In the dark, I play my dream.
Thermal water flows like sweet streams.
I'm the daddy breath, the know-how's deep.
Great in the world,
I guess I'm meant to be.
All my hopes are P-I-O-P, I'm the king.
There's a love in everything.
Bring a change.
Welcome to episode four,
seven and six of the permaculture pimp
cast where pimp stands for permaculture is
my passion.
The only pimp cast on this earth that
discusses permaculture preparedness,
practical living and occasionally
prostitutes.
Where we find out.
Oh, well, here we are.
Happy Monday to everybody out there.
Well,
it's not so happy for some people on
this earth right now.
This episode, as always,
brought to you by the Sovereign Health
Summit.
That's going to be October twenty seventh
through the thirty first TPC will get you
five percent off.
And if you want to be there in
person, it's going to be in Harmony,
North Carolina.
If you want to be there virtually, well,
we got that option to look with all
the crazy stuff going on in the world.
And in my front porch talk yesterday,
I kind of
I can't believe how many people, um,
I'll come to that in a minute.
Anyway, my red light.com BB,
will get you off of any single item.
And then any bundled item,
you can get off with BB.
So go check that out.
All right.
So we're going to jump right into farm
news, but how you doing son?
No, pretty good.
How about, how about you?
Man, I'm in this room.
You can see the door open right now.
It's as hot as two rats in a
wool sock up in here.
I don't know why today.
I don't know why.
I mean,
I've been going at a hundred miles an
hour all day sweating like nobody's
business.
And I jumped on the PEMF mat right
before.
I mean,
that's why we were a little bit late
getting going.
I was like, man.
okay there was something i smelled this
morning when your mom and i were out
doing chores and for some reason i just
i don't know um been off a little
bit so you know i took some um
you know some uh stuff from brian artist
and i took some of that my chronic
nose spray my chronic silver nose spray
which always seems to really comes in
handy when you need it so um i
definitely right that smell that came in
was it right before a rain
Uh, no, it was,
it was after a rain,
I suppose it was wet this morning.
So I don't know when it rained.
Why did you smell something on,
on your end?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Last, uh, it was last week.
It was Friday.
Cause it was, uh,
the day the rain came a day early.
We were supposed to get rain on Saturday
and ended up coming Friday,
but right before it rained Friday,
we weren't supposed to,
there was no forecast of getting rain
Friday.
It came by a complete surprise to us.
Maybe not the weather people,
but it was a surprise to us.
Um,
but there was this fog that rolled in
before the rain.
Keep in mind, this is like four PM.
It's not like it's bright early in the
morning and it makes sense to have fog.
Yeah.
This is like four PM and I'm driving
into D cab and there's like this fog
rolling through, uh,
and then it rained after that.
It was weird.
But the fog smelled like, uh,
some sort of industrial exhaust,
like not straight up car exhaust,
but like,
I can't pin it,
but it smelled like some sort of
industrial exhaust.
That's pretty much what I've been smelling
too.
So it's blowing my mind.
I mean, in this morning,
we had that same thing.
We had the fog during the time when
it should have already been kind of
burning off because it was already off.
And then all of a sudden it rolls
in.
Although weird things can happen in the
mountains.
I mean, you know,
you got microclimates everywhere.
But yeah, I smelled...
I guess what you're describing there is
about what I smelled as well.
Folks,
they're trying to spray us down like
roaches.
I mean, that's exactly what's happening.
Anyway,
I want to give a shout out to
everybody in the chat right now.
I guess not everybody got the memo that
we're going to be doing it exclusively on
this PimpCast channel and then also over
on the Rumble channel for those that are
so inclined.
Anyway, yeah, Nancy, wow,
you got blood in the garden this morning?
Oh, my.
Yeah.
Mosquitoes are grateful.
Well, let's not do too much of that.
All right.
So anyway, farm news going on around here.
Well,
I think I just talked about the obvious
thing.
Anyway, son, I mean,
just to kind of complete that thought,
I mean, I smelled that stuff,
and for some reason,
I just couldn't put one foot in front
of the other in a way that I
normally do.
Ever since following Morley's protocol,
I've been absolutely saying that I have
unbelievable amounts of energy.
That's not a problem.
one bit but today smelling whatever that
was i think it kind of put me
on my heels and then of course there
was a phone call that i had that
your mom seems to think might have
affected me negatively but maybe maybe not
as much as she thinks or maybe it
does i don't know but anyway i've just
felt like i missed a i missed a
i'm just not walking with one foot in
front of the other anyway what's going on
around here you know plenty of cucumbers
pears are coming around
And boy, do I love pears.
Although Asian pears aren't exactly my
favorite.
I love Anjou pears, but the Asian,
you know what?
I eat for performance these days.
And if it's coming from the ground,
our ground in particular, believe me,
I'm eating stuff off the farm every single
day.
And everything we don't produce that I
want, I'll get from the farmer's market.
So that's how I'm doing it.
Especially the more and more that comes
out every single day.
Like, you know,
I wasn't in the habit of buying too
much of it,
but that bagged stuff that you get in
the store.
You know,
there was a story not long ago.
That the garbage, yeah,
the bag lettuce and stuff like that.
Even if it's organic, I mean, you know,
they're finding out that it's being
sprayed down with some of the most awful
things in the world.
So you want to stay from that,
but I'm like, okay, well,
we're producing plenty of it right here.
I don't need to buy that anyway,
but a lot of people do.
So, um,
every day I'm trying to eat as much
from here as possible and I'll come into
a, another, well,
I'll talk about that during the good news
section about another little incident that
has something to do with that.
So yeah,
your mom planted all the fall stuff out
there, at least a lot of it,
and it's coming up.
So what I'm going to do is weekly
I'm going to hit it with soil saviors
and then come back the following week.
This week is going to be using biocomplete
compost to make an extract out of.
Then I'll go back and forth every week.
So I'm looking to make some other changes
too,
but we'll talk about that when I get
closer to it.
I don't want to put the word out
there and then have everybody jump off.
You know, other things like weed eating,
getting, I mean, this time of year, man,
you are getting lit up the yellow jackets
of all the things to get stung by
man.
I think those are the worst because those
things, you know, I,
and unfortunately I couldn't use urine on
it.
because I didn't have to go.
So anyway,
I used this drawing salve and used that.
Anyway, man, I was swollen on my ear,
back of my neck, everywhere else,
but the one on my back,
it still itches every single day.
So anyway, yeah,
just be careful when you're out there
doing that weed eating.
Here's another thing everybody needs to
stay on top of,
especially in light of some of the news,
and that is checking your generators.
So we had the power go out.
And it seems to have gone out more
frequently than I ever remember.
But anyway, I said, okay, well,
it's a good time for me to break
these generators out,
have them do the old test run.
The old one that I got from,
strangely enough,
I think it was Harbor Freight,
that thing has never let me down once.
And then I got this other one,
this dual fuel one that I got,
I don't know, maybe two years ago.
I got that one from maybe not quite
that long.
I got it from Lowe's,
and I had it special ordered, you know,
so it could run on dual fuel.
And, you know,
couldn't get that thing to start.
Folks,
what I'm saying is stay on top of
your generators and stuff like that.
You need to fire them up from time
to time.
And so I found out, you know,
the battery was completely dead.
So, you know,
that's one more thing to have to deal
with.
So got that off and running and that's
fixed.
But y'all we're having rain.
I know there's record droughts all over
the U S and Canada.
We are getting rain every single day
still.
And it's not,
I know we live in a, you know,
a rainforest of sorts, but you know,
every single day in the summer,
that's pretty unusual for around here.
And August through October is supposed to
be your driest months too.
How about that?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But here it is.
It's coming down every single day.
I'm not complaining because the only
downside is,
and it's not really a downside,
this is the time of the year when
I'd be moving the sheep less frequently,
but I'm still moving them every day
because we're having that kind of growth.
So you've got to stay on top of
it.
So it's a win-win,
lose-lose kind of thing.
I did have another conversation.
I'm not going to say who it was,
and I'm your mom's –
asking me if I can get her to
reach out to me for,
or if I can get her to get
on this show as an interview.
I had a conversation last week.
It was last Friday with an insider who
works with all of the
How do I say this, man?
I'm trying to say it without saying it.
Basically,
you name the biggest names out there in
media,
whether it's on TV or whether it's on...
I would say influencers,
like news influencers.
Yeah, news influencers,
whether in the mainstream or whether the
ones that we think are outside the realm.
Son, she dropped, and believe me,
this is a woman that could easily,
any day of the week,
walk into Fox News anytime she wanted to,
CNN, MSNBC.
That's how connected she was,
and she would set up these interviews.
Well, anyway,
we were talking about her being my agent
for a couple of things that we're doing
regarding the Sovereign Health Summit.
Well, anyway,
she started speaking out against...
What has happened with these influencers
and how all of them,
all the ones you suspect, have all taken,
they're complaining to her,
these influencers,
that they lost fifty percent of their
audience because they took money from
Israel.
That's what she told me.
And it didn't even occur to me because
I had known her.
Well, William, I think you even met her,
too, at the healing for the ages.
Yeah, I won't say who it was,
but you met her out there.
Anyway,
she was absolutely livid at how many of
these people have sold out.
And this is a woman that knows where
all the bodies are buried in this thing.
I mean, a massive mover and shaker.
Well,
when she started speaking up and saying,
hey,
what Israel is doing to our government,
Trump lied about everything.
All of a sudden,
she was persona non grata overnight.
And so she was telling me, look,
I basically lost all my contacts.
You know, the Lord's looking after me,
and I got work doing some other stuff.
But I just want you to know that
everybody, not everybody,
but most of the big names in this
space, and everybody's been wondering,
how are they going along with this?
She says, without a doubt.
And she knows the money.
She knows what they were paid.
She knows who paid them.
The whole nine yards,
I'm trying to get her on this program.
And so that was a very disquieting
conversation when you have this.
I mean,
she didn't say anything I didn't already
suspect.
But when you know somebody who knows where
all the bodies are buried,
that's a whole different ball of wax
there.
But anyway,
I'm going to try to get her on
the show.
And boy,
that will break the flipping internet if
you know the full extent of how many
of these so-called
Reliable influencers are absolutely sold
out, took the check from Israel,
and guess what?
Now it's starting to look like the whole
Charlie Kirk thing,
if it even happened the way they said
it did.
I mean,
there's a lot of funny business that goes
on in that whole thing,
but that whole Charlie Kirk thing might
have been a shot over the bow for
all the people that took their money and
are thinking about jumping ship because
you notice none of them have.
didn't take their money the ones that
didn't take their money could have been a
warning against them as well no no it's
definitely a warning for the ones because
charlie kirk took the money and then all
of a sudden he had a crisis of
conscience and all of a sudden he's saying
no i'm not for this war and i'm
not for genocide i'm not for any of
this stuff and then all of a sudden
he's dead and so it probably shot a
It put a shot over the bow of
everybody else that took their money and
thought, okay, well,
I'm going to wake up now.
That ain't happening because they know
they're going to wind up getting Kirk
themselves.
And then finally,
y'all pray for the people down in Columbia
and Panama was a fact.
Number of others, man.
I mean,
it's a shame that when this sort of
thing happens, you always wonder, Hmm,
you know, secretary of defense,
I think it was bill.
I can't remember his name,
but he was under bill Clinton and,
Reported right there in Stars and Stripes
that we had earthquake weapons back then,
and I still got idiots calling me a
conspiracy theorist.
This was a Secretary of Defense admitting
in Stars and Stripes back in the Clinton
administration.
Bill something, anyway, whoever that was.
Anyway, whenever that stuff happens,
you always wonder, if you're me,
how indigenous was it?
I mean, how legit was it?
Was this a true act of God,
or was this an act of evil man?
You don't know.
But anyway, folks,
it all comes together in a lot of
this stuff.
And that's, you know,
part of what I was getting at yesterday
in that front porch talk,
which a lot of people privately reached
out to me.
Son, you want to talk about.
I put out this front porch talk,
and I even quoted Psalms and a number
of other things out there.
And all of a sudden,
thirty people dropped off.
I mean,
they dropped a thousand people off our
YouTube channel.
A thousand people over the last couple of
months.
And so, yeah,
a thousand people just all of a sudden
said, you know,
I don't like that he's quoting Psalm
eight.
And then all of a sudden they just
jump off.
Okay.
Homestead twins in the house.
What's up, fellas?
All right, son,
let me kick it on over to you.
Well,
since Homestead twins just popped in,
I was meant to ask,
did you ever get a chance to use
that Swiss tool yet?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah,
I still have yet to put it to
work.
I said I was going to use it.
I'm going to get it done.
I'm going to actually use that one and
the one you got me to.
If for no other reason, man, I'm like,
man, I got this nice stuff, man.
I really don't want to mess it up.
But I'm going to put it through the
paces, man.
I use a Leatherman every single day.
Use it.
Yeah, I'll make it.
No, I won't lose it, brother.
I will definitely.
You know,
I'm going to dummy cord that thing, man.
All the high-end tools now,
they have places where you can dummy cord
this stuff.
I think I'm going to go ahead and
do that just so I don't lose it.
But, yeah, that thing is a cat's meow.
All right, Sam.
Yeah, well,
I already brought up last week,
last Friday, getting that unexpected rain.
What was odd, though,
was like Friday night,
it kept it kept storming.
It was storming pretty bad.
In fact,
it was storming pretty bad before the rain
even came.
Like there was wind and then there was
lightning and the wind was pretty intense.
And yeah,
it was it was and there was quite
a bit of lightning as well.
And the lightning,
the whole lightning thing is weird now,
too.
It's it's like lasting longer.
and like uh comes back too so like
the the thunder rumbles last longer much
longer and then it's like they're they're
going out the sound is going out and
then the sound starts it's like it hits
something and comes back and then like
reverberates for a very very long time
longer than i had ever noticed it before
um but and then there was a weird
fog that came in at four p.m right
before the storm hit and all that stuff
anyway midnight
The power goes out and this is after
the storm is done.
It's done.
Raining is done.
Storming all that power goes out.
And then it didn't come back on for
like another twelve to thirteen or so
hours afterwards,
even though like the storm was already
done.
And then the power went out.
They said it was I think the power
company said like tree interaction or tree
interference or something like that.
It was weird.
Anyway,
it was odd that the power went out
after the storm and the storm itself was
just odd.
And then somebody described the smell of
the exhaust.
That smell, uh, it was at Jerry said,
it smells like a combination of burned
rubber, smoking brakes and diesel exhaust.
And I, yeah, I think that's,
and then plus if you add in just
a little bit of like herbicide to it,
like that herbicide smell after like a
bunch of farms get done spraying,
you can kind of get that metallic smell
almost in the back of your sinuses.
You got that smell with that fog as
well.
Uh,
Um, other than that,
still garden producing tomatoes and
peppers and,
and cucumbers and things like that.
I need to go ahead and start clearing
stuff out and get ready for the fall
garden.
It's just a little bit early to actually
like plant the fall garden just yet.
Uh, like right now,
if you look at the gardening app and
you look at zone eight, a, uh,
there ain't a whole lot that you're
planting right now, uh, for zone eight, a.
And if you're unaware, Garden A-T-E,
all one word,
is one of the best gardening apps you
can get.
It tells you exactly what to plant and
when to plant, how to plant it.
It takes away all the guesswork of
gardening.
We're not sponsored by it at all.
It's just a really good gardening app.
I highly recommend getting it.
What else has happened?
Got my phones fixed.
So the right phone is the right number
now.
Everything's sorted out on that.
Did a test run earlier today.
So now we're good to go.
That's fixed and all that stuff.
Wife is pregnant.
So the first trimester, you know,
hormones and sickness and stuff like that
kind of working our way through.
So while she was taking a nap earlier
today,
I took the baby to the park and
Got to play at the park for a
while until some jerk came over,
started mowing,
and he started mowing right next to us.
They've got this big old park.
It's got baseball fields.
It's got an actual park.
And yeah,
he started mowing right next to us.
And then it's like that whole awkward
moment of like the boondocks,
the almost N-word moment.
Yeah.
Because the reason I'm about to have one
of those moments is because my
two-year-old daughter is here.
And the reason I'm not having the moment
is because my two-year-old daughter is
here.
So there were a lot of thoughts that
came through my mind all within like a
quarter of a second.
So we ended up just having to leave
the park,
which was fine because we had been there
for maybe two hours at that point anyway.
But other than that,
that's a pretty good day so far.
That's what's going on here, Dad.
Yeah,
it's funny because it's funny you bring up
the jerks out there because I'm seeing
more and more of them.
For example,
I had to run to the grocery store
yesterday.
Your mom, I mean,
she's been harvesting every single day.
And so, man, she I mean,
you name it, man.
She's been making like she makes this
fermented salsa, which is off the chain.
If she makes it the way I like
it.
I don't know what it is with women,
but they all seem to love vinegar potato
chips and stuff like that, man.
And the worse the vinegar tip flavor,
the more they love it.
And your mom is kind of that way
when it comes to fermented stuff.
So I'm like, okay,
let's get a fermentation on this thing,
but let's not get this thing where it's
just turning my head around.
Well, anyway,
I had to go to the store,
and I think I had to get a
couple of onions or something that we
didn't have.
And I didn't pick up at the farmer's
market, but anyway.
she ends up,
I ended up going there to go get
her some onions.
And while I'm there, I kid you not,
I took a picture of it.
I was going to put it on X,
but I just got finished doing a front
porch video about, you know,
it just didn't,
the timing just didn't seem right.
There is a guy,
there is a guy parked sideways.
And when you saw this idiot come out,
I was sitting there waiting.
I mean,
he just happened to come out right after
that.
He's parked sideways.
And I'm like, who does this?
Who does this?
I mean,
you see many double parkers out there,
but this idiot is sideways there.
As soon as he comes out the store
and he's going up there and he's pushing
it, I'm like, okay,
exactly the person I thought.
In so many ways,
and this ain't always true,
but a lot of times,
the bigger the truck,
the bigger the idiot.
And that's funny you say that in new
Boston Walmart,
there's this guy who chronically does
that.
Like if you bring it up to anybody
who lives around here, like, Hey,
have you guys seen that guy?
Quadruple park at the Walmart.
He's got this big old, it's big.
But it's like a busted down.
It looks like a turd on wheels,
a massive turd on wheels.
And he quadruple parks this thing.
And it's so busted down and ugly.
It like you see it and you don't
even get mad.
You just start laughing like this guy
thinks he can't scratch this thing.
Can't have anybody park next to this
thing.
He quadruple parks every single time I see
this truck there.
I've been seeing more and more of it,
though.
I mean, I've been seeing it.
It's like everybody forgot what the
passing lane on the interstate is for.
Now, I know a lot of hood rats.
It's the in thing now among hood rats.
when they're on the interstate to sit here
and get alongside a rig and just stay
there so nobody can pass.
It's like watching a hood rack cross a
crosswalk.
Same exact thing.
They'll actually slow down.
Okay, well,
some people are going to wind up watching
Death Race,
and then we're probably going to have some
different outcomes here because people are
honestly getting to the point.
I mean,
everybody is is hurting in a big way
you know when it comes to the cost
of everything out there and people i think
are going to start losing their cool when
it comes to a lot of the dumb
stuff that these idiots are doing like i
said you know just i mean they're going
to get run off the road they're going
to get ran over all this stuff is
going to happen man if things keep
spiraling out of control and judging by
what i'm seeing man i ain't seeing no
improvement so um
Yeah,
just make sure you get the right hood
rat if you decide to do that sort
of thing.
All right, anyway, Bond Charge,
if you want some of these ballin' blue
light blockers that William and I got on,
Bond Charge,
fifteen percent off with promo code PERMA.
William's got it right there on the
screen.
Also, if you're me,
I'm G'd up from the feet up.
Every single time I do a podcast,
I'm on a grounding mat that goes out
to an independent ground.
For those that didn't hear me talk about
it before, look, y'all,
i've been a journeyman electrician for
almost thirty years i'm trying to tell you
do not plug these grounding mats into your
outlet i don't care what they tell you
do not do it buy the cord the
forty foot or sixty foot cord whatever it
is where you can put it out the
window you can still shut the window it's
a very small monofilament cord put it out
the window ground it on its own do
not put it otherwise i mean
You got such dirty power.
Now,
I'm not going to go through all the
what-fors and how-tos on what makes dirty
power,
but basically all these little devices
like your phones and everything else
plugged in,
it's screwing up the sine wave.
Anyway, this power is not the
I wouldn't trust it.
Anyway, spend the extra money,
get the long cord and with the little
one foot grounding rod on there and ground
your stuff separately.
Do not put it into your system.
I can't emphasize that enough.
Anyway, if you want one redemption shield,
ten percent off with promo code perma.
And then finally, soil savers.
Anybody wanting some of that?
We got the link down below.
All right.
So let me get on to the good
news.
Now,
everybody's going to think this ain't
necessarily good news,
but I'm calling it good news because I
love it when people screw over consumers
and they've been doing it for a long,
long time and they get busted because now
you can go out there and find something
that's worth it.
So check this out, son.
Your mom,
it was one of the first things she
told me this morning.
And you know those chips I like so
much, those Siete chips?
Yeah.
Turns out them, let me see here,
Good Health, Better Goods, Simply,
Boulder Canyon, Jackson's, Veggie.
I mean,
all these ones claiming that they're made
with avocado oil.
Well,
the University of California in Davis
recently did a study and found out that
forty eight out of the fifty four products
claiming to have avocado oil on the as
a sole ingredient failed the authenticity
test.
And Siete is one of them.
And that burns me up.
I'm a write them a nasty little nasty
gram and ask them if they would like
to come on the show and, you know,
account for themselves,
because there are people out there like me
that
eat their products,
And now all of a sudden I'm finding
out you got some rancid garbage in there
that ain't even avocado oil.
And then the other one, which, man,
I wish I had the name of, oh,
Primal Kitchen.
Used to be owned by Mark Sisson.
I used to use their dressing.
Ain't doing it no more.
I'm going back to Bragg's.
Or I'll just make it myself because it's
not like I don't know how to do
that and make it much better than anything
you can hope to buy.
But anyway, they're one of them too.
So it's really aggravating to me.
And this is why I'm calling this a
good news story,
because anybody that uses these products,
either boycott them,
write them a nasty gram,
let them know what time it is.
And then what was it?
Seventy one percent of all the mayonnaise
is out there.
And one hundred percent of the salad
dressings were inconsistent with authentic
avocado and contaminant.
And they were contaminated with other
oils, everything but avocado oil.
So it's a bunch of greenwashing is what
you get down to that kettle brand.
There's a number of others out there.
I mean, it's kind of,
it's a short list.
Honestly,
when you get down to brass tacks here,
when forty eight out of fifty four,
are you kidding me?
We have only six on the market that
actually, I mean, that are actually legit.
What were the six that were legit?
Did they say?
Yeah, they had them down here.
Man, I find it hard to believe this,
but they're saying products that fully
matched authenticity.
The avocado profile was Grove Avoye Mayo
Sauce, Grove Avoye Garlic Aioli,
and one lot of the lesser evil...
moon onions, onion rings,
and believe this or not,
simply Frito-Lay Tostitos avocado oil
tortilla chips were legit.
Now, Frito-Lay,
you think they're using non-GMO corn?
So pick your poison.
But also,
Frito-Lay is probably doing all the
packaging and probably the food processing
for these other corporations too.
It's not surprising to me that if one
of them fails,
that a bunch of them fail.
Because a lot of them are all,
even though they might be competing what
seems to be competing brands,
they're all produced and processed in the
same facilities and stuff.
That's why you get the packaging on the
back like...
uh,
process in the same facility as like tree
nuts.
And you get the warning that, Hey,
there might be tree nuts or peanuts or
allergens and things like that.
Um, man, that siete though, they're,
they're messing with dad's emotions on
that.
Well, you got that right.
So I'm gonna,
I was sitting here figuring it out.
Okay.
Well,
we got plenty of potatoes that we grew.
Maybe I'll just make my own potatoes if
I want them that bad potato chips or,
uh,
I mean,
that really burns me up in a big
way because there's people out there that
are trying to be as health conscious as
they can.
And you are downright lying.
I'm hoping there's a massive lawsuit and
they all go out of business.
Siete, like you said, and son,
I can speak to that because I've been
an industrial electrician for a long,
long time.
I can't even begin to tell you how
many food manufacturing facilities I've
worked at.
Folks, let me just say this.
There is a reason why I will not
eat a McDonald's hamburger.
I've worked, you know,
there's places like Lopez Food in Oklahoma
City where they make a lot of those
patties.
And when you see how it's made,
or Unilever,
I worked in there outside of Independence,
Missouri.
All that wishbone salad dressing,
all the Lipton tea, all that stuff,
I saw how it's made.
There's a reason why you should never,
ever, ever use any of that junk.
I mean...
Yeah,
I know there's American jobs out there,
but everything they're putting in that
product, I've seen it all.
It's junk.
Now, the manufacturing standards,
I won't say anything against that.
I mean, they're up to snuff on that.
I mean,
there's not rats or anything running
around.
They definitely keep the place clean.
But this is the kind of thing that
absolutely, positively... Yeah,
you ain't lying, son.
It's messing with my emotions in a big
way, but...
You know what the market,
a free market always provides.
So if there's anybody out there that's
enterprising that wants to get in this
space, maybe you start small.
I mean,
there's a lady like Poppy's Popcorn here
in Asheville.
She started off as a,
was just trying to find a good alternative
for her children.
Next thing you know, I mean,
she's selling this stuff in every grocery
store around here and she is absolutely
crazy about her, about her products.
So Nancy says, yeah,
Hammond's Mayo has bioengineered products
and unbelievable.
Now, I wonder if the,
I wonder if the,
those individual companies even knew that
they had tainted oil.
I wonder if they were all buying the
same oil from the same place,
and that manufacturer of the avocado oil
itself is the one that was cutting it
with less good oil or just rancid bad
oil.
I wonder if they were cutting it,
selling it to these other people,
selling it as avocado oil,
and then the manufacturers themselves
maybe never even tested it.
I don't know how often they do test
it,
but I wonder if they even knew that
they were getting crappy oil.
Well, that's exactly why you should have,
you know,
I remember working at Rainbow Bread in,
it was also in Oklahoma City,
worked in their factory.
And before any bread goes out of that
factory, they have these massive magnets.
that if there's any shards of any metal
of any of it, I mean,
it'll pull it right through the bread and
the bread gets chucked off to the side.
I mean, there is a reason you have,
you know, quality control.
I've worked as a quality control guy in
the electrical trade.
QA, QC,
there's a reason why you got all that.
So there should be people,
they got the kind of money where you
should be doing testing,
batch testing to find out whether or not,
and when you look at this study,
they didn't just get one bag off the
shelf.
They did it for months and months and
months.
So they can't even claim they can't.
Yeah, they did this over.
I mean,
they were like buying another bag every
month and they knew they had different
lots.
So they were well aware or they should
have been that the product they were
selling was complete garbage.
They did a Walmart.
They did a Walmart.
Like, yeah,
go ahead and go ahead and keep shoplifting
until we get that felony charge.
And then you won't be shoplifting anymore.
There you go.
There you go.
So the next good news story and folks,
I'm saying that's good news because I
mean,
You know what?
It had me over here figuring out how
do I make my own potato chips?
I mean, I got plenty of potatoes.
Masa chips are made with tallow.
See, I've heard about those masa chips.
I've had another one where these chips
were made out of beef tallow.
It was another brand.
And I bought like ten bags of these
things online.
They were the worst tasting chips I ever
had in my life.
Now,
I've heard Tucker Carlson and a number of
others say that these masa chips were
really, really good.
i might have to give them a shot
i mean beef tallow i can do that
but you know that's what we used to
do when i worked in the butcher shop
we had a little place out back we'd
sit here and spiral cut these uh potatoes
and then cook them in the beef tallow
that we just got off of the animals
we processed so
I mean, this can be done.
There was a time where all of McDonald's
fries were done in beef tallow.
And folks, yeah,
I'm going to have to look into that
masa chips, man.
They weren't on this list,
so you might have something there.
I'll definitely check them out.
In fact,
let me go ahead and write that down.
Michelle, if you listen,
can you please order some masa chips?
Aren't masa chips just tortilla chips?
Isn't that the same thing?
Yeah, but Siete tortilla chips,
I was buying those.
I mean, is masa the brand of them?
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
Gotcha.
Yeah.
Masa.
Yeah.
That, yeah.
I, I see what you're saying,
but then plan B is, you know,
to do with a lot of upscale places.
I know where I, you know,
get some masa.
I got masa.
I can make some tortillas of my own
and, uh,
all you do is just chop them up
and then deep fry them or something.
Then you got,
you got yourself that there's a lot of
work to go through, but you know, I,
I agree with Michael Pollan.
You should allow to be anything you want.
as long as you make it.
I fully agree with that.
So anyway, I mean, obviously,
I wouldn't make a habit of going on
an all-sugar diet,
but I think you get the point.
All right, so the next good news here,
plant diversity in diet shifts gut
bacteria in six weeks, this study finds.
Okay, the reason why I'm bringing this up,
I just had my gut studied a little
bit ago.
And one of the issues that was in
there, and I'm hopefully,
I'm working with a guy from a company
called Kraft Microbiotics.
Kraft Micro, man, whatever it is.
Anyway, this guy took my test.
And he gave me the analysis of it.
And it turns out that I have like
a dreadfully low number,
or at least back when I did the
test,
a dreadfully low number of bifidobacteria.
That is very, very, very, very important,
y'all.
Bifidobacteria in your gut for everything.
So we're working on,
and so I'm looking at ways in my
diet to increase my bifidobacteria.
And there's a number of things you can
do.
Obviously,
diet would help fermented food to a
certain extent.
Make sure you get your fiber and all
the stuff you need there.
Check, check, check, check, check.
That's why I wanted to make sure.
Um, I pointed out this study,
plant diversity and diet shifts,
gut bacteria.
So what they did,
they had one group get basically every
color of food to put in a salad
one way or the other.
It didn't matter.
I mean, turmeric, the whole nine yards,
man, he put blueberries.
It didn't matter if it was under the
rainbow, man, they put it in the salad.
And then they had a control group where
they didn't do anything.
And then there was another group where
they gave them pills that were supposed to
help the gut, you know,
with microorganisms.
And far and away,
the natural food by far and away
out-competed all the others.
So the moral to the story is there
is a reason why you fermented food every
single day, y'all.
And this study is basically confirming it.
So look,
your gut truly is your second brain.
You say you got a gut feeling.
Well, that's where it's coming from.
And so you want to stay on top
of that stuff.
Eat fermented food.
I mean,
there's a whole kaleidoscope out there.
It's even going to be light years better
if it's food that you source from your
own property or very close to you,
because then it's going to be more adapted
to you.
Getting stuff that came from a thousand
miles away is not going to be as
helpful to you at all.
So that's why you want to try to
do this stuff.
It's so easy to ferment stuff.
I mean, honestly, folks,
it comes down to putting it in a
jar, crush it up a little bit,
add some salt and water.
That's really all you got to do.
And when it comes from your place,
it's going to be even more power packed.
So that's why I wanted to touch that
article.
And then finally,
this one doesn't have anything to do with
health,
but I am calling it a good news
story.
So top U.S.
general urges the White House to end the
conflict in Iran.
Reports are staying.
So you get the chairman of the Joint
Chief of Staff, Dan Cain.
Yeah,
a lot of people say bad things about
this guy, but you know what?
If we had a Curtis LeMay in there
right now, I mean a complete psychopath.
In fact,
most of the people that were on the
Joint Chiefs of Staff following World War
II were absolute nut job psychopaths.
Absolutely.
And Curtis LeMay, chief among them.
There's a reason why they called him Bombs
Away LeMay.
Yeah,
he was a war genius from the sky.
But, you know, in garrison,
the guy was a complete nut job.
Anyway, I'm glad to hear that.
And this story has been coming out for
a while that General Kane,
which they'll probably make him resign
since this hit the light of day.
He's basically saying, look,
we got no way to continue this war.
I mean,
the world just got a shot over the
bow saying that the United States is all
but helpless because we have no defensive
missiles.
We've used everything up for the most
part.
There is nothing else we can do.
Yeah, it's what it is.
So I'm calling that good news because now
we have somebody in the higher echelons as
the chairman of the Joint Chiefs
that's actually coming out leaking it
somehow to say, look, we're going to,
we're going to send troops over here to
die for what?
How many, how many people do you know,
son that are of draft age that would
almost be put in another meat grinder?
Um, yeah.
And I don't know anybody who's down to
go either.
You know what I mean?
Like with, with after nine,
you knew people who were like, yeah,
let's go.
But with this,
I don't know anybody who's down to go.
You know,
there's always going to be those ones.
I mean,
there's going to be people out there.
If this happens,
I made the prediction on this show.
I said, I will promise you,
mark my words,
if we wind up going to a full-scale
war with boots on the ground over there,
you will find MAGA mothers who will brag
about the fact that their child was
murdered in defense of Israel.
I promise you that will happen.
and they're complete lunatics i mean
apparently you haven't gotten a memo on
what's actually happening over there you
got to quit quit watching the fox news
bubble but mark my words you will see
parents and grandparents that will
absolutely play up the gold star mom thing
for for war that is completely unnecessary
so just hold on to your hat for
that unfortunately i i think i'm going to
be right
Yeah, so anyway,
I'm calling that good news.
We don't have anything from Eric.
I mean,
he's running like a chicken with his head
cut off in a big, big way,
and I can completely understand.
Anyway, EMF rocks.
Look,
I got one of those bags right on
top of my grounding mat,
and I got my feet on it as
we speak.
Look,
we're getting hit thirty ways to Sunday
with all these,
whether it's coming from your phone,
the Wi-Fi, the cell towers,
whatever the case may be,
you're getting hit thirty ways to Sunday.
And so that's one way to help mitigate
the bad stuff that might come to you.
I sleep with these things in my bed
every single night.
EMF rocks,
ten percent off with promo code PERMA.
All right, so I wanted to talk about,
there was a, oh shoot,
there was a podcast just recently.
And they were talking about all the jobs
that were going to go away,
all the things that are going to go
away in the near future.
And believe it or not,
a lot of these white collar jobs, folks,
I hate to tell you this,
but you're going to be on the chopping
block.
I mean,
if you don't get dirty for a living,
if you don't live in a micro video,
if that's not the kind of work you
do,
there's a high probability that whatever
you're doing could be outsourced.
And sadly,
I'm even talking about like the truckers
out there.
Um, these,
that's part of why they want this six
G as part of why they want this
AI.
I mean, they have every,
I heard an interview with Tucker Carlson
talking to kim.com last night.
It was a short interview,
only thirty minutes.
Look,
I don't recommend everybody go listen to
that depending on your temperament or
disposition because this dude brought up
the grimest of all grim possibilities of
where all this AI stuff is going.
So, you know,
I wanted to put to work because they're
talking about all the jobs that are going
to be lost.
But let me tell you about the jobs
that AI can't do and can't do for
the foreseeable future.
So that's what we're going to discuss
right now.
If any kind of clerical thing, you know,
you better be looking for an off ramp
in a big, big way.
Any kind of thing where you think you're
going to be safe,
even a lot of the MDs out there
that thinks MD stands for medical deity,
a lot of these people in the medical
space, guess what?
You're probably going to have one doctor
with an aid of AI doing the work
of maybe twenty of you people.
So maybe doctors aren't so plentiful out
there.
Unless you're a natural doc,
unless you're a naturopath,
unless you're a chiropractor,
But if you're one of these people that
just pushes pills out here, yep,
you're probably going to go by the
wayside.
So right off the bat,
I'm going to bring up, obviously,
the trade that I'm most acquainted with
and the one I know very well,
and that's electrical and mechanical
troubleshooting.
Look, AI can diagnose possibilities.
But still, somebody has to go in there,
run the conduit, pull the wire,
trace it back to the panel,
turn the wrench, find the failure,
and then somehow make the repair.
You've got to have somebody to do all
that.
And when it comes to the electrical space,
I'll tell you what.
There's a whole lot of people out there
that will fool around with plumbing.
There's a whole lot of people out there
that will fool around with carpentry and a
lot of the other trades, painting,
obviously, and a number of others.
But when you got a chance to get
in Kentucky fried,
there's a whole lot of people that are
going to call somebody like me.
And it's not going to be some person
just doing office work.
I mean, whatever the case may be,
you got a problem.
You're going to call somebody that knows
how to physically do this work.
You might, yeah, that person,
whether it's an HVAC person or whatever
the case may be,
might use AI to help you diagnose the
problem.
Lord knows I did it recently on the
freezer in the fridge I had a problem
with.
Helped use AI,
but at the end of the day,
I had to be the one to install
it.
So anyway, that's my number one.
Uh,
my number one is actually a job created
because of AI and it's a AI prompt,
prompt generator.
A prompt is what you type into the
little chat bar.
Uh,
to send it something,
to ask it something or to have it
do something.
That's what the prompt is.
But it's AI is only as powerful as
your prompt for the most part,
like the AI that we have access to.
It's only as powerful as prompt is only
as useful as your prompt.
So if you can't develop a good questions,
I'll just use the word question instead of
prompt.
If you can't develop good questions or
word your questions correctly,
then you're not going to get the answers
that you're trying to find using the chat
GPT.
This is a whole category, like for more,
um,
I would say complicated questions or more
questions that ChatGPT or whatever other
AI might not necessarily want to answer.
correctly um you can that that's like a
whole job or a consultant opportunity that
somebody could do is how to create these
good ai prompts and stuff like that uh
because you can get ai i'm trying to
figure out a way to say this on
youtube um you can get chat gpt to
answer question questions that is told not
to answer or you can get it to
answer it honestly that is told not to
answer honestly
You can get it to do that depending
on your prompt, if you word it correctly.
Like if you make things like a
hypothetical or imaginary or you live in a
world where these categories exist or
these points exist,
then you can get an honest and truthful
answer sometimes.
So keep that in mind.
AI prompt generator.
Your answers are going to be dictated by
how good your prompt is.
And believe it or not, there's a whole...
I mean,
you can take classes on creating AI
prompts and stuff,
like creating good prompts.
Even Mike Adams has gone off on rants
of talking about learning how to create
good prompts for AI.
So on to you, Dan.
I'm going to tell you another big
moneymaker out there.
And a lot of people,
Mike Rowe even talked about this before,
but this is another one of those things
that you're never going to have.
You're never going to be able to have
a mechanical means or a AI to be
able to do it.
And I know there's a lot of enmity
a lot of times between plumbers and
electricians.
I'm not in that camp.
I don't play that game.
But plumbers and pipe fitters,
I'm telling you what,
when a pipe blows up at two a.m.
And I don't care where it is.
You got to have a plumber.
And you don't care how sophisticated AI is
going to be.
And you ain't going to troubleshoot it
with AI.
Got news for you.
Ain't going to happen.
But a plumber is going to go in
there and they're going to get this stuff
lotty-dotty everybody in the fastest.
I mean, when it happens,
you need things done immediately because
you got water or sewage or a combination
of both.
I mean,
I'm also going to throw in there septic
tank people.
I mean, at the end of the day,
if you've got to have somebody come out
and pump your septic,
got to know who it is,
got to know where it is.
I mean, that's not something.
If you'll see something here,
a lot of what I'm going to be
talking about are hands-on jobs.
And I got news for you.
All these jobs pay very well.
And, son, I should point out,
because before we went live here,
I don't know,
about an hour and a half ago,
I was looking at the electrical job board.
Now, I'm a union electrician.
They are begging.
begging for help everywhere in this
country they are absolutely falling over
themselves offering all kinds of
incentives to get somebody to come out
here and go to work
Now,
I don't know what the scale is in
Kansas City,
but I'm guessing somewhere it's probably
fifty, I don't know,
maybe fifty or sixty bucks an hour is
what you get on your check.
And then another, I don't know,
five bucks into your vacation fund or
holiday fund, whatever the case may be.
I mean, you're making nice money.
And even in these times, and of course,
you know,
most of the dopes out there in the
trade are going to turn back around and
just go buy a new truck over and
over and over instead of getting yourself
out of the rat race.
But anyway, plumbers are the same way,
man.
You got a plumbing problem, man.
You're commanding,
especially when this stuff goes off on the
weekends,
because now you're being charged double
time and it ain't like you can wait
an electrical thing.
You might be able to wait till Monday.
Plumbing, you got to get it done now,
nephew.
But anyway,
there are so many jobs right now in
the electrical trade begging for all of
the help they can possibly get so the
jobs do exist.
Yeah.
I mean, my next one,
since we just had one working not too
far away from us, linemen.
AI ain't going to go out there at
midnight to go fix the lines or anything
like that.
Also,
I don't even know how AI would physically
do that.
I mean, I think any kind of trade,
any kind of like physically having to do
something like, OK,
I think one of the arguments of I
saw this on YouTube not too long ago,
somebody saying, oh,
they were making the argument that AI is
actually going to be
taking away from the trades of the,
like the jobs of the tradesmen and stuff
like that.
And they were showing this example of this
three D printer, uh, concrete,
like three D printed concrete for walls of
a house.
But if you zoomed out just a little
bit,
you saw the guy following the printer with
the remote control driving and everything
and troubleshooting it.
One thing that a lot of people don't
understand with these three D printers is
that there's a lot of troubleshooting.
There's a lot of error.
There's a lot of issues with three D
printers, uh,
that they don't show you on whatever
you're looking at,
whether it be video content or podcasts or
audio content, whatever it may be.
They don't really go into detail of how
many times there's troubleshooting and
diagnostics and issues with some of these
three D printers.
They typically just show you,
because unless you're into three D
printing,
that doesn't really mean anything to you.
Typically what they show to you are like
the cool little neat projects that they're
making with the three D printers.
That's just an example of like, um,
like these AI driven machines still need
some sort of technician or maintenance or
operator or something like that to be a
part of it.
So even if AI does take an aspect
of a job,
Chances are with these types of jobs,
there's going to be some new job created
because of that.
So I'm sure there was a similar panic
with carpenters whenever the pneumatic air
gun came out.
They're like, oh, well,
we need a lot less framers now that
we can drive thousands of nails in a
relatively short period of time.
But yeah, there's another safe job.
I guess I got off the rails a
little bit, but linemen.
That's something that AI is nowhere near
taking over.
Yeah, Seek to Find says,
Southern Oregon electrician
apprenticeships have waiting lists.
Good culture out here.
Yeah,
I've worked with a lot of good hands
from out of Oregon,
really capable people out there.
And I love how you guys don't cut
corners.
There's a lot of places.
I mean,
especially the further south you go,
the more they cut corners.
The places up north, man,
they don't play that game.
In fact,
I remember working in Massachusetts one
time,
And they're like, hey, man,
take your time.
Do it right.
We don't play this.
Just throw it up in the ceiling kind
of stuff.
I'm like, well,
you're talking to the right guy, man.
I like the way you roll there.
Homestead twins.
Yeah.
Try to convince your wife to live in
that concrete turd house.
That's exactly what it looks like.
Exactly.
They're going to say, yeah,
I don't think so.
Look, I could also say, you know,
to come full circle because I want to
cover some other things too.
I've covered electricians and plumbers,
but I'm going to say any building trades
or any trade with your hands,
and I'm talking like welding and
fabrication, carpentry,
any kind of construction,
small engine repair,
any of those things an AI cannot do.
But my number three is going to be
This is going to seem pretty self-evident,
but I'm going to say growing food.
At the end of the day, yeah,
AI can tell you through an app or
whatever, hey,
now it's time to plant tomatoes.
Or, hey,
you've got to deal with this pest.
Or you've got this whatever the case may
be, but I'll tell you what,
they can't go out there and pick it.
And I know there are people out there
saying, well, we're getting to the point.
Do you want to eat that stuff?
I mean, what we're finding out,
what we talked about at the top of
the show,
talking about all the nasty stuff that's
going on,
anything that has any tie to Bill Gates,
I don't want to eat it.
So...
I'm talking like growing food in a big,
big way.
You got to deal with pests.
You got to produce an actual harvest that
people can eat.
I've never seen so many people at the
farmer's market as of late.
And so that's a good thing to see.
So I think people are starting to get
the menu.
And by the way, like,
I don't mean to go backwards here,
but also look, y'all mayonnaise.
If you got to have it,
it's pretty darn easy to make.
You just need eggs, oil, and salt,
and a little bit of a lemon and,
And you can make better mayonnaise than
you could ever hope to buy.
So if you're worried about the oil that
they're giving you there,
try to make some of that stuff at
home.
But that takes me right back to growing
food, whether it's value-added products.
Maybe you make a mayonnaise that has
actual legit stuff in there.
You're looking for a business?
Look,
anybody can go out here and make some
potato chips that are legit.
Okay, start craft.
Start small.
Start responsibly.
Use good ingredients.
Let people check it out.
Same thing with the mayo.
I mean,
there is opportunity out here in a big,
big way, and AI can't fill it.
You know,
you guys want a job idea real quick
or just an entrepreneur idea?
Sell regular potato chips.
Don't even change anything about the
potato chips.
Just fill up the bag.
If you fill up the bag,
people will lose their minds and buy your
potato.
They don't even have to taste better.
Just fill up the bag.
That's a good point, man.
That's the thing that's been the
shrinkflation that they got going on has
been burning me up one side and down
the other.
But you know what?
Hey,
that's why I'm saying it's a good news
thing because I'll just start making my
own.
Now,
I will offer a little bit pushback or
I guess refine more on the growing food
part.
So if you're doing the large scale
monocrop system with a lot of automated
machines like the satellite driven
combines and cultivators and stuff like
that,
then that is a job that I could
take over.
But if you're doing responsible
stewardship,
if you're doing responsible animal
husbandry,
That's a job that AI can't take over.
So if you're doing the mining,
that's a job that AI can take over.
If you're doing actual farming and growing
food and building soil and things like
that, that's something AI can't take over.
Um, my next one is again,
something that AI kind of created, but,
uh,
Creating a business or a consultancy or
whatever it may be,
creating something that teaches other
businesses and other companies how to
integrate AI into their business in an
ethical manner.
You were talking about some of the clerk
stuff earlier.
For small businesses especially,
this is before the hiring of a bunch
of other people.
How can I integrate AI to make this
small business more efficient?
Or the small businesses in...
some downtown areas,
like some quaint downtown areas,
how can those businesses use AI to help
keep them in business?
Because the businesses here in DeKalb,
we have technically a downtown,
but I'm sure none of those businesses
downtown are thriving.
I'm quite sure that most of them are
barely making it every single month.
So I wonder if there's a way that
they can integrate AI in order to increase
profits there.
but still remain like ethical and things
like that.
So on to you, Dan.
Yeah, Ken and Amy says, yeah,
AI is not going to move a fence
for my sheep.
Exactly right.
Unless, you know,
the only time I could see that even
work is like William's talking about in a
big CAFO operation.
That's the, now that's a place where,
you know,
where they're doing pigs and chickens and
stuff like that.
And probably to a,
to some degree or another cows in these
feedlots.
Yeah.
AI could absolutely positively do that
sort of thing,
but I don't want to be a part
of that whole system anyway.
So yeah.
Speaking of that, here's another one that,
I mean, son, you were there.
I was trying to give away butcher classes.
Twenty years ago and we couldn't get
anybody to show up.
And now everybody wants one, but you,
you want, I mean,
we're talking about if you were to have
a butcher shop and like here in North
Carolina, you can get state licensure.
It just can't cross the state lines
because,
Well, guess what?
I don't obey unjust laws.
So if you're in Tennessee and you want
to buy something that I produce,
come and get it.
Or, you know,
some of the stuff I do on the
– or maybe I allegedly do stuff on
the side where maybe I process a person's
cow and, you know,
I – you –
I just gave it to you back under,
I borrowed your cow and I just gave
it to you back under plastic.
You know,
there's a bunch of different ways you can
go about this.
I don't obey unjust laws.
I don't care who makes them.
I don't care what the rules are.
Look,
they're listening and recording everything
we say right now.
I don't obey unjust moronic and stupid
laws.
So if you tell me I can't take
this milk across the border, oh, well,
guess I'll be an outlaw.
But that goes right back to butchering and
food preservation.
I mean,
even if all you did was just come
out of retirement long enough to go
process deer during hunting season,
let's say, you know, work out a really,
really awesome way to value add that
product, you know,
summer sausages and things like that.
I'm not a big fan of the things
that come out of those processing houses
because I know what they use in it.
I would rather do it myself,
put legit ingredients in there.
And, you know,
because you want to get that product out
of the door to the customer and
They're using a lot of,
they're cut a lot of corners that I
don't do.
So maybe you go out there and you
become really,
really good at processing animals and you
can do custom butchery and give it back
to them, be an honest butcher,
give them back what they're supposed to.
And there's a whole lot of other things
that you could keep on the back end
of that.
Let's say you process a cow.
Well, there's a whole lot of,
most people do not want the fat coming
off the cow.
I kid you not.
Well,
what were we just talking about a minute
ago?
Huh,
maybe I got a buddy down the road
who has a potato chip business,
and all of a sudden he wants some
beef tallow.
I mean,
the problem is the solution is so many
different ways.
So, yeah,
there's another career out there.
Yeah, it's a little bit bloody,
pun intended.
But at the end of the day, y'all,
we're going to all have to do some
pretty uncomfortable things to put bread
on the table in these times.
Yeah.
My next one.
And because the title of this is Ten
Skills That Would Become More Valuable
Because of AI,
I didn't stick to just jobs.
I thought of skills that might not or
may, depending on how you use it,
that may...
you know, benefit you.
So the next one I have is then
this is like a group of them,
but pattern recognition,
spotting BS and discernment.
That's something that AI can't do.
It can't necessarily, I mean,
it can fact check to the extent that
it was told to within the parameters that
it was told to pattern recognition, maybe,
but I mean,
that's only if you know what patterns
you're looking for to begin with,
you're not going to discover anything.
any new patterns potentially using ai and
then also discernment like the gut feeling
that dad was talking about earlier ai
doesn't have a gut feeling so uh as
far as like decision making and and things
like that i mean that's that's a skill
that you should learn on your own and
you can't rely on ai i know a
lot of people are going to ai using
it as like a
Google on steroids and basing all of their
decisions based off AI,
whether it be farming and homesteading,
which, again,
you're going to get the conventional
answer from most AI platforms or whether
it be anything else.
People are consulting this Oracle and have
no sense of discernment when consulting
this Oracle.
So.
Keep that in mind.
Those are those are skills that I think
if you are going to use AI is
paramount that you use because you need to
know how to use it to use it.
You need to know how to understand when
it's lying and things like that or
understand the pattern in which like, oh,
if I ask this question,
then it responds like this.
Maybe ask this question this way so I
can get a truthful answer from this AI
and it'll actually be beneficial to me.
Man,
you've got that Yuval Noah Harari man out
there saying that basically churches and
stuff will be completely AI.
I wonder how many so-called pastors in the
pulpit are using AI to write sermons.
You better get a physical copy.
There's some changes already being made.
You better get a physical copy.
I'm betting money that there's pastors or
people calling themselves pastors,
I guess you can call them hirelings,
that are probably using AI to do this
anyway.
I mean, that ain't cool.
All right, y'all.
Real quick, on that note,
I guarantee you there's pastors using AI
to produce or create their sermons.
I know this because before this whole AI
boom and everything,
pastors were using other pastors' sermons.
Yes.
to teach at their church.
It was like,
even though this church is unaffiliated
with this other church,
they were copying this church's pattern,
uh,
sermons and then just using it at this
church because they liked this other
church.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I've heard about that sort of thing,
or they got a book of, uh,
you know,
of different things they can pull out.
Yeah.
Not exactly being led by the spirit, huh?
Anyway.
Um, the last one,
the last one I'm going to talk about
here is equipment, a small engine repair.
I kind of touched on it a little
bit early,
but I wanted to go into it a
little bit more.
At the end of the day,
there's going to be people out there that
have tractors, chainsaws, generators,
tillers, pumps.
And then you got people like Darren from
Hacks for the Homesteader who can fix
every last one of them,
doesn't need a manual,
doesn't need any of that stuff.
And all these machines eventually break
down.
And people got more time than money for
the most part.
They don't have time to go out here
and spend six hundred bucks on a new
chainsaw.
But they may be able to squeeze together
sixty to a hundred bucks to take it
down to the repair person in town.
In fact, my weed eater,
I got three weed eaters,
all of them Echos,
and I take them to get serviced in
town because it saves me time.
I mean,
I could easily change the spark plugs and
stuff like that and the filter and all
that other stuff.
It's just a loss of money for me
to even have to fool with that when
I can take it into them.
But AI is never going to be able
to do that stuff.
So you got a chainsaw.
And these days, man, I was,
I couldn't even believe what they want for
Husqvarna chainsaw.
You know, we got one down there.
I can't even, man, I've had cars.
It didn't cost that much.
I mean, I'm dead serious.
I mean,
I have driven cars that didn't cost as
much as some of this stuff out here
right now.
I've got more money in chainsaws and weed
eaters than I do vehicles.
Yeah, that's a fact.
I mean,
and that tells me also your priorities are
more in line.
I mean, tillers, pumps, all those things,
man, they break.
And AI, yeah,
you may be able to use AI or
you may be one of these people that
came from a career field where you have
absolutely no idea.
Maybe you want to mess with it as
a hobby.
Sooner or later,
you're going to go to somebody like Darren
and say, look, this thing ain't work.
I don't care what it is.
He will get it working again.
No doubt about it.
I've seen him do it.
So maybe getting a little bit of skill
in that area.
You could even, I mean,
you could have a little side business
doing that kind of stuff,
but there's a lot of tankers out there
to get off on, you know,
working on this sort of thing.
So that might be something for you as
well.
So that's my last one.
What do you got, son?
Um,
Real quick,
I'll say one of them real quick is
public speaking.
AI is still in that weird, uncanny,
I think it's called the uncanny valley or
something like that.
But as soon as you see it,
you recognize it as AI and it's
disturbing.
I don't think humans like hearing
information or being told information from
the AI.
So public speaking, even if you have AI,
like generate the script and stuff like
that,
People still prefer hearing it from a
human voice.
And then my last one,
last one is a chef slash cooking skills.
That's something that AI is still not
going to know how to do.
It knows how to assemble food,
but doesn't know how to taste good or
doesn't know how to tweak certain
ingredients.
It has no sense of taste.
It has no way to taste.
Whereas like a chef or cook or whatever
does and knows how to cook.
I mean,
could you imagine the nightmare of
creating like an AI robot to be able
to cook food,
even if it's just from a set menu?
Wait till wait.
You know what will destroy that machine?
Saturday brunch moms,
Saturday soccer brunch moms.
That's what's going to destroy that
machine.
As soon as it gets all the variations
it needs to make to all these meals,
it's done.
It's going to overheat and it's going to
fry and die on the spot.
But yeah, cooking, chef jobs,
stuff like that.
That's all safe.
It's funny you mention that because this
weekend, your mom and I, as of late,
I try to take her somewhere for breakfast
one day a week.
And we've been trying.
Asheville's got so many different places
around here.
We'll go there in the morning to avoid
any weirdos and stuff like that.
And it was funny exactly what you were
saying there.
We're waiting in line to get up here.
Supposedly this place has real good
biscuits.
And of course, being a Southern boy,
that's, you know, biscuits are my thing.
So going in there, waiting in line,
and I was sitting there joking with your
mom.
I said, watch every woman up there.
This menu had like just a handful of
items on there.
There ain't no questions to ask.
There ain't no questions to ask.
I said, no, watch,
watch every woman that goes up there.
Ladies, sorry,
but this is a woman can't just order
anything.
Your mom's the same way.
She won't just get something from the
menu.
They'll have to tweak it some kind of
way.
The guy will say, just, yeah,
give me the cheeseburger, put whatever,
whatever on it.
A woman will be like,
they got to have it special.
There's got to be something different
about it.
But I went into this coffee shop and
it happened to me there.
This girl's asking for the thing on the
menu and asking,
can you do this and this and don't
do this?
And I'm like, girl,
can you please just get the doggone
coffee?
And go there.
And like I said,
there ain't but a handful of things on
this menu.
And every one of them got up there
wanting to change things or, you know.
Then again, there was this woman,
this savage sitting next to us, man.
I had never seen somebody inhale food like
she was ravaging the countryside
unchecked.
Like I've never seen anybody just scarf
down food like this.
Like she hadn't eaten in a week.
But then again, this is Asheville.
You said it like she was a swarm
of locusts.
I've never seen anything like it, man.
Your mom got a biscuit sandwich and I
got a biscuit sandwich.
And then the way the scene was is
they were sitting right next to us.
She's over there.
She devoured whatever this salad was,
and I'm not even sure she used the
fork.
I'm sitting here watching this spectacle,
and I'm like, okay, this is entertaining.
And then she rips apart this biscuit like
a monkey threw a cupcake,
and then the guy sitting across from her,
he took his biscuit.
I mean,
she was all tatted up in the whole
nine yards.
She took like half.
He's sitting there looking.
And, of course,
he's a nutless wonder here in Asheville.
She's sitting here taking his biscuit like
it's cut in half, got butter on it.
She snatches up half his biscuit like do
something.
I'm dead serious.
He got cucked out of a biscuit.
She didn't even say, hey,
you're going to eat that other half of
that biscuit.
She just reached over there,
took the biscuit.
And of course, I'm enjoying this.
I'm like, OK,
this bull's just sitting there like he's
just their jaw gape.
I mean, just slack jawed and like,
what just happened here?
Anyway, yeah,
I didn't expect to end this podcast
talking about that.
But, hey, man, it is what it is.
All right, y'all,
I want to thank you all for your
support.
Hey, remember,
the podcasts are going to have to be

They're playing games on YouTube.
