, and no more of this like I love
<v Speaker 1>you stuff, I respect you. It's like, Okay, you don't
<v Speaker 1>think I can do it. You don't think I can
<v Speaker 1>drop the kill shot, you don't think I can be
<v Speaker 1>that guy. Okay, you'll find out. You'll find out at Wembley.
<v Speaker 1>Kenny's out there and he just again his promos. It's
<v Speaker 1>just very hit or miss. And then some of the
<v Speaker 1>stuff here was very forced coming out of that angle
<v Speaker 1>from Sunday, because that's not how it really came off
<v Speaker 1>if you watch the segment on Sunday. But I'm I'm
<v Speaker 1>glad that we are kind of moving in the direction
<v Speaker 1>of like, Okay, these two they don't like each other. Now,
<v Speaker 1>what's gonna happen? What other what other you know, incidents.
<v Speaker 1>So they're gonna be between these two, they're gonna be
<v Speaker 1>a big pull apart brawl. Are they gonna be part
<v Speaker 1>of the same match? Can they coexist? I mean, you
<v Speaker 1>can go through all the usual tropes. I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>at some point we'll probably get something something like that.
<v Speaker 1>You gotta keep things interesting, right, You still got many
<v Speaker 1>more weeks left to go, but this was a strong start.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just happy they were on the show and they
<v Speaker 1>didn't just close with the fucking Demand against the Conglomeration.
<v Speaker 1>Imagine if they just went off the air with that,
<v Speaker 1>we have new trios champions. The Demand now or the
<v Speaker 1>Trio's champions. Who gives a shit. I want to see
<v Speaker 1>the men who were in the main event of the
<v Speaker 1>pay per view that are coming up, and that's what
<v Speaker 1>we got. Kenny came up very heelish towards the end
<v Speaker 1>of this segment. Very interesting how he walked into total
<v Speaker 1>cheers by the end there. I don't want to say
<v Speaker 1>he was getting booed, but Osprey was getting the cheers.
<v Speaker 1>And the way Kenny rolled out and everything, and the
<v Speaker 1>way he was acting, he came off very heelish. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if that's a sign that this this is
<v Speaker 1>how they're going to position the two of them as
<v Speaker 1>we head into London, or they may just kind of
<v Speaker 1>have Kenny like straddle the line a little bit. So
<v Speaker 1>I thought that was kind of interesting. But on the
<v Speaker 1>whole I like the show. You know, I could pick
<v Speaker 1>the parts that I didn't like. But as compared to
<v Speaker 1>so many of these post pay per view episodes of Dynamite,
<v Speaker 1>this one felt like, Okay, we got the key players
<v Speaker 1>are here and they're being featured, and we got some
<v Speaker 1>strong promo work to highlight the big matches that we
<v Speaker 1>know so far, we still don't know where a lot
<v Speaker 1>of other people are going to be slotted in on
<v Speaker 1>this card. Hangman, Right, he's back, what's he going to
<v Speaker 1>be doing? Is he going to be in the Gauntlet?
<v Speaker 1>Do the rules prevent him from being able to take
<v Speaker 1>part in the Casino Gauntlet? I would think they would.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna need a little clarification on that from Tony Kahan.
<v Speaker 1>So what's Hangman going to be doing? Is MJF going
<v Speaker 1>to be healthy back in time for the show. It
<v Speaker 1>certainly feels to me like the match for him at
<v Speaker 1>all In is going to be Andrade. Andrade still has
<v Speaker 1>the Dynamite Diamond ring he's talking about. He's smiling, I
<v Speaker 1>got your ring. I screwed you. I got your ring.
<v Speaker 1>And unfortunately they're not going to be doing the match
<v Speaker 1>at Arena Mexico next week, but we have to be
<v Speaker 1>getting MJF and Andrade, And I'm just thinking all In
<v Speaker 1>is what would make the most sense? Have they not announced,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, a match for Andrade? They have, right,
<v Speaker 1>He's going to be in that qualifying match next week, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>we just don't know who it's going to be against. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because I was gonna say to not announce a match
<v Speaker 1>for him for Arena Mexico in advance next week is
<v Speaker 1>crazy to me. But I guess we just don't know
<v Speaker 1>who the opponent is going to be yet. Maybe we'll
<v Speaker 1>find out tomorrow night. But anyway, good start here on
<v Speaker 1>the kickoff to this road to Wembley. Let me go
<v Speaker 1>through your chats here. If you have any questions, this
<v Speaker 1>would be a good time to get him on in
<v Speaker 1>and any thoughts you may have. On tonight's episode of Dynamites,
<v Speaker 1>we'll starry with death scythe Hey death Syth Are you?
<v Speaker 1>Are you on death ground? John Moxley says, well, Osbury
<v Speaker 1>is operating on death ground. I think death Sithe is
<v Speaker 1>it's on death ground every week that Roderick makes a
<v Speaker 1>very interesting point here he goes Hangman said his world
<v Speaker 1>title ban was not put on paper. That is true,
<v Speaker 1>there's no actual contract that he's being held to. He says,
<v Speaker 1>you once said that the Wyatt Sixes gimmick had a
<v Speaker 1>shelf life? Can the same be said for Dan Housen. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>every gimmick like that has a shelf life? Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 1>dan Housen, I guess our truth is sort of I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I've grown tired of some of his stick, not that
<v Speaker 1>I don't want him there. I just wish he was
<v Speaker 1>doing something different. But he's kind of timeless in many ways.
<v Speaker 1>But so many of these, especially comedy gimmicks with some exceptions,
<v Speaker 1>and then you have other gimmicks like supernatural type stuff.
<v Speaker 1>They all have a shelf life. Also, if WWE's goal
<v Speaker 1>on Monday was to get me to turn against Dan Housen,
<v Speaker 1>well mission accomplished because Dan Housen has officially jumped the shark.
<v Speaker 1>Oh and for that, brother, you are cursed. Give me backshots.
<v Speaker 1>Solemn Monster says, Hey solo, Mariah Carey might be behind
<v Speaker 1>this account. How the mighty have fallen? If she is
<v Speaker 1>dry Chicken says, every time I see these baddies in
<v Speaker 1>the crowd or with Androte, my jacuzzi turns ice cold.
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna say, you could use a cold shower there, brother.
<v Speaker 1>So the title doesn't make the man. The man makes
<v Speaker 1>the title. That's a WWE philosophy. I still believe in
<v Speaker 1>the title makes the man philosophy in wrestling. Well, you
<v Speaker 1>may believe in that, but that's not how it's supposed
<v Speaker 1>to work. The title is a prop on the show.
<v Speaker 1>The title is what you make of it, and really,
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the day, you're not pushing the title.
<v Speaker 1>You're pushing the talent. People are not necessarily gonna buy
<v Speaker 1>a ticket to a show for the title. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you can put the title on anybody. Doesn't mean people
<v Speaker 1>are gonna buy a ticket to go to the show
<v Speaker 1>to see whoever the champion is. When Jack Swagger was
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight champion, I promise you not a single
<v Speaker 1>person was buying a ticket to go see Jack Swagger
<v Speaker 1>defend the world title or Jinder Mahal defend the WWE Championship. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>that wasn't happening. It comes down to the talent, the man,
<v Speaker 1>the woman. Who are they? Are you invested in them?
<v Speaker 1>You're gonna push them? Are they getting over? If they
<v Speaker 1>get over? By getting over, they in effect will help
<v Speaker 1>elevate the world title to the status that you want
<v Speaker 1>it to be at. It's not supposed to be the
<v Speaker 1>title makes the man. It's supposed to be the man
<v Speaker 1>makes the title. That's what I believe says that Will
<v Speaker 1>Osprey promo tonight was fire. It was it was good.
<v Speaker 1>We need to give love to Hangman, Moxley Swerve, Mark Davis,
<v Speaker 1>and Kenny Omega for being part of Osprey's story for
<v Speaker 1>the world title. Always give credit to Mark Davis says
<v Speaker 1>this won't be a prediction. Wwe could be tempted to
<v Speaker 1>give brock Lesner another win against Oba Femei. Yeah, that's
<v Speaker 1>not happening, says EO. Sky should defeat Liv Morgan, but
<v Speaker 1>Creative could be tempted to keep the women's title on live.
<v Speaker 1>I love how you're going. You're taking a fifty to
<v Speaker 1>fifty approach on all of this, so he can't be wrong. Well,
<v Speaker 1>they should do this, but I think they'll do this,
<v Speaker 1>and they may be tempted to do this, but maybe
<v Speaker 1>they'll do this. It's like years ago, I don't remember
<v Speaker 1>who it was, somebody sent in a super chat. This
<v Speaker 1>was leading into the G one and they were like,
<v Speaker 1>my picks to win the G one and they named,
<v Speaker 1>like whatever, the one or two people they thought were
<v Speaker 1>gonna win. And then they go and my dark horse
<v Speaker 1>picks are this guy, this guy, this guy, this guy,
<v Speaker 1>or this guy. I'm like, why don't you just name
<v Speaker 1>everybody in the whole fucking tournament. That's not how this
<v Speaker 1>is supposed to work. You have a pick, and then
<v Speaker 1>you could pick a dark horse. But you can't pick
<v Speaker 1>six or seven people that doesn't count. You can't do that.
<v Speaker 1>That's not allowed. Barry with the fourteen dollars super chats
<v Speaker 1>how bad it's what if live helps dan Housen beat
<v Speaker 1>Dom and then on Rawsch'll say that she did it
<v Speaker 1>because dan Housen has more monies, so she's a gold digger. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't. I don't think they're gonna do that. You're
<v Speaker 1>advocating for more, Dan House. Do you realize what you're doing, Barry.
<v Speaker 1>You're doing the opposite of what they should be doing.
<v Speaker 1>I can't get behind that. Darryl Strawberry is with us.
<v Speaker 1>Have you ever eaten Ethiopian food? It's really good and
<v Speaker 1>there women are very pretty. Also, Seth Rollins looks like
<v Speaker 1>Bryce Harper to me, he does? He does? Who is
<v Speaker 1>the baseball player Jason Worth who looks like Adam Cole?
<v Speaker 1>One of them looks like Adam Copeland. I think it's
<v Speaker 1>Jason Worth. Have I ever eaten Ethiopian food? I think
<v Speaker 1>I did once. I'm trying it was so if I did,
<v Speaker 1>if it's the cuisine that I'm remembering, and maybe it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't Ethiopian, but it was like I was a lot younger.
<v Speaker 1>I was many many years ago, and I just ended
<v Speaker 1>up having a peda bread. I don't think I had
<v Speaker 1>anything else. I think I just literally ate pita bread.
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember if it was Ethiopian though, or riatre
<v Speaker 1>in food. I wouldn't even be able to name any dishes.
<v Speaker 1>So I mean, for all intents and purposes, I'll say no.
<v Speaker 1>I may have to try it, though, now that you've
<v Speaker 1>endorsed it, Liam with a twelve incredible show Tonight would
<v Speaker 1>have had my sound off sign again, but I hurt
<v Speaker 1>my back at work and my wife hurt her ankle
<v Speaker 1>on the stairs, so we needed all the chair space
<v Speaker 1>that we could get. Love the show solo, Well, I'm
<v Speaker 1>sorry that you guys are the walking wounded right now.
<v Speaker 1>I hope you feel better, but I appreciate the thought.
<v Speaker 1>This is always next time. In fact, they have a
<v Speaker 1>show tomorrow. If you're all healed up by tomorrow, if
<v Speaker 1>you can go tomorrow. Darryl Strawberry, what is the worst
<v Speaker 1>expressway between these four? The Van Wick, the Cross Bronx,
<v Speaker 1>the Long Island or the Brooklyn Queen's Expressway Van Wick.
<v Speaker 1>The answer is the Van Wick. See even Keith Andrew
<v Speaker 1>Miller agrees with me. He probably doesn't even know what
<v Speaker 1>the van Wick is. Just take my word for a brother.
<v Speaker 1>It is the worst love the Lord with a ten
<v Speaker 1>dollars super chat. I hope we see Athena versus maya
<v Speaker 1>world for the TBS Championship at all in London. Best
<v Speaker 1>Wednesday night Dynamite since Beach Break that I would agree with.
<v Speaker 1>Says maybe we will see Rhino and MotorCity machine Guns tomorrow. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's right. Rhino was being brought in and then I
<v Speaker 1>heard nothing about Rhino actually being like in a dark
<v Speaker 1>match or anything like that. So very possible he will
<v Speaker 1>be at Collision tomorrow and the machine Guns as well.
<v Speaker 1>I think Rhino was. I think Rhino said he was
<v Speaker 1>hoping to do something with copin Christian A lot of
<v Speaker 1>history with those threes. I don't know if they're he's
<v Speaker 1>going to get that chance or not, but that's what
<v Speaker 1>he was hoping. Gold Matthew mount Rushmore of Samoans in
<v Speaker 1>terms of in ring, I don't know. I've never thought
<v Speaker 1>about it. I don't really have a mount Rushmore of Samoan.
<v Speaker 1>Yoko Zoo would be on there. Roman has to be
<v Speaker 1>on there, just I mean for the body of work
<v Speaker 1>he's put together. You don't even have to necessarily have
<v Speaker 1>Roman on your list as like your favorite wrestler, but
<v Speaker 1>you can't deny He's been part of a lot of
<v Speaker 1>killer matches over the years, including one at WrestleMania this year,
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania last year, WrestleMania forty, WrestleMania thirty nine. That was
<v Speaker 1>an excellent match too, until the finish. The guys had
<v Speaker 1>banger matches at four straight WrestleManias. That's not an accident.
<v Speaker 1>Even that last match he had with Brock at SummerSlam
<v Speaker 1>a few years ago, the Last Man's Standing match. So
<v Speaker 1>Roman is on there. I'd put Yoko on there. I
<v Speaker 1>mean Rock Rock would have to be on there. And
<v Speaker 1>who would be the fourth? I don't know. It's not
<v Speaker 1>the yeat Man. I don't know who the fourth is.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't think about that combat theater. Actually, what about uh?
<v Speaker 1>What about Umaga? How would you feel about Umaga being
<v Speaker 1>on that list? He had some good matches him and
<v Speaker 1>Jeff Hardy. That was a fun feud. Ah Samoa Joe.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, the words Samoa is literally literally it is
<v Speaker 1>name fach. How could I forget Samoa Joe? I just
<v Speaker 1>talked about his Dark Side of the Ring episode last week.
<v Speaker 1>All right, So if we have to narrow it down
<v Speaker 1>to four, we have Rock, we have Joe, Roman, Rock, Roman, Joe,
<v Speaker 1>and Yokam. I'm comfortable with that. Put them in whatever
<v Speaker 1>order you want to put them in. God, how did
<v Speaker 1>I leave off Samoa Joe? Combat Theater says, well, you
<v Speaker 1>watch the New Spider Man, and who is your favorite
<v Speaker 1>Spider Man. I may eventually watch the New Spider Man.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like I shouldn't, though, just because I have
<v Speaker 1>a lot of catching up to do when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to the MCU if I want to get caught up
<v Speaker 1>before Avengers Doomsday in December. You guys gave me a
<v Speaker 1>lot of great feedback to that tweet that I put
<v Speaker 1>up last week. Unfortunately, I have like twenty two films
<v Speaker 1>I think I'm supposed to be watching. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>that's gonna happen. The last Spider Man I saw was
<v Speaker 1>Toby maguire was still Spider Man, so I'll go Toby Maguire.
<v Speaker 1>I never saw any of the Andrew Garfield movies. I
<v Speaker 1>haven't seen any of the Tom Holland stuff. I don't
<v Speaker 1>really have a great frame of reference for it, you know,
<v Speaker 1>outside of Toby McGuire. Isaac says, your thoughts on the
<v Speaker 1>Camp Crystal Lake trailer. I liked it. I remember first
<v Speaker 1>reading about that series being in development. I actually was
<v Speaker 1>copied on something. There was a there was a gig
<v Speaker 1>that popped up for some background extras, and unfortunately the
<v Speaker 1>casting call had just expired like the day before. Otherwise
<v Speaker 1>I would have applied to be on the show. Is
<v Speaker 1>like a background like extra. I mean, they may not
<v Speaker 1>have picked me, but I was like, man, I could
<v Speaker 1>have been on the show. Missed my chance. Maybe next time.
<v Speaker 1>And EJ Slim fifty years ago today was son of
<v Speaker 1>Sam's first murder, says, you weren't born yet. Did you
<v Speaker 1>ever hear stories about him the Blackout, heat Wave or
<v Speaker 1>the seventy seven Yankees drama? Sure, I heard plenty of
<v Speaker 1>stories about it. Wasn't in the middle of it or
<v Speaker 1>anything like that. Saw the movie many years ago, but
<v Speaker 1>I didn't live it in the way that other people, obviously,
<v Speaker 1>you know, lived it in New York. It was a
<v Speaker 1>very scary time. We have EJ again. We've got our
<v Speaker 1>own Van Wick in Chicago, the Dan Ryan and the Trist,
<v Speaker 1>the tri state alone is one of the many reasons
<v Speaker 1>why I avoid O'Hare like the plague. Really, it's the
<v Speaker 1>only airport I fly in and out of when I
<v Speaker 1>go to Chicago. Is O'Hare. Well, at least it's not
<v Speaker 1>La where you can apparently walk out of your house
<v Speaker 1>and you could see the restaurant down the road that
<v Speaker 1>you want to go to and it takes you at
<v Speaker 1>thirty seven minutes to drive there. See that? To me,
<v Speaker 1>that would be hell on Earth. If Luise was in
<v Speaker 1>the chat with us tonight, I would add, because Luise
<v Speaker 1>is from LA, I would ask Luis for his personal
<v Speaker 1>perspective on that LA traffic sounds like an absolute fucking nightmare. Solo.
<v Speaker 1>I'll never forget that rent you did on the van
<v Speaker 1>Wick when those birds, Yeah, the birds, the fucking birds,
<v Speaker 1>the brawling birds. Yeah, don't get me started on the birds.
<v Speaker 1>That was a bad day. Hey, James, there he is,
<v Speaker 1>James says, I live hell on Earth. He's James. I
<v Speaker 1>saw James last time I was in Los Angeles. James
<v Speaker 1>came out to the House of Glory show, which, by
<v Speaker 1>the way, is a good time for me to plug
<v Speaker 1>real quick. Next Friday, not this Friday. Next Friday, August seventh,
<v Speaker 1>after Summer Slim is House of Glory High Intensity, and
<v Speaker 1>for the first time, we will be streaming the event
<v Speaker 1>live in full in free on our YouTube channel, the
<v Speaker 1>official House of Glory YouTube channel. You'll get to hear
<v Speaker 1>me on commentary and who knows, maybe doing other stuff.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. We got a lot of big names,
<v Speaker 1>a lot of big matches on that show. You could
<v Speaker 1>check out what they all are in our social media,
<v Speaker 1>but hopefully we will see some of you in the chat.
<v Speaker 1>We'll be keeping track of what's going on. It'll be
<v Speaker 1>a big night. Are leon oh one? What's the over
<v Speaker 1>under on kickouts for osprey omega? Oh my god? They
<v Speaker 1>should list that on Calshi. People can take bets on
<v Speaker 1>how many kickouts they're gonna be in that match. Fucking polymarket.
<v Speaker 1>If I had a venture, I guess as to how
<v Speaker 1>many near falls we're gonna have in that match. No
<v Speaker 1>less than thirty, No less than thirty. It's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>out of control, all right. Friday we got the SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>post show, the final stream for the month of July,
<v Speaker 1>the final stream before SummerSlam. I will be streaming for
<v Speaker 1>both nights of SummerSlam. It's gonna be like WrestleMania all
<v Speaker 1>over again. WrestleMania is our biggest week end of the year.
<v Speaker 1>Can we try to match that this weekend? It's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be a big weekend. Nonetheless, Hopefully, you guys, even if
<v Speaker 1>you're not watching SummerSlam, even if you're totally disenchanted with
<v Speaker 1>the WWE product, and many of you are, I hope
<v Speaker 1>to see you here with me for the full recaps
<v Speaker 1>on both nights, and unlike WrestleMania a week and I
<v Speaker 1>will be doing a SoundOff as well, so you'll get
<v Speaker 1>the sound off. You'll get my Dark Side of the
<v Speaker 1>Ring review on the Big boss Man episode that aired
<v Speaker 1>last night. I was not expecting by the way. I
<v Speaker 1>watch The Dark Side of the Ring every week and
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of sad stories. And I watched the
<v Speaker 1>boss Man one this morning and there's a part of
<v Speaker 1>the episode where I started crying. It got to me
<v Speaker 1>that hasn't happened in a while, but I did cry
<v Speaker 1>during this episode. So we'll talk about that this weekend.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, by the way, for all the feedback to
<v Speaker 1>the Uncrowned episode that dropped yesterday. Uncrowned Wrestling show you
<v Speaker 1>get more of me. If you didn't listen to it,
<v Speaker 1>go check it out. Longest episode I've done minutes and
<v Speaker 1>that is up for your listening pleasure right now as well.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, if you want to watch that episode,
<v Speaker 1>the Big boss Man episode of Dark Side of the Ring,
<v Speaker 1>they are posting all the episodes. They don't even wait
<v Speaker 1>that long. It's like that night. They post the full
<v Speaker 1>episodes on the it's not the Dark Side of the
<v Speaker 1>Ring YouTube channel. It's the official Vice TV YouTube channel,
<v Speaker 1>which has like two millions subs. They post the full
<v Speaker 1>episodes on there. So the boss Man one is up.
<v Speaker 1>If you haven't seen it, go check it out. It's
<v Speaker 1>a good one. All right, Be well, stay safe. How
<v Speaker 1>are we doing on the likes? Yeah, we didn't hit
<v Speaker 1>the goal. We did not hit the goal that we
<v Speaker 1>were at four ninety on the likes. As you could see,
<v Speaker 1>the wheel said six hundred. I figured that was a
<v Speaker 1>long shot to begin with. It's a Wednesday. It's a Wednesday.
<v Speaker 1>What do you expect. We'll try again on Friday. Bring
<v Speaker 1>the thumbs, bring your thumbs. We'll get enough likes. We'll
<v Speaker 1>do be the booker on Friday. Be well, stay safe,
<v Speaker 1>have yourselves a great rest of your nights. Thank you
<v Speaker 1>for all the love, thank you for the ninety three thousand,
<v Speaker 1>and come on back here on Friday for the SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>post show. Until then, take care, guys,
