<v Speaker 1>It's been a busy weekend. Man, I'm tired, and it
<v Speaker 1>just keeps going. Tonight, we had Raw, but we are
<v Speaker 1>coming off of a Summer Slam weekend. That I would say,
<v Speaker 1>on the whole when you put the two shows together,
<v Speaker 1>was a good show. It was still a mixed bag
<v Speaker 1>of good and bad this past weekend. Raw Tonight though
<v Speaker 1>this show, this show felt more like a reset in
<v Speaker 1>many ways. We had seeds planted for a lot of
<v Speaker 1>new directions. We had even a new face on the show.
<v Speaker 1>We knew he was coming back tonight, but we had
<v Speaker 1>a new face on the show. We had a little
<v Speaker 1>cliffhanger ending at the end there that I'm sure is
<v Speaker 1>going to get a lot of people talking involving Roman reigns.
<v Speaker 1>But it really did. It felt like the word I
<v Speaker 1>would use, and I'd use this on X here before
<v Speaker 1>I went live, I'd posted on X I said, this
<v Speaker 1>show felt inspired. This show felt inspired, like it had
<v Speaker 1>a pulse, like it had life to it in a
<v Speaker 1>way that Raw on most weeks and really smacked it
<v Speaker 1>too generally doesn't. And I don't know exactly what it was.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if something you know, kind of a
<v Speaker 1>be gut in their bonnet here where it was like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of people complaining about all of these
<v Speaker 1>different things. Maybe we should Maybe we should try to,
<v Speaker 1>you know, make use of the talent we have and
<v Speaker 1>not kind of waste a lot of that talent. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>we should try something different than what we've been doing.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe I don't know, Maybe Triple H was locked in
<v Speaker 1>a broom closet and there was somebody else. Hey, you know,
<v Speaker 1>Raymons stereo is there. Maybe the Undertaker was there. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>the Undertaker was sitting in gorilla backstage and he was
<v Speaker 1>running things. I don't know, but what I do know
<v Speaker 1>is that it had a different feel that I would
<v Speaker 1>like to see more often. I don't know why this
<v Speaker 1>show can't be more like this on most weeks. There's
<v Speaker 1>no reason that this show can't be more in line
<v Speaker 1>with what we saw tonight, and with any luck, this
<v Speaker 1>is a sign that maybe it will be. Because I
<v Speaker 1>thought this is easily one of the best the entire year.
<v Speaker 1>That's what we got tonight. Roman Reigns was on the show.
<v Speaker 1>He is still the World heavyweight champion after his match
<v Speaker 1>with Seth Rollins last night. They headlined Night two thirty
<v Speaker 1>three minutes in the main event last night. Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>is still the champion. I don't know that anybody honestly
<v Speaker 1>expected it to go any other way. But then you
<v Speaker 1>start looking ahead and it's like, okay, he's gonna beat
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins, And then what's next? What's next for Roman Reigns?
<v Speaker 1>How long do we have Roman even around? For who
<v Speaker 1>does he defend against next? And we got our answer,
<v Speaker 1>or at least we got a hint. La Knight who's
<v Speaker 1>been talking shit NonStop about Roman, not just for the
<v Speaker 1>past few months, but really for the past few years.
<v Speaker 1>It feels like he comes out and he gets to
<v Speaker 1>cut this promo on Roman, he cuts him down on
<v Speaker 1>the mic and plants the seeds for the inevitable rematch. Obviously,
<v Speaker 1>these two had a championship match a few years ago
<v Speaker 1>and it was you know, thanks for coming, La Night.
<v Speaker 1>He got his one shot and that was the end
<v Speaker 1>of it, and he got screwed over by the Bloodline
<v Speaker 1>like Drew MacIntyre and Kevin Owens and everybody else did
<v Speaker 1>over the years. But now La Knight is saying, you
<v Speaker 1>know what, he beat Jay Uso at Summer Slim, why
<v Speaker 1>not just go straight for the King? You know, you
<v Speaker 1>can come out every week and you can piss, bitch
<v Speaker 1>and moan about Roman all you want to, But there
<v Speaker 1>he is. It only makes sense that he would go
<v Speaker 1>right after Roman directly, and Roman was like, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>you got to earn your way in. So they kind
<v Speaker 1>of gave you a hint as to what we're looking
<v Speaker 1>at between now and Money in the Bank, where they're
<v Speaker 1>going to be building up to a match between Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns and La Knight. All the La Knight fans who
<v Speaker 1>wanted to see La Knight in the world title mix,
<v Speaker 1>you're getting your wish, even though you and I know
<v Speaker 1>better than to expect anything other than Roman Reigns were
<v Speaker 1>retaining his championship. We all know how this story ends.
<v Speaker 1>But even still, this feels like this is where you
<v Speaker 1>want him to be. This is where you want him
<v Speaker 1>to be. He needs to be in the mix. He
<v Speaker 1>needs to be going back and forth with Roman Reigns, right,
<v Speaker 1>this is what a lot of people have been waiting for.
<v Speaker 1>But then at the end of the show, we had
<v Speaker 1>a street fight. It was Jacob Fatu and Royce Keys
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown's Royce Keys. They were in the main event on
<v Speaker 1>this show and they had a street fight and they
<v Speaker 1>beat the hell out of each other. And this was
<v Speaker 1>all about Roman Rains earlier in the show telling him,
<v Speaker 1>you know, what is this stuff about this guy being
<v Speaker 1>family to you, you guys going way back. He's not family,
<v Speaker 1>he's not blood, he's not one of us. Take care
<v Speaker 1>of this. That was the mission, and that's what Jacob
<v Speaker 1>Fatu did in the main event, and Roman Reigns came
<v Speaker 1>out and he acknowledged Jacob, and Jacob acknowledged him, and
<v Speaker 1>I thought the show was over, and then all of
<v Speaker 1>a sudden, Roman, We cut to the back and Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns is in the gorilla position and he looks over
<v Speaker 1>and the camera pan and I'm like, okay, who's going
<v Speaker 1>to be standing there the right? Clearly they were building
<v Speaker 1>to some big reveal here. Somebody was going to be
<v Speaker 1>standing off to the side, and they pan to the
<v Speaker 1>side and it's Ray, Mystereo. I mean, that looks like
<v Speaker 1>that's more like a Be the Booker match that we
<v Speaker 1>would do. At the end of one of these streams.
<v Speaker 1>We land on Rome and we land on Ray, Like,
<v Speaker 1>what the hell is Ray Maisterio doing there? And he's
<v Speaker 1>standing there and the funniest part about all this. He goes,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if you're aware that I'm the new
<v Speaker 1>general manager of Triple A. And Roman's response was, well,
<v Speaker 1>I know now, because I don't pay attention to any
<v Speaker 1>of the other shit that goes on around here. Now
<v Speaker 1>I know. Okay, what do you want? And Ray said, well,
<v Speaker 1>I have something interesting to talk to you about, and
<v Speaker 1>off they went. And my first thought, and probably yours
<v Speaker 1>as well, My first thought is they're going to have
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns on the World's Collide card. I know Triple
<v Speaker 1>Mania is coming up. They don't need Roman for Triple Mania. Romans,
<v Speaker 1>first of all, Roman's not work in Mexico City on
<v Speaker 1>night two. Night one. I know, they just moved into
<v Speaker 1>a bigger building. I mean, I suppose if they wanted
<v Speaker 1>to sell more ticket, sure you could advertise Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>for the show, but I don't get the sense they
<v Speaker 1>really need him for that. I was thinking more about
<v Speaker 1>the World's Collide show, which is running head to head
<v Speaker 1>with aw all Out in Chicago, not very far from
<v Speaker 1>where all Out is being killed on what is it,
<v Speaker 1>September twenty sixth, I believe. So I'm like, Okay, I
<v Speaker 1>see what they're doing here. I said a few weeks
<v Speaker 1>ago when this was first announced, I said, you watch
<v Speaker 1>CM Punk is going to end up on that card
<v Speaker 1>because they were in Chicago, right and they have tickets
<v Speaker 1>to sell, and what better way to kind of stick
<v Speaker 1>the knife in And we'll book CM Punk opposite all
<v Speaker 1>Out on the World's Collide show. I hadn't even thought
<v Speaker 1>about Roman Reigns, but then I was thinking about it
<v Speaker 1>some more, and I said, you know, Roman doesn't have
<v Speaker 1>to wrestle on that show. Roman himself doesn't even have
<v Speaker 1>to be on that show. If they're looking to add
<v Speaker 1>like a big attraction to the World's Collide card, he
<v Speaker 1>could send the USOS there, and you can do for
<v Speaker 1>the first time ever, you can do the USOS against
<v Speaker 1>the Lucha Bros. Right. You can have Ray, Phoenix and
<v Speaker 1>Penta against Jimmy and Jay on that show. So I
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't necessarily just assume that Roman Reigns is going to
<v Speaker 1>be working the Triple A show. It's possible he will,
<v Speaker 1>or it's just as possible that Ray wanted to have
<v Speaker 1>a conversation with him about his bloodline and maybe we
<v Speaker 1>could work something out. Maybe we can get some of
<v Speaker 1>them to come on over for the big event. But
<v Speaker 1>I like that. I like that little cliffhanger there at
<v Speaker 1>the end. What are these two guys going off and
<v Speaker 1>talking about? See, this is the sort of thing that
<v Speaker 1>they should be doing more of, right because you want
<v Speaker 1>people to wonder and you want people to be like, man,
<v Speaker 1>I got to tune in next week to find out,
<v Speaker 1>like where is this going to go? This is basic
<v Speaker 1>TV stuff and something they used to be better at doing.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like they don't do it enough anymore. You know,
<v Speaker 1>most weeks, when Raw goes off the air, it's like
<v Speaker 1>a mercy killing and I'm happy it's over, thank god.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I don't leave the show at the end
<v Speaker 1>going holy shit, I can't wait to tune in next
<v Speaker 1>week and see what's going to happen. So it's a
<v Speaker 1>small thing, but I like that they tossed that in
<v Speaker 1>there there at the very end. I mentioned the street
<v Speaker 1>fight though that was in the main event. Royce Keys.
<v Speaker 1>The way they shot that angle there at the end,
<v Speaker 1>with him bleeding from the mouth and everything seemed like
<v Speaker 1>they were writing him off for a little bit. It's
<v Speaker 1>kind of like what they did with Otis last week.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I'm not expecting to see Otis for a
<v Speaker 1>few weeks yet. So Roman was on the show in
<v Speaker 1>multiple segments. Opa Femi was also on the show, although
<v Speaker 1>only in well technically too two say, a backstage segment
<v Speaker 1>and then a segment out in the ring, coming off
<v Speaker 1>the biggest win of his career, right beating brock Lessner
<v Speaker 1>inside hell in a cell. And I forgot the word
<v Speaker 1>that Michael Cole used to describe it when they were,
<v Speaker 1>you know, pitching to the I don't remember if it
<v Speaker 1>was highlights of the match or that brock video package
<v Speaker 1>that they showed us, but he was using words like,
<v Speaker 1>you know, this massively entertaining, or it did not disappoint.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's what he said. It did not disappoint.
<v Speaker 1>Speak for yourself, Michael, speak for yourself to hear him
<v Speaker 1>tell it. It was the greatest hell in a cell
<v Speaker 1>match of all time. But Obafemi was on the show.
<v Speaker 1>He came out and in his promo it was very
<v Speaker 1>complimentary towards brock Lesner. He didn't really say a whole lot, right,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he said some stuff about basically, you know,
<v Speaker 1>this is the new generation. Now it's our time, and
<v Speaker 1>the old guard is going to be put down. And
<v Speaker 1>all that, but he didn't give any indication, any hint
<v Speaker 1>about what his next conquest is going to be right
<v Speaker 1>about who he's targeting. He didn't mention Roman Reigns. He
<v Speaker 1>didn't mention the World Heavyweight Championship. We did, I guess
<v Speaker 1>get some clarity finally from Corey Graves. They're talking as
<v Speaker 1>if he still has a title shot, So evidently now
<v Speaker 1>he does still have the title opportunity that he could basically,
<v Speaker 1>you know, cash in quote unquote whenever he's ready, and
<v Speaker 1>it could be against Cmpunk or it could be against
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns. He didn't say anything about that on this show,
<v Speaker 1>but as he was leaving, it was who he ran
<v Speaker 1>into that gave us the biggest sign yet of what's
<v Speaker 1>next for Obafemi, and that is bron Breaker. Now, we
<v Speaker 1>already had one tease a few years ago, a couple
<v Speaker 1>of years ago now of a potential feud that didn't
<v Speaker 1>go anywhere between bron Breaker and Jacob Fatu. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure many of you remember that episode of Raw where
<v Speaker 1>Fatu had only been in the company for a few
<v Speaker 1>months and he had a very brief face to face
<v Speaker 1>encounter outside the ring with bron Breaker. And you heard
<v Speaker 1>the reaction. It still burned in my brain. You heard
<v Speaker 1>the reaction from the crowd. That was a match that
<v Speaker 1>people were excited for, and again, Fatu had not been
<v Speaker 1>around for very long, and then it went absolutely nowhere.
<v Speaker 1>So I've been conditioned to not necessarily get my hopes
<v Speaker 1>up that even if they tease something, they're necessarily going
<v Speaker 1>to give it to us. But it was pretty i
<v Speaker 1>mean in your face, like, hey, this is the direction
<v Speaker 1>we're going in, and we're going in that direction a
<v Speaker 1>lot sooner than you may think. We got to face
<v Speaker 1>the face between Oba and Bron. Broun would not take
<v Speaker 1>his eyes off this man. And then it even led
<v Speaker 1>to a segment in the back which I'll get into
<v Speaker 1>later where Bron confronted Paul Hayman about Oba and told him,
<v Speaker 1>in no uncertain terms, I'm going after Oba Femi. This
<v Speaker 1>was not like, oh, they're planting the seed for WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>in nine months, or they're planting the seed for somewhere
<v Speaker 1>down the road a big match between these two. No, like,
<v Speaker 1>my takeaway from what we saw tonight is that they're
<v Speaker 1>planting the seeds for a match like in the next
<v Speaker 1>month or two, maybe Oba's next big challenger here is
<v Speaker 1>going to be bron Breaker, like this is on the
<v Speaker 1>horizon very soon, which I love, I fucking love it.
<v Speaker 1>I hope that's the case. I really do. I hope
<v Speaker 1>that's the case. Don't tease us and then not give
<v Speaker 1>it to us again. That's a match that people can
<v Speaker 1>get excited about. That's a match between two people that
<v Speaker 1>this company should be able to rely on as two
<v Speaker 1>of the top faces that will help carry them into
<v Speaker 1>the future. Bron Breaker is not there yet. Bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>has been cooled off right. Oba has leapfrogged him, but
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker is still somebody that they clearly they want
<v Speaker 1>him to get to where Oba is right now. I
<v Speaker 1>think the two of them can help each other. So
<v Speaker 1>that was very exciting and very interesting to see. We
<v Speaker 1>also have the returns of two names, two big names
<v Speaker 1>in the women's division on Raw, one of which is
<v Speaker 1>Becky Lynch. They were an eye Yowa tonight. No seth
<v Speaker 1>rollins on the show, but Becky was there, and I
<v Speaker 1>speculated about this during the Summer Slim review over the weekend.
<v Speaker 1>I said, well, if she's gonna come back, I'm thinking
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night would be a good time for Stephanie Vacaire
<v Speaker 1>to show her face. And sure enough, finally, for the
<v Speaker 1>first time since right after WrestleMania, Stephanie Vicaire is back,
<v Speaker 1>whatever the reasons were, if you watched this season of
<v Speaker 1>Unreal She I don't remember which episode it was of
<v Speaker 1>the five, but in one of the episodes it was
<v Speaker 1>right after she lost to Live at WrestleMania, She's getting
<v Speaker 1>very emotional. She was in the back and she was
<v Speaker 1>talking about how she's been going NonStop in the ring
<v Speaker 1>on the road for like ten years, and she's she's
<v Speaker 1>hurting physically, like she's beat up. So there were all
<v Speaker 1>sorts of rumors about why hasn't she been back? Was
<v Speaker 1>it an injury, was it visa issues? Maybe it was both.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, who the hell knows, Right, I'm inclined to
<v Speaker 1>believe that she just needed some time off to just
<v Speaker 1>rest her body, heal up, and come back when the
<v Speaker 1>time is right. Well, the time is right because we
<v Speaker 1>cannot go through another period like we just did Live Morgan,
<v Speaker 1>where Live Morgan is on the show everywhere, And what
<v Speaker 1>have I been saying now for months, literally on these reviews,
<v Speaker 1>I have talked about how Live Morgan feels more like
<v Speaker 1>a manager. She's more like a valet for the Judgment day.
<v Speaker 1>That's the exact language that Becky Lynch used in her
<v Speaker 1>promo tonight, because everybody can see it and they know it.
<v Speaker 1>They know how ridiculous it is that they put the
<v Speaker 1>Women's championship on this woman at WrestleMania and she went
<v Speaker 1>well over one hundred days from many at a Summer
<v Speaker 1>Slam without a single title defense. It is ridiculous because
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie was banged up, she wasn't around. They didn't have
<v Speaker 1>a plan B. Well, now they have a Plan A
<v Speaker 1>and a Plan B for her coming out of SummerSlam
<v Speaker 1>in the form of Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vicaire and
<v Speaker 1>all of a sudden, in one night, the women woman's
<v Speaker 1>division has more depth at the top when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to the Women's World Championship than they have had in months. Now.
<v Speaker 1>Things are starting to get interesting here now Live Morgan
<v Speaker 1>has multiple challengers that she could work with, and you
<v Speaker 1>still in the back have the story if they ever
<v Speaker 1>want to finally pursue it of her and Raquel, Her
<v Speaker 1>and Rock sand Right now they're on solid footing. Everything's
<v Speaker 1>great in the Judgment day. But it won't be that
<v Speaker 1>way forever, so you still have that, you know, those
<v Speaker 1>possible stories lingering in the background. Chad Gable, he is
<v Speaker 1>the new Intercontinental Champion coming out of WrestleMania, long overdue.
<v Speaker 1>Very happy to see him get in ring promo time
<v Speaker 1>here on this show. You would think, yeah, of course
<v Speaker 1>they'll give him promo time. It's not a guarantee. So
<v Speaker 1>I was happy that they gave him the mic. It's
<v Speaker 1>the only way he's going to continue to try to
<v Speaker 1>get over on these shows. First of all, get him
<v Speaker 1>on the show every week, put a mic in his hand,
<v Speaker 1>let him address the people. And he went out there.
<v Speaker 1>He cut a great baby little baby face promo, and
<v Speaker 1>Penta came out and it led to a tag match.
<v Speaker 1>But Gable being in this position is something that should
<v Speaker 1>have happened a long time ago. I'm glad it's happening now.
<v Speaker 1>Long may he rain right. It's just a matter of
<v Speaker 1>finding the right stories and the right people for him
<v Speaker 1>to work with. I still feel like, before this year
<v Speaker 1>is over, a very good chance Ethan Page will end
<v Speaker 1>up with that championship. I mean, I'm already looking ahead
<v Speaker 1>to people that he could potentially work with and take
<v Speaker 1>the title from him. But I'm just trying to think of, like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>who can he work with and what stories are there
<v Speaker 1>for him over the next three, four or five six months,
<v Speaker 1>And hopefully they're doing the same thing. Hopefully he's important
<v Speaker 1>enough to them on that show that they're mapping it
<v Speaker 1>out in the same way. So I'm very happy to
<v Speaker 1>see him in that spot. And we have the return
<v Speaker 1>after eight years away from w w WEE boy, if
<v Speaker 1>you didn't feel funck old watching all of these legends
<v Speaker 1>drop off and retire and leave Colin Cassidy. It's been
<v Speaker 1>almost a decade since he was in WWE, and now
<v Speaker 1>he's back and he is fucking gigantic. I mean, we've
<v Speaker 1>seen him in recent years in aw although not very often,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't know. I mean, he was always a
<v Speaker 1>big guy, but he looked big the way he looks
<v Speaker 1>on this show. The way they're shooting him, like when
<v Speaker 1>he came out, they were shooting him intentionally low, like
<v Speaker 1>they had the camera probably sitting on the mat, like
<v Speaker 1>we're looking up at him, and he looks like fucking
<v Speaker 1>Andre the Giant out there, and he's in the best
<v Speaker 1>shape of his life. He's motivated. He's been through a lot.
<v Speaker 1>He's had substance abuse issues in the past. It really
<v Speaker 1>derailed him. He was on a bad path and he
<v Speaker 1>got his life in order. You know, He's got a
<v Speaker 1>great story in that regard, and this is his second chance.
<v Speaker 1>And so now he is on the Monday Night Raw roster.
<v Speaker 1>I assume. I mean, they didn't actually say that he
<v Speaker 1>was on Raw per se, but they've been running these
<v Speaker 1>vignettes on Raw. He debuted on Raw. He may not
<v Speaker 1>have signed the contract, but I have to assume he's
<v Speaker 1>going to be a part of Raw. But then again,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, does it really matter anymore? We have Royce
<v Speaker 1>Keys all over this show. He feels like a Raw guy.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, was he moved to Raw and nobody nobody
<v Speaker 1>said anything? Is he officially now on the Raw roster?
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know. Maybe he was quietly moved to Raw.
<v Speaker 1>Nobody seems to say anything about this stuff. But he's
<v Speaker 1>He's at the fucking main event tonight. Okay, sure, why not?
<v Speaker 1>So Big Cast can go wherever he wants. Everybody else can.
<v Speaker 1>Why should he be any different? But again, I just
<v Speaker 1>laid out a whole bunch of different things to you right,
<v Speaker 1>Roman and different things going on with Roman La Night
<v Speaker 1>and Roman Oba and Braun, Becky is back, Stephanie is back,
<v Speaker 1>Cast is back, Gables a champion, right, all these different things.
<v Speaker 1>This is good. That's why I said at the beginning.
<v Speaker 1>It almost feels like they've hit the reset button in
<v Speaker 1>some ways, which is something that was desperately needed for
<v Speaker 1>this show. And the wrestling that we y was actually
<v Speaker 1>uh pretty good too. We got some good wrestling on
<v Speaker 1>this show. So we're gonna talk about the entire thing here.
<v Speaker 1>It's good to have some excitement with this show. It's
<v Speaker 1>been devoid of it for a while now. Oh, I
<v Speaker 1>didn't even mention no Dan Housen on this show. There
<v Speaker 1>was no Dan Housen. There was no human monies. Hopefully
<v Speaker 1>that story is dead. Finally, this is your Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>Raw review. It is August third, twenty twenty six. I
<v Speaker 1>am the Solemn Monzer August third, now that I say
<v Speaker 1>that date out loud, twenty nine years ago, on this
<v Speaker 1>very night, maybe the greatest finished to a Summer Slim
<v Speaker 1>main event of all time, Brett Hart and the Undertaker
<v Speaker 1>for the WWF Championship, Shawn Michaels as the guest referee
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slim Heart and Soul. Poor Stone Cold got dropped
<v Speaker 1>on his head that night. So yeah, there's your this
<v Speaker 1>day in History note. Thank you for everybody who hung
<v Speaker 1>out with me this weekend. We had a lot of
<v Speaker 1>people joining on Saturday and Sunday night for the SummerSlam
<v Speaker 1>post shows. You guys made both of those streams a
<v Speaker 1>big success. We picked up a whole bunch of new subscribers.
<v Speaker 1>We did recently hit ninety three thousand. As I said
<v Speaker 1>on the sound of Dave Melter may say that I
<v Speaker 1>have seventy eight thousand, that's the real number, but fuck off, Dave.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for ninety three k though. Hit that subscribe button,
<v Speaker 1>hit that like button. Superchats are open enough, yes, Barry
<v Speaker 1>MK with the fifteen dollars enough superchats, superchats just like that.
<v Speaker 1>They are open and I will be reading through all
<v Speaker 1>of them, so get them on in. I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>bring up the wheel right now, the Wheel o fun.
<v Speaker 1>Find out how many likes we need before we get
<v Speaker 1>into this to do our Be the Booker segment. We
<v Speaker 1>had some very interesting rounds of Be the Booker this weekend.
<v Speaker 1>We had a whole bunch of them. Actually, four sixty five,
<v Speaker 1>somebody said Dan Housen was on the show during the
<v Speaker 1>commercial breaks giving out human money. Good good, keep him
<v Speaker 1>on the commercial That's fine. On a show like tonight
<v Speaker 1>that had a lot of different things going on. We
<v Speaker 1>did not need Dan Housen on this show, So let
<v Speaker 1>him be relegated to the commercials for a change instead
<v Speaker 1>of some of the other folks who usually end up
<v Speaker 1>during the commercial breaks. Anyway, four sixty five, get those
<v Speaker 1>likes up and we'll do that later. So and still
<v Speaker 1>the world heavyweight Champion Roman reigns. He was out first
<v Speaker 1>to open the show. He made his way out to
<v Speaker 1>the ring by himself. He was doing some farming on
<v Speaker 1>his way to the ring. Very important. We've got to
<v Speaker 1>respect our farmers. There is no more important farmer in
<v Speaker 1>this country than an Aura farmer. So he came out.
<v Speaker 1>He took his sweet time. He asked Iowa, actually he
<v Speaker 1>demanded that Iowa acknowledge him. He said that earlier this year,
<v Speaker 1>after he won the Royal Rumble, told us he was
<v Speaker 1>going to save this place. So he went to WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>He beat the old man. He saved the summer for us,
<v Speaker 1>and last night he beat Seth Rollins, and he knows
<v Speaker 1>in these parts that's things a little bit because Seth
<v Speaker 1>Seth's an Iowa guy, Rollins is their boy. Rollins is
<v Speaker 1>also his brother. The two of them made peace, though
<v Speaker 1>he can only take so much, but he doesn't mind
<v Speaker 1>it if the fans want to chant. And so he
<v Speaker 1>held the microphone up and they all sang his stupid song.
<v Speaker 1>And then La Knight came out and I said, and
<v Speaker 1>my ears perked up. I said, oh, okay, here we go.
<v Speaker 1>This is what we've been waiting for. Here. So he
<v Speaker 1>comes down to the ring and he congratulates Roman on
<v Speaker 1>his win at SummerSlam, still being the world champion, and
<v Speaker 1>even though he and Seth both said Roman couldn't do
<v Speaker 1>it by himself, he did it by his damn self.
<v Speaker 1>But he told Roman, you're still a fraud. He's been
<v Speaker 1>calling his name for months. But instead of answering, he
<v Speaker 1>six the dogs. Well, he beat all of them, So
<v Speaker 1>he wants what he owes him. Last time it was
<v Speaker 1>the two of them one on one, it wasn't so
<v Speaker 1>one on one, So he wants what he gave Seth Rollins.
<v Speaker 1>Give me that. No bloodline, no bs, they could do
<v Speaker 1>it tonight. They could do it next week, they could
<v Speaker 1>do it at money in the bank, or hell, they
<v Speaker 1>could wait until WrestleMania next year. But the only right
<v Speaker 1>answer is yeah. So Roman said fraud. Who the hell
<v Speaker 1>are you call me a fraud? What do you think
<v Speaker 1>you're talking to? He only sees one fraud here, he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't talk about being a megastar. And then wear a
<v Speaker 1>Walmart watch on his wrist, and then Roman showed off
<v Speaker 1>his very fancy watch. Roman is a big watch a ficionado.
<v Speaker 1>There's a video there's some popular watch guy forgot his
<v Speaker 1>name on YouTube. There's a video from like many months
<v Speaker 1>ago where Roman was in his office and Roman brought
<v Speaker 1>in a box and he opened the box and he's
<v Speaker 1>got like a bunch of watches in there, and I
<v Speaker 1>guess he's like giving the watch to the guy. What
<v Speaker 1>do you think about this one? Is this? You know?
<v Speaker 1>Is this nice? Or? And the guy's like looking at
<v Speaker 1>the watch and grating this. So he's like he's big.
<v Speaker 1>He's big on watches. He is Roman. So he's showing
<v Speaker 1>off his watch and he goes, oh, you beat my great?
<v Speaker 1>You want a six man tag team match? What else
<v Speaker 1>have you done? Says he hasn't won a tournament. You
<v Speaker 1>haven't won a Battle Royal. What else have you done?
<v Speaker 1>You don't get a title match by bitching and moaning,
<v Speaker 1>get to the back of the line. So he went
<v Speaker 1>to go leave, and Knight told him hold up, said
<v Speaker 1>he's earned it time and time again, and it took
<v Speaker 1>Roman and thirty eight people to beat him last time.
<v Speaker 1>What a coincidence that he and Seth were in a
<v Speaker 1>group called the Shield, because all he's done is use
<v Speaker 1>the numbers game to shield himself from guys like him.
<v Speaker 1>Because and then he mocked the Shield. He did the
<v Speaker 1>Shield intro said Yankee Oscar uniform, Sierra uniform, Charlie Kilo,
<v Speaker 1>you suck. I guess he thought he thought it was
<v Speaker 1>funny when he came up with it. So he goes,
<v Speaker 1>don't get lost in the sauce. He's not on Knight's level.
<v Speaker 1>He's everything Roman, everything Roman wished he could be but
<v Speaker 1>couldn't be. So when Roman figures out where to buy
<v Speaker 1>a pair, if he can't grow one, come back and
<v Speaker 1>let him know, and he'll smack him back to factory
<v Speaker 1>settings because everyone knows the uncrowned champion with everybody saying
<v Speaker 1>and then he hit his catchphrase, and that's more like it.
<v Speaker 1>That's more like it. It's nice to see La Knight
<v Speaker 1>going right at Roman instead of bitching and moaning about
<v Speaker 1>you know this guy, he's a fraud. He can't be trusted.
<v Speaker 1>He's been saying this for months now. He's been saying
<v Speaker 1>it to anybody who would listen. He said it to Solo,
<v Speaker 1>he said it to the usos. Well, you got a
<v Speaker 1>problem with Roman, you go to Roman, right. It only
<v Speaker 1>makes sense. He beat Jay Uso in the six man
<v Speaker 1>tag at Summer Slim. What else would he be doing.
<v Speaker 1>La Knight comes out on the show tonight. If he's
<v Speaker 1>not going after the champion, what else would he be doing.
<v Speaker 1>Although I feel the same way about Oba, but in
<v Speaker 1>Night's case, it made sense that he would go right
<v Speaker 1>after Roman. I thought the watch line was the Walmart
<v Speaker 1>watch that was That was a nice burn, But I
<v Speaker 1>thought on the whole it was a much better promo
<v Speaker 1>for La Night. I thought he was on point tonight.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't. He didn't slip up the way that he
<v Speaker 1>sometimes does in these promo because he talks so fast.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like he's got all these different ideas going
<v Speaker 1>on in his head. And then he'll just he'll talk
<v Speaker 1>so fast he'll lose track of what he's trying to say.
<v Speaker 1>But I thought he was on point tonight. He mentioned
<v Speaker 1>money in the Bank, which I believe is their next
<v Speaker 1>pl e. I mean, maybe they're not doing Wressell Palooza.
<v Speaker 1>Have they said anything about Wressell Palooza. I mean they
<v Speaker 1>were so like I remember Mark Shapiro last year talking
<v Speaker 1>about this and saying, we really could see Wressell Palooza
<v Speaker 1>being like this new big annual event for us, Like
<v Speaker 1>they wanted Wressell Polluza to be on the same level
<v Speaker 1>of like Rumble and SummerSlam. And I'm like, yeah, well,
<v Speaker 1>good luck with that. But I don't think I've heard
<v Speaker 1>anything about it, So I don't know. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they're not doing it because he singled that money
<v Speaker 1>in the bank. Now, Roman is booked for Money in
<v Speaker 1>the Bank. Money in the Bank, though, is not until
<v Speaker 1>October tenth or twelfth or something like that. It's early October,
<v Speaker 1>so we're still a couple of months away from that.
<v Speaker 1>But it was very interesting him singling that out, knowing
<v Speaker 1>that Roman is booked for that date. This could be
<v Speaker 1>their way of you know, keeping him in the story
<v Speaker 1>or in the mix, but not giving him the match
<v Speaker 1>because Roman mentioned, you haven't done nothing yet, you haven't
<v Speaker 1>won a Battle Royal, you haven't won a tournament. Well,
<v Speaker 1>they got two months. Now, you got two months of
<v Speaker 1>television to put La Knight in whatever match or matches
<v Speaker 1>they want to do, to have him work his way
<v Speaker 1>up to being the number one contender. It is very
<v Speaker 1>funny to me though, because we're talking about earning a
<v Speaker 1>spot as number one contender and we're coming off a show.
<v Speaker 1>Clearly things work very differently on SmackDown with Nick All
<v Speaker 1>this because we had a guy who made his return
<v Speaker 1>to the ring last night after almost a year and
<v Speaker 1>a half and he was immediately thrust into a number
<v Speaker 1>one contenders match and he won and he will be
<v Speaker 1>wrestling CM Punk soon for the WWE Championship. So evidently
<v Speaker 1>Roman calls the shots on this show, and it works
<v Speaker 1>very different. See I'm raw, you have to earn your
<v Speaker 1>way into a world title unless you're the blood line.
<v Speaker 1>If you're family, then you get a title shot. But
<v Speaker 1>I mean Jacob got two of them, so I thought
<v Speaker 1>that was kind of funny. Hey Chicago for MBK, thank
<v Speaker 1>you for the gifted membership. I believe we had some
<v Speaker 1>others before was a death site. I didn't see who
<v Speaker 1>it was, but thank you guys. I appreciate that. But
<v Speaker 1>it's funny, you know. Money in the bank is also
<v Speaker 1>funny because I've had so many people ask me, like,
<v Speaker 1>who do you think is going to win money in
<v Speaker 1>the bank this year? Right? I get this question every
<v Speaker 1>now and then, and people will mention La Night. It
<v Speaker 1>ain't gonna be l A Knight. L A Knight is
<v Speaker 1>not winning money in the bank. L A. Knight is
<v Speaker 1>probably gonna wrestle Roman Reigns for the championship on that show,
<v Speaker 1>or or they got a Sunday Night's main event coming
<v Speaker 1>up before that. That is true. I mean they have
<v Speaker 1>that at the beginning of September, September sixth, I believe
<v Speaker 1>in Atlanta, so they could do the match there. They
<v Speaker 1>could do the match there. But La Knight winning money
<v Speaker 1>in the bank, you gotta give it up. It's just
<v Speaker 1>every year I get questions about this. It ain't gonna happen.
<v Speaker 1>It ain't gonna They're not giving him the briefcase, but
<v Speaker 1>they'll give him a title match and then he'll lose, right,
<v Speaker 1>and then they can move on to whoever the next
<v Speaker 1>person who's gonna be. That's pretty much how I see
<v Speaker 1>it working out. Maybe La Knight needs to switch brands.
<v Speaker 1>That way, he doesn't have to worry about earning anything.
<v Speaker 1>He just shows up. They'll probably make him number one
<v Speaker 1>contender on day one on SmackDown. The thing with SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>is when you look at the top of the card
<v Speaker 1>now on SmackDown, all of a sudden, I mean, you
<v Speaker 1>got Cody Rhodes, you got cmpunk all right, you got
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Owens, you got Randy Orton, you got Sammy Zain.
<v Speaker 1>I mean they're still building trick. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>you want to put him in that mix. Drew still
<v Speaker 1>hasn't come back yet. Honestly, I don't even think Drew
<v Speaker 1>belongs on SmackDown at this point. They're so front loaded
<v Speaker 1>on top he probably should come back to Raw. So,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they got a lot of people there at
<v Speaker 1>the top of the car's actually very crowded right now.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if you want to put Gunther right,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther Balor. It's very crowded at the top of the
<v Speaker 1>card there. So after a commercial break, it was Javon
<v Speaker 1>Evans against Ethan Page. They got a lot of time here,
<v Speaker 1>twelve minutes. I mean, I know, twelve minutes doesn't seem
<v Speaker 1>like a lot. It felt longer, not in a bad way.
<v Speaker 1>This was actually, I thought, a good match. Late in
<v Speaker 1>the match, Evans hit the red dot for a near fall.
<v Speaker 1>Page rolled him up with his feet on the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>The referee caught him. Page hit a confidence breaker, which
<v Speaker 1>is his version of a code breaker, and then a
<v Speaker 1>power slam, but only for a near fall. So Page
<v Speaker 1>dumped Evans out to the floor, and while the referee
<v Speaker 1>was counting, Page went to the opposite corner behind the
<v Speaker 1>reps back and started to undo the top turbucle bead.
<v Speaker 1>The referee turned around and spotted him and went over
<v Speaker 1>to stop him, and the two of them start arguing
<v Speaker 1>with each other, and Page has his back turned. All
<v Speaker 1>of a sudden, Javon Evans comes and he leaped frogs
<v Speaker 1>over both men and then leaps up to the top
<v Speaker 1>rope and he comes flying off with an og cutter.
<v Speaker 1>He drops him and he pins Ethan Page. And Page
<v Speaker 1>looks so goofy on the replay because they had this
<v Speaker 1>like aerial view of it that they probably thought, oh,
<v Speaker 1>this is a cool view. He got to show this.
<v Speaker 1>So they show it and you see Javon leapfrogs him
<v Speaker 1>and the referee, and then to give Javon time to
<v Speaker 1>make the leap up to the top and go for
<v Speaker 1>the cutter instead of just standing there and feeding for it,
<v Speaker 1>Ethan he's like, he spins around, like where is he?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know where he is? And then he turns
<v Speaker 1>back around and then he eats the cutter. This was
<v Speaker 1>good stuff, though, despite that little bit of a goofiness there.
<v Speaker 1>This was good stuff. And then as Javon was celebrating
<v Speaker 1>his victory, all of a sudden, somebody appears in the
<v Speaker 1>ring behind him. It's a big guy. I actually didn't
<v Speaker 1>recognize who it was at first. It took me a
<v Speaker 1>few seconds. I'm like staring, I go, is that is
<v Speaker 1>that him? I'm like, okay, yeah, it's him. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know who I thought it was at first, but I
<v Speaker 1>didn't recognize it. It was Big Casts And it's not
<v Speaker 1>like he's a small man. I mean, if you see
<v Speaker 1>him in person, you're gonna know right away who it is.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, so big Cast appears in the ring behind him,
<v Speaker 1>and this was his first time back on Raw in
<v Speaker 1>nine years. I know he was saying it's been eight
<v Speaker 1>years since he's been in the company, but the last
<v Speaker 1>time he worked a match on Monday Night Raw was
<v Speaker 1>twenty seventeen. So it's been nine years since we've seen
<v Speaker 1>this man here on this show. And that last match
<v Speaker 1>on Raw in twenty seventeen was against enzoa More and
<v Speaker 1>there was no Enzo Amore on this show. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if he's going to be coming in. I don't
<v Speaker 1>really have any need to see him with Cass. I
<v Speaker 1>think Cass and this role by himself is exactly how
<v Speaker 1>he needs to be. You want to put somebody with
<v Speaker 1>him as a mouthpiece, I suppose you could do that.
<v Speaker 1>But when I saw him out there by himself mowing
<v Speaker 1>this kid down, mowing him down with a big boot,
<v Speaker 1>putting him down with that swinging side slam. The old
<v Speaker 1>East River, Oh god, what they call it the East
<v Speaker 1>River Crossing, which is what he used to call it,
<v Speaker 1>and Cale used that name. He referred to it by
<v Speaker 1>that name here. But he plans Javon with the East
<v Speaker 1>River Crossing. This is this is the big cast. I
<v Speaker 1>was hoping we would get not any of this tag
<v Speaker 1>team nuns. I mean, that would have been so so
<v Speaker 1>stupid to bring him back as part of a tag
<v Speaker 1>team in a dead division. I mean, come on, man,
<v Speaker 1>that never made any sense to me. I understand the
<v Speaker 1>allure maybe of them wanting to do like a big
<v Speaker 1>cast in Enzo reunion, but I'll tell you something, I
<v Speaker 1>question how many people in that crowd would even remember them.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Enzo is on the mic. Enzo's like a wizard,
<v Speaker 1>so I mean he'd have the crowd at the palm
<v Speaker 1>of his hand pretty quick. But it's not like he
<v Speaker 1>got a big reaction here. He really didn't. I think
<v Speaker 1>the majority of the people in that crowd had no
<v Speaker 1>idea who he was because think about it, it's been
<v Speaker 1>eight years since he's been in the company at all.
<v Speaker 1>You would have to be an AW fan to even
<v Speaker 1>know who he is. And even then you might not
<v Speaker 1>know who he is because how often was he on
<v Speaker 1>eight WU television. He's been sitting on the fucking bench
<v Speaker 1>or and ring of honor. Now for how long you
<v Speaker 1>could be an AW observer, a watcher, a viewer, a fan,
<v Speaker 1>a sicko and still not recognize, Hey, who is that guy?
<v Speaker 1>That's how little we were seeing him on television since
<v Speaker 1>the Learning Tree stuff burned out, So there's a lot
<v Speaker 1>of people who don't know who he is. This may
<v Speaker 1>be their first introduction to him. So yeah, you could
<v Speaker 1>have done a Cast and ends O reunion, but I
<v Speaker 1>don't know that it would have gotten the reaction that
<v Speaker 1>they were necessarily hoping for. But this was a great reintroduction.
<v Speaker 1>He looked great, guy's in great shape. He's bigger than
<v Speaker 1>most of the roster. Dude, he's bigger than Oba. He
<v Speaker 1>looked bigger than Oba. That could be a match at
<v Speaker 1>some point Oba and Cass. So I'm happy for him.
<v Speaker 1>I know that. Again, he had a rough go of
<v Speaker 1>it there for a while after he was let go
<v Speaker 1>by the company, got his act together, got himself in
<v Speaker 1>great shape. He was kind of getting to push a
<v Speaker 1>little bit there in aaw and then when Jericho decided
<v Speaker 1>to step away, it really, it really fucked him over.
<v Speaker 1>There was no payoff to any of that, and Tony
<v Speaker 1>Khan just lost interest. So he had him paired up
<v Speaker 1>with Brian Keith and they did the tag team thing
<v Speaker 1>and nobody saw them. It's basically out of sight, out
<v Speaker 1>of mind. And he's not exactly a young guy. Anymore.
<v Speaker 1>So it's like you can only sit on the sidelines
<v Speaker 1>for so long. You know, you got to you gotta
<v Speaker 1>do something right. You got to make a decision about
<v Speaker 1>do you want to stay in that situation or do
<v Speaker 1>you want to take a chance on yourself and go
<v Speaker 1>somewhere else. Well, now he's back home and it looks
<v Speaker 1>like he's going to be a heel on this show.
<v Speaker 1>So we'll see, we'll see how he does. He appears
<v Speaker 1>to be back as a heel. We go to the
<v Speaker 1>back Roman is with the bloodline. He is browbeating all
<v Speaker 1>of them for losing its SummerSlam said, you lost to
<v Speaker 1>your little brother? Said where is solo? Yeah, we had
<v Speaker 1>no solo so CoA. See, actually I did miss solo Soco.
<v Speaker 1>I never thought I would hear myself saying those words.
<v Speaker 1>I was kind of hoping he would be on the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight. There was no solo, so CoA. But they go,
<v Speaker 1>you lost to your little brother, and then he goes
<v Speaker 1>la night, coming out here and disrespecting me and Royce Keys.
<v Speaker 1>Who is this guy? Why does he keep saying that
<v Speaker 1>your family, Jacob? Why does he keep saying this says
<v Speaker 1>he's not my family? He says, Keys was just one
<v Speaker 1>of the boys. He's not the bloodline. This is right here,
<v Speaker 1>this is the only bloodline. So Jimmy said, hey, you
<v Speaker 1>say the word and we'll take care of La Knight.
<v Speaker 1>Roman said, no, you're gonna leave that fool to me.
<v Speaker 1>Don't touch him. So Roman left and this was actually
<v Speaker 1>the funniest part of the entire show. So Roman walks away,
<v Speaker 1>and as soon as Roman walks away, in walks La
<v Speaker 1>Knight right from around the corner and he's strolling on by.
<v Speaker 1>He's wheeling his luggage, and as he's wheeling his luggage,
<v Speaker 1>he says, I'm I'm walking on by here with my
<v Speaker 1>Walmart watch and my Walmart bag. But did I just
<v Speaker 1>overhear someone say leave him alone? So Jay Usso got
<v Speaker 1>up in his face, and Knight told him, hey, be careful.
<v Speaker 1>You don't want your daddy to come back here and
<v Speaker 1>put you over his knee, now, do you, because I'll
<v Speaker 1>see you next week. And then he kind of he
<v Speaker 1>stepped to Jay to try to spook him, and Jay
<v Speaker 1>flinched and Knight laughed and he left. This was great.
<v Speaker 1>La Knight was having a grand all time here. He
<v Speaker 1>was enjoying himself because he's off limits, right, don't touch him,
<v Speaker 1>leave him to me. So now he's gonna have some fun.
<v Speaker 1>Let me say, this is the second time this week,
<v Speaker 1>by the way that La Knight has buried jay Uso.
<v Speaker 1>He made the whole lot of them look like geeks
<v Speaker 1>here in this segment. It was glorious. Usually it's La
<v Speaker 1>Night who ends up looking like the dweeb, you know,
<v Speaker 1>laying on the mat looking up at the lights. So
<v Speaker 1>it's nice to have for a chain to shoe on
<v Speaker 1>the other foot. So after a commercial break in the back,
<v Speaker 1>Jacob Faughtu was sitting by himself and he was deep
<v Speaker 1>in contemplation when Royce Key showed up and this is
<v Speaker 1>where I saw him, And I said, did they flip
<v Speaker 1>him over to Raw and just didn't tell anybody? Is
<v Speaker 1>he not still on the SmackDown roster page? See a
<v Speaker 1>free agent all of a sudden, and nobody told me.
<v Speaker 1>He just happened to be there. That's what's funny to me.
<v Speaker 1>Like he wasn't even scheduled for a match until like
<v Speaker 1>this segment here, and it's like, is he just randomly
<v Speaker 1>hanging around backstage of Raw and smack that in case
<v Speaker 1>he's needed I guess so, so, he reminded, Jacob, you
<v Speaker 1>know you and I we fought each other, we fought together.
<v Speaker 1>I can forget everything, but you're my brother. Ten toes down,
<v Speaker 1>I'm still rolling with you. We're family. Jacob stood up,
<v Speaker 1>got in his face and told them you ain't my
<v Speaker 1>brother or my family. Said you're just one of the
<v Speaker 1>boys on Bloodline. So tonight, me and you in a
<v Speaker 1>street fight. I'm gonna dog walk your ass. And he
<v Speaker 1>walked off. So our main event, our impromptum main event,
<v Speaker 1>was made here in this segment. It's a good thing
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys happened to be in the back, Otherwise we
<v Speaker 1>might not have had a main event tonight Live Morgan.
<v Speaker 1>She'd led the Judgment Day the ladies of the Judgment
<v Speaker 1>Day down to the ring, including the new Intercontinental Champion,
<v Speaker 1>not Chad Gable. He came later the other new Intercontinental Champion,
<v Speaker 1>Riquel Rodriguez, who I don't know if you noticed her
<v Speaker 1>belt is now wrapped in barbed wire. Fake barbed wire,
<v Speaker 1>but barbed wire are all the same. I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why I get. Maybe it's a death
<v Speaker 1>match title. Now that's gonna be her new gimmick death
<v Speaker 1>match Raquel. If you saw her last week, she was
<v Speaker 1>all bloodied up. She had blood poured out of her nose,
<v Speaker 1>the new death match title in WWA. By the way,
<v Speaker 1>somebody told me I haven't checked, but somebody told me
<v Speaker 1>on the replay of the archived episode last week of
<v Speaker 1>Raw that the camera angles were all like changed and
<v Speaker 1>they have this panned out far away view for like
<v Speaker 1>half the match so that they don't show how bloody.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, at least they didn't blur her out. I
<v Speaker 1>guess like they did bron Breaker that time. But can
<v Speaker 1>anybody vouch for this? Can somebody go back and check
<v Speaker 1>and see if they have changed the camera angles for
<v Speaker 1>that Soul Ruka Raquel match from last week? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>this is really getting out of hand now. Live bragged
<v Speaker 1>about beating EO Sky at SummerSlam and said that she
<v Speaker 1>doesn't see any other challengers. I have no other challengers.
<v Speaker 1>So she's going to be the longest rainning Women's champion
<v Speaker 1>of all time. And I'm watching this and I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>if nobody comes out right now, how is that going
<v Speaker 1>to make this division look right? And nobody came out now,
<v Speaker 1>we would find out soon why but at that moment,
<v Speaker 1>nobody came out to kind of question her on that.
<v Speaker 1>So then she put over the new champion, Raquel. She
<v Speaker 1>put over their prodigy, Roxane Perez, who's going to take
<v Speaker 1>care of soul Ruka tonight. Sol Ruka made her way
<v Speaker 1>out for the next match, which started during the commercial break.
<v Speaker 1>It was Soul Ruka one on one with Roxane Perez
<v Speaker 1>for the finish. Uh. They were having a solid enough match.
<v Speaker 1>For the finish, Soul went for the Soul snatcher as
<v Speaker 1>she hit the ropes, Live reached up, grabbed her foot,
<v Speaker 1>tripped her and Soul took a hard bump backwards onto
<v Speaker 1>the back of her head. The referee saw it. The
<v Speaker 1>referee call for the disqualification, so that sucked. Perez then
<v Speaker 1>hit pop rocks on Soul. Raquel got in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>she dumped her with a tehanabamb and so it's a
<v Speaker 1>it's a gang assault here on Soul Ruka. Until we
<v Speaker 1>hear Becky Lynch's music, we haven't seen her in a
<v Speaker 1>couple of months. I don't think since she lost the
<v Speaker 1>IC title to Soul Ruca. I think in Italy out
<v Speaker 1>comes Becky to the ring and now correct me if
<v Speaker 1>I'm wrong. I know Seth is from Davenport. Do they
<v Speaker 1>still live in Davenport? Because I think she I think
<v Speaker 1>she lives in Iowa now, so she it's kind of
<v Speaker 1>her adopted hometown. Or is it just that he's from
<v Speaker 1>Davenport and they live somewhere else? I want to say
<v Speaker 1>they're there. I think Seth has his own coffee shop
<v Speaker 1>there too. But anyway, so she said that she already
<v Speaker 1>made the intercontinental title famous. I'm not here for that.
<v Speaker 1>So she said that she came for Live to make
<v Speaker 1>sure that it's not another one hundred days before she
<v Speaker 1>defends her championship again. All Live has done since becoming
<v Speaker 1>champion is become a glorified valet. She I wonder who
<v Speaker 1>else has said that in recent months a women's champion
<v Speaker 1>should be fighting, not flirting. Live has had the worst
<v Speaker 1>title reign of all time, and it's not just her
<v Speaker 1>saying it. Everybody is saying it. Things are about to
<v Speaker 1>get a whole lot worse for Live. So Live then
<v Speaker 1>suggests that Becky should be at home being a mom
<v Speaker 1>to her daughter. Becky is only in Live's face right
<v Speaker 1>now because she's jealous of her. Becky's time is over lives.
<v Speaker 1>Time is now, so she does her catch phrase, she
<v Speaker 1>leaves the ring. Becky's talking though, and she says, you're
<v Speaker 1>not even the best women's champion in your own group.
<v Speaker 1>She goes, you're not even the best women's champion that's
<v Speaker 1>slept with Dominic mysterio. Look at this, Becky Lynch with
<v Speaker 1>the jokes today. I've always kind of like tap danced
<v Speaker 1>around the issue here, but this is the first time
<v Speaker 1>anybody has come right out on this show and said
<v Speaker 1>that Dom is just sleeping with everybody. Even when you
<v Speaker 1>see domin live out there, they never actually kiss. They're
<v Speaker 1>always like rubbing noses. They're all up at each other's faces,
<v Speaker 1>but they never actually Like Austin Theory and Maxine Dupree,
<v Speaker 1>we're like eating each other's face a few weeks ago, right,
<v Speaker 1>but you never see that with Dom. And then Becky
<v Speaker 1>just goes out there and says, yeah, he's you know,
<v Speaker 1>he's fucking Rhea Ripley, he's fucking liv Morgan. Who else
<v Speaker 1>is he with? I don't know, I don't know. Dom
<v Speaker 1>gets around. So Stephanie Vicerre's music hits Live isn't even
<v Speaker 1>all the way down the aisle yet, and they play
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie's music and she comes out, first time we've seen
<v Speaker 1>her in months. So now Live is trapped, she has
<v Speaker 1>nowhere to go. She comes back down to the ring.
<v Speaker 1>She's trying to run away. She's literally on hands and
<v Speaker 1>knees in the ring, trying to crawl out. On the
<v Speaker 1>other side, Stephanie grabs her. Becky's watching this, just sitting
<v Speaker 1>in the corner, watching all this. Stephanie mounts her, she
<v Speaker 1>starts raining, punches down on her. Raquel and Roxanne they
<v Speaker 1>try to get involved, they get knocked down. Liv gets
<v Speaker 1>put down. She exits Becky. Once the judgment day has
<v Speaker 1>been dispatched. Becky gets up in Stephanie's face. Stephanie gets
<v Speaker 1>up in Becky's face and we have a long stare
<v Speaker 1>down and Becky is, you know, talking to her, and
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie's talking back. Becky says, stay out of my way.
<v Speaker 1>It was Becky who said that, and Stephanie said, or
<v Speaker 1>what right. So it's not like their allies or friends
<v Speaker 1>or anything like that. Their competition For the first time
<v Speaker 1>in a long time, we actually it feels like we
<v Speaker 1>actually have competition here in the women's division. No, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know where EO Sky was obviously she was beaten
<v Speaker 1>fair and square at summers Oh pretty much. I mean
<v Speaker 1>the judgment they got involved, but she lost at SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>I don't imagine that she's going to be involved in
<v Speaker 1>the women's world title scene. I don't know what EO
<v Speaker 1>is going to be doing. She wasn't on the show tonight,
<v Speaker 1>but one person is not competition in the division. And
<v Speaker 1>in one night they established two challengers for Live Morgan,
<v Speaker 1>which is great because it was pathetic. The run that
<v Speaker 1>she had from WrestleMania is summer slim. Everything Becky said
<v Speaker 1>in this promo tonight, you know what that was. Whether
<v Speaker 1>it was Becky or the writers or whoever, it was
<v Speaker 1>people who were getting the same feedback that you were
<v Speaker 1>getting here in this review. Every week they were seeing
<v Speaker 1>the same thing on social media. Because I'm sure I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't the only one saying, oh, she's a valet and
<v Speaker 1>this is the worst rain ever in over one hundred
<v Speaker 1>days and no defense, right, this is all established fact.
<v Speaker 1>It sucked. It's boring. You're gonna put a championship on
<v Speaker 1>somebody and then not have them defend it, you may
<v Speaker 1>as well not even put it on them At all.
<v Speaker 1>It was terrible. The worst women's title run that we've
<v Speaker 1>ever had, at least of that length. Maybe there are
<v Speaker 1>worst title runs that were like a week, but this
<v Speaker 1>was one hundred plus days of nothing, absolutely nothing. So
<v Speaker 1>at least, thank God, finally we have I say, new face,
<v Speaker 1>and now that Becky is a new face per se,
<v Speaker 1>but we have some new faces that are in the
<v Speaker 1>mix now to make things a little more interesting. So
<v Speaker 1>I think that's great. Soul. Ruka just vanished. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what happened to her in the middle of all
<v Speaker 1>this stuff. She just disappeared. She just vanished. I assume
<v Speaker 1>the plan is to get the velt back on her
<v Speaker 1>the icy title. At some point she'll have to claw
<v Speaker 1>her way back into that. She hasn't been having any
<v Speaker 1>good luck. Recently, they aired a brock lesnar a tribute
<v Speaker 1>package to the tune of I stand Alone by Godsmack,
<v Speaker 1>same video they aired after WrestleMania when he fake retired
<v Speaker 1>the first time, and they wanted us to believe that
<v Speaker 1>brock Lesner is done. We believe brock Lesner really is done.
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman was saying to Adam Pearce, he's retired. I'm
<v Speaker 1>filing retirement papers for Brock. Then two weeks later he
<v Speaker 1>was back on TV. Fool me once. Excuse me if
<v Speaker 1>I don't get teary eyed. It's a great song, though.
<v Speaker 1>It's always good to hear god Smack on raw compared
<v Speaker 1>to some of the other music they've used in the
<v Speaker 1>last five years. I'll take some Godsmack. So then we
<v Speaker 1>go backstage live and Paul Hayman is standing there. Hey Leo,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the super chat. There's the nipple confetti
<v Speaker 1>from Curtis Axel. The stage says, didn't even fool me once. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I had my doubts. I started to believe. I started
<v Speaker 1>to buy into it though, But you ain't gonna get
<v Speaker 1>me again. You ain't gonna get me again. Where there's
<v Speaker 1>a big payday and a big match to be had,
<v Speaker 1>especially on an overseas show, Brock Lesnar will lace up
<v Speaker 1>the boots once more. But Paul Hayman's in the back,
<v Speaker 1>standing all by himself in his pinstripe suit, watching the
<v Speaker 1>show on a monitor, having just seen the Brock video package,
<v Speaker 1>and in the background up comes Obafemi and he's wearing
<v Speaker 1>he was wearing something different, some sort of shawl or
<v Speaker 1>something that he was wearing. I don't know the significance
<v Speaker 1>of it, but he was dressed up a little bit differently.
<v Speaker 1>But he comes walking by and he tells Paul Hayman
<v Speaker 1>to thank Brock for him for the things that Brock
<v Speaker 1>said about him at SummerSlam when Brock put him over
<v Speaker 1>at the end of their match. Next time you see him,
<v Speaker 1>thank him for me. And Hayman said he would, and
<v Speaker 1>he congratulated Oba on his win, and off went Oba,
<v Speaker 1>and Oba was out to the ring next to address
<v Speaker 1>his public. So that he and Brock went to war
<v Speaker 1>inside hell and a cell. They both came out with
<v Speaker 1>scars and bruises, but also newfound respect for one another.
<v Speaker 1>Must have been his ignorance. He thought that Brock knew
<v Speaker 1>he was the one when he put him down to WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>That's why he thought. When Brock came back after Mania
<v Speaker 1>and made his life miserable for all those weeks, he
<v Speaker 1>thought that it was born out of envy or jealousy.
<v Speaker 1>But now with wisdom in hindsight, he realizes it was
<v Speaker 1>all a test. He needed to come back and find
<v Speaker 1>out if he chose right. If WrestleMania, the question was
<v Speaker 1>can Oba Femei swim. That question was answered very quickly,
<v Speaker 1>wasn't it. But then at SummerSlam, the question went from
<v Speaker 1>can you swim? To how long can you hold your breath?
<v Speaker 1>Brock took him to the deepest waters of the ocean
<v Speaker 1>and he came up and he passed the test, and
<v Speaker 1>now the beast can finally rest. He was wearing Mordecai.
<v Speaker 1>He was wearing Mordecai's robe. Didn't Mordecai have like a
<v Speaker 1>long staff that he would come out with. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Mordecai lasted all of like three weeks, so I don't
<v Speaker 1>remember everything about the gimmick. He goes. Now his destiny
<v Speaker 1>seems clearer than ever, and I'm like, here we go.
<v Speaker 1>He's gonna call out Roman reigns. His destiny is to
<v Speaker 1>be the champion of the world. Nope, he said, So
<v Speaker 1>with this torch that has been passed on to me,
<v Speaker 1>I will forge my own way and lead a new generation,
<v Speaker 1>a new crop of talent, and the old guard will fall.
<v Speaker 1>And if any man has a problem with him, they
<v Speaker 1>will answer to the ruler. And he went through all
<v Speaker 1>of his different nicknames. They will answer to Oba Femmy.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm waiting for somebody to come out and interrupt
<v Speaker 1>him here to set up whatever the next feud is
<v Speaker 1>going to be. I thought the line about the old
<v Speaker 1>Guard will fall, I thought that was very interesting. My
<v Speaker 1>first thought was, Okay, they're gonna have him run through
<v Speaker 1>some more old heads here, I said, Drew McIntyre probably
<v Speaker 1>belonged better on Raw than SmackDown. Would they do Oba
<v Speaker 1>and Drew. There's a little bit of history there, going
<v Speaker 1>back to Saturday Night's main event last year when Drew
<v Speaker 1>involved himself in Oba's match with Cody Rhodes and Oba
<v Speaker 1>put him down. That was never resolved. Drew McIntyre, he's
<v Speaker 1>part of the Old Guard, right, He's been around forever actually,
<v Speaker 1>But it'd be a great match too, So that was
<v Speaker 1>my first thought, is Drew part of that old Guard?
<v Speaker 1>Who else could be part the Old Guard? Who could
<v Speaker 1>work with Oba in these next several months, because they're
<v Speaker 1>obviously not going to put the championship on him just yet,
<v Speaker 1>so if they want him to run through some people first,
<v Speaker 1>then you know who's that going to be. But then
<v Speaker 1>we got our answer, or at least it appears we
<v Speaker 1>got our answer, because while this was a nice speech
<v Speaker 1>at all, he didn't give us any insight into who
<v Speaker 1>his next challenger is going to be like in the
<v Speaker 1>immediate future until he was walking out. As he's walking out,
<v Speaker 1>we hear the sirens for the Vision. An outcomes Broun, Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>Austin Theory, Maxine Dupree, and immediately Breaker locks eyes with Oba.
<v Speaker 1>Oba locks eyes with Bron. Camera gets all up in
<v Speaker 1>their shit their nose to nose. Theory has to back
<v Speaker 1>Breaker away because he's locked in. Right, this guy is
<v Speaker 1>in the zone, and we got a very intense stare
<v Speaker 1>down here between these two men until finally Bron got
<v Speaker 1>pulled away and then Oba left. This maybe more than
<v Speaker 1>anything else on this show, this right here got my
<v Speaker 1>attention because this is one of those matches with some
<v Speaker 1>of the newer guys, and again it reminded me of
<v Speaker 1>the Bron Breaker Jacob fatou thing a couple of years ago,
<v Speaker 1>where there's this excitement level that you can kind of
<v Speaker 1>feel with the audience, where, oh, this is a big match, right,
<v Speaker 1>it's never been done before. Two of the newer guys,
<v Speaker 1>the younger guys, these guys maybe the future of the
<v Speaker 1>company here and they're face to face. This is going
<v Speaker 1>to be a big match at some point, right, But
<v Speaker 1>they're teasing it now and you think to yourself, well,
<v Speaker 1>they probably wouldn't do this match now. Right. There was
<v Speaker 1>another segment that I'll get to a little bit later
<v Speaker 1>on where it sure feels like we're gonna be getting
<v Speaker 1>this a lot sooner than maybe we all thought. And
<v Speaker 1>I'm okay with that. I'm okay with that. There's going
<v Speaker 1>to be people who are like, well, you can't do
<v Speaker 1>it now. I mean, this is a future WrestleMania match. Sure,
<v Speaker 1>this could be a WrestleMania main event several times over
<v Speaker 1>in two years, three years, four years, next year. My
<v Speaker 1>guess is that Oba is going to be challenging for
<v Speaker 1>the championship. My guess is that we're gonna end up
<v Speaker 1>with Oba and Roman at WrestleMania next year, not Oba
<v Speaker 1>and Bron. You want to do Oba and Bron now.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see an issue with that, because we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>end up getting it in the future anyway, when they're
<v Speaker 1>even bigger than they are now. You want to give
<v Speaker 1>us a taste of the future. Now, you want to
<v Speaker 1>do that match at I don't know, money in the
<v Speaker 1>bank or something like that. Great, what are we waiting
<v Speaker 1>for Why do we keep pushing things off and pushing
<v Speaker 1>things off. Oh no, this is not the time. We
<v Speaker 1>got to save it for wrestle We gotta say, really, well,
<v Speaker 1>first of all, you can't save everything for WrestleMania number
<v Speaker 1>one and number two. The television has largely been so
<v Speaker 1>fucking terrible. Part of the reason that it has been
<v Speaker 1>so terrible is because they have been so afraid to
<v Speaker 1>push matches like this. They don't want to have these
<v Speaker 1>guys interact. They don't want to Oh we don't We
<v Speaker 1>can't do this right now. We can't give this away
<v Speaker 1>right now. They play it so safe, and it makes
<v Speaker 1>for boring television. These two guys in one segment knows
<v Speaker 1>to nose and I was more excited for anything than
<v Speaker 1>anything I've been excited for on Raw in months. You
<v Speaker 1>don't have to be afraid. You don't. When we were
<v Speaker 1>talking about the King of the Ring tournament, Opa Femi
<v Speaker 1>and bron Breaker were on the same side of the bracket,
<v Speaker 1>and in a perfect world, you would have had the
<v Speaker 1>first match in the King of the Ring. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure there are people who will We'll look at that
<v Speaker 1>and go, well that that would have been crazy because
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna throw it out there as a fucking King
<v Speaker 1>of the Ring semi final match. Sure, why not. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not say saying they have to go out there and
<v Speaker 1>have a fifteen minute barn burner. You could have done
<v Speaker 1>it in a way that kind of, you know, you
<v Speaker 1>wet people's beak and get them excited for what the
<v Speaker 1>future is going to look like when you eventually run
<v Speaker 1>this back a second time. But they went a totally
<v Speaker 1>different way with it than they I mean, what they
<v Speaker 1>did in that tournament was just ridiculous. I hope we
<v Speaker 1>are going to get Oba and Bron very soon. It
<v Speaker 1>feels like we are. I think that's the right move
<v Speaker 1>to make. We need this. This is the sort of
<v Speaker 1>thing we need more of on this show. Don't be afraid,
<v Speaker 1>don't be afraid to you know, let them interact and
<v Speaker 1>put them together and let them wrestle and let them,
<v Speaker 1>you know, just show what they can do against one
<v Speaker 1>another instead of just feeling like you have to do
<v Speaker 1>the young guys and the veterans. We've seen it so
<v Speaker 1>many times already with Oba wrestling Brock over and over again,
<v Speaker 1>and we've seen bron breaker in there with Cmpunk and
<v Speaker 1>Bron Breaker in there with Seth Rollins and Bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>in there with this guy in that. It's great, that's great,
<v Speaker 1>But you know what I want to see more of.
<v Speaker 1>I want to see more of Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes.
<v Speaker 1>More than Trick Williams and Baron Corby, I want to
<v Speaker 1>see more of like even what we got tonight with
<v Speaker 1>Jacob Fatu and Royce Keys, Jacob Fatu and Bron Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>Oba Femi and Bron Breaker, there's no reason that we
<v Speaker 1>shouldn't be getting more of this. Oba and his promo
<v Speaker 1>is talking about the old guard will fall. This is
<v Speaker 1>the new generation. Really well, show it, show it, no
<v Speaker 1>need to play it safe all the time. Hey Black Raven,
<v Speaker 1>thank you, he says, thank you for all you have
<v Speaker 1>done for the community. I have been watching for years.
<v Speaker 1>Your insights make me laugh when I struggle with issues
<v Speaker 1>from my time in the service. You and JD rock
<v Speaker 1>Brother well, I love hearing that, man. I appreciate that
<v Speaker 1>very much. And look, I'm glad these shows can can
<v Speaker 1>be entertainment for you. That's why we're doing them right.
<v Speaker 1>We always have fun here on the streams, even when
<v Speaker 1>the shows are fricking terrible. We always seem to have
<v Speaker 1>fun here, So if you're enjoying yourself, then I'm enjoying
<v Speaker 1>myself and I appreciate the support. Thank you so, bron Breaker.
<v Speaker 1>Even after Opa Femi left right, bron Breaker was staring
<v Speaker 1>at that stage. He did not break eyestride. He did
<v Speaker 1>not break eye contact the entire time, even after he
<v Speaker 1>got into the ring. And the reason he's in the
<v Speaker 1>ring is because he's wrestling, And I feel sorry for
<v Speaker 1>the person that he's going to be getting into the
<v Speaker 1>ring with and the person that he is wrestling just
<v Speaker 1>so happens to be Joe Hendry, Poor Joe. But I
<v Speaker 1>hear his music right, and I'm like, oh, it's gonna happen.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna happen. For the first time he comes out,
<v Speaker 1>he gets a full entrance, and I don't know. Now,
<v Speaker 1>I did not see a countdown clock, okay, because I'm
<v Speaker 1>watching on Netflix, but with my VPN, so I could
<v Speaker 1>see what happens during the commercial breaks. Maybe I looked away.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't see the countdown clock, uh in the corner
<v Speaker 1>of the screen, so I thought that they were live
<v Speaker 1>on Netflix. They were not at commercial I'm like, history
<v Speaker 1>has been made for the first time since he debuted
<v Speaker 1>in this company on the main roster. Joe Hendry got
<v Speaker 1>a proper not for like a run in. He got
<v Speaker 1>a proper entrance on the show for the first time ever.
<v Speaker 1>And then after he came out and came down to
<v Speaker 1>the ring and got into the ring, the screen went dark.
<v Speaker 1>And that's what usually happens when they were about to
<v Speaker 1>come back from commercial. It goes dark, three or four
<v Speaker 1>seconds go by, and then they come back on the
<v Speaker 1>En'm like, son of a bitch, they were at commercial
<v Speaker 1>the entire time. I thought that it was live on
<v Speaker 1>the show. I didn't know that they were at commercials. See,
<v Speaker 1>so I fucked myself into thinking that they actually gave
<v Speaker 1>this man a full entrance. I feel like an idiot now,
<v Speaker 1>I tweeted at I go history, and the tweet still up.
<v Speaker 1>I may as well leave my idiocy up there. I'm
<v Speaker 1>like history has been made. And then once I realized
<v Speaker 1>that I tweeted again, I said, fuck, that was a
<v Speaker 1>commercial foiled again. So the streak lives on everybody no entrance,
<v Speaker 1>No entrance for Joe Hendry. You got the jobber entrance
<v Speaker 1>breaker meanwhile, was not even paying any attention to him.
<v Speaker 1>He was still focused on the stage, and then the
<v Speaker 1>bell rang and the match started it and Henry is like,
<v Speaker 1>what's going on with this guy? Like we are we
<v Speaker 1>doing this or not? And Breaker turns around and he
<v Speaker 1>murders him with a clothesline hard enough that it sent
<v Speaker 1>him out of the ring. So Breaker then he went
<v Speaker 1>for the running spear that he does outside, but Henri
<v Speaker 1>I think he did a lait frog and Breaker went
<v Speaker 1>careening into the ring steps. So then Hendri tosses Austin
<v Speaker 1>Theory over the announced desk and he gets into the
<v Speaker 1>ring and as soon as he gets into the ring,
<v Speaker 1>he gets killed with a spear and pinned. Thanks for coming, Joe,
<v Speaker 1>don't know what else to say about it, really, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendry is Joe Henry is in the role that
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendry is going to be in from here on out.
<v Speaker 1>Simple as that. That's what you call domination, folks, Domination,
<v Speaker 1>total and complete domination. So Breaker was still very angry
<v Speaker 1>about Oba. He demanded his tag team belt and he left.
<v Speaker 1>Austin Theory got into the ring and he continued to
<v Speaker 1>beat up Joe Hendry some more because he wasn't thoroughly
<v Speaker 1>embarrassed enough. And here's how you know it's gotten really
<v Speaker 1>bad for Joe Hendry. Right, It's bad enough that he
<v Speaker 1>came out to the ring, he didn't get a televised entrance,
<v Speaker 1>His opponent wasn't even making eye contact with him, His
<v Speaker 1>opponent could not give a shit about him. His opponent
<v Speaker 1>then destroyed him in less than ninety seconds and pinned him.
<v Speaker 1>And then after the match he was being beaten up
<v Speaker 1>by Austin theory bad enough that Tozawa had to make
<v Speaker 1>the save for him. Do you really everything I just
<v Speaker 1>said is the sequence of events that unfolded here, culminating
<v Speaker 1>in Tozawa having to make the save for Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 1>I would hand in my resignation papers, nick All, This
<v Speaker 1>is not the one who should have handed in his
<v Speaker 1>letter of resignation the other night. It should have been
<v Speaker 1>Joe Hendry because it doesn't get any worse than this.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe he could sing a song about it next week.
<v Speaker 1>But that's the closest to a killer that bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>has looked in months. That's the bron Breaker we need
<v Speaker 1>to see more of now. The next step should be
<v Speaker 1>getting him the hell away from this vision nonsense. But
<v Speaker 1>we'll take it one week at a time here, but
<v Speaker 1>that version of a bron Breaker right there, that's the
<v Speaker 1>version that we need to see more of. None of
<v Speaker 1>this tag team bullshit that they have him doing, you know.
<v Speaker 1>And the thing I didn't mention before as far as
<v Speaker 1>Bron and Oba, I feel like any week now we
<v Speaker 1>could potentially get the return of Bronson Reid, who I
<v Speaker 1>assume is going to be still aligned with the Vision
<v Speaker 1>and bron Breaker. How does Bronson Reid fit into all that?
<v Speaker 1>You know, you could do something with Oba and Bron
<v Speaker 1>and you could have Reid make a comeback. Maybe they
<v Speaker 1>do the first match and that's where Bronson Reid comes back.
<v Speaker 1>You know, maybe Bronson Reed factors into that, and then
<v Speaker 1>you could even do Oba and Read, and you could
<v Speaker 1>do Oba and Break or I mean, you got you
<v Speaker 1>got some big matches that you could do there. Up
<v Speaker 1>next was the new Intercontinental Champion, Chad Gable for some
<v Speaker 1>time out to the ring to address the audience, and
<v Speaker 1>he was in his gear, was the first thing I noticed.
<v Speaker 1>And he was doing the clap to his new music.
<v Speaker 1>He's still trying to get that over, so the fans
<v Speaker 1>start channing. You deserve it says that everybody has been
<v Speaker 1>saying that he deserves it. He tries to earn everything
<v Speaker 1>that he gets, and he thanks everybody who says that.
<v Speaker 1>He thanks Penta for being a fighting champion and continuing
<v Speaker 1>to cement his legacy. Is quite possibly the greatest lutrador
<v Speaker 1>in history. I love it. I mean, it's just we'll
<v Speaker 1>just ignore. We'll just ignore, you know, just ignore the
<v Speaker 1>entire history of lucally Bray. I think Penta Penta may
<v Speaker 1>well be the greatest of all time. Sure in the
<v Speaker 1>w WE universe. Sure. So he thanked the fans for
<v Speaker 1>sticking with him for the last ten years. They stuck
<v Speaker 1>with him when he was Shorty G. Oh God, last
<v Speaker 1>thing we need on this show is a call back
<v Speaker 1>to Shortyg. Can we leave Shortyg in the grave? Please? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Santo Blue Demon mil Noscris is spinning in his grave
<v Speaker 1>and I don't even think he's dead yet. But they
<v Speaker 1>stuck with him through Shorty G and when he promised
<v Speaker 1>that he would become a single champion, they stuck with
<v Speaker 1>him as well. He tells his kids that when they
<v Speaker 1>make a promise, they better bust their ass and make
<v Speaker 1>sure that its true, and he did the same at
<v Speaker 1>Summer slam. He crawled through a river of crap and
<v Speaker 1>came out clean on the other side, came out as
<v Speaker 1>the new Intercontinental Champion. I thought, I love the little
<v Speaker 1>Shawshank redemption reference there. So pent his music hits. He
<v Speaker 1>comes down to the ring and he tells Chad, you
<v Speaker 1>deserve to be the champion. He said, last night they
<v Speaker 1>stole the show, and tonight he gives Chad his flowers.
<v Speaker 1>Chad has changed and now he has his respect. Chad
<v Speaker 1>is a true luchador now and one of the best
<v Speaker 1>wrestlers in the world. Well, I don't know about the
<v Speaker 1>luchador part, but he is one of the best wrestlers
<v Speaker 1>in the world. Justin G. Can we get slam Master
<v Speaker 1>J to team with Shorty G sometime? I'm not even
<v Speaker 1>going to dignify that with a response. So Penta is
<v Speaker 1>putting him over and the Judgment Day music hits an outcome.
<v Speaker 1>The men of the Judgment Day the only two men
<v Speaker 1>left of the Judgment Day, Dominic Mysterio and JD McDonough.
<v Speaker 1>So mcdonoughh doesn't want to hear this soppy crap about
<v Speaker 1>Chad being a real luchador, says dom is the King
<v Speaker 1>of the Luciadors and the Triple A Mega Champion. He's
<v Speaker 1>the greatest mysterio of all time. And he reminds Chad
<v Speaker 1>that you lost your mask to Elgrande Americano and he
<v Speaker 1>asked Penta, what does that make you? So Dom says
<v Speaker 1>that Chad is keeping his title warm for him. They're
<v Speaker 1>collecting all the gold and they can end this journey
<v Speaker 1>at any time since they're done playing around. And Chad says,
<v Speaker 1>did I hear you correctly? Did you say anytime? No
<v Speaker 1>time like the present time? I guess right right here
<v Speaker 1>in Des Moines. That sounds good to me, and so
<v Speaker 1>Dom accepts the challenge. So we got an impromptu tag
<v Speaker 1>team match to go with our impromptu main event street
<v Speaker 1>fight later on in the show. It was Chad, Gable
<v Speaker 1>and Penta against Dom and JD Boy. It's a good thing.
<v Speaker 1>Gable came out in his gear. It all worked out well,
<v Speaker 1>I guess. So they joined the match in progress after
<v Speaker 1>a commercial, McDonogh got an ear fall from Gable right
<v Speaker 1>after a standing moon salt. They fought up to the
<v Speaker 1>top row of Gable headbutted McDonough off, and then came
<v Speaker 1>off with a diving headbutt and the two of them
<v Speaker 1>tagged out. Penta dropped Dom with a Penta driver. McDonough, though,
<v Speaker 1>broke up the pen attempt. There was a moon salt
<v Speaker 1>by Gable to Dom, but he got his boot up. Gable,
<v Speaker 1>though grabbed the leg and he put him in the
<v Speaker 1>ankle lock, which got broken up by McDonough. Penta sent
<v Speaker 1>McDonough to the floor and then he hit him with
<v Speaker 1>a destroyer. On the floor, Mysterio grabbed the ring bell hammer.
<v Speaker 1>He slipped it into his boot and then he went
<v Speaker 1>for a six y one nine. Gable the blocked the attempt.
<v Speaker 1>He pulled the hammer out of Dom's boot, and while
<v Speaker 1>the referee was tending to the hammer, pent Up blasted
<v Speaker 1>Dom with the Intercontinental title. Gable then hit the Chaos
<v Speaker 1>Theory rolling German to pin Dom and secure the win.
<v Speaker 1>It has not been a very good twenty four hours
<v Speaker 1>to be the Triple A Mega Champion. First he loses
<v Speaker 1>to Dan Hausen and a bunch of mini Housens, and
<v Speaker 1>now he loses here in this match. I'm sure somewhere
<v Speaker 1>the Undertaker is sternly shaking his head in disapproval over this.
<v Speaker 1>We're heading into Triplemania. We're heading into some big shows
<v Speaker 1>here and they keep jobbing out the Triple A Mega Champion.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that they all look good here in this match.
<v Speaker 1>This is a good match, and they gave them some time.
<v Speaker 1>I thought mcdonogough looked the best out of all of them.
<v Speaker 1>He's been making the most of the time that they
<v Speaker 1>have given him. You know, I hear Jim Ross in
<v Speaker 1>the pass the Salai, you got to maximize your minutes. Well,
<v Speaker 1>every time mcdunn has been out there recently, he's maximizing
<v Speaker 1>his minutes. Even a few weeks ago when he got
<v Speaker 1>killed by Oba Femei, like the bumps that he was
<v Speaker 1>taking were crazy. You know, they give him the opportunity
<v Speaker 1>to go out there, and you know, if he's wrestling
<v Speaker 1>the little Mini Housens or if he's wrestling Oba, whoever
<v Speaker 1>it may be, and he makes the most you know
<v Speaker 1>what they give him, and so they keep giving him
<v Speaker 1>TV time. Now we go to the back. Paul Hayman
<v Speaker 1>was still randomly standing there. This is what I want
<v Speaker 1>to know. I want to know why Hayman was standing
<v Speaker 1>there for the entire show. Why was he standing in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of just the backstage area watching the show
<v Speaker 1>on a monitor? He could at least take a seat
<v Speaker 1>at the gorilla position. He's standing there watching this, and
<v Speaker 1>all of a sudden, bron Breaker walks up to him. Now,
<v Speaker 1>Hayman left the vision behind weeks ago, so the first
<v Speaker 1>interaction that we're seeing here between these in some time.
<v Speaker 1>And Breaker walks up to him, and you know, he said, Opa, Femi,
<v Speaker 1>did you see what happened? He goes, Obafemi got in
<v Speaker 1>his way and he's going to do something about it.
<v Speaker 1>But he's talking very low, like he's a powder keg
<v Speaker 1>waiting to explode, because I'm going to do something about it.
<v Speaker 1>And Haymon said, you should. Breaker asked him, where's Obafemi?
<v Speaker 1>And Haymon said, well, how should I know? And bron
<v Speaker 1>sarcastically said no, I'm sorry. I thought Oba was your
<v Speaker 1>new best friend. And while all of this was going on,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, in the background, we could see Adam
<v Speaker 1>Pierce having a conversation with Lyra Valkyria. Just FYI, so
<v Speaker 1>they're really This is what made me think, like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>we're not we're not holding off on this, like we're
<v Speaker 1>we're going into this pretty soon here. This multiple secon
<v Speaker 1>now and bron Breaker made it very clear I'm going
<v Speaker 1>after Oba Femi, so we're gonna get this match soon.
<v Speaker 1>I'm stoked to see it. But Oba, my guess is
<v Speaker 1>that as I look ahead again, Oba and Roman is
<v Speaker 1>the likely destination. It's why anybody who even thinks La
<v Speaker 1>Knight has a shot at winning the World Heavyweight Championship,
<v Speaker 1>you're setting yourself up for disappointment because if the plan
<v Speaker 1>is to do Roman in Oba whenever it may be, right,
<v Speaker 1>money in the bank or WrestleMania, whenever it may be,
<v Speaker 1>the idea has to be nobody beats Roman. Now that
<v Speaker 1>we got past SummerSlam and he's still the champion, Nobody
<v Speaker 1>gets past Roman until Roman gets Oba. We're gonna save
<v Speaker 1>that big win over Roman, reigns and give it to Oba.
<v Speaker 1>If you have La Knight go in there and beat Roman,
<v Speaker 1>just to have Roman win it back two months later,
<v Speaker 1>what does that accomplish, Right, You've now killed it because
<v Speaker 1>if Oba goes on to beat Roman, well Roman got
<v Speaker 1>beat by La Night, do you honestly fucking believe they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna do that? I mean, come on, you can't. You
<v Speaker 1>can't set yourself up for disappointment like that. But in
<v Speaker 1>the meantime, you got to find people for Oba to
<v Speaker 1>work with, and I don't want to just see him
<v Speaker 1>facing a bunch of steps for the next six months.
<v Speaker 1>This this is interesting. And how does Hayman factor into this?
<v Speaker 1>Because Hayman now he ditched the Vision and he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have Brock, which means Hayman has nobody, and you know
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna want to put him with somebody. Could you
<v Speaker 1>transition Hayman into a role as an advocate for Obafemi?
<v Speaker 1>You could. I don't think Oba needs it. Oba can
<v Speaker 1>go out there and cut a good promo on his own.
<v Speaker 1>There's no other real purpose to put Paul Hayman with him.
<v Speaker 1>I would much rather see Paul Hayman back with bron Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>get Breaker away from the Vision and stuff. Have Breaker
<v Speaker 1>and Hayman and who knows Obafemi better than Paul Hayman
<v Speaker 1>right over these last several months and just focus on that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, because I again I could see in the
<v Speaker 1>end Oba ending up with Hayman. I just don't think
<v Speaker 1>it's necessary. I really don't. I don't see how you
<v Speaker 1>know it's needed to really benefit him. But they did
<v Speaker 1>establish on this show that Hayman respects him. He respects Hayman,
<v Speaker 1>so there's at least a mutual respect there if the
<v Speaker 1>two of them wanted to, you know, work together at
<v Speaker 1>some point. The main event of the show Jacob Fatu
<v Speaker 1>against Royce Keys in a street fight. Royce Keys did
<v Speaker 1>not get a televised entrance here for this match. Fa
<v Speaker 1>two sent Keys to the floor then hit him with
<v Speaker 1>a suicide dive. Keys came back and power slammed him
<v Speaker 1>through the barricade into the timekeeper's area. Eventually there were
<v Speaker 1>chairs thrown into the ring. There was a table that
<v Speaker 1>was put into the ring. Keys hit fat two from
<v Speaker 1>the floor with a kendo stick and then joined him
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. They set up a slim gym table
<v Speaker 1>in the corner. Fa Tu ended up with the stick
<v Speaker 1>and he was beating Keys with it. So Fatu set
<v Speaker 1>up for a sup plex onto a pair of chairs
<v Speaker 1>that were set up. Keys reversed it. He supplex FA
<v Speaker 1>two onto them instead. Jacob came back with a DDT
<v Speaker 1>and he tossed some chairs on top of Keys headed
<v Speaker 1>up top. Keys, though threw a chair right at his head,
<v Speaker 1>so Royce went to the middle rope. He did the
<v Speaker 1>spot that he did with Jimmy at SummerSlam the middle
<v Speaker 1>rope power slam down, this time onto a pile of
<v Speaker 1>chairs down below. Keys then put him down with a spinebuster.
<v Speaker 1>Down come the straps, and then he charges it Fa
<v Speaker 1>Tou who popped him up into a samoan drop through
<v Speaker 1>the slim gym table that was propped up in the corner,
<v Speaker 1>and the table broke, so then Fa Tu followed that
<v Speaker 1>with a mighty moon salt and then he got the
<v Speaker 1>tongue in death grip applied, and he kept it locked
<v Speaker 1>on until finally the referee called for the stoppage, so
<v Speaker 1>he finally won one with the tongue in death grip.
<v Speaker 1>He's had this tongue in death grip now since May
<v Speaker 1>Okay when he was feuding with Roman. He had never
<v Speaker 1>won a match with it until tonight. So I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>Hakku would be proud, and I'm sure Hawku will be
<v Speaker 1>on television on Friday. He'll be with his uh, his
<v Speaker 1>adopted sons. He'll be there on SmackDown. So the referee
<v Speaker 1>is motioning for help, several referees run out. Fa Tou
<v Speaker 1>eventually releases the hold, but then he reapplies the hold.
<v Speaker 1>Here comes Adam Pierson I think there were a bunch
<v Speaker 1>of producers with him, Jason Jordan, Shane Helms I think
<v Speaker 1>may have been in there. They get into the ring
<v Speaker 1>and trying to restrain this man Fa tou. Eventually let's
<v Speaker 1>go with the hold, and at this point we noticed
<v Speaker 1>that Royce Keys is bleeding from the mouth and it
<v Speaker 1>was very clearly blood capsule or capsules that he bit
<v Speaker 1>down on. Because nobody's blood glows in the way that
<v Speaker 1>this man's blood was. I mean, it's red, but it
<v Speaker 1>was like glowing unless this man is radioactive and he's
<v Speaker 1>going to be part of the X men. I haven't
<v Speaker 1>seen that before. So this blood is leaking out of
<v Speaker 1>this man's mouth in the corner, I mean, unless he
<v Speaker 1>has some serious medical condition that we're not aware of.
<v Speaker 1>Fatwo is yelling at him. I told you it's family business.
<v Speaker 1>So he hits Keys with two running hip attacks in
<v Speaker 1>the corner. Yes, it was super it was super bright red.
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't like dark red like this background here. It
<v Speaker 1>was like like this microphone. That's what his blood looked
<v Speaker 1>like as it was leaking out of his mouth. So
<v Speaker 1>he hits a couple of running hip attacks. Fatwo grabs
<v Speaker 1>it chair he wraps it around Royce's head. He's going
<v Speaker 1>to do a running hip attack into the chair against
<v Speaker 1>this man's head. This is the point where Pearson and
<v Speaker 1>all of them, you know, got into the ring and
<v Speaker 1>were trying to stop him from doing something that he
<v Speaker 1>was going to regret. And it looked like they were
<v Speaker 1>talking him off the ledge and he wasn't. He wasn't
<v Speaker 1>going to do anything. And then he decides, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>I lied, and then he hit the running hip attack
<v Speaker 1>anyway in the corner. So then Roman reigns theme hits i'body.
<v Speaker 1>Oh well, he hasn't left the building. He's still here.
<v Speaker 1>So Roman comes out on stage and he nods in
<v Speaker 1>approval at all of the carnage at like a job
<v Speaker 1>well done for FA two. And the show appeared to
<v Speaker 1>be over. I said, okay, well that's that's the end
<v Speaker 1>of the show. But we're not done yet. We're not
<v Speaker 1>done yet, because they cut to the back. Roman has
<v Speaker 1>now just walked into Gorilla and he looks off screen
<v Speaker 1>and we can't see right away who he's looking at,
<v Speaker 1>but the camera pans over and we see Raymistereo totally random.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, what the fuck is he doing here? So
<v Speaker 1>Raymisterio is there and he asked Roman if he knew
<v Speaker 1>that he was the general manager of Triple A, and
<v Speaker 1>Roman said I do now, and Ray said I want
<v Speaker 1>to run something by you. And the two of them
<v Speaker 1>walk off, and I'm like, what the fuck? And that's
<v Speaker 1>how they went off the air. I like it. I
<v Speaker 1>like it. I like how they stuck that in there
<v Speaker 1>at the very end. It's different. It gets people talking.
<v Speaker 1>And as I said, at the beginning, my first thought,
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't even thinking of Triple Mania. I know Triple
<v Speaker 1>MANI is their their big event. They got two nights
<v Speaker 1>this year. I don't think they're looking at Triple Mania.
<v Speaker 1>I think they're looking at World's Collide, World's Collide. I
<v Speaker 1>think Triple Mania is September eleventh in Vegas at the
<v Speaker 1>MGM Grand and then September thirteenth of Mexico City and
<v Speaker 1>September twenty six, so two weeks later is World's Collide,
<v Speaker 1>which they scheduled the very same night in Damn, near
<v Speaker 1>the very same city. I think the AAW show is
<v Speaker 1>in Hoffman Estates, which is just outside of Chicago. But
<v Speaker 1>they're basically both in Chicago, and they're running opposite each
<v Speaker 1>other and I knew, I like as soon as they
<v Speaker 1>announced it, and it's got the WWE branding on and
<v Speaker 1>I said, cmpunk, cmpunk is going to wrestle on that show.
<v Speaker 1>I still believe that that cmpunk will wrestle on that show.
<v Speaker 1>Roman being on the show is not something I had
<v Speaker 1>really thought about, but I don't think it necessarily needs
<v Speaker 1>to be Roman. Now, if you wanted Roman to come
<v Speaker 1>in and just have like a one off with El
<v Speaker 1>Grande Americano. Honestly, if you're going to do a match
<v Speaker 1>like that, you really should do that in Mexico, because
<v Speaker 1>he's super over in Mexico and to see Roman in
<v Speaker 1>that atmosphere against El Grande like south of the Border,
<v Speaker 1>that could be a lot of fun. This is in Chicago. Again,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying that that's a match that they're gonna do,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't even know that Roman has to wrestle
<v Speaker 1>on that show. It could be as simple as, hey,
<v Speaker 1>you know, we have this big show coming up, we
<v Speaker 1>want to have some bloodline representation on it, and then Roman,
<v Speaker 1>you know, sends his cousins and that's how we get
<v Speaker 1>the Usos and the Lucha Bros, the Luca brothers were
<v Speaker 1>supposed to team up a while back, and I think
<v Speaker 1>who was it they got? It was a penta Phoenix.
<v Speaker 1>I think Phoenix got hurt. Somebody got hurt. And so
<v Speaker 1>the the the attraction of the two of them teaming
<v Speaker 1>up for the first time, and to do so against
<v Speaker 1>the USOS would be a big attraction for that show.
<v Speaker 1>You don't even it doesn't even have to involve Roman
<v Speaker 1>like that'll sell tickets. So now we're left to wait
<v Speaker 1>and speculate and to see what the conversation is going
<v Speaker 1>to be about. But they're gonna want to sell tickets,
<v Speaker 1>and they're gonna want to steal their thunder. That weekend
<v Speaker 1>all about deeling their thunder. It's all about stealing the
<v Speaker 1>headlines and selling tickets, obviously, but they want to own
<v Speaker 1>that weekend and they're going to do anything in their
<v Speaker 1>power to make sure that the conversation is not on
<v Speaker 1>all out, that the conversation is on World's collide, and
<v Speaker 1>this is one way of doing that. If you're WWE,
<v Speaker 1>it's very smart, right, It's very smart. That was raw.
<v Speaker 1>There was a lot going on, as you can tell.
<v Speaker 1>And that's the thing I love the most about this show.
<v Speaker 1>We got some good wrestling, but we had Roman, we
<v Speaker 1>had Oba, we have some directions on where they're going
<v Speaker 1>the Oba and bron Breaker stuff. I'm here for it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm ready for it. I think that's great. Let's do it.
<v Speaker 1>Chad Gables a new IC champion, right, so we'll see
<v Speaker 1>what his next direction is going to be. Live Morgan
<v Speaker 1>finally has not won, but two challengers for the Women's
<v Speaker 1>World Championship. Who gets the first shot? I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Becky and Stephanie may have to fight for it unless
<v Speaker 1>they do a triple threat. But now Live Morgan has
<v Speaker 1>a direction coming out of SummerSlam and the Obafemi and
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman stuff. Is that going to lead anywhere? I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. We'll see. So there was a lot to
<v Speaker 1>really digest here on this show. Didn't drag or anything
<v Speaker 1>like that. I like the fact they put the spotlight
<v Speaker 1>on Jacob, you know, Jacob and Keys in the main event.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that was good. The Javon Evans match, you
<v Speaker 1>know with Ethan Page, probably the best match on the show.
<v Speaker 1>That was the match of the show. Big cast coming back.
<v Speaker 1>Where does he fit into things? If he's going to
<v Speaker 1>be a heel, what's his role going to be. He said, Hey, Javon,
<v Speaker 1>nothing personal. I got other people. I got a body
<v Speaker 1>on this show. Maybe he bodies a heel next time.
<v Speaker 1>This week it was Javon. Maybe next week it's a heel.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. But it's a new face on the show.
<v Speaker 1>Let's see where he goes. It's something different, right, we
<v Speaker 1>haven't seen them in a long time on this show.
<v Speaker 1>This was one of the best raw episodes they have
<v Speaker 1>done all year. It was focused, it felt inspired, It
<v Speaker 1>felt like there was actually life to this show, and
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't just the same all same ole that we
<v Speaker 1>get every single fucking week. You know. I mean, you're
<v Speaker 1>coming out of Summer Slim. You don't have to worry
<v Speaker 1>about like, oh, it's the go home show. We got
<v Speaker 1>to promote the matches on Summer Slam. Summer Slam's over, baby,
<v Speaker 1>and you don't have another pl e for like two
<v Speaker 1>fucking months. So now is the time to build these
<v Speaker 1>new stories and put people in positions where they can succeed.
<v Speaker 1>Do something with the roster that you have, and don't
<v Speaker 1>just let them sit and ferment and die, right, actually
<v Speaker 1>use the people that you have, put them in positions
<v Speaker 1>to succeed and hopefully it'll make for good television. Anything
<v Speaker 1>is better than what they've been doing lately, and that's
<v Speaker 1>just Raw. I haven't even gotten into SmackDown yet. This
<v Speaker 1>was great. I thought this was a great episode of
<v Speaker 1>Raw tonight, very very good stuff. I hope I get
<v Speaker 1>to say that more often in the weeks to come.
<v Speaker 1>Let's get to your super chats here, Roman reigns in
<v Speaker 1>La Knights, maybe getting that soon. Or we're closing in
<v Speaker 1>on six hundred likes, by the way, so we have
<v Speaker 1>one round coming our way. Be the booker. Let's see
<v Speaker 1>where we go with the bonus goal death Sithe. We'll
<v Speaker 1>start with you, my friend. I hope you're having a
<v Speaker 1>good night, says I watched Team Triple h against Team Orton,
<v Speaker 1>where whichever team won would each be in charge of
<v Speaker 1>Raw for the next four weeks, and I wish they
<v Speaker 1>would do team Raw versus Teams SmackDown for war games
<v Speaker 1>with that stipulation. So you want to go back to
<v Speaker 1>the versus SmackDown stuff. Isn't that what Crown Jewel is for?
<v Speaker 1>How are you gonna do Raw versus SmackDown when there
<v Speaker 1>really is no split? It doesn't work. You had Royce
<v Speaker 1>Keys in the main event of Raw tonight. Dude, it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't work. It doesn't work. Last night, I pitched the
<v Speaker 1>idea of the money in the bank scenario where Sammy
<v Speaker 1>wins the briefcase, Kevin Owens wins the title from Punk
<v Speaker 1>and Sammy immediately cashes in on Ko to win the belt.
<v Speaker 1>Now Punk and Ko are both owed a rematch. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>what would be kind of poetic about that is it
<v Speaker 1>would harken back to when Owens debuted in NXT and
<v Speaker 1>the very night that Sammy's a won the NXT Championship,
<v Speaker 1>he got assaulted by Kevin Owens and then Owens beat
<v Speaker 1>him for the belt like two months later. I mean again,
<v Speaker 1>it's an idea that I could potentially see happening, but
<v Speaker 1>I'd rather Kevin Owens is going to win the belt,
<v Speaker 1>he actually gets a chance to run with it, and
<v Speaker 1>you don't take it from him. The same night, said
<v Speaker 1>later on, at the start of the new year, you
<v Speaker 1>add Cody and Randy back into the mix, and then
<v Speaker 1>the chamber. Yeah, I mean again, I could see that,
<v Speaker 1>I could see it. But if you're gonna put the
<v Speaker 1>belt on Kevin Owens, let him run with it. Don't
<v Speaker 1>take it away from him. I'm not a fan of
<v Speaker 1>that aspect. TB just seen Obsession for the first time.
<v Speaker 1>I may be in the minority, but I didn't enjoy
<v Speaker 1>it as much. Indian Averready's acting was on point, though
<v Speaker 1>it looks like there was more, but that's all I see.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Yeah, I think you are in the minority.
<v Speaker 1>But that's perfectly fine. Are you someone who is typically
<v Speaker 1>into horror movies or I feel like if you're a
<v Speaker 1>horror fan, maybe you would appreciate it more. But if
<v Speaker 1>you didn't like it, that's fine. It's my favorite movie
<v Speaker 1>the year by far, by far. It's so much fun
<v Speaker 1>with that movie. I've seen it a few times since.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's great. And She's I mean, she's a revelation. Cayden,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the dollar ninety nine death site says,
<v Speaker 1>I don't expect La Knight to beat Roman Reigns, but
<v Speaker 1>sometimes losing can get you more over than winning, and
<v Speaker 1>the best example is Austin losing to Brett Hart or wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Mini at thirteen. The same could happen to La. The
<v Speaker 1>same will not happen to La. You are correct, though,
<v Speaker 1>sometimes losing can can get you more over in this scenario,
<v Speaker 1>That's not what's gonna happen. He's gonna wrestle Roman, he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna get beat, and that's and then it's on to
<v Speaker 1>the next I feel like these days they don't do
<v Speaker 1>moments like that, like the one you just cited. They
<v Speaker 1>don't do that as well as they used to do it.
<v Speaker 1>So that's not gonna happen here. Your overall point, though,
<v Speaker 1>is accurate, though there are examples in history of that
<v Speaker 1>happening where somebody gets more over by losing the sheltered kid.
<v Speaker 1>What wrestler do you hate that everyone else loves. I
<v Speaker 1>don't hate anybody right now, unless you're talking all time.
<v Speaker 1>You want to expand it out to all time, all right,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure I could find a few people. Hate is
<v Speaker 1>a strong word, you know. I will say there are
<v Speaker 1>wrestlers who I mean, over the years, things have come
<v Speaker 1>out about them like old like old school wrestlers are
<v Speaker 1>turned out to be, you know, pedophiles and terrible people.
<v Speaker 1>I hate. I hate those people. I hate buck zum Ob. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I think it's good to hate people like that. Hates
<v Speaker 1>a strong word, though. I hate the booking of a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people to where I don't want to see
<v Speaker 1>them on my TV anymore. Death Side says, I hope
<v Speaker 1>we get a program between MJF and Swerve Strickland and
<v Speaker 1>they should both be heels because that's when they are
<v Speaker 1>at their best. And before anyone says heel against heel
<v Speaker 1>to that, I say, Shield and Wyatts, well Shield. I
<v Speaker 1>think by that point, though, the Shield was already on
<v Speaker 1>their way to being babyfaces. Honestly, I mean they kind
<v Speaker 1>of made it official after WrestleMania that year. That was
<v Speaker 1>like a month or two later. But yeah, I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>heal versus heel could work, and then the fans are
<v Speaker 1>going to gravitate towards whoever they want to cheer for.
<v Speaker 1>I would imagine in a match like that they would
<v Speaker 1>probably gravitate more towards Sworth. He also says Austin Theory
<v Speaker 1>beat John Cena at WrestleMania at thirty nine and Dominic
<v Speaker 1>Mysterio beat John Cena at Survivor Series, as The Rock
<v Speaker 1>would say to them, look at you now. Yeah, talk
<v Speaker 1>about squandering the rub GMB with a four ninety nine.
<v Speaker 1>Not anytime soon, but I could see Soul being a
<v Speaker 1>good heel for promos against Zaria. We're condescending and arrogant.
<v Speaker 1>I disagree with her being a face forever. I saw
<v Speaker 1>a little bit of her work in NXT when she
<v Speaker 1>went heel. Yeah, I got some of that same arrogant vibe.
<v Speaker 1>The soul Snatcher is not a heel finished though, she
<v Speaker 1>would have to ditch the soul snatcher because that's a
<v Speaker 1>total baby face move. It doesn't work for a heel.
<v Speaker 1>But then again, maybe in wrestling today that's not important.
<v Speaker 1>Very few people in wrestling today know how to be
<v Speaker 1>a true heel. Super Pony says Raw was damn good tonight.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why we can't get this every week.
<v Speaker 1>It's not that hard. The mid card on this show
<v Speaker 1>is very strong. Well yeah, I mean you could see
<v Speaker 1>where they're at least making some attempts to build the
<v Speaker 1>mid card, especially with like Javon and Ethan. Now they
<v Speaker 1>have big casts, so I mean the pieces are there. Also,
<v Speaker 1>let's get Drew on Raw when he comes back to
<v Speaker 1>balance things out. SmackDown is stacked at the top. Raw
<v Speaker 1>needs more top guys. Yeah, Dethronic seventy eight will Roman
<v Speaker 1>be taking on all of his former opponents alone until
<v Speaker 1>he faces Oba at WrestleMania. I hope. So I mean
<v Speaker 1>to just go back to having all of his Bloodline
<v Speaker 1>buddies helping him win matches is the same thing that
<v Speaker 1>they did in the first Bloodline run. He would be lame,
<v Speaker 1>lazy and stupid. You know, he wants to prove that
<v Speaker 1>he's the top guy. Let him do it on his own.
<v Speaker 1>Makes sense to me. Shouldn't need interference in all of
<v Speaker 1>his matches. I don't even know what he's supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be anymore. You mean to me, he's a heel. He's
<v Speaker 1>out there getting cheered like a babyface. Nick Rosso, thank
<v Speaker 1>you for the twenty Nick big cast looks great, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad he's going solo because no one would take
<v Speaker 1>him seriously with Enzo dancing around and corny catchphrases. But
<v Speaker 1>I never thought Cass was a great promo. So maybe
<v Speaker 1>Hayman could be his mouthpiece. I mean, he got some
<v Speaker 1>promo time tonight. He wasn't bad. Hayman with Cass could
<v Speaker 1>be interesting. That could work. Actually, that probably makes more
<v Speaker 1>sense than Hayman and OBA. Honestly, OBA don't need Hayman,
<v Speaker 1>Larry or Barry Barry. I called him Larry. That's his
<v Speaker 1>alter ego. Barry mc says, Lyra has been putting so
<v Speaker 1>much work into her character, but she's given so little
<v Speaker 1>TV time. Most of the time she's on during the
<v Speaker 1>raw ads or the main events show. How can the
<v Speaker 1>talent get over like this? They can't. They can't. Just
<v Speaker 1>because they had one great show doesn't mean that there
<v Speaker 1>aren't still problems. Triple H can talk all he wants
<v Speaker 1>to about. Well, you want to get over, you know,
<v Speaker 1>go ahead and get over. Yeah, Well that's kind of
<v Speaker 1>hard to do though, if you're not getting TV time.
<v Speaker 1>It's especially egregious with Lyra because she just turned heel
<v Speaker 1>not that long ago, you know, it's like a fresh
<v Speaker 1>heel turn. That's when you need to feature that person
<v Speaker 1>on the television show and whether they cut promos or
<v Speaker 1>you do vignettes for them, kind of flesh out the character,
<v Speaker 1>let people know, like what the direction is supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be for her. It's hard to do when you're relegated
<v Speaker 1>to the commercial breaks. You can only do so much.
<v Speaker 1>What can the talent do? You can go on social media,
<v Speaker 1>you could put together your own promos and Zach Ryder
<v Speaker 1>that shit. You can, you know, make the most of
<v Speaker 1>what little time you're given, sure, but at the end
<v Speaker 1>of the day, you need to be on the actual show.
<v Speaker 1>It's like the old analogy if a tree falls in
<v Speaker 1>the forest and nobody is around, you know, like same
<v Speaker 1>thing here. Abistle Zone says, I've really come to hate
<v Speaker 1>how these days it often feels like the Wrestlemaniam main
<v Speaker 1>event is already set in stone, nine months in advance.
<v Speaker 1>It makes it hard to get excited for any world
<v Speaker 1>title defenses along the way. Well, traditionally it was always
<v Speaker 1>like that. I'm talking like going back to the eighties
<v Speaker 1>and nineties, it was kind of always like that. Not
<v Speaker 1>that you're wrong if you know, if you know what
<v Speaker 1>the main event is going to be sure, it makes
<v Speaker 1>it a little less exciting if you can't buy into
<v Speaker 1>the fact that person might lose the championship before then.
<v Speaker 1>But that's really nothing new when it comes to WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>The Hoofman says, well, Tony Khan, let this slide or
<v Speaker 1>is he going to fire back? Well, Tony's already said
<v Speaker 1>he's going to turn the other cheek. That's his new philosophy.
<v Speaker 1>He's a devout man now and he's going to turn
<v Speaker 1>the other cheek. Well, I mean Realistically, what's he gonna do,
<v Speaker 1>What's he gonna do, Who's he going to bring in?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he's gonna have some free agents that are
<v Speaker 1>available to him. I'm already expecting people like New Day
<v Speaker 1>and Shamus to show up there. But realistically, what could
<v Speaker 1>he do? Plan the best possible card that you can
<v Speaker 1>for all out, put together the best matches you possibly can,
<v Speaker 1>and you know the sickos will come. Schiff and Shive,
<v Speaker 1>says Captain Obvious. But props to Ethan Page. He's got
<v Speaker 1>the chops watching old vignettes of the million dollar men
<v Speaker 1>and he gives off a similar vibe a little I guess,
<v Speaker 1>maybe a little bit. I hadn't thought about a million
<v Speaker 1>dollar man when I was thinking of Ethan Page, but
<v Speaker 1>maybe a little bit. Alexanders's Roxanne still hasn't won a
<v Speaker 1>singles match on TV since December of twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 1>The Prodigy name should be revoked until further notice. Super Ponium,
<v Speaker 1>sorry that Punk against Ko is just going to be
<v Speaker 1>a one off on a SmackDown and Punk beats him
<v Speaker 1>and that'll be the end of it. Hope they hold
<v Speaker 1>off until money in the bank. I'm sure Punk is
<v Speaker 1>not just gonna beat him and that's going to be
<v Speaker 1>the end of it. I don't think it's going to
<v Speaker 1>be quite that simple. That would be very, very stupid.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, there's gold up in them there, hills, and
<v Speaker 1>to do a one off and then just move on
<v Speaker 1>to me would be incredibly dumb. Armchair critic better overall package,
<v Speaker 1>and why Flair or Savage Savage just a matter of
<v Speaker 1>personal preference. He was the total package when it came
<v Speaker 1>to pro wrestling, right, the gaudy outfits, the promos, the
<v Speaker 1>d ring personality. You're just so unique, even the voice.
<v Speaker 1>You know. Put it this way, Flair is someone where
<v Speaker 1>and we've seen it over the years. People dress up
<v Speaker 1>like Flair. Anybody can kind of dress up like Flair,
<v Speaker 1>pretend to be Flair. Not that people don't dress up
<v Speaker 1>like macho man. They still. I mean, any Halloween you'll
<v Speaker 1>find at least one person dressed up as macho man.
<v Speaker 1>But there really is only one macho man, right. You
<v Speaker 1>could have other people who can play Rick Flair. You
<v Speaker 1>can't find anybody who can really play macho man. I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>there's one macho man, one of a kind, Void Mayweather.
<v Speaker 1>And then we'll get to the Yaffman. I liked her
<v Speaker 1>heel run and it's something that she wanted to do
<v Speaker 1>for a while. But this women's division needed a baby
<v Speaker 1>face Becky again. Yeah, I don't mind it. I mean
<v Speaker 1>she goes back and forth basically as needed. We had
<v Speaker 1>heel Becky for a while. Now we're back to baby
<v Speaker 1>face Becky. It feels like we're back to baby face Becky.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, I mean that's fine with me. Look, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just happy, dude, that we have some challengers for Live Morgan.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to look a gift horse in the
<v Speaker 1>mouth on this. At least she's got some competition. That's
<v Speaker 1>the most important thing we have. The Uffman Soul Live
<v Speaker 1>told Becky her time is up and lives time is now.
<v Speaker 1>She did, she did, Leo. I wish I could be
<v Speaker 1>as positive as Charlotte Flair, who seems to think Keana
<v Speaker 1>James will be a major player in the main event
<v Speaker 1>scene in the future. She's trying to be optimistic. Either
<v Speaker 1>that or she doesn't actually watch the television show that
<v Speaker 1>she's on. Schiff and Shive enjoyed the Cares story on Unreal.
<v Speaker 1>It made me a fan. It's real to her. Damn
<v Speaker 1>it it is she worked hard to get to that spot, says,
<v Speaker 1>I would like to believe that, but Keana is her
<v Speaker 1>booking is so shit and unacceptable. Well, Julius says, take
<v Speaker 1>a number, Aaron says. Rosters are reloaded, and Drew, Bianca, Naomi,
<v Speaker 1>and Rhea are still out, and they're still Blake, Tatum
<v Speaker 1>and Lola being called up. It's almost becoming crowded. It's
<v Speaker 1>a good problem to have. You can call up everybody
<v Speaker 1>in the world. You could bring back everybody in the world.
<v Speaker 1>You could have the most loaded, stacked roster in the
<v Speaker 1>history of the wrestling business. It don't mean shit. If
<v Speaker 1>you're not using those people properly, if they're not being utilized,
<v Speaker 1>if they're not being booked properly, if the writing sucks,
<v Speaker 1>if they're putting the wrong matches together, that don't interest people.
<v Speaker 1>None of it matters. So all of a sudden, there
<v Speaker 1>seems to be depth in areas outside of the tag
<v Speaker 1>team divisions, depth in areas that maybe didn't have as
<v Speaker 1>much a depth a couple of months ago. That's great, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>what are you going to do with it? How are
<v Speaker 1>you going to use it? We have to wait and
<v Speaker 1>see It's too early to say whether or not this
<v Speaker 1>ends up being a good thing or a bad thing.
<v Speaker 1>It's good to have a lot of different faces, but
<v Speaker 1>you got to figure out where do they all go,
<v Speaker 1>how do we use them? That's what we have to
<v Speaker 1>hope they have a plan for Black Raven. Chris, thank
<v Speaker 1>you again, my friend for that fifty dollars gunhar bomb.
<v Speaker 1>You're awesome. Nick Grossol says maybe EO could chase Raquel
<v Speaker 1>for the women's IC title and really make it a
<v Speaker 1>workhorse title. Also, get Lyra back in the mix, because
<v Speaker 1>I don't know where she is. She was in the
<v Speaker 1>background brother talking to Adam Pierce. Yeah, I'm fine with
<v Speaker 1>EO being in the IC title scene. You could have EO, Raquel, Rock, Sane, Soul, Lyra,
<v Speaker 1>and then at the top you have Live Becky and Stephanie.
<v Speaker 1>I like it death Sife Also, I agree with you.
<v Speaker 1>I hate when they keep pushing things off that by
<v Speaker 1>the time we finally get it, it's either too late
<v Speaker 1>or nobody gives a shit. Yeah, they do it all
<v Speaker 1>the time. I've said it a lot in the past.
<v Speaker 1>You know Triple H and his style of booking, generally speaking,
<v Speaker 1>he plays it very very safe. He's very conservative in
<v Speaker 1>terms of the booking too much so. Saint James bron
<v Speaker 1>versus Oba has us hyped exactly what we wanted. As
<v Speaker 1>Batista said, give me what I want. Chad did say
<v Speaker 1>Penta was potentially the greatest loutcha door and the future
<v Speaker 1>is bright for him for sure. Justin g when the
<v Speaker 1>judgment day finally break up? Eh, silly boy, silly boy,
<v Speaker 1>I ain't ever breaking out. Can Jad mcdonnegh join the
<v Speaker 1>blood line in a Sammy's Ain role. It's a fatal
<v Speaker 1>mistake to headbutt him. He would probably fit in well
<v Speaker 1>with them for that reason. You know, you can hit
<v Speaker 1>him in the head and it has no impact. Aaron says,
<v Speaker 1>Solo did Raw feel like the starts of another new era? Actually,
<v Speaker 1>Tonight's raw did kind of feel like the start of
<v Speaker 1>a new era now that you mention it. In many ways,
<v Speaker 1>it did. And super Pony says, as much as I
<v Speaker 1>want Owens to win the belt, you know if he does,
<v Speaker 1>they're just going to give him a run like Drew
<v Speaker 1>or Sammy, And at that point, why even bother No.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if you do a three or four month run,
<v Speaker 1>there's nothing wrong with that. What's wrong with that? Why
<v Speaker 1>does everybody have to be champion for six months or
<v Speaker 1>for a year? Drew had the Bell for two months,
<v Speaker 1>which wasn't long enough, but I never expected him to
<v Speaker 1>have the Bell for very long, and I was advocating
<v Speaker 1>to change the title at the beginning of the year,
<v Speaker 1>and they did. They had that Last man Standing match
<v Speaker 1>or was it last man Standing? No, it was three
<v Speaker 1>Stages of Hell. They had that Three Stages of Hell.
<v Speaker 1>Ma actually won the championship and I had no expectations
<v Speaker 1>of him walking into WrestleMania as the champion and he didn't.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah, I mean it sucked, but it's like, okay, well,
<v Speaker 1>at least they shook things up for a little bit,
<v Speaker 1>because they could have just kept the belt on Cody
<v Speaker 1>the entire time. With Owens if he was to win
<v Speaker 1>the belt, I wouldn't really expect him to have it
<v Speaker 1>for too long. But why would three or four months
<v Speaker 1>be a waste? Why would that be a bad thing?
<v Speaker 1>Why wouldn't you do it? You know how many people
<v Speaker 1>are like beside themselves that Owens has been there for
<v Speaker 1>ten years on the main roster eleven years and has
<v Speaker 1>never had like a WWE title run or that it's
<v Speaker 1>been ten years since he was Universal Champion. They would
<v Speaker 1>love to see him have it, probably for a day.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying, give him a few months. Then if
<v Speaker 1>you want to take it off them, you could take
<v Speaker 1>it off Patience, patience, young grasshopper. We will see I
<v Speaker 1>just want I want to see what these promos look
<v Speaker 1>like with him in Punk. Hopefully they're better than what
<v Speaker 1>we just got from Punk and Cody. All Right, so
<v Speaker 1>the Wheel said the goal was four hundred and sixty
<v Speaker 1>five likes. We are currently sitting at six hundred and forty.
<v Speaker 1>Betty Good, Betty Good, I do like that. We get
<v Speaker 1>one round here we go be the booker time, ladies
<v Speaker 1>and gentlemen. It is now time to be the booker
<v Speaker 1>WWE Champion Kevin Owens. This feels like we're as close
<v Speaker 1>now as we've ever been to that very possibility coming true.
<v Speaker 1>Because when Roman had the belt and he was wrestling
<v Speaker 1>Roman all those times, it never felt like he had
<v Speaker 1>a prayer. We're kicking things off here with the Briscoes,
<v Speaker 1>thirteen time Ring of Honor Tag Team champions and former
<v Speaker 1>House of Glory Tag Team Champions, The Briscoes. Now this
<v Speaker 1>is tag team wrestling. The Briscoes against the Brainbusters, the
<v Speaker 1>Horsemen call them what you will, aren't Anderson and Tully
<v Speaker 1>Blanchard Blanchard Anderson and the Briscoes. When I say that,
<v Speaker 1>that sounds like something out of the territories in the seventies.
<v Speaker 1>See that right, there is tag team wrestling to a
<v Speaker 1>t that that is tag team wrestling. We have Alexa
<v Speaker 1>Bliss is bliss Fan with us. Please tell me bliss
<v Speaker 1>Fan is in the chat. Bliss Van's gonna be very
<v Speaker 1>happy that we brought Alexa Bliss back before wwe did. Gee,
<v Speaker 1>I wonder, Bliss Van. Who's gonna win this match? Let's see.
<v Speaker 1>It all depends on who her opponent is. I'm even
<v Speaker 1>gonna give her a drummer. We'll make him happy. I
<v Speaker 1>know he was here earlier. Don't tell me he ducked out.
<v Speaker 1>Alexa Bliss is gonna go one on one with the
<v Speaker 1>murder clown Conna. Oh, I'm sorry, Bliss Fan, but I
<v Speaker 1>know who's going over in this match, and it ain't
<v Speaker 1>Alexa Bliss Fan. I'm gonna have to I'm gonna have
<v Speaker 1>to ask you to turn away, my friend. It ain't
<v Speaker 1>gonna be pretty. It's not going to be pretty. He's
<v Speaker 1>not gonna be happy about that. Bless is dead. The
<v Speaker 1>goddess is gonna die alright, and oh my god, look
<v Speaker 1>who it is? Holy shit, ladies and gentlemen, Look who
<v Speaker 1>just reappeared? What has happened to Ilya dragonov? We brought
<v Speaker 1>him back before wwe did. He is in the main event.
<v Speaker 1>See this, I mean, Kevin Owens was big yesterday, but
<v Speaker 1>this right here, this this may be the return of
<v Speaker 1>the month. The Mad Dragon, the Mad Dragon taking his
<v Speaker 1>rightful spot. He's alive and he's wrestling Austin Theory. I
<v Speaker 1>thought we were guaranteed a sweep. I really did. I
<v Speaker 1>was so optimistic about it. And then Theory popped up
<v Speaker 1>on my screen. And you know what the sad part is.
<v Speaker 1>You know how this match is going to end. It's
<v Speaker 1>going to end with Maxine Dupre giving dragon Of a
<v Speaker 1>low blow and Theory getting the win. And unfortunately that
<v Speaker 1>is the soul round of be the booker that we
<v Speaker 1>are getting tonight. So we have to end on that
<v Speaker 1>sour note. I was so optimistic too when I saw
<v Speaker 1>Elia Dragonof pop up. I said, this is gonna be
<v Speaker 1>impossible to get anything by a bell and then we
<v Speaker 1>end up with a buzz man armchair critic. Do you
<v Speaker 1>think the Rock will be there for Saudi Mania. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna say no, I'm done guessing on the Rock. I
<v Speaker 1>don't give a shit. That's my real answer. I don't care.
<v Speaker 1>Let's focus on the talent that we have. And as
<v Speaker 1>brack Lesner said, I am the past, he is the future.
<v Speaker 1>Let's focus on the future. So after a very busy weekend,
<v Speaker 1>Raw is in the books, which paves the way now
<v Speaker 1>for Dynamite, which is going to be from Marina, Mexico
<v Speaker 1>on Wednesday. It's actually a pretty stack lineup they have,
<v Speaker 1>so I will be here for the Grand Slam review
<v Speaker 1>and before we get there, tomorrow is going to be
<v Speaker 1>a brand new episode of The Uncrowned Wrestling Show, so
<v Speaker 1>keep your eyes peeled for that. As soon as the
<v Speaker 1>episode is uploaded wherever you get your podcast from you'll
<v Speaker 1>be able to listen. Do go ahead and support. And
<v Speaker 1>then also Tuesday Night, of course you have a brain
<v Speaker 1>new Live Tuesday Night Titans over on Jdach channel. We
<v Speaker 1>crushed it last week. We did like fifty thousand or
<v Speaker 1>something like fifty thousand views. It was great and no
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown this week. Just remember that no SmackDown post show
<v Speaker 1>this week, I will not be here. I will be
<v Speaker 1>at the NYC Arena for House of Glory. We have
<v Speaker 1>our own stack Card High Intensity, our big event of
<v Speaker 1>the summer, and we are gonna be streaming the event
<v Speaker 1>live and free on the official House of Glory YouTube channel,
<v Speaker 1>so you'll get to see everything. And we've got a
<v Speaker 1>whole bunch of people, not just all the House of
<v Speaker 1>Glory talent, but we have Eddie Kingston, the Mad King,
<v Speaker 1>who I believe is winding down his independent dates, so
<v Speaker 1>he'll be part of the main event. We have Shatzi
<v Speaker 1>defending her championship against SHANEA. Basler. Ricky Sosa is gonna
<v Speaker 1>be on the show. Leo Rush is going to be
<v Speaker 1>on the show. Zillah Fah two is gonna be there.
<v Speaker 1>People were like, Oh, is he gonna be He's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be at Summer Slab this week, and I'm like, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>he's not, No He's not. But he'll be at the
<v Speaker 1>NYC Arena against the Amazing Red defending his title on Friday.
<v Speaker 1>The Hardys will be there. It's going to be a
<v Speaker 1>big show. I think we're about eight or nine matches deep.
<v Speaker 1>That sounds about right. We had put tickets on sale
<v Speaker 1>for fifth row because the first four were sold out.
<v Speaker 1>I just noticed that fifth row tickets are gone as well,
<v Speaker 1>so standing room only is still available, or you can
<v Speaker 1>tune in on YouTube. Something big always happens on Smack
<v Speaker 1>Then when I'm not around, Oh, I fully expect something
<v Speaker 1>big is probably gonna happen. Usually it's a WWE championship
<v Speaker 1>match we'll get, We'll get an impromptu title match. Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Owens will want his title show, his guaranteed title shot
<v Speaker 1>on Friday, and we'll get Punk and Kevin Owens in
<v Speaker 1>the main event this Friday. Mark my words, something like
<v Speaker 1>that will happen. There's nothing I can do. What can
<v Speaker 1>I do? What can I do? What time? Does hog start?
<v Speaker 1>Seven pm? Eastern? That is the planned start time could
<v Speaker 1>get pushed back by a few minutes. It happens, but
<v Speaker 1>seven o'clock is when we're gonna kick things off. Super Pony,
<v Speaker 1>says Ilia versus Kevin Owens gets me going. If you
<v Speaker 1>know what I mean? No, I don't know what you mean.
<v Speaker 1>It gets you going, do explain. I just want to say,
<v Speaker 1>I just want to get the guy back on the show.
<v Speaker 1>Can we get him back on TV? Can we get
<v Speaker 1>proof of life for a dragon? Enough? That? Is that
<v Speaker 1>too much to ask? Anyway? Be well, stay safe, have
<v Speaker 1>yourselves a great rest of your night. I will see
<v Speaker 1>you for all of the new shows tomorrow. My The
<v Speaker 1>Dark Side of the Ring review for the Big boss
<v Speaker 1>Man episode just hit the YouTube channel earlier today, so
<v Speaker 1>please go check that out. Misfit Wrestling podcast. Imagine the
<v Speaker 1>one time Solo Isn't Live SmackDown has a goaded show.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think it'll be goaded. I wouldn't go that far.
<v Speaker 1>I would happily accept the show though, similar to the
<v Speaker 1>one we got tonight. They can pump out a show
<v Speaker 1>like that, I'll be very happy. I'll be a happy
<v Speaker 1>man when I do my review on the SoundOff next Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>Take care, guys,
