<v Speaker 1>over 43,000 was the number of tickets distributed for Sunday.

<v Speaker 1>So it's going to be a healthy crowd. And I'm

<v Speaker 1>sure it's going to end up being a great show.

<v Speaker 1>I cannot say the same for this go-home show. They

<v Speaker 1>were in Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland here for the final Dynamite.

<v Speaker 1>A show that was taped earlier in the day. A

<v Speaker 1>show that actually ended on time for the first time

<v Speaker 1>in a while. Not a very exciting show. I also

<v Speaker 1>didn't know what to make of going to Glasgow. You

<v Speaker 1>would think, you know, I think this was the first

<v Speaker 1>Dynamite that they've had there. Usually when they go to

<v Speaker 1>these different places, the crowd is, you know, really hot.

<v Speaker 1>It makes for a really loud atmosphere. Pretty standard stuff.

<v Speaker 1>I'm sure the people there were very happy to get

<v Speaker 1>some action coming to town, but it didn't really feel

<v Speaker 1>like a different Dynamite outside of the hard cam shot,

<v Speaker 1>which was panned out, looked a little bit different that way.

<v Speaker 1>But I'm puzzled by the choice to go with Swerve

<v Speaker 1>Strickland and Jack Perry in the main event, given that

<v Speaker 1>Jack Perry does not even have a match coming up

<v Speaker 1>on the pay-per-view on Sunday, and Swerve is likely going

<v Speaker 1>to be involved with multiple other teams that in whatever

<v Speaker 1>this multi-team trios championship match is going to be. But

<v Speaker 1>they went one-on-one in the show-closing match. That was the

<v Speaker 1>final match we had on tonight's show. I'm not sure

<v Speaker 1>why they had a good match. Can't say anything bad

<v Speaker 1>about the match itself. I'm just not sure why that

<v Speaker 1>had to be the main event here on The Last

<v Speaker 1>Dynamite before All In. I thought that was very weird.

<v Speaker 1>We had Will Ospreay on the show. He will be

<v Speaker 1>walking out of Wembley at the end of this weekend

<v Speaker 1>as the AEW World Champion. No Kenny Omega, though. The

<v Speaker 1>champion himself, not on the show tonight. We have the

<v Speaker 1>two semifinal round matches in the Continental Cup. Jon Moxley

<v Speaker 1>and Claudio Castagnoli, the two Death Riders, going one-on-one. And

<v Speaker 1>then Nigel McGuinness, also in action, going one-on-one with Kyle O'Reilly.

<v Speaker 1>The former being the weaker of the two. Actually, no,

<v Speaker 1>the former being the stronger of the two matches. Moxley

<v Speaker 1>and Claudia would have been a good match to close on.

<v Speaker 1>To be honest with you, that should have been the

<v Speaker 1>main event of this show. But we now know what

<v Speaker 1>the finals are going to be. We will talk about

<v Speaker 1>that because we will go match by match, segment by segment,

<v Speaker 1>and I have a feeling we're going to get you

<v Speaker 1>out of here very quickly. That's what I think. Because

<v Speaker 1>Excalibur and we had Tony Schiavone on commentary. Two-man team tonight,

<v Speaker 1>which was nice. Will Ospreay was the first one out.

<v Speaker 1>The challenger for the world championship on Sunday. Big ovation

<v Speaker 1>here in Glasgow. Said a lot has happened. since the

<v Speaker 1>last time he was here with everybody. Because he had

<v Speaker 1>his neck surgery, and when he had the neck surgery,

<v Speaker 1>he questioned whether or not he could do this anymore.

<v Speaker 1>He questioned whether or not he could still win the

<v Speaker 1>big one. As a British wrestler, he used to make

<v Speaker 1>the towns here, up and down the roads in England

<v Speaker 1>and Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland. Then he put over the

<v Speaker 1>names of some of the UK wrestlers that he learned

<v Speaker 1>from and he worked with over the years, Mark Haskins

<v Speaker 1>and Doug Williams. and some who are no longer with us,

<v Speaker 1>like Chris Travis and Lionheart. When you mention the best

<v Speaker 1>in the world, it's hard not to mention the reigning

<v Speaker 1>AEW world champion, Kenny Omega, who he said was not

<v Speaker 1>here tonight. The crowd did not like that. There's no

<v Speaker 1>one he looks up to more than Omega, but all

<v Speaker 1>that respect went out the window the moment that he

<v Speaker 1>mentioned Ospreay's son. He mentions this. Completely ignoring and not

<v Speaker 1>mentioning the fact that he was dumped on his head

<v Speaker 1>through a table last week with a one-winged angel. That

<v Speaker 1>never came up. But he mentioned his son last week

<v Speaker 1>at the end of their face-to-face promo. And so that

<v Speaker 1>stuck with him. Said this Sunday Omega is getting the

<v Speaker 1>Billy Goat. He intends to fulfill the promise that you

<v Speaker 1>don't fuck with a man who is looking after a boy.

<v Speaker 1>Is that an expression? I'm not aware of that being

<v Speaker 1>an expression, but I guess it is. There's a debt

<v Speaker 1>that needs to be paid, and for those who have

<v Speaker 1>been with him from the start, his parents, his wife,

<v Speaker 1>his son, it's time to bring it home. Omega will

<v Speaker 1>help Osprey show his boy that heroes are just ordinary

<v Speaker 1>people who can do extraordinary things. So the usual fired

<v Speaker 1>up Will Osprey promo. Been that way really the last

<v Speaker 1>several weeks. Every time he cuts a promo about this match,

<v Speaker 1>he gets all fired up and talks about what this

<v Speaker 1>means to him and how this is his moment, this

<v Speaker 1>is his opportunity. It was more of the same here.

<v Speaker 1>I feel like I've heard some variation of the same

<v Speaker 1>promo now for at least three weeks in a row.

<v Speaker 1>I thought this was fine. I didn't think it was

<v Speaker 1>as strong, though, as his part last week in that

<v Speaker 1>face-to-face that they taped in the back. I thought that

<v Speaker 1>was better. I will say this, though. They did some

<v Speaker 1>good stuff on their socials. If you are not following

<v Speaker 1>them on social media... And I would imagine it's on

<v Speaker 1>their YouTube channel as well. But they had some segments

<v Speaker 1>with Osprey, one of which was with his mother. They

<v Speaker 1>were sitting in, I think, one of his old classrooms

<v Speaker 1>or something. And she cuts a pretty good promo herself.

<v Speaker 1>But I thought those segments were very well done. So

<v Speaker 1>if you have a few minutes to spare, I would

<v Speaker 1>go ahead and check that out. I thought those were

<v Speaker 1>pretty good. But no Kenny Omega tonight, which was disappointing.

<v Speaker 1>He wasn't in Mexico for Grand Slam. He wasn't in Glasgow.

<v Speaker 1>For Dynamite tonight. You know who was here though? You

<v Speaker 1>know who was there on both of those shows? The

<v Speaker 1>true champion. MJF. He was there. Both times. With his belt.

<v Speaker 1>We had the Battle of the Death Riders. With Jon

<v Speaker 1>Moxley against Claudio Castagnoli in the semifinals of the Continental Cup.

<v Speaker 1>The winner goes on to Wembley Stadium on Sunday. Once

<v Speaker 1>Moxley beat Jay White. in the tournament last week. It

<v Speaker 1>was very apparent that he was going to the finals.

<v Speaker 1>I thought, I mean, it was probably apparent to most

<v Speaker 1>people even then. I was holding out hope maybe Jay

<v Speaker 1>White would win, they would have an upset here in

<v Speaker 1>the tournament, and they went the predictable route, and it

<v Speaker 1>was like, all right, well, if he won this match,

<v Speaker 1>he's not losing either at all, or at least until

<v Speaker 1>he goes to the finals. So for me anyway, there

<v Speaker 1>was no real drama here. Now, Claudio also beat Moxley

<v Speaker 1>the last time they wrestled, which was in December in

<v Speaker 1>the Continental Classic. So this was Moxley's opportunity to get

<v Speaker 1>that win back. He has been undefeated this year, at

<v Speaker 1>least in singles matches. I don't believe he's lost a

<v Speaker 1>singles match all year. It was not going to change

<v Speaker 1>here tonight. Excalibur mentioned Eddie Kingston not being medically cleared

<v Speaker 1>to wrestle Claudio on Saturday. and getting bumped from the tournament,

<v Speaker 1>and he wished him well in his recovery, which I

<v Speaker 1>thought was hilarious, given the fact that Eddie Kingston is

<v Speaker 1>still scheduled to be wrestling Hechicero on Friday at the

<v Speaker 1>CMLL show. So evidently, whatever this injury is or medical

<v Speaker 1>issue is that Excalibur was wishing him well with recovering from,

<v Speaker 1>I guess he's recovered because he's wrestling on Friday, I think,

<v Speaker 1>for the CMLL championship, so that was a little weird.

<v Speaker 1>Claudio delivered a giant swing. into the barricade before a

<v Speaker 1>picture-in-picture break. Later on, there was another giant swing in

<v Speaker 1>the ring. Claudio went for a sharpshooter. Moxley, though, caught

<v Speaker 1>him in an inside cradle for a near fall. So

<v Speaker 1>Claudio knocked him out of the ring with an uppercut.

<v Speaker 1>Moxley made it back in before the count of nine,

<v Speaker 1>but as he did, he got stomped into the mat.

<v Speaker 1>And Claudio followed up with a neutralizer. Moxley, though, kicked out.

<v Speaker 1>Moxley came back with a paradigm shift. Claudio kicked out

<v Speaker 1>at one. So then Moxley quickly hit a stomp of

<v Speaker 1>his own and then a death rider for another near fall.

<v Speaker 1>Moxley got the bulldog choke applied. Claudio began to fade

<v Speaker 1>and ultimately the referee called for the stoppage. And so

<v Speaker 1>John Moxley, predictable, is going to the finals of this tournament.

<v Speaker 1>I thought they had a good match. And like I

<v Speaker 1>said at the beginning, looking at what we got on

<v Speaker 1>the show tonight, if there had to be a real

<v Speaker 1>main event match on this show, this should have been it.

<v Speaker 1>It's just weird that they didn't close with this. What

<v Speaker 1>we got here was good. Not much else to say

<v Speaker 1>about it, though. I mean, I think you can pretty

<v Speaker 1>much map out where this was going, you know, coming

<v Speaker 1>into tonight. And Jon Moxley solidifies his spot. The only

<v Speaker 1>question at this point was who was going to be

<v Speaker 1>on the other side of the ring wrestling him in

<v Speaker 1>the other match. We would find out here in just

<v Speaker 1>a little bit. Adam Copeland. Christian Cage and Adam Copeland

<v Speaker 1>are defending their tag team titles this Sunday against the

<v Speaker 1>Young Bucks. Tonight, Adam Copeland was teaming up with the

<v Speaker 1>Young Bucks. Why? Because I don't fucking know why. I

<v Speaker 1>don't know. And I don't know why Copeland was in

<v Speaker 1>the match and not Christian. Trio's match. Cope and the

<v Speaker 1>Bucks taking on the Don Callis family. Brian Cage, Jake Doyle,

<v Speaker 1>and Rocky Romero. Gee, I wonder who's taking the losing

<v Speaker 1>fall here in this match. For the finish, the Bucks,

<v Speaker 1>they took out Doyle and Romero on the floor. They

<v Speaker 1>interrupted Brian Cage as he was trying to suplex Copeland

<v Speaker 1>back into the ring. Romero, he hit a double Rana

<v Speaker 1>to the Bucs. And I think he screamed goal. I

<v Speaker 1>think he kind of slid into the corner. But he

<v Speaker 1>ate a double super kick from the Bucs and then

<v Speaker 1>a spear from Copeland. And Rocky Romero, surprise, surprise, he

<v Speaker 1>takes the losing fall for his team here in this match.

<v Speaker 1>When the match was over, everything seemed to be copacetic

<v Speaker 1>with Copeland and the Bucs. But then Christian Cage's music hits.

<v Speaker 1>He comes out. He's got a mic in his hand.

<v Speaker 1>He says, now that the hug fest is over, it's

<v Speaker 1>time for the Bucks to sit down and shut up

<v Speaker 1>while he conducts his business. He doesn't have time for

<v Speaker 1>people that are inferior to him as the Bucks are.

<v Speaker 1>He says, don't get him wrong. You guys are good,

<v Speaker 1>but you haven't had as many titles as we have,

<v Speaker 1>and you haven't had any matches named after you. And

<v Speaker 1>this Sunday, you will learn the difference between influence and legendaries.

<v Speaker 1>So Nick Jackson had something to say about that. He said, well,

<v Speaker 1>we might not have many matches named for us, but

<v Speaker 1>have you ever had a company named after you? Last week,

<v Speaker 1>they accidentally kicked Christian in the face, but if he

<v Speaker 1>wants to keep talking shit, this time it'll be on purpose.

<v Speaker 1>So everybody got up in each other's faces. Christian kicked

<v Speaker 1>Matt low. Nick Jackson then super kicked Christian. Copeland then

<v Speaker 1>speared Nick. Copeland... appeared very conflicted about this. Christian seemed

<v Speaker 1>pretty happy with the result. So that was the last

<v Speaker 1>little push there towards the tag team title match on Sunday,

<v Speaker 1>just to build a little more friction between the two teams.

<v Speaker 1>Copeland did an interview, I don't remember who it was with,

<v Speaker 1>it was in the last few days, and he was asked,

<v Speaker 1>you know, as far as like no stipulations, or maybe

<v Speaker 1>he brought it up on his own, but he addressed

<v Speaker 1>the issue of why there was no big stipulations. for

<v Speaker 1>their match on Sunday. And the answer he gave is

<v Speaker 1>the answer that you would figure, which is that this is,

<v Speaker 1>to a lot of people, maybe you don't fall into

<v Speaker 1>this category, but there are many people who look at

<v Speaker 1>this as a tag team dream match. It's a match

<v Speaker 1>that a lot of people never thought they would get

<v Speaker 1>to see, right? Edging Christian, back together as a team,

<v Speaker 1>wrestling the Young Bucks, the clash of two different eras.

<v Speaker 1>And it's the first time. So you don't need a stipulation.

<v Speaker 1>The match should sell itself. For the people who want

<v Speaker 1>to see the match, it doesn't need a ladder. It

<v Speaker 1>doesn't need a cage. It doesn't need some wild stip.

<v Speaker 1>And if you want to run it back again, you

<v Speaker 1>can always run it back. Maybe it all out with

<v Speaker 1>a stipulation. And I agree. It didn't need a stipulation.

<v Speaker 1>It didn't need a third team or a fourth team.

<v Speaker 1>Just keep it two, you know, two on two. That's

<v Speaker 1>all it needs to be. The hype for this match

<v Speaker 1>has really taken a backseat in recent weeks. Even tonight,

<v Speaker 1>you know, what they did was fine, but It just

<v Speaker 1>seems like it wasn't really as much of a priority

<v Speaker 1>as maybe I thought it would be. Or maybe Tony

<v Speaker 1>Khan just feels like the match sells itself. It could

<v Speaker 1>be as simple as that. But what they did here

<v Speaker 1>I thought was effective enough. People who are excited to

<v Speaker 1>see the match, they're going to be excited. And the

<v Speaker 1>people who aren't, this show didn't do anything to change

<v Speaker 1>their mind. Now, Rene was backstage with Mark Davis and

<v Speaker 1>Don Callis, who they said was back from his vacation

<v Speaker 1>to Croatia. I didn't have that on my travel list.

<v Speaker 1>Should I add it? I could always add it to

<v Speaker 1>the bottom of the list of places I have not

<v Speaker 1>been to, but maybe one day I wish to check out.

<v Speaker 1>Kala said Davis is going to win the casino gauntlet,

<v Speaker 1>and he's going to bring the world championship home to

<v Speaker 1>the family. And then Mark Davis looked into the camera,

<v Speaker 1>and he growled. He didn't speak. And that was that.

<v Speaker 1>Coming out of this, we heard Andrade El Idolo's music.

<v Speaker 1>He never came out, though. And then the music quickly

<v Speaker 1>shifted to MJF's theme. And so he made his entrance.

<v Speaker 1>He was wearing, he was not in a suit this time,

<v Speaker 1>which is rare for him. He was wearing a t-shirt,

<v Speaker 1>had his triple B around his waist. So he said,

<v Speaker 1>it's great to be in sunny Ireland. Fans did not

<v Speaker 1>like that. They booed him. He said, oh, wait, we're

<v Speaker 1>in Scotland. Makes no difference. They're all drunk pieces of trash.

<v Speaker 1>And he informed us that Andrew L. Italo is not

<v Speaker 1>here tonight because he paid some gentlemen to warm him

<v Speaker 1>up before their match at Wembley, their match being, of course,

<v Speaker 1>the Casino Gauntlet. But don't fear. The one true champion

<v Speaker 1>is here. It's not like what Andrew does is revolutionary.

<v Speaker 1>He wears a T-shirt like a schmuck. He wears fake jewelry.

<v Speaker 1>Of course, the irony being that he came out here

<v Speaker 1>tonight wearing a T-shirt and wearing fake jewelry. Said he

<v Speaker 1>could also take a picture with a hot chick, but

<v Speaker 1>finding one in Scotland is going to be basically impossible. Now,

<v Speaker 1>there is a woman who was in the front row

<v Speaker 1>that he pointed out. She was quite, quite lovely. And

<v Speaker 1>she happens to be standing there in the corner. And

<v Speaker 1>he says, you know, in America, she would be a

<v Speaker 1>four out of 10. But here she's a 10. So

<v Speaker 1>he's going to take a picture with her. But first,

<v Speaker 1>he has one question. Now, he's got his back turned

<v Speaker 1>to her. And this was the moment where Andrade was

<v Speaker 1>supposed to appear behind him. It took him a few

<v Speaker 1>extra seconds. So MJF was standing with his back turned

<v Speaker 1>for an awfully long time before Andrade suddenly appeared behind him.

<v Speaker 1>He had a mic in his hand. He said, how

<v Speaker 1>you know? And he turned around. Andrade attacked him. And MJF,

<v Speaker 1>I mean, he didn't really do much damage. MJF collected

<v Speaker 1>his belt. And quickly hightailed it. Andrade held up his

<v Speaker 1>national title in the ring. MJF held up his fake

<v Speaker 1>world title. And that was it. That's all they did.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, this was as basic an MJF segment or

<v Speaker 1>promo on this show as you will ever see. Not

<v Speaker 1>much else to say about it. They are going to

<v Speaker 1>be one and two in the casino gauntlet coming up

<v Speaker 1>this weekend. I don't think either one of them are winning.

<v Speaker 1>I think they cancel each other out. Chris Jericho is

<v Speaker 1>in the back. He had no match announced up until

<v Speaker 1>tonight for All In. Now you knew he was going

<v Speaker 1>to be there. The only question was, is he going

<v Speaker 1>to be in the gauntlet? Are they going to shove

<v Speaker 1>him into something else? Give him two partners and put

<v Speaker 1>him in the trios match because we don't have enough

<v Speaker 1>teams in that. So Jericho is standing there. He says

<v Speaker 1>he knows everybody should want to be the world champion.

<v Speaker 1>Doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman. And

<v Speaker 1>he was the first AEW champion, but he wants to

<v Speaker 1>be again. And so not only is he going to

<v Speaker 1>be in the Casino Gauntlet match this Sunday, but he

<v Speaker 1>talked to Tony Khan and on Collision, which I believe

<v Speaker 1>was already taped. Collision's already in the can. They taped

<v Speaker 1>it tonight. That'll air on Saturday, I assume. On Collision,

<v Speaker 1>he's going to be teaming with Speedball, Mike Bailey, and

<v Speaker 1>Commander to take on Tommaso Ciampa, Nick Wayne, and Mark Davis,

<v Speaker 1>all of whom I assume are going to be in

<v Speaker 1>the Casino Gauntlet. I know Ciampa already announced himself, and Commander,

<v Speaker 1>I think, also did. The others, I'm sure, will be

<v Speaker 1>in there as well, assuming the gauntlet goes long enough

<v Speaker 1>for them to actually enter, because that's how the gauntlet works.

<v Speaker 1>Then we had our second and final, semi-final match in

<v Speaker 1>the Continental Cup to determine who goes on to Wembley

<v Speaker 1>to wrestle Jon Moxley for the cup and the championship.

<v Speaker 1>This was Kyle O'Reilly, No stranger to Jon Moxley. He's

<v Speaker 1>tapped Moxley out twice before. Going one-on-one with the injured, injured,

<v Speaker 1>Nigel McGuinness. And I talked about this on The Sound Duff.

<v Speaker 1>I said, you know, this is likely going to end

<v Speaker 1>up being Moxley and Nigel. I really hope it's not O'Reilly.

<v Speaker 1>They've had some good matches before, but it's been done

<v Speaker 1>to death. He's got history going back to last year.

<v Speaker 1>He tapped him out in blood and guts. He tapped

<v Speaker 1>him out, I think, a second time. They just wrestled

<v Speaker 1>a double or nothing. In fact, they had two matches

<v Speaker 1>that week. They had a 20-minute draw on television, and

<v Speaker 1>then they had a title match, a double or nothing,

<v Speaker 1>and Moxley beat him. I have no interest in seeing

<v Speaker 1>them run this back again, which leaves Nigel, who is

<v Speaker 1>selling this ankle injury, which doesn't exactly make for a

<v Speaker 1>terribly exciting match. It certainly didn't last week when he

<v Speaker 1>wrestled Hechicero, and it didn't tonight either with Kyle. They

<v Speaker 1>had a very technical, map-based match. The wrestling was fine.

<v Speaker 1>The match was not exciting at all. So McGinnis, of course,

<v Speaker 1>sold the bad ankle. O'Reilly made it a target of his.

<v Speaker 1>He got a submission applied later on on the ankle.

<v Speaker 1>McGinnis was able to get to the bottom rope to

<v Speaker 1>break it. Nigel came back with a lariat for a

<v Speaker 1>near fall, then he got the London Dungeon submission applied,

<v Speaker 1>and Kyle squirmed, and ultimately he tapped out. And so

<v Speaker 1>Nigel McGuinness, he has punched his ticket, he is going

<v Speaker 1>to London, he is going to Wembley, he is going

<v Speaker 1>to challenge for the Continental Championship in the finals of

<v Speaker 1>this tournament. You know, again, the wrestling in this match

<v Speaker 1>was fine. I just I was just mostly bored watching this.

<v Speaker 1>And as far as Moxley and Nigel are concerned, this

<v Speaker 1>still affiliated with it, but that was Les Thatcher's promotion,

<v Speaker 1>his territory. And Les Thatcher had a hand in training

<v Speaker 1>both these men. So it's been a long time since

<v Speaker 1>they've been in the ring together, but there is a

<v Speaker 1>little bit of history there. And, you know, as far

<v Speaker 1>as when I went over the predictions, I know that

<v Speaker 1>there is actually a very good possibility that Nigel could

<v Speaker 1>retire this weekend. And if he's going to, I mean,

<v Speaker 1>what a great place to do it, right in the

<v Speaker 1>middle of Wembley Stadium. So we'll see if he leaves

<v Speaker 1>his boots in the ring and they do the whole

<v Speaker 1>production at the end where he fights and fights and

<v Speaker 1>ultimately he fails. And then he declares that this is

<v Speaker 1>the end of the road for him. He was going

<v Speaker 1>to wrestle Lee Moriarty on the Ring of Honor pay-per-view

<v Speaker 1>on Friday. They pulled him from that match because of

<v Speaker 1>his injury, which I assume the injury is all the work.

<v Speaker 1>But the stipulation in that match was that if he

<v Speaker 1>didn't beat Moriarty, for the pure title, he would have

<v Speaker 1>to retire forever from Ring of Honor, specifically ROH. They

<v Speaker 1>pulled him from that match. I do wonder if the

<v Speaker 1>idea is for him to retire this weekend. It's possible.

<v Speaker 1>I went with Nigel to win in my predictions because

<v Speaker 1>I think that Moxley could enter the gauntlet as a surprise,

<v Speaker 1>win the contract, and then coming out of this pay-per-view,

<v Speaker 1>set himself up to challenge Will Ospreay for the championship.

<v Speaker 1>That was kind of the one, I guess, out there prediction. Sure,

<v Speaker 1>most people pretty much figure Moxley's going to win, which

<v Speaker 1>would not really be a shock. But if they wanted

<v Speaker 1>to give Nigel that moment, I mean, look, that's fine.

<v Speaker 1>I really have no desire to see Nigel McGuinness as

<v Speaker 1>the continental champion. They have a surplus of talent. in

<v Speaker 1>this company, younger talent, full-time talent, that really, if they

<v Speaker 1>have this title, should be fighting for it. Moxley has

<v Speaker 1>been undefeated. Undefeated. Most, if not all, of the year

<v Speaker 1>in singles competition. When he finally loses, it should be

<v Speaker 1>a big deal. It probably should be Will Ospreay. Maybe

<v Speaker 1>it will be. If he wins this weekend... Whether he

<v Speaker 1>enters himself into the gauntlet or not, he's going to be,

<v Speaker 1>if not the first, one of the first challengers you

<v Speaker 1>would have to imagine for Will Ospreay. When they eventually

<v Speaker 1>meet for the championship, Moxley has to lose. He beat

<v Speaker 1>Ospreay earlier this year when they were doing the whole

<v Speaker 1>Deathriders angle with him. When they circle back around to it,

<v Speaker 1>he will lose. It'll mean more if it's to Ospreay.

<v Speaker 1>For Nigel to go in there, you know, part-time announcer

<v Speaker 1>and beat Jon Moxley to just get, what, a big

<v Speaker 1>moment at Wembley? Didn't he wrestle at Wembley last year?

<v Speaker 1>Wasn't he in the gauntlet last year? Or not, I

<v Speaker 1>guess two years ago. They were in Texas last year.

<v Speaker 1>It would have been two years ago. That was his

<v Speaker 1>Wembley moment. So there's no real need for him to

<v Speaker 1>go in there and win the championship. I wouldn't really

<v Speaker 1>be a big fan of that, but That's my prediction.

<v Speaker 1>I think Tony wants to give him a nice moment unless, again,

<v Speaker 1>unless he's retiring. Renee interviewed the international champion. We got

<v Speaker 1>one champion here, champion there. We got champions all over

<v Speaker 1>the place here. It's the night of champions. Kyle Fletcher

<v Speaker 1>was in the back with Don Callis. So Renee asked

<v Speaker 1>Callis about the issues between Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada of late.

<v Speaker 1>just the way he said it. He's... He tries to

<v Speaker 1>be funny sometimes, and he is, and then sometimes he's

<v Speaker 1>just unintentionally funny in his delivery. So I was at

<v Speaker 1>least amused by what we got here from these two.

<v Speaker 1>MJF and Andrade earlier, right? They're going to cancel each

<v Speaker 1>going to cancel each other out. The belt's going to

<v Speaker 1>end up back on Takeshita because they're They probably didn't

<v Speaker 1>want to take it off him in the first place.

<v Speaker 1>these four. I would think, coming out of what we

<v Speaker 1>saw here, they would add this to the pre-show. We

<v Speaker 1>have a two-hour pre-show, by the way. The fucking pre-show

<v Speaker 1>starts at 11 o'clock in the morning Eastern Time, and

<v Speaker 1>the main card starts at 1 p.m. I wasn't sure

<v Speaker 1>if the pre-show was 60 minutes or 90 minutes, and

<v Speaker 1>then we come to find out it's 120 minutes, because

<v Speaker 1>of course it is. But it is their biggest show

<v Speaker 1>of the year. So it's to be expected. But they

<v Speaker 1>announced no matches for the pre-show. That may have been

<v Speaker 1>the biggest thing that shocked me tonight. I was expecting

<v Speaker 1>maybe one more match on the main card. I thought

<v Speaker 1>maybe he couldn't help himself. Get to an even 10.

<v Speaker 1>Right now we have nine matches. Not only did he

<v Speaker 1>not add anything to the main car, which I think

<v Speaker 1>is fine, but they didn't even announce what the pre-show

<v Speaker 1>match is. I'm sure they're going to add like three

<v Speaker 1>or four of them. But we didn't get anything. This

<v Speaker 1>would make sense. Do Persephone and Maya one-on-one for the

<v Speaker 1>TBS title on Sunday. And the main event was Swerve

<v Speaker 1>Strickland one-on-one with Jack Perry, who at present time has

<v Speaker 1>no match on Sunday, but he's in the fucking main

<v Speaker 1>event here of Dynamite in Glasgow. There was a spot

<v Speaker 1>early on, right before the commercial break, Perry tried to

<v Speaker 1>take him off the apron with a rana. Swerve held on,

<v Speaker 1>and he swung him into the ring post, and then

<v Speaker 1>Perry took this hard fall as he dropped right onto

<v Speaker 1>the edge of the steps, and then he splatted on

<v Speaker 1>the ground. Later on, though, Perry, after making a comeback,

<v Speaker 1>he hit a sliced bread on the floor, followed by

<v Speaker 1>not one but two suicide dives, then a flip dive

<v Speaker 1>out onto Swerve. Then he went up top and hit

<v Speaker 1>a moonsault. So he was going crazy here. Back in

<v Speaker 1>the ring, Perry was looking for the running knee strike. Strickland, though,

<v Speaker 1>caught him with a house call kick. Swerve went up

<v Speaker 1>to the top, hit the Swerve stomp, but no, he

<v Speaker 1>did not hit the Swerve stomp because Perry rolled through

<v Speaker 1>into the snare trap submission. Swerve, though, managed to free

<v Speaker 1>himself and both men worked back up to their feet.

<v Speaker 1>Strickland popped him up into the air. Perry, though, countered

<v Speaker 1>with a Rana for a two count. Swerve caught him

<v Speaker 1>with a sit-down driver, and then picked Perry back up.

<v Speaker 1>He connected with big pressure, and he picked up the win.

<v Speaker 1>After the match was over, Strickland gave him a fist bump,

<v Speaker 1>just like Moxley did when Moxley had his match with

<v Speaker 1>Perry in the, I believe, opening round of the Continental Cup.

<v Speaker 1>And that's how the main part of the show, we

<v Speaker 1>weren't done yet, but that's how the main portion of

<v Speaker 1>the show went off the air. Now, this was a

<v Speaker 1>good match. What we got from these two was good.

<v Speaker 1>I just don't know why this was the main event.

<v Speaker 1>Very weird. And again, Swerve is going to be involved,

<v Speaker 1>if anything, in a trios match on Sunday. Jack Perry,

<v Speaker 1>my guess is he'll end up in the casino gauntlet,

<v Speaker 1>but of all the names that have been mentioned or

<v Speaker 1>have put their name in the hat, even on collision,

<v Speaker 1>from what I've been tracking, I don't believe he's entered himself,
