<v Speaker 1>Jerry Katie and Josh one hundred dot com.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I'm staring up at the TV right now and
<v Speaker 2>they're issuing all sorts of heat warnings again for this
<v Speaker 2>weekend trip. Ditch again, bro, So be careful while you're outside.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>I know we're gonna be talking about it a little
<v Speaker 2>bit more in the Mile High hype. But I went
<v Speaker 2>out for a workout yesterday.
<v Speaker 3>And the only thing I said to my wife when
<v Speaker 3>I came home was that was.
<v Speaker 2>A bad idea.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was not so smart move to be out
<v Speaker 1>there in the sun.
<v Speaker 2>We'll talk about that a little bit more during the hype.
<v Speaker 2>But you were out exercising again, too, weren't you.
<v Speaker 1>I did that same thing, and I thought this like
<v Speaker 1>I thought I had heat stroke for a second. And
<v Speaker 1>that's why this story is just hilarious to me. So
<v Speaker 1>when I walk, I walk by a swimming pool, right,
<v Speaker 1>and so there was a bunch of people in the
<v Speaker 1>swimming pool yesterday and I'm like across a little ditch
<v Speaker 1>from it, so I'm quite a few yards away from
<v Speaker 1>the actual swimming pool. But you know how when people
<v Speaker 1>talk on the water and everything, it carries it. So
<v Speaker 1>you can hear people talking even, you know, really far
<v Speaker 1>away as I was when I was walking. So I'm
<v Speaker 1>sitting and I'm walking by the pool, and I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>at these two guys who are sitting on like lawn chairs,
<v Speaker 1>and they're talking to each other and they're looking at
<v Speaker 1>each other and I can hear everything that they're saying.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm sitting there because I'm like again across a
<v Speaker 1>ditch almost by a bridge, so they can't see me,
<v Speaker 1>but I can hear everything that they're saying. But their
<v Speaker 1>conversation is weird because they're like looking at the people
<v Speaker 1>in the pool and the things that they're saying. I'm
<v Speaker 1>like what. So they're like, first they're like, well, that
<v Speaker 1>one needs to be wider, and I was like what,
<v Speaker 1>and they're like stre they're like pointing, and again I
<v Speaker 1>can see all their mannerisms, and then like the next
<v Speaker 1>thing was it's too dry, and like they're pointing at
<v Speaker 1>the people, and I'm like, why do you say these
<v Speaker 1>things about it? So I'm just like completely transfixed about it.
<v Speaker 1>And then they're like the flaking off isn't good? You
<v Speaker 1>see that one flaking off? I'm like, why are they
<v Speaker 1>saying here about these poor people? Like they have no
<v Speaker 1>eye dia. And then and then it got to see
<v Speaker 1>the trunk. That's a good sized trunk. We need the
<v Speaker 1>other trunks to look like that. And I'm like staring,
<v Speaker 1>Actually I know, and I said, and I actually said
<v Speaker 1>out loud, what are they talking about? And then the
<v Speaker 1>voices stopped, but the mannerisms keep going, and I'm like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>that is not And I turn around and there's literally
<v Speaker 1>two people behind me and they're like observing the trees.
<v Speaker 1>They work for the city, and they're actually taking like
<v Speaker 1>they're going around and looking at the trees and they're
<v Speaker 1>saying that this one's trunk isn't wide enough and this
<v Speaker 1>one's too dry, and we need that one's trunk to
<v Speaker 1>look like that person's trunk. But they were like behind me,
<v Speaker 1>and I didn't see them, and I thought behind me,
<v Speaker 1>their voices were like.
<v Speaker 2>It was bouncing like some weird acoustic bounce.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, it was so the dude, and I totally thought
<v Speaker 1>it was the dude's talking about the people in the
<v Speaker 1>pool and their trunks and their dry skin and how
<v Speaker 1>they need to be wider. I just was like it
<v Speaker 1>took me a second to really be like, am I
<v Speaker 1>suffering from heatstroke, because that's.
<v Speaker 2>The only that's a bless your heart moment if I
<v Speaker 2>ever heard of.
<v Speaker 1>That bless your heart moment. And I feel really stupid,
<v Speaker 1>but it made me laugh, like I chuckled all the way.
<v Speaker 2>I had a whole mile left watch. And I think
<v Speaker 2>the best part too, is you like saying stuff to
<v Speaker 2>yourself out loud.
<v Speaker 1>I was.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think I've ever caught myself in the world
<v Speaker 2>you talking about.
<v Speaker 1>You mean, I'm a very expressive person, so I and
<v Speaker 1>I live by myself, so I say things out loud
<v Speaker 1>all the time. But yeah, definitely, yeah, I guess I'm
<v Speaker 1>meaning yeah, could have been a little wider.
<v Speaker 2>One was a little flaky honestly. Well, I guess you're
<v Speaker 2>sating for a Macrhutter sports report. Uh, this is something
<v Speaker 2>I would probably actually sit down and watch. There's a
<v Speaker 2>documentary coming out about the rivalry between Tom Brady and
<v Speaker 2>Peyton Manning. It is in the works, Believe it or not.
<v Speaker 2>It's called Brady Versus Manning.
<v Speaker 1>I can't be Manning versus Brady what so?
<v Speaker 2>The documentary is going to combine exclusive interviews with teammates, coaches, executives, journalists,
<v Speaker 2>and other figures who witnessed the rivalry firsthand with all
<v Speaker 2>sorts of archival footage and detailed storytelling.
<v Speaker 3>So it says this story, I like this, I.
<v Speaker 2>Like it a lot. I do too.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, the rivalry was a lot more intense when
<v Speaker 1>they were younger and he was with Indy.
<v Speaker 2>But it's an iconic rivalry still.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, for the Bronco for Bronco fans.
<v Speaker 4>Probably the last biggest NFL rivalry too, I would say, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>two players.
<v Speaker 2>It's going to focus on their seventeen head to head
<v Speaker 2>matchups and the impact that they had on the league.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm for it. That's something I'll sit down and watch.
<v Speaker 2>For all you gamers out there, this is a billion
<v Speaker 2>dollar franchise. I believe the Madden franchise Madden NFL.
<v Speaker 3>Twenty seven is going to be coming out.
<v Speaker 2>But the big story about this is the soundtrack. They
<v Speaker 2>are saying this is going to be one of the
<v Speaker 2>best soundtracks in video game history. Metallica, White Stripes, Sticks, Motorhead, Ozzy,
<v Speaker 2>the who Whoa. The game actually features oh did I
<v Speaker 2>have the number on here? Eighty different tracks. It doesn't
<v Speaker 2>say how many artists, but it's gonna be so popular
<v Speaker 2>and so big they're actually releasing the game soundtrack on
<v Speaker 2>Apple Music and Spotify because they're gonna say it's gonna
<v Speaker 2>be so darn good, that's amazing good. Charlotte's gonna be
<v Speaker 2>on there, White Zombie Incubus, Lenny Kravitz, what white Stripes
<v Speaker 2>Paramore Like, it's this is like my playlist, and they're
<v Speaker 2>gonna be nostalgic.
<v Speaker 3>So're really excited about that.
<v Speaker 2>And I'll give you one more sports story before I
<v Speaker 2>toss it over to Josh. This got me thinking this
<v Speaker 2>might be a full fledged topic at some point. Have
<v Speaker 2>you ever thought about how you would feel if you
<v Speaker 2>were traded at work, just like you were a professional athlete?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>I do, Like if your boss were to trade you
<v Speaker 2>to another employer who wanted your skills. Yeah, probably ten
<v Speaker 2>twelve times a.
<v Speaker 1>Day, Right, that crosses your mind?
<v Speaker 2>A New Pole, Yeah, yeah, yeah. A New Pole is
<v Speaker 2>saying about twenty five percent of people say that they
<v Speaker 2>would have a positive reaction to being traded, including a
<v Speaker 2>small six percent who said they would love it if
<v Speaker 2>that happened. You gotta be careful, you don't want to
<v Speaker 2>say that out loud around your place. But I kind
<v Speaker 2>of like the idea, especially like in our industry, if
<v Speaker 2>we were to be like, ah, we to be a
<v Speaker 2>better fit on country, Yeah, I'll trade you for you know,
<v Speaker 2>whatever country bumpkin is over there, exactly, put them on
<v Speaker 2>mix and then we'll go over to us when the mascot.
<v Speaker 1>You got a deal.
<v Speaker 2>That's kind of funny to think about, right, Or like
<v Speaker 2>if you're at a I don't know, a pot shop
<v Speaker 2>and a liquor store, wann't you you know? I will
<v Speaker 2>trade you's.
<v Speaker 1>It got to be two vices.
<v Speaker 2>Well yeah, okay, people love the vices. Josh, what you got?
<v Speaker 2>I like that a lot.
<v Speaker 4>All right, Well, this is something that I learned that
<v Speaker 4>I never knew before.
<v Speaker 2>I like this.
<v Speaker 4>So as the NFL season gears up, the first official
<v Speaker 4>game was last night, the Carolina Panthers took on the
<v Speaker 4>Arizona Cardinals and kind of a gun slinging showdown. But
<v Speaker 4>what NFL and college football stadiums do around the nation
<v Speaker 4>is a massive toilet test widely known as the Super
<v Speaker 4>Flush season, and it's a synchronized testing out of every
<v Speaker 4>single toilet and sink and urinal in the stadium flushed
<v Speaker 4>at one time to make sure that the pipes and
<v Speaker 4>the central system can handle that. It's essentially for them
<v Speaker 4>to test. Hey, can our stadium take halftime when?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? No, is this so funny? I'm like, I've tried
<v Speaker 1>this at my house. I do it at stadiums.
<v Speaker 2>Too, Katie a chili dog and watch ass. You can
<v Speaker 2>volunteer for this, I kind of want to.
<v Speaker 4>You can volunteer two thousands of other people to do
<v Speaker 4>one synchronized massive flush and see if the pipes burst.
<v Speaker 1>I'm here for it.
<v Speaker 4>See the Broncos should do it should be known as
<v Speaker 4>the Orange flush.
<v Speaker 1>All right, We've got receipts, We've got drumas, we've got
<v Speaker 1>Denver talking.
<v Speaker 2>It's the mile high height.
<v Speaker 1>Where the JKJ legends and icons on mixed. One hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Well, we have more than just let us to worry
<v Speaker 2>about now. Colorado health officials say that about one hundred
<v Speaker 2>and ten cases in the state of Salmonila are linked
<v Speaker 2>to fresh jallapanos. Oh no, not the jallapanos.
<v Speaker 1>No, not the spicy ones.
<v Speaker 2>The peppers were distributed by Coast Citrus distributors. Oh those guys,
<v Speaker 2>and they were used as some Chipotle and Coudova restaurants.
<v Speaker 3>The outbreak has affected.
<v Speaker 2>More than three hundred people. Across twenty seven states. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>these jlopenos come from a plant out in Mexico.
<v Speaker 3>It sounds like again, but.
<v Speaker 2>That was the lettuce thing too, wasn't it. It was
<v Speaker 2>yeah in Mexico. Yeah, lapos from Mexico, Mexico.
<v Speaker 1>They're causing double pay now, I mean in it already burnous.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, imagine having diarrhea via Oh no no, no, no, no, no.
<v Speaker 3>Boy, bad day for you. Stay away from the and the.
<v Speaker 2>Lettuce now you Wendy Williams, Fanny.
<v Speaker 1>Williams love Wendy Williams.
<v Speaker 2>What is it about her that you loved?
<v Speaker 1>I just love that she had no qualms about saying
<v Speaker 1>I'm here to talk about your business, even when she
<v Speaker 1>went through all of her stuff where she was, you know,
<v Speaker 1>having a little bit of a breakdown a little bit,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and so but she came out and said,
<v Speaker 1>she was like, you know, I told everybody about your business.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not gonna come out here and ask for privacy now,
<v Speaker 1>you know. So she was just no apologies whatsoever.
<v Speaker 2>Feisty.
<v Speaker 1>She's very feisty, and she worked really hard for what
<v Speaker 1>she got.
<v Speaker 2>So crazy energy out of Wendy Williams. She was on
<v Speaker 2>the show many many years ago, and she came in
<v Speaker 2>and it was like a hurricane came through.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, well she's a radio girl. Yeah, it was
<v Speaker 1>like it like she entertained she's a personality and she
<v Speaker 1>brought it one hundred and every time.
<v Speaker 2>So well, if you are also a Wendy Williams fan,
<v Speaker 2>a couple documentaries are reportedly going to be released on
<v Speaker 2>either Well this has both, that's weird, both Peacock and Netflix,
<v Speaker 2>so they're gonna have competing documentaries. Oh, anyway, there's a
<v Speaker 2>producer attached to one of the product projects that worked.
<v Speaker 3>With Windy for many, many years.
<v Speaker 2>They say that they're not sure if she's gonna be
<v Speaker 2>able to participate on camera though, due to her health. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and she can't film both projects, so they're expected to
<v Speaker 2>rely on like archival footage, interviews, former colleagues, family, So
<v Speaker 2>it's gonna like dig deep via the people around her
<v Speaker 2>versus her.
<v Speaker 1>Oh I would love it you what her husband did
<v Speaker 1>to her? Like, Oh, I watch every documentary I find
<v Speaker 1>about Wendy Williams, so I will be watching it.
<v Speaker 3>You've got two more on deck.
<v Speaker 2>Here's something else you might be watching because this is
<v Speaker 2>so funny. I watched the trailer for this this morning,
<v Speaker 2>women everywhere are apparently lusting for this dude in a
<v Speaker 2>movie named Wicker.
<v Speaker 3>Wicker like a wicker chair.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, this guy named Alexander starsguard. He plays a man.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, he's already sexy enough. He plays a man
<v Speaker 2>entirely made entirely of wicker who brings companionship and more importantly,
<v Speaker 2>pleasure to a lonely older woman in this movie. And
<v Speaker 2>if you watch the trailer, don't have your children around
<v Speaker 2>because it's like an rated trailer because there's so much
<v Speaker 2>smashing going on in the railer. It's apparently he's a
<v Speaker 2>freaking to bed. But he's Wicker. He's not a real man.
<v Speaker 2>Some of the comments I think I can read these
<v Speaker 2>on the air from ladies that are watching this. Here's
<v Speaker 2>some of the quotes. I have never been so horny
<v Speaker 2>for a basket before. When the doctor says you need
<v Speaker 2>more fiber in you. My friend just called the new
<v Speaker 2>Wicker movie fifty shades of hay. Trojan needs to come
<v Speaker 2>out with a basket weave texture and the tagline woven
<v Speaker 2>for her pleasure. I got two more. I'd deal with
<v Speaker 2>a few splinters for a wicker Woven, Alexander Scarsguard and
<v Speaker 2>finally one of my favorites. I've spent my whole life
<v Speaker 2>devouring triskets.
<v Speaker 3>I am ready.
<v Speaker 2>Now it's pretty wild.
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking at still a picture of the female league. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>looking at the man. Yes, I need to see this movie.
<v Speaker 1>I'm telling you need to see this movie right now.
<v Speaker 2>You live, like in an apartment or a condo, you
<v Speaker 2>should watch the trailer and turn it up really loud
<v Speaker 2>because your neighbors will think something is going on in
<v Speaker 2>your apartment, just saying it's wild. Live alone watch this movie.
<v Speaker 2>But anyway, it's just kind of wild that this guy,
<v Speaker 2>Like when you look at him, it's like, ooh, you're
<v Speaker 2>made it out a waker. But ladies be ready to
<v Speaker 2>smash woo. Yeah. Check that trailer out today for I'm
<v Speaker 2>I can tell you're all blessing over there.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, what's going on locally?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So deputies in Highlands Ranch, so they got to
<v Speaker 1>laugh along with their traffic stop this week. So they
<v Speaker 1>tried pulling over a speeding motorcycle and when they did,
<v Speaker 1>they noticed that there were fake plates on the ride. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>his plate said not today, that false. Oh my gosh,
<v Speaker 1>it was in fact the day the rider tried getting
<v Speaker 1>away when officers pulled him over on foot, but not today. Indeed,
<v Speaker 1>dude was arrested in the slammer, all the stuff, but
<v Speaker 1>quite hilarious. They posted that in their social media pages.
<v Speaker 1>And you think if you were trying to get away
<v Speaker 1>with a fake license plate, you would do something that
<v Speaker 1>wasn't so obvious. You know, criminals not usually members.
<v Speaker 2>Criminal So there we go.
<v Speaker 1>Hey, there was supposed to be a new Dave and
<v Speaker 1>Busters in Wheatbridge, but not anymore now. Earlier this year
<v Speaker 1>DNB's they were given the go ahead by the city,
<v Speaker 1>so a unanimous decision to set up a new location
<v Speaker 1>in the Clear Creek Crossing neighborhood, I believe is where
<v Speaker 1>it's at. A new thirty one thousand foot store is
<v Speaker 1>what they were going to put up there for the
<v Speaker 1>Dave and Busters. But yeah, excuse me again. It was
<v Speaker 1>a unanimous decision from the city. But then when they
<v Speaker 1>started building it, they were like, wait a second. The
<v Speaker 1>neighborhood came out and was.
<v Speaker 2>Like hold on the power. Yeah, not today.
<v Speaker 1>So the neighbors complained about it, and they said that
<v Speaker 1>it was its massive size. They don't like that heavy
<v Speaker 1>commercial footprint that would destroy the local neighborhood character and
<v Speaker 1>really the traffic congestion. I mean, the neighborhood showed up
<v Speaker 1>in full four good for them to debate this decision,
<v Speaker 1>and it was overturned. Yes, Davenbusters is no longer going
<v Speaker 1>to build its new store there. They withdrew their plans.
<v Speaker 2>Now we're taking our ski boss somewhere else, which.
<v Speaker 1>Really goes to show that. You know, this whole scenario
<v Speaker 1>with the BUCkies down south, remember we were talking about
<v Speaker 1>that as you're going down to Colorado Johnstown area, right,
<v Speaker 1>yea well down south, so there.
<v Speaker 2>Isown this is palmer Ridge, right, Yeah, that's down there
<v Speaker 2>Jay Town never.
<v Speaker 1>Mind, yeah, something one of those Jay towns. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this is very similar to that because you know the
<v Speaker 1>BUCkies folks, they wanted to set up a gas station
<v Speaker 1>down there as you make your way to the springs,
<v Speaker 1>and the people in that area was like, we don't
<v Speaker 1>want to look at a big beaver as we're just
<v Speaker 1>looking at our mountains, Like that's going to ruin everything
<v Speaker 1>around the monument. Monument, thank you monument.
<v Speaker 2>That wasn't a word at all. A lot of times
<v Speaker 2>they just come on, I'm like, where's Larkspur. It's down there.
<v Speaker 2>I think it was near Larkspur.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe it was an L word.
<v Speaker 1>All that area.
<v Speaker 2>All that is is what I was looking for.
<v Speaker 1>Not today, Not today, Jeremy.
<v Speaker 2>Oh boy, I gotta stop huffing paint park before I
<v Speaker 2>start the show.
<v Speaker 1>You're so much fun, it really is. But yeah, so
<v Speaker 1>this David Busters, I mean, if it's proven anything, it's neighbors.
<v Speaker 1>If you don't like something, get together, I mean strengthen numbers. Right,
<v Speaker 1>And that's kind of what they're saying with this whole
<v Speaker 1>David Busters saying it was because everyone came to the
<v Speaker 1>town meeting. Everyone said they didn't like it, and they
<v Speaker 1>can't ignore everybody, right, that's right, monument. And then what
<v Speaker 1>does the poor air quality mean for your workout?
<v Speaker 2>Hot out?
<v Speaker 1>The air quality is crappy and experts are saying you
<v Speaker 1>should do those outdoor workouts inside. So the well, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but like for me, I go and run outside. Am
<v Speaker 1>I just supposed to run around park Meadows mall?
<v Speaker 2>I say treadmills, I say.
<v Speaker 1>Dirty red mills. I hate that.
<v Speaker 2>I got home from work yesterday and I go, hey,
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna go out for a quick run. Yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna go pop off nine ten miles.
<v Speaker 1>Nine ten miles.
<v Speaker 2>You're crazy, man. So I went outside and I went
<v Speaker 2>for my run, and I was probably ten minutes into it,
<v Speaker 2>and I stopped running, and I go, this was a
<v Speaker 2>bad idea. And that's exactly what I told my wife
<v Speaker 2>when I walked in the door, I go, that was
<v Speaker 2>a bad idea I did. It was one hundred degrees.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't look at the temp. It was one hundred degrees.
<v Speaker 2>I had on black shorts, black ball cap and a
<v Speaker 2>black T shirts.
<v Speaker 1>Well, you weren't listening to anybody worry.
<v Speaker 2>And the smoke was so bad by the time I
<v Speaker 2>got home, I was like, oh my god, it tasted
<v Speaker 2>in my throat like I had smoked a pack of
<v Speaker 2>Marble reds.
<v Speaker 1>Well that's what they're saying, like everything. So that's kind
<v Speaker 1>of the effects of all this.
<v Speaker 2>Smoke for people.
<v Speaker 1>And did you know also that twenty to seventy percent
<v Speaker 1>of people who are living with asthma are undiagnosed. And
<v Speaker 1>it isn't until things like this happened. Wow, you really
<v Speaker 1>start to realize it. Okay, bad air quality mixed with
<v Speaker 1>physical exertion could cause a lot of those FLA. So
<v Speaker 1>that's why they're saying, like, you know, keep an eye
<v Speaker 1>out for any prolonged chest tightness or trouble breathing. Is
<v Speaker 1>that I go because when you exercise like that's when
<v Speaker 1>these asthma effects really start to you know, See somebody,
<v Speaker 1>remember if you are a gym goerzo all.
<v Speaker 2>I gotta get through details.
<v Speaker 1>If you are a gym goer, expect your gym to
<v Speaker 1>be a lot busier.
<v Speaker 2>Right now, I woke.
<v Speaker 1>Out with actually going inside as you should. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>if you suffer from any kind of breathing stuff COPD,
<v Speaker 1>if you have asthma, you know it was sign stay
<v Speaker 1>out Wars.
<v Speaker 2>It's not.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, there's hype. That's what's up.
