<v Speaker 1>Jarrey, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>I thought we had almost lost Katie there for a
<v Speaker 2>second right before we went on the air, was choking.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't want to have to do mouth to mouth,
<v Speaker 2>but that's what it came to. You were I stuck
<v Speaker 2>my tongue in your mouth.
<v Speaker 1>No, all right, this is hard to talk, breathe and
<v Speaker 1>drink stuff.
<v Speaker 2>You know, we're all emotional too. When you were talking
<v Speaker 2>and she was talking about Chicago guy again.
<v Speaker 1>I was really fired up.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you're trying to kill yourself.
<v Speaker 3>What did take yourself?
<v Speaker 1>Wo? Happened so fast? But no, I'm fine. Everything's okay, good, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we're back.
<v Speaker 2>God, I got to hear about this wild weather day
<v Speaker 2>that you were part of yesterday. Some riveting stuff here.
<v Speaker 1>Well, driving south on I twenty five south of the city. Here,
<v Speaker 1>if you saw any of that lightning at like four
<v Speaker 1>o'clock ish, right, it was like three four o'clock that
<v Speaker 1>this all happened. Oh my goodness, the kind of lightning
<v Speaker 1>that like you see it from the sky go all
<v Speaker 1>the way down to the ground, stayed there for like
<v Speaker 1>two three.
<v Speaker 2>Seconds for a little bit. Did you shopping? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Fresh, but no I've never seen lightning do that. And
<v Speaker 1>the entire light was just lighting up like fireworks the.
<v Speaker 2>Sky, the sky.
<v Speaker 1>But Josh, you said you saw too because you were running.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, if you saw lightning yesterday, wild right, I can't
<v Speaker 2>believe you.
<v Speaker 1>I know you're just jealous.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't get to see any lightning yesterday.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. No, it was these afternoon summer storms.
<v Speaker 2>Wow.
<v Speaker 1>They didn't see them coming at all.
<v Speaker 2>And it rained on your clean car. Don't even okay,
<v Speaker 2>if I already choked one, I ask you, did you
<v Speaker 2>go to one of those car wash places where if
<v Speaker 2>it rains, like within twenty four hours, you can sit
<v Speaker 2>back in.
<v Speaker 1>I think, But like, what if you don't have your receipt?
<v Speaker 1>How do you make that happen? Can I show them?
<v Speaker 1>Because it shows up on my you know.
<v Speaker 2>Statement probaly could show like.
<v Speaker 1>Literally yesterday after the show, I went and zipped through
<v Speaker 1>a car wash, got her all done, car looked great,
<v Speaker 1>and I went to go have lunch and it torrentially
<v Speaker 1>downpoured on my car.
<v Speaker 4>Day.
<v Speaker 1>I know it's jermy, You have no idea, no wonder I'm.
<v Speaker 2>Choking overing was on the ground and it rained on
<v Speaker 2>your car functioning. I think you could probably roll. And
<v Speaker 2>it's generally a bunch of dudes at those car washes.
<v Speaker 2>You probably could just flash them in the what you threw.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't work, That does work.
<v Speaker 2>You're right done there, honestly, I know it. It does work.
<v Speaker 1>It's like currency.
<v Speaker 2>Time for a little sports update. I was perusing this
<v Speaker 2>story that came out from bro Bid bro Bible yesterday
<v Speaker 2>of the twenty priceiest sports cards ever sold. And I
<v Speaker 2>always shake my head at these stories because it's like,
<v Speaker 2>it's a little piece of cardboard.
<v Speaker 1>It's a little teeny tiny piece of cardboard that holds
<v Speaker 1>so much, so much value you and so many just memory.
<v Speaker 2>It is amazing. It's ridiculous, is what it is. Number
<v Speaker 2>one was the Michael Jordan Kobe Bryant two thousand and
<v Speaker 2>seven Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Dual Logo Man Autographed card.
<v Speaker 2>WHOA that's been pack thirteen million dollars for a piece
<v Speaker 2>of cardboard.
<v Speaker 3>Well that one, I mean obviously, because pretty solid, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Said j Actually the second most expensive piece of sports
<v Speaker 2>memorabilia ever sold, after the Jersey Babe Ruth war when
<v Speaker 2>he called his shot back in nineteen thirty two at
<v Speaker 2>the World Series. Katie you were there, that sold for
<v Speaker 2>just shy of twenty five million dollars. But yeah, I
<v Speaker 2>just saw these and I'm like, wow, there's so much
<v Speaker 2>money going out on sports cards. It's absolutely nutty Wagner.
<v Speaker 2>I think, yeah, seven point twenty five million, that one was.
<v Speaker 4>The most expensive for a while, and I'm like, who
<v Speaker 4>the heck is that guy played in like the nineteen tens.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was number three on the list. Mickey Mantle
<v Speaker 2>is second at thirteen million.
<v Speaker 1>When you talk about that Babe Ruth moment, though, like
<v Speaker 1>you just say it and everybody sees the picture of
<v Speaker 1>him pointing to the state the Great Bambino, like that
<v Speaker 1>is such a niconic image, and so I can understand
<v Speaker 1>why it holds so much value along with it. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>come on, babe.
<v Speaker 2>You yeah, it's from a movie, Okay. And then one
<v Speaker 2>final thing for all the athletes who need a little
<v Speaker 2>recovery time, Nike is going to be dropping some limited
<v Speaker 2>edition slides. Slides are very popular right now. They're called
<v Speaker 2>recovery slides, which heat and massage your feet as you're
<v Speaker 2>laying around the house watching Netflix. You gotta put them
<v Speaker 2>on your feet, don't use them for anything else. Don't
<v Speaker 2>you do it? But they do heat and massage.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, who wouldn't want that though?
<v Speaker 2>Come on, yeah, it does sound pretty.
<v Speaker 1>Nice, way better than most men.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah right, so yes, slide goes on while you're watching.
<v Speaker 1>Them dube and yeah, no, I love that.
<v Speaker 2>What else is going on in purchase?
<v Speaker 3>Well, Broncos training camp is ramping up.
<v Speaker 4>Tomorrow is the first first day for public viewing, which
<v Speaker 4>is going to be so exciting. I know the crowd
<v Speaker 4>is going to be great there.
<v Speaker 3>Tomorrow.
<v Speaker 4>They're going to be met with a massive new building
<v Speaker 4>that the Broncos head set up over the last couple
<v Speaker 4>of years, the three story, two hundred and five thousand
<v Speaker 4>square foot training facility.
<v Speaker 2>It's ridiculous.
<v Speaker 4>All the bells and whistles, from a player friendly locker
<v Speaker 4>room designed to promote a social atmosphere Jerry Series into
<v Speaker 4>the cafeteria to underground parking facility.
<v Speaker 3>Has it all.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, we saw pictures. They just released it yesterday. Quinn
<v Speaker 4>Miners is the all star guard there. He says, this
<v Speaker 4>is absolutely ridiculous.
<v Speaker 2>It's ridiculous. It is so over the top for these
<v Speaker 2>guys to go sit around on couches and have snacks
<v Speaker 2>and stuff it's so over the top, it's ridiculous. No,
<v Speaker 2>let's get some facilities like this for some of our
<v Speaker 2>firefighters and police officers and I agree, and teachers and nurses.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but you can't take away what the players, because
<v Speaker 1>that's the thing is something like that is kind of
<v Speaker 1>like a draw to players coming to Denver.
<v Speaker 4>And that's that's the main point you want to drop
<v Speaker 4>Colorado for for almost every sport has kind of been
<v Speaker 4>the flyover state. And because we are a championship city, Nuggets, Apps,
<v Speaker 4>Broncos too much. Champions okay, and so you need to
<v Speaker 4>have other things other than hey, we're a good team.
<v Speaker 3>You have to have the nice facilities now. It just
<v Speaker 3>is what it is.
<v Speaker 2>And if they get paid enough money, they're fine. They're
<v Speaker 2>doing okay. I want some firefighters and police officers to
<v Speaker 2>have some facilities like this, people who actually put their
<v Speaker 2>lives on the line. Exactly not the same.
<v Speaker 1>But we can have both. That's all I'm saying is
<v Speaker 1>I feel like we can. There's a way we can
<v Speaker 1>achieve both.
<v Speaker 2>We can't have harmony, it's too much challenge.
<v Speaker 3>Remember they made the AFC Championship last year. They expectations.
<v Speaker 3>You want to treat those players.
<v Speaker 2>Police officers are saving people's lives every.
<v Speaker 3>Day, understand.
<v Speaker 2>Give them an awesome place to go hang out with
<v Speaker 2>the cafeteria and big TVs and beautiful work affacide.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe you could write the members of the Denver Broncos
<v Speaker 1>a very passionate lesson.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, maybe your one. In the off season. Police officers
<v Speaker 2>and firefighters can go over there and work out and
<v Speaker 2>hang out. I love that idea. That's a good idea.
<v Speaker 2>What start that letter?
<v Speaker 3>Write a letter. They'll burn it in the new fireplace
<v Speaker 3>at the facility.
<v Speaker 2>It's the name of our congressman. Yeah, all right, I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna find out who to write a letter to. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm going to do it. Is Pat Bowling still around?
<v Speaker 2>Oh No, I can't write him. I'll be thinking about it.
<v Speaker 2>Thanks for having some fun with us today. What's blowing up?
<v Speaker 1>We've got receipts, We've got drummers, We've got Denver talking
<v Speaker 1>gets the mile High Hike where the JKJ icon on
<v Speaker 1>mixed one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I do want to let you know that a
<v Speaker 2>lot of your coworkers and your friends and family might
<v Speaker 2>be farting a lot today because it's National Chili dog
<v Speaker 2>day today.
<v Speaker 3>I hope you won't give me guess to know.
<v Speaker 2>Oh boy, oh no.
<v Speaker 1>Cheese, weas you're the cause of my pants?
<v Speaker 2>Be okay, one more Homer there? It is all right?
<v Speaker 2>Well anyway, it's good day to get a little chili
<v Speaker 2>on your wiener. I'm a fan of the chili dog,
<v Speaker 2>I really am, you know, load it up, put some
<v Speaker 2>cheese on there and give it.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>Today's the day you're gonna dive into it.
<v Speaker 1>Do it Colorado and do a green chili dog really good?
<v Speaker 1>I love green chili dog.
<v Speaker 2>Doesn't that good? It's gotta be a thick green chili though, right,
<v Speaker 2>or your bun's gonna get soggy to.
<v Speaker 1>Your life.
<v Speaker 2>Give me some of that on a hot I drip
<v Speaker 2>that on my shirt. So good. It's a bad day
<v Speaker 2>to wear a white shirt. Get this the historic Cathedral
<v Speaker 2>height the Cathedral High School building, eighteen forty Grant Street.
<v Speaker 2>It's been vacant for more than a decade. Broken windows, graffiti, peeling, paint,
<v Speaker 2>hazardous materials inside. Hey, that's a fun place to hang
<v Speaker 2>out anyway. A local developer purchased a properly property for
<v Speaker 2>about a million dollars, and now he wants to turn
<v Speaker 2>it into a boutique hotel fifty sixty rooms with a restaurant,
<v Speaker 2>a cafe. I think this is kind of a neat idea. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>especially like an old school building like that former high school.
<v Speaker 2>I would stay in somewhere like that. It's very much
<v Speaker 2>along the lines of how I want to live in,
<v Speaker 2>like in a gas station or an old firehouse. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you know when they revamp it a church. Did you
<v Speaker 2>live in an old church, kid? You feel like you
<v Speaker 2>can catch on fire.
<v Speaker 1>Well, there's just too many things that happened in the church.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to be a back with that. I
<v Speaker 1>would like to visit, but I don't want to live there.
<v Speaker 1>We'll think of all the things that happened to church,
<v Speaker 1>like lots of stuff, praying on the marriage's funerals, you
<v Speaker 1>get babies baptized. There's a lot of spirits.
<v Speaker 3>Like good spirits.
<v Speaker 2>Probably fine, unless the deceased comebacks and haunted.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly like angels vanished and become demons. Sometimes I know,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, Like so they're right outside the front door,
<v Speaker 1>they're just waiting. I'd like to visit. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if i'd want to live in one.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, well, then don't never mind. I know Katie Perry's
<v Speaker 2>making the news this morning because she was in full
<v Speaker 2>panic mode. She got into some sort of gigantic water
<v Speaker 2>bottle one of her latest concerts, like you can fit
<v Speaker 2>a person in it, and they pushed it out into
<v Speaker 2>the crowd, and they were crowdsurfing this water bottle, and
<v Speaker 2>they started taking her.
<v Speaker 1>Way out into the crowd.
<v Speaker 2>And I pulled some audio of her kind of panicking.
<v Speaker 2>You gotta watch the video of it. It's kind of neat, actually,
<v Speaker 2>the gigantic water bottle being inside that, she looked like,
<v Speaker 2>I don't like a hamster or something in that. But
<v Speaker 2>then she went way out there.
<v Speaker 1>Take me back to the station. She gotta do something
<v Speaker 1>to get us talking about her, because man, her shows.
<v Speaker 2>She's really gone kind of downhill. What happened there?
<v Speaker 1>I think it's just the whole it's hard to get
<v Speaker 1>out and see. I don't know. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>it is, because I know Katy Perry started off pretty strong.
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot of people who still love Katy Perry,
<v Speaker 1>but I know her tour was just like me, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>all right, what you got, Okay, Well, let's start it
<v Speaker 1>up here. Because first things first, did you know the
<v Speaker 1>city of Arvada has a drone first responder unit?
<v Speaker 5>What?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>And a redtail hawk took off took one out while
<v Speaker 1>they were both flying high in the Colorado sky. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>and it was caught on camera from multiple angles, so
<v Speaker 1>it is pretty spectacular. The officers they were looking into
<v Speaker 1>a condemned shed when the drone, uh excuse me, with
<v Speaker 1>the drone and then the hawk snatched it right out
<v Speaker 1>of the sky. So the neat thing about it is
<v Speaker 1>the camera angles, because you get the drone footage, but
<v Speaker 1>you also get the body cam from the officer, so
<v Speaker 1>you can see it all from their point of view
<v Speaker 1>as well as from the actual drone, and you see
<v Speaker 1>like a wing of a hawk.
<v Speaker 2>But then it.
<v Speaker 1>Deployed its parachute, the hawk went flying off. The hawk
<v Speaker 1>is fine, and it got stuffed in a tree. So
<v Speaker 1>everything worked out, like they're saying, everything worked out the
<v Speaker 1>way it wanted to. But it is wild to see
<v Speaker 1>this video of the hawk try and grab it thinking
<v Speaker 1>that it's some kind of oe or something. You know.
<v Speaker 2>I was just reading a story about drones about how
<v Speaker 2>this is fascinating. Some high schools are starting to install
<v Speaker 2>drones in the high school. So if there's ever any
<v Speaker 2>sort of active situation, let's say the drones they deploy
<v Speaker 2>in the hallways and they're able to like immediately get
<v Speaker 2>to you. I saw that that student and you know,
<v Speaker 2>pepper spray the but jesus out or you know, I
<v Speaker 2>don't know what it does. Maybe a machete comes down
<v Speaker 2>and slices their arm off or something. Yeah, but that's
<v Speaker 2>really neat. I'm impressed by that. Absolute Look, like, what
<v Speaker 2>a brilliant idea.
<v Speaker 1>What technology, Like a lot of we focus on a
<v Speaker 1>lot of the bad because it scares us and we're like, wait,
<v Speaker 1>what are the robots doing?
<v Speaker 2>You just don't want it to malfunction in the middle
<v Speaker 2>of chemistry class, I know, zipping in and spray your teacher.
<v Speaker 1>The drones are yeah, exactly. So, yeah, a really neat
<v Speaker 1>video for you to go check out there about that
<v Speaker 1>redtail hawk. But this is also a nice story from
<v Speaker 1>unincorporated Adams County. So they have experienced a significant drop
<v Speaker 1>in many crime categories. We're talking homicides down thirty eight
<v Speaker 1>percent in twenty twenty five, burglaries down forty one percent,
<v Speaker 1>and the big one was the motor vehicle thefts down
<v Speaker 1>fifty eight percent. What do they attribute to So the
<v Speaker 1>motor the motor, No, the motor vehicle thefts. For one,
<v Speaker 1>it's out at DIA that's where the majority of the
<v Speaker 1>thefts occurred. And they've done a lot of stuff out
<v Speaker 1>there to help curb thefts. They've got a lot more
<v Speaker 1>security out there there. They've made the parking lot a
<v Speaker 1>lot more like you have to check in and out.
<v Speaker 1>It's a lot more official. So that's a big thing.
<v Speaker 1>And it's just really i mean, just the advancement again,
<v Speaker 1>like we said, with technologies. The drones are helping out
<v Speaker 1>a lot and a lot of these things. When you
<v Speaker 1>come to they're seeing a lot more of it, so
<v Speaker 1>they're able to catch the perks and whatnot. There's a lot.
<v Speaker 1>So this is unincorporated Adams County. And again the sheriff
<v Speaker 1>who was talking about it said in twenty twenty three
<v Speaker 1>that they were the worst, the worst for auto thefts
<v Speaker 1>and now this has really helped that. And again a
<v Speaker 1>job sheriff for them, So yay. And then just one
<v Speaker 1>more another bear story, multiple bear stories in fact, as
<v Speaker 1>they're getting even wilder. One in Nanitoud Springs yesterday cops
<v Speaker 1>had to free this bear from a car after.
<v Speaker 2>He got his self stuck cars. They do, we.
<v Speaker 1>Send me things. So if you have something that's in
<v Speaker 1>your car and it's like, like, really it smells good. Right,
<v Speaker 1>And even if I think of the that idea, bears
<v Speaker 1>can smell that, they say over two thousand times the.
<v Speaker 2>Sense of smell miles away.
<v Speaker 1>They can smell things like crazy. And then another one
<v Speaker 1>in love when this one just wait, a woman says
<v Speaker 1>she came across a bear in her living room. I
<v Speaker 1>was uncomfortable with the bear in my house. In this case,
<v Speaker 1>I was three feet away, three feet that close to her.
<v Speaker 2>And it's my pepper spray drone.
<v Speaker 1>Such a sweet little berry Nona though with that one.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, she said, she came around the corner and
<v Speaker 1>she just says, but I would be like And then
<v Speaker 1>just one more bear story. A bear stole a picnic
<v Speaker 1>basket in Commerce City.
<v Speaker 2>Perfect. I'm just kidding about that.
<v Speaker 1>It is.
<v Speaker 2>It has been a wild year for bears though I
<v Speaker 2>have never really I don't remember any any summer like
<v Speaker 2>this in recent history where so many bear sightings have
<v Speaker 2>been out there, coming.
<v Speaker 3>Up close to injured or anything.
<v Speaker 2>Right, Well, let's not talk about that. Yeah, we canceled kids.
<v Speaker 2>If you're getting ready to head out to work today
<v Speaker 2>or wow, some of you might be in school, I
<v Speaker 2>don't know, getting ready for school teachers going back. If
<v Speaker 2>you're stressed, you're full of anxiety, maybe you're down Yet
<v Speaker 2>another study I'm looking at. We talked about this last week,
<v Speaker 2>but there's a second one out this morning talking about
<v Speaker 2>just trying to get outside in the morning and listen
<v Speaker 2>to the birds for about ten minutes. They say listening
<v Speaker 2>to nature slash mostly birds will reduce that stress, that anxiety,
<v Speaker 2>that depression. It's just kind of getting back to the
<v Speaker 2>roots of humans. Absolutely, you're back to the earth.
<v Speaker 1>There is so much that can be said about this
<v Speaker 1>because I mean, monks do it. They sit in silence
<v Speaker 1>the first ten minutes of their day so they can
<v Speaker 1>really tap in to the earth and all of that energy.
<v Speaker 1>And you're right, it significantly lowers stress level. Yeah, it
<v Speaker 1>also puts you Okay, should we just listen? Is that
<v Speaker 1>what you want to do? Sho, No, no, no, okay.
<v Speaker 2>I would never want you to set up Jerry.
<v Speaker 1>But it does lower your stress level.
<v Speaker 2>Uh does it?
<v Speaker 1>Well, it's the cortisol in us like we have to
<v Speaker 1>keep that in check. It's not good for you. So, uh,
<v Speaker 1>that is such a strong, strong thing you can do
<v Speaker 1>to really take advantage and be in charge of your day.
<v Speaker 1>That's the other thing is like when you do that,
<v Speaker 1>you're kind of just setting yourself up for success for
<v Speaker 1>the rest of the day. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So if you can try to get out this morning
<v Speaker 2>and listen to some birds, yeah, before they all fly
<v Speaker 2>away for winter, because you know it's only one hundreds
<v Speaker 2>some days before Christmas, it's no My stress is back.
<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katie and Josh takes one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Oh I know, Katie, you're a massive coffee drinker. Oh yeah, uh,
<v Speaker 2>And it's back Duncan's viral forty eight hours Iced bucket.
<v Speaker 2>It's a beverage bucket that you can roll into Duncan
<v Speaker 2>and get forty eight ounces of classic coffee iced coffee
<v Speaker 2>ice Lantes. You can even throw in some of their
<v Speaker 2>refreshers into it. I guess anyway, it looks like a
<v Speaker 2>sand pail that you would take to the beach.
<v Speaker 1>So when I break it down though, it's just freaking
<v Speaker 1>twelve ounce cups of coffee right.
<v Speaker 2>Well, the way to go to do math well, So
<v Speaker 2>and I drink that Is that about right?
<v Speaker 6>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>I don't feel like that would be too much now
<v Speaker 1>that I think about it.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I think it's like the whole shock value when
<v Speaker 2>you see it, because it's literally a bucket with all
<v Speaker 2>that once, all at once, and you're like, this is
<v Speaker 2>not fitting in my cup. It's about thirteen bucks, So
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if that's cheaper than four twelve ouncers. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that might be.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's got it.
<v Speaker 1>That's a good deal.
<v Speaker 2>But here's the thing. The Duncan stores are only giving
<v Speaker 2>me limited supplies, so if you want one, you got
<v Speaker 2>to zip out there pretty darn quick.
<v Speaker 7>And if I bring my own bucket, it's like the
<v Speaker 7>seven eleven thing, like the days where you can bring
<v Speaker 7>in anything.
<v Speaker 2>If yeh sut up with slurpees, maybe.
<v Speaker 1>Do that because if you only got so many, would
<v Speaker 1>you bring in that's fine? But I know, right like
<v Speaker 1>one of those baby baths.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you got to get it back out to your car.
<v Speaker 2>What are you bring in?
<v Speaker 1>You can like a boots, bring that old bootar I'm
<v Speaker 1>not doing you'd have to probably think, all right, you
<v Speaker 1>puzzle there, hard hard hat the best one we've got
<v Speaker 1>so far.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway. Thirteen bucks at Duncan. It's their beverage bucket. Go
<v Speaker 2>check it out today. All right, So Katie has been
<v Speaker 2>bugging me and bugging me and bugging me for like
<v Speaker 2>a week, uh to talk about h a's. So now's
<v Speaker 2>your time to shine girl.
<v Speaker 1>Well, with all these drought and water restrictions, it's getting
<v Speaker 1>kind of crazy, like the drama with the h oa
<v Speaker 1>and people watering their lawn and getting in trouble for it.
<v Speaker 1>There's so many different ways to go here. So for one, now,
<v Speaker 1>I don't experience a hoa thing, but you do, Jeremy.
<v Speaker 2>You're even on the border the power.
<v Speaker 1>Tell me the laws and.
<v Speaker 2>What you no when it comes to watering, because we
<v Speaker 2>are in a drought.
<v Speaker 1>And so when people have brown grass, isn't that just
<v Speaker 1>expected Your hoa can't find you?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And I've been seeing all sorts of stories about
<v Speaker 2>how the hoas are sending letters out to people threatening
<v Speaker 2>to find things like that. My neighbor across the street
<v Speaker 2>actually was getting a bunch of them and he got
<v Speaker 2>p s.
<v Speaker 1>Why I would be mad. I don't even have an hoa,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm mad for him.
<v Speaker 2>But from what I understand, there is a Denver law
<v Speaker 2>that protects homeowners in droughts when it comes to their lawn.
<v Speaker 2>But the HOA can't ding you for dry brown grass
<v Speaker 2>because you're not allowed to water, right, you can. From
<v Speaker 2>what I understand is we can't dingy okay because there
<v Speaker 2>is some issues like if it goes deeper though, and
<v Speaker 2>it like turns to like essentially just soil and you're
<v Speaker 2>having like soil patches and things like that pop up.
<v Speaker 2>I think there is something in there where you can
<v Speaker 2>start ding in people for that. But just if you
<v Speaker 2>got dry brown line, well, Kim, there are so.
<v Speaker 1>Many stories like on the news sites where they're talking
<v Speaker 1>to individual people where they're dealing with their h way
<v Speaker 1>and they're getting letters and the news stations reach out
<v Speaker 1>to the properties and nobody's getting back to them. So
<v Speaker 1>it's just like it's so dramatic. And even just with watering.
<v Speaker 1>I saw somebody post on Facebook that they tried to
<v Speaker 1>water at like two in the morning so that they
<v Speaker 1>could get away with it. But then they're like, I
<v Speaker 1>got a two hundred and fifty dollars bill from Aurora.
<v Speaker 2>They still know being sneaky.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, So there are just so many ways that I
<v Speaker 1>think people you know, and and kudos to everyone who's
<v Speaker 1>doing their part and making sure they are.
<v Speaker 2>I've been a good boy, even like I cherish my lawn.
<v Speaker 2>I try to get the best lawn in the neighborhood
<v Speaker 2>every summer. But I'm sticking to my two days a week.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah this year, it's just not a thing.
<v Speaker 2>But I'm putting down like fertilizers and stuff that help
<v Speaker 2>keep things somewhat green, you know, a lot of revive
<v Speaker 2>and things like that hashtag dad move. Yeah, but yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I'm sticking to it. But I've seen people, you know,
<v Speaker 2>popping on on the days they're not supposed.
<v Speaker 1>To know, And I think it's funny. Is there's another
<v Speaker 1>story floating around where neighbors are narking on their neighbors
<v Speaker 1>to get them in trouble with the water.
<v Speaker 2>Stitches get stitches.
<v Speaker 1>So if you like, you know, keep your music late
<v Speaker 1>at late at night, or you let your dog gomer
<v Speaker 1>on your neighbor's lawn, like maybe now might be you know, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>try not to get away with stuff because your neighbor
<v Speaker 1>can tell on you and then you'll get fined. And
<v Speaker 1>these are not you know.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, So that to me is that's already a neighborhood
<v Speaker 2>beef going on. There's something already there. Yeah, that a
<v Speaker 2>neighbor is going to report you, because I I'm not
<v Speaker 2>that guy, for sure. I'm not gonna oh Nancy down
<v Speaker 2>the streets. Yeah, she ran it for ten minutes too long.
<v Speaker 1>You see her watering?
<v Speaker 2>What does she think she's doing?
<v Speaker 1>It's not.
<v Speaker 2>It's not a day. My lawn still actually looks fairly decent,
<v Speaker 2>even though I'm just doing the two days and the fertilizer.
<v Speaker 2>And I've actually had a couple of neighbors like come
<v Speaker 2>up to me and they're like, are you following the rules? Oh? Really,
<v Speaker 2>be honest with you. Are you following the rules? I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>I'm following the rules. I really really am.
<v Speaker 1>Are you gate keeping your secrets so so that your
<v Speaker 1>lawn looks better than theirs? Because you better watch you
<v Speaker 1>better watch out. Your neighbors might get mad at you
<v Speaker 1>and be.
<v Speaker 2>Like all the time, little tin water department bear. Across
<v Speaker 2>the street.
<v Speaker 1>There's a radio guy. He thinks he's real funny.
<v Speaker 2>We got a funny guy here across the street with
<v Speaker 2>his water, funny guy with his green grass. That's so
<v Speaker 2>funny when you get that big fine in the male
<v Speaker 2>hone radio I'm coming for you. I'm coming for you. Also,
<v Speaker 2>you're not too far off, Katie. You really I need
<v Speaker 2>somebody to look this up, he text us, let me
<v Speaker 2>know if this is real or not. My wife just
<v Speaker 2>sent it to me and I'm time to search it up.
<v Speaker 2>But I just saw and I laughed. I have a
<v Speaker 2>feeling this is fake. I was coming out of Yellowstone
<v Speaker 2>National Park, she sent me a screenshot off Instagram. Park
<v Speaker 2>rangers have arrested a thirty four year old man after
<v Speaker 2>he allegedly dressed in a homemade bison costume and spent
<v Speaker 2>nearly two hours chasing down tourists while yelling at them.
<v Speaker 2>Now you know how it feels. Now you know how
<v Speaker 2>it feels. Is this true?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, it looks like it's fake, But now we kind
<v Speaker 1>of have ideas.
<v Speaker 2>That's funny. Oh god, picture, look at the picture of
<v Speaker 2>the er here.
<v Speaker 1>Can we get arrested for something like that?
<v Speaker 2>I think that's probably frowned on a dresses a bison.
<v Speaker 1>Run, great radio station thing to do.
<v Speaker 2>I saw this and I was like, no, uh no.
<v Speaker 1>And it's funny because even this article that breaks it
<v Speaker 1>down is like, at first glance, the story seems somewhat
<v Speaker 1>believable given the long list of tourists to antics at
<v Speaker 1>America's oldest national park.
<v Speaker 2>I wrote back, I go, I feel like this would
<v Speaker 2>be fake because she's like, well, so and so sented
<v Speaker 2>to me. This is how things get rolling. You know
<v Speaker 2>that friend is probably sending it to ten other people,
<v Speaker 2>and they're sending it to ten people.
<v Speaker 1>And they found it on the internet, so it's gotta
<v Speaker 1>be true.
<v Speaker 2>And now I'm talking about it on the radio. Now,
<v Speaker 2>you know how it feels so funny, absolutely fantastic. So
<v Speaker 2>shout out to all of our stressed parents listening this morning.
<v Speaker 2>I feel your dog, I Feel you. Survey found that
<v Speaker 2>seventy seven percent of parents say that back to school
<v Speaker 2>season makes life so incredibly hectic. You start looking at everything.
<v Speaker 2>The rising school supply costs are stress and parents out
<v Speaker 2>Balancing kids' schedules with your schedules causes a ton of
<v Speaker 2>household friction. Now you definitely have to come up with
<v Speaker 2>a bunch of new dinner time ideas to make sure
<v Speaker 2>that the family is fed and happy in the evening
<v Speaker 2>and they're ready to start a new day the next day.
<v Speaker 2>When school's in session, a lot of people just feel
<v Speaker 2>over extended right now. But we we hear you, we
<v Speaker 2>see you, we feel you.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. No, and it's getting worse and worse. Like I
<v Speaker 1>remember when the baby Nana needed that list of school supplies,
<v Speaker 1>and now there's digital stuff on it that costs so much.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, remember when we just had to pay for
<v Speaker 1>those hundred dollars calculators we had to do to get those. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah it is. And then you hit the nail
<v Speaker 1>on the head with childcare. If you're working like so much.
<v Speaker 5>Stop.
<v Speaker 2>We were going over the schedule the other night at
<v Speaker 2>the dinner table, going over new school times and stuff
<v Speaker 2>for the kids.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Different. Now we're experiencing high school where they have different
<v Speaker 2>you know, schedules on different days and trying to juggle
<v Speaker 2>all that. Yeah, I hate it. And then on top
<v Speaker 2>of it, we've got a whole nother level of stress
<v Speaker 2>going on in the house right now because my son
<v Speaker 2>did get his permit, so now he's driving and I'm
<v Speaker 2>out there. I did about thirty forty minutes with him
<v Speaker 2>yesterday out in an empty parking lot, zipping around trying
<v Speaker 2>to teach him how to drive. Let's just say we
<v Speaker 2>got to work on backing up. We got to work
<v Speaker 2>on backing.
<v Speaker 1>For a lot of that same feeling, like when they
<v Speaker 1>start walking and their mobile and it's like this is
<v Speaker 1>a whole new world, I know, but like it brings
<v Speaker 1>back that fear of what are they going to get into?
<v Speaker 1>And when they start to drive, it's the same thing.
<v Speaker 2>It's a trouble.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, thankfully you can track him now, Like that's.
<v Speaker 2>Something absolutely favor.
<v Speaker 5>You know.
<v Speaker 2>It was kind of funny because we were out in
<v Speaker 2>this empty parking lot and seriously, there was like five
<v Speaker 2>or six other cars zipping around in there. All of
<v Speaker 2>them have the student driver sticker on the back. So
<v Speaker 2>it's like the perfect time of day to go, you know,
<v Speaker 2>like at noon when nobody's around. A lot of school
<v Speaker 2>parking lots are empty right now, and so we're out
<v Speaker 2>there and there's all these newbies just dodging each other
<v Speaker 2>in these parking lots and I'm like, this might not
<v Speaker 2>be a good idea right now. Hey, let's practice backing.
<v Speaker 1>Did you need some cones?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? I need to get some phone anyway. Shout out
<v Speaker 2>to all the parents out there. We feel y, I'm
<v Speaker 2>in the same boat right now. Katie's been in that boat.
<v Speaker 2>We understand what you're going through and don't worry, you'll
<v Speaker 2>get through it. Fie five, I've.

<v Speaker 1>Gee that's how long you have to walk me, too.

<v Speaker 1>give you.
<v Speaker 2>THAT i guarantee you if you were to pass me

<v Speaker 1>WHY i walk by, myself because this is me.
<v Speaker 2>Left now on the heels of. THAT i will give
<v Speaker 2>you this as. Well there's a new study out this
<v Speaker 2>morning talking about it's now about an average of four
<v Speaker 2>and seventy two dollars annually to care for your. Pets,
<v Speaker 2>OH i would imagine that's mostly. Dogs, yeah dogs and.
<v Speaker 2>Cats so over a typical twelve year, lifespan total costs
<v Speaker 2>can exceed about fifty thousand dollars to raise that.
<v Speaker 1>Animal that's you, know AND i think the younger generations
<v Speaker 1>are seeing that and they're, like we still like, pets
<v Speaker 1>but we don't want to spend all that. Money do
<v Speaker 1>you know what the new trend is for the young
<v Speaker 1>young kids At Gen.
<v Speaker 2>Alpha, uh it's gotta be like a like an ai.
<v Speaker 1>Animal it's probably gonna get to. That but we're talking
<v Speaker 1>lizards and salamanders and things that are in tanks that
<v Speaker 1>aren't as expensive to.
<v Speaker 4>Raise LIKE i saw the, Story she's got to buy
<v Speaker 4>the crickets form right.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly the unofficial mascot Of Gen alpha right now is
<v Speaker 1>an endangered salamander called the axel. Lottle and we've talked
<v Speaker 1>about axel, mottle axel. Lottles they are the axel, lottle, wattle.
<v Speaker 2>AXELT i can't say, it what the? Wattle what is
<v Speaker 2>that axel? Lottle it sounds, like, okay.

<v Speaker 9>a smile on its face. Permanently no wonder why they.
<v Speaker 2>Love i've never heard of a.
<v Speaker 1>Bet your daughter has because the young kids love this
<v Speaker 1>LITTLE i want to say. Lizard it's not a lizard,
<v Speaker 1>though it's a, salamander and he is. Finding they're finding
<v Speaker 1>their way into. Everything so the squishies are all axel lottle.
<v Speaker 1>Shapes now you can see him in. Roadblocks they're in
<v Speaker 1>lego sets like axel.
<v Speaker 7>Lottles are A i almost, said, yeah, careful, careful but,
<v Speaker 7>Okay SO i know a couple.
<v Speaker 1>With the, wattle so you can see like a few like.
<v Speaker 1>Salamander you can say, salamon.
<v Speaker 2>Stop it salamon.
<v Speaker 1>So zoe maybe Not, no she has a tiger, salamander
<v Speaker 1>so she if you take care of.
<v Speaker 2>Them it's the lizards that kids were like licking and
<v Speaker 2>putting in their mouth and they were getting incredibly, sick
<v Speaker 2>wasn't is? IT i think it was the salamanders the
<v Speaker 2>kids were. Licking they give you like a high poisoner.
<v Speaker 1>Pet salamanders like a lot of kids have, these especially
<v Speaker 1>the tiger. Salamanders and again the axle wattles us you,
<v Speaker 1>say The dave is so, funny alattle keep that elm, going,

<v Speaker 2>Chair, now speaking Of katie, cat it's story time With.
<v Speaker 2>Katie gather around, Kids Chris Cross apple. Sauce it's story.
<v Speaker 1>Time we Missed. Katie, well this one starts out of
<v Speaker 1>a little sad well because here's the thing, is we
<v Speaker 1>all KNOW i went had a little weekend With chicago
<v Speaker 1>guy not too long, ago and it did not go
<v Speaker 1>well at. All and SO i went out to lunch
<v Speaker 1>with one of my girlfriends, Yesterday, ryane and we were
<v Speaker 1>talking about, it and she was just, like, man when
<v Speaker 1>you were telling your, STORY i was just crying along
<v Speaker 1>with you because she went through something. Recently and she
<v Speaker 1>told me her story AND i was, like oh M.
<v Speaker 1>G people suck, sometimes like. People AND i don't want
<v Speaker 1>to say just, guys, right because you guys get it,
<v Speaker 1>too like people in general can suck, sometimes you, Know
<v Speaker 1>LIKE i, mean everybody has a. Story it's not just
<v Speaker 1>men who are doing women. Wrong like it happens both.
<v Speaker 3>WAYS i famous had a harsh breakup on the show for.
<v Speaker 2>YEARS i told the story OF i was with a
<v Speaker 2>woman for four years and THEN i found out she
<v Speaker 2>was sleeping with the bartender at An.
<v Speaker 1>Applebee people like people suck all.
<v Speaker 2>An, applebee SINCE.
<v Speaker 1>I really did some damage to. You but, anyway so
<v Speaker 1>we were just kind of like commiserating together because it
<v Speaker 1>does happen to all of. Us and she told me the. Story,
<v Speaker 1>okay so she Does Animal city and she watches dogs and.
<v Speaker 1>Whatnot she housits for people when the around of. Town
<v Speaker 1>and she was doing that for somebody and they were
<v Speaker 1>also getting their kitchen done it the same. Time so
<v Speaker 1>there was this work crew of guys in the kitchen
<v Speaker 1>while she was house. Sitting uh so my Friend ryane
<v Speaker 1>was talking to this guy Named mark, right And mark
<v Speaker 1>was getting all flirty and. Stuff and this was over
<v Speaker 1>a couple of day period, time and then one Night
<v Speaker 1>mark came into the kitchen and Grabbed ryan and kissed
<v Speaker 1>her right there over the, Burners like this is like exactly,
<v Speaker 1>exactly just went into the, kitchen grabbed her and started kissing.
<v Speaker 1>Her and she was like it WAS i was so
<v Speaker 1>caught off that's a. Moment and not only that he's
<v Speaker 1>a lot younger than, Her he's like ten to younger than,
<v Speaker 1>Her so she was totally caught off. Guard she was, like, okay.
<v Speaker 2>So got, it but she was in it.
<v Speaker 1>Was. Respectful they were, flirting, right and so like when it,
<v Speaker 1>happened it was, unexpected.
<v Speaker 2>BUT i like, it SO i know it was so
<v Speaker 2>much stuff. Sexy, Right so.
<v Speaker 1>Then they start talking and he was just, like you,
<v Speaker 1>KNOW i really like, you And i'd love if you
<v Speaker 1>come over to my house for dinner. Sometime maybe we
<v Speaker 1>can keep this. Going and she's like. Okay so she
<v Speaker 1>got really, excited and the next, night she, said she
<v Speaker 1>went over to his house for. Dinner and she gets
<v Speaker 1>there and the first thing she noticed is she doesn't
<v Speaker 1>smell anything. Cooking she doesn't see any dinner being, prepared
<v Speaker 1>and he's sitting on his couch eating a bowl of
<v Speaker 1>soup and doesn't offer her.
<v Speaker 2>Anything so she was, like you always offer a woman.
<v Speaker 2>Soup you toss her a can and a, cano first
<v Speaker 2>thing you, do first thing you.
<v Speaker 1>Do here's your, soup. Lady but, no so he didn't
<v Speaker 1>offer her, anything and so she just. Caught she was,
<v Speaker 1>like this is. Weird you, KNOW i thought we were
<v Speaker 1>going to go out to dinner, whatever and so she
<v Speaker 1>before she could bring it, up, though he started like
<v Speaker 1>getting closer to, her and then they start manging out.
<v Speaker 2>Again right.
<v Speaker 1>Again he probably kept it on just for good, luck but.
<v Speaker 1>No so, yeah so they're sitting on the couch doing
<v Speaker 1>stuff and it starts to go a little further than
<v Speaker 1>she wants it. To so she's, like, okay, wait you,
<v Speaker 1>Know i'm not comfortable going all that, exactly and she's,
<v Speaker 1>Like i'm not looking for just a one night stand
<v Speaker 1>type of.
<v Speaker 2>Situation she's, Like i'm. Not she's looking for a bowl of.
<v Speaker 1>Soup you need to give me more than, soup. Homie and,
<v Speaker 1>so you, know they kind of stopped a little. Bit
<v Speaker 1>but then she's, like CAN i go use your? Restroom
<v Speaker 1>and he's like. Totally so here's where it's. Interesting she
<v Speaker 1>walks through the kitchen and she notices on the refrigerator
<v Speaker 1>there are pictures of children that look just my. Kire
<v Speaker 1>then and she makes her way to the to the
<v Speaker 1>to the. Bathroom there is a nursery being built in
<v Speaker 1>the bedroom across the hall from the. Bathroom but what,
<v Speaker 1>Okay so she goes, out and you, Know ryanne is
<v Speaker 1>an adult, kid so she asks him she feels he's.
<v Speaker 1>MARRIED i, mean this is the way she explained. It she's,
<v Speaker 1>LIKE i felt like this man was, married AND i
<v Speaker 1>just walked into a SITUATION i did not want to be.
<v Speaker 3>In, well the nursery being built.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly so she comes out and she Asks mark are you?
<v Speaker 1>Married flat out and he's, like oh, no no He's
<v Speaker 1>and then she, said well what about the pictures and the. Nursery,
<v Speaker 1>oh this is my brother's. House that's those are my.
<v Speaker 1>Nephews So i'm just at my brother's. House she didn't believe.
<v Speaker 1>Him she didn't feel good about his, answer so she.
<v Speaker 2>Left right the next, day pictures of the children looked
<v Speaker 2>just like. Him did they have little tool belts?
<v Speaker 1>On? Okay tell me that, Specifically i'm. Okay so, anyway
<v Speaker 1>the next day when she's you, know they're back at
<v Speaker 1>the kitchen and you know they're working on, it and she's,
<v Speaker 1>well because still and they're working on the. Kitchen so
<v Speaker 1>she asks his, coworker, Hey, austin Is mark? Married And
<v Speaker 1>austin says. Yeah she's, like, well Where's mark's? Family then where's?
<v Speaker 2>Mine she.
<v Speaker 1>Said he, says they're visiting her family In minnesota before
<v Speaker 1>the baby. Comes, no, no because then the houseowners come
<v Speaker 1>home and my Friend ryane again she's a grown, woman
<v Speaker 1>and she's she's gonna do. It so she tells, Them she's,
<v Speaker 1>like how well do you Know mark and the people
<v Speaker 1>who are working on your? Kitchen and she, says, Well
<v Speaker 1>mark's an old family.
<v Speaker 2>Friend so the.
<v Speaker 1>Pome owner Knows mark's. Family so then she told her.
<v Speaker 1>Everything she told her everything and Now, mark you do
<v Speaker 1>that Because mark's getting a. Divorce she's affording him now, no,
<v Speaker 1>No now they found out after she told her what
<v Speaker 1>happened With. Ryane that wife was like hex to the,
<v Speaker 1>No i'm, out and now they're getting a. Divorce AND
<v Speaker 1>i just, LIKE i was so proud of that. WIFE
<v Speaker 1>i don't even know that, woman But i'm, like here for, you. Lady,
<v Speaker 1>no that's hard to do when you're. Pregnant is imagine.
<v Speaker 2>His part to that in a house where he, knows,
<v Speaker 2>yes family.
<v Speaker 1>Right and clearly he's done this, before or the wife
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't have been so quick to pack up her stuff and.
<v Speaker 1>LEAVE i mean she took the, kids she moved To
<v Speaker 1>minnesota to her family. Again so it's like they completely parted,
<v Speaker 1>ways and you, Know, ryan she feels a little bad about,
<v Speaker 1>it but also she's, LIKE i feel like it was
<v Speaker 1>my duty to tell. Everybody i'm like, absolutely Like i'd
<v Speaker 1>probably do the same thing app AND i did ask.
<v Speaker 1>HER i was, like CAN i.
<v Speaker 2>Tell people about?
<v Speaker 1>This because again it goes into when you're dealing with
<v Speaker 1>stuff like, this, like you, Know chicago guy treated me
<v Speaker 1>like absolute, Crap and it's only in hindsight THAT i
<v Speaker 1>can see that. Now but to be able to talk
<v Speaker 1>with other people about it and feel, like you, know
<v Speaker 1>there are people out there feeling LIKE i.
<v Speaker 2>Am it just it had to make you feel. Good
<v Speaker 2>AND i hated.
<v Speaker 1>It AND i told her THAT i was, LIKE i
<v Speaker 1>made you feel good in a bad way because me
<v Speaker 1>feel not alone is a better way to put. It
<v Speaker 1>that other people go through this, too and we get through,
<v Speaker 1>it you. Know and so that's the big. Thing but,
<v Speaker 1>man and it's.
<v Speaker 2>Too bad because it started so like, Hot like it
<v Speaker 2>started like a rom. Com you, know you got your house,
<v Speaker 2>sitting you got a hot dude and his flannel in
<v Speaker 2>his work boots a, belt and, he you, know embraces
<v Speaker 2>you in the kitchen and you make. OUT i mean
<v Speaker 2>that would give anybody. GOOSIES i you would get me
<v Speaker 2>goosies if this guy came over he gave. Me but
<v Speaker 2>the red flag was probably the. SOUP i mean exactly
<v Speaker 2>what is that? Soup you, know kind of soup he was?
<v Speaker 2>Eating help, Yourself, yeah a, vegetable because that's a dumb.
<v Speaker 2>Soup mark's. Dumb, yeah go for a chicken noodle, Guy, Mark,

<v Speaker 2>lot of people were Confused ranch the white. Sauce the
<v Speaker 2>realtors say ranch prices are up one hundred and twelve
<v Speaker 2>percent because realtors are pretty darn tapped into the. Connomentisle
<v Speaker 2>the Hidden.
<v Speaker 1>Valley ranch party in my, mouth you know expensive dill
<v Speaker 1>is right, now come, on Big, okay do you.
<v Speaker 2>Want to move on to the? Locals, HONESTLY i really do.
<v Speaker 1>Good first things, first let's move.
<v Speaker 2>On did you know what you?
<v Speaker 1>Got city Of arvada has a drone first responder? Unit
<v Speaker 1>what that soundings? Cool, yeah they have drones in the
<v Speaker 1>sky helping them out now and a redtail hawk took
<v Speaker 1>one out while they were both flying high in The colorado.
<v Speaker 1>Sky like the video is. Insane it was all caught
<v Speaker 1>on camera from multiple angles because you have the drone
<v Speaker 1>up in the sky getting attacked by the redtail, hawk
<v Speaker 1>and then you have the body can being worn by the,
<v Speaker 1>officers so you see it all from that vantage point as,
<v Speaker 1>well and it is pretty. Spectacular the officers they were
<v Speaker 1>actually looking into a condemned shed with the drone when
<v Speaker 1>the hawk snatched it like right out of the.
<v Speaker 2>Sky. Drunk it was.
<v Speaker 1>Insane and then the hawk actually was hit by the
<v Speaker 1>parachute that the drone deploys because when it is, attacked
<v Speaker 1>it'll just automatically put a parachute out. Mechanism, yeah and
<v Speaker 1>then it got stuck in a. Tree so but the
<v Speaker 1>hawk is, fine the drone is, fine and the cops,
<v Speaker 1>say this is exactly what was supposed to. Happen so
<v Speaker 1>no word on that shed, though couldn't barely ranch party
<v Speaker 1>in my.
<v Speaker 2>Mouth.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah and then our bear, stories because this is very
<v Speaker 1>concerning that we're seeing so many bears out and. About
<v Speaker 1>it has to do with the winter being so short
<v Speaker 1>and they're looking for. Food but multiple sightings just this week.
<v Speaker 1>Alone so In Manitous springs yesterday cops had to free
<v Speaker 1>a bear from a car after he got hisself stuck
<v Speaker 1>in the.
<v Speaker 2>Car and now again these bears getting into cars and any.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of food wrapper that you leave in your, vehicle
<v Speaker 1>or even the scent, things the little you, know air
<v Speaker 1>freshener things we put in our, car all of those
<v Speaker 1>can attract. Bears and when you're In Manitud, SPRINGS i
<v Speaker 1>mean that's his bear country right.
<v Speaker 2>There why would the pine tree air fresheners attract the?
<v Speaker 2>Bears the pine trees all.
<v Speaker 1>Time i'm not saying pine, tree but you have like
<v Speaker 1>the honey, ones you have the sweeter ones and so they're,
<v Speaker 1>saying any of those scents can make bears want to
<v Speaker 1>break in to the, cars and because of the low
<v Speaker 1>excuse me water levels and, everything they're having a harder
<v Speaker 1>time finding, food and so they're breaking into places that
<v Speaker 1>they wouldn't be expected to break in.
<v Speaker 2>Bins little known fact air fresheners are.
<v Speaker 1>Delicious jeremy approved and then in no just smelled. It
<v Speaker 1>but this one is crazy, too because In loveland a
<v Speaker 1>woman actually came across a bear in her living.
<v Speaker 2>ROOM i would play the audio for, that but my computer's.
<v Speaker 2>Rosen oh it's.
<v Speaker 1>Fine she just.
<v Speaker 2>Said she was, like.
<v Speaker 1>She totally said that eating we ate the cat. Food
<v Speaker 1>that's what the bear broke into the house, for ate
<v Speaker 1>the cat food out of the cat. Dish and so,
<v Speaker 1>yeah that lady was, like, oh they got a. Bear but,
<v Speaker 1>anyway there you.
<v Speaker 2>Go there's some really good stories you brought.
<v Speaker 1>Today very.
