<v Speaker 1>Jaredy Katie and Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>This is NFL music, right. The Broncos are playing tonight, right,
<v Speaker 2>so seven o'clock tonight, mile hide.
<v Speaker 3>Uh.
<v Speaker 2>They are saying there's a few lots down there that
<v Speaker 2>are opening up right around two thirty for you die
<v Speaker 2>hards who want to skip out of work today and
<v Speaker 2>get your tailgate on. But yeah, two thirty if you
<v Speaker 2>want to head down the main street section down there
<v Speaker 2>is at four, and then all lots open at five.
<v Speaker 2>And of course RTD is saying plan ahead, you know,
<v Speaker 2>because it's gonna be nuts down there.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Eat people eating their chicken wings and getting their drink on.
<v Speaker 4>Clark's so excited for this Broncos team.
<v Speaker 5>But a long offseason, Yes, that's what I was just
<v Speaker 5>telling somebody feeling.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, is this ever gonna start here?
<v Speaker 4>We ever gonna get football back?
<v Speaker 2>Now? Playing the Packers tonight, Yeah? Yeah. I like them
<v Speaker 2>because they got cute colors. I always go based off
<v Speaker 2>of the colors of their uniforms and their mascots and
<v Speaker 2>who's gonna win. I think that's a cute that's a
<v Speaker 2>cute color combination. I've always found it pleasing to the eyes.
<v Speaker 2>It's an O G color.
<v Speaker 5>They haven't changed their jerseys and ever exactly in ever,
<v Speaker 5>they're one.
<v Speaker 3>Of the historic teams for sure. So with your cheese fandom.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I do like cheese. To Brett Favara, I was
<v Speaker 2>digging around in the system here I found my son this.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what he was, two or three, but
<v Speaker 2>him saying I love football last year, right, yeah, right.
<v Speaker 4>Football.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he got that love from his mother. I'll tell
<v Speaker 2>you that. But I still don't have a antenna or
<v Speaker 2>anything at the house, so I don't even know how
<v Speaker 2>to watch the game tonight.
<v Speaker 3>Get on that, like I thought you were supposed to
<v Speaker 3>do that earlier this week.
<v Speaker 4>You didn't listen to Nick Knacks.
<v Speaker 2>So here's my priority list. Okay, so it's starts up
<v Speaker 2>here and they're getting a TV intended to watch football.
<v Speaker 2>Should be on the top.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, she's fine, happy wife, happy.
<v Speaker 2>Life that went out the window years ago. She's miserable.
<v Speaker 2>Are you kidding me?
<v Speaker 3>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>What's your go to football snackage? If you're at home
<v Speaker 2>watching the football game tonight.
<v Speaker 3>I'm a big chips and dip fan, and I like
<v Speaker 3>the potato chips in like a good French onion just
<v Speaker 3>scoop it.
<v Speaker 2>Oh do you make your own?
<v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, I mean make your own is like a
<v Speaker 3>loose term because it is.
<v Speaker 2>Do you stir the tub French onion dip?
<v Speaker 4>But I tell you what I do. That is a
<v Speaker 4>game changer in the land of dips.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, take that French onion and that's sour cream and
<v Speaker 3>you put it in the ninja for a couple sows.
<v Speaker 2>Are you kidding me?
<v Speaker 4>It gets it nice and like a rated whippy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's like fluffy.
<v Speaker 4>It's a whip.
<v Speaker 2>You're a fluffy dip.
<v Speaker 4>French onion dip much like you.
<v Speaker 3>It is so dang it changes it so much. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>it's so satisfying. And the first time I had it,
<v Speaker 3>I was like, why haven't I've been doing this my
<v Speaker 3>whole you could?
<v Speaker 2>You can what you go to? Chip fluffer just a
<v Speaker 2>you know, ruffles.
<v Speaker 3>Ruffles plane ridgid. It has to have the ridges because
<v Speaker 3>it has to hold the dip.
<v Speaker 2>Hold the dip. That is my go to which is
<v Speaker 2>your dating profile, right, that's the title of it. Come
<v Speaker 2>Hold the dip. It's just splitch guy, just spoor draft
<v Speaker 2>art with Jeremy, Katie and Josh Okay. Ladies I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 2>You're probably gonna be losing a lot of boyfriends today,
<v Speaker 2>a lot of hubbies, because today is a national Fantasy
<v Speaker 2>football draft Day.
<v Speaker 4>Oh no, it's.
<v Speaker 2>One of the largest sports traditions in the United States.
<v Speaker 2>Every August, millions of fans gathered with French family and
<v Speaker 2>co workers to shall a brighton get their picks. I
<v Speaker 2>don't participate in this, so you OCCD by it. No,
<v Speaker 2>not at all. I do want to play you this though.
<v Speaker 2>It gives me an excuse to you this until they say.
<v Speaker 2>There's about sixty million fantasy football players here in North America,
<v Speaker 2>with the average player participating in about seven leagues. A
<v Speaker 2>lot of passionate, passionate people. Now I know a lot
<v Speaker 2>of ladies participate in this as well. Nick Knack a
<v Speaker 2>few years ago was in a fantasy football draft and
<v Speaker 2>league and she won that year. She won it all
<v Speaker 2>and she was never invited.
<v Speaker 4>Back, like she's too good at this.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, she's really good at it. So anyway, today's the
<v Speaker 2>day where you get to make all your picks and
<v Speaker 2>then I have this for you too. I'm excited that
<v Speaker 2>Netflix has officially renewed America's sweet Hearts, The Dallas Cowboy
<v Speaker 2>Cheerleaders reality show.
<v Speaker 4>Would be for season four.
<v Speaker 2>That's going to follow the twenty six twenty seven squad
<v Speaker 2>and it'll arrive in twenty twenty seven. It follows the
<v Speaker 2>candidates through auditions and training camps and roster cuts and
<v Speaker 2>then into the NFL season. It's become a very popular
<v Speaker 2>show on Netflix. I don't know why you don't. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know why at all. So my daughter's into, you know,
<v Speaker 2>cheerleading and all that, and there's been a few times where,
<v Speaker 2>like on family movie Nights, we're flipping through Netflix and
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, hey, we should start this because you know
<v Speaker 2>you'd be interested. I'm telling my daughter you'd be you'd
<v Speaker 2>probably want to watch this, right, And Nicole's like, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>we're not watching.
<v Speaker 4>This, Jeremy, we know why you want to watch this.
<v Speaker 2>No, I just want to. I'm a big like I
<v Speaker 2>said the other day, I'm a big dancer. I'm really
<v Speaker 2>into dance. Yeah, I'm really good at dance. So they've
<v Speaker 2>got a really really solid dance routine.
<v Speaker 4>You got bad rhythm, bro, Yeah, So that's basically why
<v Speaker 4>i'd watched that.
<v Speaker 2>But if you're into the Dallas Cowboy cheer later cheerleaders.
<v Speaker 2>Good news season four is dropping on Netflix. What else
<v Speaker 2>is going on?
<v Speaker 5>Well, quickly, I do want to remind everybody we talked
<v Speaker 5>about this a little bit earlier, but the Broncos are
<v Speaker 5>playing tonight. Bonnicks is expected to start. That's the exciting news.
<v Speaker 5>He is gonna have his first start since breaking his
<v Speaker 5>ankle in the AFC Championship or the game before the
<v Speaker 5>AC Championship.
<v Speaker 2>So we have screws in that ankle.
<v Speaker 5>Probably usually do that just to make sure there's extra
<v Speaker 5>strengthen there. Yeah, So hopefully good luck to the Broncos
<v Speaker 5>and Bonnicks as they play tonight. But the viral video
<v Speaker 5>that I want to talk about that is making the
<v Speaker 5>rounds all over social media comes from last night's game.
<v Speaker 5>The New York Mets were taken on uh it doesn't
<v Speaker 5>matter actually, but they were playing at city Field, and
<v Speaker 5>city Field has been the ballpark for the Mets for
<v Speaker 5>a while now, and apparently there is holes in the
<v Speaker 5>fans stadium area, the seating area because in that hole,
<v Speaker 5>a raccoon's little paw is seen reaching around trying to
<v Speaker 5>get peanuts, and then eventually a fan bought a hot
<v Speaker 5>dog to put down that hole.
<v Speaker 2>For the raccoon expensive trait. It is the cute thing
<v Speaker 2>I've ever seen.
<v Speaker 5>All you see is this little pot trying to reach
<v Speaker 5>around for the things I think we should put in
<v Speaker 5>our stories. Maybe we can get that up in a
<v Speaker 5>little bit, because that video is the cutest thing you'll
<v Speaker 5>see today of people.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, another viral raccoon. Your attention. Please, you thought you'd
<v Speaker 2>heard it all. Just when you think you've seen everything,
<v Speaker 2>not even close.
<v Speaker 1>Who's spiraling, who's getting canceled? What's the local buzz?
<v Speaker 4>What can we expect?
<v Speaker 1>We're diving headfirst into the chaos. It's the mile High Hype.
<v Speaker 6>You know what's up?
<v Speaker 2>What's what's up.
<v Speaker 1>With jkj my NIX one hundred?
<v Speaker 2>Well, what's up with you, fine, sir? Mile High Hype
<v Speaker 2>is brought to you by Mountain High Appliance, where you'd
<v Speaker 2>get amazing savings throughout all their showrooms. Whether you're replacing
<v Speaker 2>one appliance or remodeling that entire kitchen, you can find
<v Speaker 2>top brands and expert advice. All you have to do
<v Speaker 2>is go to Mountain High Appliance dot com. There was
<v Speaker 2>a time many years ago when my wife and I
<v Speaker 2>would sit down and watch every damn episode of Dancing
<v Speaker 2>with the Oh Lord help me.
<v Speaker 3>There's a few seasons I was in that same camp.
<v Speaker 2>It's still going and the rumor mill of all the
<v Speaker 2>celebrities air quotes are starting to trickle out. This one
<v Speaker 2>is intriguing to me. Julia Stiles, the star of Ten
<v Speaker 2>Things I Hate About You Save the Last Dance?
<v Speaker 4>Right, Yeah, I.
<v Speaker 3>Could see her probably going very far in that, because
<v Speaker 3>again she has dancing in her background.
<v Speaker 4>So yes, yeah, that'd be fun. I'd watch for her.
<v Speaker 4>I would.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I might have to tune in because I do
<v Speaker 2>like her. It's me season thirty five. Good god man,
<v Speaker 2>that's a lot of dancing.
<v Speaker 4>Geez, how long have they been doing that show?
<v Speaker 2>Thirty five seasons?
<v Speaker 4>Well, thirty five seasons, but how many years?
<v Speaker 7>You know?
<v Speaker 4>It's like it seems like do some math. It's a
<v Speaker 4>long time.
<v Speaker 2>Who's the host now? Is that because Carlton stole one
<v Speaker 2>of the hosts, the guy from Fresh Friends?
<v Speaker 4>Just who it is?
<v Speaker 2>I have started in two thousand and five, twenty one
<v Speaker 2>years now?
<v Speaker 1>We know?
<v Speaker 2>Wow, be math in. Okay. So I had to pull
<v Speaker 2>this audio this morning because I like the show Shrinking
<v Speaker 2>on Apple TV. It's really good and Harrison Ford is
<v Speaker 2>in it, and he's made it no secret throughout the
<v Speaker 2>years that he is so sick of the Indiana Jones
<v Speaker 2>theme song. He's made jokes like that song follows me everywhere. Well,
<v Speaker 2>I thought this was kind of cute because they were
<v Speaker 2>out promoting shrinking on Sesame Street, which is also funny
<v Speaker 2>to me because if you watch that show, that is
<v Speaker 2>not a kid friendly show at all. But him and
<v Speaker 2>some of his cast were there talking about forgiveness and
<v Speaker 2>bravery and sharing, and Harrison Ford shared a cookie with
<v Speaker 2>Cookie Monster and here's what happened. No, it's just so ridiculous.
<v Speaker 3>If you want to play that song, you gotta come
<v Speaker 3>at me a specific way with.
<v Speaker 2>That cook Oh my god. But you know what, if
<v Speaker 2>you watch the video, Harrison was actually getting into it.
<v Speaker 2>It sounds like he's grandpa.
<v Speaker 5>He is.
<v Speaker 2>He's eighty four years old now. So anyway, one final
<v Speaker 2>thing I have for you, since I'm a big fan
<v Speaker 2>of the Zone, Amazon is planning to expand their Prime
<v Speaker 2>Air drone delivery services to nearly five hundred cities by
<v Speaker 2>the end of the year. So if you're ordering something light, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>Droni comes zipping over to your house and and drop
<v Speaker 2>it right there in your front yard, or or not.
<v Speaker 8>Like this news story, Lindsey Austin says she ran outside
<v Speaker 8>to record her first Amazon drone delivery, but watched as
<v Speaker 8>the whoops, watch as the drone hovered over her pool
<v Speaker 8>and drop the package right into the water. The mishap
<v Speaker 8>comes as Amazon is making a big splash unintended into
<v Speaker 8>drune delivery, with plans to expand primary to nearly five
<v Speaker 8>hundred cities and towns by the end of this year.
<v Speaker 8>Amazon says millions of items under five pounds can be
<v Speaker 8>delivered by drone, sometimes in as little as thirty minutes.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, still work, work on that.
<v Speaker 3>Or Lindsay with her first world problem, package went in
<v Speaker 3>my pool?
<v Speaker 2>And why are TV newspeople so stupid? Okay, making a splash.
<v Speaker 2>He didn't write it. He didn't write it.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, he read the teleprompter and he tried to do
<v Speaker 3>it as best.
<v Speaker 2>Jeremy, people drive me nuts.
<v Speaker 4>We love a few of them. What are you talking about?
<v Speaker 2>Just the end of that too. Let's isolate that here
<v Speaker 2>really quick. Cool? Alright, what else is going on?
<v Speaker 3>But okay, o a booster skirts batman? Have you heard
<v Speaker 3>about this? An organized theft? Ring in the metro area
<v Speaker 3>is using what's called a booster skirt to smuggle products
<v Speaker 3>out of stores at a high rate. So this is
<v Speaker 3>a big problem down in Douglas County here. Specifically, they've
<v Speaker 3>called them the booster skirt bandits. Oh, they're intentionally wearing
<v Speaker 3>these big skirts to conceal high value stolen items.
<v Speaker 4>Now this specific theft ring.
<v Speaker 3>They're going into cosmetic areas and stealing a bunch of makeup.
<v Speaker 4>And I don't know if you guys know.
<v Speaker 3>This, but makeup is stupid expensive. Oh I know, it's
<v Speaker 3>small so it can fit into place, you know what
<v Speaker 3>I mean, Like, you don't put a lot of it
<v Speaker 3>in that skirt.
<v Speaker 2>The first thing about makeup is like when my wife
<v Speaker 2>runs out of mass scarra and she's like, Hey, if
<v Speaker 2>you're running to Target today, pick me up some mascara
<v Speaker 2>and here's what I need and she lists it off
<v Speaker 2>on the text. You know, I look like an idiot
<v Speaker 2>standing there in the mascara section. Just I'm oblivious. I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>I have no idea what any of this means.
<v Speaker 3>Well, and even as somebody who buys mascara the way
<v Speaker 3>that they put the print on the packaging, like you
<v Speaker 3>have to stare at that stuff.
<v Speaker 2>For Do I want regular black? Do I want midnight black?
<v Speaker 2>Do I want black ish dot?
<v Speaker 4>There's so many so I get it?
<v Speaker 2>I can't and then I'll come home with the wrong one.
<v Speaker 2>She's like, I wanted midnight black and you got dusk black.
<v Speaker 4>I come home with the wrong one and I'm shopping
<v Speaker 4>for me. So you shouldn't feel bad. You shouldn't.
<v Speaker 3>But a retail theft in Colorado is a one point
<v Speaker 3>three billion dollar industry with a B.
<v Speaker 4>They're really trying to crack down on this.
<v Speaker 3>But if you go see these videos with these booster skirts,
<v Speaker 3>it is wild just how apparent these people are.
<v Speaker 2>They What do they got under there, like a hip
<v Speaker 2>pack or something that they're shoving things?
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, I mean there's pockets in there.
<v Speaker 3>There's a lot of things strategically placed to hold these
<v Speaker 3>things in place.
<v Speaker 4>But it is almost like a hula hoop around it too.
<v Speaker 2>Like, oh okay, I thought this was like a butt
<v Speaker 2>crack situation.
<v Speaker 4>No, you probably even put a gorilla in there at
<v Speaker 4>some point.
<v Speaker 2>If you want to get out with a big skirt,
<v Speaker 2>you got a clench.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, exactly. So just if you see somebody in
<v Speaker 4>a big skirt.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, but they're looking at.
<v Speaker 3>This is something they're dealing with, especially down in Doshes County, Okay.
<v Speaker 3>So this is good news for everybody because we know
<v Speaker 3>how much everybody loves the ski and snowboard season and
<v Speaker 3>veil resorts announcing their opening dates.
<v Speaker 4>For ski season already.
<v Speaker 3>So this includes like Keystone, Breckinridge, Veil, Mountain, Beaver Creek,
<v Speaker 3>Crusted Butte, all those big areas, but as soon as
<v Speaker 3>possible in October for Keystone, that is the soonest one
<v Speaker 3>as when they're planning on opening. But they are laser
<v Speaker 3>focused on preparing the resorts to have everything ready for
<v Speaker 3>people to go. And I know, do you either want
<v Speaker 3>to use ski snow nonymore.
<v Speaker 2>I used to, but then we had kids and it
<v Speaker 2>was so expensive And I don't want to sit on
<v Speaker 2>the highway all the way up to these resorts. I
<v Speaker 2>just don't want to do that. That is something in
<v Speaker 2>my life that I have zero interest in doing.
<v Speaker 3>Well, when you go all the way up to these ones,
<v Speaker 3>it can absolutely be you know, well, if.
<v Speaker 2>You're going to Krusty Butt, I mean you're gonna have
<v Speaker 2>to get a place.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, You're gonna have to stay tonight for Crested.
<v Speaker 2>But I bet they're all hoping they get some snow
<v Speaker 2>this year though, because last year they were like, oh well.
<v Speaker 3>They were, but this year is forecasts that to be
<v Speaker 3>a lot better when it comes to snow totals, so.
<v Speaker 2>It's going to be a good They consult their Crystal Ball.
<v Speaker 4>Well, no, but you know the Farmer's Almanac.
<v Speaker 2>I looked at the almanac exactly. They called Miss Cleo.
<v Speaker 4>They look at all that stuff. But may I suggest
<v Speaker 4>Lovelin because that's where the locals go. Just want to
<v Speaker 4>put that out there.
<v Speaker 3>Anyway, one more here because we have the DNC possibly
<v Speaker 3>coming back to Denver.
<v Speaker 4>Now this is big news here.
<v Speaker 3>It's been almost twenty years since this has happened for Colorado.
<v Speaker 4>But we are one of three. In Boston and Philadelphia,
<v Speaker 4>those are the.
<v Speaker 2>Other two big money maker for sure.
<v Speaker 4>The finalist cities huge money.
<v Speaker 2>Matter what side of the you're on, it's gonna bring
<v Speaker 2>in a ton of revenue to the city, which is great.
<v Speaker 3>Absolutely, And when that happened back in two thousand and eight,
<v Speaker 3>I mean I don't remember a busier time for our area.
<v Speaker 2>It's good for restaurants, it's good for small businesses. It's
<v Speaker 2>good for weight staff and bartenders. Oh, it's really beneficial
<v Speaker 2>to the economy and.
<v Speaker 3>A big reason. We can give a shout out to DIA.
<v Speaker 3>One of the big things is the airport. We have
<v Speaker 3>one of the most connected airports in the country. And
<v Speaker 3>then a train that goes directly downtown with thirteen thousand
<v Speaker 3>hotel rooms within walking distance of the area they're going
<v Speaker 3>to hold it.
<v Speaker 4>So that's kind of how they're trying to tout.
<v Speaker 2>It's going to be a huge cell. Right, It's a huge.
<v Speaker 4>Cell, a huge cell. And here's the thing.
<v Speaker 3>Hosting a national convention could cost between seventy five million
<v Speaker 3>and ninety million dollars, right, but party leaders are expecting
<v Speaker 3>the economic impact could exceed four hundred million.
<v Speaker 2>See, that would be it seed. Wonder where all that
<v Speaker 2>money goes though, Like once it comes in, where does
<v Speaker 2>it go to? Roads and bridges? And can we get
<v Speaker 2>air conditioning and all the schools?
<v Speaker 4>Well, I'm sure exactly what's it going to?
<v Speaker 3>So many people talk about that with school getting back
<v Speaker 3>in session, and I'm sure that a lot of that
<v Speaker 3>could go for sure, is which.
<v Speaker 4>Would be awesome for us.
<v Speaker 3>I mean four hundred million right back into our economy
<v Speaker 3>would be huge for Denver and the surrounding areas.
<v Speaker 4>So fingers crossed.
<v Speaker 3>A final decision on that is expected later this year,
<v Speaker 3>so we should know something probably around the Christmas month.
<v Speaker 3>Thanksgiving and Christmas is when we should know a final decision.
<v Speaker 4>So there you go, Jerry, Katie and.
<v Speaker 1>Josh mix one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>All right, So coming up on the show, set those
<v Speaker 2>reminders seven thirty. We're about a half an hour away
<v Speaker 2>from fast five with some more good loot to give
<v Speaker 2>away a pair of tickets to see five Seconds of Summer.
<v Speaker 2>That'll be coming up. And uh, I was just looking
<v Speaker 2>at the forecast ninety eight today, which is gonna be
<v Speaker 2>epic bro for the Broncos playing tonight. It's gonna be
<v Speaker 2>a nice night for people to get out there and
<v Speaker 2>do some tailgating and get your drink on and fall
<v Speaker 2>down and break your nose. Oh, mixing a water maybe.
<v Speaker 3>Hey, yeah, exactly, taking a water easy with that heat.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, easy with the meat and the beer. Tonight. There
<v Speaker 2>fellas got of bro hugs this evening and so many
<v Speaker 2>faces really excited about the Broncos starting up. So that's
<v Speaker 2>going on tonight in the Mile High City, Katie was
<v Speaker 2>talking to me off the air because we're all in
<v Speaker 2>this pursuit to stay youthful and young, and I guess
<v Speaker 2>it all comes down to our hair now, h.
<v Speaker 4>And how you part it.
<v Speaker 3>Honestly, I don't know if you know this, guys, but
<v Speaker 3>when it comes to gen zers and millennials, there's a
<v Speaker 3>real big differentiating factor when it comes to what camp
<v Speaker 3>you lie in, right, Millennials have always said that it to,
<v Speaker 3>you know, a side part. So when you part your
<v Speaker 3>hair down the side, that is a true tale that
<v Speaker 3>you are a millennial. But if you do the middle part,
<v Speaker 3>you're a gen zer. And that's how they've always been
<v Speaker 3>able to tell you apart. Right, Well, now the gen
<v Speaker 3>zers are bringing back the side part and are confusing everybody.
<v Speaker 2>Oh lord, if.
<v Speaker 3>You want to look a little younger. The one who's
<v Speaker 3>starting it is Olivia Rodrie Go. She is making that
<v Speaker 3>side park cute again, and so is in Daya, Olivia Dean,
<v Speaker 3>Jenna Ortega, all of them.
<v Speaker 4>Showing up with side parts.
<v Speaker 2>The side you have to go so bad? Yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 3>They feel like, right, you know, there's definitely a good boundary.
<v Speaker 4>You don't want to go all the way.
<v Speaker 2>Over I'm a fan of the side. Sorry, they see
<v Speaker 2>the side park in middle school.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, so you get it, and can you side part now?
<v Speaker 2>No, I don't have enough hair.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, I'm starting.
<v Speaker 2>To try to get to grow back.
<v Speaker 3>Then.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's no secret. Nicole made fun of me last night.
<v Speaker 2>Actually she said you better go get hair plugs. That
<v Speaker 2>was after I made a comment about her.
<v Speaker 4>We'll see it exactly exactly, you asked.
<v Speaker 2>Fires back, like she hits me with that missile.
<v Speaker 3>What's funny about this is it's all about nostalgia, and
<v Speaker 3>I'm sure you can see it in a lot of
<v Speaker 3>different areas of our life.
<v Speaker 4>Gen z ers love it.
<v Speaker 3>They're bringing back a lot of different nineties friends. So
<v Speaker 3>this is part of that. The French tip nails, the
<v Speaker 3>rise jeans.
<v Speaker 4>I know you guys, let's go.
<v Speaker 2>But is that where you've been over and you see
<v Speaker 2>the whales tail? Yes it is, yeah, take me back.
<v Speaker 4>It is so yeah.
<v Speaker 3>If you see a lot more side parts out there,
<v Speaker 3>it's trendy, that's all right, Look at me, look at.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, you like fifteen minutes younger. All right, So
<v Speaker 2>I briefly want to talk about this chicken thing you
<v Speaker 2>were at last night. Give me a quick recap, because
<v Speaker 2>I do want to jump off and talk about something
<v Speaker 2>that happened there because Josh had to leave, so that
<v Speaker 2>is funny to me. But give me a rechar give
<v Speaker 2>me a quick recapble went down.
<v Speaker 3>Well, we were at Ilages, myself and Josh last night
<v Speaker 3>for chicken.
<v Speaker 4>Fight and burger brawl, and it was amazing.
<v Speaker 3>I guess this is like the fourth year I think
<v Speaker 3>they've had this, and they were talking about how like
<v Speaker 3>the first year there wasn't a whole lot of people
<v Speaker 3>and then it just kind of grew.
<v Speaker 4>Last night it was like elbow to elbow.
<v Speaker 3>Standing room only in the entire capacity of chicken so packed,
<v Speaker 3>and there were so many restaurants from around the Mile
<v Speaker 3>High City beyond that were there.
<v Speaker 4>To service their delicious chicken and burgers. And it was
<v Speaker 4>just phenomenal.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, did you participate in the wing eating? Did
<v Speaker 2>you did?
<v Speaker 4>How funny just.
<v Speaker 2>Did how many people participated in it? Okay? Was it
<v Speaker 2>like a stage and everything.
<v Speaker 3>There was like three heats of it and so the
<v Speaker 3>I think it was like eight per heat.
<v Speaker 4>And so I was in the first heat. I was
<v Speaker 4>the first contestant to go out on the stage.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, as it should be.
<v Speaker 3>They played my walk up song, which was a little
<v Speaker 3>justin Bieber Yummy.
<v Speaker 2>It was good. It's good.
<v Speaker 4>I wanted to pitch a song. We played also here
<v Speaker 4>a mixed one hundred to represent.
<v Speaker 3>But it's funny because I rolled in to this chicken
<v Speaker 3>wing eating contest and they told us to show up
<v Speaker 3>about fifteen minutes early, and we're all backstage and I'm
<v Speaker 3>looking around. I am one of three females in the
<v Speaker 3>entire thing, and there are like former linebackers back.
<v Speaker 2>Like the NFL. Like these were NFL players.
<v Speaker 5>I'm not kidding, these were actual, like brought those Jets players, yes,
<v Speaker 5>and then some basketball players like these guys were.
<v Speaker 3>God ready to eat chicken and I was like, well,
<v Speaker 3>clearly I'm not gonna win this thing. So at that point,
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, I just want to have fun, right because.
<v Speaker 4>I still wanted to eat all the stuff at the festival.
<v Speaker 3>So that's where I was like, I don't want to
<v Speaker 3>make myself sick on chicken wings and then not be
<v Speaker 3>able to eat any of the burgers or nachos or
<v Speaker 3>than any other stuff that they had. So my whole
<v Speaker 3>plan was to go out there and just kind of
<v Speaker 3>enjoy the chicken wings, because you know, when Josh and
<v Speaker 3>I had the dry run through, when we had a
<v Speaker 3>little practice round, I stuffed three wings in my face
<v Speaker 3>in a minute, and I was like, that's way too
<v Speaker 3>much bird.
<v Speaker 4>You know, like I just it's hard.
<v Speaker 2>How'd you do?
<v Speaker 3>So anyway, I was just trying to enjoy the wings though,
<v Speaker 3>and I wasn't trying to go like super fast, but
<v Speaker 3>I was still keeping pace with all these people, like
<v Speaker 3>apparently I was doing a really good job.
<v Speaker 2>It was impressive, like just from the.
<v Speaker 3>Crowd anyway, So like, yeah, at the end of it,
<v Speaker 3>in three minutes, I ate eat ten fast.
<v Speaker 4>Ways, it's really good.
<v Speaker 2>It's really good.
<v Speaker 3>And the whole thing was who could eat twenty fastest,
<v Speaker 3>and I was like, there's no way I'm gonna eat twenty.
<v Speaker 2>But there's like.
<v Speaker 4>The video of it is totally people.
<v Speaker 3>Taking the wings and pounding them on the table to
<v Speaker 3>get all the meat off and then shoving it all
<v Speaker 3>in their mouth and they're like intense, and then you
<v Speaker 3>have me over here do like just seriously like looking
<v Speaker 3>at the wing and taking pieces off. But I still
<v Speaker 3>kept peace with everybody.
<v Speaker 2>So at the end, and there was like a grand
<v Speaker 2>champion then or what did they get?
<v Speaker 5>So they got it's like a whole year's supply of
<v Speaker 5>the restaurants, well, the festivals that.
<v Speaker 4>They have in town.
<v Speaker 3>So the company, the dining out that had the chicken
<v Speaker 3>fest they also do like rare and big eats and.
<v Speaker 4>Stuff like that.
<v Speaker 3>So you get a pair of tickets to all of
<v Speaker 3>those food festivals and then some kind of gift card
<v Speaker 3>and everything.
<v Speaker 4>And that's the thing.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't know there was an actual prize up for grabs,
<v Speaker 3>and I felt because well, no, I was like want
<v Speaker 3>of a sponsor people.
<v Speaker 4>I didn't want to win. I felt like that would
<v Speaker 4>be a bad look.
<v Speaker 3>So then I was just like, I'm just gonna relax
<v Speaker 3>and take my time. But it was pretty fun, like
<v Speaker 3>I've never been in a chicken wing eating competition before
<v Speaker 3>and it was awesome.
<v Speaker 4>It was not like check that ouf to fuck it.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely yes, And.
<v Speaker 3>All the pictures are on our Instagram at Jeremy Katie
<v Speaker 3>Josh at Mixed one hundred Denver if you want to
<v Speaker 3>go check it out and see what.
<v Speaker 4>It was like, but I highly suggest you get in
<v Speaker 4>on this next year. It was good, so much fun
<v Speaker 4>and so much good food.
<v Speaker 2>I think the best moment for me though, coming in
<v Speaker 2>this morning and hearing about all this, and then Josh,
<v Speaker 2>who was slightly reluctant to go anyway, but he got
<v Speaker 2>out of there a little early because of a text
<v Speaker 2>that he got from his girlfriend. Uh huh, which literally
<v Speaker 2>made me lol because, bless her heart. What was the
<v Speaker 2>text that she sent you? Hey, it's my half birthday.
<v Speaker 3>We didn't celebrate today half birthday?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 9>What?
<v Speaker 2>How old is she? In her thirties? Right and half?
<v Speaker 2>She'sday and a half. She is in half birthday.
<v Speaker 5>So it's okay, yes, yeah, yeah, and she was on it.
<v Speaker 5>It's so funny. So the Chicken fight thing wasn't Denver,
<v Speaker 5>so I hung out with her before because I was like, hey,
<v Speaker 5>she lives really close to Elitch's, OK, I can just
<v Speaker 5>hang with her and then and then zip on over.
<v Speaker 5>So we hung out virtually the entire day before, did
<v Speaker 5>some fun things, grabbed lunch, walked around McGregor's square, beautiful day.
<v Speaker 5>And then I had to go to the Chicken fight thing,
<v Speaker 5>and I wanted to go with you and do a
<v Speaker 5>fun event and everything. And I get a text halfway
<v Speaker 5>through She's like, it's my half birthday and you didn't
<v Speaker 5>do anything for it. Like what I was like, you
<v Speaker 5>couldn't have brought this up earlier. That's the thing she
<v Speaker 5>didn't even realize. So I didn't realize you hang out.
<v Speaker 2>With her left and then she realized and then had
<v Speaker 2>to text.
<v Speaker 5>You yes, And that's when she was like, when you're done,
<v Speaker 5>come back over and we're celebrating my half birthday.
<v Speaker 2>So does that involve a gift or so that's the
<v Speaker 2>whole thing.
<v Speaker 5>Now, this weekend is now about her and her half
<v Speaker 5>birthday because I missed it charity, because.
<v Speaker 2>Miss find somebody else. So I love her. This is
<v Speaker 2>this is a list of I don't think this.
<v Speaker 10>Is gonna be.
<v Speaker 5>Is so good at celebrating others, So she deserves it,
<v Speaker 5>and I'm gonna make.
<v Speaker 2>This whole weekend. Deserves a half birthday. This is the
<v Speaker 2>dumbest thing on the planet.
<v Speaker 4>What do you mean reason dumbest? I don't think I
<v Speaker 4>think any half birthday.
<v Speaker 5>It's the same girl that gets the birthday month though
<v Speaker 5>it's the same thing. Six months ago it was her
<v Speaker 5>birthday month, and then yesterday was her half birthday.
<v Speaker 2>So I went about your future here, all right? And
<v Speaker 2>if this is the kind of future.
<v Speaker 4>That you want, No, Josh, you could be way worse.
<v Speaker 3>You take that half birthday and that is steaty.
<v Speaker 4>You embrace that, celebrate the birthday.
<v Speaker 5>I put a candle on a cookie, and I sang
<v Speaker 5>to her, I'm not kidding, you said.
<v Speaker 2>To her, you put a candle on a cookie.
<v Speaker 5>I put a birthday, a happy I went and got
<v Speaker 5>the birthday sash on her.
<v Speaker 2>I got it last night. And then we're going to.
<v Speaker 5>You're gonna sell me golfing for her birthday?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, she had a sash on. You had a happy birthday, sash.
<v Speaker 2>It's a birthday right now.
<v Speaker 4>You shouldn't be I think it's adorable.
<v Speaker 2>Collectively, we're still it's not horrible. It's pretty adorable.
<v Speaker 4>It's adorable. I think it's cute.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's needy, self centered, I think.
<v Speaker 4>Immature, none of those things.
<v Speaker 3>And I want to say, Josh, I like that you
<v Speaker 3>are appeasing her, like you're actually.
<v Speaker 4>Because he was to it, you know, yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Why every reason?
<v Speaker 11>Guy?
<v Speaker 2>Point? Then is it like it's my quarter birthday we're
<v Speaker 2>gonna get Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>It's my three quarter birthday.
<v Speaker 2>Across that bridge. When I forget about that one too? God,
<v Speaker 2>when does it? It never does I got a headache.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, the amount of messages coming in right
<v Speaker 2>now from women, which I'm so happy about, saying, oh
<v Speaker 2>my god, Josh a half birthday? Are you? Are you
<v Speaker 2>kidding me with this princess pilot that you're dating some
<v Speaker 2>of my favorite ones here, My wife, Nick Knak was listening.
<v Speaker 2>She goes, please tell me Josh was just making this
<v Speaker 2>half birthday thing up. Sorry, And I wrote back, Nope,
<v Speaker 2>I can't even And then she just sent back another
<v Speaker 2>one and he bought her a freaking sad got you
<v Speaker 2>gotta go all out. It was there with the candles.
<v Speaker 2>It was honestly a two for one.
<v Speaker 4>Oh hey, you guys are still together though, right, Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>She just wrote back. She just wrote back, I don't
<v Speaker 2>think Josh's girlfriend and I may get along. That's what said.
<v Speaker 2>I would like to publicly say I loved my wife
<v Speaker 2>very much and thank you very much for not making
<v Speaker 2>me celebrate half birthdays. And Josh, She's probably right. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if they're going to get along, buddy, So
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry. Lord help you, Lord, help you. You can talk. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>speaking of stuff going on, my god, I'm looking at
<v Speaker 2>the list of things going on this weekend. It is
<v Speaker 2>going to be a busy city. I'll tell you that
<v Speaker 2>much busy state. A busy state, You're right, Katie. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>first of all, is the Broncos game tonight. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>come on, everybody is talking about that. We got the
<v Speaker 2>flock party that's taken over the Denver Zoo. Yeah, Big
<v Speaker 2>Bounce America with the enormous inflatable attractions is going to
<v Speaker 2>be at the Denver Coliseum. Comic Con is going on
<v Speaker 2>in Colorado Springs. We got a Larry Walker statue unveiling.
<v Speaker 2>And then I know you're heading out to what palisade? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>is that what you're doing?
<v Speaker 4>The Peach Festival and I forgot that. It's also the
<v Speaker 4>Eleitha sweet Corn Festival. Sweet sweet Corn. It is with
<v Speaker 4>the sweet corn.
<v Speaker 3>And I love this festival because you get to roll
<v Speaker 3>into the festival grounds and they have all you can
<v Speaker 3>eat corn on the cop right, okay, like truckloads of
<v Speaker 3>corn on the cob.
<v Speaker 12>And then they have the world's largest slab of butter
<v Speaker 12>right there on the table and really you can go
<v Speaker 12>roll style so you can roll your corn in that
<v Speaker 12>butter along with everyone else in that part.
<v Speaker 2>Very sanitary at all.
<v Speaker 3>I have a whole table full of seasonings. I mean
<v Speaker 3>you could pick whatever you want. Cage and barbecue, I
<v Speaker 3>mean little range, well, ranch powder.
<v Speaker 4>You have everything on this table full of seasonings. And
<v Speaker 4>if you're a little germophobe like you, Jeremy, okay, so
<v Speaker 4>slab of butter. They also have the spray butter that
<v Speaker 4>you can put on your Okay, you know what I mean.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I'm thinking of this because I feel like at
<v Speaker 2>the corn festival, everybody's you know, eating the corn on
<v Speaker 2>the cob. Your hands are getting into it.
<v Speaker 4>And people are probably licking their fingers.
<v Speaker 2>Because they got butter all over, and then they walk
<v Speaker 2>back over it to the world's largest slab of butter,
<v Speaker 2>the bottles of season This disgusting.
<v Speaker 4>Best festival ever.
<v Speaker 3>And I forgot that it's going on at the same
<v Speaker 3>time as a Palisade peach festival, So I'll probably what.
<v Speaker 2>Do you rub your peaches on? There?
<v Speaker 4>Say, time between the peaches?
<v Speaker 2>That sounds inappropriate.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, I just love the food festivals in Colorado.
<v Speaker 2>That is I mean, I'm gonna tell you right now
<v Speaker 2>that is a huge difference between the two of us
<v Speaker 2>on this because you dies she will go to any
<v Speaker 2>food festival. She came to me with a list of
<v Speaker 2>food festivals the other week and she's like, do you
<v Speaker 2>want to go to all these with me? And I
<v Speaker 2>was like, hell's to the You're like, I am not
<v Speaker 2>a food festival.
<v Speaker 4>And you told me that, You're like, do you know
<v Speaker 4>me with the germs? I'm sorry, It's just the last
<v Speaker 4>place I want to be.
<v Speaker 2>Are we sponsoring any food festival? We are all the
<v Speaker 2>food festivals except but here's the thing.
<v Speaker 4>I call all of them for us, so they can't
<v Speaker 4>it covered.
<v Speaker 2>And roast me out. Generally, I can't talk about this and.
<v Speaker 3>I love it because I'm like because usually the festival
<v Speaker 3>is highlighting one specific food and that's why I like
<v Speaker 3>it because I usually love that food. I mean, I
<v Speaker 3>haven't been to a festival I don't like, so yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I'm just for me such a big fan. But hey,
<v Speaker 3>if you can't make it all the way over to
<v Speaker 3>a lath, I wanted to point out there is the
<v Speaker 3>Loveling Corn Roast Festival, Well.
<v Speaker 2>So, yeah, how much corn?
<v Speaker 4>Did you know? Boulder has the Taco Fest this weekend, Taco.
<v Speaker 2>Festo settle Down. I will not be at any of those,
<v Speaker 2>but I'll tell you right now. You might find me
<v Speaker 2>at the Big Bounce America with the inflatable bounce houses
<v Speaker 2>at the Denver Coliseum. You might find me there. Actually, no,
<v Speaker 2>I'm kidding. You know how gross those are too.
<v Speaker 4>You don't like that either?
<v Speaker 2>Bounce houses?
<v Speaker 4>What about the Unicorn Festival?
<v Speaker 2>What's that for you?
<v Speaker 3>The Rappaho County fair Grounds tomorrow and Sunday. So that's
<v Speaker 3>gonna have unicorns, mermaids, fairies, princesses, food trucks and face painters.
<v Speaker 4>There you go. There's Jeremy's festival, phone party.
<v Speaker 3>Slides, obstacle courses in Unicona, rescue derbies.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, I don't mean to sound like a gotchity s ob,
<v Speaker 2>but come on, I cannot be alone in this Monster Day.
<v Speaker 2>I can't be alone in camp No festivals, Monster Days.
<v Speaker 4>Fans only friendly, all things monster in downtown Greeley. Is
<v Speaker 4>that blow on your screen?

<v Speaker 2>Yes, yes, hurry, hurry, one of my favorites of all times, planes,
<v Speaker 2>trains and automobiles.
<v Speaker 9>Oh that was so good.
<v Speaker 7>I knew I was not going to be good at
<v Speaker 7>this that my kids begged me every day to call in.
<v Speaker 2>Your kids are going to be mad because you could
<v Speaker 2>have just said cars, which is a very famous Disney movie.
<v Speaker 4>That's right, Mikayla.

<v Speaker 2>what are you doing this weekend? Impress us?
<v Speaker 6>Uh?
<v Speaker 7>We My traddler's getting older, so we're switching car seats
<v Speaker 7>and cleaning out the car and getting ready for big
<v Speaker 7>boy seats.
<v Speaker 2>Isn't that the best feeling?
<v Speaker 13>It is?
<v Speaker 2>Actually, are you getting into like a booster? Then?
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, he's gone into a booster, my last one.
<v Speaker 2>And then it feels so good when you don't have
<v Speaker 2>to have the booster in there.
<v Speaker 7>Anymore, you know, yeah, yeah, we're away from that, but
<v Speaker 7>you're right, it does feel so good.
<v Speaker 2>One of my most favorite moments, and I've talked about
<v Speaker 2>this on the air, one of the best moments with
<v Speaker 2>having kids is when they can finally open the door
<v Speaker 2>by themselves, get in and buckle their own damn seatbelts.
<v Speaker 2>It is so big, Danielle. You're like, yes, I don't
<v Speaker 2>have to do that. That's so good.
<v Speaker 7>He's my fourth one, so I'm ready to never buckle
<v Speaker 7>a seatbelt that's not my own again.
<v Speaker 4>There you go.
<v Speaker 2>That's pretty darn funny, very funny.
<v Speaker 4>Parent's dream about it's amazing.
<v Speaker 2>All right, let's give you your fast five category. Now,
<v Speaker 2>this is traditionally. You can't just be making things up.
<v Speaker 2>But traditionally, I need a list of characters that are.
<v Speaker 7>Not cut for a second. A list of what I'm sorry, A.
<v Speaker 2>List of any kind of fictional character that is known
<v Speaker 2>for wearing a crown.
<v Speaker 7>Go character, Sophia, the first Cinderella, Yeah, yeah, Elena of
<v Speaker 7>avalor the Scary Lady's.
<v Speaker 2>What's the scary Lady? I don't know that one. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you got four. I think we'd have to look a
<v Speaker 2>couple of those up. But give me a Princess, Peter
<v Speaker 2>a King, Candy as well, Candy.
<v Speaker 7>This morning, Cady.
<v Speaker 2>I love that movie. Danielle, you got four? I think.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you so much for calling in with the kiddos.
<v Speaker 2>You have a great weekend.
<v Speaker 7>Thank you too.
<v Speaker 2>How do you pronounce your name? Snaw? Get off your speakerphone.
<v Speaker 2>I can't hear you.
<v Speaker 7>Ohry, I'm driving my confic.
<v Speaker 2>All right, try to get off your speakerphone. Are you there? Oh?
<v Speaker 2>I think you hung up? All right, guys, it's all right.
<v Speaker 2>Call back, buddy. Always get off your speakerphone and bluetooth you, guys,
<v Speaker 2>because then that'll happen you accidentally hang up. We can't
<v Speaker 2>hear you. I need to hear you to play fast
<v Speaker 2>five Hi, Kelly. J oh god, it's this Kelly. What
<v Speaker 2>you already called once this week?
<v Speaker 7>That was for something else.
<v Speaker 2>You've met your call quota for the week.
<v Speaker 15>Kelly.
<v Speaker 2>I can only stand so much of you.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, happy Friday, Kelly.
<v Speaker 2>He can take it. He can take it, Kelly. You
<v Speaker 2>know you know I love you, buddy so much. Can
<v Speaker 2>you hear us? Kelly? I feel like our phone connection
<v Speaker 2>sucks too.
<v Speaker 6>Must be you.
<v Speaker 14>I'm good, I'm good all day.
<v Speaker 2>See he just switched off your speakerphone, blue tooth, didn't you? Aha?
<v Speaker 14>Alright, Bluetooth you're a liar.
<v Speaker 2>All right, Kelly? What are you doing this weekend?
<v Speaker 14>I got a quarter birthday to go to.
<v Speaker 2>Now you can really never call again, never again.
<v Speaker 6>I had to pick on Josh a little bit.
<v Speaker 2>You know, the entire Denver Metro is picking on him
<v Speaker 2>this morning. Absolutely all right, Kelly, let's do some fast
<v Speaker 2>five with you. You fall in ten seconds? Give me
<v Speaker 2>five fictional characters that are ghosts. Go Casper, yep uh
<v Speaker 2>and that's it.
<v Speaker 6>Wimy, I'm the Ghostbusters.
<v Speaker 10>You got me?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Slimmer from the Ghostbusters, righty, Slimy. Kelly, it was
<v Speaker 2>nice talking to you. You have a great weekend. Right
<v Speaker 2>on JKJ later, buddy, you got Mark? Hi? Mark?
<v Speaker 7>Hey, what's going on?

<v Speaker 7>I'm awesome? Just drop my kids off of school?
<v Speaker 2>Well you're full of yourself, aren't you.
<v Speaker 4>It's all right, you know you're awesome. Mark, Yeah, preach,
<v Speaker 4>I'm awesome.
<v Speaker 2>Mark? What makes you so awesome?
<v Speaker 14>I gotta know?
<v Speaker 7>Uh, I don't know. That's what my daughter just says.
<v Speaker 2>Ah, we just got gooseball. So cute. What's your daughter's name?
<v Speaker 2>Give her a shout out? The cute? Super cute. What
<v Speaker 2>are you guys doing this weekend? Anything good?
<v Speaker 7>Well, they're going to their moms and I'm gonna go
<v Speaker 7>rock climbing.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, very nice. That sounds fun. Is that the one
<v Speaker 2>where you yell blay on? Is that what you do?
<v Speaker 15>I whisper it?
<v Speaker 6>Sure?
<v Speaker 4>Blay on?
<v Speaker 13>All right?
<v Speaker 2>My friend another one that came in from the listeners.
<v Speaker 2>You just a little bit of a theme going on
<v Speaker 2>here this morning. In ten seconds, I need a list
<v Speaker 2>of five fictional characters that use magic.
<v Speaker 3>Go Gandalf, Dumbledore, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger.
<v Speaker 2>I see what you did there.
<v Speaker 5>Shoot.
<v Speaker 2>Your daughter's gonna think you're super awesome now, buddy, really
<v Speaker 2>good old count Well, you know it doesn't count yet.
<v Speaker 2>It's not official. It's not official.
<v Speaker 7>Did I gotta say, Are you gonna play the Winnie
<v Speaker 7>Wayne song?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Yeah, you gotta say it, but you got to
<v Speaker 2>say my name for say my name Mark, say Jeremy
<v Speaker 2>play the Winny Win.
<v Speaker 7>Song, Jeremy, Will you play the winning Win song?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>With pleasure awesome, Mark bringing it home with the w Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>win on.
<v Speaker 4>Mark.
<v Speaker 2>You're a legend today in the Mile High City. I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna put you on hold, buddy. We're gonna tell you
<v Speaker 2>about your epic prize pack and you have a killer weekend, dude.
<v Speaker 14>Thank you so much.
<v Speaker 2>Jeremy Katy and Josh six one hundred yeah TGI Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>Happy Friday, everybody, Thanks for hanging out with Jeremy Katy
<v Speaker 2>and Josh Live in local at Alone Tree. All right,
<v Speaker 2>so we've got the band Camino coming in here on
<v Speaker 2>Monday for a little in studio performance. Who's our latest
<v Speaker 2>winner is going to join us Josh Sarah from Greeley,
<v Speaker 2>and she is pumped. She says, delightful. All Sarah's are delightful.
<v Speaker 2>If you'd like that second chance to try to win
<v Speaker 2>some tickets to come hang out here in the mixed
<v Speaker 2>studios on Monday, head on over to Mix one hundred
<v Speaker 2>dot com coming up at eight twenty. I'm I'm trying
<v Speaker 2>to decide if I want to switch gears for eight
<v Speaker 2>twenty today. Oh okay, well, maybe go back to Josh's
<v Speaker 2>goofy girlfriend with her half birthday, because so many people
<v Speaker 2>were fired up about that, and I almost just want
<v Speaker 2>to take some calls from people who are pro half
<v Speaker 2>birthday or anti half birthday. I'm thinking about it because
<v Speaker 2>I mean, the text line blew up with it.
<v Speaker 4>It did.
<v Speaker 2>We're fired up.
<v Speaker 3>I am defending your girlfriend because I am pro half birthday.
<v Speaker 2>I am, yeah, but you you're like an attention shut up.
<v Speaker 4>That's not it growing up.
<v Speaker 3>Her birthday was six months after mine, so mine was October.
<v Speaker 3>Mine's April thirteenth versus October thirteenth, so we would celebrate
<v Speaker 3>like and call it our half birthdays. And so then
<v Speaker 3>my kids started doing it, and I just thought it
<v Speaker 3>was something everybody did.
<v Speaker 4>So when you said you have to, I was like, Oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>the half birthday, you better go celebrate.
<v Speaker 2>Josh, yeah, I'm thinking about maybe doing that at A twenty.
<v Speaker 2>If people fired up about this, we'll see we're gonna
<v Speaker 2>flush it out. Text us if you want to, if
<v Speaker 2>you think that's gonna be good at eight twenty today
<v Speaker 2>three oh three, six nine one, sixteen forty nine. If
<v Speaker 2>you want to voice your opinion about the half birthday,
<v Speaker 2>I'd be happy to put you on the air really quick.
<v Speaker 2>I've lost my keys. I'd like to put this out
<v Speaker 2>there to the Mile High City. I've lost my keys.
<v Speaker 2>And it's got like this ariat leather keychain on it.
<v Speaker 2>It's really cool. It's one of my favorite keychains. It
<v Speaker 2>says Ariot on it. There's real leather. It smells like leather.
<v Speaker 2>I lost my keys about three weeks ago. Oh well,
<v Speaker 2>you had no idea. I can't get into anything. What
<v Speaker 2>keys there's well, there's house keys on there. There's my
<v Speaker 2>mailbox key. I can't get my mail. There's some other
<v Speaker 2>various keys that I have on there to like some
<v Speaker 2>safe and stuff I do not like you are the series.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I got key. It's like it's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of keys that I carry with me like a annotation engineer. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>oh yeah, like janitorial stuff. So if anyone has found
<v Speaker 2>my keys, I'd like them back. You've been so concerning
<v Speaker 2>using Nichole's keys, and that's really annoying because like if
<v Speaker 2>I need to get down to the mailbox or something,
<v Speaker 2>I've got to wait till she comes home and then
<v Speaker 2>I can use her key to get in the mailbox. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>so things are bad right now for me.
<v Speaker 4>I am so obsessive about.
<v Speaker 3>My keys, Like when I go to that night me too,
<v Speaker 3>Like they have to be in my purse. My purse
<v Speaker 3>is in my bedroom and they like sometimes I'll get
<v Speaker 3>up in the middle of the night panicked about my
<v Speaker 3>keys and I will go directly to my purse to
<v Speaker 3>make sure they're in there. So you just gave me,
<v Speaker 3>like so much anxiety mine.
<v Speaker 2>Going to special hook every night. There's the hook for
<v Speaker 2>my keys, for Nicknack's keys. There's some keys on there
<v Speaker 2>for like gates and stuff at the house. So how
<v Speaker 2>are you driving? There's keys for my son's car there.
<v Speaker 2>I have my car key. So this is what sometimes
<v Speaker 2>when I go into the gym, I don't want to
<v Speaker 2>bring my water of keys, right, so I click off
<v Speaker 2>my car key put it in my pocket because you
<v Speaker 2>don't need the key to start the car, right, So
<v Speaker 2>it's just the fob and I've got that. So that's
<v Speaker 2>thank god I have that because I only have one.
<v Speaker 4>Because that's the expensive key to effect.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, lay six entred bucks, so I no idea you guys,
<v Speaker 2>and it's a it's a horrible feeling. It's a really
<v Speaker 2>bad feeling. I know where yours are.
<v Speaker 3>I would be like up at night, I wouldn't be
<v Speaker 3>able to do anything.
<v Speaker 2>I'm constantly thinking about where my keys are. I got
<v Speaker 2>to ask you, was your dad Maybe it's a different
<v Speaker 2>time because I have I have a few keys on there,
<v Speaker 2>but I've definitely pared down, whereas I don't have that
<v Speaker 2>many because you don't need that many anymore. Growing up,
<v Speaker 2>my dad had a wat of keys on his keychain. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>he probably had seventy five keys on you.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you were important, right he had?
<v Speaker 2>So like, what did all these go to?
<v Speaker 4>And more keys you had.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody knows right you were.
<v Speaker 3>I'd like to have a lot of key chains just
<v Speaker 3>because it's hard for me to find it in my purse,
<v Speaker 3>like just grabbing it, because that's the thing I don't
<v Speaker 3>like look through my purse. I'm just feeling to try
<v Speaker 3>and find my keys. So now I have a big,
<v Speaker 3>fat chicken wing keychain and not hel set, so actually
<v Speaker 3>chicken wing. It's the size of a chicken wing too.
<v Speaker 3>It's like this big and it's easy to go in
<v Speaker 3>there and grab and find. But you'll see my keychain
<v Speaker 3>is pretty massive. But I also have the hook to
<v Speaker 3>where my car key and my house keys separate, because
<v Speaker 3>when I go on walks, yeah, I don't need the
<v Speaker 3>whole chicken wing and everything. I just need my house keys.
<v Speaker 4>So I take them off a lot. And so this
<v Speaker 4>is a fear of mine to lose my keys.
<v Speaker 2>No idea where they're at.
<v Speaker 4>Such a fear.
<v Speaker 3>Three weeks and you've looked everywhere, right everywhere, probably twenty.
<v Speaker 2>Times, and it's frustrating because yes, you go back to
<v Speaker 2>the same drawer fifteen times. You check that hook that
<v Speaker 2>I pay them on every night. You know, yep, still
<v Speaker 2>not there. They didn't magically walk back up the wall
<v Speaker 2>and hang themselves up. No, so anyway, uh again, ariat keychain.
<v Speaker 2>If anybody finds it, uh anywhere, please reach out to me.
<v Speaker 4>Side note, you are hanging your keys by your door? Still?
<v Speaker 2>Well yeah, right? Is that what I just heard? Well,
<v Speaker 2>it's near like the garage door. He locks his doors.
<v Speaker 2>It's okay.
<v Speaker 4>No, no, no.
<v Speaker 3>If somebody breaks into your house, that's the first thing
<v Speaker 3>they do is they take your keys.
<v Speaker 4>Now they have your cars, now they have a way
<v Speaker 4>into your house. No, don't do that. You keep it
<v Speaker 4>way far away from your door. Don't put your key.
<v Speaker 2>That is ridiculous. No, it's not. That's like that sounds inconvenient. Honestly,
<v Speaker 2>I don't have to worry about right now because my
<v Speaker 2>keys are probably laying into's parking lot or something. They
<v Speaker 2>ain't getting nothing from me, Katie, I don't have to
<v Speaker 2>worry about that at all. Okay, leather aariat keychain. It
<v Speaker 2>smells like leather watter keys. Reach out Jeremy at makes
<v Speaker 2>one hundred dot com if you wouldn't mind emailing me,
<v Speaker 2>Thank you well. Josh has been dating Prince, says pilot
<v Speaker 2>this new girl for how long?
<v Speaker 4>No, Boddy, like nine months.
<v Speaker 2>Right, uh yeah, yeah, about coming up on a year.
<v Speaker 2>This is a kind of a rack day for I've
<v Speaker 2>known Josh for a long time. What are we going
<v Speaker 2>on now, man? Six seven years?
<v Speaker 14>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, generally how many girls he goes through every week?
<v Speaker 2>Six seven, six seven?
<v Speaker 4>So come ont okay.
<v Speaker 2>Not too wrong. He's trying to defend Josh. Anyway. I've
<v Speaker 2>met this Princess Pilot a few times, and each time
<v Speaker 2>I meet her, I started getting different vibes from her
<v Speaker 2>each and every time. And then I heard this thing
<v Speaker 2>this morning about what she did to you yesterday. You
<v Speaker 2>want to explain what happened?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, it was just interesting to me because I was
<v Speaker 5>at the Chicken fight thing yesterday with Katie and in
<v Speaker 5>the middle of that, I got a text message and
<v Speaker 5>it was kind of like a sad, upset text message,
<v Speaker 5>and it was her realizing that yesterday was her half
<v Speaker 5>birthday and we didn't do anything for it, and it
<v Speaker 5>was almost on me for not remembering that it was
<v Speaker 5>her half birthday.
<v Speaker 2>Discuss I'm sorry out.
<v Speaker 5>And so I ended up having to kind of cut
<v Speaker 5>my time with Katie last night shorter, because in the
<v Speaker 5>moments of texting back and forth with her. We created
<v Speaker 5>a plan to go kind of celebrate her half birthirthday
<v Speaker 5>with some mini putt putt and some cookies that she
<v Speaker 5>likes and some candles and a birthday sash and hold
<v Speaker 5>up the.
<v Speaker 2>Sash, sash is my birthday? A half birthday sash. This
<v Speaker 2>is why I stayed calling her Princess Pilot, because she
<v Speaker 2>needs to be treated like a princess, and she does.
<v Speaker 2>I will she does be treated like a Now when
<v Speaker 2>does she get out of middle school? Today? Got to
<v Speaker 2>go pick her up at three fifteen. No, she's in
<v Speaker 2>her thirties, dude, she is. And so she's thirty so
<v Speaker 2>and a half and it's thirty and a half.
<v Speaker 4>You know my half birthdays.
<v Speaker 2>She's not even in her twenties. No, but you's got
<v Speaker 2>a three.
<v Speaker 5>This is the thing some people, it's a huge deal.
<v Speaker 5>And we have gotten text from both sides.
<v Speaker 2>It's so dumb. This is okay. I feel like I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna hurt some feelings. I know you.
<v Speaker 4>This is incredib lightly.
<v Speaker 2>Incredibly immature. It's to me, it screams immaturity and self centeredness.
<v Speaker 2>So why am I not doing it? But it's immature
<v Speaker 2>and it's very self centered to say it's my half birthday.
<v Speaker 2>Everybody may make this day all about me. Now I
<v Speaker 2>need two birthdays.
<v Speaker 5>I mean it. I think it's incredibly silly too, but
<v Speaker 5>I also think it's it's something that I will say
<v Speaker 5>a lot of women enjoy a lot of women do this.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, this is not the first time, because who
<v Speaker 5>does like to be celebrated.
<v Speaker 2>Once a year? It's special once a year. Once you
<v Speaker 2>start doing it twice a year, it's not special. When
<v Speaker 2>do we stop? When's your quarter birthday, my half birthday,
<v Speaker 2>my three quarter birthday, my real birthday, my birthday month,
<v Speaker 2>my birthday year.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, I mean, come on, step back and look at
<v Speaker 3>this from fifty thousand feet.
<v Speaker 4>It's stupid.
<v Speaker 2>We're not getting poor girl. She is not getting a
<v Speaker 2>lot of poor Princess. Listen, I know people are texting
<v Speaker 2>like crazy, call us try to defend this. Am I
<v Speaker 2>way off and Princess Pilot is onto something. I want
<v Speaker 2>to talk to you. It's a fun Friday show and
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry I called you immature. Three three three oh
<v Speaker 2>three six nine one sixteen forty nine. Phone lines are open,
<v Speaker 2>called get in my kitchen. Defend this? Can anybody defend it?
<v Speaker 2>Can half Careday. My wife texted in and she said,
<v Speaker 2>oh my god, please tell me this half birthday thing
<v Speaker 2>is made up? Did Josh make this up? And no,
<v Speaker 2>he didn't. And then and then she wrote in again
<v Speaker 2>and said, oh my god, he bought her a sash see, And.
<v Speaker 4>Here's my in my world.
<v Speaker 3>I'm just thinking, like, if you want to give something
<v Speaker 3>a label, as far as we're gonna hang out and
<v Speaker 3>celebrate something, I'm fine with that. If you're you know,
<v Speaker 3>enjoying each other's company, and if in that you know
<v Speaker 3>realm you're talking about how six months from now is
<v Speaker 3>your real birthday?
<v Speaker 4>I don't mind it. I guess this is what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe it's because I've had, you know, a little gen
<v Speaker 3>zer and I've had to raise her, and so I've
<v Speaker 3>dealt with this, like you know.
<v Speaker 2>You know what's funny even more to me is that
<v Speaker 2>it's not Josh going to Princess Pilot and saying, hey,
<v Speaker 2>it's you, it's your half birthday. It's kind of a
<v Speaker 2>cutesy thing, right for a boyfriend to acknowledge that and
<v Speaker 2>be like, hey, let's go out at your half birthday,
<v Speaker 2>you know, kind of in a silly fun way, it's her. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it's self proclamation right, Clearly she's done my half birthday.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, this has been a thing. Clearly this has been
<v Speaker 4>a thing.
<v Speaker 2>But bones are blown up. I want to talk to you, guys.
<v Speaker 2>I gotta play a quick song. We're gonna be back
<v Speaker 2>in about three minutes and thirty seconds, but please sound off.
<v Speaker 2>I want to hear your opinion. Am I way off base?
<v Speaker 2>And Princess Pilot is onto something. We're gonna try to
<v Speaker 2>zip through these people because I just want to take
<v Speaker 2>like a quick like poll on all this. Okay, so
<v Speaker 2>when you call in, let's be quick. Just say half yes,
<v Speaker 2>half no. And if you want to give a quick explanation,
<v Speaker 2>are you for the half birthday or against the half birthday?
<v Speaker 2>And I love the guy who went off about sashes
<v Speaker 2>just a minute ago in our text line that oh
<v Speaker 2>my god, she needed a sash, had some problems with
<v Speaker 2>sashes apparently, let's get your thoughts. Three oh three, six
<v Speaker 2>nine one, sixteen forty nine. Juliette, welcome to the show.
<v Speaker 2>Are you four or against the half birthday?
<v Speaker 11>Against it?
<v Speaker 2>Thank you very much? Really quick you want to tell
<v Speaker 2>us why it's silly?
<v Speaker 13>I've never heard of that, even being a girl, and
<v Speaker 13>I'm twenty eight. Never heard of that, never heard of
<v Speaker 13>anybody I've known that does stuff like that. I do
<v Speaker 13>have a question, though, Yeah, so does he know if
<v Speaker 13>this comes from like her childhood, like does her did
<v Speaker 13>her parents do this for her? Or was this something
<v Speaker 13>that started when she became an adult?
<v Speaker 2>You know what, I think it's like a tradition thing.
<v Speaker 2>I think it is.
<v Speaker 5>It was made a big deal as a child, so
<v Speaker 5>now it's made a big deal as an adult.
<v Speaker 3>You know.
<v Speaker 2>There you Goeh, all right, Juliet, we have you down
<v Speaker 2>for no it's silly. Thank you for being the voice
<v Speaker 2>of reason. Kevin, Hey, well.
<v Speaker 16>I'm definitely against it. I think it's ridiculous, but I
<v Speaker 16>have a slightly different take on it. Okay, my birthday
<v Speaker 16>is in January, in the middle of January, and it's
<v Speaker 16>the worst possible time to have a birthday. So about
<v Speaker 16>twenty years ago, I was thinking, I freaking hate my birthdays.
<v Speaker 16>January nineteenth. Yeah, and then I was like, dude, you're
<v Speaker 16>a grown ass man. You can celebrate your birthday whenever.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah.
<v Speaker 16>I chance to June nineteenth and called it Kevin, fast,
<v Speaker 16>did you do It's not every year.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, I like to.
<v Speaker 16>Say, Kevin Fast is an annual event that takes place
<v Speaker 16>every four to six years.
<v Speaker 2>But in general, you're you're you're no, you're in camp.
<v Speaker 14>No, No, it's freaking ridiculous.
<v Speaker 2>It's freaking ridiculous, Kevin. Thank you very much for your vote. Judy,
<v Speaker 2>what's your vote for the half birthday?
<v Speaker 6>I'm against the way that she is doing it, but
<v Speaker 6>not against the actual just giving yourself joy.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so yes on giving yourself joy. Thank you. I
<v Speaker 2>put you in camp. Yes, here is Brian. Brian, welcome
<v Speaker 2>to the show.
<v Speaker 14>Thank you.
<v Speaker 2>Half birthday? Yes or no?
<v Speaker 6>Oh?
<v Speaker 14>Definitely no, I agree with you. So it's like, when
<v Speaker 14>will it end? I know, three quarter birthday, you know,
<v Speaker 14>half birthday, you know, three quarters whatever, Just like when
<v Speaker 14>will end? It won't.
<v Speaker 2>This is my January birthday, it's my February birthday, it's
<v Speaker 2>my Mark's birthday. You know you're right, I will never
<v Speaker 2>end brand.
<v Speaker 14>When I was born on this day of this month.
<v Speaker 14>We're going to celebrate that.
<v Speaker 2>Everyone, right, I was born on the twenty first. Everything
<v Speaker 2>twenty one is about me. Brian. I have your vote.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you so much. Martha, Welcome to the show. Half birthday,
<v Speaker 2>yes or no?
<v Speaker 11>Yes, And it's literally because my daughter is born in
<v Speaker 11>December and you can't really throw birthday party in December. Yeah,
<v Speaker 11>we do a private party for her.
<v Speaker 2>Oh that's ridiculous, member, and.
<v Speaker 11>Then a public one for her friends and everybody in June.
<v Speaker 2>Was she born on Christmas?
<v Speaker 7>Why is it?
<v Speaker 11>Why is there a bad things to pay things? There's
<v Speaker 11>literally like national donut Day National.
<v Speaker 9>Why can't we just celebrate.
<v Speaker 2>A birthday because I don't have to put a sash
<v Speaker 2>on when it's donut Day. Reach Martha three three six
<v Speaker 2>nine one sixteen forty nine, Martha, we appreciate your vote.
<v Speaker 2>Here is Peggy? Peggy?
<v Speaker 4>Yes or no?
<v Speaker 2>On the half birthday?
<v Speaker 15>Well, I'm kind of half in half and I think.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, you got to pick a side.
<v Speaker 15>Well, the way she's doing it, I would say no
<v Speaker 15>because when my kids were little, I never heard of
<v Speaker 15>a half birthday. But their grandma was never able to
<v Speaker 15>see the kids until summer, and they were born in
<v Speaker 15>the winter, so every summer when she saw them, she
<v Speaker 15>would celebrate their half birthday and make a cake.
<v Speaker 2>That's a little different than a girlfriend proclaiming, yeah, this
<v Speaker 2>is my half birthday, give me a sash and I
<v Speaker 2>think you put a candle in a cook you.
<v Speaker 5>Hit the nail on the head when they were little,
<v Speaker 5>when they were little as kiddos.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm gonna put her in yes though, because I
<v Speaker 2>feel like she was a yes. All right, thank you, Peggy.
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to squeeze two more in on our little pole. Here, Dean,
<v Speaker 2>for the half birthday or against it?
<v Speaker 6>Completely against it, that's lame.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you for your vote, sir, Thank you for summing
<v Speaker 2>it up fantastic. Here is Amber Hi, Amber.
<v Speaker 6>Hi, Okay, Dean, I'm yes, and this is actually Princess
<v Speaker 6>Pilot Jerepine. Oh yeah, I wanted to say, I don't
<v Speaker 6>think it's ridiculous to want a sash and celebrate my
<v Speaker 6>half birthday and have one thing made out of pine
<v Speaker 6>like you get on a half birthday. Gosh, if you
<v Speaker 6>think we're going to do that special stuff in the
<v Speaker 6>bedroom on your birthday, you have another thing coming. And
<v Speaker 6>I'm no longer going to rent out the Regal theater
<v Speaker 6>for you so we can have a special screening of
<v Speaker 6>Biodome starring College.
<v Speaker 2>And we will leave it there. The consensus is no,
<v Speaker 2>don't ever do it. Sports really quick, ladies, if you're
<v Speaker 2>looking for your husbands and your busy friends. I guess
<v Speaker 2>today is like national fantasy football draft dates, where all
<v Speaker 2>the guys get together and make their picks and try
<v Speaker 2>to avoid their wives and girlfriends for many, yeah, forever,
<v Speaker 2>hopefully here's your fun song. Yeah you're right, Bill Assume.
<v Speaker 5>Oh yeah, you can say about it insignificant others.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, ah, this bump dudes, Good for you, guys.
<v Speaker 5>What else is going on, Joss, he'son quiet. We got
<v Speaker 5>to talk about what the frick happened in Tennessee last night.
<v Speaker 5>A sixteen year old girl stormed the field of a
<v Speaker 5>middle school football game and absolutely clocks a player down there.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know why.
<v Speaker 5>I've looked everywhere to see if like a scuffle happened
<v Speaker 5>and it was her brother or something.
<v Speaker 2>I can't figure out what happened.
<v Speaker 5>It was right after the opposing team, uh scored a
<v Speaker 5>touchdown and they were following the next play, and she
<v Speaker 5>comes out of the stands and just flatlines this person
<v Speaker 5>like close lines destroys this little kid. And then after
<v Speaker 5>the kid tries to get up, she pushes him down again.
<v Speaker 5>So then the coaches run on the field and the
<v Speaker 5>referees stop the game and.
<v Speaker 2>She gets escorted off.
<v Speaker 5>The police were called and she is now being arrested
<v Speaker 5>on assault and disorderly Condoctly, this is a big deal. Like,
<v Speaker 5>she is a sixteen year old girl kind of ruining
<v Speaker 5>her life here.
<v Speaker 2>She hopped up on something. I don't know. Her parents
<v Speaker 2>were at the Gummy Bears. She's like, what you say
<v Speaker 2>by my mom? She's not in jail anymore. What the
<v Speaker 2>heck happened?
<v Speaker 5>She destroys this dude, Like this poor little eighth grader
<v Speaker 5>has no idea what's coming. Don't worry. No injuries are reported.
<v Speaker 5>He was in full football pad.
<v Speaker 2>So I don't know why bring it?
<v Speaker 8>Bring it.
<v Speaker 4>She laid him out.
<v Speaker 2>I mean just his pride getting laid out by a girl.
<v Speaker 2>But I mean the tackling form honestly was superb. She
<v Speaker 2>crushed it. Let's get her on the coaching staff with me.
<v Speaker 2>I'm getting on a team, I mean and hired.
<v Speaker 1>Please, you thought you'd heard it all.
<v Speaker 2>Just when you think you've seen everything, not even close.
<v Speaker 1>Who's spiraling, who's getting canceled? What's the local buzz?
<v Speaker 4>What can we expect?
<v Speaker 1>We're diving headfirst into the chaos. It's the mile.
<v Speaker 2>High height Yeah, what's what's what's up.
<v Speaker 1>With jkj on Nix one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Well, there was a time where I sat down with
<v Speaker 2>sweet nick Knack, my wife, and we watched every damn
<v Speaker 2>season of Dancing with the Stars. Oh yeah, haven't in
<v Speaker 2>a while, but I might be back because I know
<v Speaker 2>she's a fan, and I'm a fan too of Julia Stiles,
<v Speaker 2>and they're saying that she's gonna be a part of
<v Speaker 2>season thirty five. The whole rumor mill is going right
<v Speaker 2>now for the so called celebrities they're gonna be on
<v Speaker 2>Dancing with the Stars. But I know Ten Things I
<v Speaker 2>Hate About You is one of Nicknack's most favorite movies,
<v Speaker 2>and Save the Last Dance as one of mine. So yeah,
<v Speaker 2>Julius Stiles maybe on the thirty fifth season of Dancing
<v Speaker 2>with the Stars. I think they're thirty five me good
<v Speaker 2>coming out September fifteenth, So that's kind of really exciting. Actually,
<v Speaker 2>I love her. Yeah. There is a story about Harrison
<v Speaker 2>Ford out this morning, and I'm always found this funny
<v Speaker 2>that he's made it no secret that he is sick
<v Speaker 2>of the Indiana Jones song. He's made jokes about that
<v Speaker 2>stupid song is following me everywhere I go. But he
<v Speaker 2>was recently on Sesame Street and I was tuning in
<v Speaker 2>with the entire cast of Shrinking, which is one of
<v Speaker 2>my favorite TV shows, which side note, Shrinking is not
<v Speaker 2>a kids show, so I'm surprised they had the whole
<v Speaker 2>cast on Sesame Street. Anyway, he's making the rounds on
<v Speaker 2>the socials today because Harrison Ford shared a cookie with
<v Speaker 2>Cookie Monster, and you want to hear what happened as Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna tell you if you see the video, Like
<v Speaker 2>he actually gets really into it. So it is like
<v Speaker 2>the cute factor of like eight point seven on that.
<v Speaker 2>And why does the beginning of that sound like every
<v Speaker 2>time I have to listen to Katie eat, well, I'm.
<v Speaker 4>When I eat, I do that though there may be
<v Speaker 4>a little bit of that though.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, Boosted skirts they're a problem for police apparently, do
<v Speaker 3>you know what these are?
<v Speaker 4>Boosted skirts?
<v Speaker 3>So apparently folks are going into retail establishments with skirts
<v Speaker 3>that are pretty big and then stealing things by putting
<v Speaker 3>them underneath them. So the Douglas County Sheriff's Office they
<v Speaker 3>are dealing with this specifically, and they've called them the
<v Speaker 3>boosted skirt band.
<v Speaker 2>How big are we can walk out with them, you
<v Speaker 2>can see well.
<v Speaker 3>No, but you maybe be able to hide a trainer
<v Speaker 3>under there, depending on the circumference of your skirt. But again,
<v Speaker 3>think of like a hula hoop around somebody's skirt on
<v Speaker 3>the bottom where it's close to the floor, and then
<v Speaker 3>that coming all the way up to somebody's waist. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>that's a good amount of surface area to be able
<v Speaker 3>to put things in there. And they've got pockets and
<v Speaker 3>all kinds of things that strategically hold those things in
<v Speaker 3>place too. So if you were just looking at somebody
<v Speaker 3>with one of these skirts, you wouldn't know that there's
<v Speaker 3>like thousands of dollars worth.
<v Speaker 4>Of merchandise cookies. So well, yeah, here's the thing.
<v Speaker 3>Walgreens specifically being targeted because of the makeup. Makeup is expensive,
<v Speaker 3>especially if you buy it at Walgreens, and they honestly
<v Speaker 3>are really having to crack down on that specifically. They
<v Speaker 3>say retail theft in Colorado is a one point three
<v Speaker 3>billion dollar industry with a be guys, So not only
<v Speaker 3>will they have these skirts, but they'll have a lookout person,
<v Speaker 3>so they'll have a person take the item and conceal
<v Speaker 3>it and get out of the store as somebody else
<v Speaker 3>is completely taking the attention away from them. So they
<v Speaker 3>are being a distraction. And so this is a whole
<v Speaker 3>theft ring. I theft ring in the Metro area.
<v Speaker 4>I don't think you realize.
<v Speaker 3>So like when they do, like they're like, hey, we've
<v Speaker 3>got a spill over here, can you come help me
<v Speaker 3>do this?
<v Speaker 4>Like they are very very first, it's not and it
<v Speaker 4>is very.
<v Speaker 3>Effective, and they're getting people's you know, I mean, it's
<v Speaker 3>really causing a problem.
<v Speaker 4>So that's what they're saying.
<v Speaker 2>I'm glad you told me that there's pockets. Think there's
<v Speaker 2>pockets over there, because I thought for sure they were
<v Speaker 2>shoving mascaratt in their butt cracks. No clinching. They sound
<v Speaker 2>like when they clinch.
<v Speaker 1>But she's got the mic, the moxie, and a brand
<v Speaker 1>full of doctor Philery runs.
<v Speaker 2>She's all, we walk the duck on a joom bug.
<v Speaker 6>But can you take down Katie in pop culture?
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown? This is Katie Crush?
<v Speaker 2>Yes, can you do it? That is the big question.
<v Speaker 2>Gina made her way in Hi Gina, good morning.
<v Speaker 7>Good morning.
<v Speaker 2>Well how do you do tell us? Are you good?
<v Speaker 2>We'll tell us all about yourself.
<v Speaker 9>Gina, I am a single mom. I got my daughter, Dylan,
<v Speaker 9>and we're just a love and radio station hoping to
<v Speaker 9>win some tickets or something in the film the last
<v Speaker 9>few days of summer.
<v Speaker 2>Oh that's awesome. Well, thank you for working so hard
<v Speaker 2>and being a good mom. Do you have a job,
<v Speaker 2>do you How do you get a patriot?
<v Speaker 9>I definitely have a job. I'm a head hunt arts,
<v Speaker 9>do recruiting.
<v Speaker 2>Oh nice, Yeah, can you get Katie a job? We
<v Speaker 2>want to We've been trying to get her out of here.
<v Speaker 9>Noble.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Josh and I are over it. Josh and I
<v Speaker 2>want her out of here.
<v Speaker 9>I don't know if you guys, I don't know if
<v Speaker 9>you guys could could hold hold down the floor without her.
<v Speaker 2>No, if I were to put if somebody were to
<v Speaker 2>call me and ask for a recommendation, the only thing
<v Speaker 2>I'd say about Katie is difficult to work with.
<v Speaker 4>You would say she brings snacks because I do.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, no, no, no, Gina, Gina, she smells like snacks.
<v Speaker 4>Well maybe I do a little bit. It's smell.
<v Speaker 2>Oh good, all right, g I'm gonna give you and
<v Speaker 2>Katie the same five questions. Best out of five wins
<v Speaker 2>ties go to will old stinky snacks over there, because uh,
<v Speaker 2>she made up the rules. So Katie, get out of here,
<v Speaker 2>go in the next room.
<v Speaker 3>First, I want to say, Gen, I know how hard
<v Speaker 3>it is being a single mom, so I hope you.
<v Speaker 11>Win again this guys.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, goode of course, because she can't hold out a
<v Speaker 2>man because she smells like snacks, Gina, And she's difficult,
<v Speaker 2>she's difficult to be. Yeah, right, Josh, I'm gonna plead
<v Speaker 2>the fifth on this one. All right, Gina, she goes
<v Speaker 2>into the next room or she can't hear anything, and
<v Speaker 2>I come up with the questions, so there's no cheating.
<v Speaker 2>We'll find out if you're right or wrong once we
<v Speaker 2>bring her back in. So let's go ahead and give
<v Speaker 2>you your first question. Tell me what pizza company had
<v Speaker 2>an annoying mascot called Thenoyed.
<v Speaker 10>Thenoy, Little Caesars, Little See Beizza Pizza.
<v Speaker 2>Here's your second question. What Netflix show gave us the
<v Speaker 2>character named crazy Eyes?
<v Speaker 9>Oh my god, Uh, stranger Things.
<v Speaker 7>This is terrible.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so far, not so good. Here is your third question, Gina.
<v Speaker 2>One in ten people born in Europe are conceived on
<v Speaker 2>beds made by which famous home furniture brand furniture, got
<v Speaker 2>one here in Colorado.
<v Speaker 7>Ow Ikea.
<v Speaker 2>Put you down for Ikea. Now you're thinking about everybody
<v Speaker 2>getting freaky on an Ikea. I know, stop it, stop
<v Speaker 2>it right now? You have children in the car. Oh go,
<v Speaker 2>please tell me. Uh. Nintendo released this portable handheld gaming
<v Speaker 2>console in nineteen eighty nine video game history.
<v Speaker 9>Oh Nintendo?
<v Speaker 2>Are you sure you want to make that your answer?
<v Speaker 7>I don't know?
<v Speaker 2>Whitch and your final question? The inventor of the chocolate
<v Speaker 2>chip cookie is credited to what food company?
<v Speaker 7>Nastly?
<v Speaker 2>All right, we'll bring a so stinky lady in here.
<v Speaker 2>I know right, she loves us. Hi, Katie, we were
<v Speaker 2>just talking about how great you are. Are you ready
<v Speaker 2>to play Katie Crush? All right? Oh lord help us Katie.
<v Speaker 2>What pizza company had an annoying little mascot called the Noyd?
<v Speaker 4>Is that Dominoes?
<v Speaker 5>Yes?
<v Speaker 2>Don't like remember the Noid?
<v Speaker 13>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, sorry, Gina, you said little Caesars?
<v Speaker 4>Out Caesar?
<v Speaker 2>That's Caesar?
<v Speaker 14>Yeah, Katie.
<v Speaker 2>What Netflix show gave us the character named crazy Eyes?
<v Speaker 5>Oh?
<v Speaker 4>The prison one? It's uh just the New Black right?
<v Speaker 6>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Gina, you said Stranger Things. Katie knows this one
<v Speaker 2>because she's been in jail.
<v Speaker 14>You know that.
<v Speaker 9>That's her, that's her homie.
<v Speaker 2>That's crazy eyes, Katie. And I'm not even making the
<v Speaker 2>jail thing up, all right, Katie. One in ten people
<v Speaker 2>born in Europe are conceived on beds made by which
<v Speaker 2>famous home furniture brand?
<v Speaker 1>What?
<v Speaker 10>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Like lights?
<v Speaker 4>Do they have an American furniture warehouse in London?
<v Speaker 2>Gina nailed it, though, and nailed it. Get it? I can't.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like I feel like the Ikea furniture really
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't hold up. Maybe I don't know, just come apart, uh, Katie.
<v Speaker 2>Nintendo released a portable handheld gaming console back in eighty nine,
<v Speaker 2>changing video game history forever.
<v Speaker 3>Oh is it a game Boy?
<v Speaker 9>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Oh the old game boy, Gina said. The switch said yeah,
<v Speaker 2>the game Boy was yeah, really old, all right, Katie.
<v Speaker 9>Uh.
<v Speaker 2>The inventor of the chocolate chip cookie is credited to
<v Speaker 2>what food company?
<v Speaker 4>The Keybler Elves Keybloyer.
<v Speaker 2>No, Gina, you got it right with nessa toehol.
<v Speaker 9>I don't know how I'm doing here though.
<v Speaker 2>Her name was Ruth something. I think little Ruth makes cookie. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>So Katie, oh you got three, Gina, you got two.
<v Speaker 4>You're in a good mood right there. No, I don't
<v Speaker 4>think you fun today, good mad I.
<v Speaker 2>Am in a good mood and you're a hard working mom,
<v Speaker 2>so I'm gonna give you the prize anyway.
<v Speaker 9>When yay, Thank you guys.
<v Speaker 2>Go take your kiddo out to a movie on us,
<v Speaker 2>and yeah, go enjoy that snack pass girl.
<v Speaker 9>Allright, awesome, thank you guys. We love you.
<v Speaker 4>Have great school, Dylan.
<v Speaker 2>Bye bye, all I'm gonna put you on hold, don't
<v Speaker 2>go anywhere, and we'll come back and tell you all
<v Speaker 2>about your prize. Katie, you lait it again.
