<v Speaker 1>Jerry Katie and Josh one hundred dot com.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I'm staring up at the TV right now and
<v Speaker 2>they're issuing all sorts of heat warnings again for this
<v Speaker 2>weekend trip. Ditch again, bro, So be careful while you're outside.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>I know we're gonna be talking about it a little
<v Speaker 2>bit more in the Mile High hype. But I went
<v Speaker 2>out for a workout yesterday and the only thing I
<v Speaker 2>said to my wife when I came home was that
<v Speaker 2>was a bad idea.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was not so smart move to be out
<v Speaker 1>there in the sun.
<v Speaker 2>We'll talk about it a little bit more during the hype.
<v Speaker 2>But you were out exercising again too, weren't you.
<v Speaker 3>I did that same thing, and I thought this like
<v Speaker 3>I thought I had heat stroke for a second. That's
<v Speaker 3>why this story is just hilarious to me. So when
<v Speaker 3>I walk, I walk by a swimming pool, right, and
<v Speaker 3>so there was a bunch of people in the swimming
<v Speaker 3>pool yesterday and I'm like across a little ditch from it,
<v Speaker 3>so I'm quite a few yards away from the actual
<v Speaker 3>swimming pool. But you know how when people talk on
<v Speaker 3>the water and everything, it carries it, so you can
<v Speaker 3>hear people talking even you know, really far away as
<v Speaker 3>I was when I was walking. So I'm sitting and
<v Speaker 3>I'm walking by the pool and I'm looking at these
<v Speaker 3>two guys who are sitting on like lawn chairs, and
<v Speaker 3>they're talking to each other and they're looking at each
<v Speaker 3>other and I can hear everything that they're saying.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm sitting there because I'm like.
<v Speaker 3>Again across a ditch almost hy bridge, so they can't
<v Speaker 3>see me, but I can hear everything that they're saying.
<v Speaker 3>But their conversation is weird because they're like looking at
<v Speaker 3>the people in the pool and the things that they're saying.
<v Speaker 2>I'm like what.
<v Speaker 3>So they're like, first they're like, well that one needs
<v Speaker 3>to be wider, and I was like what, and they're
<v Speaker 3>like stare. They're like pointing, and again I can see
<v Speaker 3>all their mannerisms, and then like the next thing was
<v Speaker 3>it's too dry, and like they're pointing at the people,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm like, why are you saying these things about it?
<v Speaker 3>So I'm just like completely transfixed about it. And then
<v Speaker 3>they're like the flaking off isn't good? You see that
<v Speaker 3>one flaking off?
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, why are they saying here about these poor people?
<v Speaker 2>Like they have no eye idea.
<v Speaker 3>And then and then it got to see the trunk.
<v Speaker 3>That's a good sized trunk. We need the other trunks
<v Speaker 3>to look like that. And I'm like starting and I said,
<v Speaker 3>and I actually said out loud, what are they talking about?
<v Speaker 1>And then the voices.
<v Speaker 3>Stopped, but the mannerisms keep going, and I'm like, oh,
<v Speaker 3>that is not And I turn around and there's literally
<v Speaker 3>two people behind me and they're like observing the trees.
<v Speaker 3>They work for the city, and they're actually taking like
<v Speaker 3>they're going around and looking at the trees and they're
<v Speaker 3>saying that this one's trunk isn't wide enough, and this
<v Speaker 3>one's too dry, and we need that.
<v Speaker 1>One's trunk to like that person's trunk.
<v Speaker 3>But they were like behind me, and I didn't see them,
<v Speaker 3>and I thought behind me, their voices were.
<v Speaker 2>Like it was bouncing some weird acoustic bounce.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, it was so dude, And I totally thought it
<v Speaker 3>was the dude's talking about the people in the pool
<v Speaker 3>and their trunks and their dry skin and how they
<v Speaker 3>need to be wider. I just was like it took
<v Speaker 3>me a second to be like, am I suffering from heatstroke?
<v Speaker 2>Because that's the only that's a bless your Heart moment
<v Speaker 2>if I ever heard of that.
<v Speaker 3>Bless your art moment, And I feel really stupid, but
<v Speaker 3>it made me laugh, like I chuckled all the way.
<v Speaker 1>I had a whole mile left to watch.
<v Speaker 2>And I think the best part too, is you like
<v Speaker 2>seeing stuff to yourself out loud. I was. I don't
<v Speaker 2>think I've ever caught myself in the world you talking about,
<v Speaker 2>don't you mean.
<v Speaker 3>I'm a very expressive person, so I and I live
<v Speaker 3>by myself, so I say things out loud all the time.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, definitely, yeah, I guess, I mean, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Could have been a little wider, was a little flaky honestly. Well,
<v Speaker 2>I guess you're stating for a macrutter sports report. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>this is something I would probably actually sit down and watch.
<v Speaker 2>There's a documentary coming out about the rivalry between Tom
<v Speaker 2>Brady and Peyton Manning. It is in the works, believe
<v Speaker 2>it or not. It's called Brady Versus Manning.
<v Speaker 1>I can't be Manning versus Brady what so?
<v Speaker 2>The documentary is going to combine exclusive interviews with teammates, coaches, executives, journalists,
<v Speaker 2>and other figures who witnessed the rivalry firsthand, with all
<v Speaker 2>sorts of archival footage and detailed storytelling. So it says
<v Speaker 2>this story I like this, I like it a lot,
<v Speaker 2>I to.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, the rivalry was a lot more intense when
<v Speaker 3>they were younger and he was with Indy, but it's
<v Speaker 3>an iconic rivalry still.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, for the Bronco for Bronco fans, probably the.
<v Speaker 4>Last biggest NFL rivalry too, I would say, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>two players.
<v Speaker 2>It's going to focus on their seventeen head to head
<v Speaker 2>matchups and the impact that they had on the league.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm for it. That's something I'll sit down and watch.
<v Speaker 2>For all you gamers out there, this is a billion
<v Speaker 2>dollar franchise. I believe the Madden franchise Madden NFL twenty
<v Speaker 2>seven is going to be coming out. But the big
<v Speaker 2>story about this is the soundtrack. They are saying this
<v Speaker 2>is going to be one of the best soundtracks video
<v Speaker 2>game history. Metallica, White Stripes, Sticks, Motorhead, Ozzy, the who Whoa.
<v Speaker 2>The game actually features oh did I have the number
<v Speaker 2>on here? Eighty different tracks. It doesn't say how many artists,
<v Speaker 2>but it's gonna be so popular and so big. They're
<v Speaker 2>actually releasing the game soundtrack on Apple Music. And Spotify
<v Speaker 2>because they're gonna say it's gonna be so darn good,
<v Speaker 2>that's amazing good. Charlotte's gonna be on their white Zombie
<v Speaker 2>incubus Lenny Kravitz what white stripes paramore Like, it's this
<v Speaker 2>is like my playlists, know, so're really excited about that.
<v Speaker 2>And I'll give you one more sports story before I
<v Speaker 2>toss it over to Josh. This got me thinking this
<v Speaker 2>might be a full fledged topic at some point. Have
<v Speaker 2>you ever thought about how you would feel if you
<v Speaker 2>were traded at work, just like you were a professional athlete? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I do, Like if your boss were to trade to
<v Speaker 2>another employer who wanted your skills. Yeah, probably ten twelve times.
<v Speaker 1>A day, right, that crosses your mind.
<v Speaker 2>A New Pole Yeah, yeah, yeah. A New Pole is
<v Speaker 2>saying about twenty five percent of people say that they
<v Speaker 2>would have a positive reaction to being traded, including a
<v Speaker 2>small six percent who said they would love it if
<v Speaker 2>that happened. You gotta be careful, you don't want to
<v Speaker 2>say that out loud around your place. But I kind
<v Speaker 2>of like the idea, especially like in our industry, if
<v Speaker 2>we were to be like we to be a better
<v Speaker 2>fit on country, Yeah, I'll trade you for you know,
<v Speaker 2>whatever country bumpkin is over there, exactly, put them on
<v Speaker 2>mix and then we'll go over to Row.
<v Speaker 1>And the mascot.
<v Speaker 2>You got a deal. It's kind of funny to think about, right,
<v Speaker 2>Or like if you're at a I don't know, a
<v Speaker 2>pot shop and a liquor store, wann't you?
<v Speaker 4>You know?
<v Speaker 2>I will trade You's.
<v Speaker 1>Got to be two vices.
<v Speaker 2>Well I don't. Yeah, Okay, people love the vices. Josh,
<v Speaker 2>what you got? I like that a lot.
<v Speaker 4>All right, Well, this is something that I learned that
<v Speaker 4>I never knew before, and I like this. So as
<v Speaker 4>the NFL season gears up, the first official game was
<v Speaker 4>last night, the Carolina Panthers took on the Arizona Cardinals
<v Speaker 4>and kind of a gun slinging showdown. But what NFL
<v Speaker 4>and college football stadiums do around the nation is a
<v Speaker 4>massive toilet test widely known as the Super Flush season,
<v Speaker 4>and it's a synchronized testing out of every single toilet
<v Speaker 4>and sink and urinal in the stadium flushed at one
<v Speaker 4>time to make sure that the pipes and the central
<v Speaker 4>system can handle that. It's essentially for them to test, hey,
<v Speaker 4>can our stadium take halftime when Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>It is so funny. I'm like, I've tried this at
<v Speaker 3>my house. Do it at stadiums too.
<v Speaker 2>Give Katie a chili dog and watch ass. You can
<v Speaker 2>volunteer for this, I kind of want to. You can
<v Speaker 2>volunteer thousands of other people to do one synchronized massive
<v Speaker 2>flush and see if the pipes burst.
<v Speaker 1>I'm here for it.
<v Speaker 2>See the Broncos should do it.
<v Speaker 5>It should be known as the Orange Flush.
<v Speaker 3>Alright, We've got receipts, We've got drummers, We've got Denver talking.
<v Speaker 1>It's the mile high height where the JKJ.
<v Speaker 6>Legends and icons on mix.
<v Speaker 2>Well, we have more than just let us to worry
<v Speaker 2>about now. Colorado health officials say that about one hundred
<v Speaker 2>and ten cases in the state of Salmonila are linked
<v Speaker 2>to fresh jallapanos. Oh no, not the jallapanos.
<v Speaker 1>No, not the spicy ones.
<v Speaker 2>The peppers were distributed by Coast Citrus distributors, all those guys,
<v Speaker 2>and they were used as some Chipotle and Cudova restaurants.
<v Speaker 2>The outbreak has affected more than three hundred people across
<v Speaker 2>twenty seven states. Yeah, these halopenos come from a plant
<v Speaker 2>out in Mexico. It sounds like again but that was
<v Speaker 2>the lettuce thing too, wasn't it. It was, Yeah, we're
<v Speaker 2>in Mexico. Yeah, jalapenos from Mexico, Mexico.
<v Speaker 3>There causing double pay. Now I'm in it already burns.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, imagine having diarrhea via no no no, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>no boy, bad day for you. Stay away from the
<v Speaker 2>and the lettuce now you. Wendy Williams, Fanny Williams.
<v Speaker 1>Love Wendy Williams.
<v Speaker 2>What you said about her that you loved.
<v Speaker 3>I just love that she had no qualms about saying
<v Speaker 3>I'm here to talk about your business, even when she
<v Speaker 3>went through all of her stuff where she was, you know,
<v Speaker 3>having a little bit of a breakdown a little bit,
<v Speaker 3>you know, and so but she came out and said,
<v Speaker 3>she was like, you know, I told everybody about your business.
<v Speaker 3>I'm not going to come out here and ask for
<v Speaker 3>privacy now, you know. So she was just no apologies whatsoever.
<v Speaker 2>Feisty.
<v Speaker 1>She's very feisty, and she worked really hard for what
<v Speaker 1>she got.
<v Speaker 2>So crazy energy out of Wendy Williams. She was on
<v Speaker 2>the show many many years ago and she came in
<v Speaker 2>and it was like a hurricane came through.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, well she's a radio girl.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it was like it, like she entertained she's a
<v Speaker 3>personality and she brought it one hundred and every time.
<v Speaker 2>So well, if you were also a Wendy Williams fan,
<v Speaker 2>A couple documentaries are reportedly going to be released on
<v Speaker 2>either well this has both, that's weird, both Peacock and Netflix,
<v Speaker 2>so they're gonna have competing documentaries. Oh anyway, there's a
<v Speaker 2>producer attached to one of the product projects that worked
<v Speaker 2>with Wendy for many, many years. They say that they're
<v Speaker 2>not sure if she's gonna be able to participate on
<v Speaker 2>camera though, due to her health. Yeah, and she can't
<v Speaker 2>film both projects, so they're expected to rely on like
<v Speaker 2>archival footage, interviews, former colleagues, family, So it's gonna like
<v Speaker 2>dig deep via the people aroun versus her.
<v Speaker 1>Oh I would love it you what her husband did
<v Speaker 1>to her?
<v Speaker 3>Like, Oh, I watch every documentary I find about Wendy Williams,
<v Speaker 3>so I will be watching it.
<v Speaker 2>You got two more on deck. Here's something else you
<v Speaker 2>might be watching because this is so funny. I watched
<v Speaker 2>the trailer for this this morning. Women everywhere are apparently
<v Speaker 2>lusting for this dude in a movie named wicker wicker
<v Speaker 2>like a wicker chair. Okay, this guy named Alexander Starsguard.
<v Speaker 2>He plays a man. Oh yeah, he's already sexy enough.
<v Speaker 2>He plays a man entirely made entirely of wicker, who
<v Speaker 2>brings companionship and more importantly, pleasure to a lonely older
<v Speaker 2>woman in this movie. And if you watch the trailer,
<v Speaker 2>don't have your children around because it's like an rated
<v Speaker 2>trailer because there's so much smashing going on in the trailer.
<v Speaker 2>It's apparently he's a freaking to bed, but he's wicker.
<v Speaker 2>He's not a real man. Some of the comments, I
<v Speaker 2>think I can read these on the air from ladies
<v Speaker 2>that are watching this. Here's some of the quotes. I
<v Speaker 2>have never been so horny for a basket before. When
<v Speaker 2>the doctor says you need more fiber in you. My
<v Speaker 2>friend just called the new Wicker movie fifty shades of hay.
<v Speaker 2>Trojan needs to come out with a basket weave texture
<v Speaker 2>and the tagline woven for her pleasure. I got two more.
<v Speaker 2>I'd deal with a few splinters for a wicker woven
<v Speaker 2>Alexander Scarsguard And finally, one of my favorites. I've spent
<v Speaker 2>my whole life devouring triskets. I am ready, it's pretty wild.
<v Speaker 3>I'm looking at still a picture of the female league. Yes,
<v Speaker 3>looking at the man.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, I need to see this movie.
<v Speaker 1>I'm taking you to see this movie right now.
<v Speaker 2>You live, like in an apartment or a condo, you
<v Speaker 2>should watch the trailer and turn it up really loud
<v Speaker 2>because your neighbors will think something is going on in
<v Speaker 2>your apartment just saying it's wild.
<v Speaker 1>Live alone watch this movie.
<v Speaker 2>But anyway, it's just kind of wild that this guy.
<v Speaker 2>Like when you look at him, it's like, ooh, you're
<v Speaker 2>made it out of waker. But ladies, be ready to
<v Speaker 2>smash woo. Yeah, check that trailer out today for I know.
<v Speaker 2>I can tell you're all blessing over there. Okay, what's
<v Speaker 2>going on locally?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So deputies in Highlands Ranch.
<v Speaker 3>So they got to laugh along with their traffic stop
<v Speaker 3>this week. So they tried pulling over a speeding motorcycle
<v Speaker 3>and when they did, they noticed that there were fake
<v Speaker 3>plates on the ride. Okay, his plate said not today,
<v Speaker 3>that false, Oh my gosh, it was in fact the
<v Speaker 3>day the rider tried getting away when officers pulled him
<v Speaker 3>over on foot, but not today. Indeed, dude was arrested
<v Speaker 3>in the slammer all the stuff, but quite hilarious.
<v Speaker 1>They posted that in their social media pages.
<v Speaker 3>And you think if you were trying to get away
<v Speaker 3>with a fake license plate, you would do something that
<v Speaker 3>wasn't so obvious. You know, criminals not usually members.
<v Speaker 2>So there we go.
<v Speaker 3>Hey, there was supposed to be a new Dave and
<v Speaker 3>Busters in Wheatbridge.
<v Speaker 1>But not anymore now.
<v Speaker 3>Earlier this year DNB's they were given the go ahead
<v Speaker 3>by the city, so a unanimous decision to set up
<v Speaker 3>a new location in the Clear Creek Crossing neighborhood, I
<v Speaker 3>believe is where it's at. A new thirty one thousand
<v Speaker 3>foot store is what they were going to put up
<v Speaker 3>there for the Dave and Busters.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, excuse me again.
<v Speaker 3>It was a unanimous decision from the city. But then
<v Speaker 3>when they started building it, they were like, wait a second.
<v Speaker 1>The neighborhood came out and was.
<v Speaker 2>Like hold on the power car. Yeah, not today.
<v Speaker 1>So the neighbors complained.
<v Speaker 3>About it, and they said that it was its massive size.
<v Speaker 1>They don't like that heavy.
<v Speaker 3>Commercial footprint that would destroy the local neighborhood character and
<v Speaker 3>really the traffic congestion, I mean the neighborhood showed up
<v Speaker 3>in full four. Good for them to debate this decision,
<v Speaker 3>and it was overturned.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, Dave and Busters is no longer going to build
<v Speaker 1>its new store there. They withdrew their plans.
<v Speaker 2>Now out of here, we're taking our ski boss somewhere else, which.
<v Speaker 3>Really goes to show that, you know, this whole scenario
<v Speaker 3>with the BUCkies down south, Remember we were talking about
<v Speaker 3>that as you're going down to Colorado Johnstown area, right, yeah,
<v Speaker 3>well no down south, so there.
<v Speaker 2>Isstown, this is palmer Ridge, right, yeah, but that's down
<v Speaker 2>there Jay Town never.
<v Speaker 1>Mind, yeah, something one of those Jay towns.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, this is very similar to that because you
<v Speaker 3>know the BUCkies folks, they wanted to set up a
<v Speaker 3>gas station down there as you make your way to
<v Speaker 3>the springs, and the people in that area was like,
<v Speaker 3>we don't want to look at a big beaver as
<v Speaker 3>we're just looking at our mountains, like that's going to
<v Speaker 3>ruin everything around the monument monument, thank you monument that wasn't.
<v Speaker 2>A j word at all. Was a lot of times
<v Speaker 2>they just come on, I'm like I made things up.
<v Speaker 2>Especially where's Larkspur it's down there. I think it was
<v Speaker 2>near Larkspur. Maybe it was an L word.
<v Speaker 1>All that area, all that is is what I was
<v Speaker 1>looking for.
<v Speaker 3>Not today, Not today, Jeremy.
<v Speaker 2>Oh boy, I gotta stop huffing paint park before I
<v Speaker 2>start the show.
<v Speaker 3>Oh You're so much fun really, But yeah, so this
<v Speaker 3>David Busters, I mean, if it's proving anything, it's neighbors.
<v Speaker 3>If you don't like something, get together, I mean strengthen numbers. Right,
<v Speaker 3>And that's kind of what they're saying with this whole
<v Speaker 3>David Busters saying it was because everyone came to the
<v Speaker 3>town meeting. Everyone said they didn't like it, and they
<v Speaker 3>can't ignore everybody.
<v Speaker 2>Right, that's right, monument.
<v Speaker 3>And then what does the poor air quality mean for
<v Speaker 3>your workout?
<v Speaker 2>Hot out?
<v Speaker 3>The air quality is crappy, and experts are saying you
<v Speaker 3>should do those outdoor workouts inside. So the iid, well, yeah,
<v Speaker 3>but like for me, I go and run outside.
<v Speaker 1>Am I just supposed to run around park Meadows?
<v Speaker 3>Mall?
<v Speaker 2>I say treadmills, I say.
<v Speaker 1>Dirty red mills. I hate that.
<v Speaker 2>I got home from work yesterday and I go, hey,
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna go out for a quick run. Yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna go pop off nine ten miles.
<v Speaker 1>Nine ten miles, You're crazy, Dan.
<v Speaker 2>So I went outside and I went for my run,
<v Speaker 2>and I was probably ten minutes into it, and I
<v Speaker 2>stopped running, and I go, this was a bad idea.
<v Speaker 2>And that's exactly what I told my wife when I
<v Speaker 2>walked in the door. I go, that was a bad
<v Speaker 2>idea I did. It was one hundred degrees. I didn't
<v Speaker 2>look at the temp. It was one hundred degrees. I
<v Speaker 2>had on black shorts, black ball cap and a black
<v Speaker 2>T shirts.
<v Speaker 1>Well, you weren't listening to anybody worried.
<v Speaker 2>And the smoke was so bad by the time I
<v Speaker 2>got home, I was like, oh my god, it tasted
<v Speaker 2>in my throat like I had smoked a pack of
<v Speaker 2>Marble reds.
<v Speaker 1>Well, that's what they're saying, like everything.
<v Speaker 3>So that's kind of the effects of all this smoke
<v Speaker 3>for pic And did you know also that twenty to
<v Speaker 3>seventy percent of people who are living with asthma are
<v Speaker 3>undiagnosed And it isn't until things like this happened.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, you really start.
<v Speaker 1>To realize it.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, bad air quality mixed with physical exertion could cause
<v Speaker 3>a lot of those flora. So that's why they're saying, like,
<v Speaker 3>you know, keep an eye out for any prolonged chest tightness.
<v Speaker 1>Or trouble breathing.
<v Speaker 3>Is that I go because when you exercise like that's
<v Speaker 3>when these asthma effects really start to you know. See somebody,
<v Speaker 3>remember if you are a gym goer, all I gotta
<v Speaker 3>get through details. If you are a gym goer, expect
<v Speaker 3>your gym to be a lot busier. Right now.
<v Speaker 2>I woke out with actually.
<v Speaker 1>Going inside as you should.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, if you suffer from any kind of breathing
<v Speaker 3>stuff copd. If you have asthma, sign and stay out.
<v Speaker 1>Wars ah. Of course there's my pipe. That's what's up. Jerry,
<v Speaker 1>Katy and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>I would imagine a lot of you are getting ready
<v Speaker 2>for work right now, trying to pick out the perfect
<v Speaker 2>pants suit for the day. Uh huh, Katie's got a
<v Speaker 2>fashion hack. I guess the.
<v Speaker 1>Wrong shoe theory. It's pretty awesome.
<v Speaker 2>The wrong shoe Yeah, that was.
<v Speaker 3>Coined by a celebrity stylist. So what it came from
<v Speaker 3>is she was looking at her client, who wore sneakers
<v Speaker 3>almost every day because she was a busy city mom,
<v Speaker 3>right uh, And so she noticed that her client would
<v Speaker 3>always start with her shoes and then build up from there.
<v Speaker 3>And she would always do sneakers because she kind of
<v Speaker 3>just felt like that's what her vibe was.
<v Speaker 1>But then her outfit always matched that, like sporty kind
<v Speaker 1>of sneaker.
<v Speaker 2>Equals sporty look. Yeah. Yeah, So because she.
<v Speaker 3>Started with the sneakers, everything always looked like it matched
<v Speaker 3>the sneakers. So she looked at that and she's like,
<v Speaker 3>wait a minute, how do you actually want to dress?
<v Speaker 3>And that's where she realized that sporty wasn't the goal
<v Speaker 3>with her client. It was just comfort, and because she's
<v Speaker 3>a city mom and walking a lot, she wanted to
<v Speaker 3>have that sneaker and then the outfit just kind.
<v Speaker 1>Of reflected that. So they switched things up.
<v Speaker 3>And what they did was they started the outfit first,
<v Speaker 3>So then you're building the outfit and then you choose
<v Speaker 3>the shoe that adds an unexpected contrast. So it's the
<v Speaker 3>wrong shoe, but it looks unexpected and cool.
<v Speaker 2>But somehow it was yeah, exactly fabulous.
<v Speaker 3>It has completely changed the game when it goes to fashion,
<v Speaker 3>and it said the addition of the sneakers. So if
<v Speaker 3>you have like a she looks like a pant suit,
<v Speaker 3>but then you have the sneakers along with it. It
<v Speaker 3>makes the sneakers look like they are the choice, like
<v Speaker 3>an intentional styling decision, and that looks more genuine to
<v Speaker 3>your style.
<v Speaker 2>But it's very much like the dudes now who rock
<v Speaker 2>the suits. You go into a fancy event or whatever,
<v Speaker 2>and then you grow on a really bright white pair
<v Speaker 2>of Nikes. Yeah, somehow it looks really good. Absolutely do
<v Speaker 2>you throw some Jordans on or something with your sin
<v Speaker 2>and you're like, damn this I could pull this off.
<v Speaker 3>This way with the suit is so money. And that's
<v Speaker 3>kind of the heart of this whole theory. It's like,
<v Speaker 3>choose a shoe that adds an unexpected contrast, and that's
<v Speaker 3>going to make the outfit feel more thoughtful and present.
<v Speaker 2>So I love being thoughtful, and I know you do
<v Speaker 2>vision Board.
<v Speaker 1>When I saw wrong shoe theory, I was like, JR.
<v Speaker 2>I've taken a sharpie or dry erace and wrote that
<v Speaker 2>on my mirror in the bathroom. Wrong shoe theory, Yes,
<v Speaker 2>thoughtful and present, so smart, and then I draw a
<v Speaker 2>heart around it.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, you matter, and then you The thing is, if
<v Speaker 3>you want to try this, you probably already own everything
<v Speaker 3>you need to try the wrong shoe theory instead of
<v Speaker 3>buying a whole wardrobe.
<v Speaker 2>That's what people love about it too, is like I
<v Speaker 2>already have everything I need. Yeah yeah, dig out those
<v Speaker 2>vans from the back corner of your close and throw
<v Speaker 2>them on to day just for fun.
<v Speaker 1>With an evening dress.
<v Speaker 2>Go do it. Oh yeah, it flops with a tuxedo.
<v Speaker 2>Where does it end. I've gone through a couple of
<v Speaker 2>big milestones with my kids this summer at the start
<v Speaker 2>of the school year. You know, we got one who's
<v Speaker 2>leaving elementary school going to middle one leaving middle going
<v Speaker 2>into high.
<v Speaker 1>School, both at the same time, same year.
<v Speaker 2>Right, that's a big move for parents.
<v Speaker 1>It is.
<v Speaker 2>My son started driving, and you know, we were talking
<v Speaker 2>about that on the air the other day and I
<v Speaker 2>started crying like a baby because he's growing up so fast.
<v Speaker 2>And I cried like a baby again yesterday, Oh what happened?
<v Speaker 2>We took my daughter over to the middle school because
<v Speaker 2>it was like the day that they get their schedule,
<v Speaker 2>their locker combination, they could drop off their supplies, they
<v Speaker 2>go walk the their schedule, walk the halls.
<v Speaker 3>You know, yes, Katie, I bet you bawled like a baby.
<v Speaker 2>The observations of these kids coming back from summer to school,
<v Speaker 2>especially in middle school. It is so funny to see
<v Speaker 2>the height differences of all these kids in that age group.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, some kids that are you know, five foot tall,
<v Speaker 2>and then you got other kids over here that are
<v Speaker 2>about a foot tall. Sad day for them. They got
<v Speaker 2>the upper locker and they cannot see they're the little
<v Speaker 2>dial at all. There's a couple of poor kids there
<v Speaker 2>that were so small they were like trying to jump
<v Speaker 2>up to get their locker open. It was really quite sad.
<v Speaker 2>I laughed though, and speaking up the lockers. It was
<v Speaker 2>kind of cute watching all these kids, including my daughter,
<v Speaker 2>who live in a fully digital world right now, trying
<v Speaker 2>to figure out how the combo lockers work. You know,
<v Speaker 2>right left, right, right, right, left right.
<v Speaker 1>You get the one number that all the way around
<v Speaker 1>for the second number.
<v Speaker 2>That's right, and trying to teach them about that when
<v Speaker 2>they are just used to you know, one, two, three,
<v Speaker 2>four on their phone and boom you're in. Yeah, it
<v Speaker 2>was kind of funny.
<v Speaker 1>Never turned a dial in their life, have never.
<v Speaker 2>Used an analog locker in their life. And sweet, my
<v Speaker 2>sweet little daughter, she I made her do it. She
<v Speaker 2>was getting so sick of me because it took her
<v Speaker 2>a while to catch on how to do it, and
<v Speaker 2>so we'd go walk her schedule, go, you know, go
<v Speaker 2>back to the locker, do it two or three more times,
<v Speaker 2>and she's like, I was like, do it because you're
<v Speaker 2>gonna be under a time crash when you're changing classes,
<v Speaker 2>and I just want you to know how to do it.
<v Speaker 2>So she must have opened and closed her locker probably
<v Speaker 2>seventy five times yesterday. It's like the wax on wax
<v Speaker 2>of yees karate kids. Yes, but you know what, she
<v Speaker 2>got it down. She can do it with her eyes
<v Speaker 2>closed now. So I was very proud of her. But yeah,
<v Speaker 2>there was a moment when we were walking around I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna try not to cry now, when we walked into
<v Speaker 2>the cafeteria and it was so you know, it's so big,
<v Speaker 2>it's way bigger than an elementary school cafeteria, right, oh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>And she stood there and she was standing there and
<v Speaker 2>I got this picture of her just kind of standing
<v Speaker 2>there like taking it all in and looking at the
<v Speaker 2>ceiling and I lost it and nope, he noticed. I
<v Speaker 2>just was like, I mean I lost it. I was like,
<v Speaker 2>my little girl.
<v Speaker 1>I was like that's your baby.
<v Speaker 2>And I I had tears like rolling down my face,
<v Speaker 2>and I wasn't loud crying. It was just like, you know,
<v Speaker 2>you well up. Yeah, And I looked over it Nicole
<v Speaker 2>and she said don't and then boom, she started just
<v Speaker 2>gushing and We're trying to hide it from the kids.
<v Speaker 2>And then I'm like, oh my god, who am I
<v Speaker 2>going to run into in the halls here now? And
<v Speaker 2>I've got bright red eyes and I'm like everything's wet.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, it's just you've been there. Oh yeah, it's
<v Speaker 2>a moment, man. I had a moment yesterday.
<v Speaker 3>You know, when they graduated from high school, like when
<v Speaker 3>they go to college, all those things. I mean it
<v Speaker 3>and it hits you like that every time you think
<v Speaker 3>that maybe you're used to it, you're going to be
<v Speaker 3>prepared this time, you've got you expect it coming. But
<v Speaker 3>every time, at least for me, I just completely lose
<v Speaker 3>it because you're right, it's a moment in time that
<v Speaker 3>you just realize they're not gonna be with you forever.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And I.
<v Speaker 3>Think that's what it is. It really sets in. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>it hits you like like.
<v Speaker 2>Like the clock is ticking right moving forward and it's.
<v Speaker 3>A real person, real like with real feelings and beliefs
<v Speaker 3>and yeahs and dreams, and it's just like.
<v Speaker 2>This is a whole new, huge experience moving from elementary
<v Speaker 2>to middle school. This is a big deal.
<v Speaker 3>Now, you know, right, you're so happy because you're like, oh,
<v Speaker 3>you're doing all the things I wanted you to. This
<v Speaker 3>is exactly what we've been training for for you to
<v Speaker 3>move on the next moment. So it's like there's so
<v Speaker 3>many feelings involved in it, and I think that's why
<v Speaker 3>people become overwhelmed because it's just like.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what this is. I'm just gonna cry.
<v Speaker 7>You know.
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying to be you know, a big tough dad
<v Speaker 2>and everything, and man, it's not a chance in health.
<v Speaker 2>So I expected to happen again when we go up
<v Speaker 2>to the high school and do some stuff for you know,
<v Speaker 2>back to school night and stuff there for my son.
<v Speaker 3>But you're very careful. Those high school kids will push
<v Speaker 3>you down, and they will.
<v Speaker 2>They will shove me down. Well, who's dad is dad crying?
<v Speaker 2>Nicole did hold it together pretty darn well though. I
<v Speaker 2>was really impressed because she is definitely a very sentimental mom.
<v Speaker 2>But when we walked out the front doors of the
<v Speaker 2>middle school to head out. That's when she was like,
<v Speaker 2>I held it in for I just I held it
<v Speaker 2>in for so long and now I can't. So she
<v Speaker 2>was out front with snot running down her face. I'm sure. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it was pretty nasty.
<v Speaker 3>That's the thing, though, you can totally give some kind
<v Speaker 3>of you know, people out there are listening going through
<v Speaker 3>the same exactly, guys, I feel you exactly like strength
<v Speaker 3>and numbers one, big hug, Parents five. The fun starts
<v Speaker 3>now with Fast five.

<v Speaker 2>Well we're really. Good you're like major, bumman, though aren't?
<v Speaker 7>YOU i am super?
<v Speaker 2>Bummed tell us what.
<v Speaker 7>HAPPENED i called in and we had called in, previously
<v Speaker 7>and we thought the radio was just playing through the.
<v Speaker 7>Phone and then we realized BECAUSE i thought once the
<v Speaker 7>first person got, through the game was.
<v Speaker 2>Over uh.
<v Speaker 7>Huh SO i hung up and then my husband looked
<v Speaker 7>at me and was, like, NO i think you got.
<v Speaker 7>Through so we called, back and right when you guys,
<v Speaker 7>answered they asked for my name and then asked if
<v Speaker 7>we were ready to, play AND i said, yeah and.
<v Speaker 2>Then and then put you back on.
<v Speaker 4>Hold.
<v Speaker 7>YEAH i didn't know how it, worked and SO i
<v Speaker 7>THOUGHT i was playing. Live you thought you were on the.
<v Speaker 2>Air you were on. Hold and THEN i said go. Ahead,
<v Speaker 2>NO i was so.
<v Speaker 7>Ready and you guys said to name the five famous
<v Speaker 7>people Named Tony, yes AND i shot him, off AND
<v Speaker 7>i was so. EXCITED i STARTED i was so. Excited
<v Speaker 7>and Then david looked at me and, Said, dave that's
<v Speaker 7>not you on the. Line you're on.
<v Speaker 2>Hold. Yeah so you thought you were playing while you
<v Speaker 2>were on, hold and you thought you. Won oh, NO.
<v Speaker 4>I, thought who was?
<v Speaker 2>Honey, Well i'm sorry you didn't. Win but that literally
<v Speaker 2>made me. Laugh WHEN i saw that text come, THROUGH
<v Speaker 2>i was, like, oh that Poor he thought she was
<v Speaker 2>playing and she was on a. Hold, well there's some
<v Speaker 2>good there's some good. News we'll play again On monday,
<v Speaker 2>morning so you can try to call in and actually
<v Speaker 2>play with.
<v Speaker 7>Us all, Right, okay so, Good i'll be.
<v Speaker 2>Ready you're the, best, though you, guys have a great,
<v Speaker 2>weekend and as, always thank you so much for having
<v Speaker 2>fun each and every morning With Jeremy katy And.
<v Speaker 3>Josh Jeremy katy And josh makes one.
<v Speaker 2>Hundreds So i'm hanging out with some friends tonight and
<v Speaker 2>we've been kind of doing these things where we just
<v Speaker 2>don't like, Drink LIKE i don't want to sound too sexy,
<v Speaker 2>here but we're gonna have like hot tea and stuff
<v Speaker 2>and just hang out and catch.
<v Speaker 7>Up.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah so we're Gonna one of the friends was,
<v Speaker 2>like what do you want us to bring? In nicole's
<v Speaker 2>like your favorite. Tea, hey we'll help the. Water so
<v Speaker 2>it's gonna be a super sexy. Evening watch out. Things
<v Speaker 2>we're gonna get. Crazy but you, know it kind of
<v Speaker 2>goes hand in hand with Gen z not. Drinking, yeah
<v Speaker 2>it's a big thing right. Now alcohol sales are in the.
<v Speaker 2>Toilet it also goes along with this article out Of
<v Speaker 2>Men's fitness talking about the wellness drink trend right now
<v Speaker 2>called functional. Beer so it's beer that's basically non, alcoholic
<v Speaker 2>but it's fortified with vitamins and. Supplements you're gonna drink
<v Speaker 2>this beer and you're gonna get your ash, waganda natural,
<v Speaker 2>botanicals your, electrolytes your, probiotics but you're getting your drink.
<v Speaker 2>On they are calling it essentially a feel good buzz,
<v Speaker 2>now so you're getting that buzz without the. BOOT i love,
<v Speaker 2>that AND i feel like it would try. This you
<v Speaker 2>gotta be careful with the, probiotics, though because that'll make
<v Speaker 2>you poop your pants. Exactly THAT'S i don't want to
<v Speaker 2>be in there hanging out with a group of friends
<v Speaker 2>pooping your, Pants i'll tell you.
<v Speaker 1>That and you're not even.
<v Speaker 2>Drunk But i'm kind of on board with this where
<v Speaker 2>you can have the taste of, beer you can have
<v Speaker 2>your chicken wings and have your non alcoholic, beer but
<v Speaker 2>while at the same time you're kind of get and
<v Speaker 2>some stuff that's good for.
<v Speaker 3>You. Yeah, well And sodas did this a while, ago
<v Speaker 3>the probiotic, stuff the healthy.
<v Speaker 5>Poppy stuff like.
<v Speaker 4>That.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Yeah so that's going. On the other thing going
<v Speaker 2>on with the zers out in the dating world is
<v Speaker 2>something called inflated. Dating it's trying to date in the
<v Speaker 2>midst of massive inflation right. Now oh, yeah so everybody's
<v Speaker 2>trying to do budget friendly. Dates they, say instead of
<v Speaker 2>having reservations at a fancy, place you might be hitting
<v Speaker 2>UP i don't, know like a RB's and then you
<v Speaker 2>go home and watch reruns Of Shark tank or.
<v Speaker 5>SOMETHING i don't see anything wrong with.
<v Speaker 2>That good a positive shift in people's love. Lives you're
<v Speaker 2>prioritizing creativity and connection over financial. Flexing not a bad.
<v Speaker 3>Idea taking strain off your wallet is gonna make both
<v Speaker 3>of you, happier which makes for a better. RELATIONSHIP i
<v Speaker 3>just went out with the Baby nana for her birthday
<v Speaker 3>and for two of us two eat and she had
<v Speaker 3>one drink one hundred and forty.
<v Speaker 2>Dollars, yeah it's nutty right.
<v Speaker 4>Now see it as a, Man katie, Too like as
<v Speaker 4>the man when you're taking a girl, out like you
<v Speaker 4>go out and spend two hundred, bucks lets, say drop
<v Speaker 4>two hundred bucks on a nice steak dinner and the
<v Speaker 4>date doesn't even go.
<v Speaker 2>WELL i. Know, yeah it's a horrible. Mode this way
<v Speaker 2>you can get them back to your house super. Easy,
<v Speaker 2>josh back to Us Shark. Shark there's this other crazy trend,
<v Speaker 2>though that you, know the high. Rollers, yeah talking about
<v Speaker 2>with the.
<v Speaker 3>Ubers so on the opposite end of, that they have
<v Speaker 3>this story about dates and how the dating question that's
<v Speaker 3>literally like tearing people.
<v Speaker 1>Apart it's called The Great Uber, debate.
<v Speaker 3>And people are asking like about when you have a
<v Speaker 3>date and whether or not they're sending a car for.
<v Speaker 3>You apparently that's the, thing and one person actually it
<v Speaker 3>really started to spread on x because somebody came out
<v Speaker 3>and was, like every good Man i've ever been on
<v Speaker 3>a date with has sent a car and then said
<v Speaker 3>usually the uber black so they're really spending for that extra,
<v Speaker 3>Yeah and so now it's kind of a thing on
<v Speaker 3>social media where women specifically are kind of grading men
<v Speaker 3>on this behavior whether or not they send a car
<v Speaker 3>for your first. Date now they have the cons as,
<v Speaker 3>well because they're, like, well he could also be a serial.
<v Speaker 3>Killer he knows where you live for the first.
<v Speaker 2>Date but with that you can always, say you, know
<v Speaker 2>you can have an uber pick me up it you,
<v Speaker 2>know they're a different cross street pick me up with
<v Speaker 2>the seven.
<v Speaker 3>One, yeah it, Around but that is one of the
<v Speaker 3>arguments here is, like you, KNOW i don't want a
<v Speaker 3>guy sending a.
<v Speaker 1>Car for me then he knows WHERE i, live or
<v Speaker 1>then it's too much.
<v Speaker 3>Control HE i can expect, somebody you, know but there
<v Speaker 3>are women out here who will not even say hi
<v Speaker 3>to you unless you send a car for.
<v Speaker 2>That, LIKE i have never heard of this. BEFORE i
<v Speaker 2>would never even think to send An uber even that
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't even cross my. Mind but what a flex that.
<v Speaker 1>IS i, mean it's called the new. Chivalry it's, like
<v Speaker 1>that's kind of how they're looking at.
<v Speaker 2>It it's, like, yes Fan, MAIDEN i shall sit you
<v Speaker 2>and black.
<v Speaker 1>High glass steel.
<v Speaker 2>Carriage will be picking you up in the form of
<v Speaker 2>A Cadillac.
<v Speaker 1>Escalator Uber, black and then thou.
<v Speaker 2>Shalt meet me for some meat on a. STICK i
<v Speaker 2>have the MEATS i, have and then later that evening
<v Speaker 2>we shall create the beast with two. Backs we shall pro.
<v Speaker 2>Create is that how guy's? Talking, now come, here Fan
<v Speaker 2>maiden become very wench forully? Evening this is really we
<v Speaker 2>were just talking About. Uber stop. IT i can't stop.
<v Speaker 2>It they started stop that? Right the PROBLEM i, HAVE
<v Speaker 2>i know all Because katie said something kind of silly
<v Speaker 2>off the air. YESTERDAY i was, like let's talk about
<v Speaker 2>that on the.
<v Speaker 1>Show there it, is, Yeah AND i thought about it
<v Speaker 1>in the.
<v Speaker 3>Bathroom so that's all the best ideas over, Sure oh,
<v Speaker 3>seriously like that's where all.
<v Speaker 1>The good stuff comes.
<v Speaker 3>From AND i just asked you, guys if animals could,
<v Speaker 3>talk which one do you think would be the, rudest
<v Speaker 3>the biggest? Jerk and, Yeah i've been thinking about it all,
<v Speaker 3>day SO i JUST i think it's.

<v Speaker 2>yes if animals could, talk which one would be the biggest? Jerk?

<v Speaker 3>can actually plan things like they're. Cocky dolphins are super
<v Speaker 3>and they're adorable and cute and they make the cutest.
