<v Speaker 1>Jaredy, Katy, and Josh. I was just talking to these
<v Speaker 1>two clowns across from me about our little event that
<v Speaker 1>we had yesterday. We are owned by Kronky Sports. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>so our all staff meetings are actually down at Ball Arena, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>which is pretty darn neat, you know. I was talking
<v Speaker 1>to one of our sales guys as we were walking
<v Speaker 1>in and I was like, this is wild that this
<v Speaker 1>is where our meetings are. He's like, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>it's It's kind of cool, isn't it Because we get
<v Speaker 1>to be there when the stadium is completely empty. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and we're just walking around and hanging out.
<v Speaker 1>We're up on club level. You feel all fancy and
<v Speaker 1>we have our meetings and they gave us pizza and salad,
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, it is kind of special.
<v Speaker 2>It is, and my I love going in there and
<v Speaker 2>seeing all the co workers we've never met.
<v Speaker 1>Enjoy conjuring. Talked to a couple of dudes at the
<v Speaker 1>urinal in the club level bathroom.
<v Speaker 3>You really get to know people exactly.
<v Speaker 1>That being said, the meeting was roughly four and a
<v Speaker 1>half hours long when it ended. You specifically, Katie this
<v Speaker 1>morning was saying, I was so impressed about how you
<v Speaker 1>just disappeared.
<v Speaker 4>Jerry.
<v Speaker 3>You got it there so quick.
<v Speaker 2>I mean you may have just jumped off that club
<v Speaker 2>level window.
<v Speaker 3>I don't even think you took the stairs.
<v Speaker 1>Left it up and I was ready. I was like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm like a runner at the beginning of the race.
<v Speaker 1>I had the foot things, you know, where you locked
<v Speaker 1>your feet into it. Every body dykes for comment and
<v Speaker 1>everybody clapped, and I was like.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, before clapp three, you were gone like the of
<v Speaker 2>an eye.
<v Speaker 1>It was like a cartoon when like they disappear as
<v Speaker 1>the little Puffy's the roadrunner. Yeah. I zipped out of
<v Speaker 1>there like super quick.
<v Speaker 2>It was funny because I wanted to introduce you to
<v Speaker 2>one of my friends I know from Ballerino. I know that,
<v Speaker 2>and I introduced Josh and I was just like, did
<v Speaker 2>Jeremy already leave me?
<v Speaker 3>Josh was like, are you kidding? Of course he didn't
<v Speaker 3>turn your.
<v Speaker 1>Right and this is Jah. Yeah. I zipped out pretty quick.
<v Speaker 1>I mean I had been up since two thirty that
<v Speaker 1>morning too, So if anyone ever gets in my kitchen,
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, you know what, I'm gonna start calling you
<v Speaker 1>when I get up at two thirty in the morning.
<v Speaker 3>God bless his heart, because I love our engineers so much.
<v Speaker 2>I do.
<v Speaker 3>I love him.
<v Speaker 2>He is like one of the funniest guys in man,
<v Speaker 2>and he's so sweet and I just adore him so much.
<v Speaker 2>But he clearly had something in his throat and he
<v Speaker 2>was sitting right next to you, and you are the
<v Speaker 2>biggest germophobe and him coughing entire your.
<v Speaker 1>Back and he's trying to, you know, muffle it and
<v Speaker 1>hide it. And I can feel the warm air on.
<v Speaker 2>You and him, so I could see your face and
<v Speaker 2>then Jason behind you.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and so I saw him. I saw your face.
<v Speaker 2>Every time he coughed, you flinched in a way where
<v Speaker 2>you're like, oh.
<v Speaker 1>Make it stop, Oh, make it stop. You're the COVID
<v Speaker 1>from this guy. Well, and not to mention, they have
<v Speaker 1>an ice cream freezer there where you go up and
<v Speaker 1>get ice cream and stuff. That guy went up to
<v Speaker 1>the ice cream freezer like nine times and the entire
<v Speaker 1>time was behind me. And then.
<v Speaker 3>It was a milky flem.
<v Speaker 1>He had like a frozen butterfinger the whole time. Get
<v Speaker 1>like four of them. Plan Anyway, that's kind of funny
<v Speaker 1>to me. These geese are dying off can't they anyway?
<v Speaker 1>That's not those poor geese Okay, And then I got
<v Speaker 1>one final thing for it. There's a post that's gone
<v Speaker 1>viral right now because we all need water bottles when
<v Speaker 1>we're working out and stuff, right yeah, when we're working
<v Speaker 1>on our fitness, unless you're a lady, which just you
<v Speaker 1>get those water bottles just for an access three to
<v Speaker 1>walk around with. The post is talking about that. Basically
<v Speaker 1>every few years, water bottle brands have a hold over women.
<v Speaker 1>They latch onto ladies because of trendy water bottles. It
<v Speaker 1>becomes just a part of your personality. And then it
<v Speaker 1>started breaking things down by day, like you know, in
<v Speaker 1>the two thousands, it was the Nalgen in the early
<v Speaker 1>two thousands, the camelbacks from like twenty ten to twenty sixteen,
<v Speaker 1>the s Well or swell ones we're twenty sixteen to nineteen.
<v Speaker 1>Then the hydro flax flasks, it the Yetties, the simply
<v Speaker 1>moderns Stanley from twenty twenty two to twenty four. All
<v Speaker 1>the ladies had the Stanley's. Yeah, and now it's the
<v Speaker 1>o Wala water bottles. They are so trendy all the
<v Speaker 1>ladies have them. The water bottle companies just have to
<v Speaker 1>be rubbing their hands together every year because.
<v Speaker 2>They're spending it's like thirty dollars at the least. Oh ye, water,
<v Speaker 2>many of them six or seven, so you can have
<v Speaker 2>one for every.
<v Speaker 1>Day of the week six seven.
<v Speaker 3>That's like three hundred and.
<v Speaker 2>Fifty bucks right there on the lower end of water bottles.
<v Speaker 3>And they are raking in the cash.
<v Speaker 1>They are profits are skyrocking English year. At o'walla, the
<v Speaker 1>lady is love my water judge. I'm kind of in
<v Speaker 1>camp water bottle right now. I carry one with me
<v Speaker 1>all the time. Now. I don't know why. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what's happened.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how we made it through the whole
<v Speaker 2>nineties without water, but I know the entire time.
<v Speaker 1>I peace so much. I like drinking water. I like
<v Speaker 1>staying hydrated. But the amount of times I urinate good
<v Speaker 1>for your kidneys, I guess, unless you're up nine times
<v Speaker 1>a night urinating. But is it a steady stream? Like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's a solid stream. I'll show you if you want.
<v Speaker 1>We can go in there right now. I want to
<v Speaker 1>see it. I'll blow a hole right in the back
<v Speaker 1>of that urine. It's a powerful stream. Still no problem,
<v Speaker 1>but like be a problem though, no extreme. If we
<v Speaker 1>had a stream competition, I can stand probably down at
<v Speaker 1>the end of the hallway and hit the front doors.
<v Speaker 3>Keep you and Josh do that. Actually, it's a little
<v Speaker 3>harder for me.
<v Speaker 1>To have a dream. You should see me write my
<v Speaker 1>name in the snow. I can do it from like
<v Speaker 1>forty feet away. That's the whole front yard a solid stream.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, sorry, ladies, I'm taking anything else, Josh. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>So we've talked multiple times about how many different trading
<v Speaker 5>cards this year of broken world records. For the prices
<v Speaker 5>that they're going, I think it's kind of getting over
<v Speaker 5>the top.
<v Speaker 6>Now.
<v Speaker 5>Steph Curry is famous for hitting a night night shot
<v Speaker 5>and it's one of those where he puts his hands
<v Speaker 5>together and acts like he's sleeping because he just hit
<v Speaker 5>the game winning shot of the to end the game.
<v Speaker 5>And the most famous one actually is one that he
<v Speaker 5>did against the Denver Nuggets. So we don't want to
<v Speaker 5>talk about that one.
<v Speaker 1>But there is a TOPS card.
<v Speaker 5>It's the TOPS Chrome Update card that just sold for
<v Speaker 5>thirty thousand dollars. Now that's not record breaking, but it
<v Speaker 5>is going viral because it is a minion that is
<v Speaker 5>dressed like Steph Curry. Now it's just over the top.
<v Speaker 5>Why are we selling minion cards for thirty?
<v Speaker 3>It's so cute.
<v Speaker 5>This minion just looks like Steph Curry hitting the Night
<v Speaker 5>Night pose. What are we doing here?
<v Speaker 3>I want that card.
<v Speaker 1>Something to tell your toddlers. Cameburd what's blowing up?
<v Speaker 2>We've got receipts, We've got drummer, We've got Denver talking.
<v Speaker 1>It's the mile High High with the.
<v Speaker 3>JKJ legends and icons on Mix one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it is time to get into all the big
<v Speaker 1>news of the day is brought to you by Mountain
<v Speaker 1>High Appliances, where you get amazing savings throughout all their showrooms.
<v Speaker 1>Whether you're replacing one appliance or remodeling an entire kitchen,
<v Speaker 1>all you have to do is go to Mountain High
<v Speaker 1>Appliance dot com. Today is one of my most favorite
<v Speaker 1>days because I get to You're right over the day.
<v Speaker 1>It sounds like you stepped in some gum or something.
<v Speaker 1>Gum day, No, I get to play this.
<v Speaker 6>I want bacon, bacon, bacon.
<v Speaker 1>Today is National Bacon Lover's Day.
<v Speaker 6>I want bacon, bacon, bacon.
<v Speaker 1>I love bacon. Well, people with heart problems general, they
<v Speaker 1>still like it.
<v Speaker 3>They just can't have it. There's the difference.
<v Speaker 1>Go get that turkey bacon today. Don't be an idiot.
<v Speaker 3>Do that make you so sad? On National Bacon Day?
<v Speaker 1>I was looking at a black and white photo this
<v Speaker 1>morning of mister John Stamos. He turned sixty three yesterday
<v Speaker 1>and he continued a birthday tradition where he uh posts
<v Speaker 1>strategically cropped nude photos of his upper half. This is
<v Speaker 1>the third time in four years he has marked his
<v Speaker 1>birthday that way. The post immediately generated tens of thousands
<v Speaker 1>of interactions, with plenty of fans making inappropriate Uncle Jesse jokes.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I was one of them. Did you see mine?
<v Speaker 7>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>He still looks good, for sure. He's still he just
<v Speaker 1>looks good.
<v Speaker 3>He's such a good looking guy.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, face is starting to get you know.
<v Speaker 3>Well, if you see it, you know what he's in
<v Speaker 3>the photo.
<v Speaker 2>He does the young gen Z thing where he puts
<v Speaker 2>the camera in front of his face, so he's got
<v Speaker 2>the phone, you know, strategically playing great hair, amazing that body.
<v Speaker 1>Oh you are right over there, yes, oh stop it.
<v Speaker 1>Oh it's from the show, from this show, all right.
<v Speaker 1>So if you didn't know Meta is being sued for
<v Speaker 1>one point four trillion dollars good by twenty nine US states.
<v Speaker 1>They are alleging that the way that Facebook and Instagram
<v Speaker 1>are operated and they're both hazardous to children's health. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>and I agree, it's.
<v Speaker 3>Hazardous to my health, everybody's health.
<v Speaker 1>So if the states win these lawsuits, there could be
<v Speaker 1>some changes that come to Facebook and the IG one
<v Speaker 1>the death of the infinite scroll and AutoPlay, the features
<v Speaker 1>intended to take you down rabbit holes and maximize screen time,
<v Speaker 1>So an end to that good, No more algorithm manipulation.
<v Speaker 1>This could mean a return to the old chronological way.
<v Speaker 3>That you would do your feed.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you Baby Jesus. You watch one one video on Tacos,
<v Speaker 1>and the next thing you know, the next one hundred
<v Speaker 1>videos are on tacos.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my god, which isn't a bad thing, but still.
<v Speaker 1>One Sydney Sweeney video on your next one hundred videos
<v Speaker 1>are sweets. Hold on, you don't like Wait minute. It
<v Speaker 1>would curb frequent notifications because they're gonna cut down the
<v Speaker 1>excessive push notifications to your kids designed to get you
<v Speaker 1>hooked again. Is they say it's the death of Fensta,
<v Speaker 1>which are fake accounts burner accounts that kids are creating
<v Speaker 1>that your parents can't find. They're going to crack down
<v Speaker 1>on that. And then, my personal favorite, the end of
<v Speaker 1>the like button. One of the main ways teens get
<v Speaker 1>hooked on social media is their addiction to their like count.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, I'm so happy about that. I just
<v Speaker 1>the like button is so annoying to me.
<v Speaker 3>So we're not gonna be able to say we like something.
<v Speaker 2>Now.
<v Speaker 1>You just look at it and in your head go
<v Speaker 1>I like that, and then you move on and then
<v Speaker 1>you're not gonna need to worry about.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my god, I only got seven likes on my post.
<v Speaker 3>Right though, for the kids, they need that, they need to.
<v Speaker 1>We need it too, in this industry and media where
<v Speaker 1>we are forced to post stuff every day and then
<v Speaker 1>we're like, I all got twenty like.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it does hit your ego a little bit, it does.
<v Speaker 1>Sorry, I was focusing on what's going on over the airways,
<v Speaker 1>So sorry are the airwaves? We got ten thousand likes?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah? Yeah. Are they gonna make sure that.
<v Speaker 2>The stuff that we see on Instagram and Facebook is
<v Speaker 2>a little more factual?
<v Speaker 3>Are they gonna do a little better not putting all
<v Speaker 3>the AI stuff up?
<v Speaker 2>There like, because that's what annoys me now is just
<v Speaker 2>like a constant.
<v Speaker 1>You get confusedly, I do it's real or not? I
<v Speaker 1>don't know whether or not I should like this or not?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, well, is the picture of Uncle Jesse real?
<v Speaker 1>I know?
<v Speaker 2>Well, we have to know, we need to know all
<v Speaker 2>those hard hitting facts. You know, we do know about
<v Speaker 2>kids in Colorado. And this is a really good.
<v Speaker 3>Story for everybody.
<v Speaker 2>NAT scores, I've hit a record high here in Colorado
<v Speaker 2>can be math in So math emerged as a bright
<v Speaker 2>spot in the latest standardized test results. So students posted
<v Speaker 2>record stores in the subject where they have historically legged
<v Speaker 2>behind English language arts. So this is really really good news.
<v Speaker 2>And here's the numbers. Last year, thirty five point nine
<v Speaker 2>percent of the kids, yeah, met or exceeded math expectations,
<v Speaker 2>and this year that number went up to thirty seven
<v Speaker 2>point three. That is the fourth consecutive year of an increase.
<v Speaker 1>Can you turn that into a decimal FORMU and AI
<v Speaker 1>we have to be you know what I went and
<v Speaker 1>bought yesterday?
<v Speaker 3>What's up?
<v Speaker 1>I went and had to purchase a TI eighty four calculator.
<v Speaker 1>They're still using the old TI eighty fours.
<v Speaker 3>Are they still like five hundred dollars.
<v Speaker 1>No, they were on sale. It was ninety bucks. Why
<v Speaker 1>I upgraded and got the t I eighty four C.
<v Speaker 1>I think it is because it's got a little color screen. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>because when you do your graphin no, the graphing, I
<v Speaker 1>guess you can do different colors on the graphs. I
<v Speaker 1>guess which is important. But yeah, so I was like, what,
<v Speaker 1>I've got one somewhere. Yeah, from when I was in school.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, well, you hang on to that guy.
<v Speaker 4>I know.
<v Speaker 3>It's like a mortgage payment back is it's.
<v Speaker 1>In a box somewhere. The thing about the new ones
<v Speaker 1>I like that they're rechargeable now, so you just plug
<v Speaker 1>them under your wall and you're recharge them flying through
<v Speaker 1>double A battery that was the.
<v Speaker 3>Worst part piece of equipment.
<v Speaker 1>Then cost you the nine double a's in the back,
<v Speaker 1>and then you sit down to take a test and
<v Speaker 1>they're all dead.
<v Speaker 3>And your batteries go dead.
<v Speaker 1>They're leaking acid.
<v Speaker 3>Oh gosh.
<v Speaker 2>But that is a really good look for Colorado because
<v Speaker 2>I know, with the kiddos and across the nation in general,
<v Speaker 2>map has been a subject where it's been going down.
<v Speaker 2>So the fact that we're starting to see an upswing.
<v Speaker 2>This has parents and teachers pretty excited. Way to go, kids, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>to make everybody proud. All right, this next one, Jeremy,
<v Speaker 2>I know it's about a bear, and I know it's
<v Speaker 2>up in crusted Butte.
<v Speaker 1>So it's a bear sound effects.
<v Speaker 3>But a bear broke into a home encrusted Butte and started.
<v Speaker 1>A like in a fireplace.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah you didn't his cousin Smokey warn him about the
<v Speaker 2>dangers of forest fires.
<v Speaker 1>Nice, come on.
<v Speaker 2>The story's funny because in the headline says that the
<v Speaker 2>bear snuck into the home this week and unintentionally started
<v Speaker 2>a fire?
<v Speaker 3>What as opposed to intentionally?
<v Speaker 5>Like?
<v Speaker 3>I just an arson?
<v Speaker 4>Bear?
<v Speaker 2>Like?
<v Speaker 3>H they worded it the article.
<v Speaker 1>I was just like, oh funny. My parents had a
<v Speaker 1>bear they caught on their ring cam at almost eleven
<v Speaker 1>o'clock at night wandering up and down their driveway. My
<v Speaker 1>mom sent me the video. That was a big boy too.
<v Speaker 1>It was a big bear wandered around in their driveway.
<v Speaker 2>Could you imagine just if you went out to your
<v Speaker 2>car and you saw a bear?
<v Speaker 3>I mean, what would you even do? What you know,
<v Speaker 3>that's what you want to? Oh funny? Okay, So this
<v Speaker 3>story in cress of Youte.
<v Speaker 2>Again, this bear just broke in and started a fire
<v Speaker 2>in the kitchen and thankfully firefighters were able to come
<v Speaker 2>out the fire make sure the bear wasn't in danger.
<v Speaker 3>Nobody got hurt or anything. But this is just one
<v Speaker 3>of many.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I believe in g Really the college you
<v Speaker 2>in Seed, didn't they have a bear shopped campus yesterday?
<v Speaker 1>He backpacking you know, yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 3>He's ready to get at those mad scores too.
<v Speaker 2>We are little berried dada, all right, and then just
<v Speaker 2>one more because Casa Boonita that's coming up soon, right well,
<v Speaker 2>September twenty ninth is when they cut it off, but
<v Speaker 2>or when they started up rather and then it goes
<v Speaker 2>through November first. But because that place is still so
<v Speaker 2>dang busy, you have to get a reservation to take
<v Speaker 2>part in Casa Boonita, so customers are.
<v Speaker 3>Encouraged to work costumes.
<v Speaker 2>You can dress as your favorite cliff diver, action hero
<v Speaker 2>or even a soapopeia if you want.
<v Speaker 1>To get crazy, And can I be a soap apia
<v Speaker 1>with a speedo.
<v Speaker 3>On, shake your sugar dust everywhere?
<v Speaker 1>That's what I'm talking back.
<v Speaker 3>That would be epic.
<v Speaker 1>Shaugar have you guys.
<v Speaker 3>Ever done the Bonita.
<v Speaker 1>You can't say that I have either. I haven't shown.
<v Speaker 2>But they encourage you to like wear costumes and get
<v Speaker 2>into the whole act and everything, because everybody, even the
<v Speaker 2>cliff divers, everybody kind of gets into.
<v Speaker 1>The dress up. Like one of the Mariachi guys come
<v Speaker 1>in with a jank guitar, just like in your speedout. Yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 1>so I'll be a soapopia with a big sombrero on
<v Speaker 1>in Espeedo.
<v Speaker 3>See that we've already figured it out.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, there he goes.
<v Speaker 2>So anyway, Casa Boonita, you can get in on that
<v Speaker 2>starting September twenty ninth.
<v Speaker 1>All right, So in a mile High High, Katie was
<v Speaker 1>talking about how Colorado kids be math in math scores
<v Speaker 1>are way up, and we actually had a math teacher
<v Speaker 1>call us to confirm. Hi, Andrea, good morning, Welcome to
<v Speaker 1>the show.
<v Speaker 4>Hi, thank you.
<v Speaker 1>Well, where are you a math teacher at?
<v Speaker 4>Oh you're on the street from you that's right, you
<v Speaker 4>know me? You know me?
<v Speaker 1>Oh? Really we know you? Yeah? Uh so you're you're
<v Speaker 1>teaching math? What kind of math are you teaching?
<v Speaker 2>Like?
<v Speaker 1>Algebra?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, algebra one and geometry. I got the ninth and
<v Speaker 4>tenth graders. So ninth grade scores went up a whole lot,
<v Speaker 4>tenth grade went up a decent amount. But my principal
<v Speaker 4>even came in and said he wanted to frame our
<v Speaker 4>data from last year from how much we grew so
<v Speaker 4>pretty exciting.
<v Speaker 1>Did you asked for a raise? Like shit? It saw me?
<v Speaker 4>No, But I told him anything he wanted me to do.
<v Speaker 4>In my observation, I wasn't doing it because clearly I
<v Speaker 4>know what I'm doing.
<v Speaker 1>And then we laughed, Yeah, yeah, that's pretty fun. Next,
<v Speaker 1>I will tell you that I graduated high school in
<v Speaker 1>nineteen ninety eight from Bear Creek. I'm a Bear Creek boy.
<v Speaker 4>I'm lake Wood, Tiger Lake local.
<v Speaker 1>I love that. I will tell you since nineteen ninety eight,
<v Speaker 1>I have never ever used algebra or geometry, I mean
<v Speaker 1>all anymore.
<v Speaker 4>Not frame it as procedural thinking, linear thinking process in
<v Speaker 4>place exactly it is.
<v Speaker 3>The process of figuring it out.
<v Speaker 1>That's a nice that's really good, really good, But I
<v Speaker 1>still have never used it. I appreciate what you do,
<v Speaker 1>and thank you for molding young minds. Thank you to
<v Speaker 1>all of our teachers out there. All jokes aside. And
<v Speaker 1>then one final one final question. Did you hear me
<v Speaker 1>talking about being a soapopoia in a speedo? You want
<v Speaker 1>to see that?
<v Speaker 2>Yes?
<v Speaker 4>I said I would call in only if if I
<v Speaker 4>get that AI image. Since we see all your AI
<v Speaker 4>images up there view with the sombrero, the soap apia
<v Speaker 4>and maybe a guitar strategiccy place, why is.
<v Speaker 1>It gotta be AI Andrea image right now?
<v Speaker 4>We don't need you getting fired.
<v Speaker 1>We don't need to get fired. We need you here.
<v Speaker 1>You're so funny, Andrea. We appreciate you listening. Now, get
<v Speaker 1>into class and teach those goofy kids. All right, all right,
<v Speaker 1>we'll do all right. Thank you for calling. He what
<v Speaker 1>you do. Thank you so much, and shout out to
<v Speaker 1>everybody at Columbine this morning. We love you guys. JKJ
<v Speaker 1>here at.
<v Speaker 3>Mix jaredy, Katie and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>Katie's been raving about some goofy movie that I guess
<v Speaker 1>Adam Sandler's daughter is. Uh.
<v Speaker 3>It's such a talk.
<v Speaker 2>It's called Don't Say good Luck, and it is it.
<v Speaker 3>Will make you cry.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to cry.
<v Speaker 3>I ugly cried for a good ten minutes during this
<v Speaker 3>movie watching it.
<v Speaker 2>It is so powerful it's about Sunny Sandler, who is
<v Speaker 2>Adam's daughter. She plays pretty much the main role, but
<v Speaker 2>it's about her trying to be in the school play.
<v Speaker 2>So she has the lead in the school play and
<v Speaker 2>it's all about her getting ready for it. But her
<v Speaker 2>mom is sick the entire time. So that's kind of
<v Speaker 2>like one of us.
<v Speaker 3>But it is like to.
<v Speaker 2>See his daughter's acting chop. She's only seventeen years old and.
<v Speaker 1>She well, he's one of the best actors of our time.
<v Speaker 3>It's so good and so like, well, no, I love
<v Speaker 3>Adam Sandler. I do. I know you're being serious there,
<v Speaker 3>but actually I.
<v Speaker 1>Will say, like in uncut Gems, in some of his dramatic.
<v Speaker 2>Work, he's really good. He's a good actor, and so yeah, Am,
<v Speaker 2>both of his daughters are in the acting world now,
<v Speaker 2>but this is his younger daughter, Sonny, and she just
<v Speaker 2>blew me away. And I'm seeing people post on it.
<v Speaker 2>And it's a good family movie. Like there's no swearing
<v Speaker 2>in it. There's not a lot of like heavy themes,
<v Speaker 2>except you know, the mom being.
<v Speaker 3>I don't want to ruin it, I don't want to tell.
<v Speaker 1>The whole story, but doesn't get better.
<v Speaker 2>Need to watch this movie, and I you know again,
<v Speaker 2>like there's gonna be some crying.
<v Speaker 3>Because it is very powerful, but it's so worth it.
<v Speaker 2>Like that's one of those movies that like, once you
<v Speaker 2>are done watching it, you sit there and think about
<v Speaker 2>it and I'm probably gonna watch.
<v Speaker 3>It again just because it was that good.
<v Speaker 2>But it really again, Ugly cried so much with this movie.
<v Speaker 1>Why so sad would you say, you know, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>plunk down again and watch That's like it made me?
<v Speaker 1>Why would you do that to yourself? Feel?
<v Speaker 2>And I like you need to as a human feel emotion,
<v Speaker 2>but it's important.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but I would feel at once and move on.
<v Speaker 2>No, But even this like they don't want to get
<v Speaker 2>depressed moments, but it's still it just makes you think.
<v Speaker 2>It makes it like I'm not gonna get that. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not telling she does. I'm not telling you anything.
<v Speaker 1>Does the ghost of her mother come back?
<v Speaker 3>Jeer me, no, stop stop it?
<v Speaker 1>Does the ghost of her mother give her encouragement to
<v Speaker 1>try hard and be all she can be?
<v Speaker 2>If you watch this movie and you come back, does
<v Speaker 2>the mom sound like I was right?
<v Speaker 3>I will be ready for it.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody sounds like Adam Sandler in this movie and actually
<v Speaker 2>the mom in the movie Melanie what is her last name?
<v Speaker 3>No, she's in so many things. She's in yellow Jackets.
<v Speaker 3>She plays Rose into and a half Men, That is
<v Speaker 3>the mom, and get.
<v Speaker 2>Roses in two and a half Men. But she's in
<v Speaker 2>a lot of things. She's like a character actress.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I'm excited not to watch it and get the
<v Speaker 1>depressed face. But really quick, what's the name of it
<v Speaker 1>for everybody else who's like, I want to cry like
<v Speaker 1>a baby.
<v Speaker 3>It's called Don't Say Good Luck?
<v Speaker 1>And it is a good movie. Thank you for that recommendation.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you. I want to complain about something here, but
<v Speaker 1>a little bit of a setup. About two weeks ago,
<v Speaker 1>went down to the basement where we have our deep freezer,
<v Speaker 1>and I opened the door and it was going zip zip, zip,
<v Speaker 1>zip zip, and the light was starting to tweak in it,
<v Speaker 1>and the temperature gage was way off and it said
<v Speaker 1>it was overheating, and I was like, ah, crap, oh no,
<v Speaker 1>the freezer's dying. And we've had that thing for about
<v Speaker 1>twenty years. So we got our money's work, okay, sure
<v Speaker 1>for that thing. So it was like a total scramble
<v Speaker 1>to get everything out of the deep freeze and like
<v Speaker 1>into I got another fridge down in the basement too,
<v Speaker 1>so I was trying to cram everything in that freezer.
<v Speaker 1>We were trying to cram everything into the upstairs freezer
<v Speaker 1>and it wasn't all. So I pulled out a cooler
<v Speaker 1>and I dumped a bunch of stuff in the cooler,
<v Speaker 1>and then I grabbed all the ice packs that we
<v Speaker 1>had and some ice bottles and stuff and put them
<v Speaker 1>in the cooler. And that was about two weeks ago,
<v Speaker 1>and I forgot I had everything in that cooler. Oh no,
<v Speaker 1>So I went down to the basement yesterday and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, what that smell is? Smells fun that smell
<v Speaker 1>And I cracked op in that green cooler and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, it was nasty meat and slime.
<v Speaker 3>Did he throw the whole cooler away?
<v Speaker 2>And that's what I would, Well, no, I would throw
<v Speaker 2>the whole thing.
<v Speaker 1>There was like a weird water slime water in the
<v Speaker 1>bottom of it and everything. I grabbed it and I
<v Speaker 1>like very carefully brought it up the stairs because I
<v Speaker 1>was like, I don't want to slash this, slash it.
<v Speaker 1>And I got it outside and I dumped everything into
<v Speaker 1>the garbage can, and then I let that baby air
<v Speaker 1>out and I hosed it down with pine salt and
<v Speaker 1>bleach and soap, and it smelled okay by the end
<v Speaker 1>of the day, really, oh my god, it was nasty.
<v Speaker 1>It was so something you don't want to forget. Right
<v Speaker 1>So now the basement's got this funny smell, this tinge
<v Speaker 1>to it right now, So I'm off for breeze the
<v Speaker 1>hell out of that basement.
<v Speaker 3>Stuff like absorbs into the carpet too. It'll take you
<v Speaker 3>a second.
<v Speaker 1>And we just got new Carbet, I know you did,
<v Speaker 1>like anyway, So that being said, we got the freezer delivered.
<v Speaker 1>It's up and running. Everything is fine and dandy. But
<v Speaker 1>that's been about a day and a half or so
<v Speaker 1>since we got that. And since the freezer has been
<v Speaker 1>put in it's up and running. I've received approximately forty
<v Speaker 1>five emails and texts saying will you please do an
<v Speaker 1>online survey about how great your your freezer is? And
<v Speaker 1>I'm just like, I'm at my limit with online surveys, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>saying the wand them for everything. It was like, how
<v Speaker 1>is your experience buying the freezer, how was the delivery,
<v Speaker 1>how is the delivery team? How is thing how are
<v Speaker 1>things freezing right now, like on there and be like,
<v Speaker 1>my meat's pretty solid right now? What they expect to
<v Speaker 1>put on? My meat's really solid?
<v Speaker 2>Right?
<v Speaker 3>You should go back and just put that in the notes.
<v Speaker 1>I kid you not. I brought Nick Knack home a
<v Speaker 1>tea the other day from Starby's in medicine law, just
<v Speaker 1>because I'm a nice guy, and within a half an hour,
<v Speaker 1>can you give us a survey on how caught your
<v Speaker 1>tea was?
<v Speaker 7>Like?
<v Speaker 3>Serious?
<v Speaker 1>Your tea?
<v Speaker 2>How insecure are businesses now that they need like constant
<v Speaker 2>affirmation that they're doing the right thing, like and that
<v Speaker 2>that will happen in fast food lines like all the time,
<v Speaker 2>things that you would just go through normally thinking this
<v Speaker 2>is part of your day, and then they need feedback.
<v Speaker 3>But you're right, like, who does those surveys? I don't
<v Speaker 3>do them.
<v Speaker 1>I don't do surveys. I don't think you need to
<v Speaker 1>know more about me than you already have. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>doing it. And I always like the one at Starby's
<v Speaker 1>kind of made me giggle a little bit because I'm
<v Speaker 1>looking at it and I'm like, do you think there's
<v Speaker 1>somebody there at Starbucks Corporate sitting there hands crossed, staring
<v Speaker 1>at their screen, going God, I wish Jeremy would message
<v Speaker 1>back and tell us how the tea was. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if we could move on if we don't know
<v Speaker 1>how the tea was.
<v Speaker 3>Halt operations until he.
<v Speaker 1>Shut down that stopwucks shut down the drive through.
<v Speaker 3>We don't know how the t was for this guy.
<v Speaker 1>Funny story out this morning talking about the only way
<v Speaker 1>to get Gen xers back to concerts again. I'm technically
<v Speaker 1>an xer. I was at the very end.
<v Speaker 2>You're young exer, yeah, because you're also kind of a
<v Speaker 2>millennial like thing right there.
<v Speaker 1>I was November of seventy nine, so then it flipped
<v Speaker 1>to millennials in eighty I believe. Yeah, so you're right.
<v Speaker 1>At least, I like being able to say I'm a
<v Speaker 1>I'm an ex or even though it's like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>barely made it for difference or something like that, because
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to say I'm a millennial.
<v Speaker 3>No, you're definitely not a boomer.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, I just squeezed into the exers. But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>so this kind of stings a little bit. But they
<v Speaker 1>say the only way to get excers back to concerts
<v Speaker 1>again bring back physical tickets, cell phone tickets equal anxiety
<v Speaker 1>for older generations. Yeah, I think so. I've even felt
<v Speaker 1>like that on occasion, like is my phone not gonna work?
<v Speaker 1>Is it gonna freeze up? Take a screenshot?
<v Speaker 3>And screenshots don't work with the tickets.
<v Speaker 1>You have to write the actual.
<v Speaker 3>You know, QR.
<v Speaker 1>Some of them do, like I got tickets to the
<v Speaker 1>rodeo up in my own. Purchase your tickets and they
<v Speaker 1>come with complimentary readers and some ibuprofen. Oh shut up?
<v Speaker 1>More chairs. Chairs are awesome, jen Xers would love to
<v Speaker 1>go to more concerts if there are just more chairs
<v Speaker 1>because they need to ship down. I like standing the
<v Speaker 1>whole time. Don't tell you.
<v Speaker 2>I just had the opportunity to have pit seats or
<v Speaker 2>actual chairs for a concert I went to, and I
<v Speaker 2>chose the chairs.
<v Speaker 3>I'm not trying to stand for four hours.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, chairs, I don't care how old you are, Cleaner restrooms, extras.
<v Speaker 1>Don't want to deal with porta potties. Yeah, I think
<v Speaker 1>that's just a jaw across the board too.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to be in a honeybudy like buckets.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Find the band one thousand dollars for every minute they
<v Speaker 1>are late taking this stage. Yes, yes, yes, the exers
<v Speaker 1>like to go to bed early.
<v Speaker 2>I think everybody would appreciate a concert that starts at
<v Speaker 2>five reach, like, come on.
<v Speaker 1>So that's what this story says. At the end. If
<v Speaker 1>it's spring or summer, the concert should start at three
<v Speaker 1>pm and be done by six. That way, nobody has
<v Speaker 1>to drive home when it's really dark out.
<v Speaker 3>That's funny.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, And then the last one, I like to lock
<v Speaker 1>up all the cell phones so none are allowed. Just
<v Speaker 1>go there, enjoy the band. You don't need twenty thousand
<v Speaker 1>amateur photographers trying to post a clip online.
<v Speaker 2>Well, and also, I don't know if this is mentioned
<v Speaker 2>in that story, but the actual physical ticket just as
<v Speaker 2>a memento. I have held on to so many tickets
<v Speaker 2>that I went to concerts, and like, I have a box,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, I have the very move but I
<v Speaker 2>go through.
<v Speaker 1>I have one of our very first date tickets, me
<v Speaker 1>and Nick Nack. I took her to go see Dracula
<v Speaker 1>at the Bule And this was back in twenty whatever.
<v Speaker 3>Early two thousand two. Got together.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and yeah, it's on our mirror in our bedroom.
<v Speaker 1>Unlike the dresser, it's the ticket stub to our first
<v Speaker 1>little like major date.
<v Speaker 2>I'm telling you, the memories tied to a ticket stub
<v Speaker 2>are way more potent than anything you'll see from a
<v Speaker 2>video that a concert right like, so I like the
<v Speaker 2>physical tickets.
<v Speaker 3>Five five The fun starts now with Fast five.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, fine, but it's time to play fast five Fast five?
<v Speaker 1>How Fast with Jeremy, Katie and Josh. It is definitely
<v Speaker 1>time to play fast f with Jeremy, Katie and Josh.
<v Speaker 1>Here ed Mix one hundred. If you'd like to call
<v Speaker 1>in and play three oh three six nine to one
<v Speaker 1>one mix three oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine,
<v Speaker 1>I'll get you in the studios. Uh no, A lot
<v Speaker 1>of kiddos are out and about now with schools back
<v Speaker 1>in session. H dps will be back soon, but carpool
<v Speaker 1>lanes are probably slammed right now. So if you've never
<v Speaker 1>played before, kiddos, bug your parents, have them call in
<v Speaker 1>three oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine. We'll
<v Speaker 1>get you on the air, get to know you a
<v Speaker 1>little bit. I'll tosh you a category and start a
<v Speaker 1>ten second timer. Within those ten seconds, you gotta give
<v Speaker 1>me five things that have to do with that category.
<v Speaker 1>You think you can pull it off well we'd love
<v Speaker 1>to talk to you. Love to me if you've never
<v Speaker 1>played before three oh three six nine one, sixteen forty
<v Speaker 1>nine Katie examples hit cool.
<v Speaker 2>You've asked for things like five comic book cares that
<v Speaker 2>are animal related. You've also said quick five things that
<v Speaker 2>are the five flavors of peeps, and yesterday deb one
<v Speaker 2>night with five businesses that start with the letter WU.
<v Speaker 3>So you never know what you're gonna ask.
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy by a sky silly little boy, are mean?
<v Speaker 3>It's on your business card?
<v Speaker 1>So yes, you are Jeremy sneaky silly little boy.
<v Speaker 7>Uh.
<v Speaker 1>If you've never played before, I'd like to talk to
<v Speaker 1>some people who haven't played, like ten times three O
<v Speaker 1>three six nine one one mix three O three six
<v Speaker 1>nine one sixteen forty nine Katie. Yeah, what are we
<v Speaker 1>playing for today?
<v Speaker 3>Concert tickets and you're gonna get to go to the Junkyard.
<v Speaker 3>That place is neat.
<v Speaker 2>We've been looking at pictures online of it. Five seconds
<v Speaker 2>of Summer's playing this Saturday hitting that stage.
<v Speaker 3>You'll be there too if you can win fast five
<v Speaker 3>ooh good luck?
<v Speaker 1>Did you just go?
<v Speaker 2>Ooh?
<v Speaker 1>Okay. We are quickly working through these phone lines. Some
<v Speaker 1>of you you're doing that thing where you get placed
<v Speaker 1>on hold and then you hang up. Stop doing that.
<v Speaker 1>I know that the lines get crazy packed. The phone
<v Speaker 1>companies even told us, hey, could you could you cool
<v Speaker 1>it a little bit? I know, but if you make
<v Speaker 1>it in, don't hang up, okay, that means you're on hold.
<v Speaker 1>So three O three, I see, somebody just did three
<v Speaker 1>O three six nine to one sixteen forty nine. Don't
<v Speaker 1>hang up on't you get placed on hold?
<v Speaker 6>All right?
<v Speaker 3>Who made it through?
<v Speaker 6>Let's see?
<v Speaker 1>Got a Sam? Hi? Sam?
<v Speaker 5>Hey, your kidd name?
<v Speaker 1>What?
<v Speaker 3>Hello?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, We're off to a really good start. Goodness Rachelle?
<v Speaker 4>Oh hello, oh hello?
<v Speaker 1>First week of school?
<v Speaker 8>Huh yes, yes, those early mornings back at it?
<v Speaker 1>Are your kids struggling?
<v Speaker 7>Oh yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah.
<v Speaker 4>It's like why are they making us wake up for school?
<v Speaker 1>You're like, well, this is the rest of your life.
<v Speaker 1>You're gonna have to wake up early in two things,
<v Speaker 1>so quit whining. My son had his first day back
<v Speaker 1>yesterday and he went in at like seven thirty in
<v Speaker 1>the morning, and then he had cross country afterwards. He
<v Speaker 1>didn't get home until about six five forty five last night.
<v Speaker 1>That was a long day for that kid, Like right
<v Speaker 1>back at it. He was so tired. Total I know,
<v Speaker 1>poor little buddy. I was like, whatever, no, jump in
<v Speaker 1>and do your chores. You got chores?
<v Speaker 4>Oh no, it's right.
<v Speaker 1>Are you ready to play fast? Wife? Your phone kind
<v Speaker 1>of sucks. Are you on a speakerphone or bluetooth?
<v Speaker 2>Ah?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I'm on a blue shoe.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Josh should be telling everybody to get off those
<v Speaker 1>Could you get and get you off that?
<v Speaker 4>Yes, I'm off.
<v Speaker 1>That's a thousand times better. All right, Rochelle. In ten seconds,
<v Speaker 1>give me five famous clowns.
<v Speaker 7>Go oh oh Ronald McDonald one.

<v Speaker 1>God, Well that wasn't good at all, not at all. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>Krusty the clowns, Keenny Wise living Underground? Oh yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>many Moore. Rachelle, you have a great day. We appreciate
<v Speaker 1>you calling in. Is this Sam again? Well that's Sam

<v Speaker 4>No, he actually went back. He went back last week.
<v Speaker 1>He's a pro. Then, ye, all right, I'm gonna give
<v Speaker 1>you a movie one, no sequels, no cheating, no help.

<v Speaker 1>very funny rebel Wilson.

<v Speaker 1>you have a super doube's day. We appreciate you falling in.
<v Speaker 1>How do I pronounce this? Is it tyranny?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah? That's it.
<v Speaker 1>Hi, Tierney, welcome to the show. Thanks for calling in.
<v Speaker 7>Thanks, what are you.
<v Speaker 1>Doing this morning?
<v Speaker 7>Just taking my son to school?
<v Speaker 1>Well give him a shout out? Exavier name channeling the
<v Speaker 1>X Men.
<v Speaker 7>There, that's right.
<v Speaker 3>That was a boy. She was going to be named Xavier.
<v Speaker 1>Is it based off the X Men?
<v Speaker 7>Know his dad's names?
<v Speaker 5>Uh?
<v Speaker 7>It was more of like copying his dad's middle name,
<v Speaker 7>Javier and I was like, I didn't really like that,
<v Speaker 7>so we went with Xavier.
<v Speaker 1>So I like it. It's very solid, very solid.
<v Speaker 4>Appreciated.
<v Speaker 3>What do I have for you?
<v Speaker 1>I got another one that came in from a listener.
<v Speaker 1>So yesterday we did five movie titles with a man's

<v Speaker 1>I could have swear you said my friend. Please don't
<v Speaker 1>answer that makeout question. Yeah, please don't don't answer that.

<v Speaker 4>Friend victorious secret. Okay, you got four.
<v Speaker 1>James, I'm still annoying. Have a great.
<v Speaker 4>Day, thank you.
<v Speaker 9>Bye.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god. Daniella, yes, good morning, good morning. For
<v Speaker 1>the love of God, will you would just be done
<v Speaker 1>with this? This is two days in a row, two
<v Speaker 1>days in a row that it's been all right? Who
<v Speaker 1>you're whispering to? Really quick? Who you're whispering to?
<v Speaker 7>Uh?
<v Speaker 6>Oh it Starbucks?
<v Speaker 1>It's Starbucks.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, Starbucks drive through.
<v Speaker 1>I kind of want the barista to play right now?
<v Speaker 6>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Right? Okay, are you focused? Are you ready to do this?
<v Speaker 4>I'm gonna try.
<v Speaker 7>You gave me the last one when you said Victoria's Secret.
<v Speaker 1>Oh I should have shut up. Well maybe I'll change it. No,
<v Speaker 1>what well you had?
<v Speaker 7>You helped me one time and you gave me.
<v Speaker 4>You gave me Sylvester still on movies, but you didn't
<v Speaker 4>say no.
<v Speaker 1>Uh oh, so okay, so you want you did.
<v Speaker 7>Adam Sandler, and I freaking me I died? So will
<v Speaker 7>you happen?
<v Speaker 1>Okay?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, okay, so you have before?
<v Speaker 4>No, I did not win.
<v Speaker 7>No, you gave me a second chance and I still
<v Speaker 7>bombed it.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Well, don't tempt me here, Danielle. I know
<v Speaker 1>I'm done with this. Okay, what letter? What letter?
<v Speaker 7>Tell me?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, you get it. Your wish is my command? Businesses,
<v Speaker 1>then start with a letter v come on.
<v Speaker 9>Go okay, Victoria's Secret, visa Verizon Vobo and folks, folks sagon.
<v Speaker 1>That's all you got?
<v Speaker 7>Did I get enough.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. It's not official yet. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what Katie's flipping out about it. Right there, she gets
<v Speaker 1>she's crazy. He didn't say my name, Jervy. Yeah, what
<v Speaker 1>play the win?
<v Speaker 3>Thank you?
<v Speaker 1>You finally did it, Danielle. Now all right, I'm done
<v Speaker 1>with it. Yeah, you're a rock star. We appreciate you
<v Speaker 1>listening to this morning show each and every day and
<v Speaker 1>calling in and playing Jarney, Katie and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>As kids head back to school, there's some very important
<v Speaker 1>information that you need to learn about, including this teacher
<v Speaker 1>in Houston who is conducting an interesting social experiment. Teachers
<v Speaker 1>are probably dealing with children passing gas frequently in the classrooms,
<v Speaker 1>especially the younger kids. So she has now designated a
<v Speaker 1>special fart corner in her classroom where the kids can
<v Speaker 1>simply go over, take a couple seconds to tow it
<v Speaker 1>in the corner where nobody cares, nobody can smell it,
<v Speaker 1>and they get back to their seat. She says, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just trying to keep the grown there you go. She says,
<v Speaker 1>I'm just trying to keep the funk in one area. Smart.
<v Speaker 1>So she's got a TikTok video that's accumulated millions of
<v Speaker 1>views AFT as of this morning. Where she's showing off
<v Speaker 1>her classroom and yes, there indeed is a corner in
<v Speaker 1>the classroom and she's got a sign up there that
<v Speaker 1>says fart corner. Well do we not have shame anymore?
<v Speaker 2>I know?
<v Speaker 3>And I think the kids probably dig it, right.
<v Speaker 1>They think it's fun.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, they like to go over there and look
<v Speaker 2>at people and like smile and give them a smirk like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you know what.
<v Speaker 1>Actually, I've been in the classrooms, you know, when my
<v Speaker 1>kids were younger in the elementary schools, doing stuff for
<v Speaker 1>class parties, and it amazes me how many times those
<v Speaker 1>kids are farting in that class. Like these poor teachers
<v Speaker 1>deal with enough.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and they do it just fully aware.
<v Speaker 1>To they don't even care. It's just to them, it's
<v Speaker 1>like whatever, I.
<v Speaker 3>Mean, they're fully they're like lifting cheeks. Yeah, they don't
<v Speaker 3>know at all.
<v Speaker 1>So this teacher is like, you know, I'm tired of it.
<v Speaker 1>So if you need to do your business, go over.
<v Speaker 3>Here to the corner, smart teacher.
<v Speaker 1>So shifting gears, though, we got to be a little
<v Speaker 1>more serious, Yes, you got to talk about the drugs.
<v Speaker 2>Well, in the older kids, because anyone who has a
<v Speaker 2>kid who is you know, a teenager age, you have
<v Speaker 2>to have those conversations with them because that's when they
<v Speaker 2>start dabbling. They have to know that, you know, they're
<v Speaker 2>dangerous and stuff. And so the now hold up, you
<v Speaker 2>hold up well because now kids with parents like there,
<v Speaker 2>it's a whole new way of communicating.
<v Speaker 3>So now not only do you have to have the talk.
<v Speaker 2>With your kids, you need to make sure you look
<v Speaker 2>through their phone so they're not having any secret conversations
<v Speaker 2>about drugs. And now they have a whole new language
<v Speaker 2>and the emojis in which they discuss it. So the
<v Speaker 2>DEA they came out, they're encouraging parents to talk with
<v Speaker 2>their kids about the dangers of illegal street drugs as
<v Speaker 2>they're heading back to school. But these emojis that they're using,
<v Speaker 2>they're coming out and telling the parents you need to
<v Speaker 2>watch for these on your kid's cell phone. Some of
<v Speaker 2>them can be used as a secret language. So what
<v Speaker 2>about the drug users, I'm looking for the do I
<v Speaker 2>put on different?
<v Speaker 3>Okay?
<v Speaker 2>So that's the thing is it's like as far as
<v Speaker 2>different drugs, there's different emojis for.
<v Speaker 3>What they say.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I'm looking for the crack tucking crack.
<v Speaker 3>Well that's cocaine, right, that's what that is.
<v Speaker 2>So snowflakes, a snowman, a diamond, an eight ball.
<v Speaker 1>There's like.
<v Speaker 2>There's a smiley face with the tongue out, and there's
<v Speaker 2>also looks like a fish.
<v Speaker 3>I know.
<v Speaker 1>So it's like put them all in place.
<v Speaker 3>The only one that's like this.
<v Speaker 2>Is what it is is the mushrooms, which is mushrooms.
<v Speaker 3>That's the one. But everything else.
<v Speaker 1>I got questions. What if I'm looking for the ecstasies.
<v Speaker 2>Ecstasy is a heart, a lightning bolt, an ex symbol,
<v Speaker 2>a piece of candy, or a pill emoji, any of those.
<v Speaker 3>I know, like the heart emojis.
<v Speaker 2>It's like, wait a second, I use that needs to
<v Speaker 2>be and I ain't talking about that.
<v Speaker 3>But they have everything.
<v Speaker 2>The potweed has a little swish, right, the smoke where
<v Speaker 2>you're like running so fast or smoke behind you.
<v Speaker 3>There's that one. There's fire.
<v Speaker 2>There's a palm tree, which is dumb. Everyone knows it's
<v Speaker 2>the evergreen tree.
<v Speaker 3>And then there's the where it's.
<v Speaker 1>Like and then what to do with the potweed. Well,
<v Speaker 1>the trees, the trees, you get some trees, not a
<v Speaker 1>palm tree, but the palm tree kind of looks like
<v Speaker 1>a potweed leaf a little bit.
<v Speaker 5>I don't think they have an evergreen tree.
<v Speaker 3>Heroines, it's a Christmas tree.
<v Speaker 2>Heroin is a brown heart and a green dragon.
<v Speaker 1>Oh about yeah, yeah, yeah, so I'm out of drugs.
<v Speaker 2>Well they have met the Uh it looks like a
<v Speaker 2>crystal ball, a blue heart, another diamond, and then it
<v Speaker 2>has a little beaker.
<v Speaker 1>What about beers, they're just beer.
<v Speaker 3>There's not a beer. One, there's not a beer.
<v Speaker 1>But again that vaping.
<v Speaker 3>You're not really trying to prosecution.
<v Speaker 1>No, there's not copy my homework. Goodness, is there anything
<v Speaker 1>innocent on there at all?
<v Speaker 3>Not really? No, coughs her up.
<v Speaker 1>That's not innocent.
<v Speaker 3>It's a baby bottle. Okay, all right, Well, thank you
<v Speaker 3>for beware of.
<v Speaker 1>Very good public service. This was very informative. Thank you, Katie.
<v Speaker 1>Janessa says I have a friendship dilemma. My birthday was
<v Speaker 1>a couple of weeks ago and one of my longtime friends, Tanisha,
<v Speaker 1>surprised me with a coach purse. It was way more
<v Speaker 1>expensive than anything we normally exchanged for birthdays. I was shocked.
<v Speaker 1>I thanked her a million times, told her how much
<v Speaker 1>I loved it. Later, I got curious. I did look
<v Speaker 1>up the purse online. It sells for about five hundred bucks,
<v Speaker 1>which made me even more surprised that she spent that
<v Speaker 1>much money on me. Here's where he gets kind of awkward.
<v Speaker 1>I got a couple other friends who are really into
<v Speaker 1>designer purses. I showed it to him. They almost immediately
<v Speaker 1>started pointing out little things that didn't look right, like
<v Speaker 1>the stitching and the logos some of the hardware. They
<v Speaker 1>are convinced that this purse is a knockoff. Oh now
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what to do. Jenesa says. Part of
<v Speaker 1>me is worried that Tanisha paid hundreds of dollars for
<v Speaker 1>this purse thinking it was authentic, and somebody ripped her off.
<v Speaker 1>If that happened, I feel like I should tell her
<v Speaker 1>so she can try to get some of her money back.
<v Speaker 1>But then she goes on to say, but there's another
<v Speaker 1>possibility that I don't even like thinking about. But what
<v Speaker 1>if she knew it was fake when she bought it.
<v Speaker 1>If that's the case, bringing it up basically forces her
<v Speaker 1>to admit, yeah, I bought you a knockoff, and I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to embarrass her. Or sound ungrateful. She says
<v Speaker 1>it was still a birthday gift. She didn't have to
<v Speaker 1>give me anything. She goes, here's my dilemma, guys, what
<v Speaker 1>do I do? Do I tell Tanisha that I found
<v Speaker 1>out that the purse might be a fake and there's
<v Speaker 1>a chance that she was scammed? Or do I just
<v Speaker 1>shut up, appreciate the thought behind the gift and never
<v Speaker 1>mention it. Uh? I edit some of this sad If
<v Speaker 1>she knowingly bought me a knockoff and passed it off
<v Speaker 1>as reel, is that actually a crappy thing for a
<v Speaker 1>friend to do? Or am I being completely ungrateful as
<v Speaker 1>how she ended it? We'll love to hear about this
<v Speaker 1>on the air. You guys are the bomb, And that's
<v Speaker 1>from Genesa, Sweet Genessa. So there you go. There's her dilemma.
<v Speaker 1>If you want to sound off, voice your opinion three
<v Speaker 1>O three six nine one one mix which is three
<v Speaker 1>oh three six' nine one sixteen forty. Nine boy oh,
<v Speaker 1>BOY i know why did she even show it to
<v Speaker 1>her other? FRIENDS i just enjoy it. EXACTLY i blame
<v Speaker 1>the other friends in this.
<v Speaker 2>Instance, yeah, well especially if she didn't notice anything wrong
<v Speaker 2>and she was really she seemed really happy about it at,
<v Speaker 2>first you, know so.
<v Speaker 3>Huh but you, know.
<v Speaker 1>It sucks if you're like all excited about and you
<v Speaker 1>are wearing, it like out and about and you do
<v Speaker 1>HAVE i, mean women love, purses they, do and you're
<v Speaker 1>out and about just completely, oblivious and then they start
<v Speaker 1>like noticing it while you're out and. Stuff that's. Embarrassing,
<v Speaker 1>well because here's the.
<v Speaker 2>Thing women who really and people just people in general
<v Speaker 2>who really know.
<v Speaker 3>Persons they can tell from you.
<v Speaker 2>Know half a mile away if that's a fake or,
<v Speaker 2>not because there is specific things whether the lettering lines.
<v Speaker 2>Up you, know a lot of these, PURSES i mean
<v Speaker 2>they have to specifically make sure the logo isn't cut.
<v Speaker 1>Off in any, way shape or.
<v Speaker 2>Form so there's a lot of things that go into
<v Speaker 2>a high end, persons especially when we're talking The Louis,
<v Speaker 2>vauton The, gucci The. CHANELLE i, mean those are the
<v Speaker 2>really high end purchase.
<v Speaker 3>PERSES i Mean coach and you, Know Tory burch and those.
<v Speaker 2>Things those are nice as, well but if we're talking
<v Speaker 2>high end like thousands of, dollars like really those, ones
<v Speaker 2>like the stitching is so perfect that just the littlest
<v Speaker 2>bit and not only, that but inside there's a serial
<v Speaker 2>number and everything that you can look. At so there's some, legitimate, legitimate,
<v Speaker 2>legitimate keep trying some real stuff aware of.
<v Speaker 1>It so it really is my thing though too is, like,
<v Speaker 1>say her longtime friend here did buy this for her
<v Speaker 1>and she did get, Scammed LIKE i THINK i would
<v Speaker 1>be in that situation Where i'm, like what if she
<v Speaker 1>didn't know and she paid a lot of money for,
<v Speaker 1>This LIKE i want her to try to get her
<v Speaker 1>money back or. Something, yeah but who. KNOWS i mean
<v Speaker 1>she could have bought this On facebook. Marketplace and that's where.
<v Speaker 2>It's hard because it's, like, yeah if your friend got,
<v Speaker 2>DUPED i know you would feel for them and you'd
<v Speaker 2>want them, to you, know make that. Right but it's like,
<v Speaker 2>how like can you make it? Right is it worth
<v Speaker 2>embarrassing your?
<v Speaker 1>Friends?
<v Speaker 3>Hey how do you even go about?
<v Speaker 4>It?
<v Speaker 1>Show why'd you do this to? Me you? Suck you
<v Speaker 1>bought me a?
<v Speaker 3>Gift how dare?
<v Speaker 1>You you're the? Worst this is? FAKE i hate? You
<v Speaker 1>like then it'll be a second show wants to know
<v Speaker 1>Dilemma LIKE i got in a fight with my. Friend,
<v Speaker 1>okay so. LISTEN i would love to talk to people.
<v Speaker 1>LADIES i know you got your. PURSES i know you.
<v Speaker 1>Do my wife's got closet full of these unnecessarily expensive.
<v Speaker 1>Purses we want your, Thoughts we want your. Comments if
<v Speaker 1>you found out that your bestie gave you a knockoff,
<v Speaker 1>purse would you be? Pised would you point it out to?
<v Speaker 1>Her would you help her get her money? Back all
<v Speaker 1>sorts of. Scenarios m it's the same SOUND i make
<v Speaker 1>WHEN i open up my brand New coach purse and
<v Speaker 1>smell that nice new. Leather, OH i Know i'm not
<v Speaker 1>gonna lie WHEN i give those purses as gifts To Nick.
<v Speaker 1>Knack it is kind of like a special unboxing for
<v Speaker 1>those like when you open the, box because everything's pretty tissue.
<v Speaker 1>Presentation it's like in the person is in its own.
<v Speaker 1>Bag it's like in a cloth.
<v Speaker 3>Bag a dust, bag just you, know the dust.
<v Speaker 1>Bag thank, you your mom's a dust, bag like the.
<v Speaker 1>SPECIAL i even caught myself off guard with. THAT i
<v Speaker 1>apologized to your. Mother the like the foam that is
<v Speaker 1>wrapped around them, like, oh it's. Anyway and then you
<v Speaker 1>have a video Unboxing.
<v Speaker 3>Nick it's a whole. Thing, yeah big, deal all.
<v Speaker 1>Right So janessa wrote in she got a gift from
<v Speaker 1>her Friend. Tanisha it was a coach. Purse she looked
<v Speaker 1>it up and it was an expensive. Purse but her
<v Speaker 1>other friends are, like, uh this is a fake and she's,
<v Speaker 1>like what DO i? Do just be quiet about? This
<v Speaker 1>or SHOULD i Let tanisha know that she might have
<v Speaker 1>been ripped? Off that's today's Show wants To know. Dilemma
<v Speaker 1>easily twenty five women piped in on the text Line,
<v Speaker 1>katie you got anything you want to?
<v Speaker 7>Read?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah this one From christine, SAYS i would, say who
<v Speaker 2>cares about the purse being? Fake she probably still spent fifty.
<v Speaker 2>Bucks it's not that big of a. DEAL i would
<v Speaker 2>leave it, alone not tell your friend as she probably
<v Speaker 2>already knows it was a fake. Purse AND i like
<v Speaker 2>this one as. Well don't embarrass the. Friend people gift
<v Speaker 2>because they want to because it comes from a genuine
<v Speaker 2>place most of the, time not to have it, listen
<v Speaker 2>and we don't judge type of scenario reciprocated back to
<v Speaker 2>them post, gifts so they say not worth the emotional,
<v Speaker 2>Stirring AND i agree with THESE i think that you,
<v Speaker 2>know we don't know how much she paid for the,
<v Speaker 2>purse SO i think that in itself she made you already.
<v Speaker 1>Know she's, like, yeah she's got a good deal on.
<v Speaker 4>It.
<v Speaker 1>WHAT a lot of ladies writing in, saying if you
<v Speaker 1>do bring it, up make sure it's one hundred percent fake,
<v Speaker 1>first because that is going to lead to a very
<v Speaker 1>awkward scenario if it's. Real so make sure it's a
<v Speaker 1>hum that's a good. Paint and a lot of them
<v Speaker 1>are saying a gift is still a. Gift just enjoy,
<v Speaker 1>It and then here is my take on. IT i would,
<v Speaker 1>say shut, up enjoy. It the general, public ninety nine
<v Speaker 1>percent of people walking around are not going to know
<v Speaker 1>that this thing is. Fake, yeah they're just gonna be, like,
<v Speaker 1>damn that's a nice, purse you, classy. Right the only
<v Speaker 1>people that are gonna know that it's fake is the
<v Speaker 1>four or five friends that you already showed it. To
<v Speaker 1>don't wear it around, Them, yeah just don't wear it
<v Speaker 1>around them, Whatever but then continue to rock it everywhere
<v Speaker 1>else exactly.
<v Speaker 2>Where wear it in front of your friend who gave
<v Speaker 2>it to, you to show it up in front of
<v Speaker 2>them a little.
<v Speaker 3>Bit you're that worried about the fake. Part but, YEAH
<v Speaker 3>i think there's a lot of ways that.
<v Speaker 2>You can get around it not hurt anybody's feelings BECAUSE i, think, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Throwing up On facebook marketplace scam somebody, else for, goodness
<v Speaker 1>that'd be somebody else's. Problem now it's time for. Sports
<v Speaker 1>you always got to remember to take the thing out
<v Speaker 1>of auto. Pilot you know rule number one, there take
<v Speaker 1>it out of auto. Pilot, joshu what's going on in? Sports?

<v Speaker 1>Nuggets so we don't necessarily want to talk about that.
<v Speaker 5>One, yeah but The minions now have a own version
<v Speaker 5>and they're doing this with a bunch of different celebrities
<v Speaker 5>and things like. That but this one specifically is going

<v Speaker 5>go crazy expensive and they bought him for like millions
<v Speaker 5>of dollars and now they're worth like sixteen. Dollars SO
<v Speaker 5>i don't, know but it's just funny to me what
<v Speaker 5>people will spend their money on a.
<v Speaker 1>Lot of, money piece of, cardboard right, piece and it's
<v Speaker 1>A minion on its are.
