<v Speaker 1>Raw tonight was in Buffalo. It was in improvement over
<v Speaker 1>last week's show. Remember a couple of weeks ago, we
<v Speaker 1>had that post Summer Slam episode of Raw that was
<v Speaker 1>fucking great. It's like, how come we can't get this
<v Speaker 1>after all the ples. It had that WrestleMania post Raw
<v Speaker 1>show feeling to it, and then last week was a
<v Speaker 1>huge nosedive. I thought last week's show is actually very boring.
<v Speaker 1>Tonight's show there was certainly a lot more going on,
<v Speaker 1>and when the show was over, I enjoyed this a
<v Speaker 1>lot more than the last week's show, And in the
<v Speaker 1>closing angle, everything was built around this the entire week. Right.
<v Speaker 1>Solo Socoa lost to Jay Usso last week, and so
<v Speaker 1>tonight he was gonna serve him up. He's gonna deliver
<v Speaker 1>Solo Socoa to Roman Rains, who was back on the
<v Speaker 1>show this week. I love how every time Roman appears
<v Speaker 1>on this show, if he is in the closing segment,
<v Speaker 1>he times it just right where he pulls up to
<v Speaker 1>the building with twenty minutes left of the show, walks
<v Speaker 1>right from his car to the fucking ring. They play
<v Speaker 1>his music, he does what he needs to do, and
<v Speaker 1>he gets the hell out of there. Isn't it amazing
<v Speaker 1>how that always works? But we had him, and we
<v Speaker 1>had Solo Sokoa being brought to the ring by the usos.
<v Speaker 1>What would Solo do right or are they going to
<v Speaker 1>keep him in the bloodline for a couple of months
<v Speaker 1>and then build to a big swerve, or maybe he'll
<v Speaker 1>just spike Roman in the throat here tonight and just
<v Speaker 1>be done with the whole thing. And that's what they did.
<v Speaker 1>They were building anticipation. They were doing all the usual
<v Speaker 1>bloodline stuff. We had more Ula follows presented to each
<v Speaker 1>of the usos. These were black ones. Jacob Fatu did
<v Speaker 1>not get one. Jacob Fatu looked very upset about this.
<v Speaker 1>So that's a whole other side story that's being built
<v Speaker 1>for another day. But when it was over, Solo Socoa
<v Speaker 1>had a choice to make. When La Knight came out
<v Speaker 1>and they were holding La Night and Roman wanted him
<v Speaker 1>to spike La Night, he's not your family, were your family?
<v Speaker 1>Do what you're told? And what did he do? He
<v Speaker 1>spiked Roman instead, and everybody reacted in the way that
<v Speaker 1>the fans have been reacting generally to Solo Socoa now
<v Speaker 1>for many weeks. They chanted his name. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>we're living in an alternate dimension here where it's hard
<v Speaker 1>to believe that this is the same Solo Socoa that
<v Speaker 1>was basically poisoning SmackDown with the MFT stuff for months
<v Speaker 1>and months and month. It was like he was repelling
<v Speaker 1>me from that television show with what they had him doing.
<v Speaker 1>And now you have people chanting the man's name. You
<v Speaker 1>have him as someone that people are genuinely interested in
<v Speaker 1>seeing when Raw Go's on the air each week, and
<v Speaker 1>so he gets the big pop for it. La Night
<v Speaker 1>he got his licks in on the bloodline as well.
<v Speaker 1>The two of them left together in lockstep, side by side.
<v Speaker 1>Night's not going to be getting his crack at the
<v Speaker 1>championship for a while yet, but now he's got a friend.
<v Speaker 1>He's got an ally in Solo. Soca Solo has a
<v Speaker 1>friend in an ally in La Knight. Jacob Fatu, who
<v Speaker 1>was explicitly told by Roman Rains when he went to
<v Speaker 1>go deliver a s inspike to La Night, don't do that.
<v Speaker 1>I have this you back up off. He took the
<v Speaker 1>advice that was given to him. He backed off. As
<v Speaker 1>Roman was getting his ass kicked. He just stood there
<v Speaker 1>and did nothing. So as that story continues to build
<v Speaker 1>in the more short term, we'll have to wait and
<v Speaker 1>see when they make it official for Night in Roman,
<v Speaker 1>which I'm guessing is not happening until October, so you know,
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of time left between now at October,
<v Speaker 1>so they're going to have to figure out how they
<v Speaker 1>want to approach this. Now, what happens with Solo? Is
<v Speaker 1>he going to go through each member of the bloodline
<v Speaker 1>one by one? He already lost to Jay last week.
<v Speaker 1>As bloodline segments go, it does as I'm describing this,
<v Speaker 1>it does sound very similar to a lot of the
<v Speaker 1>other bloodline segments that we've seen over the last four
<v Speaker 1>or five years. And as the greatest of the great
<v Speaker 1>bloodline segments go, this was not one of the all
<v Speaker 1>time great ones. But as bloodline segments go, this was
<v Speaker 1>one of the better ones that we've gotten in a
<v Speaker 1>very long time, and the crowd was certainly receptive to it.
<v Speaker 1>So I liked what they did at the end. I
<v Speaker 1>like that we're going to continue to get baby faced,
<v Speaker 1>so instead of having to wait, you know, do some
<v Speaker 1>sort of big swerve. I will say this though, one
<v Speaker 1>of my takeaways from what we saw here at the
<v Speaker 1>end of the show is that if La Knight was
<v Speaker 1>going to win the World Heavyweight Championship. But you already
<v Speaker 1>know my thoughts on this, but if there was a
<v Speaker 1>sliver of hope that La Knight was actually gonna beat
<v Speaker 1>Roman at Money in the Bank and win that championship,
<v Speaker 1>I think it went out the window tonight. I really do,
<v Speaker 1>because I feel like if they were going to change
<v Speaker 1>the title, they would have wanted to do some sort
<v Speaker 1>of bit even if people some people would have seen
<v Speaker 1>it coming, they would have wanted to do some sort
<v Speaker 1>of big swerve, like in the match at Money in
<v Speaker 1>the Bank, like let Solo go a couple of months. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he's against his will, but you know what, it's his family.
<v Speaker 1>He falls in line. He's with the Bloodline Nights all alone.
<v Speaker 1>He's got no friends, he's got no allies. And at
<v Speaker 1>the exact moment that Roman reigns would need Solos help
<v Speaker 1>in that match, that's where Solo spikes him, right, That's
<v Speaker 1>where Solo drives the dagger the heart. And if you
<v Speaker 1>were going to build to a big championship victory, then
<v Speaker 1>that leads into Night winning and it's this whole big
<v Speaker 1>emotional thing and the fans go crazy. They took that
<v Speaker 1>away tonight. They took that away, and I'm not saying
<v Speaker 1>they were wrong to do that. I'm glad they did
<v Speaker 1>what they did, but I feel like you've taken away
<v Speaker 1>what would have been, you know, a real moment in
<v Speaker 1>that match for them to go ahead and give Night
<v Speaker 1>the belt and in the process established Solo Socoa as
<v Speaker 1>you know, one of the big babyfaces on wrong. So
<v Speaker 1>I think whatever small chance there was went out the
<v Speaker 1>window tonight. The other thing also that I liked about
<v Speaker 1>that closing segment. For the first time, I feel like
<v Speaker 1>since this bloodline reunited, there was no ambiguity about what
<v Speaker 1>are these guys supposed to be. You know, I always
<v Speaker 1>say like Roman has never really stopped being a heel,
<v Speaker 1>But like with the USOS, they go back and forth.
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes they come off as baby faces, a lot of
<v Speaker 1>times they do come off as heels, but not all
<v Speaker 1>the time. In this segment tonight, it was very clear
<v Speaker 1>like the lines were drawn as far as like okay boo,
<v Speaker 1>these men cheer these men, and they came off his heels. Collectively,
<v Speaker 1>they all came off his heels, and hopefully that's something
<v Speaker 1>we'll see a little more often instead of them sort
<v Speaker 1>of straddling that line. So that was a big show
<v Speaker 1>closing angle. But in addition to that, we got some
<v Speaker 1>good wrestling on the show, which is more than I
<v Speaker 1>can say for SmackDown on Friday. We had a great
<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental Championship match tonight. It got great in the closing
<v Speaker 1>minutes between Raymistereo and Chad Gable. A little surprised it
<v Speaker 1>didn't hold off on this for Mexico City next month.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why they chose tonight, but I'm glad
<v Speaker 1>we got it because that match was fucking great, and
<v Speaker 1>I mean I could watch those two work, you know,
<v Speaker 1>multiple times if they wanted to run it. There's no
<v Speaker 1>reason to run it back. But Raymysterio. You know, there
<v Speaker 1>were times where you watch him and it's like, all right,
<v Speaker 1>you know, he's obviously he's slowed down a little bit
<v Speaker 1>because he's a lot older, but he still goes out
<v Speaker 1>there and some of the stuff that he does in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, you forget, like how long he's been doing
<v Speaker 1>this for and all the surgeries that he's had, and
<v Speaker 1>I know he's had the stem cells and he's done
<v Speaker 1>what he has to do to kind of keep himself
<v Speaker 1>in the shape he needs to be in to be
<v Speaker 1>doing all of these you know, dives and moon salt
<v Speaker 1>and everything that he does at his age. But he's
<v Speaker 1>out there tonight looking like the Ageless Wonder, and it
<v Speaker 1>just blows me away sometimes when I see him in
<v Speaker 1>the ring. So we got a great ic title match tonight.
<v Speaker 1>We also had there was a women's match between soul
<v Speaker 1>Ruka and Lyra Valkyria that actually ended up being pretty good.
<v Speaker 1>I enjoyed this more than I did their last match together,
<v Speaker 1>so that was a good one. We had the final
<v Speaker 1>two first round matches in the Luchadors torn in it
<v Speaker 1>because we're crowning a number one contender, which seems kind
<v Speaker 1>of pointless given that we know La Knight is going
<v Speaker 1>to be the number one contender. But before we get
<v Speaker 1>to La Knight a number one contender for the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship September four, fourteenth in Mexico City, Penta has
<v Speaker 1>already qualified. We had Laparca qualifying the Triple A show
<v Speaker 1>this past weekend, so tonight we had two more first
<v Speaker 1>round matches, and especially the second one. I thought the
<v Speaker 1>one that came later in the show was better than
<v Speaker 1>the first one, but just collectively all the matches I
<v Speaker 1>just mentioned, they were good. None of them were as
<v Speaker 1>good as the IC title match that was the best
<v Speaker 1>of the bunch. But we got some good wrestling on
<v Speaker 1>the show tonight that got time. And even the Javon
<v Speaker 1>Evans match, you know with JD McDonough, which did not
<v Speaker 1>get a lot of time. I thought that was solid too.
<v Speaker 1>So the wrestling was good. We got a strong angle
<v Speaker 1>to close out the show. You know what, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>going to look a gift Taurus in the mouth. I
<v Speaker 1>was happy with what we got on Raw tonight. I
<v Speaker 1>have some quibbles. We'll get into the whole thing from
<v Speaker 1>start to finish, but I thought this was a strong show,
<v Speaker 1>hell of a lot stronger than the one we got
<v Speaker 1>last week. This is your Monday Night Raw review. It
<v Speaker 1>is August seventeenth, twenty twenty six. I am the Solemn Monster.
<v Speaker 1>Brand new sound off is up right now. Went up
<v Speaker 1>early yesterday, episode nine to seventy six, So if you
<v Speaker 1>have not checked it out yet, be sure to go
<v Speaker 1>ahead and do so. Covering all the key news of
<v Speaker 1>the week, dark Side or the Ring review is in there.
<v Speaker 1>Shitload of mailbag questions I haven't gotten to it the
<v Speaker 1>last few weeks. So we did a big fucking mail
<v Speaker 1>bag on the show yesterday. It's been this wheel. Shall
<v Speaker 1>we take this wheel for a spin for the first
<v Speaker 1>time this week? You guys know how this works. We're
<v Speaker 1>trying to find out how many likes we need to
<v Speaker 1>do be the booker a neckro salute to YouTube brother
<v Speaker 1>interesting bonus goal only. Okay, so we do have a
<v Speaker 1>bonus goal going on in the chat. So what that
<v Speaker 1>means is that we're not going by the likes number tonight.
<v Speaker 1>We're going by the bonus goal. The bonus goal is
<v Speaker 1>the goal. We don't hit it, No, be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>We hit it, it will do be the booker, So
<v Speaker 1>say the wheel. So that's how that's going to work
<v Speaker 1>a little bit different tonight. Let's get into this show.
<v Speaker 1>Start from the very top Stephanie Vaquier, former women's world champion,
<v Speaker 1>came back a few weeks ago. She was out to
<v Speaker 1>the ring to open the show, and the first thing
<v Speaker 1>she did she called out the women's world champion, Live Morgan,
<v Speaker 1>who came out on stage with the women of the judgment.
<v Speaker 1>Dave Raquel Rodriguez Rock San Perez Live brought up what
<v Speaker 1>Becky Lynch said about her holding the title, how it
<v Speaker 1>cheapens it for all the women who held that championship
<v Speaker 1>before her, and basically Live said, I don't really give
<v Speaker 1>a shit. I don't care one way or the other
<v Speaker 1>as long as I'm in the WWE. Stephanie will never
<v Speaker 1>be Women's World Champion again because Live is on her
<v Speaker 1>way to being the longest reigning champion of all time.
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie dared her to come into the ring, and so
<v Speaker 1>she did, and of course she had back up with her.
<v Speaker 1>She had Raquel, she had Roxanne, and even though they
<v Speaker 1>had the numbers advantage, Stephanie held her own at first,
<v Speaker 1>but then she got overwhelmed and that brought out Becky
<v Speaker 1>Lynch to make the save, and her and Stephanie cleared
<v Speaker 1>the ring of all the heels. Then they got in
<v Speaker 1>each other's faces. I think there might have been an
<v Speaker 1>errant shot that Stephanie threw that might have hit Becky.
<v Speaker 1>I looked down. When I looked up, they were at
<v Speaker 1>each other's throats. So they just don't like each other. Basically,
<v Speaker 1>Lived then pulled Becky out of the ring center into
<v Speaker 1>the ring post and then hit Stephanie with a codebreaker
<v Speaker 1>and Roxane dropped her with pop rocks. Now later in
<v Speaker 1>the show, and I'm skipping ahead here a few segments
<v Speaker 1>because it kind of plays into this, Kathy Kelly was
<v Speaker 1>in the back and she was with Stephanie Vicaier. She
<v Speaker 1>broke the news to Stephanie that she's going to have
<v Speaker 1>her first match back next week against Roxane Perez. Becky
<v Speaker 1>showed up. Stephanie told her, look, I didn't ask for
<v Speaker 1>your help. I don't need your help. Roxanne is my problem. Now,
<v Speaker 1>don't make yourself my next problem. Becky said, as long
<v Speaker 1>as you're going after that championship, I'm your biggest problem.
<v Speaker 1>But hey, you know what, you know want my help.
<v Speaker 1>Good luck next week because I'm sure the judgment day
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna keep things kosher. There's gonna be no interference
<v Speaker 1>or any of that bullshit. So good luck next week.
<v Speaker 1>And that's how they left it, So again just kind
<v Speaker 1>of playing off what we've seen over the last couple
<v Speaker 1>of weeks. We know Becky and Stephanie don't like each other.
<v Speaker 1>They're not friends, they're not buddies. They both have the
<v Speaker 1>same goal, which is to get that belt off of
<v Speaker 1>liv Morgan. She's had it since WrestleMania. She's barely defended
<v Speaker 1>literally one title defense since WrestleMania. You can't go wrong
<v Speaker 1>with either one of these two. If they pick Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>to take the belt back, great. If they want to
<v Speaker 1>put the belt on Becky, fine. I don't know that
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna do that though, so they're just continuing to
<v Speaker 1>build up the tension. So now she'll get roxand next
<v Speaker 1>week my guess is after that we'll get Stephanie and Raquel.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know who the who gets the first shot.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I don't know that they go right
<v Speaker 1>into a three way. I would imagine that they individually
<v Speaker 1>would get shots first and then they can build to
<v Speaker 1>some sort of big match like that. But nothing terribly
<v Speaker 1>different than what we've had over the last couple of weeks.
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy and jay Uso they were in the back clowning
<v Speaker 1>around all happy, and they had Solo Sokoa with them,
<v Speaker 1>who was anything but happy. He had a big sour
<v Speaker 1>puss on his face because he was being served up
<v Speaker 1>later in the show to Roman Reigns. He did not
<v Speaker 1>want to be here. They're walking by La Knight is
<v Speaker 1>sitting in the hallway as they strolled on by Night
<v Speaker 1>and Solo. They stared at each other before the usso's
<v Speaker 1>escorted Solo into the bloodlined locker room because they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>milk this. They're gonna close the show with this. They're
<v Speaker 1>not gonna give this shit away in the opening segment. Plus,
<v Speaker 1>Roman hasn't gotten to the building yet, so even if
<v Speaker 1>they wanted to do it, apparently we can't have the
<v Speaker 1>bloodline segment because we have to wait for Roman Rains
<v Speaker 1>to arrive. He's still enjoying dinner. We'll see him later
<v Speaker 1>in the show. We had Javon Evans against JD McDonough
<v Speaker 1>and how did we get here? How did we arrive
<v Speaker 1>at this match? Well, when Dominic and JD first walked
<v Speaker 1>out on stage, dom was bitching about his father not
<v Speaker 1>putting him in the Number One Contenders tournament to wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns. Then Javon's music hit. He stormed out, walked
<v Speaker 1>right past them, and he didn't have the usual smile.
<v Speaker 1>He wasn't bouncing around. He just went right to the ring,
<v Speaker 1>took the microphone, and he called out Big Casts because
<v Speaker 1>Cass has been kicking his ass over the last few weeks.
<v Speaker 1>So two things that I just mentioned that have absolutely
<v Speaker 1>nothing to do with each other. Two completely different stories,
<v Speaker 1>two completely different issues, and so we have JD McDonough
<v Speaker 1>against Javon Evans. Okay, then I'm not even sure anything
<v Speaker 1>that I just described to you actually aired on the show.
<v Speaker 1>I believe this may have aired during the commercial break. Yes, okay,
<v Speaker 1>so Rodericks, that's what I thought. I don't think any
<v Speaker 1>of this aired on the show, so none of this
<v Speaker 1>even matters. I wasn't one hundred percent sure though, because
<v Speaker 1>it's not as obvious anymore. I mean, sometimes what happens
<v Speaker 1>usually is they'll fade to black, they'll come back, they
<v Speaker 1>don't really have Maybe it's different for you guys if
<v Speaker 1>you're watching internationally or with a VPN. They used to
<v Speaker 1>have the countdown clock in the corner. I haven't seen
<v Speaker 1>that countdown clock in many weeks. I think they've just
<v Speaker 1>done away with it. So it's sometimes hard to tell
<v Speaker 1>what's actually airing on the show and what's airing during
<v Speaker 1>commercial The one thing I do know is that when
<v Speaker 1>they send Dan Housen out there, he has become the
<v Speaker 1>That's my reaction to the to the Dan Housen stuff.
<v Speaker 1>He's become the commercial guy, at least the last few weeks. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>he comes out in his Dan Housen mobile today, I'll
<v Speaker 1>cut him some slack. Tonight was his birthday. He had
<v Speaker 1>a birthday hat on. Everybody in the crowd was singing
<v Speaker 1>Happy birthday to Dan Housen. List we didn't have any
<v Speaker 1>dopey birthday segments on the show. When I see Dan
<v Speaker 1>Housen ride out in the car, I know they're a
<v Speaker 1>commercial break. Evans did his running dive out outside, run
<v Speaker 1>around the ring, dive over the barricade into the timekeeper's area,
<v Speaker 1>appeared to injure his knee in the process, which gave
<v Speaker 1>McDonough the opening that he needed. Evans made a comeback,
<v Speaker 1>though with a springboard clothesline. Mcdonoughh was able to avoid
<v Speaker 1>the og cutter attempt and hit a brain buster for
<v Speaker 1>a near fall. Jad then went up for a moon salt.
<v Speaker 1>Evans cut him off. He climbed up. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what he was going for, but McDonough slipped underneath him
<v Speaker 1>and then tripped Evans up. He fell down face first
<v Speaker 1>onto the top turn buckle. So mcdonoughh tried for the
<v Speaker 1>moon salt again, Evans moved so he missed, and then
<v Speaker 1>Evans headed up top, came flying off and hit a
<v Speaker 1>picture perfect og cutter. McDonough's sold this perfectly and he
<v Speaker 1>pinned him. I love that little leg twitch though. If
<v Speaker 1>you saw the end of this match, right on the three,
<v Speaker 1>like right before the three count, McDonagh just he tried
<v Speaker 1>to kick out. It was just like showing he couldn't
<v Speaker 1>do it. He didn't have enough, but he was still
<v Speaker 1>like in it. He just didn't have enough to actually
<v Speaker 1>kick out. So the crowd was really behind Javan here
<v Speaker 1>in this match, like super behind him in this match.
<v Speaker 1>I just wish it had a little more time. Time
<v Speaker 1>is the one thing this match really did not have.
<v Speaker 1>It went about six minutes. It was solid though. After
<v Speaker 1>that big cast, he ambushed Evans from behind, third straight
<v Speaker 1>week that he has ambushed this man, and he mauled him.
<v Speaker 1>He put him down with the east river crossing and
<v Speaker 1>then he went to go leave. He stepped out over
<v Speaker 1>the top rope. He made it not even halfway down
<v Speaker 1>the aisle. Javan gets on the mic and he says
<v Speaker 1>that all you got, and Cass says, oh yeah, you
<v Speaker 1>want some more? So he comes back down to the
<v Speaker 1>ring and he goes to climb over the top rope.
<v Speaker 1>Javon cuts him off, knocks him back out to the floor,
<v Speaker 1>and then he hit a dive, not over the top
<v Speaker 1>like he normally does. He had to dive through the
<v Speaker 1>ropes because he was selling the knee, so he couldn't
<v Speaker 1>build up the momentum he needed on the bad knee,
<v Speaker 1>so instead of going out over the top, he went
<v Speaker 1>through the ropes. But then Dom was out there. He
<v Speaker 1>sent Evans into the ring post to ruin all of
<v Speaker 1>his momentum, and then Dom and McDonough they walked around
<v Speaker 1>big Cast. They're like, okay, we're out of here, so
<v Speaker 1>they left. So Cass now had Evans all to himself.
<v Speaker 1>He sent him into the barricade outside, then back inside
<v Speaker 1>he mowed him down with a big boot and for
<v Speaker 1>the third straight week, he left this kid laying they've
<v Speaker 1>done well so far to give Cast the monster push.
<v Speaker 1>What I mean by monster push is they've made this
<v Speaker 1>man out to be a monster. Not that they're not
<v Speaker 1>that they're pushing him more than anybody else on the show,
<v Speaker 1>but even the way they shoot him, like when he's
<v Speaker 1>in the ring and they shoot him low to make
<v Speaker 1>him look even bigger. They don't have to really do that.
<v Speaker 1>The guy's a fucking giant, but he's getting the monster push,
<v Speaker 1>and Javan Evans obviously is just outmatched, right, I mean, anyway,
<v Speaker 1>this guy's twice his size, and I'm just waiting for
<v Speaker 1>the match. What will be very interesting is Cass has
<v Speaker 1>not wrestled yet, so it looks like his first match
<v Speaker 1>is probably unless they give him some sort of squash
<v Speaker 1>match in the next few weeks. Seems pretty clear that
<v Speaker 1>first match will be against Javan, and I think from
<v Speaker 1>that match we'll learn fairly quickly what the real goal
<v Speaker 1>is here. Now, you can accomplish both of these things.
<v Speaker 1>You can do the match in a way where Javon
<v Speaker 1>Evans gets over. Right, He's got spunk, he just won't quit.
<v Speaker 1>He keeps kicking out, but in the end he just
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have what it takes right and he loses. But
<v Speaker 1>you just try to portray him as a guy that
<v Speaker 1>just will not he will not die. Or you could
<v Speaker 1>have him beat Cass if it's more important to them
<v Speaker 1>to really get Javan over. You give Javan a win
<v Speaker 1>over a guy that's twice his size, then we know
<v Speaker 1>it's more about pushing Javan not as much of a
<v Speaker 1>great sign for Cast, but this guy, I mean, you
<v Speaker 1>just look at him. How are you gonna beat him
<v Speaker 1>in his first match? You know what I mean? Like,
<v Speaker 1>if you're gonna do the first match, just have Cast
<v Speaker 1>beat the fucking shit out of him. That's it. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't have to be a squash, but like he's
<v Speaker 1>got to go over. I think coming out of that match,
<v Speaker 1>depending on how the finish goes, we'll get a better
<v Speaker 1>sense of what the real priority is here. Yeah, you
<v Speaker 1>can try to accomplish both. They can both come out
<v Speaker 1>of it looking good, but to me, it would be
<v Speaker 1>more important to have Cast go over. It was his
<v Speaker 1>first match, first match eight years losing to Javon Evans.
<v Speaker 1>Come on, we had a first round match in the
<v Speaker 1>tournament to crown a number one contender to Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>and his World Heavyweight championship on September fourteenth in Mexico City.
<v Speaker 1>And this is the way that the tournament bracket actually
<v Speaker 1>after the show tonight is looking Panta already had to
<v Speaker 1>win over Laredo Kid he had moved into the next round,
<v Speaker 1>and then on the Triple A show, Laparka beat Psycho Clown.
<v Speaker 1>That match between pent and Laparka is coming up next
<v Speaker 1>week tonight. Here in this match, we had Ray Phoenix,
<v Speaker 1>the reigning Triple A Cruiserweight Champion, taking on l Fizzcal
<v Speaker 1>Fitzcah God, I wish I had pulled a photo of him.
<v Speaker 1>Fitzcal came out here. I mean he looked like a
<v Speaker 1>gold Power Ranger, Like I can't unsee it. He's fuck
<v Speaker 1>I came out there as a fucking Power Ranger and
<v Speaker 1>obviously didn't give much of a response because these people
<v Speaker 1>have no idea who this guy is. But Phoenix caught
<v Speaker 1>him with a springboard moon salt for a near fall.
<v Speaker 1>Fiscal late in the match, he teased a tombstone pile
<v Speaker 1>driver got Phoenix up in position for Phoenix that was
<v Speaker 1>able to counter out into a cradle for a near fall.
<v Speaker 1>Phoenix then got him in the corner and he got
<v Speaker 1>him in position for the Mexican musclebuster for the win.
<v Speaker 1>This shocked me. This shocked me. I was stunned. Stunned,
<v Speaker 1>I tell you that El Fiscal is not going on
<v Speaker 1>to Mexico City to potentially wrestle Roman Reigns for the
<v Speaker 1>world Heavyweight Championship. I was just floored. I couldn't believe it,
<v Speaker 1>couldn't believe the outcome of this match. They got six minutes,
<v Speaker 1>They got six minutes. It really wasn't anything special as
<v Speaker 1>Rap Phoenix matches go. This is about as tame of
<v Speaker 1>a Ray Phoenix match as you are ever gonna see. Now.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying this guy should go out there and
<v Speaker 1>kill himself the way he was doing in some of
<v Speaker 1>those aw matches that he was having on TV, But
<v Speaker 1>my god, you have a guy like Ray Phoenix, let
<v Speaker 1>him go out there and do Ray Phoenix things. Very
<v Speaker 1>tame match. Obviously, with the outcome that we all expected,
<v Speaker 1>anything else here would have been incredibly stupid. Ray Phoenix
<v Speaker 1>should be in the finals of this tournament. Forget the
<v Speaker 1>semi finals. He should be in the finals. Maybe I'll
<v Speaker 1>look at Alexander maybe in the next maybe in the
<v Speaker 1>next fiscal year, the next fiscal year. Boy, that was bad.
<v Speaker 1>That was bad. I should have given you the flush
<v Speaker 1>for that one. Roderick says, just get me to Phoenix
<v Speaker 1>and Dragon Lye and then Phoenix Impenta in the final.
<v Speaker 1>It should not go any other way, brother, should not
<v Speaker 1>go any other way. Well that's okay, though, El Fiscal.
<v Speaker 1>He'll go back and uh, he'll congregate with all the
<v Speaker 1>other power rangers, and I'm sure there's some sort of
<v Speaker 1>evildoers out there that he can go occupy his time with.
<v Speaker 1>After this, we had Soul Ruka Richie rich over here
<v Speaker 1>dropping all this money. Wait just a minute, I just
<v Speaker 1>want you to know, forget soul Ruka. I don't mean
<v Speaker 1>the rock A rock we ain't talking about. So, oh
<v Speaker 1>my goodness, that is Aaron Aaron Riggerio with a one
<v Speaker 1>hundred dollars bomb to follow up on the one that
<v Speaker 1>we got earlier from j Man. Wow, he was there tonight. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>Aaron still was there tonight. We were loud in the
<v Speaker 1>house for Oba and Bronze segment. Folks around me were
<v Speaker 1>noticeably booing and flipping off Roman. Well, I mean that's
<v Speaker 1>a good sign, don't get me wrong. Roman was popular.
<v Speaker 1>I was in the lower bowl and the surrounding sections
<v Speaker 1>were clamoring for La He is a no brainer man. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I take no pleasure when I come on here every
<v Speaker 1>week and I talk about the fact that La Night
<v Speaker 1>is not going to win the World Heavyweight Championship, because look,
<v Speaker 1>you've heard me talk about La Night a year ago,
<v Speaker 1>two years ago. Right, this should have been something that
<v Speaker 1>happened a long time ago. And you can only get
<v Speaker 1>burned so many times. And you hear the crowd reactions
<v Speaker 1>and you see the guy get an opportunity, and then
<v Speaker 1>they don't go with him, and then he gets another
<v Speaker 1>opportunity and they don't go with him, and then they
<v Speaker 1>funnel him down the card. And after a while, it's like,
<v Speaker 1>why should I you know what I mean, Like, why
<v Speaker 1>should I sit here and give them the benefit of
<v Speaker 1>the doubt that, oh, this time it's going to be different.
<v Speaker 1>I want to believe it. I can't. I can't bring
<v Speaker 1>myself to believe it. But you're not wrong. It should
<v Speaker 1>be a no brainer. Did she see the comments that
<v Speaker 1>Aj Styles made on his podcast. He's wrestled La Night before,
<v Speaker 1>said La Knight like you said, no brainer? He also
<v Speaker 1>would love to see La and Night walk out with
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship the next shot he gets. I
<v Speaker 1>think Aj is going to be very disappointed, as many
<v Speaker 1>of you will be, But I'm not disappointed after that.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Erin, Well you got a good show tonight.
<v Speaker 1>I'm I'm glad you were able to be there for it.
<v Speaker 1>What we were going to get into next. That was
<v Speaker 1>the women's match Soul Ruco one on one with Lyra Valkyria,
<v Speaker 1>two former Women's inter Continental champions. No titles on the
<v Speaker 1>line here in this match, although maybe coming out of
<v Speaker 1>this match maybe they'll, you know, the winner will put
<v Speaker 1>themselves in contention for the title if you can believe it,
<v Speaker 1>and with this booking team you probably can. This was
<v Speaker 1>Lyra Valkyrie's first match on Raw since the night that
<v Speaker 1>she turned on Bailey. Do you know when that was?
<v Speaker 1>Two months ago? Now? In between she had the match
<v Speaker 1>at Madison Square Garden where she beat Bailey. But when
<v Speaker 1>somebody turns heel, right, and I wasn't even sure what
<v Speaker 1>kind of heel Lyra Valkyria would make. You've got to
<v Speaker 1>give them time on the television show though, to you know,
<v Speaker 1>develop their character. We know what babyface bird girl. Lyra
<v Speaker 1>Valkyria was like, okay, well now you want to establish
<v Speaker 1>heal Lyra. And we have these little vignettes that they
<v Speaker 1>drop every now and then. She's got no makeup on.
<v Speaker 1>She looks like she hasn't slept in two weeks. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know exactly what it is that she's going for.
<v Speaker 1>But you got to give her time on the show,
<v Speaker 1>and you got to put her in the fucking ring
<v Speaker 1>because she's very good. It's one of her strengths. You know.
<v Speaker 1>It was her in ring bell to bell. How is
<v Speaker 1>this her first match on this show in two months?
<v Speaker 1>It's ridiculous. Soul went for a handspring as she was
<v Speaker 1>heading towards the ropes. This right here was the best
<v Speaker 1>part of the match. This was great. So we've seen
<v Speaker 1>in the past Soul does this dive. It's not the
<v Speaker 1>Oh gosh, it's I was going to say a different name.
<v Speaker 1>That's not the right move. What the hell is the
<v Speaker 1>name of this move where she does the handspring out
<v Speaker 1>over the top rope, lands on her feet on the floor.
<v Speaker 1>What the fuck is that move? Called flying space Tiger driver?
<v Speaker 1>That's what it is, something like that. She was going
<v Speaker 1>for that hell of a name. By the way. As
<v Speaker 1>she was flipping towards the ropes though, and she went
<v Speaker 1>to go do the dive out over the top, Lyra
<v Speaker 1>met her on the apron and gave her a hangman's
<v Speaker 1>neck breaker across the top rope to the back of
<v Speaker 1>her neck. So you should take a look at it yourself.
<v Speaker 1>It was very impressive and could have ended the match
<v Speaker 1>after that because Lyra headed up top, she hit the
<v Speaker 1>leg slice off the top and Soul kicked out. So
<v Speaker 1>at that point I knew, okay, if Lyra was winning
<v Speaker 1>this match, it was going to be there, and the
<v Speaker 1>fact that she didn't told me, okay, well, I guess
<v Speaker 1>the finish is going a different way. Lyra went for
<v Speaker 1>night wing, Ruka countered out into a Tornado DDT and
<v Speaker 1>then Soul hit the Soul Snatcher and she got the pin. No, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>it's not a Fosberry flop. I don't think. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think Fosbury flop is what I was thinking of. It's
<v Speaker 1>like the flying Space Tiger Driver. Got some weird fucking
<v Speaker 1>names for these moves. Whatever it was, it backfired on her.
<v Speaker 1>But this turned into a solid wrestling match here between
<v Speaker 1>these two that I thought was better than the last
<v Speaker 1>match we saw them have, which was for the IC
<v Speaker 1>title on rawback in June, and I vaguely remember they
<v Speaker 1>may have had a match on a plag maybe Backlash
<v Speaker 1>a few months ago. I thought this match was better
<v Speaker 1>than those, But as much as I enjoyed the end
<v Speaker 1>of this match. I'm like Lyra has not wrestled on
<v Speaker 1>the show in two months. Finally she gets a match
<v Speaker 1>and you beat her. It's counterproductive, man. She needs to
<v Speaker 1>rack up some wins. She beat Bailey at Saturday Night's
<v Speaker 1>main event, right, which she needed to to establish herself
<v Speaker 1>obviously in this new persona. But you got to rack
<v Speaker 1>up some wins here. So they don't even put her
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, and when they do, they beat her.
<v Speaker 1>That's the part that I didn't agree with. But I
<v Speaker 1>thought these two had a good match. Space flying Tiger drop. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so maybe that's what it is. Who cares? It was
<v Speaker 1>a cool move we have in the back, That's what
<v Speaker 1>we have. Next, the USO's they met with Jacob foughtu.
<v Speaker 1>Jay Uso asked him why you look so sad? He said,
<v Speaker 1>we did something that your ass couldn't do. We ran
<v Speaker 1>the play and we brought Solo back to the bloodline.
<v Speaker 1>And then Jay got serious and he asked him, who's
<v Speaker 1>the punk ass now, Jacob. Meanwhile, Kathy Kelly was interviewing
<v Speaker 1>the Vision. In the back, bron Breaker was standing off
<v Speaker 1>to the side, just staring straight ahead. He could not
<v Speaker 1>give a single solitary shit about what these other bozos
<v Speaker 1>were talking about. Finally, Kathy asked Broun, do you have
<v Speaker 1>anything you want to say to Obafemi and Breaker said yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna say it to his face. So the camera
<v Speaker 1>follows Broun as he goes walking by himself. He leaves
<v Speaker 1>all the dwebs behind and he walks through the backstage area.
<v Speaker 1>He walks through the gorilla position out to the ring
<v Speaker 1>to address Obafemi. He says, if you want to be
<v Speaker 1>the future at this place, come out here and take
<v Speaker 1>it from me. Instead, he gets Paul Haman who walks out.
<v Speaker 1>Hey's talking about you know, I've been an oracle and
<v Speaker 1>I've been you know, an advocate, and I've been the
<v Speaker 1>wise man and certain things you know, I would say
<v Speaker 1>are wise to do other things or unwise to do anyway,
<v Speaker 1>he plays up this idea of like who is the
<v Speaker 1>future of WWE. Bron walks up to Hayman after Hayman
<v Speaker 1>gets in the ring, he goes, who do you think
<v Speaker 1>is the future of WWE? And Hayman was saved by
<v Speaker 1>the music because they played Obafemi's theme so he never
<v Speaker 1>had to answer the question. And Oba he strutted his
<v Speaker 1>way out to the ring. Oba said it was stupid
<v Speaker 1>for Broun to question who the future was. He said, everyone,
<v Speaker 1>even brock Lesner, has said that it's him. It's Oba Femi.
<v Speaker 1>And Oba said that a Breaker has a problem with that,
<v Speaker 1>he could take it up with him anytime. So Broun said,
<v Speaker 1>how about right here, right now? And the fans in
<v Speaker 1>Buffalo obviously they like that idea, and Oba was down
<v Speaker 1>for it. And then Hayman stepped in and he put
<v Speaker 1>his hand out right in front of Breaker, and Hayman
<v Speaker 1>said that if you take one more step towards Oba,
<v Speaker 1>you're going to be taking a permanent step away from me.
<v Speaker 1>The Breaker said, what are you doing? Hayman said, WWE
<v Speaker 1>is a publicly traded company. It's the biggest he didn't
<v Speaker 1>say wrestling company, but it was the biggest wrestling company
<v Speaker 1>in the world. It's a company that answers to shareholders.
<v Speaker 1>So the future is someone who understands box office and
<v Speaker 1>that you promote a match on the biggest stage possible.
<v Speaker 1>Hayman said he already set things up with Adam Pierce,
<v Speaker 1>and he said that it will be bron Breaker one
<v Speaker 1>on one with Oba Femi on Sunday, night's main event,
<v Speaker 1>and he goes for Breaker in your hometown of Atlanta.
<v Speaker 1>It's going to be in your home state of Georgia.
<v Speaker 1>Hayman said, we would learn who truly is the future
<v Speaker 1>of WWE that night. Breaker looked pleased with this development,
<v Speaker 1>and Hayman held the ropes open. Braun left the ring
<v Speaker 1>big smile on his face, and as Braun turns around,
<v Speaker 1>he happens to see Paul Hayman shake hands with Obafemi,
<v Speaker 1>and then Hayman leads the ring, but Bron has a
<v Speaker 1>look on his face like he's not happy. He wasn't
<v Speaker 1>expecting that. He doesn't know what to make of it.
<v Speaker 1>Hayman's got a big smile on his face and he
<v Speaker 1>goes walking on by to the back. This was very brief,
<v Speaker 1>but this was good. It accomplished what it needed to do,
<v Speaker 1>which was to let everybody know, Hey, guess what, You're
<v Speaker 1>not gonna have to wait too long. You're not gonna
<v Speaker 1>have to wait very much longer to get the match.
<v Speaker 1>Here's where you can see it, here's the wear and when.
<v Speaker 1>And next week, by the way, they're going to be
<v Speaker 1>having a contract signing for this match. So that sets
<v Speaker 1>up the second big match now for that Sunday Night's
<v Speaker 1>main eventure. They've already made it official that Cody Rhoades
<v Speaker 1>is going to be wrestling Randy Orton. Have Oba and
<v Speaker 1>Bram both matches, by the way, no titles on the line,
<v Speaker 1>but those are two very big matches for that show breaker. Again,
<v Speaker 1>he was pleased with Hayman, but then he caught him
<v Speaker 1>shaking hands, and so you know, the paranoia sets in.
<v Speaker 1>The paranoia sets in. Can I trust this guy? He's
<v Speaker 1>all chummy chummy with Oba Femi? I don't know, Are
<v Speaker 1>you with me or you with him? That's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>the story, And I'm not really enamored with it, and
<v Speaker 1>I'll tell you why because to me, it just feels
<v Speaker 1>like a rehash of what we've already seen. Well, first
<v Speaker 1>of all, Paul Hayman does not always need to be
<v Speaker 1>the center of attention with this shit. That's number one,
<v Speaker 1>number two. It's like what we got with the Night
<v Speaker 1>one WrestleMania main event last year. It was all about Hayman,
<v Speaker 1>Roman and Seth and Punk. They're like, who's gonna have
<v Speaker 1>their allegiance with Paul Haman, Who's gonna win the hand
<v Speaker 1>of Hayman or who will Hayman stab in the back
<v Speaker 1>like he was the focal point of the story. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think he needs to be the focal point of
<v Speaker 1>the story here, but it looks like he's going to be.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm just glad we don't I have to wait
<v Speaker 1>too long to see the match. It is kind of
<v Speaker 1>funny to me that Hayman was talking about how you
<v Speaker 1>know a match like this you gotta wait for the
<v Speaker 1>biggest possible stage, and then they announced it for fucking
<v Speaker 1>Sunday Nights main event. But good. It's about time they
<v Speaker 1>put some effort into one of these shows. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>the last couple of Saturday Night's main event shows were
<v Speaker 1>not exactly light in the World on Fire because they
<v Speaker 1>have no pl in September. This is going to be
<v Speaker 1>the de facto big pl E for the month because
<v Speaker 1>after that we don't have anything really until Money in
<v Speaker 1>the Bank unless you can't World's Collide. Yeah, I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>Sam Punk will be on that show, but we don't
<v Speaker 1>have a whole lot between now and money in the bank.
<v Speaker 1>This will help bridge the gap until we get there. Now.
<v Speaker 1>In the final first round match in the Roman Reigns Tournament,
<v Speaker 1>it was Dragon Lee one on one with El Eho
<v Speaker 1>Del Doctor Wagner Junior. Wagner clearly had the size advantage
<v Speaker 1>here in this match. Crowd was very quiet for this
<v Speaker 1>until Dragon Lee caught him with a dive out to
<v Speaker 1>the floor that got a rise out of him. Then
<v Speaker 1>they got into a chop battle. Lee hung him up
<v Speaker 1>in the ropes tree of Woes style, went up top
<v Speaker 1>hit the double stomp for an ear fall Dragon Lee.
<v Speaker 1>He tried for a leaping rana out over the top row,
<v Speaker 1>but as he went flying over the top, Wagner held
<v Speaker 1>onto him, turned around, and then from the apron power
<v Speaker 1>bombed him back into the ring. Then he went up
<v Speaker 1>top came flying off with a frog splash, only for
<v Speaker 1>a two later on, Wagner hit a superplex. Lee countered
<v Speaker 1>out of his Wagner driver attempt into a version of
<v Speaker 1>a Destino, and then he followed that up with a
<v Speaker 1>proper one operation Dragon for the win. This was the
<v Speaker 1>better of the two first round matches that we had.
<v Speaker 1>I like this one more, and they got about five
<v Speaker 1>minutes more too. First one got like six minutes. This
<v Speaker 1>one had about, hmmm, what this get about eleven minutes,
<v Speaker 1>so that helped. So Dragon Lee, let me put the
<v Speaker 1>bracket back up here so you guys can get a
<v Speaker 1>visual aid. Dragon Lee is now going to wrestle Ray
<v Speaker 1>Phoenix in the next round of this tournament. A boy,
<v Speaker 1>that match has the potential to be fucking awesome if
<v Speaker 1>they let them. I hate that I have to kind
<v Speaker 1>of put that caveat there, but I feel like I
<v Speaker 1>always have to put the caveat with WWE when it
<v Speaker 1>comes to the Lutradors. If they let them, we got
<v Speaker 1>some good wrestling tonight. But Dragon Le and Ray Phoenix,
<v Speaker 1>like you and I both know what these guys can
<v Speaker 1>do in the ring together if you put them in
<v Speaker 1>there one on one. Are they going to be given
<v Speaker 1>the opportunity to do that. Are they gonna slow things down?
<v Speaker 1>Are they going to have the time they need to
<v Speaker 1>really build some drama, Because I'm gonna tell you something
<v Speaker 1>right now, the only real drama in this tournament is
<v Speaker 1>that Dragon Le Ray Phoenix match. There is no drama
<v Speaker 1>with Penta and La Park. There is no drama with
<v Speaker 1>Penta and Ray Phoenix. If they do that in the finals,
<v Speaker 1>or if they do Penta and Dragon Lee, however, I
<v Speaker 1>could see them sending Dragonly to the finals It is
<v Speaker 1>not a guarantee that we're gonna get Penta and Ray Phoenix.
<v Speaker 1>I think we will. I think we should. But at
<v Speaker 1>least here there's some doubt like it could go either way.
<v Speaker 1>Not a lot of doubt, but at least there's a
<v Speaker 1>little bit of doubt. But let them just go out
<v Speaker 1>there and do what they do. You know some of
<v Speaker 1>these sometimes we get these Luca matches in this company
<v Speaker 1>and it's like they're working at half speed. You know.
<v Speaker 1>We had that in the first round actually with the
<v Speaker 1>Penta and Laredo kid. We had that a couple of
<v Speaker 1>weeks ago. You let these two guys go out there
<v Speaker 1>and do what they do. That's gonna be a fucking
<v Speaker 1>great match. Speaking of luchadors and speaking of great matches,
<v Speaker 1>they definitely let these guys go out there and do
<v Speaker 1>their thing. Chad Gable, this was his first defense of
<v Speaker 1>the Intercontinental Championship since winning it at Summer Slim. He
<v Speaker 1>went out there to defend against raymus Stereo. He was
<v Speaker 1>more than happy to give Ray a shot at the title,
<v Speaker 1>and Ray accept and now Ray already had a shot
<v Speaker 1>at the title in June against Penta and he lost.
<v Speaker 1>So I was like hmm, all right, I'm gonna give
<v Speaker 1>him another shot. I they can't possibly be thinking about
<v Speaker 1>taking the belt off Gable this soon. I guess Ray's
<v Speaker 1>just gonna go in there and lose again. And I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't even sure they were doing the match to night
<v Speaker 1>until earlier today I saw they added it to the lineup.
<v Speaker 1>I was a little surprised. I thought they were going
<v Speaker 1>to save this from Mexico City. But we got it tonight.
<v Speaker 1>And the beginning, they're shaking hands right, everything's cool between them,
<v Speaker 1>and they both had the same idea. They both threw
<v Speaker 1>kicks at each other's gut to kick things off, so
<v Speaker 1>they fought out to the apron where Mysterio hit a
<v Speaker 1>RNA that took both of them down to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>There was also a spot where Ray hit and a
<v Speaker 1>Sahi moon salt from the ropes to the floor. Gable
<v Speaker 1>was back in the ring when Mysterio tried to I
<v Speaker 1>think he was trying to springboard back inside as he
<v Speaker 1>goes flying back into the ring, though Gable somehow turned
<v Speaker 1>this into a Fisherman's suplex for a near fall. I
<v Speaker 1>haven't seen that. I have not seen that kind of
<v Speaker 1>counter into a Fisherman's suplex. So that was cool. That
<v Speaker 1>was very clean. We got a diving head butt from
<v Speaker 1>gear angle slam only got a near fall. Ray tried
<v Speaker 1>for a six to one nine. Gable, though, caught his
<v Speaker 1>leg into an ankle lock. Ray was able to fight
<v Speaker 1>out of that. He sent Gable face first into the
<v Speaker 1>middle turn buckle. Ray then caught him with a six
<v Speaker 1>to one nine. He didn't catch him like normally he
<v Speaker 1>does it like in the middle of the ropes. This
<v Speaker 1>was closer to the post. But he hit the six
<v Speaker 1>one nine, and then after that he was able to
<v Speaker 1>get him in like the proper position, and then he
<v Speaker 1>hit another six to one nine, and now the crowd
<v Speaker 1>is going ape shit. Now, it's not a case where
<v Speaker 1>they were like booing Gable. It's not like the crowd
<v Speaker 1>turned on Gable because they like Ray Moore. They they
<v Speaker 1>may have liked Ray Moore, but they just, you know,
<v Speaker 1>were so into the idea that this man was going
<v Speaker 1>to capture this championship. They got lost in the moment, right.
<v Speaker 1>Aaron sent in a super chat before he was there.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure he was part of that crowd that was
<v Speaker 1>cheering and hoping that Ray mysteria was going to pull
<v Speaker 1>it off, and he goes to the top. He comes
<v Speaker 1>flying off with the splash and he got the knees up.
<v Speaker 1>He got the knees up, and then at that point
<v Speaker 1>he got the ankle lock applied yet again. Ray tried
<v Speaker 1>to kick him away a couple of times that didn't work.
<v Speaker 1>Then Ray tried to turn it into a cradle. Gable
<v Speaker 1>was able to reverse backwards into a cradle of his own,
<v Speaker 1>and he got the pin to retain the championship. They
<v Speaker 1>actually got longer for this match than Gable and Penta
<v Speaker 1>did for their Summer Slam match, so I was again
<v Speaker 1>surprised to see them do this match at all tonight.
<v Speaker 1>I thought they were going to want to save this
<v Speaker 1>match for Mexico City and just really build up a
<v Speaker 1>big raw show next month with the world title on
<v Speaker 1>the line. I see title on the line, and it
<v Speaker 1>may still be, but it'll be against somebody else. Crowd
<v Speaker 1>tonight again they were on their feet for the final
<v Speaker 1>closing moments of this here. I'm glad we didn't have
<v Speaker 1>to wait. You know, hey, I'm not complaining about the
<v Speaker 1>fact that we got the match a month early. Mexico
<v Speaker 1>City is still four weeks away. But this was fucking great.
<v Speaker 1>And this is what I was talking about at the
<v Speaker 1>beginning of the stream, where sometimes Ray is out there
<v Speaker 1>again it's kind of a slower match and he's not
<v Speaker 1>doing anything too crazy. He didn't do anything too crazy
<v Speaker 1>here either, But the fact that he's even out there
<v Speaker 1>doing SII moon salts and just moving around the way
<v Speaker 1>that he moves around is incredible when you consider the
<v Speaker 1>longevity that he has had. Yeah, I said this on Twitter.
<v Speaker 1>I said, we are coming up in the next few
<v Speaker 1>years on the fortieth anniversary of his debut match. He
<v Speaker 1>was fourteen years old when he debuted in nineteen eighty nine.
<v Speaker 1>The fact that he is still going out there and
<v Speaker 1>doing the things that he does, the working that style, right,
<v Speaker 1>he was always he was a luta doors It's not
<v Speaker 1>like he's working a ground based style. And all the
<v Speaker 1>knee surgeries and all the injuries that he's had over
<v Speaker 1>the years, it's incredible. There's nobody else like him. There's
<v Speaker 1>just nobody else who's active, who has that sort of
<v Speaker 1>longevity and is out there doing the things that he does.
<v Speaker 1>So this was great. I enjoyed this. The match as
<v Speaker 1>a whole was very good. And it's a great win
<v Speaker 1>for Gable. You know, Ray strapped the belt around his
<v Speaker 1>waist the big endorsement when the match was over, So
<v Speaker 1>this was great. Hopefully they will get Gable somebody to
<v Speaker 1>defend that title against in Mexico City, because last time
<v Speaker 1>we saw him in Mexico he was pretty beloved himself,
<v Speaker 1>as was El Grande Americana. I want to see Gable
<v Speaker 1>defend on that show. Who would be the best opponent
<v Speaker 1>for him? Though, I don't know who should red deefend
<v Speaker 1>that championship against on that show. I have to think
<v Speaker 1>about that. Penta is already occupy. We're not gonna be
<v Speaker 1>getting a Summer Slam rematch on that show. Maybe Phoenix. Well,
<v Speaker 1>the Phoenix already has a belt. He's already got that
<v Speaker 1>triple A. You know what, though, you can still do it.
<v Speaker 1>You still do the match. No law that says you can't.
<v Speaker 1>We go to the back, and just in time, guess
<v Speaker 1>who arrived. In the nick of time, the world heavyweight
<v Speaker 1>champion has arrived. Roman Reigns in his suv and wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>you know what, it's time for him to walk out
<v Speaker 1>to the ring to close the show. Jacob FAUGHTU was
<v Speaker 1>already there waiting for him. The two of them made
<v Speaker 1>their way through the back, through Gorilla and out to
<v Speaker 1>the ring. They went to a commercial. They came back.
<v Speaker 1>Roman got the fans to acknowledge him, and then he said,
<v Speaker 1>bring me Solo, and I said, well, I can't. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sitting here and I'm getting ready for my review. But
<v Speaker 1>the crowd was going enough for Solo, so co they
<v Speaker 1>did not want him to join. He came out with
<v Speaker 1>the ussos again. He looked like he would rather be anywhere.
<v Speaker 1>But there he gets into the ring and they're chanting
<v Speaker 1>his name and Roman said, I don't care what they're saying.
<v Speaker 1>The sight of you, just the sight of you is
<v Speaker 1>pissing me off. Now some people say that he's petty,
<v Speaker 1>that he holds receipts, but how could he not with Solo?
<v Speaker 1>And then he flubbed. He said, almost three years ago now,
<v Speaker 1>it was on raw, the premiere on Netflix Tribal Combat,
<v Speaker 1>that he beat Solo's ass. And I said, has it
<v Speaker 1>really been that long since the beginning of the Netflix relationship.
<v Speaker 1>I said, I don't think it's been three years. It
<v Speaker 1>was January of last year. His timeline was off a
<v Speaker 1>little bit but he said that they put a little
<v Speaker 1>something together. So he directed our attention to the tron
<v Speaker 1>and they showed highlights This is before Tribal Combat at
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of last year, where he was saying that
<v Speaker 1>he would acknowledge Roman if he lost tribal combat, right,
<v Speaker 1>he would get the ula follow back. He'll happily acknowledge
<v Speaker 1>Roman if he loses to him fair and square, which
<v Speaker 1>he did, and he did acknowledge Roman, but he never
<v Speaker 1>returned to the family. He didn't want to go back.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't want to have anything to do with the family.
<v Speaker 1>And then last week they showed the clip of him
<v Speaker 1>telling jay Usso to tell Roman reins you know, he
<v Speaker 1>could kiss his ass. So now we come back live.
<v Speaker 1>Roman is a time traveler, yes, and Cody beat him
<v Speaker 1>thirteen years ago. Yeah, his timeline is a little off.
<v Speaker 1>Come back live. Roman is staring a hole through Solo.
<v Speaker 1>Solo's biting his lip, just holding back a smile. Barely
<v Speaker 1>We got Solo chance from the crowd. Roman said, Buffalo
<v Speaker 1>may think this is funny, but my question is this,
<v Speaker 1>why do you think it's funny? He says, you're a
<v Speaker 1>cool guy. Now, huh you got He's looking at his
<v Speaker 1>I assume he's talking about his watch. Roman's big watch guy.
<v Speaker 1>He's looking at him. He goes, oh, you gotta you
<v Speaker 1>gotta John Meyer on you. Huh, you got your little chain.
<v Speaker 1>He pulled solo sunglasses off, through him down, stomped on him.
<v Speaker 1>He goes, why are you even looking me in the
<v Speaker 1>eye right now? Why aren't you on your hands and
<v Speaker 1>knees begging me right now? And that was the cue,
<v Speaker 1>I guess for Jacob to deliver the superkick, not to Roman,
<v Speaker 1>that would have gotten a big pop. He superkicks Solo
<v Speaker 1>in the face and then he put the tongue in
<v Speaker 1>death grip on so Roman screams enough like Cody would.
<v Speaker 1>Jacob releases the grip. Solo is writhing around on the
<v Speaker 1>mat holding his throat, and Roman says, you're not too funny, now,
<v Speaker 1>are you. It goes matter of fact, Solo's gonna have
<v Speaker 1>to wait there for a little bit because I got
<v Speaker 1>other business to handle. Because the Twins, they call the play,
<v Speaker 1>they execute the play. They level up. And he wants
<v Speaker 1>this to be understood. He's the tribal chief and these
<v Speaker 1>are his captains. These are made men. If you disrespect them,
<v Speaker 1>you disrespect him, so a stagehand. I don't know, maybe
<v Speaker 1>it was Lord Mark. I couldn't see who it was
<v Speaker 1>off camera, but they reached up and they handed Roman
<v Speaker 1>two black Oula follows and Roman placed one around Jimmy's neck.
<v Speaker 1>He plays the other one around Jay's neck. Meanwhile, they
<v Speaker 1>showed Jacob in the corner and he is fuming, right
<v Speaker 1>because there's none for him, so they have La fallows
<v Speaker 1>but not him. Plus Jay had disrespected him earlier and
<v Speaker 1>said who's the punk ass now, right, so Jacob is
<v Speaker 1>not happy. Roman tells Solo, get your ass up, and
<v Speaker 1>then we hear La Knight's music, big pop for l
<v Speaker 1>A Knight. He walks out, takes off the vest. He's like, ah,
<v Speaker 1>what we got here? Four on one whatever? He gets up
<v Speaker 1>on the apron. He low bridges Jay Usso out over
<v Speaker 1>the top row. He hip tossed Jimmy out of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He gets inside. Jacob attacks from behind and he's going
<v Speaker 1>to apply the Tonguan death grip. As he's coming in
<v Speaker 1>to apply the Tonguan death grip, Roman stops him, backs
<v Speaker 1>him into the corner. He's brow beating him. He's yelling.
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't hear everything he was saying, but it was
<v Speaker 1>probably again last week he told them no one puts
<v Speaker 1>their hands on Night except me, so I would imagine
<v Speaker 1>he was probably telling them off for that. And he
<v Speaker 1>delivers the Superman punch of his own, does Roman to
<v Speaker 1>La Knight. So now he mounts him and he's gonna
<v Speaker 1>go pummel Night, but he stops. He looks over at Solo,
<v Speaker 1>who's licking his wounds in the corner, and he tells
<v Speaker 1>the ussos to pick him up, pick up La Knight,
<v Speaker 1>so they do, and then Roman grabs Solo and he
<v Speaker 1>goes where your family, says, I brought you in. You
<v Speaker 1>got to make some tough decisions now, end him. I
<v Speaker 1>shouldn't have to do it. You do it. You're here
<v Speaker 1>to serve, serve your family now, and Solo is thinking
<v Speaker 1>about it, and he just starts saying I'm sorry, singing
<v Speaker 1>to La Night, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, saying he's sorry
<v Speaker 1>over and over and over again. And then he goes
<v Speaker 1>to deliver the spike and he turns and he spikes
<v Speaker 1>Roman instead, and everybody pops. If you remember the segment
<v Speaker 1>many years ago where jay Uso said I'm out and
<v Speaker 1>he gave Roman the superkick and everybody lost their shit.
<v Speaker 1>This wasn't as big as that, but it was sort
<v Speaker 1>of the same thing where it's like, okay, we got
<v Speaker 1>the little swerve Roman, you know, in this case took
<v Speaker 1>a spike and not a superkick, and everybody lost their minds.
<v Speaker 1>The crowd goes crazy. Then he does Solo does the
<v Speaker 1>gun gesture like Jay usso does. He does it towards
<v Speaker 1>j right, that's his warning shot. Jay comes at him,
<v Speaker 1>but he gets sent outside. He back elbows Jimmy, which
<v Speaker 1>knocks Jimmy backwards into a BFT from La Night. Outside
<v Speaker 1>the ring, Solo goes and spikes j over by the
<v Speaker 1>timekeeper's barricade in the ring. Night and Fat two. Now
<v Speaker 1>they're face to face and Jacob is He's just standing
<v Speaker 1>there in the corner with his arms kind of crossed,
<v Speaker 1>and he's refusing to live to finger to him because
<v Speaker 1>again he was yelled at by Roman, so he's just
<v Speaker 1>gonna stand there like a good soldier and not do anything.
<v Speaker 1>Roman tried to catch him with a Superman punch, Night though,
<v Speaker 1>caught him instead with the BFT, and all through this
<v Speaker 1>again Jacob just stood there. Solo gets back in the
<v Speaker 1>ring and La Knight is there. He's looking at Solo,
<v Speaker 1>Solo's looking at him. Night puts his fist out, Solo
<v Speaker 1>gives him a fist bump back, and the two of
<v Speaker 1>them leave together as Jacob just stands there with Roman
<v Speaker 1>on the mat. As Bloodline segments go, this was one
<v Speaker 1>of the better ones, the best one we've had in forever.
<v Speaker 1>Even better, Solo now stays babyface instead of dragging this out.
<v Speaker 1>He rejoined for a while. And look, I think that
<v Speaker 1>there could have been some there could have been some
<v Speaker 1>interesting TV segments to come out of that. If you
<v Speaker 1>have Solo unwillingly in the Bloodline or pretending that he's
<v Speaker 1>okay with being back in the Bloodline and he's trying
<v Speaker 1>to sort of infiltrate from within, I mean, there's a
<v Speaker 1>few different ways you could have gone with it. But
<v Speaker 1>I'm happy they're keeping him as a babyface now because
<v Speaker 1>that's the right role for him to be in. Meanwhile,
<v Speaker 1>they're continuing to stoke this tension between Roman and Jacob,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't think I mean, I feel the same
<v Speaker 1>way I felt before, which is that when Roman loses
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship, he's going to disappear. So when
<v Speaker 1>he disappears and he's ready to leave again, that's when
<v Speaker 1>they pull the trigger on Jacob, turning on him. Jacob
<v Speaker 1>then takes his spot, and Jacob will lead the bloodline.
<v Speaker 1>I said this, you know Zillafa two debuted on NXT
<v Speaker 1>last week, and I don't know how long they plan
<v Speaker 1>on keeping him down there. I think you can keep
<v Speaker 1>him down there for a while. I don't think there's
<v Speaker 1>any rush to get him on the main roster. It's
<v Speaker 1>not the blood line is going anywhere. The blood Line's
<v Speaker 1>going to be here for another five or ten years,
<v Speaker 1>so you can give him a run as the NXT champion.
<v Speaker 1>You can keep him down there for a fucking year
<v Speaker 1>if you want to. But when the time is right
<v Speaker 1>and he gets called up, he can be to Jacob
<v Speaker 1>what Jacob is at the moment to Roman, maybe not
<v Speaker 1>as much of a like a man servant, but kind
<v Speaker 1>of like his right hand guy. And we again, we
<v Speaker 1>know the blood line is still going to be around,
<v Speaker 1>but you kind of give it a makeover. Roman goes
<v Speaker 1>away for a while, Jacob takes that leadership position. Eventually
<v Speaker 1>Zilla comes up. Zilla could be his boy. Do you
<v Speaker 1>keep the usos in there. You know, right now, Jacob
<v Speaker 1>and the USO's are not exactly seeing ey to. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know Jacob would want them in the bloodline, but
<v Speaker 1>without them, you don't have much of a bloodlin. You
<v Speaker 1>got two people. So but there's ways that you can
<v Speaker 1>kind of give it a makeover. I don't think whatever
<v Speaker 1>happens with Jacob, though, happens until Roman loses that title.
<v Speaker 1>If you are of the belief that Roman is going
<v Speaker 1>to lose to La Night, maybe it happens in a
<v Speaker 1>couple of months. I'm not one of those people. I
<v Speaker 1>think we're looking at like WrestleMania next year. It's going
<v Speaker 1>to be a while, but I think that's what they're
<v Speaker 1>ultimately building towards. So he didn't look very happy in
<v Speaker 1>this segment. But I don't think that there's some sort of,
<v Speaker 1>you know, imminent explosion that's going to be happening. I
<v Speaker 1>just don't think they're ready for that yet. You know,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think Roman is going anywhere yet. I really
<v Speaker 1>hope we're not in for like a bloodline civil war
<v Speaker 1>type thing at wargames. I would hope they have some
<v Speaker 1>other idea for wargames, or if the Bloodline is going
<v Speaker 1>to be in there. Just keep them all on one side,
<v Speaker 1>you know, have a completely different team on the other.
<v Speaker 1>That's too early to start speculating about wargames. But as
<v Speaker 1>I said at the beginning, what this also tells me,
<v Speaker 1>and there's just my take on this, is that if
<v Speaker 1>we were going to get a championship changing hands and
<v Speaker 1>money in the bank, and it was going to go
<v Speaker 1>to La Night, as many of you I know would
<v Speaker 1>love to see and I would love to see it too,
<v Speaker 1>I just don't think it will. I think that the
<v Speaker 1>way they may have wanted to do it would have
<v Speaker 1>been to have Solo stay in the Bloodline for a
<v Speaker 1>couple of months, you know, and be a good soldier
<v Speaker 1>and be with his family, and then when it was
<v Speaker 1>time for him to kind of nut up or shut
<v Speaker 1>up and help out Roman, that's when he spikes Roman
<v Speaker 1>and he helps La Knight win the championship. And they
<v Speaker 1>didn't do that, they gave us the spike tonight. I
<v Speaker 1>just think it makes it that much less likely that
<v Speaker 1>we get that big moment with Knight, assuming that match
<v Speaker 1>happens and money in the bank. And again I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying that they're instead setting up Solo to kind of
<v Speaker 1>turn heel on Night and cost him the title. At
<v Speaker 1>least I fucking hope not. I'm not saying that, but
<v Speaker 1>had he joined the Bloodline and was going to be
<v Speaker 1>there for a while, I might have started to buy
<v Speaker 1>into some of the hype about Night possibly winning the belt.
<v Speaker 1>Now I just feel the same way I've always felt
<v Speaker 1>about it. But I liked that the Bloodline was more
<v Speaker 1>overtly heel. Hopefully they'll keep that going. This was a
<v Speaker 1>very strong episode. Again, it was more in the line
<v Speaker 1>with the one we got coming out of Summer Slim
<v Speaker 1>more so than whatever the hell we got last week.
<v Speaker 1>We got the big solo swerve at the end, the
<v Speaker 1>big angle, great icy title match, some other good wrestling matches,
<v Speaker 1>and we have a big match confirmed for sunday Nights
<v Speaker 1>main event. I'm gonna get Obafemi and bron Breaker, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad we're doing it instead of dragging things out
<v Speaker 1>and doing all the matches on you know, like a
<v Speaker 1>bigger show like a WrestleMania or something like. Let's get
<v Speaker 1>to some of this now. No need to wait around
<v Speaker 1>on this stuff. Let's get to some of this shit now.
<v Speaker 1>Punch says, I see a three on three match, Jacob
<v Speaker 1>joins solo in l A Knight. Are you talking about
<v Speaker 1>war games? What? Three on three are you talking about?
<v Speaker 1>Jacob could cause Roman the title or cost him you mean, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that's that's what I'm talking about. That's the idea.
<v Speaker 1>You could do it that way. You don't have to, though.
<v Speaker 1>You could have Roman just lose and maybe that very
<v Speaker 1>next raw he gets booted out. What was it like
<v Speaker 1>all those years ago? Was it was the Rock? When
<v Speaker 1>did the Rock get booted out of the corporation? Was
<v Speaker 1>not after WRESTLEMANI he was after backlash? I think, right,
<v Speaker 1>So you can have him lose and then on the
<v Speaker 1>very next show Jacob leads sort of a revolt against
<v Speaker 1>Roman and they put a beatdown on him. There's your
<v Speaker 1>excuse for Roman disappearing for a few months, so it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have to be a situation where Jacob costs him
<v Speaker 1>the belt. Waiting until Mania for Roman to drop the
<v Speaker 1>belt is ridiculous. Really, you don't know the way WWE operates,
<v Speaker 1>don't you. You don't think they won't want Roman at
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania next year, especially if they're not getting Rock Brock
<v Speaker 1>is supposedly retired, right, all these big names they're probably
<v Speaker 1>not going to be able to have access to for
<v Speaker 1>that show. You'd think you're going to get a WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>without Roman Reigns Goodbo. Now, if he's not defending the
<v Speaker 1>championship on that show, realistically, what else would he be
<v Speaker 1>doing at WrestleMania next year? Wrestling Jacob maybe, but he's
<v Speaker 1>probably defending the title against Alba. Come on, now, I
<v Speaker 1>need an Oula Falla for these streams. They do sell them,
<v Speaker 1>don't they. How much are they going for? Probably too much? Anywait,
<v Speaker 1>let's get to your super chats here, let's get into
<v Speaker 1>your messages. See what you thought of for all tonight.
<v Speaker 1>I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it wrestling brock Lesnar again
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania as they both come out of retirement. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>how about we don't do that quizzical one. What do
<v Speaker 1>you call a religious pile of hay Christian Bale? I
<v Speaker 1>like that. I've heard worse the Sheltered Kid, because I
<v Speaker 1>was a kid around twenty fourteen. How good or bed
<v Speaker 1>was the authority? It was, for the most part very bad.
<v Speaker 1>The best part of the authority was playing foil for
<v Speaker 1>Daniel Brian for him to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
<v Speaker 1>That aspect of the authority worked very well, But a
<v Speaker 1>lot of the other shit the authority did, and again
<v Speaker 1>sticking around for too long, it did not make for
<v Speaker 1>great TV. Outside of the Brian stuff, it did not
<v Speaker 1>make for good TV. Also, side question, are Kurt and
<v Speaker 1>Brett tied for the best? If so, who is better
<v Speaker 1>and why? It's all subjective. It's all subjective For me.
<v Speaker 1>Brett is the guy. His matches have more replay value
<v Speaker 1>for me than most, including Kurt. Kurt's had great matches,
<v Speaker 1>but I hold Brett in a higher regard. You can't
<v Speaker 1>go wrong picking either one of them though. Also is
<v Speaker 1>the McMahon family being replaced by the Anawaii's no dry chicken?
<v Speaker 1>Says Opa Femi against bron Breaker Femi beats Braun. Sorry,
<v Speaker 1>the Bloodline are the nWo more family members keep coming
<v Speaker 1>to WWE? Well, the Bloodline has a waye to go
<v Speaker 1>if they want to catch up to the nWo in
<v Speaker 1>terms of members. We're not quite there yet. We may
<v Speaker 1>get there, We're not there yet. Super Pony with a
<v Speaker 1>nine ninety nine. I thought Raw was excellent tonight. The
<v Speaker 1>wrestling was awesome. I love the closing segment the ring
<v Speaker 1>Gable match was fucking awesome. Yeah, that match was quite great.
<v Speaker 1>GMB says, outside of Rocks, Judgment Day equals Channel Changers. Unfortunately,
<v Speaker 1>you are correct, the Judgment Day jumped the Shark a
<v Speaker 1>long time ago. Long time ago. Nick Grosso rip Hayden Panitaire.
<v Speaker 1>Thirty six is too young to leave this world. Also,
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad that Solo didn't fall in line. And it
<v Speaker 1>looks like Jacob is leaving the Bloodline soon. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know about that. They're teasing it. That doesn't mean he's
<v Speaker 1>leaving soon, though. I wouldn't get my hopes up on that.
<v Speaker 1>The way they love to drag shit out. You know
<v Speaker 1>how many times I've been fooled on that. We just
<v Speaker 1>talked about the Judgment Day. You have many teases we
<v Speaker 1>had for like Balor and Dom and like how fucking
<v Speaker 1>long they dragged that nonsense out for. I don't assume
<v Speaker 1>anything when it comes to that. Abystle zones La Night
<v Speaker 1>is so over that both Cody and Roman have been
<v Speaker 1>booed against him this year, it seems like a pretty
<v Speaker 1>good reason to put a world title on him. To me,
<v Speaker 1>you should be booking the show. I don't know. I
<v Speaker 1>mean there are multiple times in La Night promos where
<v Speaker 1>he's brought up Roman and in like a negative way
<v Speaker 1>and they boo La Knight. So there's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>Roman fans out there who will boo La Night when
<v Speaker 1>he's talking shit about Roman reigns. Jason tar a one
<v Speaker 1>hundred dollars bomb? Was that? Wait a minute? Was that
<v Speaker 1>was that j Man from earlier? I think it might
<v Speaker 1>be Jason, thank you brother for that bomb. I think
<v Speaker 1>that might have been the first one that we talked
<v Speaker 1>about earlier, unless that was another one that came. But
<v Speaker 1>I'm no, I'm pretty that might have been a different one. Hey, Jason,
<v Speaker 1>thank you man. Some be airhorn love there. I appreciate that.
<v Speaker 1>Solid raw. Tonight, Chad Gable and Ray Mysterio was a
<v Speaker 1>great match. It's the best match on the show. Ray
<v Speaker 1>every time Man, he turns back the hands of time,
<v Speaker 1>turns back the clock. I don't know how he does it,
<v Speaker 1>but he finds a way. Velvet Floor eighteen. How excited
<v Speaker 1>is Rakishi right now? I think Rikishi is probably at peace.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think he's throwing furniture. You know, sometimes he
<v Speaker 1>gets very aggravated over certain things that happen on TV,
<v Speaker 1>but he has no reason to be aggravated right now.
<v Speaker 1>He should be very happy. Saint James Entertainment swap the
<v Speaker 1>solo swerve for Jacob turning at Money in the Bank. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I would love to see it. I just don't know
<v Speaker 1>if they're ready to do it just yet. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if they're ready to pull that trigger just yet.
<v Speaker 1>Bossmo Jackson raw was two thumbs up. Show Yes it was,
<v Speaker 1>Saint James. Did you see the two time Wiener gobbler
<v Speaker 1>behind Roman? What come again? I don't know what you're
<v Speaker 1>talking about. I did not. I was not looking for that,
<v Speaker 1>nor did I see that or else. I certainly would
<v Speaker 1>have mentioned that during the review. The Shawnathan says, I
<v Speaker 1>pray Creative doesn't do this, but I could see solo
<v Speaker 1>costing La Knight the title at Money in the Bank. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>I could see them doing that too. It'd be like, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>we got an even better swerve that we can save
<v Speaker 1>for the fucking pay per view spray Ja with a
<v Speaker 1>fifteen dollars super chet. I need a solo in La
<v Speaker 1>Vignette taking Roman's yacht for a joy ride, a La
<v Speaker 1>Stepbrothers style stat Yeah, I mean the good the good
<v Speaker 1>news about keeping the two of them, mister Delish says, enough,
<v Speaker 1>the good thing about keeping the two of them as
<v Speaker 1>friends is that there is a lot of potential to
<v Speaker 1>some real comedy, like backstage comedy. I mean, you don't
<v Speaker 1>want to go too overboard with it, but I hope
<v Speaker 1>they tap into that. Aaron nine. We read Aaron's message earlier.
<v Speaker 1>He was at the show tonight. Aaron, thank you for
<v Speaker 1>the love, brother. I haven't heard from Aaron in a while.
<v Speaker 1>Good to see you brother. Fucking awesome. What are we
<v Speaker 1>seven out of ten? On the goal? Yeah, the way
<v Speaker 1>the wheel landed for the be the Booker stuff, it's
<v Speaker 1>the likes have been disregarded in favor of the bonus call.
<v Speaker 1>That's what we landed on. So we're going based on that.
<v Speaker 1>We're seven out of ten right now on that we're
<v Speaker 1>almost there. We're climbing. We're not quite there yet. EJ.
<v Speaker 1>Slamp with a four ninety nine Mets fan, White Sox fan,
<v Speaker 1>asking can we get a fuck Pete Crow Armstrong? Fuck
<v Speaker 1>Pete Crow Armstrong. Cubs traded a prick Hobby Bayez for
<v Speaker 1>another prick PCA more arrogant than Utley. I think it
<v Speaker 1>would be very difficult to be more arrogant than Chase Utley.
<v Speaker 1>My favorite sign ever at a baseball game was actually
<v Speaker 1>outside the stadium. It was many years ago. It was
<v Speaker 1>a pre show or post show panel with Gary Keith
<v Speaker 1>and Ron outside the stadium and there was a fan
<v Speaker 1>standing behind them. I still have it on my phone.
<v Speaker 1>There's a fan standing behind them with a giant sign
<v Speaker 1>that says Chase Utlely deserves the electric chair and I
<v Speaker 1>endorse that. Thank you. Eja. Nick Grosso the nine ninety
<v Speaker 1>nine says, maybe instead of Solo spiking Roman, maybe Jacob
<v Speaker 1>screws Roman at Money in the Bank. I just hope
<v Speaker 1>they don't have Solo betray Knight and help Roman win.
<v Speaker 1>That would be terrible, Yes, but Nick, it's what we do.
<v Speaker 1>It's what we do, Nick. We tell stories, We swerve people,
<v Speaker 1>We zig when you think we're gonna zag. It's what
<v Speaker 1>we do. Yeah, that would be pretty terrible. Prince Vegeta says,
<v Speaker 1>what a quote unquote babyface Roman is telling fans to
<v Speaker 1>acknowledge him, bragging about how good his life is, feuding
<v Speaker 1>with popular babyfaces, breaking people's proper. Yeah, he stomped on
<v Speaker 1>his sunglasses. What a babyface? Else, I says. This is
<v Speaker 1>Lyra's first match on TV in almost a month since
<v Speaker 1>she got that huge way in over the legendary Bailey.
<v Speaker 1>Wwe really knows how to keep momentum going. Oh, sure
<v Speaker 1>they do. They're so great at it, aren't they. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Duff's VID's with a nineteen ninety nine. Haven't been around
<v Speaker 1>to know if this has been brought up. But why
<v Speaker 1>is it that Michael Cole keeps stop saying a sentence random? Okay,
<v Speaker 1>So I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this.
<v Speaker 1>So I've noticed this has become a real issue since
<v Speaker 1>they went to Netflix. They will be coming back from
<v Speaker 1>a commercial break, for example, and Michael Cole will begin
<v Speaker 1>to do you a plug, right, He's gonna promote something,
<v Speaker 1>and then the audio just cuts out and I hear
<v Speaker 1>the raw music playing and they're just showing the crowd
<v Speaker 1>and like five or ten seconds go by of nothing, nothing.
<v Speaker 1>So something is going on where I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>it's I don't know, I don't know if it's for
<v Speaker 1>certain feeds they're cutting the audio. It's very weird, and yes,
<v Speaker 1>it happens on SmackDown too. Okay, yeah, that's true, it's
<v Speaker 1>not just raw. I don't know why that happens. That
<v Speaker 1>never happened before, That never used to happen. Now, it's
<v Speaker 1>like I know that they would normally, like I could
<v Speaker 1>hear in my head Cole doing a plug, but like
<v Speaker 1>the audio gets cut, we just hear the raw music
<v Speaker 1>and then they just go on to whatever the next
<v Speaker 1>segment is ten seconds later. I don't know. I don't
<v Speaker 1>have a good answer for you. Dan Housen cursed the audio.
<v Speaker 1>This pre dates Dan Housen. This has been going on
<v Speaker 1>for a lot longer than that. Bes Verus Judgment Day
<v Speaker 1>could use Big Casts, And you know, I hate to
<v Speaker 1>say it, but I think you're probably right. I see
<v Speaker 1>at this point, I would rather they just kill the
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day dead. But honestly, if you want to keep
<v Speaker 1>the Judgment Day around, they need some new blood, and
<v Speaker 1>I think that could benefit Big Cast, especially if they
<v Speaker 1>use it in such a way that they can develop
<v Speaker 1>his personalities character a little bit more in some backstage segments.
<v Speaker 1>Because I mean, right now, it's fine, he just came back.
<v Speaker 1>He's going to randomly show up and kill dudes. Okay, cool,
<v Speaker 1>But after a while, you're going to have to do
<v Speaker 1>more than that, you know, flesh out that character a
<v Speaker 1>little bit. That's one thing the Judgment Day was always
<v Speaker 1>good for. What would JD McDonough be doing if it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't for the Judgment Day, Like, honestly, would he even
<v Speaker 1>be on TV? The Judgment Day was demonstrably beneficial for
<v Speaker 1>certain people. Over the years. They have gotten incredibly lazy.
<v Speaker 1>They have not added any new members recently, and they
<v Speaker 1>keep doing the same old shit with the existing members.
<v Speaker 1>They're down to two guys, three girls, And what exactly
<v Speaker 1>is the purpose of the Judgment Day? What exactly does
<v Speaker 1>the Judgment Day really bring to the show at this
<v Speaker 1>point not a whole hell of a lot. So adding
<v Speaker 1>a couple of new members and booting out some other
<v Speaker 1>ones that have overstayed their welcome probably is the way
<v Speaker 1>to go. Presto Changoh bloodline splits in two, the Bloodline
<v Speaker 1>and the gas Line. MGM balling with a nine ninety
<v Speaker 1>nine needed a cold shower after seeing Stephanie in the
<v Speaker 1>opening segment. But in all seriousness, Live has become get
<v Speaker 1>off my TV cringe and I was a big fan
<v Speaker 1>at one point. Give me Jacob turning on Roman and
<v Speaker 1>La winning MGM. I think, boy, you're you're asking an
<v Speaker 1>awful lot of this creative team. I think you may
<v Speaker 1>be setting yourself up for some big disappointment. Brother, temper
<v Speaker 1>those expectations. I'm just saying, just bring it down just
<v Speaker 1>a little bit. I'm with you, but you gotta temper
<v Speaker 1>those expectations. And RD Beats with a twenty. Hey, it's
<v Speaker 1>our d Beats, It's Dylan. Everybody just want to say
<v Speaker 1>I won my dog collar match? All right? How about that?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if you lost the dog collar match, you
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't be able to hang around here anymore where you
<v Speaker 1>have to hang your head in shame. It was my
<v Speaker 1>first time. Oh you got color? Okay, this first time
<v Speaker 1>getting color, even though I didn't bleed as much as
<v Speaker 1>my opponent, and I ended up cutting a great tear
<v Speaker 1>in my with a wait, cutting a great tear in
<v Speaker 1>my eye like promo afterwards. Well, if that's on video,
<v Speaker 1>you'll have to tweet me or share it with me.
<v Speaker 1>It's Rick Flair esque promo. Well, congrats on the big win.
<v Speaker 1>You know, Dylan's been keeping us updated periodically on his career,
<v Speaker 1>how things are progressing. I love getting these updates and
<v Speaker 1>last but not least here Barry MK with a five
<v Speaker 1>MS and kit going back to normal without being explained
<v Speaker 1>last week, and their story with Dan Housen just ended.
<v Speaker 1>Is so lazy they don't even try anymore. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but let's be honest, like, who gives a shit about
<v Speaker 1>that story? That story was garbage. Yeah, we never got
<v Speaker 1>to payoff to what was under the sheet either. It
<v Speaker 1>was probably gonna be Baron Corbin. And then they came
<v Speaker 1>to their senses and said, hey, maybe we should debut
<v Speaker 1>him a little more seriously, and now he's the United
<v Speaker 1>States champion. Guarantee you that that's how they were going
<v Speaker 1>to bring him back. And then there was a creative
<v Speaker 1>shift and then the body under the white sheet and
<v Speaker 1>the laboratory story just went away. I don't think it's
<v Speaker 1>been mentioned or teased in like two months. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>it's lazy, of course it is, But like in this case,
<v Speaker 1>who cares. I'd like to pretend that none of that
<v Speaker 1>even happened. I think that's probably the way to go.
<v Speaker 1>But solo who attacked Jacob Fatu, Well, if you ask
<v Speaker 1>all these people, it was Drew Magensar because he said
<v Speaker 1>so Yeah, another aborted storyline. EJ. Slamp I said it
<v Speaker 1>because the Cubs literally traded arrogant Hobby Baias to the
<v Speaker 1>Mets for arrogant PCA NL MVP front runner and Babe
<v Speaker 1>Ruth existed. Denier fuck PCA. You know, at first when
<v Speaker 1>you said that before I read that, For some reason,
<v Speaker 1>I've read that as PCO, Like, what did PCO do
<v Speaker 1>that was so wrong? PCO is awesome? And Devin, what's
<v Speaker 1>the four to one one on the Sena tournament? These days?
<v Speaker 1>I don't even think they know. They're literally trying to
<v Speaker 1>figure it out on the fly. They do not have
<v Speaker 1>all the details worked out. I feel like WWE just
<v Speaker 1>kind of sucks at doing stables lately. With that being said,
<v Speaker 1>what are some of your favorite stables? I mean, the
<v Speaker 1>og nWo is kind of hard to talk given all
<v Speaker 1>the success and influence they had, the Heart Foundation, the
<v Speaker 1>Heenan family. I'm not ranking them, by the way, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just kind of the ones that I enjoyed. I'm just
<v Speaker 1>kind of naming them. Obviously. The Four Horsemen. As far
<v Speaker 1>as which like version of the Horsemen, probably of the bunch,
<v Speaker 1>I would go with the one that had Barry wind
<v Speaker 1>A minute. It's like the best version of the Horsemen.
<v Speaker 1>The Shield Shield is one of the greatest factions in
<v Speaker 1>the history of that company. So yeah, it's a whole
<v Speaker 1>bunch right there for you to chew on. Neckro says
<v Speaker 1>Raven's Flock in ECW. We'ren't a fan of Raven's Flock
<v Speaker 1>in WCW with Sick Boy and Kidman Nation of Domination,
<v Speaker 1>that is sick theme. Prince Begeta says saw Obsession. Bear
<v Speaker 1>is the true heel. There's full videos on YouTube about
<v Speaker 1>like the moment that people realized. It's fascinating to see
<v Speaker 1>their reactions. They are actually content creators. And like with
<v Speaker 1>channels and the hundreds of thousands of subscribers that have
<v Speaker 1>been canceled by people because they didn't pick up on
<v Speaker 1>what was going on with Bear, or they laughed through it,
<v Speaker 1>or they just kind of made light of it, there
<v Speaker 1>are people wanting to cancel them for it. Ken Ryan,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the dollar ninety nine. My friend appreciate it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>the different reactions that people have had to to the
<v Speaker 1>movie have been very interesting to see. It certainly ignited
<v Speaker 1>a great debate about a lot of different things. All Right, Well,
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate all the support and we have well, we
<v Speaker 1>actually hit five oh seven on the likes. It's too
<v Speaker 1>bad we didn't have an actual likes goal tonight. We
<v Speaker 1>would have smashed it, but the Wheel did wheel things again.
<v Speaker 1>Here's the wheel. It said bonus goal only, so we
<v Speaker 1>have to go buy what the Wheel says. Tomorrow is
<v Speaker 1>going to be a brand new episode of The Uncrowned
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling Show that'll be going up a little bit later
<v Speaker 1>on in the day. And I've got some more mailbag
<v Speaker 1>questions that you guys have sent in, so we'll get
<v Speaker 1>to some of your Q and A on tomorrow's episode
<v Speaker 1>as well. And then tomorrow night I'll be live with
<v Speaker 1>jd Over on his channel for a brand new Tuesday
<v Speaker 1>Night Titans. And then Wednesday we have the Dynamite post show.
<v Speaker 1>Friday's a big SmackDown because we have the WWE Championship
<v Speaker 1>on the line. See I'm Punk defending against Kevin Owens
<v Speaker 1>in Toronto. I'm sure Sammy Zain will be lurking. Oh
<v Speaker 1>I forgot to mention Raw next week. Just a little
<v Speaker 1>programming note. They're in Ottawa, Raw airing earlier than usual
<v Speaker 1>early start time six pm Eastern. I believe they're taping
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown that night, which is why they're doing that. So
<v Speaker 1>six pm Raw, I'm probably gonna watch it live and
<v Speaker 1>go live right after. So the stream next week probably
<v Speaker 1>going to be a couple of hours earlier, maybe around nine,
<v Speaker 1>So just be aware of that. I'll remind you guys
<v Speaker 1>on the sound off this weekend. But yeah, they kind
<v Speaker 1>of they kind of threw that in there in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of the show, like, oh, by the way, 'raw
<v Speaker 1>next week, six o'clock in the evening. Okay, oh look
<v Speaker 1>at this, you sons of bitches. Look at this. Look
<v Speaker 1>at this. I was on my way out. The rabbit
<v Speaker 1>has joined. The rabbit has hopped on in at just
<v Speaker 1>the right time. Z Ray and MGM ballin. Bonus, be
<v Speaker 1>the booker, baby. They got us to the goal ten
<v Speaker 1>out of ten. Look at that. I was. I was
<v Speaker 1>on my way out. The fucking headphones were coming out,
<v Speaker 1>and then you guys came in in the clutch not
<v Speaker 1>so fast solo. Yeah, well how about that. It is
<v Speaker 1>time It is time to be the booker. Here we go,
<v Speaker 1>ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>I've always got to come in there. At the very
<v Speaker 1>last minute. Always look at that. Amazing it's all the
<v Speaker 1>wheels fault. Yeah, we have our overrun here. This is
<v Speaker 1>my best Tony conn impression. Here. I promise you I
<v Speaker 1>won't go thirty five minutes in my overrun A link master,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the two bucks. And you guys are
<v Speaker 1>killing it tonight. Well, I at least owe you all
<v Speaker 1>good be the booker. Well, it's not what I had
<v Speaker 1>in mind. We have Al Snow and Steve Blackman, we
<v Speaker 1>have head Cheese, we have a giant block of cheese,
<v Speaker 1>and we have a Manneqan. This right here is a
<v Speaker 1>very ridiculous image that sums up a moment in time,
<v Speaker 1>an era, an era of the past in WWE that
<v Speaker 1>was actually very entertaining. I do miss it. And head
<v Speaker 1>Cheese is going to be taking on the judgment day
<v Speaker 1>Finn Balor and JD McDonough. Wow with Steve Blackman in
<v Speaker 1>the ring the lethal weapon, the lethal weapon going to
<v Speaker 1>be bringing those sticks. I forgot what he calls those sticks.
<v Speaker 1>But are they Kendo sticks? Are they some other special
<v Speaker 1>kind of stick? They're not as big as the Kendo sticks.
<v Speaker 1>Sola monsters Encore. Yeah, we're running it back. This is
<v Speaker 1>our version of running it back here on the stream. Uh,
<v Speaker 1>women's be the booker where they can. Okay, small kendo sticks,
<v Speaker 1>I guess we have Chelsea Green. Look at this woman
<v Speaker 1>draped in gold here in this image. She used to
<v Speaker 1>be the United States champion. She had the Triple A
<v Speaker 1>mixtag teams. What is that other title? Is that the
<v Speaker 1>women's North American title? Did she really have all three? Oh? Wait, no,
<v Speaker 1>maybe that's Ethan holding up. Okay, I can't see whose
<v Speaker 1>hand that is. I think that's Ethan. That's what that is.
<v Speaker 1>That's right, because he put the Canadian backing on the
<v Speaker 1>North American title. Okay, and now look at Chelsea. Now
<v Speaker 1>she's the WWE Women's Champion. Well, let's find out she
<v Speaker 1>needs an opponent. Let's find out who it is. Chelsea
<v Speaker 1>Green and Kyrie Saye. Still waiting to find out where
<v Speaker 1>Kyrie is gonna plant her flag. It's gonna lie. She's
<v Speaker 1>gotten a lot of offers. I'm sure she has. She's
<v Speaker 1>gotten offers from every serious promoter out there. I'm sure.
<v Speaker 1>And our final round, our main event of the evening,
<v Speaker 1>Ray Phoenix, we saw him on the show tonight. With
<v Speaker 1>any luck he'll be in the finals of this tournament.
<v Speaker 1>There's somebody else and be the booker who hopefully he'll
<v Speaker 1>be wrestling in the finals. Wouldn't it be something if
<v Speaker 1>we were to land on him, that would be something,
<v Speaker 1>And it's not. But it is Bad Bunny, you know what.
<v Speaker 1>Bad Bunny and Ray Phoenix. Fuck it. That's clean sweet
<v Speaker 1>right there. Think about the match that he had with
<v Speaker 1>Damian Priest. I think a match between Bad Bunny and
<v Speaker 1>Ray Phoenix could be everybody's good Bad Bunny. He won
<v Speaker 1>some points with me for that match that he had
<v Speaker 1>with Damian Priest. Well, look, if we were only going
<v Speaker 1>to do one round of this shit, at least we
<v Speaker 1>got a clean sweep out of it. That's that's what
<v Speaker 1>you want to see. That's right. Why not? Why not?
<v Speaker 1>Why not? H We got Cam want to send a
<v Speaker 1>birthday shout out to my girl Ellie, who's been watching
<v Speaker 1>your lives as well. Pretty cool having a lady who
<v Speaker 1>will watch wrestling and anime with you. That's what you
<v Speaker 1>call a keeper, Cam, So shout out to you and
<v Speaker 1>shout out to Ellie. That's awesome also, he says, and
<v Speaker 1>the Libido of nineteen ninety nine May Young my kid.
<v Speaker 1>Happy birthday, Ellie Solo. Your birthday is coming soon. I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't sure when I first started reading that second super chat,
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't sure what that was referring to. It's a
<v Speaker 1>good thing you put the laughing emoji in there. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>Happy birthday to Ellie, hopefully she is watching and link
<v Speaker 1>Master ri p. Hayden Panetaire. Yes, we mentioned that earlier.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's everything. Now I believe that's all of it.
<v Speaker 1>Gotta let you see you gotta love those last minute sweeps, man,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta love those last minute sweeps. Those are the
<v Speaker 1>best I'll see for the Dynamite Stream and Uncrowned tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>Have a good night, guys,
