James: All right. Thank you for tuning in to the Marriage Fix Podcast. Again, I am your host, James.
Katalina: Okay. All right. How do you own it? Cause I feel like the mic was kind of in like obstructing the view here for the camera cameras here. So, okay. But yeah, I mean, quality time is on point.
Katalina: You know? So that's what I think.
Katalina: Yeah, I am. I am. I can't beat your grill steaks though, too. That's, that's good. But yeah, we know this cause we cook together, y'all like cooking together.
Katalina: And to just kind of just, Unravel your day with each other and to make sure you guys intentionally give each other that time before you go to bed, you know , definitely don't let a day pass, definitely not days pass where you don't really have a full conversation. , I hear when I listened to other podcasts, Or other reels with some married couples and they'll have, they'll, appear to have these great marriages, God bless, but they will mention how sometimes they're so busy that days would pass or a week would pass and they, they didn't even have a full conversation.
James: Your courting season, like when you first get together, you're learning what each other like, what you enjoy doing, what you enjoy doing individually. , sometimes you may like, like, for example, I'm a, I'm a huge golfer. Right. You had mentioned, Oh, I want to go. I want to go with you. I want to go with you to play, you know, and that's, that's another bonding time.
Katalina: Right. You know, because you're kind of giving like, Representative or that's people like to use that in a negative way, but you're kind of putting your best foot forward in the beginning. So your other, your partner is going to, Kind of expect those things. So you want to just make sure that you try to keep things as much like the beginning as possible to keep things, you know, exciting.
James: But, but moving on point number two key number two would be Communication. Communication is key. Communication is the foundation of any successful Relationship and marriage, and always working on that, you know, it's essential to have an open and honest communication with your partner to avoid Any kind of misunderstandings and things like that to resolve any kind of conflicts,
Katalina: Because again, you don't want to sow those seeds. What we sow and the things that we plant grow. Just like sowing a seed in soil. That seed is going to break throughout time and it's going to grow. And eventually fruit is going to, to bear from that. Whether it's good fruit or bad fruit. So, you want to definitely be conscious of that.
Katalina: Yeah, so do I that's just I think that's one thing my mom let you know to we were in our courtship I think you had asked my mom , one of the things about me and and God bless my mom listed a few good qualities, but you know, God bless.
Katalina: I have to look that up. We will probably have to put it in, put it in the description, but yeah, so you guys, I mean, it's real,
Katalina: Because what if they don't feel like they're doing what you say that what you feel like they're doing? What if they don't agree? What if they have no idea what they're doing? They're, they're going to be like, they're going to be ready to, ready to argue, like, hold up, like, wait, hold on, you know? So to just kind of come with the, I think, or I feel.
James: Absolutely. And one, one other thing too, that you kind of want to, Kind of look at this really interesting is that when you do get into those kind of conversations, disagreements, and all that is to stay in your, in your feminine and masculine frames, those situations really allow things to deescalate.
Katalina: And just, you know, it is believed to that, male and female, like we all, like both genders embody masculine and feminine energies. It's just we are dominated by one or the other,
Katalina: Right. Right. Yeah. And so I have yeah, honey, I agree completely. I like to add to that for a second. To share with our listeners, if you all just like my hubby says here, if you all want to change your life in 10 seconds.
James: Complimenting how hard I'm working on our stuff. Just appreciation of it, you know, so, you're the
James: You know, because when you wake up in the morning, you, you really want to have the mindset of how can I make my partner's life better today?
Katalina: Oh my gosh. In a good way. Right.
Katalina: Right. Absolutely. Absolutely. And it's like, again, like you were saying, it's, it's self improvement that benefits yourself, your spouse and your, your children, the entire family. It benefits those around you, those you work with. It benefits friends, it, to always strive to be the best person you can be, don't be so prideful.
James: It, you, you'll see the improvement, and you can, you can do that. The reading you can do it through. Just multiple things, even simple as, as having your own thing to do, like exercising or having that personal time to yourself to, to refresh, rejuvenate,
James: Absolutely. I agree, honey. Absolutely. Yeah. So, so those are, are, are one of our main things that we, that we want to give you our, our four key points to strengthen and to have a, a stronger, stronger marriage. And and again we hope these tips help if you can, again, leave us some feedback.
