[UNKNOWN]: Michael Mera, Radio Entertainment.
[UNKNOWN]: this is to radio that go where you go medium go radio that's with you every night through the long commuter fight and in the morning with your
[UNKNOWN]: Who listens to radio, no matter if it's a moment just bring a fall Who listens to radio, only 150 million 150 million people, that's all
[UNKNOWN]: I promise, be like in his story, by now.
[UNKNOWN]: Folks, your buddy Rob, the big boss with the hot sauce, your daddyo on the radio was stacks and stacks of red hot wax.
[UNKNOWN]: My flat friends the records and it's been a while since we've done Rob radio That's why there's reverb on my voice.
[UNKNOWN]: I want to say thank you for joining us today on a Friday Sunday is August 16th and that may or may not mean anything to you, but to me it means that it is the 49th anniversary
[UNKNOWN]: of Elvis passing away.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis died August 16th, 1977 in his home in Memphis, Tennessee, and I've been done in Elvis themed Rob Radio and quite some time, and I think it's time to do it.
[UNKNOWN]: Today we're not going to focus on big fat bloated purple Elvis, no, no.
[UNKNOWN]: Today we're going to focus on the music.
[UNKNOWN]: because the music stands the test of time and if you saw the recent movie Elvis epic Elvis Presley in concert or maybe a few years ago you saw the Austin Butler movie Elvis I think that even though the original fan base of Elvis Presley sadly and truly is dying aging out
[UNKNOWN]: Anyone that sees really what Elvis brought to the table musically is impressed.
[UNKNOWN]: And I hope some of the nonsense fades away as the years move on.
[UNKNOWN]: And today I'm gonna play you a stack of my favorite Elvis Records.
[UNKNOWN]: I hope you enjoy it.
[UNKNOWN]: I know I'm going to do it.
[UNKNOWN]: A fun time putting this stack of records together.
[UNKNOWN]: And we hit upon a lot of my favorites.
[UNKNOWN]: So before we start, I do think we need to look back
[UNKNOWN]: Figure out what happened on that day, August 16th, 1977, let us think back and remember the passage of the King of Rock and Roll.
[UNKNOWN]: 1977 Excuse me, Colonel.
[UNKNOWN]: Do I spasito's on the phone from Memphis?
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, Joe.
[UNKNOWN]: Colonel, I'm at Babs Memorial Hospital.
[UNKNOWN]: Fred, I've got some terrible news.
[UNKNOWN]: See the S news, Elvis Presley, the one-time king of popular music is dead at the age of 42.
[UNKNOWN]: Presley was tricking this afternoon and his mansion in Memphis, Tennessee, and rushed to Baptist Hospital.
[UNKNOWN]: Presley helped revolutionize popular music in the 1950s, his playing guitar and jirating hips, made him a teenage idol as well as a fortune.
[UNKNOWN]: Man, I was tame compared to what they do now.
[UNKNOWN]: Are you kidding?
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis Presley died today.
[UNKNOWN]: He was 42.
[UNKNOWN]: Apparently it was a heart attack.
[UNKNOWN]: His doctor pronounced him dead at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
[UNKNOWN]: He ended at an early age of one of the two most spectacular careers in the history of American entertainment.
[UNKNOWN]: But I like to all have a museum.
[UNKNOWN]: I just, I don't know how to do music.
[UNKNOWN]: Done fans mill around the gates of Elvis Presley's White Haven mansion this afternoon while scores of fans, friends, and show business celebrities pour into Memphis for funeral services tomorrow for the King of Rock and Roll.
[UNKNOWN]: Singing rhythm and blue rhythm knocks it out.
[UNKNOWN]: I watch my audience and listen to them and I know that we're all getting something out of our system and I don't know if that's what it is.
[UNKNOWN]: Important thing is that we're getting rid of it and nobody's getting hurt.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis Presley's body just arrived here at Graceland.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis's coffin was taken from the herst and placed in the mansion's music room.
[UNKNOWN]: At three o'clock the fans started filing in for their last few of Elvis.
[UNKNOWN]: The coffin was open.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis was dressed in a white suit, blue shirt, and blue tie.
[UNKNOWN]: And ammonium is broken out here on Elvis Presley Boulevard in Memphis.
[UNKNOWN]: Thousands of fans from all over the country are converting on Graceland trying to get in to view the body of the 42-year-old King of Rock and Roll.
[UNKNOWN]: The world is shocked by Elvis Presley's sudden death after attempts to save his life for you.
[UNKNOWN]: There's so many pleasures that I haven't been yet.
[UNKNOWN]: I've never played New York here.
[UNKNOWN]: I've never been to Britain either, you know, I'd like to go to Europe and I'd go to Japan and I'll explain So I've never been out of this country except in the service doctors say he may have suffered a heart attack However, it spokeswoman for the Memphis Police Department says detectives are investigating what you called and we quote the strong possibility that that may
[UNKNOWN]: have been the result of a drunger over there.
[UNKNOWN]: I was raised on Elvis.
[UNKNOWN]: We started when I was 10 years old and my mother and daddy loved it.
[UNKNOWN]: And I just say I was raised on him.
[UNKNOWN]: There's nobody else like him.
[UNKNOWN]: It won't ever be anybody else like him as far as I'm concerned.
[UNKNOWN]: Why didn't quite go to all this girl?
[UNKNOWN]: Because we love helpless.
[UNKNOWN]: We still do.
[UNKNOWN]: You're not going to get in you.
[UNKNOWN]: Then make an indifference.
[UNKNOWN]: We loved him pretty much.
[UNKNOWN]: What do you black or white?
[UNKNOWN]: Whether you're country, redneck, or freak, young, or old, from Moscow, London, or Memphis, Elvis Presley will still be the king of rock and roll to me.
[UNKNOWN]: So hush, little baby, don't you cry.
[UNKNOWN]: It doesn't even matter a great deal whether you like Elvis or not.
[UNKNOWN]: They change it our lives.
[UNKNOWN]: You know, you're the daddy.
[UNKNOWN]: bound to die.
[UNKNOWN]: So we're a lot of other people, parts of our lives, but they didn't change things.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis Presley did.
[UNKNOWN]: He changed the way, then teenage America thought about things about public entertainers, and pop music, and popular attitudes towards living and behaving and dressing and talking.
[UNKNOWN]: And so, when he died at the age of 42, people felt a sense of loss.
[UNKNOWN]: Whether they ever like to sing and run off,
[UNKNOWN]: So that's how it ended in 1977, but here's how it began.
[UNKNOWN]: In 1954, it's some records in Memphis, Tennessee.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, that's all right, Mom.
[UNKNOWN]: That's all right, be you.
[UNKNOWN]: That's all right, Mom.
[UNKNOWN]: Just anyway, if two of that's all right, that's all all right.
[UNKNOWN]: That's all right, Mom.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, I'm a shit, I don't know me Pop it, I don't know me, too So, that guy you foolin' with, she ain't not gonna play you with that's all right That's all right That's all I'm on my mind
[UNKNOWN]: I'm living, I'm leaving time to show Well, then you won't be bothered With me hanging around, you'll go but that's all right That's all right That's all around the moment Anyway, do I've got a D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D
[UNKNOWN]: All right, that's all, all in my mind, anyway, do.
[UNKNOWN]: July of 1954, an Elvis's first hit record that was Elvis, Scotty, and Bill.
[UNKNOWN]: But now, little rock-and-roll music with big, huh?
[UNKNOWN]: Hey, baby.
[UNKNOWN]: I ain't asking what you.
[UNKNOWN]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no baby.
[UNKNOWN]: I ain't asking what you.
[UNKNOWN]: You're supposed to break up, you go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go,
[UNKNOWN]: But I ain't greedy, baby, all I want is I'll go, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
[UNKNOWN]: And my pocket I got a red food around my wrist And I have everything My lucky chance to bring If you're giving me just a win Give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me

[UNKNOWN]: Girl, girl, girl, girl, you're gonna set me on fire My brain is flaming, I don't know which way to go Your kiss will live behind Like a sweet soul of a fighter You lie my lord
[UNKNOWN]: I feel like just with you, right?
[UNKNOWN]: Helium flame, almost feel longer than that.
[UNKNOWN]: Burn, burn, burn, and nothing can prove me.
[UNKNOWN]: I just returned to smoke, but I...
[UNKNOWN]: We're so far away, and I'm all in shock I've heard love Here's got me closer, the flame that I'll lick in my body
[UNKNOWN]: Don't you help me, I feel like I'm slivering away It's hard to breathe, my chest is a human For the mercy, I'm burning the whole world away It gives me little desire Like a sweet soul of fire
[UNKNOWN]: Kids Rob Brady are observing the 49th anniversary of the passing of Elvis Pesley and Burn and Love now Elvis here is live in concert doing one of his own songs, but also doing some Beatles action right here on Rob Brady
[UNKNOWN]: The sisters don't you know what your name says to them?
[UNKNOWN]: Well, I dated your big sister Where I left to her to show How else for some candy?
[UNKNOWN]: I can't tell them they're just not right out to do The sisters don't you?
[UNKNOWN]: The sisters don't you?
[UNKNOWN]: Let's test it all, would you kiss me once or twice and say it's paradise and then you're wrong?
[UNKNOWN]: Let's test it all, do what you'll make, let's test it Hangin' back, hangin' back, hangin' back, hangin' back, hangin' back, hangin' back, hangin' back, hangin' back, hangin' back

[UNKNOWN]: I'm not even sure that I can.
[UNKNOWN]: Rob's feedback with you, oh, buddy, Rob, you're daddy-o on the radio.
[UNKNOWN]: And I got my flat friends, the record's here, was we salute Elvis Presley.
[UNKNOWN]: Marking 49 years since the man passed away to put that into perspective, he only lived to be 42 years old.
[UNKNOWN]: And this is a little less conversation to live.
[UNKNOWN]: Thank you very much.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh baby, I'm tired, talkin'
[UNKNOWN]: Maybe I'll try and talk in.
[UNKNOWN]: Where you go, let's start walking.
[UNKNOWN]: If you're pardon the expression, that is a boss record, but it never went to the top of the charts like this one did or you'll love this If you can find a partner, use a wooden chair, let's do the jailhouse rock
[UNKNOWN]: Find them every plate, it's in a sack, it's a phone Little Joe and blowin' on the slide drum bone From above them, out of nowhere, crash boom bang Oh, rhythm, sitin' while they're playin' ball game
[UNKNOWN]: Now I'm the 47's at the moment, my three, but you're the cutest damn bird I ever did to see I should have been delighted with you bumping me, come on and do the jail I'd rob a little bit of that
[UNKNOWN]: The one who said anybody don't you be no square You can't find a body to use the wood Who jailed that drawer And was why I didn't let her run Everybody in the old man's cell run Was there to do the jail right?
[UNKNOWN]: Shifting in the second books for heaven's sake And wanting to look at not a chance to make a break Well, the time to shift in and say the next next I want to stick around and want to get in my kick
[UNKNOWN]: I'm consistently rated as one of his favorite records by listeners everywhere.
[UNKNOWN]: Jail Out Rock, that's Elvis Presley.
[UNKNOWN]: Now what I'm gonna play next is so cool.
[UNKNOWN]: This comes from that Elvis movie that came out this year called Epic.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis Presley in concert, this is not an Elvis song because this was created in the studio by putting together two Elvis songs that already existed.
[UNKNOWN]: Nightlife and where in that loved one look this is called wearing that nightlife look and if you don't like this folks I have to be the one who inform you.
[UNKNOWN]: You got something wrong with your wiring because this is a killer record It's a Rob Radio on the Michael Marish Show as we observe Elvis Devdate 20 26
[UNKNOWN]: You Baby Baby Well, not a little bit He's like a spirit And I don't know what to do Oh, the means are a flea man The canals are a dream and oh It's a nightlight Yeah, nightlight But chips go a spell and it's...
[UNKNOWN]: All the pockets fall apart in and the money But there's the dice go a turn in and you hit snake I love you can't be a quarter when you caught up in the glitter all that And I love you
[UNKNOWN]: But jails go a spillin' and it's time to make a killin' Oh, it's nightlight and nightlight Won't that block it fall apart and I'm the monitor Files, the dice go a turnin' and you hit snake Eyes, you can't be a greater one You caught up in the glitter all that nightlight Nightlight, nightlight And now we just show them we're very proud to present
[UNKNOWN]: Just play the hell out of the-
[UNKNOWN]: Don't look I told you it was a great record
[UNKNOWN]: But in her next morning, he brought my letter back She wrote a bullet, return the sender At the press on note, no such note, no such note We had a quarrel, a lover's back
[UNKNOWN]: I write, I'm sorry, but my letter keeps coming back So when I dropped it in the mailbox, as in a special day Bright and early next morning, it came right back to me She wrote about it, return to soon Address on note
[UNKNOWN]: No such person, no such tone This time I'm gonna take it by itself And put it right in her hand And if it comes back, the very next step Then I'll understand Running on it, return to send it Add dress fun, no
[UNKNOWN]: You see Elvis never loses to me.
[UNKNOWN]: I said Elvis, you should have texted her.
[UNKNOWN]: Things that we need too good for Would make my dreams conquer Just call my name And I'll be right by your side I want your sweet, healthy head
[UNKNOWN]: My love's too strong, too high Oh, he lived very quite life I ain't never did no wrong No, I know, I'm alive without you
[UNKNOWN]: Too long, it too long, one night with you Here's what I've been for All things that we need to put well Put me on my dream, I'm home
[UNKNOWN]: I know my life will not even spin too long, it too long, won't I?
[UNKNOWN]: Who would make my dreams come true?
[UNKNOWN]: Perhaps you have a young youngster in your household, make him up and I say, what is that?
[UNKNOWN]: You tell them that is rock and roll.
[UNKNOWN]: That's Elvis Presley with one night with you.
[UNKNOWN]: As we observe Elvis's death day 2026, what's falls on this Sunday, August 16th.
[UNKNOWN]: Thank you for spending one night with me.
[UNKNOWN]: Your old buddy Rob, you might not be listening at night, but I'm recording this at night.
[UNKNOWN]: And I want you know, this is not digitally put together, this is me sitting down with a box of records and listening to them with you because this music is very important to me.
[UNKNOWN]: Music is useless if it is not shared.
[UNKNOWN]: So I like to share this music and if you're an Elvis fan, I hope you're enjoying it and if you are a new recruit.
[UNKNOWN]: I hope you are finding out some stuff about the King of Rock and Roll musically that you never knew existed.
[UNKNOWN]: We're going to step away for a moment and when we come back, we got a request today on the Michael Marizzo in the chat during the show.
[UNKNOWN]: Someone wanted to hear the song in the ghetto.
[UNKNOWN]: Good call, but I'm going to play you in the ghetto.
[UNKNOWN]: Like you've never heard it before.
[UNKNOWN]: It's an amazing version that really features Elvis' voice and the production is choice and we'll do it after this on Rob Radio and if you miss a little you miss a lot.
[UNKNOWN]: I promised you before the break we were going to play in the ghetto and we're going to this is a remix from the epic movie that came out this year but a quick word Elvis was not known
[UNKNOWN]: to record socially conscious records.
[UNKNOWN]: So this was out of Elvis's so-called comfort zone and I think it's surprised a lot of people but it sure is a great song and I think you're gonna dig.
[UNKNOWN]: This is called
[UNKNOWN]: And his mama cries Cause if there's one thing she don't need is another hungry mouth to feed in the ghetto A people don't you understand?
[UNKNOWN]: Which I need to help you
[UNKNOWN]: I hear you grow to be an angry young man someday I take a look at you and me Are we too high and to see Do we simply turn our lives and look The other way Well the world turns
[UNKNOWN]: You never stood in that man's shoes, or saw things through his eyes, or stood in watch to help his hands, while the heart inside your eyes.
[UNKNOWN]: So help your brother along the way, no matter where he starts.
[UNKNOWN]: But the same God that made you, made him to, these men with broken hearts.
[UNKNOWN]: And a hungry little boy with a running nose plays in the street as a cold wind blows in the ghetto And his hunger burns So he starts to roam the streets at night And he learns how to steal and he learns how to fight in the ghetto
[UNKNOWN]: One night in desperation, the young man breaks away He buys a gun, steals a car, tries to run But he don't get far and his mama cries As a crowd gathers round an angry young man Face down in the street, where the gun is handed me get it to
[UNKNOWN]: And as for young men, there is On a cold and grey Chicago, morning, another little baby child is born In the ghetto That is a mama cry
[UNKNOWN]: So I hope your brother along the way, no matter where you start, but the same God that made you, made him too.
[UNKNOWN]: These men with broken hearts.
[UNKNOWN]: Beautiful.
[UNKNOWN]: I Elvis recorded this on stage in February of 1970.
[UNKNOWN]: It's called Walk a Mile in My Shins.
[UNKNOWN]: If we can find a way, we'll get inside Each other in my heart Oh, I can see you through my heart Instead of your ego I will leave it be, I will leave it be It's a gratitude that you've been in blind Oh, I'll walk around and brush you Oh, I'll walk around and brush you
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, before you will be as good as size, I'd like you to walk around in my shoes I've wished for the day, through and stone, and one another Those I don't think, those I don't think, or were my hair Same way you do, oh oh
[UNKNOWN]: And when you strike out, and try to hurt me, it's a hurtin' to you Lord help us to walk them all in my shoes And walk them all in my shoes Give it all you will be who's gonna say That I can't even walk them all in my shoes
[UNKNOWN]: Now the people, home reservations and out in the ghetto And brother there, for the grace of God, who are you and God?
[UNKNOWN]: Well if I only had to wait, all of the angels Don't you know I fly to the top of my land, and then I cry
[UNKNOWN]: You can't afford you, if you've been a size I'd have to kill you all the while in my shoes.
[UNKNOWN]: You can't afford you, if you've been a size I'd have to kill you all the while in my shoes.
[UNKNOWN]: You can't afford you, if you've been a size I'd have to kill you all the while in my shoes.
[UNKNOWN]: You can't afford you, if you've been a size I'd have to kill you all the while in my shoes.
[UNKNOWN]: You can bet Elvis's shoes were white and very fancy.
[UNKNOWN]: That's Walker Mile in my shoes.
[UNKNOWN]: I think this might be one of the first heavy metal songs ever recorded.
[UNKNOWN]: Check out the guitar.
[UNKNOWN]: If much, I have to share your heart If too much, who and I want some love You're the God Don't you know your dream You're the God Now you got to start it Don't you leave it for good
[UNKNOWN]: You're the love of us all the time You need your hug I'm leaving mind You need you, nearly Stay in our trust Please, please hear me You're the most The lie you got is started Don't you leave me Look at heart, you're the love You look at me
[UNKNOWN]: Every time I kiss you, I feel this, I can feel my heart, I feel a flip, flip, I'm such a fool for nothing, you're the charge, King me back to baby, and you're lost, like to hear you say, and even though you're alive,
[UNKNOWN]: You love, love, love, all time The need to you love, love, love I don't need to be mine You need to be mine I don't stay with the closer I need to be the hero I'm your most Now you got me started Don't you leave me broken I wanna go
[UNKNOWN]: Tell you what that record is too much and it is too boss.
[UNKNOWN]: Now today as we observe Elvis's death day 2026 I'm playing some obscure stuff, but maybe you've heard this one was something of a big hit
[UNKNOWN]: But who hired this true?
[UNKNOWN]: Baby, you're for me, you're there Something I might have said Please, you're not forgetting my past The future looks bright, I hate it, I don't be cruel But who hired this true?
[UNKNOWN]: I don't want no other love But baby, it's silly you are
[UNKNOWN]: Don't stop the hanging up, I don't make my feelings with Come on, I'll be here, I love you Hey, no, what I want to do?
[UNKNOWN]: Say, I don't be cruel Do I have this true?
[UNKNOWN]: Why should we be apart?
[UNKNOWN]: I really love you baby, girl, so much
[UNKNOWN]: Let's walk up to the pre-jump, and let's say high-dip-pump We'll know you'll have a fun, fun, fun, fun I'll have you if I don't be cruel Do I have to struggle?
[UNKNOWN]: I don't want no more than love Or baby it's still you are You're gonna love I don't be cruel Do I have to struggle?
[UNKNOWN]: Hey, it's your old buddy Rob and I mentioned that that was sort of a big head.
[UNKNOWN]: I kind of undersolded first off, it is a perfect record.
[UNKNOWN]: It did spend a long time at number one.
[UNKNOWN]: In fact, it had the longest run at number one and it stayed at that having that record for four decades.
[UNKNOWN]: Boys to men eventually unseated it, but you know what?
[UNKNOWN]: That's a pretty good run.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, and by the way, I know what you're dying to ask me.
[UNKNOWN]: You're saying you want to go up to me and you want to say, hey, Rob, did Elvis ever do a cover of a Lilian Newton John?
[UNKNOWN]: Well, yes, he did.
[UNKNOWN]: I think he thinks it better than she does.
[UNKNOWN]: Let me be there.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis Presley on Rob Radio.
[UNKNOWN]: Wherever you go, wherever you may wonder in your life, surely you're known.
[UNKNOWN]: I always want to be there Holding your hand Testing about a catcher when you fall Seeing you through It everything you do I said let me be there in your heart Let me be there in your life Let me change whatever's wrong Let me change everything
[UNKNOWN]: And going through the changes in your life But that's how I know I always want to be there Whatever you feel You need a friendly name Whatever you call
[UNKNOWN]: The dreams are never wrong And make it right And goodbye Let me taste you just like one
[UNKNOWN]: And make it right for you, and make me taste you To the wonderland that I want, to get you Oh, I ask you
[UNKNOWN]: Let me be there in your mind Let me be there in your mind Let me change forever and forever And make it right Let me take you
[UNKNOWN]: recorded live on stage in Memphis, Tennessee in 1974.
[UNKNOWN]: Let me be there.
[UNKNOWN]: Now, something that's sort of hard to fathom is that when Elvis got his start, he didn't have a drummer.
[UNKNOWN]: He just had Elvis and Scotty and Bill, two guitars and a base.
[UNKNOWN]: When he finally did incorporate drums into his band, he kind of made them count.
[UNKNOWN]: Here's a cover of Arthur Big Boy product called my baby left me as we celebrate all this lady here on Rob Radio.
[UNKNOWN]: There's my baby left me never set away.
[UNKNOWN]: Once it's something I don't, something else you heard my baby left me.
[UNKNOWN]: My baby left me.
[UNKNOWN]: My baby even left me never set away.
[UNKNOWN]: But I stand at my window, bring my hands of crime I hate to lose, I don't want my hate to say goodbye You know she left, I guess she left I'm baby, even love me, man
[UNKNOWN]: You look for me, baby, and daddy will know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know
[UNKNOWN]: Don't I be the one who knows you love me?
[UNKNOWN]: I be the one who loves me, never set a loop.
[UNKNOWN]: My baby even left me that's Elvis Presley and in the summer of 1970 B. J. Thomas put out a record in June it was called I just can't help believe him
[UNKNOWN]: And two months later, August in 1970, Elvis covered it on stage in Las Vegas and put it on the album that's just the way it is, where Elvis, that's the way it is, it's pretty good.
[UNKNOWN]: I just can't help believing When she's lying close beside me And my heart beats with the rhythm of her size This time the girl is going to stay
[UNKNOWN]: This time the girl is gone standing for more than just a day All I just can't ever believe when she slips her hand in my head and it feels a small and helpless and my fingers fall around it the lucky girl
[UNKNOWN]: I just can't help believing when she's whisperin' her magic and her tears are shining on this we will love this time the girl is going to stay
[UNKNOWN]: This time the girl is gonna stay I'm all in just today
[UNKNOWN]: All I'm just a day Who wants to stay in the city?
[UNKNOWN]: I'm just staying in the city Who wants to stay in the city?
[UNKNOWN]: Who wants to stay in the city?
[UNKNOWN]: For more than just a day Or I just can't help be leaving Which is lips her hand in my head And it feels so small and helpless That my fingers fall around it like a glow
[UNKNOWN]: I just can't help but believe it She smiles with a smile magic And her tears are shining on her sweet willow
[UNKNOWN]: This time the girl is going to stay Time the girl is going to stay This time the girl is going to stay More than just a day
[UNKNOWN]: Now I want to be clear, the album was called, that's the way it is and it's the soundtrack to the movie, that's the way it is, I want to make sure
[UNKNOWN]: I get that right, where I lose my DJ card.
[UNKNOWN]: Of course, Elvis messed the lyrics up, so I guess nobody's perfect.
[UNKNOWN]: Long before the days of AI, they did a couple of Elvis remixes.
[UNKNOWN]: This one is by Paul Okenfield, song is called Rubber Meckon right here on Rob Radio.
[UNKNOWN]: You're watching, you're home by myself
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis death day, 20, 20, six.
[UNKNOWN]: Did you want to talk about world's colliding?
[UNKNOWN]: I know I love Elvis Presley as a singer, but one of the female backups on that is Darlene Love, another of my favorites, and someone I've kissed, but that's a story for another time.
[UNKNOWN]: Now, before we move on, there are several Elvis voices that he would use when he would sing yet.
[UNKNOWN]: Is rock and roll voice, he had his quiet ballot voice, but one of my favorites is when Elvis would use the big voice.
[UNKNOWN]: You said you would always stay It wasn't me who changed what you and now you're going I don't you know
[UNKNOWN]: Now I have to follow you and beg your turn, come on.
[UNKNOWN]: You don't have to say you love me, just be close to him.
[UNKNOWN]: You don't have to stay forever, I will understand.
[UNKNOWN]: I can't help but love you But believe me, I've never tied you down Left alone Just a memory Life seems dead And so I'm real
[UNKNOWN]: You don't have to say you love me, just be me close again.
[UNKNOWN]: You don't have to stay forever.
[UNKNOWN]: I will understand.
[UNKNOWN]: And say, you love me, just be close ahead.
[UNKNOWN]: You don't have to stay forever.
[UNKNOWN]: I will understand.
[UNKNOWN]: Now this is story and but while I talk about the big voice, I think the first time I was used the big voice Might have been in 1958 Don't don't don't don't That's what you say It's time I hold
[UNKNOWN]: When I feel like this, and I want to kill you, baby, don't say, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
[UNKNOWN]: Leave my embrace for here and my house is your place.
[UNKNOWN]: When the night grows cold, and I want to hold you baby, don't say don't.
[UNKNOWN]: If you think that this is just a game, I play.
[UNKNOWN]: If you think that I don't mean every word I'm saying,
[UNKNOWN]: Don't feel that way I'm your love but yours I really feel This you can be live I will never leave you Heaven knows I won't
[UNKNOWN]: No, maybe don't say, no, don't, please don't.
[UNKNOWN]: That's a great record, not only for Elvis, but the Jordan air is really top-notch on that, 1958.
[UNKNOWN]: That one's called Don't.
[UNKNOWN]: This song is a great curiosity.
[UNKNOWN]: This is Elvis Presley.
[UNKNOWN]: Covering Hank Snow.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, well done.
[UNKNOWN]: That is a good song.
[UNKNOWN]: Pardon me.
[UNKNOWN]: If I'm seven men, when we say goodbye, you'll be happy.
[UNKNOWN]: With me, should I cry?
[UNKNOWN]: But when are you gone?
[UNKNOWN]: Yet I'll dream of it Dream that I'm here is gone by Now and then There's a fool Such as a Such as a Now and then There's fool Such as a Hell Oh, you You Who taught me how to You see
[UNKNOWN]: You give one to them, they are known, now and they're in love, her love, her love, her love, so that they are in love.
[UNKNOWN]: But I'm a man, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool, a fool,
[UNKNOWN]: I feel that record is often overlooked.
[UNKNOWN]: And I also think it's pretty great.
[UNKNOWN]: How about a little stuffed animal rock and roll?
[UNKNOWN]: Much more in the music Come on, let me hear a teddy bear A baby, a baby A baby, a baby A baby, a baby A baby, a baby A baby, a baby A baby, a baby A baby, a baby
[UNKNOWN]: I don't want to be a tiger I don't want to be a lion I don't want to be a lion I don't want to be a tiger
[UNKNOWN]: But change another man And leave me, leave me I'm her life, leave me Let it live, leave me
[UNKNOWN]: Baby, let me be Around you, but I'm a night Around you, face through my head And curtains will be real tight Over like me, be alright, baby You ready, baby?
[UNKNOWN]: I don't wanna be a tag Cause tag is played to rough I don't wanna be a lie Cause lies ain't the kind you love and love
[UNKNOWN]: You're terrible, you're terrible Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
[UNKNOWN]: That's Elvis Presley and the Jordan airs and Teddy Bear.
[UNKNOWN]: That comes from his movie Loving You, which to this day as we speak in August of 2026 is still not available on DVD digital versatile disc or Blu-ray digital vertical disc.
[UNKNOWN]: This is a crime.
[UNKNOWN]: Please fix this.
[UNKNOWN]: It is a beautiful color motion picture that has Teddy Bear and a lot of other great songs.
[UNKNOWN]: I know you can find it streaming,
[UNKNOWN]: I'm a physical media guy.
[UNKNOWN]: We're gonna take a small break and we come back We're gonna do a song about footwear and whether or not you should step on it.
[UNKNOWN]: I'll give you a clue Do not step on it, okay?
[UNKNOWN]: Regardless of the material regardless of the color But we're gonna get more specific after the break and if you miss a little you miss a lot
[UNKNOWN]: All right, all you cats and kittens, let's talk footwear.
[UNKNOWN]: But if you knock me down, step in my face So I don't know my name all over the place We're doing a thing, but you're all gonna do it But I'm on it, hey, I'm shooting off you Step on my balloons, wait for you Well, you're gonna do a thing But then you're the marvellous, wait for you I'm strong!
[UNKNOWN]: You can burn my house, steal my car You're in my lick of all my noble fruit jar What I'm the thing that you wanna do But I'm on the lay hall for my shoes and I don't do Step on my blue隨uit Where you can do anything But think you're my blue隨uit
[UNKNOWN]: It's the one, follow the money, let me follow the show But I need to get her ready now, go, go, go, but don't you?
[UNKNOWN]: Step on my blue sweatshirt Where you can do anything But they feel for my blue sweatshirt All it's blue, blue, blue sweatshirt Blue, blue, blue, blue sweatshirt Yeah, blue, blue, blue, blue sweatshirt Blue, blue, blue, blue, blue sweatshirt Where you can do anything, what they hold for my blue sweatshirt
[UNKNOWN]: just to be clear, do not step on them.
[UNKNOWN]: Help us cover and call Perkins.
[UNKNOWN]: And this was Elvis's first top 40 hip that was a live record.
[UNKNOWN]: This is the wonder of you right here on Rob Radio.
[UNKNOWN]: Where no one else can understand me.
[UNKNOWN]: When everything I took his room,
[UNKNOWN]: Give me strength to carry on And you're always there
[UNKNOWN]: I'm when you smile the world is brighter You touch my hand and I'm a king Your kiss to me is worth the fortune Your loss for me is everything I guess I never know The reason why
[UNKNOWN]: Wonder of you
[UNKNOWN]: The reason why you love me now as you do has the one day of your life.
[UNKNOWN]: I love that song.
[UNKNOWN]: That's the wonder of you as we observed Elvis Death Day, I'm sorry, Ebbish Death Day, 2026, a towards the end of Elvis's recording career.
[UNKNOWN]: He did a lot of ballots, but there was one particular song that stuck out might be the last great rocker that Elvis recorded, and it's a Chuck Berry couple.
[UNKNOWN]: It's called Promised Land.
[UNKNOWN]: And this will make you move your feet.
[UNKNOWN]: Plus,
[UNKNOWN]: It's got cowbells, promise land or rock rail I live by home and no fall Which in your call I hold you home in my mind A straddle that's three-hand road in the rally And all the girls carry life And all the trouble to turn into a struggle And where cross I'll bail Will I have more?
[UNKNOWN]: Or run away a moment through trade, taking right from the city clean I'm a zonedan midnight fire, and I'm running out of smoking in the New Orleans Somebody help me get out of Louisiana, just help me get the news to tell Now people are there, who carein' it about me and I'm gonna live to pull more down
[UNKNOWN]: Sure, you're born, if odd meal, still soon, wouldn't love you tonight, and I won't reply, oh, how would her be on the gym to the front of us land?
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, we're getting more people's take, oh, I can't define over to the goal to stay.
[UNKNOWN]: A part of the goal is in 13 minutes, he would sit in the terminal gate.
[UNKNOWN]: Sweet, low, charity, calm down, eat, and pass it to the terminal zone.
[UNKNOWN]: But you're in, doesn't cool in your wings,
[UNKNOWN]: Long sailor, you may know so, but you need to learn what I've got to do tonight You're the full star home, but you're the promised land, but you're the full world's home in life
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, we're getting over a table of steak, all the cardifying over to the goal of the steak.
[UNKNOWN]: When the pile of toll is in 13 minutes, he would send us at the terminal day.
[UNKNOWN]: A swing, old turret, oh, no, he's in fact, it's in the terminal zone.
[UNKNOWN]: Put it your engine in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in, who's in
[UNKNOWN]: And by the way, the lyric can't figure out all the things in there.
[UNKNOWN]: Tidewater 41009.
[UNKNOWN]: It's a phone number.
[UNKNOWN]: My wife Carrie had to explain it to me because she lived down where the tidewater wasn't exchange.
[UNKNOWN]: Tidewater 1040.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm sorry, deadwater 41009 was a phone number.
[UNKNOWN]: And now, you know, I guess I can play this again.
[UNKNOWN]: A lot of times people come up to me.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I do like Elvis Presley.
[UNKNOWN]: I don't know if you figured that out by now and they say, but Rob, what was Elvis's prettiest song?
[UNKNOWN]: And without hesitation, I can tell them this.
[UNKNOWN]: There's another cover from a singer named Kitty Lester, but Elvis sings the heck out of it.
[UNKNOWN]: This song is called Love Letters.
[UNKNOWN]: Please enjoy on Rob Radio.
[UNKNOWN]: Love, love, love, love.
[UNKNOWN]: from your heart, keep us from you, while apart.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm alone.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm in pain, every line And I kiss the name that you saw
[UNKNOWN]: I read a new light from the sky The light is set from the heart I am the light of the light
[UNKNOWN]: And I kiss the name that you saw And darling then I'll give you From the skirt Love a little skirt
[UNKNOWN]: You see, your old buddy, Rob, wouldn't lie to you, beautiful.
[UNKNOWN]: And just so you know, Elvis recorded that song by candlelight.
[UNKNOWN]: Pretty cool.
[UNKNOWN]: That's love letters.
[UNKNOWN]: If you bought the 45 and you flipped it over, you got another good song.
[UNKNOWN]: It's called Come One May.
[UNKNOWN]: Little more upbeat, but a lot of fun.
[UNKNOWN]: Celebrating the passing of Elvis Presley.
[UNKNOWN]: 49 years ago this weekend, I am the old and you are my Come One May.
[UNKNOWN]: I love a like I was remains to find Come one, make it Even though we're miles apart You live in in my lonely heart And night, the tear drops starting All the long long days I'd have to picture you, make it Pass it to you in a way I'd wear the kids, so born, who knows He's night and day
[UNKNOWN]: There in mind, and you will find a hard and astute Can I'll be here with you?
[UNKNOWN]: I'm on my head
[UNKNOWN]: It's a new man, that's not your way in the way I'm wearing a cape, so fall in your lips, each night away There in mine, you will find all of this truth And I'll be here with you, come one man And I'll be here with you, come one man And I'll be here with you, come one man
[UNKNOWN]: That's another Elvis song you never hear, but it's a great one, that's come what may.
[UNKNOWN]: A point of order, when Elvis joined the army from 1958 to 1960, a lot of changes happened when he was over there.
[UNKNOWN]: He had prerecorded some songs, but basically took two years off from recording.
[UNKNOWN]: And when he came back, he recorded his first single in stereo.
[UNKNOWN]: who's called a mess of blues.
[UNKNOWN]: Of course, on my show I played in Mono.
[UNKNOWN]: Ha ha!
[UNKNOWN]: Because I'm a rebel!
[UNKNOWN]: I just got your little please.
[UNKNOWN]: But you can't come home.
[UNKNOWN]: I swear I'll go in craze.
[UNKNOWN]: I can't believe it, I can't believe it, I can't believe it, I can't believe it.
[UNKNOWN]: Showing all this grace, I gotta get myself together Before I lose my mind, I'm gonna catch the next train going And leave my blue behind, I send you going I gotta melt on the blue
[UNKNOWN]: on the face.
[UNKNOWN]: If you cry when you're alone, sure it knows where he's at, I gotta give myself to kill the world.
[UNKNOWN]: Help us death day on Rob Radio, then there was the time Elvis Presley tried to get honey from the hives at Graceland.
[UNKNOWN]: Holy smoke, a lamb's sake's alive, I never thought this could happen to me.
[UNKNOWN]: I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop, I got to stop,
[UNKNOWN]: Come on, it's great, it's weird, man, don't you get me Come on, little bear, come on, come on, come on, come on Can I break out in a cold, come on, spread my head, Come on, little bear, come on, little bear, come on Come on, little bear, don't you get me Come on, little bear, come on, come on, come on, come on Come on, little bear, come on, come on, come on, come on Come on, little bear, come on, come on, come on Come on, little bear, come on, come on, come on Come on, little bear, come on, come on, come on Come on, little bear, come on, come on, come on, come on Come on, little bear, come on, come on, come on, come on Come on, little bear, come on, come on, come on
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you see, he went to the B-high and he got stung, forget it, this next song works best.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, Elvis has big fingers, or you have a small neck.
[UNKNOWN]: Don't you have a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring,
[UNKNOWN]: What do you love?
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, you do.
[UNKNOWN]: All the time.
[UNKNOWN]: This is what I ask of you.
[UNKNOWN]: Won't you have another hand?
[UNKNOWN]: All around your neck.
[UNKNOWN]: You tell the world.
[UNKNOWN]: I'll be all by hand.
[UNKNOWN]: And never see you.
[UNKNOWN]: You're the foamy.
[UNKNOWN]: And let them see you by the ring.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, you do.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, let's have fun together.
[UNKNOWN]: It's not the proper thing.
[UNKNOWN]: And let them know while they're in
[UNKNOWN]: Now, we mentioned earlier that G.L.
[UNKNOWN]: House Rock is always considered one of Elvis's most popular songs among listeners, but don't sleep on the flip side.
[UNKNOWN]: This is also from the movie G.L.
[UNKNOWN]: House Rock, and it's a great wreck.
[UNKNOWN]: This is treat me nice, Rob Radyo.
[UNKNOWN]: What I want to do with that dope?
[UNKNOWN]: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
[UNKNOWN]: If you don't agree to me right, don't you ever kiss to me once Give him twice Not even eyes I don't let you been told that it's not fair to tease So will you come, come?
[UNKNOWN]: I'm really going to freeze If you don't want me to be A couple of eyes
[UNKNOWN]: The dream and ice
[UNKNOWN]: advice, or even advice, maybe if you let home, if you really care, scratch my back and run your way, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still, like I still,
[UNKNOWN]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
[UNKNOWN]: If you get a chance, check out the French import of that record.
[UNKNOWN]: It's called Treat Me Nees.
[UNKNOWN]: For sheer drama and beauty, hard to beat this record.
[UNKNOWN]: Just about perfect.
[UNKNOWN]: This is Kentucky Ring.
[UNKNOWN]: Seven long days and a dozen times ago, I reached out one night and you were gone.
[UNKNOWN]: Don't know where you'd run What you're running to or from All I know is I want to Rain you home So I'm walking in the rain Thumb in for a ride Honest lonely Can you tuck it back roll I'd love you much too long My love's too strong
[UNKNOWN]: Let you go, never knowing what we're wrong And for the rain he's falling down And of the edge of the town that I've got walking through With a rain in my shoes
[UNKNOWN]: Sheard you and photographs, there's some old great bearded men sitting on a bench outside a gentleman's store They said yes, she's been here, but their memory wasn't clear, wasn't yesterday No wait, the day before Finally got a ride with a preacher man who asked, were you bound on such a cold dark afternoon?
[UNKNOWN]: As we drove on through the rain, as he listened, I explained And he left me with a prayer that I'd find you In tucking rain keeps pouring down And over here's another town that I've got walking through
[UNKNOWN]: With the rain and the mud that she used to pass you Searching for you
[UNKNOWN]: That's Kentucky Rain on Rob Radio as we observe Elvis's death day, 2026 Elvis this Sunday, the 49th anniversary of his passing.
[UNKNOWN]: I think what separates Kentucky Rain from so many other Elvis records is the effort they put into the actual production of the record.
[UNKNOWN]: I think a lot of times they didn't pay a lot of attention to the production because Elvis's voice was so good.
[UNKNOWN]: They could
[UNKNOWN]: Now, one more before we take a break.
[UNKNOWN]: A lot of people wonder, at least to my mind, they do.
[UNKNOWN]: What song did Elvis perform for the longest period of time live?
[UNKNOWN]: And most people will guess, Houndock, because Elvis recorded it in early 1956, and he did it in just about every concert of his life.
[UNKNOWN]: However,
[UNKNOWN]: One of his dad's favorite songs was recorded before he did Houndog in 1955 and he actually performed it on his last tour.
[UNKNOWN]: So this had the longest run of any song that Elvis performed live and as I said, Vernon loved it and guess what, so do I.
[UNKNOWN]: I've been traveling the day I've been running all the way Baby, try to get you Every sense of it you let Where you said you love me true I've been traveling the day I've been running all the way Baby, try to get to you
[UNKNOWN]: But it didn't mean a thing I just had to make you make it Spine them all that happened through I kept traveling nothing day I kept running all the way I'd be trying to get you
[UNKNOWN]: Well, if I had to do it, oh That's exactly what I do I would travel, not in the end I could not still run all the way Baby, we tried to get you
[UNKNOWN]: That you really love me through the Lord of the Puppy knows I love It was he who brought me through With my way was dark in night It would shine as brown as light When I was trying to get to you
[UNKNOWN]: So good, trying to get to you, that is Elvis Presley, of course.
[UNKNOWN]: He recorded it in the summer of 1955 at Sun Studios, but it sat unreleased until RCA bought his contract and released it on his debut LP, which was the very creatively-named Elvis Presley.
[UNKNOWN]: You can say that LP was eponomously named.
[UNKNOWN]: That's the word for that.
[UNKNOWN]: But I do love it, trying to get to you was actually a cover from a Washington DC-based band called The Eagles, but not the band with Glenn Fry.
[UNKNOWN]: They're not that old, not yet.
[UNKNOWN]: OK, we're going to take a break and we come back.
[UNKNOWN]: A lot of people love the Elvis song, a suspicious mind.
[UNKNOWN]: I am one of them, but there are a lot of versions that he recorded in different locations and different places and different styles.
[UNKNOWN]: my favorite version of suspicious minds on the other side of these.
[UNKNOWN]: So stick around.
[UNKNOWN]: If you miss a little you miss a lot.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis Presley.
[UNKNOWN]: Hi, this is Elvis Presley.
[UNKNOWN]: I sure appreciate you're listening to Marseille Victor Records.
[UNKNOWN]: I'd like to thank all the disjuckers for playing on you are entirely welcome.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay, thank you very much.
[UNKNOWN]: This comes from the Aloha Concert, January of 1973, suspicious minds.
[UNKNOWN]: Recall on a trip.
[UNKNOWN]: I came all around.
[UNKNOWN]: We come but love you too much, babe.
[UNKNOWN]: I can't you see.
[UNKNOWN]: I should do it in a ring.
[UNKNOWN]: We can't go all together, we're supposed to be just mine Speaks your smile, and we can't win our name Oh, it's supposed to be just mine So it went over and I know It's not about to say hello
[UNKNOWN]: You can't say until we won't cry, you can't cry, we can't all together, we're just this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life, this year's life
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, let us fly, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
[UNKNOWN]: We're calling a gem, we call my love through my grave Why can't you see, what you do in the name?
[UNKNOWN]: When you don't believe in what I'm saying?
[UNKNOWN]: Well, you know,
[UNKNOWN]: I can't hold up
[UNKNOWN]: We can't run love too much Oh, boy, what happened?
[UNKNOWN]: I can't walk So, what happened?
[UNKNOWN]: What are you doing?
[UNKNOWN]: I hope this suit don't tear a baby But don't you know
[UNKNOWN]: How did you not love that record?
[UNKNOWN]: I tell you what, uh, it was originally called Oslo Mio and Colonel Tom Parker's wife loved that song, so Elvis recorded, it's Howard Never.
[UNKNOWN]: When I first saw you with your smile so tender My heart was kept to my soul so tender I spent a lifetime waiting for the right time Now that you're near the time is here
[UNKNOWN]: Just like a willow, we would cry and worship, if we lost true love and sweet devotion.
[UNKNOWN]: Far from us while we'll meet again, this way It's long never, I'll hold me to the end Kiss me, my dear
[UNKNOWN]: Look out for the big one, hey, he's good.
[UNKNOWN]: One of the biggest selling records in the entire decade of the 1960s, it's now or never sold over 20 million copies.
[UNKNOWN]: How about that?
[UNKNOWN]: Isn't that something now?
[UNKNOWN]: I'm going to play you what I will call the greatest Elvis Presley song you've never heard.
[UNKNOWN]: I don't know why this wasn't released as a single, and I don't know why it wasn't a hit.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis recorded this in December of 1973, and not only is it a great record, it is so, it still feels current.
[UNKNOWN]: It's to me this could be a Gordon Lightfoot song, it could be anything, it's just sensational, it's called Thinking About You, Elvis Presley, on Rob Radio on the Michael Maris Show.
[UNKNOWN]: I woke up this morning and I tried to call you, but you weren't there, kind of put me in the smell.
[UNKNOWN]: So I loved maybe I could lose my mind.
[UNKNOWN]: and a cup of sight, so why don't we wait for a ride?
[UNKNOWN]: But I never stop thinking about you I'm myself wishing you were there Just to be with me, being with me, being with me
[UNKNOWN]: I decided to try, just one more time Let you know, I really love your soul Before I arrived, I saw you go away With the neglect of your country But here, through my eye But I never...
[UNKNOWN]: I said we should hear what they're like Just to be with me Can the breeze breathe Sun smile, I didn't care Long time as fast Since that day I cried Life is fine And I'm doing fine
[UNKNOWN]: But when I'm at home, and I feel lonely, lonely Where do I think of you?
[UNKNOWN]: I try to get up, I'll miss you soon But I never stop thinking about you From my self-wishing and with that air Just to be in the wind
[UNKNOWN]: So smile I didn't care
[UNKNOWN]: Can you see your old buddy Robwood and LIDA?
[UNKNOWN]: Isn't that fantastic thinking about you by Elvis Presley?
[UNKNOWN]: I'm hoping that people that are tuning in are still listening, of course, for one thing.
[UNKNOWN]: But I hope you're hearing some songs you've never heard before, and I think that one is a perfect example of an Elvis song that no one knows that is sensational.
[UNKNOWN]: Now, here's one that's slightly more known of all the sun singles that were released on the Sun Label.
[UNKNOWN]: This is my favorite.
[UNKNOWN]: It's got great atmosphere.
[UNKNOWN]: This is called Mystery Tray, right here on Rob Radio.
[UNKNOWN]: Rain a ride.
[UNKNOWN]: Sing to you, Coach Lowe.
[UNKNOWN]: Sixteen coats long, while I had long black train Got my feet, feet, head and go Train, train Come and round around your feet here
[UNKNOWN]: Come and ride, I'll be here Well, it's too much baby But it's never way to escape Train, train Come and ride, I'll be there Train, train Come and ride, I'll be there
[UNKNOWN]: Well it's bringing my baby
[UNKNOWN]: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
[UNKNOWN]: Doesn't that just feel like 1955.
[UNKNOWN]: I love that.
[UNKNOWN]: That's mystery train.
[UNKNOWN]: The next song I'm going to play you, you've probably heard before, so I will take the liberty to introduce it the way Elvis did on stage once.
[UNKNOWN]: He just said, this was a song I did on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1912.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, I said you was high-class.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, that was just a lie.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I said you was high-class.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, that was just a lie.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you ain't ever caught her ever, and you ain't no friend for mine.
[UNKNOWN]: You ain't not to bother her.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, I sent you as high class Well, that was the one And I sent you as high class Well, that was the one
[UNKNOWN]: That is a pretty vicious vocal, and this is something interesting.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis did 31 takes of that song, and the one that you just heard was Take 28.
[UNKNOWN]: Can you imagine singing that song 31 times in a row?
[UNKNOWN]: He knew exactly the way he wanted it to sound.
[UNKNOWN]: A few years later, he was working on another sound.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, the return of the big voice.
[UNKNOWN]: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
[UNKNOWN]: God damn it, man.
[UNKNOWN]: That's crazy.
[UNKNOWN]: That's crazy.
[UNKNOWN]: That's crazy.
[UNKNOWN]: All right, Elvis, let's try that one more time.
[UNKNOWN]: Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
[UNKNOWN]: We're at a different side of me You said I love this crew
[UNKNOWN]: much more than you ever know, yes done, I'm so hurt, because I still love you so much.
[UNKNOWN]: What are you, what are you happy, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much, thank you so much
[UNKNOWN]: I would never, ever, ever, ever Wow, the big boys Doesn't get much bigger than that
[UNKNOWN]: While he was alive, Elvis Presley made 33 motion pictures, and the most successful one of them all had a Polynesian flavor.
[UNKNOWN]: It's called Blue Hawaii.
[UNKNOWN]: Live with all this love, let it rest, let it be all, come with me while the moon is on the sea
[UNKNOWN]: It is you, and so we, so you, bring us come true, and we are the one.
[UNKNOWN]: In this magic night of night, it's over you Come with me All the moon is on the sea I'm on the sea The night is gone I'm so you
[UNKNOWN]: A dream comes true, and blue of the night.
[UNKNOWN]: And mine could all come true, And this magic might, Or might, Or if you were mine,
[UNKNOWN]: I dedicate that one to my dear friend, Eric Stalginski, Zooander, Blue, Hawaii.
[UNKNOWN]: All through his life, if Elvis was in concert and he wanted to crowd to go crazy, all he had to do was sing this song.
[UNKNOWN]: Bring my faithful heart Tendied on a part But it left me Won't you love me?
[UNKNOWN]: Leave her who ever go Darling, I know
[UNKNOWN]: I'll be sad and blue, cryin' over you, did only you I would bed and steal, and I'd steal Just to feel, just to feel
[UNKNOWN]: I'm on your heart beating close to my So close to my favor you ever go Darling I've been oh so lonely I'll be setting blue
[UNKNOWN]: I would barely steal a legacy Just to feel Yes, just to feel You're all alone
[UNKNOWN]: I want your heart beating close to my So close to my Wherever you ever go Darling I'm in oh so lonely Begging on my knees All I ask is please
[UNKNOWN]: Please love me.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: I mentioned that Blue Hawaii was Elvis's most successful movie.
[UNKNOWN]: Spin out was not.
[UNKNOWN]: But he did play Racer Driver's Slash singer and he sang this song.
[UNKNOWN]: It's called All Be Back, I'm Rob Brady.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I'll be back.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I'll be back.
[UNKNOWN]: Back home, sick train.
[UNKNOWN]: Hold a one-way track.
[UNKNOWN]: I got a travel and hit the gravel.
[UNKNOWN]: But I'll be back.
[UNKNOWN]: we'll be back
[UNKNOWN]: And no long-tell the foe It's full of love Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, what a turn, stay our goal, oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
[UNKNOWN]: I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going back, I'm going
[UNKNOWN]: That song is better than the entire movie's spin out.
[UNKNOWN]: So if you ever have the chance to see spin out, don't just listen to that song.
[UNKNOWN]: Now, here's another one of the greatest Elvis Presley's songs you've never heard.
[UNKNOWN]: This is called Such a Night.
[UNKNOWN]: As we celebrate the King of Rock and Roll.
[UNKNOWN]: It was a night who caught a lot of it.
[UNKNOWN]: It was a really long such a night.
[UNKNOWN]: The moon was bright, oh have bright, and the weather really was a such a night.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, when she kissed me, I had a phone love Oh, it was a kiss Who'd hold a kiss?
[UNKNOWN]: Who'd hold a kiss?
[UNKNOWN]: Who'd hold a kiss?
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, I think a kiss Oh, I'd hold a kiss Who'd hold a kiss?
[UNKNOWN]: Who'd hold a kiss?
[UNKNOWN]: Just a thought of a little bit Since you're my
[UNKNOWN]: I'm filled with desire But I gave my heart to you Sweet sore and heart I will I earn my heart I don't even know Oh, what am I to do?
[UNKNOWN]: I was a knight, I was a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a knight, I'm a
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, what an hour it was, it's been a while So tonight Game the dawn and my heart and hello And the night was gone No more love, no more You're getting a kiss in the kitchen No more light How will I remember I know you remember
[UNKNOWN]: When we kiss, I had to fall down
[UNKNOWN]: Night.
[UNKNOWN]: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom
[UNKNOWN]: Whoa!
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis Presley, Death Day, 2026 is we observe the 49th anniversary of Elvis Presley's passing, taking you back to 1956 when RCA records, ostensibly the biggest record company in the world, bought Elvis's contract from Sun Records, tiny little studio in Memphis, Tennessee.
[UNKNOWN]: They wanted to try to create that
[UNKNOWN]: uh... echoey uh... tape slap back echo that sam philips had perfected on all the Elvis records leading up to it and the most powerful talented engineers in all of New York City couldn't do it
[UNKNOWN]: This is as close as they got.
[UNKNOWN]: Although out of this, it's pretty good record.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, the soul is crowded, but you still could buy it some room For broken heart, and the whole thing is too crowded It blew and be so, the biggest lonely baby I think it's lonely and it's lonely, it'll make a die
[UNKNOWN]: You've got to tell the tale Or just take a warm down on the street To pop ready for the world You will be happy You're so lonely baby But you will be lonely You'll be so lonely You could die
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
[UNKNOWN]: Heartburn Motel, as Elvis used to call it, on Rob Radio, as we do the Elvis Deaths Bay thing for 20-26.
[UNKNOWN]: Coming up is the opening number from his 1968 comeback special.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm sure you're familiar with the look.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis in the black leather suit, he looked amazing.
[UNKNOWN]: And this is the first song from it.
[UNKNOWN]: Now, technically the name of the show was the singer special.
[UNKNOWN]: And most people assume it was called that,
[UNKNOWN]: That's right, a singer, but it's because it was sponsored by singer sewing machines So if you like Elvis Presley and you enjoy the second facet of his career starting in Christmas of 1968 You have to thank Sewing machines Look it up, look in for trouble We came to the right place Look in for trouble
[UNKNOWN]: There's a look right in my face, I was bone-stained enough and talking back here.
[UNKNOWN]: But that it was a greed I left, that I'd become a people.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm a male misery.
[UNKNOWN]: You mess around.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, I quit my job there, I have to call for a little mama here, a goodbye note My son and I have kids with my pocket bar, my home My hijacked all the way down the men, it's got a room with a while to see I'm on the next three weeks, I want to hunt them like I'm looking for a place Well, I thought my figure would sell all five, but nobody wanted to hire her
[UNKNOWN]: While I kneel at the best of the death of a man I run out of money and look So I'm on me around and I'm making a joy on the whole uniform I don't know that I don't know Should you turn up picking out someone I'm all not mine I hope I'd not commit myself But I don't make a hulego man I got to say more stories than all that Fusion of the E, no rule right here for your topic
[UNKNOWN]: I saw what's left in the whole world, y'all I don't know if I'm the mildest right The life I'm lost ever won't be around I've ever had a club here called rejects I've had a four-pee bail on jam I saw it take my gift on and I stood in I sure don't know if I'm the mildest right I don't know if this way you look at all And show I'm sorry
[UNKNOWN]: Maybe I don't take a trip down to the ocean But I don't have time to help you Me and I, to the park, go Jackson, you got a little time to keep looking But it's fine, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine But now they go for lunch and go I guess you'll leave that far, be it that I'm up, when did you know?
[UNKNOWN]: Is that swinging under the guitar?
[UNKNOWN]: that is so good.
[UNKNOWN]: And if I put one thing today, I hope I proved to you that there are very few things in show business as thrilling as when Elvis is truly trying to sing a song.
[UNKNOWN]: When he gives it his all, there ain't nothing like it.
[UNKNOWN]: That is trouble and guitar man from the 1960
[UNKNOWN]: singer, special, bobbins not included.
[UNKNOWN]: When Elvis was asked about his influence, of course, he would say a country in western, rhythm and blues, but he always mentioned one genre of music, and I think deep down it was the most important to him, and that is gospel.
[UNKNOWN]: He got his starts singing in church, and when he wanted to unwind at the end of a concert tour, or at the end of a day or after a particularly big concert, he would get his guys together, and they would sing gospel songs.
[UNKNOWN]: And he loved it.
[UNKNOWN]: Let's close with one of the best of his gospel songs, one of his favorites.
[UNKNOWN]: Folks, according to my playlist, I've played 47 songs on this episode.
[UNKNOWN]: And I really do feel like I'm just scratching the surface.
[UNKNOWN]: There's so much more Elvis music I could play you.
[UNKNOWN]: If you've stayed with it this long, thank you so much.
[UNKNOWN]: I love playing music as I said at the front of the show.
[UNKNOWN]: If you don't share music, music is worthless.
[UNKNOWN]: and if you sat down with me and listened to all these records, God bless you, so cool.
[UNKNOWN]: And you know what?
[UNKNOWN]: I hope I inspired you to go on Spotify or whatever the kids do these days and listen to some Elvis Presley music and I dare you.
[UNKNOWN]: I double dare you.
[UNKNOWN]: I double dog dare you because it's streaming now.
[UNKNOWN]: Find the movie epic.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis Presley in Concert, the Baz Lerman movie, and watch it.
[UNKNOWN]: It's about a hundred minutes long.
[UNKNOWN]: It won't take up your entire day.
[UNKNOWN]: And if you don't come away from it with a new appreciation and really just a reverence.
[UNKNOWN]: for one of the greatest performers of all time, then I don't know people because it's a pretty incredible film.
[UNKNOWN]: Check it out.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm not getting paid to say this.
[UNKNOWN]: I just know it's awesome.
[UNKNOWN]: All right, gospel music.
[UNKNOWN]: And oh yeah, thank you for listening.
[UNKNOWN]: You guys are the greatest.
[UNKNOWN]: This is from Elvis's first gospel album.
[UNKNOWN]: Peace in the Valley.
[UNKNOWN]: Take care, God bless, and we'll see you next time.
[UNKNOWN]: We'll time, and so we'll be, but I must go alone.
[UNKNOWN]: Dear the Lord, come and call, call me where He opens Where the morning so bright, I am loud, mislead
[UNKNOWN]: And I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard it and I heard
[UNKNOWN]: This ain't nobody, oh, oh me, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
[UNKNOWN]: Will the bear will be gentle, and wolves will be tame, and lie shall it die, by the love.
[UNKNOWN]: And the beast from the world shall be lit by truth.
[UNKNOWN]: And I'll be changed, changed from this creature.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, never live.
[UNKNOWN]: He's in the valley for me someday, I will be peace, I have no body, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
[UNKNOWN]: There will be pigeons in a valley, Falling, Falling,
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis, White Trash, Elvis, the Memphis Flesh, Elvis under the hood, Elvis with Cadillac blood, Elvis Darling Bird, Florida and returned to the Mississippi night.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis, he didn't hear the shot, but Dr. King died just across the lot from Elvis, the Memphis Spring, shooting TVs,
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis, who got on his knees, Elvis, whom three TVs, Elvis, he signed to win, Elvis, the battle-hand.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis changed the center of gravity, Elvis made its slippery.
[UNKNOWN]: Elvis ate America before America made him.
[UNKNOWN]: But I can't help falling in love with you
[UNKNOWN]: Would it be a sin if I can't help falling in love with you?
[UNKNOWN]: Like a river flows, sure it to the sea.
[UNKNOWN]: Learning is so it goes.
[UNKNOWN]: Some things are meant to be.
[UNKNOWN]: Take my hand.
[UNKNOWN]: Take my whole life to.
[UNKNOWN]: For I can't help falling in love with you Michael Mera, radio entertainment Elvis has left the building.
[UNKNOWN]: Thank you and good night
