<v Speaker 2>and you know what, we sat around, we had hot tea.

<v Speaker 3>We caught up and I gotta tell you, it was

<v Speaker 3>a great night.

<v Speaker 2>We laughed, had we had moments when we had tears

<v Speaker 2>coming down our eyes because we were laughing so much

<v Speaker 2>about stories and just things going on in our lives.

<v Speaker 2>And you know the best part the next day there

<v Speaker 2>was a text thread going back and forth and everyone was.

<v Speaker 3>Like, we don't feel like crape now, we feel fantastic.

<v Speaker 2>It's amazing, isn't it amazing When you don't drink a lot,

<v Speaker 2>you have a great time, you're hanging with good people,

<v Speaker 2>and you don't feel like crap for the next two days. Yeah, No,

<v Speaker 2>I was up peeing about nine times.

<v Speaker 5>everyone has said that to me. I got so many

<v Speaker 5>messages that were like, wait, you've never ridden the light rail.

<v Speaker 5>light rail. I've just never done it. But we went

<v Speaker 5>to a concert out at Fiddler's on Friday night, the

<v Speaker 5>Sublime concert with three eleven and Slightly Stupid Nice.

<v Speaker 3>Just got a little less lame.

<v Speaker 5>But I know, yeah, I rode the light rail. Was

<v Speaker 5>pretty awesome. But it was the first time I ever

<v Speaker 5>wrote it, and I was just like, you know, I'm

<v Speaker 5>gonna make a video, and I sure did and it

<v Speaker 5>was just like it was fun.

<v Speaker 3>What'd you think of it?

<v Speaker 5>It was clean, it was nice and like got me

<v Speaker 5>from A to B super quick, like works just like

<v Speaker 5>We got on it Lincoln, so the very South, and

<v Speaker 5>then we drove it up to a rapa hose, so

<v Speaker 5>not too many stops because we just went up to Fiddler's.

<v Speaker 5>Like I tell you what. So we rode the light

<v Speaker 5>rail up to a rapp a hose and we walked

<v Speaker 5>to Fiddler's. We watched the entire show for some reason

<v Speaker 5>at that show man, I don't know if it's all

<v Speaker 5>that walking or all that screaming, but I sure was hungry.

<v Speaker 5>So then we walked from Fiddler's over to shake Shack,

<v Speaker 5>and then we walked from Shake Shack back to the

<v Speaker 5>light rail station, and then we rode the light rail

<v Speaker 5>back to my friend Violet's house, and then we walked

<v Speaker 5>back to violence house. So we did shake tuble walking,

<v Speaker 5>a lot of walking, but it was nice.

<v Speaker 3>It was a good I'm glad to hear it went well.

<v Speaker 5>And I've never made my way around a concert like

<v Speaker 5>that with the light rail as my transportation.

<v Speaker 3>So I will do that again.

<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so I had it was two and a half

<v Speaker 2>years or whatever because I been transferred down there. Of

<v Speaker 2>writing the light rail back and forth from that college

<v Speaker 3>You have a lot, and I vowed to never be

<v Speaker 3>on it again. It did well.

<v Speaker 2>I don't want to bash the light rail, but you know,

<v Speaker 2>there was some clientele on there that I was just

<v Speaker 2>uncomfortable with on numerous occasions. And it's just a lot,

<v Speaker 2>you know, I'm a bit of a germophobe, and there

<v Speaker 2>was at times, you know, especially when schools starting, schools

<v Speaker 2>letting out works, you know, going and letting out.

<v Speaker 3>There's just a lot of body on body action in there.

<v Speaker 3>I was wasn't it comfortable.

<v Speaker 3>Just a lot of rubbing against each other. You have

<v Speaker 3>people urinating on it, which was me, but no, so

<v Speaker 2>right or left or whatever and somebody's belly was like

<v Speaker 2>days ago. He had the best one that he told me, Uh, sadly,

<v Speaker 2>he had a little niece passed away in his family.

<v Speaker 3>So they had a funeral for the niece and everything.

<v Speaker 2>And at the funeral, they I think she was like

<v Speaker 2>six years old or something like that, five five, maybe.

<v Speaker 3>It was five, I don't remember. Anyway, they released five red.

<v Speaker 2>Balloons up into the sky at the funeral because she

<v Speaker 2>loved balloons and she loved the color red, he said,

<v Speaker 2>no joke. The uh next five days at her house,

<v Speaker 2>at the niece's mom's house, every day a balloon landed

<v Speaker 2>in their yard. It was a red balloon, so it's

<v Speaker 2>almost like the red balloons went up in the air,

<v Speaker 2>the wind caught them, whatever. But every day for the

<v Speaker 2>next five days, a red balloon landed somewhere in their yard.

<v Speaker 5>That just came my whole body chills.

<v Speaker 3>Wild, isn't it. I was like, shit, Ap, you're making

<v Speaker 3>that up.

<v Speaker 2>He's like, oh no. And it got to the point

<v Speaker 2>like we're on the fourth and fifth day, like they

<v Speaker 2>were waiting to see, like where are they at what time?

<v Speaker 3>What's it happened? When are they going to land where?

<v Speaker 2>And sure enough he said, they got pictures every day,

<v Speaker 2>five different days of these balloons that landed in the yard,

<v Speaker 2>us from the great beyond.

<v Speaker 3>Isn't that a wild story? It's just so.

<v Speaker 5>Sweet and heartwarming for such a situation that's heavy and

<v Speaker 5>just impossible to deal with. So yeah, I love that

<v Speaker 5>those parents were able to have a little love sent

<v Speaker 5>back to them.

<v Speaker 5>with their fathers, and my dad was a huge Spider

<v Speaker 5>Man fan, and so the fact that this movie's come

<v Speaker 5>out and it's so big this year makes me think

<v Speaker 5>of him a lot. But there was a little kid

<v Speaker 5>in a Rockies jersey and purple hair, and he had

<v Speaker 5>Spider Man shoes on right in front of me, and

<v Speaker 5>immediately it made me think of my dad. So even again,

<v Speaker 5>we're talking about signs where you know, you just can't

<v Speaker 5>help but think of them, and you know, that entire day,

<v Speaker 5>I just like was just brought to tears with that

<v Speaker 5>thought of those you know, little Spider Man shoes lighting

<v Speaker 5>up in front of me, because it really made me

<v Speaker 5>think of my dad and really put a smile on

<v Speaker 5>my face. So but Yeah, those things happen all the

<v Speaker 5>time with him.

<v Speaker 2>my Facebook because I posted about this over the weekend.

<v Speaker 3>She says, yes, I totally have one.

<v Speaker 2>She says, my dad passed away about a month ago,

<v Speaker 2>but we had a camera going in his room because

<v Speaker 2>they were keeping an eye on him, sounds like, and

<v Speaker 2>she said, this was his pillow the next day and

<v Speaker 2>there's actual some like ring cam footage and I hit

<v Speaker 2>play and.

<v Speaker 3>It looks like the pillows were all propped up bed

<v Speaker 2>Come nighttime, the ring cam kicked on for some reason

<v Speaker 2>and the pillow kind of slid down and it looked

<v Speaker 2>like somebody was laying there like sleeping.

<v Speaker 2>And she's like, it looks like my dad was there

<v Speaker 2>for like one final night. WHOA, that's trippy right there.

<v Speaker 13>except for on the weekends. And one night I was

<v Speaker 13>dead asleep. I woke up and I looked and I

<v Speaker 13>saw this like white figure floating above me, and it

<v Speaker 13>kind of startled me a little bit, and I knew

<v Speaker 13>it was him because he then like put his hands

<v Speaker 13>like on his cheek and like tipped his head, like

<v Speaker 13>telling me it's okay, just go back to sleep, because

<v Speaker 13>he never wanted me to be scared or anything. And

<v Speaker 13>what was also really crazy is my father was in

<v Speaker 13>a wheelchair from the time I was fourteen days old,

<v Speaker 13>and here he was standing, and so that was that

<v Speaker 13>was that was cool. But I just knew it was him.

<v Speaker 17>I felt it was.

<v Speaker 13>Him just telling me it's it's it's okay, you don't

<v Speaker 13>need to be scared and go back to sleep.

<v Speaker 18>And another heavy one, Mindy's I can tell by your

<v Speaker 18>voice you're like still like kind of choked up and

<v Speaker 18>it's kind of an intense feeling for you.

<v Speaker 17>Yeah, it is pretty well.

<v Speaker 13>day lab named Dixie, and she unfortunately passed away from

<v Speaker 13>bone cancer. Well, my husband had fallen asleep on the

<v Speaker 13>couch and in the middle of the night he woke

<v Speaker 13>up and he felt her laying on him.

<v Speaker 2>And there's all sorts of paranormal activity going on with

<v Speaker 2>the manby. We got to hit a couple more calls

<v Speaker 17>Well, unfortunately three of my sisters had passed away, and

<v Speaker 17>they all came back and flickered my kitchen lights.

<v Speaker 3>Pretty like quickly after they passed a week?

<v Speaker 17>Yeah. So the first time it happened was when my

<v Speaker 17>sister passed away from cancer and the lights were like

<v Speaker 17>flippering for about a week in my kitchen and I'm like, huh,

<v Speaker 17>I think I might be hurt. And then my second sister,

<v Speaker 17>we knew she was going to pass soon, and so

<v Speaker 17>I said, hey, you know, Sarah flickered the lights. Go

<v Speaker 17>ahead and flicker the lights when you, you know, get across

<v Speaker 17>and tell us that you're okay. I didn't tell anyone.

<v Speaker 17>That was a conversation between me and her. And the

<v Speaker 17>next day I was staying home from work and my kids,

<v Speaker 17>who were like five and seven, I'm running upstairs my mom, Mom,

<v Speaker 17>there's a ghost. The lights are flickering really crazy in

<v Speaker 17>the kitchen. And I was like what And I was like, well,

<v Speaker 17>that's just your aunt Wendy. She's just telling us she's okay.

<v Speaker 17>Oh okay, that no big differ. She loved so she

<v Speaker 17>loved holidays.

<v Speaker 4>Yeah, and she then So.

<v Speaker 17>That was early November. Then Thanksgiving Day they flickered for

<v Speaker 17>like twenty minutes and not just like the did, but

<v Speaker 17>like sentences and like bright and then low, like the

<v Speaker 17>light's never easy. And then also on Christmas Day. So

<v Speaker 17>then I videotaped it, so I've got video of this

<v Speaker 17>conversation that you know, she was having with us. I

<v Speaker 17>just don't speak flickering light.

<v Speaker 3>So you got to send that to us. I want

<v Speaker 3>to see it. I want to see that too. Absolutely.

<v Speaker 17>Yeah, it's just incredible. You know, it made me like

<v Speaker 17>I don't know, I believe some stuff, but it was

<v Speaker 14>Well, my father had fallen ill in the early nineteen eighties.

<v Speaker 7>And his health was really going downhill. And he passed

<v Speaker 7>away on Labor Day weekend in nineteen eighty one, and

<v Speaker 7>we were faced with having to wait a little while

<v Speaker 7>to do the burial because of the holiday. But on

<v Speaker 7>September ninth, we had his memorial Mass and everything else,

<v Speaker 7>and I got home to my folks house and my backyard.

<v Speaker 7>Folks yard was a huge garden, and my dad took

<v Speaker 7>so much pride in it, and fruit trees and everything else.

<v Speaker 8>And shortly before he.

<v Speaker 14>Died, this little tiny peach tree in the backyard had

<v Speaker 14>a single peach on it, and it's gotten bigger and

<v Speaker 14>bigger and bigger, and my dad had admired it and

<v Speaker 14>watched it and everything else. So when we got home

<v Speaker 14>from the memorial service, the peach had fallen onto the ground.

<v Speaker 14>It sent me a message kind of like, you know,

<v Speaker 14>it's time, and uh, you know, I'll always remember that

<v Speaker 14>very much, John.

<v Speaker 3>I was kind of hoping there was a bite out

<v Speaker 3>of the beach.

<v Speaker 2>That is very sweet, though the peach was ready, you know,

<v Speaker 2>the peach had fallen.

<v Speaker 15>going going upstairs, back and forth down the hallway, and

<v Speaker 15>I hollered. I was like, Grandpa stop. And I didn't

<v Speaker 15>being dead serious. And then the next morning, whenever I

<v Speaker 15>woke up, I heard it again and I ran upstairs

<v Speaker 15>because I was like, man, somebody's got to be here,

<v Speaker 15>and nobody's there, like the house is completely empty. I'm

<v Speaker 15>the only one there. I was like, oh no, I

<v Speaker 15>can't even do this, and like nope. And then I

<v Speaker 15>told my MoMA. I was like, Hey, I'm going to

<v Speaker 15>go back to my apartment. I can't. I can't say

<v Speaker 15>here like this. I can't do it.

<v Speaker 3>Wow. Do you guys hear it anymore?

<v Speaker 15>She hears it every night, literally every night to this day,

<v Speaker 15>to this day, dude, And she always talks to her

<v Speaker 15>dad and stuff. Wait all the time. She'll even and

<v Speaker 15>the the walking up and down the hallway, and then

<v Speaker 15>she'll video her talking to her dad and stuff. And

<v Speaker 15>there's also she believes that there's this blue jay that

<v Speaker 15>thinks that's her dad saying hi as well too.
