<v Speaker 1>Tonight, Raw was at the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia,
<v Speaker 1>the same scope were many many years ago. I believe
<v Speaker 1>it was back in nineteen ninety eight WCW ran an
<v Speaker 1>episode of Nitro. It was the same night that DX
<v Speaker 1>drove their jeep tank right up to the gate, right
<v Speaker 1>up to the garage door would have gone inside had
<v Speaker 1>Eric Bischoff not lowered the gate like a big puss.
<v Speaker 1>There was nothing on this show tonight that was nearly
<v Speaker 1>as interesting or as exciting as what we saw on
<v Speaker 1>that show when they showed highlights of that back in
<v Speaker 1>ninety eight. That's the unfortunate part tonight. We had in
<v Speaker 1>the main event, we had the Bloodline, what else?
<v Speaker 2>What else is new?
<v Speaker 1>We had Solo Socoa, and we had Jay Husso. Jay
<v Speaker 1>Husso said that I'm going to deliver you like a
<v Speaker 1>fucking FedEx package to Roman Reigns. I'm going to deliver
<v Speaker 1>you to the tribal chief if I beat you tonight,
<v Speaker 1>I want anything to do with this crazy family and
<v Speaker 1>says when I beat you, you guys leave me alone.
<v Speaker 1>I want nothing to do with you anymore. That was
<v Speaker 1>the basis for our main event tonight. So we had
<v Speaker 1>on one side of the ring. We had Solo Socoa,
<v Speaker 1>a heel who never turned babyface but acts like one.
<v Speaker 1>And then we had jay Uso, a babyface who never
<v Speaker 1>turned heel but still yeats on his way to the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and the fans sort of take him as a baby face,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm not quite sure what he's supposed to be.
<v Speaker 1>It's no wonder the crowd was dead for the majority
<v Speaker 1>of that match in the main event. They don't know
<v Speaker 1>who are they supposed to cheer for? Who are they
<v Speaker 1>supposed to lie? Well, we kind of like this guy,
<v Speaker 1>but now we like this guy, but he's kind of
<v Speaker 1>still a heel, and I don't know, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>It was as dead of a main event as we've
<v Speaker 1>had on this show in a while. But again, jay
<v Speaker 1>Uso promised to deliver him if he won, and he did.
<v Speaker 1>They beat Solo Socoa, which means that next week Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns is back. By the way, he returns another Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns return. I always chuckle when they put the graphic
<v Speaker 1>up and Michael Cole says, Roman Reigns returns next week.
<v Speaker 1>He does that a lot, and I guess in theory,
<v Speaker 1>now Solo Sokoa is going to have to bend the knee,
<v Speaker 1>just like Jacob Fatu did when he lost to Roman
<v Speaker 1>back in May, and he's going to have to rejoin
<v Speaker 1>the family now. Just because he lost this match tonight
<v Speaker 1>doesn't mean that, oh, they're putting him in the bloodline
<v Speaker 1>and it's just going to go back to same old,
<v Speaker 1>same ol with Solo Socoa. Obviously, they're trying to tell
<v Speaker 1>some sort of story here, and I suspect that if
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't spike Roman next week, he will not be
<v Speaker 1>back in the bloodline for too long. I'm sure there's
<v Speaker 1>some sort of story that they'll play out here, But
<v Speaker 1>in the meantime, if that is how this is going
<v Speaker 1>to work, then yes, next week we may well see
<v Speaker 1>Solo Sokoa temporarily go back.
<v Speaker 2>To the bloodline. And that sucks.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm watching this show, and I'm watching this main event,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm like, man, what would they do if they
<v Speaker 1>didn't have the bloodline? If Triple H wanted to actually
<v Speaker 1>move away from the bloodline or maybe phase them down
<v Speaker 1>a little bit. Try to come up with, oh, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, something a little unique and fresh here on
<v Speaker 1>this show. What would this show look like? What would
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw look like I feel like this show
<v Speaker 1>would be unrecognizable. You take away the bloodline and the
<v Speaker 1>judgment Day who have been around for like seven years now.
<v Speaker 1>It feels like this would look like a totally different show.
<v Speaker 1>I almost said wrestling show. This would look like a
<v Speaker 1>totally different show. It's just you get that same old,
<v Speaker 1>same old feeling. It just it sucks, you know what
<v Speaker 1>I mean. It's the over reliance on the same stuff,
<v Speaker 1>the same story over and over again. All they have
<v Speaker 1>to do is just try to figure out new ways
<v Speaker 1>to keep it interesting. Unfortunately they don't do that enough.
<v Speaker 1>We had Penta and Laredo Oh Kid tonight. It was
<v Speaker 1>the kickoff of the tournament to see who will be
<v Speaker 1>challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. September fourteenth,
<v Speaker 1>Raw will be in Mexico City, and so tonight it
<v Speaker 1>was Penta and Laredo Kid to kick things. O G.
<v Speaker 1>I wonder who won that match. I wonder who's winning
<v Speaker 1>this tournament. I'm actually okay with the tournament. I think
<v Speaker 1>it's a fun concept, as predictable as it may be,
<v Speaker 1>but it's just funny to me, Like I'm watching this
<v Speaker 1>match tonight and It was probably had to be the
<v Speaker 1>slowest Luca match that I have seen in a very
<v Speaker 1>long time. And it doesn't matter that they have a tournament,
<v Speaker 1>it's supposed to be full of luchadors, luchadors from Raw, SmackDown, TRIPLEA.
<v Speaker 1>This was only match number one, not the most exciting match.
<v Speaker 1>It's what I call WWE Luca style, not traditional Luca style.
<v Speaker 1>Pente is moving on though. Opa Femi and bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>last week was direction that they teased, and that got
<v Speaker 1>my interest because that's a match that I would like
<v Speaker 1>to see and I don't want to have to wait
<v Speaker 1>until next year to see it. And the sense I
<v Speaker 1>got from last week's show is that this is coming
<v Speaker 1>up very soon, like the next pl or Sunday Night's
<v Speaker 1>made event. I don't know, but it's coming up very soon.
<v Speaker 1>And tonight we had another step in that direction. Obafemi
<v Speaker 1>was on the show. Obafemi was on the show, like
<v Speaker 1>blinking you missed it. He didn't really do a whole lot,
<v Speaker 1>but we had another exchange between them where they almost
<v Speaker 1>got physical, but the officials got between them right, keep
<v Speaker 1>them apart, no physicality, So that's good, right, We're moving
<v Speaker 1>the ball down the field here as we get closer
<v Speaker 1>to that match first time ever Obafemi and Brown Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>whenever we are actually going to end up getting that match.
<v Speaker 1>The thing that really confounds me though, on this show
<v Speaker 1>is the booking of Dominic Mysterio. It continues every single week.
<v Speaker 1>Dom is just beaten down and beaten down and beaten down.
<v Speaker 1>And I think back to where we were a year ago,
<v Speaker 1>a year and a half ago then as compared to now.
<v Speaker 1>And this is also a champion, by the way, the
<v Speaker 1>Triple A Mega Champion, the Mega Campion, right, they keep
<v Speaker 1>telling us the most prestigious, most important championship in all
<v Speaker 1>of Triple A. They have Triple Mania coming up, this
<v Speaker 1>supposedly big main event that they're gonna build around between
<v Speaker 1>Dominic Mysterio and El Grande Americano. I'm wondering if that
<v Speaker 1>championship is going to mean anything by the time they
<v Speaker 1>even get to Triple Mania. This man has been the
<v Speaker 1>Triple A Mega Champion. He's had one title defense in
<v Speaker 1>Triple A all year. It was back in March. But
<v Speaker 1>forget that for a second. Just his booking here on
<v Speaker 1>the main roster has been deplorable, and I get it,
<v Speaker 1>like on the main roster. He's booked as like a
<v Speaker 1>chicken shit heel, so he's not gonna be like some
<v Speaker 1>tough guy. But I'm not even talking about that. I'm
<v Speaker 1>just talking about the fact that this man has not
<v Speaker 1>won a match on this show since I believe May.
<v Speaker 1>We're coming off a Summer Slam where he got beat
<v Speaker 1>by fucking Dan Hausen, who had one of the most
<v Speaker 1>awful commercial break segments that I have ever seen in
<v Speaker 1>the history of this show. By the way, if you
<v Speaker 1>are not watching this show where you can see what
<v Speaker 1>happens during the commercial breaks, you should be very grateful
<v Speaker 1>for that, because for those of you who saw that
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen segment was fucking horrendous. And then on the
<v Speaker 1>actual show tonight, thankfully they kept him to one very
<v Speaker 1>brief backstage segment. This is who he lost to at SummerSlam,
<v Speaker 1>and then last week on Raw he got pinned in
<v Speaker 1>the tag team match. So tonight Dom had an impromptu
<v Speaker 1>match that was made during the course of the show,
<v Speaker 1>and he lost again. He lost again. Now, there was
<v Speaker 1>a report recently false Finish shout out to them. I
<v Speaker 1>believe they were the first ones to have it that
<v Speaker 1>talked about how Dom is very frustrated with his booking
<v Speaker 1>on the main roster. He doesn't understand why he his
<v Speaker 1>book the way that he is because it weakens him
<v Speaker 1>in Triple A and.
<v Speaker 2>Of course, ding ding ding.
<v Speaker 1>He's absolutely right, no lies detected in that, And I
<v Speaker 1>can absolutely believe that that's exactly how he feels, because
<v Speaker 1>that's how I feel when I watch him on this
<v Speaker 1>television show.
<v Speaker 2>That's how I feel.
<v Speaker 1>You cannot tell me the Dominic mysterio when he shows
<v Speaker 1>up to work every single week, looks at the creative
<v Speaker 1>that they have for him and says cool, Yeah, that
<v Speaker 1>sounds good.
<v Speaker 2>No.
<v Speaker 1>Now, I haven't seen him commenting publicly in any podcast
<v Speaker 1>or interviews or anything like that where he's been putting
<v Speaker 1>down creative. The only thing that I've seen is that
<v Speaker 1>report from False Finish. So it's not like Dom has
<v Speaker 1>been going out there and making comments. But if maybe
<v Speaker 1>internally he's been making comments or asking questions, or he's
<v Speaker 1>expressed a frustration right, or he's been disgruntled or whatever
<v Speaker 1>the case may be, maybe that would explain what's going
<v Speaker 1>on here, because clearly there is a reason why he
<v Speaker 1>is being buried on these shows every single week. He
<v Speaker 1>has obviously pissed somebody off or Triple H is sick
<v Speaker 1>and tired of hearing how the Undertaker is the best
<v Speaker 1>booker in wrestling. Today, I'll show him this is Undertaker's
<v Speaker 1>top champion. He's being fucking demean on television every single week.
<v Speaker 1>Dominic Mysterio has absolutely every right to feel that way.
<v Speaker 1>It's been quite something to watch. Tonight was just another
<v Speaker 1>example of it. I still got a month to go
<v Speaker 1>over a month ago until they even get to Triple Mania.
<v Speaker 1>Will that championship even be worth anything by the time
<v Speaker 1>they get there. I don't think so. They're punishing him
<v Speaker 1>for it, says green May. That's what it feels like.
<v Speaker 1>He is being punished. He is being punished. He's in
<v Speaker 1>the doghouse.
<v Speaker 2>He has heat.
<v Speaker 1>It's the only thing that makes sense here. His booking
<v Speaker 1>throughout the entire year, really, ever since he beat John
<v Speaker 1>Cena at Survivor Series last year, has been deplorable. This
<v Speaker 1>is your Raw on Netflix review. It is August tenth,
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six.
<v Speaker 2>I am the Solemn Monster.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you guys for being with me here on another
<v Speaker 1>Monday night, kicking off a brand new week after a big,
<v Speaker 1>big sound off Yesterday, episode nine seventy five. I thank
<v Speaker 1>you to those of you who have checked it out, downloaded, stream,
<v Speaker 1>left the comment, appreciate it, like and subscribe. Super chats
<v Speaker 1>are open. I'll be reading all of your messages a
<v Speaker 1>little bit later on here in the stream. You guys
<v Speaker 1>know the drill. Hey, Philip Bowman, thank you very much.
<v Speaker 2>Brother.
<v Speaker 1>Take our wheel here for a spin, and then we'll
<v Speaker 1>get into the review. Hopefully we get to do some
<v Speaker 1>be the Booker.
<v Speaker 2>A little bit later. Oh well, look at that.
<v Speaker 1>One of the new options on the wheel, and it
<v Speaker 1>looks like we are in fact going to be doing
<v Speaker 1>be the Booker later. It's an automatic be the Booker.
<v Speaker 1>Look at that. It's only got one slot on the
<v Speaker 1>wheel too, and of course that's the one we landed on. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I want you, I hope hopefully you'll like the video anyway,
<v Speaker 1>because it helps get us into the algorithm. So keep
<v Speaker 1>pitting that thumbs up. But you got auto B to B.
<v Speaker 2>Look at this? This is your night? Was it expecting
<v Speaker 2>that anyway? Moving on?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, look at this. Everyone's throwing a party here in
<v Speaker 1>the chat. Everyone's all happy. Don't get lazy on me, now,
<v Speaker 1>don't get lazy on me Michael Cole. Beginning of the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight, he was setting up a video package to
<v Speaker 1>recap the events of last week's main event, that was
<v Speaker 1>the big street fight between Jacob fa Tu and Royce Keys,
<v Speaker 1>which ended with a Jacob Fotu victory and Royce Keys
<v Speaker 1>being killed right that bright red blood that was dripping
<v Speaker 1>out of his mouth. So the update is on Royce Keys,
<v Speaker 1>that is the update is that he has suffered a
<v Speaker 1>bruised larynx because remember they wrapped the chair around his neck.
<v Speaker 1>Fatu did the running hip attack in the corner, and
<v Speaker 1>he also suffered a cervical strain, and Michael Cole says
<v Speaker 1>that he is going to be out indefinitely. Hopefully that
<v Speaker 1>means he's just going on a vacation with his girlfriend
<v Speaker 1>or something and then he'll be back in a few weeks.
<v Speaker 1>So as they're talking, we hear Solo Sokoa's voice. We
<v Speaker 1>don't see him, we don't know where he is. They
<v Speaker 1>pan out to the crowd and he's up in the
<v Speaker 1>crowd normally where the ussos would make their entrance, and
<v Speaker 1>he's mocking like jay Usso's themes so just me us
<v Speaker 1>and he's singing the lyrics to the song and mocking it.
<v Speaker 1>So they said he was here to handle some family business.
<v Speaker 1>Didn't really get a lot out until jay USO's music
<v Speaker 1>actually hit, and then jay Uso made his way down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring.
<v Speaker 2>So he told Solo that.
<v Speaker 1>The tribal chief called the play and now it was
<v Speaker 1>time for Solo to fall in line. And Solo asked
<v Speaker 1>him if did you fall in line or did you
<v Speaker 1>just fall off? Said you're a former world champion. Says
<v Speaker 1>you want a royal rumble, says you be Gunther WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>which you know, as I sit here right now, it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't feel quite as impressive now, does it. Yeah, there
<v Speaker 1>was a point in time where Gunther really did. He
<v Speaker 1>felt like a world beater. And if you were to
<v Speaker 1>say something like that, oh you have a victory over Gunther, Wow,
<v Speaker 1>that means something. It means less now than it would
<v Speaker 1>have meant a year ago. It's not as impressive. He says,
<v Speaker 1>Jay made all the little kids happy, all these things
<v Speaker 1>that you did, but now all that crap is out
<v Speaker 1>the window and now it sucks to be you. Solo
<v Speaker 1>then reiterated that he is not coming back to the bloodline.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody loves where he's at right now, and the fans cheered.
<v Speaker 1>Apparently Triple H doesn't. So Jay said that Solo only
<v Speaker 1>has his big house. Everything he has he owes to
<v Speaker 1>the bloodline, and then he challenged Solo to a match tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and when he wins, he says he will deliver Solo
<v Speaker 1>to the tribal chief. He said that that's Solo's warning shot,
<v Speaker 1>Pa pow Right. And so Solo's in the crowd and
<v Speaker 1>they cut to him and he's ducking and he's looking
<v Speaker 1>around that he's asking the crowd. He goes, is anybody
<v Speaker 1>shot right? Fucking loves Solo? Soco in this role. So
<v Speaker 1>after he makes sure that nobody was mortally wounded, he
<v Speaker 1>agreed to the match. He said, when I win, though,
<v Speaker 1>everyone in that messed up family has to leave me alone.
<v Speaker 1>And that's your warning shot, pew baby face Solo, Man,
<v Speaker 1>baby face Solo. I'm enjoying it, even though it looks
<v Speaker 1>like we're probably gonna get it taken away from us
<v Speaker 1>here now for a period of time anyway, But this
<v Speaker 1>set up Jay Uso and Solo's sokoa, And look as
<v Speaker 1>much as I'm enjoying Solo and his new found Babyface
<v Speaker 1>persona here. When I realized what our main event was tonight, again,
<v Speaker 1>I just went just sitting here feeling kind of defeated
<v Speaker 1>because it's twenty twenty six and the Bloodline story has
<v Speaker 1>been playing out now for six years. Think about that, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>six years. I'm not counting anything that came before. And
<v Speaker 1>I'm specifically talking since Roman came back as the tribal chief. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>August of twenty twenty six years, and we are still
<v Speaker 1>sitting here and we are looking at Solo Sokoa and
<v Speaker 1>Jay Usso in the main event. Is that supposed to
<v Speaker 1>excite me? Does that excite you? Honestly? And again, I've
<v Speaker 1>been enjoying what Solo Siko has been doing now for
<v Speaker 1>the last few weeks. But I cannot sit here and
<v Speaker 1>get excited about a Solo Soko a Jay Usso main
<v Speaker 1>event to.
<v Speaker 2>This television show. I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 1>Backstage, Jay Usso walked up to Jimmy and Jacob. Jacob
<v Speaker 1>was objecting to the way that Jay handled his business
<v Speaker 1>out there. Jay said he's going to take care of
<v Speaker 1>the Solo problem all by himself, and Jay reminded him
<v Speaker 1>that he couldn't do it, so He's gonna be the
<v Speaker 1>one to do it. Jacob told him, you better get
<v Speaker 1>that dub tonight. Yeah, sixty a krypton six years, six years,
<v Speaker 1>six years. I don't ever want to hear about the
<v Speaker 1>nWo ever again. Penta and Laredo Kid. This was a
<v Speaker 1>first round match in the tournament to decide a number
<v Speaker 1>one contender for Roman reigns in his World Heavyweight Championship
<v Speaker 1>in Mexico City next month. And the crowd goes mild
<v Speaker 1>for a Laredo Kid. Poor a Laredo Kid. How old
<v Speaker 1>is Laredo Kid? By the way, he's got to be
<v Speaker 1>pushing forty. They said that he made his debut in
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and three. I know, for some reason I
<v Speaker 1>thought he was younger, maybe like early thirties. Is he
<v Speaker 1>really pushing forty?
<v Speaker 2>I guess so.
<v Speaker 1>But this is as quiet as you will ever hear
<v Speaker 1>it for a Penta match, okay, because nobody in that
<v Speaker 1>building watches Triple Ah, not consistently anyway, And nobody knew
<v Speaker 1>who Laredo Kid was, and if they did know, they
<v Speaker 1>didn't give a shit. But he was in control heading
<v Speaker 1>into a commercial break, So Laredo Kidd, he escaped a
<v Speaker 1>Penta Driver. He spiked him with a poison ron and
<v Speaker 1>then he delivered a four to fifty splash for a
<v Speaker 1>near fall. So Kid charged right into a superkick. Then
<v Speaker 1>came the backstabber by Penta. Kid rolled to the floor
<v Speaker 1>of Penta caught him with a toepey out over the top. Well, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he said, okay, yeah, he's he's had a longer career
<v Speaker 1>than Penta. They did mention that on commentary. I think
<v Speaker 1>they said he's been wrestling five years longer than Penta
<v Speaker 1>and Pena's forty. So actually that would make sense. Man,
<v Speaker 1>Oh god, Richard, don't say that. Richard says the blood
<v Speaker 1>the death Riders have to match the bloodline.
<v Speaker 2>Don't say that. So anyway, the.
<v Speaker 1>Crowd didn't get up for this until late I it
<v Speaker 1>went the way you would expect it to go in
<v Speaker 1>the end, Mexican Destroyer, Penta winds. The crowd got with
<v Speaker 1>it more there in the closing I'd say, I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>two minutes or so. I look, I liked it well enough,
<v Speaker 1>But the slowest Luca match you will ever see. There
<v Speaker 1>is a very distinct difference between a Lucha match in
<v Speaker 1>WWE as compared to any other promotion in the world,
<v Speaker 1>including the actual Luca promotions. It's just they slow it down.
<v Speaker 1>It's just a very different style that they are forced
<v Speaker 1>to work that is not nearly as exciting. And it
<v Speaker 1>sucks even more when one of the people in the match, again,
<v Speaker 1>the people in the audience, they don't know who it
<v Speaker 1>is and so they don't respond to it. They were
<v Speaker 1>happy see pen to win, But like I said, the
<v Speaker 1>quietest you will ever see a Penta match here in
<v Speaker 1>wwe we know Penta is going to the finals. We
<v Speaker 1>know Penta is winning this. Honestly, anything other than Penta
<v Speaker 1>winning this would be a huge mistake and just the
<v Speaker 1>colossal fuck up. The only question is who is he
<v Speaker 1>gonna be wrestling in the finals. Now, you would think
<v Speaker 1>that the surefire thing would be to do brother versus brother,
<v Speaker 1>and you do Penta and Ray Phoenix. But as they
<v Speaker 1>said on the sound of this weekend, this is the
<v Speaker 1>same creative team that booked the King of the Ring tournament,
<v Speaker 1>where we could have had any number of interesting, exciting
<v Speaker 1>semi final or finals combinations, and they gave us what
<v Speaker 1>they gave us.
<v Speaker 2>So don't assume anything when.
<v Speaker 1>It comes to this team, and when it comes to WWI,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think there's really a bad option here, right Ray,
<v Speaker 1>Phoenix and Penta, that's the match to do. The only
<v Speaker 1>other match it could possibly be is Penta and Dragonly.
<v Speaker 1>And look, Penta and dragon Ly would be a great
<v Speaker 1>match too, right, it's not Phoenix and Penta. But in
<v Speaker 1>either case, I think you're gonna get a really good finals.
<v Speaker 1>But there really is only one match that it should
<v Speaker 1>be first though, Penta has to get through either Laparca
<v Speaker 1>or Psycho Clown. They're going to be having their tournament
<v Speaker 1>match on TRIPLEATV this coming weekend, so we'll find out
<v Speaker 1>at that point who it's going to be. We have
<v Speaker 1>Byron Saxton in the back to interview the Vision Theory
<v Speaker 1>in Maxine, they were making out bron Breaker couldn't be
<v Speaker 1>bothered to give a shit. He was kind of staring
<v Speaker 1>off into the distance, very intensely, clearly still smarting over
<v Speaker 1>his face to face with Oba Femi last week. So
<v Speaker 1>after the other Vision members left, they said some shit.
<v Speaker 1>It's not important what they had to say. Logan Paul
<v Speaker 1>talked who gives a shit? So after they left, bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker stayed behind and he asked Byron, what do you
<v Speaker 1>think of Obafemi, Byron said, I like him. Breaker asked,
<v Speaker 1>do you think that Oba is the future? Well, that's
<v Speaker 1>what brock Lesner said. That was Byron's response, and Breaker
<v Speaker 1>told him, you sound like Paul, and he walked off.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't say if that was a Paul Hayman or
<v Speaker 1>a Logan Paul. You have to specify which Paul you
<v Speaker 1>were referring to. Bron does not need the Vision at all. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I've only been saying that for what about a month now. No,
<v Speaker 1>he does not need the Vision, and now on the
<v Speaker 1>show he actually looks completely disinterested in everything that the
<v Speaker 1>Vision is doing.
<v Speaker 2>Why.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I guess he's bound by the tag team titles.
<v Speaker 1>Were it not for the tag team belts, I would
<v Speaker 1>ask why he's even still associating himself with these people.
<v Speaker 1>There's literally no other reason Paul Hayman is not even
<v Speaker 1>with them anymore. The only thing keeping him with the
<v Speaker 1>Vision are the tag team title belts, which in and
<v Speaker 1>of themselves don't mean a damn thing. I would just
<v Speaker 1>vacate the fucking thing and just go off and do
<v Speaker 1>my own thing and worry about Obafemi. I don't even
<v Speaker 1>know why he's still associated with these people Austin theory
<v Speaker 1>against Zakira Tozawa with the announcement or with the announcers
<v Speaker 1>on commentary, they were talking about bron Breaker killing Joe
<v Speaker 1>Henry on the show.
<v Speaker 2>Last week.
<v Speaker 1>As they were doing this, Corey Graves on commentary called
<v Speaker 1>him Joe Henry. Now last week Michael Cole did the
<v Speaker 1>same thing. He referred to him as Joe Henry, which
<v Speaker 1>made me think maybe they silently changed his name and
<v Speaker 1>just didn't tell us. But then later in the show
<v Speaker 1>during one of the commercial breaks, guests who appeared Joe Henry.
<v Speaker 1>So yet another week where he gets no entrance and
<v Speaker 1>he's just in the ring and he's got his guitar
<v Speaker 1>and he's going to sing us a song. And he mentioned,
<v Speaker 1>by the way that his new album, which he is,
<v Speaker 1>he did record an album of songs. The new album
<v Speaker 1>is dropping in October, so I'm sure we're all very
<v Speaker 1>excited about that. But beyond that, they put the name
<v Speaker 1>plate on the screen and it's very clear his name
<v Speaker 1>is still Joe Hendry, and maybe they ought to think
<v Speaker 1>about changing his name since their own announcers can't seem
<v Speaker 1>to get it right. Just a suggestion if you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>call him Joe Henry, you may as well just change
<v Speaker 1>his fucking name. Bron Breaker. He's standing outside during the match.
<v Speaker 1>He was not paying attention. Again, he could not give
<v Speaker 1>a shit about what was going on. I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>was Theory in Tozawa, so can you really blame him?
<v Speaker 1>I thought I was watching main event. It was all
<v Speaker 1>Theory until late in the match where he got some hope,
<v Speaker 1>Spots ripped his shirt of Hogan's style. Then Theory killed
<v Speaker 1>him with a forearm shot and.
<v Speaker 2>He pinned him.
<v Speaker 1>I have no idea why this needed eight minutes. Eight
<v Speaker 1>minutes is what this got. Now, after the match was over,
<v Speaker 1>Theory in Maxine, they went for a chair. They were
<v Speaker 1>gonna use a chair. Comes at in Pierce. Here come
<v Speaker 1>all the officials. They rush out, they take the chair away.
<v Speaker 1>While all of this is going on in this big hubbub,
<v Speaker 1>this big commotion is going on outside the ring. Bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker has finally moved. He goes into the ring. He
<v Speaker 1>is getting ready to spear Tozawa when we hear Obafemi's music,
<v Speaker 1>and he had plenty of time to hit the spear
<v Speaker 1>on Tozawa because oba Femi got his full entrance. He
<v Speaker 1>could have speared this man fifteen times if he wanted to,
<v Speaker 1>but in fact, he saved the man's life. So Breaker
<v Speaker 1>just stood in the ring and he was waiting for him.
<v Speaker 1>As Oba's coming down to the ring, Theory went after
<v Speaker 1>him and he got booted down in the aisleway. Oba
<v Speaker 1>stepped into the ring and here comes Adam Pierce and
<v Speaker 1>his band of merry men. They get in the ring
<v Speaker 1>to get between these two. So they never got physical,
<v Speaker 1>they never touched, and it was really Oba trying to
<v Speaker 1>go after him. Breaker wasn't even trying to go after him.
<v Speaker 1>Breaker was actually cracking a smile for the first time
<v Speaker 1>as he left the ring, and that's how they ended things.
<v Speaker 1>And look, I mean, I understand them not wanting to
<v Speaker 1>have these two guys touch. You want people to wait,
<v Speaker 1>you want to build the anticipation for it. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know when they're going to do the match though they
<v Speaker 1>don't have a PLEM trying to think when is the
<v Speaker 1>next pl e that they have if you don't count
<v Speaker 1>the Sunday Night's main event on Peacock, which is September sixth,
<v Speaker 1>I believe in Atlanta, do they have another ple scheduled
<v Speaker 1>until money I mean money in the bank is not
<v Speaker 1>until like October tenth or something. And they haven't said
<v Speaker 1>anything about their being another wrestle palosis, so I have
<v Speaker 1>no idea if they're.
<v Speaker 2>Even doing that this year. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>We have World Collide coming up that's at the end
<v Speaker 1>of September. I don't believe we do October tenth, or
<v Speaker 1>we may have to wait a couple of months. We
<v Speaker 1>may have to wait a couple of months if they're
<v Speaker 1>going to do it on that show. I just can't
<v Speaker 1>imagine them giving this match away on TV. They didn't
<v Speaker 1>even want to do it in the King of the
<v Speaker 1>Ring tournament. I can't imagine them just doing it on
<v Speaker 1>a random episode of Raw. So we'll see when we
<v Speaker 1>get it, but when we do, I will be seated.
<v Speaker 1>I am looking forward to that match. I am glad
<v Speaker 1>that they are not going to make us wait six
<v Speaker 1>months to see it. I think this could be the
<v Speaker 1>first of many battles that these two have. The whole
<v Speaker 1>basis of the storyline is that bron Breaker does not
<v Speaker 1>like the fact that everybody, including brock Lesner, is calling
<v Speaker 1>Oba the future when.
<v Speaker 2>He was supposed to be the future.
<v Speaker 1>Now all of a sudden, Oba's the shiny new toy, right,
<v Speaker 1>That's the whole premise of this entire thing. The reality is,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, unless bron falls out of standing with you know,
<v Speaker 1>Triple H or certain people in the company, he's going
<v Speaker 1>to be the future too. He just may not be
<v Speaker 1>that a number one guy, right, that's going to be
<v Speaker 1>Oba Breaker could be you know, I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>you have like one A and one B right or
<v Speaker 1>one and two. I think that's probably how they're going
<v Speaker 1>to look at them. But these two guys, you know,
<v Speaker 1>having a future WRESTLEMANI a main event or two.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely absolutely.
<v Speaker 1>They've invested so much in Bron Breaker, going back to
<v Speaker 1>the two point zero days of NXT, and they've pushed
<v Speaker 1>Oba so hard and so far in a very short
<v Speaker 1>period of time that you have to imagine they're not
<v Speaker 1>going to squander that, right. But then again, this is WWE,
<v Speaker 1>so you can never be sure of what they're going
<v Speaker 1>to squander and what they're.
<v Speaker 2>Not going to squander.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm I'm glad that we're going to be getting
<v Speaker 1>this match soon now. In the back, Kathy Kelly interviewed
<v Speaker 1>Ramas Stereo, the general manager of Triple a about this tournament,
<v Speaker 1>his Roman Reigns tournament. He was talking about it. Dragon
<v Speaker 1>Lee was there to thank Ray for his spot in
<v Speaker 1>the tournament when Dominic Mysterio walked in and he was
<v Speaker 1>complaining about not getting a spot in said tournament. And
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he's not wrong. Theoretically, why wouldn't he be
<v Speaker 1>in the tournament. He's the Triple A Mega Champion. Why
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't El Grande Americano be in the tournament right now?
<v Speaker 1>The real answer is because they don't want either one
<v Speaker 1>of them to win, and they're building to a match
<v Speaker 1>between the two of them at Triple Mania. But if
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna have a tournament with supposedly the best lutradors
<v Speaker 1>in Ross, SmackDown and Triple A, to not have two
<v Speaker 1>of the biggest stars in Triple A is kind of goofy. Now,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta admit that's pretty fucking goofy. And I think
<v Speaker 1>you could have had them in there too. I think
<v Speaker 1>you could have done it in a way where they
<v Speaker 1>both maybe they both bounce each other out of the tournament, right.
<v Speaker 1>You could have had them in there and not had
<v Speaker 1>them go to the finals and win. But they elected
<v Speaker 1>to not have them in there at all, so Dom
<v Speaker 1>is not wrong when he says this. Ray says that
<v Speaker 1>Dom doesn't need another handout, and that is how he
<v Speaker 1>became a jackass in the first place. Dragonly said, I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna go find Adam Pierce and make a match between
<v Speaker 1>the two of us. Tonight, Michael Cole and Corey Graves,
<v Speaker 1>they showed us Stephanie Vecaer getting taken out by the
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day on Raw Men months ago, which led to
<v Speaker 1>her being gone and then her return last week. Becky
<v Speaker 1>Lynch and Stephanie they came face to face. So Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>Viquer made her way out to the ring and she
<v Speaker 1>says she was so happy to be here. She really
<v Speaker 1>missed everybody, but most of all she missing Live Morgan
<v Speaker 1>and the Judgment Day getting scared every time they see
<v Speaker 1>her coming, nobody can destroy her. She's gonna run through
<v Speaker 1>the Judgment Day one by one. Raquel Rodriguez, I beat
<v Speaker 1>you up a thousand times, and I can do it
<v Speaker 1>again and again. Roxane Perez, you're a dead woman. And
<v Speaker 1>Live Morgan. I know you're scared, and you should be
<v Speaker 1>because we both know that title belongs to me. So
<v Speaker 1>she put each member of the judgment day on notice,
<v Speaker 1>Becky Lynch interrupts her music does and she comes down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring and Stephanie asks Herlia what he wants.
<v Speaker 1>Becky says, I want the same thing that you want.
<v Speaker 1>I want to beat the piss out of Live Morgan.
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie has a score to settle, but Becky says she
<v Speaker 1>just doesn't like her. Live has taken that championship in
<v Speaker 1>a time machine back to the mid two thousands, and
<v Speaker 1>she's worked too hard to let that happen. She doesn't
<v Speaker 1>know a lot about Stephanie. She's an enigma, a little
<v Speaker 1>bit mysterious. She knows Stephanie made a big impact on
<v Speaker 1>Ron a very short period of time, which is impressive
<v Speaker 1>considering she's gone more than she's actually there. So she's
<v Speaker 1>the Roman reigns of the women's division. She's had some
<v Speaker 1>bad luck, happens to all of them. But Becky can't
<v Speaker 1>decide if Stephanie is a badass that won't give up,
<v Speaker 1>or if her body quits so her mind won't. Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>can settle her score with Live, but the title belongs
<v Speaker 1>to Becky, so Stephanie doesn't care if Becky gets her away.
<v Speaker 1>She'll learn what La Primera is all about. Stephanie leaves
<v Speaker 1>and at that point Becky is standing there and watching her,
<v Speaker 1>and she gets ambushed by Live Morgan and Live tries
<v Speaker 1>for oblivion and that gets blocked and Becky hits Live
<v Speaker 1>with a bex bloater suplex. Stephanie gets back in the
<v Speaker 1>ring and she argues with Becky and that was that.
<v Speaker 1>That was that very little Live Morgan on the show tonight,
<v Speaker 1>which I'm actually okay with, but you know, not much
<v Speaker 1>different than what we had last week. We actually got
<v Speaker 1>more out of this last week. This was more of
<v Speaker 1>just a continuation of that. Stephanie got some promo time,
<v Speaker 1>which he hasn't had a lot of since she's been gone,
<v Speaker 1>and the teases continue for Becky Lynch, Stephanie VI the
<v Speaker 1>care match, now pick your poison. You know, are they
<v Speaker 1>building to individual title matches first that Live wins and
<v Speaker 1>then we get a triple threat at the end of it,
<v Speaker 1>or is it going to be a case where Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>is going to get her shot first and then depending
<v Speaker 1>on how that goes, the winner will get Becky right
<v Speaker 1>or Becky will get the winner. I could see a
<v Speaker 1>three way in the future at some point, you know,
<v Speaker 1>maybe they go one by one at first. I just
<v Speaker 1>feel like they're not going to change the chachampionship. I
<v Speaker 1>feel like we're going to see all three of them
<v Speaker 1>in the ring together. Maybe they want to get a
<v Speaker 1>couple of singles matches out of it first. I'm just
<v Speaker 1>happy that we actually have some competition in the women's
<v Speaker 1>division as the championship is concerned, because we had nothing.
<v Speaker 1>We had nothing for so long, for so many months
<v Speaker 1>coming out of WrestleMania, and it just makes for boring television.
<v Speaker 1>And so now we have two big names back in
<v Speaker 1>the division. They're all gunning for the belt. I think
<v Speaker 1>that's great. It's just, you know, I don't want another
<v Speaker 1>one hundred days where we have no Women's Championship matches,
<v Speaker 1>and so I'm waiting for the announcement of when her
<v Speaker 1>next title defense is going to be. Hopefully it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>take another two months. Why she doesn't defend it now
<v Speaker 1>until money in the bank. They do have a Sunday
<v Speaker 1>Nights main event coming up at the beginning of next month.
<v Speaker 1>I think you could have her defend the title, maybe
<v Speaker 1>agains Stephanie on that show. Wouldn't even be surprised if
<v Speaker 1>they were going to main event.
<v Speaker 2>That show with that.
<v Speaker 1>Honestly, I think Kelly was in the back with La
<v Speaker 1>Knight his Walmart watch told him that it was time
<v Speaker 1>for Roman to finally wrestle him. He said he was
<v Speaker 1>going to win the tournament and get a title match
<v Speaker 1>with Roman, but Kathy reminded him that it's only for luchadors.
<v Speaker 1>And at that point, Solo Sokoa walked in and he asked, Knight,
<v Speaker 1>did you see what happened to Roy's keys last week?
<v Speaker 1>And Knight said he did, and Solo was hoping to
<v Speaker 1>have La, you know, basically watch his back and help
<v Speaker 1>him in his match with jay Uso, and Knight said, look, SummerSlam,
<v Speaker 1>we teamed up the hug everything.
<v Speaker 2>It went great.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate it, but it was one night only. And
<v Speaker 1>Solo tried to convince him, what are you talking about. No,
<v Speaker 1>it can't be. It can't be. The Bloodline's going to
<v Speaker 1>come after me, They're going to come after you. He's
<v Speaker 1>trying to talk him into keeping this alliance going for
<v Speaker 1>a little while longer, and Knight really doesn't want to.
<v Speaker 2>Have anything to do with him.
<v Speaker 1>Dominic Mysterio against Dragon Lee late in the match, Lee
<v Speaker 1>hung him upside down in the corner and then hit
<v Speaker 1>a double stomp, only got a near fall out of it.
<v Speaker 1>Dom made a comeback hit a six one nine. He
<v Speaker 1>came off the top of the frog splash. Dragon Lee though,
<v Speaker 1>got the knees up and then he hit Operation Dragon
<v Speaker 1>for the win. That's all you need to know. That's
<v Speaker 1>how the match went, and the Triple A Mega Champion
<v Speaker 1>once again suffers another loss here on this show. Now,
<v Speaker 1>when the match was over, now we'll talk about Dom
<v Speaker 1>here in a second. But for Dragon Lee, speaking of
<v Speaker 1>people who can never win matches on this show, this
<v Speaker 1>was his first win in forever, and you would think
<v Speaker 1>the man would have the opportunity here to celebrate a
<v Speaker 1>little bit, but it would be wrong because as soon
<v Speaker 1>as he won the match and got his hand raised
<v Speaker 1>like a sea monster rising from the water, who appears
<v Speaker 1>behind him but Big Casts who destroyed Javon Evans last week.
<v Speaker 1>Now it was Dragon Lee's turn, and so he gets
<v Speaker 1>in the ring and he ends up putting Dragon Lee
<v Speaker 1>down with the East River crossing Javon Evans music hits.
<v Speaker 1>He runs out to the ring and he went to
<v Speaker 1>go attack cast Cast just swatted him out of midair.
<v Speaker 1>I think it was a closed line as Javon was
<v Speaker 1>trying to springboard into the ring and he ended up
<v Speaker 1>booting him down, and so big casts stood tall at
<v Speaker 1>the end of this Poor Dragonly, Poor dragon Lee, his
<v Speaker 1>first singles went on raw in a year.
<v Speaker 2>You would have to go all.
<v Speaker 1>The way back to August of twenty twenty five. John
<v Speaker 1>Cena was defending his championship at SummerSlam against Cody Rhodes,
<v Speaker 1>and brock Lesner was first returning to the company. He's
<v Speaker 1>retired now supposedly, but he had first come back that night.
<v Speaker 1>That's how far back in the past you would have
<v Speaker 1>to go to find an episode of this television program
<v Speaker 1>where Dragonly actually won a match, a singles match, and
<v Speaker 1>so you would think this would be a big win
<v Speaker 1>he could celebrate. Instead, he gets immediately wiped out like
<v Speaker 1>a geek. Speaking of geeks, that brings me to dominic mysterio,
<v Speaker 1>And I don't have too much to add to what
<v Speaker 1>I kind of went off on here at the beginning
<v Speaker 1>of this stream. I just I tweeted this out during
<v Speaker 1>the show. As soon as the segment was over, I said,
<v Speaker 1>why are they jobbing their triple A Mega champion out
<v Speaker 1>so much on this show. Dominic Mysterio has not won
<v Speaker 1>a television match, a singles match here on this show,
<v Speaker 1>maybe any match since May. Since May. We are now
<v Speaker 1>in August. Now, if you were to tell me that
<v Speaker 1>about JD McDonough, Okay, that's kind of his role in
<v Speaker 1>the judgment day, But dom something's going on here. Doesn't
<v Speaker 1>take a rocket scientist to figure that out. He fell
<v Speaker 1>out of favor with somebody in this company. Maybe it
<v Speaker 1>goes to the very top of creative with Triple H.
<v Speaker 1>But whatever it is, they are humbling this man and
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why, because if he is in fact frustrated,
<v Speaker 1>you know, with his usage or the way that they're
<v Speaker 1>booking him on this show, maybe he has expressed that
<v Speaker 1>internally to people he should be. I'd be asking those
<v Speaker 1>same questions if I were him, you know, in a
<v Speaker 1>polite way. But it's like, you've put me in this
<v Speaker 1>position to where I'm holding this championship for a brand
<v Speaker 1>that they clearly want to focus on. They're always talking
<v Speaker 1>about Triple A. They're trying to push the Triple A stuff.
<v Speaker 1>They had that incredible match at the end of May
<v Speaker 1>in Triple A with El Grande Americano Kaiser and Elgrande
<v Speaker 1>Americano Gable. It will probably end up as the match
<v Speaker 1>of the year on some people's list. At the end
<v Speaker 1>of this year, and they have a bunch of big
<v Speaker 1>shows coming up, big Triple A show at the end
<v Speaker 1>of this month. They're booking Worlds Collide against a Wall Out.
<v Speaker 1>At the end of next month. They have two Knights
<v Speaker 1>of Triple Mania coming up. They just left the Luxor
<v Speaker 1>in Las Vegas to book the much bigger MGM grand
<v Speaker 1>for Night one of Triple Mania. You would think this
<v Speaker 1>is important to them, and if they've had this championship
<v Speaker 1>on this kid now and this is their most prestigious
<v Speaker 1>belt in that company, they would take steps to protect
<v Speaker 1>him whenever he is used. Even though it's not Triple
<v Speaker 1>A television, it's still Monday Night Raw, it's going to
<v Speaker 1>have more visibility. It's like they've taken the opposite approach.
<v Speaker 1>How can we bury this man and make him look
<v Speaker 1>as impotent as possible. I don't understand the logic behind that.
<v Speaker 1>The only thing to explain it is that someone got
<v Speaker 1>to bug up their ass and they're punishing him for something.
<v Speaker 1>But he has every right to be frustrated. He has
<v Speaker 1>every right to feel like, man, I would like for
<v Speaker 1>my booking on Raw to be a little more serious,
<v Speaker 1>you know, like it would be in Triple A. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think that's an unreasonable request, if that's honestly how
<v Speaker 1>he feels like he's had a role on this show
<v Speaker 1>for a long time. As part of the judgment, would
<v Speaker 1>live Morgan in the Chicken ten ds and playing video
<v Speaker 1>games and all that bullshit and running away from people.
<v Speaker 1>But it's time to toughen him up a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>If you're gonna put him in that position, then book
<v Speaker 1>him like a champion. If you're not, then take the
<v Speaker 1>title off of him and then bury him into the
<v Speaker 1>fucking earth. I'm sure they're gonna take the belt off
<v Speaker 1>him next month. Anyway, he's gonna lose it to al Grande.
<v Speaker 1>Is his booking gonna improve at that point? It may
<v Speaker 1>get worse. It's not like the title is certainly helping
<v Speaker 1>him or protecting him.
<v Speaker 2>In some way.
<v Speaker 1>He got on someone's bad side. Maybe he has spoken
<v Speaker 1>out of turn about Creative again. He hasn't spoken about
<v Speaker 1>it publicly, but that report leaked. Maybe that rubbed people
<v Speaker 1>the wrong way. But this is not like a recent thing. Again,
<v Speaker 1>this has been going on for months. This is not
<v Speaker 1>something that's just happened in the last couple of weeks,
<v Speaker 1>and it just doesn't make any sense otherwise unless he
<v Speaker 1>is being punished for something that he said. Byron Saxton
<v Speaker 1>was in the back with Soul Ruka and he asked
<v Speaker 1>Soul about her tag team match coming up a little
<v Speaker 1>bit later on tonight against the Judgment Day Raquel and Roxanne.
<v Speaker 1>She says she's tired of the Judgment Day vortex, that
<v Speaker 1>she's been stuck in. Tonight's all about revenge, and after
<v Speaker 1>she wins, she's going to try to win back her
<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental Championship. It wasn't hard for her to find people
<v Speaker 1>who were also mad at the Judgment Day, which is
<v Speaker 1>the person that she found to be her tag team
<v Speaker 1>partner tonight because she has a mystery partner. And then
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen appeared. This was his lone segment on the
<v Speaker 1>actual TV show. Rodericks says, you would think he was
<v Speaker 1>getting suspended for ped usage with this type of job.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, because he looks like he's been really on
<v Speaker 1>those peds. Oh yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what it is.
<v Speaker 1>But Dan Housen walks in and he says, I'll be
<v Speaker 1>your tag team partner, and Soul says, sorry, the spot's
<v Speaker 1>already filled. Meanwhile, La Knight was talking to Adam Pierce
<v Speaker 1>about this tournament coming up, and he pulled out a
<v Speaker 1>fucking Lutra.
<v Speaker 2>Man.
<v Speaker 1>I joked about this with someone the other day. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>the l in La Knight stands for Luca. Let him
<v Speaker 1>put a mask on and enter the tournament. He had
<v Speaker 1>the mask in his hand and Pierce is like, look,
<v Speaker 1>you're not in the tournament, but I agree with you,
<v Speaker 1>and I promise you. I make a promise to you
<v Speaker 1>right now, when that tournament is over, I will find
<v Speaker 1>a way for you to get your opportunity and become
<v Speaker 1>number one contender. So that just confirms it right there
<v Speaker 1>that we're gonna get La Night in. Roman reigns at
<v Speaker 1>money in the bank. Right, They're gonna hold this off
<v Speaker 1>until the next ple. This tournament is going to culminate
<v Speaker 1>on September fourteenth, so if Pierce is going to give
<v Speaker 1>him the chance to, I guess become number one contender
<v Speaker 1>at some point after that. That's a month right until
<v Speaker 1>money in the bank. Plenty of time for them to
<v Speaker 1>play that out on TV. Put him in a torn well,
<v Speaker 1>they just did a tournament, but put him in a
<v Speaker 1>battle Royal or some some kind of match where he
<v Speaker 1>can win and he could become number one contender and
<v Speaker 1>there's your title match of money in the bank.
<v Speaker 2>I think that's when he gets the shot. Now.
<v Speaker 1>Jacob Fatu was there when Knight turned around, he went
<v Speaker 1>to go walk and there's Jacob fa too. He wants
<v Speaker 1>to know why Night keeps talking smack about his family
<v Speaker 1>and Knight tells Jacob to go talk to your tribal
<v Speaker 1>dad over there. Jacob says, he gets very angry. He
<v Speaker 1>tells him to shut his bitch ass up. Man, He's
<v Speaker 1>gonna dog walk him. He goes through all of his
<v Speaker 1>cash phrases. He was very animated. Here was Jacob Fatu.
<v Speaker 1>I do I do wish La Knight would have entered
<v Speaker 1>that tournament in Aluches, like the whole Wan scene, A
<v Speaker 1>thing that would have been great.
<v Speaker 2>What would he call the BFT? He would need a
<v Speaker 2>different name for like some sort of Ucca name for
<v Speaker 2>the BFT.
<v Speaker 1>We had Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez representing the judgment
<v Speaker 1>Day taking on soul Ruka and her mystery partner, which
<v Speaker 1>turned out to be Eo Sky who lost to Live
<v Speaker 1>Morgan in Summer Slam. Eo caught Raquel with a springboard
<v Speaker 1>moon Salt to the floor. I'm just going right to
<v Speaker 1>the end of this match. Here she caught her with
<v Speaker 1>the Siu Moon Salt to the floor in the ring. Meanwhile,
<v Speaker 1>Roxanne went for pop rocks on Sol. Soul flipped out
<v Speaker 1>of it, and then she hit the Soul Snatcher and
<v Speaker 1>she picked up the win. This got good in the
<v Speaker 1>closing minutes. I mean it was it was solid, It
<v Speaker 1>was fine otherwise, but it got good in the last
<v Speaker 1>couple of minutes. But then later in the back, as
<v Speaker 1>Soul and Eo were walking and they were all happy
<v Speaker 1>about their big win. Here Lyra Valkyria showed up and
<v Speaker 1>she said she was being very facetious and she said, Wow,
<v Speaker 1>what a team you guys make. She's so happy for
<v Speaker 1>Soul getting that win. She bets that Soul's ready to
<v Speaker 1>backflip her way back to Lyra's Intercontinental title. If Lira
<v Speaker 1>hasn't been able to get the belt back, what makes
<v Speaker 1>Soul think that she can. Soul asked her, what have
<v Speaker 1>you done to get a title opportunity, and Lyra told
<v Speaker 1>her go ask Bailey. She said, if Soul gets in
<v Speaker 1>the way of her getting back the championship that she created,
<v Speaker 1>she's gonna regret it. Don't mess with me. She'd be
<v Speaker 1>very careful if she was Soul. She keeps bringing up
<v Speaker 1>Bailey here and there, not that she's been on television
<v Speaker 1>a whole lot, but when she is, even during the
<v Speaker 1>commercials or whatever, when she cuts a promo, She's mentioned
<v Speaker 1>Bailey a whole bunch of times. I'm sure when the
<v Speaker 1>time comes for her to get in the ring with
<v Speaker 1>Seoul where there's like an icy title opportunity at stake,
<v Speaker 1>that'll be where we see Bailey back. Because I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>Bailey will be back and they're gonna run that back
<v Speaker 1>with her and Lyra, I'm sure that she's not done yet.
<v Speaker 1>Also in the back, bron Breaker is walking along, and
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't you know, there's Paul Haman again randomly standing in
<v Speaker 1>the back, just watching the show on a monitor. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>he has been banned from the gorilla position, the way
<v Speaker 1>that The Miz was banned from the locker room all
<v Speaker 1>those years ago for eating chicken over Chris Benwa's bag.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. He's been banished to the hallways. This
<v Speaker 1>is how he has to watch the show. Now he
<v Speaker 1>has nobody to manage anymore. He ditched the vision, Brock retired,
<v Speaker 1>so he's got nobody. So he just stands there. Now
<v Speaker 1>it looks like a video game cut scene where you
<v Speaker 1>got to walk up to the guy and you have
<v Speaker 1>a conversation. So he walks out, I just did theman
<v Speaker 1>the Hayman waddle. So he walks over to Paul Hayman
<v Speaker 1>and he asks Hayman, do you think that Obafemi is
<v Speaker 1>the future? Because at first he goes, I assume you
<v Speaker 1>saw what happened out there. He goes, yes, I did.
<v Speaker 1>Can I ask you a question? He goes, you can
<v Speaker 1>ask me anything you want, bron Breaker, and he goes,
<v Speaker 1>do you think Obafemi is the future? And Hayman's eyes
<v Speaker 1>get all because you know he does want to answer
<v Speaker 1>that question, and he gives some just long winded non answer,
<v Speaker 1>says that he respects Obafemi and he'll keep showing respect
<v Speaker 1>to Obafemi until bron Breaker shows him what that Obafemi
<v Speaker 1>is not worthy of that respect. And so it sounded
<v Speaker 1>to uh, bron Breaker like maybe that was an acceptable answer.
<v Speaker 1>He was kind of intrigued by Hayman's answer when he
<v Speaker 1>put it like that, and then he walked off.
<v Speaker 2>So that was the gist of that.
<v Speaker 1>And again Hayman being involved here. I would hope that
<v Speaker 1>as we go along or at the end of all this,
<v Speaker 1>they kind of link Breaker and Hayman back a get
<v Speaker 1>Breaker the fuck away from this.
<v Speaker 2>The vision shouldn't even be a thing anymore.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, now, if you want to keep Theory
<v Speaker 1>and Logan Paul together, maybe they go back to being
<v Speaker 1>a tag team once Logan's arm is all healed up,
<v Speaker 1>and have Maxine manage them. I think that's fine. Where
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid is going to fit into all this, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. He doesn't need this either. The vision was
<v Speaker 1>a nice idea in theory, no pun intended. It was
<v Speaker 1>a nice idea in theory as far as seth Rollins
<v Speaker 1>being paired off with a couple of guys that they
<v Speaker 1>could sort of not build around. But like obviously, Breaker
<v Speaker 1>at that time was looked at as the future right,
<v Speaker 1>a future world champion. I don't know that they really
<v Speaker 1>ever saw Bronson Read in that role, but Read did
<v Speaker 1>well for himself okay, as part of the original vision.
<v Speaker 1>Once Seth Rollins got hurt, the group was dead.
<v Speaker 2>It was dead. That was it that.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you could, like the Judgment Day, you've had
<v Speaker 1>members leave, you plug new ones, and that's not what
<v Speaker 1>the vision is. Once Rollins got hurt, that should have
<v Speaker 1>and they made the decision not to go with bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker as the de facto leader of the group. Instead
<v Speaker 1>they had Paul Hayman as the leader and bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>went back to being, you know, the bron Breaker he
<v Speaker 1>was before. That should have been the the end or
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of the end of that group. That was
<v Speaker 1>in what was it October November of last year? It's August.
<v Speaker 1>Why is the Vision still a thing? So this group
<v Speaker 1>shouldn't even exist anymore. But if it is going to
<v Speaker 1>continue to exist, then let it exist without bron Breaker.
<v Speaker 1>Bron Breaker now, as compared to where he was a
<v Speaker 1>year ago, nine months ago, the beginning of this year
<v Speaker 1>has been I mean, he has been knocked so far down,
<v Speaker 1>like if he was up here on the ladder, He's
<v Speaker 1>been knocked down so many rungs from where he was.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm tired of hearing people say, well, he got hurt.
<v Speaker 1>Oh he got hurt, right, Okay, Well he had a
<v Speaker 1>fucking hernia, Okay, it happens. It was an unfortunate injury.
<v Speaker 1>He recovered from that, he came back. I know it
<v Speaker 1>stalled his momentum there for a couple of months, but
<v Speaker 1>you can't just blame it on the injury. You blame
<v Speaker 1>it where blame belongs, on the booking. He is colder
<v Speaker 1>now than he was nine months ago, and you could
<v Speaker 1>say that about a lot of guys. It's time to
<v Speaker 1>break him away from this. Him being associated with this
<v Speaker 1>crew is not doing him any good.
<v Speaker 2>It's not.
<v Speaker 1>But putting him with Hayman and keeping them together as
<v Speaker 1>a pairing is something that I think would be in
<v Speaker 1>their best interest, not pairing Hayman up with Oba or
<v Speaker 1>any kind of big swerve. At the end of this,
<v Speaker 1>Hayman's involved in the story, so he's gonna end up
<v Speaker 1>with somebody that somebody should be breaker and not Oba.
<v Speaker 1>But he's kind of a central figure in this story,
<v Speaker 1>so you would imagine that at the end of this,
<v Speaker 1>Hayman's gonna be linked to somebody. So Raymisterio was backstage,
<v Speaker 1>he was chatting with Penta when the Intercontinental Champion Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gable showed up. He put Penta over for his match earlier.
<v Speaker 1>Penta then left and Gable put Ray over for all
<v Speaker 1>the work he's been doing with Triple A and with
<v Speaker 1>his big tournament that he came up with, and so
<v Speaker 1>it got him thinking it would be his honor to
<v Speaker 1>defend the inter Continental Championship against the greatest luchador of
<v Speaker 1>all time. And I thought to myself, well, that's how
<v Speaker 1>that's going to be impossible unless you have a seance,
<v Speaker 1>because how are they gonna get El Santo to challenge
<v Speaker 1>for the Intercontinental Championship. But since he's dead, the only
<v Speaker 1>one left is Ray Mysterio. So he wants to defend
<v Speaker 1>the title against Raymisterio. And Ray said that he would
<v Speaker 1>be honored, and Gable said he was going to go
<v Speaker 1>talk to Pierce about making the match. I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>you want to do Ray Mysterio against Chad Gable, that's fine,
<v Speaker 1>But like, did we not just see Ray Masterio challenge
<v Speaker 1>Penta for the Intercontinental Championship in June and Ray got beat?
<v Speaker 1>So what's the plan here? We're just going to run
<v Speaker 1>this back and have Ray louse again. Is he gonna
<v Speaker 1>challenge every couple of months for the Intercontinental Championship. I
<v Speaker 1>certainly don't want to see it go the other way.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just a little confused here on why they're even
<v Speaker 1>doing this when we basically just saw this two months ago.
<v Speaker 1>Blue Deam Yes, Blue Demon Chad Gable against Blue Demon
<v Speaker 1>for the Intercontinental title. So they closed with Jay Usso
<v Speaker 1>against Solo Socoa. They were having a very standard, very
<v Speaker 1>dull match. When Solo set up for the Samoan spike.
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy USO Big Jim suddenly appeared at a ringside to
<v Speaker 1>distract Solo. Jay caught Solo with a spear, only for
<v Speaker 1>a near fall. Jay went for another spear, got blocked.
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy got up on the apron, Solo hit him with
<v Speaker 1>the spike and he turned around, he got speared. Jay
<v Speaker 1>went up to the top. He came off with an
<v Speaker 1>Uso splash and he picked up the win. And with
<v Speaker 1>that wind, Jay Usso gets to deliver hand deliver like
<v Speaker 1>a Christmas gift. Solo Socoa to Roman reigns next week
<v Speaker 1>and at ten eighteen pm we were off the air,
<v Speaker 1>an early end to Raw tonight. And I'll say what
<v Speaker 1>I said at the beginning. What would this show look
<v Speaker 1>like without the Bloodline or the Judgment Day. It would
<v Speaker 1>look like a completely different show. I don't know the
<v Speaker 1>Triple X would even know what to do. He wouldn't know.
<v Speaker 1>I think he would panic if he couldn't just lean
<v Speaker 1>on the Judgment Day for three, four or five segments
<v Speaker 1>every week and lean on the Bloodline for the same
<v Speaker 1>number of segments every single week. These stories have been
<v Speaker 1>done to death, These groups have been used and abused.
<v Speaker 1>Why are we still doing this? You know, the first
<v Speaker 1>season was really good television. The second season was actually
<v Speaker 1>pretty damn good too. By the time you get to
<v Speaker 1>season six and season seven and season eight, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying it's impossible, but there are very few TV shows that,
<v Speaker 1>by the time you get into the later seasons like
<v Speaker 1>that are nearly as good as they used to be.
<v Speaker 1>The quality tends to degrade the stories. It becomes kind
<v Speaker 1>of harder to tell interesting stories, and eventually the show
<v Speaker 1>gets canceled.
<v Speaker 2>But not in WWE. The show goes on.
<v Speaker 1>It just keeps getting renewed and renewed and renewed. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what season we're on at this point. For
<v Speaker 1>the Bloodline, I think we're in double digits. I think
<v Speaker 1>that's where we are. I've been enjoying Babyface Solo Socoa,
<v Speaker 1>and it feels like, at least temporarily, that may be
<v Speaker 1>going away very soon. So now Solo must rejoin the family.
<v Speaker 1>Or will he that's the question.
<v Speaker 2>Or will he?
<v Speaker 1>We'll find out next week. Now, maybe Solo will spike
<v Speaker 1>Roman instead of like at the moment that he is
<v Speaker 1>supposed to knowledge him. Maybe he'll spike him and he'll
<v Speaker 1>get a big pop for it. Or he could rejoin
<v Speaker 1>the family, you know, temporarily until La Night gets his
<v Speaker 1>match at Money in the Bank and he challenges for
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship, and instead of helping Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>in the moment of truth, he turns against him and
<v Speaker 1>he helps La Nights win the World Heavyweight champion.
<v Speaker 2>Ah.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, I kid i kid I kid I kid i
<v Speaker 1>kid I'm trying out some new material. I'm making my
<v Speaker 1>debut with the Comedy Seller later this week. It's open
<v Speaker 1>mic Night. I just had to try some of my
<v Speaker 1>material out here, work out the kinks. You'll have to
<v Speaker 1>excuse me. We'll see next week what happens. Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>is going to return yet again on the show, and
<v Speaker 1>he'll come out and he'll ask everybody to acknowledge him,
<v Speaker 1>and he'll want Solo Socoa to acknowledge him. And you
<v Speaker 1>know we'll get more bloodlined lore next week. I can't wait.
<v Speaker 1>That sounds so exciting, sounds like a pipe dreamer. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure the La Night fans.
<v Speaker 2>Would love that.
<v Speaker 1>A right Solo Socoa of all people being the one,
<v Speaker 1>like when Roman is expecting him to do the right thing, right,
<v Speaker 1>the referee has been bumped and whatever it is, right,
<v Speaker 1>we need Solo. The USO's are like, come on, Solo,
<v Speaker 1>and Solo is like nah, he spikes them. Everybody pops
<v Speaker 1>BFT one two three. All the La Night fans would rejoice.
<v Speaker 1>You would have to be delusional to think that that
<v Speaker 1>is how they would actually follow through on this. I
<v Speaker 1>think they see a straight line from Roman reigns and
<v Speaker 1>his current run is the world have you waight Champion
<v Speaker 1>to Obafemi or WrestleMania next year, and I think they
<v Speaker 1>want Oba Femi to be the one to end this
<v Speaker 1>run of Romans like Roman had his one thousand, three
<v Speaker 1>hundred and sixteen days, nobody could beat him, not a
<v Speaker 1>singles match. Actually, the only person who I think they
<v Speaker 1>let beat him was his fucking cousin. Nobody else could
<v Speaker 1>If it's if it's cousin, it's okay, it's blood. Anybody
<v Speaker 1>else not okay. It's why Kevin Owens had like fifteen
<v Speaker 1>title shots and lost all fifteen of them. But in
<v Speaker 1>terms of singles matches, he went so long, so like
<v Speaker 1>it would mean more when he finally got beat And
<v Speaker 1>the idea that of all people, if they were going
<v Speaker 1>to interrupt this reign, that they would give it to
<v Speaker 1>La Night. It's just laughable. Have you not paid attention
<v Speaker 1>to this man's booking over the last three years? What
<v Speaker 1>have they done to demonstrate to you that this is
<v Speaker 1>going to go any other way? But if they were
<v Speaker 1>going to do it, I'm just saying that would be
<v Speaker 1>the way to do it. Let Solo be back in
<v Speaker 1>the family for a couple of months, and when the
<v Speaker 1>time is right, bagoom, he drops the hammer, breaks away
<v Speaker 1>from the family, helps La Night win the championship. Not
<v Speaker 1>gonna happen, but Pipe Dream probably Solo beat him to
<v Speaker 1>Did Solo beat him? When did Solo beat Roman? I
<v Speaker 1>don't remember this. Maybe he did more family, so you
<v Speaker 1>may be right. I don't remember this. I know jay
<v Speaker 1>Uso pinned him in that tag match, though. I think
<v Speaker 1>it was money in the bank and that's what led
<v Speaker 1>to tribal combat with him and Roman at SummerSlam and
<v Speaker 1>they had that terrible match. Sampi says, God Almighty, he's
<v Speaker 1>done it. La Knight is the heavyweight champion of the world. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>keep dreaming, Keep dreaming, brother, It's nice to dream. Nothing
<v Speaker 1>wrong with having a dream crown jewel in Saudi.
<v Speaker 2>It's right.
<v Speaker 1>They had that six man tag okay, so two of
<v Speaker 1>his family members had pinfall wins over Roman. I stand corrected.
<v Speaker 1>Instead of one, it was two, Joseph. Still, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>people were asking, like what the likes goal was? We
<v Speaker 1>landed on automatic be the booker, so we can get
<v Speaker 1>an extra round if we hit the bonus goal. But
<v Speaker 1>we are we're guaranteed one round, so that superseded any
<v Speaker 1>sort of likes goal. It's one of those new options
<v Speaker 1>on the wheel. Joseph. I hope you're having a good Monday, brother.
<v Speaker 1>Haven't heard from you in a couple of weeks. Did
<v Speaker 1>I see Joey Janella and Meghan Baine against Nick Wayne
<v Speaker 1>and Alec Price? And what are your thoughts on the
<v Speaker 1>tag match. I did not see it. Alec Price is
<v Speaker 1>very talented, though I'm sure it was a very good match.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, so is Nick Wayne. They're all talented, but
<v Speaker 1>Alec Price in particular has impressed me when I've seen him,
<v Speaker 1>especially on the independence, the matches that I've seen or
<v Speaker 1>called that he's been in. How different would Brock Lesner's
<v Speaker 1>career look today if he would have gone to TNA
<v Speaker 1>instead of WWE. If Paul Haman had gone to TNA,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think he would have been in TNA for
<v Speaker 1>very long. I don't think Brock would have had very
<v Speaker 1>many matches there. I think he would have done it
<v Speaker 1>as a favorite to Hayman. I don't think Hayman with
<v Speaker 1>TNA would have been a long term thing either, and
<v Speaker 1>I think he would have ended up back in WWE regardless.
<v Speaker 1>Is it true that Shane McMahon almost bought ECW before
<v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon bought ECW. No, No, he wanted it, but
<v Speaker 1>it never came close. Vince Vince said no. Vince said no.
<v Speaker 1>Vince said, let it go into bankruptcy and then that
<v Speaker 1>way we can not only get the assets, but we
<v Speaker 1>can get Hayman that that's according to Hayman himself. There's
<v Speaker 1>a lot of things that Shane wanted that Vince put
<v Speaker 1>the Kaibash on. He wanted to buy ECW and run it.
<v Speaker 1>Actually two different times. I think he wanted ECW. He
<v Speaker 1>wanted to run it in two thousand and six as
<v Speaker 1>an online only, like a streaming show instead of being
<v Speaker 1>on TV, and then they could have been a.
<v Speaker 2>Little more risque with it. But I mean streaming.
<v Speaker 1>This was two thousand and six, right, streaming now looks
<v Speaker 1>very different than it did twenty years ago. He wanted
<v Speaker 1>to buy ECW. He wanted to buy Pride Fighting. He
<v Speaker 1>wanted to buy UFC. He wanted his father's validation. He
<v Speaker 1>wanted to show his dad that he could take something
<v Speaker 1>and he can run it and be successful with it,
<v Speaker 1>and then maybe he could be the heir apparent right
<v Speaker 1>in WWA and not his sister. And it didn't work
<v Speaker 1>out that way. Oh, Joseph has been traveling the past
<v Speaker 1>few weeks. That's okay. Where have you been traveling to?
<v Speaker 1>I'd like to go traveling myself soon. Have you watched
<v Speaker 1>the Amazon Prime Batman animated series Season two on? I
<v Speaker 1>have not no, Although I've heard good things about What's
<v Speaker 1>that X Men ninety seven, I've heard good things about that.
<v Speaker 1>What are your thoughts on Tom Holland and Zendia having
<v Speaker 1>the biggest box office draws of twenty twenty six? Good
<v Speaker 1>for them, right, that's Odyssey and Spider Man very impressive.
<v Speaker 1>I've seen the Odyssey. I thought it was great. I
<v Speaker 1>did not see Spider Man because I.
<v Speaker 2>Would like to.
<v Speaker 1>It's not gonna happen, but I would like to try
<v Speaker 1>to go back and watch all of these Marvel movies
<v Speaker 1>in orders, so I can, you know, get to Spider
<v Speaker 1>Man and actually know some of the cameos or the
<v Speaker 1>context behind certain things. So basically, I'm never gonna see it.
<v Speaker 1>That's basically the reality. I'm never going to get to it.
<v Speaker 1>We got awesome Assassin twenty one. Thank you again, Joseph
<v Speaker 1>Buyer cell On who has had the better career, Michael
<v Speaker 1>Cole or Tony Shiavanni the better career, I mean, how
<v Speaker 1>would you define better? Who do I think made more money?
<v Speaker 1>Michael Cole? You know who's had more longevity in one
<v Speaker 1>role for the longest period of time, Michael Cole. But
<v Speaker 1>Tony Shavanni, you know he got what year did he start?
<v Speaker 1>It would have been eighty eighty five or was it
<v Speaker 1>earlier than that. It was probably around eighty five and
<v Speaker 1>author the Jim Crockett promotion days and then WCW and.
<v Speaker 2>Disappeared.
<v Speaker 1>He had one year in WWE disappeared though after WCW
<v Speaker 1>one under he had one rogue, cameo on a TNA
<v Speaker 1>show where he played heel and then came back in MLW.
<v Speaker 1>I interviewed him for the SoundOff. I got a whole
<v Speaker 1>interview with Tony Shavanni. This was during the period where
<v Speaker 1>he was doing commentary for MLW. He had come back
<v Speaker 1>to wrestling and it was like, Wow, Shavanne's bag, this
<v Speaker 1>is great. And then he ended up in AW and
<v Speaker 1>he's been with AW ever since. So he's had a
<v Speaker 1>pretty incredible career himself. But you know, what do you
<v Speaker 1>mean by better career? You know, Shavani's moved around more,
<v Speaker 1>but Cole having the run that he's had for that
<v Speaker 1>many years is very impressive. Buy Er sell on the
<v Speaker 1>Better GM, William Regal in NXT or Dario Quato in
<v Speaker 1>Luca Underground. Oh, Dario Aquato, he was the proprietor, wasn't
<v Speaker 1>the general manager. He was the proprietor of Luca Underground.
<v Speaker 1>And the answer, the correct answer is Dario Aquato. Dario
<v Speaker 1>is the best to ever do it. I'm sorry, he's
<v Speaker 1>number one. He has usurped on the take Tony from
<v Speaker 1>the eighties and nineties, Jack Tunny death sith. If Dark
<v Speaker 1>Side of the Ring can do an episode on Daphne,
<v Speaker 1>who passed away a year after Hannah Kamora, then there's
<v Speaker 1>no reason not to do one on Hana Kamora her
<v Speaker 1>because her story deserves to be told.
<v Speaker 2>I think it will be at some point.
<v Speaker 1>I just don't think that she has the notoriety that
<v Speaker 1>Daphne had. They had like access to TNA footage and
<v Speaker 1>WCW footage. She was more well known to wrestling fans
<v Speaker 1>in that regard, and I think that was an easier
<v Speaker 1>because of that. That was an easier episode for them
<v Speaker 1>to make because of all that footage they had access to.
<v Speaker 1>So that's why they did it. At some point it
<v Speaker 1>would make sense to do an episode on Hannah. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>part of it also was the fact that, you know,
<v Speaker 1>all those terrible things that people were saying about her
<v Speaker 1>on social media that had nothing to do with wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>Those weren't wrestling fans who were making those comments. My
<v Speaker 1>recollection of that story is that it had more to
<v Speaker 1>do with the reality TV show that she appeared on.
<v Speaker 1>She just happened to be a wrestler who appeared on
<v Speaker 1>this reality TV show, and she got a lot of
<v Speaker 1>really horrible comments made about her on social media that
<v Speaker 1>didn't really have anything to do with wrestling. So it's
<v Speaker 1>a dark side of the ring, and maybe that plays
<v Speaker 1>into why they feel like, you know, it's not worth
<v Speaker 1>doing an episode on I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I still feel like at some point they'll do one.
<v Speaker 1>Dry Chicken says I'm watching the two thousand and eight
<v Speaker 1>Iron Chic interview on The Howard Stern Show over Tonight's
<v Speaker 1>Raw on Netflix. Interesting choice. Any updates on Jim Raw.
<v Speaker 1>Jim Ross is undergoing brain surgery on Wednesday.
<v Speaker 2>To have a shunt put in. That is the update
<v Speaker 2>on Jim ross death.
<v Speaker 1>Sithe says, I rewatched Rude Hogan for the WWF title
<v Speaker 1>on January ninth, nineteen eighty eight. I wish WWE would
<v Speaker 1>dub over Rick Rud's WWF theme with his WCW theme.
<v Speaker 1>Who doesn't want to hear simply ravishing and real American
<v Speaker 1>back to back.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's one thing I don't understand.
<v Speaker 1>Like, they played his WCW theme before, so they must
<v Speaker 1>have the rights to it, But every time they dub
<v Speaker 1>over his WWF theme, they dub over it with the
<v Speaker 1>most generic sounding fucking slop. I'm like, just use the
<v Speaker 1>WCW theme's that's an awesome theme too. Yeah, his entrances
<v Speaker 1>have been completely just neutered every time he comes out
<v Speaker 1>in one of these old matches.
<v Speaker 2>It's terrible.
<v Speaker 1>Death Side says those two theme songs are better than
<v Speaker 1>the drizzling elephant size shits that def Rebel loves to
<v Speaker 1>squirt out these days. What he's dubbed over? Are you
<v Speaker 1>talking about the the og themes? I was gonna say
<v Speaker 1>the dubbed over Rick Rud theme is every bit as
<v Speaker 1>bad as any Death Rebel.
<v Speaker 2>Theme I've ever heard.
<v Speaker 1>It's fucking garbage. Philip Bowman, who was mishandled worse Abyss
<v Speaker 1>in TNA in twenty ten or Mike Awesome in w
<v Speaker 1>c oh Mike Awesome two thousand w CW from you
<v Speaker 1>fucking break.
<v Speaker 2>Not even close.
<v Speaker 1>I'll take Abyss in the Magic Hall of Fame ring
<v Speaker 1>over Mike Awesome the Fat Chick thriller In WCW. You
<v Speaker 1>talk about killing a guy dead, Holy shit, Broley says,
<v Speaker 1>WWE Creative could cool off a volcano.
<v Speaker 2>That's true.
<v Speaker 1>GMB Roman is such a nasty politicker. The fact that
<v Speaker 1>he refuses to let any of his family get over
<v Speaker 1>is insanity. No wonder all the top guys went over
<v Speaker 1>to SmackDown. I don't know, Jay Husso got over pretty
<v Speaker 1>good there for a while Without Roman, jay Uso is
<v Speaker 1>not in the spot that he is in one hundred
<v Speaker 1>and ten percent not in the spot now. Unfortunately, Jacob
<v Speaker 1>far Iwo for the time being has been very cooled
<v Speaker 1>off from where he had been previously and where it
<v Speaker 1>looked like he was about to go and then they
<v Speaker 1>pulled back.
<v Speaker 2>That is true.
<v Speaker 1>Death Site says, how is the bloodline benefiting Jacob Fatu?
<v Speaker 1>How is the vision benefiting bron Breaker? And how is
<v Speaker 1>the Judgment day benefiting dominic mysterio. The answer is it's not.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you have to imagine at some point Jacob
<v Speaker 1>fo two is going to break free from this whole
<v Speaker 1>tribal chief nonsense, and then you hope when that day
<v Speaker 1>comes that the fans respond to it and he'll be
<v Speaker 1>on his way. But for the time being, the answer
<v Speaker 1>is it's not benefit any of them, not a single
<v Speaker 1>one of them. It's not benefiting Dom, it's not benefiting Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>and it's not benefiting fatu.
<v Speaker 2>Fa too.
<v Speaker 1>At least you can make more of an argument for
<v Speaker 1>since he's kind of like the enforcer of that crew.
<v Speaker 2>The other two.
<v Speaker 1>There's absolutely no excuse for it. Super Pony, actually, Philip First,
<v Speaker 1>Phillip says, just a dumb thought. But how come when
<v Speaker 1>they do the shield chair spot, one of them has
<v Speaker 1>to be in the help me stepbro position? Yeah, maybe
<v Speaker 1>we could stop doing that spot. How about that super pony.
<v Speaker 1>Punishing someone who organically gets over is what we do.
<v Speaker 1>Triple Fraud voice feel awful for Solo. Dude was having
<v Speaker 1>a great Babyface run. Yeah, I don't think it's not
<v Speaker 1>that it's over. It's just that they're taking a little
<v Speaker 1>detour with it. I don't expect him to join the
<v Speaker 1>bloodline if he does for very long. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>they've necessarily given up on the Babyface run, but it
<v Speaker 1>looks like we may be taking a bit of a
<v Speaker 1>detour for a couple of months. MGM Balin with a
<v Speaker 1>nine ninety nine was an honor to greet you on Friday.
<v Speaker 1>While I was talking to JD, you guys are awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Hog is easily the best wrestling to watch in person.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, live, it's a It's always a fun experience,
<v Speaker 1>especially in that venue. It's always a fun experience. I
<v Speaker 1>was glad you got to experience that, brother, Nick Grosso.
<v Speaker 1>If they have to strip Chelsea Green of the women's title,
<v Speaker 1>then they should give it to Charlotte so they can
<v Speaker 1>build to Alexa turning on her. Maybe when Rhea comes
<v Speaker 1>back her and heal Alexa for the title. Now, I
<v Speaker 1>don't want them to give the title to anyone. Keep
<v Speaker 1>it on Chelsea unless they had a really bad progress
<v Speaker 1>report and she needs surgery and it's like a worst
<v Speaker 1>case scenario, she's not gonna be able to wrestle for
<v Speaker 1>fucking six months. Then at that point you have no choice.
<v Speaker 1>You have to take it off of her. Failing that, though,
<v Speaker 1>keep the belt on her, give it a few weeks,
<v Speaker 1>and then put a mask on her. She can still
<v Speaker 1>pull it off. Prince Vegeta, do you have any idea
<v Speaker 1>as to why. When he returned to WWE in twenty ten,
<v Speaker 1>they changed Brett Hart's classic Jim Johnston theme to that remix.
<v Speaker 1>That remix was kind of track. I think you just
<v Speaker 1>answered your own question as soon as you said, Jim Johnston,
<v Speaker 1>there's your answer. You talk about a buzzkill man. That
<v Speaker 1>guy was gone from television for twelve years. That was
<v Speaker 1>his first appearance on Raw in twelve years. And everyone
<v Speaker 1>is expecting the music to hit, and they hit that
<v Speaker 1>opening chord and then it goes into this fucking remix.
<v Speaker 1>I remember listening to that going eh, talk about ruining
<v Speaker 1>the moment?
<v Speaker 2>What is that?
<v Speaker 1>Phillip says, has the idea of bringing Hog to Pittsburgh
<v Speaker 1>come up?
<v Speaker 2>It has not. We have been to Philadelphia a couple
<v Speaker 2>of times.
<v Speaker 1>We've not had any conversations about We've had conversations about
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of different places that we're gonna be hitting,
<v Speaker 1>but as of this moment, Pittsburgh is not one of
<v Speaker 1>That does not mean that Pittsburgh will not be in
<v Speaker 1>the conversation at some point, it just has not up
<v Speaker 1>to this point. Prince Bageta ninety five got the week
<v Speaker 1>off of work and listening to the stream while building
<v Speaker 1>my new lego Donkey Kong Arcade set. Cheers solo. You
<v Speaker 1>are the best in the game. Lego Donkey Kong Arcade set.
<v Speaker 2>It's interesting. I had gotten the.
<v Speaker 1>Lego game Boy as a gift, maybe around my birthday.
<v Speaker 2>I think it was.
<v Speaker 1>It's pretty amazing what some people have done with it.
<v Speaker 1>If you look online, like on YouTube, there are people
<v Speaker 1>that have put actual.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, thank you Barry.
<v Speaker 1>There are people that have put actual working screens in
<v Speaker 1>the game Boy. In the Lego game Boy. I mean
<v Speaker 1>I could never I wouldn't even know where to begin
<v Speaker 1>with that. I just tried to like start putting the
<v Speaker 1>game Boy together and then realize that I'm pretty sure
<v Speaker 1>it's missing. It's missing a piece, and I just got
<v Speaker 1>so frustrated, Like I just could not I'm convinced that
<v Speaker 1>there's a piece missing. I just threw my hands up.
<v Speaker 1>I said, I'm fucking done with this. Is supposed to
<v Speaker 1>it's supposed to be calming, you know what I mean.
<v Speaker 1>It's supposed to just like be a fun exercise. And
<v Speaker 1>it was driving me nuts and I said, I can't,
<v Speaker 1>I can't do this. Like I know, you can reach
<v Speaker 1>out to them and be like, oh, I'm missing a piece,
<v Speaker 1>and they'll set like no, put it back in the
<v Speaker 1>box and that was the end of that. Hopefully you
<v Speaker 1>have more luck with yours than I had with mine.
<v Speaker 1>I did have luck, however with the Sonic there's a
<v Speaker 1>Sonic level looks like a level right out of a
<v Speaker 1>Sonic game.
<v Speaker 2>That one came out. Well, that was a few years ago.
<v Speaker 2>That was there.
<v Speaker 1>Actually there was during COVID, yeah, because that was before
<v Speaker 1>I was doing the Monday night streams. I was watching
<v Speaker 1>Raw I think at the kitchen table on my iPad
<v Speaker 1>or whatever while I was while I was putting together
<v Speaker 1>the Sonic Lego set, I was like half paying attention
<v Speaker 1>to Raw working on that. I did that for a
<v Speaker 1>few Mondays. Lady Mourn with a five dollars super tent
<v Speaker 1>Dom went from someone I could see getting a twenty
<v Speaker 1>fifteen seth rollin style world title run to someone who
<v Speaker 1>can't buy a single minute of good TV time on WWE.
<v Speaker 1>It is quite something, isn't it. His stock has gone
<v Speaker 1>down considerably considerably, And to think like, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if it was last year or the year before, but
<v Speaker 1>I think he had more matches in a single year
<v Speaker 1>than anybody in the company. Like he was working NonStop
<v Speaker 1>and they had him, you know, he was very visible
<v Speaker 1>on television, like multiple segments. I don't know what happened.
<v Speaker 1>He pissed somebody off. Bace Bears Roman is excellent and overrated.
<v Speaker 2>Do you agree.
<v Speaker 1>I would suggest you tune into the Uncrowned Wrestling Show tomorrow,
<v Speaker 1>so I.
<v Speaker 2>Would suggest you give that a listen.
<v Speaker 1>Super Pony, says ko Is oh for eleven, Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>oh for eleven in world title matches since twenty seventeen.
<v Speaker 1>If he loses in Toronto, it'll be oh for twelve.
<v Speaker 1>A guy of his caliber should not have that on
<v Speaker 1>his resume. Give the man his moment in front of
<v Speaker 1>his home country. I'm here for it. I'd love to
<v Speaker 1>see it.
<v Speaker 2>I hope they do it.
<v Speaker 1>It's Brian Brian Finelli, who was on vacation right now.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, he tweeted me a photo earlier. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if you're are you on a cruise. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if he's on a cruise or not. I
<v Speaker 1>thought maybe you were on a cruise and you docked somewhere.
<v Speaker 1>But wherever he is, I want to be there. He's
<v Speaker 1>on some carab An island, says Shannon, and I had
<v Speaker 1>a good night at the casino, appreciate you solo.
<v Speaker 2>It looks like it.
<v Speaker 1>We got a one hundred dollars bomb from Brian Finelli.
<v Speaker 1>Well enjoy your vacation. I'm very jealous. I wish I
<v Speaker 1>was there. I wish I was in a similar tropical
<v Speaker 1>location right now. Very different when you're on an island
<v Speaker 1>like that or something as opposed to being in New
<v Speaker 1>York the way it's been this week, and it's ninety
<v Speaker 1>degrees in New York, it's not the same as if
<v Speaker 1>it's ninety degrees in Bermuda, or Aruba or Jamaica. Today's

<v Speaker 1>dot com. H Jeremy also says, I think we get
<v Speaker 1>Oba beating Braun whenever they wrestle, probably soon. Then Broun
<v Speaker 1>gets his revenge by cashing in at Money in the
<v Speaker 1>Bank right after Oba wins the title. Oba is not
<v Speaker 1>challenging Roman and Money in the bank. La Knight is
<v Speaker 1>challenging Roman and Money in the Bank.
<v Speaker 2>So that's a.
<v Speaker 1>Fine idea, but it doesn't really work in the way
<v Speaker 1>that you wanted it to. Misfit Wrestling Podcast, What did
<v Speaker 1>you think about the shins Gay Nakamura vignette on SmackDown?
<v Speaker 1>Who is Knakamour bringing with him Noraku or Horomu Takahashi, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>one of those two. I was thinking Nraku, but they
<v Speaker 1>do tend to want to put or keep couples together.
<v Speaker 1>And since EO's on Raw, I don't know if it'll
<v Speaker 1>be Narraku, but it's got to be one of those too. No,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, who else would it be bringing back Iikimanjiro?
<v Speaker 1>I mean who else would it be? Maybe Lord Tenzai.
<v Speaker 1>They're gonna bring him back. Remember Lord Tenzi death side says, Honestly,
<v Speaker 1>I'm starting to think John Sena should have dropped the
<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental title to Penta that Survivor series instead of Dominic Mysterio.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I mean again, there was no thought process to okay,
<v Speaker 1>is this going to actually lead to anything of substance
<v Speaker 1>for Dominic Mysterio.
<v Speaker 2>We just want to put him in there.
<v Speaker 1>So John Sena could give a newer, younger guy the rub.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, just the the opportunities that they have squandered.
<v Speaker 1>It goes back to Wrestlemani at thirty nine when he
<v Speaker 1>gave the rub but to Austin Theory and they proceeded
<v Speaker 1>to do nothing with him.
<v Speaker 2>Nothing.
<v Speaker 1>So many, so many matches, so many wins that should
<v Speaker 1>have meant something, and they meant absolutely, Dick, They meant nothing.
<v Speaker 1>A complete and total waste. Whatever there was for Sena
<v Speaker 1>to give at that point in his career, it was
<v Speaker 1>all a waste, an absolute waste, outside of you know,
<v Speaker 1>the Summer Slam win over Sena that they gave to
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhodes, Kung Fu Joseph Hey solo. This week marks
<v Speaker 1>twenty the twenty fifth anniversary of Austin starting the what
<v Speaker 1>chant Well, that is a dark anniversary that is not
<v Speaker 1>to be celebrated. Super Pony of Creative told you the
<v Speaker 1>only way to get rid of the bloodline forever is
<v Speaker 1>for Roman to be the big dog again. What would
<v Speaker 1>your answer be, I would say, Okay, and then you
<v Speaker 1>put the dog down squandering good things. It's what we do.
<v Speaker 1>It's what we do solo. It's what we do. Hey, Alejandro,
<v Speaker 1>I'm very sorry for your loss, brother. I'm very sorry
<v Speaker 1>to hear that. The best thing you could do is
<v Speaker 1>just one foot forward, one day at a time. There's
<v Speaker 1>really nothing that anybody can say. I mean, you're saying
<v Speaker 1>that happened today, that's awful. That early in the process,
<v Speaker 1>there's really nothing you can do. You just have to
<v Speaker 1>sort of process a loss like that and then just
<v Speaker 1>make sure that you're occupying yourself in some way. You know,
<v Speaker 1>I just try not to just sit around and just
<v Speaker 1>focus on that because it'll it'll just take you to
<v Speaker 1>a dark place. Take your mind off it in any
<v Speaker 1>way that you can, and only really the passage of
<v Speaker 1>time can bring some some relief. You know, there's very
<v Speaker 1>few losses in life as bad as that. You know,
<v Speaker 1>you've got people here that you can hang out with.
<v Speaker 1>And talk to It's the best, the best thing I
<v Speaker 1>can offer you. I wish I could offer you more.
<v Speaker 1>I'm very sorry. Retro Koh says, TFC oh, you're renaming
<v Speaker 1>the BFT. I see TFC traumatismo foreza conduntente. Luca Knights
<v Speaker 1>finish your name says, just stick to the acronym. It
<v Speaker 1>sounds close enough the TFC.
<v Speaker 2>EJ. Slimp says, have you seen No Country for Old Men? Yes?
<v Speaker 2>I have. It's a great movie.
<v Speaker 1>Do you see Anton Chiggers influence on two thousand and
<v Speaker 1>eight to twenty ten? Jericho calm, cold and inevitable. Javier
<v Speaker 1>Bardem is a goat. I mean, Jericho has said he
<v Speaker 1>modeled the character his character after that character, so you
<v Speaker 1>definitely see certain influences in Jericho's character.
<v Speaker 2>No.
<v Speaker 1>Eight, he played it. He played it so well, though,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, very very creepy and unnerving. Death Site says,
<v Speaker 1>I know I pitched Cody and El Grande, but honestly,
<v Speaker 1>I would not mind seeing Cody and raymistereo at World's Collide.
<v Speaker 1>It will probably be the last big match of Ray's career. No,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, the last big match of Ray's career should
<v Speaker 1>be a mask match against his son.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why you think that would be the
<v Speaker 1>last big So you think World's Collide next month is
<v Speaker 1>going to be the last big match of Ray's career.
<v Speaker 1>Why what has been done or said recently that would
<v Speaker 1>lead you to believe that that would be the last
<v Speaker 1>big match of his career unless you don't consider a
<v Speaker 1>like a mask match with his son to be a
<v Speaker 1>big match. If you mean big names, that's possible. No, Cat,
<v Speaker 1>GCW said, you're on your own, Eric, this shit storm
<v Speaker 1>is Oh yeah. They put a statement out of comment
<v Speaker 1>basically saying that they've worked with Eric Cannon before, but
<v Speaker 1>his thoughts, like on the whole aj Styles and his
<v Speaker 1>son's situation, are his thoughts alone, and GCW does not
<v Speaker 1>share those thoughts because I think Avery Styles was in
<v Speaker 1>GCW for that match with Marcus Mathers. I think that's
<v Speaker 1>where the match that he came in for took place
<v Speaker 1>that led to this whole blow up. And if you
<v Speaker 1>don't know what I'm talking about again, check out the
<v Speaker 1>sound off from yesterday. I covered it in the sad
<v Speaker 1>tweet segment Bass Bears. My YouTube auto play feeds me
<v Speaker 1>your members only Q and a VIDs in the middle
<v Speaker 1>of the night when sleeping all the time. I never
<v Speaker 1>tire of them. I'm glad you enjoy them. I just
<v Speaker 1>wish I had more time to do them. Right now,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna have to make some time. I enjoyed doing those.
<v Speaker 2>Well.
<v Speaker 1>I certainly have gotten a big influx of like email questions.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know that I would have to put
<v Speaker 1>a thread up in the community tab here on the channel,
<v Speaker 1>although maybe I would. But yeah, we'll have to do
<v Speaker 1>another one of those soon. Bas Biris also says Mike
<v Speaker 1>Awesome had an awesome theme. Yeah, I mean his theme
<v Speaker 1>song was great, his finisher was great, His theme song
<v Speaker 1>was very, very catchy. Death Side, I can definitely see
<v Speaker 1>Dark Side of the Ring doing an episode on Jeff Hardy,
<v Speaker 1>but at least his story has a happy ending. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they keep the show going, they're gonna have to come
<v Speaker 1>up with material. They won an eighth in a ninth
<v Speaker 1>season Tito with a European five ninety nine. I laugh
<v Speaker 1>when you said that you had a feeling the name
<v Speaker 1>of the person who put in the last minute eight
<v Speaker 1>hundred thousand dollars bet was Gregory mcconnor.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I remember that that.
<v Speaker 1>Last minute almost million dollar bet that came in before
<v Speaker 1>McGregor's fight. Gee, I wonder who put that in? What
<v Speaker 1>is the darkest dark Side episode? I mean, it's it's
<v Speaker 1>kind of hard to I mean, it's kind of hard
<v Speaker 1>to vote against the ben Wah one. That was a
<v Speaker 1>two parter. The ben Wah one was pretty dark. Did
<v Speaker 1>they do one on Grizzly Smith?
<v Speaker 2>I think they did.
<v Speaker 1>If they ever do one on buck Zoom Off that
<v Speaker 1>that'll get the uh, that'll get the win. I'll say
<v Speaker 1>ben Wah. I don't have the list in front of me.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe I'm forgetting one or two that I might rank
<v Speaker 1>above it, But I think I think it has to
<v Speaker 1>be ben Wa or Grizzly Smith. I think they did
<v Speaker 1>one on Grizzly Smith. Face Bear is Chicken or fish Chicken.
<v Speaker 1>If there was a chicken shortage, I would shrink to nothing.
<v Speaker 1>I would just would I would turn to dust. I
<v Speaker 1>need my chicken. Gabriella Valentine, what's going on, Gabriella?
<v Speaker 2>Hello, Gabriella.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think Supergirl will team with Superman in the
<v Speaker 1>next DCU movie or will she just be recast altogether
<v Speaker 1>for yet another standalone one. I mean, did Supergirl perform
<v Speaker 1>well enough to warrant additional movies? I feel like, I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to say it bombed, but I feel like
<v Speaker 1>it didn't do all that well. So are they going
<v Speaker 1>to even continue with it? If they do, I would
<v Speaker 1>imagine that there'd be another standalone film, and then at
<v Speaker 1>some point after.
<v Speaker 2>That maybe there would be a.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of a crossover, but they would have to do
<v Speaker 1>well enough to warrant that. Barry was watching Denise Alcido's
<v Speaker 1>interview with Leo Rush.
<v Speaker 2>I don't get it. What is the character? What is
<v Speaker 2>the story with him becoming this well?
<v Speaker 1>I mean he was doing it on the independence scene previously.
<v Speaker 1>It's an entity that sort of overtakes him. I tell
<v Speaker 1>you what, I'm very happy to see the success that
<v Speaker 1>he has had bringing that back because for the longest time,
<v Speaker 1>you know, coming out on TV and just kind of
<v Speaker 1>being Leo Rush, and he was doing the crew thing
<v Speaker 1>right cru with action Andretti, you know, you were on
<v Speaker 1>a path to nowhere with that.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't going anywhere.
<v Speaker 1>Now he has something that's very unique, and I think
<v Speaker 1>it's entertaining because he's so committed to it and it's
<v Speaker 1>not going to be for every It's like Dan Housen,
<v Speaker 1>It's not going to be for everybody. The problem with
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen is that he was just so fucking just
<v Speaker 1>They abused it to the point where I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to see it anymore. But this character has really brought
<v Speaker 1>him a lot of success that he would not have
<v Speaker 1>otherwise had just this plain old Leo Rush I love it.
<v Speaker 1>Death Side says Demolition got the deaf Rebel special before
<v Speaker 1>deaf Rebel was a thing, back in nineteen ninety. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that was when they were just doing everything they could
<v Speaker 1>to just tear those guys down on the way out,
<v Speaker 1>like they treated them so fucking badly on the way out,
<v Speaker 1>such a disgrace. As soon as they got the Legion
<v Speaker 1>to Doom to come in, it's like they completely lost
<v Speaker 1>interest in Demolition. They just weren't a priority anymore. They
<v Speaker 1>could just beat them like a drum. They changed their music,
<v Speaker 1>you know. I mean they were hot baby faces too,
<v Speaker 1>and they turned them heel and then they lost the belts,
<v Speaker 1>they stripped the music, ax went away. It was just
<v Speaker 1>smashing crush jobbed them out to a couple of Japanese
<v Speaker 1>stars that nobody even I guarantee you nobody in that
<v Speaker 1>building in LA that night even knew who the fuck
<v Speaker 1>they were. You know, Tenru and Katao. Tenru obviously is
<v Speaker 1>a very famous, uh you know, Japanese name in wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>But do you honestly think many of those fans in
<v Speaker 1>the LA Coliseum that night.
<v Speaker 2>Knew who the fuck these people were? Do you think
<v Speaker 2>they knew who Katao was?
<v Speaker 1>They bring these guys in whatever promotion it was, SWS
<v Speaker 1>maybe whatever promotion it was in Japan, and they beat
<v Speaker 1>Demolition in like four minutes at a WrestleMania. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you talk about jobbing these guys out on their way out,
<v Speaker 1>and for Darso, I mean he stuck around.
<v Speaker 2>They just gave him a different gimmick.
<v Speaker 1>But Demolition did not deserve to go out like that.
<v Speaker 2>That was a disgrace.
<v Speaker 1>As it turned out, It's probably a good idea they
<v Speaker 1>didn't do Demolition and Lod at WrestleMania that year because
<v Speaker 1>I think I want to say it was Hawk. I
<v Speaker 1>think Hawk had an injury. That's why they're a match
<v Speaker 1>with Power and Glory went like sixty seconds. I think
<v Speaker 1>Hawk was injured would have been even worse. If that's
<v Speaker 1>the case, it would have been even worse for demolition.
<v Speaker 1>They would have gotten squashed in a minute. Brandy, Bobandy again,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the Gundhar bomb fifty bucks and then
<v Speaker 1>Brian Finelli coming in with a one hundred dollars super chat.
<v Speaker 1>Irenzo says punk ass j and bass Beers says the BLT. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you just go from the b FT to the belt.
<v Speaker 1>You could do that.
<v Speaker 2>That works all right.
<v Speaker 1>Well if you came in late and you missed the
<v Speaker 1>amazing wheel here where we landed on automatic be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>It's only one option for that on the entire wheel,
<v Speaker 1>and we happen to land on it so automatically we
<v Speaker 1>were getting to be the booker here. I am happy
<v Speaker 1>to see that we still hit five hundred and thirty
<v Speaker 1>one likes here during the livestream, so I am happy
<v Speaker 1>about that. But let us go ahead and be the booker.
<v Speaker 2>Ladies and gentlemen. It is now time to be the booker.
<v Speaker 2>Here we go.
<v Speaker 1>We get one round of automatic be the booker, or
<v Speaker 1>at least we get one round for now.
<v Speaker 2>We're one away from the bonus goal.
<v Speaker 1>Actually, and as soon as I said that, Tuxedo t
<v Speaker 1>Servo came in, Yes, tuxedot. Servo said enough, we're hitting
<v Speaker 1>the goal enough, so I take back everything I just said.
<v Speaker 1>We will be doing two rounds of be the Booker, Adie.
<v Speaker 1>You like that? The words barely left my mouth. Then
<v Speaker 1>we hit the goal. All right, So we'll start with
<v Speaker 1>tag team be the booker here London and Kendrick sometimes
<v Speaker 1>forgotten about team from that ruthless aggression era A great team. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>imagine London and Kendrick in their prime from that era
<v Speaker 1>against Phraxium today, because Phraxium reminds me a lot of
<v Speaker 1>these two minus the mask. That would be a great
<v Speaker 1>tag team match. Phraxium is actually inb the Booker, so
<v Speaker 1>maybe we'll actually book it right now, Let's say, uh no,
<v Speaker 1>not Praxium. But the Killer Bees were a pretty good
<v Speaker 1>team back in their time. London and Kendrick. I think
<v Speaker 1>they could have a good one. They could do some
<v Speaker 1>good stuff there with the Killer Bees getting off on
<v Speaker 1>the right foot here.
<v Speaker 2>I like it. That's how it should be. Now.
<v Speaker 1>No card would be complete without a women's match, So
<v Speaker 1>let's go ahead and book one with Medusa the former
<v Speaker 1>WWF Women's champion Alundra Blaze taking on Zaria.
<v Speaker 2>What's she up to.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't been paying close enough attention to what she's
<v Speaker 1>been doing in NXT. Is she wasting away down there
<v Speaker 1>or are they doing some good stuff with her? And
<v Speaker 1>in our main event, Rowdy Roddy Piper where he belongs
<v Speaker 1>in the main event, he's here to kick ass and
<v Speaker 1>chew bubblegum, and he's all out of bubblegum. But he's
<v Speaker 1>going to be stepping into the ring with Kenny Omega. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I know who's winning on promos, at least in the
<v Speaker 1>build up to this match. Kenny Omega's got him licked
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, bell to bell, like it's not even close.
<v Speaker 1>Piper has him licked on the mic and it's not
<v Speaker 1>even close. But you take the in ring ability of
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega and you merge it with the promo ability
<v Speaker 1>of Roddy Piper to sell you on a match and
<v Speaker 1>to just give you entertaining promos. You have the like
<v Speaker 1>damn near the perfect pro wrestler. Maybe if they were
<v Speaker 1>just a little bit taller, but outside of that, you
<v Speaker 1>got the best of one the best of the other.
<v Speaker 1>You put them together, and that's the ideal pro wrestler
<v Speaker 1>right there. That is a dream match. Roddy Piper and
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega. There you go. That's what I like to see.
<v Speaker 1>And now since you unlocked it, you're off to another
<v Speaker 1>dimension where we get a bonus round of be the
<v Speaker 1>booker thanks to our boy Tuxedo t Servo, who got
<v Speaker 1>us over the line. We need some stipulations though, so
<v Speaker 1>we have a parking lot brawl. Who is that that
<v Speaker 1>I spy in the background here in this image? Obviously
<v Speaker 1>we have John Cena. We have it's Eddie, right, It's
<v Speaker 1>got to be Eddie Guerrero in the background.
<v Speaker 2>Is that.
<v Speaker 1>Is that Looth Luther Rains that I see in the
<v Speaker 1>middle there, and then Doug Bashim and Danny Basham. This
<v Speaker 1>is how I could tell it's two thousand and three
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown mm hm, oh three or row four? It's gotta
<v Speaker 1>be oh three? All right, We got ourselves a tag
<v Speaker 1>team parking lot brawl to book the Basham brothers. Remember
<v Speaker 1>when the Bashams were with uh.
<v Speaker 2>What was her name? Oh?
<v Speaker 1>God from from tough enough? She was like the dominatrix.
<v Speaker 1>H what was her name?
<v Speaker 2>Fuck? Is it Monique? I don't know? I forgot her name. Anyway.
<v Speaker 1>We have Jay Usso and Cody Rhoades. God, I forgot
<v Speaker 1>they were tag team champions at one time. Shaniqua Sanik,
<v Speaker 1>I can remember her name, Yes, Nik parking lot role.
<v Speaker 1>Cody and Jay Usso against Cody and Cold Dust. Oh boy,
<v Speaker 1>that's uh. It's gonna be a very interesting match where
<v Speaker 1>we have Cody Rhodes wrestling himself in a parking lot.
<v Speaker 1>Berle Cody against Cody in the parking lot. Hmmm, Oh yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's her name was Linda Miles.
<v Speaker 2>That was her. That was her real name, Linda Miles.
<v Speaker 1>Who wants to see I know you're all very excited
<v Speaker 1>about Cody Rhodes. Who wants to see Cody wrestle himself?
<v Speaker 1>Oh boy, yeah, the Cody fatigue is real?
<v Speaker 2>Is real?
<v Speaker 1>You're gonna have some Cody fatigue there. Ladder match, all right,
<v Speaker 1>we need a women's ladder match. We need a couple
<v Speaker 1>of ladies who aren't afraid to climb, They're not afraid
<v Speaker 1>of heights. They gotta be tall enough to reach up
<v Speaker 1>and pull down the championship. Julia Hart is not one
<v Speaker 1>of those people that I was thinking of. Julia Hart,
<v Speaker 1>I believe, at this exact moment, is in Japan doing
<v Speaker 1>a tournament and I don't know. Is it like some
<v Speaker 1>sort of grand prix? I believe, I believe she's still
<v Speaker 1>over there. Julia Hart, M.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know about this.
<v Speaker 1>Julia Hart and Chris Statlander in a lab match. How
<v Speaker 1>are we feeling about this? I want to throw it
<v Speaker 1>out to all of you here. There's a potential double
<v Speaker 1>sweep riding on this. Yay or nay, buzz or bell.
<v Speaker 1>I'm seeing a lot of bells. I'll take it. They say, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I was, I was a little I was on the fence.
<v Speaker 1>I'll just say that I was on the fence with
<v Speaker 1>that one. I like Statlander. And in our main event
<v Speaker 1>of the evening, we have ourselves a submission match, So
<v Speaker 1>ideally we would land on two wrestlers that have a
<v Speaker 1>submission hold or a submission finish. Ideally doesn't always work
<v Speaker 1>out that way. No pinfalls, no countouts, no disqualifications. The
<v Speaker 1>Ultimate Warrior who definitely does not have a finishing hold
<v Speaker 1>in his repertoire, unless you count the people who would
<v Speaker 1>tap out watching some of his matches. I know we
<v Speaker 1>got a lot of people who were not Ultimate Warrior.
<v Speaker 2>Fans out there.
<v Speaker 1>This is not a stipulation that really lends itself well
<v Speaker 1>to the Ultimate Warrior. That's not the person I was
<v Speaker 1>hoping to land on. The Ultimate Warrior and the British
<v Speaker 1>Bulldog in a submission match. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I
<v Speaker 1>know we were so close, we were very close. That's
<v Speaker 1>just not a stipulation that works for this.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 1>If it was a different stipulation, I might have gone
<v Speaker 1>the other way.
<v Speaker 2>We get no double sweep.
<v Speaker 1>Ultimate Warrior and British even Bulldog doesn't have as fucking
<v Speaker 1>submission hole. But Ultimate Warrior and British Bulldog in a
<v Speaker 1>submission match sounds like sounds terrible. I'm just gonna level
<v Speaker 1>with you, it just sounds terrible. Hey, Daniel Malcolm, with
<v Speaker 1>twenty six months of channel membership, it's been a while,
<v Speaker 1>but glad to be back. Finally got a new job
<v Speaker 1>after a long time, so nice to support the channel
<v Speaker 1>as a member again. Well, I'm glad that you got
<v Speaker 1>a new job, Daniel. I hope it's one that you
<v Speaker 1>will not be miserable at a lot of people are
<v Speaker 1>miserable when they wake up in the morning and they
<v Speaker 1>go to work. They dislike what they do, or they
<v Speaker 1>don't like the people they work with.
<v Speaker 2>Or they hate the commute.
<v Speaker 1>Everyone's got their own reasons. Hopefully it's something that you
<v Speaker 1>can enjoy and that you find fulfilling and.
<v Speaker 2>Pays you well. It's also very important.
<v Speaker 1>Can the warrior at least do a Boston crab I've
<v Speaker 1>never in my life. Maybe a bear hug, Maybe a
<v Speaker 1>bear hug. I cannot think of a single submission hold
<v Speaker 1>otherwise that I have ever seen the warrior reply, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think he would know how to do it. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know that he would know how to do a
<v Speaker 1>figure four leglog. I saw Hogan do one, and he
<v Speaker 1>completely fucked it up, like he put the wrong leg.
<v Speaker 1>It was like it was awful. I can't imagine the
<v Speaker 1>warrior trying to apply a figure four leglock. I can't
<v Speaker 1>imagine the warrior doing a guillotine. I can't imagine the warrior.
<v Speaker 1>I've never even seen him do a sleeperhole. He's probably
<v Speaker 1>put people to sleep, But I cannot think of a
<v Speaker 1>single submission hole that I've seen him do. I've never
<v Speaker 1>seen him do an anacon device or.
<v Speaker 2>A go go plata. Can you imagine that m m
<v Speaker 2>a warrior?
<v Speaker 1>His test of strength with Hogan at Wrestlemandy Okay, now
<v Speaker 1>we're not counting a fucking test of strength.
<v Speaker 2>Get out of here with that.
<v Speaker 1>Warrior actually had a Boston Crab in WrestleFest.
<v Speaker 2>It was hilarious.
<v Speaker 1>Oh man, Yes, the Ultimate Warrior doing a Camora lock, a.
<v Speaker 2>Good old key lock.
<v Speaker 1>Someone tried to pass off a test of strength.
<v Speaker 2>Can't believe that all.
<v Speaker 1>Let's good to these final super chats here, Diego. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>MGM Ballin, you're preaching to the choir about job misery.
<v Speaker 2>Lol.
<v Speaker 1>Working after hours as we speak from home, but still, well, look,
<v Speaker 1>work is work. I'm working right now, but I'm enjoying
<v Speaker 1>myself hanging out with all you guys. Some people aren't
<v Speaker 1>so lucky. Diego says, love you solo. Can I get
<v Speaker 1>a birthday shout out? Yes, you may. I hope you
<v Speaker 1>have a great brace. Is it today or was it yesterday?
<v Speaker 1>Because technically now it's Tuesday. But Diego, I wish you
<v Speaker 1>a very happy birthday and I hope that you get
<v Speaker 1>everything that you're looking for. Misfit Wrestling Podcast by Rent
<v Speaker 1>or Sell Entrance Music Isaac Yankam right to censor or
<v Speaker 1>the original Diesel theme. I am one hundred percent buying
<v Speaker 1>on the original diesel theme. Now, I know the diesel
<v Speaker 1>theme was literally just a truck engine, but there's something
<v Speaker 1>oddly relaxing about that theme. There's actually something musical about it.
<v Speaker 1>Like I enjoy that theme. It's not even a song,
<v Speaker 1>it's a fucking engine, but like I enjoy it. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna buy that one. I'm going to I hate the
<v Speaker 1>right to censor. Well, we'll sell on that, and I
<v Speaker 1>guess we'll rent on the Yeah, but that drill, Ugh,
<v Speaker 1>the dentist drill who wants to listen to that? I
<v Speaker 1>hate that sound. I'm selling on the I'm selling on
<v Speaker 1>both of them.
<v Speaker 2>That's side.
<v Speaker 1>I have a song recommend for everyone, pain by Manasa.
<v Speaker 1>It is a very creepy and badass song Manazama Naza.
<v Speaker 1>So if anybody wants to check out that song, I've
<v Speaker 1>never heard of it before. Pain by Manasa. Derek Jay
<v Speaker 1>speaks solo. You forgot another great Brock moment. Twelve years
<v Speaker 1>ago he told Hogan parties over Grandpa at Hogan's birthday party.
<v Speaker 1>It's right, I forgot about that. Hogan was having a
<v Speaker 1>birthday party and Brock crashed the party and said parties
<v Speaker 1>over Grandpa. That was a great brock Lesner moment or
<v Speaker 1>what he told heat Slater, I don't give a shit
<v Speaker 1>about your kids. That was a good one too. What
<v Speaker 1>about irs is typewriter theme? I don't think he ever
<v Speaker 1>used that though on TV. Right, that was only in
<v Speaker 1>the video game. What game was that? Raw Royal Rumble.
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember him ever actually coming out to the
<v Speaker 1>ring to that though. I thought he just came out
<v Speaker 1>to no music. May is the Great Ultimate Warriors tapping out?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Right?
<v Speaker 1>Well, hey, look, Brett Hart in his book insists that
<v Speaker 1>he was promised he was told, and I don't actually
<v Speaker 1>doubt that he was told this, but the fact that
<v Speaker 1>he would even believe it, though, doesn't speak to his
<v Speaker 1>intelligence when it comes to this that when he won
<v Speaker 1>the championship in ninety two, late ninety two, that he
<v Speaker 1>was going to work with the Warrior at the Royal Rumble.
<v Speaker 1>He ended up wrestling Razor Ramone, But according to him,
<v Speaker 1>he was told he was going to wrestle the Warrior
<v Speaker 1>and Warrior was going to put him over to the Sharpshooter.
<v Speaker 1>Why he would have believed that, I have no idea.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure somebody put that in his ear, But I
<v Speaker 1>mean the fact that he would have even bought that
<v Speaker 1>for a second. I mean, come on, now, can you
<v Speaker 1>I can't even I can't fathom, like, even even in
<v Speaker 1>a video game, let alone in real life. I cannot
<v Speaker 1>imagine the warrior being trapped in the sharpshooter and verbally
<v Speaker 1>because back then there were no tapouts. Verbally submitting to
<v Speaker 1>Brett Hart, it is the stuff of absolute comedy. Absolute comedy,
<v Speaker 1>Peak Navy forty one eighty one. Warrior's Finishing Hold holding
<v Speaker 1>up Vince for Money retro koh The Ultimate Fighting Warrior
<v Speaker 1>Versus Pride FC Hogan book It solo. Oh yeah, Hogan
<v Speaker 1>told that story too, that he was think was it
<v Speaker 1>that he was thinking about or that he was being
<v Speaker 1>recruited for Pride Fighting back in the seventies where Pride
<v Speaker 1>Fighting didn't exist? House of Foxes. Do you think the
<v Speaker 1>two night Rumble would allow for mid Card to flourish
<v Speaker 1>a bit if given direction? I don't like the two
<v Speaker 1>night format. I don't like it. You do it for Mania,
<v Speaker 1>now they're doing it for SummerSlam. This summer Slim didn't
<v Speaker 1>need two nights. Royal Rumble does not need two nights.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want it to go two nights. It is
<v Speaker 1>inevitable that it will, if not next year, the year after.
<v Speaker 1>I do not want to see the Royal rumble go
<v Speaker 1>two nights WWE, the way they do their pls now
<v Speaker 1>and the lack of actual wrestling on these shows. Even
<v Speaker 1>with two nights, it does not warrant two nights. Luis
<v Speaker 1>coming in with a ten dollars super chat. I love
<v Speaker 1>where I work. Never had a miserable day unless allergies
<v Speaker 1>kick my ass. Well that's great. I'm glad that you're
<v Speaker 1>happy at work. Everybody should be. It's not practical, obviously,
<v Speaker 1>but nobody wants to be miserable. Link master. The party

<v Speaker 1>wins Warrior? Obviously? Warrior is not jobbing to Nash. Warrior
<v Speaker 1>is not taking a jackknife power bomb either. Death's Side.
<v Speaker 1>I have a song recommendation for everyone. Oh wait, read
<v Speaker 1>that one already. There was a follow up. Sorry it
<v Speaker 1>is Manzana, not Manaza. I hate auto correct and sorry
<v Speaker 1>sent the same message again. It's nearly six am here
<v Speaker 1>in the UK and I have been drinking a lot
<v Speaker 1>of coffee, well, I mean better coffee. Probably at six
<v Speaker 1>am than drinking other things. If you were drinking other
<v Speaker 1>things at six am, I would say that you have
<v Speaker 1>a problem.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 1>So the song is Manzana RDH Trick loves Taco Tuesday.
<v Speaker 1>Let's taco about it. Let's taco about it, My God
<v Speaker 1>and Super Pony. We know Sammy is getting involved in
<v Speaker 1>Ko and Punk. How would you book a finish where
<v Speaker 1>he does and Ko still wins. I mean, you could
<v Speaker 1>always book it in a way where he, you know,
<v Speaker 1>tries to do something that would cause a disqualification but
<v Speaker 1>it backfires.
<v Speaker 2>How you do that? I don't I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean there's any number of ways that you can
<v Speaker 1>do that. There's like fifteen different ways you could do that.
<v Speaker 1>You could have a ref bump and he comes in,
<v Speaker 1>he wants to help Ko. Ko says, I don't need you.
<v Speaker 1>Get out of here. I told you I don't want
<v Speaker 1>your help. I don't need your help. Cody is roused, right,
<v Speaker 1>Maybe he was down, now he's up and he sees
<v Speaker 1>Sammy and he sees Ko and he's like, oh, you
<v Speaker 1>two conspiring against me, right, and then just kind of
<v Speaker 1>go from there, fill in the gaps. You know, you
<v Speaker 1>could do it in a way where it results in
<v Speaker 1>Ko winning the championship, and I hope they do. I
<v Speaker 1>want to see him win the bell. I said Cody,
<v Speaker 1>I meant punk. By the way, I still think Cody
<v Speaker 1>is the champion. He's been championing for so fucking long.
<v Speaker 1>Super Pony says, oh, we just read that one. I
<v Speaker 1>thought I saw a new one. Anyway, I think that
<v Speaker 1>covers all of them. I tried to answer them as
<v Speaker 1>best I could, and we had a couple of rounds
<v Speaker 1>to be the booker. That was fun, so all good shit.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you guys for a fun Monday night stream. I
<v Speaker 1>like to kick off the week with all the energy.
<v Speaker 1>Next time I'm gonna be Live with you will be
<v Speaker 1>the Dynamite post show here on Wednesday, But first we
<v Speaker 1>have the Uncrowned Wrestling show dropping tomorrow, and then Tomorrow
<v Speaker 1>night over on JD's channel will be a brand new
<v Speaker 1>Tuesday Titans, and then Dynamite on Wednesday SmackDown. I'll be
<v Speaker 1>back for SmackDown on Friday. Can't wait to see the
<v Speaker 1>end of Oak Street on Thursday. I've been waiting to
<v Speaker 1>see this movie for a very long time since it
<v Speaker 1>was first announced, so I'll be seeing that later this week,
<v Speaker 1>be well, stay safe, Ricky says, stay away from Taco Bell. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>that's good advice. Stay away from Taco Bell. Be well,
<v Speaker 1>stay safe, have yourselves a great rest of your night,
<v Speaker 1>and come on back on Wednesday. Even if you don't
<v Speaker 1>watch Dynamite, come hang out anyway for the Dynamite post show.
<v Speaker 1>I'll see you guys there. Until then, take care, guys,
